- 0:00Because fuck you. That's why, is a founding member of the Odd Pods
- 0:03Media Network. Yo, what is up? Welcome to episode two twenty one
- 0:40of b F Y t W. That audience jumped in really early, but
- 0:46that's what we're super excited. Yeah, I get being excited. There's a
- 0:50good reason to be excited to be have a special guest with us. It's
- 0:53c J A k A d j Xanthus from Radio Airwaves dot co dot You
- 0:59can motherfucker how are you? I'm good, gentlemen. It is great to
- 1:03be back. I love playing games with you all. Your some of my
- 1:07favorite people in the world to hang out with games, despite despite my over
- 1:15Yeah, so we're calling this episode the Handicapped Match, uh for a couple
- 1:21of reasons. One, CJ has not won a single game of b F
- 1:26Y t W or gate Leapers, despite many, many attempts, many attempts,
- 1:33he has been entirely shut out. You know, can I talk about
- 1:38the one that's hurt the most? Because I can. I know which one
- 1:41stung the most. Bring the pain. That's what our audiences like to hear.
- 1:47There. There's two that stick out for me. One of them is
- 1:49recent, the other ones from a while ago. The recent one is the
- 1:53one where you had me leading the team with Jabo and and the gate Leapers
- 1:57and that two. Yeah, that on that one's stings only because I felt
- 2:02like I let them down, like I didn't mind losing, that's whatever.
- 2:07But the fact that I felt like it was my fault since I was the
- 2:09quote unquote captain of the teams not stung a little bit. But the one
- 2:15that stings personally, to be fair, like nobody else on that team stood
- 2:20up and said I'll do it, like no any of them could have.
- 2:23They didn't, and you guys waffled over for a long time because nobody wanted
- 2:28to do it. You got shoved into it if I yes, I did,
- 2:30But that's so it was not your fault then, because you did not
- 2:35want to be captain and you you were, You were forced into it,
- 2:38so you cannot take that as your fault, sir. Well. But yeah,
- 2:42but as the Knight and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade said, I
- 2:46chose poorly, you know, well, yeah, you had a rough video
- 2:54games question that in retrospect was way too difficult, like I just and also
- 2:59I think it was very very hard and it was also hard to wrap your
- 3:01head around because there were a lot of you know, clarifications on it,
- 3:06like you know how many different games? Well, does that include sequels?
- 3:08Does that include this? Does that include expansions and all this? And I'm
- 3:12like, yeah, it's a lot to think about. I was thinking more
- 3:15about the the where I got to substitute someone's answer and I fucking shot the
- 3:22bed so hard on that one. That was Yeah, it was wrong.
- 3:25But the one that stings personally the most for me is probably Red Bank.
- 3:30When we were up at Red Bank together and it was everybody for themselves and
- 3:37there was just ten to one like you had, that would have been so
- 3:40hard to win, like what I was if you, I don't know if
- 3:45you remember, but I was the lead by a margin going into the third
- 3:49random round, and I just you got tired first with me. You were
- 3:53tied for first with Mexi. You both had nine points, which was insane.
- 3:58Yeah, and and you Yeah, And then Bridget came out of nowhere.
- 4:02Bridget. Bridget just knows a shitload, Like she just dies. She
- 4:08absolutely fucking nailed her general trivia around to the wall. Her fandom is like,
- 4:13I think she only missed a couple, so like she just came out
- 4:15strong in the second round, and there's nothing you can do about that,
- 4:17honestly, you know, if the questions don't fall for you, they don't,
- 4:21Like trivia games are actually more about luck than they are. But I
- 4:26mean, having more knowledge certainly helps, right, But but if if you
- 4:30if the questions don't fall for you, you can't really do anything about it.
- 4:34The best the best you can do is take a good educated guest and
- 4:38hope for the best, right, you know, I say, I say
- 4:41sings in very tongue in cheek, like I'm like trying myself to sleep nightly
- 4:46over all, right, well, to continue to make things hard on CJ.
- 4:51He's and this was his idea. I need to pause it. He's
- 4:56decided to play by himself versus our dream team of Stevie and Aggy there because
- 5:03they're half asleep. I shouldn't have done that last thing. So I guess
- 5:11I'll make our usual introductions by asking I don't know something about a handicap match,
- 5:18like what is your favorite hmm, this is this is tough to work
- 5:25in, Like, what what is your favorite? You know, what what
- 5:28is your favorite underdog story? Underdogs. Yeah, yeah, a time when
- 5:32there is someone. It could even be a movie or a video game.
- 5:36It could be it could be an actual sporting event. Like what is your
- 5:41favorite underdog story? Oh my god, that's a good question. Yeah,
- 5:46I guess I might the one I keep coming back to my favorite. I
- 5:54think I think sports movie period of all time is a league of their own.
- 5:59I love that movie. I love that movie. So watch we should
- 6:01do a movie night, but we're bringing extra boxes of tissues and it's not
- 6:05for jerking, it's for tears, like seriously watched. Now. I don't
- 6:11know if that. I don't know if that actually qualifies as an underdog story
- 6:14because if I recall, at the end of the thing, they actually lose.
- 6:18Yeah, so it's not actually an underdog story. So that's a terrible
- 6:23answer spoilers sorry, like for like thirty years ago. So I guess that's
- 6:30a terrible answer. But it's a good answer because I mean, it really
- 6:33is a good story, and I consider it an underdog story. For Kit,
- 6:38she was the main character, and she won this game at the end
- 6:42because she was able to shoulder check her bigger older sister who was a catcher
- 6:46and shit at the time Dotty and knocked that ball out and scored that game
- 6:50one and one, and then she became the hero, even though she was
- 6:53the one looked down at the whole time. She dropped it on. She
- 6:58want, He's like, my Hugby back, I'm done. I'll give a
- 7:01fuck all right. So I've given you to guys a little bit of time
- 7:09to think. Oh, Ship, we were thinking I was just were supposed
- 7:11to be the other people think. Do you have an answer? Yes?
- 7:15My favorite underdog story is kung Fu Panda, a story of a panda who
- 7:28can talk and played by Jack Jack Black, if I remember correctly, who
- 7:33learns karate and becomes a karate master. Does he learn kung fu hence the
- 7:42name kung Fu? Yeah. Augie has not even seen this movie. He's
- 7:48just rapidly looking this up on his phone. He's like, what the fuck
- 7:53is an underdog story? Ship, Lucy los in this movie? I knew
- 8:01it. I knew it? Uh CJ. Do you have an underdog story
- 8:05that you're f I do, well. I'm gonna I'm gonna tug at the
- 8:07heart strings a minute here though, and I'm gonna hit one that's a little
- 8:13close to home. At least for this group of people. But I got
- 8:15to give a big shout out to Jamie Mughes. He just turned fifty years
- 8:18old, and as heavy as he was into the drugs and ship, the
- 8:22fact that he made it this far and is doing as well as he does
- 8:26is now to have a wife and two kids. Yeah, that's a comeback
- 8:31story if you If I've ever heard, there was a point where we were
- 8:35all like, yeah, j making it much longer, and that was a
- 8:39while ago, so there was a real danger that we were going to lose
- 8:43him for real. Yeah, and scary, but he brought himself back from
- 8:48the brink. He had help, for sure, but for sure, you
- 8:50know he he did it. He absolutely did it a thousand percent. He
- 8:54did it so mad. Props to Jamus. That's a good answer, Stevie,
- 9:01you're the only one I'm left. I'm gonna actually combine those two in
- 9:05a way, which is kind of weird, but I'm gonna use well,
- 9:09I'm gonna use Jay and Silent Bob, the characters themselves at the end of
- 9:15Uh Clerks too. They actually have gone from like low life just drug dealers
- 9:22to some sober drug dealers who have also saved up so much money that they
- 9:26could buy the quick Stop and give the actual initial down payment for Randall and
- 9:31Dante, and in turn Randall and Dante as well because they'd be able to
- 9:37They grew up and realized this whole fucking time, all they needed were each
- 9:39other and the fucking quick Stop, and if they would just bang, it
- 9:43would all be fucking perfect. Stevie, I wonder if you know what an
- 9:50underdog story is as well? They went at the look on your phone.
- 9:56Shit, I'm I mean, there's Underdog in the cartoon. There's no need
- 10:05to fear Underdog is here. I suppose you could have gone with that.
- 10:09I do remember two episodes of Underdog. Anyway, let's get into the actual
- 10:13game showing. Yeah, all right, our first game is going to be
- 10:18like share block. Oh, I've got three news stories here. We're gonna
- 10:22go for each of them briefly, and then you guys are gonna have to
- 10:26determine what combination of like share block I would apply to each of these stories
- 10:31on social media. Team that gets it right will win, But if nobody
- 10:35gets it right, the team that is closest to the actual combination will win,
- 10:39and we'll start with story number one, Japanese man grows a record breaking
- 10:43sixty three leaf clover. Now I have to wonder just how lucky that is.
- 10:52Is it really lucky? I remember a four leaf clover being a big
- 10:56deal when we were kids, right, and now there's sixty three leaf clovers.
- 11:01The people are all genetically altering them and stuff. Now I'm like,
- 11:03fuck, yeah, he did not he did not find this. He made
- 11:09it. Yeah, like he didn't, he didn't like, he didn't like
- 11:11paste clovers together. Tear him off with like like no, no, no,
- 11:16no no. Now this thing actually grew and in two thousand and nine,
- 11:24somebody else grew a fifty six leaf clover, so he beat it by
- 11:30seven. Whoa, Like, it's a massive jump to a sixty three leaf
- 11:33clover. So I got a question, Yeah, are these used for anything
- 11:37other than just growing clovers? Like they're just growing it's just for the records.
- 11:43He has a small patch of clovers in his yard and is specifically to
- 11:46see how high he can get that number. Now we know that genetics are
- 11:50involved, but we don't know exactly how it works, because sometimes you just
- 11:54wind up with a three leaf clover. Anyway, He's not no, sorry,
- 12:00I'm really high. What the I knew it? I fucking knew it
- 12:09all I can think it was a fish video and everything is fucking weed and
- 12:13jerking off to you. Everything, fucking everything can be boiled down to weed
- 12:18and jerking off or literally everything. It's just a metaphor for you make your
- 12:24own luck or some ship. Yes, see science, we have a scientist
- 12:30on our team. That's proven fact. He's got a degree. No it's
- 12:35not. He got a degree in science saved me. I don't know how
- 12:41right now, like this this is god say weird science. The movie seems
- 12:52more normal than this right now? Fair, you wanted this, I did
- 13:01ask for this, your warned. But this this gentleman was given a Guinness
- 13:07World Record for his fine. Okay, I got another question. So when
- 13:11you get the Guinness World Record, I know, you get put in the
- 13:13book and stuff and you get the title, Well, open up eyes.
- 13:18Do you get anything else out of it? Or is it just that?
- 13:20And then you try to get sponsored stuff after that you don't get money.
- 13:24You're asking me like it's happened to me. I don't know. Maybe you
- 13:26will if you like how super amazing sci fi audio books of New Age generation.
- 13:35Ah, you do get a certificate smoke that that you get. You
- 13:41get a certificate that you can hang anywhere you'd like like the Will you want
- 13:46a chocolate certificate? Chocolate? All right, We're gonna move on. Story
- 13:52number two. I gotta story number two. A mirrored monolith has appeared in
- 14:01the Nevada desert. So in late twenty twenty, bizarre monoliths made out of
- 14:07a polished medal suddenly appeared in places as far apart as Utah and Romania in
- 14:13Europe. In each case, however, they vanished as quickly as they showed
- 14:16up, usually because the locals tore them down. Now, however, the
- 14:20monoliths appear to be back. Nevada law enforcement officials recently published new pictures of
- 14:26a mirror clear spire jutting out of the desert near Las Vegas. No way,
- 14:33yep, yes way, Wait is the law? The law enforcement posted
- 14:37the photos. Yeah, yes, this is different, this is weird.
- 14:41Who's doing this? The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue team discovered
- 14:46the latest monolith at some point during the weekend of June fourteenth to the sixteenth.
- 14:50Whoa. However, they didn't make it public until the following Monday.
- 14:54It's got to be like a social experiment. The cops are trying to gauge
- 14:58how long it takes for the locals to go nuts and just break it down,
- 15:01Like if we put something out here, are the locals just gonna come
- 15:05by and just to face it? Well, didn't originally, like when they
- 15:07came out in early two thousands, they said they couldn't figure out how to
- 15:09take on a part initially, like it was actually put together really weird.
- 15:13This initially happened in twenty twenty. Yeah, so right in the middle of
- 15:18COVID, somebody's testing a specific like reinforced way of building to see what takes
- 15:24is the hardest to dismantle. I think it just proves the aliens caused COVID.
- 15:30That's what. Oh my, stop dropping your shit on our planet.
- 15:35We're not a trash sheep yet. Speaking of dropping your ship. The concern
- 15:41for the Las Vegas TP is that the person who erected the monolith committed a
- 15:46crime because the peak where it's located is in the Desert National Wildlife Refuge.
- 15:52It's federal land and it's illegal to put things on it without permission. Yeah,
- 16:00And to make matters worse, they're worried that people are gonna come looking
- 16:03for it and leaving inappropriate things behind, like a mountain of trash and or
- 16:08feces because there are no bathrooms in the desert. Right, Yeah, dang,
- 16:15that's messing. And this is exactly what happened in Utah in November twenty
- 16:19twenty. People left behind a mountain of trash and poop is at the arch
- 16:22park, right, I don't know where exactly the Utah one was. Yeah,
- 16:29I remember hearing that and I was like, that's so messed up.
- 16:32Yeah, like, people are disgusting, and also like I get curiosity.
- 16:37I get you want to go physically see it, because like why else would
- 16:40you not want to, But like, yeah, don't, don't deface the
- 16:44fucking area. It's already been fucking somebody else. Up your shit, that's
- 16:49fucked up. Pick up after yourself, God damn it. Carry your own
- 16:55poop. This is episode two. Carry your own please, your own ass.
- 17:03But what if it was aliens? Is this Aliens trying to test to
- 17:07see how long it takes us to fucking just defile anything they put down,
- 17:12Like if we decided to put our structure here, What will the humans do
- 17:17up? They're shitting all over Okay, yeah, they're still monkeys, still
- 17:21fucking monkeys. Maybe maybe it's new age Stanley Kubrick fans could be it's actually
- 17:29a communication device. We're just too stupid to figure out out, and we
- 17:32just keep destroying it and just like nope, we can't even make contact with
- 17:36these fools yet. The portal from Ireland to New York, people were flashing
- 17:41each other like streating porn on their phones, just holding it up. Well,
- 17:47there's like kids present and ship. It's like, what the fuck.
- 17:49There's such a good opportunity, you know. All right, let's go to
- 17:53our third and final story. Bear breaks into a Canadian woman's car and eats
- 17:57the upholstery. Naturally, her insurance isn't covering a dime. Aw, that's
- 18:03fucked up. Sounds like Canada. A black bear managed to open the door
- 18:08of her Honda and climb inside the vehicle, and by the time she noticed
- 18:12the bear, it had devoured the seats of her car and was dozing off
- 18:17for a post dinner nap. What the fuck? That's a bullshit all right?
- 18:23How pissy you coming down? Like? Oh I gotta go to work
- 18:26and there's a bear sleeping with your door broken into and your bullstery all destroyed.
- 18:30However, the story gets better. Her car isn't the only one the
- 18:34bear has vandalized, nor was this the first time the bear targeted her car.
- 18:41The beast had already been caught and transported dozens of miles away after it
- 18:45wrecked her previous vehicle. But the bear came back clearly, clearly it has
- 18:53something against this woman. Yes, like, okay, one of two things.
- 19:03Either it's a revenge story and I want to know the other perspective,
- 19:07or it's a like a pheromone thing, like there's something in the scent of
- 19:11her or something she's got. Well, it clearly is attracted to her son,
- 19:15so right off the bat, I knows it's her. Otherwise it's complete
- 19:19coincidence. It was her twice. But I mean I believe it, like
- 19:26I've I've heard of animals being transported like halfway across somewhere and then somehow made
- 19:32the way all the way back. Anyway, it's just on scent alone.
- 19:36Yeah, I think this one's correct. It's not at what the fuck Stevie
- 19:51cj Any thoughts. Yeah, I mean in terms of the answers, are
- 19:56just the article tell I don't know both of I think they're right about the
- 20:03pheromones, like certain people to just go of a certain sense to draw animals
- 20:06and draw specific animals. It's fucking weird that this sting bear because it's radio
- 20:11tag. So that's how they know it's the same bear. Because I read
- 20:15the article you shared it with us, and and the it it just did.
- 20:19It's so weird. I'm prepared to try to answer this if you would
- 20:25like to try to have some forward movement Aaron on the show itself, because
- 20:30I know there's a giant roadblock sitting at the table there with you. Yeah,
- 20:33I'm just kind of over it at this point, ready to ready to
- 20:37award you the points just out of just out of sheer. I can't win
- 20:44that way, but no, you can absolutely wine Spike. Okay, So
- 20:53those are all three of our stories. Let's just briefly remind you of Japanese
- 20:57man grows record breaking sixty three leave clover, a mirrored monolith has reappeared and
- 21:03now in the Nevada desert, and story number three, a bear breaks into
- 21:07a Canadian woman's car and eats the upholstery, Which of these would I like?
- 21:12Which one of the three would I share? And which one would I
- 21:15block? And CJ, You're gonna go first because you are you are the
- 21:19not only our guests, but you're also the handicapped player playing one. So
- 21:23I'm gonna let you more than one. But that's a different discussion. So
- 21:32where where? Why I struggle with this is Aaron. While I I've known
- 21:36you for year a number of years now, I still don't know if I
- 21:38fully get where you would go with the light share a block thing. I
- 21:41know which ones you would probably like as it as a person that's different than
- 21:45how you would treat it on social media. So I I think because of
- 21:53the the legality issues and also the potential damage to the environment, you would
- 22:02block the monolith story because fuck that. I think you would share the black
- 22:07bear story because I think you'd find out as intriguing and funny as I do,
- 22:11this bear just keeps finding this fucking woman more than anything. And then
- 22:15I think you would like the four lea or the sixty three leaf clover one
- 22:21just because of the default being the only other option really but not really actually
- 22:27giving a shit about genetically engineered planted. So although you do like science,
- 22:34so there might be some some reason to like that for that reason. So
- 22:40you're going like the sixty three leaf clover, block the mirrored monolith, and
- 22:45share the bear. Yes, very good, All right, Steven and Augie.
- 22:51You you may keep one of those three as it is, but you
- 22:55must switch the other two or you can go completely your own way. What
- 22:59comes nation do you guys like to go for? I think it's the first
- 23:03of all. I know Joke wrote down exactly what CJ said, which is
- 23:07awesome, But again, I don't know where we're going with that. I
- 23:14think it's straight up like share block story one, like story two, share
- 23:19story three block interesting. Cool, cool, that's what we're going with logic,
- 23:26just because just because it was the first thing that popped in my head,
- 23:30like share block, and you chose I might have just been thinking about
- 23:33the title of the game, not actual in my choice, but you know
- 23:37it was there. Okay, So I can reveal that neither of you got
- 23:48it exactly right. Oh, so I chose to I chose to block the
- 23:59record breakings sixty three leaf clover story. I just had no interest in it
- 24:03whatsoever. Like first of all, I literally don't give a shit about plants.
- 24:10I don't. I'm sorry. I just couldn't. I couldn't. I
- 24:14couldn't be bothered. I really couldn't. I was like, I don't care.
- 24:18The mirrored monolith story, that's interesting to me. I have to assume
- 24:22it's some like artists getting their jollies off or possibly working in some kind of
- 24:26group to do this this art exposition thing, because they just keep posting them
- 24:32awhere, and the alternative is that it's real aliens. So either way,
- 24:36it's interesting to me. The the the environmental impact. Yeah, it sucks
- 24:41that people are leaving these things behind, but I also know that people are
- 24:44cleaning these things up after they're being left behind, So I feel like the
- 24:47damage to the environment is negligible, okay, because they're being done in national
- 24:52parks. So I liked the mirrored monolith, but I absolutely shared the bear,
- 24:59which means Stevie and Haugey got zero right, but CJ got one right.
- 25:03So CJ wins very nice, very nice. CJ got my share absolutely
- 25:08correct, and that's all I needed. Uh So, yeah, that is
- 25:11one point to CJ. He is leading, However, he's been in this
- 25:15position before any times. So we're gonna see what happens when we play Game
- 25:21two, which is gonna be for two episode points and it's coming up right
- 25:26after this. We interrupt this program to bring you a new splash, Michael
- 25:37Jackson's ghost scene out a Yankees game. Cinnamon Toast Crunch now with a shrimp
- 25:44in every bite. Lil Uzziird's head Diamond has been sold on the dark Web.

- 26:22Hey man, welcome back. We are playing Game two. The cost is
- 26:26correct again. The audience jumping in a little early there, eager. They're
- 26:34very, very eager today. It's a little buzzers I put underneath all the
- 26:38seats. Oh yeah, against me. I haven't figured that out yet,
- 26:44but you know they're rooting against all of us. I'll pay just the cheer
- 26:48for everything. So I've got their contract. I've got three items up forbids.
- 26:56The closest player to the correct sale price or winning auction bid will win
- 27:00that listing. First team to win two listings wins and gets two episode points.
- 27:06So this is gonna work a little differently obviously, because we've got a
- 27:08two on one situation. So we're gonna play it with final bids rules like
- 27:15before, where you can repeatedly bid over each other again and again and again
- 27:18and again. Your first bid can be anything, can even be lower than
- 27:22the other team's first bid. Your last bid, once I've said final bids
- 27:29can be under the other team's bid, but not under your last bid.
- 27:32It must be higher than your last bid. So I will call for final
- 27:37bids when one and two things happens. Either you're getting close enough that I
- 27:40feel there's only a couple bids left in it, or one of you has
- 27:44gone over, so be very careful with your bids. I will give you
- 27:48a starting bid that your starting bid must be the amount I give you or
- 27:53higher, and I will give you an amount with you can bid, so
- 27:56you can't like if I say bids will be in a dollar, you cannot
- 28:00give me cents for example. All right, So if you're ready, let's
- 28:06get started. Our first item up for bids is a tie Beanie Baby's curly
- 28:11the Bear. The bear has been stored in a sealed container and has several
- 28:17errors, including spelling errors on the tag, incorrect color eyes, and more.
- 28:22This listing can be yours if the cost is correct. Starting bid will
- 28:26be a thousand dollars and bids will be in dollars and Stevie and Augie,
- 28:32because you are you lost last game, I will give you the first bid.
- 28:37How how has it started a thousands? Defective? To begin with one
- 28:41thousand dollars for a Beanie Baby deliberately defective? Maybe? Oh my gosh,
- 28:45starting a thousand? What do you think? Like? Fucking up the print
- 28:51is one thing, but then also fucking up the coloration of the thing.
- 28:53That's deliberate. So we should have just lost their job. Let's go with
- 28:57what like six? It's starting in thousands? Yeah, I guess I agree
- 29:06with myself. Okay, so you're going with six thousand? Yeah? All
- 29:10right? Final bids and c J do you want to You can bid anything
- 29:15you want. I was gonna go twelve fifty and fifty dollars. That seems
- 29:21a little bit more conservative. Yeah, is that what you want? To
- 29:23stick with, uh being? Did I feel like that I've been I already
- 29:27won. Yeah, all right, Stevie and AUGI you have bid six thousand.
- 29:37You can bid over that if you want, but I probably wouldn't if
- 29:41I were you. So it's like that situation where you know, when there's
- 29:45a bunch of crabs in a bucket and you go to grab one crab out
- 29:49of the bucket and then it tries to grab another one to have it share
- 29:53its fate. That's basically what happened to me just then. Sorry, sorry,
- 30:02I'm sorry. Could you say that again? You can? You can
- 30:03overbid yourselves if you want, but I wouldn't if I were you. Six
- 30:07thousand and one, six thousand and six thousand and one. Fair enough,
- 30:12Hot Odyssey, Okay, so CJ bit twelve fifty Uh the Wonder Twins bit
- 30:21six thousand and one. The actual final auction price of this Beanie Baby Curly
- 30:26the Bear is five thousand, nine hundred and ninety nine dollars. Are you
- 30:34serious that's the merrive? Yes, it is absolutely I am. I'm so
- 30:45sorry, but you overbid by one dollar right out of the gate. Genuinely
- 30:51impressive. Perhaps you erran for the poker face because I don't know that I
- 30:55could have held that knowing that information. Oh inside, I was screaming,
- 31:02was dying with laughter. There's no fucking way, Just like, how did
- 31:10it even happen? Okay, well, CJ is one item up. He
- 31:15only needs one more to win. You get props for at least getting in
- 31:18the ballpark. In my opinion, you don't get any points, but you
- 31:21at least get some props. I mean, you were, you were dollar,
- 31:23you were you were like Dad on it. You were really close.
- 31:26If you just you just diled it back a little bit, just like a
- 31:30buck, maybe a buck fifty. I didn't hit that last hit, I
- 31:33would have been fine. Yeah, all right, so let's move under our
- 31:37next item forbids. I have not made this clear, but all of these
- 31:41items because of our last news story, these all have to do with bears.
- 31:45So our next, our next item I forbids is a Louis Vauton Do
- 31:51Doo Teddy bear stuffed toy from the Spring Summer two thousand and five collection.
- 31:56It is in a plus condition with some standing on the leather. It was
- 32:00manufactured in France and shipped to the winner from Japan and this listing can be
- 32:06yours if the cost is correct. Steve ian Agi, you are still behind,
- 32:09so you will get the first bid. Bids are in one hundred dollars
- 32:14increments, and the bidding starts at two thousand dollars. Okay, now paying
- 32:20more attention, are you? Did you say this is a dupuisiton do dou?
- 32:27I did? It's spelled do o U do o U? Yes,
- 32:30okay, it was a handbag. Correct, it's a teddy bear. It's
- 32:35a stuff. Oh, yes, handpack. Do you have any ideas because
- 32:38I'm going to say like eight hundred the bat So what would you think?
- 32:44Minimum is two thousand? Never mind, you would be wrong, think two
- 32:50eight hundred, two thousand, eight hundred. Okay, c J. Let's
- 32:57see minor staining. I'm allowed to underbid them. You said, correct you
- 33:06on your first bid? Yes, if you'd like, yes, I'm going
- 33:09to go twenty two hundred. I'm gonna go two hundred. Okay, Now
- 33:14you have to go higher than the highest bid, Stevian AUGI, you're at
- 33:17twenty eight hundred. I have not called for final bids. How about we
- 33:30do thirty two hundred, Yeah, thirty two hundred over to CJ. Now
- 33:35you must bid higher than the highest bid. That's fine, I'll go thirty
- 33:37five thirty thirty five, five hundred, all right. Back to Stevi and
- 33:42Augie. Oh wow, forty two man forty two hundred, forty two hundred,
- 33:47forty two hundred. Back to c J. Yeah, all right,
- 33:52let's get let's get bears a year. I'm gonna go flat five thousand,
- 33:57five thousand dollars. Back to steviean Augie six thousand, six thousand. Back
- 34:07to CJ. I can't I have to overbid that? Right? I guess
- 34:12you do. I have I have not called for final bids yet. No,
- 34:15it's fine. It's making sure I'm following the rules. Dial a back
- 34:21a little as sace D three hundred, sixty three hundred, six thousand,
- 34:28three hundred, All right, stev and Augie sixty nine hundred, Yeah,
- 34:34sixty nine hundred. Back to CJ. Wow, what this is actually like
- 34:39a lot? I know I was gonna safe thing. Seventy two hundred,
- 34:45seven thousand, two hundred dollars, seven thousand, two hundred dollars Back to
- 34:49Stevie in Augus Teddy bear guys seventy nine hundred seventy nine hundred from stevevian augy
- 35:00back to c J. All right, do it, do it? Don't
- 35:08don't. Don't do that to me. We'll be friends forever, doing friends
- 35:15forever anyways. You know this because you'll forget tomorrow. All right? Fuck
- 35:22it? Ten grand, ten thousand dollars. I am now calling for final
- 35:28bids. Stevie and Augie. We can stay, can't we? Yes?
- 35:36You can? You can freeze on your final bid, which was seventy two
- 35:38hundred. No, that was that was That was CJ. Yours was seventy
- 35:42nine hundred. Yeah. Do you think Teddy Bear is worth more than ten
- 35:45grand? Or do you think it's just a ten grand teddy Bear? You
- 35:51don't think that's what we should? Just stay? We right? That?
- 35:52Okay, we're staying right. You're freezing on seventy nine hundred, CJ.
- 35:55Do you want to freeze on ten thousand? Why? Yeah? I can
- 36:00only go up right, I can't? You can? You can stay where
- 36:04I'm at? Yeah? All right? Fair enough. The actual final auction
- 36:08bid for this Louis Vuitton stuffed bear on eBay was ten dollarsj wins another listing.
- 36:23I didn't want to pull a smoke and go just like eight billion dollars
- 36:29right out the game. When you made that jump, we got scared.
- 36:34Were oh, well we got it, We got them stared. Very nice,
- 36:38sir, very good numb. All right, well, uh, CJ
- 36:43has absolutely destroyed and won this game outright two to nothing. Do you guys
- 36:49want to try for the last item I forbids? Yea, we might as
- 36:52well. Yeah, all right. Our final item up forbids is this nineteen
- 36:55seventy six Tops Football Walter Peyton rookie card for the Chicago Bears. It has
- 37:02been professionally graded to be in mint condition, and this listing goes to the
- 37:07one of you who bids closest to the final sale price without going over.
- 37:12We will start at ten thousand dollars and bid in one hundred dollars increments and
- 37:16start with Stevian Augie. It's gonna be up there. Yeah, start start
- 37:23already. Cut the ten thousand and a half ten thousand, five hundred do
- 37:27you think? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, ten thousand, five hundred,
- 37:30ten to five over to CJ Water Peyton mint condition. You said it was
- 37:36a rookie card, are yes? I did? I'll go twelve twelve thousand.
- 37:47Over to Stevian Augie. What do you think? Eighteen eighteen thousand dollars?
- 37:58Back to CJ. I'll go twenty twenty grand. Back to Stevian Augie
- 38:06twenty one six, twenty one thousand, six hundred. Back to CJ.
- 38:12I remember whish I remember what his record was in yards, because I bet
- 38:15it's close to that number, because it's he's got over twenty thousand cards.
- 38:21Well, I'm sorry? What was what was their bit? Again? I
- 38:22apologize? Uh, twelve thousand, six hundred. I thought it was twenty
- 38:29oh sorry, twenty one six. Dyslexic moment, very dyslexic. Okay,
- 38:32we all are Was it twenty thousand already? Yeah? Yeah, I was
- 38:37not paying attention. Twenty one six. He's just like a final bit.
- 38:42It's genuinely too hot in here, and I'm starting to lose consciousness, so
- 38:45let's move along. What do you think? Sorry? Twenty three five,
- 38:52twenty three five. Back to Stevian Augie, twenty six, twenty six grand,
- 39:01Back to CJ. What the heck? Uh? Twenty seven five,
- 39:20twenty seven five? Back to Stevie and AUGI twenty nine fuck it, just
- 39:27do twenty nine twenty nine back to CJW. How like how how thirty five?
- 39:36Thirty five one thousand dollars back to Stevie and thirty seven for a cardboard
- 39:50pause Aaron, Well, Stevie was eyeballowing me down. He's like waiting to
- 39:54hear it. Thirty seven thousand. I will now call for final bid.
- 40:01Shit, CJ. The last bid was thirty seven thousand. You can stick
- 40:07on thirty five if you wish now, I'll go forty forty flat. Forty
- 40:15flat, okay, forty thousand dollars flat. You guys, Stevian Augie,
- 40:20you can stick on thirty seven thousand, or you can overbid his forty.
- 40:23You gotta stick. Yeah, we're gonna stay. You're gonna stay. Yeap
- 40:28okay, So Steve and Augus say thirty seven thousand, and CJ says forty
- 40:32grand the actual final sale price of this item on eBay forty one thousand,
- 40:40six hundred. Cj wins all three listings. I'm just like, we have
- 40:50an opportunity to overbid, but there's no way. It was three grand more
- 40:52already like a call final bit. It shouldn't No, Sorry, I didn't
- 41:00think I didn't think cards were still getting that kind of value if I'm being
- 41:04honest, Like I know, they've dropped substantially though, since then, like
- 41:12fighters and whatnot. All right, baseball, card thieves baseball, But that
- 41:21doesn't you know? All right? Well, CJ has won this game as
- 41:27well. He has three episode points at this point. The best that our
- 41:31dream team can do is tie him. But they'll have that chance. They
- 41:36could very well do it. We're gonna find out. We're gonna play game
- 41:39three for three episode points right after this. Hey there, I'm dated the
- 41:54host of Beer in Front. Sometimes the beer in front of you is the
- 42:00best one yet. I'll talk about some old school beers that maybe you've forgotten
- 42:05about, some new beers that have the potential to be a classic. I'll
- 42:09also talk to various people around the beer world and get their stories all about
- 42:15beer. That's Beer in Front and it's available on all of your favorite podcast
- 42:22apps. Hey man, welcome back. It is time for game three.
- 42:43Game three is worth three episode points, and we're going to play the rules
- 42:47of the game. Oh freaking sweet. While now you all know how the
- 42:53rules of the game work, yo, CJU, I read it, but
- 43:01I don't have it in front of me, yes, No, that's incorrect.
- 43:06The correct answer was no, you have no idea how this game works.
- 43:08I know how this whole thing happens, so if I'm being honest,
- 43:13So the way this game works is we're just going to start playing and they
- 43:17have no idea what the hell they're doing, and hopefully they'll figure it out
- 43:22as they go. Now, there's a couple of different ways to win this
- 43:24one, and it depends on the game. Really. In this case,
- 43:28you can win by guessing the rules of the game. If at any time
- 43:31you think you know what the rules of the game are, you can shout
- 43:36your own name. That's how you buzz in. And once someone does that,
- 43:40I will ask them what they think the rules of the game are.
- 43:44If they're correct, they instantly win for their team and get three episode points.
- 43:49If they're wrong, it's fine, they keep playing, but they can
- 43:53no longer guess the rules of the game. You get one shot at it.
- 43:57That's it, one shot for instant win. Now, with this game,
- 44:01there is a second way to instant win, and is to fulfill whatever
- 44:06that win condition is. Otherwise you're just gonna play for points and if nobody
- 44:12guesses and nobody finds the wing condition by a certain point, I will call
- 44:15the end of the game, and at that point, whichever team has the
- 44:19most points will win. Okay, so we're just gonna start playing. Uh,
- 44:24Stevie and Aggie, you lost the last two games in a row.
- 44:30Would you like to go first or second? Man? I mean, this
- 44:32game's easy. Basically gives us a prompt and then we give a response.
- 44:37This so we can go first, all right, whenever you're ready, gentlemen,
- 44:45taco bell. I think I will ask for one point. Okay,
- 44:55okay, okay, okay, I will my bell. That's you're going to
- 45:00taco. Uh invalid? Uh c J. So I just have to I
- 45:14have to just say something random. Okay, yesterday invalid steviean Augie six invalid?
- 45:32Uh c J. Fucking clue, what's happening? Sorry? Say that
- 45:45again? The are you saying? Steam? Yes? Okay invalid Stevie and
- 45:52AUGI, Yes invalid, c J falls invalid, Stevie and a blue invalid
- 46:10c J. The square root of pie times three very invalid, TV and
- 46:21Mark invalid c J. Yeah Action movie invalid Stevi and yeah yeah yeah invalid
- 46:47J. Summertime invalid Stevie and a bear invalid c J smoke, oh invalid
- 47:07Stevie and a polar invalid c J. One final guest. Before I give
- 47:15you all hints, you clearly desperately need summer summer invalid. Here's the hint
- 47:24for everybody. Try giving me an individual letter. The one thing we didn't
- 47:32do. A A zero points, CJ are zero points Stevie and A zero
- 47:49points CJ act zero points Stepian Why I don't know, but zero points CJ
- 48:00T zero points steviean ay N that's worth one point, okay J to make
- 48:13my friends in Sydney happy. Z zero points Stevie and Aggy are zero points,
- 48:24J as zero points Stevie and A was oh zero points J. I'd
- 48:36like to buy an E zero points Stevie and A L zero points j B
- 48:45as a boy zero points Steve and J zero points c J okay zero points
- 48:54Stevie and I is worth one point J Yeah, I'm just thinking mm hm
- 49:10H zero points Stevie and A F zero points c J. You zero Stevie
- 49:25and is in delta zero points c J. I think I don't remember if
- 49:31this was said, but G zero points Stevian aug t zero points. C
- 49:39J Yeah, I'm just trying to think of the two letters of God points
- 49:47and how that means something. I'm kind of doc oh uh, zero points.
- 50:00One more guest from each of you before I give you another hint.
- 50:02Stevie and Ay we desperately need. W is worth three points, c J
- 50:22zero points. Here's your hint. You can give an answer you've already given,
- 50:27or that an opponent has given. Stevie and age and is worth another
- 50:32point. Steve, Stevie, we're playing a hangman. I don't have to
- 50:38go more, and we're spelling wining. That is incorrect. Sorry, those
- 50:50are not the rules of the all right, So that was Stevie and AUGI
- 50:59had just gotten a point. So back to c J the W W is
- 51:04worth one Steve and mm hmm r R is worth zero points. C J
- 51:15T T is worth zero points. Stevian I is worth a point, c
- 51:24J H b E is worth zero points. C S S is worth zero
- 51:45points. Should be writing this down. A is worth zero points. Steve
- 51:54and V is worth zero points. C J oh hello is worth zero points.
- 52:05P P is worth zero points, c J h H is worth zero
- 52:15points. Stevian W is worth three points. How is it? I got
- 52:21one when I said it? Like, that's what CJ? Back to you,
- 52:29fucking W seems to be the moneymaker. I'll sort that out there again.
- 52:32W is worth one point, Stevie, and W W is worth one
- 52:49point. What is happening? What is happening? CJ? What I thought
- 52:57it was for sure? Uh? Oh ship why good question? But zero
- 53:07points Stevie. I is worth one point, c J. I'll go back
- 53:17to T. T is zero points Stevie and AUGI N wins you the game?
- 53:23Congratulations? What happened? Stevie? I believe has figured out the rules
- 53:30of the game at this point. I could very well be wrong, but
- 53:34it was win win win. No, you just need you just needed to
- 53:37spell win. You just need to spell win. If you spelled it out
- 53:39of order, I would give you an extra two bonus points. I gave
- 53:44you an extra two bonus points if you spelled it out of order. But
- 53:45if you spelled it in order, you won the game. That's all I
- 53:50need. That's all you needed to do, was say W, I,
- 53:52N and c J starting strong with W. He ha the W first as
- 53:55opposed to you, guys, what would be end first? Twice in a
- 54:00row, never gave an eye, and I was like, oh, come
- 54:05on, I was willing him to do it. So good. That was
- 54:07a great rule. Well, congratulations to see me and Augie for winning that
- 54:12game and winning three points. You have tied the game, which means it
- 54:20ends in a draw. Nobody wins. Unbelievable. Unbelievable, you two just
- 54:36bullshit, we still win? What the fuck? I'm so sorry. No
- 54:50Wayne is getting to hang out with you three and play games and be goofy.
- 54:53Really right. I don't think Aaron shares that sentiment. I very much
- 55:00so he voluntarily comes back every week. You must share it somewhere deep deep
- 55:06within my pace. So good. I can't believe that happens. He's still
- 55:15losing his mind. The chances, the chances is that, like nobody predicted
- 55:22it. I mean, well you said it, but nobody predicted it.
- 55:24It'd be funny. It's not gonna happen. I literally said, my watch
- 55:28us win. Okay, well you didn't have. Nobody won. Nobody won.
- 55:34Actually, so tactically we all lost. Yeah, we all lost.
- 55:39Everybody loses. CJ's never ending quest continues yet again. I'm oh forty seven
- 55:49and one now that's I don't know if it's forty seven, but still it's
- 55:55it's it's oh whatever. And one he has the tides better than the just
- 56:00oh and forty seven. So you know, I'm trying to be mister Brightside
- 56:07here. But as always, as always, CJ, we've had a ton
- 56:10of fun with you. We all always have a ton of fun with you.
- 56:15Thank you so much for coming. And I hope this means you'll have
- 56:17to you'll just have to keep coming back. Until he was doing it by
- 56:22myself, clearly that wasn't the answer. I think these two are more primed
- 56:30for rules of the game. I think choosing that game was the mistake on
- 56:32my part. If if I, if I had been if I'd been biased
- 56:37enough to want you to win, which I part of me was legitimately cheering
- 56:40you on because I really wanted you to guess that eye and then I'll be
- 56:45like, oh, he's just one away. Well, they were like ten
- 56:50points ahead of you, Like you weren't going to catch them on points No,
- 56:52I realized. I was like, if he could get the wut the
- 56:54I and then the end he'd be golden. YEP. I would have well,
- 57:00like here's here's what I Actually, I thought I had lost when when
- 57:04he guessed hangman. But then when you made him also guess the word.
- 57:09You know, that's that. Let you just just spelling win. That's all
- 57:15you were doing. Uh and uh, yeah, that's that's It was a
- 57:20good idea because it was it was I figured it was a good idea because
- 57:22it was simple enough that you wouldn't like outright guess that right, because I
- 57:25was got to be a complex it's gotta be hangman or something. It was.
- 57:31It was a very it was a very good game. It was very
- 57:35fun. We have had a lot of laughs along the way, as we
- 57:37always do with CJ. So thank you so much. Uh, let's wrap
- 57:40it up, CJ. What do you want to plug? What do you
- 57:43want people to know about? What do you want them to go listen to
- 57:45and hang out with while you're yeah and stuff? Yeah, hang out with
- 57:52me on radio waves, as you mentioned at the top of the show,
- 57:54Thursday and Saturday Radio dot co dot UK Radio Dash airwaves. I don't know.
- 58:01I actually dash fair enough radio dashairwaves dot co dot uk every Thursday and
- 58:08Saturday from nine to midnight. We do different things every Saturday every Thursday the
- 58:15thing I call Random Request Radio, where I take your requests and I play
- 58:17whatever my ran My playlist comes up and shuffle in the categories of rock,
- 58:22goth metal, and industrial. I've started a new feature on the show that
- 58:27Smoke has seen, where every Saturday I'm on camera, so if you come
- 58:31to the Saturday show, you can actually watch me do the show, which
- 58:37is interesting, fun and apparently casting the need for some cold showers in Sydney,
- 58:42but we'll talk about that at a different times. I don't know why
- 58:46because I'm wearing clothes so it's nothing like that. But yeah, that's what
- 58:55I'm told I I but yeah, check out the show. I love doing
- 59:01it. I love being on the air playing music for everybody. We got
- 59:04a lot of cool things Tonight's obviously people will hear this after the fact.
- 59:07With Tonight's a Saturday concert series or once a month that take people to a
- 59:12concert. We do a live concert album. We're doing that tonight, and
- 59:15I'll share with you all that. It's a prelimb too. Next month's Woodstock
- 59:21Special Part two, so we're doing the Family Values Tour and Slipknot tonight.
- 59:27The next month will be part two of our Woodstock special. So that'll be
- 59:30fun and yeah, just hang out with us. The other thing, if
- 59:35I could just for ten more seconds, is plugged that we need. We
- 59:38need DJs. If you think you want to be a radio DJ, we
- 59:44need DJs for the station for radioay waves. It doesn't cost anything technically,
- 59:50unless we want to buy the software, although we have ways we can help
- 59:52you with that. Otherwise it's free. It just takes time and a music
