- 2:35SPEAKER_00: You know what a lot of people,
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: organizational leaders,
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: experts on leadership like John Maxwell,
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: what they call leaders,
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: I call a customer success master simply because customer success masters,
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: individuals,
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: do not see themselves as leaders simply because they do not have direct reports.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: But that's okay.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: They're still leaders.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: And you know,
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: the ones that really last,
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: the ones that are adding significance and have deep sustainability,
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: They do more than just react to shifting cultures.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: They base their customer success mastery on timeless and universal principles.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: They remain relevant because they marry cultural context,
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: what's going on right now, to timeless truth.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Biblical wisdom.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: And these verses in Proverbs 4 encourages us to be centered on biblical principles.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: And verses 20 through 27 in particular teach us
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: that God's principles give us three crucial tools.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Number one, they guide us.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: They help us to stay on the right path.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Number two, they're a guard.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: They protect our hearts and bodies.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Number three, they're a gauge.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: They enable us to evaluate where we are.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: I'm a firm believer that all of us should consume God's Word daily.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Read the chapter of Proverbs that matches the day.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: And then ask the Holy Spirit, what are you telling me?
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And then go forth and put those truths into action so that you'll realize
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: that they form the principles of guiding, guarding, engaging your life.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Today's Customer Success Code.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Let God's Word be your guide for decisions.
