Transcript
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It is Tuesday. It
- 0:17Speaker 1: is TLC Tuesday. I am here with Kimberly. We are
- 0:22Speaker 1: maybe together riding the struggle bus, but we are here.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We are here for you and your TLC enjoyment.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Yes, yes, okay, you're just like, I'm like, who, which
- 0:38Speaker 2: couple are we doing? First?
- 0:42Speaker 1: How was your Yellow Jackets Bonanza blowouts? Uh?
- 0:46Speaker 2: It was good and long hours, three hours, a bunch
- 0:53Speaker 2: of guests. We had Rebecca and Kevin from Crime Writers
- 0:57Speaker 2: on and these of their stories, and we had Amy
- 1:00Speaker 2: and Amanda from the Listenycap, and we had Keisha, and
- 1:04Speaker 2: we had Sarah from Crime Scene. So what are very fun?
- 1:09Speaker 2: And then I realized after I forgot all these people,
- 1:11Speaker 2: like there are other podcasts I know that watched the
- 1:14Speaker 2: show and I forgot. But Katie can't sit there that long.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Katie gets so antsy she can't.
- 1:19Speaker 1: But you also can't include every single person when it's like,
- 1:23Speaker 1: if you were doing it, if you were really like dedicated,
- 1:25Speaker 1: we're doing it week to week, then you could include everybody.
- 1:28Speaker 1: But we're just doing it like every other There's no way, no,
- 1:31Speaker 1: there's no way. I'm glad I made the cut for
- 1:33Speaker 1: one episode.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and you were invited yesterday.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Okay, well it's okay, there's no there's an absolutely no way.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But I did log on when Keisha didn't log on
- 1:43Speaker 1: for our recording, I did log onto the YouTube live
- 1:46Speaker 1: to see her there to say that's where she is.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I know. And you were like yelling, you still my guest.
- 1:51Speaker 1: You still my guests? Give her to me. And when
- 1:54Speaker 1: we got on, she was like Amy and Amanda talk
- 1:56Speaker 1: too much. They took my slot. It's like there's so
- 2:01Speaker 1: much to talk about. Yeah, how did you feel? And guys,
- 2:05Speaker 1: if you haven't seen the end of Yellow Jackets, just
- 2:07Speaker 1: skip this part. How did you feel about the end
- 2:10Speaker 1: of it?
- 2:11Speaker 2: I was really into it. I really enjoyed it. Not
- 2:14Speaker 2: as much as season one, of course, but I still
- 2:17Speaker 2: I thought it was wild crazy. I'm excited for next season.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So so when Taisa mm hmm Barry's van, she didn't
- 2:34Speaker 1: report her to the authorities that she died or anything.
- 2:35Speaker 1: She just like rolls her into a hole and says
- 2:38Speaker 1: like that's what you do and then eats her heart.
- 2:41Speaker 1: How did you feel about that?
- 2:43Speaker 2: That is what they did with Hobby, and I think
- 2:46Speaker 2: it is showing it's the person's soul, you know. So
- 2:52Speaker 2: she wanted fan soul in her and inside of her
- 2:58Speaker 2: and all right, sure, respectful.
- 3:01Speaker 1: All right, Well we did see that on that movie.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Was it a river runs through it? Was that the
- 3:08Speaker 1: movie that the guys went off to war and the
- 3:10Speaker 1: one guy like maybe it wasn't It was a movie.
- 3:13Speaker 1: It was a war movie. Brad Pitt was in it.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And they do that when somebody m hmm, I think
- 3:21Speaker 1: it is a river runs through it because Brad.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Pitt are the brothers that's runs through it. That's the
- 3:28Speaker 2: fly fishing.
- 3:29Speaker 1: One, right. But I feel like in that movie Brad
- 3:34Speaker 1: Pitt learns from like the Native Americans that he's around
- 3:38Speaker 1: that when you kill something, no matter.
- 3:39Speaker 2: What legends of the fall, oh yes, when you kill something.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Falls for the lady.
- 3:46Speaker 2: He falls for the indigenous lady who was like a
- 3:50Speaker 2: child when he was a man. Yeah, and we go
- 3:56Speaker 2: it's not creepy at all because Brad Pitt, it's this sweet.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Well he does that he as a kid. That is
- 4:03Speaker 2: so sweet. That's so hot. He's so hot.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Well, same thing a little bit in interview with the Vampire,
- 4:09Speaker 1: right with Kirsten Dunks. Yeah, being twelve or one hundred,
- 4:12Speaker 1: not sure. Anyway, the point of in Legends of the
- 4:17Speaker 1: Fall not a river runs through it and a legend
- 4:19Speaker 1: Legends of the Fall, what the guy learns from his
- 4:23Speaker 1: Native American friend is that when something dies, whether it's
- 4:26Speaker 1: a squirrel or anything, you have to eat its heart
- 4:30Speaker 1: or take a bite of its heart to honor its death.
- 4:33Speaker 1: And so he does that, like in Vietnam, like his
- 4:36Speaker 1: brother falls and dies and he has to like every time.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of work.
- 4:43Speaker 1: It's a lot of a lot of eating of coins.
- 4:47Speaker 2: It's a lot. You know, you can get gout from
- 4:50Speaker 2: eating a lot of organ meats, but.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I don't know if you're uncooked.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't know if the heart is considered
- 4:58Speaker 2: one of those I think they mean like like liver
- 5:01Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 5:02Speaker 1: But either way, it was gross. And then I guess
- 5:05Speaker 1: we have to assume now that mean Taysa is back
- 5:08Speaker 1: to stay and nice Taysa has gone bye bye because.
- 5:12Speaker 2: She is I think the opposite.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Well, we don't know. Well I think that we don't know,
- 5:19Speaker 1: but I got the feeling that me and Taysa evil
- 5:21Speaker 1: Taysa is back, and because she and Missy decide they're
- 5:25Speaker 1: going to try to kill Shauna because she's the bad person, right.
- 5:30Speaker 2: But I think when she went on that Goonies quest
- 5:34Speaker 2: that the whole point of that was to bring out
- 5:38Speaker 2: good Taysa and to get rid of bad Taysa for good.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I don't know what Goony's quests you speak of.
- 5:44Speaker 2: You needs to rewatch.
- 5:47Speaker 1: She goes on a Goonies quest.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Van, the teenage Van is very complicated.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Okay, okay, don't tell me, I'll figure it out. Well.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I liked the ending. I liked the ending with Natalie
- 6:01Speaker 1: on the top of the mountain. I liked it. Yeah,
- 6:04Speaker 1: it made me hope. They give me hope, and I
- 6:06Speaker 1: hope that will be all of season four.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's one of our things we were debating is
- 6:12Speaker 2: how much When are they going to get rescued.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's got to be like a week. And also
- 6:19Speaker 1: everybody's there in the snow and Natalie goes up to
- 6:22Speaker 1: a mountain and there's no snow, which made no sense
- 6:26Speaker 1: because generally if it's snowing, snow up there. Oh it
- 6:29Speaker 1: looked to me just like a gorgeous No.
- 6:32Speaker 2: No, there was snow.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, well, listen, pray for their return. We've been
- 6:38Speaker 1: praying for three seasons. We're not here to talk about that.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And we're here to talk about ninety Day Fiance Season eleven,
- 6:45Speaker 1: episode nine and how Deep is Your Love? And I
- 6:47Speaker 1: would sing for you, guys, but the voice won't have it.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And also I appreciate your ears.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Way too much, thank you. I appreciate that.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Here's going to be the order, Kimberly, Just so you know,
- 6:59Speaker 1: we're going to do Chicaina and Souper, Mark and Mina,
- 7:03Speaker 1: the Throupple, Greg and Joan, Stevie and Maddie and Sean
- 7:11Speaker 1: and Aliah heavy on the Mary Pain this week. All right,
- 7:13Speaker 1: So that's good for you because I know you're exhausted.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah, just relax, just just my tig a little snooze.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Please, don't I need you? Please? Don't? She Kinda and
- 7:24Speaker 1: Supper we start out and these two are going to
- 7:27Speaker 1: meet Sophie, her daughter, for the first time, and she
- 7:30Speaker 1: kind of says he has one time to make a
- 7:33Speaker 1: good first impression. Well, he's already made a bad first
- 7:35Speaker 1: impression on her family, we know. So he's outside and
- 7:38Speaker 1: apparently he's working on his stand up routine. He's got
- 7:41Speaker 1: a new joke. He's working out. I'm not going to
- 7:44Speaker 1: torture you with the jokes we had to hear, okay,
- 7:47Speaker 1: but it's like understand them totally, like Simon, am I right? Yeah?
- 7:52Speaker 2: It was, it was very much right.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I didn't understand the Hannibal elect one at all.
- 8:00Speaker 1: What was that? Like?
- 8:01Speaker 2: Is he talking? What is this that he's talking about?
- 8:03Speaker 1: This? Oh? I think that he meant the mask. The
- 8:07Speaker 1: flipping up of the mask of the handle later made
- 8:09Speaker 1: me think.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I think I got confused because in one of the
- 8:11Speaker 2: Hannibal Elector movies, but not Silence of the Lambs, he
- 8:16Speaker 2: takes a guy's scalp off and then.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Like, oh, well, maybe that's it.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Takes the brain. But I but it wasn't Silence of
- 8:23Speaker 2: the Lambs, which was his joke was about silence anyway,
- 8:26Speaker 2: it doesn't matter. But I don't know if it's translating.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I find him funny sometimes sometimes, but we know him
- 8:35Speaker 2: from the show. I'm trying to imagine like a group
- 8:39Speaker 2: of people at the laugh Factory who have never seen
- 8:41Speaker 2: ninety Day.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Uh huh, yeah, I agree. It would be very strange.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You would be like, what is this like? Borat is
- 8:48Speaker 1: it supposed to be funny? Is it not supposed to
- 8:50Speaker 1: be funny. It is he in on the joke? Is
- 8:52Speaker 1: he not in on the joke that he's the joke?
- 8:55Speaker 1: You know?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah? And then it brings me back to that lady
- 8:57Speaker 2: from Love after lock Up who tried stand up in
- 9:00Speaker 2: her like orange jumpsuit.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Right, and she had disco cardionesia whatever the hell that was,
- 9:06Speaker 1: and we couldn't figure out what kind of disorder she had,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and that was a topic conversation. So he says, I
- 9:13Speaker 1: love the stage. I danced for seven years. It was
- 9:16Speaker 1: a hobby. I like the attention, and I always had
- 9:19Speaker 1: a dream of being a stand up talking to she
- 9:21Speaker 1: kind of is like, yeah, I don't want people to
- 9:24Speaker 1: laugh at him, like for the wrong reasons, because he's
- 9:27Speaker 1: funny when he's not being scripted. But he's just funny
- 9:30Speaker 1: naturally not being a stand up. Now we do know
- 9:33Speaker 1: in real time he's doing dancing, laughing exercise classes, laugh
- 9:37Speaker 1: and dance, Chloe, Is that what it is? Yeah, like
- 9:43Speaker 1: kick to the left, kick to the right, ha ha ha, Yeah,
- 9:47Speaker 1: that's what it is. Dance dance, dance class that's laughed.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Okay, so well, and you're no listeners that are going
- 9:55Speaker 2: so you're gonna.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm dying. I don't know. Kristen the producer, Mike go.
- 10:01Speaker 1: I was like, please put that thirty two dollars on
- 10:04Speaker 1: my tab, please go. So they head off to see
- 10:08Speaker 1: Sophie and he's bringing a blanket for Sophie. They're going
- 10:12Speaker 1: whale watching. He's super nervous to meet her and he's
- 10:15Speaker 1: talking head. He says, in Turkey they have sang, they
- 10:18Speaker 1: say done or none, so it's up to me. I
- 10:21Speaker 1: felt so anxious. That wasn't one of the best turkey say.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I liked the Yeah he's got the chicken and I'm
- 10:31Speaker 2: just the boobs.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And fucked the cock and yeah. Yeah. So they meet
- 10:36Speaker 1: up and she comes up and he's like, oh, oh,
- 10:38Speaker 1: she's so pretty. You're so pretty. He's like thanks. Talking
- 10:41Speaker 1: to Sophie, says, you know, I want to get to
- 10:43Speaker 1: know him as a person, and I want to make
- 10:45Speaker 1: sure like he treats my mom with respect. And I
- 10:48Speaker 1: don't know with some of the things he says, maybe
- 10:50Speaker 1: that communication of some of those words is lost, but
- 10:53Speaker 1: he could just use common sense. I just think specifically
- 10:56Speaker 1: she's referring to when he called dr a slut and
- 10:59Speaker 1: a bitch. Yeah, yeah, that was all right.
- 11:01Speaker 2: So there's no better way to get to know someone
- 11:04Speaker 2: than sitting on a boat that is so loud that
- 11:07Speaker 2: you can't talk, and then also going to lunch or
- 11:10Speaker 2: something after.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Check with everyone that's going if they get seasick, because
- 11:16Speaker 1: it's a real thing for people. So so they go
- 11:20Speaker 1: up to the front of the boat always about and
- 11:24Speaker 1: they're getting sprayed and it seems chaotic, and they're like,
- 11:27Speaker 1: we don't know, you know, So everybody starts to get seasick.
- 11:29Speaker 1: He pulls out a bark bag. He's the first one
- 11:31Speaker 1: to barf, and it's funny.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Well, on Reddit we're analyzing was he really barfing? Like
- 11:38Speaker 2: I didn't hear a sound I didn't.
- 11:40Speaker 1: See you couldn't have heard it.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Like I didn't see any mouth, the mouth gesture was
- 11:44Speaker 2: not right, Like you guys have too much time on
- 11:48Speaker 2: your hands.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And also he maybe even if he wasn't barking, he
- 11:51Speaker 1: was at least dry heaving, you know. So she's like, oh,
- 11:57Speaker 1: poor baby and stuff. You guys, that's grass, and Sarper
- 12:01Speaker 1: goes to Chicina and says, hello, don't let me organize
- 12:04Speaker 1: anything ever again. Also, don't mind my breath.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I know you ever coming.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I do think it was kind of fake, but
- 12:11Speaker 1: it was funny, and he goes, let's pretend this day
- 12:14Speaker 1: never happened. We start over tomorrow like we never met.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Nice to meet you. They all kind of laugh about it,
- 12:19Speaker 1: and in the talking Eddie says, it was so terrible.
- 12:21Speaker 1: From now on, when Sophie sees me, she sees whale face, she.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Sees whale face. I mean, it was a bad idea.
- 12:29Speaker 2: It was very sweet to try, but it.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Was always wanted to go whale watching. And I don't
- 12:34Speaker 1: get like that.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I don't usually, but I did this last summer when
- 12:40Speaker 2: we went well watching. I didn't throw up, but I
- 12:44Speaker 2: was so nauseous, and I got it. I finally got it.
- 12:48Speaker 2: That was the first time I got Really, it's bad.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Everyone was barfing. You just looked around and it was
- 12:53Speaker 2: like fire fire fire, and we didn't see any Why else,
- 12:57Speaker 2: damn it? I like some sea lions or something.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Who cares. We've seen it up be rolling if.
- 13:03Speaker 2: You sea lion, where's your whale friend for a sea
- 13:08Speaker 2: lion tour?
- 13:10Speaker 1: It's too bad that everybody was barfing and then you
- 13:12Speaker 1: didn't even see whales.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I know they offer you like a partial refund so
- 13:17Speaker 2: you can come back again and five thousand emails for
- 13:21Speaker 2: the next couple of months use your thing, And I'm like,
- 13:25Speaker 2: it just makes me think about barfing.
- 13:28Speaker 1: They need to get like a heavier, bigger boat that
- 13:31Speaker 1: wouldn't feel the waves so much, you know, solve that problem.
- 13:37Speaker 1: So now were.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Away the whales. Though, well that's true, how that works?
- 13:43Speaker 1: I don't either. You guys, we're not.
- 13:45Speaker 2: We don't know, ye.
- 13:48Speaker 1: So they get on land and we get the Halio course,
- 13:51Speaker 1: which is kind of funny. Leelujah lah. Yeah. They're doing
- 13:57Speaker 1: the course when they go to land, which was funny,
- 14:00Speaker 1: which must be royalty free music or very cheap to get.
- 14:03Speaker 1: And he tells her, you know, I'm so sorry for
- 14:07Speaker 1: this day. I know first impression is super important. I
- 14:10Speaker 1: know that this wasn't so great. And he says, you know,
- 14:13Speaker 1: when I met some of your family. She goes, my
- 14:16Speaker 1: aunt Shariah. He goes, yeah, when I met other members
- 14:20Speaker 1: of your family, I had different mindset at that time.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I didn't care what she thought. She was like, you
- 14:25Speaker 1: didn't care what she thought? He's like, no, I just
- 14:27Speaker 1: was different mindset. Again, he's not explaining it correctly, but
- 14:30Speaker 1: he's sort of like, no, I didn't give it.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Sure he did an okay job. I think she understood
- 14:35Speaker 2: what he meant.
- 14:36Speaker 1: And soeff he says, well, you know, maybe it'll take
- 14:38Speaker 1: a little time, but if you could prove yourself to
- 14:41Speaker 1: my family, that would make a better impression on me.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And I know you probably like want me to tell
- 14:46Speaker 1: you that, like I support it and everything, but I
- 14:48Speaker 1: think I need a little time here to think about it.
- 14:50Speaker 1: And he says, I will do my best with your family.
- 14:53Speaker 1: You will see. It will take time. And talking to he
- 14:56Speaker 1: had stuff, he goes, it's good that it seems that
- 14:58Speaker 1: he's changed, or that he's like trying to change, and
- 15:01Speaker 1: maybe it'll even get better than that. And I hope
- 15:03Speaker 1: he's sincere. I hope he's genuine. And he says, I
- 15:08Speaker 1: have to fix that relationship with her family and that
- 15:10Speaker 1: will affect how Sophie feels. Everyone has to approve me.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Everything is on me every day, new burden on my shoulders. Wow,
- 15:21Speaker 1: so dramatic, I know, like Imphis is Sisyphis, push rock
- 15:28Speaker 1: up Hill. Don't try to make a smart reference on me.
- 15:31Speaker 1: My brain is not not there, not there. Let us
- 15:36Speaker 1: move on to Mark and Mina.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Oh boy. So they fly down to Florida. They're still
- 15:43Speaker 2: not back going back to New Hampshire and uh to
- 15:47Speaker 2: visit with some friends, and uh, they are not going
- 15:51Speaker 2: to visit with Jordan, who lives in Florida because she's
- 15:54Speaker 2: still baby to an alligator or she's still involved in Yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 2: so they she thinks Florida is giving niece fives and
- 16:02Speaker 2: I was like, okay, yeah, sure, Uh that's generous. So
- 16:08Speaker 2: I mean they were in like a nice part of Florida.
- 16:11Speaker 1: They were like, oh oh yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Yeah, they were in a rich part. So he wants
- 16:15Speaker 2: her to meet his friend Diana, who was the ex
- 16:21Speaker 2: wife to his friend Philip. But more importantly than that,
- 16:25Speaker 2: Diana set him up with his ex girlfriend Jade Ergo.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Mina hates Diana because she is responsible for Jade, who
- 16:36Speaker 2: happened before Mina met her. So yeah, this is a
- 16:39Speaker 2: weird choice. It's a very weird choice. So she's just
- 16:44Speaker 2: so pissy about Diana, and I was thinking, like, does
- 16:46Speaker 2: she really love him or is she just a jealous person,
- 16:49Speaker 2: because she does seem to be like upset about Mina
- 16:53Speaker 2: and Jade. So they go to Diana's fancy clothing store
- 16:58Speaker 2: and Diana is gorgeous, where as poor Mina still looking
- 17:03Speaker 2: so rough since she landed in the States. She looked
- 17:06Speaker 2: so good in Paris, and the second she landed here, Yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 1: She wasn't prepared for the humidity and what American Greece
- 17:16Speaker 1: would do to her skin, in her hair. She was
- 17:18Speaker 1: not prepared for any of it. And she will be
- 17:21Speaker 1: because later on, later on, at the end of the episode,
- 17:23Speaker 1: when we see her leave, she does look way better.
- 17:25Speaker 2: She looks incredible at the end. Yeah, but right now,
- 17:29Speaker 2: humidity does not agree with her.
- 17:31Speaker 1: She's like, no, it's wrong there. It's rough.
- 17:34Speaker 2: It is it's rough out there for a Parisian lady.
- 17:37Speaker 2: So right away they get to the fancy store and
- 17:41Speaker 2: Diana says, oh, did you buy her a BMW? Because
- 17:46Speaker 2: apparently he bought Jordan a BMW and helped Jade get
- 17:53Speaker 2: a BMW. And so again we have another in Mark's
- 18:01Speaker 2: life putting her foot in her mouth in front of
- 18:03Speaker 2: Mina on purpose or not on purpose, but I think
- 18:07Speaker 2: on purpose.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Everything Diana did was on purpose.
- 18:10Speaker 2: They are she's a saboteur. This is not a no,
- 18:15Speaker 2: just like Jordan, who was like, oh did you getting
- 18:18Speaker 2: the prenap oh, I didn't mean to say anything. So
- 18:21Speaker 2: he says, what, no, I just I bought Jordan, I
- 18:25Speaker 2: helped jordans or I got Jordan a BMW. I helped
- 18:28Speaker 2: you get a BMW. I mean is like, where's mine?
- 18:31Speaker 2: And I give you a freaking baby.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Like you know. Yeah, He's like, hey, I have a
- 18:37Speaker 1: tiny airplane for you.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and Diana says, well, you can get a Maserati.
- 18:42Speaker 2: How about that something more expensive. She's like trying to
- 18:45Speaker 2: cover her mistake, but she's not really, so Diana says,
- 18:50Speaker 2: you know, I introduced my best friend Jade, who's very young,
- 18:54Speaker 2: to Mark and they hit it off and he bought
- 18:57Speaker 2: her a BMW. But it was very quick. It all
- 19:00Speaker 2: seemed like so quick to me, and I guess that's
- 19:03Speaker 2: how he shows his love to people. But he I
- 19:08Speaker 2: think he thinks because he's old, he has to like
- 19:10Speaker 2: lavish with gifts and that is his contribution. But also
- 19:17Speaker 2: how old was Jade from these photos because she looks
- 19:20Speaker 2: to be like twenty five and I know this happened earlier, but.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Diana says, she was very young. And I mean
- 19:26Speaker 1: Mina's thirty five.
- 19:27Speaker 2: So yeah, So the baby starts crying and Diana's like, okay,
- 19:33Speaker 2: I don't eat your crying, sticky child, ruining the fancy
- 19:36Speaker 2: vibe in my you know, flashy store. So why don't
- 19:40Speaker 2: she take her for ice cream next door? I'll talk
- 19:43Speaker 2: to Mina. I'm going to ruin this relationship real good.
- 19:46Speaker 2: How long are you going to be gone?
- 19:47Speaker 1: Get it?
- 19:48Speaker 2: Get a double scoop so I have more time to
- 19:50Speaker 2: ruin your relationship. So Diana is like, I'm so glad
- 19:54Speaker 2: we're getting to meet. I had my reservations. I wasn't
- 19:57Speaker 2: sure if he was ready to date because when he
- 20:00Speaker 2: at you right away, he said you remind him of Jade.
- 20:04Speaker 2: He called me and said, I met this woman that's
- 20:06Speaker 2: exactly like Jade. Terrible and yeah, and he moved so
- 20:12Speaker 2: fast with Jade. He was devastated when they broke up.
- 20:16Speaker 2: And then he went to Paris and he met you
- 20:18Speaker 2: and then called and said, I met someone just like Jade.
- 20:21Speaker 2: So she's baking. It sounds she's she shouldn't be telling
- 20:25Speaker 2: any of this to Mina, Like, no, this is insane.
- 20:30Speaker 2: She shouldn't be telling any of this to us or
- 20:32Speaker 2: to Mina.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Oh God, really bad.
- 20:34Speaker 2: So she like, but part of me appreciates the girl
- 20:38Speaker 2: code of it, I guess. And she's not loyal at
- 20:41Speaker 2: all to Mark, who is supposed to be her friend,
- 20:43Speaker 2: which I also find kind of funny that she's supposed
- 20:48Speaker 2: to be his friend and she's totally like, he's a jerk.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Get out of this girl.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah, woman's a woman. Run walk away. Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 2: So she's like she's telling this to Mina and she says,
- 21:00Speaker 2: you know, if I think if he hadn't broken up
- 21:02Speaker 2: with Jade, he would have asked her to marry him.
- 21:06Speaker 2: And Mina's just like getting sweatier and sweatier, and her
- 21:11Speaker 2: hair is getting like more and more poofy, and she's
- 21:14Speaker 2: just like, it's it's all that where you start to
- 21:17Speaker 2: feel hot when you're hearing something that you don't like
- 21:19Speaker 2: to hear, and you like, actually your temperature starts rising.
- 21:22Speaker 2: You're like cooking from the inside.
- 21:24Speaker 1: And it does look like she also that sounds like menopausital.
- 21:27Speaker 1: But she it does look like she buys something.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Oh for sure, at the store.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Oh she buys a lot, but not yet. So she
- 21:38Speaker 2: she's just like, no, I don't think she's mad at
- 21:40Speaker 2: the friend. I don't think she's mad, Diana, I think.
- 21:43Speaker 1: She's mad at Mark, very mad at Mark.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah, so She's like she and also but again like
- 21:52Speaker 2: I don't I don't like Mina. I can't believe we're
- 21:54Speaker 2: rooting for Mina this whole season, like we really are.
- 21:58Speaker 2: And that was very surprising right away first episode we
- 22:01Speaker 2: thought we're gonna hate this bitch. And yeah, well she
- 22:05Speaker 2: keep she keeps being put in the situation, these situations
- 22:08Speaker 2: where these women are like putting there, like embarrassing her
- 22:13Speaker 2: basically yes, and telling her horrible things.
- 22:16Speaker 1: And again, Mark, how is Mark getting all these women?
- 22:19Speaker 2: I know? So Diana's like, keeps talking, keeps talking, and
- 22:25Speaker 2: I was like, why doesn't she ask her about the
- 22:27Speaker 2: pre nup?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Next?
- 22:29Speaker 2: Are you going to sign the Prina? Are you gonna
- 22:31Speaker 2: have more kids? I think I should get to control
- 22:34Speaker 2: whether you have more kids or not as the store owner.
- 22:38Speaker 2: So also, this is not the way to make a
- 22:40Speaker 2: big sale. Do you work on commission? So big mistake.
- 22:45Speaker 2: So Nina asks, She's like, so I know they broke
- 22:48Speaker 2: up Mark and Jade. Why did they break up? And
- 22:54Speaker 2: she goes, oh, well, he had moved her into his
- 22:58Speaker 2: Florida home because he owns a house in Florida. And
- 23:02Speaker 2: Mina's like, no, no, he told me he never lived
- 23:05Speaker 2: with Jade, and Diana's like, no, that's not true. They
- 23:10Speaker 2: were dating for like a month a month and he
- 23:14Speaker 2: moved her and her son into his Florida house. Uh oh,
- 23:19Speaker 2: And Mina's like, okay, so what happened? Why did they
- 23:22Speaker 2: break up? And like he told me, Jade was a
- 23:25Speaker 2: brat and she didn't want to move to New Hampshire
- 23:27Speaker 2: and that's why they broke up. And Diana says, well,
- 23:31Speaker 2: that was part of it, but really she found out
- 23:34Speaker 2: that he was talking to other girls. She went on
- 23:37Speaker 2: his computer and saw that he was talking to other
- 23:40Speaker 2: girls when she was moved in with him. And Diana's like,
- 23:44Speaker 2: you know, I'm sorry, girl, but if you're going to
- 23:46Speaker 2: marry him, you need to know I And then I
- 23:50Speaker 2: was like, okay, she's she has an agenda. This is
- 23:55Speaker 2: not like full on girl code. This is either her
- 23:58Speaker 2: stirring shit up, the producer's telling her to say stuff,
- 24:03Speaker 2: or maybe a tiny bit girl code. And then Diana
- 24:08Speaker 2: tells us She's like, I thought Mina knew all this.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I didn't mean to tell her anything that she didn't know.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I was like, yes, you did, because she asked you
- 24:17Speaker 2: why did they break up, which means she didn't know,
- 24:19Speaker 2: and what do we do with dia shocked expressions on
- 24:23Speaker 2: her face and you kept talking.
- 24:25Speaker 1: But we don't know if Diana and Jade were like
- 24:27Speaker 1: friends and she's kind of doing this to avenge her friend,
- 24:30Speaker 1: or if Jay just sort of worked at the shop
- 24:32Speaker 1: and she's like, oh, I have a girl you could
- 24:33Speaker 1: go out with.
- 24:34Speaker 2: He says, like my best friend or something. But we
- 24:37Speaker 2: don't know if they're still best friends. Maybe they had
- 24:39Speaker 2: a falling out or something, or maybe Jade is like,
- 24:44Speaker 2: go in ruin the relationship. Yeah, yeah, avenge me. So
- 24:50Speaker 2: Diana says, like, you think I'm done. You're listening to
- 24:54Speaker 2: this right now, and you're like, well, that surely is it.
- 24:57Speaker 2: She couldn't say anything worse. No, she she says, you know, Mina,
- 25:03Speaker 2: I think Jade was the one that got away.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It's terrible. Oh my god, I about one thing from her.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I know.
- 25:12Speaker 2: And then she says, you know, when you guys first
- 25:16Speaker 2: got together, he was still trying to win Jade back.
- 25:20Speaker 2: This is just horror. It's a horrible after horrible. It's
- 25:24Speaker 2: like a punch in the in Mina's sweaty face, over
- 25:27Speaker 2: and over again and like it's not stopping. So Diana said,
- 25:32Speaker 2: you know, I just thought this was so messed up
- 25:34Speaker 2: that he was doing this, and I told him, you
- 25:37Speaker 2: need to make a decision between the two ladies. Like
- 25:42Speaker 2: so Mina says, for five years, I thought I was
- 25:45Speaker 2: unique in this relationship, and I was a replacement this
- 25:49Speaker 2: whole time. And I'm not getting any younger. This has
- 25:52Speaker 2: been five years of my life. Yeah, and we have
- 25:55Speaker 2: a child together. She's just the sweat is just pouring.
- 25:59Speaker 2: And so Diana says, I think you should talk to Jade.
- 26:03Speaker 2: You can get some answers more than the devastating answers
- 26:08Speaker 2: I have already given you. Maybe you want to meet
- 26:11Speaker 2: her and get your heart completely shattered.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Well, it's very interesting that Mark would introduce Mina to Diana.
- 26:18Speaker 2: You open the door to this.
- 26:20Speaker 1: He really did. If he knew that there was so
- 26:23Speaker 1: much bad blood here, he would have never done that.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I think he really has been fooled that Diana was
- 26:28Speaker 1: his buddy and would like pup them up and talk
- 26:31Speaker 1: about how great he was.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Which is like how he thought the Paris trip went
- 26:35Speaker 2: really well for the baptism and everyone loved Mina and
- 26:40Speaker 2: Jordan loved Mina and no one was going to say
- 26:42Speaker 2: anything bad. And you're right, stupid, stupid fool Mark, you
- 26:48Speaker 2: have no idea what's happening.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Also, if you had had lies, which apparently you told lies,
- 26:56Speaker 2: then you needed to clear that up before you brought
- 27:00Speaker 2: Diana into the picture by saying I'm not saying like
- 27:04Speaker 2: to lie, but if you had led, tell Diana maybe
- 27:07Speaker 2: don't tell her right that that I was living with Jade.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Actually, just don't tell her anything about my past relationship,
- 27:15Speaker 1: just that you knew.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I just won't have her meet you. There are other
- 27:19Speaker 2: stores in Florida where you can buy her clothes.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Why don't we go see Jordan's. She's always nice.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Yeah. I think that that barbecue went great and nobody
- 27:30Speaker 2: died on the ferry, so let's do that. So Mina
- 27:35Speaker 2: is again like I gave up my life and my
- 27:37Speaker 2: son and my friends and French baggets and quote Sharper
- 27:43Speaker 2: and not to come here and get all these surprises.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Like they're not even surprises again, they're being like punched
- 27:51Speaker 2: in the face. They're just like, yeah, those are a surprise,
- 27:55Speaker 2: is like happy birthday. It's just like you had a
- 27:59Speaker 2: baby be with a cereal cheater and aw, that's a surprise. Yeah,
- 28:05Speaker 2: that's a surprise. This is like you are a replacement
- 28:09Speaker 2: for the woman he's still in love with, and he's
- 28:12Speaker 2: gonna start making you look dressed just like her. Style
- 28:16Speaker 2: of your hair like her, and wear your clothes like her,
- 28:19Speaker 2: and get you plastic surgery to look just like her.
- 28:22Speaker 2: So she's like, I can't believe I gave all this up.
- 28:26Speaker 2: And you know he's lied to me about things. Jordan
- 28:30Speaker 2: is a total snake. His house smells like old man farts,
- 28:34Speaker 2: Like why there's it's only old people? And Martini pat
- 28:38Speaker 2: back home, like what am I supposed to do? So
- 28:42Speaker 2: She's like, let me buy some clothes and maybe I'll
- 28:44Speaker 2: go buy a Mercedes too. I need some shopping. So
- 28:48Speaker 2: she's and Diana's like, yeah, let him pay. Let him
- 28:52Speaker 2: pay for this in my store. So she does try
- 28:56Speaker 2: on a bunch of clothes. She looks stunning, she looks banging.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I guess the kids would say she looks great. So
- 29:04Speaker 2: Mark comes by and Mina is sulking, and she's like,
- 29:07Speaker 2: you lie to me, and he's she's Mark goes, what.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Did she tell you?
- 29:14Speaker 2: Not?
- 29:14Speaker 1: No? I didn't, and it was like, wait, what did
- 29:16Speaker 1: she tell you? What did she tell you?
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Mina's yeah, which lie are we talking of? Exactly
- 29:22Speaker 2: which fled was revealed? So Mina says, you lived with
- 29:26Speaker 2: Jade and he says, well, I told you she lived
- 29:28Speaker 2: with me when I was in Florida, and he's chuckling,
- 29:31Speaker 2: like he does that laugh when he's like nervous thing
- 29:34Speaker 2: that's really really annoying. And Mina says, Diana told me
- 29:39Speaker 2: I'm a substitute for Jade. And he's like, what a.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Crazy thing to say? What a bitch? Yeah?
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and he says I never said you were the
- 29:50Speaker 2: same as Jade. And I was like, whose memory are
- 29:52Speaker 2: we supposed to believe here, Diana who is thirty, or
- 29:56Speaker 2: Mark who's sixty unless he's having Ginko biloba every single day.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I trust the younger one, just statistically, so, even though
- 30:07Speaker 2: she has a full on agenda and she could be
- 30:09Speaker 2: lying about all this, but I don't think she's lying,
- 30:12Speaker 2: because he's not. I don't think she's lying. So he says,
- 30:18Speaker 2: you know, it was a long time ago. I'm old.
- 30:20Speaker 2: I don't remember. I have a knee brace like I
- 30:22Speaker 2: have a plane, remember, and look, I propose to you.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I never proposed to Jade, and Mina says, because you
- 30:30Speaker 2: knew she never would accept and yeah, and Mark's like,
- 30:35Speaker 2: how am I always in trouble? I'm wearing a Hawaiian
- 30:38Speaker 2: print shirt. I should be having fun and playing golf,
- 30:41Speaker 2: and instead I'm just constantly getting yelled at by a woman.
- 30:45Speaker 2: And so we jump to her texting. We jump right ahead.
- 30:48Speaker 2: She's texting Jade. She wants to meet up, and Jade
- 30:51Speaker 2: says yes, and Mina dresses up fancy, she puts on makeup,
- 30:56Speaker 2: she's not sweating, she looks great. I take back all
- 30:59Speaker 2: the times made fun of how she was melting. So
- 31:02Speaker 2: Mark walked out, Shannon walked outside yet hasn't watch outside yet.
- 31:05Speaker 2: They were still in the air the air conditioning. So
- 31:08Speaker 2: she walks out and she's like, I'm going to meet Jade.
- 31:10Speaker 2: And Mark's like, well, I thought you were joking. Remember
- 31:13Speaker 2: how I was laughing before I thought this was all
- 31:16Speaker 2: a joke. And Mina says, I need to talk to her,
- 31:18Speaker 2: woman to woman to see if she's your sex friend
- 31:22Speaker 2: or what what? And Mark's like, fine, whatever, nobody believes me.
- 31:31Speaker 2: So and he's like playing with the baby, which was
- 31:33Speaker 2: very cute. He's cute with a baby.
- 31:35Speaker 1: It was.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Very cute. So Mina says, it seems like there are
- 31:40Speaker 2: two marks, Marks from the Mark from the States and
- 31:43Speaker 2: Mark in Paris and Mark Harmon from CSI and cis
- 31:48Speaker 2: whichever show. So she's like, I don't know which Mark
- 31:52Speaker 2: I am marrying and which Mark I had a baby with.
- 31:55Speaker 2: So she goes to meet Jade and she says, if
- 31:59Speaker 2: Ja confirms that Mark lied to me about things, I
- 32:02Speaker 2: will leave a man lies to me once he lies
- 32:05Speaker 2: to me for life. I thought that was very That
- 32:08Speaker 2: was like a r right, huh. And then we see
- 32:14Speaker 2: a close up on Jade's booty in very tight jeans
- 32:18Speaker 2: walking up.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Interesting, it's interesting to Jade had a son. She has
- 32:23Speaker 1: a son, like, it does similar.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I mean the side by side they do look similar.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I wouldn't say they look like twins or anything, but
- 32:33Speaker 2: they look they have the same general appearance.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Yeah right, Like if they were far away or from behind,
- 32:41Speaker 1: you wouldn't be able to tell. Yeah. Yes, Oh, Mark
- 32:45Speaker 1: such a player with those chipmunk cheeks. I don't get it.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 32:51Speaker 2: There's like a whole thread on Reddit where people are
- 32:53Speaker 2: talking like he looks like a lesbian named Brenda.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Well, we're going to see a lesbian named Brenda coming
- 33:03Speaker 1: up on this season. I don't know if you saw
- 33:05Speaker 1: the coming up on.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Maybe that's where people got it from. Maybe it is,
- 33:10Speaker 2: or maybe they didn't say Brenda. And I'm just subconsciously
- 33:12Speaker 2: saying Brenda because I feel like he looks like a Brenda.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Yeah, like he just he just listen, I'll just listen.
- 33:19Speaker 1: He needs a lower facelift. He needs to get rid
- 33:21Speaker 1: of this, he needs it all cut and lifted.
- 33:24Speaker 2: But does he he's getting all these hot young ladies.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Well that's true apparently, Yeah, yeah, all right, let's move
- 33:33Speaker 1: on to Matt and Amani and Annie a mini Annie
- 33:39Speaker 1: any whatever.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Oh, people are going deep on the Reddit. A lot
- 33:45Speaker 2: of people are saying bad things. They're saying she's a
- 33:51Speaker 2: sex worker, and we are they slept with her and
- 33:59Speaker 2: then it's all fake. And oh that Amani's accent, Amenie's
- 34:06Speaker 2: accent goes in and out through every scene depending on
- 34:09Speaker 2: It's very much like Hilaria Baldwin.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Let's to say we cover a show like that that
- 34:14Speaker 1: episodes out today. Two guys, the finale of the ball wins,
- 34:19Speaker 1: so Amani a Minnie is in the bed and Annie
- 34:23Speaker 1: is on the couch. Mac goes over and hugs Amani
- 34:26Speaker 1: and he's like, you want to go get breakfast? Yes?
- 34:28Speaker 1: So they ask Annie if she wants to go, and
- 34:30Speaker 1: she says no, and she's like, good, you know we can.
- 34:33Speaker 1: We can have a moment to discuss her. So in
- 34:36Speaker 1: the talking head, Annie says, Amani is explosion too much
- 34:40Speaker 1: and I don't need this in my life. She explodes
- 34:42Speaker 1: too much. And at breakfast, he says regarding Annie, he's like, yeah,
- 34:48Speaker 1: like I care about her, of course, but this is
- 34:50Speaker 1: getting ridiculous. And she's like, but do you want to
- 34:53Speaker 1: move forward with this? Because I do want to move
- 34:55Speaker 1: forward with this, and he goes the thing with Annie
- 34:58Speaker 1: is it's drawn out honesty. It's not upfront honesty. She's
- 35:02Speaker 1: not telling us the truth right away. And it's hard
- 35:05Speaker 1: for me to see you crying over this situation because
- 35:08Speaker 1: you are my wife. And then talking Eddie says, I
- 35:13Speaker 1: do wonder who are we to Annie? She won't tell anyone,
- 35:17Speaker 1: she won't tell anyone about us, and all I see
- 35:19Speaker 1: from our lives and you know, my wife is such
- 35:22Speaker 1: a pure soul and I have to protect her, her
- 35:26Speaker 1: her And then they're talking to it together and Amani goes,
- 35:30Speaker 1: but like you love her and like you said you
- 35:32Speaker 1: loved her, and he goes, maybe, but it's not like
- 35:35Speaker 1: I love you, like we've had so many years together.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And she goes, you said you loved her. Isn't that
- 35:40Speaker 1: the point of this whole thing. It's like, this is
- 35:43Speaker 1: so fake and stupid. And also this whole thing.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Are you just realizing now that it was lust and
- 35:51Speaker 2: not love?
- 35:52Speaker 1: Right right?
- 35:54Speaker 2: Also, this is the saddest that anyone has ever looked.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Eating in Mexican food. They're so like, you're eating yeah food.
- 36:03Speaker 1: And at one point they sort of zoom in on
- 36:05Speaker 1: him eating and her like looking at him like oh.
- 36:10Speaker 1: So they bring Annie home some food and Annie says,
- 36:13Speaker 1: I don't like to fight. It's too much explosion. If
- 36:16Speaker 1: you don't have relax, you think we could stay together
- 36:19Speaker 1: because for you and you and me and the kids,
- 36:22Speaker 1: we have to have a good life together. Until you
- 36:24Speaker 1: need to calm down. And I'm Annie, He's like fake
- 36:28Speaker 1: cries and says, I don't want to be a secret.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I'm putting my life on the line for this and
- 36:35Speaker 1: I need to be acknowledged. I need you to acknowledge me.
- 36:39Speaker 1: And Annie goes, I will tell my family. I'm going
- 36:42Speaker 1: to tell them, but I need time, and he goes, well,
- 36:45Speaker 1: how much time do you need because we're literally right
- 36:47Speaker 1: around the corner for meeting your family, Like they literally
- 36:50Speaker 1: live around the corner, and we're going to see them
- 36:51Speaker 1: tomorrow or whatever, however long they're going to drag these
- 36:54Speaker 1: people out this season, and he says, you know, nobody,
- 36:59Speaker 1: nobody in this situation should be lying. It's making us
- 37:02Speaker 1: uncomfortable that you're lying. And I'm talking to He says,
- 37:05Speaker 1: I've opened we opened up our life for Annie, and
- 37:08Speaker 1: we need to see her sacrifice too, and if it's
- 37:10Speaker 1: uncomfortable for her, then she needs to tell her family.
- 37:12Speaker 1: You know, we're we're doing all this stuff, and they're
- 37:14Speaker 1: still trying to pretend like she's a ninety dight fiance
- 37:17Speaker 1: and they're gonna get divorced so she could come over.
- 37:20Speaker 1: None of this has been discussed. It's not true. So
- 37:23Speaker 1: it's a bank trip. And Annie says, please, baby, we
- 37:27Speaker 1: could change the mood. We fix the problem. We fix
- 37:30Speaker 1: the problem. She hugs Amanie and then Mat comes in
- 37:33Speaker 1: for the hug and Amanie goes, you know, I just
- 37:36Speaker 1: want to be sure that you're here for the right reasons,
- 37:39Speaker 1: like they say on The Bachelor, and Annie says, you
- 37:42Speaker 1: know what, it'll make me feel better if I could
- 37:45Speaker 1: get a quickie. Just kidding, No, I'm really not. And
- 37:48Speaker 1: then there's do lots of kiss kiss kiss, I kiss you,
- 37:51Speaker 1: you kiss me, kiss kiss kiss, and then we're.
- 37:53Speaker 2: But we don't want to be sexualized as a threatfl it.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I really hate them and I wish I could just
- 38:00Speaker 1: skip them that I can't. But now that's it. That's it,
- 38:02Speaker 1: we're done with them. The end move on to Greg
- 38:07Speaker 1: and Joan, who is becoming more and more of a
- 38:10Speaker 1: badass week by week and I love it. Joan, Yeah,
- 38:13Speaker 1: Joan it.
- 38:14Speaker 2: So she's trying to help him get in shape by
- 38:17Speaker 2: making him do lunches of the park, and she's freaking
- 38:19Speaker 2: out because she's gained weight already even though she's only
- 38:22Speaker 2: been in America for eleven.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Days, so that Italian cooking.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Lucille's plan to fatten her up has worked. And
- 38:32Speaker 2: Joan is like, I want to wear a tight dress
- 38:34Speaker 2: wedding dress even and you know, even though Greg tells
- 38:38Speaker 2: me the bigger the booty the better, Like this is
- 38:41Speaker 2: too big of a booty. So Joan takes up of
- 38:46Speaker 2: several seats. We can see you're clavicle. You're fine. So
- 38:51Speaker 2: they're doing the like laziest like lunges as they're having
- 38:55Speaker 2: all these conversations. It's so funny or like running in
- 38:58Speaker 2: place like little robots, but like not exerting at all
- 39:02Speaker 2: because they're trying to have a conversation.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that's me.
- 39:04Speaker 2: So she says, all my friends are in shape in
- 39:07Speaker 2: Uganda and he says, well, because you live in between
- 39:10Speaker 2: two mountains and you have to go up a mountain
- 39:12Speaker 2: every day to go to work. And she's like, we
- 39:15Speaker 2: love it. Er just like an iron man. So he says, well,
- 39:21Speaker 2: I'm down to come to the park and work out
- 39:23Speaker 2: like a few times a week or maybe less when
- 39:26Speaker 2: I'm not making bread whatever, or we could join a
- 39:29Speaker 2: gym and as he's like half squatting, he's like, yeah, Jim,
- 39:34Speaker 2: that costs anywhere from like ten dollars to two hundred
- 39:37Speaker 2: and fifty dollars a month.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you'll have to have to gym shop to find one.
- 39:42Speaker 2: That's right for you. White or range which is zero.
- 39:45Speaker 1: How much money you have.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, how much what does a two hundred and
- 39:50Speaker 2: fifty dollars a month gym come with liposection?
- 39:53Speaker 1: Like, I don't know, but I'm sure that's probably how
- 39:56Speaker 1: much they are, like in La right expensive?
- 40:00Speaker 2: I was that one for twenty dollars. I don't know
- 40:02Speaker 2: what people are talking about. You don't need all that
- 40:04Speaker 2: fancy stuff, so joint Planet Fitness. So they then start
- 40:10Speaker 2: jogging in place and he's like, you know, it hurts
- 40:13Speaker 2: that you said you wanted to leave if I don't
- 40:15Speaker 2: get a job. She's e's acting like this is new information,
- 40:19Speaker 2: even though she had I'm sure said that before she
- 40:22Speaker 2: came anyway. Yes, So he says, well, I have an
- 40:25Speaker 2: interview for a state job because it's only state jobs there,
- 40:30Speaker 2: like exactly. He's obsessed with working for the state. And
- 40:34Speaker 2: she's like, that's great, baby. I hope you don't screw
- 40:37Speaker 2: this up. I don't believe in you at all, No,
- 40:43Speaker 2: you fat, sweaty breadmaker.
- 40:46Speaker 1: And what did he say the job was? He said
- 40:47Speaker 1: what it was?
- 40:48Speaker 2: I was like, was that mean, oh, like working for
- 40:51Speaker 2: like an assistant in good projects?
- 40:55Speaker 1: I didn't think. Yeah, I was like, whatever it was,
- 40:58Speaker 1: it didn't sound Does that mean does that mean trash man? Like,
- 41:01Speaker 1: what was the job?
- 41:02Speaker 2: I honestly, I don't know. So she says, if you
- 41:05Speaker 2: don't get a job in two weeks, I'm done. He says,
- 41:08Speaker 2: that's not realistic. It's going to take like a month.
- 41:10Speaker 2: She's like, okay, then you have a month.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Wow.
- 41:14Speaker 2: He goes, we're dealing with New York State, like the
- 41:17Speaker 2: state jobs. It could take more time. Again, there are
- 41:20Speaker 2: other jobs. Are there no private companies in Long on
- 41:24Speaker 2: Long Island? You could go work for a gym, Go
- 41:27Speaker 2: work for Planet Fitness. Yeah, the private company.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Go work for Panera they make bread.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 41:33Speaker 2: So he's just flabbergasted that she's giving him a deadline
- 41:37Speaker 2: because you had the whole visa process before she got here,
- 41:42Speaker 2: which probably took like a year, and you still didn't
- 41:45Speaker 2: do it. So she's realizing you have to be like
- 41:49Speaker 2: you have to be treated like a toddler, like do
- 41:52Speaker 2: this now, or you need to set clear rules and boundaries,
- 41:56Speaker 2: maybe count to three once in a while. Or he's grounded,
- 41:59Speaker 2: has to to sit in time out, like think about
- 42:02Speaker 2: what you did. And that's how she's treating him. But
- 42:06Speaker 2: he's brought it on himself and Lucille has not treated
- 42:10Speaker 2: him like that, and she should have when he was younger,
- 42:13Speaker 2: and she created this monster.
- 42:15Speaker 1: I agree with all of those assessments.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 42:19Speaker 1: That was it for them this week. That just lunched
- 42:21Speaker 1: in the.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Park half lazy lunches for times like.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Me, sometimes I'll do like sometimes I'll do squats and
- 42:30Speaker 1: my husband will chime in with those really are very
- 42:33Speaker 1: deep squats. Oh my god, I'm like, I'm while my
- 42:38Speaker 1: water bottle, my giant water bottle fills up at the
- 42:42Speaker 1: at the water at the fridge. Ye, squats, squat.
- 42:46Speaker 2: You know where when it's good to squat when you're
- 42:47Speaker 2: brushing your teeth.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Oh okay, I'm too busy, just like walking around doing
- 42:52Speaker 1: stuffhile and brushing my teeth. Okay, well I do it
- 42:55Speaker 1: while I fill up my water, which is many times
- 42:57Speaker 1: a day. And he came in the day, so what
- 42:59Speaker 1: are you doing. I'm t to squat when I brushed
- 43:01Speaker 1: my not when I brush my teeth when I am
- 43:03Speaker 1: filling out my water. He goes, well, you're gonna have
- 43:05Speaker 1: to go deeper to that to get in the effects.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I go, you know, what, why are you here? Isn't
- 43:08Speaker 1: your job downtown?
- 43:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:10Speaker 1: M hm, COVID is.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Your job for the state.
- 43:14Speaker 1: You've worked for the states?
- 43:15Speaker 4: Sir?
- 43:16Speaker 1: Out of here? Are you better myself?
- 43:19Speaker 2: Kate deep lunches state.
- 43:23Speaker 1: That sounds like a Katie pun. Oh it's worn off
- 43:27Speaker 1: on you. Finally after all these years. Okay, let's go
- 43:30Speaker 1: to Stevie and Maddie. Did everybody listen to my interview
- 43:33Speaker 1: with Stevie last week?
- 43:34Speaker 2: I did, and it was delightful. Yeah.
- 43:38Speaker 1: I enjoyed her.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I thought it was so great.
- 43:40Speaker 1: I really did. I enjoyed her. She told me she said, oh,
- 43:43Speaker 1: Kimberly told me that you're really nice. And I go
- 43:46Speaker 1: Kimberly from a Day with dayline and she goes, no,
- 43:49Speaker 1: Kimberly from ninety day fiance And I was like, oh,
- 43:51Speaker 1: you mean kim Bally, kim Bally Kimbally. I said, oh, okay,
- 43:55Speaker 1: good girl said yeah, we love Kimbally. But I thought
- 43:58Speaker 1: she met you. I was like, interesting, she better have
- 44:01Speaker 1: said off a nice on killer.
- 44:03Speaker 2: I mean she did reply ha ha to one of
- 44:06Speaker 2: my comments. Just friends.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Basically, yes, she was very easy to talk to. Okay,
- 44:13Speaker 1: I got to the bottom of the fact, where are
- 44:15Speaker 1: the children?
- 44:16Speaker 2: Thank God? And I really respect that that you do.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I just don't think they should have mentioned them.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Then yes, but then you're damned if you do. You're
- 44:24Speaker 1: damned if you don't. If she wouldn't have miss kids,
- 44:26Speaker 1: and they'll be like, why are you hiding your children?
- 44:28Speaker 1: You know, are you a bad mom? You know all that.
- 44:29Speaker 2: So that's a good point, like Lauren of Lauren and
- 44:34Speaker 2: Faith that, like he has those kids that they never
- 44:37Speaker 2: mentioned and read it found out and.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Tore him apart, right because he has the children and
- 44:42Speaker 1: he deserves it. He deserves it, right. That's not the
- 44:45Speaker 1: same Stevia Maddie. Okay, sixty seven days to wed they
- 44:51Speaker 1: go and meet her friends, Megan and Adam. Adam is
- 44:54Speaker 1: wearing an Ole Miss shirt and I loved it. And
- 44:57Speaker 1: these friends helped her pay for her plane ticket to
- 45:01Speaker 1: go see him in Turkey. Wowow, nice friends. We meet
- 45:06Speaker 1: Jeremy the glass blower. This is my kind of hippie
- 45:08Speaker 1: glass blowing dude, college town hippie. Sounds like Pachuli. Loved it.
- 45:14Speaker 1: It's not my kind of Yeah, they do the glass blowing,
- 45:20Speaker 1: and so they put the hot thing on and he's
- 45:22Speaker 1: got to actually like blow through this copper tube and
- 45:25Speaker 1: the guy makes a joke like, yeah, go ahead, you
- 45:27Speaker 1: got to blow it really hard. Oh we cleaned it
- 45:29Speaker 1: last year, hahaha. And then we find out that Maddie
- 45:32Speaker 1: is a germophobe, so he didn't get that joke, and
- 45:34Speaker 1: he was very concerned. They talk about the wedding to
- 45:39Speaker 1: the friends and they were like, no, we don't know
- 45:40Speaker 1: all the details jet and they're like, what do you mean, like,
- 45:43Speaker 1: because you just have to think, you know, in regular
- 45:46Speaker 1: in the United States, people, if they're planning a wedding,
- 45:48Speaker 1: they know at least six months to a year out
- 45:51Speaker 1: every single detail. And they're like, yeah, we don't know.
- 45:54Speaker 1: We don't know what we're doing, we don't know when
- 45:55Speaker 1: we're doing it, we don't know what day it's going
- 45:57Speaker 1: to be. And they're like no, like really, you know nothing,
- 46:01Speaker 1: and like, yeah, we don't know anything. And so the
- 46:04Speaker 1: talking head Meghan says, I do worry that Stevie won't
- 46:07Speaker 1: talk about the plans. I think she's being really cagey
- 46:09Speaker 1: about it. I think it's weird she won't talk about it.
- 46:12Speaker 1: And I think with Stevie, a lot of what she
- 46:14Speaker 1: does is like out of fear and self preservation. So
- 46:16Speaker 1: it's sort of like if I don't talk about it.
- 46:19Speaker 1: It's like jinxing it or whatever. So Meghan and Stevie
- 46:25Speaker 1: go into the glass swelling shop. I love to look
- 46:27Speaker 1: at it all that beautiful like glass with it when
- 46:30Speaker 1: some of it has like the speckles on it. And
- 46:31Speaker 1: I was like, I don't know how they do that. Yeah,
- 46:34Speaker 1: really really really cool. And she tells Meghan, you know,
- 46:39Speaker 1: he has said some things that have given me a
- 46:41Speaker 1: little bit of doubt. And then she goes, but truth
- 46:44Speaker 1: of the matter is maybe I'm the one that's uncertain,
- 46:46Speaker 1: like what am I doing here? And she kind of
- 46:48Speaker 1: cries a little bit, and Megan says, I understand that,
- 46:51Speaker 1: Like it is like kind of sudden and you don't
- 46:53Speaker 1: have a lot of time to think about it, and
- 46:55Speaker 1: you have to do what's best for you, like, don't
- 46:57Speaker 1: feel pressure to go into this or whatever. Now Maddie's
- 47:01Speaker 1: in there talking to Adam, which made me happy. I'm like, okay, great,
- 47:03Speaker 1: maybe this is Matti. MADDI can have a friend, you know, yeah,
- 47:06Speaker 1: a bro, a dude that's not Perry who is tiny
- 47:10Speaker 1: but is scary. And Mattie's talking to Adam and he goes, yeah,
- 47:15Speaker 1: you know, I was surprised how homesick. I was, like,
- 47:19Speaker 1: it did kind of like come on me like really quick,
- 47:22Speaker 1: and I voiced it and then she was upset about that,
- 47:25Speaker 1: and Adam goes, yeah, but that's okay. It's better to
- 47:27Speaker 1: communicate it and say how you're feeling and not just
- 47:30Speaker 1: hold it in. And Mattie says, you know, if I
- 47:34Speaker 1: say something to her like that I was feeling a
- 47:37Speaker 1: little homesick or worried about it, then she fires back
- 47:39Speaker 1: at me, and then I felt bad about it. Adam says, well,
- 47:43Speaker 1: she's probably like super nervous about the whole situation and
- 47:46Speaker 1: she knows, she knows what you have given up to
- 47:49Speaker 1: be here. But you know, as a man, as a husband,
- 47:52Speaker 1: you need to make sure she feels safe and that
- 47:56Speaker 1: you're in it with her, that you're in it with her, like,
- 47:58Speaker 1: don't make her feel insecure, because she's insecure too.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so Ipena was to tell her everything, but also
- 48:04Speaker 2: don't make her feel don't let her know that you're
- 48:07Speaker 2: feeling insecure.
- 48:08Speaker 1: So I think it's like, I think the thing was
- 48:12Speaker 1: Maddie was just trying to be like honest, I yuess
- 48:14Speaker 1: am feeling like sad and I miss my family, and
- 48:16Speaker 1: then she's taking that as oh, you're gonna leave.
- 48:19Speaker 2: M hm.
- 48:20Speaker 1: No, two things can be true. I can be very
- 48:21Speaker 1: happy to be here with you, but I could also
- 48:23Speaker 1: miss my family, yeah, you know. And so in the
- 48:27Speaker 1: talking to head she goes, I'm starting to question if
- 48:30Speaker 1: he's one hundred percent, and I have to know he's
- 48:32Speaker 1: one hundred percent, and then I have to question, like,
- 48:33Speaker 1: maybe it's me. Maybe this is not something I really
- 48:36Speaker 1: want to do.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Oh, what you should have thought about that earlier.
- 48:41Speaker 1: That's right, man, you should have thought about the content
- 48:43Speaker 1: of your actions.
- 48:44Speaker 2: You guys are cute together. You're fine. You're just having anxiety.
- 48:48Speaker 1: And by the way, she wouldn't tell me on Mike
- 48:50Speaker 1: or off Mike if they get married, and I didn't
- 48:53Speaker 1: like that. I like to I like to get a
- 48:54Speaker 1: little inside scoop and she was not giving it up.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Well, she posts lovey dove photos of them.
- 49:01Speaker 1: So I said, well, it seems like you're always posting
- 49:04Speaker 1: that he's around, and she was like, I don't know.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Good like thinking that nda very seriously, he's not.
- 49:10Speaker 1: She's never bringing that India or anything.
- 49:11Speaker 2: It's like we want to be back for happily.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Ever after that's right, that's right. So the next day
- 49:19Speaker 1: or whenever, two days later unclear, he is going to
- 49:23Speaker 1: go with her dad, Perry, to a monster truck show
- 49:26Speaker 1: and she's like do you even know what this is?
- 49:28Speaker 1: And he's like, no, I don't know anything.
- 49:30Speaker 2: She asked him if he's ever been to one. I
- 49:32Speaker 2: was like, Noah, when do you think he has been
- 49:37Speaker 2: to one?
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm from Mississippi and I've never been to a monster
- 49:39Speaker 1: truck show. Okay, yeah. So she's like, do you even
- 49:43Speaker 1: know what it is? Like, it's gonna be loud, It's
- 49:45Speaker 1: gonna be really loud. He's like, no, I don't. I
- 49:47Speaker 1: have no idea what this is. So as they walk out,
- 49:50Speaker 1: Maddie goes, hey Dad. Now I didn't think he was
- 49:53Speaker 1: doing it to be like hey mom, Hey Dad. I
- 49:56Speaker 1: think he was just like she said hey Dad, and
- 49:58Speaker 1: he's like hey Dad, like as a joke. But Perry
- 50:02Speaker 1: was like, yeah, like hearing somebody call you dad that
- 50:05Speaker 1: you don't know good, it's a little strange. Like I
- 50:07Speaker 1: was trying to go through my past. I got any
- 50:08Speaker 1: Iranian women in my past? He's calling me dad, I
- 50:11Speaker 1: don't remember. Oh good.
- 50:15Speaker 2: That was a word salad from Darry.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Perry got real uncomfortable with that, and I don't I
- 50:22Speaker 1: don't know anybody in the South that does that, that
- 50:24Speaker 1: calls their in laws mom and dad. I've never known
- 50:27Speaker 1: anybody to do that.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Ever, what did they call them by their first name
- 50:31Speaker 2: or miss missus?
- 50:34Speaker 1: Yeah? I called Dave's parents by their first name, Charles
- 50:38Speaker 1: and Mary Carroll. But she told me when we got engaged, like,
- 50:41Speaker 1: she told me, I want you to call me Mary
- 50:43Speaker 1: Caroll like and she was like, I want to, like
- 50:45Speaker 1: get it out of the way so it's not weird.
- 50:46Speaker 1: And I appreciated that with his mom and with my,
- 50:49Speaker 1: uh my mom. Of course, when our family, you know,
- 50:51Speaker 1: we're Southern, we don't talk about anything. We bury it
- 50:53Speaker 1: all down. And so he didn't know what to call
- 50:56Speaker 1: mo Mama, God, I don't know, just call her call
- 50:59Speaker 1: her Elizabeth, that's her name. He's like, I can't do that.
- 51:02Speaker 1: That's why she hasn't told me. I don't know. So
- 51:04Speaker 1: all the grandkids call my mom Bobby. So he just
- 51:07Speaker 1: calls her Bobby.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Oh, okay, yeah that works.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Yeah, And both of the sons in law, the other
- 51:13Speaker 1: sons in law go between Bobby and Elizabeth. Yeah. So
- 51:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I think he called her missus Cosser
- 51:20Speaker 1: when we were first dating, but I've never heard you guys,
- 51:24Speaker 1: let me know, please, like seriously, DM me and let
- 51:26Speaker 1: me know. Is that a thing in other places? If
- 51:30Speaker 1: you get married to somebody, do you then call your
- 51:32Speaker 1: in law's mom and dad? Yeah?
- 51:34Speaker 2: I think in some I think it's family by family,
- 51:37Speaker 2: you do. You don't think it's like and I don't
- 51:39Speaker 2: think it would happen right away either. I think it
- 51:41Speaker 2: would happen slowly, and I think it's more likely to
- 51:45Speaker 2: happen if the person doesn't have a close relationship with
- 51:48Speaker 2: their own parents.
- 51:51Speaker 1: I'm trying to remember. I think it was in Was
- 51:54Speaker 1: it in Father of the Bride when the sudden in
- 51:57Speaker 1: law kept calling him dad he was so annoyed. Yeah,
- 52:00Speaker 1: I think that's the movie.
- 52:00Speaker 2: It was.
- 52:01Speaker 1: It's like Steve Martin going, oh, like, don't touch.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Me, that's your dad. That's a great movie.
- 52:06Speaker 1: You're so good. That's a great movie. The Father of
- 52:08Speaker 1: the Bride too, is also a great movie.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Great movie. They're so good. I've watched those. I used
- 52:14Speaker 2: to watch those like every week or yeah.
- 52:16Speaker 1: They hold up. Okay, So to Monster Truck Show, back
- 52:22Speaker 1: to Perry sorry, I got okay. So and they're talking
- 52:25Speaker 1: to head. Maddy says, I'm gonna repropose to Stevie, and
- 52:29Speaker 1: I need to get the blessing from Perry. It's the
- 52:31Speaker 1: same and Iran, you ask for the father's blessing before
- 52:35Speaker 1: you marry the daughter. So I want to do this
- 52:37Speaker 1: like the proper way, which I think is great. So
- 52:40Speaker 1: then they go into the Monster Truck Show, which looks
- 52:42Speaker 1: like at the local conference center or whatever. They got
- 52:44Speaker 1: the whole thing covered with dirt and all that, and
- 52:46Speaker 1: they've got the you know, the ramps, and he says, wow,
- 52:49Speaker 1: this is the most American place. There are hot dogs
- 52:52Speaker 1: and American flags and I don't think I fit in here.
- 52:54Speaker 1: It's like another word. And it's funny because it's comicals
- 52:59Speaker 1: like can you hear okay? Huh? Do you have your ears?
- 53:03Speaker 1: Your ear? What are your ears? Okay? Huh. Yeah, it's funny.
- 53:09Speaker 1: And then they sing the greatest song ever written for
- 53:11Speaker 1: the greatest nation in the world, the national Anthem, and
- 53:17Speaker 1: that's that's how they described it. I died, they did.
- 53:21Speaker 1: And so they all stand up and so, you know,
- 53:23Speaker 1: Maddie's just stands up and kind of looks around because
- 53:25Speaker 1: he doesn't know what to do, and then at the
- 53:26Speaker 1: end he goes, I just felt like maybe this was
- 53:29Speaker 1: a song that was very popular in the United States
- 53:31Speaker 1: and everybody knew it, like like California by Katy Perry, Like,
- 53:35Speaker 1: I just didn't know with this.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Song the party in the USA Cyrus was.
- 53:41Speaker 1: It Proud to be an American by Lee Greenwood? I
- 53:44Speaker 1: didn't know what I thought it was going to be
- 53:46Speaker 1: Proud to be an American about the Greenwood I really did.
- 53:49Speaker 1: But anyway, then Perry has to explain it to him. No,
- 53:51Speaker 1: it's like our national song, and he's like, oh, I've
- 53:54Speaker 1: only ever heard that, like an if American team came
- 53:57Speaker 1: to play in the Iran But I have, of course
- 53:58Speaker 1: on TV, Like why would you, It's not like I
- 54:00Speaker 1: would know the Swedish national anthem.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Totally yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 54:05Speaker 1: So they're watching the Monster Trucks and the talking head
- 54:10Speaker 1: Maddie goes, I don't know. I was expecting more like
- 54:12Speaker 1: I thought they would jump higher or go longer. I don't.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess I would watch something like
- 54:18Speaker 1: this if I was in my sixties.
- 54:19Speaker 2: I don't know, No, I'm I mean, they don't go
- 54:23Speaker 2: as and maybe it's just said this one.
- 54:27Speaker 1: But it doesn't seem like it's a small arena.
- 54:30Speaker 2: It's a small arena, and they were going over like
- 54:32Speaker 2: one car, so it didn't seem like that crazy or anything.
- 54:36Speaker 1: It didn't only no, they weren't even going over cars.
- 54:38Speaker 1: They were jumping over like oh yeah, yeah.
- 54:42Speaker 2: It wasn't like they were flying through the air evil
- 54:45Speaker 2: canievel or something.
- 54:46Speaker 1: And then they had to immediately slam on their brakes
- 54:48Speaker 1: because they're narrow to a wall. And so they walk
- 54:54Speaker 1: outside and Maddie tells them like, I, you know, appreciate
- 54:57Speaker 1: you bringing me here, like I don't have anything to do,
- 55:00Speaker 1: I don't have any friends, and so that means a
- 55:01Speaker 1: lot to me that you would take me. And he says,
- 55:03Speaker 1: but I just wanted to let you know I'm going
- 55:05Speaker 1: to repropose to Stevie really soon, and I want your permission,
- 55:08Speaker 1: I want your blessing, and I've got her this ring
- 55:11Speaker 1: from Iran and he shows her the ring and Dad says,
- 55:14Speaker 1: what's the time frame on this marriage? Like how many
- 55:16Speaker 1: days have you spent together? Actually?
- 55:19Speaker 2: And he goes, well, I thought he was asking like again,
- 55:21Speaker 2: like how when do you have to get married by,
- 55:24Speaker 2: which drives me crazy on this show, like it's ninety days.
- 55:27Speaker 1: The name, Well, I think he's wondering, like, what day
- 55:30Speaker 1: are we on?
- 55:32Speaker 2: Right? Yeah, no, it's a valid question. I don't know
- 55:34Speaker 2: why I got so annoyed.
- 55:36Speaker 1: And he goes in, how many days have you spent
- 55:37Speaker 1: together in total? And he says, well, we spent that
- 55:39Speaker 1: week together in Turkey, and then we've now been together
- 55:42Speaker 1: a couple of weeks in the United States, and Dad goes,
- 55:44Speaker 1: that's not a lot of time, not a lot. I
- 55:46Speaker 1: love how they have the dad the captions under the
- 55:49Speaker 1: dad because his accent is so thick. Now, I was
- 55:53Speaker 1: looking down.
- 55:54Speaker 2: When it's taken American needs captions.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Yes, I was looking down taking os. I didn't need captions.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I speak. So.
- 56:01Speaker 2: Did you notice that Maddie said, or Maddie whatever, Sorry,
- 56:05Speaker 2: she says Maddie, I'm fixing to ask Stevie to marry me.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Did he say that?
- 56:11Speaker 2: He said fixing, which is what Stevie always says. I
- 56:14Speaker 2: thought it was very cute. It's like he's trying to
- 56:17Speaker 2: incorporate himself into the language and used the local vernacular.
- 56:22Speaker 2: I thought it was hilarious. I didn't know I am
- 56:24Speaker 2: that I am fixing to marry your daughter. Yeah, he's
- 56:28Speaker 2: very formal, like the way he speaks. It was adorable.
- 56:31Speaker 1: It's cute. I mean I say that still. I mean,
- 56:33Speaker 1: it's just in me. I can't get out of that.
- 56:35Speaker 1: I can't.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I've never said it in normal conversation.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like, I'm fixing of his store and then
- 56:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this and then I'll be home. Yeah.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Won did my kids say it? I don't even know. Okay,
- 56:49Speaker 1: so they've been a week at Turkey, two weeks in
- 56:51Speaker 1: the US. Ya says, not a lot of time, and
- 56:53Speaker 1: Stevie says, and he says, not a lot of time,
- 56:57Speaker 1: and Stevie says, maybe you were having a second thoughts.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Mattie goes, you.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Know, it was just told that.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I know, she told everybody, told everybody, and Maddie goes,
- 57:06Speaker 1: you know, it was just a random thought that I have.
- 57:09Speaker 1: I just let her know, like, wow, I can't believe
- 57:11Speaker 1: I already missed my family. And then I just say, like,
- 57:14Speaker 1: if I ever did return to Iran, I wouldn't be
- 57:16Speaker 1: able to come back to the US. That's what I said.
- 57:19Speaker 1: And Dad says, I know, but sometimes like times get hard.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Marriage is hard, and you can't just back out, and
- 57:24Speaker 1: Maddie goes, I know that there's no going back to Iran.
- 57:28Speaker 1: I can't go back, and I love her and she
- 57:31Speaker 1: loves me. I promise you I'll take good care of
- 57:33Speaker 1: her forever. And Dad goes, well, seems like your heart's
- 57:37Speaker 1: in the right place, and I just want to be
- 57:39Speaker 1: sure she's in the right hands, because you know, I'm
- 57:41Speaker 1: sick and I won't be here forever. And Maddie says,
- 57:44Speaker 1: I know, and he says, you gotta be good to her,
- 57:46Speaker 1: but I won't keep my eyes on you. And they
- 57:49Speaker 1: hug and it seems fine, and then talking to her,
- 57:52Speaker 1: dad says, look, I need to know if Maddie's all in.
- 57:55Speaker 1: And when Mattie asked for the blessing, I thought that
- 57:58Speaker 1: was thoughtful of him, and it made me feel good
- 57:59Speaker 1: about him that he would do something like that. And
- 58:02Speaker 1: I assume he's planning on staying. But if you know,
- 58:04Speaker 1: if it's gonna be different, I'm not going to walk
- 58:06Speaker 1: her down the aisle.
- 58:08Speaker 2: And she's gonna have to wear one of those chee hots.
- 58:14Speaker 1: She did say on the interview that he was corrected
- 58:17Speaker 1: a couple of times. But that you didn't put that
- 58:19Speaker 1: on camera on camera, and the talking head Mattie says,
- 58:24Speaker 1: I understand that Perry is hesitant, but I'm not having
- 58:29Speaker 1: second thoughts. I'm not going back to Iran. You know,
- 58:32Speaker 1: I realize now I could have worded it differently when.
- 58:34Speaker 2: I said I was yeah, but that that one time
- 58:38Speaker 2: shouldn't be keep thrown back in his face.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I know, I agree. I think he should just like
- 58:43Speaker 1: say to her flat out. I know that I said that,
- 58:45Speaker 1: but it was just I was just telling you what
- 58:47Speaker 1: I was thinking at that moment, like I can't believe
- 58:48Speaker 1: you already missed them so bad. It's been one day. Also,
- 58:50Speaker 1: poor kid is jet lagged.
- 58:52Speaker 3: Hell yeah, thinking about getting health insurance or switching with

- 59:15Speaker 1: move it on to Sean and Aliah, and this is
- 59:19Speaker 1: our last couple. And uh in the car they're driving
- 59:24Speaker 1: and she has on this really cute outfit and he goes,
- 59:26Speaker 1: you look like Clueless today. You know that movie and
- 59:28Speaker 1: she goes, no, I don't know this, and he goes,
- 59:31Speaker 1: we're gonna watch it, but we have to finish watching
- 59:33Speaker 1: the way we were with Barbara streisand it's so funny,
- 59:36Speaker 1: we have to finish. He was like, like they started
- 59:39Speaker 1: and she's like yeah, She's like, I can't watch this.
- 59:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought she was going for Clueless on purpose.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Ay, she didn't know.
- 59:47Speaker 2: She didn't know. She just have that vibe. So can't
- 59:50Speaker 2: share from Cluis.
- 59:51Speaker 1: So she's meeting with her for Jackie. And now Jackie
- 59:53Speaker 1: is the one, like you said, that we met before
- 59:56Speaker 1: who came to Brazil, and we got the story of
- 59:58Speaker 1: how they met. It's just that she was at a
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: table one time next to them and Sean was like, oh,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: you speak English, like this is my girlfriend Elia, and
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: they just became friends that way. Like it was Sean
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: really that, yeah, it wasn't. Yeah. So so she's meeting
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: up with Jackie and we're reminded that he's not like
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: a giant fan of Jackie because at that time she
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: mentioned the prenup and he was like, let's don't plan
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: for my early demise when we got engaged yesterday, you know.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: So the talking head Jackie says, I've known Sean Ellie
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: for three years. I'm a bit worried about her here
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: in la now, and now that the clock is ticking
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: and Aliah's telling her, she says, oh, the house is
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: very big, it's very old, and it looks like a castle.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: It's very dark. And then Jackie asked her about their
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: sex life, how that's going, because as you do when
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the flower shop asking your friend about their sex life,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: and she goes, uh, yeah, it's working, it's it's it's
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: in time. And then she goes, actually it's in my time,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: like you know, meaning like she wasn't homemfortable right away.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: And then Jackie goes, how long was it till you
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: had sex?
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: I was like, this is so weird, my god. How
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: many times did you orgasm? Javy, yeah, last month? Tell
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: us details and.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: She goes, well, it was about four to five days
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: after I arrived. And Jackie goes, well, that's good because
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: it's better than I think the last time in Brazil,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: like they didn't have sex the whole time or just
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: one time before he left or whatever, and you're talking head,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you know. Aliah says, our sex like is different because
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I'm different, and so we're learning new things about each
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: other and it's okay. And she says, I do worry
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: in the future as I change, you know, hill miss
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: dating mends, and I'm not sure how much more of
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: this change he can handle. And so she's seeing it
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: through his eyes as he's trying to see through her.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: So that's good. So she says, yeah, I feel good.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: I feel confident and I feel comfortable, but some days
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I look in the mirror and then I don't feel complete.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: And Jackie goes, well, what are you thinking? And she goes,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I want boobs And she goes, okay, are you talking
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: to like like big boobs or you want like regular?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: And she goes, I think just like regular, like I
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: don't like like too big, And I thought was kind
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: of funny, and she goes, but I haven't told Sean
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: about this, and I think you when I do talk
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: about this, I think he avoids the conversations. And no,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I don't think he would ever say no, you can't
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: do that, like that's a step too far, but I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: do worry that. I think he worries I'm going too hard,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: like too fast, like I'm trying to change too much.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: And then Jackie says, do you think he's less sexually
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: attracted to you if you're like full glamful Aliyah? I
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: was like a question, and that kind of hurts her feelings.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: You can tell because she kind of tears up. Yeah,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: and she says, I don't know, I don't know so
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: and then talking to head, Jackie says, I can tell that
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: she's a little bit stressed being here, and you know,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: if it doesn't work out, I mean, Alio will just
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: be all alone here in a new country. I was like, well,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: she has you are you talking about? I don't know
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: where she lives. She didn't say, Oh, I just flew
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: in or my hotail down the street.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: He said she's gonna be like the maid of honor.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, because he made a joke that her maid
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: of honor dress should be read because she's o her blood.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Sean, those dad jokes are.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Are so funny. So she comes in the kitchen the
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: next this is that night or whatever, because he says
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: he says something to Jackie like are you coming later
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: to like the house of Horrors? I don't know what
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: he made a joke to like it being an old castle.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: So she comes in the kitchen. He's making a bouquet
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: with all the flowers that they got, and she goes,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: are you making the bookie? And he goes, yes, I'm
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: making the bouquet. And she's like, okay, the bookie. So
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: she walks out and Jackie comes in and she's like,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna sell you the house. Now here is the dress,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: the dress from brow Bar from brow Bar dress. And
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: he's like, oh my god, brow Bar Bookie. You gotta
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: get her pronounced thing. So I was like, I think
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: it's cute. I would never even correct her. I think
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: it's cute.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: I think, yeah, letters talk Charlie.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I love the way she pronounces things. And so Jackie's like, actually,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I think this house is really beautiful, like you know,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I dig it. Alia goes, how do you feel about
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: those monkey lamps. She's like, okay, well maybe not those,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: but it's fine. You know, she likes it. She thinks
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: it's she liked it. Yeah, they're talking to it. Jackie goes,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I like the house. I mean I would change a
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: few things, of course, But you know, I understand Alea
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: probably doesn't want to get there and immediately start changing things,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: but she could, she could ask for some things to
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: be changed, and that house is currently for rent, and
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: maybe they're in a different place.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: I just wish she would like offer, you know, change
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: some things for her.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I think, well, yeah, but it's been like three days.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: So Jackie says, all right, so tell me about the wedding.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: What are you planning? And Sean goes, I don't know,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: like we I haven't talked about it. He goes, My
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: dreams scenari of course, would be just to live together
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: and get to know each other now because everything is transitioning,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: and you know, put the K one off because our
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: relationship keeps changing. And the K one was the only
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: way she tried to come in on the student mesas
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: she tried to come in on a regular visa, the
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: K one was the only way. And she goes, oh, well, okay.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: She says, well, what do your kids think when you
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: talk about the wedding? And he goes, ah, they don't
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: really know. Well they don't know at all, actually, And
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: he goes, She's like, what, what's their opinion going to
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: be and he goes. Their opinion of Aliah won't be negative.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: They will love Aleah. Of course, It's more like what
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: if it goes awry? Like what if I'm a failure
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: at this? Like what if you know, obviously, what if
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: they don't get married? What if it doesn't work out?
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: And then talking to head, Aliah says, again, like she
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: said several times, I wonder if he's ashamed of me
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: because he hasn't told you know, his family. He's got
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: his family over there.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Yeah, he's they've met multiple friends now, but not yeah, family.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: And the and he knows the mom. Yeah, no, she
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: knows the mom Alaa the mom.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Yeah, she knows his mom, his mom right, so, but
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: she we haven't Her mom seems happy.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: I know her mom is so sweet, is.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: So like supportive of her going to America?
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, So the talking head Jackie says him saying
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: he's basically getting married out of necessity and not desire.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: It's got to be hard to hear. And you know,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I think Sean's saying that comes out of fear because
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: he doesn't know exactly who he's marrying at this point,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: because he fell in love with Douglas and now we
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: have Aliyah, and I think he doesn't know like what
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: the next step will be that Aleah wants to take
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: and so that I can understand that that's what he's
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: worried about. But it's a recipe for disaster. Yeah, Actually,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: what she says, I hope it's not a recipe for disaster.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: But what she's saying is it is a recipe for disaster. Yeah,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: we don't get Jessica and Juan this week, but what.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: We get is Okay, wait, I do have to say
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: thank you read it. I missed when Meghan there are
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: other Throttle basically wand and Jessica and Meghan. Meghan took
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: while they were at that bar when she got those
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: giant margaritas, she took gumb out of her mouth and
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: stuck it under the bar.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Yeah. People were upset about that, Megan.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: They already don't like you because you're acting like you
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: were cheated on.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot. Yeah I did see that, like I
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: read at her Facebook or I missed.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: And I yeah, I totally missed it. And it's so
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: bad in the mental health field, she's like a therapist
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: or something.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Yeah, girl, they don't know therapist. He had myself still
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: to come. This season on, we get a ton of
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: quick flashes that I could not write them all down.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: But we see wedding dresses on Mina, Stevie and Jessica.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: And when Stevie comes out in her as, Mattie says,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: the dress makes you look old, which it's not. Maddy,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Sarper goes missing. Nobody believes that, but we're Blair Witch
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: style camera running to look for Sarper.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: One I find what's his name in the is Nicole
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: and mock Mood just wandering the streets at third luggage.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: It'll be like, excuse me, guys, we did not find Sarper,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: but we have found luck Mood.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: And they'll be like, who remember the girl with the
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: unflattering blonde bob and the guy from Egypt or wherever?
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: We weren't looking for him, but here he is still
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: wearing a leather coat. So it looks like one did
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Jessica have their bachelor and bachelorette parties, because they're laying
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: in the bed that night together and she's got a
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: sash on and like red lipstick kisses all over, and
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: he's got red lipstick gisses all over his face, and
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: we see him getting a lap dance and really motor
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: boat in somebody.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Oh boy.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Yeah. And of course he.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Said no that there was that to do in that
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: small town.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah, And he says in his talking Katty
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: gets I don't know if I'm ready to leave the
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: boat life and go to this dad life. But I
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: think it's like a clip from another episode. Mina hears
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: that her son can't come and starts crying, Oh my god,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: like she says, she said they they say he can't
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: be there for the wedding, and she starts crying and says,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I can't do the wedding.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Oh god.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: We don't know if it's a trick.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: Amani and did something to that paperwork, No.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: She didn't. Amani and Matt meet with some guy that
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: they say whenever they have sent Annie money, they have
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: to pay this guy. So they want to know why.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: And then this other guy comes, who I guess is
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: a private investigator and or maybe he's the guy that
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: they said money too, but it seems like he's a
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: private investigator. And yeah, he speaks American English. I mean,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: you know, there's no accent. And he says the girl
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: that you think his name is any because it's a
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: n y and he is really a woman named Brenda.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: And then she comes up to meet them for dinner.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: And as she walks up, Matt is smirking as per
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: huge and Amani, with another smirk on her face, says, hi, Brenda,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: and she kind of steps back, yeah, locked like it's
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: all it's telenovela, man. I just it's it's fake. It's
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: all fake. It's fake. It's all fake. I'm so mad
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: about the whole thing. Mad.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Do people still want us to cover them because it's
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: not good for Mary Pain's blood pressure.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: And that bring them on.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: Her brain might be growing as we speak.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I'm covering them as little as possible. I'm like taking
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: the least amount of notes that we could, the least
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: amount of notes other people deserve my note taking. That
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: is you, guys, Haiti and Kimberly over there working so
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: much work. They're working hard, and you're covering dateline. You're
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: doing realmuch. Well, you're doing your rewind episodes over there
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: on your Patriots supercast.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: I just post episodes of no ads.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: That's fine, and okay, well you are don't downplay yourself.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Be your own Prince Charmy, lift yourself up. You're right, yeah,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: next week you're going to be doing two extra episodes,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: not next week the week after. So cause you're going
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: to be in charge of doing my ninety the episode
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: and my Love After lock Up episode. You're in charge
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: to get with Kisha and Matt to do those episodes.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: I'm so ready.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Okay, all right, so you're taking on.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: I love added responsibility.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Added responsibility, and they love to talk about me while
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I'm gone.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: So oh yeah, Maddie can do an impression of you.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: I don't like it. I don't like it.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Let's stop, stop bark. I gotta put my Hello Lash on.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: I got instruction workers pooping in my bathroom again.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: He sends me. He loves to do like video messages
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: instead of like a voice message or just a typed message.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: He'll send you like a video of himself talking. He's like, girl,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: look at my lashes. That Hello Lash is working. Oh
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: my god, I gotta get some more use code pink
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Shade twenty. But he's like, he's like, I may have
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: to stop using it. My lashes are so long they're
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: touching corber house. That's true, that's really good. I got
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: him some more. Also this week, Wednesday will be the Valley.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be covering the Valley with Keisha on Wednesday.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: That is on ten dollars Prime, patroon Supercast, Apple subscriptions
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: wherever you get your extra episodes. Soon to be extra
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: episodes on substack. At some point we're going to be
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: doing that.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Oh, I don't even understand what that is.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Yeah, not this week. This week. Too much going on.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: But there's seven episodes out this week. I'm doing seven
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: episodes this week.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: So that's crazy. That's crazy.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I have an extra episode bonus episode with Larrs and Campbell,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: my friend who's a podcaster. This week. She has a
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: new podcast out called Under the Yazoo Clay, which is
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: about the University of Missisipi Medical Center. They were going
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: to put up another wing and when they went to
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: dig up the ground, they found seven thousand graves. What
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: it was the site of the former Mississippi Lunatic Asylum,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: which is what they called it, you know, back in
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: the day, the Lunatic Sylum. They moved it, and so
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: when they went to dig up this part, the only
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: part that's left of the medical center that you could
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: build a building on. They had to like stop the
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: excavation and then now it's been a several year project
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: to identify all these people that are buried there and
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: then move a burial spot. Yeah wow. But because it's
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: called under the Yazoo clay, because the kind of clay
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: that is Mississippi is built on, the roads are really
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: bumpy and everything. Because it just moves a lot, it's
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: very I told her, it reminds me of whatever's happening
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: in Yellow Jackets, where the soils all red and it's
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: so it's very It literally has eaten all the bones.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: It's eating the caskets, eating the bones, eating the clothes,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: so all this.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: Left and eating the cats. It's eating the dogs.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: It's eating the cats, the bones, the dogs, it's eating everything.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: So they don't have a lot to go on for
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: a lot of these plots.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, very interesting. So I'm talking to her about that.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: She gave me an update on her other podcast, Devil
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: in the Ditch, where they she thinks her cousin killed
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: her grandmother. That was a good podcast too, wow. And
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: another one Doctor Miracle, which was about like this colt
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: where people were going in and he was saying he
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: was gonna cure them with something, and then they were
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: all like turning blue and then dying. Oh. She's done
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: some really good podcasts. So anyway, she's very interesting, very funny.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I like her a lot. She's fun to talk to.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: That's on Friday. That'll be a shortlist in thirty five minutes.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Maybe in addition to a ninety day Last Resort. I
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: just mentioned the Valley Love after Lock Up and Pop
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: and Bravo this week with my friend Mandy Suitsker. That'll
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: be fun.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: That's great.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: And I'm going to see The Grateful Dead on Thursday.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I'll be there for three shows in Vegas. If you
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: see me, come say hi.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: I just remembered I woke up. We had an earthquake
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: this morning. We were talking about the clay. When you
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: were talking about the clay shifting, I was like, wait, shifting,
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: I will. That's maybe one number of the reasons I'm
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: so tired.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: It wasn't a big one, obviously. You don't get like
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: big ones there in OC as much as they do
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: in La Right.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: It was five point two, what girl?
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: And it woke you up?
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Yeah? From It was in San Diego, which is very
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: close to me.
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: Gotta check on Gimbali the San Diego causing rock closure
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: and rock falls, river rock closures.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: When you close up the rocks, what does that mean?
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Like the roads are closed because big rocks have tumbled
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: down from the mountains onto the roads.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: I hope nobody was harder. Yeah, I didn't even hear
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: about that. But then you know, I don't watch the news.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: It's bad for my mental health. That and the throttle
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: bad for my mental health health. I didn't even say it. Okay, everybody,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: make sure to listen to Arika of the Baldwins that
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: will be on the ten dollars level of Pink Shape
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Prime and the Valley that'll be another thing over there,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: and on the five dollars level of pink Shape Prime
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: is ninety day the last resort. We're on three of five,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: four of I don't know, it's a million part Tell that's.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: What we're doing.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: And Oky, if you see me in Vegas this week,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: come and say hello, hey.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: Bye bye, thank you for having me.
