- 0:00Hello and welcome back to the episode of Bantu Lorencia.
- 0:02How are you all doing up? You're doing great.
- 0:05For today's episode, I want to talk about Madam Tracy O'hiri.
- 0:09Now this woman has been has been stressing us.
- 0:14I mean, if you're not stressed, I am I am completely stressed
- 0:17and tired. For some of you who don't know,
- 0:20according to Tracy O'hiri, she supplied souvenirs to Engineer
- 0:29David Omai when he was campaigning to be, I think, the
- 0:34governor of a Bonnie state or something like that in 2009.
- 0:37According to Tracy, she was contracted to supply the
- 0:41souvenirs for his campaign. She said it was about
- 0:4525,000,000. She did the contract.
- 0:48She said she delivered, but she was not paid.
- 0:51She said ever since then she has been chasing David Oh my to pay
- 0:56her and he has not or he has refused to pay her.
- 1:00She's been going on on, you know, different social media
- 1:03platforms, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, everywhere, trying to
- 1:08get the attention of David Oh my.
- 1:12Now David Oh my. Eventually, he's now the
- 1:16minister of Works and she is thinking, OK, he's back in the
- 1:22spotlight. Let me continue dragging him.
- 1:25She's been dragging him, I think since 22,000 and three, 2023.
- 1:29Sorry. And according to VDM, then he
- 1:33picked up the case, he talked about it, but he then proceeded
- 1:37to do other cases because According to him, she did not
- 1:41provide any evidence. Now Madam Tracy O'hiri, she was
- 1:48making videos talking about this whole thing.
- 1:51I'm dragging him. People now joined to drag David
- 1:55Omai because David on his own, he listen, his hands are not
- 1:59clean. There's this other lady that is
- 2:03dragging David Umahi because according to her, he kind of
- 2:08went encroached on her land, the land that was assigned to her to
- 2:12develop real estate for real estate development in Lagos.
- 2:16And David Umahi decided to take the land from her after people
- 2:20had paid money. So listen, David Umahi, he's
- 2:25not, he's not innocent. He's got his own, you know,
- 2:28problems. I am not trying to hold court
- 2:30for him. But that is the reality of
- 2:33things. And I think because the woman is
- 2:35dragging David Omayi Tracy also joined in the campaign.
- 2:40So people are thinking, listen, David, two women cannot be
- 2:44dragging you for no reason. Tracy is saying that the reason
- 2:48why you didn't pay her is because you wanted to sleep with
- 2:50her. This other lady can't remember
- 2:54her name. She's also dragging you,
- 2:55claiming the same thing. So something must be going on.
- 2:59So and then Natasha, Apothi Oduwaha and Senate President
- 3:07Apabio were all in the home mix, so people started dragging David
- 3:12Dumain. That kind of gave Tracy more,
- 3:16you know, Ginger to continue to drag him.
- 3:19Very dark man came out and talked about the whole thing and
- 3:21said, Oh yes, he talked about it in I think 2023 and then we're
- 3:25in 2026 that David should pay Tracy before you know what was
- 3:32going on. David Omaye, arrested, picked up
- 3:35Tracy from Lagos, I think, took her to Abuja, they took her to
- 3:39courts. There was a whole drama in
- 3:41courts because she fainted. She was taken to the hospital.
- 3:46Sure, I got involved. You know, sure is a human rights
- 3:49activist, He got involved. Very Dark Man also got involved.
- 3:52Some other activists got involved to try to see how they
- 3:56could resolve the whole thing. According to Very Dark Man, he
- 3:59assigned his lawyer, I remember his name, he assigned his lawyer
- 4:04to the case. So they were kind of trying to
- 4:07get Tracy out of trouble because according to the the the
- 4:12petition that was filed by engineer David Omaye, Tracy did
- 4:19not have any evidence. She's been calling him out.
- 4:22She does not have any contracts signed with him.
- 4:25So why is she calling him out? People are thinking, OK, if
- 4:29you're going to court, you have to provide evidence.
- 4:32There was no evidence. Sure, I was able to get Tracy
- 4:37out of the whole conundrum. She was able to go back to her
- 4:41family, go back to business, but she was still calling out David
- 4:45Omaye. And then very dark man's lawyer,
- 4:48according to the story, helped decide to play, you know, middle
- 4:53man in the whole thing. So he got in touch with David
- 4:59Omaye's camp because Tracy had said the goods she supplied in
- 5:0522,000 and 9 was about 25,000,000 naira contract that
- 5:11she she, you know, supplied to to David Dumai or to his
- 5:15campaign team. So the lawyer broker the deal
- 5:21with David's camp to say, listen, let us pay her some
- 5:26money. And also people, not David Umaya
- 5:30at this point, but his camp, you know, people around him, his
- 5:34political allies decided to get him out of that trouble.
- 5:40They made a call, they proposed, they said OK, we are going to
- 5:43meet you guys. Because what I think that was
- 5:47the problem, she was asking for her money.
- 5:51I think what Tracy failed to do at that point, the initial
- 5:56contract was 25,000,000. If you're asking for double that
- 6:00amount of money, you should have said if you're asking for
- 6:03damages, you should have stated if you because she didn't file
- 6:06any police reports. If she had filed something, it
- 6:10would have stated the figure that she wanted.
- 6:14But Tracy was going around saying give me my money, give my
- 6:17money. The money was 25,000,000.
- 6:19So the lawyer broke out the deal between David Dumai and Tracy.
- 6:26They call them. He said it was on speaker.
- 6:28They spoke. They told her OK, we can give
- 6:32you something. They went to Tracy.
- 6:35The lawyer took the deal to Tracy.
- 6:37Tracy agreed. They met the lawyer at that
- 6:40point didn't even know how much they were willing to pay Tracy.
- 6:45They paid her. When they opened the envelope it
- 6:48was 70 thousand U.S. dollars, which was about at that point
- 6:55100 million naira roughly. Tracy was happy the money was
- 7:01paid on the 12th, according to the story.
- 7:04Tracy, you know, was happy. We saw her in the gym, you know,
- 7:07dancing. People said OK, so that was when
- 7:11figures started flying around. No, not, not at that point when
- 7:17she was dancing on all that. Tracy then posted an apology
- 7:21video. And according to the agreement,
- 7:25if she was paid that's 70,000 dollars, she was going to make
- 7:31an apology video to engineer David Umayyi, which Tracy did.
- 7:37So people are now thinking, how can you make an apology?
- 7:41Like you collected money? You should have, you know, make
- 7:45it in a diplomatic way. People were fighting for you.
- 7:48People were rooting for you. So if you had settled the
- 7:52matter, you would have said, OK, I've settled this matter.
- 7:55I, myself and David Umayya were no longer fighting.
- 7:58We have resolved our issue. But what Tracy did was to
- 8:01retract everything she has said about engineer David Umayya.
- 8:06So people were not happy with Tracy.
- 8:09That was when Sure came out and said that the reason why she
- 8:13made that video was because she was paid 300 million naira.
- 8:18Sure worry was the one that put a figure to the amount that
- 8:23Tracy is not demanding for. So people were like, wow, Tracy,
- 8:28you were paid 300 million naira, where is the money?
- 8:32What happened, You know, we fought for you.
- 8:35You didn't even acknowledge us. People started saying that This
- 8:38is why you don't fight for people, because if you fight for
- 8:41people and they go around to settle the matter, you now
- 8:44become collateral damage. That happened.
- 8:48Tracy continued a business. Nobody knew what.
- 8:51Everybody just thought, OK, she has collected money, She has
- 8:54collected 300 million naira because it was sorry that put
- 8:57the figure out there. Now there was another case
- 9:02involving another IBU Chieftain and very dark man and his lawyer
- 9:11was able to collect I think over 600 million naira and then 150
- 9:17million naira for damages. Then Tracy was like, so this
- 9:26$70,000 is for my payments, What about damages?
- 9:32Tracy started calling out the lawyer to say that the lawyer
- 9:35deceived her. The lawyer lied to her.
- 9:37The lawyer, according to what people said, according to VDM.
- 9:41And according to Tracy, she made several videos saying that the
- 9:47lawyer should pay her her money. People like pay your money.
- 9:51You collected 300 million. It was the VDM that came out and
- 9:54said that she collected $70,000. So Tracy were like, OK, but I'm
- 10:04Tracy, your money was 25,000,000.
- 10:07You collected at least 100 million naira.
- 10:10What are you demanding for? Are you demanding for more
- 10:14money? Are you demanding for what?
- 10:18What is the colour of your problem?
- 10:22Tracy said that she's going to return the money, that she
- 10:24doesn't want the money, she wants to return the money.
- 10:27I think that was where she lost a whole lot of people.
- 10:31And I would say before you start anything, have an exit plan.
- 10:38Know exactly what you want out of it.
- 10:40Because at the end of the day, it's just like somebody asking
- 10:44you for 10 million naira and then you give them 10 million
- 10:49naira without asking questions. And they're like, Oh my God, I
- 10:53should have asked for 100 million.
- 10:55I should have asked for maybe 200 million.
- 10:58Why did I not ask for more money?
- 11:00I think that is what Tracy is currently suffering and she is
- 11:06losing a whole lot of people. She is making people not to
- 11:10believe people who come out and cry.
- 11:13The whole analysis online right now is now focused on the fact
- 11:16that you allegedly delivered souvenirs to David Omaye.
- 11:23There was no contract. Did you deliver to David Omayi?
- 11:27You did not. You said you delivered to
- 11:29somebody. They called the person who you
- 11:32allegedly delivered to. They said they don't know you.
- 11:38Did she actually deliver something to David?
- 11:40I believe that she did because at the end of the day there were
- 11:43pictures of herself and David Omayi and his assistants.
- 11:48So she was actually contracted for something and was not paid.
- 11:53That is not even the question. The question now is how much is
- 11:59Tracy demanding for? Tracy has been paid $70,000 /
- 12:05100 million naira. Her initial claim was $25,000.
- 12:12Twenty 5025 million naira. So if you're being paid, you
- 12:17have over at least, let's say, 60 million naira in addition to
- 12:22anything, everything. So even right now you're saying
- 12:28you want compensation. Why was that not on the table?
- 12:32Why did you not make that clear? Why did you not state a figure
- 12:36that this is what I want? I think this is where her case
- 12:41is now looking like a witch hunt.
- 12:44I think this is where, gosh, she has started calling out
- 12:46everybody. She was fighting the lawyer.
- 12:48She's fighting very dark man. She is fighting anybody that
- 12:51tells her the truth. You don't have a contract.
- 12:58Yes, you delivered goods worth of 25,000,000 naira.
- 13:01You were paid OK. How many years later?
- 13:05Let's say 13 years later? But if you are demanding for
- 13:09interest, that should have been stated from the beginning.
- 13:13You don't allow people to just give you a figure.
- 13:16And then you're now saying that is not enough.
- 13:18If they had given her maybe $50,000, she would have said,
- 13:22oh, I need more money. And if they had added that
- 13:25$20,000 to make it 70,000, she would have been fine.
- 13:29But I think that the problem is she is is is greed, is just
- 13:34greed in this economy. Somebody gave you $70,000.
- 13:41According to her, she needs $70,000.
- 13:43Cannot buy her a container. She needs to buy a container.
- 13:47Container is about 200 million or $200,000.
- 13:50I don't even know how much she was calling.
- 13:55Tracy needs to rest. It's becoming clouds chasing.
- 14:01I saw her videos, I've seen her videos and I just thought
- 14:07anybody chasing government contracts are you not paid?
- 14:10You are either because two things are involved.
- 14:17You're chasing government money that can either easily make you
- 14:22or break you. Most people who have financial
- 14:25problems, people who are you know who have money who used to
- 14:29be very big, if you ask them what made them, they will tell
- 14:33you government contract. And some of them who had those
- 14:37monies or those influence or those financial or those wealth
- 14:41and later fell down or later lost all their money, it will
- 14:47always be government contract. So to my understanding of my my
- 14:54opinion is that Stacy was at Tracy was at least lucky to have
- 14:58received that amount of money. Was she happy with it?
- 15:02The answer is no, so let me know what you think.
- 15:06Do you think that Tracy deserve more money?
- 15:11She deserves to be paid. Tracy is now demanding for the
- 15:14300 million naira that Solari had mentioned she was paid.
- 15:19That was where the figure is coming from because somebody
- 15:21mentioned you were paid that amount of money.
- 15:23Does she deserve to be paid 300 million naira or even though she
- 15:29has not filed any reports? The initial contract was
- 15:3325,000,000. She has been giving over 100
- 15:35million. Does she deserve more money?
- 15:38Let me know what you think. Thank you very much for watching
- 15:40this episode. Please like, like, like and
