- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with IR Radio. Hello everyone, welcome to a special edition
- 0:09Speaker 1: of Well Help by Second Dating with Help with a
- 0:14Speaker 1: crossover Almost famis. So there is four hosts on this podcast.
- 0:22Speaker 1: It is myself, Ashley Liken, Eddie Hello, Um, Ben Higgins,
- 0:27Speaker 1: my husband Jared Haven, and his partner, his par co host,
- 0:33Speaker 1: the Legend Dean Ungler. And today we're gonna be talking
- 0:38Speaker 1: all about like home stuff. It's a special episode because
- 0:44Speaker 1: we have a very special sponsor in Gap Home. Um,
- 0:49Speaker 1: So we're gonna talk about, you know, buying houses, remodeling, decorating,
- 0:53Speaker 1: all the things because it's kind of relevant in all
- 0:56Speaker 1: of our lives right now. Hello boys, Hello girl, I
- 1:00Speaker 1: am a man. She just threw up so much macaroni
- 1:03Speaker 1: and she's like two pounds worth. I'm not joking. You
- 1:06Speaker 1: didn't even see the bag. I did not see the bag,
- 1:09Speaker 1: but I heard about what happened afterwards. I gotta recap.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Not good, not good. That's okay. We're doing better. We're
- 1:16Speaker 1: doing better. How are you guys doing? Ben? How are
- 1:19Speaker 1: you doing, Buddy? I'm doing well. Um. I'm happy to
- 1:23Speaker 1: be here with you guys. This is uh, this is
- 1:26Speaker 1: a little bit of unfamiliar territory with me. I just
- 1:30Speaker 1: want to make sure that I hold up to the
- 1:33Speaker 1: standards of help. I suck at dating during this show.
- 1:37Speaker 1: It's tough, but I think I think you can do it.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I don't know. You think he's got what it takes. Listen,
- 1:42Speaker 1: It's not gonna be easy, but Ben is the kind
- 1:44Speaker 1: of guy that's gonna put the work in I think
- 1:46Speaker 1: to to really just be on our on our level. So, guys,
- 1:50Speaker 1: I have to admit something to you right now. I
- 1:54Speaker 1: blew my knee out two days ago, and so I'm
- 1:58Speaker 1: currently in at frustrated state in my life because I
- 2:03Speaker 1: think it's finally hit me that basketball and I may
- 2:06Speaker 1: need to be retired, which which really hurts my feelings.
- 2:11Speaker 1: You could be the prototypical guy that just sits on
- 2:13Speaker 1: the outside of the three point line, and just like
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm open, I'm open, baby, You're like Bill Murray from
- 2:17Speaker 1: Space Jam. That's what your future with a knee brace
- 2:20Speaker 1: and elbow pads and a headband. That's my dream, um
- 2:25Speaker 1: and probably a helmet and justin case you never in
- 2:28Speaker 1: case the uh, I was playing basketball. I went to
- 2:31Speaker 1: a gathering of of people in business and pastors in
- 2:36Speaker 1: San Diego, and Uh, in the afternoon, they were like,
- 2:40Speaker 1: let's play some basketball. So I got down there. They
- 2:42Speaker 1: were playing a little more intense than I thought, so
- 2:44Speaker 1: I had to pick up the level of intensity myself.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Grabbed a rebound. It just like makes me sweat telling this.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Actually grabbed a rebound, dribble down the floor the court
- 2:56Speaker 1: and a guy step in front of me. So I
- 2:58Speaker 1: went with the I was dripping with my left tand
- 3:00Speaker 1: went with the left handed pushed to the side, so
- 3:02Speaker 1: I cut hard on the right, kind of like a
- 3:04Speaker 1: nice euro step in the middle of the court, and uh,
- 3:07Speaker 1: the knee just popped and it dislocated to the side.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It was hanging and so now you know, I already
- 3:14Speaker 1: had tore my a c l and I've never got
- 3:16Speaker 1: it fixed. So I tore something else in there. I
- 3:18Speaker 1: don't know what it is. But when I stand up
- 3:20Speaker 1: and I just let it hang it, I can feel
- 3:22Speaker 1: it separate. Good Lord, Yeah, that's pretty good stuff. So
- 3:28Speaker 1: how do we make this full circle? Ben, We'll be
- 3:31Speaker 1: on the couch for the foreseeable future having his knee up.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Make sure he's resting. And speaking of couches, were represent
- 3:36Speaker 1: would they sponsor this podcast? Of course, is gap Home,
- 3:39Speaker 1: which is exclusively at warmar Walmart, which is the timeless
- 3:43Speaker 1: American style for modern living. Actually knows a thing about
- 3:47Speaker 1: two about modern living. She's a big modern girl, so
- 3:49Speaker 1: am I. Yeah, we like modern things. We don't like
- 3:53Speaker 1: that modern like you and I like modern, but not
- 3:56Speaker 1: like really really modern. Dean, is the is the van modern?
- 3:59Speaker 1: Would you say that's like a modern style? I I
- 4:03Speaker 1: wasn't ready for us to shift away from this Ben's
- 4:05Speaker 1: knee conversation. I gotta go back to this for a second.
- 4:09Speaker 1: So Ben, why are you not recording from like the
- 4:11Speaker 1: inside of an m r I machine at the moment?
- 4:13Speaker 1: Like why are you at home? Why are you not
- 4:15Speaker 1: in surgery on your knee? What's going on? A few
- 4:17Speaker 1: things going through my head, Dean, thanks for asking. Um.
- 4:21Speaker 1: One is i have my golf club championship this weekend,
- 4:25Speaker 1: so I'm trying everyone, So I'm trying to pit. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: get it. I can to wrap it tight, put a
- 4:33Speaker 1: brace on it, and go tiger this thing to the end.
- 4:36Speaker 1: The second thing is I'm really concerned boys and girls
- 4:41Speaker 1: for a November wedding. Um, And if I went in
- 4:45Speaker 1: to get a m. I even though I don't have
- 4:47Speaker 1: to schedule my surgery, I'm assuming they're going to push
- 4:49Speaker 1: for that, and I just don't know when now in
- 4:52Speaker 1: my life i'll be able to do that, which means
- 4:53Speaker 1: ski season is done, which means I'm laid up for
- 4:56Speaker 1: a few months. And so I'm mostly today in a
- 4:58Speaker 1: in a in a time of contemplation. I already kind
- 5:01Speaker 1: of was in a mental fragility state. I had moved
- 5:04Speaker 1: past that. I'm getting a lot of clarity in life.
- 5:06Speaker 1: So now I'm just kind of bummed today. Um, it's
- 5:10Speaker 1: kind of sad. I don't you know how it is Dean,
- 5:12Speaker 1: you had a big injury, kind of change his life
- 5:14Speaker 1: a lot, and I'm just sad. Well, I'm no medical expert,
- 5:17Speaker 1: but I am pretty sure that if your knee is
- 5:19Speaker 1: separating when you stand up straight, um, you probably need
- 5:23Speaker 1: to have some sort of medical like professional medical attention
- 5:26Speaker 1: on that knee. Um. But yeah, yeah, I mean I
- 5:30Speaker 1: it's I don't end your situation, man, that stinks. Yeah,
- 5:32Speaker 1: the wedding, you'll definitely be walking by then. If you
- 5:34Speaker 1: get your surgery, and like the next that's gonna ask
- 5:37Speaker 1: you potentially not be able to walk down the aisle
- 5:40Speaker 1: if you have surgery soon, I mean like after the
- 5:42Speaker 1: golf championship obviously. Yeah, there's always a cane, which I
- 5:45Speaker 1: think is a solid move. Like I think that I
- 5:48Speaker 1: don't hate that idea at all. Walking down the aisle
- 5:51Speaker 1: with a cane would be pretty awesome. Ben. This really
- 5:55Speaker 1: like ties into the fact that you still want to
- 5:56Speaker 1: be the host of the older person's Bacheler. Guys know
- 6:00Speaker 1: that I'm really throwing my name out there in a
- 6:02Speaker 1: very like non quiet way, like, Hey, I'm here, and
- 6:05Speaker 1: I I would love I feel like a cane can
- 6:09Speaker 1: only help your chances there exactly. All right, Well, you guys,
- 6:13Speaker 1: we are here to talk about home stuff. We have
- 6:16Speaker 1: Ari lion Dyke coming on to not only talk home
- 6:18Speaker 1: stuff because he is a realtor, but also talk about
- 6:23Speaker 1: his two newborn twins and how Lauren's doing. She was
- 6:27Speaker 1: just recently in the hospital. And then we have some
- 6:30Speaker 1: HDTV favorites, Chris Lambton and his wife Peyton Lambton, who
- 6:35Speaker 1: have a weird bachelor story. They are a bachelor couple,
- 6:37Speaker 1: but a lot of people don't know about it. Um, Okay,
- 6:39Speaker 1: so let's go around the circle here and like talk
- 6:42Speaker 1: about like what you're currently like, what your current living
- 6:45Speaker 1: situation is. I think, uh, I can start here just
- 6:49Speaker 1: to kick us off, and then Dan can goes. So. UM,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I bought a house that Dean's been to, I know,
- 6:56Speaker 1: in downtown Denver, like uh eight years ago and so
- 7:01Speaker 1: it's a small little house. And so Jessica and I
- 7:03Speaker 1: when she moved out here, decided, Hey, we're gonna start
- 7:06Speaker 1: planning for a future and we're just looking at homes.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Found the home that we love in Golden Colorado. Um
- 7:12Speaker 1: and so so where I'm currently sitting right now. But
- 7:15Speaker 1: the house was pretty much redone. However, we had like
- 7:17Speaker 1: a few small projects that we want to work on.
- 7:19Speaker 1: One was a back deck, uh that we soon found
- 7:22Speaker 1: out was going to be astronomically expensive during this time
- 7:26Speaker 1: of COVID because lumber is expensive. So we kind of
- 7:29Speaker 1: paused that, but we did this side that we uh,
- 7:33Speaker 1: we're gonna do our master bathroom and uh. And if
- 7:36Speaker 1: you fall along with Jessica's Instagram or mine at times,
- 7:39Speaker 1: you can see this journey unfold. We started in February.
- 7:42Speaker 1: We have great people working on the house. UM. I
- 7:45Speaker 1: hope they listen to this podcast. They are insanely slow.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Um it is. Uh. We're like seven months in and
- 7:53Speaker 1: I had demoed the whole thing myself, and so I
- 7:56Speaker 1: kind of cleaned it out for him, got everything out
- 7:58Speaker 1: of there, got the plumbing all capped off, and then thought, Okay,
- 8:02Speaker 1: they're gonna come in. And they told us a month
- 8:04Speaker 1: long project to do the tile and paint and put
- 8:07Speaker 1: the flooring down. This is why I don't want to
- 8:10Speaker 1: buy an older house and remodel. We're at months seven
- 8:14Speaker 1: and uh, and we're still going. Now it's getting closer.
- 8:17Speaker 1: There's a tub in, now, there's a shower, and we'll
- 8:18Speaker 1: do the big reveal here soon because I know everybody
- 8:20Speaker 1: really cares about that. Um, it's really pretty. I like it.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Jessica has been then, uh decorating this house uh with uh,
- 8:28Speaker 1: with a couple of interior designers. UH. And it's coming together.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Here's the problem, and I'll stop here and everybody. I
- 8:35Speaker 1: think people out there can relate. So our bathroom. You know,
- 8:37Speaker 1: they're cutting tile, they're moving tile. I have random people
- 8:40Speaker 1: in and out out of this house at all times
- 8:42Speaker 1: of the day. It's where I'm working from now and uh,
- 8:45Speaker 1: and there's dust everywhere, and you just can't keep up
- 8:48Speaker 1: with it, Like it's just everywhere, and so we haven't
- 8:50Speaker 1: like hung pictures or anything because everything here is getting dusty.
- 8:54Speaker 1: So the walls are still pretty barren. But we're in it,
- 8:56Speaker 1: like we are full on making a home for ourselves,
- 8:59Speaker 1: so uh that we're prepped and ready to go. That's
- 9:02Speaker 1: where we're at. So we're kind of in this whole
- 9:04Speaker 1: remodeling stage and we need furniture. We need um all
- 9:10Speaker 1: the stuff that you'd have in a house. And it's
- 9:12Speaker 1: a lot bigger. It's like four times as big as
- 9:15Speaker 1: my house in Denver. So like I think I filled
- 9:18Speaker 1: one room here with like furniture. Hey Ben, fun fun fact,
- 9:24Speaker 1: your guys, interior decorator is the same one as mine Kalin's.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Aren't they awesome? The interior decorator has been incredible. So
- 9:32Speaker 1: I haven't really worked very much with them. That's kind
- 9:33Speaker 1: of been like Kalen's thing, um, but yeah, I mean
- 9:36Speaker 1: they seem pretty good. I think it's funny because Calin
- 9:39Speaker 1: always wants to have control over everything that that we're
- 9:41Speaker 1: putting into our house. So like the interior decorator will
- 9:43Speaker 1: come with like three really good ideas and she'll like
- 9:45Speaker 1: use those ideas to like put her like make her
- 9:48Speaker 1: own thing out of it. You know, she just like
- 9:49Speaker 1: kind of needs like a launching pad. But now she's
- 9:51Speaker 1: been great. And it's funny too, because, um, I'm sure
- 9:55Speaker 1: our houses will look very similar decorated at least just
- 9:58Speaker 1: because we have the same interior decorator. But um, is
- 10:02Speaker 1: it I've got a really awkward question to ask you.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Can I ask it? Yeah, definitely too late. You have
- 10:08Speaker 1: to ask it now. Curiosity will be the best of us.
- 10:11Speaker 1: So I know you're in this house now in Golden
- 10:13Speaker 1: But before you got that house, was it weird living
- 10:16Speaker 1: in the house with Jess and Denver she never lived there. Oh,
- 10:21Speaker 1: she didn't live there. It was weird. That's a good question.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That's a fair question. Uh. I knew like pretty quickly,
- 10:29Speaker 1: like because there's like you know, Lauren lived there. Um
- 10:33Speaker 1: there was random stuff like that was like I like
- 10:36Speaker 1: I had not even noticed that was not mine that
- 10:38Speaker 1: was sitting around or like even old pictures that had
- 10:41Speaker 1: been thrown in like one of the like um shelvy
- 10:44Speaker 1: like in in like storage that like I just had
- 10:48Speaker 1: no clue of um and so, and it like had
- 10:51Speaker 1: a lot of memories and I know Jessica Like it
- 10:53Speaker 1: was just like it was very clear to me and her, like, hey,
- 10:56Speaker 1: we needed something new because this has too much history
- 10:59Speaker 1: in it and has too many stories. There's a show
- 11:02Speaker 1: filmed from it like there, we needed something new. So
- 11:04Speaker 1: it wasn't even a hard decision, uh for us to
- 11:07Speaker 1: to to move out the sad thing because I hope
- 11:10Speaker 1: Jessica doesn't mind me sharing this. UM is up here.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I moved a lot of stuff up here. And the
- 11:16Speaker 1: other day she she's so sweet. I mean, I just
- 11:18Speaker 1: love that girl. And she was sitting at the kitchen table.
- 11:20Speaker 1: She goes, can I ask you a question? I said yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 1: And she pulls out some like old pictures and uh
- 11:27Speaker 1: and says that was like from like it was like
- 11:29Speaker 1: from a show that we did, Um was it Happily
- 11:32Speaker 1: ever after? A question Mark? UM? But there's like pictures,
- 11:37Speaker 1: like promo pictures of it. And she's like, were you
- 11:39Speaker 1: holding onto these like for a reason? Because I just
- 11:41Speaker 1: want to know why. And I was like, oh my gosh,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I had no clue, Like where did you find these?
- 11:45Speaker 1: She was like, they're in the TV stand. I was
- 11:47Speaker 1: looking for the chord for the TV. I saw him
- 11:50Speaker 1: and she was just like I could just see in
- 11:51Speaker 1: her face like were you holding on these was like
- 11:53Speaker 1: I'm not at all, Like please just like do what
- 11:56Speaker 1: you need with these things. And so you know, this
- 12:00Speaker 1: just feels like a new spot for us. And there's
- 12:02Speaker 1: still those things. So yes, we in short, we moved
- 12:04Speaker 1: out because it would have been weird. Did you guys
- 12:06Speaker 1: throw out those pictures? Yes? Yes, but I did, Uh
- 12:10Speaker 1: I did. Uh. They were in nice picture frames, so
- 12:13Speaker 1: we kept the picture frames through money, that's valuable. But
- 12:19Speaker 1: the picture you needed to save you got a budget. Yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 1: they're they're not here any longer. Um, we we got
- 12:25Speaker 1: rid of those. Also, just to elaverybody who know that's listening,
- 12:29Speaker 1: Kate Susanna and her husband Michael are the two doing
- 12:33Speaker 1: Dina and I's house. Is if you're ever interested in
- 12:35Speaker 1: a in a decorator, how do you have the same
- 12:37Speaker 1: decorator in different states? Virtual? It's all virtual. Virtual. I
- 12:42Speaker 1: think I think Klin saw Jess's like in spowboard or
- 12:46Speaker 1: something like that, and she was curious as she reached
- 12:48Speaker 1: out to Jess right and Jess got him in touch
- 12:49Speaker 1: or something like that, and it's it's crazy. I mean,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm sure everyone here can attest, like I'm probably the
- 12:55Speaker 1: one that can test the least, honestly, Like how much
- 12:57Speaker 1: uh like nuance and like little design pieces just go
- 13:00Speaker 1: into a house before it really starts to feel more
- 13:02Speaker 1: comfortable and like a home. Right, Like as a guy
- 13:05Speaker 1: growing up, I would always just throw a couple of
- 13:06Speaker 1: posters on the wall, make sure there's a big TV
- 13:09Speaker 1: in the living room, and be done with it. But
- 13:10Speaker 1: like the way that Calin has been able to decorate
- 13:13Speaker 1: the house that we live in now, and like the
- 13:14Speaker 1: you know, the house that we share in Los Angeles
- 13:16Speaker 1: in her apartment before that, they really like the little
- 13:18Speaker 1: things make such a big difference and stuff that I
- 13:20Speaker 1: would never even consider. Have you had many decisions like
- 13:22Speaker 1: or is it do you think it's Is it mostly
- 13:24Speaker 1: Kalin who's decorating this house? Or are you putting your
- 13:27Speaker 1: input in? Dan Um? I mean I put my input
- 13:29Speaker 1: in definitely. I Like I'll pick up little trinkets on
- 13:32Speaker 1: my travels, Like in Mexico I found like a sweet
- 13:34Speaker 1: obsidian horse head uh, And I was like, I don't know,
- 13:38Speaker 1: I spent way too much money on It's like this
- 13:41Speaker 1: would be really cool, like a good centerpiece I got
- 13:44Speaker 1: like this big chunk of wood. Um, like the backyard design,
- 13:48Speaker 1: I've got a big part in. I'm sure Kalin's thrilled.
- 13:51Speaker 1: The only thing Dean brings to the table. Hey, I
- 13:52Speaker 1: got you a horsehead and a piece of wood. Dude,
- 13:55Speaker 1: the horse that is sweet. I'll send you guys a
- 13:57Speaker 1: picture of the horsehead. But I really like any she's
- 13:59Speaker 1: She says she really likes it too, so I guess
- 14:01Speaker 1: I don't. And it matches her aesthetic really well, So
- 14:03Speaker 1: I'm keeping all that in mind. But but no, she's
- 14:06Speaker 1: like read on the closets and everything on her own
- 14:07Speaker 1: accord um, and she's mostly doing everything else. But I'll
- 14:11Speaker 1: time and when I can. Her big thing is like, well,
- 14:14Speaker 1: I guess my big thing is like I'd rather build
- 14:16Speaker 1: something than like spend five x the amount of money
- 14:20Speaker 1: on like a pre fab preconstructed like bedframe or something
- 14:24Speaker 1: like that. So there's like issues where I'll start a
- 14:27Speaker 1: project to get like the way done with it and
- 14:30Speaker 1: then like not touch it for a while. So there's
- 14:32Speaker 1: like a bit of a mess in the house in places.
- 14:34Speaker 1: But um, that's like probably our biggest current issue. Welcome
- 14:39Speaker 1: to the life of living with somebody. Well, Hey, um,
- 14:42Speaker 1: we do have some experts coming on the podcast is
- 14:45Speaker 1: actually mentioned the beginning are Lion Dyke, who's realtor who
- 14:48Speaker 1: flips homes, who understands the market, especially in his area
- 14:52Speaker 1: of Scottsdale. And then uh, Peyton Lambert coming on here, Um,
- 14:56Speaker 1: some just h G TV stars. They're actually in the
- 14:59Speaker 1: waiting room, so let's bring them on. Hey, welcome back
- 15:11Speaker 1: to the almost famous help by suck At Dating Joint podcast,
- 15:15Speaker 1: which is currently being you know, obviously dominated by suck
- 15:18Speaker 1: Army because as Dean and I know, we're both awesome.
- 15:21Speaker 1: But we have some very special guests who are currently
- 15:23Speaker 1: on the line. You know that from HDTV, but they're
- 15:25Speaker 1: also a bachelor couple. It is Chris and Peyton Lambton,
- 15:30Speaker 1: Chris and Payton, how are you? We're doing great? How
- 15:34Speaker 1: are you guys? Good? Yea you guys? How does it
- 15:41Speaker 1: feel to be a bachelor couple? And honestly, like you've
- 15:44Speaker 1: met in the two thousands, tens and yet I don't
- 15:49Speaker 1: know that people consider you a bachelor couple because you've
- 15:51Speaker 1: met in a very unconventional way, and give us a
- 15:54Speaker 1: little bit of background how you met, because honestly, I
- 15:56Speaker 1: didn't know that you guys were from the Bachelor franchise. Yes,
- 15:58Speaker 1: So we met in North Carolina at Jimmy V golf tournament.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Jesse Beck, who was on my season of The Bachelor
- 16:05Speaker 1: Pad was on Christmas season of Bachelorette, And it was
- 16:08Speaker 1: one of those things like Jesse and I became friends
- 16:11Speaker 1: and he's like, Yo, you gotta meet my friend Chris.
- 16:13Speaker 1: We'll all be friends. And then he and I met
- 16:15Speaker 1: and we got engaged and got married. So its history.
- 16:19Speaker 1: That's incredible. Yeah, So you got married in what year,
- 16:24Speaker 1: two thousand twelve? All right, and then, uh, your lives
- 16:28Speaker 1: kind of like skyrocketed, right, You're you're you're known then,
- 16:33Speaker 1: uh for your ability to make a house a home
- 16:37Speaker 1: and the two of you have been working on this,
- 16:39Speaker 1: like within that world for for how long? So we
- 16:43Speaker 1: are first show on h G t V was called
- 16:45Speaker 1: Going Yard and we had that in in literally two
- 16:48Speaker 1: thousand and twelves and two thousand and twelve, we've got
- 16:49Speaker 1: our first show. We got married, we moved in together.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I mean a lot happened that year for us. Uh,
- 16:55Speaker 1: And it was cool though, like h G t V
- 16:58Speaker 1: reached out to him because that him and in the office,
- 17:00Speaker 1: we're Big Bachelor fans. They saw that he was a landscaper.
- 17:04Speaker 1: They're like, we should have this guy in. And then
- 17:07Speaker 1: I like conveniently made myself available when they came to
- 17:10Speaker 1: shoot him. Yeah, she like snuggled right up and she
- 17:12Speaker 1: had her Southern accent, you know, beautiful, and she they
- 17:15Speaker 1: were like, oh, you guys, we should do the show
- 17:17Speaker 1: with both you guys together. You know, it worked out
- 17:20Speaker 1: well for me because I'm like, all right, I can
- 17:21Speaker 1: dig a hole, I can plan something, I can't make
- 17:24Speaker 1: anything beautiful, you know. That's what she comes in with,
- 17:27Speaker 1: like the pills, the rugs, making everything like tie together.
- 17:30Speaker 1: So it was it was perfect. And so I'm curious
- 17:33Speaker 1: what you guys think about um working together. Now. I
- 17:37Speaker 1: know you guys are married, you have kids together, you
- 17:39Speaker 1: work together, Ashley is pregnant. You know, a lot of
- 17:43Speaker 1: the things that we do in terms of work, we
- 17:46Speaker 1: do together. So how do you balance that? How do
- 17:49Speaker 1: you balance your life between family, work, spending quality time together?
- 17:53Speaker 1: Because I know there's a big difference between spending time
- 17:55Speaker 1: with one another and spending quality time together, So how
- 17:57Speaker 1: do you balance that? Well, First, congratulations to you guys,
- 18:01Speaker 1: this is really exciting time I'm over the moon for
- 18:05Speaker 1: you to experience this next phase of life. Well, thank you,
- 18:09Speaker 1: that's why the growth right now. No, you look amazing, UM,
- 18:15Speaker 1: so balanced, Like, yeah, you know you're together all the time. Um,
- 18:20Speaker 1: I think working together, Chris and I learned very quickly
- 18:23Speaker 1: to stay in our lanes. Um. You know, he does
- 18:27Speaker 1: what he does very well. I do what I do
- 18:29Speaker 1: very well. And uh we try not to cross over
- 18:32Speaker 1: that line um and offer unsolicited advice. Um. But then,
- 18:38Speaker 1: but now, like when you throw kids in the next
- 18:40Speaker 1: and like Joe, that's a great questions because we're together
- 18:43Speaker 1: a lot with the kids a lot. But then you
- 18:44Speaker 1: still have to, like now especially you have to like
- 18:46Speaker 1: make time for like a date night or to get
- 18:48Speaker 1: out together because you need that alone time to you know,
- 18:52Speaker 1: connect and be be with each other and not talk
- 18:54Speaker 1: about work or your kids. Yeah. I guess that's one thing.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I'm your whole life is about working kids. Well, I
- 19:01Speaker 1: guess that's what fair point. That's one thing I'm nervous
- 19:05Speaker 1: about because there's other things that I want to still
- 19:08Speaker 1: be able to do as well. I want to hang
- 19:09Speaker 1: out with my friends or go golfing. But you know,
- 19:12Speaker 1: with with having a child, that's really going to change
- 19:14Speaker 1: our lives. And you know, we're gonna put so much
- 19:16Speaker 1: of our effort into our our family and our work
- 19:20Speaker 1: and then and also our relationship. I I you know,
- 19:24Speaker 1: Ashley and I spent so much time together, but a
- 19:26Speaker 1: lot of it, as she said, is talking about work.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And I know once a kid comes, it will be
- 19:30Speaker 1: talking about the kid and not so much us anymore.
- 19:33Speaker 1: So that's why I was asking you too, how do
- 19:36Speaker 1: you how do you balance that? Because I guess in
- 19:38Speaker 1: my mind, you know, when we spend so much time together,
- 19:42Speaker 1: a lot of it isn't quality time. And I think
- 19:44Speaker 1: she gets frustrated with me because whenever I get a
- 19:46Speaker 1: free moment, I'm like, Okay, I'm gonna go golf with
- 19:48Speaker 1: my friends, and she's like, yeah, but we haven't gone
- 19:50Speaker 1: on a date. And I'm like, well, we spent the
- 19:52Speaker 1: past three days straight together and she's like, yeah, but
- 19:55Speaker 1: that's not quality time. That was you know, we were
- 19:57Speaker 1: doing work things, and and so I no, I wanted
- 20:00Speaker 1: to get your piece of advice and tell me what
- 20:02Speaker 1: to do. But I think even when we work together,
- 20:05Speaker 1: it's it's quality time together. Because a lot of couples
- 20:08Speaker 1: don't get to work together, you know, like some couples, like,
- 20:11Speaker 1: you know, I might work nine to five and then
- 20:12Speaker 1: she might work nights, and then you know, you would
- 20:14Speaker 1: just be like two ships crossing the night. That's what
- 20:16Speaker 1: my parents were like growing up because my mom worked nights,
- 20:18Speaker 1: my dad worked days, so they barely saw each other.
- 20:20Speaker 1: So I think, even you know, today we're working together
- 20:24Speaker 1: setting stuff up. It was work, but it was almost
- 20:27Speaker 1: like quality time because we were away from the kids.
- 20:29Speaker 1: We have to hang out. We had like a lunch
- 20:31Speaker 1: on the go together. So even though it's not like
- 20:35Speaker 1: what a typical date night, quality time together is, I
- 20:39Speaker 1: still cherish it because it's even we're getting the chance
- 20:42Speaker 1: to work together that a lot of couples don't get
- 20:44Speaker 1: that chance, and you know, we're we're fortunate to be
- 20:47Speaker 1: able to do that. I feel yeah, And I mean
- 20:48Speaker 1: it's just like you're entering this different pace of life
- 20:51Speaker 1: and I think you just have to embrace it and
- 20:53Speaker 1: accept it that, yeah, things are gonna be different, and
- 20:57Speaker 1: your relationship is going to be different, your relationship your
- 21:00Speaker 1: kids is gonna be like this whole new experience that
- 21:04Speaker 1: you don't know what's to come. But I think that
- 21:06Speaker 1: if you guys, can always make sure that you are
- 21:09Speaker 1: connecting with one another because those for a few months
- 21:12Speaker 1: with a newborn, like you know you're gonna be sleep deprived.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Just just make sure you're like still seeing each other. Well,
- 21:19Speaker 1: one thing too, that all four of these hosts have
- 21:22Speaker 1: in common is we're all in a fairly large transition
- 21:26Speaker 1: phases in our life. We're starting to become adults and
- 21:28Speaker 1: act serious about life. And we've don't do it. No, no,
- 21:33Speaker 1: we're you know, just just my best not to being
- 21:37Speaker 1: doing the best job right now. And I'm proud of
- 21:39Speaker 1: him for it. But we uh, we're moving into new homes. Uh,
- 21:43Speaker 1: we're starting to set up homes. I don't know if
- 21:46Speaker 1: COVID had a little bit to do that with that.
- 21:48Speaker 1: We're like, hey, let's just like start to settle down,
- 21:50Speaker 1: put roofs of our heads, build a home for our families.
- 21:54Speaker 1: But uh, during the pandemic, we saw some problem I mean,
- 21:58Speaker 1: I'm assuming we saw some themes change in terms of
- 22:02Speaker 1: decorating and outdoor spaces for all of us. If you
- 22:05Speaker 1: give us some advice or some like trends as we
- 22:08Speaker 1: start to develop our homes, what kind of trends are
- 22:10Speaker 1: you are you seeing Um, Yeah, I mean I think
- 22:14Speaker 1: that you have to look at your outdoor space is
- 22:16Speaker 1: another room of your house. And through the pandemic, a
- 22:19Speaker 1: lot of people realize that you have to extend beyond
- 22:24Speaker 1: the inside of your house. Um to make more livable space.
- 22:28Speaker 1: A lot of people don't have big houses, but you
- 22:30Speaker 1: may have a yard, you may have a deck, You
- 22:32Speaker 1: have somewhere to go outside, So use it and use
- 22:36Speaker 1: it how you want to. You know, it's like you
- 22:38Speaker 1: can see trends and you can see pinterest in HDTV
- 22:42Speaker 1: and what all these people are doing. But if that's
- 22:43Speaker 1: not what you want to do, and that's not what
- 22:45Speaker 1: your life encompasses, then you know, just sit back and
- 22:49Speaker 1: and figure out how you want to use that space.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Do you want to eat outside, do you want to
- 22:54Speaker 1: entertain outside, do you want to play games outside? It's
- 22:57Speaker 1: kind of you have to tailor it to what your
- 22:59Speaker 1: interests are. And I've seen during the pandemic is that
- 23:03Speaker 1: you know, patios, fire pits, outdoor kitchens. I mean, people
- 23:08Speaker 1: can't get enough them in their backyard. People entertained be
- 23:11Speaker 1: outside so they can still have friends come over, you know,
- 23:14Speaker 1: social distance or whatever you need to do in the backyard,
- 23:16Speaker 1: but it's a lot easier. And then people who have
- 23:18Speaker 1: kids like we do, like if other people the kids
- 23:21Speaker 1: come over, the last thing I want is a lot
- 23:22Speaker 1: of kids running around my house destroying stuff. So everyone
- 23:26Speaker 1: to the back, get them off your lawn. Yeah yeah,
- 23:29Speaker 1: in the backyard the lawn, ye know. Yeah. So we
- 23:34Speaker 1: have we have a big patio with like we have
- 23:37Speaker 1: like an oversized like dining room tables. We can sit
- 23:39Speaker 1: outside enjoy it out there. Um a lot of raised
- 23:42Speaker 1: planters and vegetable gardens because now people like to have
- 23:45Speaker 1: their own place to grow their own flowers and veggies
- 23:47Speaker 1: in the backyard. So you've seen a lot that people
- 23:50Speaker 1: have turned their backyards into kind of like an oasis
- 23:52Speaker 1: where they can sit out there entertaining, have dinner, and
- 23:55Speaker 1: then after we'd sit by a fire pit, have a
- 23:56Speaker 1: glass of wine. I've got a question kind of for
- 23:58Speaker 1: everyone when it comes to uh more so like budgeting.
- 24:01Speaker 1: So like Caitlin and I we bought our house, but
- 24:04Speaker 1: what I didn't realize was that was the first of
- 24:07Speaker 1: many big expenses that we're still to come with the house. Like,
- 24:10Speaker 1: how do you guys all feel about uh, Like, let's
- 24:13Speaker 1: say there's a certain upgrade you want to get and
- 24:14Speaker 1: it's like fifty grand, but you could do like a
- 24:16Speaker 1: smaller version of it for like thirty grand, but you'd
- 24:19Speaker 1: be less happy with it. Caitlin and I are constantly
- 24:21Speaker 1: having the conversation of should we get what we want
- 24:23Speaker 1: and just pay the extra money for it, or should
- 24:25Speaker 1: we be a little bit more frugal and still be
- 24:27Speaker 1: happy with like a smaller version of that finished product.
- 24:30Speaker 1: How do you guys all stand with that kind of
- 24:31Speaker 1: like conversation. I feel like, do what you really want
- 24:36Speaker 1: the first time around, because you're going to end up
- 24:38Speaker 1: doing it again. You spend thirty dollars on something that
- 24:42Speaker 1: you're like me, then you're gonna want to replace it
- 24:45Speaker 1: and you're gonna end up spending more than the original
- 24:47Speaker 1: fifty grand. So like, even if you have to space
- 24:51Speaker 1: these things out, like, don't pull the trigger on something
- 24:53Speaker 1: unless you're all in. We can I answer that we have,
- 24:57Speaker 1: Like just can I because we were consider instantly getting uh,
- 25:02Speaker 1: like we we just didn't see things the same way.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Jessica is a lot more frugal than I am, and
- 25:06Speaker 1: I'm pretty frugal, but she like sees the number and
- 25:09Speaker 1: says us just not do it like, that's kind of
- 25:11Speaker 1: her first punse I'm like, well, that's not fully fair.
- 25:14Speaker 1: We we have to do something. So what we've done
- 25:17Speaker 1: is we've designed are like dream home idea for the
- 25:21Speaker 1: home that we're currently in, and we might not do
- 25:24Speaker 1: it all at once, but we take steps to get there.
- 25:28Speaker 1: So like if we're like, hey, one day we want
- 25:30Speaker 1: to have a backyard with a waterfall and climbing Jim, okay, well,
- 25:34Speaker 1: how do we start that process and not do it
- 25:36Speaker 1: all at once so that it spreads out over time
- 25:39Speaker 1: and so it's less money up front. But we're not
- 25:41Speaker 1: like changing anything as we go, We're just stepping towards
- 25:46Speaker 1: it slowly. Yeah, that makes sense. My My biggest thing
- 25:50Speaker 1: was I really so we just had like a big
- 25:52Speaker 1: empty dirt lot in our backyard and I was like
- 25:54Speaker 1: to to Kayla, and I told her I wanted a
- 25:57Speaker 1: putting green with a chipping green, the lazy river like
- 26:01Speaker 1: surrounding it, like floating around it. It sounds like I thought,
- 26:05Speaker 1: it sounds like we we got a quote for it
- 26:10Speaker 1: and it was like double what we had wanted to
- 26:13Speaker 1: pay for our backyard renovation. Um. Anyways, long story short,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I think what we kind of did, was like we
- 26:18Speaker 1: settled for like a small putting green to the side
- 26:20Speaker 1: and then like a pool over in there, so like
- 26:21Speaker 1: we kind of compromise. But I guess to whatever everyone's
- 26:24Speaker 1: point is, Like, I hope that we're not going to
- 26:26Speaker 1: come back in four years and I'm gonna be dreaming
- 26:28Speaker 1: of a of a chipping green with a lazy river
- 26:30Speaker 1: around it, you know, But I don't know. I guess
- 26:32Speaker 1: time will tell. In that case, I got an answer
- 26:34Speaker 1: for you that Peyton and Chris can probably help you with.
- 26:38Speaker 1: What you need to do is get on a television
- 26:39Speaker 1: show and you need to get the support of a
- 26:42Speaker 1: show to help you. Yes, you still have to pay
- 26:45Speaker 1: for it, but there's just you know, there's some benefits there.
- 26:47Speaker 1: So Dean, I feel like that's kind of the cell
- 26:49Speaker 1: and in the strategy that we need to start taking here. Hey,
- 26:52Speaker 1: if there's any TV host, Chris Peyton, you guys more
- 26:55Speaker 1: than welcome to come and renovate our backyard for us. Uh,
- 26:58Speaker 1: We're definitely came to that idea. It's just a matter
- 27:00Speaker 1: of putting ourselves in that position. You can title the
- 27:03Speaker 1: episode Happily ever After with a lazy river. Um, but
- 27:09Speaker 1: I wanted a dean who's more frugal. You're Kalin. Oh,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I'm way more frugal than she is. A question. Oh,
- 27:15Speaker 1: he wants to put a lazy river with like a
- 27:18Speaker 1: mini golf course in his backyard. But if it weren't
- 27:20Speaker 1: for Calin, he would live out the van permanently. Yeah. No,
- 27:24Speaker 1: And Calin is frugal, but she she likes nice things
- 27:27Speaker 1: and she's not willing to skimp when it comes to
- 27:29Speaker 1: those nice things. She's got like her, she's got her
- 27:31Speaker 1: standards too. Like when we first moved into the house,
- 27:33Speaker 1: are master closet. It's like this big walking closet and
- 27:36Speaker 1: it was just like bare bones, basic, and she like
- 27:38Speaker 1: first thing, she's like, we're renovating this, and she just
- 27:40Speaker 1: spent a bunch of money to renovate it, and saying
- 27:42Speaker 1: with the two Ben's uh master bathroom redesigned to She's like,
- 27:47Speaker 1: we have to redesign the master bathroom, which is like
- 27:50Speaker 1: a no. It's just so crazy how quickly it adds up.
- 27:52Speaker 1: So if it weren't for me, kind of like reining
- 27:54Speaker 1: her back in, I think that she would already have
- 27:56Speaker 1: a lot of that stuff done. And I'm sure eventually
- 27:59Speaker 1: it will all get on because she'll get her way
- 28:01Speaker 1: no matter what. But I'm trying to, like, you know,
- 28:03Speaker 1: rand her back in a little bit with a lot
- 28:05Speaker 1: of that stuff. I mean, when you renovate a bathroom,
- 28:08Speaker 1: that comes back like threefold. So that's that's a really
- 28:11Speaker 1: good question. And the same of the closet. Like if
- 28:13Speaker 1: someone's gonna buy a high end home, they want to
- 28:14Speaker 1: trick out walking closets. So that's that's good as well.
- 28:18Speaker 1: You guys want to hear something crazy. Yeah, when we uh,
- 28:22Speaker 1: when we got this house. It's a great house in
- 28:24Speaker 1: a gray area in a great neighborhood, but it was
- 28:26Speaker 1: built and uh in the bathroom was the only thing
- 28:30Speaker 1: that the previous homeowner had not done yet because she
- 28:34Speaker 1: was knowing she wanted to sell, and she's like, I'll
- 28:35Speaker 1: just let the next people choose what they want. And
- 28:37Speaker 1: here it had carpet from thirty years ago throughout the
- 28:40Speaker 1: whole bathroom. And so when I tore it up, oh yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 1: not like and I'm not saying just at certain areas.
- 28:48Speaker 1: It was by the shower, by the toilet, and so
- 28:51Speaker 1: when I tore it up, there was pieces of previous
- 28:54Speaker 1: homeowners that I shared with them that I I don't
- 28:57Speaker 1: want to do again. Um, all right, paying Chris, we
- 29:00Speaker 1: gotta let you go here. Last question for you, any advice,
- 29:04Speaker 1: um for current homeowners as they enter into this season
- 29:07Speaker 1: of life where uh things are getting redone, people are
- 29:12Speaker 1: spending more times in their home. And then also if
- 29:15Speaker 1: you don't mind closing that thought with where can people
- 29:17Speaker 1: continue to watch you find you, support you, um that
- 29:20Speaker 1: are fans of you and excited to hear you on
- 29:22Speaker 1: this podcast. So for me, I think as soon as
- 29:28Speaker 1: you start, you want to invest in quality materials that
- 29:30Speaker 1: will last. I've seen a lot of homeowners uh buy
- 29:34Speaker 1: some cheap deca materials or put in cheap stones or
- 29:38Speaker 1: cheap lighting, and because they want to save money, but
- 29:41Speaker 1: the long run, they're gonna have to tear it out,
- 29:43Speaker 1: redo it, pay for it twice, you know. So save up,
- 29:48Speaker 1: do it right the first time, build off an area
- 29:51Speaker 1: and keep building into your backyard or in your home
- 29:54Speaker 1: the same way. UM. So don't don't skimp because it'll
- 29:58Speaker 1: it'll come back to bite you in the Yeah. And
- 30:01Speaker 1: I think always get multiple quotes, like always ask around
- 30:04Speaker 1: to get multiple quotes. You've got one quote that's super
- 30:07Speaker 1: high and another quote that's super low. There's something wrong there,
- 30:10Speaker 1: so you know, do your due diligence and find out
- 30:13Speaker 1: why why there's such a big difference. But and then
- 30:16Speaker 1: for us, we are launching a line of outdoor products
- 30:20Speaker 1: on h HSN and uh so if you guys need
- 30:24Speaker 1: stuff for your backyard, check out all of our stuff
- 30:27Speaker 1: on HSN. We've got rugs, pillows, a fire pit, an umbrella,
- 30:31Speaker 1: um all kinds of fun stuff to trick out your

- 30:42Speaker 1: to check out the line. Everybody listening, but also just

- 30:47Speaker 1: your journey and folds. Thanks guys, Thank you. I appreciate menu.
- 31:03Speaker 1: All right, welcome back to help I suck at dating
- 31:06Speaker 1: slash almost famous. Do you see how I put help
- 31:08Speaker 1: by second dating, first rate Batman? There Robin Today, Baby,
- 31:13Speaker 1: we have a very special guest. You know him from
- 31:15Speaker 1: the Bachelor franchise. He not only proposed a one woman
- 31:18Speaker 1: but two on his season introduced here. No, sorry, I
- 31:25Speaker 1: didn't mean that, all right, I'm just kidding to buddy.
- 31:27Speaker 1: It's already lun and like how are How are you good, guys?
- 31:30Speaker 1: How are you guys? Thanks for having me on today
- 31:33Speaker 1: with a joke. I know it's been it's been too long.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Last time I saw you, my friend, we were at
- 31:38Speaker 1: a movie theater. It was the the We're not going
- 31:42Speaker 1: to remember the name of that movie, but it was
- 31:43Speaker 1: with a j O app Kje Yes and dude. That
- 31:51Speaker 1: was the day that the NBA shut its doors because
- 31:53Speaker 1: of COVID and we were in like a movie theater
- 31:55Speaker 1: with three people, and I remember all of us were like,
- 31:57Speaker 1: is this gonna be a thing? Fast forward like two
- 32:01Speaker 1: years later? Crazy, unbelievable, but all right, how do you doing,
- 32:04Speaker 1: a buddy? I am good. It is uh, it is
- 32:08Speaker 1: chaos over here at our house. As you know, we
- 32:10Speaker 1: have the twins. They're nine weeks old, and um yeah,
- 32:14Speaker 1: we're surviving. But we've turned a corner. I feel like
- 32:18Speaker 1: we are getting the hang of it. Every day is
- 32:19Speaker 1: getting a little bit easier. So it is it's going good.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Like give us like a non sugarcoated version of what
- 32:26Speaker 1: a day in your life looks like right now, because
- 32:27Speaker 1: I'm like that it's just like so intimidating to me.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I thought of having two newborns and then a two
- 32:33Speaker 1: year old. Well, I mean, I have you know, when
- 32:37Speaker 1: we have a Lessie, she's too and she's two and
- 32:40Speaker 1: two and a half months old, so she's a bundle
- 32:43Speaker 1: of energy. And then the twins are just kind of
- 32:45Speaker 1: unpredictable there. We try to keep them on the same
- 32:47Speaker 1: schedule less sometimes one's like fussy and crying and then
- 32:51Speaker 1: the other one sleeping. Sometimes they're both crying. Like honestly,
- 32:55Speaker 1: the nights were just terrible for the first six to
- 33:00Speaker 1: seven weeks and now finally the last two nights they
- 33:03Speaker 1: slept through the night, both of them, and we feel
- 33:06Speaker 1: like new new parents completely, just because we have so
- 33:09Speaker 1: much more energy. And but yeah, how's Lauren doing. How's
- 33:13Speaker 1: she feeling. She's good, she's um, you know, getting back
- 33:16Speaker 1: to working out a little bit, and I think she's
- 33:18Speaker 1: making some time for herself lately. And um, yeah, luckily
- 33:22Speaker 1: we obviously both work from home, so that makes things
- 33:25Speaker 1: a little bit easier. But it is what I think
- 33:28Speaker 1: with twins more than anything, Uh, you need to both
- 33:32Speaker 1: be on the same page and dive in and make
- 33:36Speaker 1: it the priority. Otherwise it's just, yeah, it's just too difficult.
- 33:41Speaker 1: So thankfully we have like a good thing going. I
- 33:43Speaker 1: think we have a good balance as far as um
- 33:47Speaker 1: helping each other out. Like if one of us is
- 33:48Speaker 1: having a really tough day, the other one tends to
- 33:51Speaker 1: step in and and be a little bit more proactive,
- 33:54Speaker 1: um and vice versa. So we've been it's been really great.
- 33:58Speaker 1: I think I already know the answer this question. But
- 34:01Speaker 1: judging by your answers already, do you think your life
- 34:04Speaker 1: you're in Lord's life changed more after having your first
- 34:08Speaker 1: child or after having the twins? Um, that's actually a
- 34:13Speaker 1: good question. I would say probably more after the first
- 34:17Speaker 1: because we're already parenting a lessie. It's harder. It's definitely harder,
- 34:22Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. But um, you know when you
- 34:26Speaker 1: go from not having kids and like traveling, well now
- 34:29Speaker 1: no one's traveling, but you know, I guess pre COVID
- 34:32Speaker 1: traveling and sort of being very spontaneous and you know,
- 34:35Speaker 1: being out and about all the time, to having kids,
- 34:38Speaker 1: it's just it's just a totally different lifestyle. Um. Now
- 34:41Speaker 1: we're used to that, but the twins add like another
- 34:45Speaker 1: layer on top of that, and our day is really structured,
- 34:48Speaker 1: because if it's not structured, it just like doesn't run
- 34:52Speaker 1: smoothly at all. So we we are like if I
- 34:55Speaker 1: get to get out for like fifteen minutes twenty minutes,
- 34:58Speaker 1: or get to work out in like you of like
- 35:00Speaker 1: you're like so happy that you accomplished that in itself,
- 35:04Speaker 1: which is nuts, alright, question for you. Obviously we're here
- 35:08Speaker 1: today to talk about like homes and renovating homes and
- 35:12Speaker 1: exploring the real estate market. You're deep into this and
- 35:16Speaker 1: you have been for a while. In fact, even as
- 35:17Speaker 1: the Bachelery. I think you told me when we were
- 35:19Speaker 1: in Mexico together, you went right back to work pretty
- 35:21Speaker 1: quickly because you love your job. What kind of trends
- 35:25Speaker 1: are you seeing, especially in your area, which is a
- 35:28Speaker 1: hot market right now, like one of the hottest for
- 35:31Speaker 1: new homeowners of all levels, like luxury homes but also
- 35:34Speaker 1: just your you know, just your nice like first home
- 35:37Speaker 1: kind of buys. Yeah. I think right now the inventory
- 35:40Speaker 1: um is picking up a little bit. I think we're
- 35:42Speaker 1: seeing a little bit I wouldn't say it slow down,
- 35:45Speaker 1: but more of a plateau in the market um. Whereas
- 35:48Speaker 1: a couple of months ago it was a frenzy. You know,
- 35:50Speaker 1: if you had a buyer, it was so hard to
- 35:52Speaker 1: find a house. Now, I think it's a little it's
- 35:55Speaker 1: leveled out a little bit. I wouldn't say it's slowing down,
- 35:57Speaker 1: but at least we're kind of catching our breath. And
- 36:01Speaker 1: for us in the Phoenix market, we have a ton
- 36:03Speaker 1: of people moving here from California, UM, Oregon, Gosh, Texas,
- 36:08Speaker 1: kind of everywhere. We're the fifth largest city in the US,
- 36:11Speaker 1: so we're and we're growing really quickly. So for US
- 36:14Speaker 1: UM the market is still really hot, but I wouldn't
- 36:17Speaker 1: say it's as insane as a few months ago. Soon
- 36:20Speaker 1: because we feel like we don't have a lot of
- 36:21Speaker 1: space right now, should be like wait till next summer. Yeah, okay,
- 36:28Speaker 1: that's the kicker. So yeah, no one has a No
- 36:31Speaker 1: one has a crystal ball, right, you know. I think
- 36:33Speaker 1: before the election, I told all my friends and I
- 36:36Speaker 1: sold a lot of property myself. I was like, we
- 36:38Speaker 1: gotta get out because the market is going to slow
- 36:40Speaker 1: down after the election. But now, interestingly enough, the government
- 36:44Speaker 1: has printed so much money that inflation is going to
- 36:47Speaker 1: start rising, and the only way to curb inflation is
- 36:50Speaker 1: to have UH assets such as real estate. The real
- 36:54Speaker 1: estate inflation will follow the inflation rate of the dollar,
- 36:58Speaker 1: so you're seeing a lot of wealthy people their money
- 37:00Speaker 1: into real estate right now. Um, because that's the only
- 37:03Speaker 1: way to protect your money. If your money is sitting
- 37:05Speaker 1: in the bank account right now, it's becoming worth less
- 37:08Speaker 1: and less. So you're seeing a lot of people throw
- 37:11Speaker 1: their money into real estate. Um. And the interest rate
- 37:14Speaker 1: they're so good right now. So if I were you,
- 37:16Speaker 1: I would buy, like today, let's buy the property. Now.
- 37:20Speaker 1: We're laughing at each other because that was probably the
- 37:22Speaker 1: best advice we've gotten from anyone. Yeah, I'm not talking.
- 37:24Speaker 1: That was the best advice literally, Ashley and I when
- 37:27Speaker 1: you when you were speaking actually and I looked at
- 37:29Speaker 1: internal like, uh, we've we've been We need to really
- 37:33Speaker 1: change our thought process. Yeah, Hey, why did I think
- 37:37Speaker 1: you guys already owned a house because we put a
- 37:40Speaker 1: reservation on land. Yeah, because we do want to build
- 37:42Speaker 1: one day and we think it's the perfect lot, but
- 37:45Speaker 1: it maybe like five years in the future, just because
- 37:48Speaker 1: like everything right now, like we have so much going on.
- 37:51Speaker 1: We seem to people that would like own a house,
- 37:54Speaker 1: you know, married kids, like they obviously owned something. Nope,
- 37:57Speaker 1: not yet saying it's time to buy like three houses, Yeah,
- 38:02Speaker 1: ere we go or a lot of vans. You know,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I don't know. Are you in your van right now?
- 38:07Speaker 1: That's that's where I am. The The thing about the
- 38:10Speaker 1: van is, uh, while it is technically probably still a
- 38:13Speaker 1: depreciating asset, I don't get any land with it. So
- 38:16Speaker 1: it's kind of like a lose lose in that sense.
- 38:17Speaker 1: But that is what it is. All the land, when
- 38:20Speaker 1: you drive around, all the all the blm land belongs
- 38:24Speaker 1: to me whenever. I'm honest. That's pretty nice, I suppose,
- 38:27Speaker 1: But I don't know. I don't know if it was
- 38:29Speaker 1: the best investment. Well it was, it was, but not
- 38:31Speaker 1: for not for inflationary reasons, I guess. Well, is that
- 38:34Speaker 1: one of the reasons that you guys bought your house
- 38:36Speaker 1: in Hawaii? And how often do you expect to be
- 38:39Speaker 1: able to get out there? So I think we'll probably
- 38:42Speaker 1: head there for the summers. So when Lorda and I
- 38:44Speaker 1: got together, she's like, I'm gonna move to Arizona for you,
- 38:47Speaker 1: but just know that eventually down the line, I'm gonna
- 38:51Speaker 1: need something near the water. She's like, I grew up
- 38:54Speaker 1: in Virginia Beach and I like to be by the ocean.
- 38:57Speaker 1: So that was sort of a uh like one of
- 39:01Speaker 1: the boxes I had to check. You know. So we
- 39:04Speaker 1: fell in love with this house in Hawaii because we
- 39:06Speaker 1: got married on Maui. Um. And I actually have an
- 39:10Speaker 1: investment friend who leases it eight months a year, so
- 39:13Speaker 1: it cash you know, it cash flows itself. UM. So
- 39:18Speaker 1: first and foremost, I think it was a good investment.
- 39:20Speaker 1: And then the bonus is obviously using it during the
- 39:23Speaker 1: summer months to get out of the heat for Arizona.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Very smart. All right, well, let's dig in a little
- 39:29Speaker 1: bit back to uh to the family questions, um, because
- 39:33Speaker 1: obviously Jared nationally are entering into that season of life
- 39:36Speaker 1: behave ari um that as people look for their homes,
- 39:41Speaker 1: do you believe it's healthy for kids to have their
- 39:43Speaker 1: own rooms if possible? I mean, every family is different.
- 39:47Speaker 1: You know, our twins share a room and I'm sure
- 39:50Speaker 1: they will share room for a really long time, or
- 39:52Speaker 1: maybe a lessie in Senta will share room the girls,
- 39:55Speaker 1: and I think that's Um. It all depends on your situation.
- 39:59Speaker 1: And before you go, I do want to ask you, Uh.
- 40:01Speaker 1: First of all, I want to congratulate you on your
- 40:03Speaker 1: beautiful wife and your beauty family. Uh. It's exciting times
- 40:07Speaker 1: for you guys. And I want to ask you something
- 40:09Speaker 1: that definitely nobody else has ever asked you before in
- 40:12Speaker 1: the history of your relationship with Lauren your family. Are
- 40:16Speaker 1: you gonna guys? Are you guys gonna have more kids?
- 40:18Speaker 1: I know you've never gotten this question before, but I figured, Hey,
- 40:21Speaker 1: if you know, somebody's got to ask it. Yeah, I
- 40:24Speaker 1: would say right now, it's a no, you know, because
- 40:28Speaker 1: we're in just in the thick of it. We're in
- 40:30Speaker 1: that newborn fog. It's tough. Every day is hard. And
- 40:34Speaker 1: I always threatened Lauren with a vassect to me, like
- 40:37Speaker 1: every day it's a weird threat. Mari, Like, that's a
- 40:42Speaker 1: really odd You're really losing on that end of the threat.
- 40:45Speaker 1: You're like, I'm gonna cut out, I'm gonna cut it open.
- 40:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna go through pain for this. It's it's an
- 40:50Speaker 1: interesting tactic. It's almost a threat to yourself. Feels hurtful.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I can't. Even My buddy Troy did it.
- 40:58Speaker 1: He documented the whole thing on well, didn't really like
- 41:01Speaker 1: to show everything, but he like went through the whole
- 41:03Speaker 1: I don't even know um, but he was very open
- 41:06Speaker 1: about it. He said it wasn't a big of a deal.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I don't know. I think whenever you have a baby,
- 41:11Speaker 1: you have to wait like at least six to eight
- 41:13Speaker 1: months after that baby is born to be able to
- 41:17Speaker 1: decide because I feel like you have amnesia when it
- 41:21Speaker 1: comes to, uh, you know, having kids in the newborn phase,
- 41:24Speaker 1: and then once you're out of that phase, like, oh
- 41:26Speaker 1: that wasn't so bad. Um, So once we're out of
- 41:30Speaker 1: the newborn phase, I will will make a decision as
- 41:32Speaker 1: a family. And right now, as of now, I think
- 41:35Speaker 1: we're good with three. Well, final question for you or
- 41:39Speaker 1: just final thing. We got word that you're joining forces
- 41:43Speaker 1: with tarik el Musa. What's going on there? Are It
- 41:46Speaker 1: seems like a big deal. Yeah. So a lot of
- 41:50Speaker 1: you guys probably know Tark from the show Flip or Flop. Um.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I actually met his ex Christina and we got in
- 41:58Speaker 1: Tark and I got to talking and we're joining forces.
- 42:01Speaker 1: We're starting a group at the XP Realty So I'm
- 42:04Speaker 1: moving brokerages from remaxed e XP. I'm really excited about it.
- 42:08Speaker 1: It's the fastest growing brokerage right now in the country. Uh.
- 42:12Speaker 1: It is an insane platform. It's basically a profit sharing
- 42:16Speaker 1: brokerage where instead of giving back to those brick and
- 42:19Speaker 1: mortar brokerages that you see. Typically you're you know your
- 42:23Speaker 1: coal bankers, your remax is uh, they profit share with
- 42:27Speaker 1: all their agents, so if you're a producing agent, you
- 42:30Speaker 1: make all that commission split back and then some. UM.
- 42:34Speaker 1: So it's really interesting and we're gonna be doing a
- 42:35Speaker 1: lot of webinars. We're gonna be a lot of coaching.
- 42:38Speaker 1: So if you guys want to join us, email me
- 42:41Speaker 1: at Ari at realty by are dot com. Um, I'll
- 42:45Speaker 1: give you more info for it. But I think it's
- 42:46Speaker 1: gonna be really cool because it's not just an Arizona
- 42:48Speaker 1: based team. It's gonna be a nationwide and even international
- 42:52Speaker 1: team of realtors, all working towards the same goal making
- 42:55Speaker 1: that money and obviously having fun along the way. Well are,
- 42:59Speaker 1: but we let you go. I got one more question
- 43:02Speaker 1: for you, because this is this podcast is sponsored by
- 43:04Speaker 1: gap Home. Who does the decorating in your house and
- 43:07Speaker 1: what's the compromise situation there? Lauren does decorating. Um, she
- 43:14Speaker 1: she has a really good eye for it. She did
- 43:16Speaker 1: all the decor for the twins room. Our rental houses
- 43:20Speaker 1: are flips. I think that is something that she brings
- 43:24Speaker 1: to the table and really elevates us as a as
- 43:27Speaker 1: a team together. So she definitely has the eye and
- 43:30Speaker 1: I'm more of the numbers guy and selling and buying
- 43:34Speaker 1: side of things. Well, all right, thanks again for joining
- 43:36Speaker 1: us man, We really appreciate it. Please give our best
- 43:39Speaker 1: to Lauren. Uh and we wish you guys nothing but
- 43:41Speaker 1: the best and have fun uh in your travels. Sounds good, guys, yep,
- 43:46Speaker 1: good luck with everything, Ashley. Thanks all right, team, we
- 43:51Speaker 1: did do this thing with four hosts, and just kudos
- 43:54Speaker 1: to all of you for doing a great job. We
- 43:56Speaker 1: have some great guests in this podcast. But before we go,
- 43:59Speaker 1: I know that all of us, as we've mentioned many
- 44:01Speaker 1: times throughout the last hour, are either redecorating our homes,
- 44:05Speaker 1: buying new homes, starting to decorate homes, moving into these homes,
- 44:09Speaker 1: and part of that is making sure that you have
- 44:11Speaker 1: like the essential products that will make this house feel
- 44:14Speaker 1: like a home. Doan, Let's start with you, Uh, all
- 44:17Speaker 1: of us are fans of gap at home. You ordered
- 44:21Speaker 1: some products through them. Why did you order them? And
- 44:23Speaker 1: what did you order? Yeah? Well, Uh, there's one thing
- 44:27Speaker 1: I've noticed in our house that you can never have
- 44:29Speaker 1: too many of, and that is bath towels. I don't
- 44:32Speaker 1: know why, but it whenever you need one the most,
- 44:36Speaker 1: it's always hard to find. And so I made sure
- 44:39Speaker 1: to order a bunch of extra bath towels for Kaitlin
- 44:41Speaker 1: and I for our house in Las Vegas. That way,
- 44:43Speaker 1: we're never in the predicament where you get out of
- 44:44Speaker 1: a you know, a nice hot shower and you you
- 44:46Speaker 1: don't know where the talent is. So we also got
- 44:49Speaker 1: some kitchen sets because I personally like to take my
- 44:53Speaker 1: time to run the dishwasher, and so you know, we
- 44:55Speaker 1: don't want to be running low on anything in the kitchen.
- 44:58Speaker 1: So we're set in the kitchen, in the bathroom, and
- 45:00Speaker 1: that was kind of like the most important thing for
- 45:02Speaker 1: me to get squared away. How many times do you
- 45:04Speaker 1: use a towel before you wash it? Because Ashley and
- 45:07Speaker 1: I had this conversation last week, and I want to know.
- 45:11Speaker 1: I am sure you guys think my number is clearly high.
- 45:14Speaker 1: I would probably use a towel um three to five
- 45:18Speaker 1: times before what no, two to two to four times
- 45:21Speaker 1: before washing it. Maybe maybe I am wrong, never mind,
- 45:25Speaker 1: but I will I will say I so like I
- 45:29Speaker 1: have my specific twe's Kalin has her towels, and I'll
- 45:33Speaker 1: probably like use my tawel twice, throw it in the hamper,
- 45:36Speaker 1: and then use her towel twice, so she like might
- 45:38Speaker 1: we might be using that one like four times because
- 45:40Speaker 1: I don't even know if she knows that I'm using
- 45:41Speaker 1: that kind of thing. Um, but yeah, I would say
- 45:43Speaker 1: I would say no more than five guys just pause here,
- 45:46Speaker 1: time out. Am I crazy? But like, I don't know
- 45:51Speaker 1: if i'd be like down for Jessica to use my towel.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I love that girl, and like, but like that towel
- 45:58Speaker 1: is my towel, Ashley, and or can you answer this
- 46:00Speaker 1: for us? If Ashley, if Jared used your towel, would
- 46:04Speaker 1: you be a little bit like step off my hairy
- 46:08Speaker 1: body all over it. I'm sure I've used this towel before.
- 46:11Speaker 1: It's like not a big deal. It's just usually he
- 46:13Speaker 1: leaves it really wet, Like it'll be damn what you're
- 46:16Speaker 1: the one who leaves it wet. You get out literally,
- 46:19Speaker 1: I get out of the shower, and we have a
- 46:21Speaker 1: little math called like the mac gets what not the
- 46:23Speaker 1: towel howel does not soaked? It's like you took it
- 46:27Speaker 1: and okay, listen, He's referring to the fact that since
- 46:31Speaker 1: I've been pregnant, I've been keeping the shower door open,
- 46:35Speaker 1: and because I like having a lot of air everywhere.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Has nothing to do with how wet I get the
- 46:40Speaker 1: towel that I dry my body on. It's your even
- 46:46Speaker 1: your mom. When I talked about this on Instagram, Mom
- 46:50Speaker 1: was like, good, No, your mom is like, that is true.
- 46:53Speaker 1: He does keep his He gets it from his father.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Because I have no idea why friend's towels always so
- 46:58Speaker 1: so yes, it at it. Yeah, I'm sorry you talked
- 47:03Speaker 1: to my mom about my tollowing habits. She just responded,
- 47:06Speaker 1: she fell passionately about this. You posted about this a
- 47:08Speaker 1: couple of months ago. How did I see this? Help
- 47:11Speaker 1: me understand how this could? How could how could a
- 47:13Speaker 1: towel get more wet when it's like you're you're just
- 47:16Speaker 1: drawing off a body, so get more wet than a
- 47:18Speaker 1: regular That's a good point, Dean Ashley. I don't know
- 47:22Speaker 1: what you do with your towel to make it so wet.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Maybe maybe you overuse the same area so many times.
- 47:27Speaker 1: You need to like disperse the drawing through different parts.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Another really funny thing Jared's has always been Oh my god,
- 47:32Speaker 1: this is so funny. When we first started living together,
- 47:36Speaker 1: I was like, I don't know what the hell he's
- 47:37Speaker 1: doing in the bathroom after a shower, because he would
- 47:40Speaker 1: dry his body off like as if we were as
- 47:43Speaker 1: if it were the car wash. Yer, okay, dry getting
- 47:48Speaker 1: out of the shower, and he liked with like huff
- 47:51Speaker 1: and puff. He'd like, well, let's were at to put
- 47:55Speaker 1: up the explicit warning on the podcast. What is he doing?
- 47:59Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, something vigorously. And see I knew as
- 48:03Speaker 1: soon as she said that everybody's going to have their
- 48:05Speaker 1: heads in the gutter. Well because I'm self conscious about
- 48:08Speaker 1: it and insecure about it. So now I take my
- 48:10Speaker 1: time drying myself, even though I like to get in
- 48:13Speaker 1: you know, once I'm out of the shower, like the
- 48:16Speaker 1: door opens up, I started getting cold. I'm like, I'm
- 48:18Speaker 1: not comfortable anymore. Alright, long are your guys showers? Because Jared,
- 48:22Speaker 1: if he has it too, like, if he has the
- 48:25Speaker 1: time time to do it, he can be in there
- 48:28Speaker 1: for an entire thirty minutes. That's a long time. I
- 48:31Speaker 1: would say ten to ten minutes. This is actually a
- 48:34Speaker 1: a Dean lesson for me. Dean told me that I'm
- 48:38Speaker 1: into water conservation right now, especially if in Colorado. Dean
- 48:41Speaker 1: had has told me a few things in my life,
- 48:43Speaker 1: and I love friends who will grab me by the
- 48:45Speaker 1: collar and tell me when I'm wrong. One was I
- 48:48Speaker 1: was using a plastic water bottle at the airport. Dean said, hey, Ben,
- 48:51Speaker 1: as a friend, would you please switch to something usable?
- 48:54Speaker 1: And ever since then I have Uh. Dean's also told me,
- 48:58Speaker 1: you know, we've talked about many times out to wear underwear.
- 49:01Speaker 1: That was a big mistake on Dean's park because I
- 49:03Speaker 1: didn't work out very well for me. I'd no longer
- 49:05Speaker 1: use dryer sheets because of Dean. I pulled away from that.
- 49:09Speaker 1: So I do listen to him. I don't know if
- 49:11Speaker 1: he listens to me. Ever, Hey, back to the back
- 49:14Speaker 1: to the question though, um, because you do have to
- 49:16Speaker 1: go Jared Nashley, what did you order from gap at Home?
- 49:19Speaker 1: We ordered a couple of different things. I really wanted
- 49:21Speaker 1: this Gap Home sixteen piece round black stoneware dinner set.
- 49:25Speaker 1: That's a mouthful, but I love I love mugs. I
- 49:27Speaker 1: don't know why, very odd so many mugs, I know,
- 49:31Speaker 1: but that's why I always want to buy more. So
- 49:32Speaker 1: I was really looking at that, but instead we got
- 49:34Speaker 1: the Gap Home washed, frayed edged, organic cotton quilt. And
- 49:38Speaker 1: why do you think I got that? Because it's very
- 49:40Speaker 1: beautiful and you love blankets, and it's white and it
- 49:42Speaker 1: matches our color scheme. Yeah, and are duve right now?
- 49:47Speaker 1: It's two years old or whatnot. And like a month
- 49:50Speaker 1: into having it, our dog ate a hole into it.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Then we put a patch over it. It does not
- 49:55Speaker 1: the classic. It's like torn up because Lois has just
- 49:59Speaker 1: bites everything. And we also got the Gap Home. What
- 50:02Speaker 1: is that towel set? Gray mill Millnage, Milage. Well, the
- 50:07Speaker 1: reason we had to get the towel set, even though
- 50:10Speaker 1: it was on our wedding registry and we got some
- 50:12Speaker 1: really nice towels is because something on what I use
- 50:16Speaker 1: in my face totally ruined those towels towels. They look
- 50:20Speaker 1: like they're seventy four years old. But anyway, so we
- 50:24Speaker 1: got a brand new set. They're gray, they're really cozy,
- 50:27Speaker 1: very cozy. As Dean says, you can never have enough towels. Well,
- 50:31Speaker 1: team I uh, I did a couple of things. One
- 50:34Speaker 1: is we're really making the basement of this home the
- 50:37Speaker 1: place that we want to be um and uh, it's
- 50:40Speaker 1: cool down there. It's nice, it's comfy. And so we
- 50:42Speaker 1: got a big old couch because the thing we splurged on.
- 50:45Speaker 1: So I got some throw pillows for that couch. Um,
- 50:48Speaker 1: some nice blue throw pillows. Um, they're gonna be super comfy.
- 50:51Speaker 1: I office. I also loaded up on some towels because
- 50:54Speaker 1: the thing is, we have a we have a lot
- 50:56Speaker 1: of guests that come through Denver, a lot of people
- 50:59Speaker 1: moving through and um, in a lot of the towels.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. I don't know when
- 51:04Speaker 1: it's appropriate to throw away a towel quite honestly. I
- 51:07Speaker 1: have towels from when I was like five years old.
- 51:09Speaker 1: It has been Higgins on it or saw Shark swim team. Well,
- 51:13Speaker 1: you can't throw that out. You can't throw it out.
- 51:16Speaker 1: I have beach towels from kindergarten, you know the Aladdin
- 51:18Speaker 1: and yeah, so like there's just not a need to
- 51:21Speaker 1: throw them out. But you do want your guests to
- 51:23Speaker 1: have nice, fluffy, comfortable towels. So I want with some
- 51:25Speaker 1: towels to They're really gonna add to the home. I'm
- 51:28Speaker 1: pumped about it here. Okay, I have one thing that
- 51:31Speaker 1: I really want for this house, guys, and let's end
- 51:33Speaker 1: this podcast was saying one thing that you really know
- 51:36Speaker 1: right now you need for your new home that you
- 51:38Speaker 1: don't currently have. I need this, and if somebody could
- 51:41Speaker 1: point me in the right direction, I need one of
- 51:42Speaker 1: those tub things that go across the tub so you
- 51:45Speaker 1: can like sit a computer on it, or candles or like, um,
- 51:50Speaker 1: a coffee cup. I can't find those anywhere, So somebody
- 51:53Speaker 1: knows where on Amazon? Without that way, I don't. I've
- 51:56Speaker 1: never bought anything on Amazon, quite honestly, so I'm about
- 51:59Speaker 1: to I'm about to start one of those They're nice.
- 52:02Speaker 1: You've never bought anything on Amazon, anything off Amazon? No,
- 52:05Speaker 1: I just I usually like to go to the store.
- 52:07Speaker 1: And so I'm I'm making a switch in my life.
- 52:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna start buying things on Amazon because everybody tells
- 52:12Speaker 1: me to. Well, Ben, Hey, we've got one of those
- 52:15Speaker 1: bathtub things, so if you ever want to come over
- 52:16Speaker 1: and take a bath at our house, you can definitely
- 52:18Speaker 1: borrow ours. Um. The one thing that I need for
- 52:21Speaker 1: our house is so Kalin is responsible for decorating the house.
- 52:27Speaker 1: She gave me one room to decorate myself. It's essentially
- 52:29Speaker 1: like my my man cave more or less, you know, um,
- 52:33Speaker 1: and what I really just need in there is just
- 52:36Speaker 1: a like a decision because like I have all these
- 52:39Speaker 1: ideas and I know what it kind of like what
- 52:41Speaker 1: I want to do here and there, but I don't
- 52:43Speaker 1: know if there's gonna be like flow, and I really
- 52:44Speaker 1: just need to decide. So like it's not really like
- 52:48Speaker 1: an actual product that I need. It's more of just
- 52:49Speaker 1: like a you know, make up your mind sort of thing.
- 52:52Speaker 1: But that's that's that's all I really need to think. Ashley,
- 52:55Speaker 1: Jared and where the opposite. We need a whole other
- 52:59Speaker 1: room for a nursery. Everybody's like, oh yeah, you uh
- 53:05Speaker 1: to like that great nursery. I'm like, that's just very
- 53:07Speaker 1: stressful for me because we do not have a location
- 53:10Speaker 1: for first of all, that's not how everybody sounds. Secondly,
- 53:13Speaker 1: we do need more room. We have an apartment right now,
- 53:16Speaker 1: and uh, you know, adding another human being that's a lot. Yeah. Well,
- 53:20Speaker 1: a team, great job today. Thanks the Gap at Home
- 53:23Speaker 1: in Walmart for helping support this podcast. Thanks for our guest.
- 53:27Speaker 1: We'll be back next time. Okay, Ashley and Jared and Dean,
- 53:31Speaker 1: you're gonna follow our lead now since Jared took the
