- 0:16distinctions, possibilities, new ways of thinking, and just bring
- 0:20some joy. Into the.
- 0:21World. So welcome to the coop and let's
- 0:23start your day off in a fantastic way.
- 0:27Hey everybody, good evening from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So I'm shooting this evening out here because I wanted to talk to
- 0:34you about the process that I'm doing right now.
- 0:36You might hear some clicking in the background and I am dead
- 0:40heading one of my rose bushes. And it happens to be the one
- 0:44that's right at the front gate of the chicken coop.
- 0:47And we put it here so we could grow up and cover the fence and
- 0:50really be beautiful. And boy has it worked out
- 0:52really, really well. And one of the things that's
- 0:56required when you grow roses or a lot of flowers is deadheading.
- 1:01And it's an interesting process when you think about what they
- 1:04call it, deadhead. So when the heads are gone, you
- 1:07cut them off. You literally just come in and
- 1:10you cut them off. And the process allows and
- 1:13triggers the plant to want to grow further.
- 1:16So while it sounds brutal, it's actually quite necessary to to
- 1:22turn it into prolific growing. While you doesn't seem to make
- 1:27any sense. If I cut off all of this, it's
- 1:29going to promote new growth. It does.
- 1:31And maybe that's a great lesson for all of us as human beings to
- 1:36take. Sometimes you have to cut things
- 1:38off in order to grow, right? Like just such a great
- 1:42connection between all of this. You know, sometimes we have dead
- 1:47heads and they need to be taken off of us because we're just
- 1:50focused on the wrong things. We're going in the wrong
- 1:52direction. We've got the wrong stuff
- 1:54happening. And we need to get a sharp set
- 1:57of tools and say, OK, I'm going to pay attention to this.
- 2:01I'm going to handle myself in a better way and I'm going to cut
- 2:04off all this crap that seems to keep pulling me back down.
- 2:08And as I was thinking about this, it makes me laugh because
- 2:13we here, it's so easy when we have it, you know, a plant to do
- 2:17it with. We're just like, OK, Yep, we go
- 2:18over and we do it and we don't think anything about it with
- 2:20ourselves, though it takes like so much effort to try to, you
- 2:25know, intellectualize. What do I need to cut out?
- 2:28So the real question is where do you need to prune?
- 2:31Where do you need to go and say, OK, I'm going to cut off these
- 2:35dead heads and I'm going to wait for this plant to rejuvenate
- 2:39and, and burst forward. You know, that's the same thing
- 2:43with our minds. What do I need to cut off?
- 2:45What do I need to trim away? What do I need to deadhead and
- 2:49say, now that I've got this all clear, I'm going to feed myself
- 2:53a healthy dose of what I need in order to grow in the right
- 2:56direction. I mean, it's a very simple
- 2:58process, my friends. And you know, I, I, I could
- 3:02Yammer on and on about it, but it's really just that simple.
- 3:06So I'm going to leave this as a really quick one right now
- 3:09because help. It's right to the point.
- 3:12What do you need to deadhead in yourself?
- 3:14Go out, figure it out and Deadhead, because I promise you
- 3:18it will make a massive difference and it will make the
- 3:21rest of you grow. All right, my friends, I'll see
- 3:24you tomorrow and I hope you have a blessed.
- 3:25Day bye.
