- 0:33Welcome to the Clydesdale
- 0:34Media Weight Loss Journey.
- 0:36My name is Scott Sweets.
- 0:37I'm the Clydesdale.
- 0:38She is my nutrition coach, Cheryl Nasso.
- 0:41You guys know the rest.
- 0:43We've been around a while.
- 0:44Good to see Lex and Judy and
- 0:46Kenneth already in the chat.
- 0:49But we're going to catch up
- 0:50on some nutrition for the week.
- 0:53yeah well first off before
- 0:55we get into nutrition I
- 0:56will say that I was happy
- 0:57to see a check-in form see
- 0:59a food diary um and I do
- 1:01see some weights logged but
- 1:03I think you may have logged
- 1:04them today correct did you
- 1:05did you kind of go back in
- 1:07and log some things today
- 1:09yeah I i use a whiteboard
- 1:11yeah my scale and then I
- 1:12just grab it and log them all in
- 1:14Gotcha.
- 1:15Well, I'm happy that I saw some weights.
- 1:16Cause when I was like, oh man,
- 1:17he hasn't weighed in since last,
- 1:19when I first saw it,
- 1:19it looked like you had like
- 1:20weighed in since last Thursday.
- 1:22And I'm like, okay.
- 1:23So I was hoping that maybe,
- 1:25cause I know that sometimes
- 1:25when you're not feeling good,
- 1:27you sleep in downstairs.
- 1:28And I was like,
- 1:28maybe we aren't going to have a weight,
- 1:29but happy to see where things are at.
- 1:31So first off, let's, I mean,
- 1:34I know what's going on tomorrow.
- 1:35You may have talked about it
- 1:36on your round table,
- 1:36but fill everybody in about
- 1:39what tomorrow is bringing for you.
- 1:43So tomorrow is the cardio conversion.
- 1:47I will go into the hospital 7, 730,
- 1:52get prepped.
- 1:53830 is a procedure.
- 1:55They will put a scope down my throat.
- 1:58It is like an ultrasound to
- 1:59see blood clots on the back of my heart.
- 2:03If that is clear, they will.
- 2:08They will then pull the
- 2:09scope out and immediately
- 2:12go into the conversion
- 2:13where they'll shock me with
- 2:14the paddles to try to get
- 2:16the heart back into rhythm.
- 2:19Gotcha.
- 2:20So are you like how are you
- 2:22feeling about this whole procedure?
- 2:23Are you nervous about it?
- 2:24Is it pretty safe?
- 2:25It's not super invasive.
- 2:28Is it invasive?
- 2:29Like what's the you know,
- 2:30that kind of stuff, risk reward,
- 2:32that kind of thing.
- 2:33Nothing invasive.
- 2:34I'm,
- 2:36I was nervous over the weekend for
- 2:38some reason,
- 2:39but then as it's gotten closer,
- 2:41like this is one of the
- 2:43most common things that is done in,
- 2:46in medicine.
- 2:47And I've been under anesthesia before.
- 2:51I, it doesn't affect me greatly.
- 2:54Like some people,
- 2:56I just feel very rested after.
- 2:57So yeah,
- 3:00looking for a good nap
- 3:01tomorrow morning and
- 3:02hopefully get everything back on track.
- 3:04Yeah, I love that.
- 3:06Kenneth,
- 3:07I am working on wearing blue
- 3:08blockers because I'm trying to, well,
- 3:12I'm just trying to get
- 3:13myself sleeping better.
- 3:14And I've been told that the
- 3:15blue light can be somewhat funky.
- 3:17So I'm giving them a shot.
- 3:18So yeah,
- 3:18I know I feel like a school
- 3:19teacher right now,
- 3:20but I kind of feel like a
- 3:23school nerd actually.
- 3:24I feel like I look like a nerd in glasses,
- 3:26but I've been fortunate to
- 3:27have good eyesight.
- 3:29Back to you, Scott.
- 3:30Um, so a couple of other things, um,
- 3:33happy to hear that, like,
- 3:34this is going to be a
- 3:34pretty non-invasive.
- 3:35And in fact,
- 3:36I was actually doing a little
- 3:37bit more research on AFib, uh,
- 3:39just cause I wanted to
- 3:40understand limitations and
- 3:41all that kind of stuff.
- 3:43Um, what about, I know you had,
- 3:45we talked about your
- 3:45cardiologist and I know
- 3:46that you had a primary care
- 3:47follow-up with your new doctor on Friday,
- 3:49right?
- 3:51Correct.
- 3:51Okay.
- 3:52How is that?
- 3:52You're liking your new primary care?
- 3:56Liking the new primary care
- 3:59much better than the old.
- 4:02She was very,
- 4:03she took a lot of time to
- 4:06explain everything to me in
- 4:08very second grade terms.
- 4:10So I understood what everything was.
- 4:15Our plan is to,
- 4:17I told her my plan is to
- 4:18get off as many
- 4:19prescriptions as possible.
- 4:21Once everything is righted,
- 4:22she was on board for that.
- 4:26But she explained to me that
- 4:28the AFib is such a big
- 4:29thing and can be a
- 4:31contributor to a lot of the
- 4:33different things that we are dealing with,
- 4:36that we need to get that
- 4:37corrected to see what then
- 4:40corrects itself from the
- 4:41AFib being corrected.
- 4:42And then what do we need to
- 4:44do going forward?
- 4:46Gotcha.
- 4:47Can I ask you,
- 4:48did the primary care
- 4:50physician or the
- 4:51cardiologist put specific
- 4:54guidelines in place for exercise?
- 4:56Did they tell you what to and to not do?
- 4:59Not yet, no.
- 5:00Did you guys have that conversation?
- 5:03So the primary care physician...
- 5:06very much at the end of our
- 5:09conversation said,
- 5:10there's a lot more we need to talk about,
- 5:12but I don't want it to be
- 5:14so much that you're overwhelmed.
- 5:16I want you to get through
- 5:17next week and then we're
- 5:19going to meet again,
- 5:20I think in like two weeks.
- 5:22I got you.
- 5:24All right.
- 5:25So I want to kind of dive
- 5:26into that a little bit more,
- 5:27but I want to kind of check
- 5:28a couple of other things
- 5:30first and foremost.
- 5:31So aside from the heart,
- 5:33how are the lungs feeling?
- 5:36The lung infection, the coughing,
- 5:38the pneumonia.
- 5:41So I've had a little more
- 5:42coughing this week than I did last week.
- 5:46And I talked to the doctor
- 5:48about that because it was
- 5:49increasing even the end of last week.
- 5:51And she explained to me that
- 5:53that could be the AFib.
- 5:55and that we need to get rid
- 5:57of that to know if that is better.
- 6:00But I can climb stairs better now.
- 6:02I'm not running marathons up there,
- 6:06running sprints up them,
- 6:08but I'm not really super
- 6:10winded at the top of the stairs now.
- 6:12Got it.
- 6:13Okay.
- 6:13So as I was saying,
- 6:15I had been doing some research,
- 6:17a little bit more deep diving into AFib.
- 6:19I mean, I've heard of it happening.
- 6:20It was happening to my grandfather,
- 6:22you know, in his life.
- 6:24And it is common when people
- 6:25do have infections and stuff like that,
- 6:28or when they're in the
- 6:29earliest stages of
- 6:29congestive heart failure.
- 6:31But yours, I think,
- 6:32was triggered secondary to
- 6:33something else.
- 6:35And this is something,
- 6:36a condition that people
- 6:38actually have to live with.
- 6:39Like AFib is not this thing where you,
- 6:44some people actually live with AFib.
- 6:46It's not something that they can avoid.
- 6:49And everything that I am
- 6:50reading about AFib tells
- 6:52you that you should be moving.
- 6:55that you should be doing
- 6:57some form of activity.
- 6:59It just should not be in a
- 7:00way that drives your heart rate up.
- 7:03So like it says,
- 7:05and I've read a few
- 7:07different research studies
- 7:08and things is saying that
- 7:09you want to be doing things like walking,
- 7:12very light cycling, you know,
- 7:15even lightweight training
- 7:17that doesn't raise your
- 7:18heart rate is all actually
- 7:21indicated for like to help.
- 7:23with things.
- 7:24And so that's why I was
- 7:26asking if you had had that
- 7:27conversation with your
- 7:28doctor because of what I
- 7:30had been reading about.
- 7:32So I misunderstood you.
- 7:33I thought you meant after
- 7:34this procedure is done.
- 7:37But they have told me not to
- 7:40do anything that raises my
- 7:41heart rate at all because
- 7:43of the stroke risk and the
- 7:45other things going on.
- 7:46And that the fact that when
- 7:49I went into the hospital,
- 7:50my heart rate was at 150
- 7:53and it took them a lot to
- 7:54get it down to normal.
- 7:55Okay, that's what I was asking about.
- 7:57If they had talked to you about that,
- 7:59because I'm like, okay,
- 8:00because what's the worst
- 8:01case scenario here?
- 8:02What if when we have this procedure,
- 8:04nothing changes?
- 8:05Like,
- 8:05I just wanted to kind of know what
- 8:07that looks like.
- 8:08And I guess you guys haven't
- 8:08had that conversation in terms of that.
- 8:10So we're trying to hopefully
- 8:11see how things go tomorrow, correct?
- 8:14Correct.
- 8:15And then there is a more
- 8:16invasive procedure that is
- 8:18the next step if the
- 8:22conversion does not go well.
- 8:25Did they go over any of the
- 8:26things that they might've
- 8:27think that would have triggered the AFib?
- 8:32Like,
- 8:32did she talk about things that
- 8:34might've triggered it?
- 8:36Uh, she thinks it's been, uh,
- 8:39it's been the stuff with my lungs.
- 8:41Okay.
- 8:41So the lung infection,
- 8:42that's kind of what I was thinking too,
- 8:43because like I said,
- 8:45usually when people have
- 8:46like a pulmonary issues, like lung,
- 8:48in fact, like a congestive heart failure,
- 8:50uh,
- 8:51Anything kind of with,
- 8:52it just tends to be the AFib stuff.
- 8:54That's why it typically
- 8:55happens in more elderly or
- 8:57sedentary people.
- 8:58Typically not in people like
- 8:59you that I would think of, but it's rare.
- 9:02I mean, it can happen to somebody in their,
- 9:04it says early twenties
- 9:05could have it happen to them randomly.
- 9:06So hopefully we'll get some answers there.
- 9:09How about your blood sugar?
- 9:10How's that been?
- 9:13So it's been bouncing between 140 and 170.
- 9:17The other thing is she's,
- 9:18so I was taking it a lot.
- 9:20When I got out of the hospital,
- 9:21they told me to take it four times a day.
- 9:23She's like, that's dumb.
- 9:25You're only taking insulin once a day.
- 9:27And that's the only one that
- 9:30matters is your fasted
- 9:33blood sugar in the morning
- 9:35after taking the insulin at night.
- 9:37So now that I'm taking it
- 9:39just in the morning,
- 9:40it's more consistent.
- 9:41And it's still been between 140 and 170?
- 9:44Yeah.
- 9:45But it was at 380, remember,
- 9:47at the hospital.
- 9:48Yeah.
- 9:51So,
- 9:51and she wants it under 130 is what
- 9:53we're striving for.
- 9:55Yeah.
- 9:55I mean, prior to all this,
- 9:58your blood sugar was in a
- 9:59pretty good range.
- 10:00Like,
- 10:00I don't think you were having your
- 10:01last labs where...
- 10:03Decent.
- 10:04All right.
- 10:04So we're going to go through
- 10:05your check-in.
- 10:06I got your check-in form.
- 10:07Yay.
- 10:09So a couple of things you guys can do.
- 10:11Scott's win for the week.
- 10:12He logged all of his food.
- 10:14He kept his fiber up and slept well,
- 10:17feeling a lot better.
- 10:18And I have actually been
- 10:20kind of like looking at
- 10:20your food diary almost
- 10:22daily just to kind of see, you know,
- 10:24kind of like, is he logging things?
- 10:25Is he checking in?
- 10:26Cause I've been wanting to
- 10:26keep on your ass and you've
- 10:27been doing a pretty good job of it.
- 10:30I know you mentioned you had
- 10:31a couple of meals out with friends.
- 10:32Is that right?
- 10:34yeah chinese and mexican the
- 10:37other two nights were those
- 10:38just like let me see what
- 10:39you launched first and
- 10:40foremost um see thursday
- 10:45looks like you were at home
- 10:47friday it was friday night
- 10:50um steamed cabbage spinach
- 10:53and uh like a brisket yeah
- 10:56that wasn't a bad choice
- 10:57that was at a mexican
- 10:58restaurant yeah or no that
- 11:01was chinese very authentic chinese
- 11:04okay all right um and then
- 11:07you had saturday was home
- 11:10it looks like maybe yep had
- 11:13a burger and a hot dog
- 11:15right yeah okay and then
- 11:19sunday was home or was that
- 11:22that was the pep that was
- 11:23the mexican day that was
- 11:25home okay last last night
- 11:29was out I got it the the
- 11:32chicken enchiladas
- 11:33I think you probably did a
- 11:34pretty decent job of logging that too.
- 11:37So your fat intake is still sitting high,
- 11:39but a lot of that is because of your, um,
- 11:43you know, eating out a couple of days,
- 11:45like the days that you're at home,
- 11:47not as much as it was like Saturday,
- 11:51Monday.
- 11:52So how has the gut stuff been going,
- 11:54the burping and all that stuff?
- 11:57Um, it's, it's better.
- 11:59Um, I still have an occasional episode, um,
- 12:04but it's getting much better.
- 12:05Yeah.
- 12:06I think we really got to
- 12:07keep working on getting
- 12:08that fat intake down and
- 12:09that's going to help.
- 12:10I think with that, cause like I said,
- 12:11I mentioned last time on
- 12:12your doctor mentioned,
- 12:13you want to also look at
- 12:14the gallbladder too.
- 12:15And excess fat is just
- 12:17putting more stress on the gallbladder,
- 12:19you know?
- 12:20So I know that it,
- 12:21it tends to be still within
- 12:23your calorie intake, but
- 12:25you know,
- 12:25like a lot of your days you're hitting,
- 12:27you know,
- 12:27a hundred grams of fat on Thursday.
- 12:31Um, so, and I know, like I said,
- 12:32the other days you were, you know,
- 12:35eating out and sometimes
- 12:36it's just harder to control
- 12:37that you gotta do the best you can,
- 12:38but I'm looking at all the variables.
- 12:40So you did a really good job though,
- 12:42of tracking everything.
- 12:43And like you mentioned,
- 12:45you got the fiber in, which I love.
- 12:47So, um, let's see.
- 12:50I just want to double check
- 12:51one more thing.
- 12:52All right, cool.
- 12:53All right, back to your check-in form.
- 12:55You're getting in plenty of water.
- 12:56You're weighing your food out.
- 12:58No alcohol, which is always good.
- 13:00Steps are low,
- 13:00which is what I would expect.
- 13:01You did mention that your appetite is up.
- 13:03So are you getting more
- 13:04hungry throughout the day?
- 13:05I feel like I am.
- 13:08And...
- 13:15I'm incorporating more
- 13:16snacks than I have in a long time.
- 13:22So that's what I'm hoping is
- 13:23taking care of that.
- 13:24Okay.
- 13:29I know you mentioned that
- 13:30you're not feeling better,
- 13:31but I would honestly say I
- 13:33think you are making improvements.
- 13:36No, no.
- 13:36I said I'm feeling better.
- 13:37Okay.
- 13:39Like I'm able to do more.
- 13:41Okay.
- 13:42I just...
- 13:43You want to be better.
- 13:44You want to feel better.
- 13:46Yeah.
- 13:46And I still like,
- 13:48I still cough more than I want to.
- 13:50I still, and yeah.
- 13:53Yeah.
- 13:54I can like riding in a car
- 13:56is very hard for me right now.
- 13:57Yeah.
- 13:58I can relate to that.
- 13:59It's like,
- 13:59it's not that you're not making progress.
- 14:01It's just,
- 14:02you wish it was a little bit
- 14:03better than it is.
- 14:05And I'm,
- 14:06I'm hoping that and praying that
- 14:08tomorrow things go the way
- 14:09that we want them to so
- 14:11that you can start making progress again,
- 14:13you know, in, you know,
- 14:15so I think that I know it's hard,
- 14:17you know,
- 14:18like you're the kind of person that,
- 14:19you know,
- 14:19and we're going to talk more
- 14:20about some other stuff,
- 14:21but I wanted to just kind of check in on,
- 14:22you know, that kind of stuff.
- 14:23Um,
- 14:25You're getting tired throughout your day,
- 14:27getting sleepy.
- 14:28So I think that that might be,
- 14:31do you think that you're
- 14:31sleeping well throughout the night?
- 14:33Like I know that you sleep a
- 14:34lot when you're sleeping,
- 14:35but do you think that
- 14:36you're getting into a deep sleep?
- 14:39I think I am for small chunks.
- 14:42I think I do my night in two phases,
- 14:45like a 10 to two and then
- 14:48like a three 30 to seven.
- 14:51Okay.
- 14:52Because that could be affecting things.
- 14:53And I honestly think that,
- 14:56You know, the main thing is,
- 14:59is that when we can get you
- 15:00back to moving a little bit more,
- 15:01I think your energy is going to come up.
- 15:04I think you're going to
- 15:05start to feel a little bit better.
- 15:06I think your sleep is going
- 15:08to get a little bit better.
- 15:10It's funny because I sent
- 15:11this post to one of my friends,
- 15:14one of my clients who was
- 15:15kind of struggling with
- 15:16like feeling a little
- 15:18burned out from working out.
- 15:20And she just hasn't been
- 15:21able to get back into a routine.
- 15:22And I'm like, listen,
- 15:24and I just found a post
- 15:25that I just happened to be
- 15:26scrolling through and I saw,
- 15:27and it was like something
- 15:28along the lines of people
- 15:31wait for the energy and the
- 15:33desire to feel good enough to work out.
- 15:35And they don't realize how
- 15:36working out makes them feel
- 15:37so much better.
- 15:37And I think that right now
- 15:38where you're at is you're
- 15:40at that place of like,
- 15:41you don't feel as energized
- 15:42because you can't work out
- 15:43because you can't move your body.
- 15:45the way that you're intended to,
- 15:47you and I both know that
- 15:48when we're working out,
- 15:49like it's such a mood boost, you know,
- 15:51it's such a, it makes you feel better.
- 15:54It makes you,
- 15:54everything is better when you can,
- 15:56you know, work out.
- 15:56I'm always, that's why I, no matter what,
- 15:59I feel like I will always
- 16:00do two sessions a day only
- 16:02because I like to start my
- 16:03day with movement.
- 16:04I usually do like an hour or so of work,
- 16:06maybe two hours.
- 16:07And then I like, all right, time to, you
- 16:11I do something to kind of
- 16:12get my body moving and I start to,
- 16:13I'm just so much more productive,
- 16:15but I just can't lift heavy
- 16:16in the morning.
- 16:17I don't know how Lex does it.
- 16:18I think Lex is an early morning girl.
- 16:19I don't know how she does
- 16:21that first thing in the morning,
- 16:22lifting heavy barbells and stuff.
- 16:24Like super early.
- 16:26Yeah, I just can't.
- 16:27I mean, I'm up early, but I work,
- 16:28that's why I work for a little bit first.
- 16:30And then I'm like, all right,
- 16:31now I can eat some
- 16:32breakfast and get some
- 16:33movement in and really
- 16:34start to dive into things.
- 16:36But I can't, the lifting heavy, 5, 6 a.m.,
- 16:40not going to work for me.
- 16:41But so, yeah, I mean,
- 16:43I feel like everything
- 16:44movement wise is on hold
- 16:46until after tomorrow.
- 16:48When is your follow up with
- 16:49the cardiologist or your
- 16:51primary care to recheck the
- 16:52heart and see how things
- 16:53have worked or they do it
- 16:54or will they know right away?
- 16:58I think they'll know right away.
- 16:59Okay.
- 17:00Yeah.
- 17:03And,
- 17:03and then I'll probably meet with the
- 17:04cardiologist tomorrow, um,
- 17:09after the procedure.
- 17:11So I'll probably know more than,
- 17:12and then my, like I said,
- 17:14my primary care is two weeks from now,
- 17:16but she won't do like,
- 17:18she won't do an EKG to know it's like,
- 17:21that'll all be through the cardiologist.
- 17:23Okay.
- 17:24I think that my main
- 17:26question for you is to
- 17:27leave the doctor tomorrow.
- 17:30with a clear understanding
- 17:31of what movement you are cleared for.
- 17:33Hey, am I able to walk?
- 17:36Am I able to be on my cycle
- 17:38bike and move a little bit?
- 17:39Am I able to do some basic
- 17:41body weight strength
- 17:42movements as long as my
- 17:45heart rate stays in under a
- 17:47certain rate or whatever?
- 17:49Am I able to do these things?
- 17:51Because I know that my
- 17:53physical and mental health,
- 17:54like I feel better when I move.
- 17:57So we can kind of start to
- 17:58see what we're cleared for
- 18:00and what that looks like,
- 18:01because that's going to be
- 18:02the next step is figuring out, okay,
- 18:04what can we get you doing?
- 18:06Because I think that not
- 18:08doing anything is just not
- 18:09good for the body either.
- 18:10So, and I want to get you feeling better.
- 18:12So I would make sure that
- 18:13tomorrow you leave without
- 18:15like not leaving without
- 18:16asking that question, you know?
- 18:18So,
- 18:18and he's probably not going to expect
- 18:20that from you,
- 18:20but I think it is an
- 18:21important question to ask.
- 18:24Yeah, I, I'm anxious for that.
- 18:28Again, I've had a,
- 18:30So many listeners reach out
- 18:31to me that have had this
- 18:33and been through this.
- 18:36And some of them have really
- 18:38voiced concerns with they
- 18:39had a hard time getting back to CrossFit.
- 18:41And to not have my mind set on that,
- 18:45that it might be something
- 18:48different for now.
- 18:49Yeah.
- 18:49And listen, it's not you.
- 18:51But here's the deal is.
- 18:54I'm going to take a step back and say,
- 18:57when people say they can't
- 18:59get back to CrossFit,
- 19:01what they really mean is
- 19:02they can't get back to
- 19:05pushing the intensity and
- 19:08hitting it so hard that
- 19:09they're like lying on their back.
- 19:11You have limitations.
- 19:13You cannot get your heart
- 19:14rate up right now.
- 19:15We know that.
- 19:16That doesn't mean you can't do CrossFit.
- 19:18It doesn't mean you can't
- 19:19still do some basic strength training,
- 19:21do some biking.
- 19:22Does it need to be modified?
- 19:24Absolutely.
- 19:25But I think when people,
- 19:26I was literally most about
- 19:29CrossFit today because I
- 19:30think people don't
- 19:31understand what they're
- 19:33saying when they say CrossFit.
- 19:35CrossFit is as simple as like,
- 19:37I put a barbell on my back
- 19:38today and I did five by
- 19:39five back squats and I
- 19:41didn't go too heavy because
- 19:42I wasn't feeling it.
- 19:44That's CrossFit.
- 19:45CrossFit is also sometimes, yeah,
- 19:48doing the high intensity stuff,
- 19:49but we can do other things.
- 19:51It's going to be very modified.
- 19:53And I know that if you,
- 19:54I think that getting you back in the gym,
- 19:57but having some clear cut
- 19:58expectations of what your
- 20:00workouts need to look like,
- 20:02you might be walking from
- 20:03station to station and
- 20:05doing ring rows and doing
- 20:06lunges at a very slow and
- 20:08controlled pace.
- 20:09But guess what?
- 20:11You can still do the workouts.
- 20:13And that's really important.
- 20:14Like you,
- 20:15I don't want you to walk away and think,
- 20:17oh, I just can't do these things.
- 20:19I, I think that people don't understand.
- 20:22that it's not well I think
- 20:24it's just human nature what
- 20:25are crossfitters
- 20:27crossfitters are just so
- 20:28conditioned to go so hard
- 20:31all the time that they miss
- 20:33the whole purpose of
- 20:34crossfit which is keeping
- 20:36you well keeping you out of
- 20:38the nursing home and it's
- 20:39the stuff that people are
- 20:40like oh great glassman got
- 20:41away from the sport of
- 20:42fitness no he was also
- 20:44trying to cater to the fact
- 20:45that he wanted people to be
- 20:45healthy and happy and it
- 20:47wasn't just about the sport so
- 20:50trust me,
- 20:51I'm all about the competitive
- 20:52side of things.
- 20:52I love it.
- 20:53I love, I love competition.
- 20:54I love pushing myself.
- 20:55In fact,
- 20:55I had to do a 2k time trial this morning.
- 20:58And let me tell you,
- 20:59I was like hating CrossFit for about last,
- 21:03well, from last night till today.
- 21:04I was like, why do I do this to myself?
- 21:07But I had to tell myself if
- 21:10I ain't feeling it,
- 21:11I'm just going to go at a moderate pace.
- 21:13I gave myself that out,
- 21:14but I didn't do that.
- 21:16I hit it.
- 21:16So anyways,
- 21:21I'm going to set it now.
- 21:22Let you, let you talk back to me.
- 21:26Yeah.
- 21:27Um, I think the entire chat is backing you,
- 21:31um,
- 21:31that everything is infinitely scalable
- 21:33and that, um,
- 21:36CrossFit includes everything
- 21:38just at different levels.
- 21:39So, um, yeah, I love,
- 21:43I love Corey's message.
- 21:44These ring muscle ups will
- 21:45definitely keep me out of
- 21:46the nursing home.
- 21:48Yeah.
- 21:48Well, you know,
- 21:50You never know when you
- 21:51might fall and break a leg
- 21:55and need to use your arms
- 21:56to get yourself back up.
- 21:58So very could possibly could happen.
- 22:01In fact,
- 22:01my grandfather fell and landed on
- 22:03his hip.
- 22:04If my grandfather was strong enough to,
- 22:06and that was actually what
- 22:06ended up killing him.
- 22:07Cause that's when he got sick.
- 22:09If he was actually strong
- 22:10enough to pull himself up,
- 22:12he might've been in a different boat.
- 22:14So bad memories, but.
- 22:17Also a reminder of why the
- 22:19people that can do muscle
- 22:20ups in their sixties are
- 22:22likely not going to have those problems.
- 22:24So, um,
- 22:26I'm looking at some of the comments
- 22:27that we've been kind of
- 22:28talking back and forth just
- 22:30to kind of see,
- 22:30and Corey was being 100% serious.
- 22:34I would agree.
- 22:35Um, all right.
- 22:36So plan this week.
- 22:38All right.
- 22:38Your weight is right around two 92.
- 22:43I don't foresee a lot of
- 22:46movement on the scale very quickly.
- 22:51Your appetite is coming back.
- 22:54So I really think that this
- 22:57week we really just got to push.
- 23:00I think protein's been a bit
- 23:01of a struggle.
- 23:02Let me just kind of take a look.
- 23:07But you've also,
- 23:08I think the main reason is
- 23:08because you've had,
- 23:09like you had a couple of
- 23:10days where you were eating out.
- 23:13And that really, I think,
- 23:15affects everything.
- 23:16Whenever you have to eat at restaurants,
- 23:18it's always a lot harder.
- 23:19You also did say that you've
- 23:21been getting hungrier for snacks.
- 23:23So we can also work on
- 23:24building in some higher
- 23:26protein snacks that will
- 23:27also really help as well.
- 23:30So can we think of maybe
- 23:32some high protein snacks
- 23:34that you could utilize?
- 23:35I do see you doing the jerky,
- 23:36which is good.
- 23:38Hard boiled egg whites even,
- 23:41you could do that.
- 23:42Anything deli turkey on rice cakes,
- 23:45you know, or even in like a,
- 23:46one of those Joseph's pitas, um,
- 23:49anything like that to kind
- 23:50of add some protein into
- 23:51your snacks is going to be helpful.
- 23:53Like whey protein smoothies
- 23:55can make protein.
- 23:57one of my clients wanted
- 23:58some protein bar recipes
- 23:59and I just sent her a bunch
- 24:01of like easy protein
- 24:03desserts and snacks and all that kind of,
- 24:04you like Greek yogurt, you know,
- 24:06I don't know.
- 24:07It all depends on are you
- 24:09team sweet or team salty
- 24:10when it comes to snacks, you know,
- 24:12so you have to know what
- 24:12you're in the mood for to
- 24:14kind of plan your snacks out.
- 24:15So I think that that's where
- 24:16we can really get a little
- 24:17bit more protein.
- 24:20Yeah.
- 24:20I, um, I am definitely team salty, uh,
- 24:23not sweet, uh,
- 24:25Um, so I've been doing,
- 24:28been trying to do Greek yogurt.
- 24:30Um, I am not a huge Greek yogurt fan.
- 24:33I do need to have some fruit
- 24:34or something in it.
- 24:35Um, have you tried to,
- 24:38have you tried the Chobani
- 24:40zero sugar vanilla?
- 24:41Uh, so I use the two good vanilla honey.
- 24:46Okay.
- 24:47Um, zero sugar and it, I like it fine.
- 24:51Um,
- 24:52but I'm never going to love Greek yogurt.
- 24:55Well,
- 24:55what I was going to say is if you
- 24:56take that and you add a
- 24:57little bit of vanilla
- 24:58protein powder to it,
- 25:00and you could even add
- 25:02sugar-free Cool Whip and
- 25:04make like a bigger bowl.
- 25:05And then you can top that
- 25:06with like berries and a
- 25:08little bit of like
- 25:09multigrain Cheerios and
- 25:10make like a parfait.
- 25:11That's a really easy, like low calorie,
- 25:14higher protein snack.
- 25:16You can even,
- 25:17you can bake with Greek yogurt.
- 25:19So I've seen people there's like,
- 25:23There's a brand,
- 25:24Pillsbury makes a devil's food,
- 25:26zero sugar, if you like sweets, cupcake.
- 25:30And you can use just using
- 25:32Greek yogurt and that to
- 25:33make a little cupcake.
- 25:34But Team Salty,
- 25:35I think that the turkey jerky is good.
- 25:38I think things like deli
- 25:40turkey is also good.
- 25:42There's a really easy recipe
- 25:43for a cottage cheese pizza dip,
- 25:46which is really good.
- 25:48If you don't like cottage
- 25:49cheese because of the texture,
- 25:50just whip it first so that
- 25:52you don't get the little chunks.
- 25:53But you mix that with a
- 25:54little bit of fat-free mozzarella,
- 25:56marinara sauce, turkey pepperoni,
- 25:58and then you can dip that in some like,
- 26:01I'll take one of those
- 26:02Joseph's lavash and you can
- 26:03cut it into strips, toast them,
- 26:05and then you've got a high fiber chip
- 26:08that you can dip the cottage cheese dip in,
- 26:11which is really good.
- 26:12You can even make like a
- 26:13little homemade like pizza.
- 26:15If you like salty,
- 26:16like almost like little
- 26:17bagel bites using those pitas.
- 26:20I love those Joseph's pitas.
- 26:21I use them.
- 26:22Another snack I've been doing.
- 26:23Do you like, you're, you're muted.
- 26:26I just got two packages of the lavash.
- 26:29Yeah.
- 26:31Do you like tuna?
- 26:32And like,
- 26:32do you like tuna salad and chicken salad?
- 26:35I like tuna.
- 26:36I've been doing one of my
- 26:37snacks right now has been
- 26:39taking tuna salad instead of using mayo.
- 26:41I use nonfat plain Greek yogurt,
- 26:43a little bit of Dijon mustard.
- 26:45And I don't know, I'm probably weird,
- 26:47but growing up,
- 26:48we always put pickle in our tuna.
- 26:50So I always put diced pickle
- 26:52in mine and I mix it all up, salt, pepper,
- 26:54and I put that on a toast pita.
- 26:57It's really good.
- 26:58Like that's all ways to get
- 27:00more protein in that are salty as well.
- 27:04Yeah, I...
- 27:06I'll try that.
- 27:07I've tried that before.
- 27:09I like olives in my tuna
- 27:10instead of pickles.
- 27:11You can do that.
- 27:13They're not super high in fat.
- 27:14As long as you're switching out the mayo,
- 27:16you'll be fine.
- 27:18So, but you, the best,
- 27:20the best nonfat yogurt to
- 27:22use when you're making it
- 27:23for like tuna or anything
- 27:25like that is the Faye brand nonfat.
- 27:28It's a little bit thicker and creamier.
- 27:31Um, that works really well.
- 27:32You can use that to make tuna salad,
- 27:34chicken salad.
- 27:35In fact,
- 27:35you could even make like a high protein,
- 27:37um, like macaroni salad with that.
- 27:40You could use some of that
- 27:41and like using like a whole wheat pasta,
- 27:43it'd be an easy lunch.
- 27:44If you want something a
- 27:45little bit different, that's,
- 27:46Those are great like summertime foods.
- 27:48I grew up,
- 27:49we used to have a quote unquote
- 27:50salads night, like very American.
- 27:52We would have like tuna salad, egg salad,
- 27:55which I never liked egg salad.
- 27:56And then we would have like
- 27:57macaroni salad and potato
- 27:59salad and all frigging tons
- 28:01of mayo and everything.
- 28:02But yeah,
- 28:03those are good little easy snacks.
- 28:05I think you would like the pizza dip.
- 28:07and an easy tuna that's like
- 28:09those are the tuna is very
- 28:11satiating when I eat that
- 28:13it's like okay I gotta you
- 28:15know make sure I because
- 28:15I'm trying to I'm on the
- 28:17opposite end of the
- 28:17spectrum I'm on the gains
- 28:18train so I have to make
- 28:20sure when I do that I don't
- 28:21do the low carb pitas I do
- 28:24the regular pitas just
- 28:25because I'm trying to get a
- 28:26little bit more carbs in
- 28:27not lower um yeah all right
- 28:30I actually like tuna just
- 28:33like the pouches I'll just
- 28:34eat it right out of the pouch
- 28:36Yeah.
- 28:36See, I don't like it like that.
- 28:38She's not my thing.
- 28:39I just, I don't know.
- 28:41So, um,
- 28:43this week I want you to kind of
- 28:44focus on trying to stay, you know,
- 28:47cause I want to get your
- 28:48blood sugar down.
- 28:49Um, and I, I know that right now your,
- 28:51your appetite's coming back,
- 28:53but as much as you can,
- 28:54I want you to try and stay
- 28:54as close to your numbers as you can.
- 28:57Um, you're at one 85 protein,
- 28:59one 85 carbs and 65 fats,
- 29:01just because right now
- 29:02you're just not moving a whole lot.
- 29:04And I,
- 29:05when it comes to like talking about
- 29:06insulin, um,
- 29:08trying to improve insulin sensitivity,
- 29:10people focus so much on carbs.
- 29:12And what it really is,
- 29:13is it's not carbs and isolation,
- 29:15it's calories.
- 29:16So if I have you in a little
- 29:17bit of a calorie deficit,
- 29:18that's going to make you
- 29:19more insulin sensitive.
- 29:20Your body's going to have to
- 29:21burn through stored fuel.
- 29:23So that's why I want you to
- 29:25be a little bit closer to those numbers.
- 29:27Remembering again,
- 29:28you don't have to be a
- 29:29macro perfectionist,
- 29:30but like at least 165 grams of protein
- 29:34up to 205.
- 29:35Like I'm okay with that range.
- 29:36Same thing on carbs, 165 to 205.
- 29:39One day you might not be as hungry.
- 29:41One day you might be a
- 29:42little bit more hungry.
- 29:43Okay.
- 29:43We're giving you a bigger
- 29:44ballpark there and really
- 29:45trying to keep the fat
- 29:46under 80 this week.
- 29:48And that's going to really, I think,
- 29:49double down on everything.
- 29:51So you might want to do a
- 29:53little bit of pre-planning, you know,
- 29:55especially around dinner time, you know,
- 29:57and I know that it's hard.
- 29:58Listen,
- 29:59The other thing I'm going to
- 29:59say is I know it's hard
- 30:01because you're also trying
- 30:02to keep your relationship
- 30:04into consideration and you
- 30:06want to make everybody happy.
- 30:08But right now your health is a concern.
- 30:10So I think that that your
- 30:12wife is likely going to
- 30:14understand that you have
- 30:15some dietary restrictions right now.
- 30:19Yeah.
- 30:21And isn't she?
- 30:21She's doing very well.
- 30:23Good.
- 30:24It's been more me this week with like,
- 30:26I've just been stuck in my house.
- 30:29Um,
- 30:29and the reason I went out to eat twice
- 30:31was just to see some people.
- 30:33Cause I've been kind of alone for a week.
- 30:37So, um, just needed to,
- 30:40to see some people and I
- 30:42had to meet them where they were.
- 30:44And that's also,
- 30:45I want to get you back to
- 30:45the gym because I feel like
- 30:48you need to be around people.
- 30:50I do think that,
- 30:52In fact, my mood this week,
- 30:54cause I've been getting
- 30:54back into the gym.
- 30:56I know I'm a happier person
- 30:57when I'm around those people.
- 30:58Like I really am a much happier person,
- 31:01even if I'm not.
- 31:02And I actually,
- 31:03I actually took class cause
- 31:03they were doing the same workout as me,
- 31:05which was fun.
- 31:06But I love when, when obviously I can,
- 31:09I can jump into class and
- 31:10all that kinds of stuff.
- 31:11So yeah,
- 31:12I want to hear more about the
- 31:14doctor's appointment tomorrow.
- 31:15So yeah,
- 31:15just kind of looking at where
- 31:16you're at metabolically calorie wise.
- 31:19I think that the amount of calories that
- 31:22you have in there,
- 31:23even if you're over a little bit,
- 31:25you're in a good spot.
- 31:30I know the weight hasn't
- 31:34jumped a bunch this week,
- 31:35but I feel way less puffy.
- 31:41I feel like that's kind of coming off.
- 31:44Well, that's all the inflammation.
- 31:46Think about how inflamed your body was.
- 31:48All that stuff going on, the blood sugar,
- 31:50the blood sugar being off,
- 31:52all of that stuff was out of whack.
- 31:53Like your body's been under
- 31:54the constant state of stress, you know,
- 31:57and they probably didn't
- 31:58even check like your cortisol levels,
- 32:00but that was probably off, you know,
- 32:01like there's probably a
- 32:02bunch of other things that were off.
- 32:03So your body's regulating a little bit.
- 32:05That's why I was asking
- 32:06about clearance on things.
- 32:09So I think that, you know,
- 32:10keeping your numbers within
- 32:11range and then, um, tomorrow, you know,
- 32:14kind of like letting us
- 32:15know what the doctor clears you for.
- 32:18would be good.
- 32:19And, you know,
- 32:19Carolyn did make a good
- 32:20point about mobility.
- 32:22I know we had talked about that.
- 32:23Are you doing anything for
- 32:24mobility right now?
- 32:25I am.
- 32:27Okay.
- 32:27All right.
- 32:28Are you,
- 32:28are you following a program or
- 32:29just kind of stretching
- 32:30throughout your day?
- 32:32I am following the mobility movement app.
- 32:34Okay.
- 32:35All right.
- 32:36As long as you're doing something,
- 32:37you know,
- 32:37I tend to get lit lacks on my
- 32:40mobility and I know my body
- 32:41feels it when I'm not.
- 32:42So Bruce just asked about, you know,
- 32:47the pedaling, not right now, Bruce,
- 32:49he's still not cleared for that guys.
- 32:51And guys, the sauna, I mean,
- 32:55I don't really think the
- 32:55sauna is gonna help with
- 32:56anything that he's going
- 32:57through right now.
- 32:59I mean, I'll be honest,
- 33:00it's great for like loosening things up,
- 33:03but I don't think the sauna
- 33:05is really gonna be helpful
- 33:06for anything right now.
- 33:07In fact,
- 33:07it actually might make your heart
- 33:09stress a little bit more.
- 33:10I think that any extreme temperatures,
- 33:12hot or cold wouldn't be good right now,
- 33:14so.
- 33:15And everything is going to
- 33:16change tomorrow morning.
- 33:18Yep.
- 33:18So, so we'll know more then.
- 33:22Yeah.
- 33:25Legos.
- 33:26So I finished the Chicago
- 33:27bears helmet other than the face mask,
- 33:30but it's, it's so fragile.
- 33:33I have to glue it as I put it together.
- 33:36Once I'm done with that,
- 33:37I do have the bear stadium,
- 33:39the old soldier field that
- 33:41I'm going to work on.
- 33:43Yeah.
- 33:44Well,
- 33:45that's really just to get my mind
- 33:48like off of everything.
- 33:49Yeah.
- 33:50I think that what you could
- 33:51do is put some work into your podcast,
- 33:53like, you know,
- 33:54put some more stuff into
- 33:55the things that you love doing, you know,
- 33:57like while you're thinking about things,
- 33:58get yourself out of the weeds,
- 34:00get some sleep.
- 34:02Yeah.
- 34:05I think I need something to
- 34:06de-stress from the podcast though, too.
- 34:08Okay.
- 34:08And I think the Legos have become that.
- 34:11Well, that's good.
- 34:11Yeah.
- 34:13Yeah.
- 34:13I don't,
- 34:14it's not like I sit down and like
- 34:16hammer through it.
- 34:17I do a couple of rows a day,
- 34:21which is kind of cool.
- 34:22Cause every day it's a
- 34:23little bit more built than
- 34:24it was the day before.
- 34:25Yeah.
- 34:26That's awesome.
- 34:27Yeah,
- 34:27I still have to get back into puzzling,
- 34:29but I also needed to start
- 34:31working on de-stressing and
- 34:32I've not been doing that very well.
- 34:35I just feel like every time
- 34:36I tell myself I'm going to
- 34:37just sit and watch a movie
- 34:39or do something, I'm like, oh,
- 34:41I want to do this instead.
- 34:42So like I'm starting a new Facebook group,
- 34:45one that has not been put
- 34:46out yet and I'm not going
- 34:47to talk about it just yet.
- 34:49I'm very excited for this Facebook group,
- 34:51but it's coming.
- 34:52That's all you want to know.
- 34:54So.
- 34:55So Bruce asks about sun.
- 34:59We had some sun yesterday.
- 35:00We had some sun this morning,
- 35:03but in the north right now,
- 35:05it's pretty hit or miss what we get.
- 35:08Yeah.
- 35:09They're talking about float tanks.
- 35:10It's funny because I want a
- 35:12gift card for a float tank
- 35:13and I haven't used it yet.
- 35:14And I'm very curious about
- 35:16using the float tanks.
- 35:17I've just not actually used
- 35:19my gift card yet.
- 35:20I probably should go check it out.
- 35:22Haven't really heard good or
- 35:23bad about them,
- 35:24but I just was curious if
- 35:25you guys have had any experience on them,
- 35:28but, uh, anyways.
- 35:30So, yeah,
- 35:30I think this week getting your
- 35:31calories a little closer, macros,
- 35:34I should say,
- 35:36which I think just really
- 35:36just comes down to planning
- 35:38a little bit more ahead.
- 35:40You know,
- 35:40you actually did pretty good most days.
- 35:44I think it's just really
- 35:45looking at dinner time ahead of time.
- 35:48And, um,
- 35:48it just makes sure that you're
- 35:49reading the labels on things.
- 35:51You know,
- 35:52you tend to eat quite a bit of
- 35:53fat at breakfast time.
- 35:54You might want to go back to
- 35:56doing one egg plus egg whites,
- 35:58just in case later in the day,
- 36:00you're getting more fat
- 36:02from other things.
- 36:07So yeah,
- 36:11a lot of people were asking about
- 36:13cooking.
- 36:14I'm a very good cook.
- 36:15I used to be a cook professionally.
- 36:16Um,
- 36:19we do a lot of that.
- 36:21Um, but I have,
- 36:24it's been a long discussion
- 36:25on this podcast about, um, how,
- 36:32how I have to meet my wife halfway.
- 36:37Yeah.
- 36:37Um, for dinner, for dinner specifically.
- 36:40Yeah.
- 36:41And like I told you,
- 36:42just tell your wife dinners
- 36:43have to be high protein, lower fat,
- 36:46much as you can wifey.
- 36:47Can you make that happen?
- 36:47Um,
- 36:48She'll be like,
- 36:49that's being a pain in my butt.
- 36:50So Wazombie wants to send
- 36:52you some Legos and Corey
- 36:57wants a Cooking with Clydesdale segment.
- 36:59I like the way that sounds.
- 37:01Cooking with Clydesdale.
- 37:04I've thought about that a couple times.
- 37:07Yeah.
- 37:07Doing that.
- 37:08I just don't have the big
- 37:09kitchen to be able to get
- 37:12cameras in there.
- 37:13I know.
- 37:14But maybe.
- 37:14I don't know.
- 37:16Yeah.
- 37:17Oh, wow.
- 37:17I also...
- 37:18I hate editing.
- 37:19You're the man.
- 37:19Yeah.
- 37:21Gifted five Clydesdale media memberships.
- 37:22What does that mean?
- 37:24Uh, memberships to the channel.
- 37:29So you can become a member
- 37:30of the Clydesdale media YouTube channel.
- 37:33Um,
- 37:33it helps support us and getting out to
- 37:36all the events and doing what we do,
- 37:38paying for the platform
- 37:39that we use to get on here.
- 37:41Um, and, uh,
- 37:44Yeah.
- 37:45WAD Zombie's been a member for 16 months.
- 37:49We sent the original group that joined,
- 37:53we sent them a C4 welcome
- 37:54pack where C4 gifted them a
- 37:58couple cases of C4.
- 37:59That's awesome.
- 38:00And some different stuff like that.
- 38:02And we'll probably come up with something.
- 38:05Kenneth asked about merch.
- 38:07We are looking at doing new merch.
- 38:10And we are looking at
- 38:12getting a sponsor that is
- 38:13an apparel company and he
- 38:15will be selling our merch.
- 38:17So that way we'll be able to do more.
- 38:20And if you're a member,
- 38:21you'll probably get a
- 38:23benefit toward the merch if
- 38:25you're a member.
- 38:28So that's really cool.
- 38:30We try to give extras where we can.
- 38:33for the members when we have sponsors and,
- 38:36um, stuff like that.
- 38:37So we're working on a couple of sponsors.
- 38:39Hopefully we'll have a
- 38:40couple in the next few weeks.
- 38:42Yeah.
- 38:44So last thing, um, you know,
- 38:46cause this week we're going
- 38:47to focus on a little bit
- 38:49tighter on the nutrition,
- 38:50keeping up with your weigh-ins.
- 38:52Um,
- 38:53How are you feeling about,
- 38:54are you planning on going
- 38:55over to Polaris for the open events,
- 38:58Friday Night Lights?
- 38:58Do they do anything over there?
- 38:59Are you going to go?
- 39:02So this weekend is the
- 39:03Arnold here in Columbus.
- 39:04Okay.
- 39:05And our new sponsor,
- 39:07our new apparel sponsor is
- 39:09going to be there.
- 39:10And so we're looking at
- 39:11doing some stuff with him.
- 39:14Charlie and Jamie are
- 39:16definitely going to be
- 39:16there this weekend doing interviews live.
- 39:21And our new sponsor is
- 39:23making a podcast area in their booth.
- 39:26Okay.
- 39:27So we can do them live at the Arnold.
- 39:29And then whenever he's at an event,
- 39:33we are welcome to come and
- 39:35do our podcast live from his booth.
- 39:37Awesome.
- 39:38So that is one of the
- 39:39relationships we're building this year.
- 39:41So that's a big thing this weekend.
- 39:44And then I may go,
- 39:45I should be feeling better
- 39:47in a week or two to be able
- 39:48to go to like a Friday
- 39:49night lights at Polaris.
- 39:51Cause that's really the only
- 39:53time they do the community
- 39:55WOD or like the community
- 39:57open stuff is Friday night.
- 40:00Okay.
- 40:01So my question is,
- 40:03is can you go to the gym
- 40:05and just say hi to everybody,
- 40:06get out in public?
- 40:09Yeah.
- 40:11So I've been talking to
- 40:12Christie and Patrick.
- 40:13They actually paused my
- 40:14membership for me just so I
- 40:16didn't have to pay for the
- 40:18time that I couldn't be there,
- 40:19but I'm sure they would
- 40:20welcome me over there to say hi.
- 40:22I think you should,
- 40:23but that's what I'm saying.
- 40:24I think that you should go
- 40:25and break the ice.
- 40:27You're not going to work out.
- 40:29You're there just to move around, stretch,
- 40:32maybe help people out with
- 40:33some judging and just say, Hey,
- 40:38I can't wait to come back.
- 40:41I think that that would be
- 40:42really good for you.
- 40:44Yeah.
- 40:45And again, I'll know way more tomorrow.
- 40:47Yeah.
- 40:49It's been really hard to
- 40:50stand for long periods of time.
- 40:53Yeah.
- 40:53I'm not telling you to stay
- 40:54there for two hours, but like,
- 40:57how far is the gym from you?
- 40:5810 minutes, five minutes.
- 41:00Yeah.
- 41:02Go there for your noon class
- 41:04just to say hi.
- 41:05go there at 4 30. and just
- 41:09I'm just stopping by to say
- 41:10quick hi that's normally
- 41:11friday night lights I'm on
- 41:12my way to dinner just
- 41:14wanted to say quick hi pop
- 41:16in just so you know corey I
- 41:18don't take my camera to
- 41:19polaris I really separate
- 41:22what I do at polaris from my podcast yeah
- 41:26I don't ever take a camera there.
- 41:29Um,
- 41:29I've used it as a backdrop a couple of
- 41:31times in the past, but never like, do I,
- 41:34do I go there for content?
- 41:36Agreed.
- 41:37I think it's good for you, but all right.
- 41:39Well,
- 41:40I think that we're in a good spot
- 41:41going into this week.
- 41:42Like, honestly, tomorrow,
- 41:43I just want to hear how
- 41:44everything goes to the doctor.
- 41:46So so you'll probably be done by noon ish.
- 41:52Uh, I would think so.
- 41:53The procedure is less than an hour.
- 41:57So I'll be done by,
- 41:58I'll probably be in recovery by 10.
- 42:01Um, and hopefully home by noon.
- 42:02All right.
- 42:03Well, cool.
- 42:03We'll keep us posted.
- 42:06And Kenneth wad zombie.
- 42:07I would be all down for a
- 42:09collab t-shirt of wad
- 42:11zombie and Clydesdale media.
- 42:15Um, that would be really cool.
- 42:17I feel like the wad zombie
- 42:19Clydesdale collab t-shirt would be epic.
- 42:22I just feel like WAD Zombie
- 42:24would come up with
- 42:24something really freaking cool.
- 42:28Really cool.
- 42:30And if I feel good tomorrow afternoon,
- 42:32I am interviewing Ariel Loewen.
- 42:34Oh, cool.
- 42:34So if you want an update
- 42:36tomorrow afternoon,
- 42:38tomorrow noon at 3.30 Eastern time,
- 42:40Ariel Loewen, she's a friend of mine.
- 42:44So she's like the perfect
- 42:45person to kind of interview
- 42:48right after all this stuff.
- 42:50all this goes on.
- 42:51So awesome.
- 42:52Um,
- 42:53cause it's super laid back and not high
- 42:55pressure with her.
- 42:57Awesome.
- 42:58All right.
- 42:59Well,
- 43:00I think that we've got some work to
- 43:01do this week.
- 43:02Hopefully, well,
- 43:03the doctors have some work
- 43:04to do with Scott this week.
- 43:05We don't have work to do.
- 43:06Hopefully everything goes well.
- 43:08Uh, you will be in my prayers tonight.
- 43:10I have been praying a lot.
- 43:12It's been very helpful.
- 43:13Thank you.
- 43:14And a lot of people have sent me prayers,
- 43:17wishes, everything, man.
- 43:19And I can't tell you,
- 43:20I got a card today from Lana Marcin,
- 43:23one of my favorite people
- 43:24in the CrossFit space.
- 43:26Like the outpouring has been amazing.
- 43:30Nick sent me a sleep apnea machine.
- 43:32Like everybody, everybody is been,
- 43:36has been so cool.
- 43:38I just, I love you all.
- 43:40You're amazing.
- 43:42Yeah.
- 43:43Good crew with, with that.
- 43:46We'll let you go for tonight.
- 43:47We will see everybody next
- 43:49time on the Clydesdale
- 43:50media weight loss journey.
- 43:52Bye guys.
- 43:53Bye.
