- 0:42Speaker 1: Let's get into the points going on the FED yesterday.
- 0:45Speaker 1: One of the things I think that everybody's looking at
- 0:48Speaker 1: is what did you think of the meeting? We did
- 0:51Speaker 1: this poll this morning. Did your own pals remarks at
- 0:54Speaker 1: the meeting have a devish or hawkish tone? Right now
- 0:56Speaker 1: people are saying neutral at forty three percent, leuvish at
- 1:00Speaker 1: thirty five so it is a little bit of a
- 1:02Speaker 1: battle there with almost eighty percent coming in dubbish or neutral,
- 1:08Speaker 1: and I was a little bit more on the dubbish side.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I think I still am a little bit on the
- 1:13Speaker 1: dutish side in the sense of it was anticipated to
- 1:17Speaker 1: be hawkish. So that alone made this a much different
- 1:21Speaker 1: meeting than what we were looking at. The other thing
- 1:24Speaker 1: that is happening is that the S and P five
- 1:26Speaker 1: hundred surged sixty nine hundred for the first time since
- 1:29Speaker 1: October twenty ninth, but Crypto is lagging.
- 1:33Speaker 2: What's the reason?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Everybody thinks that it is the four year cycle fud
- 1:37Speaker 1: that's happening right now.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I think we are.
- 1:41Speaker 1: More in regulation danger and maybe the smart investors realize it.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And what I'm talking about, what's going on with the
- 1:49Speaker 1: Clarity Act.
- 1:49Speaker 2: We'll talk about that.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We're going to do a full video breaking down on that,
- 1:53Speaker 1: So make sure and subscribe to the show because when
- 1:56Speaker 1: we do that video, you want to watch it. It
- 1:58Speaker 1: is a breakdown of what's happening in the Clarity Act,
- 2:01Speaker 1: who's responsible for all this changes, what's going on that
- 2:05Speaker 1: could really impact DeFi and also much more so, we're
- 2:09Speaker 1: gonna talk a little a little bit about it today,
- 2:10Speaker 1: but it's a big deal going forward. Other things I
- 2:14Speaker 1: want to hit on, of course, is do people still
- 2:16Speaker 1: believe in the Santa rally now? Most of the time
- 2:19Speaker 1: on these FED meetings you get a little bit of
- 2:21Speaker 1: a lot down, the market kind of recoils, which is
- 2:23Speaker 1: kind of where we are right now the day after
- 2:25Speaker 1: the FED meeting. But we are going into the end
- 2:29Speaker 1: of year and this might be a scenario where you
- 2:31Speaker 1: do get a Santa rally. Now, could we be setting
- 2:34Speaker 1: up for a run end of December? Many people right
- 2:39Speaker 1: now still believe that it's possible.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Is it?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Maybe? I think, but I think.
- 2:44Speaker 1: The odds are lowering fast, especially with every day passing.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Now with bitcoin trading in at right at ninety k
- 2:52Speaker 1: as we're recording this, Let's take a look at Fear
- 2:55Speaker 1: and Greed right now, holding at twenty nine, which is
- 2:58Speaker 1: interesting for it to be that high right there. It's
- 3:02Speaker 1: up quite a bit from where it was just on
- 3:04Speaker 1: the twenty second of November at ten. That was the
- 3:08Speaker 1: lowest side've ever seen at ten and now it's almost
- 3:11Speaker 1: three x of that trading in at twenty nine on
- 3:14Speaker 1: the Fear and Greed. So are you guys still in
- 3:17Speaker 1: a position where you feel that this is a long
- 3:20Speaker 1: term play. Have you started to lock up your tokens
- 3:23Speaker 1: into self custody because you're getting ready for a bear market?
- 3:27Speaker 1: What of the ways you're playing the market right now?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Let me know down in the comments. Other things I
- 3:33Speaker 1: want to hit on, of course, is silver Man. Silver
- 3:36Speaker 1: is now one of the world's top five assets. This
- 3:38Speaker 1: overtakes Microsoft. So this is unbelievable. As we continue to
- 3:43Speaker 1: see silver, and you know that we've been reporting on
- 3:46Speaker 1: it probably for the last three months, as we started
- 3:48Speaker 1: to see the indicators that were signaling that silver could
- 3:51Speaker 1: see a breakout.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It hit at record high sixty.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Three, reaching three point five to nine trillion dollar market cap.
- 3:59Speaker 1: The metal is now up hundred fifty percent since early
- 4:02Speaker 1: twenty four and closing in on Alphabet's valuation, which is
- 4:08Speaker 1: crazy for this to be doing, because this is kind
- 4:11Speaker 1: of one of those boomer assets out there and it's
- 4:13Speaker 1: been in the market for a long time. Does it
- 4:15Speaker 1: finally get its legs under it like gold has, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: do we continue to see it because a lot of
- 4:21Speaker 1: central banks starting to collect gold, continuing to push into
- 4:25Speaker 1: these precious metals. Now the question yesterday that everybody asked,
- 4:29Speaker 1: is was the quarter basis point enough? Was it enough
- 4:34Speaker 1: to recorrect the market in the labor side of things.
- 4:37Speaker 1: It would not necessarily be the case if we're trying
- 4:40Speaker 1: to control inflation. Here is a clip that kind of
- 4:43Speaker 1: says maybe we should have got a fifty but not really.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Does that mean you'd like to see the Fed cut
- 4:50Speaker 4: interest rates even faster? You agree with the President and
- 4:53Speaker 4: Stephen Myron that they should have cut fifty basis points yesterday?
- 4:56Speaker 4: You know, I actually I keep looking at this as
- 5:00Speaker 4: why don't they? And the answer is Donald Trump. He's
- 5:04Speaker 4: the one who has caused so much chaos with the
- 5:07Speaker 4: tariffs that the FED has said we can't. In fact,
- 5:10Speaker 4: Jerome pal said in July they would have started cutting
- 5:14Speaker 4: interest rates substantially back in March. Only the presidents work
- 5:22Speaker 4: on the tariffs, and the kind of economic chaos he
- 5:27Speaker 4: was causing had caused them to delay and to delay
- 5:30Speaker 4: and to delay. And another way to understand that is
- 5:34Speaker 4: what the President's been doing on tariffs is not just
- 5:37Speaker 4: a tax in the sense of driving prices up. It's
- 5:40Speaker 4: a tax in the sense of keeping interest rates higher
- 5:44Speaker 4: than they otherwise would be. But of course that goes
- 5:47Speaker 4: to the other question you asked, and that is about
- 5:49Speaker 4: the independence of the FED that you rightly point out.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I have had no problem criticizing Jerome Powell when I
- 5:57Speaker 4: think he's wrong, and I thought he's been rawing a lot,
- 6:01Speaker 4: But I think it's important to have an independent FED,
- 6:06Speaker 4: and that's something that's shared on both sides of the Aisle.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Republicans and Democrats have said that.
- 6:13Speaker 1: All right, So of course that's Senator Warren talking about that.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Interestingly enough, the point that it is rolling into is inflation.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Her position is that being caused by Trump's administration and
- 6:24Speaker 1: their policy around tariffs. You look at what Nick Timro said,
- 6:28Speaker 1: who's one of the reporters there from Wall Street that
- 6:30Speaker 1: was in the meeting yesterday. Powell delivered appointed message to
- 6:34Speaker 1: Trump and his own successor, which is basically, low rates
- 6:39Speaker 1: isn't necessarily going to be as painless as you think.
- 6:41Speaker 1: The biggest issue in terms of this, in terms of
- 6:44Speaker 1: a path at least, is wait for evidence that inflation
- 6:47Speaker 1: is coming down, which will take a bit at minimum
- 6:50Speaker 1: if it does in fact coming down, which apparently this
- 6:52Speaker 1: FED believes that there is a direction that it could
- 6:55Speaker 1: be and then also arising evidence that the labor market
- 6:58Speaker 1: is falling very very ill. That's the concern that I
- 7:02Speaker 1: have is that I believe that the labor market is
- 7:05Speaker 1: already very ill, and that the continuation of these stalwarth
- 7:10Speaker 1: rates is putting more pressure on the labor market that
- 7:14Speaker 1: is unseen yet, meaning all of this is really doing
- 7:17Speaker 1: damage to the US businesses. Going over the next two quarters,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I think we will find out come end of Q
- 7:25Speaker 1: one that labor is in deep and dire straits and
- 7:29Speaker 1: that we again are behind the eight ball on being
- 7:32Speaker 1: able to control it. And that's when you get into
- 7:35Speaker 1: a free fall. A major chain and composition of who
- 7:38Speaker 1: sits around the fed's conference room table. That's the big deal,
- 7:41Speaker 1: and it's going to happen. We're going to see a
- 7:43Speaker 1: major change.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Now. Hasset's been the leader.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But though we have seen indicators that maybe Trump is
- 7:48Speaker 1: still shopping for a FED chair, it'll be interesting.
- 7:52Speaker 2: To see who the actual FED chair is going to be.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Here's Charlie Billelo.
- 7:56Speaker 1: He hits on a couple of points, and that is
- 7:57Speaker 1: Hong Kong's cutting six cut in this cycle.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Saudi Arabia cut. This is six cut in their cycle.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I wouldn't even compare Turkey because their interest rates are
- 8:07Speaker 1: so high. But the point being is that people are
- 8:09Speaker 1: cutting outside of Japan, and that I think is a
- 8:12Speaker 1: whole different angle. But the point is we are seeing
- 8:15Speaker 1: global macro economics play out. The FED is not playing
- 8:18Speaker 1: ball right now with what has been a little bit
- 8:21Speaker 1: of a tight rope going forward. I think it is
- 8:24Speaker 1: putting a lot of pressure on Bitcoin and digital assets
- 8:27Speaker 1: in general. The resemblance between bitcoin current cycle and the
- 8:30Speaker 1: last cycle kind of interesting here. If it plays out,
- 8:34Speaker 1: this could mean a pump to one hundred k and
- 8:36Speaker 1: then a dump around fifty or season around seventy. But
- 8:39Speaker 1: I hear analysts now saying that they could see a
- 8:42Speaker 1: forty thousand dollars bitcoin still, So is that going to
- 8:45Speaker 1: be the case with bitcoin?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Are we in that position right now?
- 8:49Speaker 1: Do you think this is similar to what we saw
- 8:51Speaker 1: in previous cycles? If so, let me know your thesis
- 8:54Speaker 1: down below. If you think this is the way you're
- 8:55Speaker 1: playing it. Are you waiting for an entry based on
- 8:59Speaker 1: a potential entry of QE, Well, some of that can happen.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Lyn Alden basically said this pal suggests twenty to twenty
- 9:07Speaker 1: five billion in the monthly balance sheet for expansion standard baseline,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but they're doing a forty billion currently to deal with
- 9:15Speaker 1: the liquidity issues. And this is an issue that we've
- 9:17Speaker 1: talked about here on this show over the past few weeks,
- 9:20Speaker 1: as there has been liquidity pains, but it's mostly been
- 9:24Speaker 1: dealing with massaging the data around enough expansion in the
- 9:28Speaker 1: balance sheet. It's not necessarily QE at full It's kind
- 9:32Speaker 1: of a trickle of QE that started to play into
- 9:36Speaker 1: this milk road has everyone's confused about whether the Fed's
- 9:39Speaker 1: forty billion purchase of treasury bills is que or not.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Technically it is, but extremely slow QE. To the point
- 9:47Speaker 1: that I'm getting at, When the FEDS buys t bills,
- 9:49Speaker 1: it adds short term liquidity into the system and acts
- 9:52Speaker 1: to slow QE.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So that is the point.
- 9:55Speaker 1: But real q is when they buy the treasury coupons instead,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and that's when I think you'd see the trigger start
- 10:01Speaker 1: to take forward where the market would respond. Maybe now
- 10:05Speaker 1: there are a lot of people out there that maybe
- 10:08Speaker 1: think this actually is the beginning.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Listen to this clip.
- 10:12Speaker 5: The narrative in real time, and I was kind of
- 10:14Speaker 5: following the coverage in real time was that this is,
- 10:16Speaker 5: you know, definitely good for stocks. Into your end, it
- 10:19Speaker 5: wasn't as hawkish as it could have been, and they're
- 10:22Speaker 5: buying treasury bills, so this was seen as generally positive
- 10:24Speaker 5: the stock market. The price action today has been a
- 10:27Speaker 5: bit more negative. Now. It could be just a little
- 10:29Speaker 5: bit more of you know, by the rumor sell the
- 10:31Speaker 5: fact event. But I think also people are realizing that,
- 10:35Speaker 5: you know what, we just don't have any certainty on
- 10:38Speaker 5: policy next year, and I think that's maybe kind of gone. Hey,
- 10:41Speaker 5: with no certainty, we're going to a lower liquidity time
- 10:44Speaker 5: of year.
- 10:45Speaker 2: It's been a great year.
- 10:46Speaker 5: Maybe it's just time to take some money off the table.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I think that explains some of the price action today.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Forty billion and this sounds awfully like que to me.
- 10:53Speaker 3: And the market reaction, the market function, sort of reaction
- 10:56Speaker 3: function over the last few years has been CQE equals
- 11:01Speaker 3: equidity by risk assets.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Isn't that?
- 11:04Speaker 3: Isn't that all you need to know coming out of yesterday.
- 11:07Speaker 5: I think you're a right guy in terms. That's the
- 11:09Speaker 5: most important takeaway from yesterday. And look, as we've talked
- 11:13Speaker 5: about a lot in the show, I think that stock
- 11:15Speaker 5: markets go a chunk higher again in twenty twenty six.
- 11:17Speaker 5: I think the backdrop is growth that's staying relatively resilient
- 11:21Speaker 5: and exceptionally supportive, central bank from the FED, We're getting
- 11:25Speaker 5: fiscal stimulus generally around the world, and you know, we've
- 11:28Speaker 5: got an administration that's trying to reduce asset prices, and
- 11:31Speaker 5: the AI bubble is still in the inflation stage. So
- 11:34Speaker 5: I think stock markets go a lot higher. I understand though,
- 11:37Speaker 5: why investors aren't playing that in the immediate basis, and
- 11:40Speaker 5: are a main in the camp that even though I'm
- 11:42Speaker 5: kind of structurally quite bullished next year, I think your
- 11:44Speaker 5: remains difficult this side of Christmas. I'm not bearish, but
- 11:48Speaker 5: I just don't think this is the time to get
- 11:49Speaker 5: on board the bullesh trade just yet.
- 11:52Speaker 1: All right, So you've got one angle of it around
- 11:56Speaker 1: this might be QEAN if you are going into that
- 11:59Speaker 1: like the NALYS, Yeah, you'd buy risk assets, all right.
- 12:02Speaker 1: So when you look at that clip, you kind of wonder,
- 12:04Speaker 1: all right, well, this might be QE and are these
- 12:07Speaker 1: the triggers that start making the market move well. Steve
- 12:10Speaker 1: Eisman has a different opinion on that. If you don't
- 12:13Speaker 1: know who David Eisman is basically one of the early
- 12:15Speaker 1: traders in the two thousand and eight debt crisis that
- 12:18Speaker 1: we saw with the savings alone and also forecasted that
- 12:21Speaker 1: similar to what was going on with Michael Burry. So
- 12:24Speaker 1: he's not necessarily a guy that hasn't been around the
- 12:26Speaker 1: block and understand this, But listen what he had to
- 12:28Speaker 1: say about the FED.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 12:30Speaker 6: The only time the Fed really matters is when it's
- 12:34Speaker 6: being very aggressive at cutting rates, are very aggressive at
- 12:37Speaker 6: raising rates. If it's just tinkering around the edges, which
- 12:40Speaker 6: is what it's clearly doing, it's irrelevant.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Well, Lastman made the argument this morning that what they're
- 12:46Speaker 1: doing with the balance sheet might be a little more.
- 12:48Speaker 6: Important on the margin, But you know, is what they're
- 12:53Speaker 6: doing right now going to make you buypalenteer or not buypalenteer.
- 12:56Speaker 6: It has no impact. Thing that is by far the
- 12:59Speaker 6: most important is the whole debate around AI.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Is it a bubble? Is it not a bubble?
- 13:04Speaker 6: I think the debate that's going on X right now
- 13:08Speaker 6: is actually much more important because it's much more foundational.
- 13:12Speaker 6: The large L models, as they keep scaling, which is
- 13:15Speaker 6: the model that everybody has, will start to lose their efficaciousness.
- 13:19Speaker 6: In other words, the improvement is going to will slow
- 13:23Speaker 6: as opposed to as opposed to increase. So then chat
- 13:26Speaker 6: GPT five comes out, and the immediate reaction by all
- 13:31Speaker 6: these people who know a hell of a lot more
- 13:33Speaker 6: than me is that the improvement in chat GPT five
- 13:36Speaker 6: is a hell of a lot less over four than
- 13:38Speaker 6: four was over three. Not my area of expertise, but
- 13:41Speaker 6: I can notice trends in argument, and then a lot
- 13:45Speaker 6: of other people are starting to say the same thing.
- 13:47Speaker 6: Now I'm not here to panic people, but if this argument,
- 13:52Speaker 6: the Gary Marcus argument, is right, you're going to start
- 13:56Speaker 6: to see more and more people start to say this,
- 13:59Speaker 6: and then at some point, you know, companies like Microsoft,
- 14:03Speaker 6: if this becomes true, they're going to start buying fewer chips.
- 14:07Speaker 6: It's like the foundational argument before the Great Financial Crisis,
- 14:11Speaker 6: where I eventually figured out that the entire mortgage fixed
- 14:15Speaker 6: income market rest had rested on one assumption, which was
- 14:21Speaker 6: housing prices can't go down, and once that assumption that
- 14:25Speaker 6: pulled out, the whole edifice collapsed.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Do people have any idea what they are buying?
- 14:33Speaker 5: Hey, there's a bubble, how do you know? Mark? You sure, Yeah,
- 14:39Speaker 5: it's time to call bullshit bullshit on what.
- 14:42Speaker 1: All Right, So that was a big short clip there
- 14:45Speaker 1: just kind of give you a framework. But I don't
- 14:47Speaker 1: necessarily agree with Eiaman. And there's a couple of things
- 14:50Speaker 1: that play into this on the tech side of things,
- 14:53Speaker 1: and that is this. First of all, the open Ai
- 14:56Speaker 1: argument is that they haven't been doing marked improvement.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Granted would agree that.
- 15:00Speaker 1: That has not happened, but I would say this that
- 15:02Speaker 1: right now OPAI might actually have the worst business case model.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And what I'm getting at is there's a lot of
- 15:09Speaker 1: large lms out there, and there's going to be some
- 15:12Speaker 1: winners and some lutions. I think that maybe Open Eye
- 15:14Speaker 1: might actually fall on the sword because they were the
- 15:17Speaker 1: early mover that started the progress. The advancements that we've
- 15:20Speaker 1: seen obviously with Alphabet and Gemini, that's the ones to watch.
- 15:24Speaker 1: You're also watching what's going on with Claude Perplexity obviously Anthropic.
- 15:29Speaker 1: All of that starts to change things dramatically. The other
- 15:32Speaker 1: thing that he said that again I would disagree because
- 15:35Speaker 1: there this can happen on X, which is an unusual
- 15:39Speaker 1: phenomenon that's happening right now in crypto investing and in
- 15:42Speaker 1: investing in general, and that is that you can manifest
- 15:45Speaker 1: something into being.
- 15:48Speaker 2: The reality of.
- 15:49Speaker 1: That is different because if this were in the era
- 15:53Speaker 1: of the birth of the Internet, I don't think you
- 15:54Speaker 1: could have manifested what happened back then. It was real
- 15:58Speaker 1: use case scenarios that were playing out, and I think
- 16:00Speaker 1: that's where we are right now. So I'm on the
- 16:03Speaker 1: other side of that trade in the sense that I
- 16:04Speaker 1: think AI is way underserved in the sense that the
- 16:08Speaker 1: scale in which we're going to see it grow is
- 16:11Speaker 1: not going to slow. It's going to increase, but there
- 16:14Speaker 1: will be losers, and I think the loser right now
- 16:16Speaker 1: is going to be Open AI of that group that
- 16:19Speaker 1: comes out, and we may have another LM that comes
- 16:21Speaker 1: to the game late that could be the barn burner
- 16:25Speaker 1: of all of them. We still don't know, and it's
- 16:27Speaker 1: possibly going to be an LLM that's created by another AI.
- 16:30Speaker 1: So I'm on the opposite side of that. I think
- 16:33Speaker 1: the trade is still in play. Again, not financial advice,
- 16:36Speaker 1: but I look at it from a technologist position. I
- 16:38Speaker 1: just don't think this is the same thing as a
- 16:41Speaker 1: housing bubble. This is innovation at scale, and it's innovation
- 16:46Speaker 1: that is going to affect the global economy, not just
- 16:49Speaker 1: the United States, which is what happened in two thousand
- 16:51Speaker 1: and eight. Enough of that, here's a word from our sponsor, Meveloxi.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I've already talked about this platform before. It's not your
- 16:59Speaker 1: ordinary state platform. It's a project that uses a network
- 17:03Speaker 1: of v bots to generate profit, something that was previously
- 17:07Speaker 1: only available to big players. You guys, of course, can
- 17:10Speaker 1: visit their website just over on meveloxi dot com learn
- 17:13Speaker 1: a little bit more about what they're doing, and I
- 17:17Speaker 1: think when you compare staking versus mesteak, you might get
- 17:20Speaker 1: an idea of how valuable this could become. To put
- 17:23Speaker 1: it simply, users deposit funds into liquidity pools managed by
- 17:28Speaker 1: mv bots. These bots perform blockchain operations, particularly sandwich strategies,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and earn from blockchain network inefficiency. That's why the system
- 17:38Speaker 1: continues to perform steadily through even market downturns. They've also
- 17:43Speaker 1: launched a recent app which you can kind of see
- 17:46Speaker 1: here on their website. Their developers are out there taking questions,
- 17:50Speaker 1: which is great. I love to see that in terms
- 17:53Speaker 1: of interaction from a project like this, and when you
- 17:57Speaker 1: compare what they're doing there, along with the fact that
- 18:01Speaker 1: they've got this new app out there. Just search MeV
- 18:04Speaker 1: stats over in the Apple Phone Store and of course
- 18:07Speaker 1: you guys can learn a little bit.
- 18:08Speaker 2: More about that.
- 18:09Speaker 1: They also have an Android app to getting Ready to drop,
- 18:11Speaker 1: so that's.
- 18:12Speaker 2: A pretty big deal.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I think these are the things you have to have
- 18:15Speaker 1: when you have projects like this. Don't forget Also, this
- 18:19Speaker 1: brand and project is getting a lot of press as well.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Obviously they were at Token twenty forty nine you probably
- 18:25Speaker 1: saw a little bit of what they were doing over there.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Of Course, they've started to make some of their lines
- 18:30Speaker 1: into other components out there, and of course that means
- 18:34Speaker 1: places like Investing dot com and others that have started
- 18:36Speaker 1: to cover this platform. So that's a good thing. I
- 18:40Speaker 1: think the scenario that plays out in this is where
- 18:43Speaker 1: and what are you guys going to do during these
- 18:46Speaker 1: cycle upturns and downturns. Make sure and visit meveloxi dot com.
- 18:52Speaker 1: You can of course use our link down in the description.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Make sure and use that one because it's a pretty
- 18:57Speaker 1: key link and you get a discount and a bonus
- 19:01Speaker 1: when you use it. Speaking of manifestation, you have to
- 19:04Speaker 1: think about this right here, and that is eth versus Bitcoin. Now,
- 19:07Speaker 1: many people would say, well, that's really just an eth
- 19:10Speaker 1: doing e things. I think what we're dealing with is
- 19:13Speaker 1: a little bit deeper than that with ethereum. And really
- 19:16Speaker 1: when you look at the rally potential of where ETH
- 19:19Speaker 1: is right now, and that's the camp I'm falling in
- 19:22Speaker 1: mainly because I think Tom Lee is winning the war
- 19:26Speaker 1: on crypto investors and possibly new investors coming in through
- 19:30Speaker 1: the dat the asset treasury companies, And that's I think
- 19:34Speaker 1: the big one. Nine out of ten of every dollars
- 19:36Speaker 1: of crypto lending right now is generated on ethereum L
- 19:39Speaker 1: Two's that's another narrative that Tom Lee gets to spout
- 19:43Speaker 1: out there to help drive more interest in ETH. So
- 19:46Speaker 1: when you look at everything that Tom's been talking about
- 19:49Speaker 1: and where he thinks this is going to be going,
- 19:52Speaker 1: you kind of have to look back at what his
- 19:55Speaker 1: you know, dog in the hunt is, which is BM
- 19:57Speaker 1: and r BM and R the Digital Asset Treasury. Sure
- 19:59Speaker 1: they a lot of lines in the water in terms
- 20:01Speaker 1: of revenue. They could be one of the winners out
- 20:03Speaker 1: of this is the next micro strategy. Yes, so watch
- 20:06Speaker 1: eath very closely in this period of time, could see
- 20:09Speaker 1: some surprises coming out. The other one to keep an
- 20:12Speaker 1: eye on, of course, is Solana just in as you
- 20:14Speaker 1: guys know, they're doing break points, so this was a
- 20:16Speaker 1: big announcement. Solana has now made it where all coin
- 20:20Speaker 1: base users can trade Solana tokens through a dex without
- 20:23Speaker 1: official listing. So that's a big deal in terms of question,
- 20:26Speaker 1: is is it better for Solana or is it better
- 20:28Speaker 1: for Coinbase.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I don't know. You let me know down below.
- 20:31Speaker 1: You think that's the case if you look at what's
- 20:33Speaker 1: happening over on Breakpoint. We're going to do a full
- 20:35Speaker 1: breakdown of this video, by the way, a full breakdown
- 20:38Speaker 1: on Breakpoint. But they had a lot of announcements. You know,
- 20:41Speaker 1: obviously State Street, you know, has jumped in. They're jumping
- 20:45Speaker 1: in with it with Galaxy. You've got soul Flower now
- 20:48Speaker 1: shipping begins this week. What else did they have. They
- 20:52Speaker 1: had Jupiter announcing the Jupiter len product, even though after
- 20:56Speaker 1: a little bit of problems with Jupiter or Jupiter also
- 20:59Speaker 1: launched Verified with is a new verification layer. They had
- 21:03Speaker 1: the rain Finance thing come through. We'll get into all
- 21:06Speaker 1: of that, but the point is this Breakpoint is used
- 21:09Speaker 1: exactly or it's always been used, and that is, let's
- 21:12Speaker 1: go out promo headliners, get everybody excited about Solona and
- 21:17Speaker 1: get that manifestation going for Solana because right now Eth
- 21:21Speaker 1: has been sucking the wind out of the market.
- 21:24Speaker 2: For sure.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Polymarket is another one that's trying to do this, and
- 21:28Speaker 1: that is Polymarket now is making it available to where you.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Can bet against positions.
- 21:33Speaker 1: We have an argument on that here on the research
- 21:35Speaker 1: team whether this is good or bad. Is it just
- 21:37Speaker 1: a gambler betting against a gambling move or is it
- 21:41Speaker 1: a gambler who now has an out.
- 21:43Speaker 2: This is an interesting theory.
- 21:45Speaker 1: You've made a bet, you realize you're going to lose that,
- 21:48Speaker 1: but you'd be able to borrow against that and leverage
- 21:51Speaker 1: into some costs to be able to regain some of
- 21:54Speaker 1: that loss. You've never had that opportunity before.
- 21:57Speaker 2: You lose a bet, you lose a bet.
- 21:58Speaker 1: You're done, You've lost all of that. Maybe this is
- 22:00Speaker 1: an interesting play because it's powered by Morpho. So I'm
- 22:05Speaker 1: intrigued with this one because it could open up some
- 22:07Speaker 1: very interesting situations in the future.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Here's Matt Hogan.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Though we got some issues brewing in DC and it's
- 22:15Speaker 1: wild to see politician explicitly talk about protecting banks by
- 22:20Speaker 1: preventing ordinary people from earning interest. This is a thing
- 22:23Speaker 1: that we are seeing more and more. Obviously is all
- 22:26Speaker 1: being led by the banking gops that we've talked about
- 22:29Speaker 1: around the market structure bill and what this is going
- 22:32Speaker 1: to look like, all sorts of markups on this Today
- 22:34Speaker 1: we're going to do a full breakdown on that video
- 22:36Speaker 1: as well for you guys around what's happening in DC
- 22:39Speaker 1: around the market structure. And I agree with Matt one
- 22:41Speaker 1: hundred percent. Banning stable coins from paying interest is like
- 22:45Speaker 1: banning cars from going faster than horses. This is crazy
- 22:50Speaker 1: how much this could impact the crypto market. And one
- 22:54Speaker 1: of the big platforms that it could impact the most
- 22:56Speaker 1: is going to be platforms like hyper liquid, and this
- 22:59Speaker 1: could dip down to two twenty three bucks, especially around
- 23:02Speaker 1: the staking situation that we're dealing with right now. One
- 23:06Speaker 1: of the worst performers among the top twenty cryptos that
- 23:09Speaker 1: one's done with further rate cuts now off the table,
- 23:12Speaker 1: which is going to be the likelihood attention will turn
- 23:15Speaker 1: to liquidity and the Fed's balance sheet policy in twenty six.
- 23:18Speaker 1: This is also going to be a problem if we
- 23:20Speaker 1: see more pressure coming in from the Clarity Act not
- 23:24Speaker 1: being favorable, because this could hurt a lot of these
- 23:27Speaker 1: deckses in DeFi platforms out there going forward. So this
- 23:32Speaker 1: is another one, guys, I anticipate we're going to see
- 23:34Speaker 1: a lot of people in the crypto industry getting on
- 23:36Speaker 1: their private jets and flying to DC right now to
- 23:39Speaker 1: deal with what's going on in Congress as we near
- 23:42Speaker 1: years end and no Clarity Act is in play. Think
- 23:46Speaker 1: about that, because this was promised by Trump to get
- 23:49Speaker 1: done by August is a big miss on the administration
- 23:53Speaker 1: for sure. All Right, you guys know what to do.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Make sure and jump in on the bar and market edge.
- 23:57Speaker 1: That's our own private group. It's very easy to point well,
- 24:00Speaker 1: always leave a linked down below, follow me on x
