- 0:02money to spend. Why not put it in one of the top
- 0:06three offensive players in the league?
- 0:15We're going to be looking at Aaron Judge and saying that he

- 2:18Anyways, ladies and gentlemen, we've been we, we've been going
- 2:21over the AFC and NFC. Tonight we're going to go fully
- 2:24through the NFC preview. Oh, we ready.
- 2:28I love Lisa Ann. I think she is.
- 2:31She's definitely ready for this, ladies and gentlemen.
- 2:34Actually, I checked out Lisa Ann's podcast.
- 2:37It's actually pretty good. She knows her stuff.
- 2:38I got to give her a little credit credit.
- 2:41I would imagine she knows a lot. Sits on the sitter Droba fast
- 2:46liquor. All right.
- 2:47Here, this is what I'm going to do.
- 2:48I'm going to read off to you Fanduel's betting odds for the
- 2:52division. So we already did the NFC West.
- 2:54Errol, you said that the 49ers were going to come in last.
- 2:58They're technically the favorites to win the division at
- 3:01plus 140. In second place was your
- 3:04favorite, the Los Angeles Rams at plus 210, followed by the
- 3:07Arizona Cardinals at +400, the Seattle Seahawks.
- 3:10So I like this year a little bit at plus 550.
- 3:14So let's talk about the next division on here, which is the
- 3:18NFC South. So as we go through, I'm going
- 3:20to tell you the odds. I want you to tell me if you
- 3:23agree or disagree and then talk about the team that you want to
- 3:27talk about in this group. Starting off, who do you think
- 3:29the favorite is in the NFC South?
- 3:31Bucks, Falcons, Saints, Panthers in the South.
- 3:34Oh, it's the Bucks, absolutely. Baker Mayfield, the team that
- 3:37they have Mike Evans, they're going to get healthy.
- 3:40They got one of the best running games in on all of football in
- 3:43Irving. I I think their offensive line,
- 3:45if they stay healthy, it's a pretty good offensive line.
- 3:47They have one of the best offensive tackles, left tackles
- 3:50in all the football and I think they're going to be able to play
- 3:52defense. They're very good defensively
- 3:55sound. I Todd Bowles is the defensive
- 3:57minded coach. I love the bucks winning this
- 4:00division at least by two games. They're the best team in this
- 4:02division. Yeah, They have to be thought of
- 4:03as the favorites and did some improvements on defense.
- 4:06I like their draft. I like some of their offseason.
- 4:07So it was still a lot of questions with a young
- 4:09quarterback with Atlanta right now.
- 4:11And we were talking about the injury with Caleb McGarry to
- 4:13like will their offensive line. Maybe they'll hold up.
- 4:15They're going to be good, but I think the Bucks still have to be
- 4:17the favorite. Yeah, I mean, they're obviously
- 4:22when you're GM's from Nebraska, you have to root for the buff.
- 4:24You know he's one of the. Better ones.
- 4:27Who would you guys go with right now for my next quarterback
- 4:29because everybody's gone Caleb Williams OR?
- 4:33Caleb Williams. Yeah, I'll go to Caleb Williams,
- 4:35too. I gotta go.
- 4:37I'm gonna go Caleb. Williams I think Caleb is gonna
- 4:39have a good season. So do I, and we'll talk about
- 4:41him in the next edition. But a lot of people are high in
- 4:45Egbuka, the rookie from Ohio State this year with Godwin on
- 4:49the mend from the the injury last year coming back.
- 4:52So it should be interesting. Mcmillan's out on the IR as
- 4:55well, so Ibuka should get a lot of action.
- 4:57Here is nothing. Here with a 14 team league guys,
- 5:00we're in the 11th round. There's nothing.
- 5:02I was just going to stay. Is there anybody?
- 5:04Left. You've got it here.
- 5:05I'll give you a name. There's a running back in the
- 5:07backup for the Dolphins named Ollie Gordon that might get a
- 5:11lot of run this year and he's probably going to go around that
- 5:13time where you are in the draft. How about marks now?
- 5:17You have to do a few. Namesake you should take the guy
- 5:19named Woody. You should take that guy, but I
- 5:21think I. The name Woody Gordon.
- 5:25USC now the Panthers in Saints, no ones really thinking too
- 5:30highly of. I'm not going to talk too much
- 5:32about them. Obviously the Saints we
- 5:33mentioned with Spencer Rattler being QB one, they're plus 1400.
- 5:37So when the division people are looking at them as a top three
- 5:40pick in the draft next year and the Panthers are actually a +
- 5:43440, which is a little bit better than I expected for them,
- 5:47I don't know. There's some people really high
- 5:48on Bryce Young because of how he finished the season last year,
- 5:51but I need to see more guys. I don't know if I trust that.
- 5:54Bryce Young was definitely improved.
- 5:56He was, I think the PFF ranked 8th best quarterback in the
- 5:59second-half of the season after he returned from the being
- 6:02benched. Obviously Ted McMillan,
- 6:04obviously they drafted Errol, just dropped it on his fantasy
- 6:06team. I like him a lot.
- 6:07The upside that he could bring, it's just the defense with the
- 6:09Panthers is so far from being anything special.
- 6:11They got Derrick Brown who's great, JC Horns great, and they
- 6:14don't have much else besides that.
- 6:15They're probably like a six or seven win team at best I would
- 6:18say. Yeah, they're going to.
- 6:20They're going to score points, but they're going to give up a.
- 6:22Lot are we talking about? Carolina.
- 6:25Just quickly talking about the teams that aren't going to be
- 6:27factors before. We get back OK, They're going to
- 6:31be absolutely horrible. Mcmillan's going to be good.
- 6:33I think he's going to be explosive.
- 6:35He might win offensive rookie of the year.
- 6:36He might be very much might. Bryce Young has to stay healthy
- 6:40and with a new coaching staff again, they're going to have to
- 6:43well, Canalis is there for his second year.
- 6:45I with the coaching staff there, I think they they're going to
- 6:48have to figure out what their running game is first.
- 6:51Because they have no running game, they become
- 6:52one-dimensional. And if they're one-dimensional,
- 6:54teams are going to figure them. Out.
- 6:55I think people are saying like Hubbard's going to get his
- 6:57carries, he didn't see him because they like him, but they
- 6:59don't like him. That I was thinking Jacksonville
- 7:01before. Before that, No, they have the
- 7:04other. Let's talk about the Falcons.
- 7:06We need to talk about them because they're the ones that
- 7:08are going to contend with the Bucks in this division.
- 7:11The Falcons are starting Michael Penning over Kirk Cousins, the
- 7:14most expensive backup quarterback.
- 7:16I don't know ever, Speedy. It might be ever.
- 7:18I don't know, Sam. Bradford might have had one
- 7:20year, but yeah, probably Cousins has to take the.
- 7:22Case but impressive young defense.
- 7:25Some good players at key positions and then on offense,
- 7:29we know that they're littered with skill positions.
- 7:31Bijan Robinson, one of the top running backs in all football.
- 7:34We've got Drake London, who's I would say underrated.
- 7:37All right. Pretty good, man.
- 7:38I got to go over this. OK, Dowdell is still available
- 7:42right now, the Carolina running back.
- 7:43That's right. So he's the one that's going to
- 7:45eat the carries into Hubbard is Dowdell.
- 7:46So I don't know how to even look at that running back situation.
- 7:49I would probably. Quorum.
- 7:50Should I go with quorum? I like him.
- 7:53They said that they're going to give him a lot more run this
- 7:55year and Karen Williams numbers kind of tailed off.
- 7:57Hunter or do we go wide receiver?
- 8:00Travis Hunter, you taking? Tillman, Tillman still
- 8:02available. Palmer, Robertson, Coker.
- 8:06There's really nothing. Don't take anyone that feeling
- 8:09Joe Flacco has to throw to my God.
- 8:12Where do I go running back? What do What would you go
- 8:13running back? Quorum.
- 8:14Quorum is probably the best one there.
- 8:16I would say quorum because I think he's going to get a lot
- 8:19more it's. Probably this 14 team league is.
- 8:22Just Michigan champions, you know, just.
- 8:25Horrible. I don't like.
- 8:26It 14's tough. So so Falcons Errol, tell me,
- 8:32are they going to have a chance against this Buccaneers team or
- 8:35are they a wild card team possibly?
- 8:37I like Michael Pennix. I do.
- 8:39I think Michael Pennix is is going to be explosive this year.
- 8:41We're going to see if he could stay healthy.
- 8:43They still have another quarterback there that I really,
- 8:45really like. Had a bad season last year.
- 8:48But he's a veteran quarterback that is definitely might get a
- 8:51chance if Michael Pennix goes down.
- 8:52And remember, he's coming back from a really bad injury.
- 8:55And we'll see if Michael Pennix could play a full season in the
- 8:58NFL. But they're explosive.
- 9:00They have Bichon Robinson. He's one of the most explosive
- 9:02players in the league. They got they got a great wide
- 9:05receiver. I want to see Kyle Pitts this
- 9:07year really break out. I think we're going to see a lot
- 9:10more Kyle Pitts this year. In a way, they're going to use
- 9:12him, especially in the open field.
- 9:14So I, I think Atlanta might be the second best team in this
- 9:17division. They're going to have to play
- 9:20they and they drafted 2 first round defensive players.
- 9:23We'll see if this defense is as explosive.
- 9:25Remember, they give up a lot to move up in the first round to
- 9:28get those defensive players. So I'm interested to see what
- 9:31this defense is. It's a guy that doesn't know how
- 9:35I, I feel. And, and I, and I'll speak very
- 9:38highly of this coach because he, he, he's part of the Hofstra
- 9:41family. This is a guy that just falls
- 9:44flat on his face every time he gets a coaching job.
- 9:47He's a good, I'll say this, he's a good coordinator.
- 9:50He's not a good coach. So I I, he he won the job over
- 9:53Bill Belichick Made no sense. Do you like them opening up with
- 9:57the Bucks though the Falcons? No.
- 10:00Like an early test or like do do you think it's too early to
- 10:03beat? Him twice.
- 10:04Last year, but still it's not an ideal circumstance the.
- 10:07Books were aren't they were not healthy last year.
- 10:09I think they're a lot more healthier this year than they
- 10:12were last year. So they still have Godwin who's
- 10:14going to be out for a significant at least three
- 10:17games, could be 4. So but they're still explosive
- 10:21and Mike Evans is going to have a great year.
- 10:22I I still think Mike Evans is going to have a great.
- 10:24Year So yeah, the talent is definitely there for the
- 10:27Falcons. They've done well accumulating.
- 10:28I know a lot of our draft panelists were saying that that
- 10:31when you look at Terry Fontenot, he's a weird track record as GM,
- 10:34but I think he's got a lot of good defensive value.
- 10:36But he what they really needed was the edge rushers.
- 10:38And this is a team that's had trouble drafting them for a long
- 10:40time. And now you got the two of them
- 10:42with with James Pierce and with Jalen Walker and makes with some
- 10:45good corners and linebacker play and obviously Jesse Bates
- 10:48already being there. This defense should be better.
- 10:49The offense is filled with freak athletes.
- 10:51Do they have depth, though? Will be the question to make the
- 10:53next step. They're like a fringe wild card
- 10:54team. They're not beating the Bucks,
- 10:55though. All right, so that's the NFC
- 11:02South. Let's get into the North.
- 11:04Is best, all right, Best division in football?
- 11:06Best. Division in football Best
- 11:07division in football, especially now that Micah Parsons is there.
- 11:11Errol. The current odds have the
- 11:13Packers above the Lions at plus 170 to win the division.
- 11:19The Lions at plus 185. I don't know what the line was
- 11:22before the trade, but I would imagine they were behind them
- 11:26before the trade. I had the Packers winning the
- 11:28division even without Micah Parsons.
- 11:31I think the Packers are built very, very well.
- 11:34I like Matthew Golden. I think he could another guy
- 11:36that could be offensive rookie of the year.
- 11:38We'll see how it works reads there they have a ton of talent.
- 11:42Watson's there they've they could spread off if they have
- 11:45one of the best running games and Jacobs.
- 11:47I I think love is one of the more underrated quarterbacks in
- 11:49the league. The offensive line is good
- 11:52craft. We talked about Tucker craft
- 11:54he's one of the most underrated tight ends in football.
- 11:57I think they're explosive in this defense now with Michael
- 11:59Parsons even better. I I don't think there's anything
- 12:02bad about this team. The question is are they going
- 12:05to put everything together? This is something they've had
- 12:07problems with in second-half of the season and going into the
- 12:09playoffs. But I love this team.
- 12:12This is this is a team that I had winning the division.
- 12:15So yes, I absolutely agree with Micah Parsons.
- 12:19It makes him even better. Even without him, they win the
- 12:21division. Yeah, the question will be with
- 12:23the Packers, I think is mainly with the offensive line staying
- 12:25healthy. They do have a pretty good line
- 12:27when they are healthy, but both of their two best guys, Elton
- 12:30Jenkins, also Zach, Tom, they just give the contract to have
- 12:32had issues with injuries. And I wasn't crazy about the
- 12:35draft picks that they had this year with the offensive line.
- 12:37But everything else is pretty much set with their offense.
- 12:39You mentioned Craft had a great year kind of up until the last
- 12:41month of the season, a lot of receiving depth now and a
- 12:44defense that solved their biggest issue, which was the
- 12:46edge rushing because Sean Gary Kiss can't stay healthy Corners.
- 12:49That's a little bit of a question, but they could trade
- 12:51for a veteran corner at the deadline.
- 12:52I guess not really hard to do they become available.
- 12:54This I agree with you. I think they definitely win the
- 12:56division with Detroit kind of going through a coaching
- 12:58transition. Right.
- 12:59That's the only reason why I just don't trust the coaching
- 13:01staff right now with the Detroit Lions.
- 13:03They're good. The coaching staff is going to
- 13:06hurt. Them, I think they're very 2023
- 13:08Eagles. Like they have a lot of talent,
- 13:09but two new coordinators all at once.
- 13:11I think they're still screaming like a wild card team right now.
- 13:14And the Packers obviously making a big move for Parsons, I think.
- 13:17By the way, I hate whoever set up this league during my show.
- 13:21I hate it. I hate doing this during.
- 13:23I hate watching football games during the show and I hate it on
- 13:26autodrive. I know.
- 13:27Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?
- 13:29I got. These last round picks, you
- 13:31don't know these who these guys are.
- 13:33Listen, buddy. I got, I got a rock'n'roll baby.
- 13:36I'm all about it. I'm all about it.
- 13:38I'm all about winning. In a in a So in a 14 team
- 13:41league, how many rounds are you doing?
- 13:43There is, I think there's. Like 16 or 16, right?
- 13:47There's 16. Yeah, 16 rounds.
- 13:49Let's say if it's more than that, you're going to be
- 13:51grabbing the freaking grounds crew, guys.
- 13:53Yeah, you know the Lions coaching staff.
- 13:56Let me read it off to you. So Dan Campbell's still there,
- 13:59obviously. So who's the left?
- 14:01Before you read this fish, who's the leftover from last year?
- 14:08I don't know. Was was David Shaw there
- 14:09previously? I don't know.
- 14:12I don't know who it is. I know John Morton.
- 14:14I think Kelvin Shepard got moved up.
- 14:16I think he was there and they moved him up.
- 14:18So he's defensive coordinator. He's a former giant, isn't he?
- 14:21A. Year or two they.
- 14:23Signed linebacker. For the Dolphins, yeah.
- 14:26Yeah, So my worry about I, I, I'm not sure about the coaching.
- 14:30I, I, it can go either way in my opinion.
- 14:32I, I'm not sure. I would assume Campbell hired
- 14:34good people because I think he's a good, smart leader and he
- 14:37would only take guys that he trusted.
- 14:38So we'll see. But the Packers read is hurt.
- 14:43Watson's on the IR still, right? That's their two second and
- 14:46third receivers. They're hurt and Gary's always
- 14:50hurt. Love had this elbow thing last
- 14:52year. He missed some time in camp as
- 14:54well. If he can stay healthy and those
- 14:57guys can have at least 60% or better injury luck, I think they
- 15:01take it this year. I agree with you boys.
- 15:03Let's get to the rest of that division because one of your
- 15:06favorite players, Errol, is sitting in dead last year, Caleb
- 15:09Williams at +600. The Vikings are sitting there in
- 15:12the middle at plus 3:50 with JJ McCarthy.
- 15:17I, I, I think JJ McCarthy is going to have a good year.
- 15:20I, I obviously know what Caleb Williams is going to do.
- 15:23I think Kayla Williams is sensational.
- 15:24By the way, I'm picking who do I go defense?
- 15:26Minnesota, Kansas City, Detroit, Los Angeles, Houston, Buffalo
- 15:30Jets, Houston. Buffalo, Buffalo or Houston,
- 15:34those are the two best. You don't like Minnesota, huh?
- 15:38I'm going to. Go I'm going to go Buffalo too,
- 15:40because. Look at the division we're
- 15:42talking about that Minnesota's in.
- 15:43They got to play these teams 6 times.
- 15:47That's a problem. I'm going to go Buffalo.
- 15:48I think you're absolutely right because I got to draft the
- 15:51defense. I don't have any defense, baby,
- 15:54going back to I think Caleb Williams is going to have a good
- 15:56Yeah, I think Chicago. I think there could be 3 teams
- 15:59coming out of this division to go to the playoffs.
- 16:02Chicago, Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit.
- 16:05I think this is like I said, this is the best, best division
- 16:09in football and I think Caleb Williams is going to have a
- 16:11great year. I reset it.
- 16:12I I think he's going to be explosive.
- 16:14Ben Johnson, new coach, weapons all over the field, offensive
- 16:18line, reconstructed offensive line and a good defense.
- 16:22I like him. I like Chicago and Minnesota.
- 16:25We all know O'connell's a very good coach.
- 16:26I think he's very well respected in the league.
- 16:28I think McCarthy is going to have a good year as a rookie
- 16:31quarterback. And yes, they have Justin
- 16:33Jefferson and Addison will be back in week three-week 4.
- 16:36This is explosive and they had a good running game.
- 16:38Mason, they've got Aaron Jones. You give it to they, I think
- 16:42it'll be 3 teams coming out of the division.
- 16:44I I could see any one of these three teams coming out of the
- 16:47division. Yeah, Chicago I think is
- 16:49definitely one that take a big leap.
- 16:50You saw their defense really play well at points in the
- 16:53second-half of the season, even though their offense did
- 16:55struggle and they again, they struggled late in game, but they
- 16:57still lost a lot of close games. Obviously there was a whole ever
- 16:59flew stabacco, all this stuff like that.
- 17:01But Ben Johnson, I think he's really much more authoritative.
- 17:03He was even saying during the preseason when they were playing
- 17:05well, this offense isn't good enough.
- 17:07Like he's going to take command of this offense for sure.
- 17:09Their offensive line, if they stay healthy, it's going to be a
- 17:11big difference defense. They need probably another more
- 17:13edge rusher, but they're they're loaded everywhere.
- 17:15Else Palmer or Bryant? Pat Bryant.
- 17:19That's your That's Lance Anderson's boy, Pat Bryant.
- 17:22Should I go Pat Bryant over Palmer I?
- 17:25Will, I don't know if Palmer's getting a lot of targets.
- 17:27So I would say Bryant gets more targets.
- 17:29All right, let's go with Bryant, baby.
- 17:31Let's get it. Let's get it.
- 17:33Give this grade. Eat that right, Jabba.
- 17:39Yeah, it's all of it, the whole thing.
- 17:44I trust Ben Johnson, too. I don't know if I trust JJ
- 17:47McCarthy. Obviously, Justin.
- 17:49Jefferson. Best best receiver in football
- 17:52is an easy guy to throw to. Jordan Addison coming back is
- 17:54also no slaps. So I agree with you.
- 17:56Ben Johnson is might be the next like big time coach that's going
- 18:00to emerge from coordinator position.
- 18:02All right, let's get to everyone's favorite division,
- 18:04the NFC East. So of course, with the longest
- 18:09odds to win any division in all of the NFL are the New York
- 18:13Football Giants with a + 1600 to win the NFC East.
- 18:19Let's face it, the Giants are not winning the NFC East this
- 18:23year. The Eagles are unbelievable
- 18:25again. They're sitting there at -145 to
- 18:29win the division. Now here's my argument.
- 18:33The Cowboys are only plus 750. I think the Giants are going to
- 18:37finish ahead of the Cowboys, especially now and what the good
- 18:41things I've heard at Giants camp.
- 18:43Jackson Dart looks like he'll probably be playing by middle of
- 18:46the season. I would guess because they have
- 18:48a tough schedule. I want to see that The line is a
- 18:51lot better. Although Evan Neil did not win
- 18:54the guard spot out of camp, he is a backup to Long Island
- 18:57Rockville Centre's very own Greg Van Roden.
- 19:00Once again. But they've got a hole you.
- 19:05Knew this was coming. When we were going to cover the
- 19:07he was waiting. You knew it was coming.
- 19:10You got the AFC tomorrow. You could do this with The Jets
- 19:13tomorrow. I'm.
- 19:13Waiting for. This give me a minute.
- 19:15This is a do my team. I'm going to.
- 19:17Suck and so are your team. So is your team.
- 19:20I don't think the Giants are going to suck.
- 19:22I just think they're not going to be very good.
- 19:24It's different than sucking. My rear end is burning.
- 19:30I don't think they have a winning record, but I think
- 19:32they're going to play a lot better than they played in
- 19:34recent years. But the Cowboys plus 750, they
- 19:38don't think they have a shot in hell at winning this division
- 19:41either, boys. Well, the Cowboys are not going
- 19:44to be there right away because they have a lot of rookies in
- 19:46transition. But like I was saying, like
- 19:47their offense will still be good enough to keep them in certain
- 19:50games like the NFC East schedule.
- 19:52I would say this year you got the you're at the NFC North and
- 19:55then you got the AFC West. You're going to have a lot of
- 19:57tough A. Lot of scoring, yeah.
- 19:59So they're going to have to win with a lot of scoring if they're
- 20:02going to have any shot at that. And that's the only chance I
- 20:04think they really have. I think they're kind of a six
- 20:06win team right now. But I think the Giants are kind
- 20:08of in the same boat. I think the Giants have the
- 20:09defense, not the offense right there right away.
- 20:11Because even if Jackson Dart does have the upside later in
- 20:13the season, like you're still trusting really two guys on
- 20:15offense to really do anything. The Cowboys have it on the
- 20:18offensive side and they're trusting a bunch of guys on the
- 20:20defense. The Giants are probably still
- 20:22the worst team in the division. I want to see obviously Jackson
- 20:25Dart. I think he's going to be
- 20:26explosive and fun to watch when he does eventually get a chance
- 20:29to play. I to me, the Cowboys are going
- 20:32to be offensively sound. I think they have the weapons
- 20:35around Dak Press got to put up numbers.
- 20:37They just don't have a defense. You're going to see games where
- 20:40it's going to be like 60 to like 45 or something.
- 20:44It's going to be really, really bad.
- 20:46It's going to be an all out offensive game with the Cowboys
- 20:49and they're going to hope they can keep up with the teams that
- 20:52can play defense. The Philadelphia Eagles are the
- 20:54best team. Washington Commanders are the
- 20:56second best team. Both teams should make the
- 20:58playoffs. Unless Jaden Daniels falls off
- 21:01the rocker in his sophomore year.
- 21:02I don't see it. I think Jaden Daniels has more
- 21:05weapons last year than he ever had.
- 21:07Samuels there now Terry Mclaurins happy they got a great
- 21:10running game. I don't think there's anything
- 21:12scary about these two teams. The two teams on the bottom feed
- 21:17when it comes to the Cowboys and the Giants, the two teams on the
- 21:20top end. Very, very scary.
- 21:22Two teams that could actually go to the Super Bowl with Dan Quinn
- 21:25as the coach on one side and Mr. Yappee on the other.
- 21:28So you know what I'm talking about.
- 21:30Yeah. It's one of those patterns too
- 21:32that's very interesting to judge too.
- 21:33When you look at the parody of the NFC East, which has not had
- 21:36a back-to-back champion since the Eagles in 2004 and 2003.
- 21:40And then you look at an NFC team going back-to-back in the Super,
- 21:43you don't see that very often. Seattle was the last one to do
- 21:45that, too. So that's obviously the pressure
- 21:47on the Eagles. But the Eagles are still very
- 21:48talented. Washington, the offseason
- 21:50improvements they made with their offensive line, bringing
- 21:52in tonsils, drafting Josh Connerly, too, that makes him
- 21:54scary as well. And that defense definitely
- 21:56could take a leap. I still think the Eagles do edge
- 21:58out the commanders in the division.
- 21:59But I wouldn't be surprised if it's like a by a game.
- 22:01I think it's that close. Yeah, they're plus 220, the
- 22:05commanders, obviously, I would say they're better than they
- 22:08were last year, So and they were good last year.
- 22:11And Jaden Daniels is going to be better, you would imagine.
- 22:14So it's exciting, although I do think Abdul Carter and the boys
- 22:19might get to them in Week 1. We'll see.
- 22:22I only. Lose by 14.
- 22:24What drugs? I don't know.
- 22:25I don't know man. What drug drugs do you?
- 22:27Want them back? They don't have to cover that
- 22:28and. What drugs are you on, in and on
- 22:31at the same time? Whatever petty smoke could you
- 22:33be in? Hey, they should.
- 22:34They should have beat them. Would you be in last year?
- 22:37The Giants should have won that game.
- 22:38They just didn't have a kicker that game.
- 22:40They should have won that game against that same team.
- 22:43That's all I'm saying. I think my final.
- 22:44That's the. I think I think my final pick is
- 22:47going to be another tight end. It's going to be Mark.
- 22:49I I think it's going to be Taylor.
- 22:50That's why I'm waiting. I'm hoping that he falls to me
- 22:53as my final pick of the draft and it's 15 rounds in this
- 22:56draft. Thank God it's over.
- 22:58I am so disgusted greatly. Why, dude, I want to apologize
- 23:02to the fans because when I get stuck into the draft, even with
- 23:05the interview, I was back and forth because I was trying to
- 23:07concentrate on what was going on and and try to interview, but I
- 23:10actually was a great interview. Thank you to Josh for joining us
- 23:13because he was sensational even though Speedy couldn't finish up
- 23:16whatever he posted up over there.
- 23:17Somebody must have backspaced it by accident.
- 23:19Somebody or maybe you forgot it. No, no, no.
- 23:21I had it in before that I maybe maybe.
- 23:24Is that what it was I had it in? Before that, then Tommy went
- 23:27over there and I don't know, something happened.
- 23:28That's. What?
- 23:29I said Oh, blame it on poop. Dodger.
- 23:32As we all know anyways, ladies and gentlemen, we call this Tic
- 23:36Tac. No Tic.
- 23:40Tac Morris right in the butt. We get the prizes cheap because
- 23:44they're stolen. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 23:57I love the dance move, Speedy. They're just legendary.
- 24:01Is it? Is he legendary?
- 24:02So, so fish, to put it in perspective, I tried to make my
- 24:06logo because I'm I'm Big Blue Blazers for our Nathan themed
- 24:10fantasy Daves. So I tried to like put this
- 24:12picture up with one of Nathan's blue Blazers and it looked like
- 24:15I was like creeping up on it. It was so weird.
- 24:17So I couldn't do it. I think my I think my Nathan
- 24:21quote name for my team is just going to be I love Lisa Ann.
- 24:24Now Nathan already has that one. Does he actually?
- 24:27I love Lisa Ann Nathan. Sees that one already.
- 24:30Nevermind, Grobar. I think it's not strange.
- 24:33Scoop sits on the shitter, Lulu. I could use that, Lulu.
- 24:38Carl plays with himself. You.
- 24:39Could use that one. Carl's in the league.
- 24:42Speedy, our interns have have moved on to non intern roles.
- 24:48That internship is up. We will have a couple of new
- 24:50interns in a couple of weeks but they're not here to help us so
- 24:54you have a better chance. We've been beating you up
- 24:55Speedy. What do you have for us today on
- 24:58Tic Tac though? Well I have to start with the
- 24:59question that Jabba was foreshadowing before.
- 25:02So yes, look after Nick Saban's first year where he lost 3
- 25:05unranked teams, he had a 100 game-winning streak against
- 25:09unranked teams that ended in 2021.
- 25:12To what? SEC School.
- 25:14Say that again. So Nick Saban had a rank of a
- 25:17streak of 100 straight wins against unranked teams that
- 25:20ended in 2021 when he lost to what SEC school?
- 25:26In 2021, he lost to this SEC school.
- 25:29I don't know why I think it's this team, but I'm going to say
- 25:31South Carolina. Nope.
- 25:33South Carolina I think did beat them when they were ranked like
- 25:37they were a low ranked team. Unranked team.
- 25:45Yes, unranked team. Yet they ended they ended the
- 25:48100 game-winning streak. I.
- 25:50Just got to pick an SEC team. I feel like it's wrong, but I'm
- 25:54going to say Vanderbilt. No.
- 25:56Vanderbilt beat them last year, yeah.
- 25:58I'm pretty sure they beat them again like a couple years back.
- 26:01I just, I just did that out there.
- 26:02I don't know. I'm trying to go to SEC teams
- 26:04because I'm trying to. It's trying to SEC teams.
- 26:07I'm trying to remember in my head with some of the teams.
- 26:10So let's see. So fish hit South Carolina, said
- 26:18Vanderbilt. So you got Florida left Georgia,
- 26:21Tennessee, LSU say that again they.
- 26:25Would have had to have been unranked when they beat.
- 26:27Them all right, say that again. So it's Florida, Georgia,
- 26:30Tennessee, LSU, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Missouri.
- 26:35So that's 8. Missouri.
- 26:38It's not Missouri, OH. Damn, I know what it is.
- 26:40I think I got it. Wrong.
- 26:41So that leaves Java. But no, I think they were
- 26:44ranked. It's it's not Nebraska.
- 26:48Yeah. So did you see though there was
- 26:50one guy that picked us to to contend in the SEC it.
- 26:55Won't future realignment. Trying to figure out when
- 26:58that's. Going to No, you're right.
- 27:02There probably be a lot more choices before Nebraska.
- 27:04We get the nod. Everybody wants us in the
- 27:07division because we'll sell out no matter what.
- 27:11Yeah, this the. Same people we've sold out since
- 27:13the Cold War. Oh, don't hate.
- 27:17Mystery reference for fish. Better believe it then.
- 27:21Then you leave and you walk into a cornfield and disappear into
- 27:24heaven like in fields of dreams. Hey, hold on it.
- 27:26It becomes the third largest city in the state of Nebraska on
- 27:29football Saturdays like this. That's pretty wild.
- 27:32There's no It's a true story, too.
- 27:35SEC Team Tennessee. Nope, it was Texas A&M with the
- 27:41Jimbo Fish Service. Jimbo, another Jimbo Fisher for
- 27:46Errol. Yeah.
- 27:48All right, Speedy, where are we going middle?
- 27:50Going in the middle. By the way, by the.
- 27:54Way a young Devon HN had a 95 yard kick return touchdown.
- 27:58You know, I'm getting sick. I'm getting sick of this.
- 27:59Mikey C has a second pick in the draft.
- 28:03How the hell does he get the second pick in the draft?
- 28:08He organized the draft. That's how it gets.
- 28:10It's just, it's ridiculous. I'm always drafting in the
- 28:13crappiest part of the draft and this guy's always on the top of
- 28:16the draft. You know, I'm, I'm not, This is
- 28:18the last year I'm in this draft. This is the last year I'm in
- 28:20this draft. Every year you.
- 28:22Got unlucky with the randomness. Dude, dude, every year I won out
- 28:27of the three. This is the third year.
- 28:28Just tell Mike he's a cheater then.
- 28:30I'm. Going to tell.
- 28:31I'm going to say this is the last time I'm going to be
- 28:33playing in this draft because I'm always drafting in the worst
- 28:36spot. This guy gets the number two
- 28:38pick. He's always in a good spot.
- 28:40I'm always in a shitty spot. I customized our randomization
- 28:44myself. I didn't.
- 28:44This is. Ridiculous.
- 28:45You want to know Mikey, CS team, Baker, Mayfield, Xavier Worthy,
- 28:49Moore, Barkley, Kamara McBride, Samuel Pierce, San Francisco's
- 28:54defense, Murray, Washington, Tillman, Washington, Dylan, This
- 29:00guy's team just off the top. It's ridiculous.
- 29:03It's like, it's like. I don't know, man.
- 29:06I think it's way too early to tell with anyone's team injured,
- 29:09so many injuries, you never know.
- 29:11Speedy, give us some new questions.
- 29:13Can't. Wait for Nathan to be the two
- 29:15seed in our league off of auto draft.
- 29:19We'll go to some baseball this time.
- 29:20So Aaron Judge obviously tied Yogi Berra's record with 358
- 29:23career home runs. So there actually is 1 active
- 29:26player currently that also has 358 home runs.
- 29:29Who is that player? Come on, I would have had to
- 29:34have seen like the stat when they put it.
- 29:36Up. Say that one more time.
- 29:37So there is one active player currently that also has 358 home
- 29:41runs besides Aaron Judge. That's that's impossible.
- 29:48Someone who's probably a 10 year veteran that's power hitter or
- 29:5313 year like a near the end of their career that was like had
- 29:56some pop. I'm going to take a guess.
- 30:00What do you got? Bryce Harper, you got it.
- 30:03Wow, that's some Rain Man stuff right there.
- 30:08I love it. All right, Errol, where are we
- 30:09going? Where is Speedy?
- 30:12Where you got the middle? You pick a place.
- 30:14I don't get the crap. Whatever you guys think.
- 30:17Is you'll go bottom right. There you go.
- 30:21Yeah, his last Homer was off of Miz.
- 30:23It was 100 that barely got out. Yeah.
- 30:26So Stanton is the active leader among active players.
- 30:30Trout is second, Goldschmidt is third, and then those two are
- 30:32tied at 4th right now. Trout just got scratched with a
- 30:35skin infection. Stop.
- 30:38Swear. Just gets the worst luck with
- 30:39everything man. Wow, that sucks.
- 30:42He's like the Brandon Roy of baseball.
- 30:44Pretty much. All right.
- 30:47So we'll move. On all right Speedy.
- 30:48Yep, We'll move on to some some NFL.
- 30:50So we were talking about the Cowboys paying the wrong
- 30:53players. They paid to Ron Bland, who a
- 30:55big contract who has the most or is the second most interceptions
- 30:59in the NFL since 2022 with 14, Which safety in the NFC North
- 31:03that we just talked about is the current leader in that category?
- 31:08Current leader in interceptions. In the in the 2022 since Daron
- 31:12Bland had that big year. You said they're in the NFC.
- 31:15NFC North safety OH. Damn, why can I not think of NFC
- 31:20North safeties? I mean, playing for Minnesota,
- 31:23I'm thinking he's playing on Minnesota.
- 31:25He's got to be the one on Minnesota.
- 31:29What's his name? What is their star safety?
- 31:36Who's their star safety? It's got to be him.
- 31:39It's 100% him for safety on friggin for the Minnesota.
- 31:46For who? The Vikings.
- 31:47The Vikings. Who's the guy?
- 31:50Am I right? Speedy, it's him.
- 31:51It's not him. Oh, it's not him.
- 31:53That's not him. All right, so I'm.
- 31:54Wrong. I was going to say I was in.
- 31:55McKinney from the Packers. Yeah, I was going to say.
- 31:58It's not McKinney. Either something like that.
- 32:00So I it's not McKinney. So Bears, Vikings.
- 32:05Packers. Lions.
- 32:07It would be from the Lions though.
- 32:11Safety, no, Errol said. Safe.
- 32:14It doesn't have to be a safety, right?
- 32:15Could be. No, I said no.
- 32:17He said safety. He did say safety.
- 32:18Safety. Safety, yeah.
- 32:18I said safety. O'Brien branch is on.
- 32:21Oh, wait a second. I know who it is.
- 32:25I know who it is. He can't say it though.
- 32:27I. Can't say it.
- 32:31Can I give him my pick because I genuinely don't.
- 32:32Know who he is. No.
- 32:34Can I give you my pick? I'm saying arrow, since you have
- 32:36it, yeah, PD says. OK, yes, go ahead Arrow.
- 32:38You guys all picked? I'm going to take a guess if
- 32:40you're still there. We didn't pick.
- 32:42Yeah, so you picked. All right and Jabba, said Xavier
- 32:46McKinney. I'll say Brian Branch.
- 32:52It's not Brian Branch. Xavier Woods.
- 32:56No, it was Kirby Joseph. You got the team right Fish, but
- 33:00the wrong guy. Damn, 17 interceptions he has
- 33:03and. That's wow branch got hurt.
- 33:05That's pretty good. I didn't even know that.
- 33:06That's pretty good. Ball Hawks over there Branch is
- 33:10great, by the way. I really think he's a great
- 33:12player. All right, so Speedy, where we
- 33:14going all? Right, let's go with let's go.
- 33:18Let's go right near goody. We'll go, we'll go.
- 33:20Oh no, not there. Bottom left.
- 33:22Actually, is that corrected? All right, I thought I.
- 33:25Tried to go for the win, yeah. I thought, I thought I wrote one
- 33:27top right. All right, So Bill Belichick
- 33:30obviously had the big defeat for North Carolina.
- 33:32His worst defeat as Patriots head coach team came two years
- 33:36ago when he lost in Week 438 to 3 to what NFC team?
- 33:43Say that again. So Bill Belichick's worst defeat
- 33:45as Patriots head coach came two years ago in 2023.
- 33:49They lost in Week 438 to 3 to what NFC team?
- 33:57Well, it's 2025 and the NFC East plays and it rotates.
- 34:03AFC West this year, yes. AFC West this year so then two
- 34:08years ago they would have played.
- 34:11I don't know how it rotates. Damn.
- 34:13They played the NFC East last year, played the AFC North.
- 34:18I'm going to guess is it the 49ers?
- 34:20It is not the 49ers. Damn.
- 34:23No, it can't. It's it's going to be in the
- 34:25South. The NFC, it wasn't bucks.
- 34:31Nope, who is it? I'm actually interested because
- 34:33I remember hearing that seen that game.
- 34:36Does it? I'll give you a hint.
- 34:38It was a team that made the playoffs that year and.
- 34:40What year was this? Two years ago, 2023, it's not
- 34:44the 49ers, no. But it was a team that made the
- 34:46playoffs that year. I looked it.
- 34:53Up. It's funny, I'm going to take a
- 34:54guess. Arizona.
- 34:58No, they did not make the playoffs that year.
- 34:59I'm just taking a guess because he's laughing.
- 35:01It's got to be the other one. They're trash.
- 35:03I. Know Cowboys?
- 35:06Java gets it. Oh, very.
- 35:08Good. Are you serious?
- 35:09You got it. 30 goba Wow goba ass liquor.
- 35:13I should. Why did I pick Arizona?
- 35:14They didn't make the playoffs. I'm so I'm like.
- 35:17They haven't made it since, what, 20?
- 35:1921 You said the South and I was trying to think of like how it
- 35:22went and I was like I may maybe. No, the the the the the Patriots
- 35:27actually play the the NFC Salmator.
- 35:29Carson Palmer, I think. They play Let's block Speedy
- 35:32right here, Jabo, and get into Speedy's next.
- 35:38One last time Arizona made it was Carlson Palmer.
- 35:40Right. No, they.
- 35:41Made it. They made.
- 35:42It recently the year that Kyla Murray they lost in the first
- 35:45round. That's right, Jeff was so.
- 35:49High on the Cardinals because of his boys.
- 35:50David Collins. They fell apart that year.
- 35:53I don't know. I don't know.
- 35:54Why? All right, Speedy.
- 35:55All right, let's So let's go we. Can win on this next one.
- 35:57You got to stop us all. Right.
- 35:58So Mets called up Jonah Tong, who's a Canadian pitcher that
- 36:02made his debut. A lot of the Canadian pitchers
- 36:04that have succeeded and played over a decade in base were
- 36:06left-handed starters, but there was 1 reliever that was a righty
- 36:10that in the NL Central had 46 saves.
- 36:14Name this pitcher. I don't know.
- 36:16Tom Gordon. Nope.
- 36:19Damn NL Central 46 saves in 2011 that led.
- 36:22No cheatings 2011 46 saves. In the in the NL.
- 36:31Central. I was still in the AL at that
- 36:35time. Wait, is this is this your our
- 36:38guy that we had on the show? No, we have not had this guy on
- 36:41the show. I've tried getting him on the
- 36:43show, but now we have not had this guy on the show.
- 36:46OK. 2011 Gosh, who would that have been?
- 36:52I was still playing. Who led the league in?
- 36:56I would assume that's either at the top or close to it. 46
- 36:59saves. Wasn't K Rod wasn't there yet.
- 37:05I'm just trying to think of because I didn't really follow
- 37:08the NL that much and the NL Central, OK, let's think of the
- 37:15Central. Cubs.
- 37:19Brewers. What was his name?
- 37:22Atlanta Pitcher. Kimbrel.
- 37:26NL Central. No, that he's he's in the.
- 37:29East I'm just guessing it's Kimbrel I I picked.
- 37:32Craig has to be someone in the Central.
- 37:34I don't know. I just guessed.
- 37:36I don't know. I might as well wrongly.
- 37:39Guess on the East Coast. I don't know, 2011.
- 37:44You know who played in the Central?
- 37:46Idle guardians, Indians back then, I don't.
- 37:51Know was the answer. Nick Goody, NL, was.
- 37:53It Nick Goody. No, NL Central, not AL Central.
- 37:57NL Central. Damn.
- 37:58Brewers car was called. The Reds.
- 38:00Pirates. I was hoping the answer was
- 38:01goody for some reason. I was, I was thinking, I was
- 38:05thinking Brewers, but I don't think K Rod was there.
- 38:07Yet I should have AI should have a Java and goody tic tac doe
- 38:10theme a week. One time I would be all.
- 38:13Right. Let's get a guess.
- 38:14And we got to move, move this segment a little bit.
- 38:16You could just you could just skip.
- 38:18Off did I did I play with him? Did.
- 38:22I Don't think so. I don't think so, because I
- 38:25think. For the win, Jabba I.
- 38:27Think random dude. Random, right?
- 38:29Blowjob. Yeah, kind of like had a good
- 38:31like 3 or 4 year peak, but then. Doo Doo.
- 38:33Oh, I did, and I know exactly it's John.
- 38:36Axford is that your cucumber or are you happy?
- 38:38To see me wow Jabba for the win. Who was that?
- 38:44John? John Axford.
- 38:45Axford. Because I thought Brewers and I
- 38:47was like K Rod and I remembered he had that good stretch and
- 38:51hold on, I'd want to say I did. He played with Seattle after he
- 38:56was with the Brewers. I don't know if you ever crossed
- 38:58paths with him as a teammate cuz he had one year with the card.
- 39:03So what do you have ended up on? Detroit?
- 39:04I guess maybe as a trade piece. That would be the only instance
- 39:08that that would happen. Cuz he played.
- 39:10Played against him. Yeah, I was gonna say maybe you.
- 39:13Yeah. You probably played.
- 39:14Against him when he was with Seattle.
- 39:16No, no, you're right. No, I'm not.
- 39:19I was freaking out. No, I was right.
- 39:21He signed a minor league deal when I was drafted.
- 39:24Breaking news, huh? I need Brittany also.
- 39:27So he was a. Yankees minor league draft pick.
- 39:29OK. Breaking news, yeah.
- 39:31He. Was running.
- 39:33Next year. Interesting.
- 39:36I knew I wasn't freaking out on a job did.
- 39:38You say your sex part? No, that's.
- 39:40Interesting, I didn't even know he was a Yankees draft pick.
- 39:44Yeah, he signed it. Hold on, let me read.
- 39:46He signed as a minor league free agent.
- 39:48That's called sex. Yeah, so like that.
- 39:53But he was. He was drafted in 05.
- 39:55OK. Yeah, He came up in 2009, so
- 39:58that that makes sense. Yeah.
- 39:59You don't. Want a lunge inside of Java?
- 40:02Gosh. What?
- 40:05What was that 10? God, I don't remember that one
- 40:09it. Was just.
- 40:10Recent Oh I. Want a lunge inside of Java.
- 40:17I want. To pull Java's panties down.
- 40:25That was a good one. What I want to pull jobless
- 40:26panties. Then what?
- 40:34That's. Great.
- 40:35All right. Ladies and gentlemen, we call
- 40:37this a call to the pen. If you can throw a strike on
- 40:41this pitch, it's not going to be my John it.
- 40:43Feels like jello. Right now, just get it over.
- 40:45The plate I want him to swing. Last time I did that the guy hit
- 40:47one that hasn't landed yet for a call to the pen.
- 40:51I got the bubble guts. All right, guys, welcome back to
- 40:56a call to. As long as she's using dude
- 40:58while taking care of my 2 hole I'm good.
- 41:02And we are good. For baseball fans, September
- 41:05means playoff. Phrases.
- 41:07Or resigning your fate till next season.
- 41:10This year, as has been the case most of my life and most of the
- 41:14history of the game, the Yankees are relevant in September and
- 41:17are likely to make it the playoffs.
- 41:18As fans in the city are in the same boat this season.
- 41:20And as fans, we can dream of another Subway Series 25 years
- 41:24later. For baseball players, I would
- 41:26imagine it's a little bit more complicated.
- 41:29For example, the 1998 Yankees, considered one of the greatest
- 41:32teams of all time, were powered in part by September.
- 41:35Call up Shane Spencer, who went bananas in September that season
- 41:38and parlayed that great run into a few years with one of the
- 41:41greatest dynasties ever. Well, what about guys that were
- 41:44there all season? Someone is going to lose their
- 41:47bats or their spot in the rotation or their place in the
- 41:50bullpen. When these phenoms are mostly
- 41:52unheralded, guys like Spencer make their impact.
- 41:55So luckily for us here on job in the mouth, all we got to do is
- 41:58make a call to the pen and get the big righty up to dish on
- 42:01September call ups and how they can help the roster and or hurt
- 42:05the chemistry or help it in the clubhouse for the playoff push
- 42:09as the grind approaches its end job.
- 42:14I think it's, it's a little bit of both.
- 42:18I think when the guys get called up, depending on the situation
- 42:22of where your team is at, I think really is kind of the key
- 42:26component to what the kids or men getting called up are going
- 42:32to expect. Because if you're in it, it's
- 42:35one of those things where they're just, they're up there
- 42:36for the experience and maybe in a blowout, they they get an app
- 42:40here and there. But just to be around, get the
- 42:42travel, the guys that play all the time.
- 42:45And now it's only 28 guys compared to what it could have
- 42:48been. Back when I played, we hated it
- 42:51because we were usually in it. And then they're bringing up
- 42:54guys because they're on the 40 man.
- 42:56And now you have anywhere from 8 to 12 more guys.
- 43:01So your extra locker in some of the clubhouses that have smaller
- 43:05clubhouses suck because you're nuts to butts.
- 43:08And it just that part stinks. I mean, obviously the younger
- 43:12guys have to share seats on the plane, which is not a real big
- 43:15deal. But you know, for guys now too,
- 43:18I, I think it's more that they get it in spring training where
- 43:23these guys get called up. But perfect example for Seattle,
- 43:26you know, you got Cal Raleigh who's there, then Mitch Garber
- 43:29is a backup who's a great receiver.
- 43:31But they got a kid in AAA, Harry Ford, who hit 16 homers and AAA
- 43:36in less than 100 games. And they they called him up.
- 43:39So he's going to expect to just get some at bats when he can,
- 43:42but he knows he's not going to catch.
- 43:44But you're basically rewarding those kids for the effort and
- 43:47the hard work they put in and give them the experience and for
- 43:51the maybe the front office to show them that the hey, you're
- 43:53still a big part of what we see for the future of this club.
- 43:56So I think for there's more positives than negatives because
- 44:00they can see and take bits and pieces of what they can to help
- 44:05the team in the future. But sometimes when you bring up
- 44:08a ton of guys, it just it's a little overwhelming because the
- 44:12young guys that have never been there don't know what to do.
- 44:14They don't want to step on toes or they, they go too far and
- 44:18they try and do too much and like, Hey, we're, you're not
- 44:20winning a job right now in September, dude, like relax.
- 44:23Like he's out here, you know, trying to go full bore and we're
- 44:27just, hey, let's, let's get through this and get to the
- 44:29playoffs and, and get to when the season really starts.
- 44:31So I like it because it gives these kids, you know, that sense
- 44:35of like, Hey, I worked my butt off to get here and, and they
- 44:39reward me and and I, you know, maybe get a couple of bats, but
- 44:42sometimes just being around that atmosphere and, you know, just
- 44:46picking guys brains because as much as, you know, we play the
- 44:50game, we we learn from one another.
- 44:52And maybe there's these questions that these young kids
- 44:54ask that we maybe, you know, haven't thought about or, you
- 44:57know, don't see it from their perspective.
- 44:59And, you know, younger generations a little bit
- 45:01different in the way they see the game.
- 45:03So I think it's, it's a good thing for some of these kids,
- 45:07but it's also too when when you've been grinding and then
- 45:09you've got, you know, 810 more guys in there, just it, it kind
- 45:14of gets a little overwhelming and it's like, all right, get
- 45:16out of my way kid. Like I'm trying to get stuff
- 45:18done. Hey, we got another righty in
- 45:21the bullpen. Let's bring them in.
- 45:23We got Nick Goody in here. Nick, you missed the intro to
- 45:25this. Just talking about September
- 45:27call UPS, how they impact the clubhouse, you know, can either
- 45:30help or hurt. Sometimes the team chemistry
- 45:33people lose their spot or if they give up at bats, might not
- 45:36be necessarily happy with it. But obviously if it's for a
- 45:38playoff cause playoff push, does everyone get on board?
- 45:42Have you seen it go South? I was a September call it for
- 45:48for a few times in New York where they would just call it
- 45:52like all the whole 40 man roster.
- 45:56I I thought it was. You know, for me, like, I mean,
- 45:59just alluding what Java said, you kind of just kind of stay
- 46:02out everybody's way, you know, you know, your deal, you're
- 46:05pitching and blow out for the most part.
- 46:07You're there to kind of give the guys a blow type of thing.
- 46:10So earlier, earlier on in my career, you know, plus, I mean,
- 46:15you're, you're in the big leagues, so you know, you're
- 46:16making decent skedole and. What?
- 46:21Was that skedole? Skedole.
- 46:23What the hell is that? I I think he means Scarol.
- 46:29Scarol, whatever. Yeah.
- 46:32So you know, then, you know, you're up and then 17/18/1920, a
- 46:41little, little later on, like I ended up, you know, you can
- 46:45spend a few years in the big leagues and you, you know, be
- 46:49veteran status, if you will, the older guy in the pen.
- 46:52And honestly, I liked it when the younger guys came up.
- 46:54It was the just because I think at some point, you know, your
- 47:00career is going to end and now you you just want to kind of
- 47:03give back. I had a lot of good veterans in
- 47:05my that I looked up to and I wanted to be that that type of
- 47:09player for the younger guys and kind of just show them the ropes
- 47:11and don't forget the beer on the airplane.
- 47:13Don't forget the beer on the bus.
- 47:15Like tip the clubbies. Do you know, just kind of show
- 47:18them the ropes. And I never, you know, I never
- 47:20was the hard ass that made guys sing just, but I enjoyed
- 47:24listening to it. Tori Hunter was the best they
- 47:27had to sing Little Red Corvette. Little red Corvette.
- 47:32Yep, they had as soon as Tori would always get the mic and
- 47:35Tori Hunter, amazing teammate, great dude, so fun to play with
- 47:39and against. But yeah, literally they would
- 47:42have to get on and and sing little and he would always have
- 47:46it so that the song will be playing with them.
- 47:48So they wouldn't, they wouldn't just be going raw, so.
- 47:51Yeah, I had to go raw, he did. Oh, did you?
- 47:56Did you have to do Ricky dress up more than once?
- 47:59Oh yeah, I did it. I did.
- 48:01I dressed as a Beastie Boy. Careful guys, getting excited
- 48:04right here. I dressed as a Beastie boy in
- 48:08New York. My fresh he tasted itself.
- 48:12Second year I did not. And then when I got to Cleveland
- 48:15I dressed up. They gave me an all black skin
- 48:18suit. So I went dressed up 15.
- 48:19Nothing. 16 Traded to Cleveland, dressed up 17.
- 48:23Oh, and one of those like warp suits.
- 48:25Yeah, dude. And they dropped this off in
- 48:27Seattle downtown, and I was with, I was with the whole
- 48:30Avengers squad. Like I'm talking like I'm
- 48:34talking like the entire we had Thor, we had freaking Hulk, we
- 48:39had whatever and Captain America like and then it was me in an
- 48:44all black suit and like we go to take the team picture and like
- 48:47people were commenting like, Oh, goody hasn't been unlocked yet.
- 48:50You know, like I still have it actually, my kids.
- 48:54Like I'll put it on in the house and just like post up and then
- 48:58kids will just come on and I'll scare the shit out of him.
- 49:00It's funny. Suck my indo the.
- 49:02Scariest costume like that I have for kids is you know that
- 49:05plague Dr. mask with the big bird nose?
- 49:08Yeah, yeah. Yeah, Black.
- 49:09That's like the scariest thing ever.
- 49:11They would actually have people like come around like the
- 49:13doctors that people. Were doing he's a he's a that's
- 49:16a Egyptian God contractor. Did you?
- 49:18Say your sex part, cats. Honestly, I think it's like just
- 49:23supposed to be like, stay away from it.
- 49:25Like you're supposed to stay away, guys.

- 50:53guys, I go back and forth with them on social media and they
- 50:56think I'm the most do they not say I'm the craziest person?
- 51:00I. Think you mixed it up when we
- 51:02when Ray was on Chris was the one that liked Justin Fields
- 51:04they were debating. It but I pick on both of them.
- 51:07I know you do equally and I love them because they know they're
- 51:10football. But boy, oh boy, when they're on
- 51:13social media, especially on the X, they're completely oblivious
- 51:17to the world. Okay, absolutely out of their
- 51:21minds when it comes to all 22 anybody.
- 51:23And by the way, they have great, they're all 22 is sensational.
- 51:27But I have gone back and forth with them saying why am I going
- 51:31to draft 5053 players on a team when it takes me 5 hours to
- 51:36draft? I tell them this all the time.
- 51:38I say we got to figure this out, it's got to make some kind of
- 51:41sense here. But we really What the hell is
- 51:43that? What is that?
- 51:45Is that sting? Is that sting it?
- 51:47Looks like It looks like some of.
- 51:49Them kiss. I think it.
- 51:50Looks some it looks like it is. That's that's a Sting WCW Nitro
- 51:54card. What are you doing over there?
- 51:57What are you trying to do? What are you trying to sell
- 51:59here? This is a little Caesar special.
- 52:02Anybody want it? Holler at me.
- 52:03Yeah, how much does it cost? 5 bucks it.
- 52:07Costs two slices of pizza. Pizza.
- 52:10I'd like it. I like.
- 52:12Hot and ready, that pizza. Sucks hot and ready.
- 52:14What about Stanley? You just made my nipples.
- 52:18Hard. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 52:19we'll be back tomorrow because we're doing back-to-back shows.

- 52:29We really appreciate all the great things that you guys are
- 52:32doing around the world protecting us.
- 52:33So Labor Day isn't soldiers, Errol.
- 52:35Labor Day is people who work. It's working man.
- 52:37It doesn't matter. All the soldiers, all the
- 52:40people, all, all the people that have given their lives up for
- 52:44us. Veteran's day is in two months.
- 52:46It doesn't. Matter labor Labor Day is just
- 52:48as important as veteran's day. Labor Day is is as important for
- 52:52our soldiers. So I don't, I disagree with you.
- 52:55So thank you to all the soldiers supporting and taking care of us
- 52:59every single day of our lives. Anyways, we got to go.
- 53:02I'm tired. I got other things to do.
- 53:05I got to look at this draft and make me sick to my stomach
- 53:07because I watched this. Mikey C drafting 2 out of 14.
- 53:11How does that make sense? Goodnight.
- 53:13It's the worldwide sports radio network.
