- 1:06Speaker 2: the only, the comedic genius, the blue-eyed model. What else?
- 1:12Speaker 2: The double coaster, born on the East Coast, lives on
- 1:16Speaker 2: the West Coast.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Man of the people.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Uh-huh. That's what a lot of people say.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Tell it like it is.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Tell it like it is, you know?
- 1:25Speaker 2: No filter. Non-Hollywood kiss-ass. Uh-huh.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah. And just overall delight, Chris Frangelo.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Welcome back. Happy 2026. 2020 is the first.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Time I've seen you in 2026. Yeah, probably. I know.
- 1:39Speaker 2: You had a wonderful Hawaiian experience.
- 1:41Speaker 1: We had a Hawaiian vacation with the family.
- 1:43Speaker 2: It sounded very fun. I saw your one. Everyone needs
- 1:47Speaker 2: to be following Chris. He does very funny stuff on Instagram.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I saw the one thing that you did was like,
- 1:53Speaker 2: when you're on the group text on a family vacation
- 1:57Speaker 2: and it was like, what's your father-in-law's name?
- 1:59Speaker 1: Fred.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Fred.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Fred, I thought I saw you down there. Could you
- 2:03Speaker 2: grab a banana from the book?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Grab me a banana.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 1: And then there was another one where they have mango
- 2:08Speaker 1: today was another one. I'm on it for no reason.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It's not my family. It's her family, you know, which is, yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 1: a lot of that. A lot of, I don't know,
- 2:16Speaker 1: do you travel like with large, outside of your immediate family?
- 2:20Speaker 2: I mean, we... We did it twice.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Which was a cruise to Alaska and then a cruise to, um,
- 2:28Speaker 2: where are we? Virgin islands.
- 2:30Speaker 1: How many people?
- 2:31Speaker 2: It was like 11.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Oh, that's a problem.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:36Speaker 2: And well, it was a problem because, you know, we
- 2:38Speaker 2: were cheaping out. Yeah. So we didn't get the internet
- 2:41Speaker 2: package and Brandon was still at an age where like
- 2:44Speaker 2: it was stressful. And so we would like lose him.
- 2:47Speaker 2: And then he had to share a room with his grandmother.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Oh no.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And he was like, at the end, he goes, I'm
- 2:53Speaker 2: so tired. I'm so tired of grandma having to wake
- 2:56Speaker 2: up at 6 a.m. to do her makeup for the
- 2:58Speaker 2: wind chamber breakfast.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Oh, my.
- 3:03Speaker 2: And then Drake was staying with his cousin, who my
- 3:08Speaker 2: sister-in-law is the mother, and she had signed up for
- 3:11Speaker 2: way too many excursions. Yeah. So she would be pounding
- 3:14Speaker 2: on his door where they shared a room at also
- 3:17Speaker 2: 6 a.m. to be like, Garrett, get up. We're going
- 3:21Speaker 2: to miss the bus to get on the boat to
- 3:23Speaker 2: go to the da-da-da-da. And it was just like, oh,
- 3:26Speaker 2: my God. Like, this is not even a vacation.
- 3:29Speaker 1: That's what I ran into. It was a lot of,
- 3:32Speaker 1: we'll wait for you. We'll wait. A lot of, we'll
- 3:34Speaker 1: wait for you. Like, you don't. I'm going to run
- 3:36Speaker 1: to the restroom. We'll wait for you. I'm like, no,
- 3:39Speaker 1: seven people don't need to wait for me. I will
- 3:41Speaker 1: find you. It was a lot of, we'll wait. I
- 3:43Speaker 1: was going to, like, the hotel area to get, like, whatever.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I'm going to go get a Red Bull or. We'll
- 3:49Speaker 1: wait for you. What are you going to get? And
- 3:51Speaker 1: then they got to comment on everything. What you get?
- 3:53Speaker 1: Red Bull. Oh, you like Red Bull?
- 3:55Speaker 4: I don't like.
- 3:56Speaker 1: All right. And then everybody's got to comment. It was
- 3:59Speaker 1: driving me nuts. There's no getting away. Anyway, what are
- 4:02Speaker 1: you going to do?
- 4:03Speaker 2: But you had a good time.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It was nice. Lovely.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And then you told me you just saw a movie.
- 4:09Speaker 2: We were going.
- 4:09Speaker 1: To go see. That was my 2026 resolution is to
- 4:12Speaker 1: go see more movies in theaters. I've been doing pretty good.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Well, you know, I don't know if you know, but
- 4:18Speaker 2: I said to the boys, the only thing I wanted
- 4:20Speaker 2: for Christmas is for them to take me on a
- 4:23Speaker 2: rainy day. Okay. It had to be a rainy day.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 4:26Speaker 2: To Cineopolis, which is the fancy Westlake Theater.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 2: And watch Housemaid.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Housemaid.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I heard it's good.
- 4:34Speaker 2: And you know what? I hope dad doesn't listen to this,
- 4:37Speaker 2: but Drake was being like, you know, like a butthole.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And I said, do you want to come to the
- 4:43Speaker 2: movie with Brandon and I? And he was like, oh,
- 4:45Speaker 2: I don't know. And I go, Brandon, just get the tickets.
- 4:48Speaker 2: And so Brandon got two tickets at not that nice
- 4:52Speaker 2: of a theater. And then Drake goes, I guess I'll
- 4:55Speaker 2: go with you. And I said, all right, let's just buy,
- 4:59Speaker 2: forget about the other two tickets. And I mean, it
- 5:03Speaker 2: was a big thing. I was like, do not tell
- 5:04Speaker 2: your father that we are abandoning the two tickets at
- 5:07Speaker 2: the other theater because we're buying three now. At the
- 5:10Speaker 2: Fancy Schmancy.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Oh.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Because I want the experience.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And I'm like, you know, there just comes a certain
- 5:15Speaker 2: time in life. You're like, I just, I got to
- 5:18Speaker 2: do what I want to do.
- 5:19Speaker 1: That's when they bring you food and stuff. All that.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Yes. We got drinks we had eaten before. So we
- 5:23Speaker 2: didn't do the food thing. They no longer have the blankets,
- 5:26Speaker 2: which probably is a good idea.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 2: But I was a little cold. So I think next
- 5:29Speaker 2: time I'll bring my own blanket.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Bring your own blanket.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Sure. I'll bring my own blanket. Yeah. And anyway, I
- 5:33Speaker 2: loved it. I thought it was great.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Sydney Sweeney, totally juicy. And you saw, is this thing
- 5:37Speaker 2: on now? Is this thing on?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Should I see it? I think you should.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I think I should.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Let me tell you why.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:42Speaker 1: The stand-up comedy aspect of it aside, I think it's
- 5:46Speaker 1: exactly your type of movie divorce-wise. They're going through some trouble,
- 5:52Speaker 1: him and Laura Dern. Okay. That's why he discovers stand-up.
- 5:55Speaker 2: This is Will Arnett.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Will Arnett.
- 5:56Speaker 2: And he is starting to be a stand-up, but like,
- 6:00Speaker 2: you know, post-50 years old.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yes. Basically, him and Laura Dern are getting a divorce,
- 6:06Speaker 1: kind of. They're fighting.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And one day he just walking down the street, and
- 6:10Speaker 1: he sees the Comedy Cellar in New York, and he
- 6:12Speaker 1: walks in. And, of course, as comedians, we know it
- 6:15Speaker 1: doesn't really work like this. It's like, just get up,
- 6:17Speaker 1: you know.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Then he gets up.
- 6:19Speaker 2: At the New York.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, yeah. In the Comedy Cellar. It takes years
- 6:22Speaker 1: to get on there, but, of course, he walks right on.
- 6:25Speaker 1: But it's very good. I enjoyed the movie a lot.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I saw someone do kind of like a current up-and-coming
- 6:31Speaker 2: comedian that's out in the clubs and the streets. Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 2: kind of criticizing, you know, how hard it is. And
- 6:38Speaker 2: he was explaining what it's like and all of that
- 6:41Speaker 2: to get, and I wrote, I'm like, that's exactly what
- 6:43Speaker 2: it was like 30 years ago. What you're saying is
- 6:46Speaker 2: exactly what it was like 30 years ago.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 6:48Speaker 2: You had to bring people. It was hard as shit
- 6:51Speaker 2: to get a spot. You've tried to make friends. You
- 6:55Speaker 2: tried to get some representation. Like the, the journey actually
- 6:58Speaker 2: hasn't changed. The only thing that's changed is, um, That
- 7:03Speaker 2: you have this ability to go viral. Yeah. And then
- 7:06Speaker 2: if you can go to a club owner and say, hey,
- 7:08Speaker 2: I can sell out this place.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Then you can have it.
- 7:12Speaker 1: They don't mention any of that kind of stuff in
- 7:13Speaker 1: this movie.
- 7:14Speaker 2: So it was just all straight stand up.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Just straight stand up.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I think it's good that they got rid of that element. Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Even though it would have added some.
- 7:20Speaker 1: There was a comedian, her name's Jordan Jensen. I don't
- 7:22Speaker 1: know if you ever had her on. She's kind of
- 7:26Speaker 1: a young female comedian from New York. And she's in
- 7:28Speaker 1: the movie. And she's great. She's like kind of the
- 7:30Speaker 1: standout in the movie for me. I thought she was
- 7:32Speaker 1: really good. Anyway, it's a good movie. Check it out.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I think you'd like it. Yeah. Laura Derns.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I just saw a video of the two of them
- 7:40Speaker 2: in like a bloopers reel. Will Arnett and his former wife,
- 7:43Speaker 2: Amy Poehler. And, you know, they're divorced.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You're talking about Golden Globe winning Amy Poehler for best podcast.
- 7:50Speaker 2: A good hang.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that she's done for six months.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 7:54Speaker 1: 18 episodes with her friends. Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 2: And with a staff of 72. Yeah, right, right. But
- 7:59Speaker 2: you know what? I talked about it. Like, of course
- 8:02Speaker 2: she's going to win. No one has a bad thing
- 8:03Speaker 2: to say about her. But someone was like, they have
- 8:05Speaker 2: such a funny chemistry. And when they were doing like
- 8:08Speaker 2: they're filming together, people like, oh, I want to, I
- 8:11Speaker 2: want these two to like get back together. And the
- 8:13Speaker 2: thing is, is that when someone actually gets the point
- 8:16Speaker 2: of divorce, even if they're like amicably co-parenting and stuff, oh,
- 8:20Speaker 2: get back. There's a reason they got to that place.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 8:24Speaker 2: That we will never know about.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Strangely enough, that's kind of what this movie is about.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It must be something kind of loosely based on him
- 8:32Speaker 1: and Amy Poehler because they don't hate each other. They
- 8:34Speaker 1: keep saying that. They're like, I just don't want to
- 8:37Speaker 1: be married to you. I like you a lot. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: I don't want to give away the ending.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Which also is kind of rare. Most people, when they
- 8:44Speaker 2: get to divorce, it's very rare. I always say that
- 8:46Speaker 2: two people are like, you know what? I was thinking,
- 8:49Speaker 2: do you really want to be together forever? Oh my God,
- 8:50Speaker 2: I'm so glad you said it. Let's get a divorce,
- 8:52Speaker 2: split everything 50-50 and still be besties. It's very, very
- 8:55Speaker 2: rare that that could ever happen.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It did make me kind of miss the early days
- 9:00Speaker 1: of stand-up, like the hanging out.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, the hanging out after.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Hooking up.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And the vodka cranberries.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that kind of stuff.
- 9:07Speaker 2: It never occurred to me to also say, hey, can
- 9:09Speaker 2: I have some soda water in there? I just did
- 9:11Speaker 2: vodka cranberries. Never had a yeast infection.
- 9:14Speaker 1: That's what people used to do. Oh, yeah, it was
- 9:16Speaker 1: good for that.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Never had a problem down there. That's a lot of
- 9:19Speaker 2: cranberry juice, though. I know. That's too sweet.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Well, nobody drinks anymore, as you've heard, right? I mean,
- 9:24Speaker 1: didn't you do something recently on your Instagram about it?
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I have something on here. Wait, let's just go
- 9:29Speaker 2: back to my order of business. So you say, yes,
- 9:31Speaker 2: you liked it.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I liked it. Thumbs up. Check it out.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Okay, gosh, good. Getting to Golden Globes, which, of course,
- 9:38Speaker 2: we covered. It happened a few days ago. But I
- 9:40Speaker 2: always like to get your take in general. What did
- 9:43Speaker 2: you think in general? Did you watch the whole thing?
- 9:47Speaker 1: I did. I watched the whole thing.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I did not.
- 9:50Speaker 1: I like award shows. You know, I'm a sucker for
- 9:53Speaker 1: award shows. I still like them. I know nobody cares anymore,
- 9:55Speaker 1: but I still enjoy them. It's fun to watch good
- 9:58Speaker 1: looking people, you know. fumble, try to get on stage,
- 10:02Speaker 1: which every time they can't figure out how to get on.
- 10:06Speaker 1: They're moving around tables.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Do they do the Golden Globe Nepo girl anymore?
- 10:10Speaker 1: No. They were doing a very strange thing this time.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I don't know if you've noticed, where they had two
- 10:15Speaker 1: guys almost doing play-by-play.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, like football people.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:19Speaker 1: No, they weren't football people. You know the guy.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Right, it was the Variety guy, but that's gotten a
- 10:23Speaker 2: lot of criticism.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I know, because he was so annoying. People did not
- 10:25Speaker 1: like that.
- 10:26Speaker 2: They felt like it was very annoying, and it was
- 10:28Speaker 2: a guy from Variety.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And it was a guy from Kevin Frazier from Entertainment Tonight.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It was two of them.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I did a show with Kevin Frazier once. The weirdest thing.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Women who soar.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Soar like what?
- 10:40Speaker 2: Let me just tell you this story really quick. Like
- 10:42Speaker 2: fly soar? First of all, it was grammatically incorrect. It
- 10:45Speaker 2: was like, I don't know what it was. Maybe I'm
- 10:49Speaker 2: saying it wrong, but it was like, this person called me.
- 10:51Speaker 2: It was right after Chelsea Lee ended. And they're like,
- 10:52Speaker 2: would you host this thing?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:55Speaker 2: And we were flying to Dallas and it's, it's like
- 10:58Speaker 2: going to be syndicated. It's going to be on some
- 10:59Speaker 2: TV somewhere. I don't know how. And it was like
- 11:02Speaker 2: women that, you know, are inspirations or whatever. It was
- 11:05Speaker 2: like a black tie thing. And Kevin did it with me,
- 11:09Speaker 2: but he got there late.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And then he got to leave early. Cause he's like
- 11:13Speaker 2: inside edition. Yeah. And then I was told I'd get $ 5, 000.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And then after it was over, they gave me a
- 11:20Speaker 2: check for 10. And I was like, oh my God.
- 11:23Speaker 2: And then I realized that's probably what they were paying Kevin.
- 11:26Speaker 2: He's probably getting twice what I was getting. And I
- 11:28Speaker 2: was like, so excited. And at the time, you know, I,
- 11:32Speaker 2: I don't even think I'd started the podcast. And I
- 11:34Speaker 2: was like, oh my God, this is going to pay
- 11:36Speaker 2: for the first year of Crespi for, for Drake. And
- 11:39Speaker 2: this is just like so amazing. And I'm so excited.
- 11:43Speaker 2: And I'm telling Peter, I'm like, the minute I get,
- 11:45Speaker 2: I land, let's go straight to the bank because they're
- 11:47Speaker 2: going to realize that they like double paid me. And
- 11:49Speaker 2: then I land. He's like, yeah, they already canceled it.
- 11:53Speaker 2: And then it took months to get the five months.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:58Speaker 2: But Kevin got his 10. So it was Kevin and him.
- 12:01Speaker 2: And what was annoying about it? Tell me.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Well, I mean, it was just, first of all, he's annoying,
- 12:07Speaker 1: that guy from Variety, anyway.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:08Speaker 1: He's been on either.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And he always is asking sexual questions.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, he asks weird sexual questions all the time about,
- 12:13Speaker 1: so I saw the clips of people now because of this.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Going down and being like, asking about the two rivalry guys.
- 12:21Speaker 1: The rivalry guys, yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Yeah, all that, yeah.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Yeah, so I don't know. It's just something they didn't need.
- 12:26Speaker 2: We didn't need.
- 12:26Speaker 5: No.
- 12:26Speaker 1: No, no. Just let him walk to the stage in silence.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Now, I understand Page Six needs to get as many
- 12:33Speaker 2: articles out as possible about the Golden Globes. So they
- 12:36Speaker 2: put Jennifer Garner and J-Lo, both from the evening, side
- 12:41Speaker 2: by side. Why Ben Affleck's ex-wives, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez,
- 12:46Speaker 2: wouldn't pose together at the Golden Globes?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Why would they pose?
- 12:49Speaker 2: Why would they? First of all, nobody ever asks you
- 12:52Speaker 2: stars to pose unless you actually are a couple or
- 12:55Speaker 2: you're in a movie together and you went there specifically
- 12:59Speaker 2: to promote your movie. Like, I mean, sometimes these headlines,
- 13:03Speaker 2: I'm like, give me a break, you know?
- 13:06Speaker 1: Well, they seem to be fine with each other. I mean,
- 13:10Speaker 1: I don't know what goes on in the Ben Affleck world.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I see him sometimes seeing with Jennifer Lopez still. I
- 13:16Speaker 1: sometimes see him with Jennifer Garner still.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I think.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Somebody says he goes out into the street and just
- 13:22Speaker 1: yells Jennifer and waits to see which one shows up. Yeah.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I don't think either one of them, like, Jennifer Lopez,
- 13:30Speaker 2: I still think she kind of loves him, but nobody
- 13:33Speaker 2: in her life would allow her to ever get back
- 13:35Speaker 2: with him. And I don't think he wants to get
- 13:37Speaker 2: with her. I think he was the one that ended it.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Because I just think as cute as he is, he's
- 13:43Speaker 2: essentially become a grumpy old man.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And there's nothing that a grumpy old man wants to
- 13:49Speaker 2: do less than get dressed up.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 2: They don't want to do Instagram videos. No. They don't
- 13:55Speaker 2: want to take photos of you. Yeah. He'll direct a film,
- 14:00Speaker 2: but he doesn't want to do anything else.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Do you have any interest in going to see Jennifer
- 14:05Speaker 1: Lopez's show in Vegas?
- 14:08Speaker 2: I kind of do. Well, you know, our friend Luella,
- 14:12Speaker 2: who always comes to all our shows, and she's a
- 14:13Speaker 2: comedian too, she lives and works in Vegas. And she
- 14:18Speaker 2: might give me a hookup. I might want to go. Really?
- 14:22Speaker 2: If I go to Vegas, I would like to see it.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I think I want to see it. I love all
- 14:27Speaker 2: her songs. I love looking at her. So sure, why not?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it'd be a fun night.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, Julia Roberts showed up at the Golden Globes
- 14:36Speaker 2: and she looked great. But she did this post. I
- 14:40Speaker 2: don't know why it bothers me. Maybe because I did
- 14:42Speaker 2: it like four years ago before a stand-up gig and
- 14:44Speaker 2: everyone else has it. It's just not original. And it's
- 14:47Speaker 2: where you put on the face mask and the lip
- 14:50Speaker 2: mask and you're like, pre-game. This is what's wrong with
- 14:54Speaker 2: the Oscars. Like, we don't want to see you before
- 14:59Speaker 2: the red carpet at any stage of it.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Gotcha.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Like, keep the mystery alive. And that's what I think
- 15:06Speaker 2: has ruined the show. Because it used to be this
- 15:10Speaker 2: is the only time we get to see these people.
- 15:12Speaker 2: We don't know what they're going to wear. And now
- 15:15Speaker 2: it's like we've seen them getting ready, Instagramming the entourage.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Which dress should I choose?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Come with me as I get ready for those kind
- 15:24Speaker 1: of things.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and I just think it's a mistake.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I watch a lot of Mel Robbins. You know
- 15:29Speaker 1: who that is?
- 15:30Speaker 2: Of course we've talked about Mel Robbins.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Yeah, let them.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Let them. She was nominated.
- 15:35Speaker 1: She's full of crap, right?
- 15:37Speaker 2: That's a scam. Yeah, we were just talking about it
- 15:41Speaker 2: on the other show. It's just really just taking... All
- 15:44Speaker 2: that motivational stuff. We used to call them motivational speakers.
- 15:47Speaker 1: She literally reads bumper stickers that I see on call
- 15:49Speaker 1: and just regurgitates what a bumper sticker says. And why
- 15:53Speaker 1: are people going so nuts for it? I'm like, if
- 15:55Speaker 1: you want to feel good in the morning, get a
- 15:58Speaker 1: good night's sleep. I'm like, well, no shit.
- 16:00Speaker 2: This is the thing about what it is, is women
- 16:05Speaker 2: are always looking to improve their life, find that love life,
- 16:11Speaker 2: find that passion. We are into self-help as a species.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Men, they will do things to make money, but it's
- 16:22Speaker 2: only going to be about money.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Right.
- 16:23Speaker 2: They are not like, hey, I really think what would
- 16:26Speaker 2: be great is to go on a three-day seminar about
- 16:30Speaker 2: how to.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Make my marriage more enriching. Like no, nobody's doing that.
- 16:36Speaker 2: You know, like so, but women will, we will try
- 16:39Speaker 2: to find the latest fitness, the latest, all those things.
- 16:42Speaker 2: So just like the reason that we go to psychics
- 16:45Speaker 2: and things, we just want an answer.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:48Speaker 2: And so you just jump on something and it speaks
- 16:51Speaker 2: to you and you're like, Oh, this will work. But
- 16:54Speaker 2: then just like teenage girls, even though we're 50, We'll
- 16:58Speaker 2: move on to somebody else in a few years.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I feel like it's happening already.
- 17:00Speaker 2: All those same women were into the Rachel Hollis. And
- 17:02Speaker 2: prior to that, they were into Susan Powder. You know,
- 17:06Speaker 2: like prior to that, they were into, you know, whoever. Yeah.
- 17:10Speaker 2: The workout buddy people.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Yeah, right. They're really old. What about the guy with
- 17:14Speaker 1: the ponytail? Remember him? He used to be on that thing.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Chris and Bruce Jenner at the time, they used to
- 17:22Speaker 2: do workout videos. Yeah, I remember.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Anyway, I thought Julia Roberts looked good.
- 17:27Speaker 2: No, she looked great. So this did work for her.
- 17:30Speaker 1: She got a standing ovation, yet Clooney didn't. Came out
- 17:34Speaker 1: next after her. But it was kind of funny the
- 17:37Speaker 1: thing he did with Don Cheadle. Don Cheadle came out
- 17:39Speaker 1: and they talked about it. Don Cheadle was like, no
- 17:41Speaker 1: standing ovation for you.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Not even for his Casamigos or his Nespresso commercials.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Or all the other commercials that he does? I think
- 17:49Speaker 1: Nikki Glaser touched upon Nespresso commercials in her monologue.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Oh, she did? See, I didn't see the whole monologue,
- 17:54Speaker 2: but I'm sure she did a great job.
- 17:56Speaker 1: She was great. I mean, she has a great writer.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Not that she's not.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Great, too, but she was great. She'll definitely get invited
- 18:01Speaker 1: to do it again, I think. Why wouldn't they?
- 18:03Speaker 2: I mean, if I was them, I would try to
- 18:05Speaker 2: sign her. Maybe this has happened to a 10-year contract
- 18:08Speaker 2: that she bought. like what happens with Scientology, like a
- 18:12Speaker 2: billionaire contract, you can't get out of it.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Because if I owned the Golden Globes, I'd be like,
- 18:17Speaker 2: I just want to not have to worry about this
- 18:18Speaker 2: every year. I don't want to have to worry about
- 18:20Speaker 2: her being like, eh, I'm over it.
- 18:23Speaker 1: No. Ten years.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Ask for ten, maybe she'll settle at five.
- 18:27Speaker 1: They did a smart thing last year where they hired
- 18:28Speaker 1: her immediately the next day they made the announcement. She'll
- 18:31Speaker 1: be back next year. So that was good. They should
- 18:33Speaker 1: do that again right now.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah. But then also behind the scenes, they should like
- 18:38Speaker 2: sign her for like ten years. Yeah. They just don't
- 18:40Speaker 2: have to worry about it. Um, we're talking about things of,
- 18:44Speaker 2: we want to get rid of in 2026 is the
- 18:47Speaker 2: whole so-and-so and so-and-so getting married was not on my
- 18:51Speaker 2: bingo card this year on the bingo card has got
- 18:55Speaker 2: to be left in 2025 with six, seven and it's giving.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It's giving all main character energy. Absolutely.
- 19:02Speaker 2: All of those things need to stay in 2025. We
- 19:05Speaker 2: are done talking like that.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I agree.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Um, So they actually had Golden Globe bingo cards.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Oh, they did?
- 19:12Speaker 2: At the table, yeah.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Oh, just what people needed.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I assume.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I feel like DiCaprio is the one that everybody wants
- 19:22Speaker 1: to see and talk to. And the one before that was.
- 19:26Speaker 2: He's our Jack Nicholson.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like Critics' Choice the week before. They're
- 19:30Speaker 1: all the same thing. I don't know which one's which.
- 19:33Speaker 1: And Golden Globe... And then like during commercial breaks, there's
- 19:36Speaker 1: like a line of people waiting behind DiCaprio to either
- 19:39Speaker 1: speak to him or take pictures with him or whatever.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I mean, if I were him, I would just stay home.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I'd be like, I'm out. You know, I don't need
- 19:46Speaker 1: to do this.
- 19:46Speaker 5: I know.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I wonder if anybody is really thrilled when like, oh man,
- 19:50Speaker 2: the movie that I'm doing in Hungary happens to fall
- 19:54Speaker 2: during awards ceremony. Oh, they must love it.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yeah. I would love it.
- 20:00Speaker 2: You know, Nikki Boyer, you know, Nikki Boyer, you remember her?
- 20:05Speaker 2: I know her.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:06Speaker 2: So, you know, she... started the podcast after her friend passed,
- 20:11Speaker 2: which is Dying for Sex, which then became the series,
- 20:14Speaker 2: and actually Michelle... Williams. Williams won.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 2: But unfortunately, she was not able to make it.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Michelle Williams wasn't there.
- 20:22Speaker 4: No.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Which is sort of a bummer, but she did win,
- 20:25Speaker 2: and I just think... It's so amazing, because I had
- 20:28Speaker 2: Nikki on the show when the podcast was starting, and
- 20:31Speaker 2: I was like, well, this should be a television series,
- 20:34Speaker 2: and da-da-da. And it is really... her story should give
- 20:37Speaker 2: everyone hope that like, you know, I mean, she was
- 20:40Speaker 2: in the business, but to leap to like having something,
- 20:43Speaker 2: being an executive producer and having it be nominated for
- 20:47Speaker 2: a million things because you had a great story and
- 20:49Speaker 2: you created it and put it in the right trajectory.
- 20:53Speaker 2: It's like pretty amazing.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:55Speaker 2: And she's so nice. So like she deserves it. Okay. Itching, burning, soreness.
- 21:01Speaker 2: When you know it's thrush, you want it gone. treat
- 21:04Speaker 2: the cause not just the symptoms with caniston combi ireland's
- 21:07Speaker 2: number one thrush treatment brand caniston combi pastry and cream
- 21:11Speaker 2: contain cotrimazole always read the label Number one based on
- 21:14Speaker 2: volume sales data.
- 21:15Speaker 4: To verify, contact info.ireland.bayer.com.
- 21:18Speaker 5: I'm Dhar Mann, and this is What Happens Next. Each
- 21:21Speaker 5: week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people
- 21:24Speaker 5: who have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found
- 21:29Speaker 5: a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 21:35Speaker 2: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 21:38Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:40Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:42Speaker 5: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 21:45Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:48Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 21:49Speaker 1: home dad. What happens next?
- 21:51Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:53Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:57Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 22:00Speaker 5: happens next.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 22:04Speaker 2: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Listen.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Listen.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Star, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 22:07Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 22:10Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 22:13Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:24Speaker 2: What do you think about the transformation of Pete Davidson
- 22:28Speaker 2: from like, you know, bad boy tattoo, dating Kim Kardashian,
- 22:34Speaker 2: just in and out of rehabs to now just your average,
- 22:38Speaker 2: your average dad at the dog park just got rid
- 22:42Speaker 2: of the tats.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Did he get rid of the tats or not?
- 22:44Speaker 2: He's gotten rid of a lot of them. I mean,
- 22:48Speaker 2: right now in this outfit that he's wearing with his girlfriend,
- 22:51Speaker 2: I don't think they're married. They have a baby. They're going,
- 22:54Speaker 2: I guess, to the Golden Globes or some event. And,
- 22:58Speaker 2: you know, he doesn't look as thin.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 2: The black eyes are gone. Thank goodness. But also just
- 23:04Speaker 2: the look. Like, you know, he got a lot of
- 23:07Speaker 2: tats removed.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Yeah, okay. I think I did a post on my
- 23:11Speaker 1: Instagram in Hawaii. That I believe, and.
- 23:15Speaker 2: This is a controversial subject. I'm telling you guys, you
- 23:18Speaker 2: better be following that.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I believe tattoos are ruining poolside resorts. I'm not talking
- 23:26Speaker 1: like people like him who are slim and it looks
- 23:28Speaker 1: good on them. There are those. But I'm talking the
- 23:31Speaker 1: people who got it a while ago and it's a
- 23:34Speaker 1: fated Raiders tattoo on their calf is ruining resort pool.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Every single person had one or many. And they the
- 23:44Speaker 1: days of them having, you know, looking good in them
- 23:47Speaker 1: are gone.
- 23:48Speaker 2: So my brother in law has been in the hospitality
- 23:51Speaker 2: Vegas casino world for whatever, 30, 40 years. And there
- 23:57Speaker 2: were certain hotels and casinos that had a policy that
- 24:00Speaker 2: you could not work there if you had any visible
- 24:04Speaker 2: tattoos from the uniform.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:06Speaker 2: So we're not just talking like neck face, but like,
- 24:08Speaker 2: you know, if you're a bartender and you roll up
- 24:09Speaker 2: your sleeve, like you couldn't show it if you had them.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:13Speaker 2: And with everybody doing the hands and everything, they had
- 24:16Speaker 2: to change that policy like 15 years ago. They're like, no,
- 24:19Speaker 2: you would never have anybody.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:21Speaker 2: But I think my prediction is in the, in the
- 24:26Speaker 2: next five years tend to be exact. It will be
- 24:31Speaker 2: completely out of style.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Really? Yes.
- 24:34Speaker 2: That is just my prediction.
- 24:35Speaker 5: Okay.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Um, you know, there'll be something else, but it won't
- 24:40Speaker 2: be permanent or something. Yeah. And what's going to happen
- 24:43Speaker 2: now is stars like him and my next prediction, Jelly Roll,
- 24:49Speaker 2: will start to remove some of the tats starting with
- 24:53Speaker 2: the face.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Okay. Jelly Roll's already lost a bunch of weight.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yeah, lost the weight. He got new teeth. I'm telling you,
- 24:59Speaker 2: the facial tattoos are going to be the next thing
- 25:01Speaker 2: to go.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:02Speaker 1: He loves to do the fake humble jelly roll. It
- 25:05Speaker 1: annoys me, fake humble. Nothing annoys me more than fake humble.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, now you're here.
- 25:10Speaker 2: That you can't believe that you got there.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and he still does it five years later. Like,
- 25:14Speaker 1: I can't believe it. This is never. I was just
- 25:17Speaker 1: a guy in prison. Look at me now. I'm like,
- 25:19Speaker 1: all right, it's been going on a while.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, when do you switch that? Because, I mean, probably
- 25:24Speaker 2: for the first few years you were just like, I
- 25:26Speaker 2: can't fucking believe it. But now you do fly, fly private.
- 25:29Speaker 2: You are this, you do have a staff.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Eventually got to go. Yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Like, you know, so when does that change?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Well, it should have changed, uh, immediately, but you know,
- 25:39Speaker 1: some people fake it, I believe to make them look humble, whatever.
- 25:43Speaker 1: That's just my opinion.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Well, it does. It does really work because again, just
- 25:48Speaker 2: like a manifesting mama, which is my new name, manifesting mama.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Oh, is that right?
- 25:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 2: It came over the yesterday.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I didn't know that. Um, If I can do.
- 25:56Speaker 2: It, you can do it. I'm just teaching people. I'm
- 25:59Speaker 2: going to start selling courses for $ 30, 000. You're like Mel Robb.
- 26:02Speaker 1: You need a big pair of glasses.
- 26:03Speaker 2: I'm going to.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Where's your big glasses? Put them on and manifest mama. Everybody.
- 26:09Speaker 2: It's going to be my next book.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I told you.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I swear to God, we've got a copy.
- 26:11Speaker 1: That changes everything.
- 26:12Speaker 2: It's manifesting mama. And no, I'm not going to, I'm
- 26:15Speaker 2: not going to charge courses, but I'm going to write
- 26:17Speaker 2: a book called manifesting mama. And it is going to
- 26:19Speaker 2: just be about deciding why not you. Why not you?
- 26:28Speaker 2: Why not walk in a room and say, this room
- 26:31Speaker 2: is lucky to have me here. Not, I don't belong
- 26:34Speaker 2: to be. I don't belong here. No, yeah, you do.
- 26:36Speaker 1: That's pretty good.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Because you walked in.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:40Speaker 2: And when the energy shifts... you have the ability to
- 26:43Speaker 2: shift it around.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Is this the third podcast after Juicy Crime's Manifesting Mama?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Could I be the first guest?
- 26:50Speaker 2: Just like you were the first guest on Juicy's show,
- 26:52Speaker 2: of course. What do you want to manifest? Okay, talk
- 26:55Speaker 2: to me. I'm coaching you now. It's $ 3, 000 an hour. Hi, Chris.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Good morning. Nice to meet you, Manifesting Mama. How are you?
- 27:04Speaker 2: Well, we are so glad to have you part of
- 27:06Speaker 2: the program.
- 27:06Speaker 1: First-time caller, long-time listener.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Well, thank you. What can I do to help you
- 27:13Speaker 2: manifest what is meant for Chris Frangiola in this life,
- 27:19Speaker 2: in this world, in this moment today. Are you in
- 27:22Speaker 2: the moment, Chris?
- 27:23Speaker 1: I like to think I am.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I don't think you are.
- 27:25Speaker 1: No. Okay. You might be right.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Don't use the word might. We're going to take might
- 27:33Speaker 2: out of the vocabulary because you know what might is?
- 27:37Speaker 2: It's insecurity. I might be able to reach it tomorrow.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I might be able to make my sales goals.
- 27:44Speaker 1: So I should say, I'm going to reach it tomorrow. No,
- 27:47Speaker 1: I am.
- 27:47Speaker 2: I am. I did.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I did.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Do past tense and present tense.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I feel like you've read a book on it.
- 27:53Speaker 2: No, I haven't. This is pretty good.
- 27:55Speaker 1: This is real good.
- 27:55Speaker 2: No, I improvised it on my last episode. It's very
- 27:58Speaker 2: natural for me.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 27:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm telling you.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Okay, can I.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I mean, fuck all these topics. I'm ready to be
- 28:04Speaker 2: Manifest Mama.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I tried. I'm not a Manifest guy at all. Not
- 28:09Speaker 1: at all. And I tried one time.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I said, let me... Because I hear people say it works. Yeah, yeah.
- 28:15Speaker 1: So I had a little book. Yeah. You know, I
- 28:16Speaker 1: don't know where I found it. And I wrote a
- 28:18Speaker 1: couple things in it. Someone says, write it down.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Write it down. And then, of course, my daughter and
- 28:24Speaker 1: my wife found it. And they were like, what's this?
- 28:27Speaker 1: And I'm like, it was so embarrassing to have your
- 28:30Speaker 1: manifestations read back to you. You're like, oh, there's nothing
- 28:35Speaker 1: worse than that. And that's what happened. And that ruined
- 28:38Speaker 1: any manifestation I've ever had.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I think there's nothing wrong with manifesting it, but it
- 28:44Speaker 2: doesn't have to cost any money. Yeah. That's all. You
- 28:47Speaker 2: can write it down. You can say it in the morning.
- 28:48Speaker 2: You can just think it in your head. You can
- 28:50Speaker 2: make the posters. but you to me you don't need
- 28:54Speaker 2: to and you can buy a book on it that's
- 28:55Speaker 2: you know $ 30 but I just don't believe that you
- 28:58Speaker 2: need to right get to a level I.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Mean and also I think in your manifestations need to
- 29:04Speaker 1: be somewhat attainable you know what I mean like you
- 29:09Speaker 1: can't just.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Manifest everything well I remember when I first got a
- 29:13Speaker 2: hold of the secret DVD right Lisa Sunstead dropped it
- 29:16Speaker 2: off at my house oh perfect look what and it
- 29:19Speaker 2: was kind of a life changing moment because I wasn't
- 29:21Speaker 2: pursuing stand-up, I'd taken a big break, I had the
- 29:23Speaker 2: little kids, and I watched it. I actually didn't finish it,
- 29:27Speaker 2: but I did gain the important part. But one of
- 29:29Speaker 2: the things was, so it was like all the things
- 29:31Speaker 2: you could manifest, and there was like a scene of
- 29:34Speaker 2: this person in a third world country, like hanging their sheets. as,
- 29:40Speaker 2: as there was like a, you know, narration. And that's
- 29:43Speaker 2: what immediately, well, I was, I said, okay, yes, it
- 29:47Speaker 2: can happen in America. Not all of America. I mean,
- 29:51Speaker 2: it can happen in, if you, you know, it can happen,
- 29:54Speaker 2: but it can happen in America. You can, Become a homeowner,
- 29:58Speaker 2: though it's very hard. You can become a business owner.
- 30:00Speaker 2: There's nothing legally stopping you from doing that. Right. So there, yes.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 30:06Speaker 2: But not for everybody in.
- 30:07Speaker 1: The world, obviously. No, not for everybody yet.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I mean, you know, you can't do it in certain countries.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Some people are just too dumb.
- 30:11Speaker 2: You're walking around with one eye as a woman. I
- 30:13Speaker 2: don't think that you're going to do great makeup tutorials.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Victoria's Secret, you know, fashion show. I doubt it. Maybe.
- 30:21Speaker 2: So, yeah, that's what I think. But, okay, so moving on,
- 30:25Speaker 2: let's talk about this Brittany Furlan thing. This is the longest,
- 30:29Speaker 2: weirdest story ever.
- 30:31Speaker 1: It's pretty fascinating. I don't know much about it, but
- 30:34Speaker 1: I know enough, I think. I don't know the new angle.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Just to catch people up, Brittany Furlan, very pretty actress,
- 30:41Speaker 2: funny girl, made it on Vine. She's been in a
- 30:44Speaker 2: documentary about social influencing. She's been married to Tommy Lee
- 30:48Speaker 2: or together with him for over a decade. Tommy Lee from.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Motley Crue.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Motley Crue. And I want to say, this was like
- 30:57Speaker 2: six months ago, there's this other guy named Ronnie Radke
- 31:01Speaker 2: who's also in a band, very much like a younger
- 31:03Speaker 2: Tommy Lee, all tatted up and everything. And she was
- 31:09Speaker 2: in a lonely part of her marriage and she started
- 31:11Speaker 2: Snapchatting with him. And to the point of, you know,
- 31:15Speaker 2: let's meet, I'm going to come to your house, whatever.
- 31:18Speaker 2: He then, somehow like, I think he came out and
- 31:22Speaker 2: exposed it because Tommy Lee saw the messages and reached
- 31:27Speaker 2: out to him and was like, why the fuck are
- 31:28Speaker 2: you reaching out to a married woman? He's like, I
- 31:32Speaker 2: never reached out to Brittany Furlan. What are you talking about?
- 31:35Speaker 2: She must have been catfished. That is not me. And
- 31:39Speaker 2: she was like, there is no way this wasn't you.
- 31:42Speaker 2: There's no cyber way this wasn't you.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Is that what she's saying now?
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yes. She is saying that now and she was saying
- 31:51Speaker 2: it then. So then he's like, leave me alone. And
- 31:55Speaker 2: then somehow it just bubbled up again. Because I think in.
- 31:59Speaker 1: He's suing them or something.
- 32:02Speaker 2: He's asking for a restraining order against her. Because he's saying,
- 32:05Speaker 2: you know, like, you've been catfished. Stop this. And she's saying,
- 32:11Speaker 2: you're doing this to harass and humiliate me now. So
- 32:15Speaker 2: she's just put in her petition to get a restraining
- 32:18Speaker 2: order against him. Here's the thing. Sometimes when people go, well,
- 32:24Speaker 2: so what? Let him get a restraining order against you.
- 32:27Speaker 2: It's not like you're going to go up and show
- 32:29Speaker 2: up at his house, Brittany. Who cares? But the reason
- 32:31Speaker 2: people don't want someone to succeed in getting a restraining
- 32:34Speaker 2: order against them is because it's on your record. It
- 32:37Speaker 2: gets pulled up. If anything was to happen in the future,
- 32:41Speaker 2: they'd be like, you know, I want to believe Chris,
- 32:44Speaker 2: but 10 years ago. You know, he didn't fight this
- 32:46Speaker 2: restraining order and this weird person at the restaurant got
- 32:49Speaker 2: one against him. So maybe he does have a bad temper.
- 32:51Speaker 2: You know what I mean? So you want to. So
- 32:53Speaker 2: right now they both are trying to get them against
- 32:55Speaker 2: each other. And it's just such a bizarre story. Like,
- 32:59Speaker 2: I don't you know, I don't know. So she's basically saying, no,
- 33:03Speaker 2: you this was you. And you're just trying to like
- 33:06Speaker 2: fuck with me and make us look bad as a
- 33:08Speaker 2: couple and everything else.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Make her and Tommy Lee look bad as well?
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and make me look crazy. That's what I'm gathering.
- 33:15Speaker 2: It's very hard to cover, but it's kind of crazy.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't... And then, is he not suing them?
- 33:23Speaker 1: I thought I had read last week that he was
- 33:25Speaker 1: actually suing them. Oh, okay.
- 33:27Speaker 2: That part I don't know.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I could be wrong.
- 33:28Speaker 2: This is from TMZ. He just talks about the restraining order,
- 33:30Speaker 2: but maybe you're right. Maybe he's suing them for, like,
- 33:33Speaker 2: all the trauma. What happens then is then all this gets,
- 33:35Speaker 2: you know, you wake up every day and you open
- 33:37Speaker 2: your phone and there's people saying like, you're an asshole.
- 33:40Speaker 2: How could you do this? And then that person gets
- 33:43Speaker 2: to a place where they're like, enough is enough.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:46Speaker 2: I never contacted this whack job. She's a horny bitch.
- 33:50Speaker 2: This somehow she was catfished. you know, and it is,
- 33:53Speaker 2: we know how hard it is to find. Um, I mean,
- 33:57Speaker 2: when you saw that, that documentary about the mom who
- 34:00Speaker 2: was catfishing her daughter, her own daughter, That took years
- 34:03Speaker 2: to discover. It's very hard to figure out in the
- 34:08Speaker 2: cyber world if someone's doing that. We know that catfishing
- 34:12Speaker 2: can happen. I don't know. If I was her, again,
- 34:15Speaker 2: I've just said this the other day, I would have
- 34:18Speaker 2: just You fight it, but I guess the best way
- 34:21Speaker 2: to fight it is to fight it with your own
- 34:22Speaker 2: restraining order. I guess that's it. I mean, she's probably like,
- 34:25Speaker 2: why are you bringing this up again?
- 34:26Speaker 1: I know. I feel like it's back again.
- 34:27Speaker 2: So maybe he is just kind of a dick about it.
- 34:30Speaker 1: I don't know Ronnie Radke. I'm not familiar with his work.
- 34:32Speaker 2: No, neither am I. Like, whatever.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I mean, this is the most I've ever heard of
- 34:36Speaker 1: Ronnie Radke.
- 34:39Speaker 2: This is what I do think.
- 34:40Speaker 1: But she's obviously.
- 34:41Speaker 2: I think it could be either or. I think that
- 34:44Speaker 2: it could have been him and it could have been flirting.
- 34:46Speaker 2: And then he didn't want the reputation when Tommy got
- 34:49Speaker 2: mad at him. He didn't want that in the music industry.
- 34:53Speaker 2: So he could be lying. He could. I'm not saying
- 34:55Speaker 2: he is. Don't sue me either. She's been honest in
- 35:00Speaker 2: saying whether he was catfished or it was real, she
- 35:03Speaker 2: was flirting with someone else because they weren't in a
- 35:05Speaker 2: good place.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:06Speaker 2: They're back together now. So I feel like she's been
- 35:09Speaker 2: very forthcoming in it all.
- 35:10Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 35:11Speaker 1: She was a comedian for a minute, right? She was
- 35:13Speaker 1: trying stand-up.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yeah, she was trying stand-up. Everyone does.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody loves it. Until you don't.
- 35:22Speaker 2: I mean, the amount of reality stars that have also
- 35:24Speaker 2: tried it.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Oh, and that's quick.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Yeah, because once you get through just a few people
- 35:31Speaker 2: being interested in seeing you do it, then that's the
- 35:34Speaker 2: end of it.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Like that movie I was just talking about. It was
- 35:36Speaker 1: directed by Bradley Cooper. I feel like Bradley Cooper's got
- 35:38Speaker 1: some sort of weird fascination with stand-up comedy. I don't
- 35:42Speaker 1: really know why. What do you.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Think of his Barry Manilow face?
- 35:46Speaker 1: I mean, it's definitely something. I can't tell what. I
- 35:52Speaker 1: thought it was hairline. It looks weird to me.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I just feel like, you know what?
- 35:55Speaker 1: I think he's been referencing it on podcasts.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Saying that I did get something done?
- 36:00Speaker 1: I don't know. I know he's mentioning it, whether he
- 36:02Speaker 1: says he did or he didn't. He said people now
- 36:04Speaker 1: come up to him and say you look like Barry Manilow.
- 36:08Speaker 1: He said it.
- 36:09Speaker 2: You know, everybody gets them. Everybody gets the facelifts and everything,
- 36:12Speaker 2: and there's nothing wrong with it. And just some people
- 36:16Speaker 2: look refreshed, and some people look really different. And it's
- 36:20Speaker 2: just like, you just don't know what you're going to get.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 2: And if you look really different, and you just have
- 36:26Speaker 2: to then go, yeah, I did this. Hopefully you like
- 36:29Speaker 2: my new head.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Remember the guy you liked before? Well, now he's a
- 36:32Speaker 1: different person.
- 36:32Speaker 2: I'm just inside.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. I'm still the same person inside. It's like Frankenstein.
- 36:37Speaker 2: OK, I want to now the latest on the mom
- 36:39Speaker 2: toxic thing with Ashley Tinsdale. Just to fill you guys in.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Ashley Tinsdale was in like a Hollywood group of women
- 36:46Speaker 2: with Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff. Who's the other one?
- 36:50Speaker 1: That singer all about that.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Megan Trainor. And she basically wrote an article and said,
- 36:57Speaker 2: I had to get out of this toxic mom group.
- 37:00Speaker 2: But basically it's because they were already excluding her.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 37:03Speaker 2: So then when, oh, it's toxic. Well, it's toxic because
- 37:06Speaker 2: we didn't want you there or whatever. Oh, I was
- 37:08Speaker 2: on the edge of the table. Well, some people have
- 37:10Speaker 2: to be on the edge of the table.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 37:11Speaker 2: If you don't want to be on the edge of
- 37:12Speaker 2: the table, get there on time and squat in the middle.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Don't leave until everyone sits around you.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Like, I don't know what to tell you. Like, that's
- 37:18Speaker 2: the deal. And so Crystal Minkoff, who used to be
- 37:23Speaker 2: on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, one of her storylines
- 37:26Speaker 2: was they all said, you know, Crystal, the new girl,
- 37:29Speaker 2: is a weirdo because She got dropped by 14 Friends.
- 37:33Speaker 2: And so some of those women were part of this
- 37:35Speaker 2: same toxic mom group. So now Crystal is saying, oh,
- 37:39Speaker 2: I can relate to Ashley Tisdale because my kids were
- 37:42Speaker 2: in preschool with these mean moms.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 37:46Speaker 2: And I think what they do is they take in
- 37:49Speaker 2: a new mom or the new mom weasels their way in.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Is this, where's this happen? Is this in the Valley?
- 37:54Speaker 2: No, this is like West LA.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Oh, it is?
- 37:56Speaker 2: This is like, I think this is definitely like.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I thought this was a Valley thing. I thought, cause
- 37:59Speaker 1: I thought they were.
- 38:00Speaker 2: No, because Crystal lives in like legit Beverly Hills.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:04Speaker 2: So I think this is Beverly, you know, private Beverly Hills,
- 38:07Speaker 2: Hollywood Hills, West Hills, West LA, that whole situation. Because
- 38:12Speaker 2: it's like, you know, big names. And I think what
- 38:15Speaker 2: happened was someone, you know, ingratiates themselves and says, oh,
- 38:19Speaker 2: and I'm going to have, You know what? Little Johnny
- 38:21Speaker 2: and Susie like each other. Come to my house in
- 38:24Speaker 2: Beverly Hills. And they kind of weaseled their way in.
- 38:26Speaker 2: And they, oh, OK. It was pretty nice. And they
- 38:28Speaker 2: all met, whatever. But then time goes on. And then
- 38:31Speaker 2: they're like, do we have to invite Crystal again? She's
- 38:36Speaker 2: kind of annoying. And then when you're excluded, you're like, oh,
- 38:39Speaker 2: my god. They're bitches. It's like, well, they have a
- 38:43Speaker 2: right to hang who they want to hang with. And
- 38:45Speaker 2: now it's all exposed. And it starts a big conversation.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I personally never was in a mom's group because with
- 38:53Speaker 2: my work schedule and stuff. And then when I would
- 38:55Speaker 2: show up, people would be like, what are you doing
- 38:57Speaker 2: here at school?
- 38:58Speaker 5: Right.
- 38:59Speaker 2: And I'd be like, oh, you know. And they'd be like, oh,
- 39:03Speaker 2: you're not filming or anything today? I'm like, no, I am.
- 39:06Speaker 2: And they'd be like, oh, you don't. I just didn't
- 39:08Speaker 2: think because you're like makeup's done. And I'm like, it
- 39:10Speaker 2: is done. Like just mean things, whatever.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Also toxic.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Yeah, toxic, a little toxic. But, you know, but then
- 39:16Speaker 2: also I was being overly sensitive. I'm like, these women
- 39:18Speaker 2: are running the school. They don't give a shit if
- 39:21Speaker 2: I have to do Chelsea lately or not. Yeah. I'm
- 39:23Speaker 2: not inviting them over to my house. So like, why
- 39:25Speaker 2: do I expect to be invited to the to the
- 39:27Speaker 2: book club? Yeah. it's it's a it's hard i'm at.
- 39:32Speaker 1: The point of i mean the less i'm invited to
- 39:34Speaker 1: the better you know what i mean like if i
- 39:35Speaker 1: was ashley tis i'd be like i didn't get invited
- 39:37Speaker 1: that's amazing i get to stay home um i mean
- 39:41Speaker 1: i'm in a group you're in a dad group dad's
- 39:44Speaker 1: dad dads and doughnuts.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Oh, we used to love the Dads and Donuts.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:50Speaker 2: You know what? I would go to the Dads and Donuts.
- 39:52Speaker 5: I went once.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Because one time Peter didn't want to go. And I go, well,
- 39:54Speaker 2: then I'm going to go because it's the only day
- 39:56Speaker 2: I can go do something. And I went to the
- 39:57Speaker 2: Dads and Donuts.
- 39:59Speaker 1: I went once to Dads and Donuts. I don't think
- 40:02Speaker 1: it's been many after that. I don't think it took off.
- 40:04Speaker 1: It was part of the school. And I went to that.
- 40:07Speaker 1: And at Dads and Donuts was every car parked was
- 40:11Speaker 1: a G-Wagon. So already I'm like, oh no, I pull
- 40:14Speaker 1: up at my Kia Telluride. I'm like, I'm not part
- 40:17Speaker 1: of Dads and Donuts. I'm the Ashley Tisdale of Dads
- 40:20Speaker 1: and Donuts. And three of the guys are, no, I'm
- 40:25Speaker 1: not kidding, brain surgeons. And they're like, what are you doing?
- 40:29Speaker 1: I'm like, well, next week I'm at the Funny Bone
- 40:33Speaker 1: in Omaha. They're like, what? And so, I mean, I
- 40:36Speaker 1: was not accepted.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Wait, I have to ask. So none of these guys
- 40:40Speaker 2: are like, kind of excited to meet you because you
- 40:43Speaker 2: are funny and that's such a cool job.
- 40:45Speaker 1: It became a little bit, there was a little bit
- 40:47Speaker 1: of that later in like when we became basketball and
- 40:50Speaker 1: stuff for like, we were on the sidelines and they
- 40:52Speaker 1: were like, so you, you know, if they don't know comedy.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Wait, your five year old daughter plays basketball.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Six. She's six.
- 41:01Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Basketball is, uh, you know, that's a stretch. She throws
- 41:07Speaker 1: the ball into the air, whether it comes near the net,
- 41:09Speaker 1: is anybody's guess.
- 41:10Speaker 2: But do you have a basketball court at your house now?
- 41:13Speaker 1: We don't.
- 41:13Speaker 2: You have to.
- 41:14Speaker 1: No, but we play, we play, we can go anytime.
- 41:17Speaker 2: And play in this gym. Yeah, but it doesn't take
- 41:19Speaker 2: a lot of room just to get the thing in practice.
- 41:21Speaker 1: You know.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Well, that's amazing. I mean, I think, I, listen, when
- 41:27Speaker 2: I finally got to the place where all this stuff
- 41:30Speaker 2: was over with, you know, basically high school, like, you know,
- 41:33Speaker 2: there's not much that you do with parents once you're
- 41:35Speaker 2: in high school. I was like, wow.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Wow.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I feel like I missed that whole section. Like I
- 41:42Speaker 2: didn't actually do those fun things and now they're over,
- 41:47Speaker 2: but actually I'm really glad it's over. Yeah. I mean,
- 41:49Speaker 2: it's not as great as people think.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 41:52Speaker 2: And then when some people really throw themselves in it
- 41:55Speaker 2: and they don't have other things going on, they are
- 41:58Speaker 2: really devastated when people leave.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Like I saw Garcelle Bouvet and her boys are just like,
- 42:05Speaker 2: just a little younger than Brandon. And she, I go,
- 42:08Speaker 2: I go, Oh, aren't your boys seniors this year? She's like, yes.
- 42:11Speaker 2: And then I go, and she goes, Oh, is it
- 42:13Speaker 2: awful when they leave? I'm like, no.
- 42:15Speaker 1: When they leave like the home. Yeah.
- 42:17Speaker 2: No, you'll be fine. Right. I'm like, you'll be fine.
- 42:21Speaker 2: You'll see them. You'll be fine. It's like, but I
- 42:24Speaker 2: think for some people, like it's really devastating when they
- 42:26Speaker 2: make this their whole life.
- 42:27Speaker 1: The good thing about me is as an old dad,
- 42:29Speaker 1: I'll be dead by the time my daughter graduates high school.
- 42:31Speaker 1: So I won't have to know about that.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Um, Okay, so we talked about Jelly Rolls, Sarah Michelle Gellar,
- 42:38Speaker 2: and Chrissy Teigen are judges for the Star Search Netflix reboot,
- 42:43Speaker 2: which I love a Star Search type situation. What do
- 42:48Speaker 2: you think about the judges that they chose?
- 42:51Speaker 1: How did they come up with this? If I was
- 42:52Speaker 1: a comedian, because I remember comedy was big on Star Search.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Why isn't there a stand-up doing this? Out of all
- 42:57Speaker 2: the stand-ups.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Chrissy Teigen, she's hilarious. She's the... But she did something
- 43:01Speaker 1: like this before. There was like a.
- 43:02Speaker 2: There was a lip sync show.
- 43:04Speaker 1: No, there was like a stand-up show where Chrissy Teigen
- 43:06Speaker 1: was a judge with Jeff Foxworthy. It wasn't that long ago.
- 43:10Speaker 1: And if I'm a comedian, who's probably... They're going to
- 43:14Speaker 1: get people who've been doing it a while, who are pros.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:17Speaker 1: And Chrissy... I feel the same way about like America's
- 43:20Speaker 1: Got Talent.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Yes.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Like if I have to sit there and let Heidi
- 43:23Speaker 1: Klum tell me I'm funny or not funny, I would die.
- 43:28Speaker 2: You're so funny, Chris.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:31Speaker 2: The way you walk. I wish that you would not
- 43:34Speaker 2: walk back and forth so much.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's what she said. I'm like, what do
- 43:38Speaker 1: you know about anything? Like, what? It was distracting. Right.
- 43:43Speaker 2: But I like the joke about your daughter. And I
- 43:46Speaker 2: know I'm doing a horrible accent, but I can't remember
- 43:49Speaker 2: what her German accent sounds like.
- 43:51Speaker 1: But anyway, I feel that way. Like, Jelly Roll Shore.
- 43:55Speaker 1: You know, I mean, I feel like he could judge musicians.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:58Speaker 1: But what does Sarah Michelle Gellar... I just figure.
- 44:02Speaker 2: This is one of those things that there is some
- 44:05Speaker 2: behind-the-scenes packaging deal. Someone has the licensing.
- 44:10Speaker 5: Right.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Some connection. Because I just really feel like, yes, she's
- 44:15Speaker 2: married to John Legend, and John Legend is a delight
- 44:18Speaker 2: in their cute family. But she really has, like, she
- 44:21Speaker 2: really had a rough time in the last, you know,
- 44:24Speaker 2: five years ago.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Yes.
- 44:27Speaker 2: And definitely lost her popularity and definitely fell off the
- 44:29Speaker 2: face of the earth a little bit. So I'm like,
- 44:31Speaker 2: of all the people, like, you know, Sarah Silverman wasn't available. Like,
- 44:37Speaker 2: you know, any female comedian, you know, maybe Wanda Sykes
- 44:41Speaker 2: doesn't want to do it, but even like, even below,
- 44:44Speaker 2: Tiffany Haddish couldn't do this. Like, I mean, I'm just saying.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Oh, they probably asked, you know, so they were probably.
- 44:50Speaker 2: I know, but, what about a real legit real standup?
- 44:53Speaker 2: Like there's enough legit standups that have a following men
- 44:57Speaker 2: or women. You could have gotten another guy.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 2: I'm surprised there isn't a gay person that there should
- 45:02Speaker 2: be one gig. The gay guy should have been the comedian.
- 45:05Speaker 2: That's what you should have done.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Sarah Michelle Gellar is fine. Cause it's just kind of
- 45:09Speaker 2: an overall thing. I still don't know that she's the
- 45:12Speaker 2: one that I would think about judging talent.
- 45:14Speaker 1: I don't. Yeah.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I think the only legit one is the jelly roll.
- 45:17Speaker 2: He's Christian. He's country. He was fat. Now he's thin.
- 45:22Speaker 2: He's tattooed. Then he'll soon be not tattooed. He's got
- 45:25Speaker 2: big teeth. He's relatable. But, yeah. Weird. Kind of weird,
- 45:31Speaker 2: but whatever. It might be hit. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia
- 45:35Speaker 2: escaped America.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:38Speaker 2: But they're back. They bought another home in California for
- 45:43Speaker 2: $ 27 million.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Because, you know what?
- 45:44Speaker 2: Just something. Just a little retreat.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Just miss the sunshine. Yeah. And she's taking photos of
- 45:50Speaker 2: rainbows and the sheep are walking into the house.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Is that in California or is that in the UK?
- 45:55Speaker 2: No, that's Montecito. Oh.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Oh, so she's back already. Yes.
- 46:00Speaker 2: It says, according to your post, she bought another house
- 46:02Speaker 2: in California.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:03Speaker 2: So she might leave the UK. Oh, no. Because I'm
- 46:06Speaker 2: telling you, just like Meghan Markle, you leave sunny California
- 46:10Speaker 2: and you think you can, you know, you like a
- 46:12Speaker 2: London fog or a Burberry trench. Yeah.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 46:16Speaker 2: You like the looks of layers.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 46:18Speaker 2: You don't realize that's, you know, 10 months out of
- 46:20Speaker 2: the year.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Not for you. Not for me.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Yeah. My brother just sent me a picture of New York.
- 46:26Speaker 1: You know, he lives in New York City. And he's like,
- 46:29Speaker 1: we're at this point now where Christmas is fun. New
- 46:33Speaker 1: York City, it's Christmas time. Now it's a couple weeks after.
- 46:37Speaker 1: And he just said it was like a pile of
- 46:38Speaker 1: snow that had been plowed, just covered in like garbage.
- 46:41Speaker 1: He goes, now it's just dirty snow everywhere. time for
- 46:44Speaker 1: the next like two months which we don't have to
- 46:47Speaker 1: worry about.
- 46:48Speaker 2: No we don't so anyway so what do you think
- 46:51Speaker 2: their next step i how i.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Mean they're like out of the business right she has
- 46:56Speaker 1: kind of said i retired okay more or less.
- 46:59Speaker 2: If they don't start alan and portia podcast by the
- 47:06Speaker 2: end of 2026 i will uh do something crazy. I will,
- 47:15Speaker 2: I will, I will, uh, dance naked on the one-on-one.
- 47:18Speaker 1: I don't know. Okay.
- 47:19Speaker 2: I will do something cause you know what's going to happen.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Uh, I wouldn't put it again. Yes. I mean, it
- 47:24Speaker 1: sounds like the trajectory is going that direction. Why wouldn't they?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Ellen Portia podcasting.
- 47:30Speaker 1: If they do manifesting mom, I will freak out.
- 47:32Speaker 2: I'm telling you, I have to copyright that name.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Um, yeah, I mean, but they tell the story like we,
- 47:41Speaker 1: all we want from, from Ellen is we want to
- 47:44Speaker 1: hear what happened. Like, are you, are you the worst
- 47:48Speaker 1: person in the world or are you misunderstood?
- 47:50Speaker 2: She kind of addressed it in her standup special.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Oh, she, I didn't watch that one.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Um, you know, Ian, not, yeah, Ian, um, who was
- 47:59Speaker 2: the guy that, Ian Carmel.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:00Speaker 2: He basically like wrote it, I think for her.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Oh really?
- 48:03Speaker 2: Or he worked on it. He was one of the
- 48:04Speaker 2: writers and stuff.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:05Speaker 2: And for what it was, it was, it was pretty,
- 48:08Speaker 2: I mean, I liked it. I was interested in it
- 48:10Speaker 2: cause she did kind of touch on it and it
- 48:11Speaker 2: was just like, wow. And she kind of made fun
- 48:14Speaker 2: of it. She's like, didn't know I was hated. Like
- 48:16Speaker 2: it was kind of, yeah, yeah. It was just kind of,
- 48:20Speaker 2: the whole thing was weird. And I feel like had
- 48:22Speaker 2: it not broke, it wouldn't have been that big of
- 48:25Speaker 2: a story if it wasn't during COVID, just like the
- 48:27Speaker 2: tiger King would not have been a big show. Had
- 48:30Speaker 2: it not happened during COVID. Like there's just certain things
- 48:33Speaker 2: that just people were home and it just was like wildfire. Like, yeah.
- 48:38Speaker 1: And, um, yeah.
- 48:41Speaker 2: So there you go. And also Meghan Markle might return
- 48:44Speaker 2: to the UK the first time in four years this summer.
- 48:47Speaker 1: All right.
- 48:48Speaker 2: I don't know. What's your prediction for them?
- 48:51Speaker 1: For the Markle and.
- 48:53Speaker 2: H & M.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Yeah, H & M.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Yeah, her husband H.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I mean, I feel like they just live their lives.
- 49:00Speaker 1: I mean, I feel like they have money, right? I mean,
- 49:03Speaker 1: isn't it just.
- 49:04Speaker 2: I don't know that they have enough to live for
- 49:06Speaker 2: the rest of their life the way they like to live.
- 49:08Speaker 2: But it's not just that. I don't think they're totally
- 49:10Speaker 2: fine being like anonymous people.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Really? Well, that's the case.
- 49:14Speaker 2: He might be. But like, I don't think that she. Yeah,
- 49:17Speaker 2: I'm sure any. Yes, of course, they could make it last. Yeah.
- 49:20Speaker 2: They could move into get whatever their 30 million home
- 49:24Speaker 2: dollar home. They could find a cute 5 million.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Right.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Still send their kids to a good public school in
- 49:29Speaker 2: Santa Barbara.
- 49:30Speaker 1: And, and then go do those signings.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Yeah. And Burbank and just sign.
- 49:38Speaker 2: You know, at the, uh, where we were going to
- 49:39Speaker 2: do Chris and Heather forever together forever.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Yeah. They can go like next to Barbara Eden and, uh,
- 49:45Speaker 1: the guy from F troop or something. They'd be in
- 49:47Speaker 1: the middle table sign. You ever see that? That's the
- 49:50Speaker 1: saddest things.
- 49:51Speaker 2: No. One time, Vicki, uh, Vicki and Sharon and Shannon,
- 49:54Speaker 2: the door from real house. So five of OC did it.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:58Speaker 2: They went to Burbank and I'm like, this is so crazy. Like,
- 50:00Speaker 2: you don't just some like douchey promoter called them and
- 50:03Speaker 2: they're like, for how much? Now, but don't you get
- 50:05Speaker 2: paid like per signage?
- 50:07Speaker 1: It depends on who you are. I think in the
- 50:08Speaker 1: case of those girls, Shannon Bedore and stuff, I think
- 50:11Speaker 1: people would come to them. Okay. But there's dudes who
- 50:13Speaker 1: are like, you know, third lead on Lost in Space.
- 50:17Speaker 2: And then do you sign your headshot from when you
- 50:19Speaker 2: were 12, but now you're like 71?
- 50:22Speaker 1: I think sometimes you can get the old headshot for
- 50:25Speaker 1: a couple of more bucks, you know, or you want
- 50:27Speaker 1: my new headshot, that's $ 10. You want me at Lost
- 50:30Speaker 1: in Space look, that's $ 25.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Wow.
- 50:34Speaker 1: My friend was on two seasons of Walking Dead. And
- 50:39Speaker 1: that was such a hit show that he was able
- 50:41Speaker 1: to do it just because of that. He wasn't really
- 50:43Speaker 1: like a standout character or anything, but he went and
- 50:45Speaker 1: he goes, it was the most embarrassing afternoon of my life.
- 50:48Speaker 1: I was like standing behind this thing. And then, you know,
- 50:52Speaker 1: they would take a picture.
- 50:53Speaker 2: But he also owns restaurants. Yes. So this was like
- 50:55Speaker 2: kind of a fun.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Day for him. And he would be like. 25 bucks.
- 50:59Speaker 1: And then, you know, they have to dig into their pocket.
- 51:02Speaker 1: And he was like, oh no, I got to wait
- 51:04Speaker 1: here while they count out $ 25. So yeah, I mean,
- 51:10Speaker 1: they could always do that is what I'm saying.
- 51:11Speaker 2: They could always do that. I definitely think by 2028, okay? Yeah.
- 51:20Speaker 2: She will be on some type of ensemble reality show.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Whatever that is, whether it's something that hasn't been invented yet,
- 51:31Speaker 2: Real Housewives, something, you know, a one-off, Traders, something, you know,
- 51:39Speaker 2: a really high-end celebrity thing that hasn't been put out.
- 51:42Speaker 2: She will be on some type of reality show by
- 51:44Speaker 2: the end of 2027. I, yesterday, was with a couple
- 51:49Speaker 2: of people, and one of them happens to own a
- 51:51Speaker 2: very fancy restaurant in Austin, Texas.
- 51:55Speaker 1: And she was telling a story that, like, they got
- 51:56Speaker 1: a phone call about a half hour before, that they're
- 52:00Speaker 1: on their way. Harry and Meghan are coming to your restaurant.
- 52:03Speaker 1: In Austin. In Austin. Okay. And they're like, oh my God. So,
- 52:06Speaker 1: you know, the security pulled up, da, da, da. And
- 52:10Speaker 1: she says, whether, sure or not, who knows, she said
- 52:12Speaker 1: they were absolutely delightful. She said he was the nicest guy.
- 52:17Speaker 1: They gave her a big hug. It was funny. And
- 52:20Speaker 1: they made jokes about, she had a picture, she said,
- 52:23Speaker 1: of Freddie Mercury and Queen Elizabeth morphed together. And he's like,
- 52:28Speaker 1: should I take a picture with this? And she said
- 52:30Speaker 1: something along the lines, I think you've taken enough pictures
- 52:33Speaker 1: you'll regret or something. He started laughing. And she said
- 52:36Speaker 1: she was wonderful. So I know they get shit on
- 52:38Speaker 1: a lot, but I heard a story yesterday that they
- 52:40Speaker 1: were very nice.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Okay, this is what I think. Why shouldn't they be wonderful?
- 52:45Speaker 1: I always say that.
- 52:46Speaker 2: You're going to a fancy restaurant in Austin. Why wouldn't
- 52:49Speaker 2: you be a funny delight? I think they probably can
- 52:52Speaker 2: be pleasant. Right. I also think all the people that
- 52:57Speaker 2: hate working for them, Yeah, you were working for them.
- 53:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Do they have that? Are there people out there who
- 53:05Speaker 1: say they're paid to work for?
- 53:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's always like, oh, they went through their third publicist, whatever. Well,
- 53:09Speaker 2: maybe they were not happy with the PR. It has
- 53:11Speaker 2: never been good. Maybe they're like, we hired you so
- 53:14Speaker 2: you could turn it around.
- 53:15Speaker 1: I mean, look at the PR. It's not good.
- 53:16Speaker 2: It's not good. So it's like, maybe that's why you
- 53:18Speaker 2: were let go. But no, I'm sure at a restaurant,
- 53:23Speaker 2: They can turn it on, and also you want these
- 53:26Speaker 2: stories to get out, that you're like a total delight,
- 53:28Speaker 2: you tipped really well, and whatever. I don't think she
- 53:36Speaker 2: is that fun, but would I want to see her
- 53:39Speaker 2: in the real house as Beverly Hills? Fuck yes.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Would I like to see her become more real and
- 53:45Speaker 2: all of that? I don't think she's ever really been real.
- 53:47Speaker 2: I don't think we know the real her.
- 53:49Speaker 1: No, absolutely not. As a dear friend. No, I... Yeah,
- 53:52Speaker 1: I agree. I don't... So how do you do that, though?
- 53:56Speaker 2: I think as she gets older, as this gets further
- 53:58Speaker 2: from her, this whole princess thing, I think that, you know,
- 54:02Speaker 2: just like everybody, the closer you get to 50, and
- 54:04Speaker 2: she's like 43 or 44 now, she will get it
- 54:07Speaker 2: to the fuck it place, and she will get to
- 54:09Speaker 2: be more truly authentic.
- 54:11Speaker 1: I believe the way to fix these type of problems, where,
- 54:15Speaker 1: you know, for whatever reason, people just don't buy what
- 54:18Speaker 1: you're selling. It's a risk, but you host Saturday Night Live.
- 54:24Speaker 1: You have to host Saturday Night Live. Yes. It makes
- 54:26Speaker 1: you look human. It makes you look, and you could
- 54:29Speaker 1: goof on everything. Like if Meghan Markle and him together
- 54:35Speaker 1: host SNL, I think it humanizes that.
- 54:38Speaker 2: It's just like when- But they could bomb, and you're real. No,
- 54:41Speaker 2: it's like when Kim did it, and that was the
- 54:43Speaker 2: first time she made fun of the sex tape for-
- 54:46Speaker 2: eight years, we could not make fun of the sex
- 54:48Speaker 2: tape on Chelsea Lately. That was the one rule. We
- 54:52Speaker 2: could talk about anything else. We could be political. We
- 54:54Speaker 2: could talk about different countries. We could be racist. I mean, everything.
- 54:59Speaker 2: But do not talk about that sex tape. And then
- 55:01Speaker 2: she got up there and she joked about it. And
- 55:05Speaker 2: not that she wasn't like before, but it made her
- 55:07Speaker 2: that much more likable. For sure.
- 55:08Speaker 1: I think you're totally right.
- 55:10Speaker 2: And I think that they should reach out to her
- 55:13Speaker 2: if not this year, then maybe next.
- 55:15Speaker 1: Right. And it would get huge, right? People would love that. Yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 1: I don't know. What do I know? Anyway, I fixed it.
- 55:21Speaker 2: And as long as they write her something funny and
- 55:23Speaker 2: she executes it, then people will be like, she is funny.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:27Speaker 2: You know? Okay. I love that. Dr. Oz explains new
- 55:30Speaker 2: alcohol guidelines. Don't have it for breakfast. So what do
- 55:35Speaker 2: you think about this?
- 55:37Speaker 1: Well, first of all, I don't think enough people know
- 55:39Speaker 1: that Dr. Oz and you and I have worked together.
- 55:43Speaker 1: It was the strangest afternoon of our lives.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Totally forgot about that.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I know. I can't. Every now and again when I
- 55:47Speaker 1: see some weird thing about him.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Somebody find it on YouTube.
- 55:50Speaker 1: It's somewhere. We did the craziest weird. It was before
- 55:54Speaker 1: he had become working in the. I'll tell you this.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Well, he definitely wasn't in the administration. This was like
- 56:00Speaker 2: 10 years ago.
- 56:01Speaker 1: And he was thinking about having. He was going to
- 56:04Speaker 1: start like a funny show. Somebody told him you need
- 56:08Speaker 1: to do YouTube.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Content and be funny.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Be funny. So he had this idea that he was
- 56:14Speaker 1: going to do, he was going to work with comedians
- 56:17Speaker 1: and be like their doctor. Yes. He was going to
- 56:19Speaker 1: be a comedian's doc, different comedians doctor. And they would
- 56:22Speaker 1: come in and say, here's my problem. And he would
- 56:25Speaker 1: fix it. That was the bit. And somehow I played
- 56:30Speaker 1: his nurse. I don't even know how any of this happened.
- 56:33Speaker 2: I was like, play a gay nurse.
- 56:35Speaker 1: I know. I was like, I wasn't, I don't think
- 56:36Speaker 1: I was playing gay in this one. I normally did,
- 56:39Speaker 1: but I think this one I was supposed to be,
- 56:40Speaker 1: I don't know, but I was a nurse.
- 56:43Speaker 2: I don't even remember what I was doing.
- 56:44Speaker 1: And you were, you were Heather McDonald.
- 56:46Speaker 2: You were our, Oh, and I was asking like about
- 56:48Speaker 2: a medical thing. Yeah. And then wherever we went, it
- 56:51Speaker 2: was such an interesting place. It was this place that
- 56:53Speaker 2: had all these different sets.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:55Speaker 2: So it was like, what, like literally here's the hospital
- 56:58Speaker 2: room that you could do or a doctor's office. Here's
- 57:01Speaker 2: a court scene. Here's a, and kind of cool. And
- 57:04Speaker 2: so I was like, Oh my God, like, this is
- 57:06Speaker 2: so great. You could just like rent this out anyway.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Um, so we did. So anyway, we worked with him.
- 57:10Speaker 1: I remember him telling me during a break, he would,
- 57:16Speaker 1: he told me about Matt Lauer. He's like, Matt Lauer
- 57:18Speaker 1: is the next one tomorrow. He's going down. I heard it.
- 57:21Speaker 1: He got it. I heard it first.
- 57:23Speaker 2: And how much time went between him telling you and.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Like the next day. Oh yeah. It came, it broke
- 57:29Speaker 1: the Matt Lauer stuff.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Anyway, Do you think Matt Lauer is ever going to
- 57:33Speaker 2: come back? He says he wants to come back or
- 57:35Speaker 2: just a podcast.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I mean, has he done that yet? Yeah.
- 57:39Speaker 2: I don't think he will. I think to him, it's
- 57:42Speaker 2: really beneath him. Though in the past, I saw this
- 57:47Speaker 2: interview that he did with Corey Feldman and stuff. He
- 57:50Speaker 2: was fucking great. He was really good. Who, Lauer? Matt
- 57:53Speaker 2: Lauer was really good at like, like getting under people's
- 57:57Speaker 2: skin and asking the hard questions.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Well, he was also, yeah.
- 58:00Speaker 2: I mean, I don't care if he's a dick or like,
- 58:04Speaker 2: he was good. Like I don't, you know, but again,
- 58:07Speaker 2: you don't need him back. It's 10 years later. He
- 58:09Speaker 2: obviously had all those problematic things with harassment, but it, yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 2: I'm like, so I think his ego, I think he's
- 58:18Speaker 2: got such an ego. I just don't think he can
- 58:20Speaker 2: bring himself. Maybe now that we're in the Golden Globes
- 58:24Speaker 2: and things, maybe now he can. Right. But I'm sure
- 58:27Speaker 2: he has said no to like, you know, every year
- 58:30Speaker 2: his agent probably has brought him some amazing deal and
- 58:32Speaker 2: he's been.
- 58:33Speaker 5: Like, no.
- 58:33Speaker 1: I haven't heard anything about him in a while. Yeah, anyway.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Or he just doesn't want to work. I mean, why?
- 58:39Speaker 2: Why?
- 58:40Speaker 1: At 72 years old or whatever he is.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Why do you have to do anything? But the only
- 58:44Speaker 2: thing was, okay, if you do a great podcast, imagine this.
- 58:47Speaker 2: I'm Matt's agent.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Hi, Matt.
- 58:49Speaker 2: How are you?
- 58:50Speaker 1: What are you doing? Hey, what's going down? Long time,
- 58:53Speaker 1: haven't heard from you.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Well, I've got the whole team here.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Okay. Hi, Matt. Hey, Susan.
- 58:59Speaker 2: It's Josh over here. We haven't met, but I'm really
- 59:01Speaker 2: excited to talk to you.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Hey, Josh. How are you? Happy you're on the team.
- 59:05Speaker 1: What's happening?
- 59:06Speaker 2: Well, obviously, you know this. we're huge fans. And we
- 59:12Speaker 2: feel that 2026 is a year for the Matt Lauer takeover.
- 59:18Speaker 1: Oh, I like that.
- 59:20Speaker 2: You know, I don't know if you're aware, but your
- 59:22Speaker 2: old interview clips have gone viral on TikTok.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Which ones? The ones where I asked Anne Hathaway about her...
- 59:29Speaker 1: Looking up her skirt or something? He's had some tough ones.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Oh, well, yeah. There's been some of that, but there's
- 59:34Speaker 2: also been some really great ones. And we have been
- 59:37Speaker 2: talking to some people that are really excited in the
- 59:43Speaker 2: audio-visual space.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Okay. I'm listening.
- 59:47Speaker 2: I'm not saying podcast. I'm just going to ease you in.
- 59:50Speaker 2: It's the audio-visual space, and one thing that is not
- 59:55Speaker 2: going to be taken by AI is authentic personalities and
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: people are wondering what has Matt Lauer been up to?
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Where is Matt Lauer?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Oh, remember I used to do that. Yeah.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Yeah. And where you've been is in your beautiful home
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: in the Hamptons.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: And I've got, um, Ebadon here. Ebadon, say hello. Hello.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Hello.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Hey, Evadon. How are you?
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Evadon can be on your property within an hour.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: And he has recording equipment?
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: He is going to set up any room to have
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: your own podcast. We're going to get a neon sign.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Yeah, behind me.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Where is Matt Lauer? Here is the name we came
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: up with.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Oh, I love it.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: And we're going to get you a co-host. Oh. Not
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: a female. We thought, yeah. And we're not going to
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: go with a gay guy either. Oh.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Okay, who's going to be?
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: We have found a... What would you give him as
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: a co-host?
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Dr. Oz. No.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Who could we get as a co-host that would be safe?
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Who?
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: A lesbian woman.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Oh, Rachel Maddow. But she's got a job.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: No, a lesbian woman who... Oh, God.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: A lesbian... woman who's also a sports star. We're going
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: to find one for you that hasn't exploded yet.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Yeah. So like a WNBA player maybe or something.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Or tennis or something or whatever. And that's going
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: to be your cohost. And you guys are going to
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: just do hot topics. You're going to talk about funny
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: things and it's going to be one hour a day,
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: one hour out of your week. One hour out of
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: your week. Do you think you could do that?
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I think I could probably pull that off.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: We have an offer for you.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: It's a little low. We're going to get it up.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: It's a minimum of four million a year.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Once a week. But you only have to do 20
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: episodes for the year.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Oh, I'll take it. I'll take it. Let's send Mondano
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: right over. We'll start now.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I feel like we fixed like four
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: people's careers here.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: In the last 15 minutes.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: We got an agent, a big commission.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: I do so much for people. It goes nowhere.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Is that all?
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Anyway, he says don't drink alcohol for breakfast. Don't have
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: any alcohol in the morning. So that's pretty broad. I mean,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: he wants to keep this business going.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Where are you on drinking these days? How many?
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: I don't like to count it. Oh, okay. You know,
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: I go, I right now am in the middle of
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: wet January.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Oh, wet January.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: A lot of people go in the other direction. Yeah.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Dry January. I like to stand out.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: So are you still just wine?
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: No.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: No, I thought you were wine.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: I like everything.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: I like a exciting tequila drink.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Right now I'm into this one at my club called
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: No Way Rosé. It's a rosé tequila by Adam Levine. Oh, really?
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: And they created some yummy juices that went with it.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: It's still delicious.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: A rosé tequila. All right.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: It's delicious with like some exciting fruit juice.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Of course, I love Romero Chardonnay. It's my favorite. I
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: love a cab, but I found, I remember my mom
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: being like, red wine gives me a headache.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: And I think, honestly, it doesn't, that does not agree
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: with me as much as in my age.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: So I think it's like, and I don't like to
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: drink for breakfast, but I like, I like a linner.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Not to sound like Amy Poehler that did a whole
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: episode with Gwyneth Paltrow about going to dinner early. But
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: I like a linner, which is like an early dinner.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: And if I'm going to have a drink, I like
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: to have it like on a Saturday, like earlier in
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: the day.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Not breakfast. Like what time?
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Like start at like four or five and just have
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: a cup. Well, maybe earlier than that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: But anyway. Are you out at your club here or
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: are you.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: At the house?
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: My whole thing is I'm trying not to drink at
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: the house. Yeah. Like it has to be a reason. Right.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: But then Peter's like, why are you drinking at the
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: club when you could just have a bottle of wine
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: here and it's a lot less expensive?
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Well, it's no fun.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah. I'm like, because the whole point is
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: like having nights where you don't crack anything open.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: You know, it's like very much Days of Wine and
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Roses with Peter and I. If someone opens the wine.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Throw the bottle out.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: So I'm like, can we just not like open anything?
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: I definitely think everyone, you know, there's no reason to,
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: everyone should be cutting back. But God, you know what? No.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: The world is ending. Enjoy your life. Just enjoy. What
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: is it going to matter if you're sober for all
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: of January, if you're going to start up in February?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Why not? This is what I've decided. It used to be,
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: don't get wasted. Just enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. No,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: now I'm the opposite. Now I think.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Get wasted?
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: I say, in college, my friends used to say, let's
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: not drink tonight. Let's save it up for tomorrow. Now
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: I'm going back to college, and I think, Why have
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: a glass of wine or one drink when you're not
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: even going to catch a buzz? Why waste those 300 calories?
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Why not wait and then just really have it like
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: a rip at night? That's a good attitude. Have like
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: one night where you really party, take whatever you need
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: to take, buy talks, a little something to don't get
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: hung over. I don't really get hung over anymore and
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: I never get sick from it.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Because I don't.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: A true alcoholic.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Yeah. A true alcoholic maybe. And, um, but no, I'd
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: rather just have like one really fun.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Night. Good. And then, and then be good for like
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: four days after that. Right.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I mean that, you know, I keep reading these things
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: that nobody's drinking anymore and whatever else. So yeah, I'm
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: just curious as to where people are at.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: It's definitely not, there's definitely no benefit from it at all.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: But there is. Here's the thing.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: I believe there is happiness. Yeah.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Like that says a benefit. Like
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I don't, I don't even really drink that much, but I,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: it's fun to be out and, Have a drink here
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: and there.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: I don't know how I could stay at things for
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: a long time if I'm not having a drink or
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: looking forward to the next one.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: I wouldn't go out. I would stay 15, 25 minutes.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Like when a night is a really fun night and
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: it goes longer than two hours, it's because there was
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: drinking and talking and you were not boring me.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Yeah. You know? What do you have to talk about? Now,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I'm sitting down with Heather MacDonald having a couple of drinks.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: What do I need to talk about besides Heather MacDonald?
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: We talk about anything. We talk about the news. I mean,
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: I talk about things I can't talk about on the show.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Yeah, right, right.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: And maybe some darker things or whatever. Talk about families
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: and kids and gossip about people that I wouldn't want.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: To talk about. Gossip of people.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Yeah, like people we know and whatever that is. It's
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: my favorite. Yeah, just stuff like that. Shit.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: You got to talk shit.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Yeah, like some shit talking, some funny, like whatever.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing. Going back to dad groups and
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: mom groups and stuff, sometimes I go back to my wife.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: She'll be like, how what? I'm like, well, nobody talks shit.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: So it's no fun. Like I don't want to talk
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: about anything they're talking about. I don't want to talk shit.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: I have been in situations where it's too much kid talk.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Oh, it's the worst. And I'm in it.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: And also, like, I don't want to hear about where
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: your kid is thinking about going to college.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: What were your three?
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Because I already lived through it and I'm over it.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I totally get it.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Back in Chelsea, you had three rules that you could
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: not talk about. One of them was how you got
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: to work.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: The route you got here.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: The route to work.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: The route and the traffic and the route.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: It was traffic. I went this way instead.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Any kind of ailment.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Went down victory instead of the 405 guy.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Any kind of ailment. I'm with you on that one.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: That you've got. Well, I'll tell you. I had a
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: pulled ligament.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: The surgery. You just got surgery.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: I don't know what the third one was.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: It was the third. I forgot what it was now.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's definitely those two.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Some sports or something.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Barbie Mattel has added an autistic Barbie to the doll line.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: She has to wear headphones. She has a... I guess
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: it's a spinner that sometimes autistic kids... A fidget spinner.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: A fidget spinner. And she's very cute. Now, one of
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: the articles that was written was like, the doll avoids
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: eye contact. That was in the... And I thought that
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: was kind of a mean thing to say.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: But how could that.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: I know. I think it was like.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: You could make it.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: I think it was a snarky headline. I think all
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: this stuff is good.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I mean.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: This one woman wrote, as a 53-year-old mom who loved Barbies,
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: I have an autistic daughter, and I'm excited for her
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: to see this and be like, oh, I have that thing.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Especially if your daughter has that fidget thing.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: But, you know.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Can't you just take the regular Barbie and tell your daughter,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: this Barbie's autistic? Because it looks.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Oh, my God, you're right.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: There's no look. The look is not different. There is
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: a Barbie with.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Is there a Down syndrome Barbie?
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: There is. Okay.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: That's good.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: And that looks a little different. And then, of course, there's...
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: We have it. I think I bought it by accident.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I didn't know it was because in the package, it
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: didn't look like it was. But it has vitiligo, like
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: a skin.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, based on the model?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Yeah. So my daughter has a Vitiligo Barbie.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: She wanted it.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: No, she didn't want it. I got it for her accidentally.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I thought it was regular Barbie, but it's Vitiligo Barbie.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: So we have fun with it. Of course, this is
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: like going back to what you said.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: American Girl.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: I can't talk about the things I say on the podcast.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Well, like my American Girl dolls, McKenzie, who is my daughter,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: who is half Asian, She, my stepdaughter technically, and she
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: was very into the American Girl stuff. Yeah. And I
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: loved it. And the American Girl stuff, they all have
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: like a backstory. So there's like one that grew up
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: in the prairie and it's good because it's like historical stuff,
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: like a little book comes with it.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: And she wanted Addie, who was a slave.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: A slave? She was. But like, okay.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: She was a little black girl that was a slave.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Oh, like a slave. Oh, okay.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: No, she was a real slave.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: She wasn't like a sex trafficked. No, she was a.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: Slave in like the 1800s. Got it. And, you know,
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: like she came with like a sadder bed, everything.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: And I was like, but why don't you want this
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: cute Asian doll who was one that, she lived in
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: San Francisco. Oh, what a life. It was from the
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: 70s and her parents were divorced.
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Oh okay and i was like this is like don't.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Wait that was her backstory yeah divorced parents from san
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: francisco in the 70s.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: And she was asian yeah but mckinsey's like no i
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: want to own this one and i was like let's
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: not say own like i just.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah i don't know it comes with a lot
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: of okay yeah how are they doing american girl still
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: a thing my daughter has no interest Yeah, at least.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I don't know if that changes.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: It's very expensive, so be happy that not.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: But it is cute. When you go to the Grove,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: there's a hospital there. Like, if your dog gets hurt,
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: she can get her hair done. She can sit at
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: the table and eat with you. And, I mean, that's
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: a lot better than the story I did last week,
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: which is about, you know, women that just buy these expensive,
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: real-life-like dolls that are, like, heavy and stuff. And they
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: act like they're moms.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Yeah. A table for three. I have a slave with
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: me and an Asian girl from the 70s. Table for three. Everyone?
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: So you put them, they have their little, like, you
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: know how you'd put, like, a child's seat on a table?
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: They have it for the dolls.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I've seen it, yeah.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, for the dolls.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: And, yeah, but then all of a sudden one day
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: she's like, no, I don't want this anymore.
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: And then I was like, okay, now what do I
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: do with the doll, the dress that I... And then,
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: you know, my sister's daughter wasn't as into it, but
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: we still gave it to her for a while.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Okay, yeah.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I mean, eventually you just throw all this shit out, right?
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I mean, that's kind of.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, you should give them away. Same with
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: the Thomas the Train and all that stuff.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Yeah, then... But, yeah, it's cute. Okay. Now, I went
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: down this TikTok route of Dax Shepard, also Golden Globe nominee.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: For his podcast, yeah.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Yeah, armchair expert.
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: And.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: You know, he's been doing it a long time. He
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: has a very popular podcast. He has a female co-host,
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: but he also has Kristen Bell on it a lot.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: I've never been a guest. Never been asked to. I
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: don't know that I've even tried to. So I'm not
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: like out to rip on him. I have never really
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: listened to much of it, just that I knew it
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: was super popular. But he had Cher on.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: My God.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Talk about someone that looks great. Her voice has never changed.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: And as someone who uses my voice, I hope that
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: my voice doesn't turn into old lady voice.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Yeah, she doesn't really have old lady voice.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: She doesn't. And she's like 81 or something.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: There was some controversy that when she was on Saturday
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Night Live a few weeks ago, she was being auto-tuned
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: or lip-syncing.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: Oh, she did it, she sang?
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Singing is one thing.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: Okay, singing on stage is one thing that you are
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: going to lose your energy to. I mean, I do
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: one song of karaoke and I'm out of breath. So
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: like singing is a whole nother thing than just talking.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: But I'm saying her voice still, she just sounds exactly
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: like she always has. Like, sure, you know. And so
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: she's sitting there and she's with Kristen and they're asking
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: her questions and the clips have gone viral and people
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: are like, have gone, I've ended up on a TikTok
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: route of a lot of people and this has been
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: a while thinking that, you know, when you do podcasting,
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: with your spouse, you really are stepping into the marriage.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: You are seeing what is going on. And now we
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: can sit back. And the same thing happens with reality shows.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: And now other people can analyze someone else's marriage. And
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: a marriage is always different. So they think that he
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: is a little scary, that she was placating him because
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: he asked Cher... who would you rather see Kristen with
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: than me? And Cher's like, what? Why are you asking
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: me this? And people are like, what? And Kristen's like, oh,
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: he's just being self-deprecating. And so then it would switch
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: to someone analyzing it on TikTok going, I've lived with
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: a man like this. He's going to punish her for this.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: He's setting it up, his insecurity, blah, blah, blah. But
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: then the other part of me is like, you know what?
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: They have their own weird thing going, and they've been
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: married 18 years, and they seem to be doing fine.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: I feel, I'm going to go with that one. Yeah.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I've met Dak Shepard a couple of times and he
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: seems like a pretty nice guy. I could be wrong,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: but I don't know.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: I just think when you expose yourself for that many
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: hours and your, and your career is podcasting or reality show, whatever,
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: where you really are just being yourself.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: Anybody can pick apart something you're saying and say, Oh yeah.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: she hates her husband. Right. You know, she hates being
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: a mom. She just said she was happy when the
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: mom time was over with, you know, like anyone could.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: And it's just like, well, what are we going to do?
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I saw a clip where she, Cher said something along
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: the lines of, I don't get what she sees in
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: you or something.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Is that where it started?
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: So.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: And I also just think that's funny. Cher is hilarious.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: I thought she was just being funny.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Cher is being hilarious.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Like her thing has always been, she's kind of like,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: tells it like it is kind of on, Yeah. She
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: called let him in an asshole years ago on on
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: the show.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: I mean, she really is a queen. And whatever plastic
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: surgery she's had over the years, she still looks great.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: And then, you know, she's supposedly going to marry or
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: she's been with for a long time. Amber Rose's ex. Oh,
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: is that with a guy who's 38? Yeah. And I've
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: said this. If I was Amber Rose, I would be thrilled.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: that the father of my younger kid was with Cher.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: She's smart. She's brilliant. She's raised kids.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: She has a shit ton of money. I mean, wouldn't
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: you rather have your guy be with Cher than, like,
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: some OnlyFans hoe that's going to be, like, not watching
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: your kid while she films herself shake her ass? Like,
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: it's a perfect person.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. I'm a big fan.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: So what are they saying about Dax Shepard? That he's
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: evil or something?
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: They think that he's narcissistic. They think that, you know... Um,
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: all these things that they've analyzed, like there was a
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: time where she was really into Dax and he was
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: dating someone else and he didn't want her. And then
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: he broke up with that person, whoever it was, who
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: was another star. So then they've joked that he like
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: settled for her. And then there's a video where he
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: is talking where he's like, you know, it's not great
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: being with someone like Kristen who, you know, has to
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: stop the car to get a dog that's not on
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: a leash and invite a bunch of people over. So
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: he's like complimenting her.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: I see that as him being funny.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: It is funny.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: It's funny.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Everybody's an idiot.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: He's like, my wife is a better human than me.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: There's a bunch of... There's a whole world of humorless
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: bores out there.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: They've got nothing better to do but come... They don't
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: get the joke. And if you don't get the joke,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: that's on you.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: And he said the first episode he ever did was
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: he made her do it. Yeah.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: And.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: they bitched the whole time because they were like arguing
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: and they've been together 18 years and she didn't want
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: to do it. And she's like, what is this? And
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: so then they were both like, well, maybe we shouldn't
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: put this out. But he decided to. And that is
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: what skyrocketed the podcast because they're like, oh my God,
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: we got to see this real side because everybody bitches.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Absolutely. I mean, it's very rare.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: And there's a handful of people that are like, My
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: parents had the most loving, fabulous relationship. And then they're
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: mad at them because they're like, well, you gave me
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: unrealistic expectations and that's why I'm single. Like, you can't win.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: But it's very rare that nobody, that everybody's just super
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: lovely to each other every second.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I remember, I don't know if you do, that he
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: hosted one time, Chelsea Lately, when she wasn't there. Chelsea
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: was not there. I remember he was one of our
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: guest hosts. I do. And we always had this issue
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: anytime we had a guest host. We had quite a
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: few of them over the years. And Dax being one
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: of them. And we always, as writers, we'd have to
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: pitch to them. And we would pitch like Chelsea or
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: what we would do for 1,000 shows. And they didn't know.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: It was just bullying and cruelty.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. But they didn't know that. And I think
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: his movie Chips had bombed or something. And we all
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: had like 15 Chips sucked jokes. And he was just like, what?
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: And we're like, you had a dumb movie. You did Chips. Like,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: let's talk about that. And he, I remember he was like, well,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: a lot of people worked very hard on that movie.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: And I think that would be disrespectful to them. We're like, Oh,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: this is going to be a long day. You know,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: he's one of those guys. So that was hard.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: But that, but yeah, he was still great.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: And he's right.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: You know, sometimes, Even now, more and more, even in
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: this job, which we rip on people and stuff, I
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: do take an extra couple seconds. So I have evolved
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: as Manifest Mama. I do take a couple moments before
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: I comment or think to say, well, now wait a minute.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Like if someone sees this or whatever.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Why comment on that under this post about someone's outfit
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: or whatever? Like I covered the outfits of the Golden
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: Globes and I still think I said, I listened back
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: and I'm like, okay, I wasn't mean. I was being interesting.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: You know, you can still be interesting. I'm like, I
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: still think she's a great actress, but I'm like, this
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: hair was not right. You know, whatever.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I think we've both evolved. I mean, let's face it.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: Yeah, like you realize.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: We could have done 25 minutes on Artistic Barbie, but
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: we didn't. You know what I mean? We've evolved. Amazing.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: What do you think of this whole nickel up pelts thing?
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: who is married to Brooklyn.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Beckham.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: Their oldest son is married to a beautiful girl. I
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: think she comes from a prominent family.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: She does. Nikola. A Russian oligarch.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: And they had a, you know, big, lovely wedding and everything.
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: But it's been like a year and a half that
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: he has like not been part of the family. And
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: she has scraped every photo of the Beckman, Beckham, Beckham, sorry,
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: of the Beckham family from the Instagram feed.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. I keep hearing different things that they were invited,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: that they're not invited.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: They didn't go to his 50th birthday. They didn't spend
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: the holidays together. The other thing I just heard was
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: he's like, look, maybe we can get back together, but
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: I don't like it discussed on social media about me.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: I don't like you tagging me in things. If we're
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: going to do this, we're going to do it separate.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Who says that?
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: That's what allegedly he's saying to his friends, what it is,
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: like why they're not. connecting back with the family.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: I just think this is just so sad. And I
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: have lived this with siblings and stuff like that. So
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: sometimes it just isn't repairable, but in this new way
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: of like, you know, Oh my God, my mental health.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: And I need to like cut off people just as
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: a parent with like kids getting older and It's just
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: very scary that you would think that the classic, like, oh,
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: my God, ever since she married that man or he
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: married that woman, now we don't have actus to our
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: child anymore.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: And, ugh, I don't know. Like, what do you do?
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: It is, I mean, you know, getting like in-laws involved
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: in things, it's tough. In-laws.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: If anybody decides to marry my kids... I will be
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: kissing that ass of the in-laws.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Oh, really? Oh, yeah. Yeah?
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: I will love whoever that person is. I will be
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: completely accommodating. I mean, because I don't want it to
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: be ever to get to this, where the person is like, no,
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: your mom always makes it. Every Christmas, we have to
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: go to your mom. Like, I just don't ever want that,
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: because then... you can't get past it. So it's like
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: this year, McKenzie has a boyfriend and she, it was
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: Christmas Eve and God protected me because I went and
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: made a reservation for 6 PM and they said it
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: was full. So I said, Oh, I guess we'll do
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: it at three. And then she's like, Oh, that's great
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: because we're supposed to go to her boyfriend's family's house
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: in Brentwood for dinner. I'm like, perfect.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: Because they were at our house for Thanksgiving. So I
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: felt his mom gave up Thanksgiving. She's probably the same way.
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: She only has one kid. So she's probably like, I
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: don't want to ever, in case they get married, I
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: don't want to ever be the mom that took over, whatever.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: So I think you just have to be so... And
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: if it's the wedding day.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: I will go to the bride and be like, what
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: color do you want me to wear? I want you
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: to approve my dress bride. Yes. I don't want to
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: be overstepping the bride. And then when you give birth,
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: I am never going to insist to be in that room.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Does that happen?
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: There's mothers of sons that are like, it's, I want
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: to be there. And not unless, and even if she
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: asks you, you might want to be like, I think
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: it's really sweet that you asked me, but you know what?
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: I want that to be your time with your husband
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: or your time with your husband and just your mom
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: or whatever. As the mother, just like, God, don't fuck
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: this up. You spent this whole time raising this kid
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: and now you're not going to have the next chapter because...
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: You demanded you wanted it your way or you got
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: your feelings hurt.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Isn't there another kid too? Don't they have another?
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: No, they have. So they have three boys and a daughter.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: So that's also sad.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Like that he's not part of the.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: And then when there's that much money, it's not like
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: anybody has to work.
- 1:24:12Speaker 5: No.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: It's not like anyone has to have a passion or anything. Yeah.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: So you just need to show up at like chateaus
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: for weeks at a time and hang out.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Sounds lovely. Oh my God. It's not a life I
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: ever led. I mean, I tell my daughter this sometimes. Like,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: we're doing fine. I don't think she knows.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: They never know.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: They don't know, especially if they have their own plane.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: They don't know. It's just like getting in a car.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: It's just like a dog.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: A dog doesn't know that it's going on a plane.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: A dog just thinks it's going in a different kind
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: of car. Right.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: It doesn't know.
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: Yeah. So it's like a kid is like, oh, isn't
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: this how everyone travels with five bodyguards and you don't
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: have to wait in an airport? Like, why would they know?
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: They need to know.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Just like there's somebody that maybe has never been on
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: a plane and they're in buses.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: And, you know, like, I don't. Oh, you're right. There's
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: people that can only travel by bus, like whatever.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: My daughter said to us the other day, she goes,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: I don't know what sand I like the most. Hawaii,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: the Hamptons or Malibu. I said, you little fuck. You
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: know what sand I was in? Sandbox. Dirt. It was dirt.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: Dirt.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but whatever.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: What did she decide, though? I need to know.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: She seems to like the Hamptons the best.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: Because it's softer and it's whiter.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: It's not as granular. Yeah, exactly. It's much softer.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: I'll definitely take that East Coast.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I agree with her. I'm glad I was able to
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: show her different sayings throughout life. What a guy.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: So true. Okay. Madonna is Just signed a $ 10 million
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: deal with Netflix for a seven-episode miniseries that will chronicle
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: her artistic and personal journey. Okay, but who's doing, isn't
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: there a scripted show that that girl is playing her?
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: That was supposed to be a movie.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: That was written by, that was a whole years ago.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: Kind of written by her and people were like, oh, wow.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Diablo Cody was involved. She wrote it.
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: And that went away. And then there was the girl from, yeah,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: the blonde girl.
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: The girl who played the Anna Delvey.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: Then she was going to play her. Well, I thought
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: that was a good match.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: No, I think that one went away. And then Madonna won.
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: Because I heard it was like she was too involved
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: in the script. Yes. And, you know, like, you know,
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: of course, if that's, if you're Madonna, you're going to
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: make yourself look great in every single moment, every breakup,
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: every scene, every, you know, whatever. And maybe, so there
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: was creative difference.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: I mean, I read this story about her potentially having
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: a Netflix show, which I don't know if it's true
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: or not, but I think the $ 10 million is kind
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: of low.
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: For a seven-episode miniseries. I agree.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: You hear these numbers thrown around on Netflix. It's like,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: this guy got $ 70 million for a Netflix special. Comedians
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: and stuff like that. I saw $ 10 million for Madonna.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: That's got to be a misprint or something, right? To
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: get Madonna to do a TV show?
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: I mean, I will watch it. I have been fascinated
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: by Madonna my entire life. I always said she's the
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: one person I want. I imagine if someone said, who's
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: your dream guest, which people have asked, it's Madonna. That
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: is my bucket list. If someone knows Madonna, if there's
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: any way I could interview her. It was so special
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: when you'd see her on Oprah because she'd only come
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: on once every three years. She didn't do a lot
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: of interviews. And I just, like, loved her music and everything.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: And now I just, yeah, I have so many questions
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: about her kids. I follow her son, Rocco.
- 1:27:46Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: He's a very established painter.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a painter, yeah.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: And he's kind of funny, and he shows her a lot. Like,
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: he films her.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: And the other day, he had some showing of his art,
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: and he had both the parents there, which is really lovely,
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: because there was a time where.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: Guy Ritchie's the dad, right?
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: Guy Ritchie, the director. There was a time where, like,
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: There was some controversy where he didn't want to live
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: with her. He didn't want to be with the dancers
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: on tour.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: And he was living with the dad. And it's lovely
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: to see that even if that did exist and it
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: was difficult, now he's an adult. He appreciates both of them. Right.
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: You know, you go through those stages of things.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: And then she has the twin daughters, or maybe they're
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: not twins, but she has two daughters she adopted and
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: the boy. Yeah. And then she's got the young boyfriend.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: The new face.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: A bit. I saw it. It's toned down a little bit.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: It toned down and she looks amazing.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: But she still every now and again has the gold
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: teeth and stuff.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: Wait, I want to show you this before we go. Okay. Because,
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: all right, here's a photo of, a cover photo of
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: Westlake Malibu Lifestyle Magazine.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Okay, sure.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: I covered up the name who it is.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: I know who it is because I saw it already. Oh,
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: darn it. No, I thought it was Trish Paytas.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Do you know who that is?
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: Yes, Trisha Paytas.
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: That's who I thought it was.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: Which would totally make sense because Trisha Paytas lives out here.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: Well, that's why I clicked on it because I thought
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: it was her.
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: It is not.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: I know. I was shocked.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: It's Candy Spelling.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: But it looks like kind of a black person but
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: with a white.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: This one? Yes.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: It looks like something from that movie you were in.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: You know what? She could look like Giselle. She could
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: look like Giselle on Real Housewives of Potomac.
- 1:29:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: Um, she, this is crazy. So I had to go
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: to the thing and it's not candy's fault. And candy
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: is 80 and that are in person. She looks great. She,
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: but she's 80. Doesn't look, is going to share.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: You would never know that's candy spelling.
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: I mean, it doesn't even look like that. I mean,
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: it's one thing to touch up a little, but I mean,
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: look at this. Yeah.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: I mean, come on.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing. If somebody, I mean, there's been
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: times where somebody has done that to me and I'm like, no, please,
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: dear God.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: Like you can't, you cannot like, sometimes when I have
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: friends like do the zhuzhing, cause I don't do the zhuzhing.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: And then I'm like, all my, all of a sudden
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: my teeth, like literally what the difference is, is they
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: make my lips and my teeth look fuller lips and
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: the teeth whiter. And, but I'm like, whatever, if you
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: like it, I like it. But I purposely don't do that.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: So that when people meet me in person, They're like,
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: oh my God, you're prettier in person instead of like,
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: what's that monster coming outside?
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: You probably haven't dealt with it yet, but I know
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: you're going to go back out on the road and
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: you're going to see it. Comedy clubs now are doing
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: a weird thing where they're using AI pictures.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: Oh my God, we just had that for the meet
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: and greet in Vegas.
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: They just asked, give me an AI, give me a
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: photo of Heather McDonald. And it's like a completely different
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: person wearing the red dress.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: I am going to be in Seattle on Thursday night.
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: And Portland, well, this would already happen. But Thursday night
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: I'll be in Seattle. Emerald City Comedy Club, Seattle. Come
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: see me. You should have seen the AI picture. Because
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: they take, it's like when you get that caricature of
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: yourself at an amusement park. They take everything you've been
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: sensitive about your entire life and enhance it. And that's
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: what they did. It's just like, oh, what is that
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: freakish picture of me that they used on the poster?
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: No, like this is what I looked like in the photo. Like,
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: I'm just going to do like a different face. I
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: was like this, like. Yeah.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: I mean, it's.
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: Like a.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: It is wild.
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: Like it's like a little off.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a little off. In the case of mine,
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: it was way off.
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: I mean, I think it is way off. I will
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: also find that. I think we have it somewhere.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: And we will show it. But, um. I mean, the neck,
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: I mean, and the hair is very useful to begin with.
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: Of course, yeah.
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: So it's like, she's got like a wig on, and
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: I mean, it's just, come on already. Their casting, I
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: came across this, from executive producers to Secret Lives of
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: Mormon Wives and the McBee Dynasty, bold, unapologetic, fun, confident women,
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: now casting, they're looking for you, from across the U.S.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: who have roots in and around Islam, Or an affinity
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: for the Church of Latter-day Saints or other religious communities.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: So now there's going to be like Mormon wives of
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: San Diego. Mormon wives. So are you strong, vibrant, outspoken,
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: and ready to potentially share your life, your voice, and
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: your story on a possible reality series? Are you newly
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: converted or have recently left the church? Oh, so they
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: want controversy with the church. Do you have a friend
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: group with big personalities and even bigger stories? You might
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: be perfect for TV. The way they wrote that would
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: make a young person go, you're right. I might be
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: perfect for TV.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: I can't believe they're still doing Cat. I feel like
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: it's going away. Am I crazy?
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: What, reality shows like this?
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Yeah, just like cable TV reality.
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: No, I think what it is is younger people, they're
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: so used to having their whole life out there that
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: going the next step And basically just having someone else
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: edit their life because they've showed it so much. And
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: then that leads to just more opportunities in the job
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: that they're trying to do, which is influencer. It makes
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: perfect sense.
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: Got it. Yeah.
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: Even though to like ruin their life, they're like, I
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: don't care. I wasn't planning on staying married to this
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: person the whole time anyway.
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: So who cares?
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: So that's happening. Well, Chris, tell everybody. Where they can
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: find you.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: Come over and check out.
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: In the next couple weeks. Next couple weeks.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: Next couple of weeks.
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: So this weekend.
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: This weekend, well, Thursday night I'll be at the Emerald
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: City Comedy Club in Seattle. Okay. Then I'm coming to
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: Rhode Island, a place I haven't been in a long time.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: I'm very excited to come back to the Comedy Connection
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: in Rhode Island. Comedy Connection. What date? 22nd of January. Okay.
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: And then 23rd and 24th of January I'm at Roar
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Comedy Club in Springfield, Massachusetts in the MGM Casino. And
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: then on Valentine's weekend, it's always a big comedy club weekend, Spokane, Washington,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: Spokane Comedy Club, the 12th, 13th, and 14th of February.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: Bring your lover to Spokane Comedy Club.
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: Or your polyamorous family. Or, yeah. That's actually fine.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: I love the Spokane Comedy Club.
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: Well, wait. When is Portland? You didn't say Portland.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: It's Wednesday, so you're not going to... It'll be over already. Oh.
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: All right. Well, hopefully you went.
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like... That's why I put
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: it on the Facebook page.
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Chris, cover to cover.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: It's my podcast, cover to cover. People love it. Come
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: on over and check it out.
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: Drake and Peter love it.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: Do they really listen to it?
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: No, they really do.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: To spy on what I say?
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: No, like the regular stuff. Because it's a dude. It's
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: different stuff than this. But some of it is the
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: same and you get Chris's perspective on On pop culture
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: and stuff, but you also have a different take on things.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: I mean, you go deep on stories. I, you know,
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: like looking for them. Sometimes I'm like, I got nothing.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: And then I just talk about, you know, my daily life.
- 1:35:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: I seem to enjoy that sometimes too.
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it's always funny.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: But yeah, it's good. I love doing it. Thank God.
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: Yes. And Patreon too.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Patreon.
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: Chris is like me. He never flakes. He never blows
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: it off.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: No, constantly I'm doing it.
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: We wish we wish we could how many episodes.
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: Are you doing now like you do a ton.
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: Right I do Tuesday and Thursday's Juicy Scoop Wednesday's Juicy
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: Crimes yeah Friday's Patreon and then usually an extra drop
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: over the weekend for the top tiers of Patreon so
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: essentially five.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: And then you stay in this community for the most
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: part always out on a boat always on a golf.
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: Cart try yeah I do if I don't have to leave.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: I don't want to oh I meant to bring up
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: something to you what please and this is going to
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: be controversial yeah I hope you're ready for it I
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: am You went to a Spotify Golden Globes party.
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: I was not invited.
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: I'm not mad because I probably wouldn't have went anyway.
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: However, I think you invited the most popular people on
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: your podcast.
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: Brandy and Julie? Yeah.
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: Well, no.
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: Me.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: But I wasn't invited.
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: I want to tell you what happened.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: Uh-huh. Okay. By the way, how was that party? First
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: of all- Was it like a real- Was it the
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: people who were nominated for podcast at the Golden Globes?
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: I got invited because somebody that works at that party
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: is a fan of Juicy Scoop.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: That's the only reason.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: There were very few podcasters there.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: Oh, so it wasn't like the smart list guys weren't there.
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: I mean, Amy was there. Amy Poehler was there and
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: Mel Robbins. So I think they all probably got invites,
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: but they didn't all go. And it wasn't like, let's
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: invite great podcasters. It's literally some girl who put it
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: together is a fan because I get there and I'm
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: waiting for Brandy and Julie to come. And my agent's there.
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: She didn't invite me. She didn't think to invite me.
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: And then the guy who works at my network was there.
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: What are you doing here, Heather? No, they didn't invite me.
- 1:37:19Speaker 2: They did not invite me.
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: The only reason I got invited is because somebody that
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: worked at that party. And then I said, can I
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: please take Brandon and Julie? Because they do like to
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: go to those parties.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: No, I know.
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: But I'm just saying, they do. And otherwise, I probably
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: would have just taken Drake. And Drake... you know, they,
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: he doesn't care to go, but I would have maybe
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: had him take some photos. Thank God they came. And then,
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: and then Zach Peter somehow, probably the summit fan of
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: his probably got invited because really there were very few
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: people in the podcast world that, that were like actual
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: podcasters that were invited. It was mostly all ad execs.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:37:58Speaker 2: And like network execs that put Spotify together. It was
- 1:38:02Speaker 2: like they, it was their party basically to.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: Like, how was the party? Any good?
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: It was very good.
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:38:07Speaker 2: It was very good because there was, live performances by
- 1:38:11Speaker 2: Chaka Khan Amazing, and it wasn't crowded. John Legend. Tons
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: of food. Tons of bars. It was a really good one.
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: Thank God I got invited. But originally when I got it,
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: I'd been invited to a Spotify party around Christmas time
- 1:38:27Speaker 2: the last two years. Yeah. And I went the previous
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: year and it wasn't, it was too young and it
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: was like outside like a carnival and it was cold. Yeah.
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: So I chose not to go this Christmas.
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:38:39Speaker 2: And so when this got invited, I did have, I
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: had my guy, Derek, who helps with the PR. I said,
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: can you just investigate this?
- 1:38:47Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: Is it cocktail? Should I wear boots and a coat?
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: Am I going to be freezing? Is it worth going?
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: You never know. And then you go and you're like,
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: oh my God, this was so nice. I'm so glad
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: I didn't blow it off. Sometimes you go to something
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: and it sucks. And sometimes you go to something expecting
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: nothing and it's nice. That's Hollywood.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: Well, I want you to know I'm kidding and I
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: don't want you to invite me to things because I
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: don't want to go anywhere. I was just joking. Okay.
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: Because don't invite me. Now I am going to invite you.
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: Now I fear you're going to invite me and I'm
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: going to feel obligated and I don't want to. So yeah,
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: let's not.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: Or since you do like music, if I ever get
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: invited to something else, I will just throw it out there.
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: Here's what I will do.
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: And I will let you decide.
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: We had a good time at Duran Duran a couple
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: of years ago.
- 1:39:29Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: If you decide to go to Jennifer Lopez in Vegas,
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: I'll come.
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: Done.
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: Done. That'll be a date night for us. A night
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: in Las Vegas with J-Lo.
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: I'll do that. All right.
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: We're going to make it happen.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: If it happens.
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: We can make it happen.
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: Okay. But if you want Brandi and Julie, I understand.
- 1:39:48Speaker 2: So listen.
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: No, that's fine.
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: Listen, they are going to be in Minneapolis for a month.
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: Oh, good.
- 1:39:53Speaker 2: And I think that's the month when she's performing. We're
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: going to make it happen.
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: We're going to get on the jet suites or something.
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: Or we might drive.
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: Out to Vegas? The two of us? Oh, my God.
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: Don't you dare.
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: I think we should keep it simple. I think we
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: should get our own way there.
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: Yeah. That's how you do it.
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: I think we should meet, have a cute dinner.
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: See you there.
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: See you there.
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: All right. Yeah.
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: And then people are going to start the rumors. Don't worry.
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: He doesn't want anything to do with me. He's like,
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: I'll never forget that one time when we were about
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: to get on a plane together during the Chelsea Lately days. Right.
- 1:40:24Speaker 2: And I go, oh, my God. We're just talking, chatting.
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: And then I go, wait, where's your seat? And it
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: was like, you know, whatever, 17A. I'm like, I'm 17B.
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: And Chris had an iPad. He shuts the iPad. He goes, well,
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: I guess I won't be needing this. Because I was
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: just going to talk the whole time. Yeah.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: And then we shared a can of Pringles. They give
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: us free Pringles because they recognize us from Chelsea Lely.
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: So if you people don't think show business pays off,
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: you're wrong. We got free Pringles on that flight.
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: Oh, my God. The best.
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: Thank you so much. And everybody, you go to HeatherMcDonald.net
