- 4:01Speaker 1: ha ha.
- 4:06Speaker 8: Alrighty, welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Today.
- 4:11Speaker 8: What is today?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Today after Saint Patrick's Day?
- 4:14Speaker 8: It's the day after Saint Patrick's Day, also known as
- 4:16Speaker 8: March eighteenth. We are here live from HQ trace snips
- 4:22Speaker 8: and early. What time is it eleven? Rowan, you got
- 4:26Speaker 8: a little extra froth on your black coffee Nitro cold

- 4:34Speaker 8: anything blacker than that.
- 4:35Speaker 6: That's the Travis Christrana crossover with Starbucks.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I split the s in.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Starbucks meets Starbucks Cold Broo.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I split the mermaids titties. That's what you gotta do.
- 4:48Speaker 6: Can I ask, do you guys I have such a
- 4:51Speaker 6: bad thing where.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I know what you're gonna say, Do you guys jerk
- 4:54Speaker 1: off to the mermaid on the Starbucks cup?
- 4:57Speaker 6: God damn it? How did you know? No?
- 5:01Speaker 1: What is it bad thing or what?
- 5:02Speaker 6: Well? When you say it's March eighteenth, I know my
- 5:05Speaker 6: billing cycle for my credit cards ends on like the
- 5:07Speaker 6: twenty fourth or whatever reason. Yeah, and I want time
- 5:12Speaker 6: to elapse as quickly as possible so that I can
- 5:16Speaker 6: get to the end of my billing month and have
- 5:18Speaker 6: my bills be as low as possible. I see. So that,
- 5:21Speaker 6: just to me means that I'm allowing money to be
- 5:26Speaker 6: something that wants me to accelerate time in my life.
- 5:30Speaker 6: That's bad.
- 5:30Speaker 8: That's terrible, that's really bad.
- 5:33Speaker 6: That's my mentality. I'm like, I'm already at this amount,
- 5:36Speaker 6: Like you gotta stop. I don't want to go any
- 5:38Speaker 6: higher on that number. The higher it gets, you know,
- 5:42Speaker 6: the more fucked I'll be. So let's just if only
- 5:44Speaker 6: I could skip the next week.
- 5:46Speaker 8: You gotta stop blowing your loading load too much.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Start dressings today again.
- 5:50Speaker 8: That it resets the twenty fourth fourth thing, So what
- 5:53Speaker 8: is the twenty fifth You go out, you get a
- 5:55Speaker 8: little crazy, a little blow.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm buying credit I'm buying blow with credit cards.
- 6:01Speaker 6: Maybe a drug dealer has a stripe account, he's very
- 6:04Speaker 6: above board, files his taxes. Do a little blow in
- 6:10Speaker 6: the back of the car.
- 6:12Speaker 1: That's your Everybody else to be on drugs because you're
- 6:15Speaker 1: bron you're.
- 6:16Speaker 8: Literally actively doing drugs right now.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Everyone else to be on drugs, I'm not. I never
- 6:23Speaker 1: want everybody to be like dragged down with you.
- 6:26Speaker 8: There's never been an episode ever where I've ever been
- 6:28Speaker 8: on drugs, and I'm happy to be.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I never will be all through the mud with you.
- 6:33Speaker 8: Keep on, I'm on drugs.
- 6:36Speaker 1: They're actively doing. You don't want to be alone at
- 6:39Speaker 1: the bottom.
- 6:40Speaker 8: You don't want to be alone. It is clear, like
- 6:43Speaker 8: I was thinking about it, because I was like, Roan's
- 6:45Speaker 8: been hitting the pen stiller like way more often recently
- 6:48Speaker 8: than usually don't. And I think it's because I think
- 6:51Speaker 8: he's trying to I think he's trying to blow his
- 6:53Speaker 8: load before he's got Francis and Harry Junior running around
- 6:58Speaker 8: because he knows he's not going to be able to
- 6:59Speaker 8: be hitting hitting the Benjamin.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Bro, I'm going to teach them right away that it's
- 7:03Speaker 1: legal in New York.
- 7:05Speaker 6: Why don't you get him a copy of your book
- 7:07Speaker 6: that you're fifty pages into and we'll never get any
- 7:09Speaker 6: farther along.
- 7:10Speaker 8: WHOA, that's so negative.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Air Ball.
- 7:13Speaker 6: With the way you play video games, if you read
- 7:15Speaker 6: a page a night, I'll be shocked.
- 7:18Speaker 8: I actually didn't play video games last night.
- 7:21Speaker 6: Why don't you read that book for video games and
- 7:23Speaker 6: not the jewel?
- 7:24Speaker 8: I didn't want to quit video games?
- 7:26Speaker 1: Are there only wholesome thing in his life?
- 7:28Speaker 6: What if you applied half the amount of time that
- 7:31Speaker 6: you play video games too? I was going to say.
- 7:36Speaker 6: I was gonna say, picking up the cello or or
- 7:40Speaker 6: some some pursuit anything you could master it.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Played the guitar like Bob Dylan in the five years
- 7:48Speaker 1: or whatever it took to film that movie.
- 7:50Speaker 8: And I'm better at call of duty than Timothy Shall
- 7:52Speaker 8: I ever will be.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I don't think you are, Bro. I think if he
- 7:55Speaker 1: took the five years and method acted to be you,
- 7:58Speaker 1: he'd be, it'd be like ranked into the single digits.
- 8:02Speaker 8: T you don't even know. I do know, you genuinely
- 8:06Speaker 8: have no idea how talented I am.
- 8:08Speaker 6: Do you think did you ever see that clip of
- 8:10Speaker 6: Timothy shallow May in the car with Kendrick Lamar where
- 8:13Speaker 6: he's like rapping old isn't that recent deep cut songs? Yes?
- 8:19Speaker 8: I don't think I saw. I don't think I ever
- 8:20Speaker 8: watched the full video, but I know what you're talking about.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Do you think that Timothy Shallo May knew that that
- 8:26Speaker 6: sort of interview or whatever that video was was coming
- 8:30Speaker 6: and he just went and memorized the whole bunch of
- 8:34Speaker 6: really deep cut Kendrick le mar songs? Yes, a to
- 8:37Speaker 6: put that forward? Or has he actually been that big
- 8:41Speaker 6: of a Kendrick le Mar fan.
- 8:42Speaker 8: I could see him being a big Kendrick la Mar
- 8:44Speaker 8: fan just because he's not that much older than me,
- 8:48Speaker 8: I guess, and Kendrick Lamar.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Was The fuck does that have to do with it?
- 8:52Speaker 8: Because I was a big Kendrick Lamar fan, like I know,
- 8:55Speaker 8: like Kendri Klamarer.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I don't think it has anything to do with your age.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Kendrick Lamar is like thirty eight.
- 9:00Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 9:01Speaker 8: It doesn't matter how big, how old Kendrick Lamar is.
- 9:04Speaker 8: It matters when he was very like when Mad City
- 9:06Speaker 8: came out, Timothy sell May was probably in what high school? College?
- 9:11Speaker 6: Yeah? You high school kids did listen to a lot
- 9:13Speaker 6: of music.
- 9:15Speaker 8: Okay, never mind, Wait, what would you guys prefer? I
- 9:18Speaker 8: just don't reply to the question.
- 9:21Speaker 6: Wait, I'm adding, what was a riff?
- 9:23Speaker 8: A riff?
- 9:24Speaker 6: Yeah, that was a strike.
- 9:28Speaker 1: That was an attack, strike back, counter strike.
- 9:31Speaker 8: I'm not in the mood to argue right now. I'm
- 9:32Speaker 8: just in the mood to get along, have fun.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Mm hmm, I'll go kumbay. I mean I took, I took.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Yeah, you two did come at each other's throws about
- 9:40Speaker 6: the drug problems that you share.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I don't have a drug problem, accepted mine.
- 9:46Speaker 6: He didn't pick the pennant back up until he saw
- 9:49Speaker 6: that you had fucking become mister Cheachen and Chong and uh.
- 9:54Speaker 6: If I'm honest with you, I've seen what's happened to you,
- 9:57Speaker 6: and I've actually gone the other direction. I've been peeling back.
- 10:00Speaker 8: Oh interesting, what's happening drinking?
- 10:03Speaker 6: No, I've been drinking, funny, I do drink a lot
- 10:06Speaker 6: I'm drinking a lot, to the degree that my voice
- 10:08Speaker 6: is hoarse. I talked about that.
- 10:11Speaker 8: You probably don't even remember, though, because you were fucking
- 10:13Speaker 8: hammered when you talked about it.
- 10:14Speaker 6: Yeah, listen, I'm proud of my drinking.
- 10:16Speaker 1: That's actually fucking rum in that cup, a tall cup
- 10:20Speaker 1: of ice.
- 10:21Speaker 8: You just get a long ice long Island ice tea
- 10:23Speaker 8: right now, just fucking ship face times at eleven am
- 10:28Speaker 8: drunk right now.
- 10:29Speaker 6: You'd like that, wouldn't you like to say the name
- 10:37Speaker 6: of that country singer Willie Nelson, But I couldn't think
- 10:40Speaker 6: of it the biggest Snoop Dogg.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah, fucking cheek over here.
- 10:46Speaker 8: I was just listening to some Willie on the way.
- 10:49Speaker 6: You were always on my mind.
- 10:52Speaker 8: I was listening to a little uh little Luke and
- 10:56Speaker 8: Baugh Texas. You know that one.
- 10:58Speaker 1: No, really, I'm more of a Glenn Campbell guy.
- 11:00Speaker 8: Lukan Bought Texas is a phenomenal song.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I'm more of a gal that Glenn Campbell.
- 11:06Speaker 8: Out in Luke in Boughtexas. Ain't nobody feeling no pain.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I'm more a Galveston, no gal. I'm so afraid of dying.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Glenn Campbell gave it to us straight bro. He was
- 11:22Speaker 1: just like, I'm terrified of death. The fucking a wild lyric.
- 11:28Speaker 1: But back to Kendrick Lamar, I haven't been able to
- 11:31Speaker 1: listen to him since he came at our comedian brother,
- 11:34Speaker 1: Andrew Schultz. The war on comedy is fucking sickening.
- 11:39Speaker 6: Yeah, that was a little bit of a virtue signaling
- 11:42Speaker 6: lyric I thought.
- 11:44Speaker 1: By Kendrick Lamar. Yeah, you don't come at a fucking
- 11:47Speaker 1: comic like that, because then it's war with all of
- 11:50Speaker 1: the regard.
- 11:51Speaker 8: Choice coming at You're coming out of a trained assassin.
- 11:53Speaker 6: I mean, I think that rapper being like, don't let
- 11:57Speaker 6: a white comedian joke about black woman. You know, I agree.
- 12:02Speaker 6: I would say I don't think rappers should be doing
- 12:06Speaker 6: that because I'm shirt issue with a lot of Kendrick
- 12:11Speaker 6: Lamar's lyrics over the years. If we want to go
- 12:14Speaker 6: the woke police route.
- 12:16Speaker 8: Yeah, I think, uh, like, we should just get Kendrick
- 12:22Speaker 8: on kil Tony squash this whole thing.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Just solve it in one minute. Yeah, see his minute,
- 12:28Speaker 1: just see if he has it. Yeah, can he actually compete?
- 12:30Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 12:31Speaker 6: I'm so hot right now. I'm so fucking hot.
- 12:34Speaker 8: You're covered in a fucking I'll Paca.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It was thirty four degrees this morning. It was like
- 12:40Speaker 1: the widest birth of temper. It's thirty four going up
- 12:43Speaker 1: to sixty one today.
- 12:45Speaker 6: What are we in the desert?
- 12:46Speaker 1: It doesn't make any fucking sense. There was forty one
- 12:49Speaker 1: when I left. I'm on the temperature.
- 12:52Speaker 8: I'm sure you are.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm on the temperature's ass, Yeah, heating up on the temperature.
- 12:57Speaker 6: No, I just look like a dope.
- 12:58Speaker 1: What brand is that undershirt?
- 13:01Speaker 6: The same one I wore? I would like Kennedy's.
- 13:04Speaker 8: Are those Corduroys Uniclow by any chance?
- 13:06Speaker 6: Nom?
- 13:09Speaker 8: So?
- 13:09Speaker 1: I think he's buying Unique Low.
- 13:11Speaker 8: I don't know good brand.
- 13:12Speaker 1: He's in credit card dead. He doesn't fucking shop at
- 13:15Speaker 1: Unique Low.
- 13:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 13:17Speaker 6: If I were shopping at Unique though, I probably want
- 13:19Speaker 6: time to slow down, because I'd be enjoying my life.
- 13:22Speaker 6: You know one thing that about being suicidal that's actually
- 13:26Speaker 6: nice is that when you think about how much you
- 13:28Speaker 6: should be putting away for your four oh one K,
- 13:31Speaker 6: you just don't, right because you're like, well, I'm never
- 13:34Speaker 6: going to get to fifty nine anyway to access this,
- 13:37Speaker 6: so I can just have all my money now.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like the fable of Jacob and Esau.
- 13:44Speaker 6: I wish I knew fables because they end up on
- 13:46Speaker 6: the New York Times crossword questions quite often.
- 13:49Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm not a big fable guy either.
- 13:51Speaker 6: What is the fable of Jacob and Esaw?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Was Jacob's twins or twin brothers? It was a biblical story.
- 13:57Speaker 8: Yeah, but.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Sneaky Jacob tricked Esau out of his uh, his inheritance?
- 14:04Speaker 8: Is that right? Oh ship?
- 14:05Speaker 6: How did he know that? Like?
- 14:07Speaker 1: It was basically, yeah.
- 14:09Speaker 6: You cook.
- 14:11Speaker 1: He was just a sneaky bastard.
- 14:13Speaker 6: Jacob went on a podcast. Yeah, you know, a lot
- 14:17Speaker 6: of people don't know that.
- 14:17Speaker 8: But speaking of Brett's, did you guys watch White Lotus?
- 14:20Speaker 6: Yes, not the newest episode. Please don't no spoilers. No spoilers.
- 14:25Speaker 1: For a seconds.
- 14:26Speaker 8: No, I'm joking, Francis that you pop out?
- 14:29Speaker 1: No pop out, I'm not coming back.
- 14:31Speaker 8: You wait in the hall for a little bit.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Honestly, the Patrick Schwarzenegger character should have been you.
- 14:37Speaker 6: I know, that is the clearest role I've seen where
- 14:43Speaker 6: I thought I would actually, you know, I'm sure a
- 14:45Speaker 6: lot of actors feel this way, but I thought I
- 14:47Speaker 6: would have been able to play that role pretty pretty well.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I agree, you have dominated that role. Yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 1: they need to throw you on a lotus because there
- 14:57Speaker 1: have been There was a character season one that was like,
- 14:59Speaker 1: I guess a little similar to you, but you would
- 15:01Speaker 1: have played the role extremely differently the Dario's.
- 15:05Speaker 8: I mean, I could see you legitimately getting casted in
- 15:08Speaker 8: that show like it's not because it's not a show
- 15:10Speaker 8: where they really cast a list celebrities.
- 15:12Speaker 6: Yeah, we say that and then you're like, oh, who
- 15:14Speaker 6: did they have for the role. Oh, Patrick Schwarzenegger. Yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 6: unfortunately Francis de Niro didn't get the role.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Why don't you just change your name, Hollywood, change your
- 15:27Speaker 1: name to like Kudrow.
- 15:28Speaker 8: Yeah, Cunis, Frank Frank Pino, Frances Cunis.
- 15:38Speaker 6: I took my mother's name.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Oh man, I saw me Lacunison Ashton Kutcher in Chicago.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I couldn't believe it.
- 15:49Speaker 6: You told us that story. Where did you see them?
- 15:51Speaker 6: At a food place?
- 15:52Speaker 8: I could see.
- 15:55Speaker 1: They had a son that was just your age.
- 15:58Speaker 8: That's so they had toddlers, Melakunis and they have a son.
- 16:03Speaker 6: That's your age. I thought we were I thought we
- 16:08Speaker 6: had to wave the white flag of truce. I thought
- 16:12Speaker 6: you brought that out. You want to turn this into
- 16:14Speaker 6: a fucking.
- 16:15Speaker 1: You want to join Kendrick Lamar side against those comedians.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Lopping drone strikes at each other all day, fine by me.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Kendrick Lamar's famous or his favorite battle rapper was a
- 16:25Speaker 1: dude Tech nine, who we always talked about Tech nine. No, No,
- 16:28Speaker 1: he's a different Tech nine, a guy from Philly who
- 16:31Speaker 1: wound up.
- 16:31Speaker 8: No, I think I know Tech nine the battle rapper. Huh,
- 16:34Speaker 8: I said, I think I know Tech nine the battle rapper.
- 16:35Speaker 1: What's a line of his?
- 16:37Speaker 8: I don't know who his fucking lines?
- 16:38Speaker 1: Okay, Well he killed himself because he was a pedophile, damn.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And that was Kendrick Lamar's favorite.
- 16:44Speaker 6: He didn't even know that there's a procedure now.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah, And if you don't get that one, listened to
- 16:50Speaker 1: episode whatever, the last.
- 16:52Speaker 6: Two, episode eighty three. He didn't even it. Must have
- 16:56Speaker 6: done it before the medicine had caught up.
- 16:59Speaker 8: So so I've been getting I've been getting weirdly into
- 17:06Speaker 8: the call of duty, pro league, to the point.
- 17:11Speaker 1: That I saw you tweeting about it.
- 17:12Speaker 8: It is weird to the point that, like I keep
- 17:15Speaker 8: almost accidentally bringing it up in conversation, like it's football.
- 17:19Speaker 6: Yeah, well I've been hearing you do this.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you said it yesterday, you talked to Green Green
- 17:23Speaker 1: Wave Greenwall. Yeah.
- 17:25Speaker 8: But I got like like like I was like, I
- 17:29Speaker 8: would be in the green room this weekend in Vancouver,
- 17:30Speaker 8: and I'd have the urge to be like, what do
- 17:32Speaker 8: you guys think Optic is gonna do about Kenny situation?
- 17:35Speaker 1: You're just ahead of your time, Like this is how
- 17:37Speaker 1: we're going to be talking.
- 17:39Speaker 8: It's pretty good.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Did you see the Dodgers against the Giants? Yeah, it's
- 17:42Speaker 1: gonna be Optic against Face.
- 17:44Speaker 8: Yeah, it's pretty sick. Big news. They just dropped They
- 17:48Speaker 8: dropped Kenny days before the ring ceremony.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Okay, so is this teams professional esports teams? Yes, that
- 17:55Speaker 6: are playing Call of Duty as that do those esports
- 17:58Speaker 6: teams play multiple games?
- 18:01Speaker 4: Uh?
- 18:01Speaker 8: No, but like each team has like so Optic has
- 18:04Speaker 8: like a professional Halo team too.
- 18:07Speaker 6: I see.
- 18:07Speaker 1: It's funny how it's become cool, guys, because when sports started.
- 18:12Speaker 8: This isn't cool, guys, definitely not. No, this is like, uh,
- 18:16Speaker 8: this is like what you'd imagine. Yeah, that's like the
- 18:20Speaker 8: cool guys are like the streamers who like are like
- 18:23Speaker 8: some of that some of them are like retired pros
- 18:26Speaker 8: who now like drive like Lamborghini's and ship. The guys
- 18:29Speaker 8: that are actually on the teams are not cool. They're
- 18:31Speaker 8: not the cool guy.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Because you can't be you, like, you can't have like
- 18:35Speaker 1: the broccoli haircut and like, yeah, if you're like if
- 18:39Speaker 1: you're nice at video games, these guys a time.
- 18:42Speaker 8: Most of them are like, yeah, it is funny. It's
- 18:47Speaker 8: like they like they all like lose a ship ton
- 18:50Speaker 8: of weight after they retire, like they're fucking linebackers like
- 18:55Speaker 8: Taylor Lawan. I know, like I'm not even kidding, Like
- 18:58Speaker 8: the best pros in the world. After they retire, they
- 19:00Speaker 8: all get like jacked and lose like seventy pounds.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Because if they have enough time to focus on video games.
- 19:05Speaker 6: Yeah, hey green Flash, tell us, tell us your secrets
- 19:08Speaker 6: all your weight loss. I don't know, after all those years,
- 19:10Speaker 6: I finally stood up. Yeah, finally got out of the chair.
- 19:16Speaker 8: And the career span is like seventh They like start,
- 19:20Speaker 8: they go pro and they're like sixteen, and they retire
- 19:23Speaker 8: when they're like twenty five.
- 19:24Speaker 1: That's got to be low key depressing.
- 19:26Speaker 8: They're like twenty five and they'll be they'll be videos,
- 19:28Speaker 8: and they'll be like I've just been like like I know,
- 19:30Speaker 8: it's like getting close to that. I'm getting close to
- 19:32Speaker 8: that age where like I can't really compete anymore the.
- 19:34Speaker 6: Other Formula one racers.
- 19:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like I mean NFL. The average NFL careers
- 19:40Speaker 1: like two point six years or something. So guys come
- 19:42Speaker 1: to the league at twenty one, twenty two and they
- 19:43Speaker 1: have to most of them have to find something else
- 19:45Speaker 1: to do by the time they're twenty five.
- 19:47Speaker 8: Yeah, what would what would you what would be your
- 19:49Speaker 8: go to? Like what would you try to do if
- 19:52Speaker 8: you were in the NFL for two years? And you
- 19:54Speaker 8: say you made, like I buy a bus, Well, like
- 19:57Speaker 8: how much money would you make if you were in
- 19:59Speaker 8: the NFL for two year? It's like minimum couple like
- 20:01Speaker 8: a million?
- 20:02Speaker 1: A million?
- 20:03Speaker 6: Yeah, a million dollars.
- 20:05Speaker 1: You made a million dollars, But you don't have a
- 20:07Speaker 1: million dollars because you bought a chain. Obviously, well you
- 20:11Speaker 1: want a fucking gaudy chain.
- 20:15Speaker 6: Multiple dynastics. Cling on sample sales, he probably would have
- 20:20Speaker 6: spent more than the guy who bought the chain.
- 20:24Speaker 1: It's got to be kind of gratifying. You know that
- 20:26Speaker 1: Kanye Lyric where he's like, you know, white people get money,
- 20:29Speaker 1: don't spend it.
- 20:30Speaker 12: Yeah, you're kind.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Of like spitting in the face of that lyric. It's like, no,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I'm just spending differently at the same rate I would.
- 20:39Speaker 6: I always spit in the face of Kanye West, especially
- 20:43Speaker 6: since he started coming after Harry.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Your age Jews.
- 20:48Speaker 8: Now, actually, I don't think our agent is Jewish.
- 20:51Speaker 1: No, which explains a lot about your careers, which indicative.
- 21:00Speaker 6: Of why here he's going to play Vancouver for very
- 21:05Speaker 6: little money.
- 21:05Speaker 8: That's probably why you didn't get with the white lotus role. Yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 8: he's not my you had a jew up top, he's.
- 21:11Speaker 6: Not my TV agent.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Jew up top.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Hey. I like that question though, and I'm not just
- 21:21Speaker 6: saying this should give the white answer. If I had
- 21:24Speaker 6: a million dollars, well, let's say seven hundred thousand, and
- 21:28Speaker 6: I were injury rolled out of the NFL at twenty four,
- 21:34Speaker 6: twenty five five.
- 21:36Speaker 8: First of all five, he's lucky.
- 21:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I know, but you said whatever two and a
- 21:39Speaker 6: half years right, So uh, I know that. I know
- 21:44Speaker 6: that if you get injured and you can't play, they
- 21:46Speaker 6: give you an injury settlement that makes sense and not
- 21:49Speaker 6: maybe not everyone, but I know a buddy of mine
- 21:52Speaker 6: who who's actually an incredible lacrosse Player's name is will Yateman.
- 21:57Speaker 6: He played at Maryland for like all four years. But
- 22:00Speaker 6: he was huge, Yeah, and so and he was a
- 22:03Speaker 6: really good athlete and he ended up going and playing
- 22:06Speaker 6: played for the Patriots really yeah, and he was on
- 22:10Speaker 6: special teams and he got some some runs. I don't
- 22:13Speaker 6: think he was just a practice team player. But he
- 22:15Speaker 6: was in the league for a couple of years maybe,
- 22:17Speaker 6: and then he and then he got injured and he
- 22:19Speaker 6: had an injury settlement. I don't know what it was.
- 22:22Speaker 6: It might not have been a ton, but they kind.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Of pay that. I wonder does the team pay it,
- 22:27Speaker 1: doesn't insurance pay it.
- 22:28Speaker 6: Maybe it's the league even or like there's some thing
- 22:32Speaker 6: in the players union that, yeah, you get injured and
- 22:35Speaker 6: you can't do it anymore, we'll like give you a
- 22:37Speaker 6: payout or something.
- 22:38Speaker 8: It probably is something like that if I yes, because
- 22:41Speaker 8: it would make sense. I mean, you're it is kind
- 22:42Speaker 8: of a risk violent sport. Yeah, you're playing, and you're
- 22:45Speaker 8: playing a sport where I always I always think about that,
- 22:48Speaker 8: like in the NFL, like when you're when they're walking
- 22:51Speaker 8: out of the tunnel, to like go into a game
- 22:54Speaker 8: like odds are one of those players will not play
- 22:58Speaker 8: the rest of the season. Like do you think they
- 23:00Speaker 8: think about that when they're running out, like this could
- 23:02Speaker 8: be it my care today?
- 23:05Speaker 1: You can't think about that, Like.
- 23:06Speaker 8: I mean, how many how many season ending injuries are
- 23:09Speaker 8: there per game? My guess is that, genuinely, it's got
- 23:12Speaker 8: to be like one per game.
- 23:13Speaker 6: This is my theory. It's that so many of them
- 23:17Speaker 6: are already dealing with like nagging things, yeah, that they're
- 23:22Speaker 6: not thinking about the career ender or the season ender.
- 23:27Speaker 6: Yeah right, They're just accustomed to like, you know, I
- 23:31Speaker 6: had to split my finger or tape my hand up,
- 23:33Speaker 6: or yeah I have a mild calf strain, this that,
- 23:36Speaker 6: and like I'm I've taken a bunch of fucking pain killers.
- 23:41Speaker 6: I'm ready to run through glass. I can't feel any
- 23:44Speaker 6: part of my body. Yeah, I've taken a bunch of
- 23:46Speaker 6: pre workout and I'm ready to go rip someone's face off. Yeah.
- 23:50Speaker 6: And then in that mentality, there's no way you're thinking
- 23:54Speaker 6: about yeah until four I listen.
- 23:56Speaker 1: To the game, But you can't think about as a
- 23:58Speaker 1: guy who's watched probably five hundred those games in my life. Yeah,
- 24:01Speaker 1: you can't be thinking about getting hurt or any possibility
- 24:05Speaker 1: of injury, even if you're recovering, because you just have
- 24:07Speaker 1: to be thinking about the play. If you're like hesitant
- 24:10Speaker 1: for a half second, that's like the margin of difference
- 24:12Speaker 1: in speeds between like the fastest guys.
- 24:14Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess you just got to You gotta trust
- 24:16Speaker 8: your QB.
- 24:16Speaker 1: You gotta trust Jay Hurts.
- 24:18Speaker 8: Trust your QB is not going to be throwing hospital balls.
- 24:20Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, but I fortunately for Jalen Hurts, that's a specialty.
- 24:25Speaker 1: You don't even start the slander of Jalen Hurts because
- 24:28Speaker 1: I'll have Philly when you're a helmet though, Oh wallow
- 24:31Speaker 1: and Gilly through that door.
- 24:32Speaker 8: And it is crazy that that that Hurts got one
- 24:35Speaker 8: ring and people are trying to add him into like
- 24:37Speaker 8: the burrow fucking Josh Allen Mahomes conversation.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Why are you talking about these guys.
- 24:41Speaker 8: Who we're trying to compare him to Lamar Lamars zero ring.
- 24:44Speaker 8: Lamar is the greatest NFL player of all time.
- 24:47Speaker 1: You're lack of knowledge.
- 24:49Speaker 8: Is right next to Drake May.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Of course, your lack of knowledge is a blade on
- 24:53Speaker 1: your record as like a pretty intelligent person.
- 24:56Speaker 6: I would go back to school intelligence what I was
- 24:58Speaker 6: trying to get to. Yeah, and I don't mean that
- 25:01Speaker 6: as huh have it. Wherever I would go get a
- 25:05Speaker 6: I would go if I if I didn't have my
- 25:08Speaker 6: undergrad degree, I would go finish that, Yeah, and then
- 25:11Speaker 6: I would get a master's. Yeah, or try to go
- 25:14Speaker 6: to business school. I don't know, whatever I wanted to do.
- 25:19Speaker 8: You wouldn't try to get into like media or something.
- 25:24Speaker 6: Network is going to hire you a two and a
- 25:27Speaker 6: half year career. You have to be really good at media.
- 25:29Speaker 6: You know, Greg Olsen just got unseated, and he had
- 25:33Speaker 6: an illustrious NFL career and was incredibly good at the job.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Quarterback is just going to come along and take your
- 25:42Speaker 1: media job.
- 25:43Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I guess that job is. Statistically, it's way
- 25:47Speaker 8: harder to get than it is to get into the NFL.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Absolutely, I guess it is harder to do what we
- 25:52Speaker 1: do than be in the NFL.
- 25:53Speaker 11: Ye.
- 25:53Speaker 8: True, Holy shit, I didn't even think of press.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I got I got what you you could do. Maybe
- 25:58Speaker 1: Yale drama school. Ooh, I mean that's the best drama school.
- 26:04Speaker 6: I guess you, being like a professor, I think that
- 26:06Speaker 6: if you go into the NFL and you make the
- 26:08Speaker 6: NFL and you have your like, holy shit, I've made it.
- 26:12Speaker 6: I know that I would go in thinking I'm going
- 26:15Speaker 6: to have a ten year career. Yeah, yeah, of course,
- 26:17Speaker 6: and then at thirty four, I'll have a pension from
- 26:20Speaker 6: the NFL and I'll have saved my you know, only
- 26:26Speaker 6: spend my fucking endorsement money, save the salary, and you know,
- 26:32Speaker 6: then live off that and then after two and a
- 26:34Speaker 6: half years, you're out and you realize, okay, well I
- 26:39Speaker 6: need to stop making plans. Yeah, because so to that end,
- 26:45Speaker 6: I would say, like that's why school to me, would
- 26:47Speaker 6: would be something that just gives you more options.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I can't imagine going to B school though.
- 26:52Speaker 6: Business school would be but one that would give you
- 26:54Speaker 6: a lot of options.
- 26:55Speaker 1: It would, but it'd be so I mean, it'd be
- 26:57Speaker 1: probably pretty hard, I guess.
- 26:59Speaker 8: On a bright side, like with the nil contra.
- 27:02Speaker 6: Get in or to stay.
- 27:03Speaker 1: In, to get to stay in a guy who's made
- 27:07Speaker 1: who's been like an athlete his entire life.
- 27:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess, you know, I just know. Justin Tuck
- 27:14Speaker 6: went to Wharton.
- 27:15Speaker 1: So did Brandon Brooks, a former Eagle.
- 27:17Speaker 6: Went to Wharton. The Brickishaw Ferguson went to I think
- 27:20Speaker 6: Darden at UVA and yeah he's now in private wealth management.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I mean, those guys are probably making more money than
- 27:28Speaker 1: they made in the NFL, because if you combine your
- 27:30Speaker 1: connections from the NFL and the fact that you can
- 27:33Speaker 1: get through business school, you're probably a fucking beast.
- 27:36Speaker 6: I think that also if you were in the NFL,
- 27:39Speaker 6: like a banking job or whatever, or a trading job
- 27:43Speaker 6: where you have to entertain clients, being being you know,
- 27:47Speaker 6: a guy who can go out on a Tuesday and
- 27:49Speaker 6: Wednesday night to sauce up some some whatever some potential clients,
- 27:54Speaker 6: and it's probably.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Fun for a client to be like, oh, I got
- 27:57Speaker 1: I'm at the brickishaw Ferguson's table.
- 27:59Speaker 6: Yeah, and you're like yeah. In the AFC Championship round, boy,
- 28:02Speaker 6: I was lining up across from you know, so and
- 28:05Speaker 6: so and uh and my hands look at my hands, Yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 6: someone passed me the oysters. I can't get my mits
- 28:10Speaker 6: around all my fingers are backwards. Anyway, what do you
- 28:14Speaker 6: guys think about coming on board for five mil?
- 28:18Speaker 1: The dude Hunter Renfro was a receiver. He was on
- 28:22Speaker 1: Clemson won championships there and then was on the Raiders
- 28:25Speaker 1: for a couple of years, had a good season with
- 28:26Speaker 1: the Raiders, and I think that he was just like
- 28:28Speaker 1: he's like a real estate agent now or something.
- 28:31Speaker 6: There you go all those all those jobs like car salesman,
- 28:35Speaker 6: you know, real estate agent where you can like somehow
- 28:39Speaker 6: parlay the image you built even if you're not a
- 28:45Speaker 6: marquee player into selling something. I think is a is
- 28:49Speaker 6: a good thing to do.
- 28:49Speaker 8: Yeah, I think, uh, I was gonna say what I
- 28:52Speaker 8: was gonna say was I think it's probably good the
- 28:55Speaker 8: the nil contracts probably helped people in those situations now
- 28:58Speaker 8: because real estate. Think about it, most people that are
- 29:01Speaker 8: going to the NFL probably have some sort of NIL
- 29:05Speaker 8: deal where they're getting some sort of money. So it's
- 29:07Speaker 8: like you also can factor in that money.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and you can how to manage and spend your
- 29:11Speaker 1: money like earlier on then just when as soon as
- 29:14Speaker 1: you get to the league, that's the first money you
- 29:16Speaker 1: ever yet and you're like, I'm gonna buy my mom
- 29:18Speaker 1: a house.
- 29:18Speaker 8: Yeah exactly.
- 29:19Speaker 6: That's a great point. I think that now with the
- 29:22Speaker 6: nil money, it almost for a certain caliber of college
- 29:26Speaker 6: player incentivizes you to finish your degree.
- 29:30Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah, A ton of people do that.
- 29:34Speaker 6: And I think that that's because you're like whatever I'm making,
- 29:39Speaker 6: you know, roughly a rookie salary. Yeah, for another year
- 29:42Speaker 6: of college, I'll get my degree. I don't know if
- 29:45Speaker 6: anyone's thinking that far ahead, but.
- 29:47Speaker 8: I'm sure they are. I'm sure if you're not like
- 29:49Speaker 8: a fucking a top pick, like if you're not like
- 29:54Speaker 8: a if you're not like guaranteed to go in like
- 29:56Speaker 8: the first like two rounds, I'm sure you probably contemplate
- 30:00Speaker 8: saying in college and taking the nil money.
- 30:02Speaker 1: What do you think the streamers do after they graduate
- 30:05Speaker 1: from the or they retire.
- 30:07Speaker 8: Like the CDL guys. Yeah, that's what we were I
- 30:09Speaker 8: was talking about that with Mouk and Matt the other night.
- 30:12Speaker 8: We were wondering that Peters, Yeah, because we were saying,
- 30:15Speaker 8: I wonder how much those guys make, and then I
- 30:16Speaker 8: wonder how much what they do when they like, I know,
- 30:19Speaker 8: the it's I mean, it's the same as any sport
- 30:23Speaker 8: like that's not.
- 30:24Speaker 1: That'd be sick if they went to the NFL.
- 30:26Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, it's the same as like fucking like
- 30:29Speaker 8: lacrosse or soccer where it's like in America, like the
- 30:34Speaker 8: people that are okay don't make anything. The people that
- 30:37Speaker 8: are the top people make a shit ton of money,
- 30:39Speaker 8: and then when they retire, they make even more money
- 30:41Speaker 8: from streaming.
- 30:43Speaker 6: Oh they go into streaming.
- 30:44Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, most of them.
- 30:46Speaker 6: They become sort of they go solo.
- 30:49Speaker 8: Like like the Optic guys like Scump, Optic Stump, he's
- 30:53Speaker 8: like considered to be one of the best Call of
- 30:55Speaker 8: Duty players of all time and he retired probably two
- 30:58Speaker 8: years ago, and now he's making Jimmy's making millions of dollars.
- 31:03Speaker 6: So he retired because he knew he would make more
- 31:05Speaker 6: money going alone.
- 31:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 6: Why did he even stay in it that long? Because
- 31:10Speaker 6: it built his profile to compete? Why to compete for
- 31:12Speaker 6: that long? Yeah?
- 31:13Speaker 8: Because I think they're like obsessed with competing.
- 31:16Speaker 6: But can't he compete as a streamer?
- 31:19Speaker 8: Yeah, but you don't, like he wouldn't have like you
- 31:21Speaker 8: don't have the time because the amount that those guys practice,
- 31:24Speaker 8: they practiced for like eight hours a day, So then
- 31:27Speaker 8: you don't want to really go and stream right after that.
- 31:29Speaker 6: I guess my question would be, don't you practice for
- 31:32Speaker 6: eight hours a day? No? How many hours do you
- 31:35Speaker 6: you be honest?
- 31:36Speaker 8: How many hours do I played video games a day.
- 31:38Speaker 1: A week, a week, a day a day.
- 31:40Speaker 8: Well, because I don't play every day, right.
- 31:42Speaker 1: That's why I want to say a week, so we
- 31:44Speaker 1: can average it down to a day.
- 31:45Speaker 6: Okay, finn I don't.
- 31:45Speaker 8: Play every day, and like like I played this week
- 31:49Speaker 8: or like this past week. Let me think, like I played.
- 31:52Speaker 8: I didn't play at all during the week until I
- 31:54Speaker 8: got to Vancouver I played.
- 31:56Speaker 1: That can't be true.
- 31:57Speaker 8: It is because I was we were filming for the
- 32:00Speaker 8: I would have order stuff.
- 32:01Speaker 6: But don't you that's during the day. You play at
- 32:04Speaker 6: night though, right, But.
- 32:05Speaker 8: We were filming like until like a ten pm.
- 32:08Speaker 6: I know, but you don't. You get home and say
- 32:10Speaker 6: I want to You got home from your shows in
- 32:12Speaker 6: Vancouver and you wanted to play even though you had as.
- 32:15Speaker 8: A lot of factors like mook streams, Mondays and Thursdays.
- 32:18Speaker 8: So I don't play Mondays and Thursdays because you want
- 32:21Speaker 8: to have a full team. Yeah, So this week I played.
- 32:26Speaker 8: I played Friday for maybe two hours, tops, Saturday I
- 32:32Speaker 8: played for maybe an hour, and then Sunday I played
- 32:36Speaker 8: for probably four hours.
- 32:39Speaker 6: And that was the total video game.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Yeah, no, wonder you suck?
- 32:43Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, you're just not your numbers, aren't there?
- 32:46Speaker 8: No, not practicing early enough? Do uh?
- 32:50Speaker 1: So, like your parents have to like kind of let
- 32:52Speaker 1: you just play as much video games as possible from
- 32:55Speaker 1: the ages of twelve to sixteen. I don't want to
- 32:58Speaker 1: make it till not yours, but I'm saying, like, if
- 33:01Speaker 1: you want to make it to be a pro by sixteen,
- 33:03Speaker 1: you have to have put in like four years of like.
- 33:07Speaker 6: Yeah, but I think it's also like they know no
- 33:11Speaker 6: because there's not there's not a moment that it would
- 33:16Speaker 6: seem to me that every professional Call of Duty guy
- 33:22Speaker 6: on one of those teams just had a moment through
- 33:25Speaker 6: the early years of them playing as a kid where
- 33:29Speaker 6: their parents were just like I've given up. I've given
- 33:32Speaker 6: up on getting this kid to do their homework.
- 33:35Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 8: I mean, I'm sure that's the whole thing. But I
- 33:37Speaker 8: think it's also like I think in the age that
- 33:42Speaker 8: people go pro at, I think it's like they like you,
- 33:45Speaker 8: I think they have an idea like that people around
- 33:48Speaker 8: them are probably aware.
- 33:49Speaker 6: Like this guy's dude, though genuinely like Okay, so so
- 33:54Speaker 6: there's well, there's an inflection point where all of a sudden,
- 33:57Speaker 6: your fourteen year old son present sense their PayPal account
- 34:02Speaker 6: and it has like forty five thousand dollars in it
- 34:05Speaker 6: from streaming or whatever, where the parents are like, okay,
- 34:10Speaker 6: you know what you knew and we didn't go forth
- 34:13Speaker 6: and prosper. But up to that point, it's either parents
- 34:18Speaker 6: who just do not give a fuck. I can't imagine
- 34:22Speaker 6: that there are a lot of parents who are so
- 34:24Speaker 6: keyed in to the realm of video games as to
- 34:30Speaker 6: be aware that their son or their daughter is a
- 34:32Speaker 6: prodigy and to you know, basically be like, I'm going
- 34:38Speaker 6: to be your agent and I'm taking ten percent. We
- 34:41Speaker 6: have an incoming call from you know, red dead redemption.
- 34:45Speaker 6: Would you consider picking up the stick for that.
- 34:47Speaker 8: Like competitive red tend redemption.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:50Speaker 6: This new PlayStation controller, I know it doesn't have the
- 34:53Speaker 6: hand cooling fan, but they're coming out of Japan and
- 34:55Speaker 6: they're offering us ten thousand for you to just take
- 34:58Speaker 6: a picture with it. You don't even have to use.
- 34:59Speaker 8: It is not something you'd want. You want hand heating.
- 35:02Speaker 6: You can do what Andy Roddick did and actually tape
- 35:04Speaker 6: the controller and pretend like it's the new Babylon racket,
- 35:07Speaker 6: when in fact it's it's the old one that he's
- 35:10Speaker 6: more comfortable with.
- 35:12Speaker 8: You know, Yeah, I don't. I really don't know. I
- 35:14Speaker 8: really don't know. But I think, like, I think the
- 35:17Speaker 8: gap between professional call of duty players and someone like
- 35:21Speaker 8: me is so insanely large, and like the thing with
- 35:26Speaker 8: the thing that's interesting about video games is at verse,
- 35:28Speaker 8: like professional sports is like if Derrick Henry was like,
- 35:36Speaker 8: there's no situation, we're out of nowhere, I would be
- 35:38Speaker 8: playing against Derek Henry in football, you know what I mean? No,
- 35:42Speaker 8: But then but there's a situation where, like a professional
- 35:45Speaker 8: call of duty player could get into a lobby with
- 35:47Speaker 8: a bunch of people that suck and like, say, they're
- 35:49Speaker 8: not even they don't like it's a kid. It's a
- 35:51Speaker 8: seventeen year old kid doesn't even know he's pro yet.
- 35:53Speaker 1: So this sounds more like golf. I feel like golf,
- 35:55Speaker 1: you could wind up playing against like a pro. It
- 35:58Speaker 1: could be some kind of pro am shit.
- 35:59Speaker 6: Or yeah, invitationals. Are there scouts? Serious question? I don't
- 36:04Speaker 6: know about scouts video games. Given the size of the
- 36:12Speaker 6: sports world, I would assume that a lot of the
- 36:17Speaker 6: traditional ways in of true professional sports apply there too.
- 36:24Speaker 6: But there's like recruiters and there are guys that work
- 36:28Speaker 6: for you know what what what are the major video
- 36:31Speaker 6: game companies? Who makes Call of Duty?
- 36:35Speaker 8: It's like Activision, tray Arc.
- 36:38Speaker 6: Yeah, so like Activision probably has some guy or a
- 36:42Speaker 6: team of guys.
- 36:43Speaker 8: It wouldn't be Activision directly. It would be like the teams.
- 36:47Speaker 6: Dude, why wouldn't it stand to reach I.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Like, say, an NFL would have scouts as opposed to
- 36:53Speaker 1: the Seattle Seahawks.
- 36:54Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, but why wouldn't wouldn't it stand a reason
- 36:56Speaker 6: that Activision would want to know who the upcoming young
- 37:01Speaker 6: stars could be?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Don't they rank it all?
- 37:04Speaker 8: It's like, yeah, I mean there's ranked play, so it's
- 37:07Speaker 8: like if you're like, you could like I, if I
- 37:09Speaker 8: played hard enough and I was good enough, I could
- 37:11Speaker 8: get into the top two fifty of ranked which is
- 37:15Speaker 8: visible for anyone to see, so obviously like out of nowhere,
- 37:18Speaker 8: if there was some dude who was the fifth top
- 37:21Speaker 8: ranked player in the world and wasn't cheating, you'd probably
- 37:25Speaker 8: be like, teams would probably be like, who the fuck
- 37:26Speaker 8: is this guy?
- 37:27Speaker 1: Basically my question is how do I get the Rown
- 37:30Speaker 1: Twins by like twelve years old?
- 37:32Speaker 8: You got to get them started, Earl.
- 37:34Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, is it a system because NFL
- 37:37Speaker 1: that's that ship is saled? Look at my legs.
- 37:39Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, look like I've thought about it before,
- 37:42Speaker 8: and is there some Is there any resentment towards my
- 37:45Speaker 8: parents a little bit?
- 37:45Speaker 1: Yeah? That's what I mean. How can I undo the
- 37:48Speaker 1: sins of your parents?
- 37:49Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 37:49Speaker 1: So my children can become.
- 37:51Speaker 8: Yeah, because look like I was probably the best at
- 37:55Speaker 8: any call of dutyo I've ever been was probably Modern
- 37:57Speaker 8: Warfare three, and that was when I was probably like twelve, And.
- 38:03Speaker 1: So now him never doing his homework makes way more sense,
- 38:07Speaker 1: you know.
- 38:07Speaker 13: But it's such a it's such a sophie's choice, though,
- 38:11Speaker 13: because if you don't do your homework, you're gonna end
- 38:15Speaker 13: up in most cases with fewer options.
- 38:20Speaker 8: Let's just say, like, let's put it this way that
- 38:22Speaker 8: there's like how hard it is to be on the NFL.
- 38:24Speaker 8: Like there's twelve teams in the CDL and they all
- 38:28Speaker 8: have four players on them. It's nearly impossible to be
- 38:31Speaker 8: on one of those.
- 38:32Speaker 6: Right, Yes, So if you're like I'm not, we're not
- 38:35Speaker 6: gonna make our kid. We're gonna be fine with our
- 38:36Speaker 6: kid getting d's and going to school two days a week.
- 38:40Speaker 8: It's a terrible idea.
- 38:41Speaker 6: It's like being the parent of a like a skier.
- 38:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 38:45Speaker 6: Like there we had this ski school remain that was
- 38:48Speaker 6: called Carabasset Valley Academy, where they just would like ski
- 38:53Speaker 6: from nine am till three or two. Yeah, and then
- 38:56Speaker 6: they'd go to like host of what hour of becoming
- 38:59Speaker 6: an Olympic in And.
- 39:01Speaker 8: They had I had I grew up with people like that.
- 39:02Speaker 6: And they had, you know, a racing team, and then
- 39:06Speaker 6: they had a freestyle and like a moguls team. Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 6: and and and we had we had some kids at
- 39:12Speaker 6: my school who for the winter would just kind of
- 39:17Speaker 6: drop out of school and go up there at Sugar
- 39:20Speaker 6: Loaf and they would they would go to CVA for
- 39:24Speaker 6: whatever four months and come back and get back into
- 39:28Speaker 6: math class and they've missed you know. Yeah, I grew
- 39:32Speaker 6: up with people like that half the year, half the curriculum.
- 39:35Speaker 6: So you're your odds of actually having that pan out
- 39:40Speaker 6: to me.
- 39:41Speaker 8: I always wondered though, if that was a huge if
- 39:43Speaker 8: that was more so like like we're doing this to
- 39:46Speaker 8: try to get you into a good college under like
- 39:48Speaker 8: a scholarship, or if it was like genuine like we're
- 39:52Speaker 8: like we're hoping you're gonna go to the Olympics.
- 39:54Speaker 1: But I think that it's not even that bad of
- 39:56Speaker 1: a proposition because I think a lot of kids just
- 39:58Speaker 1: don't get the fucking lessons any way, Like they don't
- 40:01Speaker 1: none of it like hits their brain, Like they zone
- 40:03Speaker 1: out in class anyway, So like missing a year of math,
- 40:07Speaker 1: like you might wind up just being dumb anyway, you
- 40:10Speaker 1: might not have that, and you when you're sitting in class,
- 40:13Speaker 1: at least you got a little got tired out a
- 40:15Speaker 1: little bit.
- 40:15Speaker 6: But that's a big chicken egg thing. It's like, are
- 40:18Speaker 6: they dumb because they you took them out and put
- 40:21Speaker 6: them into ski school.
- 40:22Speaker 1: At least I know how to ski, and they're dumb.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Some people just wind up dumb.
- 40:25Speaker 6: Yeah right, some people is just garden variety stupid because
- 40:29Speaker 6: if it's if it's not Olympics, you're a lifty, right
- 40:35Speaker 6: with that pedigree. What's a lifty the guy that slows
- 40:41Speaker 6: the fucking chairlift down as you sit down. Yeah, that's like, yeah,
- 40:45Speaker 6: you're right, smokes more weed than Harry, you know.
- 40:50Speaker 1: So we're talking about a legend.
- 40:53Speaker 8: I mean, it's gonna die at fifty. I mean, yeah,
- 40:56Speaker 8: I don't know. I don't know what the Yeah, I
- 41:01Speaker 8: guess the risk is, like you probably have to be
- 41:04Speaker 8: unbelievably good for anyone to be like this is something
- 41:09Speaker 8: you should pursue. Let's put it this way.
- 41:12Speaker 6: Growing up and obviously I was before the rise of esports.
- 41:17Speaker 6: But if I had grown up now, I know my
- 41:21Speaker 6: parents well enough to know that for me to convince
- 41:23Speaker 6: them that I had a brighter future in video games,
- 41:28Speaker 6: then I would had they you know, from them continuing
- 41:32Speaker 6: to push me in school and whatever other stuff, I
- 41:38Speaker 6: would have needed to present them with like full blown
- 41:42Speaker 6: checks and be like, hey, here's my college tuition.
- 41:46Speaker 8: But I think that want me to go. I think
- 41:47Speaker 8: that is what people like. I think that's what it
- 41:49Speaker 8: used to be like. Is that like you would go
- 41:52Speaker 8: compete in like minor tournaments on the weekend or like
- 41:54Speaker 8: challengers tournaments, and then like if you won those, like
- 41:59Speaker 8: maybe your parents would be like Okay.
- 42:01Speaker 6: The only exception would be if you had a parent
- 42:03Speaker 6: who was also obsessed with video game.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Yeah, which is now probably like guys aren't aging out
- 42:09Speaker 1: of video now. Guys are playing video games until they die.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Like we're getting to the first iteration of nursing home
- 42:17Speaker 1: video game play. Yes, I swear to God it's coming
- 42:19Speaker 1: and that's probably a sweet nursing home existence.
- 42:22Speaker 8: Yeah, Like I mean me and my for like like
- 42:24Speaker 8: bo will always throw out shit like like, well, what
- 42:28Speaker 8: we're going to be playing Call of Duty when we're
- 42:29Speaker 8: in our forties and I'm I'm like, yeah.
- 42:33Speaker 6: I'm figuring that. Yeah, go go, go Jesus Chris. Hell. Guys,

- 46:41Speaker 8: Yes, I don't know. Well, so what I was going
- 46:45Speaker 8: to get at was the I clip out my gameplay.
- 46:51Speaker 6: Oh yeah, you started clipping it out.
- 46:52Speaker 8: Yeah, I clip it out, and I accidentally, like the
- 46:55Speaker 8: settings got fucked up on my PlayStation and it set
- 46:59Speaker 8: it so that you recorded my audio of me speaking
- 47:02Speaker 8: as well. Oh no, but it didn't record anyone else's audio.
- 47:05Speaker 8: So it's just me talking to myself in the game.
- 47:09Speaker 6: I'd like to hear that.
- 47:10Speaker 8: It's pretty brutal. I'll play it.
- 47:12Speaker 6: Well, you don't have to do it now. It's kind
- 47:14Speaker 6: of funny, is it funny? Enough.
- 47:17Speaker 8: It's pretty funny.
- 47:17Speaker 6: All right, give us a few seconds of it.
- 47:20Speaker 8: I'll give you. I'll give you a few.
- 47:22Speaker 6: Seconds, give me, give me a little taste, and then
- 47:25Speaker 6: I'll decide if I want to watch the rest of
- 47:27Speaker 6: the video. We'll preview.
- 47:31Speaker 8: Let's see.
- 47:32Speaker 6: Uh huh mm hmmm. I have been making some good food.
- 47:40Speaker 6: Yeah you can. I'm letting you cue this up.
- 47:43Speaker 8: Should I go?
- 47:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 47:44Speaker 6: Go ahead?
- 48:00Speaker 8: We got got.
- 48:03Speaker 6: Got one down.
- 48:09Speaker 5: Week as fun.
- 48:10Speaker 8: We just fun got him squad wipe all.
- 48:19Speaker 6: Right, yeah, totally worth it, totally worth it. What does
- 48:23Speaker 6: squad wipe mean?
- 48:25Speaker 8: As we were playing war Zone and it's like that's
- 48:28Speaker 8: like a battle royale like the Hunger games. Like it's
- 48:30Speaker 8: like it goes down to like one team at the end,
- 48:33Speaker 8: starts out with one hundred people and then it's like
- 48:34Speaker 8: you're pretty much trying to kill everyone to win at
- 48:36Speaker 8: the end, and like we took out a full squad
- 48:39Speaker 8: of people, so they don't they don't come back, they're dead,
- 48:41Speaker 8: they're back to the lobby.
- 48:43Speaker 6: So that you won.
- 48:44Speaker 8: We we beat those guys. We ended up not winning
- 48:46Speaker 8: that game, okay, got it, got it? It was I
- 48:50Speaker 8: did a little three piece, which is pretty impressive. In
- 48:52Speaker 8: war Zone. Nice means I took out the whole team
- 48:55Speaker 8: by myself.
- 48:56Speaker 6: Nice And you said week as fuck yeah about them?
- 49:00Speaker 8: That I meant the guy I was shooting was weak
- 49:01Speaker 8: as fuck.
- 49:02Speaker 6: Oh cool, Yeah, and that's great. Can I say I
- 49:07Speaker 6: would like to come watch you play video games? Yeah?
- 49:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 49:10Speaker 8: I don't know about that. Why not, Well, like, come
- 49:13Speaker 8: sit and watch I don't know, just for a little.
- 49:15Speaker 6: I'd like to come smoke some of your weed.
- 49:17Speaker 8: And I don't have any weed for you to smile.
- 49:19Speaker 6: Well, now, you're just fucking selfish. You tell me you
- 49:24Speaker 6: can't spare one of your four thousand pre rolls.
- 49:28Speaker 8: Now, I don't have any pre rolls. But yeah, we
- 49:32Speaker 8: could definitely get you. I mean, you should definitely get
- 49:35Speaker 8: on you should get on the games.
- 49:37Speaker 6: No, it's too late for me.
- 49:38Speaker 8: I don't think it is. It's definitely too late for you.
- 49:40Speaker 8: Said you used to play Halo Halo change.
- 49:43Speaker 6: Dude, Honestly like you, guys would never want me to
- 49:45Speaker 6: play with you because I would It would take me
- 49:47Speaker 6: way too long to get you. Guys would get better,
- 49:50Speaker 6: and I can't close the gap. I can't close the gap.
- 49:54Speaker 6: I don't think you'd be that much worse than Mook.
- 49:55Speaker 6: Well that's insulting to Connor, it is, but it's true.
- 50:00Speaker 6: I just don't see it. I don't see myself getting
- 50:02Speaker 6: good enough. What did you beyond you watch me play
- 50:05Speaker 6: for the first time ever. Yeah, you're terrible, but I
- 50:10Speaker 6: still got five kills. Yeah, but that doesn't that's like
- 50:14Speaker 6: a whole different I can't figure out if you're trying
- 50:17Speaker 6: to be complimentary because me first you were like, you
- 50:20Speaker 6: should try, you'll be okay. Well then I did okay
- 50:24Speaker 6: that first time, You're like, you're terrible.
- 50:26Speaker 8: Yeah, don't do it. Yeah, you are terrible. But I
- 50:28Speaker 8: think if you I've never played, I know that's what
- 50:30Speaker 8: I'm saying. I think if you gave it like a
- 50:31Speaker 8: week of playing consistently, I think you'd be like fine,
- 50:34Speaker 8: Like I think you'd be like, you'd understand it more, yeah,
- 50:39Speaker 8: and you'd like know what you're doing.
- 50:41Speaker 6: Sometimes I think about video games the way I think
- 50:43Speaker 6: about like skateboarding, where I watched clips and I'm like,
- 50:46Speaker 6: that's awesome, and I like the idea of it. I
- 50:51Speaker 6: like the the vision of myself having that as a
- 50:55Speaker 6: hobby to myself and looking forward the way that you
- 50:58Speaker 6: do as a true to Okay, I've gotten through my work,
- 51:02Speaker 6: I've gotten through my day, and instead of me fucking
- 51:06Speaker 6: around to try to find some new sports documentary on
- 51:09Speaker 6: Netflix to watch for three hours, yeah, to wind down
- 51:12Speaker 6: or two hours, I'll I'll play video games with my friends,
- 51:16Speaker 6: which is collaborative. I do like that aspect of it. Yeah,
- 51:20Speaker 6: that it's clearly a team thing and something that you
- 51:22Speaker 6: bond with your buddies over to your credit, you correspond
- 51:27Speaker 6: with your close friends more than maybe anyone I know.
- 51:31Speaker 8: Oh yeah, we keep in touch.
- 51:33Speaker 6: You say that you FaceTime and talked to Bo and
- 51:36Speaker 6: Peters and all them every day. Yeah, every day. The
- 51:39Speaker 6: fact that we can call Bo in Spain on FaceTime
- 51:43Speaker 6: in the middle of the day and he just picks up.
- 51:45Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, And isn't like, boy, I haven't heard from
- 51:48Speaker 6: you in a while. I'm glad you caught me. It's
- 51:50Speaker 6: a rare good moment in between you know, my siesta
- 51:54Speaker 6: and my yeah whatever.
- 51:57Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't know.
- 51:59Speaker 6: All good.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Yeah, everything's great. What are you boys talking about?
- 52:03Speaker 6: Video game? Video game?
- 52:04Speaker 8: Still?
- 52:05Speaker 1: I guess the move is just to make your children
- 52:08Speaker 1: well rounded. Like you can't specialize, you can't over specialize,
- 52:12Speaker 1: or you hope to over specialize in something because like
- 52:15Speaker 1: the chances are it's not going to work out.
- 52:16Speaker 6: Yeah, do you ever see a Searching for Bobby Fisher? No,
- 52:22Speaker 6: you never saw that movie. You would have liked that movie.
- 52:24Speaker 6: Did you ever see that movie?
- 52:24Speaker 12: Run?
- 52:25Speaker 1: I don't think I did. I'm familiar with him though.
- 52:27Speaker 1: The chess player who disappears.
- 52:29Speaker 6: What that movie's about a dad, an overbearing dad played
- 52:33Speaker 6: by Arquette David Arkette, Okay, no, John Cusack, excuse me,
- 52:40Speaker 6: John Cusack. And he has a young son who's probably
- 52:44Speaker 6: like seven and is a chess prodigy, and it's about
- 52:48Speaker 6: him trying to, you know, cultivate his son's chess ability,
- 52:53Speaker 6: and he becomes totally obsessed, and you know, hires a
- 52:57Speaker 6: grandmaster to tutor him and all this stuff. But there's
- 53:03Speaker 6: a moment where he has an angry conversation with his
- 53:06Speaker 6: son's like kindergarten teacher and the kindergarteners teachers like, I
- 53:11Speaker 6: don't you know, I feel like there's a lot of
- 53:14Speaker 6: this chess thing is taking a lot of time away
- 53:17Speaker 6: from his ability to grow. And the dad's like chess thing,
- 53:22Speaker 6: this chess thing, you wouldn't even understand. The gift that
- 53:26Speaker 6: my son has. And I think I can see you know,
- 53:30Speaker 6: us having that same conversation if we're trying to push
- 53:33Speaker 6: our kids for it in video games with our kindergarten teachers.
- 53:37Speaker 8: I mean, I think, yeah, it probably comes down to,
- 53:39Speaker 8: like you, probably anyone that's that good at like that
- 53:45Speaker 8: at call of duty, really good at other.
- 53:48Speaker 6: Things too, what you're concerning what I can just see
- 53:52Speaker 6: that conversation where the kindergarten teachers like, yeah, we so
- 53:55Speaker 6: we assigned the kids to do some finger painting and
- 53:58Speaker 6: your son drew a leader board with blood drops coming down.
- 54:05Speaker 8: Yeah, I really, I mean it's got to be something
- 54:07Speaker 8: where like how did how do how does anyone get
- 54:09Speaker 8: into any creative or any.
- 54:10Speaker 6: Sort of.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Yeah, as a parent who just like I.
- 54:16Speaker 8: Got into success, I convinced my parents to let me
- 54:18Speaker 8: drop out of college to.
- 54:19Speaker 6: Do this because you were making money.
- 54:22Speaker 8: I wasn't making money. That was offered.
- 54:24Speaker 6: You had money there you go. You had you had
- 54:26Speaker 6: a literal job offer with benefits and a salary. Yeah.
- 54:31Speaker 8: So there's also a contract for one year and it
- 54:34Speaker 8: was not a lot of money at all.
- 54:35Speaker 6: Okay, But my point being, that is exactly the comp
- 54:39Speaker 6: I would use for video games.
- 54:41Speaker 8: Yeah, give it a year.
- 54:42Speaker 6: No that you can present your parents with a money
- 54:47Speaker 6: making opportunity and say I have this, I foresee this,
- 54:52Speaker 6: this is how I see this going. I've I've built this,
- 54:55Speaker 6: and like people in my position tend to go this
- 54:57Speaker 6: route and this is the the five year and your
- 55:00Speaker 6: trajectory or whatever, and get off my back. I know
- 55:04Speaker 6: what I'm doing, you know, me me staying in school
- 55:09Speaker 6: to broaden my horizons or whatever. I'm just gonna be partying.
- 55:12Speaker 6: I'm just gonna be wasting my time and we'll save
- 55:15Speaker 6: money on college tuition, YadA, YadA. Life. Yeah.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I remember when my my like uh like rap battle
- 55:20Speaker 1: started going like viral, and it was like the summer
- 55:22Speaker 1: of my junior year and I of college and I
- 55:26Speaker 1: was like pretty convinced that I was going to drop
- 55:28Speaker 1: out of college. And my mom was like, do not
- 55:31Speaker 1: do that. What are you fucking like, what are you thinking? Like,
- 55:34Speaker 1: please do not do that.
- 55:36Speaker 8: Basically well, going into senior year, yeah, she was like,
- 55:39Speaker 8: just finish, get your degree or whatever.
- 55:41Speaker 1: And it's like, I'm on one hand, I didn't you
- 55:45Speaker 1: ever use my degree for a single thing in my life?
- 55:47Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 55:48Speaker 1: Two degrees. I haven't used either of them for fucking anything.
- 55:51Speaker 1: But on the other hand, I fucking like wandered in
- 55:55Speaker 1: the wilderness for fucking like six or seven years before
- 55:59Speaker 1: I was like constantly making good money, So it's not
- 56:02Speaker 1: like I had a money making option on the other
- 56:04Speaker 1: side of it anyway.
- 56:05Speaker 6: Yeah, do you think that that period of wandering was
- 56:10Speaker 6: uh you benefited at all during that period from the
- 56:14Speaker 6: fact that you'd finished college?
- 56:16Speaker 1: Not at all, really, not at not. Once my first
- 56:20Speaker 1: job was at like a bar as a roast beef cutter.
- 56:23Speaker 6: And able to cut that roast beef without having finished
- 56:25Speaker 6: at Penn State.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that had nothing to do with it. I was
- 56:28Speaker 1: so overqualified for that job, was still somehow bad at it.
- 56:33Speaker 1: And then like my next job's like where can I
- 56:37Speaker 1: ouji wuji or whatever fucking odd jobs I did or
- 56:40Speaker 1: fucking battle rap shit or fucking uh like selling websites
- 56:45Speaker 1: for the Catholic Church. None of that shit. It required
- 56:47Speaker 1: a fucking degree.
- 56:49Speaker 8: All that shit I basically scamming, but Nigerian print scamming.
- 56:52Speaker 6: But hold on, I don't know.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I have noted have money for you. All you have
- 56:58Speaker 1: to do is give me your first dog's kneed, your
- 57:02Speaker 1: mother's maide a name please.
- 57:06Speaker 8: I could see you getting into scamming, like post college.
- 57:09Speaker 1: That'd be so sick. I definitely have buddies that scammed.
- 57:14Speaker 1: One of the actually they were scamming going into college.
- 57:16Speaker 1: They went to Penn State's first like opening weekend, and
- 57:20Speaker 1: they went around from room to room, two friends specifically,
- 57:23Speaker 1: and one of them wound up in jail at one point,
- 57:26Speaker 1: but they sold. They went like dorm room to dorm
- 57:29Speaker 1: room and sold, uh, frat passes something that just doesn't exist. Yeah,
- 57:35Speaker 1: they're like, you want a frat pass for this year.
- 57:37Speaker 1: It's one hundred twenty dollars every party. And kids are like,
- 57:40Speaker 1: oh shit, every party for the entire year. And they're like, yeah,
- 57:43Speaker 1: you just they might have had bracelets or something like that.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Have your here's your frat pass.
- 57:49Speaker 8: That's crazy.
- 57:50Speaker 6: We started my senior year, we started trying to go
- 57:53Speaker 6: to there were always these brains I think they were
- 57:55Speaker 6: called was it bracelet parties I guess me, or like
- 58:01Speaker 6: ticket parties like BC and BU would throw these ticket
- 58:06Speaker 6: parties where you had to like someone over there would
- 58:10Speaker 6: rent out a bar and you would buy a ticket
- 58:14Speaker 6: for whatever twenty five bucks and then you'd go and
- 58:17Speaker 6: It was like I think all you could drink or
- 58:20Speaker 6: maybe you got a deal on beers, but you had
- 58:26Speaker 6: to be invited to be part of their list or whatever.
- 58:29Speaker 6: And we would have one connection for like forty of
- 58:35Speaker 6: us or thirty of us had no one person, a
- 58:37Speaker 6: girl who would invite one of them and she was like,
- 58:41Speaker 6: I can get you on the list, and she would
- 58:43Speaker 6: send him the ticket and then we would go to
- 58:48Speaker 6: the same like printing and copy center on mass Ave
- 58:53Speaker 6: that we would use to like photo copy textbooks that
- 58:57Speaker 6: we had to buy for classes, yeah, which were like
- 59:01Speaker 6: one hundred and fifty bucks or something insane, and then
- 59:04Speaker 6: we would just get one up. We would all split
- 59:06Speaker 6: the textbook and then literally photo copy it for like
- 59:10Speaker 6: twenty of us so that we didn't all have to
- 59:12Speaker 6: buy the book. I think it was totally illegal, but
- 59:16Speaker 6: we would go to that place which we shouldn't be
- 59:18Speaker 6: at all. Well, you're you're doing to a copy written book.
- 59:24Speaker 6: What you're doing to like burning and pirating music? Probably yeah,
- 59:30Speaker 6: But anyway, the point was we would go there and
- 59:32Speaker 6: we would get you had to it was like laminated passes,
- 59:36Speaker 6: laminated tickets, and so we would get the exact one
- 59:39Speaker 6: done laminated and it wouldn't you get like thirty of
- 59:43Speaker 6: them and they wouldn't be that expensive. And we would
- 59:45Speaker 6: go to the bars and we would have to go
- 59:47Speaker 6: early because with our added numbers they would reach fire capacity. Yeah,
- 59:53Speaker 6: and we would displace like forty thirty people that were
- 59:57Speaker 6: actually legitimately on the list. Just created huge ill will
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: from BC, Northeastern and BU towards the Harvard men, the
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: Harvard like pirates. And then sometimes they'd get in their
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: fights would break out, I'm sure. And and uh, there
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: was a period my senior year in the winter where
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: like it was almost like every other time we went
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: into Boston, somehow we'd get into a fight.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: Ye.
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: And I had to tell our team like, I don't
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: think we knock it off because I knew of a
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: I knew of a college kid and you know, from
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: from Maine who went to Bates and he was on
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: the lacrosse team and he got he got he was
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: trying to break up a fight and he got stabbed
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: and killed. Yeah. It was like a big, really sad story.
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: And so I like read them the press release on
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: that and was like, I think it'd be better if
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: we didn't get into fights.
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: Every night with rival schools.
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: Yeah, we should probably slow this down.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: So you guys were a bunch of.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: Yeah, they didn't like us Holy Seas on Tuesday, that
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: was the bu bar we would go.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Don't they have known that you guys, as you're going
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: in are like the Harvard guys, Like if there was,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: if it created the ill will, why didn't they nip
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: it in the bud? Is my question?
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: Well, because it was a bouncer at the door who
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: was reading off a list and or like not even
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: reading off the list, just checking the tickets, got it
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: and we would go in. We would present them and
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: they look totally legit, and we would go in and
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: then there'd be like later in the night, there'd be
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: some huge hullabaloo and then we'd probably get kicked out,
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: at which point we'd run into the throng of guys
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: who were like, fuck, you stop coming to our party.
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: You're not invited to.
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: You were on the other end of the good you
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: were the guy you were, You were the uh you're
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: going to be serving. You're gonna be serving me and
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: my kids fries. On our way up to the ski
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: trip to.
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: Show Mountain to Sugar Love Well, I don't know if
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: we we didn't say that you're saying they said that
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: to us.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: No, no, you said that is what he's saying.
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: Like you guys were on the other end of like
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: you guys were the Harvard guys at the bar.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: No, we weren't. We were trying. We were. We were
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: sneaking our way in like a bunch of townies, like
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: a bunch of bu guys and and the like the
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: rich Bu kids were ruffled.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: How are you trying to convince people that you were
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: a BU kid where you were like fucking up like
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the addition on the tip or.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: I'd be like I'd be like, yeah, I'd be like,
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: do I know you from a from math class?
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: I do I know you.
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: From Uh yeah, I remember pretending we took we took
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: a decimal. Yeah, because someone I don't know just give
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: him fifteen bucks.
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: It's easy there, Like it's like at that scene in
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: Gobil Hunting. Yeah, fucking easy. This is from how hard.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: This is.
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: Totally pretend.
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: But that's where I'm saying. We were the ben Afflecks.
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: We were going up to girls and being like, don't
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: I know you from from history history?
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: It surveys.
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Yeah, what's funny about all this is that if you
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: had it's it's kind of like how you're saying if
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: if Harry had spent the time playing video games studying,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Like if you had spent all the time that you
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: spent in Harvard scamming and fucking getting into fights with me,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you kids, Yeah, you would have. You would have been
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: a half of a Winklevoss at this point.
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: You're not wrong, but uh, yeah, I guess I don't
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: know how that doesn't end in jail for me in prison.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you would be like the guy in the White
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Lotus snow spoilers who is very concerned, the guy who's
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: based on Thomas Ravenel from Southern.
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: Charm Oh is that who that dad is based on?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: I love the dad.
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: Dad's the best. Mom is the best character.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Mom is incredible.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: What are you talking about? They're gonna come live over
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: here for a year.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: She was amazing investing show.
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: Wait, that's the last episode, isn't it.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm halfway through it. Oh, Okay, I haven't finished yet,
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: but I've already seen the meme, so I know there's
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: a big moment.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: You guys, remember her character in Best in Show. Yeah,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: it's like a completely different type of like waspy rich person.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: She's She's got hu Drange. She was in You've Got Mail. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: she's an amazing character.
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: That's a lot of old ship.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Yeah you know who You've Got Mail?
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: Because I looked up for IMDb.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Bro Paul's brow.
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: You know you got You've Got Mail?
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Because I knew it was that girl movie I didn't
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: watch along the Sleepless in Seattle.
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: Oh my god. All of those Meg Ryan rom coms
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: are must watch, must watch.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Meg Ryan did. Actually I guess she did it for
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: me in that movie I Q where she was like
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Albert Einstein's like daughter or some show.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: Don't watch those, you gotta watch Rob comes with like
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: When Harry Met Sally.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: All these not watching Tom Hanks. You can't convince me
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: to watch that fucking.
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: I never saw When Harry Mitt Sally.
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: It's an awesome movie. It's truly amazing. It's Billy Billy Crystal.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: I don't think it's I don't think it's Woody Allen.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: But it's the woman who died. I don't like it's
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: the woman who died who wrote all of those rom
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: coms and she was in.
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: Is it like a good Is it like it's a
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: good movie?
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: It's a good movie.
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: Isn't it more? I think it's heavier on the rom.
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: Though, correct me. It's pretty funny. No, it's funny.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: You're talking about it chick flick.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm not going to argue with on this.
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: It's good. It's worth watching.
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: When Harry met Sally is a perfect movie.
- 1:05:52Speaker 8: Perfect.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: I would call it a perfect movie.
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: I'd call The Department a perfect movie.
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: Okay, I don't know. I don't disagree. I think when
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: Harry Mettsalie is a perfect movie. I think groundhog Day
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: is a perfect movie.
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: Interesting.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I think Apocalypto is a perfect movie.
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: Interesting, ruled so I think I think Back to the
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: Future is a perfect movie.
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: Movie, good movie. Kind Of weird though, when he's like
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: trying to fuck his mom and.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Know, yeah, I don't know, that's a little white loaders.
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: Sucking the mom would kind of take it down from
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: perfect movie. Was good one weird.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: Part you're doing that? John mulaney Amy Schumer bit, what's
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: that when he tries to fuck his mom?
- 1:06:36Speaker 8: I'm not familiar.
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: John mulaney does a bit about that about what about
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: in back back to the Future to his mom? Yeah,
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: what is the bit? It's literally that something about like,
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: you know, it's a little weird when he tries to
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: fuck his mom or when his mom tries to fuck
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: him you.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Yeah, John mulaney and Amy Schumer really have a love.
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: Trying triangle triangle out walking behind the guys.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: It's just you're on the same wavelengths all the time.
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: Have you never? Have you never encountered that bit or
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: said that joke yourself and then had people comment that
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: it was a John mullaney bit.
- 1:07:22Speaker 8: Back to the Future. Yeah, I don't think I'm the
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: first person ever think it was weird that that's not
- 1:07:28Speaker 8: what I mean.
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: I thought you had run I thought you had said
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: that before, and then had people get on you about
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: John mullaney.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Different, John Different.
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: Oh, you're taking all.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Of he's lifting full specials. He's like you think it's
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: funny when you go to church people.
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: I did a joke a while ago, Millennium. I did
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: a joke a while ago about walking home behind a
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: girl and being worried that she was thinking that I
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: was following her. And then I guess he had a
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: bit where he's on the subway and there's a girl.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: It's from like an it's not even from like a
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: special it's from like an album of his Yeah, and.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: A Grammy winning album like that.
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: Nobody saw. I didn't. I'd never listened to a John
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: Laney album.
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: I never listened to the one where he talks about
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: why he quit drinking. No, oh, it's fucking good.
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: I haven't listened to I haven't seen most of John Laney's.
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: He talks about going to like high school parties and
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: how he had this one friend. They would go to
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: high school parties at people's houses where the parents were away,
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: and they would like cause a ruckus And he had
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: one friend who was a psychopath who what he would
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: do is he would go upstairs into like the parents'
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: bedrooms and steal family photos. And John was like, why
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: would you do that? And he goes cause it's the
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: one thing you can't replace, you know that bit? I
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: fucking love that bit?
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I never not never. I never got into
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: John Mulley. And my sister has always been a huge
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: I mean I know, like I've seen like his biggest jokes,
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: like ship like that.
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: You never did you watch?
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: I saw see like the Timothy shallow A bit the boy.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Did you watch Bill Burd's special?
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm keen too.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: You liked it?
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: I thought it was great.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: I liked it. I don't think I thought it was
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I thought it was very very good. I felt like
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: a little bit more. It was just like, I'm not
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: like disparaging his jokes or perspective. It was just like
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: more sentimental than uh than like funny at some points.
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: Yeah, I'd agree with that, but I liked that.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but he had some amazing That guitar center ship
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: was the guitar Center bit was shooting ship was hilarious.
- 1:09:44Speaker 8: Yeah, I thought it was great. I mean, look, I
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: thought like I also.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Thought Schultz's special was really sentimental, but I liked that.
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: I didn't watch his.
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: I thought it was good.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I thought, yeah, I thought that was really really good too.
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: I saw the sentimental too. I saw the bit about
- 1:09:59Speaker 8: the doing the coming into the cup and he said
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: that they would be. It had like a line it
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: said like filthy here, yeah, and he was like, give
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: me a contact lens. That was like the trailer that
- 1:10:16Speaker 8: played that. I thought that was very funny, but I
- 1:10:17Speaker 8: never got around to watching them.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: I was working on a bid for a while there
- 1:10:20Speaker 6: about uh, the process of going to like.
- 1:10:24Speaker 8: Oh I because I forgot yeah you did that, yeah,
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: but I never fleshed it out.
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: Yeah, And then I bailed on.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: I had I thought I had a good punch on.
- 1:10:31Speaker 8: I had a good I think I finally got some
- 1:10:33Speaker 8: new material that is going to be good, which I'm
- 1:10:35Speaker 8: very happy about.
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: The funny part I had in that joke about going
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: to the uh com doctor the com doctor was that
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: they have they have poorn DVDs and then over ear headphones.
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that are like still sweating from the last guy.
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: And then there's a chair. There's a chair, a leather
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: chair with no no tissue paper cover.
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: A leather chair is nasty, and uh, rather it be
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: a beach chair.
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: Yeah, And I said, uh plastic yeah. And I said
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: something about how uh I liked you know, the idea.
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: You could just you could feel the ghosts of men
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: and it was interesting to stand in the footsteps of
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: men who would quite literally come before you. That was
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: my punchline. And I don't mind, you know, half burning it,
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: because I'm never gonna tell it never worked out.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: It does it does feel there is like so I
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: went in the same rooms to get my ship looked at,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: and they fucking uh. My chair was also leather and
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: it was split, like the leather was like split with
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: it like coming up someone like sit hard. And they
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: had the same peepads I used for my dogs for you,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Like it was.
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: It's insane that that's like some of the people have
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: to Dude, I can't. Even when I go to the
- 1:11:58Speaker 8: doctor and they make you pee in the cup, I can't.
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: I just I just don't do it.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: That little room and it feels like where they signed
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: the Declaration of Independence, like it has like this like
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: air of like history in there.
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: Dude, I go to the doctor and I see in
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: the room for like fifteen minutes and then I come
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: out and I'm like, I can't. I there's just no
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: p in me. They're like, do you want to drink
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: some water? And I'm like, it's not gonna do anything.
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: It's just gonna go. I'm not gonna piss.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: The waiting room for the male the fertility clinic for
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: the men, if it was like eight in the morning
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: when I went, and there were like seven other dudes there. Yeah,
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: and there was a very strange air in the room.
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: Of knowing that every single one of us was minutes
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: away from.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Jersey and that someone is going to have the most yeah.
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: Yeah, and it's just like when they call, it's like
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: being summoned for the gang bangs.
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: Yeah, like okay.
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: Uh mister Ellis and you're like, yep, all right, good luck,
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: you know yeah yeah yeah, and you know I was
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: just it's a very bizarre You never.
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: Go around and like, you know, fist bumps boys. Yeah,
- 1:13:05Speaker 8: Like there's definitely there's definitely a dude in there who's
- 1:13:08Speaker 8: done that.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Hips apps up.
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: Yeah, you're signing, you're sizing up your competition like that,
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: and the nurses are to.
- 1:13:16Speaker 14: You come out and walking out and you're like to
- 1:13:19Speaker 14: the brim, yeah, like that guy's definitely going to taste
- 1:13:24Speaker 14: some of this looks like a frothy Mills taking a sip.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: But otherwise, like the nurses will be like, that's it.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: That would be so funny.
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: Where'd the rest go?
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Did you?
- 1:13:35Speaker 8: There?
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Is there another container?
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: This is the overflow.
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: There's got to be some good joke about the challenge
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: of like pointing your erect penis into a cup that's small,
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: like that's small, trying to refuel a space station or something.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you're trying to trying to catch it like
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: a fucking How big is the cup?
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: Isn't the cup like this big?
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: No, it's not huge. It's tiny. It's like it's the
- 1:14:01Speaker 6: pea cup.
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: I would have no problem fitting my dick inside of it.
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: That's not what I mean. That's not what I mean.
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: It's different when you have a when you have a boner,
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: When you have a boner that wants to be pointing up,
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: pointing it down into the cup is the hard party,
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: I see.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Because you're you're not going to hold the cup over
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: the end of it.
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: Yeah, you think about this when you jerk off. You
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: don't usually jerk off pointing your stick towards your feet.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: It's very like it's like Indiana Jones type of act
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: where at the last second you have to like swap
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: the one, like you to like swap the fucking Yeah.
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: It's like a vet pulling the horses penis out of
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: the woman and putting it into the cup.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: It's like a very uh precise act.
- 1:14:48Speaker 15: What did you do in Indiana Jones? Just like he
- 1:14:49Speaker 15: takes the bag, yeah, gobblin. He sizes it up and
- 1:14:54Speaker 15: just from looking at it. He's like, yeah, I got
- 1:14:56Speaker 15: this perfect bag of sand. This is exactly the same way.
- 1:15:00Speaker 15: Sure isn't sure? The ancient Mayan people know that's why
- 1:15:06Speaker 15: the rock starts rolling. By the way, have you ever
- 1:15:09Speaker 15: seen there's like some theme park it's you know, maybe
- 1:15:14Speaker 15: Universal Studios where they're re enacting.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: That Disney World. It's in Disney World.
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: And someone's running away from the big rolling rock and
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: it and they're all like immediately people start running.
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: Out, like running through the water.
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: That shouldn't have happened.
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: It kind of makes them think, though, You're like, why
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: are they not just using like all and you could
- 1:15:41Speaker 8: just like flick away. It's a movie quality.
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: We believe in the authenticity.
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: Of that was the real ball. That was the real ball.
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: They swapped the ball.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: We got a Baldwin on set.
- 1:15:54Speaker 8: He only wants to go with the real ball. You
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: can't get into character.
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: Steman's like, look, I actually like the fact that it's real.
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: It makes me run faster.
- 1:16:01Speaker 8: Do you think you'll ever go to Disney World again?
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: I do.
- 1:16:04Speaker 8: Yeah, probably, you'll probably five years old, yeah yeah, but
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: people always take their kids there when they're way too young.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Who had a fucking hilarious bit about that, oh Bargatzi
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: bargots did. He was like someone was like, yeah, you
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: take your kid when her too young, and he's like, yeah,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: I'll just keep my kid in the closet until they start.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I remember yesterday.
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: Yeah, I went when I was like really fucking young,
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: and I don't remember any of it. I remember I
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: told the story about how how we don't like rides
- 1:16:38Speaker 8: in my family, so we just like went and saw
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: the Tower of Terror and like heard people screaming, and
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: we were like, damn, that's scary as fuck, and then
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: we just walked away.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: That's hilarious, your whole family doesn't like rides.
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: I remember going at an age so young that even
- 1:16:51Speaker 6: at that age, I was surprised to think, are we poor, right,
- 1:16:56Speaker 6: because you.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Just eye an eye with a bunch of knee braces.
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: The room that we had, I don't think we stayed
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: on campus, yeah, I mean it felt like we were
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: in an airbnb before that existed.
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: That's kind of what it's like, though.
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: I remember. I remember my whole family. We there was
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: like one bed and then there was a murphy bed
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: that came out of the wall that my sister and
- 1:17:20Speaker 6: I shared. Yeah, and it was really not clean.
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: I think it's just it's probably just insanely expensive.
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: I guess, so we would have been like nineteen ninety three, dude.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Yeah, we shot there for like the Barstool Travel Show
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: or whatever, like I mean like whatever six years ago.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: But uh, it was insane to go as an adult.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: And those hotels on campus. I don't think they're that expensive,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: but they're fucking huge. I just remember walking down the
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: hallway for hours.
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: It's casino like it's very Yeah, children time, children casina time.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Damn, that is a whole ass children's casino.
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I went.
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: I went.
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: We went again when I was older because I have
- 1:18:04Speaker 8: the younger sisters and my parents wanted to take them,
- 1:18:08Speaker 8: and I remember going and being like this is I was.
- 1:18:13Speaker 14: I was.
- 1:18:13Speaker 8: It was more interesting than anything. I was like, this
- 1:18:17Speaker 8: isn't really like it was kind of like weird. It
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: is weird. It's a little weird.
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: Well, you've always been ahead of your time. You probably
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: felt uncomfortable at that age that you were around so
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: many children.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and the plus sized park oppers.
- 1:18:32Speaker 8: I don't know, I've it's always been Yeah, the plus
- 1:18:34Speaker 8: sized park coppers and there and they're fucking Disney rashes.
- 1:18:38Speaker 8: You ever see those videos Instagram.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: It's some of the best coppers.
- 1:18:43Speaker 8: It's some of the best content on the internet. They're
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: they're like, they're like, okay, let's break down the Disney
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: rash for our uh, some of our plus sized park oppers.
- 1:18:55Speaker 8: And it's literally just a it's a heat rash from
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: being six hundred pounds. That's all it is. It's very specific,
- 1:19:03Speaker 8: but the Disney couldn't be less related to the problem.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: But they have all the plus sized tips. They're like,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: if you're in Lot F, there's going to be a
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: tram that comes in. On the second tram car, there's
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: a door that's double wide, so you'll be able to
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: like they're like they have it down to a science.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: It is so specific. It's an intoxicating and.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: What is it?
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: What is it about? Like eight hundred pound white women
- 1:19:26Speaker 8: that love Disney World?
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: What's not to like?
- 1:19:31Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess.
- 1:19:32Speaker 6: Weight limit on the fucking they don't have a weight limit.
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: They have a height limit on the rides.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: I think for some people where like adulthood hasn't like
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: taken on the same magic as childhood. They revert to
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: like some of the things that really did it for
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: them when they were really young.
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, children's food is what gets you to that size.
- 1:19:50Speaker 8: Yeah that is true. That is true.
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: You go to a fucking nice restaurant, those people are like,
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: I'm sorry, can I have the kids menu? Everything I
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: want is on there.
- 1:19:58Speaker 8: It's it's all French to mac and cheese.
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: Yea.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it is interesting, it's fascinating. I support their right
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: to do it and people's right to be fat as fuck.
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: Yeah. I don't know if I would. I feel like
- 1:20:12Speaker 8: Disney should sue them for calling it the Disney rash.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Yes, i'd be so. It's like the wuhand flu.
- 1:20:19Speaker 8: Yeah, if you're top, if you're up top at Disney,
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: like you're one of the top dogs at Disney, and
- 1:20:22Speaker 8: you find out that they're calling it the Disney rash, Bob,
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: I like, are you out of your fucking mind? Yeah,
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: we don't have anything to do with this. They're fat,
- 1:20:32Speaker 8: they're fat, They're getting it just because they're fat.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Has anyone looked into this?
- 1:20:41Speaker 8: Why don't we call it the fucking McDonald's rash? Why
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: do we got to call it the Disney rash?
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: Dude?
- 1:20:47Speaker 8: I I went to dude, they post like, not not
- 1:20:49Speaker 8: to till you off, but they post videos and it's
- 1:20:51Speaker 8: like their legs are like covered in hives, like all
- 1:20:55Speaker 8: like they'll be like they'll be like, oh, Sarah just
- 1:20:58Speaker 8: broke out in the Disney rash and they caught to
- 1:21:00Speaker 8: Sarah and her legs are like this fucking big and
- 1:21:03Speaker 8: they're like it's like the consistency of the back of
- 1:21:05Speaker 8: a crunch bar. Yeah, all over their legs.
- 1:21:12Speaker 6: What is that high from the heat?
- 1:21:15Speaker 8: It's hives from the crash humidity.
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: I only really get that when I drink too much,
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: too much red wine too quickly.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: You get Disney, get a little flush, get a little
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Disney rash.
- 1:21:28Speaker 8: Do you remember the first time you got hives?
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: I've never been a big hives guy.
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: I haven't either, but I remember getting them a couple
- 1:21:34Speaker 8: of times and being like, I'm dying, What the fuck
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: is going on?
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:21:40Speaker 8: Bumps all over.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: My face, on your face, my neck? Broh Fred again
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: gets uh what does he have the skin condition where
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: it's like it's triggered by lights or something like that.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Do you watch them on the black Boy Max stream?
- 1:21:53Speaker 8: I don't think so.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Fucking classic. I don't think I got around psoriasis or
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: something not pit oriasis. Roseation. That's what you have.
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: Sariasis is bad. Sariasis kind of looks like Disney ash
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: a little.
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: Bit where that's a tough word to spell. I've seen
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: it a couple of times, and it's very strange. The pe, right,
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: I think there's a silent pe up front.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's for no reason.
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: Yes, speaking of silent piece, my p's are getting louder.
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: I am now making noise when.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I pee because your dick's farther away.
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: I think I've I think I'm a little early to that,
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: to that game.
- 1:22:30Speaker 8: I don't think so. I also know I can't wait
- 1:22:34Speaker 8: till I get to that point.
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: It helps me a lot to be able.
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: To post up. I gotta I got a confession. I'm
- 1:22:47Speaker 8: a big sit down and pissed guy these days.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Big, Why are you just giving yourself a chance to poop?
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: Or you just started like taking a load up.
- 1:22:55Speaker 8: Giving a chance to poop kind of just taking a
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: load off at nighttime, Like, I'll sit down and at
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: all times.
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: I don't like it because I never feel like I
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: get it all out. When I do that, I can
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: see that I got I got it I don't know
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: about it now. I think if I did that and
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: then I stood up, I could easily pee another twenty percent.
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: It's usually at night, like when I already got the
- 1:23:19Speaker 8: lights cut and I'm like, I'm not turning back on
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: the lights because then it's gonna reset my how tired
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: I am. So I'm gonna go and I'm gonna sit
- 1:23:26Speaker 8: on the toilet because I know I won't piss a.
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: Lot of the I don't hate any of that logic. Yeah,
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: I don't hate any of that. I'm glad you approved that.
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: I was worried I was gonna be.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Tell Pop about the red light in the bathroom. Have
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: you ever seen that? A red light?
- 1:23:37Speaker 8: And that's a little much.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a little dark too. It makes it feel
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: like I saw a movie.
- 1:23:42Speaker 8: Being in a submarine. I don't know how much I
- 1:23:44Speaker 8: would fuck with that. Like looking up in the middle
- 1:23:46Speaker 8: of the night to piss and you're just in.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: A red light? Yeah, Like seeing ship.
- 1:23:50Speaker 8: Around the bathroom? Is that a face in the mirror
- 1:23:54Speaker 8: behind me?
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: Dude?
- 1:23:57Speaker 8: That's my biggest feeling.
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: I won't open my I won't open my medicine cabinet
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: with the mirror on it. Because I'm certain that when
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: I close it, there's a ghoul behind me. If I
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: ever have to open that at night, I'm leaving it
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: open the whole.
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: Time walking out. I've I've I've like contemplated getting like
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: getting like a like blinds for my mirrors in my
- 1:24:25Speaker 8: drawing so I don't have to look at that.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: It's like twisting that stick of blinds.
- 1:24:30Speaker 8: I don't know what movie it was it was, there's
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: some there was some span of horror movies. I think
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: it was like The Conjuring and then like all the
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: Insidious movies were like they really nailed down the idea
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: that you could only see ghosts in your in reflections. Yeah,
- 1:24:46Speaker 8: or like if you took a photo, the ghost would appear.
- 1:24:48Speaker 6: Dude. One of the biggest jump scares I ever had
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: was when they redid the movie it. Yeah, did you
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: see that? It was good? I know because the original
- 1:24:59Speaker 6: it It was one of those movies in my childhood
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: that kept me up for months thinking about But just
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: stick with me here.
- 1:25:08Speaker 8: I know, I gotta go in fifteen minutes.
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: Okay, that's fine, But I remember that in the new one,
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: there's that scene where it's sure enough the girl I
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: think she's the redheaded girl is in the bathroom and
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: she it's just one of those quiet moments where you
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: think you can breathe easy. Yeah, And she opens the
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: thing and then closes it. And I don't think he's
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: behind her, but I think it's like the opening of
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: it obscure is where he's gonna come. Yeah, and then
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: she closes it. In there he is. And I howled
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: in the movie theater. But that was a good movie.
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: I thought that was a pretty darn good remake.
- 1:25:45Speaker 8: Yeah, everyone says seemed to like it.
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: Well. They used a lot of the cast of Stranger Things. Yeah,
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: maybe not a lot, but at least one. There were
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: some pretty dark themes though. The girl's dad was like
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: incestuous towards her.
- 1:25:58Speaker 8: Really, yeah, that's surprising.
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: And then there the bully kind of like cuts the
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: guy the kid to bully him.
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: Pretty bullying belly.
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: It's pretty bad. Yeah.
- 1:26:13Speaker 8: It's more just uh like violent violent.
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: Yeah, really violent. It's not like the pants him. They
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: give him a wedgie. They cut him. Did some straight,
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: didn't you guys?
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: Just autonomy from the flagpole by my underwear, some ship,
- 1:26:31Speaker 8: you got a saw whet switch knight.
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: We're fourteen. We live in rural America.
- 1:26:39Speaker 8: This feels like there might be some serious consequences.
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: I don't think I'm going to the principal of this one.
- 1:26:48Speaker 8: Should we end it? Yeah, let's do it all right,
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: solid episode.
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: I will be by the way in Baltimore tonight, tomorrow
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: and Saturday, and then uh and and at the port
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: So tickets to that are at a Punch Up Dot
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: Live Slash Francis Alice and then lots of other fun
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: spots Kansas City coming up, uh, Dallas coming up, and
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: Providence as well. So I hope to see you guys
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: at any of those.
- 1:27:14Speaker 8: I'll be in Seattle on Saturday and Portland on Sunday.
- 1:27:19Speaker 8: Uh the one of these, one of the Seattle shows
- 1:27:22Speaker 8: is already sold out, the other one probably will be
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: as well. And then Portland there's still tickets to for Sunday. Nice.
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: And then I got a red eye home.
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: Had a boy.
- 1:27:31Speaker 8: Yeah, not bad either.
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: Team player. You're not gonna mind that that's a long flight.
- 1:27:36Speaker 8: You'll be able to sleep, yeah, yeah, but it's also
- 1:27:40Speaker 8: not that long. It's only like five hours.
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: It's enough.
- 1:27:43Speaker 8: It's tough, folks. Then you're like, so I'm capping out
- 1:27:45Speaker 8: at five hours of sleep.
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: Well you ever, you won't get that much, but you
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: have the Red Eye home, which I've done from Salt
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: Lake is three.
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: Yeah, I've done. Those are tough, crazy, yeah for any
- 1:27:58Speaker 8: of those. Yeah, you wake up and you're like, I
- 1:27:59Speaker 8: guess I didn't sleep. Yeah, I guess it's just I'm
- 1:28:02Speaker 8: going off of no sleep today. All right, we'll see
- 1:28:06Speaker 8: you guys next week. Goodbye.
- 1:28:25Speaker 12: Was still still under ground, so I looked on out
- 1:28:38Speaker 12: to you.
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: Game around.
- 1:28:44Speaker 16: I was only falling along way.
- 1:28:50Speaker 17: I was only fallen a day was drift for so.
- 1:29:09Speaker 16: So then you need something, No, I'm coming. I'm just
- 1:29:19Speaker 16: on a phone in. I was on your phone in.
- 1:29:30Speaker 16: I was on your phone in one. I was on
- 1:29:36Speaker 16: your phone my.
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: Stream. Don't get.
- 1:29:59Speaker 9: Phone whoa wait, see just a distant the bay that's
- 1:30:16Speaker 9: on that of the call. Just then not really take ahead.
- 1:30:21Speaker 9: If you kiss, you's.
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: The g.
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: Don't it.
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: Ja
