Maxi Adams: UNC’s Freshman Shooting Threat | Tar Heel Basketball News
UNC’s 2026-27 season just got a huge boost with the commitment of Maximo “Maxi” Adams — a 6’8” wing who’s already a McDonald’s All-American and top-30 prospect. He dominated the EYBL with 20+ points and nearly 11 rebounds per game, shooting lights out from deep. While his defense may need work, his scoring ability could make him a key bench weapon, potentially averaging 15-18 minutes and even leading the team in scoring off the bench. If he hits 35% from three, he could be a frontrunner for ACC Sixth Man of the Year — a massive freshman debut. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli…
