- 1:44Speaker 2: And there's some balloons.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Balloons.
- 1:46Speaker 2: And one of the balloons says congratulations. And there's like a,
- 1:50Speaker 2: is that a stuffed strawberry at the bottom there?
- 1:51Speaker 6: I think so, yeah.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Strawberry stuffed animal.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Okay, I'm not sure what that's about.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 2: But do you want to tell us what's- There's a
- 1:57Speaker 2: note in there. Oh, there's a note?
- 1:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:58Speaker 2: There's a note. Should Menji open it?
- 2:00Speaker 6: Menji should open it.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Menji, you should open that note.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Grab it. Oh, it's a card.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Greg, it's a card.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Oh, lucky.
- 2:09Speaker 1: You get to open it? Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 7: All right.
- 2:11Speaker 6: Because I won't be able to read it, so go ahead.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Open it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:14Speaker 1: All right.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Just open it.
- 2:17Speaker 6: What's it say?
- 2:17Speaker 2: It says, hoi.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Hoi.
- 2:19Speaker 1: What'd he show?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it says.
- 2:20Speaker 3: It's like, hoi.
- 2:21Speaker 7: Little bear says, sometimes it helps just to know someone cares. Ah.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Then you open it up, there's a written note.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's like, hoi.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Hoi.
- 2:30Speaker 7: It says, Bubba, congrats on your first year at your
- 2:33Speaker 7: job at iHeart, even though I'm.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Eh of your job. Oh, is this from your girlfriend?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Proud of you, Bubbs.
- 2:45Speaker 7: Hopefully making moves. A little embarrassment on your cake. Love
- 2:49Speaker 7: you bunches.
- 2:50Speaker 3: And over here on the.
- 2:53Speaker 7: Side from Boo Boo's, I love you, Dad.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Oh, sweet.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Let me say it. Has it been a year? Wow.
- 3:01Speaker 3: It's been a year. Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Congrats on your first year at your job at iHeart,
- 3:05Speaker 2: even though I'm eh about your job.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Eh. Why?
- 3:12Speaker 3: Well, because all the.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Wonderful things you said.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:16Speaker 2: We said nothing about her personally. It was just about
- 3:19Speaker 2: going back with an ex. And if it works out, great.
- 3:21Speaker 2: We want what's best for Menju because we love Menju.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't know Boo Boo. You know what?
- 3:25Speaker 2: We have something in common.
- 3:26Speaker 3: We both.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Love Menji.
- 3:27Speaker 3: That's right.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I'm not going to call him Bubz. Bubbo, whatever. What's
- 3:33Speaker 2: the strawberry about?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Oh, so she's, we call her the little strawberry. Oh,
- 3:38Speaker 1: the little.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Okay, the kid. The kid.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Gotcha. Boo-boos is strawberry. Are you following?
- 3:45Speaker 3: Well, no, I got it.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Like strawberry, blueberry, boo-boos. It's like hoi.
- 3:49Speaker 3: So what's in the box?
- 3:51Speaker 1: What's in the box? Looks like a.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yeah, where'd you get it?
- 3:55Speaker 1: Hoyt.org.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Hoyt.org.
- 3:57Speaker 1: All right.
- 3:57Speaker 3: He's trying to crack that open.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Let's see if she has good taste in cakes.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you better open that cake quickly because Seabass is
- 4:06Speaker 2: licking his lips over there.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Morgan's laughing already. What is it? It's a big old cake.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Yeah, it says, congrats, Bubba, one year at iHeart.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I like how she says one year at iHeart, not
- 4:18Speaker 2: one year at the Woody's. I'll mention the big company.
- 4:22Speaker 5: The giant conglomerate.
- 4:25Speaker 3: She knows where the bread is buttered.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It's like, hoy. Wow. That was very nice.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Now, I want to see you eat that cake first.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 3: We're the canary. We're the canary. You're the tester, buddy boy.
- 4:37Speaker 2: You better eat that cake first.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Let's us.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Bubba.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it ain't for us. We've glossed over a big
- 4:42Speaker 3: part of that note. Hopefully making moves. aka i don't
- 4:46Speaker 3: like this job.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah you need to move on no i mean like
- 4:49Speaker 2: you know she he's uh you know he's moving up
- 4:51Speaker 2: in the.
- 4:51Speaker 8: World well but is he though what is he what's
- 4:52Speaker 8: he done the past year to move up what are
- 4:54Speaker 8: you talking about this was.
- 4:56Speaker 7: A move this is probably the uh the biggest move
- 5:00Speaker 7: yeah this was a chance for him to grow coming
- 5:01Speaker 7: here the last station i was at was over 10
- 5:04Speaker 7: years yeah he was there a long time and he
- 5:06Speaker 7: had you know he had out he had outgrown the.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Uh the cage what's next you know uh Oh, directing movies.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Directing movies? Yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Who knows?
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. We'll find out. None of these
- 5:16Speaker 2: jobs for any of us are forever.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I don't know what's next. It's true. Apparently, just death.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Apparently, Alan. Apparently, it's like, hoi. It's like, hoi.
- 5:26Speaker 1: That's it.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Well, congratulations on your one year.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Here at iHeartRadio.
- 5:31Speaker 3: One year at iHeart. That's amazing.
- 5:32Speaker 1: At iHeart. That's amazing.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Yeah, not the Woody Show.
- 5:34Speaker 2: All right, congratulations, Bubba.
- 5:36Speaker 3: We are a heavy metal band.
- 5:38Speaker 5: I mean, everybody knows that.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Wait, wait, hold on. Wait, wait, hold on.
- 5:42Speaker 9: Where am I?
- 5:43Speaker 3: The Woody Show. So there's this neighborhood in Florida.
- 5:49Speaker 2: They've been dealing with a nasty issue. They keep finding
- 5:53Speaker 2: feces everywhere.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Oh, no. Feces.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Feces.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Cocker.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Reports say That the homeowners, they were finding, you know, poo-poo. Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 2: on their cars, their mailboxes, in their yard, even in
- 6:09Speaker 2: the community food pantries.
- 6:11Speaker 1: What?
- 6:12Speaker 2: And none of them could figure out where is this
- 6:14Speaker 2: caca coming from? So they got together, you know, tried
- 6:18Speaker 2: to figure out what was going on. And they discovered
- 6:21Speaker 2: that it was coming from one of their neighbors.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Psycho. And she was.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Taking cereal dumps. She just whenever she was out exercising
- 6:32Speaker 2: and she would just, you know, drop, drop logs.
- 6:36Speaker 3: You don't hear that a lot from the ladies.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 6:38Speaker 6: We did, though, like a couple of years ago. Remember,
- 6:40Speaker 6: there was like some serial jogger pooping.
- 6:43Speaker 1: In somebody's yard. Yeah.
- 6:44Speaker 2: So caught on very crystal clear 4K security cameras. And
- 6:48Speaker 2: so the cops, they came, they arrested her for dumping.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Is this like a kink? Like, what do you do
- 6:53Speaker 3: this for? Is this to get back at your neighbors?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Are your bowels that uncontrollable?
- 6:57Speaker 3: Do you hate the community food pantry?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Do you hate mailboxes? See, that's the part. Like, it's
- 7:02Speaker 2: one thing if you're out. I think we've all been
- 7:04Speaker 2: in an emergency dump situation where you're.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Like, oh, man.
- 7:07Speaker 3: If this gets really bad where I can't even camel anymore.
- 7:10Speaker 1: And you're doing it in the front yard.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Where am I going to do this? And you at
- 7:13Speaker 2: least consider whether you actually have to go through with
- 7:15Speaker 2: it or not. you at least consider what your options are. Yeah,
- 7:18Speaker 2: but why would you choose the food pantry? Why would
- 7:20Speaker 2: you choose people's cars? Like, you're doing this a number
- 7:23Speaker 2: of times, so clearly it's intentional. It's not an emergency.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You're doing it on purpose.
- 7:27Speaker 3: You either love poop or you hate your neighbors.
- 7:29Speaker 1: With purpose, yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Neighbors are weird.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Malicious.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Sammy, what happened? Didn't your neighbor ask you, what was it,
- 7:36Speaker 2: with the squirrel?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yes.
- 7:37Speaker 9: Did you hear?
- 7:37Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Did she tell you about this? No, I guess not.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Oh, my neighbors. My neighbor came aggressively knocking on my door,
- 7:45Speaker 5: frantically yelling my name. And I opened the door and
- 7:49Speaker 5: she's crying. And I was like, oh, my God, is
- 7:52Speaker 5: everything OK? And she says no. And I'm like, you know,
- 7:56Speaker 5: she's older. She's like in her late 70s probably. And
- 7:59Speaker 5: she knows like, hey, if you need anything, I'm here.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 8:02Speaker 2: So I'm thinking I'm.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Going to drive to the hospital or something like what's
- 8:04Speaker 5: going on. She's like, my squirrel died. So she has
- 8:09Speaker 5: a squirrel in the neighborhood that she named and has
- 8:12Speaker 5: been feeding for like probably about a year. Her dog
- 8:17Speaker 5: passed away. She's not in a position to get another pet.
- 8:19Speaker 5: So she walks around the neighborhood and says hi to
- 8:22Speaker 5: all the dogs. And she has this squirrel that she feeds.
- 8:25Speaker 5: And it died. And so I'm hugging her because I
- 8:28Speaker 5: feel bad and she's crying.
- 8:29Speaker 3: And then... Here's a question. How does she know that's
- 8:32Speaker 3: her squirrel?
- 8:33Speaker 5: It is the same one because it's a little bit
- 8:35Speaker 5: chunkier than the rest.
- 8:37Speaker 3: It falls around because.
- 8:39Speaker 5: She's feeding it. And so I'm hugging her. And then
- 8:43Speaker 5: I take a step back and she's like, is it
- 8:45Speaker 5: OK if I barrel the squirrel in your yard? Now,
- 8:48Speaker 5: at that moment, then I notice she's clutching a trash
- 8:52Speaker 5: bag that has a squirrel in it.
- 8:54Speaker 3: And I was hugging her.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Why does she have to bury it in your yard?
- 8:59Speaker 2: What's wrong with her yard?
- 9:00Speaker 5: So we're both in apartments, but I'm like a front
- 9:04Speaker 5: unit of a complex. So it feels very house like
- 9:07Speaker 5: and I kind of had a yard in front. And
- 9:09Speaker 5: she's in more of a complex, and the gardeners wouldn't
- 9:12Speaker 5: let her bury it.
- 9:13Speaker 2: She wants it in your front yard?
- 9:15Speaker 5: What?
- 9:16Speaker 9: She wants it in your front yard?
- 9:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I mean, it's not my yard either. With the little tombstone.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:23Speaker 5: So I said, okay, because I don't care. And I
- 9:25Speaker 5: just let her do it in the corner. I'm like, sure,
- 9:27Speaker 5: go ahead.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Bury your squirrel. That's fine. And so she was like,
- 9:32Speaker 5: I have garden tools, whatever. Okay. She buries the squirrel,
- 9:36Speaker 5: and I see kind of where it was. It's a corner.
- 9:39Speaker 9: It's non-disruptive.
- 9:40Speaker 5: No big deal.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Maybe it's a test to see if you'll help her
- 9:43Speaker 2: bury a body. She's going to have a bigger question later.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Slippery slope.
- 9:48Speaker 5: And the next day, I see this kind of green
- 9:51Speaker 5: balloon thing on the ground by it, and I'm like,
- 9:53Speaker 5: I have a memorial for a squirrel, but still not
- 9:57Speaker 5: worried about it. Go to bed. I wake up early to,
- 10:01Speaker 5: you know, I'm going to do stuff. I'm rushing out
- 10:03Speaker 5: the door. And you guys. OK, she didn't bury it
- 10:08Speaker 5: that deep. I mean, a raccoon or something got it,
- 10:12Speaker 5: because it was barely buried. I saw the squirrel tail
- 10:18Speaker 5: out front, and then there was blood all over the sidewalk.
- 10:23Speaker 5: And there was a membrane of sorts.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It just kind of scattered.
- 10:28Speaker 5: And I'm thinking, oh, no, like she's going to melt
- 10:31Speaker 5: down when she sees this. But I didn't have time,
- 10:33Speaker 5: number one.
- 10:34Speaker 3: To clean up this crime scene.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I know.
- 10:37Speaker 5: And I also was like, I also don't have the
- 10:39Speaker 5: tools really to be picking this stuff up. And it's
- 10:42Speaker 5: pretty gross. I left. And I don't know if she
- 10:48Speaker 5: ever saw it before it got cleaned up or not.
- 10:51Speaker 2: You should have called the police. That's abusive, of course.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I know.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I feel so bad. That's frowned upon.
- 10:56Speaker 6: You should have called Homeland Security.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yes, exactly.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Greg's got the number.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Do you need to file a report?
- 11:02Speaker 9: Just in case.
- 11:04Speaker 5: I mean, you guys, this squirrel though really was like
- 11:06Speaker 5: a pet to her. This was not my first time
- 11:08Speaker 5: hearing of a squirrel. She fed it every day. She
- 11:10Speaker 5: talked about it all the time. It was, I felt
- 11:13Speaker 5: so bad because she can't have pets and she was,
- 11:15Speaker 5: Because her dog passed away less than a year ago.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 5: And this has been her like pseudo pet. And oh,
- 11:22Speaker 5: my God.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I don't think she needs another pet. Oh, my God.
- 11:25Speaker 3: I forgot to tell you how it died.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I would limit my interaction with this person. Yeah. This
- 11:30Speaker 2: person sounds crazy.
- 11:31Speaker 7: Wait, wait.
- 11:32Speaker 6: I want to hear.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I know how it died.
- 11:34Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh. It's so sad.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Like high cholesterol?
- 11:37Speaker 9: Because she feeds it.
- 11:39Speaker 5: She had fed it its little treat, and they take
- 11:41Speaker 5: their little treat, and they run off with it. So
- 11:43Speaker 5: it took its treat and ran off into the street and.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Got hit by a car.
- 11:46Speaker 5: She watched it happen.
- 11:47Speaker 3: She fed it, and.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Then it ran out into the street and immediately got
- 11:51Speaker 5: hit by a car.
- 11:52Speaker 3: So she has survivor's guilt.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 11:54Speaker 5: It was the worst. I feel so bad.
- 11:57Speaker 9: Have you talked to her since? Does she know it
- 11:59Speaker 9: got dug up?
- 11:59Speaker 5: No, because I haven't seen her in a while.
- 12:02Speaker 6: She probably found the squirrel guts and had a heart attack.
- 12:06Speaker 9: No, you need to call for a welfare check on
- 12:08Speaker 9: her is what you need to do.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Well, I saw her yesterday for the first time from
- 12:12Speaker 5: a distance. But I was busy running around and didn't
- 12:15Speaker 5: have time to get into it.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Did she have like a black veil? Have you ever seen.
- 12:19Speaker 2: The video where people are releasing doves and they get
- 12:21Speaker 2: taken out by a tractor trailer? Because they start flying
- 12:24Speaker 2: toward the road and then truck comes. It just takes
- 12:27Speaker 2: out immediately. Or like where kids will bring something down
- 12:31Speaker 2: to the river or wherever it is. And as soon
- 12:35Speaker 2: as it goes in, then here comes something else to
- 12:37Speaker 2: eat it.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I was at a wedding once and instead of throwing rice,
- 12:40Speaker 1: they had these little boxes and you open it. and
- 12:43Speaker 1: effing butterflies.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Oh my God, your worst nightmare.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So I opened it. Mine had some sort of weird
- 12:47Speaker 1: broken wing or something and it fell to the ground
- 12:49Speaker 1: and I stomped on it.
- 12:52Speaker 6: Great monster.
- 12:54Speaker 5: I'm surprised that you were even willing to open a
- 12:56Speaker 5: box with a butterfly in it.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Tell me about it.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Wow.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Oh my God, that's so horrifying.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Does this woman know that there's about 80 million other
- 13:04Speaker 1: squirrels out there? She can adopt another one.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Just shake a bag of peanuts.
- 13:08Speaker 5: She had an attachment to this one for sure. And
- 13:12Speaker 5: it just is because I know that she wants another animal.
- 13:15Speaker 5: She's just not in a position to get one.
- 13:17Speaker 3: She's not mentally in a position to get one. No, no,
- 13:21Speaker 3: this is, there's, this is not okay.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Just tell her you moved.
- 13:23Speaker 1: 877-44-Woody.
- 13:24Speaker 3: All right.
- 13:24Speaker 2: So a couple of things on the text. So, you know,
- 13:37Speaker 2: everybody's big on conspiracy theories now, right? More so than ever.
- 13:44Speaker 2: The conspiracy theory stuff has gone wild.
- 13:48Speaker 6: There's so many breakdowns of that.
- 13:49Speaker 2: To where even, you know, these conspiracy theories, they launch,
- 13:52Speaker 2: they take off on social media, and then they make the, quote, news. Okay,
- 13:56Speaker 2: so we keep talking about being able to identify AI images,
- 14:00Speaker 2: AI music, AI whatever, and it has to be tagged or,
- 14:06Speaker 2: you know, somehow make it public that, hey, this is
- 14:09Speaker 2: AI generated.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 14:11Speaker 2: How can we figure out to identify that we have
- 14:15Speaker 2: verified accounts, but like to where it labels it as
- 14:18Speaker 2: a bot, you know, like in your phone, I'll say
- 14:20Speaker 2: potential spam.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Yep.
- 14:22Speaker 2: It'll say, you know, it goes into the junk folders
- 14:25Speaker 2: on email.
- 14:26Speaker 6: Right.
- 14:27Speaker 2: There's got to be a way that these companies menace,
- 14:30Speaker 2: and you're more of a tech guy when it comes
- 14:32Speaker 2: to all that social media crap. There's got to be
- 14:34Speaker 2: a way. So when you're looking through comments on something
- 14:37Speaker 2: or something posted, oh, this is from a bot account
- 14:42Speaker 2: or most likely a bot account.
- 14:43Speaker 6: Yeah, like a clear-minded person can look at a profile
- 14:46Speaker 6: and go, okay, this account has big bot energy.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Can they, though?
- 14:51Speaker 3: Yo, but no.
- 14:52Speaker 2: The average person?
- 14:53Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 14:54Speaker 6: I said a clear-headed person. A clear-headed person. A savvy
- 14:59Speaker 6: person would see it, but here's the problem. There's people
- 15:03Speaker 6: like my mom who are not going to look at
- 15:05Speaker 6: the profile, and they're going to automatically see it.
- 15:08Speaker 3: If Greg looked at the profile, would Greg know? Greg's smart.
- 15:11Speaker 3: He's not tech-savvy.
- 15:12Speaker 1: No.
- 15:12Speaker 2: But he's a smart guy.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Would he know?
- 15:16Speaker 2: What do you look for?
- 15:16Speaker 3: He might be able to be fooled.
- 15:18Speaker 1: These days, I assume... Everything is fake. Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 6: I mean, you look like, oh, does the profile even
- 15:25Speaker 6: has a picture of a person on it? I mean,
- 15:29Speaker 6: what's the history of them posting and things like that?
- 15:33Speaker 6: But again, you're asking, can the companies see.
- 15:38Speaker 2: These accounts and shut them down? I don't know.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Some of them don't want to shut them down because...
- 15:46Speaker 6: I mean, it causes traffic on their site and makes
- 15:49Speaker 6: them look bigger than they are. You know, so, I mean,
- 15:52Speaker 6: that was a big thing when Elon Musk bought Twitter.
- 15:55Speaker 6: He was talking about, you know, oh, that they're actually
- 16:00Speaker 6: fighting in court over it because of the amount of
- 16:03Speaker 6: real versus fake profiles.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Yeah, like, why am I paying for these fake bots?
- 16:07Speaker 2: But they're automatically skimming accounts looking for things, you know,
- 16:10Speaker 2: fights or different things they don't want shown and it
- 16:13Speaker 2: flags it. Yeah, Seabass, Carton Arcs.
- 16:16Speaker 8: Both, both, a lot of the accounts or a lot
- 16:18Speaker 8: of the companies are doing this. Like Twitter or X
- 16:20Speaker 8: has started doing this, this guy's likely in another country.
- 16:23Speaker 8: Like this person's from China or Iceland. And he's like, okay,
- 16:26Speaker 8: that's probably a bot. Facebook even, because I'm starting to see,
- 16:30Speaker 8: I was telling Menace, a lot of really real looking
- 16:34Speaker 8: nature videos.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Dude.
- 16:35Speaker 8: And I was watching this one chase. I'm like, there's
- 16:37Speaker 8: no way they have a camera angle watching this mongoose
- 16:39Speaker 8: fight a, you know.
- 16:40Speaker 3: A cobra or whatever.
- 16:41Speaker 8: And then I looked at him and flagged like, ai
- 16:43Speaker 8: content you know right you know.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Like the like the bear protecting the cub yeah the
- 16:48Speaker 2: avalanche real bad ones on youtube there was one like
- 16:52Speaker 2: a like a horse protecting a woman in an earthquake.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I just saw a shark fighting a killer whale.
- 16:57Speaker 6: But again like my mom my mom is like setting
- 17:02Speaker 6: this and sharing it not even like thinking twice right
- 17:06Speaker 6: so then that's how it just like becomes viral.
- 17:09Speaker 8: Because even the little warnings, yeah, the dumb people, not
- 17:11Speaker 8: the dumb people, but the technologically unsavvy folks will just
- 17:14Speaker 8: share it.
- 17:15Speaker 3: But again, the lie will.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Spread twice as fast.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Yeah, so then this is how these conspiracy theories just
- 17:20Speaker 6: grow so quick.
- 17:22Speaker 2: This one says, I was on the verge of tears
- 17:23Speaker 2: seeing a dog save a baby from falling by putting
- 17:27Speaker 2: its body under the baby before it hit the ground.
- 17:30Speaker 2: And I was so pissed to find out it was AI.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 17:34Speaker 6: Ew. Ew.
- 17:39Speaker 3: You can't please all the people all the time. No.
- 17:41Speaker 6: What?
- 17:42Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:43Speaker 2: We try.
- 17:43Speaker 3: I do.
- 17:45Speaker 2: But, you know, you're guaranteed to fail when you try
- 17:48Speaker 2: to please all the people all the time.
- 17:49Speaker 9: It's not possible.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Now, some people, considering, you know, you get what you
- 17:53Speaker 2: pay for because the show is free, right? People do
- 17:59Speaker 2: take a lot of time out of their life to
- 18:01Speaker 2: send emails, text. There was this person... The other day,
- 18:06Speaker 2: because we could see like a history of, you know,
- 18:08Speaker 2: when you text in. Even if it was a couple
- 18:10Speaker 2: of years ago, it was the last time you sent
- 18:11Speaker 2: a text. We see it.
- 18:12Speaker 1: The whole thing.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Somebody was bitching about something yesterday on the show.
- 18:16Speaker 3: And then Gina clicked on it.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And their text history said that, well, I'm.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Sending myself to the crossroads. That was three years ago.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, right. And yet they're still here.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Yeah. So we try our best because, you know, look,
- 18:32Speaker 2: it's a toxic relationship at times. You're getting so upset.
- 18:36Speaker 2: You're sending emails and text messages and things like that.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 18:40Speaker 2: And so we feel like every once in a while
- 18:42Speaker 2: it's time to clean house. A little spring cleaning with
- 18:45Speaker 2: a trip to the Woody Show Crossroads.
- 18:47Speaker 1: No.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I know.
- 18:48Speaker 6: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 18:50Speaker 2: That's what we got this time around.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 19:05Speaker 2: All right, so sometimes it's just best to go our
- 19:07Speaker 2: separate ways and send these listeners to the crossroads because
- 19:10Speaker 2: I don't really think there's much we could do to
- 19:13Speaker 2: keep them or get them back. And so off to
- 19:15Speaker 2: the crossroads now. There's a couple different things. They can
- 19:17Speaker 2: either send an email directly to us, email at thewoodyshow.com.
- 19:20Speaker 2: A lot of times they'll just go to the radio
- 19:22Speaker 2: station's website and there's that little contact us link. And
- 19:26Speaker 2: that sends emails to, yes, the management, but then also
- 19:29Speaker 2: to some of the other DJs here at the station.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Because a lot of times it's like, oh, I was
- 19:32Speaker 2: listening and you played a song. What song was that?
- 19:34Speaker 2: But everybody sees it.
- 19:35Speaker 7: Right.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 19:37Speaker 2: This one sent to the Woody Show email, email at thewoodyshow.com.
- 19:40Speaker 2: This is from Carol. Subject, another lost listener. Another one.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I'm so disappointed in what this show has become.
- 19:49Speaker 3: We all know.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Sea bass has some kind of personality disorder but during
- 19:54Speaker 2: a this week an audio segment he seriously pissed me
- 19:57Speaker 2: off joking about southwest and having a new rule which
- 20:01Speaker 2: he called quote fatties pay more that's what they call
- 20:04Speaker 2: it I expect that from a person like Seabass, but
- 20:07Speaker 2: for the entire crew to pile on with the jokes,
- 20:10Speaker 2: laughing at the idea of fat people getting weighed at
- 20:13Speaker 2: the zoo instead of the hospital. Shut up, you fat
- 20:17Speaker 2: phobic boomers. We're not so scared of boomers.
- 20:21Speaker 3: We're irrationally afraid.
- 20:22Speaker 6: Our parents are boomers.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Just so you know, that's not something people choose for
- 20:26Speaker 2: fun or for TV. It's something tied to real bodies
- 20:29Speaker 2: and real struggles.
- 20:30Speaker 3: They chose to, they choose it for fun.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Choose to do it. It's fun to eat.
- 20:35Speaker 3: It is.
- 20:37Speaker 6: We're trying to problem solve, like, you know, just putting
- 20:40Speaker 6: chairs right at the entrance.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:42Speaker 6: Just like any theme park.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I used to be someone who had to get weighed
- 20:47Speaker 2: on a heavy-duty digital platform scale at the hospital. And
- 20:50Speaker 2: because of weight bias, I don't even get weighed at
- 20:53Speaker 2: the doctor anymore because I don't trust that I won't
- 20:56Speaker 2: be judged or treated differently because of it.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Oh, it's just because they can eyeball it by now?
- 21:00Speaker 1: Right. You need a scale to figure that out? Four
- 21:02Speaker 1: or five. Whatever. Doesn't matter.
- 21:03Speaker 2: You were all just mean.
- 21:05Speaker 6: Yep.
- 21:06Speaker 2: It was honestly humiliating to listen to, and this kind
- 21:08Speaker 2: of stuff has real-life consequences. I've decided to let all
- 21:11Speaker 2: of my friends know about what you said, and everyone
- 21:14Speaker 2: I know has said that they refuse to listen to
- 21:16Speaker 2: you or the station at all anymore because of it.
- 21:19Speaker 3: The consequence was free advertising.
- 21:21Speaker 2: So when you see the drop in the ratings, you'll
- 21:24Speaker 2: know it was me, and you'll know why.
- 21:26Speaker 1: You'll know exactly who it was.
- 21:28Speaker 3: And the pounds. Yeah, the drop in the scale.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:31Speaker 2: You aren't as cool as you all think you are.
- 21:33Speaker 2: You guys are fat and ugly. So we should be
- 21:35Speaker 2: able to grow the F up.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Already and leave big people alone. You guys, we have lost.
- 21:40Speaker 3: We have to leave ourselves alone.
- 21:43Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Ugly phobic.
- 21:45Speaker 6: They're going to call their friend.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Damn it, Seabass. Carol's gone.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Carol.
- 21:52Speaker 6: Carol.
- 21:53Speaker 3: I know a guy who'll hook up with you.
- 21:55Speaker 2: His name's Tyler. Hopefully that'll take the edge off.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Tyler, you want the email?
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, we got you.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Are you a milk mama? Yeah.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Oh, that's right. He's a milk mama.
- 22:04Speaker 3: He loves milk mama.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yeah, he loves that.
- 22:05Speaker 8: Because as Menace has always said, the reason these fat
- 22:08Speaker 8: bitches are so angry is because they haven't gotten laid.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:10Speaker 3: And Tyler's here to help.
- 22:11Speaker 1: At Menace.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:13Speaker 3: All right. What? Do you want one more?
- 22:16Speaker 1: What do you show?
- 22:16Speaker 3: Crossroads? No.
- 22:20Speaker 2: What a show email from Mia. A plea from a mother.
- 22:26Speaker 2: What's with all the fighting?
- 22:28Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It says, I am a mother of a young son
- 22:32Speaker 2: who has bad anger issues, and it means I do
- 22:36Speaker 2: not get to brush off the way violence is portrayed
- 22:39Speaker 2: in the media. And lately, I feel like your morning show,
- 22:42Speaker 2: The Woody Show, has become increasingly careless about how casually
- 22:47Speaker 2: violence and fighting are being talked about. And you put
- 22:50Speaker 2: me in a position where I have to put my
- 22:52Speaker 2: foot down as a mom and stop listening.
- 22:55Speaker 1: We did that.
- 22:56Speaker 2: One of the members on the show is going to
- 22:58Speaker 2: be in a boxing fight. A woman, which is interesting
- 23:02Speaker 2: and trashy, but that's a conversation for a different time.
- 23:06Speaker 9: I mean, yes, it can be seen as trashy.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Women should not be allowed to fight.
- 23:09Speaker 2: The bigger issue isn't personal. It's about all fighting and
- 23:13Speaker 2: turning something serious into light entertainment. It's not even entertaining.
- 23:18Speaker 3: It's not bare-knuckle brawling.
- 23:19Speaker 2: All that's happening here is normalizing and promoting violence.
- 23:23Speaker 8: Yep.
- 23:23Speaker 2: My son, who, as I mentioned, already has anger issues,
- 23:26Speaker 2: got into watching things like UFC and various videos of
- 23:29Speaker 2: fights online, and it resulted into him constantly getting into
- 23:33Speaker 2: fights at school.
- 23:34Speaker 9: Maybe he should start training.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Yeah, right?
- 23:36Speaker 2: Make some money from it. He's never in the car
- 23:40Speaker 2: during the fighting talk, but if he were to hear it,
- 23:43Speaker 2: it would only.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Encourage him to do it more.
- 23:44Speaker 9: Follow your dreams, kid.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Stop promoting violence. That is from Mia. We've lost Mia.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Thanks, Morgan.
- 23:52Speaker 6: He wouldn't be so angry if his mom wasn't such
- 23:56Speaker 6: a rag, you.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying?
- 23:59Speaker 3: Exactly. On Instagram. You're totally right, though, Morgan. Use that
- 24:05Speaker 3: and make it productive. Have him join you.
- 24:08Speaker 9: Or raise your kid better.
- 24:12Speaker 3: It sounds like she's just a bad mom.
- 24:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Hashtag.
- 24:18Speaker 2: They clearly know how to get a hold of us.
- 24:20Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 24:22Speaker 1: What a show.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Crossroads, everybody.
- 24:23Speaker 8: Wow.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Again, taking a nice dump.
- 24:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Fresh light.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Moving forward. No more anchors, right?
- 24:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 3: This is The Woody Show.
- 24:37Speaker 2: See, and for every listener that says that.
- 24:39Speaker 3: They're gone, that we've lost.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Forever. We're always picking up new people. This is the
- 24:46Speaker 2: first time that a number of people on the text,
- 24:47Speaker 2: at least, have ever heard the Crossroads.
- 24:49Speaker 1: We've been doing.
- 24:50Speaker 2: That for years. These mean tweets are hilarious.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Mean tweets.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Keep it coming. Yeah, 562, thank you for that. Oh,
- 24:58Speaker 2: this is nice. Nothing like a little wake and bake
- 25:00Speaker 2: in the Woody show. I've been cracking up this morning.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Thank you, Kelly.
- 25:03Speaker 7: Thanks.
- 25:05Speaker 2: This one came in 724. Hey there, Woody Show. I
- 25:08Speaker 2: started listening a while ago and I didn't like it much.
- 25:11Speaker 2: It was my husband's station. But now I love this show.
- 25:15Speaker 2: It's like sitting around and listening to friends talk. All in. Oh, P.S.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Today is my birthday.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Happy birthday.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Happy birthday.
- 25:24Speaker 2: And thank you for the text. Send your text over
- 25:26Speaker 2: to 22987. Greg, you said you had some kind of
- 25:31Speaker 2: show and tell for us.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Oh, show and tell, yeah. It's just Well, you already
- 25:35Speaker 1: know what it is, Woody.
- 25:36Speaker 2: He said he brought something for show and tell.
- 25:38Speaker 1: What is it?
- 25:38Speaker 7: Ooh.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Oh.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Oh, it's the cardboard cutter.
- 25:42Speaker 1: It's the box cutter because poor Gina is dealing with
- 25:48Speaker 1: a lot more household responsibilities now that her husband is
- 25:51Speaker 1: out of commish, crippled, and she's got like 8,000 Amazon
- 25:55Speaker 1: boxes that she has to break down. And this thing,
- 25:57Speaker 1: the box cutter- Makes.
- 25:59Speaker 6: It so easy.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Because I'm sure all those Amazon boxes are Andes, right?
- 26:03Speaker 3: Well, technically, they're full of wheelchairs and toilet railings right now,
- 26:07Speaker 3: but yeah.
- 26:07Speaker 6: You keep on saying box cutter, and it's making it
- 26:10Speaker 6: sound like it's an electric box cutter.
- 26:12Speaker 2: It's a cardboard cutter.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Cardboard cutter.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Because of box cutters.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Look at Menace caring about semantics.
- 26:17Speaker 6: No, no, no.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I've been saying, like... Wasn't a box cutter also called
- 26:20Speaker 2: a utility knife?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 26:21Speaker 6: Yeah, that's another name for it.
- 26:22Speaker 2: So that's technically what it's called, a utility knife, right?
- 26:25Speaker 3: It's larger than I thought it would be. Yeah, it
- 26:27Speaker 3: looks like.
- 26:27Speaker 1: It is? It's about the size of a stapler.
- 26:30Speaker 3: It looks like a can opener, maybe? About the size
- 26:31Speaker 3: of a stapler, my ass. No, I think so. It's
- 26:34Speaker 3: about the size of a... Jeez, you guys are so nitpicky.
- 26:37Speaker 3: I know. It's not a box cutter.
- 26:39Speaker 1: It's not a stapler.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Here's the thing. Seabass doesn't want to like it.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Because it's... Old ladies.
- 26:45Speaker 1: No, it's not for old ladies. Yeah, you take a
- 26:47Speaker 1: task and you make it easier. That dummy.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Menace of all people should be on board with that.
- 26:50Speaker 6: You're scaring me putting your finger next to it.
- 26:53Speaker 3: This isn't a blade. Oh, okay.
- 26:54Speaker 1: That's not a blade.
- 26:55Speaker 3: It's like the size of a very large hair clipper. Yeah. Yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 6: No, it's not.
- 26:59Speaker 1: It is. Oh, I see.
- 27:01Speaker 3: I was going to say, where do you put your finger?
- 27:03Speaker 8: I see.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I got it, guys.
- 27:06Speaker 3: I got it.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Send it over to Seabass.
- 27:08Speaker 8: Yeah, is it a reciprocating blade or a circular saw?
- 27:11Speaker 2: It's spinny.
- 27:11Speaker 5: We live in a time of luxury. Why wouldn't you
- 27:14Speaker 5: use it?
- 27:15Speaker 1: Because it is so easy. It makes the chore so
- 27:18Speaker 1: much better.
- 27:19Speaker 3: So yeah, so it's a spinny, it's spinny.
- 27:21Speaker 2: You would think a guy who preaches all the time
- 27:24Speaker 2: about saving time would appreciate anything that would save time.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Because this is certainly, it's certainly faster. It makes that
- 27:31Speaker 2: task way more efficient.
- 27:32Speaker 3: It does. I will say this.
- 27:34Speaker 8: My point is, and Menace's point is, if you grew
- 27:36Speaker 8: up at all with any kind of manliness to you,
- 27:39Speaker 8: It's real fast to break down a box, like super
- 27:41Speaker 8: duper fast.
- 27:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I think I just might have.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Guess what? This is faster. Yeah.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Go to the drawer, get this thing out. We grew
- 27:47Speaker 3: up just ripping boxes apart. And you gotta put your
- 27:49Speaker 3: tampon in before you use this.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Oh my God.
- 27:51Speaker 2: You know where I leave that? I leave ours in
- 27:53Speaker 2: the garage right before I go out the door to
- 27:55Speaker 2: where the garbage cans are to put the boxes into
- 27:58Speaker 2: the recycle bin.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Yeah, and we have one of those like- I don't
- 28:00Speaker 3: keep it upstairs in a lockbox.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I have to go and collect it.
- 28:03Speaker 3: It's not in the gun vault. We have one of
- 28:05Speaker 3: those just like, it looks like a steak knife almost,
- 28:07Speaker 3: and it sucks. And I'm so excited to use this.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I'm going to go get a cardboard box. We'll find out.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 28:12Speaker 3: All right. Don't waste it.
- 28:13Speaker 1: It just sucks making chores easier.
- 28:14Speaker 6: I would like to try it. it's just i think
- 28:17Speaker 6: it's just maybe the nostalgia for me of using a
- 28:20Speaker 6: box cutter the nostalgia at work yeah i'm just like
- 28:24Speaker 6: i don't know there's just an art form of this
- 28:25Speaker 6: feeling guys but i'm like having to put boxes in
- 28:27Speaker 6: the recycling bin i just get overcome.
- 28:29Speaker 10: With nostalgia i do because i had a job of
- 28:33Speaker 10: using a box cutter like every single day and this
- 28:36Speaker 10: is just an art form of cutting down a box
- 28:38Speaker 10: quickly with the a.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Box cutter for me it's the equivalent of Why use
- 28:42Speaker 1: a leaf blower? You have a broom. Just use the broom. Oh,
- 28:44Speaker 1: I'm so excited.
- 28:46Speaker 8: Well, I mean, it's going through the cardboard not as
- 28:51Speaker 8: fast as I thought.
- 28:51Speaker 3: And I'm pushing hard.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Okay.
- 28:53Speaker 6: But I will say this.
- 28:54Speaker 3: And it's going to do well on curves, corners. Okay.
- 28:57Speaker 6: Well, hold on, Seabass. Hold on, Seabass.
- 28:59Speaker 3: You know what he looks like?
- 29:00Speaker 2: I don't know if you've ever seen those infomercials where
- 29:02Speaker 2: they go. Do you have a problem keeping all your
- 29:04Speaker 2: credit cards? And then I was like.
- 29:07Speaker 8: Now.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Seabass, you.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Do you have this problem of holding your cell phone?
- 29:14Speaker 6: He did cut the box in a non-traditional way, which
- 29:17Speaker 6: it would be almost impossible to cut a box like
- 29:19Speaker 6: that with a.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Traditional box cutter.
- 29:20Speaker 8: Well, that was my question, because if you're just breaking
- 29:22Speaker 8: down the tape seams, that's so easy to do with
- 29:24Speaker 8: your hands. But I guess you guys are saying... if
- 29:26Speaker 8: you have eight-foot boxes.
- 29:27Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. The last thing I ordered was
- 29:29Speaker 1: a table, and it was like a six-foot-long box, and
- 29:31Speaker 1: they just, done.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and something huge like that, you can break down
- 29:36Speaker 2: and get to, it takes up a fraction of a
- 29:38Speaker 2: regular garbage bag.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 29:40Speaker 6: A regular box cutter in your hand, the way you
- 29:42Speaker 6: just cut it, you wouldn't be able to do that.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I do like how it has a little mini flashlight
- 29:46Speaker 3: on the top. I may do it in the dark.
- 29:50Speaker 1: You might want to do it outdoors.
- 29:51Speaker 3: I'm excited. I've taken the trash cans out. I'm doing
- 29:54Speaker 3: a lot of manly stuff.
- 29:55Speaker 8: My question is, like you pointed out, if these things
- 29:57Speaker 8: were truly time savers and useful, professionals would have them.
- 29:59Speaker 8: So like the guys, you see guys at Trader Joe's,
- 30:02Speaker 8: they have a little box cutter in their toolkit. If
- 30:05Speaker 8: it was truly a big time saver, they'd have these
- 30:07Speaker 8: things in their toolkit.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Well, maybe they don't know about it yet.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Might not know about it.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Maybe the word's not out yet.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to spread the word.
- 30:13Speaker 6: No, I don't hate it. Yeah, I don't hate it.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Glad you don't hate it. And even if you did
- 30:17Speaker 1: hate it, I wouldn't force you to.
- 30:19Speaker 2: But again, the biggest thing, the step you cannot skip
- 30:23Speaker 2: Don't forget to put your tampon.
- 30:24Speaker 1: In before you use it.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Before you operate it.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Before you. And not during either.
- 30:29Speaker 3: No.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Because it won't even work if you don't put your
- 30:31Speaker 5: tampon in.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Right. Exactly. It's got a safety switch and the tampon.
- 30:34Speaker 3: That's right.
- 30:35Speaker 2: More Woody Shows next.
- 30:36Speaker 3: The Woody Show. We'll be right back. The Woody Show.
- 30:41Speaker 3: The Woody Show.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Greg was talking about this cardboard.
- 30:47Speaker 3: The box cutter, the electronic, whatever. Like a little cardboard saw. Yeah.
- 30:52Speaker 1: It's fun.
- 30:52Speaker 2: You've seen them. They're cool. I like them. And with
- 30:55Speaker 2: the number of boxes that we all get these days, Amazon,
- 30:58Speaker 2: everything's being delivered.
- 30:59Speaker 3: I like it.
- 30:59Speaker 2: It's great breaking down boxes. And because the bin is
- 31:03Speaker 2: only so big, but when you have this, it's so
- 31:05Speaker 2: much faster to just cut things down to like 12
- 31:08Speaker 2: by 12 squares.
- 31:09Speaker 1: And frankly, safer.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Yeah, true.
- 31:12Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Safer than just having an open... Yeah.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Even though it's nostalgic for you, Mattis, it is safer.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Hey, Greg. You know what?
- 31:18Speaker 3: What?
- 31:19Speaker 6: I might buy one for my household.
- 31:21Speaker 3: What?
- 31:22Speaker 6: I'm still going to stick probably with the normal box cutter,
- 31:24Speaker 6: but if I get into a situation... Because, you know...
- 31:27Speaker 6: Some boxes are very large.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Very large.
- 31:29Speaker 6: And yeah, you can cut it in different ways.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Oh, it can make shapes. You can have fun with it.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Watching Seamass and Menace use it for the first time
- 31:37Speaker 2: was like watching a monkey with a gun. It was
- 31:39Speaker 2: kind of slow and deliberate. And then I showed you
- 31:42Speaker 2: all here. Let me show you what experience looks like.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I guess this is a good time.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Zip, zip, zip. Yeah. I was confused about that.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it goes right through it. Has anybody ever bought
- 31:52Speaker 2: something from Kickstarter?
- 31:54Speaker 3: No. Yes.
- 31:57Speaker 2: And did you get it?
- 31:59Speaker 3: No.
- 31:59Speaker 2: You never got it?
- 32:00Speaker 6: Never launched.
- 32:01Speaker 1: So you.
- 32:02Speaker 2: You invest it, but you get your money back.
- 32:04Speaker 3: You do?
- 32:05Speaker 1: You do.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Not sometimes. Yeah. I think I tried something with a
- 32:08Speaker 3: toothbrush one time, and it never heard nothing about nothing.
- 32:11Speaker 6: Oh, really?
- 32:13Speaker 1: Just into the ether, that's it?
- 32:15Speaker 6: Yeah, mine... I think the project... I forgot what it was.
- 32:18Speaker 6: It was so many years ago, but it was a
- 32:19Speaker 6: product that did not launch.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Okay, so there's this thing. It's called the Bump Box Project.
- 32:26Speaker 2: It's an old school like boom box. It's huge, but
- 32:30Speaker 2: it's got cassette. It's got CD. It's got Bluetooth. It's
- 32:33Speaker 2: got an auxiliary thing. It's supposed to sound really cool.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Like 450 Watts. Like it's supposed to be, I mean,
- 32:39Speaker 2: it'd be pretty, I think like aesthetically it'd be cool.
- 32:42Speaker 2: I'm thinking like this one area of my house, but
- 32:45Speaker 2: how people have Bluetooth speakers or, you know, uh, the
- 32:47Speaker 2: mini fridge that looks like a, like a guitar amplifier,
- 32:50Speaker 2: something cool like that. And if it sounds as good as,
- 32:53Speaker 2: you know, I've heard people who have seen it or whatever.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Now I would buy one, but it's expensive. It's like
- 33:00Speaker 2: 450 bucks. Now they have other ones that are even
- 33:02Speaker 2: more expensive than that, but they do offer ones like
- 33:04Speaker 2: 450 bucks, but I've never bought anything off of Kickstarter before.
- 33:08Speaker 2: And like, I do have a lot of, Cassettes still
- 33:12Speaker 2: from old radio shows from stations I've been on years ago.
- 33:18Speaker 2: It was a giant box. It'd be cool to be
- 33:20Speaker 2: able to play that stuff.
- 33:22Speaker 3: I actually just ordered a cassette player because I got
- 33:25Speaker 3: all my dad's old radio stuff like when he was
- 33:28Speaker 3: doing shows. So I wanted to be able to play those.
- 33:30Speaker 3: But I'm not surprised, Menace, that you said that those
- 33:32Speaker 3: are popular because I see so many people that are
- 33:36Speaker 3: like half my age now walking around with actual digital
- 33:38Speaker 3: cameras and instead of taking pictures on their phones.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I'm seeing that more and more.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Yeah, all that stuff's coming back.
- 33:43Speaker 6: Well, I told you at the Best Buy, a young
- 33:46Speaker 6: girl was at the counter, and the Best Buy worker
- 33:49Speaker 6: was teaching her how to put the SD card in
- 33:52Speaker 6: one of those type of cameras and explaining to her
- 33:54Speaker 6: how to get the photos off the camera onto her computer.
- 33:59Speaker 2: I bought quite a few things on Kickstarter, always got
- 34:02Speaker 2: the item.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Cool.
- 34:03Speaker 2: If it's something that has quite a bit of attraction...
- 34:06Speaker 2: I feel it's highly likely that you will get it,
- 34:07Speaker 2: but yes, you do run the risk of never getting it.
- 34:10Speaker 2: My question, I guess, if the money goes back to you.
- 34:12Speaker 8: Well, I don't think the money can go back to you,
- 34:14Speaker 8: because if they got the money to develop the product, what,
- 34:16Speaker 8: is Kickstarter going to pay you out of their own pocket?
- 34:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I think the one that I invested in was like... Invested.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I'm looking to invest. I go, oh, that's a cool product.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Is there a place I can just go to buy one?
- 34:27Speaker 2: Now that you have them, and now that it is
- 34:29Speaker 2: a thing, and you are producing them... Can't you just
- 34:32Speaker 2: sell them on Amazon or sell them, I don't know,
- 34:34Speaker 2: Best Buy?
- 34:35Speaker 1: Go somewhere.
- 34:35Speaker 6: Well, a lot of it, too, they already have the capital,
- 34:38Speaker 6: but they're using Kickstarter as a marketing ploy.
- 34:42Speaker 3: It looks cool.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Again, it looks cool.
- 34:44Speaker 8: My only problem with Bluetooth speakers is I have an
- 34:46Speaker 8: aversion to them because every time I'm around one, the
- 34:48Speaker 8: person is blasting something in public in.
- 34:50Speaker 3: A place where they shouldn't be doing it. Yeah.
- 34:52Speaker 2: This is from a hoose.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Right.
- 34:55Speaker 3: I went to the Kickstarter website. It says, does Kickstarter
- 34:58Speaker 3: issue refunds? This is the first sentence under that. No.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Kickstarter is not a store and we do not issue refunds.
- 35:05Speaker 3: When you back a project, you're supporting a creator's right
- 35:07Speaker 3: to make something new and agreeing to go along for
- 35:09Speaker 3: the ride. The ride, yes.
- 35:11Speaker 2: I'm looking for a ride.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I think that might be that, guys.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not looking for a ride. Yay, you lost
- 35:15Speaker 2: all your money.
- 35:17Speaker 9: I sold a pair of my dirty workout socks to
- 35:19Speaker 9: a foot freak.
- 35:20Speaker 5: I already got paid, I'm putting it in now.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Have you ever been this drunk? Yes.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Yeah. I know Greg has. 41-year-old guy in Florida. He
- 35:43Speaker 2: was having a good time. Multiple reports. Police were called.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Guy drunk out of his mind, ripping off his clothes,
- 35:51Speaker 2: banging on plywood and laying down in the middle of
- 35:54Speaker 2: a parking lot.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Fun.
- 35:56Speaker 2: After he tried running in front of some moving cars,
- 35:58Speaker 2: the cops then stopped him and they arrested him. He
- 36:02Speaker 2: asked for his phone call so he could get a
- 36:04Speaker 2: family member to come help him out. The cops agreed
- 36:06Speaker 2: to that, so the guy pulled off his shoe and
- 36:09Speaker 2: started talking into it like it was a phone. So yeah,
- 36:13Speaker 2: they hauled him off.
- 36:14Speaker 1: He was slightly confused. Yeah, I've been that drunk. Not
- 36:18Speaker 1: the ripping off the clothes thing, though.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Not at least until he gets back to the hotel room.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Although one time I did on a rooftop pool. End
- 36:25Speaker 1: up in the pool and I don't remember how I
- 36:28Speaker 1: got out of the pool or back to the room
- 36:30Speaker 1: and how I got dressed. Yeah. I mean, I'm sure
- 36:32Speaker 1: Mario did it all for you.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Sure.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Sure. Not embarrassing at all. No, no.
- 36:37Speaker 2: We've got many clips of Greg just being mega trashed.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Yeah, we can delete those.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Oh, no, that's classic audio.
- 36:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 3: In fact, if you go to any Woody Show event,
- 36:46Speaker 3: chances are.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Greg will be mega. Greg. Hammered.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Greg has now.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I've changed. Yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Greg has now gone out of his way to control himself.
- 36:57Speaker 2: And to not really let loose.
- 36:58Speaker 1: At a recent one that we all went to at
- 37:01Speaker 1: a brewery, I had half a beer.
- 37:04Speaker 3: The entire time?
- 37:05Speaker 1: The entire time.
- 37:05Speaker 3: I had more than you.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Why, Greg?
- 37:07Speaker 6: Why?
- 37:08Speaker 1: Because I'm mortified about how I've acted at previous events.
- 37:10Speaker 9: Because everyone loves it.
- 37:11Speaker 2: But that's what people are there to see.
- 37:12Speaker 10: It is.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Why even be there?
- 37:14Speaker 9: Half that crowd was there for that.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Right. Drunk Greg. They're looking to get Greg. That's what
- 37:20Speaker 3: we call it.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Because when Greg drinks... For those of you new to
- 37:22Speaker 2: the show, yeah, he goes straight. He starts getting really
- 37:26Speaker 2: interested in boobs.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Straight and semi-illegal.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Straight and gropey. Like, inappropriate. That's what is embarrassing.
- 37:34Speaker 2: So we would have, like, chicks show up to our events,
- 37:37Speaker 2: and they would say straight up to me, like, I'm
- 37:39Speaker 2: looking to get Greg'd.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Wow.
- 37:41Speaker 1: It's ridiculous. Can't do it anymore.
- 37:44Speaker 2: You know what a dream that is, Greg, for a
- 37:46Speaker 2: lot of dudes?
- 37:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:48Speaker 1: I know, just tell him you're gay, you know?
- 37:50Speaker 3: You can say anything you want.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Gay equals safe.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Because you probably forgot. If you know what I'm saying. Ah,
- 37:56Speaker 3: there he is.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 37:57Speaker 6: Now that's a fun guy.
- 37:58Speaker 9: Bring him back.
- 37:59Speaker 1: You know who else has lived their entire lives? Every
- 38:02Speaker 1: living person.
- 38:03Speaker 9: So far.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you had a very poignant point there. Menace, happy
- 38:07Speaker 1: birthday to.
- 38:09Speaker 4: If I had one wish for you, it would be
- 38:12Speaker 4: stop saying that's what I've been saying. When you think
- 38:18Speaker 4: that Facebook changed their name to Meta because of the metaverse.
- 38:23Speaker 1: And you go, oh, that's what I've been saying.
- 38:26Speaker 4: That's what motherf * * * ing Mark Zuckerberg has
- 38:29Speaker 4: been saying.
- 38:31Speaker 1: The whole world has been saying it.
- 38:32Speaker 4: You're like, oh, when it comes to socks, buy low,
- 38:37Speaker 4: sell high.
- 38:38Speaker 3: No s * * *, you.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Motherf * * * er. That's what everybody's been saying.
- 38:43Speaker 2: That's what everybody's been saying.
- 38:45Speaker 1: That person right there in that clip is very angry
- 38:48Speaker 1: and mean, but valid point.
- 38:51Speaker 6: I never said anything about the metaverse or in the
- 38:54Speaker 6: buy low, sell high thing is just a you know,
- 38:57Speaker 6: being sarcastic.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Here's Greg at another meetup that we had.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Two.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Okay, now, on a scale of one to ten, how
- 39:03Speaker 2: turnt up do you think you are?
- 39:04Speaker 3: Like a 14.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Any thoughts that you'd like to share with anybody that
- 39:08Speaker 2: you wouldn't normally sober?
- 39:09Speaker 3: That I wouldn't normally share?
- 39:11Speaker 1: Yes.
- 39:13Speaker 3: I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:15Speaker 2: I don't, I don't, I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Can make a song out of that they should make a.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Song yeah somebody did make a song out of that
- 39:21Speaker 2: actually yeah we're here.
- 39:23Speaker 3: With greg gorge good morning winning.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Any thoughts that you'd like to share with anybody that
- 39:28Speaker 2: you wouldn't normally.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Sober that I wouldn't normally share? I don't give a
- 39:32Speaker 3: f * * *. I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:34Speaker 3: I don't, I don't, I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I don't give a.
- 39:37Speaker 2: F * * *.
- 39:38Speaker 3: I don't give a f * * *. I don't,
- 39:39Speaker 3: I don't, I don't give a.
- 39:41Speaker 6: F * * *.
- 39:41Speaker 2: How many drinks have you had this evening?
- 39:43Speaker 3: Like 472. 472. 472.
- 39:50Speaker 9: F * * * you.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:52Speaker 3: I don't give a f * * *. I don't,
- 39:54Speaker 3: I don't, I don't, I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:56Speaker 3: I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I don't give a f * * *.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Who sang that song originally, Menace?
- 40:00Speaker 2: Big Sean. Big Sean.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Yeah, f * * * yeah.
- 40:03Speaker 3: My penis, my penis, my penis is under 11.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Nice. What a drunken lech.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Now that is so fun.
- 40:13Speaker 3: It sounds super fun. I'm so sorry I missed it,
- 40:16Speaker 3: but you seem genuinely disturbed by it.
- 40:19Speaker 1: It's so embarrassing. The weird thing about that night is
- 40:22Speaker 1: I would normally be blacked out. I'm not going to lie.
- 40:25Speaker 1: And I wouldn't have remembered it. But I remember it
- 40:28Speaker 1: like it was yesterday. Woody and I were in the
- 40:30Speaker 1: bathroom and we were using the urinal and I was
- 40:32Speaker 1: using my head against the wall to stand up. My
- 40:35Speaker 1: head up against the wall. And then this particular bar
- 40:40Speaker 1: was below ground level. It was kind of like a
- 40:42Speaker 1: basement bar. And I would still be there today had
- 40:45Speaker 1: Woody not essentially... He didn't carry me up the stairs.
- 40:49Speaker 1: But I kind of did like a fireman's, like, what
- 40:51Speaker 1: do you call that? Like, he helped me out of
- 40:55Speaker 1: the physical building. I got him out of the building.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Helped him up the stairs. And then there was another
- 41:01Speaker 1: time I got super wasted and Woody came to the
- 41:04Speaker 1: rescue because I was hosting that barbecue. And I forgot
- 41:08Speaker 1: to barbecue anything. And everybody would have starved to death.
- 41:11Speaker 1: But Woody did all the grilling all day long. Wow,
- 41:14Speaker 1: you're a good man, Woody.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Because I was perfect.
- 41:17Speaker 9: Party was too good.
- 41:18Speaker 3: The Woody Show.
- 41:20Speaker 1: All right, Menace, you ready?
- 41:23Speaker 3: Yes. Always.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Okay, so these are the toughest words to pronounce.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Okay.
- 41:32Speaker 2: This could just be fun.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Words aren't my forte.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Words are not his forte.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Although, and I'm not even being remotely sarcastic, it seems
- 41:42Speaker 1: like lately, and by lately I mean the last couple
- 41:44Speaker 1: of weeks... It seems like you have a bigger interest
- 41:47Speaker 1: in vocabulary. You were using some words. What did you use? Oh,
- 41:52Speaker 1: you used the word elusive.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I'm like, Menace just said elusive.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Hyperbole.
- 41:58Speaker 1: And then you were looking for other ways to say elusive.
- 42:00Speaker 1: And then an hour later you said, oh, it's my
- 42:04Speaker 1: white whale.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 42:05Speaker 1: And I was like, look at you being all into vocabulary.
- 42:08Speaker 6: Well, it was just, I don't know. I was like,
- 42:11Speaker 6: I know there's another word for this.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:13Speaker 2: So, Menace, I'm going to show you a word, and
- 42:15Speaker 2: then you pronounce it. Okay. All right? I got it
- 42:18Speaker 2: almost like flashcard style here.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Okay, ready?
- 42:20Speaker 2: All right, Menace, the first word. And then if you're listening,
- 42:22Speaker 2: I know you can't see the word, but let's see
- 42:24Speaker 2: if we can.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Is it croissant?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Croissant.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Oh.
- 42:28Speaker 2: But that's not the proper pronunciation.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Croissant. Croissant. Croissant. Croissant.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Croissant.
- 42:35Speaker 2: That's the proper pronunciation. Croissant.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Some say croissant.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Croissant.
- 42:39Speaker 1: All right. Croissant. All right.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Delicious.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Close enough.
- 42:42Speaker 3: I want a ham and cheese croissant.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Croissant. All right.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Again, these are the toughest words to pronounce. So not
- 42:49Speaker 2: just for menace, but in general for people. This is
- 42:51Speaker 2: according to Google, by the way. They know a thing
- 42:53Speaker 2: or two. All right. What about this one, menace?
- 42:56Speaker 3: Acai.
- 42:57Speaker 6: Acai.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Oh, nailed it.
- 42:58Speaker 6: Because I've had to read a lot of commercials that
- 43:00Speaker 6: say acai.
- 43:01Speaker 3: All right.
- 43:02Speaker 6: And it's very popular.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Schedule.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Wow.
- 43:07Speaker 9: These are easy for you.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Or if you're British, what is it?
- 43:10Speaker 6: Schedule. Schedule.
- 43:12Speaker 10: Schedule.
- 43:13Speaker 8: Schedule.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Schedule.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Here's another one.
- 43:18Speaker 6: Uh, Porsche.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Noise.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I am. So Porsche.
- 43:21Speaker 3: And I've only learned that from Greg.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Yeah, because that's right.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Because he corrects everybody. No, it's Porsche.
- 43:27Speaker 1: All right.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Next one. Ready?
- 43:28Speaker 1: Yes.
- 43:29Speaker 2: This is one of the toughest words to pronounce for
- 43:32Speaker 2: most people.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Um.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Oh, I like that word.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Greer? Greer.
- 43:38Speaker 9: Greer.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Greer.
- 43:40Speaker 2: G-E-N-R-E, for those of you listening at home.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Jenry? Jenry.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Do you want a hint?
- 43:49Speaker 3: Yes.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Like, oh, what kind of, this movie is in what?
- 43:53Speaker 3: Genre.
- 43:54Speaker 1: There you go. Damn.
- 43:55Speaker 2: All right, got it.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Genre. All right. Genre.
- 43:58Speaker 6: Genre.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Jenry?
- 44:02Speaker 4: Greer?
- 44:02Speaker 2: How about this one?
- 44:03Speaker 6: Okay.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Gyroscope. Gyroscope.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Our menace.
- 44:09Speaker 6: Shout out to Gyroscope.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Dude, you're killing it today, man.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:11Speaker 2: All right. Now, this one I know is tough for
- 44:14Speaker 2: a lot of people.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:15Speaker 2: I hear people, they can't even, they get tongue-tied.
- 44:17Speaker 1: All right.
- 44:19Speaker 2: It's a sauce.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 44:21Speaker 6: Worcestershire.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Worcestershire. I think that's acceptable.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Worcestershire.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Worcestershire. Worcestershire.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Worcestershire. That's pretty good.
- 44:30Speaker 1: What do you think, Greg?
- 44:31Speaker 2: I gave you the legit proper pronunciation.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Wait, that's how you say it?
- 44:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Worcestershire.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Worcestershire. Yeah.
- 44:38Speaker 6: Worcestershire.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Like W-U-H-S-T-U-H-S-H-R. Worcestershire. No kidding. Worcester. Right, exactly.
- 44:48Speaker 5: Yeah, Worcester is the county that are in Massachusetts.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Worcestershire.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Worcester, S-T-U-H, Worcestershire, S-H-R.
- 44:56Speaker 3: It's very underrated. That's the pronunciation. I thought it was Worcestershire. Worcestershire.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Worcestershire.
- 45:01Speaker 3: So you don't say the R? You don't say Worcestershire?
- 45:03Speaker 1: No.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Worcestershire. Worcestershire. Yeah, I'm going to go with Worcestershire. How
- 45:08Speaker 3: often do you even use Worcestershire sauce? Not very often.
- 45:12Speaker 9: On steak.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Like when you're braising something. Yeah. I use it.
- 45:17Speaker 6: Some salad dressing. Is that what they use for French dip?
- 45:22Speaker 6: That's au jus.
- 45:24Speaker 2: If you dip the sandwich just in straight Worcestershire. That
- 45:29Speaker 2: would be awful.
- 45:29Speaker 1: If you're making a pot roast, you put some Worcestershire
- 45:32Speaker 1: in there.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Oh, you know, when you go to the melting pot medicine,
- 45:34Speaker 2: they bring out the cheese and they're melting the cheese.
- 45:37Speaker 2: They'll put some garlic in there. They'll put like some
- 45:39Speaker 2: lager beer, a little Worcestershire.
- 45:43Speaker 6: The last time I went to the melting pot, I
- 45:45Speaker 6: think was with you.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Really?
- 45:47Speaker 6: When did our friends get married?
- 45:49Speaker 2: A billion years ago at this point.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that was the after party for us.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Worcestershire. Thank you.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Worcestershire.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Worcestershire.
- 45:57Speaker 9: No, we're all wrong.
- 45:58Speaker 2: No, that's incorrect according to Google. Now, I'm on dictionary.com for... Worcestershire.
- 46:04Speaker 1: For this.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Worcestershire.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Greg, one of your favorite things has Worcestershire in it.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Which is?
- 46:10Speaker 3: Bloody Marys.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Oh, that's right. You put a little dash of that
- 46:12Speaker 1: in there.
- 46:13Speaker 3: A little Worcestershire. Yum.
- 46:15Speaker 6: Let's see.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Does this one do it?
- 46:17Speaker 9: It's definitely Worcestershire.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Worcestershire.
- 46:19Speaker 2: It's definitely not that.
- 46:21Speaker 9: Where I'm from, it is.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Oh, where you're from.
- 46:24Speaker 2: All right, Menace, next one.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Toughest words to pronounce. On average for people.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Entrepreneur.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Nice. All right, good. Nice.
- 46:33Speaker 2: How about this one?
- 46:36Speaker 6: Uh, Massachusetts.
- 46:39Speaker 1: All right.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Again, I don't think these, a lot of these are
- 46:43Speaker 2: going to be difficult for menace, but these are just
- 46:45Speaker 2: for people in general.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 46:47Speaker 2: We do have a menace word of the day coming up.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I'm sure. I guarantee you that was not going to
- 46:51Speaker 3: be good.
- 46:51Speaker 1: All right.
- 46:52Speaker 2: What about this one?
- 46:53Speaker 1: Uh, uh, Hierarchy.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Wow.
- 46:58Speaker 9: Menace.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Menace is making this list of bitches.
- 47:01Speaker 3: What is going on?
- 47:03Speaker 1: Alternate universe.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Doing his homework.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:06Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 47:08Speaker 9: Is this Mandela effect type stuff?
- 47:10Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 47:10Speaker 3: I went into a different dimension.
- 47:12Speaker 2: It's good.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Is there a word that you guys mispronounce and you
- 47:16Speaker 1: just struggle with? For me, it's Saturday night.
- 47:19Speaker 6: Saturday night?
- 47:20Speaker 1: Like, Live from New York, it's Saturday night. You just
- 47:23Speaker 1: like trip over it.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Saturday night.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Trip over it. Saturday night.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Saturday night.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Well, no, jewelry.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, that's your word.
- 47:31Speaker 2: I'll say jewelry.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Jewelry.
- 47:33Speaker 3: Jewelry. It just naturally comes out for me that way.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Jewelry.
- 47:37Speaker 2: It's a jewelry store.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Yeah, jewelry. Yeah. Yeah, for sure.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Instead of jewelry.
- 47:41Speaker 3: Nobody says jewelry.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Well, apparently I'm the only one who says it the
- 47:45Speaker 2: way that I say it.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Oh, that's really pretty jewelry.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I think you also say fictitional.
- 47:51Speaker 2: That's not right. That's like you saying like Akana.
- 47:55Speaker 6: Oh.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Yeah, on Akana, like Greg will say that, but that's not.
- 47:59Speaker 1: But fictitional, you add a syllable instead of fictional.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Right, I know, but I'm saying it's just like a,
- 48:04Speaker 2: it's like pronunciation.
- 48:05Speaker 1: On Akana?
- 48:07Speaker 3: I was doing some.
- 48:07Speaker 2: On Akana, like yeah, it's like one of those your
- 48:10Speaker 2: own language kind of things.
- 48:12Speaker 6: I was doing some stuff with Airtasker and I was
- 48:15Speaker 6: having the hardest time saying tasks.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Say what?
- 48:19Speaker 10: Tasks.
- 48:20Speaker 1: The plural of tasks.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Yeah, adding the S. If you have one thing to do,
- 48:24Speaker 3: that's a task. A task.
- 48:25Speaker 2: If you have multiple things to do.
- 48:27Speaker 3: Tasks.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Tasks.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Kind of like texts.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Texts. In college.
- 48:32Speaker 6: It wasn't sounding right.
- 48:33Speaker 3: For like a speech class, we had to memorize this
- 48:34Speaker 3: long tongue twister. is, when does the wristwatch trap shop shut?
- 48:38Speaker 3: Red leather, yellow leather, rubber baby buggy bumpers. The sixth chic,
- 48:41Speaker 3: sixth chic, sick. Acts, facts, lists, fists, the leaf police
- 48:44Speaker 3: dismisseth us.
- 48:45Speaker 5: What?
- 48:46Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know why I wrote that.
- 48:48Speaker 1: That was hot.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Is that like Busta Rhymes?
- 48:50Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 48:52Speaker 3: It was for a speech class.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Well, you must have gotten an A +.
- 48:56Speaker 3: I probably did.
- 48:56Speaker 2: You're pretty good.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:59Speaker 5: I have trouble saying the word important.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Important. It's important. I know.
- 49:05Speaker 5: It's so strange. You're missing both T's.
- 49:08Speaker 3: I don't know what it is.
- 49:09Speaker 6: Oh, and she also say like, you also say some
- 49:11Speaker 6: states wrong too.
- 49:13Speaker 5: Well, yeah, that's more of an accent.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Like what?
- 49:15Speaker 1: Oregon.
- 49:16Speaker 5: I say Oregon.
- 49:17Speaker 3: And I say Nevada. Nevada. neva a couple of.
- 49:22Speaker 2: People on the text saying benjamin like the name benjamin
- 49:26Speaker 2: benjamin benjamin benjamin architecture february these are all ones that
- 49:32Speaker 2: the people are hitting us up with residual residual Residual.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Residual.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Residual.
- 49:38Speaker 2: You'll get a residual.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Residual. Yeah, residual.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Residual. Sammy, how do you say this word? I'm going
- 49:46Speaker 1: to push this right here. What is this?
- 49:49Speaker 5: Off?
- 49:50Speaker 1: No. What is the generic term? I got to push this.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Button?
- 49:55Speaker 1: There you go. Button.
- 49:56Speaker 6: There you go.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Because Bort says buttons.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Buttons?
- 49:59Speaker 5: Buttons?
- 49:59Speaker 1: You got to push those buttons.
- 50:01Speaker 3: Buttons.
- 50:01Speaker 2: My dad says potato. Like if potato was with a B.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Yeah, but is he being serious?
- 50:08Speaker 2: No, yeah, I think it's funny. It could be tied
- 50:11Speaker 2: up into the whole Pittsburgh accent thing.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Probably.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Baked potato. Like Philadelphia, my sister, pillow.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. There's a lot of people that do pillow.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Once my head hits the pillow.
- 50:21Speaker 3: The pillow.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Drink some milk.
- 50:23Speaker 3: Milk is a big one.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Milk.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, milk.
- 50:26Speaker 6: But sometimes it's just fun to say it wrong.
- 50:28Speaker 2: It is fun.
- 50:29Speaker 1: It's just a good time for the whole family.
- 50:32Speaker 2: I'm just looking to laugh and have a good time.
- 50:36Speaker 6: It's just fun.
- 50:37Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 50:40Speaker 2: All right, some words and phrases. You've probably been mispronouncing.
- 50:43Speaker 2: You're testing menace on some of the more commonly mispronounced words.
- 50:47Speaker 3: You did quite well.
- 50:48Speaker 1: You did really well.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Yeah, not bad. Not even a challenge.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Not bad.
- 50:52Speaker 2: And then we'll have a menace word of the day
- 50:53Speaker 2: here in just a minute. Some other words and phrases
- 50:56Speaker 2: that people get wrong. People will say, instead of dog
- 51:00Speaker 2: eat dog, they say it's a doggy dog world.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Doggy dog. Snoop Doggy Dog.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Like Snoop Doggy Dog.
- 51:05Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 51:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's incorrect.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:08Speaker 3: And we're just living in it, you guys. Yep.
- 51:09Speaker 9: Right.
- 51:11Speaker 3: They'll say Chester drawers instead of chest of drawers.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Okay, that's a very- I don't know that one.
- 51:17Speaker 3: I've never heard that.
- 51:17Speaker 1: High level of special to say Chester.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Put that in the Chester drawers.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 51:21Speaker 2: I mean- It was named after a Chester.
- 51:23Speaker 9: Right.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Chest of drawers?
- 51:24Speaker 3: Like a- Like a chest, like a- Like a bureau
- 51:26Speaker 3: or something.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Yeah, like picture a piece of furniture menace, right?
- 51:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 51:30Speaker 3: We would call it just probably a dresser.
- 51:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Like a common- Hard to say drawers.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Right.
- 51:35Speaker 2: But people will say, oh, it's a Chester drawers.
- 51:38Speaker 1: That's- Pretty stupid. All right.
- 51:41Speaker 2: We already talked about library. People say that a lot.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Menace is not alone on the library.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Library. Library.
- 51:48Speaker 2: All right, so Menace, what is the thing, if I'm
- 51:52Speaker 2: sitting in a chair and there's a separate piece of
- 51:56Speaker 2: furniture that is meant for me to put my feet on,
- 51:59Speaker 2: like it's usually sitting in front of the chair.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Yeah. What is that? An ottoman? An ottoman.
- 52:06Speaker 2: All right, yeah. People say ottomant.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 52:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the most common way that people butcher that one.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Oh. They're not refined.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Did you know that?
- 52:14Speaker 3: Did you know what it was called?
- 52:15Speaker 2: I knew it was ottoman.
- 52:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Yeah. All right.
- 52:17Speaker 9: I'm getting a new one. Thanks to Greg.
- 52:19Speaker 1: What? Yeah.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Alzheimer's people say old timers.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Yeah. I really did when I was a kid.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Or all timers.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Or all timers.
- 52:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Instead of might as well, people say minus well.
- 52:33Speaker 3: I'm good minus well.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Me, minus well.
- 52:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:38Speaker 6: I mean, like, I'm bad, but not that bad, right?
- 52:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that's bad.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Hyperbol. People say that.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Hyperbol?
- 52:45Speaker 2: Hyperbol.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Yeah, hyperbole.
- 52:46Speaker 2: That's how it's spelled.
- 52:48Speaker 6: Oh.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, hyperbol.
- 52:50Speaker 2: But, like, why would you, like, if you're going to
- 52:51Speaker 2: say hyperbol, why would you even use the word?
- 52:53Speaker 6: I thought that was people mispronouncing hyperbolic.
- 52:57Speaker 3: Oh, you know what I heard for the first time
- 52:59Speaker 3: since maybe the 90s? I heard someone say gyro, like, unironically.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 53:03Speaker 2: So you say gyro. I hear both, and I think
- 53:06Speaker 2: that's more of a common, like, Yeah, it's not. But people,
- 53:09Speaker 2: I think, never heard the other way.
- 53:10Speaker 3: Yeah. If you're just looking at how it's spelled.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:12Speaker 6: Right.
- 53:13Speaker 8: That's what I'm saying is I think a lot of
- 53:14Speaker 8: that went away just because we have audio. I remember
- 53:17Speaker 8: it used to be that there was an argument in
- 53:19Speaker 8: my house, whoever it.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Was, Mario or Mario.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 53:22Speaker 3: Just because it was printed and no one had ever
- 53:23Speaker 3: seen it or heard it.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Well, if you're from New Jersey.
- 53:26Speaker 2: This one's tough, but this is not a common one,
- 53:29Speaker 2: but it's on menus at Italian places, the potato pasta.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. What is that? Gnocchi. Right?
- 53:36Speaker 3: Gnocchi.
- 53:37Speaker 1: Gnocchi.
- 53:38Speaker 3: That's how you're supposed to say it.
- 53:40Speaker 2: People say gnocchi. It's not gnocchi.
- 53:43Speaker 3: It's like gnocchi. That's what the G is for. Gnocchi.
- 53:47Speaker 6: Say it correctly one more time.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Gnocchi. Gnocchi.
- 53:52Speaker 3: Gnocchi. It's closer to gnocchi. One that Greg and I have.
- 53:55Speaker 3: hate that we see spelled all the time. Menace, if
- 53:59Speaker 3: the word is like could've, what is that a contraction of?
- 54:03Speaker 3: Could've have. What is it? Could've have. Could've have.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Could've have.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Yeah, could've is basically shortened for.
- 54:10Speaker 6: Could've have.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Could have.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Could have.
- 54:14Speaker 3: I like could've have better. It drives Greg and I
- 54:16Speaker 3: crazy when it's could've.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Could've.
- 54:18Speaker 3: I should've.
- 54:19Speaker 9: I could've.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Not I should have. I could have.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Oh, gosh. It's not of.
- 54:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:25Speaker 1: And then in junior year in high school, I had
- 54:26Speaker 1: to take chemistry. And I would read the word, I
- 54:29Speaker 1: never heard it out loud, infrared light. And all through
- 54:33Speaker 1: junior year, I thought, I've never heard of infrared light.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Infrared?
- 54:37Speaker 1: Infrared.
- 54:38Speaker 3: Is that like implied?
- 54:39Speaker 6: That's how it was spelled.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Infrared light. And then I thought, like, I don't understand this.
- 54:42Speaker 6: That was before computer.
- 54:44Speaker 2: When you get things from other people, like maybe you
- 54:47Speaker 2: had an older sibling, you know, whatever. You have an
- 54:50Speaker 2: older brother menace.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 54:51Speaker 2: And they give you their stuff.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Those are.
- 54:53Speaker 6: Hand-me-downs.
- 54:54Speaker 3: Hand-me-downs. A lot of people say hammy-downs. Hammy-downs?
- 54:58Speaker 2: Hammy-downs.
- 54:59Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Kindergarteners.
- 55:01Speaker 3: Yeah, albeit, albeit. Albeit.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Albeit. That's a good word.
- 55:05Speaker 2: Albeit, blah, blah, blah.
- 55:07Speaker 3: Like, no, no, it's albeit. Do you hear a lot
- 55:09Speaker 3: of people say, for all intensive purposes? Yeah.
- 55:12Speaker 6: I mean, is this like.
- 55:14Speaker 2: All intent.
- 55:15Speaker 1: And?
- 55:15Speaker 2: I have an intent.
- 55:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 2: All Intents and Purposes. You didn't know that one?
- 55:20Speaker 9: I would have said that wrong, yeah.
- 55:22Speaker 5: Really?
- 55:22Speaker 3: All Intents and Purposes.
- 55:24Speaker 6: Is this like a brain injury list?
- 55:29Speaker 1: 877-44-WOODY.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Send us a text if you'd like over to 229870.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Let's take the break. Then we'll come back. Menace Word
- 55:35Speaker 2: of the Day.
- 55:36Speaker 3: All right.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Add a new word to Menace's ever-growing vocabulary as we've learned.
- 55:42Speaker 3: Getting very impressive.
- 55:43Speaker 2: That's next on The Woody Show.
- 55:44Speaker 1: Hang on.
- 55:53Speaker 2: And welcome back, everybody. So, just going over some of
- 55:57Speaker 2: these words, commonly mispronounced words, things like that. We all
- 56:02Speaker 2: can't be sea bass. We all can't be perfect.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Sometimes you just try to think about the words that
- 56:05Speaker 3: are coming out of your mouth.
- 56:07Speaker 5: No, no.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Never.
- 56:09Speaker 2: I'm Menace. Word of the day.
- 56:11Speaker 8: We've got a degree of difficulty here. Morgan, if you
- 56:14Speaker 8: want to pass that thing next to you over toward Menace.
- 56:17Speaker 9: Oh, this thing?
- 56:18Speaker 3: Yes, that thing that smells like the pepperoni pizza.
- 56:20Speaker 4: Oh.
- 56:20Speaker 3: Oh, lucky. It's so warm. It's Better Goods from Walmart.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Passing it to Menace.
- 56:28Speaker 1: We do like the Better Goods.
- 56:29Speaker 3: What is this?
- 56:30Speaker 8: Well, number one, it's going to distract him. But number two,
- 56:33Speaker 8: it's your reward for when you're done.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Oh.
- 56:36Speaker 3: Again, you can't just.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Legit effort.
- 56:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:39Speaker 2: You can't just rush it.
- 56:40Speaker 3: Sometimes he gives up because he gets first order. No.
- 56:43Speaker 3: First order.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Although we should not help him along the way on
- 56:46Speaker 1: this one because I think we could be here all day.
- 56:48Speaker 3: All right.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Okay. This is a good one. All right.
- 56:52Speaker 6: Today's word.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:53Speaker 1: All right.
- 56:54Speaker 2: So Menace has the word of the day calendar, the
- 56:55Speaker 2: page from the calendar. It's got the word. It's got
- 56:57Speaker 2: the pronunciation guide, as he calls it. It's got the definitions,
- 57:01Speaker 2: and it's used in a sentence.
- 57:03Speaker 1: All right.
- 57:03Speaker 2: And Menace, what is today's word of the day?
- 57:09Speaker 3: Cataclysm.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Cataclysm.
- 57:12Speaker 3: That's almost a word. Colonialism.
- 57:16Speaker 2: Colonialism.
- 57:17Speaker 3: You hear that a lot, sort of. Coloquism?
- 57:24Speaker 2: Coloquism. I'm sure people listening know what the word is
- 57:28Speaker 2: at this point. C-O-L-L-O-Q-U-I-A-L-I-S-M.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Is it colonialism? Like colonialism? What would that be?
- 57:38Speaker 6: I mean, people like take over an area.
- 57:43Speaker 9: Colonizers?
- 57:43Speaker 6: No.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:44Speaker 6: Okay.
- 57:46Speaker 3: I mean, that's close to that word.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Good guess.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:51Speaker 3: Coloquism. Are you saying it wrong?
- 57:56Speaker 2: No, I'm just repeating it.
- 57:59Speaker 3: Alright.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Dialogue?
- 58:06Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 58:07Speaker 6: A regional... Let me see what it says here. I mean,
- 58:10Speaker 6: the pronunciation guide is hieroglyphic, so it makes more sense.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Skip into the definitions. Yeah.
- 58:17Speaker 6: See, a local or regional dialect expression.
- 58:20Speaker 3: Okay.
- 58:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Colonialism.
- 58:24Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 58:25Speaker 6: Used in a sarcastic or familiar and informal what?
- 58:30Speaker 3: Conversation.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Yeah. He's trying to use that to figure out.
- 58:33Speaker 3: He said sarcastic. Yeah.
- 58:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:35Speaker 2: It's characteristic.
- 58:36Speaker 1: It's characteristic.
- 58:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 58:37Speaker 6: Uh, familiar information. Okay. Colonial style.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Nope. Nope. Greg, you're so close, man. What? Are we
- 58:48Speaker 1: saying it for real? Yeah. Colloquialism.
- 58:52Speaker 3: Colloquially.
- 58:53Speaker 1: What? Colloquialism.
- 58:56Speaker 3: Colloquialism. Colloquialism.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Colloquialism.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Colloquialism. Hold on.
- 59:04Speaker 6: I need, like, silence.
- 59:06Speaker 3: Guys, shut up.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:08Speaker 3: I need Craig just to say it correctly.
- 59:10Speaker 1: So I can repeat it. Colloquialism.
- 59:13Speaker 6: Colloquialism.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Colloquialism.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Colloquialism.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Colloquialism.
- 59:22Speaker 6: Colloquialism.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Got it.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Nailed it.
- 59:26Speaker 1: All right.
- 59:26Speaker 3: What about the definition, Dennis? Okay.
- 59:28Speaker 1: You're right. We've been here all day.
- 59:30Speaker 6: I did all the definitions. I would say let's go
- 59:32Speaker 6: to the sentence. No, no.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Let's go to that one.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 59:34Speaker 6: Local or regional dialect expression used in a characteristic or
- 59:42Speaker 6: familiar and informal conversation.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:45Speaker 6: And then the third one is... Colloquial style.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Colloquial style.
- 59:50Speaker 3: Colloquial style.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Used in a sentence.
- 59:52Speaker 6: Okay.
- 59:53Speaker 1: In a sentence.
- 59:53Speaker 6: In a remarkable manifestation or.
- 59:58Speaker 4: Of.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 59:59Speaker 3: Of. Interstimulation. Interstimulation.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Those two words. Just for fun.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Just for fun.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Jesus Christ, man.
- 1:00:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Just for fun. Those two words.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Nocrugnal. Indermistermerit. Nocturnal indiscrimination.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Nocturnal.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: That's what he's trying to get at.
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: Wait, what's the last one?
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Indiscrimination?
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: Indiscrimination.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Like someone was being indiscriminate. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Menace.
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: We only exchange in bedcharmer. Congress with a.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Oh, Jesus, man.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Bedchamber.
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: Bedchamber?
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: I don't even know what that means.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Bedchamber Congress with.
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: with a corporalent conversation.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Dude.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Clamorous. Companion.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Clamorous?
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: It's not a clamor. It goes by.
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: Think about the pizza.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: Dude, this sounds crazy, dog.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Dog?
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: What? Corporalent, clamorous, companion.
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: Corporalist.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: I can't even say it. Corporalist.
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: Corporalent?
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Corporalist.
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: Corpulent?
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: Another word for fat.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: Like being of the body.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Corpus.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Of the body.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Where were we going?
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: Okay, who goes by the applicant nation of MC Boob Sweat, a.k.a.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: Dumbass Tyler, who was indomitably.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Wait, what?
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: Clamorous.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: You've got to do that. I'm going to refer to
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: sex from now on as bedchamber congress.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Bedchamber congress.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: He skipped the parenthetical, which he actually used the word
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: of the day. Okay. Greg, just do it.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: You know words. The whole sentence?
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: Yeah, the whole sentence.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: In a remarkable manifestation of nocturnal indiscrimination, Menace willingly engaged
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: in bedchamber congress with a corpulent companion who goes by
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: the appellation of MC Boob Sweat. a.k.a. Dumbass Tyler, who
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: is indubitably clamorous.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Jeez.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: There's a parenthetical that we missed called Hitting the Hates.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: You use a colloquialism. You guys got the wrong version.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: There's Menace's word of the day. That was something.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: You got pizza, Menace.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: That was so good.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: Thank you. I'm going to enjoy some pizza, though.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Enjoy your pizza.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: There you go, buddy.
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: Quite delicious.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: So Greg was asking, should he have called Homeland Security
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: on that SUV that he saw?
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: CBAS is constantly calling the authorities.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: And now Gina's got a question. I do. Along the
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: same lines.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Do you call or when do you call?
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: And so you guys can help us out with this.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: I'm surrounded by a ton of narc.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Well, this was actually concerned citizens.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: This was emailed to me. And I really want to
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: see what you guys think about this. So this is
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: the whole email. It says, hey, Gina, I'll first out
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: by saying that I'm a longtime listener. Never miss the show.
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: Love you all.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Thank you for being a part of my day. Okay. Anyway,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: I'm guessing that no one's ever asked you this before,
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: but because you watch so much true crime, I wanted
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: to get your advice on something. I want to know,
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: what are the circumstances where you'd report a neighbor who
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: might be a murderer?
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Might be.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Might be a murderer. Now listen.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: What are the signs?
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: Now listen to the signs. I know this is a
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: risky thing to do, but when I moved in, I
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: was really close to this older couple next door. But
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: over the past few months, I've only seen the husband.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: Every time I ask where the wife is, he has
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: a new excuse, like she's out of town or she's
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: too sick to come to the door. And I should
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: add that he hasn't invited me into the house in
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: at least two months, and I used to go in
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: all the time. I really feel like I should let
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: the cops know. The couple is in their mid-60s, and
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: they've always been really nice, but aren't those the one
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: who end up being murderers? The people are really nice
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: and sort of keep to themselves. Any advice you have
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: would be really helpful. I don't want to overreact, but
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: this is really starting to freak me out.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: You know that guy, that'd be like Brad Dunn. He's
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: the Reliant Fitness guy.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: He does like the gay stuff Fridays.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: Like, you know, gay.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Gay.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Well, yeah, he had one. If you've called 911 for
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: anything other than a medical emergency, gay. People who just
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: can't wait to call the cops for everything.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: All they want is making noise, calling the cops.
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: They want the glory of, I found a murderer. But
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: I guarantee you what the issue is here is, yeah,
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: there's something wrong with the lady medical-wise. And old people,
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: they kind of don't talk about that stuff.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: But sometimes he says she's out of town.
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: Yeah, because she just wants you to go away.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Mind your business.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Okay. I don't think it's a glory thing. Like, oh,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I want glory. It's like, I'm concerned about this woman,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: you know?
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: I mean, if, if my opinion is I wouldn't call
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: the cops. If you're, if this keeps going on and
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: it's freaking out, you could do it. Anonymous welfare check.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: I think people are watching too much.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: This true crime crap.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Maybe. Yeah. And now they think everything is like, this
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: does sound like a movie, you know, like, oh, I
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: got these neighbors and they used to be so friendly.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Now I only see one.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Where's Linda? Like, you know, It might be a hyperbolic.
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: Linda's probably not doing well. And she just doesn't want
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: people around.
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: This person wouldn't have gone into the house again because
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: she's in there sick. So why would you want visitors?
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: That makes sense to me. But also.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: We're making up a story about what possibly could be.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: Whether she's been murdered, whether she's sick or whatever.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: That's what she wants to know.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: How about you stay in your house?
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Do your thing.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: If you see people on the way to the mailbox,
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: you're taking the trash cans out. Hey, what's up, Linda?
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: How you doing? Like wave to them. Otherwise, mind your business.
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: I have.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Like a legit piece of advice. If there's a weird
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: smell coming from the house. Maybe just say when you
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: see the husband, because she still sees the husband, not
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: the wife. Right. This mysteriously missing wife.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Next time you see the husband, get in the mail
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: or outside. Just say to him, hey, I spoke to
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: your wife a while back and I have to ask
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: her a follow-up question. Or I saw this TV show
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: that I know she would love. I don't have her
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: phone number. Let me call her. Can you give me
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: her phone number? And then see if she answers.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: And then what if the answer from him is, just
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: ask me and I'll ask her.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Yeah. Then good question.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Just ask me and I'll ask her.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Then you say, look, Roger, why are you being so cagey?
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: I want to see this body.
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: Also, maybe it's you.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Maybe you did something and now they don't want to
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: associate with you anymore.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Oh, like maybe this emailer. Yeah.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: I don't know. I'd say if you're super, super worried,
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: you could do a wellness check, but also, yeah, mind
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: your business.
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: Right. I don't know.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: I don't think he's going to kill you. Are you
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: neighborhood police?
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Just because people keep to themselves or you haven't seen
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: them or like, you know. Are you hearing weird noises
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: in the middle of the night?
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: Do you see him digging in the backyard? Yeah, I
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: see him digging in the backyard.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Like, those are, okay.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: But can you at least acknowledge that that's weird? Like,
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: suddenly you just don't see her anymore.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: No, because there's neighbors that we're friends with that live
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: across the street. Hal and Sarah, very nice people. I
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: can't tell you the last time I saw them even
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: coming or going. We're on different schedules, obviously, but I
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: don't think that they're dead or have been murdered. That's true.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Sometimes you go through those stretches where even a friend,
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: you see a friend on a regular, and then all
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: of a sudden you go through that stretch where it's like, man,
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: when was the last time we hung out?
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: It's been months.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: No, that's true.
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: But the excuses that change are like, no. A lot
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: of people do think a wellness check is probably the
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: way to go.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I have neighbors as well. I socialize with them, but
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: I haven't seen the wife in months. Oh, really? I
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: could be standing next to her at the grocery store
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: and not know it's her. I've forgotten what she looks like,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: but I don't think she's dead.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: So why can't you say that to the husband? You
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: see the husband and go, hey, how's Gina?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: What's she doing?
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: True.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: Haven't seen her in a minute. How's she doing?
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: But Andy would be like, oh, she broke her face.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: You don't need the cops coming in to ask that question.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: I think the reason why she's why she's concerned is
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: because it sounds like one of them is the excuse
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: always changes and she isn't allowed in the house anymore.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: But like Sammy said, if I was sick, I wouldn't
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: want people in the house either.
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: Right. And I think that a welfare check is only
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: really necessary on people who live alone. Or if there
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: was a situation where like this woman's not showing up
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: to work or somewhere daily, they'll call. I don't think
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: this is a neighbor responsibility because you could just be
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: missing them.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: Oh, somebody else suggested what if she left him and
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: he's like embarrassed about it.
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: Or she like legit died and he doesn't want to say. Yeah.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: I don't know. Well, good luck to you, honey. I
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: still think just doing a quick little welfare check might
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: make you feel better. But other than that, I don't
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: think there's anything you're going to be.
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: Able to do.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: I don't think there's any reason to escalate.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: You know, because what if she's there?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Everything's fine.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: You look nuts.
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: And you also look more nosy. And if you really
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: do like these people now, it's like, oh, that's kind
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: of weird. Why is she up in my business?
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: Talk to the other neighbors. Be like, have you seen anything?
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: Or is that going to start too much gossip? Yeah,
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: no hot goss.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: That actual thing did happen across the street and one
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: house down from me. I see the husband all the
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: time and I finally saw him and I said, I
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: haven't seen your wife in ages. And he said, yeah,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: she left me.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Oh, there you go. It does happen.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it does happen. Okay.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: Good times.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: As we were talking about that whole, like, Plan B.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: What's the difference between Plan B and then this?
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: The abortion pill. Yeah.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: It's not called the abortion pill.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Well, it's like Mephistophristone.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: RU486. Okay, I've heard that.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I've heard that before. Mephistophristone.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: This is a weird story. This pair of twins, they're
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: in the news, born from different dads. They're twins, but
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: different dads.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: What are they, cats?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: No.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: So how can they be twins technically? Because isn't it
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: like it gets fertilized and then splits?
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I thought.
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: No, that's only identical twins. Fraternal twins is when there
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: are two eggs that month inside the woman.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Look at Sammy coming in.
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: That's how you can end up with a boy twin
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: and a girl twin because they're fraternal.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're from the same dad though.
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: Are we dealing with a woman with two youths? Because
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: that's happened before.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: They're now 45 years old. I'll just read through the
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: article here. But just four years ago, they had no
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: idea they had separate dads. They took a DNA test
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: with a genealogy firm, and those test results said that
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: they were definitely twins, grew together in the same womb,
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: were born from the same mom. and delivered within minutes
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: of each other, but somehow they were each fathered by
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: somebody different.
- 1:10:41Speaker 9: That's crazy.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: What a whore. Explain that, Dr. Sammy.
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, so that's because she had sex with two
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: guys within a short period of time. And so she
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: had two eggs that month, as you would with fraternal twins,
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: and sperm went into one, fertilized it. She had sex
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: with another guy, and the sperm went into the other
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: egg that she had that month and fertilized that one
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: as well.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: Officials say that it's never happened before in the recorded
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: history there in the UK, but it does happen in
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: extremely rare cases.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: Yeah, they said like 20 cases worldwide.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: It requires a string of perfect events to happen. And
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: there are nearly there are only 20 cases of this
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: that have been documented worldwide. Experts say that with the
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: rise of these, you know, the ancestry DNA stuff, that
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: it's a it's a very strong possibility that more of
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: these cases will could come to light.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: We just didn't know.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: In the next few years.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: Wow, that's crazy. That's like the worst riddle. Like, okay,
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: we're twins, but we have different dogs.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: So strange.
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: The main question is, is there like, OK, well, she
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: just roped someone into thinking he was the father. She
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: was having sex with someone else. So was she married
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: and cheating or was she just someone who was having
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: sex with multiple people and then picked the one she
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: wanted to be the father? Because they clearly never had
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: tests done.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: There's your answer, Sammy.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: I'd rather have a twin. with a separate dad than
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: have one of those twins that's, like, growing on you.
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: Ew.
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: A joint twin?
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: You have, like, teeth coming out of your forehead.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: And, like, random hair popping out of your... Oh, that
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: would have been your brother's hair.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: But you absorbed him.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: We mentioned this before. It's weird to me when people
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: are identical twins and they insist on dressing the same.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: Like, we get it.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: Usually it's kids doing that, not as adults. There's, like,
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: conventions where they do that.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: You guys get it?
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: Twins. Yeah. Do you?
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Get it. And then there are identical twins who I
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: think look nothing alike. There's this one show on HGTV
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: called Unsellable Houses where these women like revamp houses in
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the seattle area and then they put them on the
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: market i didn't even know they were sisters and they're
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: twin sisters identical twins oh i've seen that look nothing
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: i'm like yeah hold on that is weird i thought
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: they were best friends and then yeah i've seen that
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: i was talking to my sister i said wait they're
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: sisters no they're identical twin sisters.
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: Oh lindsey that's so weird yeah i've seen them you
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: know what else is weird Mary-Kate and Ashley are fraternal twins.
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: They are not identical.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Good point.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: Mind blown. Crazy. Now, have any of you ever wished
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: you had an identical twin?
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Yes. Of course.
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: I would not want that. Me neither. I have enough issues.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: I don't want to be compared to someone who looks
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: exactly like me.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I had a very weird jealousy growing up of anybody
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: who was an identical twin.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: Why?
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: I was obsessed.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: It was like a friendship.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I can't explain it. It was fun. Like a built-in friend.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: They were like best friends with their twin brother.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Isn't that a sibling?
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: No.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: But you're literally, you look the same age. And you're
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: the same age. You're the same grade.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: You're doing the same stuff. I think it would be
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: like a built in best friend.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: I think it'd be a weird thing where nobody could
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: tell you apart. Like, you know, so do I exist?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Because this person keeps calling me by the other name.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: They don't even know like who I am. Like I
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: am a separate person than this person, which is maybe
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: why they lean in the hole. Like they make it
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: just their identity.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Well, and that's the other thing.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: It's their whole idea. When you're an identical twin, like
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: some of these people, like the ones that dress the same,
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: they do all the same crap. They marry another set
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: of twins.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: Oh, that's so gross.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Oh, that's bizarre. You know, it's like they make it
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: their entire identity.
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: Yeah, but I think when you're in the rebellious stage,
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: like there were twins in our high school that one
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: was like preppy cheerleader, like the whole thing, and the
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: other one was super goth and always wore black. And
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: I think that was just at least the goth chick's
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: way of separating herself. That's pretty true.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Yeah. We had these twins. One became the head cheerleader.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: She was a good girl. The other one, mega druggie.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Rebellious.
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: Sick of having a twin.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: Well, I wonder what the conversation was like with the mom.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Like these twins.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: So, hey, Ma.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Tell us about your past.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: Which one's my dad? Because you're a whore. Hold on.

- 1:15:32Speaker 2: parting words of wisdom, please.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: Yeah, some things are better left unsaid, and you will
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: realize that right after you say it.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I struggle with that.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Sometimes.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that whole biting your tongue thing. It's not easy.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: In the moment. I've gotten better over the years.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: This is better.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: It's a work in progress.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: I was just thinking that.
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: This is better. This is the good version.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Progress, not perfection.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: Thank you very much, Greg Gorey.
