  Today's episode is talking about the power of

  humility
• 0:34
  in Christian relationships.

  I wanna start the conversation today by
• 0:40
  saying that pride wins arguments,
• 0:43
  but humility preserves
• 0:44
  relationships.
• 0:46
  The scripture that I'm coming from today
• 0:49
  is Philippians the second chapter and the third
• 0:51
  verse.
• 0:53
  Do nothing out of selfish ambition
• 0:55
  or vain conceit.
• 0:57
  Rather in humility,
• 0:59
  value others
• 1:00
  above yourselves.
• 1:03
  Humility is strength under control.
• 1:06
  In God's kingdom, greatness is not measured by
• 1:10
  how high we rise, but
• 1:12
  rather by how willing we are to kneel.
• 1:17
  Putting our others first is not weakness.
• 1:21
  It is a kingdom principle
• 1:23
  modeled by
• 1:24
  the Messiah Jesus Christ
• 1:26
  himself.
• 1:28
  When we choose humility,
• 1:31
  we reflect
• 1:32
  the heart of Jesus
• 1:35
  and the desire of the king.
• 1:38
  When we kneel before God,
• 1:41
  pride begins to lose its grip.
• 1:44
  Prayer exposes our blind spots and reshapes our
• 1:48
  tone.
• 1:49
  It reveals where ego has replaced empathy and
• 1:52
  where defensiveness
• 1:54
  has replaced
• 1:55
  understanding.
• 1:58
  Many relationship
• 1:59
  conflicts aren't truly about right or wrong.

  They're actually about who refuses to bend first.
• 2:06
  And often, the breakthrough comes when one heart
• 2:09
  chooses
• 2:10
  humility.
• 2:13
  Putting others first doesn't mean
• 2:16
  ignoring
• 2:17
  the truth
• 2:19
  or silencing your voice,
• 2:22
  But it does mean choosing love over ego.
• 2:26
  It means valuing the relationship above winning the
• 2:30
  argument.
• 2:31
  That is kingdom living.
• 2:34
  Humility invites peace into spaces where tension
• 2:38
  once lived and prayer is where humility
• 2:41
  is cultivated.
• 2:43
  The more we kneel before God,
• 2:46
  the more he teaches us
• 2:48
  how to lower ourselves in love.
• 2:51
  And the more we lower ourselves before him,
• 2:54
  the stronger our relationships will rise.

  Let's pray.

  Father god, remove pride from my heart.

  Teach me to walk in humility
• 3:06
  and value others with love.

  Shape my responses

  to reflect
• 3:12
  your son, Jesus Christ.
