- 0:00Speaker 1: My wife, she'd make me go back. It's 106.7 Light FM,
- 0:03Speaker 1: Cubby Christine, producer Kristen. Something happened with Christine yesterday, and
- 0:07Speaker 1: I could really relate to it because we've all done it.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Yes, this is a what would you do?
- 0:11Speaker 3: What would you do?
- 0:12Speaker 2: You can always text us, 44363. I would love to know.
- 0:15Speaker 2: You've left something behind at the supermarket, which I did yesterday.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I'll get into the details in a moment. How much...
- 0:23Speaker 2: How much, like what's your threshold for I'm going to
- 0:26Speaker 2: turn around and go back?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Like it matters that much and I paid that much.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:30Speaker 3: I got to go back.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Am I going back? So I went to Stu Leonard's
- 0:33Speaker 2: yesterday in Clifton. You know, I love that store. I'm
- 0:35Speaker 2: there pretty often. And a lady was helping me bag
- 0:39Speaker 2: as I was checking out. And I guess she thought
- 0:41Speaker 2: I had it and I thought she had it. And
- 0:43Speaker 2: I got back to the house. I bought these two
- 0:45Speaker 2: hand sanitizers. They were two for $ 5. Eric helped me.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Good deal.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Unbag, de-bag, whatever it is. And I was like, did
- 0:52Speaker 2: you see hand sanitizers? He said, no. We went and
- 0:55Speaker 2: looked in the trunk. They're not in the trunk. I
- 0:56Speaker 2: was like, oh, they're at the store. I know they're
- 0:59Speaker 2: at the store. Eric's thought was, because he was just
- 1:03Speaker 2: waking up, I was not going to ask him to go.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Don't go back. It's $ 5. Let it go. Me?
- 1:08Speaker 1: Mm-mm.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I'm like, it was $ 5? Yep. I picked out those
- 1:13Speaker 2: hand sanitizers because I like the scent.
- 1:15Speaker 3: $ 5 is $ 5, man. I'm going back.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Now, keep in mind, it's like not the closest store
- 1:20Speaker 2: to me. It's like at least 10 minutes each way.
- 1:24Speaker 2: It's kind of busy. 50 Cent is going to be
- 1:28Speaker 2: at Stu Leonard's later in the day.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Wait a minute. Yep. At that one?
- 1:32Speaker 2: At my... In Clifton? Yeah. He was doing a signing.
- 1:34Speaker 3: That's incredible.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah. 50 Cent. Yeah. He was signing cognac and champagne bottles.
- 1:40Speaker 3: In the club?
- 1:40Speaker 2: Uh-huh. So they were already like putting up, you know,
- 1:44Speaker 2: like the barricades and everything so people could line up
- 1:46Speaker 2: to meet him. So it's going to be super, super busy.
- 1:49Speaker 2: And I know if I don't go now, I'm not
- 1:51Speaker 2: going to want to go later because it's going to
- 1:53Speaker 2: be packed. It's like looking like it's about to rain.
- 1:56Speaker 2: There's all these factors.
- 1:57Speaker 3: And you're probably thinking, if I do go back, will
- 1:59Speaker 3: they even have it? Will they even have it?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Like maybe they put it back on the shelf or
- 2:02Speaker 1: maybe that cashier's gone.
- 2:05Speaker 2: And I've got my receipt. They're going to have to
- 2:07Speaker 2: take my word for it. So I did go back.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I went in. My cashier was gone. But there was
- 2:12Speaker 2: another cashier. I asked her and she said, hang on.
- 2:14Speaker 2: And she got the manager and they had it in
- 2:16Speaker 2: a bag. They were holding onto it for me.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Okay, good, good.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Which was really sweet. And when I came out of
- 2:20Speaker 2: the store, one of our friends that we haven't seen
- 2:23Speaker 2: in forever, Francesco, you know really well.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:26Speaker 2: We haven't seen each other forever. He was just pulling
- 2:29Speaker 2: up and it was like, So we got to see
- 2:31Speaker 2: each other and it kind of like.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Hey, that could be a fate thing too.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Like you were destined to see your old buddy.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I know. So we had like, we got to catch
- 2:38Speaker 2: up a little bit in the parking lot.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Right. But that's the thing.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I think what's the threshold? How much would you go
- 2:43Speaker 2: back for? If it were a dollar, would you go back?
- 2:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 3: If it was a pack of gum, would you have
- 2:48Speaker 3: gone back?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Clearly no.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 2: But $ 5.
- 2:50Speaker 1: $ 5. I hear my wife in my head. She would say, well,
- 2:54Speaker 1: first of all, she'd be upset that I forgot it.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Right. And she would say $ 5 is $ 5. Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 1: She actually would probably say $ 2 is $ 2.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I probably wouldn't go back no matter what.
- 3:03Speaker 2: It depends on what it is, if it's something you
- 3:05Speaker 2: really need, too. 44363, we're getting just call the customer
- 3:08Speaker 2: service desk. Yes, I did think of that. I was
- 3:11Speaker 2: going to do it. But then I thought, I just
- 3:14Speaker 2: need to go there because if they have it, I
- 3:15Speaker 2: want it.
- 3:16Speaker 3: It'd be too hard to explain.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And they'd be looking for the sanitizer and which lane
- 3:21Speaker 1: were you in.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And if they held on to it for me, like
- 3:24Speaker 2: I said, you know, we've got a celebrity coming in.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It's going to get super, super busy.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:29Speaker 2: So I think.
- 3:31Speaker 3: 50 cent or $ 5 hand sanitizer.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Exactly. You choose. So, yes. So $ 5 is enough for
- 3:36Speaker 2: you to go back.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I would go back. I would go back.
- 3:39Speaker 2: But without cocoa? If you didn't have cocoa... If I
- 3:42Speaker 2: was single.
- 3:43Speaker 3: And there was a football game on, oh, hell no.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I keep watching TV or something like that. But no,
- 3:49Speaker 1: I would probably, the wife would make me go back.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Yeah. Hit us up.
- 3:52Speaker 1: That's a good question. 44363. You left something behind at
- 3:55Speaker 1: the grocery store.
- 3:57Speaker 3: How much?
- 3:57Speaker 2: What's the minimum?
- 3:58Speaker 3: What's the minimum?
- 3:59Speaker 2: You turn around and you're already home and unpacked.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 4:02Speaker 2: We'll make you leave the house. Hit us up.
- 4:04Speaker 3: We'll hear from you on text for sure.
