1:14
In

today's

1:15
we
1:16
will
1:16
be
1:16
starting
1:16
out

talking
1:17
about
1:17
a
1:18
new
1:18
way
1:18
to
1:18
restore
1:19
that
1:19
concrete
1:20
patio
1:20
or
1:21
driveway.
1:22
And
1:22
then

G.
1:23
Dives
1:23
into
1:24
some
1:24
hard
1:24
truths
1:25
about
1:25
window
1:26

1:26
Now
1:27
here's
1:28
your
1:28
host,
1:29
Eric
1:29
G.
1:31
Welcome.
1:31
To
1:31

1:32
the
1:32

1:32
the

1:33
generation

of
1:33

1:34
improvement.
1:34
I'm
1:34
Eric
1:35
G.
1:35
Thanks
1:35
for
1:36
joining
1:36
me
1:36
today.
1:37
This
1:37
hour
1:37
is
1:38
brought
1:38
to
1:38
you
1:38
by.

My

1:43
Today
1:43
we
1:43
have
1:44
got
1:44
a
1:44
great
1:45
conversation
1:45
going
1:46
and
1:46
you
1:46
know
1:46
something,
1:47
I
1:47
think
1:47
we
1:48
can
1:48
all
1:48
relate
1:49
to
1:49
having
1:49
that
1:49
driveway,
1:50
patio,
1:51
pool
1:51
deck
1:52
that
1:52
is
1:52
just
1:52
coming
1:52
apart
1:53
that's
1:53
made
1:53
of
1:53
concrete
1:54
and
1:55
you
1:55
don't
1:55
have
1:56
to
1:56
go
1:56
report
1:57
many
1:57
times.
1:57
And
1:58
we
1:58
today
1:58
have
1:58
got
1:59
an
1:59
amazing,
2:00
just
2:00
an
2:01
amazing
2:01
guest.
2:02
Todd
2:02
Harris,
2:03
like
2:03
new
2:04
concrete.
2:04
Welcome
2:05
to
2:05
around
2:05
the
2:06
House
2:06
brother.
2:07
Thanks
2:07
Eric.
2:07
Great
2:08
to
2:08
be
2:08
here,
2:09
man.
2:09
Thanks
2:10
for
2:10
coming.
2:10
On
2:10
my
2:12
I
2:12
first
2:12
saw
2:12
your
2:13
product
2:13
up,
2:13
I'm
2:14
in
2:14
the
2:14
Pacific
2:14
Northwest,
2:15
had
2:15
not
2:15
seen
2:15
it
2:16
first
2:16
and
2:17
I
2:17
saw
2:17
my
2:17
friends
2:18
Chip
2:18
and
2:18
Catherine
2:19
doing
2:19
stuff
2:19
with
2:19
you
2:20
and
2:20
I
2:20
went
2:21
wow,
2:21
that
2:21
is
2:22
some
2:22
neat
2:22
stuff.
2:22
I
2:23
like
2:23
it
2:24
when
2:24
there's
2:24
an
2:24
option
2:25
out
2:25
there
2:25
to
2:25
repair
2:27
instead
2:27
of
2:27
replace
2:28
concrete.
2:29
Yeah,
2:29
absolutely.
2:30
That's
2:30
where
2:30
this
2:31
product
2:31
got
2:31
started.
2:32
The
2:32
other
2:32
owner,
2:32
Steve
2:33
Rahmeyer,
2:33
his
2:33
dad
2:34
was
2:34
a
2:34
contractor
2:35
and
2:35
kept
2:36
having
2:36
issues
2:36
with
2:37
small
2:37
damage
2:38
to
2:38
concrete
2:38
and
2:39
having
2:39
to
2:39
tear
2:39
it
2:39
out
2:39
and
2:40
repour
2:40
it.
2:41
So
2:42
he
2:42
invented
2:42
this
2:42
first
2:43
round
2:43
of
2:43
this
2:43
product
2:44
about
2:44
30
2:44
years
2:45
ago
2:45
and
2:45
it's
2:45
been
2:46
refined
2:46
now
2:46
for
2:47
the
2:47
retail
2:47
market.
2:48
That
2:48
is
2:49
awesome.
2:49
I
2:49
tell
2:49
you
2:50
what
2:50
I
2:50
have
2:50
seen
2:51
over
2:51
the
2:51
years
2:51
of
2:52
my
2:52
probably
2:53
30,
2:53
35
2:53
years
2:54
in
2:54
design
2:54
and
2:55
construction,
2:56
I
2:56
have
2:56
seen
2:57
some
2:57
pretty
2:58
poor
2:58
quality
2:59
products
2:59
out
2:59
there
3:00
from
3:00
homeowners
3:01
getting
3:01
out
3:02
some
3:02
break
3:02
hawking
3:03
and
3:03
trying
3:03
to
3:03
fix
3:04
things
3:04
to
3:05
getting
3:05
out
3:05
something
3:05
that
3:06
looks
3:06
pretty
3:06
much
3:06
like
3:07
drywall
3:07
spackle
3:08
that
3:08
they
3:08
put
3:08
on
3:08
there
3:09
that
3:09
looks
3:10
absolutely
3:10
horrible.
3:11
But
3:12
you
3:12
guys
3:12
really
3:13
developed
3:13
a
3:13
system
3:14
that
3:15
make
3:15
it
3:15
well
3:15
just
3:16
like
3:16
the.
3:16
Name
3:16
looks
3:17
like
3:17
new.
3:18
Yeah,
3:18
it's
3:18
just
3:18
it
3:19
is
3:19
actually
3:19
concrete
3:20
with
3:20
our
3:20
patented
3:21
system
3:21
and
3:22
bonder
3:22
that
3:23
you
3:23
can
3:23
spray
3:24
on
3:24
and
3:24
it
3:24
penetrates
3:25
into
3:25
the
3:25
concrete
3:26
so
3:26
it
3:26
transforms
3:27
it
3:27
to
3:27
brand
3:28
new
3:29
Medium
3:29
gray.
3:30
And
3:30
as
3:30
I
3:30
said
3:31
previously,
3:31
it's
3:31
designed
3:32
to
3:32
work
3:32
with
3:32
new
3:33
concrete.
3:33
And
3:34
we
3:34
do
3:34
all
3:34
the
3:34
builders
3:35
out
3:35
here
3:35
in
3:35
Southern
3:35
California.
3:36
So
3:36
it's
3:36
that
3:36
medium
3:37
new
3:37
gray
3:37
color.
3:38
Nice.
3:39
That
3:39
is
3:39
great.
3:40
And
3:40
so
3:40
if
3:40
somebody's
3:41
got.
3:41
What
3:42
is
3:42
the
3:42
best
3:42
situation
3:43
for
3:43
you
3:43
guys
3:44
with
3:44
this
3:44
product?
3:45
Because
3:45
there's
3:46
people
3:46
out
3:46
there
3:46
that
3:47
have
3:47
maybe
3:48
it's
3:48
a
3:48
whole
3:48
mix.
3:48
You
3:49
could
3:49
have
3:49
stuff
3:49
that's
3:49
pretty
3:49
broken
3:50
up.
3:50
You
3:50
could
3:50
have
3:50
stuff
3:51
that's
3:51
got
3:51
a
3:51
little
3:51
bit
3:51
of
3:51
checking
3:52
and
3:52
some
3:53
cracks
3:53
in
3:53
it
3:53
or
3:54
it's
3:54
blown
3:54
out
3:54
maybe
3:55
from
3:55
salt
3:55
and
3:56
things
3:56
like
3:56
that
3:56
from
3:57
depending
3:57
where
3:57
they
3:57
are
3:58
in
3:58
the
3:58
country.
3:58
What's
3:59
the
3:59
best
3:59
application
4:00
for
4:00
this
4:00
and
4:00
the
4:01
best
4:01
use?
4:02
I
4:02
think
4:02
there's
4:02
a
4:02
couple
4:03
that
4:03
I'll
4:03
mention.
4:04
We
4:04
talk
4:04
about
4:05
worn
4:05
out
4:05
concrete.
4:06
So
4:06
if
4:07
it's
4:07
just
4:07
worn
4:07
out,
4:07
we
4:08
do.
4:08
We've
4:09
seen
4:09
several
4:09
that
4:09
are
4:09
20,
4:10
30,
4:10
40
4:10
years
4:11
old.
4:12
And
4:12
it's
4:12
just
4:13
weathered
4:13
really
4:14
poorly.
4:14
And
4:14
it's
4:14
just
4:14
a
4:15
good
4:15
fresh
4:15
new
4:16
concrete.
4:16
Look
4:17
on
4:17
there
4:17
it
4:17
is.
4:18
New
4:18
concrete
4:19
to
4:19
rejuvenate
4:20
that
4:20
if
4:21
it's
4:21
stained.
4:22
A
4:22
lot
4:22
of
4:22
people
4:22
on
4:22
their
4:23
driveways
4:23
get
4:23
oil
4:24
stains
4:24
or
4:25
had
4:25
customers
4:26
with
4:26
different
4:27
issues
4:27
get
4:27
rust
4:27
on
4:28
their
4:28
back
4:29
patios
4:29
or
4:30
other
4:30
stains,
4:30
maybe
4:31
from
4:31
SAP
4:31
or
4:31
whatever.
4:32
If
4:32
you
4:33
clean
4:33
that
4:33
up
4:33
and
4:33
spray
4:34
this
4:34
over,
4:34
the
4:34
stains
4:34
disappear.
4:35
And
4:36
then
4:36
alluding
4:37
to
4:37
what
4:37
you
4:37
were
4:37
talking
4:37
about,
4:38
if
4:38
it's
4:39
chipped
4:39
up
4:39
or
4:40
cracked
4:40
or
4:40
whatever,
4:40
if
4:41
they
4:41
make
4:41
the
4:41
repairs.
4:42
When
4:42
you
4:42
make
4:42
repairs
4:43
on
4:43
concrete,
4:43
they
4:43
look
4:44
like
4:44
scars.
4:45
You
4:45
spray
4:45
them
4:45
like
4:45
new
4:46
over.
4:46
And
4:46
this
4:47
is
4:47
really
4:47
what
4:47
is
4:47
designed
4:48
first
4:48
for
4:49
the
4:49
repairs
4:49
disappear.
4:50
They
4:51
blend
4:51
in
4:51
with
4:52
the
4:52
new
4:52
concrete.
4:53
So
4:53
you
4:54
get
4:54
a
4:54
good
4:54
repair
4:54
mix.
4:55
Put
4:55
that
4:56
on
4:56
your
4:56
repair
4:57
and
4:57
then
4:57
spray
4:58
the
4:58
lightning
4:58
right
4:58
over
4:59
it.
4:59
That
4:59
is
5:00
great.
5:00
And
5:00
I've
5:01
done
5:01
some
5:01
repairs
5:02
that
5:02
they
5:02
turn
5:02
out
5:02
really
5:03
strong.
5:03
And
5:03
again,
5:04
it's
5:04
all
5:04
about
5:04
the
5:04
materials
5:05
you
5:05
do
5:05
the
5:05
repairs
5:06
with.
5:06
Right.
5:06
If
5:06
you
5:06
use
5:07
a
5:07
good
5:07
high
5:07
strength
5:08
concrete
5:09
patch
5:10
repair
5:10
mix,
5:10
it's
5:11
made
5:11
for
5:11
that.
5:12
You
5:12
can
5:12
really
5:13
get
5:13
something
5:13
that
5:13
adheres
5:14
and
5:14
it's
5:14
added
5:14
strength
5:15
to
5:15
that.
5:16
And
5:16
then
5:16
of
5:16
course,
5:16
your
5:17
product
5:17
goes
5:17
to
5:17
the
5:17
top.
5:17
It
5:18
makes
5:18
it
5:18
look
5:18
like
5:18
a
5:18
brand
5:18
new
5:19
surface
5:19
again.
5:19
Yeah,
5:20
exactly.
5:20
So
5:20
you
5:21
pick
5:21
the
5:21
material
5:22
for
5:22
your
5:22
area.
5:23
Depending
5:23
in
5:23
the
5:24
Northwest,
5:24
a
5:24
little
5:24
bit
5:24
different
5:25
than
5:25
down
5:25
here
5:25
in.
5:26
We're
5:26
in
5:26
Southern
5:26
California.
5:28
Florida
5:28
has
5:28
a
5:28
little
5:29
bit
5:29
different
5:29
concrete.
5:29
So
5:30
the
5:30
material
5:30
that
5:30
works
5:31
good
5:31
there.
5:32
We
5:32
do
5:32
this
5:32
commercially
5:33
every
5:33
day.
5:33
For
5:33
the
5:33
home
5:33
builders
5:34
out
5:34
here,
5:34
there
5:34
are
5:35
subcontractors
5:35
damaged
5:36
our
5:36
concrete.
5:36
We
5:36
repair
5:37
it,
5:37
spray
5:37
like
5:38
new
5:38
and
5:38
you
5:38
can't
5:38
even
5:38
tell
5:39
it
5:39
was
5:39
ever
5:40
repaired.
5:41
And
5:41
to
5:41
your
5:42
point,
5:42
just
5:42
one
5:43
last
5:43
thing
5:43
is
5:43
just
5:43
make
5:44
sure
5:44
for
5:45
people
5:45
doing
5:45
repairs,
5:46
again,
5:46
pick
5:46
that
5:47
material,
5:47
but
5:47
clean
5:47
out
5:47
the
5:48
repair
5:48
really
5:48
good.
5:48
Get
5:48
a
5:49
wire
5:49
brush
5:49
or
5:49
something
5:49
and
5:50
scuff
5:50
up
5:50
that
5:50
surface
5:51
so
5:51
it's
5:51
going
5:51
to
5:51
bond
5:51
in
5:52
there
5:52
and
5:52
hold.
5:53
Yeah.
5:53
And
5:53
follow
5:54
the
5:54
directions,
5:55
guys
5:55
out
5:55
there.
5:55
The
5:56
product
5:56
you're
5:56
using
5:56
many
5:57
times,
5:57
if
5:57
you
5:57
put
5:58
it
5:58
on
5:58
there
5:58
and
5:58
you
5:58
haven't
5:59
maybe
6:00
gotten
6:00
that
6:01
concrete
6:01
wet
6:01
enough,
6:02
it
6:02
dries
6:02
and
6:02
doesn't
6:03
dry
6:03
correctly
6:04
or
6:04
whatever,
6:05
you
6:05
can
6:05
really
6:05
cause
6:06
some
6:06
problems
6:06
where
6:06
it
6:07
doesn't
6:07
adhere
6:07
correctly.
6:08
Because
6:08
that's
6:09
the
6:09
biggest
6:09
part
6:09
of
6:09
that
6:10
repair,
6:10
once
6:10
you
6:10
get
6:11
it
6:11
cleaned
6:11
out,
6:11
is
6:11
making
6:12
sure
6:12
that
6:12
you
6:12
follow
6:12
those
6:13
directions
6:14
just
6:14
dead
6:14
on
6:15
to
6:15
get
6:15
the
6:15
best
6:16
possible
6:16
adhesion
6:17
for
6:17
that
6:17
repair
6:17
material
6:18
in
6:18
there.
6:18
So
6:19
that
6:19
way
6:19
it
6:19
holds
6:19
up.
6:19
And
6:20
when
6:20
you
6:20
guys
6:20
go
6:21
across
6:22
the
6:22
top
6:22
and
6:22
make
6:22
it
6:22
look
6:23
beautiful,
6:23
it's
6:24
just
6:24
a
6:24
seamless
6:24
transition
6:25
at
6:25
that
6:25
point.
6:26
Totally
6:26
agree.
6:27
Just
6:28
follow
6:28
those
6:28
directions.
6:29
That
6:29
is
6:29
the
6:30
big
6:30
part.
6:30
So
6:31
one
6:32
question
6:32
for
6:32
you,
6:32
Todd.
6:33
So
6:33
really,
6:33
if
6:34
you've
6:34
got
6:34
that
6:34
driveway,
6:35
how
6:36
long
6:36
of
6:36
a
6:36
process
6:36
is
6:37
this
6:37
to
6:37
come
6:37
through
6:37
and
6:38
kind
6:38
of
6:38
what
6:38
are
6:38
the
6:38
steps?
6:38
If
6:39
you've
6:39
got
6:39
that
6:39
traditional
6:40
two
6:41
car
6:41
garage,
6:42
typical
6:42
driveway
6:43
that's
6:43
in
6:43
suburbia
6:44
that
6:44
we
6:44
see
6:44
out
6:44
there,
6:45
what's
6:45
kind
6:46
of
6:46
the
6:46
process
6:46
of
6:46
doing
6:47
this
6:47
if
6:47
it's
6:47
just
6:48
maybe
6:48
worn
6:48
out?
6:49
Yeah.
6:49
So
6:49
there's
6:50
four
6:50
steps.
6:50
I'll
6:51
summarize
6:51
them
6:52
and
6:52
then
6:52
briefly
6:52
talk
6:52
about
6:52
each
6:53
one.
6:53
It's
6:53
clean
6:54
the
6:54
concrete
6:55
mix.
6:56
Our
6:56
mix
6:56
the
6:56
concrete
6:57
mix,
6:58
put
6:58
it
6:58
in
6:58
the
6:58
sprayer
6:59
and
6:59
spray
6:59
it
6:59
on.
7:00
And
7:00
then
7:00
after
7:00
you've
7:01
done
7:01
that,
7:01
you've
7:01
got
7:01
a
7:01
seal
7:02
for
7:02
driveway.
7:03
So
7:03
when
7:03
we
7:04
talk
7:04
about
7:04
cleaning,
7:05
you
7:05
can
7:05
use
7:06
a
7:06
pressure
7:06
washer
7:07
if
7:07
you
7:07
don't
7:07
have
7:07
one
7:08
available.
7:09
Just
7:09
soap
7:09
and
7:09
water.
7:10
Get
7:10
some
7:10
dawn
7:10
soap.
7:11
It's
7:11
amazing
7:11
what
7:11
that
7:12
does.
7:12
Get
7:12
a
7:12
broom.
7:12
Get
7:13
it
7:13
as
7:14
clean
7:14
as
7:14
possible
7:14
because
7:15
you're
7:15
opening
7:15
up
7:15
the
7:15
pores
7:16
for
7:16
our
7:16
product
7:16
to
7:16
penetrate.
7:18
If
7:18
there's
7:18
oil
7:18
on
7:18
there,
7:19
you
7:19
got
7:19
to
7:19
try
7:19
to
7:19
get
7:19
that
7:20
off.
7:20
Use
7:20
an
7:21
oil
7:21
stain
7:21
remover
7:22
or
7:22
at
7:22
worst
7:22
use
7:23
dawn
7:23
and
7:23
water
7:24
and
7:24
hit
7:24
that
7:24
heavily.
7:25
If
7:26
there's
7:26
gum
7:26
or
7:26
paint
7:27
on
7:27
there,
7:28
that's
7:28
not
7:28
going
7:28
to
7:28
allow
7:28
it
7:29
to
7:29
penetrate.
7:29
So
7:29
you
7:29
got
7:29
to
7:30
get
7:30
that
7:30
off.
7:31
In
7:31
the
7:31
case
7:31
of
7:31
paint,
7:32
you
7:32
got
7:32
to
7:32
sand
7:32
it
7:32
or
7:33
grind
7:33
it
7:33
off
7:33
as
7:33
best
7:34
you
7:34
can.
7:35
Gum
7:35
you
7:35
could
7:35
scrape
7:36
off
7:37
and
7:37
anything
7:37
else
7:38
that's
7:38
on
7:38
there
7:38
like
7:38
a
7:38
sealer
7:39
would
7:39
be
7:39
a
7:40
problem
7:40
because
7:40
it
7:40
wouldn't
7:40
penetrate.
7:41
But
7:41
otherwise
7:42
just
7:42
regular
7:42
driveway,
7:43
just
7:43
clean
7:43
it.
7:44
We
7:44
made
7:45
our
7:45
kit
7:45
really
7:45
easy.
7:45
It's
7:45
just
7:46
an
7:46
A
7:46
and
7:46
B.
7:46
You
7:46
just
7:46
mix
7:47
it
7:47
in
7:47
the
7:47
bucket
7:47
with
7:48
a
7:48
paddle
7:48
mixer.
7:48
Just
7:49
like
7:49
regular
7:49
concrete
7:50
and
7:51
then
7:51
the
7:51
difference
7:52
with
7:52
our
7:52
product,
7:52
it's
7:53
the
7:53
only
7:53
thing
7:53
out
7:53
there.
7:53
You
7:53
pour
7:54
it
7:54
into
7:54
a
7:54
deck
7:55
sprayer,
7:55
just
7:55
a
7:55
regular
7:56
garden
7:56
pump
7:56
sprayer
7:57
and
7:57
spray
7:58
on.
7:58
It's
7:58
really
7:58
light
7:59
coats.
7:59
It's
7:59
almost
8:00
like
8:00
I
8:00
tell
8:00
people
8:00
to
8:01
practice,
8:01
just
8:01
mist
8:02
water
8:02
onto
8:02
your
8:02
surface.
8:03
It's
8:03
that
8:04
easy.
8:04
And
8:04
you're
8:05
putting
8:05
a
8:05
couple
8:05
of
8:05
coats
8:06
on
8:06
and
8:07
so
8:08
you
8:08
want
8:08
the
8:08
driveway
8:09
or
8:09
the
8:09
concrete
8:10
surface
8:10
dry
8:10
when
8:10
you're
8:11
putting
8:11
like
8:11
new
8:11
on.
8:12
So
8:12
you
8:12
clean
8:12
it,
8:13
let
8:13
it
8:13
dry,
8:13
put
8:13
the
8:14
like
8:14
new
8:14
on.
8:15
Cleaning
8:16
is
8:16
only
8:16
going
8:16
to
8:16
take
8:16
you
8:17
30,
8:18
maybe
8:18
it's
8:18
60
8:18
minutes.
8:19
Unless
8:19
you
8:19
have
8:19
a
8:19
big
8:20
project
8:20
that's
8:21
problem.
8:22
The
8:22
mixing
8:22
and
8:22
spraying
8:23
should
8:23
take
8:23
you
8:24
one
8:24
to
8:25
two
8:25
hours
8:25
max,
8:26
even
8:27
for
8:27
a
8:27
400
8:27
square
8:28
foot
8:28
driveway.
8:29
And
8:29
then
8:30
you
8:30
got
8:30
to
8:30
wait
8:30
and
8:31
let
8:31
that
8:31
dry.
8:32
So
8:32
typically
8:32
we
8:33
say
8:33
the
8:33
next
8:33
morning
8:34
seal
8:34
and
8:35
our
8:35
sealer
8:35
sprays
8:35
on.
8:36
So
8:36
that's
8:36
only
8:36
like
8:36
20
8:37
minutes.
8:38
And
8:38
then
8:38
after
8:38
that
8:39
you
8:39
just
8:39
wait
8:39
24
8:39
hours
8:40
to
8:40
drive
8:40
on
8:40
a
8:41
driveway.
8:42
So
8:42
that
8:42
is
8:42
the
8:42
process
8:43
for
8:43
doing
8:43
a
8:43
driveway.
8:44
It's
8:44
I
8:44
would
8:44
say
8:44
four
8:45
hours.
8:45
And
8:46
you
8:46
could
8:46
do
8:46
it
8:46
in
8:46
less
8:47
depending
8:47
on
8:48
how
8:48
much
8:48
cleaning
8:48
you
8:48
have.
8:49
Oh
8:49
my
8:49
gosh.
8:50
And
8:50
that
8:50
is
8:50
so
8:51
much
8:51
easier
8:51
than
8:52
other
8:52
products
8:53
out
8:53
there
8:53
that
8:53
are
8:53
more
8:54
a
8:54
trowel
8:54
on
8:54
or
8:55
something
8:55
like
8:55
that.
8:55
Because
8:56
most
8:57
people
8:57
don't
8:57
have
8:58
that
8:58
artisan
8:58
quality
8:59
that
8:59
it
8:59
takes
8:59
for
8:59
those,
9:00
those
9:00
people
9:00
out
9:01
there
9:01
that
9:01
do
9:01
this
9:01
for
9:02
a
9:02
living,
9:02
that
9:02
make
9:02
it
9:02
look
9:03
so
9:03
easy.
9:03
The
9:03
first
9:03
time
9:04
you
9:04
put
9:04
a
9:04
trowel
9:04
in
9:04
somebody's
9:05
hands
9:05
and
9:05
they're
9:05
out
9:05
there
9:05
on
9:06
their
9:06
hands
9:06
trying
9:07
to
9:07
work
9:07
with
9:07
it
9:08
gets
9:08
a
9:08
lot
9:08
harder
9:09
real
9:09
quick.
9:09
And
9:09
then
9:10
you
9:10
throw
9:10
in
9:10
sun
9:10
and
9:11
all
9:11
the
9:11
environmental
9:12
stuff
9:12
out
9:12
there
9:12
as
9:12
well.
9:13
And
9:14
I've
9:14
seen
9:14
many
9:14
attempts
9:15
at
9:15
that.
9:15
Made
9:15
it
9:16
actually
9:16
look
9:16
worse
9:16
and
9:17
not
9:17
better.
9:18
Absolutely.
9:19
And
9:19
one
9:19
of
9:19
my
9:19
favorite
9:20
things
9:20
about
9:20
this
9:20
product
9:21
when
9:21
I
9:21
came
9:21
into
9:21
the
9:22
company
9:22
is
9:23
if
9:23
you're
9:23
using
9:24
a
9:24
trowel
9:24
on
9:25
or
9:25
even
9:25
a
9:25
paint
9:26
and
9:26
I
9:26
put
9:26
it
9:27
down
9:27
and
9:27
I
9:28
make
9:28
a
9:28
mistake,
9:28
which
9:29
we're
9:29
all
9:29
anxious
9:30
about
9:30
if
9:30
we're
9:30
doing
9:30
something
9:31
the
9:31
first
9:31
time.
9:32
I
9:32
got
9:32
to
9:32
grind
9:32
that
9:33
off.
9:33
That
9:34
is
9:34
as
9:34
much
9:34
work
9:35
as
9:35
the
9:35
actual
9:35
project.
9:37
With
9:37
like
9:37
new.
9:37
If
9:38
I
9:38
make
9:38
a
9:38
mistake,
9:39
let's
9:39
just
9:39
say
9:40
you
9:40
and
9:40
I
9:40
are
9:40
doing
9:40
it,
9:40
Eric,
9:41
and
9:41
you're
9:41
spraying
9:42
and
9:42
I
9:42
get
9:42
too
9:42
close
9:43
behind
9:43
you,
9:43
I
9:43
put
9:43
a
9:43
footprint
9:44
in
9:44
where
9:44
you're
9:44
spraying.
9:45
We
9:45
just
9:46
missed
9:46
another
9:46
coat
9:46
over
9:47
it.
9:47
It's
9:47
five
9:47
more
9:48
minutes
9:48
to
9:48
fix.
9:49
Wow.
9:50
It's
9:50
incredibly
9:50
forgiving,
9:51
which
9:51
is
9:52
a
9:52
beautiful
9:52
thing
9:53
when
9:53
you're
9:53
worried
9:54
about
9:54
making
9:54
doing
9:54
a
9:55
project
9:55
the
9:55
first
9:55
time.
9:56
Man,
9:56
that
9:56
is
9:57
DIY
9:57
friendly.
9:58
Because
9:58
I
9:58
tell
9:58
you
9:58
what
9:59
I
9:59
have
9:59
had
9:59
over
9:59
the
10:00
years.
10:00
I
10:01
am
10:01
not
10:01
a
10:01
concrete
10:01
professional
10:02
and
10:02
I
10:02
don't
10:02
even
10:02
play
10:02
one
10:03
on
10:03
tv.
10:03
But
10:03
I
10:03
tell
10:04
you
10:04
what,
10:04
I've
10:05
been
10:05
out
10:05
there
10:05
doing
10:05
repairs
10:06
and
10:06
things
10:06
like
10:06
that.
10:07
And
10:07
if
10:07
your
10:07
conditions
10:08
aren't
10:08
perfect,
10:08
if
10:09
you
10:09
don't
10:09
have
10:09
all
10:09
the
10:09
skills,
10:10
this.
10:11
Makes
10:11
it
10:11
so
10:11
much
10:12
easier.
10:12
You
10:13
have
10:13
been
10:13
listening
10:13
to
10:14
the
10:14
around
10:14
the
10:14
house
10:14
show.
10:15
To
10:15
find
10:15
out
10:16
more
10:16
about
10:16
like,
10:17
new
10:17
concrete,
10:18
head
10:18
to
10:18
likenuconcrete.com
10:20
we
10:21
will
10:21
be
10:21
right
10:21
back.
11:58
The
11:59
kids
11:59
these
11:59
days
12:00
will
12:00
never
12:01
understand
12:04
what
12:04
it's
12:05
like
12:05
to
12:05
play
12:06
an
12:06
instrument
12:07
and
12:08
be
12:08
in
12:08
a
12:09
band.
12:10
What's
12:10
up?
12:10
This
12:10
is
12:11
Sticksy,
12:11
Dania
12:12
and
12:12
Satchel
12:13
from
12:13
Steel
12:13
Panther.
12:14
And
12:14
you
12:15
are
12:15
listening
12:15
to
12:16
around
12:16
the
12:17
house
12:17
with
12:17
Eric
12:18
Garrett.
12:19
Yeah,
12:19
we
12:20
love
12:20
Eric
12:21
G.
12:21
And
12:21
you
12:21
should
12:22
too.
12:24
1987.
12:28
Welcome
12:29
back
12:29
to
12:29
the
12:29
around
12:29
the
12:30
house
12:30
show.
12:31
This
12:31
hour
12:31
is
12:31
brought
12:32
to
12:32
you
12:32
by
12:32
our
12:32
friends
12:33
at
12:33
Monument
12:33
Grill.
12:34
If
12:34
you
12:35
want
12:35
to
12:35
up
12:35
your
12:35
grill
12:36
game
12:36
with
12:36
affordable
12:37
luxury
12:37
and
12:37
outdoor
12:38
cooking,
12:38
check
12:39
them
12:39
out@monumentgrills.com
12:42
now
12:42
let's
12:43
get
12:43
back
12:43
to
12:43
restoring
12:44
concrete
12:45
with
12:45
like
12:45
new
12:45
concrete
12:46
and
12:46
continue
12:47
the
12:47
conversation
12:48
with
12:48
Eric
12:49
G.
12:49
And
12:49
Todd
12:50
Harri.
12:51
This
12:51
guys,
12:51
this
12:52
is
12:52
no
12:52
joke.
12:52
This
12:52
looks
12:52
like
12:53
brand
12:53
new
12:53
concrete
12:53
that
12:54
somebody
12:54
just
12:54
came
12:54
in
12:55
and.
12:55
And
12:56
being
12:56
that
12:56
it
12:56
is,
12:57
it
12:57
treats
12:57
that
12:57
same
12:58
way.
12:58
And
12:58
then
12:58
you've
12:58
got
12:58
it
12:59
sealed
12:59
and
12:59
you've
12:59
got
12:59
something
13:00
that's
13:00
going
13:00
to
13:00
last
13:01
a
13:01
long
13:01
time
13:02
because
13:02
it's
13:02
like
13:02
just
13:02
putting
13:03
that
13:03
fresh
13:03
coat
13:03
right
13:03
across
13:04
the
13:04
top.
13:05
Yeah.
13:05
We've
13:05
got
13:06
over
13:06
10
13:06
million
13:06
square
13:06
feet
13:07
that
13:07
we've
13:07
done
13:07
commercially
13:08
all
13:08
over
13:09
Southern
13:09
California
13:10
here
13:10
in
13:10
service.
13:11
And
13:11
it
13:11
wears
13:12
just
13:12
like
13:12
existing
13:12
concrete.
13:13
So
13:13
if
13:13
you
13:13
put
13:13
heavy
13:14
wear
13:14
on
13:14
it,
13:14
it'll
13:15
show
13:15
just
13:15
like
13:16
the
13:16
regular
13:16
concrete.
13:17
So
13:17
if
13:17
you
13:17
want
13:18
it
13:18
to
13:18
stay
13:18
looking
13:18
new,
13:18
you
13:19
respray
13:19
every
13:19
three
13:19
or
13:20
four
13:20
years.
13:21
Can
13:21
you
13:21
do
13:21
this
13:21
inside
13:22
the
13:22
garage?
13:22
So
13:23
let's
13:23
say
13:23
you've
13:23
got
13:23
that
13:23
concrete
13:24
garage
13:24
floor
13:25
in
13:25
there
13:25
and
13:25
it's
13:25
spalled
13:26
up.
13:26
Maybe
13:26
you've
13:27
been
13:27
dropping
13:27
tools
13:27
on
13:28
it
13:28
over
13:28
the
13:28
decades
13:28
or
13:29
whatever.
13:29
If
13:29
you
13:29
go
13:29
in
13:30
and
13:30
patch
13:30
that,
13:30
will
13:30
that
13:30
work
13:31
the
13:31
same
13:31
way
13:31
inside
13:32
on
13:32
a
13:32
concrete
13:33
floor
13:33
than
13:33
outside?
13:34
It
13:34
will.
13:35
The
13:35
concrete
13:36
inside
13:36
a
13:36
garage
13:36
floor
13:37
is
13:37
a
13:37
little
13:37
denser,
13:38
so
13:38
the
13:38
penetration
13:38
is
13:39
a
13:39
little
13:39
bit
13:39
more
13:39
difficult.
13:40
So
13:40
we're
13:40
actually
13:41
designing
13:41
a
13:41
kit
13:41
that
13:42
we'll
13:42
have
13:42
out
13:42
shortly
13:43
for
13:43
that.
13:43
But
13:43
they
13:43
could
13:44
use
13:44
our
13:44
regular
13:44
kit.
13:45
They
13:45
just
13:45
want
13:45
to
13:46
etch
13:46
that
13:46
concrete
13:46
with.
13:47
We
13:47
like
13:48
environmental
13:48
etch
13:49
because
13:49
it's
13:49
just
13:49
better
13:50
when
13:50
if
13:50
it
13:51
runs
13:51
off
13:52
just
13:52
to
13:52
open
13:52
up
13:52
the
13:52
pores
13:53
a
13:53
little
13:53
bit,
13:53
it's
13:53
going
13:54
to
13:54
be
13:54
an
13:54
easier
13:54
job.
13:55
We
13:55
have
13:56
people
13:56
using
13:56
regular,
13:56
like
13:57
Nuon,
13:57
and
13:57
we
13:57
do
13:58
commercially
13:58
garage
13:59
floors.
14:00
Just
14:00
if
14:00
you
14:00
etch
14:00
it
14:01
again,
14:01
it'll
14:01
spray
14:02
on
14:02
just
14:02
the
14:02
same.
14:02
It
14:02
just
14:03
opens
14:03
those
14:03
pores
14:03
up
14:03
a
14:04
little
14:04
bit.
14:04
Yeah,
14:04
because
14:05
sometimes
14:05
they
14:05
really
14:05
get
14:05
that
14:06
nice
14:06
hard
14:06
floor
14:07
in
14:07
there.
14:07
And
14:07
it
14:07
got
14:07
that
14:08
polish
14:08
on
14:08
it,
14:08
which
14:08
means
14:09
they've
14:09
made
14:10
it
14:10
a
14:10
little
14:10
harder
14:10
for
14:10
anything
14:11
to
14:11
penetrate,
14:11
including
14:11
oil
14:12
or
14:12
anything
14:12
else
14:12
yet.
14:13
Yeah,
14:14
makes
14:14
sense.
14:15
And
14:15
then,
14:15
of
14:15
course,
14:15
this
14:16
product
14:16
in
14:16
your
14:16
backyard,
14:17
around
14:17
that
14:17
pool
14:18
deck
14:18
or
14:18
anything
14:18
else,
14:18
it's
14:19
the
14:19
same
14:19
type
14:19
of
14:19
thing,
14:20
right?
14:20
You
14:20
can
14:20
use
14:21
it
14:21
just
14:21
like
14:21
you
14:21
do
14:21
out
14:22
front.
14:23
Yeah.
14:23
We
14:23
get
14:23
a
14:23
ton
14:24
of
14:24
customers
14:24
with
14:25
different
14:25
situations,
14:26
stains.
14:27
We've
14:27
had
14:27
several
14:28
come
14:28
and
14:29
they
14:29
report
14:30
part
14:30
of
14:30
their
14:30
backyard.
14:31
So
14:31
they
14:31
repair
14:32
poured
14:32
their
14:32
pool
14:32
deck,
14:33
but
14:33
not
14:33
their
14:33
patio.
14:33
And
14:33
now
14:34
you
14:34
got
14:34
mismatched
14:34
concrete,
14:35
and
14:36
nobody
14:36
wants
14:36
that.
14:37
Lightning
14:37
is
14:37
perfect.
14:38
You
14:38
just
14:38
blend
14:38
it
14:39
all
14:39
together.
14:40
I
14:40
just
14:40
had
14:40
a
14:40
customer
14:41
buy
14:41
a
14:41
number
14:42
of
14:42
kits.
14:42
He
14:42
has
14:42
a
14:42
large
14:43
yard
14:43
because
14:44
he
14:44
didn't
14:44
like
14:45
the
14:45
finish
14:45
on
14:45
the
14:46
concrete
14:46
they
14:46
poured.
14:46
Came
14:47
out
14:47
a
14:47
little
14:47
bit
14:47
different
14:48
color
14:48
than
14:48
what
14:48
he
14:48
wanted.
14:49
I
14:49
think
14:50
it
14:50
was
14:50
a
14:50
little
14:50
bit
14:50
too
14:50
dark
14:51
for
14:51
him
14:52
around,
14:52
and
14:53
his
14:53
patio
14:53
was
14:53
a
14:54
weathered,
14:54
almost
14:54
yellow
14:55
concrete.
14:55
He's
14:56
like,
14:56
can
14:56
I
14:56
just
14:56
spray
14:56
this
14:56
and
14:57
all
14:57
be
14:57
the
14:57
same
14:57
color.
14:57
And
14:58
I
14:58
said,
14:58
absolutely.
14:59
So
14:59
it's
14:59
great
14:59
for
15:00
those.
15:00
All
15:01
those
15:01
different
15:01
types
15:01
of
15:02
situations,
15:03
whether
15:03
you're
15:03
restoring
15:04
around
15:04
your
15:05
pool
15:05
deck
15:05
or
15:06
you
15:06
want
15:06
to
15:06
blend
15:07
in
15:07
your
15:07
whole
15:07
backyard
15:07
because
15:08
you
15:08
had
15:08
to
15:08
pour
15:08
a
15:08
new
15:08
pad
15:09
or
15:10
replace
15:10
part
15:10
of
15:11
a
15:11
pad.
15:12
Yeah,
15:12
that
15:12
makes
15:12
sense.
15:13
And
15:13
then
15:13
you
15:13
could
15:13
use
15:14
this
15:14
too,
15:14
as
15:15
like
15:15
you
15:15
just
15:15
mentioned.
15:16
I
15:16
actually
15:16
saw.
15:16
It's
15:17
actually
15:17
one
15:17
of
15:17
my
15:17
relatives
15:18
house.
15:18
They
15:18
did
15:18
a
15:19
poured
15:19
concrete
15:20
driveway
15:21
years
15:21
ago,
15:22
but
15:22
in
15:22
the
15:23
heavy
15:23
sun,
15:23
it's
15:23
faded
15:24
out.
15:24
And
15:24
so
15:25
it
15:25
went
15:25
from
15:25
a
15:25
really
15:26
cool
15:26
clay
15:26
color
15:27
to
15:27
almost
15:27
a
15:27
peach
15:28
color.
15:29
You
15:29
could
15:29
go
15:29
through
15:29
and
15:30
technically
15:30
go
15:30
over
15:31
the
15:31
top
15:31
of
15:31
this
15:31
and
15:31
make
15:31
that
15:32
look
15:32
a
15:32
little
15:32
bit
15:32
better.
15:33
Yeah.
15:33
You
15:34
can
15:34
also
15:34
tint
15:35
like
15:35
new.
15:35
So
15:36
you
15:36
can
15:36
buy
15:36
a
15:36
color
15:37
mix
15:37
and
15:38
make
15:38
it
15:38
a
15:38
custom
15:39
color
15:39
that
15:39
you
15:39
want
15:40
from
15:40
all
15:41
the
15:41
work
15:41
we've
15:41
done.
15:41
We
15:41
use
15:42
dry
15:42
cement
15:43
color
15:43
mixes.
15:44
Or
15:45
like
15:45
at
15:45
Home
15:45
Depot,
15:46
which
15:46
is
15:46
one
15:46
of
15:46
our
15:46
retailers,
15:47
they
15:47
sell
15:47
La
15:47
Quinta
15:48
stucco
15:48
color.
15:49
That
15:49
works
15:49
great.
15:50
We
15:50
have
15:50
some
15:51
guidance
15:51
on
15:51
our
15:51
site,
15:52
but
15:52
just
15:52
for
15:53
your
15:53
listeners.
15:54
Typically
15:54
with
15:54
our
15:54
product
15:55
commercially,
15:55
we
15:55
use
15:56
about
15:56
1
15:56
ounce
15:56
per
15:56
100
15:57
square
15:57
feet.
15:58
But
15:58
you
15:58
have
15:58
to
15:58
test.
15:59
Anytime
15:59
you
15:59
use
16:00
color
16:00
on
16:00
any
16:00
concrete,
16:01
you
16:01
got
16:01
to
16:01
test
16:01
it.
16:02
So
16:02
you
16:02
use
16:02
a
16:02
little
16:02
bit
16:03
less.
16:03
Go
16:03
lighter
16:04
to
16:04
darker,
16:05
and
16:06
once
16:06
you
16:06
get
16:06
the
16:06
right
16:06
color,
16:07
just
16:07
spray
16:08
it
16:08
in
16:09
nice.
16:09
It's
16:09
just
16:10
like
16:10
making
16:10
that
16:10
recipe
16:11
Drop
16:11
it
16:11
in
16:11
there,
16:11
get
16:12
it
16:12
consistent,
16:12
you're
16:13
good
16:13
to
16:13
go.
16:13
Yeah.
16:14
And
16:14
mix
16:14
thoroughly
16:15
with
16:15
colors
16:15
because
16:15
they
16:15
can
16:16
streak
16:16
when
16:16
you're
16:16
doing
16:16
them
16:17
in
16:17
concrete.
16:18
Yeah,
16:18
that
16:18
makes
16:18
a
16:19
lot
16:19
of
16:19
sense.
16:19
And
16:20
then
16:20
I
16:20
see
16:20
on
16:20
your
16:20
website
16:21
you
16:21
guys
16:21
have
16:21
a
16:21
bunch
16:22
of
16:22
different
16:22
kits
16:22
and
16:22
stuff
16:23
on
16:23
there
16:23
depending
16:23
on
16:24
the
16:24
size,
16:24
is
16:24
that
16:24
correct?
16:25
Yeah.
16:26
So
16:26
we
16:26
came
16:26
out
16:26
initially
16:27
with
16:27
the,
16:28
we
16:28
call
16:28
it
16:28
the
16:28
400
16:29
kit.
16:29
It's
16:29
400
16:29
square
16:30
feet
16:30
is
16:30
what
16:30
that
16:31
covers.
16:32
It
16:32
typically
16:32
takes
16:33
two
16:33
light
16:34
coats
16:34
of
16:35
like
16:35
new.
16:36
But
16:36
we've
16:36
done,
16:37
we
16:37
just
16:37
did
16:37
like
16:37
a
16:37
42
16:38
year
16:38
old
16:38
driveway
16:39
that
16:39
needed
16:39
a
16:39
third
16:39
coat.
16:40
There's
16:40
enough
16:40
in
16:41
there
16:41
to
16:41
do
16:41
three
16:41
coats
16:42
because
16:42
different
16:43
projects,
16:43
if
16:43
they
16:44
have
16:44
heavy
16:44
repairs
16:44
or
16:45
something
16:45
like
16:45
that,
16:46
we
16:46
want
16:46
to
16:46
make
16:46
sure
16:46
everybody's
16:47
covered.
16:47
So
16:47
that
16:48
kit
16:48
covers
16:48
400
16:48
square
16:49
feet.
16:50
We
16:50
have
16:50
a
16:50
200
16:51
square
16:51
foot.
16:51
200
16:52
kit
16:53
that
16:53
is
16:53
just
16:53
for
16:54
smaller
16:54
jobs
16:54
or
16:55
for
16:55
people
16:55
to
16:55
try
16:55
it
16:56
out.
16:56
And
16:57
then
16:57
we
16:57
have
16:57
the
16:57
driveway,
16:58
which
16:58
is
16:58
an
16:58
all
16:58
in
16:58
one,
16:59
which
16:59
includes
17:00
600
17:00
square
17:00
feet
17:01
of
17:01
material.
17:02
Oil
17:02
stain
17:02
remover,
17:03
which
17:03
is
17:04
an
17:04
industrial
17:04
application.
17:05
So
17:05
you
17:05
put
17:06
that
17:06
on,
17:06
let
17:07
it
17:07
set
17:07
for
17:07
a
17:07
couple
17:08
hours,
17:08
it
17:08
pushes
17:09
the
17:09
oil
17:09
to
17:09
the
17:09
surface
17:10
and
17:10
you
17:10
sand
17:11
it
17:11
off
17:11
with
17:11
a
17:11
hand
17:11
sander
17:13
versus
17:13
a
17:13
degreaser,
17:14
which
17:15
degreasers
17:15
work
17:15
about
17:16
half
17:16
the
17:16
time.
17:17
So
17:17
our
17:17
industrial
17:17
application
17:18
works
17:18
every
17:18
time
17:19
because
17:19
it
17:19
gets
17:19
underneath
17:19
and
17:20
pushes
17:20
it
17:20
up
17:21
and
17:21
then
17:21
it
17:21
has
17:21
a
17:21
sealer
17:22
on
17:22
there
17:22
to
17:22
finish
17:23
the
17:23
job.
17:23
For
17:23
a
17:23
driveway,
17:24
man,
17:25
that
17:25
is
17:25
a
17:25
great
17:26
buy
17:26
for
17:26
that
17:26
too
17:27
because
17:27
you
17:27
basically
17:28
can
17:28
take
17:28
care
17:28
of
17:28
all
17:29
the
17:29
issues
17:29
there
17:29
with,
17:29
with
17:30
the
17:30
oil
17:30
and
17:30
grease
17:31
or
17:31
whatever
17:31
and
17:31
then
17:32
you've
17:32
got
17:32
everything
17:32
all
17:32
the
17:33
way
17:33
through
17:33
the
17:33
sealer
17:34
at
17:34
the
17:34
end.
17:34
So
17:34
that's
17:35
just
17:35
the
17:35
all
17:35
in
17:35
one
17:35
stop.
17:36
And
17:37
it's
17:37
so
17:37
affordable
17:38
compared
17:39
to
17:39
geesh
17:40
anything
17:41
else
17:41
out
17:41
there
17:42
for
17:42
what
17:42
you
17:42
get
17:42
out
17:43
of
17:43
that
17:43
and
17:43
the
17:43
value.
17:44
So
17:44
the
17:44
value
17:44
is
17:44
just
17:45
extreme
17:45
in
17:45
this
17:46
for
17:47
what's
17:47
it
17:47
basically
17:48
a
17:48
day
17:48
to
17:48
get
17:49
prep
17:49
and
17:49
a
17:49
day
17:49
to
17:50
put
17:50
it
17:50
on
17:50
and
17:51
you're
17:52
good
17:52
to
17:52
go.
17:53
Yeah,
17:53
we
17:54
worked
17:54
hard.
17:54
We
17:54
have
17:54
custom
17:55
materials
17:55
that
17:56
are
17:57
inexpensive,
17:57
but
17:58
we
17:58
wanted
17:58
to
17:58
bring
17:58
it
17:58
to
17:59
under
17:59
a
17:59
dollar
17:59
square
18:00
foot,
18:00
including
18:01
buying
18:02
a
18:02
deck
18:02
sprayer,
18:03
any
18:03
masking
18:03
material,
18:04
associated
18:05
stuff.
18:05
We
18:05
wanted
18:06
the
18:06
project
18:07
under
18:07
a
18:07
dollar
18:07
a
18:08
square
18:08
foot
18:08
and
18:09
we
18:09
worked
18:09
hard
18:09
to
18:09
get
18:10
it
18:10
there.
18:10
Plus
18:11
ease
18:11
of
18:11
use
18:11
and
18:12
limited
18:12
time
18:12
needed
18:13
to
18:13
do
18:13
it.
18:13
Your
18:13
time's
18:14
valuable
18:15
for
18:15
all
18:16
the
18:16
people
18:16
listening
18:16
out
18:17
there.
18:17
So
18:17
when
18:17
you
18:17
blend
18:17
that
18:17
all
18:18
together,
18:18
we're
18:18
much
18:20
a
18:20
much
18:20
better
18:20
solution.
18:22
No
18:22
kidding.
18:22
No
18:23
kidding.
18:23
And
18:23
I
18:23
just
18:24
love
18:24
that
18:24
it
18:24
penetrates
18:25
in
18:26
so
18:26
it's
18:26
not
18:26
some
18:26
kind
18:26
of
18:27
Just
18:27
a
18:27
coat
18:27
that
18:27
flakes
18:28
off.
18:28
It's
18:28
something
18:28
that
18:29
just
18:29
bonds
18:29
itself
18:30
there.
18:30
So
18:30
you've
18:30
got
18:30
that
18:31
durability
18:32
and
18:32
it's
18:32
going
18:32
to
18:32
look
18:32
great
18:33
for
18:33
years
18:33
to
18:33
come.
18:34
Yeah,
18:35
exactly.
18:35
Again,
18:35
we've
18:36
been
18:36
around
18:36
since
18:36
93
18:37
commercially
18:38
doing
18:38
work.
18:39
And
18:39
the
18:39
overlays
18:40
and
18:40
paints,
18:40
they
18:40
trap
18:40
the
18:41
moisture.
18:42
So
18:42
ultimately,
18:42
as
18:42
that
18:43
moisture
18:43
comes
18:43
up,
18:43
it's
18:44
going
18:44
to
18:44
cause
18:45
blistering,
18:45
peeling,
18:46
and
18:47
nobody
18:47
wants
18:47
that.
18:47
It's
18:48
a
18:48
horrible
18:48
look.
18:48
This
18:49
is
18:49
concrete
18:50
that
18:50
penetrates
18:51
into
18:51
and
18:51
transforms
18:52
the
18:52
existing
18:52
concrete.
18:53
It
18:53
absorbs
18:54
right
18:54
into
18:54
it.
18:55
I'm
18:55
sure
18:55
in
18:55
the
18:56
commercial
18:56
world
18:56
you
18:57
had
18:57
to
18:57
get
18:58
so
18:58
many
18:58
different
18:59
engineers
19:00
and
19:00
everybody
19:00
to
19:01
sign
19:01
off
19:01
on
19:01
this
19:01
stuff
19:02
because
19:02
so
19:03
many
19:03
times
19:03
when
19:03
you're
19:04
dealing
19:04
with
19:04
those
19:04
specifications,
19:06
it
19:06
gets
19:06
pretty
19:06
complex.
19:08
It
19:08
is.
19:08
And
19:09
like
19:09
our
19:09
major
19:10
customers
19:10
are
19:10
the
19:10
home
19:11
builders
19:11
because
19:11
they
19:12
lay
19:12
out
19:12
their
19:12
concrete
19:13
driveway
19:14
sidewalks
19:15
and
19:15
so
19:15
forth
19:15
and
19:15
their
19:16
subcontractors
19:16
come
19:17
in
19:17
to
19:17
finish
19:17
the
19:17
homes
19:18
and
19:18
they're
19:18
really
19:18
rough
19:19
on
19:19
the
19:19
concrete
19:19
and
19:19
damage
19:20
it.
19:20
Those
19:21
builders
19:21
have
19:21
bonds
19:22
with
19:22
this
19:22
people.
19:22
You're
19:23
talking
19:23
about
19:23
the
19:23
cities
19:24
and
19:24
the
19:24
counties
19:25
here
19:25
in
19:25
Southern
19:26
California.
19:27
And
19:27
those
19:27
are
19:28
multi
19:28
million
19:28
dollar
19:28
bonds
19:29
that
19:30
aren't
19:30
lifted
19:30
unless
19:31
the
19:31
concrete
19:31
is
19:31
brand
19:32
new
19:32
because
19:33
these
19:33
are
19:33
new
19:33
home
19:33
builds
19:34
and
19:34
that's
19:35
what
19:35
the
19:35
city
19:35
requires.
19:36
So
19:36
for
19:36
them
19:37
to
19:37
remove
19:37
and
19:38
replace,
19:39
it's
19:39
up
19:39
to
19:39
$100
19:40
per
19:40
square
19:41
foot.
19:42
And
19:42
we
19:42
come
19:42
in,
19:42
we'll
19:43
make
19:43
the
19:43
repairs
19:43
like
19:44
you
19:44
talked
19:44
about,
19:44
doing
19:45
them
19:45
properly.
19:45
We
19:46
spray
19:46
like
19:46
new.
19:47
They
19:47
tested
19:48
us
19:48
over
19:48
several
19:48
years
19:49
before
19:49
they
19:49
would
19:49
allow
19:50
us.
19:50
So
19:51
the
19:51
builders
19:51
use
19:51
us
19:52
because
19:52
we're
19:52
much
19:52
more
19:53
cost
19:53
effective
19:54
but
19:54
certified
19:55
by
19:56
the
19:56
municipalities
19:57
and
19:57
then
19:58
their
19:58
bonds
19:58
can
19:58
be
19:58
lifted.
19:59
So
19:59
we're
20:00
really
20:00
the
20:00
only
20:00
ones
20:01
besides
20:01
being
20:02
able
20:02
to
20:02
remove
20:02
and
20:02
replace
20:04
that
20:04
are
20:04
allowed.
20:05
So
20:05
we
20:05
repair
20:06
everything
20:06
for
20:06
them
20:06
except
20:07
for
20:07
cracks.
20:08
And
20:08
the
20:08
reason
20:08
we
20:09
don't
20:09
do
20:09
cracks
20:09
is
20:09
cracks
20:10
come
20:10
back
20:10
because
20:10
there's
20:11
an
20:11
underlying
20:11
issue.
20:12
But
20:12
yes,
20:13
certified
20:14
county
20:14
of
20:14
Riverside,
20:15
San
20:15
Diego,
20:16
here
20:16
in
20:16
Orange
20:17
county,
20:17
many
20:18
of
20:18
the
20:18
cities
20:19
we
20:19
do
20:19
work
20:19
for,
20:19
Laguna
20:20
beach,
20:20
which
20:20
is
20:20
one
20:21
of
20:21
the
20:21
most
20:21
the
20:22
strictest
20:23
cities
20:24
probably
20:24
in
20:24
the
20:24
country
20:25
with
20:25
environmental
20:26
standards
20:27
and
20:27
how
20:27
they
20:27
look
20:27
at
20:27
everything.
20:28
And
20:28
we've
20:29
helped
20:29
restore
20:29
and
20:29
do
20:30
concrete
20:30
work
20:30
for
20:30
them
20:31

20:31
well.

going
22:50
to
22:50
save
22:50
you
22:50
money
22:50
if
22:51
you
22:51
are
22:51
replacing

windows
22:52
in
22:52
your
22:52

22:53
Yeah,
22:53
that
22:53
makes
22:53
sense.
22:54
All
22:54
it
22:54
takes
22:54
is
22:54
a
22:54
delivery
22:55
driver
22:55
with
22:55
a
22:55
forklift
22:56
out
22:56
there
22:56
to
22:56
to
22:57

22:57

22:57

22:58

pallet
22:59
with
22:59
some
22:59
exposed
23:00
nails
23:00
on
23:00
a
23:01
maybe
23:01
concrete
23:02
that
23:02
wasn't
23:02
fully
23:03
cured
23:03
and
23:03
you
23:03
could
23:04
have
23:04
a
23:04
heck
23:04
of
23:04
a
23:04
mess.
23:05
And
23:05
nobody
23:05
wants
23:06
to
23:06
be
23:06
in
23:06
there
23:06
taking
23:06
that
23:06
back
23:07
out
23:07
and
23:07
have
23:07
to
23:07
report
23:07
that
23:08
again.
23:08
That
23:08
really
23:08
messes
23:09
with
23:09
the
23:09
job
23:09
site.
23:10
Yeah.
23:10
Or
23:10
even
23:11
F250
23:11
hitting
23:12
the
23:12
curb
23:12
wrong.
23:13
All
23:13
that.
23:14
It's
23:14
amazing
23:15
how
23:15
much
23:15
damage
23:15
gets
23:15
done.
23:16
Nice.
23:17
Are
23:17
there
23:18
any
23:18
other
23:18
tricks
23:18
and
23:19
tips
23:19
you've
23:19
got
23:19
to
23:20
this,
23:20
Todd?
23:20
Because
23:21
this
23:21
stuff
23:22
is
23:22
darn
23:22
simple
23:22
really.
23:23
If
23:23
you
23:23
just
23:23
follow
23:23
the
23:24
directions.
23:24
It
23:24
looks
23:24
like
23:24
this
23:25
is
23:25
a
23:25
pretty.
23:25
Easy
23:25
way
23:25
to
23:26
go.
23:27
Yeah.
23:27
Just
23:27
a
23:27
couple
23:27
things
23:28
again
23:28
we
23:28
mentioned
23:29
earlier,
23:29
but
23:29
I
23:29
want
23:29
to
23:29
reiterate.
23:30
Just
23:30
clean
23:30
as
23:30
well
23:30
as
23:30
you
23:31
can.
23:31
You
23:32
don't
23:32
have
23:32
to
23:32
go
23:32
crazy.
23:32
But
23:33
if
23:33
you
23:33
clean
23:33
it,
23:33
the
23:34
pores
23:34
are
23:34
going
23:34
to
23:34
be
23:34
open
23:35
the
23:35
best
23:36
way.
23:36
People
23:36
are
23:36
a
23:36
little
23:36
intimidated.
23:37
Spraying,
23:37
super
23:38
easy.
23:38
But
23:38
the
23:39
best
23:39
way
23:39
is
23:39
just
23:39
to
23:39
put
23:39
some
23:40
water
23:40
in
23:40
the
23:40
sprayer
23:41
and
23:41
spray
23:41
on
23:41
water.
23:42
It's
23:42
going
23:42
to
23:42
go
23:42
on
23:42
the
23:43
same
23:43
way.
23:43
It's
23:43
97%
23:44
the
23:44
same.
23:45
So
23:45
when
23:45
you
23:46
see
23:46
that
23:46
water
23:46
fall,
23:46
you
23:47
put
23:47
it
23:47
in
23:47
a
23:47
medium
23:48
mist.
23:48
It's
23:49
just
23:49
falling
23:49
on
23:49
there.
23:50
You
23:50
don't
23:50
stay
23:50
on
23:50
one
23:51
spot.
23:51
You
23:51
keep
23:51
moving
23:52
because
23:52
you
23:52
don't
23:53
want
23:53
to
23:53
pull
23:53
this
23:53
stuff
23:53
up.
23:54
So
23:54
you
23:54
just
23:54
practice
23:54
with
23:54
water
23:55
a
23:55
little
23:55
bit
23:55
the
23:55
day
23:55
before
23:56
and
23:56
then
23:57
you
23:57
go
23:57
to
23:57
do
23:57
it
23:57
and
23:57
you're
23:58
like,
23:58
I
23:58
got
23:58
this
23:58
down.
23:58
And
23:59
we
23:59
have
23:59
good
23:59
instructions.
24:00
Your
24:00
point
24:01
earlier,
24:01
follow
24:01
the
24:01
instructions.
24:02
We've
24:02
got
24:03
a
24:03
number
24:03
of
24:03
videos.
24:04
We're
24:04
making
24:04
about
24:04
10
24:05
more
24:05
videos
24:05
right
24:06
now.
24:06
More
24:06
specific
24:07
with
24:07
color,
24:08
with
24:08
specifics
24:09
on
24:09
spraying.
24:10
A
24:10
little
24:10
bit
24:10
more
24:10
detail
24:11
work
24:11
on
24:11
driveway.
24:12
So
24:13
just
24:13
follow
24:13
the
24:13
instructions
24:14
and
24:15
the
24:15
spraying
24:15
is
24:15
really
24:15
easy.
24:16
Anybody
24:16
from
24:16
12
24:17
to
24:17
70
24:17
can
24:18
do
24:18
this.
24:19
The
24:19
main
24:19
instructional
24:20
video
24:20
I
24:20
have
24:20
right
24:20
now
24:20
is
24:21
Two
24:21
Housewives.
24:21
I
24:22
trained
24:22
for
24:22
five
24:22
minutes.
24:23
Nice.
24:24
So
24:25
nice.
24:26
Don't
24:26
be
24:26
intimidated.
24:27
This
24:27
is
24:27
user
24:27
friendly
24:28
concrete.
24:28
It's
24:29
the
24:29
only
24:29
user
24:29
friendly
24:30
concrete.
24:31
I
24:31
was
24:31
just
24:31
gonna
24:31
say
24:32
that's
24:32
about
24:32
the
24:32
only
24:32
one
24:33
that's
24:33
user
24:33
friendly
24:33
out
24:34
there
24:34
because
24:35
it's
24:35
tough,
24:35
especially
24:36
for
24:36
timers.
24:36
And
24:37
this
24:37
is
24:37
a
24:37
great
24:37
way
24:38
to
24:38
do
24:38
it.
24:38
Todd,
24:38
where
24:39
can
24:39
people
24:39
find
24:39
this
24:40
stuff
24:40
at?
24:40
I
24:40
know
24:40
it's
24:40
in
24:41
home
24:41
Depot
24:41
in
24:41
the
24:41
south,
24:42
down
24:42
there
24:42
in
24:42
the
24:42
la.
24:43
And
24:43
if
24:43
I
24:43
remember
24:44
right,
24:44
it
24:44
was
24:44
like
24:44
in
24:44
the
24:44
la,
24:45
Southern
24:45
California
24:46
area.
24:46
Of
24:46
course,
24:46
you've
24:47
got
24:47
Nevada,
24:47
Arizona
24:48
and.
24:48
Some
24:48
other
24:48
places,
24:49
right?
24:49
Yeah,
24:50
we're
24:50
in
24:50
the
24:50
Home
24:50
Depot
24:51
stores
24:51
in
24:51
what
24:52
you
24:52
mentioned,
24:52
Arizona,
24:52
Nevada
24:53
and
24:53
Southern
24:53
California.
24:54
We're
24:55
on
24:55
home
24:55
depot.com
24:56
so
24:56
they
24:57
can
24:57
order
24:57
all
24:57
these
24:58
products
24:58
on
24:58
homedepot.com
24:59
and
24:59
have
24:59
them
24:59
shipped
24:59
to
24:59
their
25:00
house
25:00
or
25:00
their
25:00
local
25:01
store.
25:02
We
25:02
also
25:03
have
25:03
our
25:03
own
25:03
website
25:03
at
25:04
like
25:04
newconcrete.com
25:05
where
25:06
they
25:06
can
25:06
come
25:06
directly.
25:07
And
25:08
coming
25:08
in
25:08
the
25:08
fall,
25:09
we'll
25:09
be
25:09
in
25:09
several
25:10
Do
25:10
It
25:10
Best
25:10
stores,
25:11
Do
25:11
It
25:11
Best
25:11
Bought,
25:12
True
25:12
Value.
25:13
And
25:13
we're
25:13
working
25:14
on
25:14
that,
25:14
that
25:14
rollout
25:15
with
25:15
them.
25:16
And
25:16
they
25:16
can
25:17
also,
25:17
if
25:17
it's
25:18
professionals
25:18
listening
25:19
out
25:19
there,
25:19
they
25:19
use
25:19
Whitecap.
25:20
They
25:20
can
25:20
order
25:21
us
25:21
through
25:21
Whitecap,
25:22
man,
25:23
that
25:23
is
25:24
great.
25:24
And
25:24
this
25:24
has
25:24
got
25:25
to
25:25
be
25:25
just
25:25
the
25:26
solution
25:27
for
25:27
so
25:27
many
25:27
builders,
25:28
remodelers
25:29
and
25:29
stuff
25:29
out
25:29
there
25:29
that
25:30
have
25:30
those
25:30
job
25:30
site
25:31
issues
25:31
where
25:32
maybe
25:32
the
25:32
driveway
25:33
was
25:33
great
25:33
and
25:33
they're
25:33
in
25:33
there
25:33
doing
25:34
the
25:34
kitchen
25:34
model
25:34
and
25:35
somebody
25:35
drops
25:35
the
25:35
dumpster
25:36
off
25:36
and
25:37
stains
25:37
it
25:37
up
25:37
or
25:38
whatever.
25:38
You
25:38
can
25:38
come
25:38
in
25:38
and
25:39
get
25:39
this
25:39
thing
25:39
looking
25:39
good
25:40
and
25:40
everybody's
25:41
happy
25:42
without
25:42
having
25:42
a
25:42
couple
25:43
week
25:43
project
25:43
of
25:43
having
25:44
to
25:44
tear
25:44
that
25:44
whole
25:44
thing
25:44
out
25:44
and
25:45
put
25:45
it
25:45
back
25:45
in
25:45
again.
25:46
Yeah,
25:46
there's
25:47
just
25:47
so
25:47
many
25:47
different
25:48
situations
25:48
that
25:49
we've
25:49
had
25:49
with
25:50
people
25:50
from
25:51
the
25:51
Midwest
25:52
and
25:52
extreme
25:52
cold
25:52
where
25:52
they're
25:53
salting
25:53
up
25:53
and
25:53
it's
25:54
stained
25:54
it
25:54
out
25:55
to
25:55
rust
25:55
drops,
25:56
to
25:56
dumpster
25:57
drops,
25:57
to
25:58
painters
25:59
spilling
26:00
and
26:00
then
26:00
they
26:00
grind
26:01
off
26:01
the
26:01
paint.
26:01
It
26:01
looks
26:02
horrible.
26:02
So
26:02
they
26:02
got
26:03
to
26:03
restore
26:03
it
26:04
just
26:04
over
26:04
and
26:04
over
26:05
again.
26:05
There's
26:06
concrete
26:06
lifting
26:07
companies
26:07
that
26:07
are
26:07
doing
26:08
the
26:08
concrete
26:08
lifts
26:08
or
26:09
drawing
26:09
holes
26:09
in
26:09
the
26:09
concrete.
26:10
Looks
26:10
it's
26:11
level,
26:11
which
26:11
is
26:11
great,
26:12
but
26:12
it
26:12
looks
26:12
terrible
26:13
afterwards.
26:14
So
26:14
using
26:14
a
26:14
restoration
26:15
after
26:15
that
26:16
and
26:16
it's
26:17
just
26:17
simple
26:17
to
26:17
spray
26:18
on
26:18
the
26:18
concrete
26:18
mix.
26:19
And
26:19
it's
26:19
brand
26:19
new
26:20
concrete.
26:20
Man,
26:21
this
26:21
is
26:21
great.
26:21
I
26:21
got
26:22
a
26:22
question.
26:22
Does
26:22
this
26:22
work
26:22
on
26:23
retaining
26:23
walls
26:23
and
26:23
stuff
26:24
like
26:24
that?
26:24
Like
26:24
that
26:24
too,
26:25
that
26:25
have
26:25
that.
26:25
I
26:25
know
26:25
it's
26:26
a
26:26
different
26:26
surface,
26:27
so
26:27
it's
26:27
got
26:27
to
26:28
be
26:28
a
26:28
little
26:28
harder
26:28
to
26:28
do
26:28
something
26:29
like
26:29
that.
26:29
As
26:29
long
26:29
as
26:30
it's
26:30
porous
26:30
concrete.
26:31
We
26:31
have
26:31
a
26:31
university
26:32
down
26:32
here
26:32
in
26:32
Southern
26:33
California
26:33
with
26:33
a
26:33
30,000
26:34
square
26:34
foot
26:34
retaining
26:35
wall
26:35
that
26:35
got
26:35
graffiti
26:36
up.
26:37
So
26:37
they're
26:37
both
26:38
spraying
26:38
and
26:38
rolling
26:38
it
26:39
in.
26:39
And
26:40
yeah,
26:40
as
26:40
long
26:41
as
26:41
it
26:41
can
26:41
penetrate
26:42
verticals,
26:43
a
26:43
little
26:43
bit
26:43
more
26:43
work,
26:44
because
26:45
you
26:45
want
26:45
to
26:45
use
26:45
the
26:45
back
26:46
roll
26:46
to
26:46
stop
26:47
runs,
26:48
but
26:48
absolutely,
26:49
it
26:49
can
26:49
work
26:49
on.
26:50
It
26:50
can
26:51
also
26:51
work
26:51
on
26:51
bricks,
26:52
pavers.
26:53
There's
26:53
many
26:53
People
26:54
in
26:54
Arizona,
26:54
there's
26:55
a
26:55
couple
26:55
different
26:55
companies
26:55
doing
26:56
restoration
26:56
on
26:57
pavers
26:57
with
26:58
our
26:58
product.
26:59
Wow.
26:59
So
26:59
this
26:59
would
26:59
even
27:00
be
27:00
good
27:00
for
27:00
some
27:00
foundation
27:01
companies
27:01
out
27:01
there
27:02
that
27:02
are
27:02
having
27:02
to
27:02
do
27:02
some
27:03
repairs
27:03
and
27:03
they
27:03
want
27:03
to
27:03
get
27:03
that
27:04
looking
27:04
the
27:04
same
27:04
without
27:04
having
27:05
to
27:05
throw
27:05
a
27:06
paint
27:06
on
27:06
it
27:06
that's
27:06
going
27:06
to
27:06
come
27:07
off.
27:07
This
27:07
would
27:07
be
27:07
a
27:07
great
27:07
way
27:08
to
27:08
do
27:08
that.
27:08
Exactly.
27:10
And
27:11
the
27:11
uses
27:12
are
27:12
endless.
27:12
Todd,
27:13
thanks
27:13
for
27:13
coming
27:13
on
27:13
today,
27:14
man.
27:14
I
27:14
appreciate
27:14
it.
27:15
And
27:15
where
27:15
do
27:15
people
27:16
find
27:16
all
27:16
the
27:16
information
27:16
on
27:17
your
27:17
website?
27:17
Because
27:17
I
27:18
know
27:18
you
27:18
guys
27:18
have
27:18
some
27:18
videos
27:19
on
27:19
there
27:19
as
27:19
well.
27:20
Yeah.
27:20
So
27:20
there's.
27:21
If
27:21
you
27:21
go
27:21
to
27:21
like
27:22
new
27:22
nu
27:23
concrete.com
27:24
There's
27:25
a
27:25
videos
27:25
tab.
27:26
There's
27:27
several
27:27
different
27:27
pieces
27:28
of
27:28
information
27:28
on
27:28
there.
27:29
If
27:29
they
27:29
think
27:29
through
27:30
and
27:30
if
27:30
it
27:31
there's
27:31
a
27:31
fax
27:31
page
27:32
and
27:32
if
27:32
your
27:32
question
27:32
is
27:33
not
27:33
answered,
27:33
just
27:33
email
27:34
us
27:34
into
27:34
us.
27:35
You
27:35
can
27:35
email
27:36
infoikenewconcrete.com
27:38
again,
27:38
the
27:38
news
27:38
and
27:39
you.
27:40
And
27:40
we
27:40
get
27:40
three
27:41
to
27:41
four
27:41
questions
27:41
every
27:42
day
27:42
because
27:42
people
27:42
haven't
27:43
seen
27:43
spray
27:43
on
27:43
concrete.
27:44
And
27:45
we're
27:45
happy
27:45
to
27:45
answer.
27:46
Todd,
27:46
this
27:46
is
27:46
exciting
27:47
stuff
27:47
and
27:47
thanks
27:48
for
27:48
coming
27:48
on
27:48
today,
27:48
man.
27:49
I
27:49
really
27:49
appreciate
27:50
it.
27:50
This
27:51
is
27:51
going
27:51
to
27:51
be
27:51
easy
27:52
and
27:52
so
27:52
people
27:52
can
27:52
get
27:53
out
27:53
there
27:53
and
27:53
make
27:53
it
27:54
look
27:54
like
27:54
it's,
27:54
well,
27:55
like
27:55
new
27:55
again.
27:56
And
27:56
that's
27:56
a
27:56
great
27:56
thing.
27:57
Thanks
27:57
for
27:57
coming
27:57
on
27:57
today,
27:58
brother.
27:58
All
27:58
right.
27:58
Thank
27:59
you,
27:59
Eric.
27:59
Appreciate
27:59
it.
28:00
I
28:00
just
28:01
gotta
28:01
say
28:01
thanks,
28:01
Todd.
28:02
That
28:02
is
28:02
such
28:03
an
28:03
amazing
28:03
product.
28:04
And
28:04
anytime
28:05
that
28:05
we
28:05
can
28:05
be
28:05
sitting
28:06
here
28:07
and
28:08
basically
28:09
cleaning
28:09
up
28:09
and
28:09
making
28:10
something
28:10
look
28:11
like
28:11
brand
28:11
new
28:12
again
28:12
with
28:13
concrete
28:13
without
28:14
having
28:14
the
28:14
skills
28:15
of
28:15
being
28:16
a
28:16
concrete
28:16
mason
28:17
or
28:17
something
28:17
like
28:17
that
28:18
is
28:18
an
28:18
easy
28:18
DIY
28:19
project
28:20
and
28:20
you
28:20
can
28:20
really
28:20
give
28:21
yourself
28:21
some
28:21
curb
28:22
appeal.
28:22
So
28:23
it
28:23
doesn't
28:23
matter
28:24
if
28:24
you
28:24
just
28:24
had
28:24
a
28:25
foundation
28:25
repair
28:26
done
28:26
or
28:26
your
28:26
driveway
28:27
that's
28:27
concrete
28:28
is
28:28
falling
28:28
apart.
28:29
This
28:29
is
28:29
an
28:29
easy
28:30
way
28:30
to
28:30
add
28:31
beauty
28:31
to
28:31
that
28:32
trashed
28:32
up
28:33
concrete.
28:33
Go
28:34
through,
28:34
repair
28:34
it,
28:35
make
28:35
it
28:35
look
28:35
good
28:35
and
28:36
then
28:36
throw
28:37
the
28:37
like
28:37
new
28:37
over
28:37
the
28:37
top
28:38
of
28:38
it.
28:38
So
28:38
you
28:38
got
28:38
to
28:38
get
28:38
looking
28:39
good
28:39
and
28:39
you're
28:39
going
28:39
to
28:40
have
28:40
something
28:40
that's
28:40
going
28:40
to
28:40
look
28:41
just
28:41
as
28:41
beautiful
28:42
as
28:42
it
28:43
was
28:43
new.
28:43
And
28:44
there's
28:44
something
28:44
really
28:45
cool
28:45
about
28:45
that.
28:46
So
28:46
check
28:46
these
28:46
guys
28:47
out.
28:47
They're
28:48
in
28:48
Home
28:48
Depot.
28:49
You
28:49
can
28:49
order
28:49
them
28:49
on
28:49
Home
28:50
Depot
28:50
online.com
28:51
over@the.com
28:52
there,
28:52
have
28:52
it
28:52
shipped
28:53
right
28:53
to
28:53
your
28:53
store,
28:54
your
28:54
house,
28:54
whatever
28:54
you're
28:55
doing.
28:55
This
28:55
is
28:56
a
28:56
great
28:56
way
28:56
to
28:57
do
28:57
it.
28:57
I
28:57
love
28:58
new,
28:58
exciting
28:58
products.
28:59
This
28:59
is
28:59
something
28:59
that
29:00
could
29:00
completely
29:00
change
29:01
the
29:01
front
29:01
of
29:01
your
29:01
house
29:02
or
29:02
even
29:02
around
29:02
that
29:02
pool
29:03
deck.
29:03
And
29:03
it's
29:04
an
29:04
easy
29:04
project
29:05
that
29:05
anybody
29:05
could
29:05
tackle
29:06
and
29:06
who
29:07
doesn't
29:07
like
29:07
that?
29:08
Let
29:08
me
29:08
tell
29:08
you
29:09
about
29:09
a
29:09
story
29:09
I've
29:09
been
29:09
working
29:10
on
29:10
here
29:10
and
29:10
this
29:10
is
29:10
an
29:10
interesting
29:11
one.
29:11
We're
29:11
going
29:11
to
29:11
kind
29:11
of
29:11
wrap
29:12
the
29:12
show
29:12
up
29:12
with
29:12
this
29:13
because
29:14
I'm
29:14
getting
29:14
my
29:15
house
29:15
ready
29:15
for
29:15
sale.
29:16
And
29:16
if
29:16
I
29:17
didn't
29:17
have
29:17
an
29:17
asphalt
29:18
driveway,
29:18
I
29:18
can
29:19
tell
29:19
you
29:19
what
29:19
I
29:19
would
29:19
be
29:20
doing.
29:21
I'd
29:21
be
29:21
going
29:21
with
29:21
the
29:21
like
29:22
new
29:22
there.
29:22
But
29:23
windows
29:23
are
29:23
an
29:23
interesting
29:24
one.
29:24
My
29:24
house
29:24
is
29:24
built
29:25
in
29:25
1979.
29:26
It
29:27
is
29:27
one
29:27
of
29:27
those
29:27
contemporary
29:28
in
29:29
the
29:29
woods.
29:30
Has
29:30
that
29:30
contemporary
29:31
Northwest
29:32
feel
29:32
to
29:32
it,
29:32
if
29:33
you've
29:33
ever
29:33
seen
29:33
that,
29:33
if
29:33
you're
29:34
across
29:34
the
29:34
country
29:34
listening
29:35
to
29:35
the
29:35
show.
29:36
But
29:36
here's
29:36
the
29:36
thing.
29:37
I've
29:37
had
29:38
aluminum
29:38
windows
29:38
in
29:38
it
29:39
and
29:39
as
29:39
I've
29:40
been
29:40
doing
29:40
projects
29:41
around
29:41
there,
29:41
I've
29:41
been
29:42
throwing
29:42
in
29:42
new
29:42
windows.
29:43
I'm
29:43
getting
29:44
the
29:44
house
29:44
up
29:44
for
29:44
sale
29:45
and
29:45
I
29:45
thought
29:45
I'm
29:46
going
29:46
to
29:46
sit
29:46
here
29:46
and
29:47
it's
29:47
a
29:47
great
29:47
time
29:47
to
29:48
see
29:49
what
29:49
the
29:49
costs
29:49
are
29:50
to
29:51
replace
29:51
windows.
29:52
And
29:53
so
29:53
here's
29:53
what
29:53
I
29:53
did.
29:54
I
29:54
went
29:54
out
29:54
and
29:54
looked
29:55
around
29:55
and
29:55
I
29:56
reached
29:56
out
29:56
to
29:56
a
29:57
glass
29:57
shop.
29:57
And
29:58
if
29:59
you
29:59
heard
29:59
my
29:59
midweek
30:00
special
30:00
last
30:00
week,
30:01
I
30:01
was
30:01
complaining
30:01
about
30:02
people
30:02
not
30:02
calling
30:03
me
30:03
back.
30:03
These
30:03
were
30:03
the
30:04
only
30:04
people
30:04
that
30:04
really
30:04
did
30:05
a
30:05
great
30:05
job
30:05
of
30:05
calling
30:06
me
30:06
back,
30:06
which
30:07
I
30:07
really
30:07
enjoyed.
30:08
They've
30:08
been
30:08
great
30:09
people
30:09
to
30:09
work
30:09
with.
30:09
I'm
30:10
not
30:10
going
30:10
to
30:10
use
30:10
their
30:10
name
30:11
because
30:11
that's
30:12
not
30:12
what
30:12
this
30:12
is
30:12
about.
30:13
But
30:13
this
30:13
will
30:13
tell
30:14
you
30:14
if
30:14
you're
30:15
thinking
30:15
about
30:15
replacing
30:16
or
30:17
in
30:17
my
30:17
case,
30:18
I
30:18
had
30:19
aluminum
30:19
windows.
30:19
So
30:20
the
30:20
frame
30:21
was
30:21
in
30:21
good
30:21
shape.
30:21
Are
30:21
they
30:22
the
30:22
most
30:22
energy
30:22
efficient?
30:23
Not
30:23
a
30:24
chance.
30:24
With
30:25
our
30:25
climate
30:25
traditionally
30:26
here
30:26
in
30:26
the
30:27
Pacific
30:27
Northwest
30:28
where
30:28
we
30:28
live,
30:28
it's
30:29
not
30:29
one
30:29
of
30:29
those
30:29
things
30:29
where
30:30
we
30:30
get
30:30
those
30:30
extreme
30:31
temperatures.
30:31
It's
30:31
not
30:32
below
30:32
zero,
30:33
it's
30:33
not
30:34
usually
30:34
above
30:35
100.
30:35
Now
30:35
that's
30:36
been
30:36
changing
30:36
recently
30:38
with
30:38
some
30:38
record
30:39
breaking
30:39
temperatures,
30:41
but
30:41
it
30:41
wasn't
30:41
as
30:41
big
30:42
a
30:42
deal.
30:42
So
30:43
I
30:43
thought,
30:43
I
30:43
have
30:43
got
30:44
three
30:45
windows
30:46
that
30:46
have
30:46
blown
30:47
out
30:47
glass.
30:48
So
30:49
what
30:49
I
30:49
mean
30:49
by
30:49
that
30:49
is
30:50
it's
30:50
the
30:50
dual
30:50
pane
30:50
windows
30:51
and
30:51
you
30:51
get
30:51
the
30:51
fog,
30:52
the
30:53
moisture,
30:54
the
30:55
whatever
30:55
growing
30:56
on
30:56
the
30:56
inside
30:57
and
30:57
it
30:57
looks
30:57
spotty,
30:58
you
30:58
can't
30:58
clean
30:58
it
30:59
and
30:59
it's
30:59
trapped.
31:00
And
31:00
so
31:00
I
31:00
thought
31:01
the
31:01
way
31:01
my
31:01
house
31:02
was
31:02
built,
31:03
they
31:03
put
31:03
the
31:03
windows
31:04
on
31:04
and
31:04
then
31:04
the
31:05
T111
31:05
plywood
31:06
siding
31:06
over
31:06
the
31:06
top.
31:07
So
31:07
it's
31:07
not
31:07
just
31:07
pop
31:08
off
31:08
trim.
31:08
You
31:08
got
31:08
to
31:08
do
31:08
a
31:09
little
31:09
more
31:09
surgery
31:10
to
31:10
get
31:10
in
31:10
there.
31:11
And
31:11
then
31:11
waterproofing
31:12
is
31:12
always
31:12
a
31:12
little
31:13
bit
31:13
of
31:13
an
31:13
issue
31:13
too
31:13
because
31:14
you've
31:14
got
31:14
to
31:14
really
31:14
get
31:15
in
31:15
there
31:16
and
31:16
clean
31:16
that
31:16
up
31:17
correctly
31:17
and
31:18
make
31:18
it
31:18
so
31:18
you
31:19
don't
31:19
have
31:19
a
31:19
wet
31:19
wall
31:19
cavity
31:20
if
31:20
you
31:20
get
31:20
driving
31:21
rain.
31:21
So
31:21
this
31:22
is
31:22
one
31:22
of
31:22
those
31:22
things
31:22
you
31:22
have
31:23
to
31:23
do.
31:23
So
31:23
I
31:23
went
31:23
out
31:24
and
31:24
got
31:24
some
31:24
numbers.
31:25
I
31:25
said,
31:25
okay,
31:25
great,
31:26
let's
31:26
get
31:26
some
31:26
numbers.
31:27
I
31:27
had
31:27
a
31:28
guy
31:28
come
31:28
out,
31:28
gave
31:28
me
31:28
a
31:29
quote
31:29
for
31:29
the
31:29
new
31:29
glass.
31:30
And
31:30
so
31:31
one
31:32
five
31:32
foot
31:33
by
31:33
four
31:33
foot
31:33
window,
31:34
I
31:34
had
31:34
a
31:35
bad
31:35
pane
31:35
of
31:35
glass.
31:37
I
31:37
had
31:37
above
31:38
it
31:38
a
31:38
5
31:39
foot
31:39
by
31:39
3
31:39
foot
31:40
window
31:40
because
31:40
it's
31:40
a
31:41
vaulted
31:41
room,
31:42
that
31:42
one,
31:42
both
31:43
panes
31:43
were
31:44
blown
31:44
out.
31:44
And
31:45
then
31:45
just
31:45
right
31:45
outside
31:46
that
31:46
in
31:46
the
31:46
hallway
31:47
from
31:47
that
31:47
bedroom,
31:48
of
31:48
course,
31:49
is
31:49
another
31:50
window
31:51
up
31:51
there
31:51
that's
31:52
over
31:52
the
31:52
top
31:52
of
31:52
the
31:52
stairs,
31:53
which
31:54
I
31:54
tell
31:55
you
31:55
what,
31:55
you
31:55
would
31:55
have
31:55
to
31:56
just
31:57
go
31:57
crazy
31:57
to
31:58
open
31:58
that
31:58
up.
31:59
So
31:59
what
31:59
I
31:59
did
31:59
is
32:00
I
32:00
got
32:00
some
32:00
numbers
32:00
on
32:00
that.
32:01
Now
32:01
when
32:01
we
32:01
come
32:01
back,
32:01
I
32:02
want
32:02
to
32:02
talk
32:02
about
32:02
what
32:02
the
32:03
numbers
32:03
were
32:04
compared
32:04
to
32:05
replacements.
32:06
We'll
32:07
talk
32:07
about
32:07
that
32:08
as
32:08
soon
32:08
as
32:08
around
32:08
the
32:08
House
32:09
returns.
32:09
If
32:09
you
32:09
want
32:09
to
32:09
find
32:10
out
32:10
more
32:10
about
32:10
us,
32:10
head
32:11
to
32:11

32:13
let's
32:13
fix
32:14
this
32:14
window
32:14
dilemma
32:15
just
32:15
as
32:15
soon
32:15
as
32:15
we
32:15
return.
32:16
Don't
32:16
change
32:16
that
32:16
tile.
33:58
All
33:58
right.
34:07
The
34:08
band
34:08
is
34:08
drunk.
34:09
It's
34:09
the
34:09
end
34:09
of
34:09
the
34:09
show.
34:12
Welcome
34:12
back
34:12
to
34:12
the
34:13
around
34:13
the
34:13
house
34:13
show,
34:13
the
34:14
next
34:14

34:16
I'm
34:16
Eric
34:16
G.
34:16
Thanks
34:17
for
34:17
joining
34:17
me
34:17
today.
34:18
This
34:19
hour
34:19
is
34:19
brought
34:19
to
34:20

by
34:20
our
34:20
friends
34:20

34:21
If
34:21
you're
34:22
out
34:22
looking
34:22
for
34:22
that
34:22
brand
34:23
new
34:23
barbecue
34:23
going,
34:24
man,
34:24
this
34:24
is
34:24
not
34:25
going
34:25
to
34:25
make
34:25
it
34:25
through
34:25
the
34:26
summer.
34:26
Don't
34:27
worry.
34:27
You
34:27
don't
34:28
have
34:28
to
34:28
spend
34:28
a
34:29
ton
34:29
of
34:29
money
34:29
for
34:30
that
34:30
barbecue
34:30
grill
34:31
that
34:31
you
34:31
can
34:31
roll
34:31
around
34:32
in
34:32
the
34:32
backyard.
34:33
These
34:33
aren't
34:33
the
34:33
built
34:33
in
34:34
ones.
34:34
But
34:34
I
34:34
tell
34:34
you
34:35
what,
34:35
if
34:35
you're
34:35
looking
34:35
something
34:36
for
34:36
propane
34:37
or
34:37
natural
34:38
gas,
34:39
check
34:39
them
34:39
out@monumentgrills.com
34:41
you
34:41
don't
34:41
have
34:41
to
34:41
spend
34:42
the
34:42
thousands
34:42
of
34:42
dollars
34:43
to
34:43
get
34:43
all
34:43
the
34:43
features
34:44
you
34:44
want.
34:44
These
34:44
guys
34:45
have
34:45
got
34:45
you
34:45
covered
34:46
with
34:46
a
34:46
great
34:46
grill.
34:47
It
34:47
doesn't
34:48
matter
34:48
if
34:48
you
34:48
need
34:48
a
34:48
small
34:49
one
34:49
or
34:49
a
34:49
big
34:49
one.
34:50
They've
34:50
got
34:50
something
34:51
for
34:51
every
34:52
outdoor
34:52
barbecue
34:53
adventure.
34:54
Check
34:54
them
34:54
out@montymcrills.com
34:56
we've
34:56
been
34:56
talking
34:57
about
34:57
windows
34:58
and
34:58
I've
34:58
been
34:58
working
34:58
on
34:58
my
34:58
house,
34:59
if
34:59
you're
34:59
just
34:59
joining
34:59
us.
35:00
And
35:01
houses
35:01
built
35:01
in
35:02
79.
35:03
I've
35:04
got
35:04
aluminum
35:04
windows,
35:05
double
35:05
pane.
35:06
The
35:06
windows
35:07
were
35:07
put
35:07
in
35:07
before
35:08
the
35:08
siding,
35:08
before
35:08
the
35:09
T111.
35:09
So
35:09
they
35:10
were
35:10
actually.
35:11
They
35:11
basically
35:12
put
35:12
up
35:12
tar
35:13
paper,
35:14
the
35:14
windows,
35:15
siding,
35:16
and
35:17
that's
35:17
how
35:17
they
35:17
did
35:18
it.
35:18
Which
35:18
makes
35:18
it
35:18
a
35:18
little
35:18
more
35:19
interesting
35:19
for
35:19
a
35:19
window
35:20
replacement.
35:20
So
35:20
I
35:20
went
35:20
out
35:21
and
35:21
got
35:21
some
35:21
quotes
35:22
and
35:23
met
35:23
a
35:23
nice
35:23
company.
35:24
These
35:24
guys
35:24
were
35:24
great
35:25
local
35:25
company.
35:25
They
35:26
could
35:26
replace
35:26
them.
35:27
They
35:27
could
35:27
do
35:27
all
35:27
that.
35:27
And
35:28
so
35:28
we
35:29
took
35:29
a
35:29
look
35:30
at
35:30
what
35:30
would
35:30
it
35:30
cost
35:31
to
35:31
replace
35:31
these
35:32
1,
35:33
2,
35:33
3,
35:33
4,
35:34
5
35:34
panels
35:34
of
35:35
glass.
35:35
Now,
35:36
the
35:36
window
35:36
quote
35:37
for
35:37
that,
35:37
just
35:37
for
35:38
the
35:38
panels
35:39
came
35:39
back
35:40
at
35:40
about
35:40
$2,700.
35:42
Now,
35:42
they
35:42
came
35:42
out
35:42
and
35:42
measured
35:43
them
35:43
up.
35:43
Take
35:43
about
35:44
three
35:44
weeks
35:44
to
35:44
get
35:45
there.
35:45
But
35:46
here's
35:46
the
35:46
thing.
35:46
When
35:47
you
35:47
get
35:47
into
35:47
aluminum
35:48
windows,
35:48
here's
35:49
some
35:49
of
35:49
the
35:49
problems
35:50
you
35:50
have
35:50
with
35:50
this
35:51
one.
35:52
These
35:52
panels
35:53
just
35:53
don't
35:54
come
35:54
out.
35:54
So
35:54
you
35:54
have
35:55
to
35:55
unscrew
35:55
the
35:55
window.
35:56
Now,
35:57
in
35:57
fairness,
35:57
this
35:58
is
35:58
on
35:58
the
35:58
second
35:59
floor.
35:59
And
36:00
so
36:00
I've
36:00
got
36:00
one
36:01
what
36:01
would
36:01
be
36:01
an
36:01
egress
36:01
window
36:02
out
36:02
of
36:02
a
36:02
bedroom.
36:03
Then
36:03
there's
36:03
one
36:04
above
36:04
that
36:04
as
36:05
well,
36:05
a
36:05
couple
36:05
feet.
36:06
So
36:06
we've
36:07
got
36:07
a
36:07
vaulted
36:08
ceiling
36:08
in
36:08
there.
36:09
So
36:09
the
36:09
top
36:09
of
36:09
that
36:09
window
36:10
is
36:10
up
36:10
there,
36:10
probably
36:11
1112ft
36:12
high
36:12
for
36:12
the
36:13
one
36:13
above
36:13
it.
36:13
So
36:13
I've
36:13
got
36:14
a
36:14
five
36:14
foot
36:14
by
36:15
four
36:15
foot
36:15
and
36:15
a
36:15
five
36:16
foot
36:16
by
36:16
three
36:16
foot
36:17
above
36:17
it.
36:17
It's
36:18
a
36:18
really
36:18
cool
36:18
look,
36:19
but
36:19
you
36:20
can
36:20
see
36:20
what's
36:20
going
36:20
on
36:21
here.
36:21
And
36:22
then
36:22
over
36:22
the
36:22
hallway,
36:24
where
36:24
it
36:24
goes
36:24
down
36:24
to
36:24
the
36:25
staircase,
36:25
there's
36:25
one
36:26
way
36:26
up
36:26
high
36:26
up
36:26
there
36:27
as
36:27
well.
36:28
So
36:28
I
36:29
looked
36:29
at
36:29
that.
36:29
Now,
36:30
you
36:30
have
36:30
to
36:30
take
36:30
the
36:31
window
36:31
panes
36:31
out,
36:32
basically,
36:32
to
36:33
replace
36:33
the
36:33
glass.
36:33
Of
36:33
course,
36:34
they're
36:34
insulated
36:35
units,
36:36
so
36:36
you
36:37
can't
36:37
just
36:37
pop
36:37
off
36:38
the
36:38
trim
36:38
and
36:38
pop
36:38
these
36:39
in
36:39
and
36:39
out.
36:39
You
36:40
actually
36:40
have
36:40
to
36:40
disassemble
36:41
the
36:42
aluminum
36:42
frame
36:42
and
36:42
take
36:43
screws
36:43
out,
36:43
which
36:44
could
36:45
be
36:45
a
36:45
big
36:46
pain,
36:46
because
36:47
I
36:47
tell
36:47
you
36:48
what,
36:48
screws
36:49
sitting
36:49
outside
36:50
that
36:50
are
36:50
metal
36:51
in
36:51
aluminum
36:53
in
36:53
what
36:53
would
36:54
be
36:54
1979.
36:55
And
36:55
I've
36:55
seen
36:56
all
36:56
that
36:56
weather,
36:57
all
36:57
that
36:57
corrosion
36:58
might
36:59
not
36:59
come
36:59
across
37:00
as
37:00
easy
37:00
to
37:01
come
37:01
out.
37:01
And
37:01
the
37:01
chance
37:01
having
37:02
to
37:02
drill
37:02
those
37:02
out
37:02
might
37:03
be
37:03
pretty
37:03
solid.
37:04
I
37:04
totally
37:04
get
37:05
that.
37:05
So
37:06
the
37:06
price
37:06
that
37:06
I
37:07
got
37:07
here
37:07
in
37:07
my
37:07
market
37:08
was
37:08
$2700.
37:11
Now,
37:11
there
37:11
was
37:12
about
37:12
$700
37:13
in
37:13
glass
37:13
there
37:14
and
37:14
about
37:15
$2000
37:16
in
37:16
labor.
37:17
So
37:17
I
37:17
had
37:18
a
37:18
great
37:18
conversation
37:18
with
37:19
these
37:19
guys,
37:19
and
37:19
I
37:19
went,
37:20
wow,
37:20
that
37:20
is
37:20
a
37:20
lot
37:21
of
37:21
money.
37:22
Now,
37:22
my
37:22
buddy
37:23
at
37:23
RAF
37:23
Construction,
37:24
Ryan,
37:24
had
37:25
already
37:25
warned
37:25
me
37:25
and
37:26
said,
37:26
hey,
37:26
man,
37:26
we
37:26
don't
37:27
usually
37:27
do
37:27
the
37:27
replacement
37:28
glass
37:29
because
37:29
it
37:30
just
37:30
isn't
37:30
cost
37:31
effective.
37:31
With
37:31
aluminum
37:32
windows,
37:32
the
37:32
labor
37:33
is
37:33
so
37:33
high
37:34
that
37:34
it
37:34
might
37:34
cost
37:35
you
37:35
more.
37:36
Now,
37:37
here's
37:37
the
37:37
crazy
37:38
part.
37:39
I
37:39
went,
37:39
took
37:40
my
37:40
window
37:40
sizes.
37:41
I
37:41
knew
37:41
what
37:41
they
37:41
were,
37:42
and
37:42
reached
37:43
out
37:43
to
37:43
my.
37:43
One
37:43
of
37:44
my
37:44
local
37:44
window
37:44
shops
37:45
here
37:45
that
37:45
I
37:45
can
37:45
buy
37:46
windows
37:46
through
37:47
didn't
37:48
go
37:48
get
37:48
the
37:49
any
37:49
specials
37:50
here.
37:50
Just
37:51
they
37:51
run
37:51
a
37:51
lot
37:51
of
37:51
windows
37:52
through.
37:53
So
37:54
I
37:54
got
37:54
some
37:54
numbers
37:55
on
37:55
that,
37:56
took
37:56
a
37:56
look
37:57
at
37:57
it
37:57
and
37:58
said,
37:59
oh
37:59
my
37:59
gosh,
37:59
here's
38:00
a
38:00
huge
38:00
difference.
38:02
Now
38:02
my
38:02
house
38:02
is
38:03
painted
38:03
black.
38:03
I
38:03
think
38:03
we've
38:04
talked
38:04
about
38:04
that
38:04
before,
38:05
if
38:05
you're
38:05
a
38:05
listener
38:06
to
38:06
the
38:06
show.
38:07
So
38:07
I
38:07
wanted
38:07
a
38:08
black
38:08
window
38:08
cap
38:09
stock,
38:09
which
38:09
is
38:09
way
38:10
more
38:10
money.
38:11
Now
38:11
in
38:11
fairness,
38:12
this
38:12
is
38:13
something
38:13
that's
38:13
cool
38:13
too.
38:14
Usually
38:14
when
38:15
you
38:15
walked
38:15
into
38:15
your
38:15
big
38:15
box
38:16
stores
38:16
and
38:16
grabbed
38:16
those
38:17
entry
38:17
level
38:17
windows,
38:18
I'm
38:18
not
38:18
trying
38:18
to
38:18
put
38:18
in
38:19
some
38:19
crazy
38:20
nice
38:20
window
38:21
in
38:21
here.
38:21
I
38:21
just
38:21
want
38:22
something
38:22
that's
38:22
going
38:22
to
38:22
look
38:22
good,
38:23
that's
38:23
going
38:23
to
38:23
give
38:23
somebody
38:24
some
38:24
value.
38:25
I'm
38:25
not
38:25
trying
38:26
to
38:26
take
38:26
advantage
38:27
of
38:27
the
38:27
new
38:27
people
38:27
here
38:28
that
38:28
would
38:28
be
38:28
buying
38:28
my
38:28
home.
38:29
But
38:29
I
38:29
wanted
38:29
to
38:29
put
38:29
in
38:30
something
38:30
that's
38:30
going
38:30
to
38:30
be
38:30
decent.
38:31
So
38:32
I
38:32
looked
38:32
at
38:32
a
38:32
brand.
38:32
We're
38:33
not
38:33
getting
38:33
into
38:33
brands
38:33
here.
38:34
But
38:35
for
38:35
instance,
38:35
my
38:36
low
38:36
store
38:37
in
38:37
town,
38:37
they
38:38
actually
38:38
have
38:38
black
38:39
cap
38:39
stock
38:39
windows
38:40
in
38:40
stock
38:40
now
38:41
on
38:41
the
38:41
shelf,
38:41
which
38:41
is
38:42
totally
38:42
cool.
38:43
So
38:43
I
38:43
could
38:44
go
38:44
in
38:44
there
38:44
and
38:44
get
38:44
them.
38:46
But
38:46
here's
38:46
what
38:46
I
38:46
noticed.
38:47
I
38:47
could
38:48
save
38:48
a
38:48
little
38:48
bit
38:48
of
38:49
money
38:49
by
38:49
ordering
38:50
the
38:50
right
38:50
window.
38:51
Because
38:51
now
38:52
my
38:52
house
38:53
has
38:53
H
38:53
vac,
38:54
it's
38:54
got
38:54
air
38:55
conditioning.
38:55
When
38:55
that
38:56
house
38:56
was
38:56
built
38:56
in
38:56
1979,
38:57
they
38:58
didn't
38:58
have
38:58
it
38:58
in
38:58
there.
38:59
So
38:59
those
39:00
high
39:00
vaulted
39:00
ceilings
39:01
needed
39:01
to
39:02
open
39:02
those
39:02
windows
39:03
to
39:03
get
39:03
airflow
39:03
through
39:04
there.
39:05
Now
39:05
not
39:05
an
39:05
issue.
39:06
So
39:06
instead
39:07
of
39:07
ordering
39:08
a
39:09
slider
39:09
window
39:10
in
39:10
vinyl
39:10
with
39:11
that,
39:11
I
39:11
can
39:12
order
39:12
those
39:12
as
39:12
fixed
39:13
picture
39:13
windows
39:14
and
39:14
get
39:14
an
39:14
even
39:15
better
39:15
view.
39:16
And
39:16
it's
39:16
going
39:17
to
39:17
save
39:17
me
39:17
some
39:17
money.
39:18
So
39:18
if
39:19
I
39:19
order
39:19
that
39:19
5040
39:20
slider
39:21
and
39:21
then
39:21
two
39:22
fixed
39:23
5
39:23
foot
39:23
by
39:24
3
39:24
foot
39:24
picture
39:25
windows,
39:26
that
39:26
can
39:26
save
39:26
me
39:27
some
39:27
serious
39:27
money.
39:29
So
39:29
my
39:29
price
39:29
on
39:30
that
39:30
was
39:30
about
39:31
950
39:32
bucks.
39:34
Huge
39:34
difference.
39:35
Now
39:35
I'm
39:36
gonna
39:36
have,
39:37
by
39:37
the
39:37
time
39:37
I
39:38
set
39:38
up
39:38
scaffolding,
39:39
swap
39:39
out
39:40
those
39:40
windows,
39:40
I'm
39:41
probably
39:41
gonna
39:41
have
39:41
a
39:42
day
39:42
in
39:42
there
39:42
doing
39:43
it,
39:43
messing
39:43
around,
39:43
making
39:44
sure
39:44
I
39:44
get
39:44
it
39:44
right.
39:44
Because
39:45
I'm
39:45
gonna
39:45
have
39:45
to
39:45
cut
39:45
the
39:45
siding
39:46
back.
39:47
I'm
39:47
gonna
39:47
have
39:47
to
39:47
flash
39:48
it
39:48
correctly,
39:48
get
39:49
trim
39:49
up
39:49
there,
39:49
get
39:50
that
39:50
all
39:50
done.
39:51
So
39:51
I'll
39:52
probably
39:52
have
39:53
11
39:53
or
39:53
1200
39:54
bucks
39:54
into
39:54
it
39:54
by
39:55
the
39:55
time
39:55
I
39:55
get
39:55
all
39:55
the
39:55
cedar
39:56
and
39:56
stuff
39:56
to,
39:57
to
39:57
trim
39:57
that
39:57
out
39:57
and
39:58
make
39:58
it
39:58
look
39:58
good.
39:59
You
39:59
see
39:59
where
40:00
I'm
40:00
going
40:00
with
40:00
this?
40:01
There
40:01
is
40:02
a
40:02
huge
40:02
difference
40:03
in
40:03
price.
40:04
Now
40:05
I
40:05
would
40:06
guess
40:06
that
40:06
I
40:06
would
40:07
probably
40:07
have
40:08
another
40:09
fifteen
40:09
hundred
40:10
dollars
40:10
in
40:10
labor.
40:11
But
40:12
here's
40:12
the
40:12
thing.
40:13
I
40:13
have
40:14
brand
40:14
new
40:14
windows
40:15
they're
40:16
cheaper
40:17
and
40:17
they
40:18
were
40:18
going
40:18
to
40:18
be
40:18
up
40:18
there
40:18
for
40:19
at
40:19
least
40:19
a
40:19
day,
40:20
if
40:20
not
40:20
more,
40:21
swapping
40:22
out
40:22
that
40:22
glass,
40:22
taking
40:23
those
40:23
windows
40:23
apart,
40:24
messing
40:24
around
40:24
with
40:25
them.
40:26
So
40:26
really,
40:27
unless
40:27
you
40:27
have
40:28
one
40:28
broken
40:29
pane
40:29
of
40:29
glass
40:29
in
40:30
there,
40:30
and
40:31
generally
40:31
speaking,
40:32
at
40:32
least
40:32
in
40:32
my
40:32
market
40:33
up
40:33
here
40:33
in
40:33
the
40:33
Pacific
40:34
Northwest,
40:35
I
40:35
tell
40:35
you
40:36
what,
40:36
it's
40:37
not
40:37
saving
40:37
you
40:37
any
40:37
money
40:38
to
40:38
replace
40:38
the
40:38
glass
40:39
in
40:39
those.
40:40
It's
40:40
really
40:40
going
40:41
to
40:41
be
40:41
cheaper
40:42
to
40:42
replace
40:43
the
40:43
entire
40:43
window.
40:44
Now
40:44
here's
40:44
the
40:45
other
40:45
thing,
40:45
and
40:45
this
40:45
is
40:46
a
40:46
big
40:46
warning
40:46
that
40:46
I
40:46
want
40:46
to
40:47
give
40:47
you
40:47
because
40:47
it's
40:48
a
40:48
big.
40:48
Deal
40:48
and
40:48
it
40:48
adds
40:49
up.
40:49
Be
40:50
careful
40:50
with
40:50
the
40:51
brands
40:51
that
40:51
you
40:51
buy
40:51
windows
40:52
for.
40:52
There
40:52
are
40:52
a
40:53
lot
40:53
of
40:53
smaller
40:53
regional
40:54
companies.
40:55
Now.
40:55
When
40:55
we
40:56
had
40:56
the
40:56
housing
40:56
crash
40:56
in
40:57
0809
40:58
back
40:58
around
40:58
here,
40:59
a
40:59
lot
40:59
of
41:00
those
41:00
window
41:00
companies
41:00
that
41:01
were
41:01
selling
41:01
to
41:01
builders
41:01
that
41:02
were
41:02
smaller
41:02
ones
41:03
closed
41:03
up
41:03
and
41:04
went
41:04
out
41:04
of
41:04
business.
41:05
Now
41:05
if
41:05
they
41:06
have
41:06
a
41:06
lifetime
41:07
warranty
41:07
on
41:07
that
41:07
window
41:08
and
41:08
they're
41:08
closed
41:09
up,
41:10
that
41:10
lifetime
41:11
warranty
41:11
is
41:11
done.
41:12
Am
41:13
I
41:13
the
41:13
biggest
41:13
fan
41:14
of
41:14
vinyl
41:14
windows?
41:15
No.
41:15
Do
41:16
they,
41:16
Are
41:16
they
41:16
the
41:17
new
41:17
aluminum
41:17
windows
41:18
as
41:18
far
41:18
as
41:18
durability?
41:19
Yeah,
41:19
I
41:20
think
41:20
aluminum
41:20
is
41:20
very
41:21
durable.
41:21
It's
41:21
just
41:21
horrible
41:22
at
41:22
transferring
41:23
heat.
41:23
But
41:24
there
41:24
are
41:24
some
41:24
great
41:25
vinyl
41:25
companies
41:25
out
41:26
there
41:26
and
41:26
there's
41:27
composites.
41:27
There's
41:28
a
41:28
lot
41:28
of
41:28
new
41:28
things
41:29
out
41:29
there.
41:29
My
41:29
favorite
41:30
brand
41:30
that
41:30
I've
41:30
usually
41:30
worked
41:31
with
41:31
is
41:32
Milgard.
41:32
Just
41:33
because
41:33
they've
41:33
been
41:34
a
41:34
Pacific
41:35
Northwest
41:35
company
41:35
for
41:36
a
41:36
while,
41:36
they're
41:36
a
41:36
local
41:37
company
41:37
up
41:37
here.
41:38
They've
41:38
traded
41:39
hands
41:39
as
41:39
they
41:40
went
41:40
around,
41:40
but
41:40
they
41:40
were
41:41
always
41:41
a
41:41
good
41:41
company
41:42
for
41:42
me.
41:42
I'm
41:43
not
41:43
going
41:43
with
41:43
them
41:44
this
41:44
time,
41:44
only
41:44
because
41:45
I'm
41:45
saving
41:45
a
41:45
little
41:45
bit
41:45
of
41:46
money
41:46
going
41:46
to
41:47
a
41:47
lesser
41:48
priced
41:48
brand.
41:49
But
41:49
there's
41:49
absolutely
41:50
nothing
41:51
wrong
41:51
with
41:51
getting
41:52
some
41:52
shopping,
41:53
finding
41:53
out.
41:54
And
41:54
here's
41:54
the
41:54
thing,
41:54
I'm
41:55
going
41:55
to
41:55
be
41:55
doing
41:55
this
41:55
so
41:56
I
41:56
know
41:56
the
41:56
flashing
41:56
is
41:57
going
41:57
to
41:57
be
41:57
right.
41:58
All
41:58
those
41:58
details
41:59
are
41:59
going
41:59
to
41:59
be
42:00
right.
42:00
And
42:01
I'm
42:01
not
42:01
having
42:01
to
42:01
wait
42:02
any
42:02
longer
42:03
for
42:03
getting
42:04
the
42:04
because
42:04
the
42:04
glass
42:05
is
42:05
going
42:05
to
42:05
take
42:05
long
42:05
enough
42:06
anyway.
42:06
So
42:07
it's
42:07
going
42:07
to
42:07
be
42:07
the
42:07
same
42:08
lead
42:08
time.
42:09
It
42:09
just
42:09
means
42:10
I
42:10
got
42:10
to
42:10
do
42:10
the
42:11
project
42:11
versus
42:12
having
42:12
somebody
42:12
else
42:13
do
42:13
it.
42:13
But
42:14
my
42:14
secret
42:14
for
42:15
working
42:15
on
42:15
windows
42:15
like
42:15
this
42:16
on
42:16
the
42:16
second
42:16
floor
42:17
is
42:17
always
42:18
jumping
42:18
up
42:18
there
42:19
with
42:19
the
42:19
scaffolding,
42:20
setting
42:20
the
42:21
scaffolding
42:21
up
42:21
and
42:21
just
42:22
knocking
42:22
it
42:22
out
42:23
and
42:23
making
42:23
it
42:24
happen.
42:25
So
42:25
I'm
42:25
just
42:26
going
42:26
to
42:26
have
42:26
to
42:26
get
42:26
a
42:26
fist
42:26
full
42:27
of
42:27
blades
42:28
for
42:28
my
42:28
saw,
42:29
get
42:29
up
42:29
there,
42:30
trim
42:30
that
42:30
siding
42:31
back
42:31
a
42:31
little
42:31
bit,
42:32
have
42:32
a
42:32
good
42:32
time,
42:33
knock
42:33
it
42:33
out,
42:34
and
42:34
I'll
42:34
be
42:34
good
42:34
to
42:34
go.
42:35
And
42:35
then
42:35
I
42:35
can
42:36
do
42:36
this
42:36
right
42:37
and
42:37
really
42:37
get
42:37
that
42:38
thing
42:38
up
42:38
in
42:38
there
42:38
and
42:39
make
42:39
it
42:39
look
42:39
good
42:39
and
42:40
put
42:40
some
42:40
brand
42:40
new
42:40
windows
42:41
in.
42:41
And
42:41
when
42:41
it's
42:41
all
42:42
said
42:42
and
42:42
done,
42:42
it's
42:43
going
42:43
to
42:43
look
42:43
better.
42:44
And
42:44
being
42:44
where
42:44
this
42:45
is
42:45
on
42:45
the
42:45
front
42:45
corner
42:46
of
42:46
the
42:46
house,
42:46
it's
42:46
going
42:46
to
42:47
give
42:47
me
42:47
that
42:47
curb
42:47
appeal
42:48
which
42:48
is
42:48
going
42:48
to
42:48
pay
42:49
back
42:49
in
42:49
the
42:49
long
42:50
run.
42:50
So
42:51
not
42:51
only
42:51
am
42:51
I
42:51
going
42:51
to
42:51
have
42:52
great
42:52
windows
42:52
here
42:52
in
42:53
two
42:53
visible
42:53
places
42:53
of
42:54
the
42:54
house,
42:54
it's
42:55
going
42:55
to
42:55
fix
42:55
the
42:55
rest
42:55
of
42:56
those.
42:56
And
42:56
it's
42:56
one
42:57
more
42:57
thing
42:57
that's
42:57
not
42:58
going
42:58
to
42:58
come
42:58
up
42:58
on
42:58
that
42:58
inspection
42:59
report.
43:00
That'll
43:00
happen
43:00
as
43:00
soon
43:01
as
43:01
somebody
43:01
comes
43:01
in
43:02
and
43:02
wants
43:02
to
43:03
buy
43:03
it.
43:03
Now,
43:03
hey,
43:04
if
43:04
you
43:04
were
43:04
listening
43:04
a
43:04
little
43:04
bit
43:05
earlier,
43:05
we
43:05
had
43:05
like
43:06
new
43:06
concrete
43:06
on
43:06
here.
43:07
Check
43:07
those
43:07
guys
43:08
out
43:08
like
43:09
you
43:10
concrete
43:10
dot
43:11
com.
43:11
That's
43:12
a
43:12
great
43:12
way
43:12
to
43:12
give
43:12
you
43:12
that
43:13
curb
43:13
appeal.
43:13
And
43:14
if
43:14
you've
43:14
been
43:14
just
43:14
listening
43:15
to
43:15
the
43:15
first
43:15
hour
43:16
of
43:16
the
43:16
show
43:16
that
43:16
aired
43:16
earlier,
43:17
you
43:17
gotta
43:18
check
43:18
those
43:18
guys
43:18
out.
43:19
Old
43:19
Castle.
43:19
We
43:20
didn't
43:20
actually
43:20
only
43:21
about
43:21
3/4
43:22
of
43:22
that
43:22
interview
43:23
made
43:24
it
43:24
into
43:24
the
43:24
show.
43:25
So
43:25
if
43:25
you
43:25
want
43:25
to
43:25
hear
43:25
the
43:26
whole
43:26
entire
43:26
thing
43:27
commercial
43:27
free,
43:28
head
43:28
over
43:28
to
43:28
our
43:28
website
43:29

43:31
and
43:32
you
43:32
can
43:32
actually
43:32
join
43:33
our
43:33
around
43:33
the
43:33
House
43:33
insider.
43:34
We
43:34
got
43:34
a
43:34
10
43:35
day
43:35
free
43:35
trial.
43:35
If
43:36
you
43:36
sign
43:36
up,
43:36
I'm
43:36
going
43:36
to
43:36
give
43:36
you
43:37
some
43:37
stickers.
43:37
I'll
43:38
send
43:38
them
43:38
to
43:38
you.
43:39
And
43:39
here's
43:39
the
43:39
cool
43:40
thing
43:40
with
43:40
this.
43:41
You
43:41
get
43:41
that
43:41
whole
43:42
show
43:43
commercial
43:43
free
43:44
and
43:44
you
43:44
get
43:45
a
43:45
two
43:45
days
43:45
early.
43:45
So
43:46
you
43:46
get
43:46
to
43:46
hear
43:46
it
43:46
on
43:46
Thursday
43:47
instead
43:47
on
43:47
the
43:47
weekend,
43:48
which
43:48
isn't
43:49
too
43:49
bad.
43:49
And
43:50
you
43:50
get
43:50
the
43:50
whole
43:51
thousand
43:51
plus
43:52
episodes
43:53
versus
43:53
the
43:53
two
43:53
or
43:54
three
43:54
hundred,
43:54
whatever
43:54
your
43:55
podcast
43:55
player
43:55
puts
43:56
out
43:56
there.
43:56
So
43:56
you
43:56
can
43:57
go
43:57
back
43:57
in
43:57
the
43:57
wayback
43:58
machine
43:58
and
43:58
check
43:59
it
43:59
out.
44:00
All
44:00
right
44:00
guys,
44:00
if
44:00
you
44:01
have
44:01

44:01
for
44:01
me,
44:01
head

outdoor
44:09
designing
44:09
those
44:09
outdoor
44:10

fixing
44:11
up
44:11
that
44:11
concrete
44:12
and

44:12
little
44:12
bit
