- 0:30Speaker 3: I think once you go to La that like facade
- 0:32Speaker 3: of like Hollywood kind of fades. We went there and
- 0:35Speaker 3: we're like, we're gonna be big fucking stars. We're gonna
- 0:38Speaker 3: be the Middle Eastern Mary Kane Ashley. And then you
- 0:41Speaker 3: get there and then you meet Crash.
- 0:42Speaker 1: The cats in footing podcasts, a melting pot of footing.
- 0:49Speaker 1: And now here's Jen.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Good afternoon, everybody, And today I have another set of twins.
- 0:55Speaker 4: I'm so excited. But you guys, you guys are my favorite.
- 0:58Speaker 1: We know we know.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Well, I did know you first, so I have to
- 1:03Speaker 4: say that I'm welcoming you both to my show. I'm
- 1:06Speaker 4: so exed excited to have you here today. Thanks for
- 1:09Speaker 4: having us, and you're back in New York.
- 1:12Speaker 1: We're officially living here. You escaped La, we excused LA,
- 1:16Speaker 1: we got out.
- 1:17Speaker 4: I'm so happy that. Yeah. So tell me tell me
- 1:19Speaker 4: about your whole escapade, what happened in LA, why you
- 1:22Speaker 4: went there in the first place, and what made you
- 1:24Speaker 4: come back to New York.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Well, after the success of our first.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Book, tell everybody about that Pray the Gay.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Right into the camera, Tell them that Pray the Gay
- 1:34Speaker 3: away on Amazon.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So yeah, our book became a bestseller and it got
- 1:39Speaker 1: turned into a stitch play, and then we thought, let's
- 1:43Speaker 1: turn it into a TV show. That's why we went
- 1:44Speaker 1: to LA. And we had a lot of connections in LA,
- 1:47Speaker 1: and with the writer strike and COVID pushing projects back,
- 1:51Speaker 1: it just didn't seem like the right time for us
- 1:53Speaker 1: to be there. We're getting a lot of meetings, but
- 1:56Speaker 1: it was just meetings and handshakes.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I think once you go to LA, that like facade
- 2:00Speaker 3: of like Hollywood kind of fades. We like, we went
- 2:03Speaker 3: there and we're like, we're gonna be big fucking stars.
- 2:05Speaker 3: We're gonna be the Middle Eastern Mary Kane Ashley, and
- 2:08Speaker 3: then you get there and then you meet crackheads, and
- 2:11Speaker 3: then you meet.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Like a lot of cracker not all cracked, a lot.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Of people that want to be famous.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you see.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I like to place LA under this standpoint of like
- 2:19Speaker 3: everyone wants wants a piece of the pie, but no
- 2:21Speaker 3: one wants to help bake the pie. So everyone was
- 2:24Speaker 3: just like everyone just kept talking us like we're beautiful,
- 2:27Speaker 3: we're talented, like no one, but no one wants to help.
- 2:30Speaker 3: So we felt that LA was It's it's not the
- 2:34Speaker 3: right time for us. LA is a great place if
- 2:36Speaker 3: you know the right people, if you have the right connections.
- 2:38Speaker 1: But right, baby, yeah fuck NEPO babies. But I mean
- 2:43Speaker 1: we're we figured it. I think coming into New York,
- 2:46Speaker 1: it just feels so much more fresh real. It feels
- 2:50Speaker 1: like people want to actually make connections and be your friend.
- 2:53Speaker 1: We're not talking about LA, but but here we are
- 2:57Speaker 1: talking about La talking about it. It just seemed like
- 3:00Speaker 1: everyone wanted to just be like was just talking about
- 3:04Speaker 1: the resumes. It's just a resume builder, right.
- 3:06Speaker 4: I think that's like you felt like things were moving
- 3:09Speaker 4: in any direction. Things do take a long time. It's
- 3:12Speaker 4: not going to happen.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I will say we we had like at least two
- 3:16Speaker 1: or three like potential green lights on a show we
- 3:19Speaker 1: were piloting. But it's it's such a harsh blow. I
- 3:24Speaker 1: guess to your ego a little bit. When you get
- 3:25Speaker 1: that no that it's like is it worth it? And
- 3:28Speaker 1: I feel like here there's just so many more creative
- 3:31Speaker 1: avenues we could explore.
- 3:32Speaker 3: We decided to move during the writer strike, which obviously ended,
- 3:37Speaker 3: you know, which obviously ended, but we did. We felt
- 3:39Speaker 3: the end of the day, once we took a trip
- 3:41Speaker 3: to New York that we felt the people, the environment
- 3:44Speaker 3: just made more sense for us, and that's why we're here.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Do you feel like you have more opportunity now here?
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yeah, and we've only been here for about a month.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I've cried four times, but.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Yet it was just kind of for me.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I guess I'm the crier. I'm more emotion Well, you
- 4:01Speaker 3: should know that we are pisces, triple triple pisces. I
- 4:04Speaker 3: don't know if you know astrology in any format, but
- 4:07Speaker 3: we're like, we are like very emotional beings, a victim.
- 4:11Speaker 1: The victim seems to be more more. You know, New
- 4:14Speaker 1: York is.
- 4:14Speaker 3: A lot New York is a lot of energy. I
- 4:17Speaker 3: I feel in my heart that New York is going
- 4:19Speaker 3: to be home. It's just it's taking some time to adjust.
- 4:22Speaker 3: She's still unemployed, she's still crying, she's still freaking out.
- 4:26Speaker 3: So she's trying to figure it all out. She's a
- 4:28Speaker 3: woman of the world, she is everyone.
- 4:32Speaker 4: So you're more of a cryer. Do you feel what
- 4:34Speaker 4: is your what is your downfall? Are you more of
- 4:36Speaker 4: a feelings?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Do you feel like probably my anger problems, like I
- 4:41Speaker 1: just get so you're angrier. Yeah, I tend to be
- 4:45Speaker 1: angry at the world for no reason. I think I
- 4:47Speaker 1: put fake scenarios in my head. What got me out
- 4:50Speaker 1: of that was a lot more set, jagged little pill
- 4:53Speaker 1: period for the last three months, and that's what made
- 4:57Speaker 1: me cry. And so you know she's depressed.
- 4:58Speaker 4: We know you're depressed.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Listening a lot. Yes, it's I feel better now.
- 5:05Speaker 4: She's depressed because that was her last big album.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Let's not shot on that single she came out the
- 5:12Speaker 3: reasons I drink, I know.
- 5:14Speaker 1: But what other song in the past one years do
- 5:16Speaker 1: you know? By her? Next question?
- 5:19Speaker 4: And hence that's a very very common tale in Hollywood.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Yeah, right, we didn't want to be that. We didn't
- 5:26Speaker 1: want to be like one hit wonders, Like you know,
- 5:27Speaker 1: we get one project cells and that's it. And I
- 5:30Speaker 1: feel like coming here, there's just so much more potential.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Well, I think as creatives, people like see writers, see actors,
- 5:35Speaker 3: see all that, but they don't see the hustling side
- 5:37Speaker 3: of it. Like when you see an actor, you don't
- 5:39Speaker 3: know all the shitty jobs they took to get there.
- 5:41Speaker 3: You don't know the like the tough road. Like now
- 5:44Speaker 3: that we're in an era of social media where you
- 5:46Speaker 3: can kind of expose your real life, because Mike w
- 5:48Speaker 3: and I talk about this thing where like how much
- 5:50Speaker 3: of our lives do you want to show the public,
- 5:52Speaker 3: And I'm like, I don't want to show any of
- 5:53Speaker 3: like the hustling era. I don't want them to know.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Like we're like when we were in La we were
- 5:57Speaker 3: living in a one bedroom. Did your book we know
- 6:00Speaker 3: we had? No, we had we had two twin sized
- 6:03Speaker 3: beds in a one bedroom. We were holding hands at
- 6:05Speaker 3: night just it was that small, and Michael's like, we
- 6:08Speaker 3: should make a TikTok about it.
- 6:09Speaker 1: That's like, no, I don't want people to know. No,
- 6:11Speaker 1: you should see my room now oh, Michael's living in
- 6:14Speaker 1: smaller No, Michael's living in Dungeon right now. But I
- 6:17Speaker 1: have a makeshift living together literally are But I got
- 6:20Speaker 1: a makeshift room. I don't know what it is. It's
- 6:23Speaker 1: it has no windows. It has a window like up there,
- 6:25Speaker 1: it has a baby windows skylight. Yeah, it's scary, you know,
- 6:29Speaker 1: like a stick that swirls. I feel like I'm a
- 6:30Speaker 1: Harry Potter, Like, are.
- 6:32Speaker 4: You fill on you?
- 6:33Speaker 1: No, I'm just I hate being in the room. Our
- 6:36Speaker 1: current place is ugly. But still, I mean that's New York.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I went, yea New York is you know you're not
- 6:41Speaker 4: going to get a lot for New York.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I expect the ship whereas La. I'm like, where's this
- 6:46Speaker 3: ship coming from?
- 6:47Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Where?
- 6:47Speaker 3: I'm like, but overall, yeah, like New York has its
- 6:51Speaker 3: charms that doesn't have.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Yes, that's for sure. Well, there's definitely more transient people
- 6:57Speaker 4: in LA. I don't feel it. It is as as
- 7:01Speaker 4: like home orientative, if you want to use that word.
- 7:05Speaker 4: I mean New York is more neighborhood.
- 7:07Speaker 3: New York is more it's more accessible, Yes, it's more accessible,
- 7:12Speaker 3: like as in LA.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Like we you have to have.
- 7:15Speaker 3: A car in LA and like driving like when my
- 7:17Speaker 3: friends would hit you up at like ten o'clock at night, like, oh,
- 7:19Speaker 3: come like twenty minutes down the road driving, which doesn't
- 7:21Speaker 3: seem that like bad. I'm like, I'm not going to
- 7:24Speaker 3: lose my parking spot. So like no, whereas here you
- 7:26Speaker 3: can jump on a train and do anything you can
- 7:29Speaker 3: as a gay adult. I just feel like New York
- 7:32Speaker 3: makes more sense for us.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Do you feel like the doors will open up more
- 7:36Speaker 4: here then.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I would hope? So I feel very helpful here.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Like I said, I've been crying a little bit, but
- 7:41Speaker 3: like that's only I'm just crying.
- 7:45Speaker 1: It just I feel very.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Overwhelmed with like picking up my life again. Whereas like
- 7:50Speaker 3: we gave LA a three year trial it was Do
- 7:54Speaker 3: I feel like it was long enough?
- 7:55Speaker 1: No, But I didn't feel like I want to feel
- 7:58Speaker 1: like our energy wasn't right, Like I just felt like
- 8:01Speaker 1: we were floating in the right we were floating.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I feel like we've only been here for a month
- 8:06Speaker 3: and I've made more connections in the month than I
- 8:08Speaker 3: made in three years in La. So I just feel
- 8:10Speaker 3: like my energy works here and LA will be there
- 8:13Speaker 3: when I need it.
- 8:14Speaker 4: To be there. Yes, do you are you? Are you
- 8:17Speaker 4: working on another show we're going in the book now or.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Is it more of a ya.
- 8:22Speaker 3: So we're working on a third book right now called
- 8:25Speaker 3: I'm going to Kathy's. It's our big Kathy is our neighbor.
- 8:30Speaker 1: So it's kind of like an offset to our first book,
- 8:32Speaker 1: Pery the Gayway. So I'm going to Kathy's is a lie.
- 8:35Speaker 1: We would tell our mom when we wanted to go
- 8:36Speaker 1: get laid. We said, my mom, I'm going to our
- 8:38Speaker 1: neighbor Katay okay, and she made up. No, she's real,
- 8:42Speaker 1: she's real.
- 8:44Speaker 4: And did Kathy know that you were using her?
- 8:48Speaker 1: This year?
- 8:49Speaker 3: Later later on, later on in life, when my mom
- 8:51Speaker 3: would be like, where are the boys and she's like, oh,
- 8:53Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 8:54Speaker 1: No. Like, basically, the book explores all of our sexual
- 8:57Speaker 1: escapades through the eyes of our friend Kathy. It's basically
- 9:01Speaker 1: what take Me On the persona of Kathy taught us.
- 9:05Speaker 3: The entire premise is like us as gay men, like
- 9:08Speaker 3: we don't get a gay sex ad, like gay people
- 9:10Speaker 3: don't get that. So like self exploration through sketchy hookups
- 9:15Speaker 3: kind of becomes our teacher. Yeah, so the book is
- 9:19Speaker 3: basically about like what Sketchy Hookups taught us.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I'm going to Kathy's is like the gay birds and
- 9:23Speaker 1: the bees, the otters and the bears. Ye, the unicorns
- 9:28Speaker 1: and the bears. Yes, So we're very excited for this book.
- 9:31Speaker 3: We think it hits a lot of topics that like
- 9:33Speaker 3: gay people want to read about, like fun sex stories, stupidity,
- 9:37Speaker 3: and just.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I won't ruin they.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Can you give me at least one story. Let's let
- 9:42Speaker 4: a good one.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Someone dies in the book. I'm sorry. Someone gets murdered
- 9:48Speaker 1: in the book, and it was someone I dated, and
- 9:51Speaker 1: I'll leave it at that. Somebody always dies, someone gets
- 9:57Speaker 1: murdered in Yeah.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Somebody always gets murdered too. And I did most stories.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Well with a real life story, and I think with
- 10:04Speaker 1: the gay community. Her whole point on the book is
- 10:07Speaker 1: that when you're walking into a hookup, you're walking into
- 10:09Speaker 1: a random room, not knowing the person's name, not knowing
- 10:12Speaker 1: anything about them, that you're basically would you rather orgasm
- 10:15Speaker 1: or get murdered? Like that's kind of.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Yeah for gay people, Like getting is life or death.
- 10:20Speaker 3: It is, and it really is. I Mean there's plenty
- 10:22Speaker 3: of times I watched into a hotel room and I'm like,
- 10:24Speaker 3: I don't know this person's name, I barely know their phase,
- 10:27Speaker 3: and you go in there just like because you're horny.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So I do think.
- 10:30Speaker 3: That that us says gay people like we risk it
- 10:33Speaker 3: all for sex, not saying it's a good thing or
- 10:35Speaker 3: a bad thing.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It's just that's what the book explores.
- 10:37Speaker 3: And when we first started writing it, we were just
- 10:39Speaker 3: like going back and forth sharing our sex stories. And
- 10:42Speaker 3: I was like, I gave Michael list of all my
- 10:44Speaker 3: sex stories and he goes, are you just bragging?
- 10:47Speaker 1: And I'm like we we were talking about like what
- 10:49Speaker 1: actually has grit to it? And yeah. I was like
- 10:51Speaker 1: I was at a party and I got like, and
- 10:53Speaker 1: two people are blowing me at once, and I said, okay, cool,
- 10:56Speaker 1: what's the point.
- 10:57Speaker 3: No, it was five, it was five people. It was yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 3: it was a good it was a good time. And
- 11:02Speaker 3: when then I started I started writing it, I was
- 11:05Speaker 3: like I went upstairs, one person started blowing me, then three,
- 11:08Speaker 3: and I was like, this book, this chef makes no sense.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I'm like, what, like, I am bragging?
- 11:13Speaker 3: So I went back and really picked the people that
- 11:16Speaker 3: like changed my life.
- 11:17Speaker 1: We talked about relationships too.
- 11:18Speaker 3: It's not just hookups like breakups, hookups, strangers, it's it's
- 11:23Speaker 3: it's a whole rainbow of like and I'm like, I'm
- 11:25Speaker 3: so proud of where it's become because when we first started,
- 11:27Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, this book's okay.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Then we ended it, I was like, oh my god,
- 11:30Speaker 1: this book's amazing.
- 11:31Speaker 4: How do you feel, phil Street relationships are different from
- 11:35Speaker 4: gay relationships.
- 11:37Speaker 3: I think different personally. I think definitely. Did I think
- 11:41Speaker 3: the biggest thing for gay men and this is what.
- 11:44Speaker 4: You're dealing with two miles. Yeah, definitely.
- 11:47Speaker 3: The powers of a lot of gir relationships is sex.
- 11:49Speaker 3: A lot of Like we deal with open relationships. I
- 11:51Speaker 3: know straight people do as well. There's swingers, but it's
- 11:53Speaker 3: not as widely acceptable in the straight community versus the
- 11:57Speaker 3: gay community.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I think the biggest because yeah, well trust me, I yes,
- 12:03Speaker 1: when you put two dicks in an equation, it's a
- 12:04Speaker 1: different story.
- 12:05Speaker 4: It's a whole different story. Okay.
- 12:07Speaker 3: So I think gay relationships deal a lot with there's
- 12:10Speaker 3: a lot of like trust issues, there's a lot of
- 12:12Speaker 3: communication that gets failed, and sex is a big part
- 12:14Speaker 3: of it. So we are very open to things that
- 12:17Speaker 3: straight people would consider cheating, which for us are normal.
- 12:21Speaker 1: So it's it's as hard. At the end of the day,
- 12:22Speaker 1: the straight, straight couples, their whole goal is to get
- 12:26Speaker 1: married and have a family. We don't really have that option.
- 12:29Speaker 1: So it's we do. It's just like we do.
- 12:32Speaker 4: But it's not it's not as on the it's not
- 12:34Speaker 4: as on the table as I mean.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Women obviously they feel like they have a clock where
- 12:37Speaker 1: they need to hit a specifically one. Before forty, we
- 12:40Speaker 1: were we feel like gay men age younger.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I will say that, like women want to be married
- 12:47Speaker 3: and like wiped up at like you know, before max thirty,
- 12:50Speaker 3: and then gay men are just like now getting into.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Like they're like fifty years old. We're like, I think
- 12:55Speaker 1: I can commit. Yeah.
- 12:56Speaker 3: I was like my friends like, when you want to
- 12:57Speaker 3: have kids, I'm like forty to like forty, I'm like, yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 3: that's too late to have a kid.
- 13:01Speaker 4: I mean it forty. I can't even think.
- 13:06Speaker 1: When did you have your first kid?
- 13:08Speaker 4: Twenty one?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, twenty one.
- 13:09Speaker 4: I had my last one at thirty five, and it
- 13:11Speaker 4: was a bit. It's a big difference. It's a different patience.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Like my first one was attached to my hip. She
- 13:21Speaker 4: came with me everywhere. I'm lucky if that my third one.
- 13:23Speaker 4: I even took it.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Ever time from the college.
- 13:26Speaker 4: She was like, it was like nanny raised because I
- 13:31Speaker 4: was working full time at the time, so it was
- 13:32Speaker 4: so completely different of how they were raised. You know.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like it's just and as you
- 13:39Speaker 4: get older, you don't have as much patience.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Was it difficult being a mother? Like twenty one, I
- 13:44Speaker 3: just can't find I can't.
- 13:47Speaker 4: One my sister, Like I felt like I was like
- 13:49Speaker 4: it was like we were both growing up together.
- 13:51Speaker 1: That's basically I was a mess. I think I'm still
- 13:53Speaker 1: a mess, but like I can't even.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I can't fath them like a twenty one year old.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I did it, Yeah, I can have when things were.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Still alive, like she's like still breathing.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Our mom our mom had reasonable diapers for us. Yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 3: so she would. She told us she would like take
- 14:08Speaker 3: the diapers, wash them, and using that's a warrior mom.
- 14:13Speaker 1: This one's to you. That is a woman, right, she's something.
- 14:17Speaker 4: But it's it's I think that women. Maybe that what
- 14:21Speaker 4: you're saying. Women have to go to school, they have
- 14:24Speaker 4: to have a career. Now that is a career involved.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Now you have to go to school, have a career,
- 14:28Speaker 4: find the meat, find the problem meat, get married, have
- 14:32Speaker 4: children and do and have a career all in between.
- 14:34Speaker 1: This more expectations on women, I think socially in general,
- 14:38Speaker 1: Like I don't know what needs to be fixed with
- 14:41Speaker 1: like rent, food, like the cost of living.
- 14:43Speaker 3: The cost of living does not make sense to conversation
- 14:47Speaker 3: for that's another conversation.
- 14:49Speaker 1: That's a big case. That's a big conversation. Sorry, I'm just.
- 14:51Speaker 4: He did, but I agree with you. But I think
- 14:54Speaker 4: it's just it's not easy for any either either secks
- 14:58Speaker 4: to do it. But I mean, I I do think
- 15:01Speaker 4: now gay men who are getting married are having children.
- 15:05Speaker 4: I mean, as you get older, do you want to
- 15:08Speaker 4: have children that old in your forties in the fifties.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I mean I would, like, you know, I'm in my fifties.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I don't want to have any young kids around me
- 15:15Speaker 4: at this point.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Like I'm like, dude, you.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Know I see young kids now. I'm like, unless they're
- 15:20Speaker 4: they're they're genetically related to.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Me, I don't want to There's so much energy, and
- 15:24Speaker 3: it's not like it's just too much. I said, if
- 15:27Speaker 3: I had like money, I was like, I can't bring
- 15:28Speaker 3: a baby in this world without I can't take care
- 15:30Speaker 3: of myself. I said, maybe if I had, like if
- 15:33Speaker 3: I was like making that money. Sure, but like that's
- 15:36Speaker 3: not even a factor without.
- 15:37Speaker 4: But I think it would be such a great day.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I would be an amazing I'm a girl dad. I
- 15:41Speaker 1: already know it. You would be told I'd be a
- 15:42Speaker 1: girl dad would be friends. But you know I would
- 15:45Speaker 1: be a good dad. I just don't know if I
- 15:46Speaker 1: want that child would be in therapy. Yours would be
- 15:49Speaker 1: in therapy. Are you serious? No, my kid would love me.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Let's face with all kids need to all parents. Nobody
- 15:55Speaker 4: nobody taught us how to be a parent. Nobody gave
- 15:58Speaker 4: us a look. And you know, like I said, I
- 16:01Speaker 4: tell my kids, are you alive? They go yes, I said,
- 16:03Speaker 4: so I did a good job. That's basically, are you
- 16:07Speaker 4: here not losing appendage? You have all your limbs, you're good,
- 16:11Speaker 4: you're both your eyes.
- 16:12Speaker 1: How many kids you have?
- 16:13Speaker 4: Three?
- 16:14Speaker 1: Three? You have a favorite?
- 16:17Speaker 4: He's not supposed to tell people that, but you.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Don't have to say. You don't say which one.
- 16:21Speaker 4: But at all different levels, there's there's different points where
- 16:25Speaker 4: they are. They're all my favorite.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Yeah, so she has a favorite.
- 16:27Speaker 3: If your kids are watching she has a favorite.
- 16:31Speaker 4: I think that my older one maybe now is I
- 16:34Speaker 4: guess I relate the most of her because now she's
- 16:37Speaker 4: she's thirty two, you know, and now she's getting married
- 16:41Speaker 4: and into an adult life where it's like I have
- 16:45Speaker 4: more in common with her. Yeah, that makes I could say,
- 16:48Speaker 4: you know, where I'm my eighteen year old. I'm fifty two.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Do I really want to be bothered with an eighteen
- 16:52Speaker 4: year old? And they're all their problems with they're.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Just graduated, she's in college. She's in college, thank god,
- 16:58Speaker 1: she's away of college, thank god at first. So you're
- 17:01Speaker 1: not so you're not the favorite, she's the baby.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Okay, So I think that I think, I mean, you know,
- 17:09Speaker 4: I think it's at different times of their lives where
- 17:12Speaker 4: they become more I don't want to say favorite, but
- 17:15Speaker 4: are you more relatable? Yeah?
- 17:17Speaker 1: I get that different phases.
- 17:18Speaker 4: When their kids when they were in high school, you
- 17:20Speaker 4: hate their cuts, Like I like my one daughter. I
- 17:24Speaker 4: hated her when she was in high school. I did
- 17:26Speaker 4: now now now I like her again, I hated.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I wonder I honestly question what our mom thinks about us.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I know she doesn't hate us, but I'm like, do
- 17:34Speaker 3: you like us and like what's the and sore she
- 17:37Speaker 3: likes us. I'm like our older brother. That's another podcast
- 17:41Speaker 3: for another day. But are you close to him our
- 17:44Speaker 3: older brother? No, Joey, Well, Michael and Joey are closed.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Our older brothers.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Are, but are We have such an easy way of
- 17:52Speaker 1: writing because we have so many characters that we will
- 17:54Speaker 1: live with, one of them being our older brother Joey.
- 17:58Speaker 3: And he's straight, he's straight, he married, he's like we like,
- 18:02Speaker 3: he's like the princess Diane. No, he's the black shape
- 18:04Speaker 3: of the family.
- 18:05Speaker 4: So he's the favorite.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Then he is? He is the favorite. Joey is the favorite.
- 18:09Speaker 1: My mom my mom like babies him, does everything for
- 18:13Speaker 1: him and joe Yeah, Joey's story for another day. The
- 18:18Speaker 1: government's trying to kill him and he's scared of white
- 18:20Speaker 1: bread Joey. Joey. He needs to figure out Joey.
- 18:26Speaker 3: He only just says he's malnourished. Joe if you're listening
- 18:29Speaker 3: to this, please eat something. Joey is.
- 18:34Speaker 1: No. The last one he dated. I don't know.
- 18:36Speaker 3: She's like fucked up now. She went to rehab like
- 18:39Speaker 3: she she w No, I think she was to be
- 18:42Speaker 3: good with I mean so Joey's like I love Joey
- 18:47Speaker 3: to dad, but we just like he has no emotional empathy. Yes,
- 18:53Speaker 3: like I want to love Joey, but he makes it
- 18:56Speaker 3: so hard to love him, and like he just he
- 18:59Speaker 3: literally just crying. He no, he literally just read our
- 19:02Speaker 3: He literally just read our book last week, my first book.
- 19:04Speaker 4: He sounds like he needs he needs a hug.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I think we get stabbed.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Like no, he's just like he's so rude and like
- 19:14Speaker 3: he just read our book, our first book are like
- 19:16Speaker 3: coming out.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Story when our families read our book. Yeah, so yeah,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I don't know why, but like.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Can you send me a copy of your book?
- 19:23Speaker 1: Absolutely, I only wrote.
- 19:24Speaker 4: I only read like piece of it. I'd like to
- 19:27Speaker 4: read the whole thing.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I think we'll give you this. I'll give me a book,
- 19:31Speaker 1: and we'll give you the new book, the new books.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I think what makes our feeling uncomfortable about it is
- 19:37Speaker 1: just like there are sexual stories and pray the gayway,
- 19:39Speaker 1: but it's only like two or three sexual stories and they're.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Not I'm surprised if if you told me I was
- 19:44Speaker 3: in your book, the first thing I would do is
- 19:46Speaker 3: read your fucking book.
- 19:47Speaker 1: You know what I mean I'm like, you're not going
- 19:48Speaker 1: to read the book.
- 19:49Speaker 3: So Joey read our book last week, chapter A chapter,
- 19:52Speaker 3: and then texted Michael the.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Chapter that he was in.
- 19:55Speaker 1: No he read. He randomly read chapter eight entire the
- 19:59Speaker 1: chapter whereas Thatch eats a pocket and calls the police
- 20:01Speaker 1: on himself.
- 20:03Speaker 3: It's the first time I had an edible, and I
- 20:04Speaker 3: thought I died. But and Joey, joe.
- 20:07Speaker 4: What I did that she called the police?
- 20:09Speaker 3: Yes, after she had some kind I only do.
- 20:13Speaker 4: I don't know what it was. I don't know what
- 20:15Speaker 4: she took.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I only did tenself.
- 20:18Speaker 4: And we were sitting downstairs and the cops came to
- 20:20Speaker 4: the door and told us that she called the police
- 20:22Speaker 4: on hisself. Well, damn, I was like, what is going
- 20:25Speaker 4: on upstairs? See this is apparent.
- 20:28Speaker 3: This is the things that happened our parents didn't wait.
- 20:30Speaker 3: I'm surprised I took an edible. You only regularly it's
- 20:34Speaker 3: like five or ten. It was one hundred milligrams. I
- 20:36Speaker 3: took a hundred milligrams, didn't I didn't know it's time.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Well, let me tell you. The pot today is different
- 20:41Speaker 4: than the pot from my day. It came from the
- 20:44Speaker 4: ground and it wasn't as it's like hydroponic now like yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 4: it's like you're taking like a psychedelic Now, it's like
- 20:52Speaker 4: you're taking it's like acid. Like that's what it's like.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I will say crazy New York weed is not great.
- 20:58Speaker 4: But it's not the same. It's it's it's engineering in
- 21:02Speaker 4: a lab, and if you take too much of it,
- 21:04Speaker 4: especially the edibles, you feel like you're tripping.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I literally different when I say I thought I died,
- 21:10Speaker 3: I thought I died. Anyway, So Joey read the story
- 21:13Speaker 3: and was like texting Michael, did this really happen. I'm
- 21:16Speaker 3: like just like, like, it's so reade. He said, this
- 21:19Speaker 3: sounds so stupid. I'm like, Joey, then don't read it.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I'm like, he just has like a remark to make
- 21:23Speaker 1: Let's not make this podcast about Joe.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Joey's fine. Let's we have a we have an older brother,
- 21:27Speaker 3: we have an older sister. She's very close bridge. It's
- 21:29Speaker 3: cool she has she has. Let's turn it back to you. Okay,
- 21:32Speaker 3: you're from you're from Jersey, New Jersey.
- 21:34Speaker 4: No, I'm from New York. I'm from Brooklyn.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Yeah, from where's the accent come from?
- 21:39Speaker 4: Then, it's it's a New York accent.
- 21:41Speaker 1: So Michael, you're from Jersey this whole time? No, are
- 21:45Speaker 1: you serious?
- 21:45Speaker 4: No, I have such a New York accent. So Michael, see,
- 21:48Speaker 4: that's what people who are not from New York.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Would say that that's crazy.
- 21:52Speaker 4: This is such a Brooklyn accent.
- 21:54Speaker 1: A Brooklyn accent.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I literally thought you were straight from the Jersey Shore.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I literally thought, funny.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Thing is a lot of people that have houses that
- 22:01Speaker 4: are from Brooklyn to go to Jersey Shore.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Michael just watched the entire Jersey Shore series in the
- 22:05Speaker 3: last two months, and he's obsessed.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I am now a fan.
- 22:09Speaker 3: And we learned something about you that we'd like to
- 22:12Speaker 3: ask you.
- 22:13Speaker 4: You're gonna ask me if I was on the show.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You were in Angelina's wedding. I was as a bridesmaid.
- 22:18Speaker 4: I was. I was in her wedding party.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Details. It was tails so annoying on TV. I need
- 22:23Speaker 1: to know more.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I was. We were friends, were past tense. She asked
- 22:29Speaker 4: me to be in her wedding party.
- 22:31Speaker 1: What color was The color was the Brithesmais dress.
- 22:33Speaker 4: They were a champagne. It was something that I would
- 22:36Speaker 4: have would have picked. I would I would have totally
- 22:39Speaker 4: picked something else. But yeah, and her her ex husband
- 22:43Speaker 4: is now in the news for something else that just happened.
- 22:45Speaker 4: But that's it. That's for another story.
- 22:48Speaker 1: We didn't know.
- 22:50Speaker 4: He's heard other story.
- 22:51Speaker 3: He's been watching The Jersey Shore for the last week
- 22:53Speaker 3: and is maybe five years too late on.
- 22:56Speaker 1: The entire literally like seventeen years late. But we'll be
- 22:58Speaker 1: we'll be at the we'll be at the bar.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Because anyone watched The Jersey Shore and they're like the
- 23:01Speaker 3: show from two thousand and ten.
- 23:03Speaker 1: He goes, Yeah, that's.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Anyone loves watched the new show.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I haven't watched it.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Literally, just Michael, Like Michael is on every trend. Michael
- 23:10Speaker 3: is like ten years late, like he's now into Pokemon.
- 23:14Speaker 4: But like, so, let me ask you a question. What
- 23:19Speaker 4: is your favorite reality show that you do watch now.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Besides Jersey Guilty Pleasure one thousand percent. I've already rewatched
- 23:25Speaker 3: it nine times. America's Next Time Model, Wow, but only
- 23:28Speaker 3: seasons one through ten.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Wow.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Yeah, what her name was on it? Tyra Banks? Not Tyra?
- 23:36Speaker 4: Who's the other one?
- 23:36Speaker 2: That is?
- 23:37Speaker 1: Janie Dickinson. Yes, I like Jane she was a plot.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I love her.
- 23:40Speaker 4: I love her.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I know she just came on the song.
- 23:43Speaker 4: She did she just be married to Slide. Did you
- 23:46Speaker 4: know the song she was with Slicestorm?
- 23:47Speaker 1: I know, yes, No, she just kids. She just released
- 23:51Speaker 1: the song.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I think it's called It's either called Who's the Boss,
- 23:53Speaker 3: Oru'd the Bitch or something of a reference.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Love that Wild. It's like a Rue Paul Like I got.
- 23:59Speaker 4: To listen to it, so it's like I can't be
- 24:01Speaker 4: sold like.
- 24:01Speaker 1: That number one of the charts and I'm just kidding,
- 24:04Speaker 1: remember one the dance charts, just like share this album. No,
- 24:06Speaker 1: that's definitely my What what is yours? I would say,
- 24:09Speaker 1: like you're in the Project Runway right now? I love?
- 24:12Speaker 1: I love Project Runway. Oh no, love on a spectrum
- 24:14Speaker 1: right now? Oh yeah, have you heard of that?
- 24:16Speaker 4: Yes, I've heard of that.
- 24:16Speaker 1: It's really we have we have not touched like nephew.
- 24:19Speaker 1: So just seeing it is just beautiful to watch, Like
- 24:23Speaker 1: it's just I like cry every time watching an episode.
- 24:26Speaker 1: You haven't seen any episode?
- 24:27Speaker 4: No I have, I've heard of it. I gotta watch it.
- 24:29Speaker 4: I don't have time to watch.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I know you're a busy woman, taking take an edible.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Watch the series. It's amazing.
- 24:36Speaker 1: You'll cry. I really, it really is.
- 24:38Speaker 4: I'm afraid to take any edibles.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Now, okay take.
- 24:41Speaker 4: You need to hold of them. I'm so petrified to them.
- 24:45Speaker 1: We'll drink. How about you take a shot.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Okay, we could do that. We could do that. I
- 24:49Speaker 4: think it can handle. And are is any of your
- 24:54Speaker 4: Is your sister in your book too? Is our kids
- 24:56Speaker 4: in your book?
- 24:57Speaker 1: So in Pray the Gayway, it really focuses more on
- 25:00Speaker 1: our mom. This new book, we talked to us about.
- 25:02Speaker 4: Your background, like your religious background.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Yeah, a little bit about it because the middle so
- 25:07Speaker 3: there's a there's a different Yeah.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I think that's the biggest I mean, being being a
- 25:12Speaker 1: foreigner in this country is like really difficult to navigate
- 25:15Speaker 1: a gay sex life because our great grandma got married
- 25:18Speaker 1: at thirteen eleven. She got married at eleven, and like
- 25:21Speaker 1: you know, us being us, being thirty, she got blocks
- 25:24Speaker 1: on her wedding night. She got toys on her wedding night. Yeah, kids,
- 25:29Speaker 1: well she had like probably there's bebe I think four
- 25:34Speaker 1: four three or four.
- 25:35Speaker 3: But but Grandma Gazola, that's her nafe.
- 25:38Speaker 1: This one's for you. But like us, being thirty and
- 25:41Speaker 1: unmarried and queer, it is just so like crazy to
- 25:45Speaker 1: our family because we're entering a new era.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Of like what it means to be Middle Eastern and
- 25:49Speaker 3: what it means to be like men in this era,
- 25:51Speaker 3: and this book just show showcases like sex lives and
- 25:55Speaker 3: how sex should be normalized. I feel like for a while,
- 25:58Speaker 3: especially in the Middle Eastern, and it's taboo, which I
- 26:00Speaker 3: don't understand why, because I think sex is so like freeing,
- 26:03Speaker 3: so natural, and I like I do I do like
- 26:06Speaker 3: get jealous of how Americans handle certain topics, and I
- 26:09Speaker 3: think sex is one that I'm like, I wish we
- 26:11Speaker 3: embraced a.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Lot more for the French. Doesn't the French love sex
- 26:14Speaker 1: or something?
- 26:15Speaker 4: I think the French are very open.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Feel like we should we should be more open with
- 26:19Speaker 3: our sex lives. And this book is that, like the
- 26:22Speaker 3: first book, Pray the Gay Way, you kind of have
- 26:23Speaker 3: to know who we were for the book to make sense,
- 26:25Speaker 3: whereas this book.
- 26:26Speaker 1: It's kind of like it started off as like short
- 26:28Speaker 1: stories about just funny like you didn't have to know us,
- 26:31Speaker 1: just funny hookup stories. But as we like dived deeper
- 26:34Speaker 1: into it, we're like, oh my god, I think we're
- 26:36Speaker 1: therapying ourselves. Writing our own sex. It sounds like well
- 26:39Speaker 1: because you're seeing like your patterns and relationships and sex
- 26:42Speaker 1: and you're like, wait, am I crazy? Or are they crazy? Yeah?
- 26:45Speaker 1: My first chap this would be.
- 26:46Speaker 4: A great your book would be a great show, like
- 26:49Speaker 4: it would be Do you see it as a movie
- 26:52Speaker 4: or do you see it as a show?
- 26:54Speaker 1: And I would see it more as like, honestly, probably
- 26:56Speaker 1: a TV show because if someone people come in and
- 26:59Speaker 1: out of your life for short periods of time, that
- 27:01Speaker 1: if you had to have a whole movie about a
- 27:02Speaker 1: boyfriend you hated, I would I think. I think out
- 27:04Speaker 1: of the first two books, we see what the reason
- 27:06Speaker 1: we moved to La in the first place was Prayer
- 27:08Speaker 1: the Gayway was optioned as a TV series, and I
- 27:11Speaker 1: think Prayer the Gayway makes sense. It's like a gay
- 27:13Speaker 1: Middle Eastern coming out verse our hookups, which would be
- 27:16Speaker 1: like a cute short film. I don't know, no, I
- 27:19Speaker 1: mean it was. It was like the writing process for
- 27:22Speaker 1: me is so freeing. I like love what writing does.
- 27:24Speaker 3: My first chapter is about my first time and I
- 27:27Speaker 3: don't know how it got there, but I ended up
- 27:29Speaker 3: tying in my dad.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I have no idea how, I have no idea.
- 27:31Speaker 3: How yeah, I don't know how I talked about like
- 27:33Speaker 3: my dad, it's it's weird, and I just like I
- 27:35Speaker 3: was like wow, I was like you really just like
- 27:37Speaker 3: find that I love like writing and then call me
- 27:39Speaker 3: out the details, which like come out.
- 27:41Speaker 1: There's a lot of fun. I think my chapter started
- 27:43Speaker 1: with identity because I never questioned my identity, realizing when
- 27:47Speaker 1: I'm writing, I'm like, wait, I've always been questioning who
- 27:50Speaker 1: I am. And chapter one talks about like kind of
- 27:55Speaker 1: as a gay person, you kind of feel feminine as
- 27:58Speaker 1: a as a kid, so I didn't know if I
- 28:00Speaker 1: was leaning. I didn't know as a kid if I
- 28:03Speaker 1: felt like a girl, had the mindset of a girl,
- 28:06Speaker 1: or wanted to be a girl. Like it was just
- 28:07Speaker 1: so confusing for me. So my whole chapter is kind
- 28:10Speaker 1: of exploring that, Like what do you feel now, Michael?
- 28:12Speaker 1: I mean I definitely feel like in that in that choker,
- 28:16Speaker 1: that's sexy, little little sexy choker. I mean I feel
- 28:19Speaker 1: like in every gay boy there is a woman right here.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Every every man needs a woman to support themselves.
- 28:26Speaker 4: So you feel you're more masculine or feminine.
- 28:31Speaker 3: I think in this era, I understand the who I
- 28:34Speaker 3: don't know who's more feminine, more feminine Michael, I just
- 28:37Speaker 3: tend and if it comes with the fashion, because I
- 28:40Speaker 3: tend to like when I shop, I tend to only
- 28:42Speaker 3: shop in the girl section.
- 28:44Speaker 4: This is also a girl So would you sleep your
- 28:46Speaker 4: way to the top then no, no, my book casting
- 28:48Speaker 4: couch if they were hot.
- 28:50Speaker 3: My belief, my belief, my belief is you can only
- 28:53Speaker 3: sleep your way to the middle. You can never sleep
- 28:55Speaker 3: yourway at the top. I trust me, I've tried.
- 28:57Speaker 1: We've had a lot of people that, I mean, you know,
- 28:59Speaker 1: we're we're putting these rooms as like attractive, you know,
- 29:03Speaker 1: not to shoot our own horn, but you know we're
- 29:04Speaker 1: putting these rooms attractive writers that keep getting pushed as actors.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And yeah, a lot of Michael can't act. I can't act, Michael,
- 29:14Speaker 1: I have a feeling act Yeah, I just we.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Just I think I think you both.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Were we're both see we are both comfortable as actors.
- 29:21Speaker 3: But like where we shine is you.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Know, I'm not like a Broadway actor. I don't have
- 29:26Speaker 1: that passion the same as people do on stage. I
- 29:29Speaker 1: can find.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Love to see Michael self tapes. I hate doing.
- 29:34Speaker 4: Can you dance?
- 29:36Speaker 1: Can Michael can you dance can I didn't know we
- 29:39Speaker 1: had a dance number in our in Prayer the Gay
- 29:40Speaker 1: Way of the stage show, and they put us in
- 29:42Speaker 1: the bag. That's how bad. They were.
- 29:44Speaker 3: So bad it was literally a fid of that, like.
- 29:46Speaker 4: It was so you could no, we didn't see, like
- 29:51Speaker 4: we're in.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Our heads the show.
- 29:52Speaker 3: It was like our first time acting. And I hate
- 29:55Speaker 3: saying this, like as like a ego thing. Our first
- 29:57Speaker 3: time acting was literally on stage, like we didn't have,
- 30:01Speaker 3: like we didn't have like community.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I wish we had a little bit.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Of some.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I think we're better, Like we started an improv yeah,
- 30:10Speaker 1: I mean it was a comedic show, so we blended
- 30:12Speaker 1: well into it and I say of improv experience, so
- 30:16Speaker 1: it was it was easy for us.
- 30:18Speaker 3: But I think looking back, I wish I could, like
- 30:21Speaker 3: I wish we had like a trial and error phase
- 30:22Speaker 3: of our life, like high school, Like we didn't even
- 30:24Speaker 3: do high school. Like theater, like when I say our
- 30:27Speaker 3: first show was Foreigner People, our first show, and that
- 30:29Speaker 3: was my first time acting in front of foreigner people,
- 30:31Speaker 3: where I wish I was in front of like twelve people,
- 30:33Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like I we started and
- 30:34Speaker 3: I'm not saying this to like fluff, are you go,
- 30:36Speaker 3: Like we started at the top and we need to start,
- 30:38Speaker 3: Like we need to start like right here, do you
- 30:40Speaker 3: know what I mean?
- 30:40Speaker 1: I'm like, we started too high.
- 30:42Speaker 3: We were working with like we did, and I was
- 30:45Speaker 3: it was very nerve wrecking and we were working with
- 30:47Speaker 3: professionals and it was so much fun. But Michael and
- 30:50Speaker 3: I were so anxious at the time, like we were
- 30:51Speaker 3: younger and just didn't understand acting as a whole, and
- 30:55Speaker 3: it just I might like when Michael, when I look
- 30:57Speaker 3: back at our like acting era, like I almost like
- 31:00Speaker 3: don't remember it because I'm just like I was so
- 31:02Speaker 3: I was so nervous and now I'm like if I
- 31:05Speaker 3: did that now, I would eat that ship up.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Yeah, no crumbs left.
- 31:09Speaker 4: So is that is that going to be on your
- 31:11Speaker 4: bucket list? You're gonna You're gonna act? Or what is
- 31:13Speaker 4: your what is your next what is your hope after
- 31:16Speaker 4: you get after get your next book?
- 31:20Speaker 1: So our plan in New York is to release this
- 31:22Speaker 1: next book. I'm going to Cathy's and after that, we
- 31:25Speaker 1: have a play that we're hopefully trying to put back
- 31:28Speaker 1: into New York that we we keep having an argument
- 31:31Speaker 1: over if we really want to go back into that world.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Our first our first play. We did it with the company.
- 31:37Speaker 3: We didn't We won't say too much about the company.
- 31:39Speaker 3: We didn't love the we didn't love the companiesically abusive, Michael,
- 31:42Speaker 3: we won't say much about the company.
- 31:44Speaker 1: We didn't love the company.
- 31:45Speaker 3: And now we we completely workshopped at rewrote it to
- 31:47Speaker 3: where we feel it as a car Twins product, and
- 31:50Speaker 3: now we're trying to repitch.
- 31:51Speaker 1: It with our only our name. So we're seeing where
- 31:54Speaker 1: that leads us. But being in New York, we want
- 31:56Speaker 1: to take more creative paths that weren't available to us
- 31:59Speaker 1: in LA.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Like, do I see us acting Yes, if the right
- 32:01Speaker 3: opportunity comes. I think New York has a lot of opportunity.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I'm ready to just diverge in whereas l A I
- 32:07Speaker 3: kind of have. I had one goal and it was
- 32:08Speaker 3: to sell projects, project and here I'm like, let's see
- 32:11Speaker 3: where the world takes me.
- 32:12Speaker 4: You could do a Yeah, you could write, you can produce.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Michael and I are like, I think you're very ecoctic.
- 32:20Speaker 4: I think you could do it all.
- 32:22Speaker 1: We think so, you guys, we're coming out with a
- 32:24Speaker 1: fashion brand two coming out slowly fashion. Well, we were
- 32:30Speaker 1: starting with underwear first because that's our clientele is queer men,
- 32:34Speaker 1: so we're we're diving into it first. We want to
- 32:36Speaker 1: make a Middle Eastern line of clothing that'll be amazing,
- 32:39Speaker 1: and we're starting with underwear because that just makes the
- 32:41Speaker 1: most sense audience. Yeah, so we're excited. We're excited. We're
- 32:44Speaker 1: doing a lot of projects going on. Yeah. I think
- 32:47Speaker 1: so proud. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 32:48Speaker 4: I'm so proud.
- 32:49Speaker 1: And we heard you just open another building, so we're
- 32:51Speaker 1: proud of you. You're making that money.
- 32:54Speaker 4: I'm trying. I'm trying. I got this nail, so I'm
- 32:57Speaker 4: trying to get this going. My cats and podcast, so
- 33:01Speaker 4: I'm so dilid. You both came on and I got
- 33:03Speaker 4: to talk to you today. It's such a pleasure to
- 33:05Speaker 4: see you in a different environment and to hear all
- 33:07Speaker 4: about what's going on with you both. That was not
- 33:10Speaker 4: a face right, but I'm not sticking a needle in
- 33:12Speaker 4: your face. It's good to talk to you. So tell
- 33:15Speaker 4: us anything that anybody who should look out for should
- 33:18Speaker 4: we should they? Where can they find you?
- 33:20Speaker 3: I think just if you follow us on all social
- 33:22Speaker 3: media across the platform.
- 33:23Speaker 1: At the car twins. You'll see our little our more chaos. Yeah,
- 33:28Speaker 1: we're like, we're sitting your new book. Yeah, we're like,
- 33:30Speaker 1: I'm going to Kathy.
- 33:32Speaker 4: I had a friend that I was always want to
- 33:34Speaker 4: Kathy's house too.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Every we we always we always say everyone has a Kathy.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Yes, I had to Kathy's. Actually it wasn't always good.
- 33:43Speaker 4: It wasn't always a good outcome when you left Kathy's house.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Sometimes you're like, I'm so excited to go, and then
- 33:49Speaker 1: the minute you leave, you're like, well I should know
- 33:51Speaker 1: that wasn't worth it. And now you have gone, you know, sometimes.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Well, thank god, you're not going to Kathy's house any No,
- 34:00Speaker 4: I'd be more careful about it.
- 34:02Speaker 3: He's in her life ship. I'm not allowed to go
- 34:05Speaker 3: to Kathy's.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I'm single. Yeah, Michael's going to Kathy. Yeah, I've already
- 34:10Speaker 1: had a very weird hook up in.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Kathy's house, onder the house in the garage in the app.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Michael's even Kathy last week and and they referred to
- 34:21Speaker 1: me as a girl slash a dog, a girl dog,
- 34:24Speaker 1: a girl dog. Yeah. He kept whistling at me and
- 34:27Speaker 1: then like was like does the girl like this? And
- 34:28Speaker 1: I was like, did you this is the girl, Like,
- 34:31Speaker 1: did you like it? Kind of? But I don't know
- 34:33Speaker 1: if I was a dog or a girl. It was
- 34:35Speaker 1: very confusing. He like he would whistle, like, when can
- 34:39Speaker 1: you give us your best bark? No, I'm not a barker.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I'm not a dog.
- 34:43Speaker 4: You can't balk for me.
- 34:46Speaker 1: There you go. That's a that's a boy dog.
- 34:48Speaker 3: That's a give us a give us a girl dog bark.
- 34:55Speaker 1: That was great from you.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Now, Okay, yeah, that's definitely a point.
