- 0:01Speaker 1: Where I knew Jason Derulo.
- 0:03Speaker 2: By the way, the video of him, he was in
- 0:06Speaker 2: the studio with us all morning long, and we just
- 0:09Speaker 2: posted the video of him in for when he first
- 0:11Speaker 2: walked in. It's pretty cool. I love when you go
- 0:13Speaker 2: to YouTube and you search John Jay and Rich. I
- 0:16Speaker 2: have a John J. Rich channel, and uh, it's great.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Nice job, Nick. We got these cameras in here. The
- 0:21Speaker 2: lighting looks good. In fact, you can see Jason Derulo
- 0:25Speaker 2: sitting down talking to us, and then right in front
- 0:27Speaker 2: of his face is one of the cameras.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Yeah, we haven't worked as much yet.
- 0:34Speaker 2: And then it cuts to Peyton. Just all Peyton's doing
- 0:37Speaker 2: is filming Jason Derula.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Yeah, hey gotta get that content. Got the proof he
- 0:41Speaker 3: was here, and.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Then and then Rich is talking and behind you Rich
- 0:45Speaker 1: is a picture of you.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Behind me is, well, that's what I do is behind
- 0:48Speaker 4: Peyton is a picture of Peyton.
- 0:51Speaker 1: We sometimes forget what we look like. It's really cool.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I really like it.
- 0:54Speaker 2: You ever want to see behind the scenes type of
- 0:55Speaker 2: stuff and see what it's liking here, go to you
- 0:58Speaker 2: tube YouTube you turd.
- 1:00Speaker 1: And search Don JAYE Rich So your turds yah.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Anyway, speaking of Jason, Rulu and Peyton in front of
- 1:06Speaker 2: our microphone last night?
- 1:07Speaker 1: Where were you Peyton?
- 1:09Speaker 5: I went to the Little John and Pitbull concert.
- 1:13Speaker 1: So he was just here.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Yeah, they were just here for a party in the park.
- 1:16Speaker 3: But I actually wasn't able to make it for party
- 1:18Speaker 3: in the park. I forget I was You weren't part park?
- 1:21Speaker 5: No, I wasn't.
- 1:21Speaker 3: And it was like I was really upset about it.
- 1:23Speaker 3: I think I was out of town. I don't even remember.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Why are you missed out?
- 1:26Speaker 5: Yeah, so I know I missed out, just like.
- 1:28Speaker 1: What you saw last night.
- 1:29Speaker 5: Yeah it was great. It was great. No, there was
- 1:31Speaker 5: eighteen thousand people. There was sold out.
- 1:32Speaker 3: It was at the Talking Stick Amphitheater out in Phoenix,
- 1:36Speaker 3: and it was actually a beautiful night.
- 1:37Speaker 5: So it was a really good show. Little John he
- 1:39Speaker 5: was just playing.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Back all these throwback two thousand songs. He was playing
- 1:43Speaker 3: songs that he produced. It was it was really dope.
- 1:46Speaker 3: And then yeah, mister Worldwide came out and we stayed
- 1:49Speaker 3: for about two songs before I had to go home.
- 1:51Speaker 5: I was tired.
- 1:52Speaker 1: So what time did you get home?
- 1:54Speaker 5: I got home probably run ten.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Okay, So let me ask you this you had said
- 2:00Speaker 2: in a group chat to all of us, you were
- 2:03Speaker 2: pretty stressed out about something around seven pm last night,
- 2:07Speaker 2: Like what were you stressed out about?
- 2:08Speaker 1: Well?
- 2:08Speaker 3: I was stressed out because I had this super cool
- 2:11Speaker 3: opportunity to interview Lil John before he got out on stage.
- 2:15Speaker 3: And as I'm sitting there thinking, I'm like, I don't
- 2:18Speaker 3: really know much about Lil John, Like I know how
- 2:21Speaker 3: to get down in a dance circle to Little John,
- 2:23Speaker 3: but I don't know much about what I'm gonna talk
- 2:25Speaker 3: to Little John about.
- 2:26Speaker 5: So I texted the group chat.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I was like, any ideas on what I could talk
- 2:31Speaker 3: to Little John about so I don't sound like an
- 2:33Speaker 3: idiot when the time comes.
- 2:35Speaker 2: So then, I I mean, it was like, what a
- 2:38Speaker 2: golden opportunity here? So I texted Peyton individually, not in
- 2:42Speaker 2: a group chat, and I had an idea to give
- 2:45Speaker 2: Peyton questions that had nothing to do with Little John's history,
- 2:49Speaker 2: false history, and see if she would just innocently ask
- 2:52Speaker 2: him these questions that aren't true and see how he respond.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So how did that go before? Like what happened before?
- 2:58Speaker 3: We have the clips here, I'm reading them and I'm like, okay,
- 3:02Speaker 3: like this is cool, this is cool.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Now you were like, I didn't know that about Lucia.
- 3:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I was like I didn't, Yeah I was. I
- 3:07Speaker 5: was like, I didn't know that your serious?
- 3:09Speaker 2: This is crazy, Like Peyton loves that show Power. Yeah,
- 3:12Speaker 2: I was like, I wonder if I could. I'm gonna
- 3:13Speaker 2: come up me find a character on Power and say
- 3:16Speaker 2: that he.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Was up for it.
- 3:17Speaker 3: But yeah, but it was Empire that I were talking
- 3:20Speaker 3: about Empire. But I liked Empire too, But I was like, what,
- 3:24Speaker 3: that's crazy. And so I get inside the venue. I'm
- 3:27Speaker 3: like getting ready to interview a Little John and I'm
- 3:29Speaker 3: like looking and I'm like, what like LSU baseball? Like,
- 3:34Speaker 3: I'm like kind of confused. So then I start like
- 3:37Speaker 3: researching it and I'm like, Joan Jay is so full
- 3:39Speaker 3: of it right now, and I'm like texting him back.
- 3:41Speaker 5: I'm like, are you playing with me?
- 3:43Speaker 3: And he's like responding like what what are you talking about?
- 3:47Speaker 3: And so then I just go into the interview and
- 3:49Speaker 3: I'm like, you know what, who cares if I'm wrong
- 3:51Speaker 3: and I look like an idiot?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Then that's fine, So I said to her before we
- 3:55Speaker 2: hear the response. These are completely made up for her
- 3:58Speaker 2: to ask Little John when you played college baseball at
- 4:01Speaker 2: L s U. Did you ever think music would eventually
- 4:03Speaker 2: went out? He didn't play back baseball there, so he
- 4:06Speaker 2: responds that. Then I said, do you think people will
- 4:09Speaker 2: still recognize you from the Apprentice?
- 4:11Speaker 3: And that one confused me because he was on the
- 4:14Speaker 3: Celebrity Apprentice.
- 4:15Speaker 2: He was, and I was like, what was it like
- 4:20Speaker 2: turning down the role of Lucius on Empire? Which he
- 4:22Speaker 2: did not do? Okay, so let's let's hear the questions
- 4:25Speaker 2: of the response.
- 4:26Speaker 3: He also told me that you turned down Lucius Lion?
- 4:29Speaker 1: What the hell?
- 4:30Speaker 3: No, what was that?
- 4:31Speaker 5: So called? Oh my Empire? Thank you?
- 4:34Speaker 3: You didn't turn down Lucius.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'm just telling you all kind of dreams.
- 4:39Speaker 5: He was just laughing.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Yeah. I always wanted to ask the questions.
- 4:44Speaker 5: I was confused.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Let's hear the other one.
- 4:49Speaker 5: So my co host was telling me that you played
- 4:50Speaker 5: baseball L s U.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Lion.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Why does he set me up like that athlete?
- 4:56Speaker 4: Ye?
- 4:57Speaker 3: See? And I texted him, I said, I feel like
- 4:59Speaker 3: this is my our humiliation ritual. Yeah, texting me like
- 5:02Speaker 3: question mark, question mark.
- 5:04Speaker 1: No, Yeah, he's messing with you, playing my life.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Just no, just know it's war. It was so bad.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Another one do you think people still recognize you from
- 5:16Speaker 3: the Apprentice, people.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Still recognize me be called the days of Pale. I
- 5:21Speaker 1: think that's the biggest thing.
- 5:23Speaker 3: And I'm like, huh, I didn't even I didn't even
- 5:25Speaker 3: know what to say.
- 5:26Speaker 5: After that, I was like, okay, So then.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I thought the next time, like we had Jason Drulu
- 5:32Speaker 2: in this morning, the next time we have access to
- 5:35Speaker 2: a celebrity. Whenever we do one of these Dogshock Color
- 5:38Speaker 2: games or maybe another game, the loser has to ask
- 5:41Speaker 2: questions that have nothing to do with the celebrity. But
- 5:45Speaker 2: you have to ask him as without saying I lost
- 5:48Speaker 2: the game. Somebody told me to ask you like, you
- 5:50Speaker 2: don't say it straight.
- 5:51Speaker 3: You just be like if it's true, you're gaslighting them,
- 5:55Speaker 3: like yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 5: When you spoke to fifty cent about being.
- 5:59Speaker 3: On power, yeah, and I feel like I should be
- 6:04Speaker 3: from the game. I already played the game.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Did I was so confused.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I didn't know John Jay was setting me up to
- 6:12Speaker 3: fail for that interview.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You know, we need to bring some feet, had to
- 6:16Speaker 1: be fast.
- 6:16Speaker 4: What I remember when we used to keep track of
- 6:18Speaker 4: celebrities and how many fish they could name in about
- 6:20Speaker 4: fifteen seconds. We need to bring that back to It's
- 6:23Speaker 4: just so fun And I think Kelly Clarkson has been
- 6:25Speaker 4: able to name the most fish heard it maybe Kesha
- 6:28Speaker 4: Kesha named a lot of fish too.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we got to do that. We got to bring
- 6:31Speaker 2: that back. Who's the next celebrity we have coming up?
- 6:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Now it's been it's been celebrity city here the last
- 6:36Speaker 1: two days. Well, actually, you know what's funny.
- 6:38Speaker 2: He said, we have the opportunity to interview this director
- 6:41Speaker 2: tomorrow and I said no, But I wonder we used
- 6:44Speaker 2: to say yes and have Peyton so you directed Star Wars?
- 6:49Speaker 1: Like was Kyle?
- 6:51Speaker 4: Were you ever part of the dice roll game that
- 6:54Speaker 4: we did. We had one dice and we would roll
- 6:56Speaker 4: it and everybody would roll it in. Whatever the number
- 6:59Speaker 4: you got, you had to ask questions with that number
- 7:02Speaker 4: of words in it. So if you have a three,
- 7:05Speaker 4: like what about life?
- 7:09Speaker 1: You know we said no to a lot of silvery interviews.
- 7:11Speaker 1: We're gonna anyway. I am a little a little uh
- 7:19Speaker 1: what's the word for clemt this morning? I have? Is
- 7:21Speaker 1: that the word?
- 7:22Speaker 2: I'm I remember? I told you guys, I went shopping
- 7:25Speaker 2: with a with a.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Because you have a big photo shoot coming up.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I can talk about I have I have a I'm
- 7:31Speaker 2: shooting a TV commercial tomorrow and then I'm doing the
- 7:34Speaker 2: photo shoot on Sunday, and then another photo shoot a
- 7:37Speaker 2: couple of.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Days after that, and so I have to go get
- 7:39Speaker 1: a haircut today or something.
- 7:40Speaker 2: But anyway, I bought these new jeans and the guy
- 7:44Speaker 2: that I was trying them on with. The guy goes,
- 7:46Speaker 2: those jeans look great, and he was like, they're a
- 7:48Speaker 2: little tight. He goes, they're gonna loosen up, and so
- 7:51Speaker 2: far they're not loose. I'm aarting them today.
- 7:53Speaker 1: What brand?
- 7:54Speaker 2: Uh bucking Mason, Fucking Mason. Okay, yeah, and they're tight.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And I was already texting my wife and like just
- 8:01Speaker 2: so tight. She's like, just just stretch. I've been stretching.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I feel like I need two people, like I need
- 8:07Speaker 2: like Peyton and Rich. You guys pull on each side.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I feel they on the legs earthly, but just on
- 8:14Speaker 2: the ways, like, ah, the.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Guys could stutch out.
- 8:18Speaker 5: But I think it's like after.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Like a day of wearing them, and you're also in
- 8:21Speaker 4: a very hot climate, so they're gonna get like real loose.
- 8:23Speaker 2: He said they were going to stretch out an inch
- 8:25Speaker 2: which would be perfect if they were an inch bigger
- 8:27Speaker 2: right now, but they're just so like it's they're kind
- 8:29Speaker 2: of like those jeans, you like, that's all it's on
- 8:31Speaker 2: my mind right now.
- 8:31Speaker 5: But then once you stretch them out, you can never
- 8:33Speaker 5: wash them.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Exactly exactly, everybody's stuck a pat.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I go, yeah, I got tight jeans. And then guess
- 8:45Speaker 2: what happened to me this morning. So when we come
- 8:47Speaker 2: into the radio station, we have a key card to
- 8:50Speaker 2: get into the building. And one of the ways you
- 8:54Speaker 2: know you got fired is when your key card isn't working.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I would say, so right, and you hear about people
- 8:59Speaker 2: they get fired here because their key card stop working.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:02Speaker 2: So, but the last couple of weeks, my key card
- 9:06Speaker 2: has been kind of I feel like it's been getting
- 9:08Speaker 2: less powerful.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Right.
- 9:09Speaker 2: So then yesterday it took a long time for my
- 9:12Speaker 2: key card to work. So I was talking to the
- 9:13Speaker 2: engineers and they were like, let me take a look
- 9:15Speaker 2: at it. And they look at it. They go, we
- 9:16Speaker 2: don't even have your key card on file. Wow, my
- 9:18Speaker 2: key card had access to everything. Oh, I mean second floor,
- 9:23Speaker 2: third floor, Like that aren't even our companies. I my
- 9:25Speaker 2: mistake opened up a door when time, I was like,
- 9:27Speaker 2: how do I get in here? And so they had
- 9:29Speaker 2: my key card, like there was no proof of my
- 9:31Speaker 2: key card in the building anywhere, so and it wouldn't
- 9:35Speaker 2: open anything. So then they said, here, we can reset
- 9:37Speaker 2: it for you. So they reset it for me yesterday.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Then guess what couldn't get in today?
- 9:41Speaker 3: Oh?
- 9:41Speaker 2: No, it didn't work. Didn't work. No, it doesn't even
- 9:45Speaker 2: could get me in anywhere?
- 9:46Speaker 1: No way.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Knowing this is you though, is there a possibility that
- 9:49Speaker 4: perhaps you were walking into the building next door that
- 9:51Speaker 4: looks like.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Is there possibility? I gotta let go that's a possibility?
- 9:56Speaker 4: Or maybe you're a ghost. This is how you find
- 9:58Speaker 4: out you're a ghost. Neither b the next door are
- 10:00Speaker 4: you're a ghost? Those are my two options for you anyway?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Oh man, oh, here's some text message about what to
- 10:08Speaker 2: put on her coffee cup. Is it colder on the
- 10:11Speaker 2: farm than in a winter? Or stupid asso or somebody
- 10:19Speaker 2: met hey?
- 10:19Speaker 1: Is it me?
- 10:19Speaker 2: Or did anyone else start singing no scrubs During War
- 10:22Speaker 2: of the Roses, I got prospects.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Very fitting.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Whatever happened to your bird situation? Can it gives an update?
- 10:29Speaker 2: I'm having a bird issue as well. Is that me
- 10:30Speaker 2: that I had a bird issue long time ago. I'm
- 10:33Speaker 2: currently having one. But I don't think we talked about
- 10:34Speaker 2: it on the air. What's your British eye?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Pigeons on my roof? Oh, that was my britishye.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Remember they are pooping everywhere. I've been out with a
- 10:41Speaker 4: power washer like every day. But the pigeon people, the
- 10:43Speaker 4: pigeon people to come out and patrol the pigeons. I
- 10:46Speaker 4: think they made it worse. I think they put up
- 10:48Speaker 4: some kind of like calling card for pigeons to come
- 10:50Speaker 4: and just nest on my roof. So I'm having a
- 10:53Speaker 4: pigeon problem right now, But I don't think we talked
- 10:55Speaker 4: about it.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I went through that. I think that then that's what
- 10:57Speaker 2: they're probably talking about, my pigeon problem. I had a
- 10:59Speaker 2: map said pigeon problem a long time ago. It was
- 11:01Speaker 2: terrible because I think when pigeons are born somewhere, that's
- 11:03Speaker 2: their home forever.
- 11:04Speaker 1: So we had to we had to.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I got this pest control company to come in and
- 11:08Speaker 2: they put nets up everywhere, and they put all these
- 11:10Speaker 2: spikes up all over on our rooms.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but then but then the pigeons started chilling out
- 11:14Speaker 1: on the spikes. It's cute.
- 11:16Speaker 2: And then it took a long time. But now there's
- 11:19Speaker 2: no pigeons. And then we took the nets down, so
- 11:21Speaker 2: now I still have the spikes everywhere. So but there's
- 11:24Speaker 2: no pigeons. Now we have owls.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Get this. I want my house to look like the
- 11:27Speaker 1: outside of a federal prison. Did I tell you? I
- 11:31Speaker 1: told you guys, I posted a video about a baby
- 11:33Speaker 1: owl in my backyard.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Your video I posted. It's on my story. It's not
- 11:36Speaker 2: on my stories, it's on my feed. It's my actual feed.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So I'm in my backyard and we have a palm
- 11:40Speaker 2: tree in the backyard, and there's a hole in it,
- 11:41Speaker 2: and there's a baby owl, which is so cute. It
- 11:44Speaker 2: turns out there's three baby owls in the family.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:48Speaker 2: So, and I hear them every morning when I'm doing
- 11:50Speaker 2: my routine, you know the way owls go right, And
- 11:54Speaker 2: I'm hearing them all morning long, and and then I'm wondering,
- 11:57Speaker 2: you know, he you always hear about birds and spirituality.
- 11:59Speaker 2: So I google what does a baby owl mean? I
- 12:02Speaker 2: have three baby owls in my backyard doesn't mean anything spiritually.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Get this, I have three boys and three owls in
- 12:11Speaker 2: your backyard.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Spiritually means that they're leaving the nest that there are,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and they are.
- 12:17Speaker 2: And I got all emotional, really and I told Blake
- 12:19Speaker 2: and start crying, Yeah, that's that's a while. We got
- 12:23Speaker 2: a nineteen year old to twenty two year old and
- 12:25Speaker 2: twenty three year old, and I was like, now, one
- 12:29Speaker 2: of them, he's been already talking about moving out, getting
- 12:33Speaker 2: his own place, and I just I'm sad about it,
- 12:36Speaker 2: but I also need it to happen, because I really like,
- 12:40Speaker 2: I'm noticing more and more how much I enjoy being alone.
- 12:43Speaker 1: How everybody's head about the bed the beds that went
