- 0:08Speaker 1: Scandal and.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Vice, or sugar and spice It's Naughty But Nice with
- 0:14Speaker 2: Rob Hey, welcome to the Naughty But Nice show. I'm
- 0:17Speaker 2: your host, Rob Shooter, and it is Wednesday, which means
- 0:20Speaker 2: our dear friend Donnie Meacham joins us. Hey, Donnie, are
- 0:24Speaker 2: you there?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Hello, hello, hello, hello. Oh, my favourite day. I was
- 0:28Speaker 1: out last week because my friends were getting married.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Oh, congratulations. What was the wedding like? Were you a bridesmaid?
- 0:37Speaker 1: It was two women, two lesbians. Two lesbians, yes. And
- 0:41Speaker 1: it was in wine country in Temecula. First of all,
- 0:46Speaker 1: I need to make sure when I get married, if
- 0:48Speaker 1: somebody ever decides to marry me, I get to marry rich.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Because this wedding must have cost minimum 50 grand.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Minimum.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And I was like, every time you turned around, I overheard. So, shh,
- 1:00Speaker 1: little Gotham. I was listening. So there was party buses
- 1:03Speaker 1: that took us from the hotel to the wedding. On
- 1:07Speaker 1: the way back, I heard the dad cussing out the
- 1:10Speaker 1: guy because he was a little late. Oh! And then
- 1:13Speaker 1: he was like, well, how much is it? It's $ 1, 000
- 1:15Speaker 1: each way. Oh my.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Each what? I'm like, what? That's a young Uber.
- 1:21Speaker 1: When you come to my wedding, you're Ubering.
- 1:23Speaker 2: There's going to be no party. On the subway. Crazy.
- 1:27Speaker 2: There's some very wealthy people out there. But I think
- 1:30Speaker 2: what we'll focus on here is the love. Love is
- 1:32Speaker 2: love is love is love is love. It's lovely. I
- 1:34Speaker 2: love weddings. I do. I love going to a wedding. Donny,
- 1:37Speaker 2: when the day comes for you, when Cinderella finds his prince,
- 1:43Speaker 2: I'm going to be there like the fairy godmother. I'm
- 1:45Speaker 2: going to put you in a pumpkin and send you
- 1:48Speaker 2: on your way.
- 1:49Speaker 1: You know, at the wedding, I was like, oh, I
- 1:52Speaker 1: love love. This would be beautiful. The next day I
- 1:54Speaker 1: woke up, I said, mm-mm.
- 1:56Speaker 2: No, not for me. And that's why you're single. And
- 1:57Speaker 2: that's why you are Donnie Mitchell. Okay, let's jump into
- 2:00Speaker 2: our show. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 2:02Speaker 2: tea time. It is tea time. Big story at the
- 2:03Speaker 2: top of the show. Sir Matthew Perry spent seven million,
- 2:06Speaker 2: you heard that right, seven million trying to get sober
- 2:10Speaker 2: as his family revealed the emptiness that he couldn't quite
- 2:13Speaker 2: ever fill. Sir Matthew Perry spent a staggering seven million
- 2:18Speaker 2: trying to get sober. His family is revealing this in
- 2:21Speaker 2: a very emotional new Netflix documentary. For one, I'm surprised
- 2:25Speaker 2: that This is happening. And the reason it is happening
- 2:30Speaker 2: is the family wants some good to come out of
- 2:33Speaker 2: this tragedy. That's why they're telling their stories. They are
- 2:37Speaker 2: a very private family. They do not want to be
- 2:41Speaker 2: in show business. Matthew did that. That wasn't their world.
- 2:45Speaker 2: They did not walk red carpets with him. They did
- 2:48Speaker 2: not go to premieres with him. If my brother was famous,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I would be all over the Daily Mail. I would
- 2:53Speaker 2: tell everybody everything. They did not do that. So the
- 2:56Speaker 2: fact they're talking out is really, really big. This documentary
- 2:59Speaker 2: is meant to be amazing. They reveal that the late
- 3:03Speaker 2: Friends star, he went to rehab 15 times and over
- 3:06Speaker 2: 1,000 AA meetings during his decade-long battle with addiction. His sister, Mia,
- 3:13Speaker 2: said the following, quote, he spent $ 7 million trying to
- 3:17Speaker 2: get sober. That's how seriously he took it and he
- 3:21Speaker 2: took the disease. but he couldn't fix what was inside him.
- 3:27Speaker 2: He had a deep, they said, quote, feeling of emptiness
- 3:31Speaker 2: and loneliness that he couldn't quite fill. Heartbreaking, Donny, but really,
- 3:36Speaker 2: really informative. What do you think about the family doing
- 3:38Speaker 2: this documentary? Do you think Matthew would approve?
- 3:41Speaker 1: So here's the thing, because it's the same thing with
- 3:44Speaker 1: Hayden Panettiere. If you think about it, how she died
- 3:47Speaker 1: was tragic. It was a drug overdose. So now when
- 3:50Speaker 1: you think of Matthew Perry... Or you think of Hayden Panettiere.
- 3:54Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 3:55Speaker 2: Drug addict. Yeah, you do.
- 3:57Speaker 1: That's what you think. Automatically, you think drug addict.
- 3:59Speaker 2: That's part of the story.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I don't blame them for doing this because it is
- 4:02Speaker 1: a Matthew was more than just somebody who numbed himself
- 4:08Speaker 1: on ketamine. He wasn't a drug addict. He was numbing
- 4:11Speaker 1: his pain. We have to remember that.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Donny, that is so smart. I would not have thought
- 4:15Speaker 2: of that. That's why they're doing this. They don't need
- 4:18Speaker 2: the money. They're a very wealthy family and now they
- 4:20Speaker 2: have Matthew's money, too. He didn't have children.
- 4:24Speaker 1: He makes millions of dollars on Friends.
- 4:26Speaker 2: They get the royalties, too, from Friends. The money just
- 4:28Speaker 2: didn't stop with his death. The money's going to keep
- 4:30Speaker 2: rolling in for many, many years because Friends is still
- 4:33Speaker 2: watched around the world. That's why they're doing this. They
- 4:36Speaker 2: didn't want the period at the end of the sentence
- 4:39Speaker 2: to be addiction, drugs. They wanted to open up this
- 4:43Speaker 2: debate and say, yes, there was an awful dark aspect
- 4:47Speaker 2: to our beloved Friends. Matthew, our brother's life, and they
- 4:51Speaker 2: are not shying away from the truth here. This is
- 4:54Speaker 2: not like that Michael movie where they barely told the truth.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I love that movie. But they barely touched on anything. Really,
- 5:00Speaker 2: they didn't.
- 5:01Speaker 1: He wasn't hanging out with any boys.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Nobody at all. Just minding his business, playing with his chimpanzees.
- 5:06Speaker 2: They just went the other way. They're going to tell
- 5:08Speaker 2: the truth, but they want to make sure that this
- 5:12Speaker 2: was just part of his life, a really ugly, a
- 5:14Speaker 2: really serious part of his life. But there are other
- 5:17Speaker 2: aspects to Matthew. He was generous. He was funny. He
- 5:20Speaker 2: was a brother. He had family. He had people that
- 5:24Speaker 2: loved him. He loved people. And this dark demon inside him,
- 5:28Speaker 2: he tried to fight every single day. Seven million dollars
- 5:33Speaker 2: was how much money he paid trying to get sober.
- 5:36Speaker 2: He couldn't get there, which brings us to our poll
- 5:39Speaker 2: question of the day. Matthew Perry's family are doing a documentary.
- 5:43Speaker 2: It's a new show. It is on Netflix. It is
- 5:45Speaker 2: meant to be remarkable. I have not seen it yet,
- 5:48Speaker 2: but friends of mine who have seen excerpts from the
- 5:50Speaker 2: show say it's absolutely fantastic. Also, too, it's very difficult
- 5:55Speaker 2: to watch. They don't shy away from the truth. Too
- 5:58Speaker 2: many of these celebrities and their family members, they do
- 6:01Speaker 2: these documentaries and they only tell you Just what they
- 6:04Speaker 2: want you to hear. I think the best documentaries... I
- 6:07Speaker 2: watched one recently on Billy Joel. It was fantastic. It
- 6:10Speaker 2: was on HBO. And the reason it was so good
- 6:13Speaker 2: is it wasn't varnished. It told you everything. And Billy
- 6:16Speaker 2: had some real, real struggles. And Billy omitted them himself.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I think if you talk about your issues, you don't
- 6:22Speaker 2: have to be a star. You can be a regular
- 6:25Speaker 2: person like Donnie or me or everybody listening. Talking about
- 6:28Speaker 2: your issues makes you more human, more authentic. But... Do
- 6:32Speaker 2: you think his family should be doing this? It's a
- 6:35Speaker 2: big documentary. It is on Netflix. It is about Matthew Perry,
- 6:39Speaker 2: the totality of his life. Should his family be talking?
- 6:42Speaker 2: Yes or no? Go vote on our X page, our
- 6:45Speaker 2: Twitter page, at Naughty Nice Rob. Our Facebook page is
- 6:48Speaker 2: Naughty Yossip. And be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 6:52Speaker 2: hear your results. Hey, Donny Love, what are you working on?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Another sad case. Melania Judice, her legal team. So, Melania
- 7:02Speaker 1: kind of got into a little bit of a tiff
- 7:04Speaker 1: with her mother, Teresa, and her sister, Gia, at the airport.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It was kind of a mental breakdown, basically. And she
- 7:12Speaker 1: was fighting them, like actually physically, you know, hurting them.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And she was arrested, taken away. Well, her legal team
- 7:20Speaker 1: has gotten the case kind of pushed back two months
- 7:24Speaker 1: while she seeks help. So here's the thing, though. You've
- 7:27Speaker 1: got to think about it. Because you think the people
- 7:29Speaker 1: that she was hurting were her mom and her sister.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So at the end of the day, will her mom
- 7:34Speaker 1: and her sister go through with the charges? Who knows?
- 7:37Speaker 1: It depends on how bad this is because sometimes people
- 7:41Speaker 1: need a wake-up call.
- 7:42Speaker 2: They do.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And it's sad, but it's like, look, I don't want
- 7:46Speaker 1: to press charges against you. I don't want you to
- 7:48Speaker 1: have to go to jail or a hospital, mental hospital.
- 7:52Speaker 1: But the only way you can get help and know
- 7:55Speaker 1: that this is not okay is is if I do this.
- 7:57Speaker 1: So it'd be interesting to see what her family does.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Gosh, that's right. She's really, really struggling. I have a
- 8:02Speaker 2: new piece out today on Substack. Most of my stories
- 8:05Speaker 2: on Substack are about 200 words. If you pay for
- 8:08Speaker 2: a subscription, you get the whole story, which is about 200,
- 8:11Speaker 2: 250 words. If you are a free guest there, and
- 8:13Speaker 2: you're welcome to do that, you get about half the story.
- 8:16Speaker 2: So my Substack posts are normally quite short, 150 words,
- 8:20Speaker 2: if you're not a paid subscriber. Today, I have a
- 8:23Speaker 2: free story And it's about 800 words, and it is
- 8:26Speaker 2: about the house of horrors that Bravo has created. It
- 8:29Speaker 2: is inside details about life living with Teresa. And it's
- 8:33Speaker 2: not pointing fingers at Teresa as a mom. It's really
- 8:36Speaker 2: looking at this system, this 20-year experiment of reality TV.
- 8:41Speaker 2: And now we're seeing the fruits of that labor in
- 8:43Speaker 2: the children. And there's a lot of children who are
- 8:46Speaker 2: now really, really struggling. And so for 20 years... Teresa
- 8:51Speaker 2: wanted to be a star. She was rewarded for bad behavior.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Every aspect of her troubled life. She went to jail
- 8:59Speaker 2: for a year. The kids were with the husband. The
- 9:02Speaker 2: dad got deported. The kids were then with the mom.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Then the kids learned this lesson that the more outrageous
- 9:11Speaker 2: your private life is... the more airtime you get on TV.
- 9:15Speaker 2: So they grew up in a really twisted, dark house.
- 9:19Speaker 2: That's what my story is about today. Check it out
- 9:22Speaker 2: on Substack. OK, moving along. Nancy Guffrey, that's Savannah's mummy.
- 9:28Speaker 2: The investigation probe is still going on with apparently a
- 9:32Speaker 2: new possible ransom note. Let me explain. So investigators are
- 9:37Speaker 2: examining a new possible ransom note in the disappearance of
- 9:40Speaker 2: Savannah Guffrey's mummy, Nancy Guffrey. Nearly eight months. It's been
- 9:44Speaker 2: eight months since she vanished. The Pima County Sheriff's Department
- 9:50Speaker 2: said its joint FBI task force is working to determine
- 9:56Speaker 2: the note's credibility. It's not clear if they just got
- 9:58Speaker 2: this note, if it's a old note, if it's a
- 10:01Speaker 2: note that was overlooked initially. Let me remind everybody that Nancy,
- 10:04Speaker 2: 84 years old when she disappeared from her home on
- 10:08Speaker 2: February 1st. Earlier ransom notes have demanded millions in cryptocurrency.
- 10:15Speaker 2: One even claiming that the mum was, quote, safe but scared.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Another note, claiming she had died. Savannah and her siblings
- 10:23Speaker 2: continue to search for answers and have offered a $ 1
- 10:26Speaker 2: million reward for any information about their mother's disappearance. Donny,
- 10:32Speaker 2: this case, it is just so heartbreaking. It's also, too,
- 10:37Speaker 2: just a real insight into how difficult this all is.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I think we think that the world we live in
- 10:43Speaker 2: today With cameras everywhere, with cell phones everywhere, we solve
- 10:47Speaker 2: crimes immediately. Many, many crimes, unfortunately, still go unresolved. What
- 10:52Speaker 2: do you think?
- 10:53Speaker 1: The thing is, you just can't wrap your head around it.
- 10:55Speaker 1: It doesn't make sense.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Where is this woman? Now, look, I think even Nancy
- 11:02Speaker 1: and Savannah has come to the realization that Nancy's no
- 11:05Speaker 1: longer with us. Mm-hmm. I think even Savannah has come
- 11:09Speaker 1: out and said, you know, it's been so long. I
- 11:12Speaker 1: think the realization is, but we can find Osama bin
- 11:17Speaker 1: Laden hiding in a mountain, but we can't find Nancy Guthrie.
- 11:20Speaker 1: It just doesn't make sense. Something is happening here. Something
- 11:25Speaker 1: is off.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yes, something's off. We've been covering this story from the
- 11:29Speaker 2: day it broke eight months ago. Once again, eight months ago.
- 11:32Speaker 2: And there's still so, so many questions. Okay, moving along, Donna,
- 11:36Speaker 2: you have a new piece of information, news about a
- 11:40Speaker 2: GMA correspondent, Will Reeves. What's going on?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yes, he revealed that he has, well, he had testicular cancer.
- 11:50Speaker 1: And he goes, the cancer is in the rear view mirror.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So he had removed a couple nodules off of his testicles,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know, his balls. Let's call it what it is.
- 12:00Speaker 2: It is what it is.
- 12:01Speaker 1: But he's doing good because it's the thing. Men out
- 12:04Speaker 1: there get checked because testicular cancer and colon cancer, they're
- 12:09Speaker 1: on the rise in men and younger and younger and younger.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Because it used to be you only got checked around 50. Right.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Now you really need to start getting checked around 35.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Wow. Wow. It's really, really sad.
- 12:21Speaker 1: But he's beat it.
- 12:22Speaker 2: He's good.
- 12:22Speaker 1: He's in remission.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Great. 34 years old. He is the son of Superman.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Christopher Reeve was his dad. And let's remember, too, His
- 12:31Speaker 2: mommy passed away of cancer. So this must be absolutely terrifying.
- 12:35Speaker 2: On a personal note, when my novel first came out
- 12:38Speaker 2: in April, it started with a whisper. I went on
- 12:40Speaker 2: GMA and Will interviewed me. He was charming. Just a
- 12:46Speaker 2: really nice guy. We've done so many of these interviews, Donny,
- 12:49Speaker 2: on different TV shows. You know the ones that are
- 12:52Speaker 2: just doing their job. And that's fine. It is a job.
- 12:55Speaker 2: And you know the ones that make a little bit
- 12:56Speaker 2: of a special effort. I don't think he had read
- 12:58Speaker 2: the whole book, but he had read enough of it.
- 13:00Speaker 2: To ask me questions. Donny didn't even buy it. Oh,
- 13:03Speaker 2: he's so mean. So mean. He can afford to go
- 13:07Speaker 2: to a wedding in a vineyard, but not by his friends. Oh,
- 13:11Speaker 2: he's so mean. I can't talk about it anymore. It's
- 13:13Speaker 2: too upsetting. But Will Reeve did read at least part
- 13:16Speaker 2: of my book. He was charming. And I should say
- 13:18Speaker 2: it too. I don't want to be shallow because this
- 13:19Speaker 2: is quite a serious thing, but I've got to say it.
- 13:21Speaker 2: He's gorgeous. Donny, in person, he is.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Christopher Reeve.
- 13:27Speaker 2: That's his dad. He's Superman. I just couldn't stop staring
- 13:32Speaker 2: at him. Gorgeous. Glad you're doing better, my friend. Okay,
- 13:35Speaker 2: but quickly before we get a break, Meghan Markle. Oh, Meghan.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I do try to find good stories on her. I do.
- 13:43Speaker 2: But she can't help herself. So now she's been mocked
- 13:46Speaker 2: over some new hosting advice, which everybody is saying it's
- 13:49Speaker 2: rather obvious. So Meghan Markle has been roasted online after
- 13:53Speaker 2: sharing her latest hosting advice. Guess what it is, Donna?
- 13:56Speaker 2: Guess what Meghan advises you? prepare before your guests arrive.
- 14:02Speaker 2: While the Duchess of Sussex, her account, is advising her
- 14:06Speaker 2: followers to have as much prepared as possible before your
- 14:10Speaker 2: guests arrive. Critics have pounced on this. One commentator said,
- 14:15Speaker 2: today's revelation, preparing things before your guests arrive. Next week,
- 14:20Speaker 2: we're going to learn about putting food on plates. Now,
- 14:23Speaker 2: others have piled on lots of very, very funny comments.
- 14:26Speaker 2: One person has told everyone some great advice. Turn the
- 14:29Speaker 2: lights on. Another person said, you know, when your guests arrive,
- 14:33Speaker 2: open the door. Just outrageous, but it is very funny.
- 14:37Speaker 2: This is what's so interesting to me. Megan is trying
- 14:40Speaker 2: to build a brand, an empire in a genre, an
- 14:44Speaker 2: area that just is not the best fit for her.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Lean into what you're good at, my friends, and that's
- 14:51Speaker 2: where you will find happiness. That's where you will find success.
- 14:55Speaker 2: But Megan... Thank you for the chuckle. OK, we're going
- 14:58Speaker 2: to take a quick break and we will be right back.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Naughty But Nice Show. I'm your host,
- 15:04Speaker 2: Rob Shooter, with our dear friend Donnie Meacham, who's a
- 15:06Speaker 2: little bit under the weather today. So thank you so
- 15:09Speaker 2: much for being here. You look great, Donnie. I always
- 15:11Speaker 2: know when you don't feel your best or if you've
- 15:14Speaker 2: been out drinking because you wear a baseball cap because
- 15:17Speaker 2: you've got great hair. You should always show off your hair.
- 15:19Speaker 2: And when you're wearing your baseball cap, I always know
- 15:22Speaker 2: you're a bit blue. Is that right? Yeah, a bit sick.
- 15:25Speaker 1: A little sick.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Well, we'll perk you up. We've only got five minutes left.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Let's get to the polls. Last show we talked about
- 15:31Speaker 2: Hayden Panettaire's ex has an urgent legal move to protect
- 15:35Speaker 2: their daughter's assets. Is he making the right move? The
- 15:38Speaker 2: daughter's only 11 years old and there's some shady people
- 15:43Speaker 2: around Hayden, including, let's be honest, her mum and dad.
- 15:46Speaker 2: And so the ex, it was not her husband. This
- 15:48Speaker 2: is her ex-partner. They had a child together. Vladimir, I
- 15:51Speaker 2: think he's now in Ukraine. He was a boxer, big, tall,
- 15:53Speaker 2: handsome devil. He's got the kid. He has put in
- 15:56Speaker 2: an emergency legal motion to make sure that her inheritance
- 16:01Speaker 2: is still there. Is this the right move? 90% said yes, absolutely.
- 16:06Speaker 2: All this money should be protected for the daughter. Hey,
- 16:09Speaker 2: don't forget to vote on today's poll. Go to our
- 16:11Speaker 2: Twitter page. at Nutty Nice Rob. Her Facebook page is
- 16:16Speaker 2: Nutty Gossip. And be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 16:19Speaker 2: hear your results. And now it's time for our nicest
- 16:26Speaker 2: of the day.
- 16:26Speaker 1: So the MTV VMAs, the ratings were amazing. Fabulous.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Madonna.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Madonna's crazy speeches. But, Because what's funny, though, is everyone
- 16:41Speaker 1: was like, oh, the VMAs are over. They're done. No,
- 16:44Speaker 1: ratings soared 51% to 8.4 million viewers. That's huge. That's
- 16:50Speaker 1: more than Law & Order SVU gets. That's huge numbers.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I will say, it didn't hurt that Taylor Swift was there.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes. Don't you tell Madonna. Madonna, if you're listening.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Don't you tell Madonna.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Sorry, Madonna.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Don't you tell Madonna.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Half you, mostly Taylor Swift. Yes, 8.4 million views.
- 17:09Speaker 2: It's huge.
- 17:09Speaker 1: That's fabulous.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It's absolutely huge. It's nostalgic, too. I think what happened
- 17:14Speaker 2: this year is that they weren't just on MTV. They
- 17:17Speaker 2: were on CBS. CBS owns MTV. CBS skews a little older.
- 17:21Speaker 2: And so to go with Madonna and a George Michael
- 17:24Speaker 2: tribute and a Dolly Parton tribute, all perfectly deserving, it
- 17:28Speaker 2: just brought in a crowd like me and you. I
- 17:30Speaker 2: was enjoying this awards a little too much because somebody
- 17:33Speaker 2: of my age... Shouldn't be this into MTV. They would
- 17:37Speaker 2: be horrified when MTV first debuted decades ago, I think
- 17:40Speaker 2: 40 years ago. Young people watched. People in their 50s
- 17:44Speaker 2: did not watch. And now they do. So it was
- 17:47Speaker 2: great seeing them back up on stage. And I get it.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I get the criticism of Madonna. She's still my queen
- 17:53Speaker 2: to me. Taylor was fabulous. The Dolly Parton tribute. I
- 17:56Speaker 2: even like the George Michael tribute that has been trashed online.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So congratulations and nicest of the day. And now our
- 18:04Speaker 2: naughtiest of the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty. Our naughtiest of
- 18:08Speaker 2: the day is Madonna's family who are begging her to
- 18:11Speaker 2: slow down. Mind your business. So Madonna's family are reportedly
- 18:15Speaker 2: urging the 68-year-old star to slow down. One source tells
- 18:19Speaker 2: the Daily Mail, quote, She says she has more energy
- 18:22Speaker 2: than ever, but the family and friends are saying, take
- 18:25Speaker 2: it easy. Mind your business. Madonna is reportedly going to
- 18:28Speaker 2: hit the road with her new album, and the family
- 18:31Speaker 2: are not so sure she should. Now, in the family's defence,
- 18:35Speaker 2: Madonna had that horrifying, terrifying health crisis in 2023. She
- 18:39Speaker 2: was hospitalised. She was incubated. She was unconscious. So the
- 18:44Speaker 2: family is concerned, but... I think Madge knows best. She
- 18:49Speaker 2: knows who she is. She's been doing this for a really,
- 18:53Speaker 2: really long time. It's a much wider debate of who
- 18:55Speaker 2: gets to decide who is on the stage. If we
- 18:58Speaker 2: start putting age limits on people we love, we're all
- 19:01Speaker 2: going to get there eventually. So just be careful here
- 19:04Speaker 2: what advice you are giving. Madonna, carry on. The family,
- 19:09Speaker 2: the naughtiest of the day. And now it's time for
- 19:12Speaker 2: a moment of Rob. You get a Rob, you get
- 19:13Speaker 2: a Rob, you get a Rob. You get a Rob.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Thank you, darling. Stop looking for happiness. Happiness is not
- 19:19Speaker 2: something you find. It's something that you notice. There's a difference.
- 19:23Speaker 2: We spend so much of our time spending the next thing.
- 19:26Speaker 2: More money, more job, a better job, a different relationship,
- 19:30Speaker 2: a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a bigger life. And we're convinced
- 19:33Speaker 2: that happiness is waiting ahead of us. But that is
- 19:36Speaker 2: not how it works. Happiness is already here. It is.
- 19:40Speaker 2: It's in your morning coffee. It's with your friends you
- 19:42Speaker 2: hang out with. It's with that song that you love
- 19:44Speaker 2: to dance to. Stop postponing joy until your life is
- 19:48Speaker 2: perfect because your life is never going to end. to
- 19:50Speaker 2: be perfect. But today can still be wonderful. Happiness isn't
- 19:54Speaker 2: a destination. It's noticing what's good already, already around you.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I've become an expert at this. I find a little
- 20:05Speaker 2: bit of joy every single day. When I go for
- 20:07Speaker 2: a walk every day, I find a dog that's really
- 20:10Speaker 2: been adorable i find a couple that's kissing i listen
- 20:13Speaker 2: to a great song from the 80s normally madonna and
- 20:17Speaker 2: that's what makes me happy how are you at this
- 20:19Speaker 2: johnny because both of us are wildly ambitious both of
- 20:22Speaker 2: us want big careers both of us want a lot
- 20:24Speaker 2: of money but my happiness has never come from that
- 20:27Speaker 2: it's come from the small moments like today like right
- 20:30Speaker 2: now talking to you.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I've actually been really good about this lately is
- 20:34Speaker 1: just stopping. And I take two walks a day, two
- 20:38Speaker 1: mental health walks. And I just put on my playlists
- 20:41Speaker 1: in my ears and I just walk.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Love it.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And just slow down because when I slow down, I
- 20:46Speaker 1: just realize, oh, everything's fine.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Everything's fine. Be happy today, naughties. Hey, that is it
- 20:51Speaker 2: for today. Thank you so much for listening to the
- 20:53Speaker 2: Naughty But Nice with Rob and Donny Show. Happy Donny Show.
