- 0:00Speaker 1: The NFL Draft begins tomorrow night. You can listen to
- 0:03Speaker 1: the draft on ninety seven to three ESPN and of
- 0:07Speaker 1: course Jeff Mooscher here for Football at four. A lot
- 0:09Speaker 1: of draft conversation as we get ready for tomorrow or night,
- 0:12Speaker 1: we finally will know what Philadelphia might do. But Jeff Mocher,
- 0:17Speaker 1: will they be busy on draft night? Do you anticipate
- 0:20Speaker 1: Howie Roseman twenty three or do we think that there
- 0:25Speaker 1: will be a trade for an edge rusher and maybe
- 0:28Speaker 1: even an AJ Brown trade.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I don't know about an AJ Brown trade, you know,
- 0:34Speaker 2: unless somebody knocks their socks off because of the whole
- 0:36Speaker 2: June first thing.
- 0:36Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I do think at some point by the end of
- 0:41Speaker 2: day three there is a good chance that there will
- 0:46Speaker 2: be an Eagles trade, probably for a player that can
- 0:50Speaker 2: either fill an edge or a safety role. And I
- 0:52Speaker 2: think that there's a more than good chance that Howie
- 0:54Speaker 2: will be very actively dealing.
- 0:58Speaker 3: All throughout the draft.
- 0:59Speaker 2: And there's even a chance that Tannor McKee gets dealt
- 1:03Speaker 2: during the draft. So a lot of things that will
- 1:05Speaker 2: probably happen.
- 1:06Speaker 1: What do you think about it right now? The leverage
- 1:09Speaker 1: for Philadelphia with a J. Brown do they do they
- 1:13Speaker 1: kind of hold the keys here? How do you look
- 1:15Speaker 1: at that situation going into tomorrow night? Is it?
- 1:20Speaker 2: I don't know if it's changed or the situation is
- 1:22Speaker 2: any different than you know, the five hundred times we've we've.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Talked about it.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Well, I mean, ye, now Tomorrow's Draft night. Does Philadelphia
- 1:30Speaker 1: have leverage in this situation? Or they kind of flap
- 1:32Speaker 1: it in the wind?
- 1:33Speaker 3: Now, I don't know.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I don't know that they're looking for for, you know,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sure they would love for a team
- 1:39Speaker 2: to knock their socks off and give them something that
- 1:42Speaker 2: maybe they think they'll get more of than say, New
- 1:45Speaker 2: England would give. But you know, if they've got something
- 1:48Speaker 2: on to the table with New England for after June first,
- 1:51Speaker 2: then they've got it.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah. I guess in that case that gives them leverage
- 1:53Speaker 3: it because they have adult.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I guess I would ask it this way.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Then if Philadelphia ends the night and they have aj Brown,
- 2:01Speaker 1: which is anticipated right because of the But if they
- 2:04Speaker 1: get a deal that really, as you say, knocks their
- 2:08Speaker 1: socks off, are they willing to take the bigger dead
- 2:11Speaker 1: cap money hit.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I think that they would if they got a better
- 2:15Speaker 2: deal yeah, I think the cap hit has only been
- 2:17Speaker 2: a part of the issue. I think it how he
- 2:20Speaker 2: is showing that he will make a move that takes
- 2:22Speaker 2: on a big cap hit if he's all right with
- 2:25Speaker 2: the return of the trade.
- 2:26Speaker 1: You know.
- 2:26Speaker 3: The Carson Wentz one was an example.
- 2:29Speaker 2: At the time, he was the biggest cap hit I
- 2:31Speaker 2: believe dead cap hit in NFL history.
- 2:34Speaker 3: But he got a I live the other two that
- 2:37Speaker 3: was going to become one. He got a first round
- 2:39Speaker 3: pick out of it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, that deal. They did get a first round
- 2:43Speaker 1: pick in the Carson Wentz steel you know. But in
- 2:45Speaker 1: this situation, right, you know, it's one of those things
- 2:47Speaker 1: where you're kind of like, if let's say the Rams say,
- 2:51Speaker 1: you know what, We're going to give you a call back,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and this is what we're willing to give you. If
- 2:55Speaker 1: you take the dead cap hit, we'll give you more
- 2:59Speaker 1: today to behoove the Eagles to actually move him tomorrow
- 3:03Speaker 1: because you and I have talked a lot about are
- 3:05Speaker 1: you a better team if you trade aj Brown for
- 3:07Speaker 1: future first round picks?
- 3:10Speaker 4: Is this team better? And we're like, maybe not.
- 3:13Speaker 1: But if they give you picks in the draft tomorrow
- 3:16Speaker 1: night and you take the dead cap hit.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Are you willing to do that?
- 3:20Speaker 2: I mean, I think it only behooves them to do that,
- 3:22Speaker 2: to use your word, if if there are really excited
- 3:26Speaker 2: about what they're getting in return, you know what I'm saying,
- 3:29Speaker 2: if it gives them an opportunity to get more than
- 3:32Speaker 2: they would have gotten had they waited.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Right, and we don't know that that's on the table,
- 3:37Speaker 1: we think that it's still the Patriots. It sounds like
- 3:40Speaker 1: according to Adam Schefter, it will be the Patriots. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: could the Patriots make their big play tomorrow and say, hey,
- 3:46Speaker 1: you know what, we'll give you more tonight than we
- 3:49Speaker 1: will on June first.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I think that is still why Why would the Patriots
- 3:53Speaker 2: do that? I mean, unless they felt they needed to
- 3:55Speaker 2: get him in before.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Unless they felt that somebody else was called tomorrow night.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure though that perception will be created as
- 4:03Speaker 2: best as how he can.
- 4:05Speaker 1: They don't have anybody to report anything differently at this point,
- 4:08Speaker 1: it seems like, so we'll see. Obviously that will be
- 4:12Speaker 1: something on the table. Did Jonathan Grenard stuff possibly an
- 4:16Speaker 1: edge rusher pick fifty four and Jonathan Gernard before Jonathan Gernard,
- 4:25Speaker 1: would Eagles fans be happy with that move. Is that's
- 4:27Speaker 1: something that they should be exploring.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I would think that they'd be pretty happy with that.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I mean, he's certainly a really good pass rusher, starting
- 4:35Speaker 2: caliber pass rusher. Is he as good I'm a pass
- 4:39Speaker 2: rusher as Jill and Phillips? I don't know about that,
- 4:41Speaker 2: but he's pretty darn good. He's had some very good years.
- 4:43Speaker 2: He'd be on his third team.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yeah, back to back twelve and a half SAX seasons.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I mean with the Texans, right, so.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Which is more than which is more than Phillips has?
- 4:54Speaker 1: You know, you can make a case that he might
- 4:55Speaker 1: be a better pass rusher, not as good as a
- 4:58Speaker 1: run stuffer.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's yes, you can make a bit he's got
- 5:02Speaker 2: He's got more speed around the edges for sure.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I mean he's he's a good player.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I don't think he's been as consistent throughout his career
- 5:08Speaker 2: as as Phillips, but he's been pretty darn good. Both
- 5:11Speaker 2: have had injury problems, yes, yeah, yeah, more so more
- 5:14Speaker 2: so Phillips than him. But yeah, I think Grenard's a
- 5:17Speaker 2: good player and worth the second round pick. And uh,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I think especially with the two three round pick, two
- 5:23Speaker 2: third round picks the Eagles have with some maneuverability there, sure, all.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Right, Jeff Boscher Inside the Birds podcast tomorrow night, the
- 5:32Speaker 1: night you guys did your annual mock draft. Over at
- 5:36Speaker 1: Inside the Birds dot com, you can check out every
- 5:39Speaker 1: pick that they made. And Andrew to Checko made the
- 5:42Speaker 1: pick for the Eagles at pick number twenty three, Max
- 5:46Speaker 1: iron Acker from Arizona State, the offensive lineman, to which
- 5:50Speaker 1: you said, really no debate here. There's not a lot
- 5:53Speaker 1: of talk about no discussion, is what Adams said as well.
- 5:57Speaker 1: You know, most people look at offensive line as the
- 6:02Speaker 1: spot that the Philadelphia Eagles definitively need. But I do
- 6:05Speaker 1: find it gonna be interesting if a wide receiver's on
- 6:07Speaker 1: the board at that spot, or maybe even Sadik. Do
- 6:11Speaker 1: you take the skill player or do you feel better
- 6:13Speaker 1: with an offensive lineman?
- 6:15Speaker 2: You take the highest rated player on your board, you know,
- 6:18Speaker 2: And so you know, I can't tell you who that
- 6:20Speaker 2: would be because I don't know who's gonna be there.
- 6:23Speaker 2: But I suspect just how I think the board will fall,
- 6:26Speaker 2: that an offensive lineman, be at Blake Miller or Ian
- 6:31Speaker 2: Akor or Caden Proctor or Monroe Freeling will be there
- 6:35Speaker 2: I also suspect because of because there's this is a
- 6:39Speaker 2: high upside offensive tackle class, but yet still one that
- 6:42Speaker 2: needs some development. And there's really so like Malinoa from
- 6:47Speaker 2: Miami will probably go off the first and then there's
- 6:51Speaker 2: gonna be like teams that need offensive tackle right and
- 6:55Speaker 2: I think they'll be looking to move up. And I
- 6:57Speaker 2: don't think that they want all these offensive tackles to
- 6:59Speaker 2: go eighteen to twenty five.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I think teams know.
- 7:02Speaker 2: That they're gonna go get swallowed up quickly, so they're
- 7:04Speaker 2: gonna have to jump up in that fifteen to twenty
- 7:07Speaker 2: range to get them.
- 7:08Speaker 3: So it'll be interesting to see if the Eagles.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Feel like they're going to need to jump up a
- 7:13Speaker 2: few spots to get a guy that they might really like.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I think Sadiq you guys have going Andrew put him
- 7:20Speaker 1: at number nineteen to the Carolina Panthers. If he's still
- 7:23Speaker 1: on the board at nineteen, does Hollie Roseman get active?
- 7:27Speaker 4: There is that a player you would trade up for?
- 7:31Speaker 4: I would if you let me.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Let me let me throw this into the mix too,
- 7:35Speaker 1: if you know you're trading aj Brown, does Sidiq become
- 7:39Speaker 1: a player that you kind of target because you're looking
- 7:42Speaker 1: for another weapon in the offense. Maybe that's not necessarily
- 7:45Speaker 1: the same, you know, outside receiver, but another big, physical
- 7:50Speaker 1: type of pass catcher.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I mean it would surprise me, Mike, And that's no
- 7:54Speaker 2: knock on Sadik.
- 7:55Speaker 3: I think he's worth that kind of pick.
- 7:57Speaker 2: He might be one of the top three or four
- 8:00Speaker 2: cleanest prospects in the entire draft, if you're just talking
- 8:03Speaker 2: taking out positional value out of it. I know that
- 8:07Speaker 2: the Eagle surprise is last year myself included taking an
- 8:10Speaker 2: off ball linebacker. But you started to see that they've
- 8:13Speaker 2: changed their defense over the last five to six to
- 8:16Speaker 2: seven years. You know, they play a three to four front,
- 8:18Speaker 2: a five to two front now, So they'll they'll draft
- 8:20Speaker 2: a nose tackle like Jordan Davis, and they'll obviously get
- 8:25Speaker 2: back to drafting corner and they'll draft an off ball
- 8:27Speaker 2: linebacker because that's important. I don't know that they're ready
- 8:32Speaker 2: to say that a tight end is a position that
- 8:36Speaker 2: they're willing to trade up in the first round for now.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm not saying, you know, if he's there at twenty three, magically,
- 8:43Speaker 2: then you really have to consider it. But I don't
- 8:46Speaker 2: know if the Eagles are the team that's going to
- 8:48Speaker 2: give up extra draft stock to move up to get him.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I know that the wide receiver class interested to see,
- 8:58Speaker 1: you know, I'm looking through your mock. I don't know
- 9:01Speaker 1: that I see Denzel Boston going in this first round,
- 9:05Speaker 1: which I think would probably be interesting if he was
- 9:08Speaker 1: there at twenty three, Boston, would he be a guy
- 9:10Speaker 1: that they would consider, because obviously they probably think they're
- 9:15Speaker 1: going to need a wide receiver, and you have a
- 9:17Speaker 1: lot of receivers going ahead of that. But after Philadelphia
- 9:19Speaker 1: picks at number twenty three, Now that doesn't necessarily mean
- 9:24Speaker 1: that you don't think that just because you did make
- 9:26Speaker 1: all the picks. I don't see oh Omar Cooper going
- 9:29Speaker 1: at twenty seven and Casey Concepcion going at thirty, but
- 9:34Speaker 1: no Boston in this pick. I would think if Boston
- 9:36Speaker 1: was on the board at twenty three, he would be
- 9:38Speaker 1: a very intriguing guy to think about.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, just so you know, like I pay
- 9:43Speaker 2: very very little attention to all the streams and streams
- 9:47Speaker 2: of mock drafts out there, so I don't know what's
- 9:49Speaker 2: in people's heads about where certain guys should go.
- 9:53Speaker 3: But among the people I spoke to. You know.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I did it on Philly Voice the other day, kind
- 9:58Speaker 2: of a scouts take sizing up the draft, talk to
- 10:01Speaker 2: a bunch of people in personnel around the league on
- 10:04Speaker 2: what they feel. And when I was talking wide receiver
- 10:07Speaker 2: with a lot of folks, the names that came up
- 10:10Speaker 2: most of guys that they liked, in in order were
- 10:13Speaker 2: obviously Tyson and Tate, Conception, Cooper Junior.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Am I missing anybody in there? And I didn't.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I didn't get the Denzel Boston name as a first
- 10:24Speaker 2: rounder or a top thirty five forty guys, you know.
- 10:27Speaker 3: So I'm not saying he won't, he can't.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I mean, it's all beauty in the eye of the beholder,
- 10:32Speaker 2: but he is not someone that the people I spoke
- 10:36Speaker 2: with really viewed as a first round kind of guy.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Right and listen, everybody, As you mentioned beauty in the
- 10:43Speaker 1: eye of beholder. I know he's a guy that Josh
- 10:45Speaker 1: is a big fan of Boston. We've seen him go
- 10:48Speaker 1: in mock drafts right around there. I just would be
- 10:50Speaker 1: interested to see if Philadelphia would be intrigued to take
- 10:54Speaker 1: a wide receiver, and obviously if they took.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Others David Boston, I believe by the way, former NFL
- 10:59Speaker 2: or receiver for the Cardinals.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Yes, yes, And I would imagine if they took a
- 11:05Speaker 1: wide receiver at pick twenty three, the speculation would probably
- 11:08Speaker 1: be over that AJ would be gone, correct.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I would imagine I think they will take anything in
- 11:15Speaker 2: the top fifty. It will probably be over, but go ahead, Yeah.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I mean, and then you have you know, in that
- 11:20Speaker 1: second round fifty four. You're right, they do have a
- 11:23Speaker 1: pick at fifty four, and then they have two picks
- 11:25Speaker 1: in the third round which they could.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Get some stuff accomplishing.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Adam yesterday gave us a lot of things that he
- 11:30Speaker 1: would like to see accomplished in this draft. Do you
- 11:33Speaker 1: have a blueprint that you would like to see accomplished
- 11:37Speaker 1: for this team?
- 11:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:39Speaker 2: They obviously need I mean, this goes without saying. I
- 11:42Speaker 2: mean that they need to address the offense and the
- 11:44Speaker 2: offensive line. You know, they need a successor for Lane Johnson.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I really do believe that they need a tight end
- 11:49Speaker 2: of the future. They need they need a pro ready
- 11:54Speaker 2: interior offensive lineman who can play guard because their guard
- 11:58Speaker 2: situation is shaky right now.
- 12:00Speaker 4: I have them.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I would not be surprised at all of round two
- 12:03Speaker 2: if they even double dip went ot and then og
- 12:06Speaker 2: in round two.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I did an Eagles only mock draft.
- 12:08Speaker 2: On Philly Voice today and had them trading Tanner McKee
- 12:13Speaker 2: to the Jets to pick up an extra second round
- 12:15Speaker 2: pick and then using that.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Oh so getting this, I was gonna say, what you
- 12:17Speaker 1: get in return? What do you get in return for
- 12:19Speaker 1: Tanner McKee?
- 12:20Speaker 3: I picked Rutledge out of Georgia Tech.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Really good athletic, almost built like a tackle, but definitely
- 12:27Speaker 2: a guard type guy out of Georgia Tech who can
- 12:30Speaker 2: step in right away if need be. So that's what
- 12:34Speaker 2: I just think that they absolutely need to accomplish that
- 12:37Speaker 2: on offense and on defense, you know, or just overall
- 12:42Speaker 2: you got to I think that they have to make
- 12:43Speaker 2: some trades to come out of this draft with either
- 12:46Speaker 2: a starting caliber edge or safety.
- 12:48Speaker 3: If you don't, then now it's down to your trade
- 12:51Speaker 3: market or your late May June free agent market. I
- 12:55Speaker 3: don't know how how bountiful that's going to be.
- 12:58Speaker 1: No, And one of the things you know you're talking about,
- 13:01Speaker 1: if you trade Tanner McKee on a draft night, do
- 13:05Speaker 1: you look at drafting a quarterback? Is that something that's
- 13:08Speaker 1: on the agenda list. Then even if they don't, do
- 13:11Speaker 1: you think a quarterback is in play?
- 13:13Speaker 3: Well, glad you asked. In my mock draft on Philly Voice.
- 13:16Speaker 2: After they trade McKee, I have them packaging a fourth
- 13:19Speaker 2: and a fifth to move up for the first pick
- 13:22Speaker 2: in the fourth round.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Now think about that.
- 13:24Speaker 2: That's an interesting pick, right, And this is where the
- 13:27Speaker 2: Eagles many years ago traded up and got Matt Barkley.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Because as how we would say, you know, you kind
- 13:34Speaker 2: of you're done with day one and day two.
- 13:35Speaker 3: You take a long time, you process it.
- 13:37Speaker 2: You look at the board and you'll see a lot
- 13:40Speaker 2: of moves made to the top of the fourth round
- 13:42Speaker 2: because you've got those teams kind of mentally resetting and
- 13:45Speaker 2: figuring out how the board falls. So I had them
- 13:47Speaker 2: trading up with the Titans top of the fourth round
- 13:50Speaker 2: to take Garrett Nussmyer.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I was gonna just say, if they take Nussmyer, that
- 13:55Speaker 1: will start a lot of discussion because nus Meyer is
- 13:57Speaker 1: one of them guys that had like first you know,
- 13:59Speaker 1: he can back to LSU. If he would have left
- 14:02Speaker 1: last year, he might have been a first round pick.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Might have Yeah, I mean he's six foot one, So
- 14:08Speaker 2: I think that that lack of ideal height for a quarterback.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Might always have questioned how how high a ceiling as
- 14:14Speaker 2: a draft pick would go, but there's no question that
- 14:17Speaker 2: two years ago he drove the ball with authority. He
- 14:21Speaker 2: was a gun slinger, a little bit reckless sometimes but
- 14:24Speaker 2: just confident, made every throw look great. And then last
- 14:27Speaker 2: year he dealt with an abdominal injury that completely altered
- 14:31Speaker 2: his mechanics and how he played the game.
- 14:34Speaker 3: And he's been very open about that.
- 14:36Speaker 2: He just couldn't make the kind of throws because of
- 14:39Speaker 2: this ab injury that he was normally make, and he
- 14:41Speaker 2: didn't have a good year. And because of that, he's
- 14:44Speaker 2: now looking at a day late, day two or day
- 14:46Speaker 2: to three kind of pick who knows where he's gonna go.
- 14:49Speaker 3: And it would be a great value right then, to
- 14:52Speaker 3: get that kind of guy at the top of the
- 14:53Speaker 3: fourth round.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Well, that would certainly stir a lot of conversation, right,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I mean the whole.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I think any quarter I think, to be honest with you,
- 15:00Speaker 2: if they take a quarterback anywhere, yeah, oh I agree,
- 15:03Speaker 2: round or higher, it's gonna stir a conversation.
- 15:05Speaker 1: What do you make of Jalen Hurts posting pictures of
- 15:09Speaker 1: him working out with the fired former quarterback coach Scott Loeffler.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Is that a message like, hey, you try to get
- 15:18Speaker 1: your messages out, here's my message.
- 15:20Speaker 4: You shouldn't have fired my guy.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I didn't see that, but I don't make anything of it,
- 15:26Speaker 3: not to make anything of anybody's social.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Media, I agree.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm usually not that like I don't like to watch
- 15:31Speaker 1: the podcast and listen to all that stuff. But it's like,
- 15:34Speaker 1: it is kind of interesting that he's like going out
- 15:36Speaker 1: of his way to post pictures of him working with
- 15:39Speaker 1: the quarterback coach that got fired.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Like, yes, that certainly is interest, especially since he's not
- 15:44Speaker 2: a guy who, to my knowledge, is real active on
- 15:47Speaker 2: social media.
- 15:48Speaker 4: That's what I said.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I don't ever take I have never really noticed it.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Whether he's posted like they're at OTAs, I guess is
- 15:53Speaker 1: that yeah, yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 2: It started the what do you call it, the phase
- 15:57Speaker 2: one of the off season program at start.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Yeah, so like leading up to that, I guess he's
- 16:02Speaker 1: posting pictures and he's working with Scott Loffler, the the
- 16:06Speaker 1: you know fire, he's not here anymore, he doesn't have
- 16:08Speaker 1: a job, so you know, I found that to be
- 16:11Speaker 1: kind of interesting, Like, oh yeah, what's the messaging here.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'm not happy with what happened or you guys have
- 16:18Speaker 1: given me so many different coaches. I need to go
- 16:20Speaker 1: with somebody that I feel comfortable with.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Right, it's a weird, you know, I'm not going to
- 16:25Speaker 2: instantly react without at least looking into something.
- 16:29Speaker 4: All right, Well, I'll tell you what.
- 16:30Speaker 1: All right, let me I know you didn't make the
- 16:33Speaker 1: pick in the Inside the Birds mock draft for the Eagles.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Andrew Dechecko made that pick. What is your official on
- 16:41Speaker 1: record selection?
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you know, we did a little differently this year.
- 16:44Speaker 2: We did have Andrew kind of make the pick, but
- 16:46Speaker 2: like we were more committee this year than as you
- 16:50Speaker 2: than usual, and you know, you know it came down
- 16:54Speaker 2: to I think Caden Proctor and Max heiniak Or and.
- 16:59Speaker 4: Your going offensive lot.
- 17:00Speaker 3: You think, yeah, we were going offensive line.
- 17:02Speaker 2: We're thinking that Proctor has really played the left tackle
- 17:05Speaker 2: all throughout his career.
- 17:06Speaker 3: The he does not. I don't think he has right
- 17:07Speaker 3: tackle experience.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I Anchor is a right tackle, and he Anchor is
- 17:12Speaker 2: a guy who three years from now could be the
- 17:14Speaker 2: cream of the crowd. I mean his athleticism, Mike is
- 17:17Speaker 2: so so good and he has a year to sit
- 17:19Speaker 2: behind Lane Johnson. You know, the Eagles do always think
- 17:22Speaker 2: two to three to four years down the road. Proctor
- 17:25Speaker 2: has struggled with his conditioning a little bit, so I mean, honestly,
- 17:28Speaker 2: it's a coin flavor.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Could have gone either way.
- 17:30Speaker 2: We were about to take Procter like and then all
- 17:32Speaker 2: of a sudden we all huddled and thought about it
- 17:35Speaker 2: like you could hear it on the pod as we
- 17:37Speaker 2: of course, and decide to go with the guy who's
- 17:41Speaker 2: even more of a freakish athlete.
- 17:42Speaker 4: I love.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it was fun, good stuff, all right, Jeff Bocher,
- 17:46Speaker 1: everybody the draft tomorrow night on ninety seven to three ESPN.
- 17:50Speaker 1: We will be live at the balcony bar. What is
- 17:52Speaker 1: inside the birds got in store for everybody?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Oh at after round one, after day two we always
- 17:57Speaker 2: do recaps. Well, will get a Greg Cosel on with
- 18:02Speaker 2: us at some point he'll do a tape breakdown. Andrew
- 18:04Speaker 2: de Checo will be a big part of our Day
- 18:06Speaker 2: three coverage as well, because he is a master of
- 18:10Speaker 2: knowing all the D three prospects that nobody's ever heard of.
- 18:14Speaker 2: So that's why he's a value on that day. And yeah,
- 18:18Speaker 2: lots lots of coverage on the Inside the Birds platform.
- 18:20Speaker 1: All right, er, I don't see that happening. AJ Brown
- 18:23Speaker 1: in a second round pick for Max Crosby in a
- 18:25Speaker 1: third that was that that's not happening.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that's definitely not I think the Eagles are. No,
- 18:31Speaker 3: they're not. They're not doing that.
- 18:33Speaker 1: All right, Well, check out all the coverage at Inside
- 18:35Speaker 1: the Birds dot com. Jeff Boscher, everybody from the Inside
- 18:37Speaker 1: the Birds podcast. Thanks man, see you.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Take care.
