- 0:44Speaker 6: the beautiful Wellington region. And we had a ball, didn't we.
- 0:48Speaker 6: There With a little bit of beer, a little bit
- 0:49Speaker 6: of live show, a little bit of a few beers responsibly,
- 0:53Speaker 6: get a bit of stay up too late, a little
- 0:54Speaker 6: bit of stay up too late again, a little bit
- 0:56Speaker 6: of don't feel very good today, yeah, a little bit
- 0:58Speaker 6: of feel better tomorrow, a little bit of let's just
- 1:01Speaker 6: get through the show, A little bit of it we'll
- 1:02Speaker 6: be right, a little bit of backbone.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Speaking of which, Kezy, I got to shut up and
- 1:06Speaker 5: get on with it.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you're a little bit under the weather today. Little
- 1:09Speaker 3: bit swimmers here? Wow, wow, some kind of concoction of
- 1:14Speaker 3: swimmers here.
- 1:15Speaker 7: I have an earache.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Now you've got an air and I think I know
- 1:17Speaker 3: where it's come from.
- 1:20Speaker 5: How are you going, mate? You're struggling a bit today,
- 1:22Speaker 5: I understand.
- 1:23Speaker 4: To be honest, this is the second time I've gone
- 1:25Speaker 4: to a live show and come away with a sickness. Yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 4: and I think if Pugs, because Pugs unfortunately he's not
- 1:31Speaker 4: here the next couple of days. He's away with family.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Unfortunately he had a sad thing happened in his family.
- 1:37Speaker 4: But I think if he was here, I might not
- 1:39Speaker 4: have come in today. It would have been my first
- 1:41Speaker 4: sick day from the big show.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:43Speaker 4: But when you've got something like that on the line,
- 1:46Speaker 4: you never want to give it up.
- 1:47Speaker 6: No, it's true, you don't.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know, and you know I'll just get
- 1:50Speaker 4: drugged up coming here and fick.
- 1:51Speaker 7: You guys do the show good as gold?
- 1:53Speaker 5: Well, this is all I mean. I love live shows.
- 1:57Speaker 3: My only reluctance in those situations is having to sort
- 2:00Speaker 3: of mixed with the filth. Yeah, it's like sending your
- 2:03Speaker 3: kids to daycare, you know, and there's all the other
- 2:06Speaker 3: kids there with their filthy diseases, just spreading it around.
- 2:10Speaker 3: There's always a high percentage and a high chance of
- 2:13Speaker 3: contracting something when you're doing live show.
- 2:16Speaker 6: Exactly right, and just like it a at a day
- 2:18Speaker 6: here you have, you know, a bunch of little backbones
- 2:22Speaker 6: with all the sort of common sense of a three
- 2:24Speaker 6: year old coming up and spitting in your face because
- 2:27Speaker 6: they're so steamed.
- 2:28Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, I said I was coming across anyway.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, hey, but I'll tell you what it was
- 2:32Speaker 3: great being down in Wally, Absolute pleasure and nice to
- 2:36Speaker 3: do it in the pub this star.
- 2:38Speaker 5: It was.
- 2:39Speaker 7: It was a bloody and experience. We're definitely going to
- 2:41Speaker 7: do it again.
- 2:41Speaker 4: And the good news is Fellas we've come back and
- 2:44Speaker 4: we are kicking off of course the first day of
- 2:47Speaker 4: the nineties countdown't we rip into that?
- 2:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I think we're up to the four oh seven.
- 2:51Speaker 8: We've got to smell the nineties.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Now then nothing but nineties countdown.
- 2:55Speaker 9: On Hoderk thanks to super Liquor.
- 2:57Speaker 7: Celebrating thirty years of chairs.
- 3:02Speaker 4: That's right, four oh seven, an he guesses, as to
- 3:04Speaker 4: which bandit is there, Fellers, Fellas.
- 3:07Speaker 7: I don't know, man, I mean it's written on the
- 3:09Speaker 7: screen that you get.
- 3:10Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I don't want to give it away.
- 3:11Speaker 6: Okay, you know that's a nice surprise when the opening buzzy.
- 3:15Speaker 4: What about you do you want to no idea mane? Okay,
- 3:17Speaker 4: here we go and nothing That nineties.
- 3:19Speaker 9: Countdown on Radio Hurdarchy four hundred and seven Pearl Jam
- 3:24Speaker 9: Nothing Man.
- 3:25Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hod.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Ichy Man Hayden. There in the nineties Countdown coming in
- 3:32Speaker 3: at a whopping.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Four oh six. That's a hit. That's a hit Man
- 3:35Speaker 5: hit written all over it.
- 3:37Speaker 7: Don't forget the nothing but nineties countdowns all things to mates.
- 3:39Speaker 7: It's super Liquor. They are celebrating their thirtieth birthday. They
- 3:43Speaker 7: have heaps of our thirtieth birthday deals. Plus you can
- 3:46Speaker 7: enter win great prizes at your local super liquor as well.
- 3:49Speaker 5: So good.
- 3:50Speaker 3: So we were down in Weally on Thursday night. It
- 3:54Speaker 3: was fantastic going down there. It was fantastic being a
- 3:57Speaker 3: parrot die. What a great pub that is beautiful Lyle Bay.
- 4:02Speaker 3: There met a lot of the backbones.
- 4:04Speaker 7: My favorite thing about that pub.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Was that the most responsibly steamed person there was the
- 4:09Speaker 4: guy who runs the pub, right, and so it was
- 4:12Speaker 4: kind of like, you know, he was the one setting
- 4:14Speaker 4: the tone, which I quite liked. A glass smashed and
- 4:18Speaker 4: everyone the first one of the whole night, and it
- 4:20Speaker 4: was the guy who just interviewed about running the pub's right.
- 4:25Speaker 4: So I was like, yes, sweet as man, every I
- 4:26Speaker 4: can do whatever they want.
- 4:27Speaker 7: At the end of that.
- 4:29Speaker 3: On the Friday, there was a bit of fragility in
- 4:31Speaker 3: the team and Mogi on the Friday Show, I recall
- 4:35Speaker 3: you saying something along the lines of I don't know
- 4:38Speaker 3: whether I get back on the horse or not, because
- 4:40Speaker 3: you were staying down there for the weekend and you
- 4:44Speaker 3: you were uncertain how to progress.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right.
- 4:46Speaker 6: I wasn't sure whether I should go back to my
- 4:48Speaker 6: hotel room just for a bit of a power net
- 4:50Speaker 6: before heading out that evening, because I was going to
- 4:53Speaker 6: hang out with my sister or sister in law, but
- 4:55Speaker 6: sister and her partner. So I ended up just thinking, Bugert,
- 4:58Speaker 6: you know, I'll go around.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I will.
- 5:00Speaker 6: I'll just have a few there and then I can
- 5:03Speaker 6: be done by ten because I have a pound net
- 5:05Speaker 6: that I'm going to have more energy.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Yes, you see what I'm saying. I do.
- 5:08Speaker 6: So I went around there and there ended up being
- 5:10Speaker 6: quite a few people around there, as it turned out,
- 5:12Speaker 6: but regardless, I was still intent on sticking to my plan.
- 5:16Speaker 6: I rang a mate and I was meant to catch
- 5:18Speaker 6: up with him on the way home, and then.
- 5:20Speaker 5: He said, oh, look mate, I got it.
- 5:22Speaker 6: I've got to take the kids to football in the morning.
- 5:24Speaker 6: I'm just going to flag it.
- 5:25Speaker 5: And I was like, right.
- 5:26Speaker 6: So by that stage was about nine point thirty. The
- 5:28Speaker 6: next time I looked at my watch, that was five.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Thirty in the morning. Yet, wait, what.
- 5:35Speaker 6: My watch is broken? Or what the guts is? Well,
- 5:38Speaker 6: but time flies when you're responsibly having one or just
- 5:42Speaker 6: two drinks.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Yes, so when your watch was maybe broken, Yeah, did
- 5:46Speaker 4: you notice it was starting to get light again after
- 5:48Speaker 4: being dark?
- 5:48Speaker 6: Now it still wasn't light thing.
- 5:51Speaker 5: I called it.
- 5:51Speaker 6: I said, I'm done. A couple of people certain least
- 5:54Speaker 6: she called it. At five there a couple of people
- 5:57Speaker 6: with me. They said, oh no, well, we can still
- 5:59Speaker 6: stay out, and so they stayed up. They went for
- 6:02Speaker 6: a walk down to the beach, scared some local children,
- 6:05Speaker 6: and then they got to be at about nine thirty
- 6:07Speaker 6: or ten. So it could have been it could have
- 6:09Speaker 6: been worse. Yes, And now the next day I was
- 6:10Speaker 6: meant to head up to Capiti to go and see
- 6:13Speaker 6: another that day. On that day yeah, yeah, so that
- 6:17Speaker 6: well after my sleep is the next day. Yeah, I
- 6:20Speaker 6: was meant to go up and see him for the night.
- 6:23Speaker 6: And I had to I had to. Yeah, I had
- 6:26Speaker 6: to say no. Yes, I had say no to that
- 6:28Speaker 6: one because I thought that is one hundred percent. I
- 6:31Speaker 6: went three thirty on the Thursday night, three thirty am.
- 6:34Speaker 6: I got to be at five thirty am on what
- 6:37Speaker 6: was effectively the Saturday, and then if I went to
- 6:40Speaker 6: my MAT's place, that would have been six or seven am,
- 6:42Speaker 6: and today it would be feeling like kezy. So I
- 6:45Speaker 6: feel like I did the right thing.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Yeah, because you got back on the horse. But at
- 6:49Speaker 4: some point you're flogging a dead horse.
- 6:51Speaker 6: I was absolute, Well, it's amazing how much horse, how
- 6:54Speaker 6: much life that horse has got in it. Yes, it
- 6:57Speaker 6: is an old horse man, but it knows what to
- 6:59Speaker 6: do when it gets in the home stretch and theytes
- 7:00Speaker 6: go like a bastard. Yeah, it's done it a million times.
- 7:04Speaker 6: It smells the finish line and it just absolutely goes
- 7:07Speaker 6: for it. Before you know, everybody's cheering for you and
- 7:09Speaker 6: you're just into it's yes, But once it crosses a
- 7:13Speaker 6: finish line, yeah, it dies on his house pretty quick.
- 7:15Speaker 6: But had a fantastic weekend, beautiful sunny day on Saturday
- 7:19Speaker 6: and Sunday now Saturday to recover. I did not get
- 7:22Speaker 6: off the couch. Did not get off the couch.
- 7:24Speaker 7: And we at a hotel.
- 7:26Speaker 5: No I went.
- 7:26Speaker 6: I stayed round at my sister's joinal En. I had
- 7:28Speaker 6: to go and pick up my gear. I had to
- 7:31Speaker 6: go and pack my suitcases out of the hotel that
- 7:33Speaker 6: I had not stayed in and then take it round
- 7:35Speaker 6: to my sister in law's place. And then I just
- 7:37Speaker 6: stayed on the couch all day underneath a blanket, just
- 7:40Speaker 6: absolutely trawling the socials, and then went to better and
- 7:45Speaker 6: then the next day got up and watched all the
- 7:47Speaker 6: rugby and all that sort of carry on.
- 7:48Speaker 5: So yeah, it was I had.
- 7:49Speaker 6: A ripper of a time, and I was pretty proud
- 7:51Speaker 6: of myself man for not going through nights in a row.
- 7:53Speaker 3: What a backbone, Yeah, massive backbone, man, he's restrained.
- 8:00Speaker 7: Yeah yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 4: But nonetheless, Willington, we did have a fantastic time coming
- 8:04Speaker 4: down visiting you guys three four eight three. Where should
- 8:07Speaker 4: we take the big Show on the road next? If
- 8:09Speaker 4: you're keen to have us, feel free to sent through
- 8:11Speaker 4: a pub location too, your local and whatever town it
- 8:14Speaker 4: may be, and every text on three four eight three
- 8:16Speaker 4: in the draw for a fifty reburg about you.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Good stuff mate. Let's get back to the Countdown.
- 8:20Speaker 9: Four h five number four hundred and five Stone Temple
- 8:24Speaker 9: Pilot's Big Bang Baby.
- 8:28Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 8:31Speaker 7: Tune in week days at four on Radio hold Ache.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Number four hundred and four there on the nineties Countdown.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Headlike hole, this beautiful Monday afternoon, so beautiful in fact,
- 8:40Speaker 3: that Key Mogi's had to lower the blinds. Yeah, so
- 8:43Speaker 3: he doesn't get blinded by the glorious sun.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yeah, hey, fellers, Friday afternoon. So we did the big
- 8:51Speaker 4: show down in Welly's there we finished up and then
- 8:53Speaker 4: Jason I were the last flight of the night out
- 8:55Speaker 4: of Wellington.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Yeah, we were stoked about that.
- 8:57Speaker 4: For whatever reason it might be, it just meant that
- 9:00Speaker 4: we had to spend about three hours at the airport,
- 9:02Speaker 4: which is fine and lucky. One of us has a
- 9:06Speaker 4: Quardo membership, which one of us is it.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Jace o game of two halves, money bags keysy.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Know what it is is just smart use ab Ouur airpoints.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Visa gives me a quarter membership every single year, which
- 9:21Speaker 4: is great.
- 9:22Speaker 7: We're using the airpoints yet and so that's great.
- 9:26Speaker 4: And it makes you get to the airport nice and
- 9:27Speaker 4: early because you want to have a feed. You have
- 9:29Speaker 4: a few free beers's and things like that. It also
- 9:31Speaker 4: lets you swipe in a guest. And Jason has been
- 9:34Speaker 4: swiped in by you or myself Mogi ten times.
- 9:38Speaker 7: Ye never says thank you. Have you noticed that?
- 9:41Speaker 4: I never even The way he said thank you this
- 9:43Speaker 4: time was we found a spot in the corner and
- 9:46Speaker 4: I was absolutely gassed, like I was hungover.
- 9:48Speaker 7: I was in all sorts. He walks off. He comes
- 9:50Speaker 7: back with.
- 9:51Speaker 4: A small tart and a chocolate slice from the buffet
- 9:56Speaker 4: and he goes.
- 9:56Speaker 6: There you go, kezy, Oh it's pretty good.
- 9:58Speaker 4: That was his way of saying thank you. It's really
- 10:00Speaker 4: well was by going up and finding two of the
- 10:03Speaker 4: things I just would never have eaten at all, and
- 10:05Speaker 4: in presenting them to me, so at.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Least he made an effort. Yes, I thought in that
- 10:08Speaker 6: case that count.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if you guys know this. Oh well,
- 10:13Speaker 3: if you know this, mogie, because Kezy does.
- 10:15Speaker 7: Everything's free in there, and so free because you pay
- 10:19Speaker 7: for it.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Point. So I was like filling my boots.
- 10:22Speaker 3: As you can imagine, I was going hard because we
- 10:25Speaker 3: had three hours to kill and I I'm a pretty
- 10:29Speaker 3: sensitive fellow, but I got the distinct impression that Kesy
- 10:33Speaker 3: was embarrassed by my behavior there.
- 10:35Speaker 4: It was the amount of times you were getting up
- 10:38Speaker 4: and then you'd go and come back with just the
- 10:39Speaker 4: randommest little assortment of food. And you can really spot
- 10:42Speaker 4: someone who hasn't paid for it, because they're just acting
- 10:45Speaker 4: a bit different.
- 10:45Speaker 6: And also, and this is something that I noticed as well,
- 10:48Speaker 6: as they don't eat everything, they'll have a bite of
- 10:52Speaker 6: each thing.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Yes, So Jase comes back right, He's got, you know,
- 10:56Speaker 4: a whole lot of crackers, a little slice of cheese,
- 10:59Speaker 4: and some pickle of a mountain of pecolily, and he.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Makes two of them and then just walks off again.
- 11:04Speaker 4: And then the lady comes and clears his plate, and
- 11:06Speaker 4: then he comes back with another stupid little plate of
- 11:07Speaker 4: stuff that doesn't go together. Eats a little bit walks off,
- 11:10Speaker 4: she clears his plate, and I'm just sitting there like,
- 11:12Speaker 4: you are so embarrassing.
- 11:14Speaker 5: What without a word of a lie, mogie, this is
- 11:17Speaker 5: what happened.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I had a plate with all sorts of cheeses, crackers
- 11:21Speaker 3: and cracker and pecularly. This is exactly what happened. I
- 11:27Speaker 3: put the plate down in front of me and Kesey went.
- 11:31Speaker 5: What the hell are you doing? Man?
- 11:34Speaker 3: And I said, having some cheese and crackers and he
- 11:37Speaker 3: went with piccularly and I went yeah, and he went, you're.
- 11:43Speaker 5: So weird, man?
- 11:45Speaker 7: Is this Without a word of a lie, I.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Was like, what's weird about eating cheese and crackers and pecularly?
- 11:51Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying.
- 11:52Speaker 4: It was just it was just someone really doing a
- 11:55Speaker 4: hit and run on all the free food in the
- 11:57Speaker 4: free in quotations and you know.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Admittedly might have put a bit of stuff in.
- 12:01Speaker 6: The sexual Yeah, well that's what you travel around with
- 12:03Speaker 6: it with your sexul which has only got your phone
- 12:06Speaker 6: in it, some nicorette gum yeah, and the three lighters
- 12:13Speaker 6: and a fourth and a fifth and his jeans. Yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 6: that go af through airport security. And it's a good
- 12:18Speaker 6: it's a smart way to go thanks. Do you just
- 12:19Speaker 6: fill it up with like wheels of cheese and roast
- 12:23Speaker 6: potatoes and beef rinding.
- 12:26Speaker 3: My wife was stoked when I got home and I
- 12:29Speaker 3: laid out of a buffet for her, you know what
- 12:31Speaker 3: I mean. And of course you know all my shot lifting,
- 12:34Speaker 3: you know what I mean? Thanctually, there's quite a lot
- 12:36Speaker 3: of stuff in my bag. It's not just wheels of cheese.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Well that's all gjson. You're welcome to coming with me anytime.
- 12:43Speaker 10: Man.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Yeah, thanks, buddy, you said thank you?
- 12:46Speaker 7: Was that you saying thanks?
- 12:47Speaker 6: Did you hear how sarcastic?
- 12:49Speaker 5: It was?
- 12:49Speaker 7: Yeah? Can you just say thank you?
- 12:52Speaker 5: Thanks, buddy.
- 12:54Speaker 1: The whole Roky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 12:57Speaker 1: tune in four.
- 13:00Speaker 3: They Clear there on the radio, Hadarky Big Show this
- 13:03Speaker 3: Monday afternoon of the Clear coming in at number four
- 13:05Speaker 3: oh three. Of course, it was a bit of rugby
- 13:07Speaker 3: league action over the weekend and dear, we've got our
- 13:10Speaker 3: old mate Charlie Gab on the line.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Charlie. Then the corresponding game last.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Year the Feelers were handed their asses are sixty six
- 13:20Speaker 3: to Sex loss.
- 13:21Speaker 5: The Titans got off to a flyer again.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I thought, oh here we go, but no, Serrie, Bob,
- 13:28Speaker 3: they hung tough.
- 13:30Speaker 10: Yeah we did, brother, We we chipped, we clapped their cheeks.
- 13:37Speaker 7: We chepped their cliques. Man, we absolutely did.
- 13:42Speaker 4: And the good thing about it, Charlie, is it really
- 13:46Speaker 4: cemented our spot in the top four rights because there's
- 13:49Speaker 4: you know, there's been a lot of hate. There's been
- 13:50Speaker 4: a lot of hate at the Wars. You know, they're
- 13:52Speaker 4: starting to lose, run out of troops and stuff. But
- 13:53Speaker 4: all we need to do is submit that top four spot,
- 13:56Speaker 4: get yourself a home final, and anything could happen.
- 13:59Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, that's right. I don't know. Are we cemented.
- 14:02Speaker 5: I don't know if I don't have the cement.
- 14:04Speaker 7: Cem We poured the cement. It's not dry yet, but
- 14:07Speaker 7: we're hoping it'll do the job.
- 14:09Speaker 10: It's still a bit green. But don't drive on it.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, keep the animals inside all they ruin it.
- 14:15Speaker 10: Yeah, but there might be a bit of time to
- 14:18Speaker 10: draw something in it.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, absolutely, But Worrious.
- 14:21Speaker 10: That performance was good, Like they obviously got a few
- 14:25Speaker 10: points at the end. That whole game, just our defense
- 14:28Speaker 10: was one us a game. They they were always kicking
- 14:32Speaker 10: from their own half. They'd never really looked like coming
- 14:34Speaker 10: out of their own half the title, So I don't know,
- 14:37Speaker 10: it was stuff we saw mid season. They were more repeating,
- 14:40Speaker 10: so maybe we are coming.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Absolutely, the halves. The halves were good. A little bit
- 14:45Speaker 6: of extra time for them to be together. Roger looked amazing,
- 14:47Speaker 6: nice had Rocko Berry Beck. He appeared to get injured
- 14:51Speaker 6: yet again, only in the final minute. For the rest
- 14:53Speaker 6: of his life. He's probably out for the rest of
- 14:54Speaker 6: his life. I'm not too sure. But just giving them
- 14:57Speaker 6: more time together, I think is is a good thing.
- 15:00Speaker 6: And it's a huge improvement on last week.
- 15:04Speaker 10: Yeah, the massive improvement. Yeah, not much sore you can
- 15:07Speaker 10: really say about it. It was it was easy to watch.
- 15:10Speaker 10: They never really looked like losing. I don't know, just
- 15:14Speaker 10: because I was I was thinking it was going to
- 15:15Speaker 10: be a close game or Titans might win. I was
- 15:17Speaker 10: kind of waiting. I was shouts, when are they're going
- 15:20Speaker 10: to score a few tries in a row? But they
- 15:22Speaker 10: just were not threatening at all. I don't know it
- 15:24Speaker 10: was because of our defense, but there's obviously some meteres
- 15:27Speaker 10: going on with the Titans as well. This has its
- 15:30Speaker 10: just been sacked.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, Charlie and you found time to watch
- 15:35Speaker 4: the game because obviously when we left you on Friday Thursday.
- 15:39Speaker 7: Night there you're expecting the birth of your third child.
- 15:43Speaker 10: Yeah the child doesn't coming, and yes there's then I
- 15:46Speaker 10: was good. Thanks for having me find my car keys
- 15:48Speaker 10: fell as well.
- 15:52Speaker 6: Yeah, it was a great It was a it was
- 15:53Speaker 6: a great night. People were devastated that you didn't make
- 15:55Speaker 6: it for the live show. You turned out slightly afterwards.
- 15:58Speaker 6: There were text coming in where the e is Charlie Garb, etcetera, etcetera.
- 16:01Speaker 6: You turned up eventually, you made up for lost time. Brother.
- 16:04Speaker 10: Yeah, I didn't like it, Like I had a bit
- 16:07Speaker 10: of social anxiety, you know that I drove past and
- 16:09Speaker 10: there was a big ass Chris I just said in
- 16:10Speaker 10: the current way.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 6: Yeah, Well you would have felt better once you had
- 16:14Speaker 6: fifty seven absolutely hammered twenty one year olds coming up
- 16:18Speaker 6: to you and punishing them, punishing you with their best
- 16:20Speaker 6: of yarns from when they were playing footy when they
- 16:23Speaker 6: were seven.
- 16:24Speaker 10: No, it was good. Now you've got you've got a
- 16:27Speaker 10: very good stand based severs. Yeah, it's not like anything
- 16:31Speaker 10: else really. I've only been to a couple of Greene
- 16:34Speaker 10: party rallies and stuff like that that have rivaled. So
- 16:37Speaker 10: it was really good.
- 16:38Speaker 6: And the great thing is there's only dudes there.
- 16:42Speaker 10: Yeah, there wasn't a lot of men flooding around.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Hey, Sally, bloody hell.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Actually there was a well a mature woman there who
- 16:57Speaker 3: was a huge fan of the show.
- 16:59Speaker 5: Really, and I find actually.
- 17:01Speaker 7: You're making a back of one woman.
- 17:03Speaker 5: You know. Well, there were a couple that were big
- 17:05Speaker 5: fans that were there, so we.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Do have, you know, some female fans, Charlie, your felthy
- 17:11Speaker 3: bar describe it?
- 17:13Speaker 10: No, we will. Yeah, that's real toilet talk, not really.
- 17:15Speaker 10: I'm just.
- 17:19Speaker 7: He's actually a squeaky clean dude usually Charlie.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Having said all that, man who was your Porter King
- 17:25Speaker 4: Player of the.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Round, Roger, Yeah, I had to be.
- 17:30Speaker 10: He's a beast.
- 17:31Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean try scoring machine.
- 17:33Speaker 4: He's run for damn near three hundred meters every single
- 17:36Speaker 4: game for the best part of a month, and he
- 17:38Speaker 4: gets a ten percent discount on his next Porter King
- 17:41Speaker 4: Portloo rental.
- 17:42Speaker 10: Is that correct, Charlie, Yeah, I mean we'll work something
- 17:45Speaker 10: out right, don't.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Want to commit to it on here. All good bro,
- 17:49Speaker 4: Thanks for catching up with Charlie. I don't forget if
- 17:51Speaker 4: you're in the one intin area. You need a portlod
- 17:52Speaker 4: to head up. Uncle Charlie at Porter King.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Thanks Fellers, good yeah mate, Hey number four oh two
- 17:59Speaker 3: on the countdown.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Now the crowded house for one hundred.
- 18:01Speaker 9: And two crowded house locked out.
- 18:04Speaker 1: The Whodarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 18:09Speaker 3: The Blank Crows here on the radio. Hold Archy Big
- 18:12Speaker 3: Show this Monday afternoon. Now that's the end of the
- 18:15Speaker 3: countdown for today. I believe starts up again tomorrow morning.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Feels that's right, starts at eight am. Jason, nothing but
- 18:22Speaker 3: nineties countdown all things.
- 18:23Speaker 4: So, I mates, it's super like a They're celebrating their
- 18:25Speaker 4: thirtieth birthday. So if you hit in store, there's heaps
- 18:28Speaker 4: of great prizes.
- 18:29Speaker 7: That you can actually win.
- 18:30Speaker 4: And of course we've got this magnificent nineties countdown to
- 18:32Speaker 4: celebrate as well.
- 18:33Speaker 7: So it's going to be a good week.
- 18:34Speaker 5: Yeah, good stuff. Let's talk TV, shall we?
- 18:39Speaker 8: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 18:46Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, Fellers. Last night I watched a TV show
- 18:50Speaker 6: called Warren's Vortex starring the magnificent Makapuatu. He was paranormal
- 18:57Speaker 6: paranormal he was Sajja Macha, so we are going to
- 19:02Speaker 6: be talking to him at some point of it and
- 19:04Speaker 6: day is it today?
- 19:06Speaker 5: Yay?
- 19:07Speaker 6: Hey good, So that'll be lovely to see him anyway.
- 19:11Speaker 6: He's the lead man in this Warren's Vortex as a
- 19:13Speaker 6: new local series from the makers of Will Into Paranormal.
- 19:16Speaker 6: The series follows barbecue loving Warren't, a family man who's
- 19:19Speaker 6: had a vortex in his backyard she had for years
- 19:21Speaker 6: that he only uses for grass cluppings. When his daughter
- 19:23Speaker 6: falls and he goes in after her and what follows
- 19:27Speaker 6: is them visiting many different worlds. So it's a half
- 19:29Speaker 6: an hour sitcom, very very funny cast Mellow Cawthorne, Cohen Holloway,
- 19:33Speaker 6: Millan Beard, Jeanet MacDonald, amongst others.
- 19:37Speaker 5: It's sort of like a cross.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Between I guess Paranormal a little bit and Doctor Who
- 19:43Speaker 6: and maybe The Mighty Boosh.
- 19:45Speaker 5: Which is out of the UK.
- 19:46Speaker 7: Very Rick and Morty is yeah.
- 19:47Speaker 6: Rick and Morty and it's I saw the first episode
- 19:50Speaker 6: last night. Great job. I'm giving up four buzz's. It's
- 19:53Speaker 6: on TV and Z Plus and also TV and Z Linear.
- 19:56Speaker 6: It's on every Sunday night at seven pm. Highly recommend
- 20:00Speaker 6: a first episode is very difficult and they do a
- 20:02Speaker 6: great job, some genuine laugh out loud moments, and that
- 20:04Speaker 6: the cast is great, great for kids.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Get your kids watching it as well.
- 20:08Speaker 7: She's a ripper like a family sitcom.
- 20:10Speaker 5: She's a great family sitcom.
- 20:13Speaker 7: Nice. Four busies out of five. Not bad, It's pretty good.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I started watching last night Slow Horses with Gary Oldman.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Gary old Man and I had reverberating in my head.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Mogi was telling me that the first episode, but it's good,
- 20:30Speaker 3: it's good, and so I said to my wife the
- 20:32Speaker 3: first episode might be a bit crap because Old Moggie
- 20:34Speaker 3: said so.
- 20:35Speaker 5: It was more the first season, the more first season.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Really enjoyed it great. I'm really liking it.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Gary Oldman is the cranky old bass that is just
- 20:45Speaker 3: magnificent in terms of embodying the most hemous person you
- 20:49Speaker 3: can imagine. He just does such a good job. But
- 20:53Speaker 3: is there a heart of gold underneath itgi? Is the
- 20:56Speaker 3: question that I asked. It's kind of a a thriller,
- 21:01Speaker 3: slash spy type, sinister drama, mystery drama, but it was
- 21:06Speaker 3: also I found it really easy to follow.
- 21:08Speaker 5: I was and really enjoyed all of the cast actually question.
- 21:12Speaker 7: Is it a Keysy's Wife type series.
- 21:15Speaker 5: I don't know. If it is.
- 21:18Speaker 6: Too on, yeah, it's too good.
- 21:21Speaker 4: No, No, I'm genuine genuinely like, well, no, you can't
- 21:25Speaker 4: handle anything that's not true.
- 21:27Speaker 6: Wells, according to what you've said, she doesn't like anything.
- 21:31Speaker 6: So any kind of drama, any kind of somebody getting shot, any.
- 21:34Speaker 5: Kind of violence.
- 21:36Speaker 6: It's a spy mystery thriller. No good for her. But
- 21:39Speaker 6: you can't have she's seen Grand designs.
- 21:42Speaker 7: Mike, you can.
- 21:43Speaker 4: You can have those things without it being like really
- 21:46Speaker 4: violent or without it being.
- 21:47Speaker 6: From what I've heard from you, this is not the show.
- 21:51Speaker 6: This is not the show for her. Yeah. But as
- 21:55Speaker 6: I say, I already enjoyed it. My wife really enjoyed it.
- 21:57Speaker 6: She's really opened to lots of stuff. Can I ask
- 21:59Speaker 6: you how you feeling about Apple overall as a provider
- 22:03Speaker 6: of content. I actually find it really good, Yes, really good.
- 22:08Speaker 6: Less content but higher quality.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Yes, I'd agree with that.
- 22:11Speaker 3: And I'm going to give slow Horses three point nine
- 22:14Speaker 3: busies wow out of five.
- 22:16Speaker 4: At five, I watched the second episode of that man
- 22:19Speaker 4: Hunt for Osama bin Laden. Oh yeah, yes, second episode
- 22:22Speaker 4: not as grabbing as the first episode was, and it's
- 22:25Speaker 4: just a whole lot of Americans wanking on about basically
- 22:29Speaker 4: battle strategies and how they tried to kill people and
- 22:32Speaker 4: they went in there and they let them have it and.
- 22:33Speaker 5: All that's good stuff.
- 22:35Speaker 7: So that is really hard to watch.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Yeah, but I'm up to episode three now, which I
- 22:40Speaker 4: assume is them finding him, and I do know where
- 22:43Speaker 4: they found him and what a situation was. I'm quite
- 22:46Speaker 4: excited to see that. Yes, that's on Netflix. Three busies
- 22:49Speaker 4: out of five.
- 22:50Speaker 3: There's that famous sort of picture of Hillary Clinton, who
- 22:54Speaker 3: was Secretary of State Obama in the war room.
- 22:58Speaker 5: They're very tense looking on as they went in. That's right.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but yeah, I'll give that. I think I might
- 23:04Speaker 3: actually have already seen it.
- 23:06Speaker 7: But then my wife can watch that. It's fine, right,
- 23:09Speaker 7: so I don't know.
- 23:11Speaker 6: Well, why don't you play it and then see how
- 23:12Speaker 6: she goes?
- 23:12Speaker 7: Okay, we'll do that.
- 23:13Speaker 5: I think she'll be all right with slow horses. Actually,
- 23:16Speaker 5: you've changed your tune. There's not a massive amount of
- 23:18Speaker 5: violence or anything. Okay, bit of farting.
- 23:20Speaker 11: There's some farting, liar, she loves Farder the Wold actual
- 23:26Speaker 11: Big Show with Mike and Ksy tune in week days
- 23:30Speaker 11: at four on Radio Hodache.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Welcome back as her backbones. Hope you're surviving your Monday afternoon.
- 23:35Speaker 3: The time is four minutes past five o'clock and you
- 23:38Speaker 3: right now are listening to the big show brought to
- 23:40Speaker 3: you by Reburger.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Serving good times and good food dynam or take away
- 23:44Speaker 4: at Reburger today just on the Source Chicken there failures.
- 23:49Speaker 4: They've actually added Source chickens to all the stores across.
- 23:53Speaker 7: The country right now. Well you know how they have
- 23:56Speaker 7: those chickens.
- 23:57Speaker 6: Yes, that serve you. Well, those you have chicken around,
- 24:01Speaker 6: the sauce around.
- 24:03Speaker 7: So it's a real chicken.
- 24:04Speaker 4: It's where it's wearing like a little waiters outfit and
- 24:06Speaker 4: it has a sauce necklace. And so if you order fries,
- 24:09Speaker 4: the chicken will come out and you can dip it
- 24:11Speaker 4: in its necklace. And then they've actually added something to
- 24:14Speaker 4: the menu as well called Sauce Chicken Ah. And it's
- 24:18Speaker 4: five basically how it is is five original Supernash or
- 24:22Speaker 4: Louisiana tenders plus your pick of three sauces.
- 24:25Speaker 7: All right.
- 24:26Speaker 4: There's also brand new Hot Honey Buffalo sauce. This is
- 24:30Speaker 4: all because we were banging on about sauce chickens and
- 24:35Speaker 4: you can eat.
- 24:35Speaker 6: Them good good all.
- 24:37Speaker 5: I was actually without a word of a layo was
- 24:38Speaker 5: the last night.
- 24:41Speaker 6: Got a Helloami burger for the kid there, and I
- 24:44Speaker 6: had something I think it was called a King Royal
- 24:46Speaker 6: or something grada and the miss has had something that
- 24:49Speaker 6: started with D D. But it was yum. But it
- 24:55Speaker 6: was yam really good. And I'll tell you what, man,
- 24:57Speaker 6: I don't know if you've heard them before, but the chips.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Are out the gate. It's so good.
- 25:02Speaker 3: I was unfortunately away in our family batch this weekend,
- 25:05Speaker 3: so bloody didn't wasn't able.
- 25:07Speaker 5: To get any We had a disaster on the food
- 25:09Speaker 5: front too, on that.
- 25:10Speaker 7: Front, So do you want to tell us about that next?
- 25:13Speaker 5: Okay, sure, it's a great story. It's a great young man.
- 25:16Speaker 5: It's a really good it's a great because I was
- 25:20Speaker 5: going to leave.
- 25:21Speaker 4: I was going to switch off while you told the story.
- 25:23Speaker 4: But if it's that good, I'm going to be here.
- 25:25Speaker 5: I have one here on it.
- 25:26Speaker 7: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Well, in the meantime, He's Arctic Monkeys.
- 25:30Speaker 7: Doesn't show the whole archy.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Big show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune in fill.
- 25:38Speaker 3: To there on the Radio Hodarchy Big show this Monday afternoon,
- 25:42Speaker 3: and you fellas have what's lyrical about your weekends? Old
- 25:47Speaker 3: Mogi getting back on the horse and thrashing the living.
- 25:50Speaker 3: But Jesus out of it, Old Kezy, Old Kesey has
- 25:55Speaker 3: been sick all weekend.
- 25:56Speaker 7: Yeah, doing nothing and being at home all weekend and
- 25:58Speaker 7: being sick.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Second, you know, I sort of dug a little deeper
- 26:02Speaker 3: and yeah, he was sick.
- 26:03Speaker 5: He's got glue ear or something something.
- 26:07Speaker 7: Chest and fixture.
- 26:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I had a really lovely weekend, fellows. Actually I
- 26:13Speaker 3: went to the family Batch. Oh wow, Yeah, which is
- 26:17Speaker 3: you know, really nice.
- 26:18Speaker 6: You only call it the family betch on here, but
- 26:20Speaker 6: off here you call it my batch.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Because I want people to know that I'm not some
- 26:25Speaker 3: rich bastard that owns a batch.
- 26:28Speaker 5: It's not my batch. It's a family bet.
- 26:30Speaker 7: But you could buy it if you wanted to.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I could if I wanted to, but I'm not going to.
- 26:35Speaker 3: But my wife and I had an absolute mirror because
- 26:39Speaker 3: the thing about the batch is when you go to
- 26:42Speaker 3: the batch, there's kind of four things you do. You
- 26:45Speaker 3: walk your fish, you swim, you make love, you eat.
- 26:50Speaker 7: That's five things.
- 26:51Speaker 6: That's so many things. Watch one of those getting struggled.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Anyway, what our usual plan of a tear when we
- 27:00Speaker 3: go to the batches. We drive to Wahuku, we stop
- 27:03Speaker 3: at the supermarket there and we load up on food
- 27:06Speaker 3: that's on the It's about halfway to the bats from
- 27:09Speaker 3: our place, right. So this time my beloved wife said
- 27:14Speaker 3: to me, hey, there was this there's this really cool
- 27:18Speaker 3: like deli slash grocery store on the way.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Shall we stop their? Stud that's what she calls me.
- 27:24Speaker 5: Stud calls me stud.
- 27:27Speaker 7: That's good man, no one of the what is it
- 27:33Speaker 7: dud stud?
- 27:35Speaker 5: But anyway, true story.
- 27:36Speaker 3: He said, let's stop at this deli button and get
- 27:38Speaker 3: some food from there. And I went, that's a great idea, darling.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Let's do it.
- 27:41Speaker 3: So we stopped at this deli slash grocery shop and
- 27:44Speaker 3: to be fair, there's nothing really there.
- 27:46Speaker 5: It was kind of there's not a lot of stuff.
- 27:48Speaker 3: What we did buy was like a little wedge of cheese.
- 27:53Speaker 3: It was a kind of canon beer and a couple
- 27:57Speaker 3: of coffees and off we went.
- 27:58Speaker 5: And then we got to wouk and we were going
- 28:00Speaker 5: a slightly.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Different path, having a bit of a tickie tour around,
- 28:04Speaker 3: and then we discovered this other supermarket and I was like,
- 28:07Speaker 3: by geez, my love, I've never noticed that supermarket before.
- 28:11Speaker 5: And she went, haven and you stud.
- 28:13Speaker 4: And can I say, this is already one of the
- 28:14Speaker 4: best yards we've ever told.
- 28:15Speaker 5: But I tell you what, it gets better. And I said,
- 28:18Speaker 5: why don't we go to that supermarket?
- 28:20Speaker 7: What she is?
- 28:21Speaker 5: And she said, good idea, Stud. So we went into
- 28:24Speaker 5: the supermarket and it looked like it was going out
- 28:27Speaker 5: of business without a word of a light. It was
- 28:28Speaker 5: really dark.
- 28:29Speaker 3: There was no food on the shelves, and we bought
- 28:31Speaker 3: like a sort of stale sour.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Dough loaf, and I think my wife bought an apple.
- 28:37Speaker 3: And then my wife said to me, hey, stud, do
- 28:39Speaker 3: you want to go next door to the there's.
- 28:41Speaker 5: An op shop?
- 28:42Speaker 3: Oh yeah, good idea, baby, let's do that. So we
- 28:44Speaker 3: went to the op shop.
- 28:45Speaker 5: That was cool. Anyway, we get to the back.
- 28:49Speaker 6: What it looked like in Silan, w thought it was
- 28:50Speaker 6: going out of business. And what you bought it was.
- 28:53Speaker 6: It was a thriving op shop.
- 28:54Speaker 3: It was one of the better ones I've been to,
- 28:57Speaker 3: packed to the gunnels with stuff.
- 28:59Speaker 5: You buy some new shits, No, not this time.
- 29:03Speaker 3: She didn't find it because we were quite keen to
- 29:05Speaker 3: get to the bat for the head one night, so
- 29:07Speaker 3: we get to the batch, I go into the in
- 29:10Speaker 3: the lounge, I'm just chilling out, and then I go
- 29:12Speaker 3: into the kitchen and my wife's standing there looking very bemused,
- 29:16Speaker 3: and I said, what's going on? What's the problem? And
- 29:18Speaker 3: she said, did we actually buy any food? And I
- 29:23Speaker 3: was like, well, yeah, didn't we. I look in the fridge.
- 29:27Speaker 3: We've got a little slither.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Of cheese, wedge wedge of cheese.
- 29:33Speaker 3: We've got frozen chicken that we brought from home, and
- 29:36Speaker 3: some salad and when I say salad, I mean some
- 29:38Speaker 3: lettuce and a capsicum. We've got one apple and a
- 29:44Speaker 3: loaf of stale sour dough.
- 29:47Speaker 5: And we were like what the were we thinking? And
- 29:54Speaker 5: I was like, oh shall we? Oh, we're going to
- 29:57Speaker 5: have to go back to the supermarket. That's ridiculous. We've
- 29:59Speaker 5: got no food.
- 30:00Speaker 3: And then we went, oh, actually, we can't be asked
- 30:02Speaker 3: because it's like an hour and a half round trip

- 30:05Speaker 5: We're just backboneut. Wow.
- 30:08Speaker 3: That's that's That was the food that we had for
- 30:10Speaker 3: the entire weekend. We found some grapefruit, We had some
- 30:13Speaker 3: grilled grapefruit with a little sugar on it, and of
- 30:19Speaker 3: course I got a seal in the net club the
- 30:22Speaker 3: little bastard there really yeah?
- 30:25Speaker 7: Did you eat it?
- 30:25Speaker 5: Nah?
- 30:26Speaker 10: Nah?
- 30:26Speaker 5: They're full of fat.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Yeah, they're blubbery. Man, what did you well? I caught
- 30:31Speaker 3: it in the net man.
- 30:31Speaker 6: It's it's sport.
- 30:32Speaker 5: It's putting it out of its misery keys that sport. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:37Speaker 5: it was an absolute disaster.
- 30:38Speaker 6: Fellas that you love my story, I'll tell you what's
- 30:40Speaker 6: in all time? I kicked that one up, would you
- 30:42Speaker 6: de man?
- 30:44Speaker 5: Three four?
- 30:45Speaker 4: You like Jason's story everyrun of the drawer for a
- 30:48Speaker 4: fifty reburg about you?
- 30:51Speaker 1: Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Jane's addiction there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 30:59Speaker 3: Monday after the Time five twenty seven.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Certainly is if you've just joined us before those two songs.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Just then Jace told an old timer of a story
- 31:07Speaker 4: and we finished the break by asking what you new
- 31:09Speaker 4: Zealand thought of his little story there about kind of
- 31:11Speaker 4: the batch.
- 31:12Speaker 7: It was unreal, it was unreal.
- 31:13Speaker 5: It was one of my better stories, for sure.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Feelings check these six out on three four oh three
- 31:18Speaker 4: hoodie jears.
- 31:19Speaker 7: That was an all timer.
- 31:20Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Love Jase's weekend story. How good, smiley face. That was
- 31:25Speaker 4: a great story. I can't believe you guys cut him
- 31:27Speaker 4: off before it got interesting or relevant.
- 31:29Speaker 7: Five buzzins love the story Jase keeping coming your backbone cheers.
- 31:35Speaker 7: Oh great this one here.
- 31:37Speaker 4: I thought Keesy's stories were terrible. Then Jace came waddling
- 31:40Speaker 4: over with that monstrosity.
- 31:44Speaker 3: I actually got a text from my wife on that
- 31:45Speaker 3: great story, Fellas, and it said, very good true story.
- 31:50Speaker 5: Stud Yeah, that's right. You know what I'm saying.
- 31:53Speaker 7: That's all that matters.
- 31:55Speaker 5: I'm here to make the people happy.
- 31:56Speaker 7: Fellas. Can ask you a question. Have you ever cranked
- 32:00Speaker 7: a hog?
- 32:01Speaker 5: Sorry?
- 32:01Speaker 6: What?
- 32:02Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:02Speaker 7: Have you ever cranked a hog?
- 32:04Speaker 5: Yes?
- 32:05Speaker 7: Yea yeah, yeah, soaved it really.
- 32:09Speaker 5: In my twenties, like furiously, because.
- 32:11Speaker 7: Obviously crank the hog.
- 32:13Speaker 4: When you crank a hog, it means like pump your ride,
- 32:15Speaker 4: like do up your car, Yeah, because the hog is
- 32:17Speaker 4: the car or the motorbike does it? And cranking it
- 32:20Speaker 4: is like customizing.
- 32:22Speaker 6: It is that the first time that term has ever
- 32:23Speaker 6: been used, cranking the hog?
- 32:25Speaker 5: No, I mean in this way?
- 32:27Speaker 4: Uh No, I don't think so that's how we used
- 32:29Speaker 4: to that, that's what we used to.
- 32:33Speaker 5: You used to go around to your mate's place to
- 32:34Speaker 5: crank the whole.
- 32:35Speaker 7: No, I don't go into their house and crank their hog.
- 32:37Speaker 5: No, why not.
- 32:38Speaker 7: I'll be cranking my own hog, right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 6: You must have, you know, because sometimes I know you
- 32:44Speaker 6: know that you've well, your dead definitely helps you crank
- 32:48Speaker 6: your hog.
- 32:50Speaker 7: One PC because he's a mechanic. He's bigg into cars.
- 32:53Speaker 4: My whole family, yeah, has pretty much made a career
- 32:56Speaker 4: off of cranking hogs.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Right. Okay, well that's why I thought you going place
- 33:00Speaker 5: to crank a hog.
- 33:02Speaker 6: It is your dad cranks the hog. Really, let's be honest,
- 33:04Speaker 6: and you just get video footage of it.
- 33:06Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 33:07Speaker 7: That's what you guys say.
- 33:08Speaker 5: I do.
- 33:08Speaker 7: Like my truck, for example, my hog.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Break down in the car park, every fluid all over.
- 33:14Speaker 7: I fixed it.
- 33:18Speaker 4: That's the one that hog, right, My dad and I
- 33:22Speaker 4: cranked it to get because you know, it's a father
- 33:25Speaker 4: son project to do up this car.
- 33:27Speaker 6: Right.
- 33:28Speaker 4: And so the long and short of this is where
- 33:30Speaker 4: we get to the point. Well, I'm trying to being waylaid,
- 33:34Speaker 4: and now this story is taking longer than Haughty J's
- 33:36Speaker 4: bet story. But the reason we bring it up is
- 33:41Speaker 4: because we are celebrating the launch of a brand new
- 33:43Speaker 4: Panhead road Hog ins it I p A.
- 33:47Speaker 7: And we're doing that by upgrading one person's hog.
- 33:49Speaker 5: Have you got another lolly in your mouth?
- 33:52Speaker 7: But who cares?
- 33:55Speaker 4: I'm trying to make sure my voice doesn't go So basically,
- 33:58Speaker 4: we want you to send us a picture of your whole,
- 34:00Speaker 4: your motorbike or your car, and we'll give you.
- 34:02Speaker 5: Sort of skateboard. No, okay, it is good.
- 34:08Speaker 7: Yeah, I thought you were taking the person ever, and
- 34:09Speaker 7: then I realized it was a g Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 34:11Speaker 7: great question.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Bicycle?
- 34:13Speaker 7: No, maybe we're preferring motorbikes and cars.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, okay, because if we're.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Gonna you know, so, send us and photos of your hog,
- 34:21Speaker 4: your motorbike, your car, and we're gonna choose one and
- 34:24Speaker 4: then we're gonna crank it.
- 34:25Speaker 7: We're gonna give you some cash to make that happen, right,
- 34:28Speaker 7: which I think is pretty exciting.
- 34:29Speaker 4: The whole time we've worked here, we've never done a
- 34:31Speaker 4: promo where we've done up an old car that's right
- 34:32Speaker 4: up my alley, you know what I mean?
- 34:34Speaker 7: Fellas.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Yeah, can I can I like seend a picture of
- 34:40Speaker 3: them one of my stock cars.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Sure, but you can't enter it because you work here
- 34:44Speaker 4: at the radio station. What I'm second, I've told you that, Like, Hey,
- 34:48Speaker 4: this is all thanks to Panhand's new road hog.
- 34:50Speaker 5: In is it?
- 34:51Speaker 4: I p a wow just like its namesake road hogs
- 34:54Speaker 4: and old school i PA built with new school hops
- 34:56Speaker 4: crack into one.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Now just to clarify here, keysy on a serious night,
- 34:59Speaker 3: we want to we want people to tell us what
- 35:01Speaker 3: they want to do to crank their hog.
- 35:03Speaker 7: No no, no, no.
- 35:04Speaker 4: We want them to send in photos of their hog
- 35:07Speaker 4: at hodak you dot co dot inzid, their car when
- 35:09Speaker 4: I say the hog, their car or their motorbike, and
- 35:11Speaker 4: then we would choose one of them and we will
- 35:12Speaker 4: crank it.
- 35:13Speaker 7: Aka, we will pump it. We will do it up.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Gotcha.
- 35:16Speaker 7: Yeah, it's pretty straightforward. Photos.
- 35:19Speaker 6: Are you getting confused?
- 35:20Speaker 4: Photos of your hog at hodak you dot co dot
- 35:22Speaker 4: in zid, and then one lucky person will get it
- 35:25Speaker 4: cranked thanks to Panhead.
- 35:28Speaker 6: I'm not looking forward to seeing photos of these hogs.
- 35:30Speaker 4: Yeah, Dilly's gonna be the one in charge of going
- 35:32Speaker 4: through that up next though fellas New Zealand actor Marka Pohatsu.
- 35:36Speaker 7: Yeah great, famously from Wellington Paranormal to discuss a brand
- 35:40Speaker 7: new TV show.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Darchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy
- 35:45Speaker 1: a Quit of the.
- 35:46Speaker 5: Son ag on the radio Hodarchy Big Show.
- 35:49Speaker 3: This glorious Monday afternoon, very special guest and a good
- 35:55Speaker 3: made of old moogies, Marka Pouhatsu. They madehouse live. You good,
- 36:00Speaker 3: thank you, Good on you mate, You're looking very good.
- 36:02Speaker 5: Thank you. You've been working out? Yeah, working out? Yeah,
- 36:08Speaker 5: last night.
- 36:08Speaker 6: And the reason why you're here, and we should probably
- 36:10Speaker 6: get into this, is you're the lead actor in a
- 36:12Speaker 6: new TV show called Warren's Vortex.
- 36:15Speaker 5: Hey, that's great. What about this guy?
- 36:18Speaker 6: And we'll get into what it's all about. But we
- 36:19Speaker 6: were watching it last night and we haven't seen you
- 36:21Speaker 6: for a while, even though you live around the corner
- 36:23Speaker 6: and you never come and see us and we never
- 36:25Speaker 6: come and see you. And as soon as you came
- 36:27Speaker 6: on screen, my wife said if and hell if and
- 36:32Speaker 6: hell he's skinny. That's how hot you're looking.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Man.
- 36:35Speaker 6: Thank you, You're a goddamn sex machine. I'm on board
- 36:41Speaker 6: one hundred percent and I know you love hearing this stuff,
- 36:43Speaker 6: bro oh Man, but you look amazing.
- 36:45Speaker 5: Thank you, Bro. No big secret.
- 36:50Speaker 8: After the last season of Paranormal, I went and got
- 36:53Speaker 8: barrier chic surgery and that took that took care of
- 36:56Speaker 8: the bulk, but I still had to do something to
- 36:57Speaker 8: keep the uptake in the maintenance. So I jumped into
- 37:02Speaker 8: a hobby. We strangle your meats and.
- 37:06Speaker 7: Jiu jitsu before, so.
- 37:07Speaker 4: You're actually on the ground wrestling around because I've heard
- 37:09Speaker 4: that is an amazing way to keep fit.
- 37:12Speaker 8: And you just learned skills and it's kind of like
- 37:14Speaker 8: puzzle solving, yeah, chess, but more strangling.
- 37:18Speaker 6: Yeah, that's all right, and you have been doing it relentlessly,
- 37:20Speaker 6: I think for probably what five or six years is
- 37:23Speaker 6: a bit of that.
- 37:23Speaker 8: Yeah, there's a term called sandbagging and jiu jitsu if
- 37:27Speaker 8: you can imagine, like you go, no, I'm only a
- 37:29Speaker 8: white belt, but you've been doing it for a while,
- 37:31Speaker 8: and then you get a bunch of sand bags and
- 37:33Speaker 8: it makes it kind of heavier than it is. Yeah, right,
- 37:35Speaker 8: I've seen that. I just I just got my blue belt.
- 37:37Speaker 8: That's a good But is it sort of like when
- 37:40Speaker 8: you play golf?
- 37:41Speaker 6: These guys play a lot of golf, and you just
- 37:42Speaker 6: sort of hold on to your terrible handicap and stay
- 37:45Speaker 6: at white belt even though your skills are much higher,
- 37:48Speaker 6: so you can keep on smashing people kind of.
- 37:50Speaker 8: And then it's also like everyone else is younger and
- 37:52Speaker 8: stronger than you two.
- 37:53Speaker 5: You're kind of.
- 37:54Speaker 8: I'm just the old hobbyist.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Well on that front. I mean talking of looking really good,
- 37:59Speaker 5: I mean I get to look at Moggi every day
- 38:01Speaker 5: and working out. He is wrecked. Man.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I'm talking sex pack. I'm talking his gutter has made
- 38:08Speaker 3: us something to.
- 38:09Speaker 5: Beharest, you know what I'm talking about. I mean, I'm
- 38:12Speaker 5: turned on every time I do this show. But listen, listen.
- 38:16Speaker 5: I was what it's called Warren's Vortex, and I think
- 38:19Speaker 5: it was today.
- 38:20Speaker 3: I was reading something along the lines of this is
- 38:24Speaker 3: going to be the next big hip mate after Wellington Paranormal,
- 38:28Speaker 3: which I thought was all right, But they were talking
- 38:32Speaker 3: about how this is, this has got all the recipes
- 38:34Speaker 3: for success. Tell us a little bit about it.
- 38:37Speaker 8: It's a fun show about a dad and daughter, but
- 38:39Speaker 8: it's like a you know, kind of lighthearted, satirical look
- 38:42Speaker 8: at dystopian multiverse kind of vibees got you know, the
- 38:47Speaker 8: whole multiversal kind of portal Rick and Morty.
- 38:53Speaker 5: Everywhere, all right.
- 38:55Speaker 6: I watched I watched the Fist episode last night and
- 38:57Speaker 6: I loved it, thank God, because I knew you were
- 38:59Speaker 6: coming today. I hate having to lie to your face.
- 39:03Speaker 6: I'll do it, but I don't like it. And it's
- 39:05Speaker 6: really good, and it's about a family that are living
- 39:08Speaker 6: down in Wellington. There's a portal that's opened up in
- 39:11Speaker 6: the garage, and Warren, which is Marca's character, just uses
- 39:16Speaker 6: it to throw his grass clippings into which is Handy
- 39:18Speaker 6: gets sort of all his grass clippings, and then the
- 39:20Speaker 6: daughter discovers it and she jumps into it and Marca
- 39:23Speaker 6: has to follow her. So everybody that exists in his
- 39:25Speaker 6: family unit and his next door neighbors, they all appear
- 39:28Speaker 6: in these parallel universes, but their characters are slightly different.
- 39:31Speaker 6: The year is slightly different. It's a great cast as well.
- 39:34Speaker 6: It's so fun, man, they're like the A team. Youve
- 39:36Speaker 6: got Milan Miller, bed Yea, Sophy, Hamilton, Mellow Cawthorn and
- 39:45Speaker 6: man Meta and the slowly young follow called to where Hawkins.
- 39:50Speaker 8: You gotta keep mine for him?
- 39:51Speaker 6: Okay, he's still at Drum School and Jeanet McDonald shows
- 39:54Speaker 6: up as well, who was also. I understand that you
- 39:58Speaker 6: guys got it wrong because she was and Jason my
- 40:00Speaker 6: show Talkback, which reuly made her a star.
- 40:03Speaker 5: A mark has never heard of that show. It resurrected
- 40:07Speaker 5: her career. I really do. But we'll hold up there
- 40:09Speaker 5: and we'll come back with more, with more chat.
- 40:11Speaker 7: Yeah, we'll go to it. Tune this from the Food
- 40:13Speaker 7: Fighters Man Love diyce Yeng.
- 40:16Speaker 1: How good the Hodarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 40:20Speaker 5: Tune in.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Coote Fighters here on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 40:26Speaker 3: Monday afternoon.
- 40:27Speaker 5: We have at the marketport.
- 40:28Speaker 6: I have to with us.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Who's starring on the new show what's it called Warren's Vortex.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Warren's Vortex, Yeah, and.
- 40:34Speaker 4: That's out on TV n Z plus as of last night.
- 40:36Speaker 4: It's also going to be on linear television every Sunday
- 40:40Speaker 4: night at seven.
- 40:40Speaker 7: Marker is that creeks?
- 40:42Speaker 5: Now?
- 40:42Speaker 4: The interesting thing about this, the rough storyline is you
- 40:46Speaker 4: live in Wellington with your daughter and in your garden
- 40:49Speaker 4: shared as a vortex that you've just been tipping grass
- 40:51Speaker 4: clippings into. You go into the vortex and unlock's parallel
- 40:55Speaker 4: universes and stuff, and watching Rick and Mordy do this
- 40:59Speaker 4: like a few years ago. It is there is an
- 41:03Speaker 4: never ending amount of storylines and things you can do
- 41:06Speaker 4: with the whole vortex too, different universes thing. Right, Yeah,
- 41:10Speaker 4: that's almost overwhelming because like you know, like that, it's
- 41:13Speaker 4: infinite possibilities and you just unlocked this way to go
- 41:16Speaker 4: and do whatever the hell you want, like as a
- 41:18Speaker 4: writer and even being a part of it. Isn't that
- 41:20Speaker 4: like the most daunting, ridiculous thing ever.
- 41:22Speaker 8: It just it just means that you get to bring
- 41:24Speaker 8: back characters it you know, might have died or you
- 41:28Speaker 8: get Yeah, it doesn't have to it doesn't matter.
- 41:30Speaker 10: You know.
- 41:30Speaker 8: You look at the whole Marvel thing too, they're like, oh,
- 41:32Speaker 8: we're just never ending bank.
- 41:34Speaker 6: Well, look at that hugely successful show The Airport brought
- 41:38Speaker 6: out Time Bandits that you and I were justin, and
- 41:44Speaker 6: that was a similar thing where they were traveling through time.
- 41:46Speaker 6: There Keysy a time portal, And sadly we won't get
- 41:48Speaker 6: to see anymore of that, will we. No, We've got
- 41:51Speaker 6: Warren's Vortex instead.
- 41:53Speaker 4: Yeah, well, because market you actually worked on Wellington Paranormal
- 41:56Speaker 4: with Mike and with Jas a little bit as well.
- 42:00Speaker 7: What was your experience working with.
- 42:01Speaker 8: Mike hard to keep a straight face? Man, I was
- 42:04Speaker 8: the king of corpsing what they call acting, like when
- 42:08Speaker 8: the scene falls apart because you're too busy laughing. Yeah,
- 42:12Speaker 8: and you're the only trained actor on the show. But
- 42:18Speaker 8: working on Warrens that gave me. I texted you, I
- 42:21Speaker 8: texted you and Karen to go mate. It's different. This
- 42:25Speaker 8: a whole nother thing, like being at number one on
- 42:27Speaker 8: the cour sheet, which is you.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Know, because I've heard about this, so the cour sheet
- 42:30Speaker 4: comes out and if you are number one on the
- 42:31Speaker 4: court shet it's basically that you are the lead actor
- 42:34Speaker 4: and the entire production.
- 42:36Speaker 7: And so now that you are number one, do you
- 42:38Speaker 7: find it hard to like you have to not corpse
- 42:40Speaker 7: and not crack up and you know.
- 42:41Speaker 6: Oh no, it's not there.
- 42:42Speaker 8: It was still the vibe on set was still like
- 42:45Speaker 8: fun and allowed for corpsing and all of that kind
- 42:47Speaker 8: of stuff. But it's just it just means that you're
- 42:50Speaker 8: in all the setups all day, every day. Yeah, and yeah,
- 42:54Speaker 8: it's a new kind of stamina you've.
- 42:55Speaker 5: Got to have.
- 42:56Speaker 6: And yeah, so with Paranormal Marker and Tom Sainsury'd be
- 43:03Speaker 6: on it was sort of four leads, but they'd be
- 43:05Speaker 6: on sort of maybe one or two days a week. Yeah,
- 43:08Speaker 6: but still getting paid more than us.
- 43:11Speaker 4: Because they were back at the police station, right, and
- 43:13Speaker 4: we were out of the field. And so you like,
- 43:15Speaker 4: if you crack up during a police station scene, it's fine.
- 43:17Speaker 4: But you, Mike and Karen as well, you're in pretty
- 43:21Speaker 4: much every single scene all day, every day, every night.
- 43:25Speaker 3: I actually got a few texts talking about text Marker
- 43:28Speaker 3: and about you, some of the people you're acting with,
- 43:31Speaker 3: and they said you fair strutted.
- 43:33Speaker 5: Into the studio when you have made number one.
- 43:36Speaker 6: You had a T shirt with number one, had like
- 43:38Speaker 6: number one on your t s.
- 43:41Speaker 5: And if anyone taught you just were like shut it.
- 43:45Speaker 3: That you've got a bear delivered at five o'clock every
- 43:47Speaker 3: day on set, that you had a different kind of
- 43:50Speaker 3: menu from the rest of the cast.
- 43:52Speaker 5: Is that all true?
- 43:52Speaker 6: Man?
- 43:52Speaker 5: Is that what happens when you're number one? Yeah?
- 43:54Speaker 7: Man, you've got to keep people on your toes.
- 43:56Speaker 8: You got to give them a healthy dose of fear
- 43:58Speaker 8: of you.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:59Speaker 6: Yes, but you know just this like.
- 44:02Speaker 8: Lines, take a lining line, that's your line now? Yeah,
- 44:06Speaker 8: having a side with the director of Hey, can you
- 44:08Speaker 8: just pull them back there?
- 44:10Speaker 5: He's really outshining me here at the moment.
- 44:12Speaker 4: I don't like it, Marcot, It's obviously just come out
- 44:15Speaker 4: on tv Z Plus now Warren's Vortex. What we're We're
- 44:20Speaker 4: one day into this thing, right, So have you managed
- 44:22Speaker 4: to get engage at all as to how people are
- 44:23Speaker 4: feeling about it?
- 44:25Speaker 8: Yeah, real positive, loving it. It's it's a family show.
- 44:29Speaker 8: Initially we were kind of like, oh, Sunday, that's a
- 44:32Speaker 8: weird time slot, right, but it's some you know, it's
- 44:35Speaker 8: winter right now and everyone's time.
- 44:37Speaker 6: You know, Sunday.
- 44:41Speaker 5: Is really good. It's not eight.
- 44:42Speaker 6: You know that you start dating out, some of the
- 44:44Speaker 6: aging out some of the kids because of the time slot.
- 44:46Speaker 5: But it is it's like the mighty Boosh out of
- 44:49Speaker 5: the UK.
- 44:50Speaker 6: It's like Doctor Who, but it doesn't have that scary
- 44:54Speaker 6: vibe but the super silly, some real laugh out loud moments.
- 44:57Speaker 6: There's some crack up stuff and the Paul yates to
- 44:59Speaker 6: produce one in and Power and Will also produces this
- 45:01Speaker 6: anick Ward who is a right across all seasons. Wellington
- 45:03Speaker 6: Paranormal one of the most prolific riders in New Zealand.
- 45:06Speaker 6: So it's it's a top team. Yeah, right across the board.
- 45:09Speaker 6: It's really really good.
- 45:10Speaker 3: And I've got to say actually Sunday seven is a
- 45:12Speaker 3: perfect time. You've got all your people that have had
- 45:14Speaker 3: a big weekend. There's chilling out on a Sunday night,

- 45:29Speaker 4: That's the issue you've got there. But that's the most
- 45:31Speaker 4: watched TV show I think in New Zealand, and that's
- 45:34Speaker 4: the time slot, the best time slot to have.

- 47:43Speaker 6: I can't complain.

- 47:51Speaker 4: got this thing now, right kind of? And is it

- 48:08Speaker 5: entitled thing to say. Oh yeah, you know what I mean, I'm.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Entitled because they're, you know, our sponsors, that I should
- 48:15Speaker 3: get free stuff.
- 48:16Speaker 5: No, it's just that I find it's seconding.
- 48:18Speaker 7: We have plugged the ass off and I love Reburger.
- 48:21Speaker 7: In fact, I was the one who made it all happen.
- 48:24Speaker 6: I went in there last night and I was also
- 48:26Speaker 6: wearing my Hodechi, my famous Hodeki jacket.
- 48:30Speaker 5: Nobody knew me from Adam.
- 48:32Speaker 7: Did you say backbone, backbone?
- 48:36Speaker 6: Nothing?
- 48:37Speaker 8: What?
- 48:37Speaker 5: Yeah? What's the other one? I'm saying, sauce chicken nothing? Nothing?
- 48:41Speaker 4: Wait, so you had your hack your shirt on and
- 48:43Speaker 4: you yelled sauce checking and no one said anything.
- 48:45Speaker 7: I find that hard to believe.
- 48:46Speaker 6: But it's a different kind of a setup in there
- 48:48Speaker 6: as well, because it's so fast. You see how they
- 48:50Speaker 6: serve you. There's no people that you just do it
- 48:52Speaker 6: on screens.
- 48:53Speaker 7: Yeah right, Okay.
- 48:55Speaker 3: That is so weird because when I go in to Reburger,
- 48:57Speaker 3: I always go in a disguise so that they don't
- 49:01Speaker 3: give me free stuff, but they get me every time.
- 49:04Speaker 5: Old witty Jay here go, mate on the house went.
- 49:08Speaker 7: Something you wouldn't normally wear.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Nice clothes, fake big nose glasses, fake pistache.
- 49:16Speaker 5: You know I'm about five eights, you know what I mean.
- 49:21Speaker 4: But hey, check out Reburger though beers Burgers in the
- 49:24Speaker 4: Southern Hemisphere.
- 49:25Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 49:30Speaker 3: Bink Floyd There on the radio ho Donkey Big Show
- 49:33Speaker 3: this Monday evening.
- 49:34Speaker 5: Let's talk rugby Union.
- 49:36Speaker 4: Crouch touch, porse, engage Rugby Union chat with wy j.
- 49:47Speaker 5: He is inteed.
- 49:48Speaker 3: In the Rugby Championship continued feels. With the All Blacks
- 49:52Speaker 3: facing off against Argentina for the second time. There was
- 49:56Speaker 3: a lot of thoughts. The general consensus were that the
- 50:00Speaker 3: Blacks We're going to dominate and take out the two
- 50:03Speaker 3: nil win over in Argentina, which isn't an easy ask.
- 50:06Speaker 5: They're hard to beat in their home, too easy to
- 50:09Speaker 5: beat over the entire history.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Well yes, but they are difficult to beat. And you
- 50:15Speaker 3: know I've banged on about this a little bit. There
- 50:18Speaker 3: was much heralding of Razor as a new all black coach,
- 50:23Speaker 3: that there was going to be this new era of
- 50:26Speaker 3: all Black rugby because he's so amazing, that we were
- 50:29Speaker 3: going to blow the rest of the world away.
- 50:32Speaker 5: And I am yet to see any evidence of it.
- 50:35Speaker 5: What do you think we should do? Get rid of him?
- 50:37Speaker 3: No, not get rid of him, but he's certainly not
- 50:40Speaker 3: the blazing star that we thought he was going to be.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Well, I think the fact that he has won eight
- 50:46Speaker 6: consecutive super titles with the Crusaders whatever it was, seven
- 50:50Speaker 6: or nine suggest that he is a very very good coach.
- 50:52Speaker 5: He is a very good the only person for the job.
- 50:55Speaker 6: If it's going to take a bit longer for them
- 50:57Speaker 6: to get it right, I would like them to be
- 50:59Speaker 6: playing well, you know what, I really love. I'd like
- 51:01Speaker 6: to see them improving every week. Yes, it would be nice,
- 51:03Speaker 6: you know what. I have seen that at all. But
- 51:06Speaker 6: you just got to get him behind it. Yeah, I
- 51:08Speaker 6: think comparatively, if it was Ian Foster at the same time,
- 51:11Speaker 6: he'd beginning and he was.
- 51:13Speaker 5: Drawn and quartered.
- 51:14Speaker 6: By this point he was drawn and it is, I agree,
- 51:18Speaker 6: but there's no point bagging him. We're just going to
- 51:21Speaker 6: get him behind, hope for the best, and then if
- 51:23Speaker 6: we have to, we'll get rid of him later.
- 51:25Speaker 7: Do you think, all right, question time?
- 51:27Speaker 4: Do you think at this point of this year the
- 51:30Speaker 4: All Blacks are better than the All Blacks were at
- 51:33Speaker 4: this point last year?
- 51:34Speaker 5: I can't remember what happened.
- 51:34Speaker 7: Like I tell either, I think they're the same.
- 51:37Speaker 3: And to your point, Margie, you know what, you want
- 51:40Speaker 3: to see them improving. What I also want to see
- 51:42Speaker 3: is some kind of game plan. I don't see a
- 51:44Speaker 3: game plan. The interesting thing about this last Test match,
- 51:48Speaker 3: we didn't take one single bomb the entire match. We've
- 51:54Speaker 3: got we didn't got. We got dominated in the air.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Every time they kicked, we either not on or they
- 52:01Speaker 3: got the ball back. It was a disgrace. So it
- 52:04Speaker 3: is really frustrating.
- 52:06Speaker 6: Because there was a huge amount of talent in there.
- 52:09Speaker 6: There is a huge amount of talent.
- 52:11Speaker 4: But twenty twenty seven is the Rugby World Cup, right,
- 52:13Speaker 4: that's still a fair way away, it is.
- 52:15Speaker 6: That's right, there's a couple of years to go. There
- 52:17Speaker 6: are plenty of water. Hey, who knows what everything's up
- 52:21Speaker 6: in the aj is? Can I just put it to
- 52:22Speaker 6: you that one?
- 52:22Speaker 7: Yeah, sure, way off man.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Of course, the Australians upset the South Africans and their
- 52:27Speaker 3: first Test match over in Cape Town, I think it was, and.
- 52:30Speaker 5: That was a huge upset. It was, and every one
- 52:33Speaker 5: went well, there's no way they're going to do that again.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Because the spring Box were fum that's right, but they
- 52:39Speaker 3: actually gave them another really good run the box I
- 52:42Speaker 3: think ran away with it and they won in the end.
- 52:45Speaker 3: But it was a tough, tense battle, which means that
- 52:49Speaker 3: you know, we can't write the Australians off by any means.
- 52:52Speaker 6: Yes, so they only got there in the last couple
- 52:55Speaker 6: of minutes ultimately won in thirty to twenty two. It
- 52:57Speaker 6: was the Australians kicking that let them down. There was
- 52:59Speaker 6: three piece, yes, So it's great signs for Australia and
- 53:03Speaker 6: I really am thrilled that they're getting better, to be
- 53:04Speaker 6: honest with you, because the more even the better. It
- 53:06Speaker 6: doesn't I don't. I don't enjoy watching the All Blacks
- 53:10Speaker 6: win every single week. I'd rather watch good rugby. The
- 53:12Speaker 6: problem that we've got at the moment is it's not
- 53:14Speaker 6: good rugby. No, he's got their Dallas. There's so many roles,
- 53:18Speaker 6: people getting yellow carded left front in seader for ridiculous things.
- 53:23Speaker 7: And this.
- 53:23Speaker 6: I grew up loving rugby union. It is the international game.
- 53:28Speaker 6: I cannot be more clear. It is shit. It is
- 53:31Speaker 6: so hard to watch and I am it is a
- 53:34Speaker 6: huge effort for me to sit through those games because
- 53:37Speaker 6: it's completely, it's completely not entertaining. Now on the flip
- 53:40Speaker 6: side of that, I watched Wakator play against Taranaki for
- 53:45Speaker 6: the NPC ren fully shield brilliant, goes down to the
- 53:48Speaker 6: last couple of minutes. Great rugby, thoroughly enjoyed that. It's
- 53:52Speaker 6: just international rugby is a different.
- 53:54Speaker 4: Heaps of heaps of tries, you know what I mean,
- 53:56Speaker 4: Domestic Cup tries the NPC, it's free flying.
- 54:01Speaker 6: Protested that the red stays out of it more you don't,
- 54:03Speaker 6: and more importantly, the third umpire stays out of it,
- 54:06Speaker 6: so you're not getting dragged back five minutes to look
- 54:08Speaker 6: at something. Somebody doesn't put their hand out to tackle someone,
- 54:11Speaker 6: someone passes the ball into it, they get chucked in
- 54:12Speaker 6: the bin for ten minutes.
- 54:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:13Speaker 4: It's also the Woman's Rugby World Cup, which is officially underway.
- 54:18Speaker 4: The Black Ferns absolutely cruising to their first win.
- 54:21Speaker 5: They took Spain, was it?
- 54:22Speaker 7: They took down Spain fifty four to eight.
- 54:25Speaker 5: Yeah, they weren't happy with that though, but good victory
- 54:27Speaker 5: for the ladies.
- 54:28Speaker 7: Yeah, the whole archy.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune in on
- 54:34Speaker 1: radio hosts with.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Jesus there on the radio Hodankey Big Show. Now listen
- 54:39Speaker 3: up New Zealand. Do you need stuff doing around the house.
- 54:42Speaker 3: Maybe a new fence, maybe a lick of paint on
- 54:45Speaker 3: your interior or exterior.
- 54:47Speaker 5: Maybe you need your letter box fixed? Well I've got yeah,
- 54:54Speaker 5: what is it? Jason?
- 54:55Speaker 3: Our mates a hire hobby and they want to help
- 54:58Speaker 3: you out with all those chores around the house.
- 55:00Speaker 7: If you ever hired a hobby, no, need you nah,
- 55:05Speaker 7: but I've been involved with them though.
- 55:06Speaker 5: Here what I have really, yes, I have.
- 55:10Speaker 6: What was the job?
- 55:12Speaker 5: It was putting up jib in my room? Yes, you
- 55:16Speaker 5: know what.
- 55:17Speaker 6: I'm going to hire a hobby tomorrow because I need
- 55:20Speaker 6: to sort the door out at my office toilet door
- 55:24Speaker 6: because it's made out of M d if rather than
- 55:27Speaker 6: would so the screws just once they come out, you
- 55:31Speaker 6: bug it poked, so you got to fill it up
- 55:33Speaker 6: with an epoxy or something like that, waiting for it
- 55:35Speaker 6: to I don't have time for that, even though I'd
- 55:38Speaker 6: find it really easy to do. So I'm going to
- 55:40Speaker 6: hire a hobby and I'm going to get a or
- 55:42Speaker 6: her to come around and sort it out. Yeah, yeah,
- 55:45Speaker 6: and I'll let you know how I go.
- 55:46Speaker 5: How about that?
- 55:47Speaker 4: Yeah, good, because that door has only been broken for
- 55:48Speaker 4: like a year, so it'd be nice to broken and
- 55:50Speaker 4: then repeared broken and then repaired broken in repaired.
- 55:53Speaker 5: But then mate pointed out to me, it's empty if
- 55:55Speaker 5: you bug it. Yeah, if it was it here, wouldn't
- 55:57Speaker 5: it be hire a wife? Well? No, Well this is
- 56:00Speaker 5: the thing.
- 56:01Speaker 6: What kind of marriage were we talking about here? Oftentimes
- 56:03Speaker 6: if you're in a gay relationship, Jase, they might refer
- 56:06Speaker 6: to each other as habbies. Right, nothing wrong with that?
- 56:09Speaker 6: What are you saying there's something wrong with it? No?
- 56:10Speaker 5: Not at all offensive, man, Holy hell.

- 59:02Speaker 4: some advice. I listened to the podcast while I do
- 59:04Speaker 4: my very vanilla corporate job. The problem is I often
- 59:08Speaker 4: have a little laugh to myself and get asked what's
- 59:11Speaker 4: so funny?
- 59:12Speaker 6: What's so funny?
- 59:13Speaker 7: Usually I would dismiss the question, but one day I
- 59:15Speaker 7: decided to be open and honest. This led to me
- 59:18Speaker 7: trying to explain to my boss, who is twenty years
- 59:20Speaker 7: older than I am, what Shager's back was and how
- 59:23Speaker 7: it occurs. It's safe to say I was met with
- 59:27Speaker 7: a face of disgust, disappointment, and despair. How would you,
- 59:30Speaker 7: fellows approach this? Cheers Anonymous. It's tough one.
- 59:37Speaker 5: I don't recall us talking about Shagar's back, I mean
- 59:40Speaker 5: from it. Well, that's the thing.
- 59:41Speaker 7: I don't recall us talking about it. No, I recall
- 59:43Speaker 7: you talking about it, But you've been had that affliction
- 59:46Speaker 7: for years though.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just been a concentt all my life. It's
- 59:52Speaker 3: none of us his business. Quite frankly, I wouldn't bother.
- 59:56Speaker 5: Right turn of mind as beeswax. Yeah, what he listens
- 59:59Speaker 5: to it his personal time at work personal. It is
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: his business.
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: But also you can see how the other guy's business.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: But you can see how like if you're sitting in
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: an office it's quie, everyone's working and one guy keeps like.
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: Yeah, you know you want to be what's this?
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: What's this?
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: Stuf's so funny? Man share the joke?
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: Yeah, And I get that, but you just have to say, oh,
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: you know, I had to be there, had.
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: To be there because apparently he's been not telling the
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: guy what the thing is for ages and then all
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: of a sudden he decided to share it.
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: Yeah, so you just go back to not sharing it,
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: you're right, okay?
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: Or you can say there's something about meat petty nips.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: The guy get that, he could tell him about this
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: new giveaway that we're doing Crank the hog totally.
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, good way to crowbar that promo.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: And I had I have a similar experience when I'm
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: trying to explain to my daughter's my Spotify and they're like,
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: why do you listen to that?
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: And I have to explain?
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: And when you play that, you like to ruin the
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: Throbber every Friday.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: When you try to explain something, you're already fighting a
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: lost ward man, And particularly with humor, if you're explaining humor,
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: just cut your arm off right now.

- 1:02:05Speaker 5: Moggie?
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: Because we had that great end of show music that

- 1:02:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: It'll be word of getting home and finding out. See sadly,
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: but we had takeaways last night. You see, we had
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: Reburger last night, so I don't really want Reburger tonight.
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: Nothing in personal Reburger. But I also don't really want takeaway.
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: So we'll see what we've got because I had a
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: look in the fridge and there's nothing in there.
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: See.
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: You're very different to Jason and I where we both
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: like to know what we're coming home to because I
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: like to picture dinner right, But you doesn't bother me,

- 1:03:05Speaker 7: We're making big mac tacos.
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: The thing is, if I hear what I'm getting now,
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: then my wife won't here, won't be able to see
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: the disappointment on my face. If I come home and
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: go what's for dinner and she tells me, then she
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: gets to see me and how gassed I am live?
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: Yeah, right, and that's what is Yeah, Okay.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: That drives, That drives, that's my motivation.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I wanted to have those tacos the other night
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: I'm keezy and my wife was like, I'm not really
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: a big fan of those.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: Oh really?
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: And then and then she said to my daughter, do
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: you like those those tacos? And she said no, not
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: really really, So that's it done and dussemon. What we

- 1:03:46Speaker 3: pumpkin soup.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: It's the best ever A one.
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: Sounds terrible, pity jay. Best in the world ain't number one.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: And the reason we're doing that moke is because we
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: had takeaways last night. We had a debarcle as I
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: discover some my excellent story at five over the weekend refoodah,
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: and I just felt we needed something healthy with vegetables
