- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it is Mark Simon Show on sevent Tenor.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Well, we got a lot to get to today. We'll
- 0:13Speaker 2: get to the latest down the gu three situation. We'll
- 0:15Speaker 2: get to President Trump, We'll get to the police commissioner
- 0:19Speaker 2: making some changes. We'll get to the Super Bowl, We'll
- 0:21Speaker 2: get to bad Bunny and a whole lot more. You
- 0:24Speaker 2: got forty degrees today, it'll be forty today. This will
- 0:28Speaker 2: really start melting the snow. You'll really start to get
- 0:30Speaker 2: rid of it today, and then it's going to stay
- 0:32Speaker 2: upper thirties and then maybe forty over the weekend. So
- 0:35Speaker 2: by Sunday Monday, all the snow should be gone once
- 0:39Speaker 2: and for all. Hey, you are only thirty seven days
- 0:42Speaker 2: till spring. That's five weeks, five weeks until spring begins.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Spring training today, teams doing their first work at today,
- 0:52Speaker 2: so we're getting there almost through the winter. Jobs numbers
- 0:56Speaker 2: came out this morning, very very very good, expecting about
- 1:00Speaker 2: sixty thousand new jobs. Who've got one hundred and thirty
- 1:04Speaker 2: thousand new jobs, Very very good numbers for the economy.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Wages are up, inflation is down, the Big Beautiful Bill
- 1:13Speaker 2: starting to kick in economy, improving Dow way over fifty thousand.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Average wages is for workers up a couple thousand this year,
- 1:24Speaker 2: and for the first time in a few years, wages
- 1:28Speaker 2: are going up much much faster than inflation, So that's
- 1:31Speaker 2: good news. The Guthrie kidnapping, well, I'm sure you've seen
- 1:36Speaker 2: the doorbell camera. The few things that are obvious. They're
- 1:42Speaker 2: not the most elaborate professional kidnapping. This one slow bumbling
- 1:48Speaker 2: sort of guy who gets there and looks surprised to
- 1:52Speaker 2: see that doorbell camera there and looks at it, and
- 1:57Speaker 2: the fact that he was surprised by it is now
- 1:59Speaker 2: telling him that maybe maybe there wasn't a lot of
- 2:02Speaker 2: casing the place first, or surveillance first, or knowing the
- 2:06Speaker 2: place really well before they got there. Now the guy
- 2:10Speaker 2: is bundled up like crazy. He is covered head to
- 2:14Speaker 2: toe in You remember, this is Tucson, Arizona, where it's
- 2:16Speaker 2: very warm. Why would anybody have what looks like, you know,
- 2:19Speaker 2: he's going skiing or something. It looks like he's an
- 2:21Speaker 2: Antarctica bundled up in this puffy, you know, winter type outfit,
- 2:28Speaker 2: obviously trying not to leave any DNA on the scenes,
- 2:31Speaker 2: big puffy gloves over his hands, face covered except for
- 2:36Speaker 2: the mouth and the eyes. But all of that covering
- 2:38Speaker 2: up means, besides hiding his identity, trying not to leave
- 2:43Speaker 2: any DNA in the house. But here's the thing. It's Tucson, Arizona,
- 2:47Speaker 2: where it's very warm, and if you're bundled up in heavy,
- 2:50Speaker 2: heavy clothes like that, you're gonna sweat, and you're probably
- 2:55Speaker 2: gonna sweat a lot. So investigators are back in the
- 2:57Speaker 2: house right now as we speak, looking for sweat, looking
- 3:01Speaker 2: for they want to get DNA off. This person covered
- 3:04Speaker 2: himself up so he wouldn't leave any DNA, but if
- 3:06Speaker 2: he dropped one beat of sweat anywhere, that's got the
- 3:09Speaker 2: DNA in it. So they're looking for that right now
- 3:12Speaker 2: as we speak. They did detain somebody last night. Now
- 3:16Speaker 2: apparently they're looking carefully at anybody that was in the house,
- 3:19Speaker 2: workers of any kind that were doing work in the house.
- 3:23Speaker 2: So there was one they stopped last night. They've let
- 3:25Speaker 2: him go. Apparently he's totally innocent. They do say off
- 3:29Speaker 2: the record, they got a couple persons of interest they're
- 3:32Speaker 2: still looking at. Now. What took so long to get
- 3:35Speaker 2: that footage, the doorbell camera footage. You should have seen
- 3:38Speaker 2: that the first did well she has is it nester,
- 3:42Speaker 2: is it an Amazon camera? Whatever it is, you gotta
- 3:45Speaker 2: have a subscription to have the footage stored. You can
- 3:52Speaker 2: see it live, but if you want it stored and saved,
- 3:55Speaker 2: you have to pay for the subscription, which is something
- 3:57Speaker 2: like one hundred dollars a year. She didn't subscribe, didn't
- 4:00Speaker 2: have the subscription. So, as we kept hearing, none of
- 4:03Speaker 2: the surveillance video was saved, none of it. However, this
- 4:07Speaker 2: is not the local authorities now, this is the FEDS.
- 4:09Speaker 2: This is the FBI, federal government. President Trump has sent
- 4:13Speaker 2: all of the resources he can send. These guys are
- 4:16Speaker 2: highly sophisticated. So even though with it Google or whoever
- 4:21Speaker 2: I think was Google the company, but they didn't save
- 4:24Speaker 2: the footage. But these guys were able to go into
- 4:28Speaker 2: servers and find the footage even though it's deleted off
- 4:32Speaker 2: of Google. It goes somewhere into some server and it
- 4:36Speaker 2: takes very, very sophisticated work to find it, but they
- 4:40Speaker 2: found it. That's how they got it. Now there are
- 4:44Speaker 2: some people might get a little shake of surprise that
- 4:48Speaker 2: because they got that doorbell camera and they're carefully deleting
- 4:50Speaker 2: their footage for whatever reason. Now, they find out it
- 4:54Speaker 2: could be recovered by law enforcement if they absolutely had to.
- 4:58Speaker 2: So it took a while to get and what to
- 5:01Speaker 2: get deleted footage. You got to go through every possible
- 5:04Speaker 2: back end server, look through everything. Probably had to look
- 5:08Speaker 2: through millions of hours to find this. It was not easy.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Took incredible manpower to do it. Again, that's something the
- 5:15Speaker 2: locals couldn't have done. So off the record, these the
- 5:21Speaker 2: Feds are saying they got a couple of persons of interest.
- 5:24Speaker 2: There's a couple of people they're looking at. They said,
- 5:27Speaker 2: things are different in this kidnapping from a normal case.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Normally a ransom note letter would be sent to the family.
- 5:33Speaker 2: In this case, they're being sent to the local TV station.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Savannah Guthrie, course, works for the NBC network here in
- 5:41Speaker 2: New York. So why weren't the ransom notes sent to
- 5:43Speaker 2: NBC if you decided to send them to television? Why
- 5:46Speaker 2: the local two Sound station. Well, that suggests that the
- 5:51Speaker 2: kidnappers are local two Sound people and familiar with that station. Also,
- 5:56Speaker 2: the other thing is, normally you'd send something, some proof
- 6:00Speaker 2: of life. You'd send a picture of the victim kidnapped,
- 6:04Speaker 2: You'd send a picture of her tied up, you'd send
- 6:06Speaker 2: a recording something. They haven't done anything like that. Now.
- 6:10Speaker 2: They did want six million in bitcoin. They gave the
- 6:13Speaker 2: bitcoin account, and people looking at thatcoin account have seen
- 6:18Speaker 2: activity yesterday or the day before. They saw three hundred
- 6:21Speaker 2: dollars go into it. That's usually what the FBI or
- 6:26Speaker 2: law enforcement will do to track you down. You can
- 6:28Speaker 2: track down crypto. It can be done, and one of
- 6:31Speaker 2: the first steps you send a small amount of money
- 6:34Speaker 2: into the account and you can follow it through the blockchain.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You can follow it to see where it lands. You
- 6:41Speaker 2: can scrape bits of stuff off the different places it
- 6:44Speaker 2: goes through, so you may see another exchange or two
- 6:47Speaker 2: for a couple hundred bucks. That's them tracking it. But
- 6:50Speaker 2: believe it or not, you can track crypto. Now. This
- 6:54Speaker 2: could cause a drop in some of those crypto stocks
- 6:56Speaker 2: in a week or two, when all of a sudden
- 6:57Speaker 2: they realize criminals or whoever was using it for shady purposes.
- 7:01Speaker 2: You hedge fund guys, they may start to realize it
- 7:05Speaker 2: is traceable and that might cause a little drop in
- 7:09Speaker 2: crypto use coming up. So we'll keep following it for you.
- 7:13Speaker 2: We'll you know, if anything breaks. This could happen at
- 7:16Speaker 2: any time. They could announce something at any time. The
- 7:19Speaker 2: Epstein case, well, you can go through these files over
- 7:23Speaker 2: and over and most of it is pretty boring. The
- 7:26Speaker 2: Prince Andrew stuff is juicy, The Bill Clinton stuff is juicy,
- 7:29Speaker 2: but the rest of it is nothing. They have been
- 7:32Speaker 2: trying to go after Howard Lutnik. They got him in Congress,
- 7:35Speaker 2: he had to testify in front of Congress. Here's a
- 7:38Speaker 2: guy who had almost no relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Here's
- 7:42Speaker 2: the White House Press Secretary.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Secretary lot Nek remains a very important member of President
- 7:47Speaker 3: Trump's team, and the president fully supports the secretary.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah, now they want him fired because all he did
- 7:52Speaker 2: was one time he had lunch with Epstein. Now, if
- 7:56Speaker 2: you're going to fire people that had lunch with Epstein,
- 7:59Speaker 2: well that's every major figure on Wall Street. That's about
- 8:01Speaker 2: twenty five world leaders. That's a lot of prominent people.
- 8:06Speaker 2: A lot of people have had lunch with Epstein. Now,
- 8:09Speaker 2: the reason Lutnick got involved with Epstein, he didn't really
- 8:12Speaker 2: get involved with him, but the only reason he knew him.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Lutnick bought a house in Manhattan. He was married and
- 8:19Speaker 2: his kids and he bought a big townhouse on seventy
- 8:22Speaker 2: first Street, and the house next door, which literally touches
- 8:26Speaker 2: his house. They share a wall together. The house next
- 8:30Speaker 2: door was Jeffrey Epstein, so at some point he got
- 8:32Speaker 2: to know his neighbor. They talked. At one point Epstein said,
- 8:35Speaker 2: you want to see my house, and he came and
- 8:36Speaker 2: looked around the house, and then they started to exchange emails,
- 8:40Speaker 2: very very few emails. I think it was like eight
- 8:44Speaker 2: emails over four years. So it's not really a relationship.
- 8:48Speaker 2: And at one point and Epstein would invite everybody to
- 8:51Speaker 2: his house in Palm Beach, to his house in New York,
- 8:54Speaker 2: wherever he was, the island down in the Bahamas, And
- 8:57Speaker 2: it turned out Lutnick was down there in the Bahamas,
- 9:00Speaker 2: big vacation week. He was with his family. And Epstein
- 9:05Speaker 2: keeps it stop by for lunch, stop by the island
- 9:07Speaker 2: for lunch. So one day he does stop by the
- 9:09Speaker 2: island for lunch, but he came to lunch. He was
- 9:12Speaker 2: there for an hour. When he came to lunch, he
- 9:14Speaker 2: had with him his wife, his kids, and two nannies. Now,
- 9:19Speaker 2: some people think when you're testifying, just say a nanny.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Don't say two nannies. You sound too elitist when you
- 9:26Speaker 2: have to have two nannies for your kids. But this
- 9:29Speaker 2: is him and Mike Johnson. The speaker was asked, well,
- 9:32Speaker 2: shouldn't he resign? Everybody wants him to resign.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Flutnick is a great commerce secretary, he's not an extraordinary
- 9:38Speaker 3: job with the country.
- 9:40Speaker 2: And Thomas Massey should stop playing third again again. If
- 9:43Speaker 2: you had to resign for having lunch with Epstein, that
- 9:45Speaker 2: would be half the CEOs in New York, about twenty
- 9:48Speaker 2: world leaders. In fact, Epstein was always having people come
- 9:52Speaker 2: to his house for a lunch, and a lot of times,
- 9:55Speaker 2: by the way, you have to have every college president
- 9:57Speaker 2: of every major university resigned. They were all constantly having
- 10:01Speaker 2: lunch at Epstein's house. One reason is he was a
- 10:04Speaker 2: big donor. Now why would all these guys get well,
- 10:07Speaker 2: he had what they call check's appeal. He would write
- 10:10Speaker 2: your check. He would donate millions to a college. If
- 10:12Speaker 2: you had some charity, he'd write He wrote a check
- 10:15Speaker 2: just like that. As I mentioned Dick Cavott, and he
- 10:18Speaker 2: wanted somebody to finance his a PBS special, an American
- 10:21Speaker 2: Master Special four hundred and eighty thousand, Epstein just wrote
- 10:26Speaker 2: the check just like that. So if that's all he
- 10:28Speaker 2: wants in exchange, come to lunch, come to dinner, you
- 10:30Speaker 2: do it. And here's Lutnick he had to testify about this,
- 10:35Speaker 2: about this visit.
- 10:36Speaker 3: When you visited the private island? Did do you see
- 10:40Speaker 3: anything inappropriate during that visit?
- 10:46Speaker 4: The only thing I saw with my wife and my
- 10:49Speaker 4: children and the other couple and their children was staff
- 10:54Speaker 4: who worked for mister Epstein on that island.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all. It was an hour boat pulled up,
- 11:01Speaker 2: got off, had lunch with Epstein. There was another couple
- 11:04Speaker 2: with their kids, a lot of kids there, and that
- 11:07Speaker 2: was it.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Did you in fact make the visit to Jeffrey Epstein's
- 11:11Speaker 3: private island?
- 11:13Speaker 4: I did have lunch with him, as I was on
- 11:16Speaker 4: a boat going across on a family vacation. My wife
- 11:20Speaker 4: was with me, as were my four children and nanny's.
- 11:24Speaker 4: I had another couple. They were there as well with
- 11:29Speaker 4: their children, and we had lunch on the island.
- 11:33Speaker 2: That's it pretty simple. Now, what can we learn from this, Well,
- 11:36Speaker 2: don't invite Howard Lutnick to lunch, because look at this guy.
- 11:39Speaker 2: He brings four kids with him, he brings his wife,
- 11:42Speaker 2: he brings another couple with kids. He brings two nannies.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You invite the guy to lunch, all of a sudden,
- 11:47Speaker 2: it takes twelve seats. I mean, so don't invite him
- 11:49Speaker 2: to lunch. But he's a nice guy. I don't think
- 11:52Speaker 2: there's anything there. Listen, there's a lot of people I know.
- 11:56Speaker 2: There's a guy I know who's almost another Howard Lutnick.
- 11:58Speaker 2: He's a big hedgehom chairman. I don't really know the guy,
- 12:03Speaker 2: but he always invites me to parties at his house.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And he has great parties, all fine people. I've been
- 12:08Speaker 2: to three or four of them, and I don't know
- 12:11Speaker 2: the guy. I never talked to the guy more than
- 12:13Speaker 2: five seconds of my whole life. So the fact that
- 12:15Speaker 2: he stopped by with twelve people for lunch, it's pretty harmless,
- 12:20Speaker 2: pretty innocent. Now, when you get to Bill Clinton, that's
- 12:23Speaker 2: another matter. Because Bill Clinton was heavily involved financially with Epstein,
- 12:30Speaker 2: so is Hillary. It looks like Epstein was the guy
- 12:33Speaker 2: who helped launch and fund and start the Clinton Foundation.
- 12:37Speaker 2: The Clinton Global Initiative was a big Epstein project, and
- 12:40Speaker 2: he gave tons of money to the Clintons and Clinton
- 12:44Speaker 2: did a lot of stuff for Epstein. Epstein is trying.
- 12:48Speaker 2: He's a fixer who tries to open doors in other
- 12:51Speaker 2: countries for business. And if you're having a problem there
- 12:54Speaker 2: in India, why Bill Clinton can call the President of India.
- 12:58Speaker 2: He can call it ahead of any country heads of state.
- 13:00Speaker 2: They all loved Bill Clinton. He can get you right
- 13:03Speaker 2: into the President's office, right into the Prime Minister's office.
- 13:06Speaker 2: And he did that kind of stuff for him. But
- 13:08Speaker 2: it looked like, unlike these other people, with Bill Clinton,
- 13:11Speaker 2: there was a lot of socializing. There's Bill Clinton in
- 13:14Speaker 2: the pool with some women. There's Bill Clinton in the
- 13:17Speaker 2: hot tub with some women, now not underage, not underage.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Bill Clinton preferred older women, but there were plenty of
- 13:23Speaker 2: them around. So it's You can go to the Epstein files,
- 13:27Speaker 2: by the way, just google Epstein files. It'll take you
- 13:31Speaker 2: to the DOJ website where it's called the Epstein Library.
- 13:34Speaker 2: There's a search bar. You can search any name you want.
- 13:39Speaker 2: And it's fascinating to read the emails of some of
- 13:41Speaker 2: these people. And the first thing're gonna think is why
- 13:44Speaker 2: the hell did they put all this in writing? But
- 13:46Speaker 2: they're writing back and forth about everything. All the Epstein's
- 13:50Speaker 2: emails are up there, all of his texts, all of
- 13:52Speaker 2: his credit card bills. It's fascinating to read pay the
- 13:55Speaker 2: super Bowl second highest audience ever, one hundred and twenty
- 14:01Speaker 2: five million viewers. Super Bowl second highest audience ever, one
- 14:05Speaker 2: hundred and twenty five million, And there were a lot
- 14:07Speaker 2: of people tuned in just to see Bad Bunny. That
- 14:10Speaker 2: was the peak because when Bad Bunny did his halftime
- 14:13Speaker 2: show over one hundred and twenty eight million. We're watching
- 14:16Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty eight million. Now, that's not the
- 14:19Speaker 2: highest halftime Kendrick Lamar got one hundred and thirty three million,
- 14:24Speaker 2: but big, big reviews for big numbers, big ratings for
- 14:28Speaker 2: Bad Bunny, which I thought it was pretty good. I mean,
- 14:31Speaker 2: one thing he said, I couldn't understand what he was singing.
- 14:33Speaker 2: But hey, when I listen to the radio half the
- 14:36Speaker 2: artist singing, I don't understand what they're saying. Anyway, even
- 14:38Speaker 2: when they speak English, you can't always understand the lyrics.
- 14:41Speaker 2: But it was a colorful, lively sort of halftime show.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Now you know the Real Housewives in New York, remember
- 14:48Speaker 2: the original cast, Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer, Sonia Morgan, the Countess.
- 14:56Speaker 2: They were the original Real Housewives in New York. They're
- 14:58Speaker 2: all these old hags now on Palm Beach. So they
- 15:01Speaker 2: were going to do a big comeback show. Bravo was
- 15:04Speaker 2: gonna be a it's a big show. It's coming in
- 15:05Speaker 2: the fall. Original cast of the Real Housewives in New York.
- 15:08Speaker 2: They're all back, but Jill Zarin has been fired. She
- 15:14Speaker 2: was fired yesterday because after the Bad Bunny thing, she
- 15:17Speaker 2: put up this video ranting and raving about bad Bunny.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Now here's the problem these And I know most of
- 15:25Speaker 2: these Real Housewives, or I used to know them. I
- 15:26Speaker 2: stopped talking to all of them. They're just horrible to
- 15:30Speaker 2: be around. They're really really shallow people, really tacky, not
- 15:34Speaker 2: very bright. And when you're a you know, Abbi Yale,
- 15:38Speaker 2: she's one of those, and you're not that bright. Some
- 15:41Speaker 2: of those, how are you? Some of those are pretty bright.
- 15:43Speaker 2: These people not bright. These are low IQ people. So
- 15:47Speaker 2: she's whenever low IQ people like that try to talk
- 15:49Speaker 2: about anything political, anything in the news, they sound like
- 15:53Speaker 2: absolute morons. And she was talking about bad Bunny and
- 15:58Speaker 2: sounded like an imbecile and ranting and raving, and she's
- 16:02Speaker 2: being called a racist. She said at one point, why
- 16:05Speaker 2: would I know white people? How come no white people?
- 16:07Speaker 2: And it just sounded awful. They fired her immediately. In fact,
- 16:11Speaker 2: most of the real housewives of all those different cities
- 16:14Speaker 2: have come out and condemned her. In her defense, she
- 16:19Speaker 2: it sounded racist, but she may not be a racist
- 16:22Speaker 2: because I did know her. She is a babbling idiot,
- 16:26Speaker 2: not very bright. So and again, when people like that
- 16:29Speaker 2: try to talk about anything political, they get themselves into trouble.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But she has been fired and that's it. You know,
- 16:38Speaker 2: her family, her husband had a big business, Zaren Fabrics.
- 16:41Speaker 2: It's a huge company, big, one of the top fabric companies.
- 16:45Speaker 2: But I guess they sold it. She has no connection
- 16:47Speaker 2: to it now. So even Zaren Fabrics on their website,
- 16:50Speaker 2: on their Instagram put up a big notice we have
- 16:53Speaker 2: nothing to do with this woman. We don't know this woman,
- 16:56Speaker 2: We never heard of this woman. Pretty bad for her. Hey,
- 16:59Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one
- 17:02Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 17:06Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 17:09Speaker 1: K marmone on wo.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to h Bobby
- 17:18Speaker 2: in Carmel, New York. Bobby, how you doing okay? Good?
- 17:22Speaker 5: Mark? H Yeah. They they interpreted the lyrics the bugs
- 17:25Speaker 5: Bunny sang, and they said they were really x rated.
- 17:29Speaker 5: I don't know which pick of that, but I don't
- 17:31Speaker 5: know if you heard that.
- 17:32Speaker 2: No, what what did bugs Bunny saying it was x rated?
- 17:35Speaker 5: They said the lyrics were interpreted, which lyrics?
- 17:39Speaker 2: Which lyrics?
- 17:41Speaker 5: The lyrics that Big Bunny was singing.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Bad Bunny? I think he said bugs Bunny.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Yeah, well bugs Bunny, bad Bunny. What's the difference. But
- 17:49Speaker 5: they said the lyrics were x rated. I didn't I
- 17:52Speaker 5: heard some of them.
- 17:53Speaker 2: But it could be. That could be. But hey, a
- 17:56Speaker 2: lot of music is x rated. A lot of English
- 17:58Speaker 2: lyrics are pretty suggestive and x rated. Let's go to
- 18:02Speaker 2: George and beautiful Port Jefferson. George, how you doing.
- 18:06Speaker 6: I'm doing great, Mark, I'm just like the Epstein case
- 18:10Speaker 6: instead of been cleared up.
- 18:13Speaker 7: Where was he.
- 18:13Speaker 6: Getting the money all his cash flow to give the
- 18:16Speaker 6: people and curry face?
- 18:17Speaker 2: Oh, he was worth about four or five hundred million.
- 18:19Speaker 2: He was running a hedge fund, a wealth management company,
- 18:22Speaker 2: was a big financial guy.
- 18:23Speaker 6: That's where he got the money on his own work.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you can make a lot of money and that
- 18:27Speaker 2: sort of stuff.
- 18:28Speaker 6: Okay, I wasn't really sure.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Yeah, he had a wealth management fund. He had a
- 18:32Speaker 2: lot of billionaires putting money in there. He was managing
- 18:35Speaker 2: tons of money, running a hedge fund, running all sorts
- 18:37Speaker 2: of stuffy.
- 18:38Speaker 6: So he was obviously a small guy.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Yeah. He actually was a mathematician before he did this,
- 18:44Speaker 2: and then because of that mass skill, he was able
- 18:46Speaker 2: to figure out all kinds of financial things. And he
- 18:48Speaker 2: was apparently a genius reason a lot of these guys
- 18:50Speaker 2: put money in with him. He was a genius at
- 18:53Speaker 2: how to avoid taxes legally, how you could use shell
- 18:56Speaker 2: companies put it off shore.
- 18:58Speaker 6: He was thanks for clearing up.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Hey, ye, you got a lot of snow in Port
- 19:01Speaker 2: Jefferson a.
- 19:03Speaker 6: Lot, And don't tell people. Port Jefferson is great. I
- 19:05Speaker 6: don't want people to move.
- 19:06Speaker 7: More people to move it.
- 19:07Speaker 6: It's a great place. It's a great garden city. I
- 19:10Speaker 6: lived in the city.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Manatin Garden City is a great place. Port Jefferson. You
- 19:14Speaker 2: got great restaurants. You got prohibition that you'll go there.
- 19:16Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah, Yeah, it's a it's a great town
- 19:19Speaker 6: right near the sound.
- 19:20Speaker 2: At the hotel there that Danford. Everybody go there this weekend.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Just screw up George just to get George fire. Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Yeah, in the middle of summer, you
- 19:30Speaker 2: can't move in that in that town. Let's go to
- 19:33Speaker 2: Robert in Westchester. Robert, how you.
- 19:35Speaker 8: Doing, good morning, Mark, and thank you for taking my call.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Mark.
- 19:39Speaker 8: Last night, Bill O'Reilly had announced that as of today.
- 19:43Speaker 8: He said, as of today, if the midterms are being held,
- 19:47Speaker 8: that we would probably lose to Congress and tie with
- 19:50Speaker 8: the Senate. Now I'm praying every day for the you know,
- 19:54Speaker 8: President Trump in our country that with these numbers that
- 19:57Speaker 8: are coming out, I'm praying they only get even better
- 19:59Speaker 8: the president.
- 20:00Speaker 2: You remember something, all these poll numbers, everything you see
- 20:03Speaker 2: now means absolutely nothing. It's like trying to predict a
- 20:06Speaker 2: super Bowl winner for twenty twenty eight. It doesn't mean them.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Now I had no argument, So okay, great, Let's go
- 20:12Speaker 2: to Harold in Warwick. Harold, how you doing.
- 20:16Speaker 8: Good?
- 20:17Speaker 7: Thank you?
- 20:17Speaker 9: Mark. How Come?
- 20:19Speaker 10: How come Savannah Guthrie is making fourteen million dollars a year?
- 20:23Speaker 10: How come she can only I can only scrounge of
- 20:25Speaker 10: fifty grand for a for a ransom I'm to pay
- 20:29Speaker 10: for information.
- 20:31Speaker 8: This is ridiculous.
- 20:32Speaker 10: A million dollars would maybe loosen up some people around.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. A lot of people have
- 20:38Speaker 2: even law enforcing people off the record it said, it's
- 20:40Speaker 2: a pretty chinzy reward fifty thousand. The rewards should be
- 20:44Speaker 2: much higher. But you gotta remember in two sound things
- 20:46Speaker 2: are much cheaper. For instance, you saw the house. That's
- 20:48Speaker 2: a one point two million dollar house she lived in.
- 20:52Speaker 2: If that house were in Long Island, that would be
- 20:54Speaker 2: like a nine million dollar house. Everything's just cheaf. We
- 20:57Speaker 2: were in New jersey'd be like a seven million dollars everything.
- 21:00Speaker 2: It's an enormous house with a pool, everything. It's just
- 21:03Speaker 2: cheaper out there, So fifty thousand out there could be
- 21:05Speaker 2: like two hundred and fifty thousand. Here, let's go to
- 21:08Speaker 2: Lorenzo in Levittown. Lorenzo, how you doing good?
- 21:12Speaker 11: To hear your voice. I want the world to know
- 21:14Speaker 11: that Donald Trump, God bless him, has done more to
- 21:16Speaker 11: help American veterans than all the presidents after Reagan. And
- 21:19Speaker 11: he's done more than Reagan and almost much as that
- 21:22Speaker 11: FDR with the GI Bill, and the world should know this,
- 21:25Speaker 11: and also pose of war and vmcl antacts. We should
- 21:28Speaker 11: drop to the bowl Richard Valley animal practice. They help America, right.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I had to break it to you, But for the
- 21:33Speaker 2: last twenty seconds you were unintelligible. You were talking so
- 21:35Speaker 2: fast and mumbling. Nobody could understand one thing you said.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I had a better shot understanding the bad Bunny lyrics
- 21:41Speaker 2: than whatever you just said there. Yeah, Donald Trump, veterans
- 21:44Speaker 2: was always a major cause. He is going back to
- 21:46Speaker 2: the nineteen seventies. In fact, there was a time in
- 21:49Speaker 2: the I think it was the early eighties. The Veterans
- 21:52Speaker 2: Day Parade is a big thing in New York every year,
- 21:54Speaker 2: and I forget why the organization ran out of money.
- 21:57Speaker 2: They had no money, and for the first year ever
- 22:00Speaker 2: there was going to be no Veterans Day Parade in
- 22:02Speaker 2: New York. And then Donald Trump stepped in and paid
- 22:06Speaker 2: for it, personally financed it, and then took the organization
- 22:09Speaker 2: and worked with them and got them back on their
- 22:11Speaker 2: feet financially and saved it. But hey, when we come back,
- 22:14Speaker 2: the brilliant Steve Forbes Big Job number came out today.
- 22:18Speaker 2: We'll talk to him about the economy, about the midterms,
- 22:21Speaker 2: the country. We'll get to all of that next on
- 22:24Speaker 2: seven to ten wor the.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Mark simonell On seventen wr.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Well, we like to bring you this smartest people on earth,
- 22:33Speaker 2: and Steve Forbes is one of them, Steve Forbes, chairman
- 22:36Speaker 2: of Forbes Media, and you should get his latest book.
- 22:40Speaker 2: It's an excellent book. You should read this book. It's
- 22:42Speaker 2: called Inflation, and there's no better book on the subject.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Steve Forbes, How you.
- 22:47Speaker 12: Doing doing fine today? Good jobs report and we're having,
- 22:53Speaker 12: as you know, in the New York area heat wave
- 22:56Speaker 12: in the thirties after single digit temperatures. I feel like
- 23:01Speaker 12: getting out the sun lotion. It's quite wonderful. Yeah, shivering,
- 23:05Speaker 12: not so much. Job report was big, it was much
- 23:08Speaker 12: a double. I could tell it was a good jobs
- 23:10Speaker 12: number because I have all the TV networks on. I
- 23:12Speaker 12: see no coverage of it, so it must have been
- 23:14Speaker 12: really good. Well, and just just a little note of
- 23:18Speaker 12: caution the way they do seasonal adjustments, and with all
- 23:22Speaker 12: the government problems with the numbers recently, I'm waiting for February,
- 23:29Speaker 12: I think for you and Marshall finally get some sanity back.
- 23:33Speaker 12: But the number, though no denying, the number that came
- 23:36Speaker 12: in today was about two or three times what the
- 23:39Speaker 12: so called experts are estimating. So take what we can
- 23:43Speaker 12: and certainly, fourth quarter growth looks pretty good. There are
- 23:47Speaker 12: some very big roadblocks ahead, but that's true of the world.
- 23:52Speaker 12: But in the meantime things the arrows are green rather
- 23:56Speaker 12: than red in terms of the economy moving enjoy why
- 24:00Speaker 12: you can even if the weather's a lousy.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Ye, these are real jobs. In the Biden adminstration, often
- 24:05Speaker 2: they would just throw in government jobs to get that
- 24:07Speaker 2: number up. These are real.
- 24:08Speaker 12: Wow, that's why you hit on something very important. Government
- 24:11Speaker 12: jobs according to these numbers fell and so that means
- 24:16Speaker 12: that we have which you might call more productive jobs,
- 24:20Speaker 12: people doing real things.
- 24:22Speaker 11: Yay.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah. So in the Biden years they would go out
- 24:25Speaker 2: and hire a few hundred thousand people that would get
- 24:27Speaker 2: a job. Number to go on.
- 24:28Speaker 12: And by the way, they did a revision of twenty
- 24:31Speaker 12: twenty four, the last year of President Biden or whoever
- 24:35Speaker 12: was handling them, and the number number of estimated jobs
- 24:41Speaker 12: went down almost by a million. So so so so
- 24:45Speaker 12: much for his economic performance.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I don't know, he was. He was a pretty impressive president,
- 24:52Speaker 2: don't you think I'm kidding?
- 24:55Speaker 13: Yeah, oh no, you have to put make it plural presidents, whoever,
- 25:01Speaker 13: whoever was running it, whoever was running it behind the scenes,
- 25:06Speaker 13: including Missus Wilson aka doctor Joe Biden.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Now, the problem with government spending, one of the big
- 25:13Speaker 2: problems which people forget, is you're overpaying by about ten
- 25:17Speaker 2: for everything, I mean, the fraud, the waste. Are we
- 25:21Speaker 2: ever going to fix that problem?
- 25:24Speaker 12: I think the answer in this high tech age is yes.
- 25:28Speaker 12: Because one of the things that is coming out, and
- 25:31Speaker 12: especially it's amazing how these things really hit the critical
- 25:34Speaker 12: mass is what's unfolding in Minnesota. Twenty three year old
- 25:39Speaker 12: comes in and actually looks where does this money go?
- 25:42Speaker 12: And we find out about the Leering Center and other
- 25:46Speaker 12: massive waste. And so the key thing is and what
- 25:50Speaker 12: the Republicans have to get across. We're not toying about
- 25:53Speaker 12: taking things away from people. We're toying about taking money
- 25:56Speaker 12: away from people are stealing it from you and not
- 25:59Speaker 12: using it or stated purposes. And that Learying Center, so
- 26:03Speaker 12: called learning center, will stand as a symbol. And so
- 26:07Speaker 12: people get that, and that says and of course it's
- 26:10Speaker 12: not just Minnesota, it's everywhere Illinois. You name it, you're
- 26:13Speaker 12: going to find it there. And so if people are
- 26:16Speaker 12: dedicated online is doing some basic research going and finding
- 26:21Speaker 12: out where do these things go what are these people
- 26:24Speaker 12: being paid for? I think you're going to set in
- 26:26Speaker 12: motion of grass roots reduction in terms of wasteflespending, not
- 26:31Speaker 12: from hearings in Washington, but grass roots and that's where
- 26:35Speaker 12: you get results, not just with the federal budget budget,
- 26:38Speaker 12: but state and local budgets. People are going to take
- 26:42Speaker 12: in a good way the budget law in their own hands.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Yeah, now, what about California. Besides the fact that we're
- 26:47Speaker 2: probably going to find more fraud out there, but what
- 26:49Speaker 2: about you know, they'll get like one hundred billion for
- 26:51Speaker 2: a high speed rail and it's twelve years later and
- 26:53Speaker 2: they haven't built one inch of it. How do they
- 26:55Speaker 2: get away with that?
- 26:57Speaker 12: Well, they get away with it because there we have
- 27:00Speaker 12: very powerful interest construction interests that want things to do,
- 27:04Speaker 12: and we have very real needs in terms of infrastructure.
- 27:08Speaker 12: But these kinds of things are just political payoffs. You
- 27:12Speaker 12: you mentioned that train to nowhere and spending billions and
- 27:16Speaker 12: billions of dollars, and even if they ever completed a thing,
- 27:20Speaker 12: which they won't. Even if they completed it, the estimates
- 27:24Speaker 12: are you're only going to get a handful of people
- 27:26Speaker 12: using it, and so you're taking real resources created by
- 27:29Speaker 12: real people for something that does nothing, that is a
- 27:32Speaker 12: drain and diverting it for unproductive purposes and being polite here.
- 27:37Speaker 12: And I think the public is going to react against that,
- 27:40Speaker 12: and that's what we have to run against. We're not
- 27:42Speaker 12: we're not taking away safety nuts. We're just making sure
- 27:45Speaker 12: that the fraudsters are ferreted out.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Yeah, heytve Forbes voter ID. It's used everywhere. You can't
- 27:53Speaker 2: go into NBC.
- 27:55Speaker 12: Yeah, you're right about that. You got a Fox go
- 28:00Speaker 12: to NBC or any place you have to show an ID,
- 28:03Speaker 12: not to mention getting on an airplane. And so this
- 28:07Speaker 12: whole thing that this is a great smear against voting, well,
- 28:12Speaker 12: we've were states that have voter ID, like Georgia, where
- 28:16Speaker 12: everyone was saying, oh, this is going to throw hundreds
- 28:19Speaker 12: of thousands people off the rolls. You know, you've covered it. Voting,
- 28:23Speaker 12: voting went up to turnout went up, and people I
- 28:28Speaker 12: think one of the reasons people are one of the
- 28:31Speaker 12: factors in their sour mood is no trust in the
- 28:35Speaker 12: integrity of elections. The whole thing on redistricting, that mess,
- 28:40Speaker 12: jerry mandering. People just feel the game is rigged, so
- 28:44Speaker 12: they want it's overwhelming you've seen the polls, You've discussed them.
- 28:48Speaker 12: It's across every segment of society wants voter I D
- 28:53Speaker 12: they want honest elections.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Hey, yeah, it's a good good point. Steve Forbes a
- 28:58Speaker 2: long time ago, a couple of years asked you about
- 29:00Speaker 2: AI and you said, you know, back then, thought it
- 29:02Speaker 2: was going to kill us. It was going to wipe
- 29:04Speaker 2: us out, it was going to take over, and you
- 29:06Speaker 2: caution you said, it's going to be fine. It's but
- 29:09Speaker 2: now there's other things I'm worried about. Apparently it takes
- 29:12Speaker 2: double the electricity we can produce in this country just
- 29:14Speaker 2: to run AI. For all the benefits, is it going
- 29:17Speaker 2: to cause us a lot of headaches too?
- 29:20Speaker 12: Well, anything new like that is going to We get
- 29:24Speaker 12: the benefits, but also it has it has repercussions, and
- 29:28Speaker 12: one of them is they are huge consumers of electricity,
- 29:32Speaker 12: and the AI spending now is far above what we
- 29:37Speaker 12: might say really need because every company feels, even though
- 29:41Speaker 12: they there may be a temporary surplus, they have to
- 29:47Speaker 12: do it if they're going to stay in the game.
- 29:49Speaker 12: So these things are normal, they shake out. And what
- 29:52Speaker 12: it also underscores is in terms of electricity, hopefully it
- 29:57Speaker 12: leads to we can always hope polyN existed for a reason,
- 30:02Speaker 12: that this will bring about reform of the electricity grid
- 30:05Speaker 12: in the US and stop cluttering the grid, especially in
- 30:08Speaker 12: California with all these renewables that are expensive to make,
- 30:13Speaker 12: and when you go on these renewables, especially the windmills
- 30:17Speaker 12: and the solar panels from the beginning, when you mind,
- 30:21Speaker 12: when you need these special minerals, rare earth minerals, and
- 30:25Speaker 12: the refining which takes place in China you go from,
- 30:28Speaker 12: and then when you have to recycle these things, these
- 30:31Speaker 12: things don't last forever environmentally, they don't do anything for
- 30:36Speaker 12: the environment. They harm it actually at the end of
- 30:38Speaker 12: the day. So let's pull back on these mandates. If
- 30:43Speaker 12: somebody's got a good solar panel and it makes sense, fine,
- 30:46Speaker 12: but these mandates are killing the grid, overwhelming the grid.
- 30:51Speaker 12: So we've just got to make some major reforms in
- 30:55Speaker 12: what we're doing here and going to what we know works.
- 30:57Speaker 12: One is natural gas beautiful and even though it's going
- 31:01Speaker 12: to take years, a nuclear power is suddenly, oh it's clean.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Revelation. Hey, we only got a minute left. Steve Forbes,
- 31:11Speaker 2: you wrote the best book on inflation. Get his book
- 31:14Speaker 2: called inflation. So give us the scorecard. How are we
- 31:17Speaker 2: doing right now on inflation?
- 31:20Speaker 12: Well, in terms of nominal inflation, it's going up less
- 31:25Speaker 12: and there'll be some blips, but people still feel pressure
- 31:30Speaker 12: because while their wages are starting to rise again, it
- 31:33Speaker 12: hasn't had enough time and momentum for people to really
- 31:36Speaker 12: feel Okay, I'm finally getting head on the instead of
- 31:39Speaker 12: being on a treadmill. And one of the things the
- 31:42Speaker 12: Federal Reserve is sewing though, and that's why we got
- 31:44Speaker 12: to get Kevin Warsh and some other governors in there,
- 31:47Speaker 12: is that they're undermining the value of the dollar. You
- 31:51Speaker 12: see it against other currencies. We're a weak against things
- 31:54Speaker 12: like the British pound for crying out loud, and you
- 31:57Speaker 12: see it in the gold price.
- 31:59Speaker 2: You had.
- 31:59Speaker 12: Gold took a big hit, but it's still more than
- 32:01Speaker 12: twice what it was a couple of years ago. All
- 32:04Speaker 12: those things say the dollars wobbly. So we've got to
- 32:07Speaker 12: go in and restore integrity and believe in the dollar.
- 32:10Speaker 12: And that's what I worry about longer term. It's not
- 32:13Speaker 12: going to affect us this year, but longer term, great
- 32:16Speaker 12: countries don't have week currencies and that destroyed George W. Bush.
- 32:21Speaker 12: They thought they could gradually weaken the dollar, and it
- 32:24Speaker 12: ended up giving us the crisis of two thousand and
- 32:26Speaker 12: eight two thousand and nine, which is still coping with today.
- 32:30Speaker 12: Good countries have good currencies, Stee. Great countries have great currencies.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Steve Forbes brilliant as always, great stuff. Make sure you
- 32:37Speaker 2: get his book Inflation. It's the best book on the subject.
- 32:40Speaker 2: All of his books are great, but get the latest book,
- 32:42Speaker 2: and of course read Forbes and read his columns. And
- 32:46Speaker 2: we'll see all over television too. Steve Forbes, thanks for
- 32:49Speaker 2: being with us. Thank you all right, take care, hey,
- 32:51Speaker 2: don't forget Buck and Clay coming up today twelve noon.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Excellent show. In fact, they were yesterday with the name
- 32:57Speaker 2: the number one syndicated show in America, and then the
- 33:01Speaker 2: most listened to radio show in America Sean Hannity right
- 33:04Speaker 2: after that at three, Jesse Kelly at six, and the
- 33:07Speaker 2: funniest show it's on every night at nine. It's Jimmy
- 33:11Speaker 2: Fayla every night nine to midnight. Here on seven to ten,
- 33:14Speaker 2: wor give wr a bre said on the iHeartRadio app
- 33:19Speaker 2: to hear Mark Simone and all the wr hosts in
- 33:23Speaker 2: an instance.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Now back to the Mark Simon Show on wor.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Well, Hey, coming up in the next hour, we'll get
- 33:31Speaker 2: to the police, New York City Police Department getting a
- 33:34Speaker 2: little reorganization. We'll get to the Stonewall in quite a controversy.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Bruin there. You'll be hearing about this. We've got a
- 33:42Speaker 2: lot to get to in the next hour. I'm here
- 33:44Speaker 2: every day, ten to noon, or listen anytime you want.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Just get the podcast wherever you get podcasts. Back after
- 33:50Speaker 2: the news on seven to ten, wore.
- 33:55Speaker 6: Mark Mark Simon on seven ten wry.
- 34:04Speaker 2: It's gonna be forty degrees today. Why, it's going to
- 34:07Speaker 2: be practically Florida here today. So here's the latest on
- 34:11Speaker 2: the Guthrie kidnapping. They did detain somebody yesterday who they
- 34:16Speaker 2: thought was a person of interest. It turned out he
- 34:19Speaker 2: was a delivery guy who they thought had delivered to
- 34:23Speaker 2: the house. They're looking. They off the record, FBI saying
- 34:30Speaker 2: they got a few, a few persons of interest. That's
- 34:34Speaker 2: a little lower than suspect persons of interest. People who
- 34:37Speaker 2: want to talk to. Most of them are people that
- 34:39Speaker 2: had been to the house for some sort of work
- 34:42Speaker 2: and they're looking at them. The delivery guy they stopped
- 34:46Speaker 2: last night. They looked, they inspected his house, they looked
- 34:49Speaker 2: all around. They've let him go. They've determined he's not
- 34:54Speaker 2: not a suspect anymore. TMZ, who's been all over this,
- 34:58Speaker 2: has received a couple of They just got a third
- 35:01Speaker 2: ransom note sent to them. They're also getting letters from
- 35:04Speaker 2: people demanding money bitcoin, claiming they know from the video
- 35:09Speaker 2: who the person is and they want bitcoin in exchange
- 35:13Speaker 2: for information. So this happens a lot, especially with when
- 35:18Speaker 2: it's a big public case. You get all kinds of
- 35:20Speaker 2: false flags and all kinds of false alarms, so they
- 35:23Speaker 2: got to sort through them. But there's an incredible amount
- 35:26Speaker 2: of manpower. President Trump has put all the resources he
- 35:29Speaker 2: can on this. FBI, every agency they can put on.
- 35:33Speaker 2: This lot of manpower involved Savannah Guthrie. You know she
- 35:37Speaker 2: has a husband. He's been very quiet in all this,
- 35:39Speaker 2: but he's been online on his account posting the video.
- 35:44Speaker 2: And Savannah Guthrie born somewhere else. I think it was Australia.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Her father was working in Australia when she was born,
- 35:53Speaker 2: so the first couple of years lived in Australia, but
- 35:55Speaker 2: then the family came back to America and they settled
- 35:58Speaker 2: in Tucson, and that's where she always lived and grew up,
- 36:01Speaker 2: and that's why the mother was there in Tucson, Arizona.
- 36:05Speaker 2: So we'll see it's day eleven now of this, and
- 36:09Speaker 2: I've talked to doctors. Apparently you can if you've got
- 36:13Speaker 2: heart problems and blood pressure problems, you can survive maybe
- 36:16Speaker 2: a couple of weeks without your medicine. It's not easy,
- 36:21Speaker 2: but you can do it. She has a pacemaker and
- 36:24Speaker 2: you can do it. Now, we could see from the
- 36:28Speaker 2: last reading on that pacemaker that its spiked. It really spiked,
- 36:31Speaker 2: which means that was probably the moment of the kidnapping.
- 36:34Speaker 2: And when they kidnapped her, they took her away the pacemaker,
- 36:37Speaker 2: away from the iPhone and the Apple Watch and everything
- 36:42Speaker 2: that monitored the pacemaker. So all we know is there
- 36:44Speaker 2: was a big spike. If it kept spiking, it can overload,
- 36:48Speaker 2: you can stress the pacemaker, So anything could have happened.
- 36:51Speaker 2: So we just don't know. Hey, there's a little incident
- 36:57Speaker 2: here that's going to blow up, and you're going to
- 36:58Speaker 2: be hearing about this. It's going to become very big
- 37:00Speaker 2: in the next few days and probably over the weekend.
- 37:05Speaker 2: The Stonewall Inn in Manhattan is a big monument, landmark
- 37:10Speaker 2: for the gay community. The Stonewall Inn in the village
- 37:14Speaker 2: Christopher Park and the stone Wall Inn was such a
- 37:19Speaker 2: big monument and so important that they made it a
- 37:21Speaker 2: national park. It became part of the National Park Service,
- 37:25Speaker 2: run by the federal government, and the Stonewall Inn had
- 37:31Speaker 2: a gay flag, a gay pride flag in front of
- 37:34Speaker 2: it on the flagpole, big gay pride flag. I don't
- 37:37Speaker 2: remember exactly when that was put up, but obviously it
- 37:40Speaker 2: was a big, big thing. And now they've quietly taken
- 37:44Speaker 2: down the flag. They removed the flag this week. The
- 37:49Speaker 2: reason the Interior Department. The Interior Department runs it's now
- 37:53Speaker 2: part of the National Park Service, so it's run by
- 37:55Speaker 2: the Interior Department. The reason they took it down is
- 37:58Speaker 2: they said, there's government rules that on a national park
- 38:03Speaker 2: you can only fly the American flag. That's all. You
- 38:05Speaker 2: can't fly different flags. Obviously, it makes sense as a rule,
- 38:10Speaker 2: you want just the American flag, keep it simple. You
- 38:12Speaker 2: don't want all kinds of flags on all kinds of monuments.
- 38:15Speaker 2: So they took it down and put up the American flag.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Now the gay community going nuts, Democrats going nuts, the
- 38:22Speaker 2: media going nuts. You know, for the last couple of years,
- 38:27Speaker 2: they paid no attention to this place. But it's a
- 38:29Speaker 2: chance to attack President Trump. Mayor mom Donnie is going
- 38:33Speaker 2: crazy over this. City council speaker Julie Mennon it's pretty
- 38:38Speaker 2: common sense, but she's a Democrat joined in the outrage.
- 38:42Speaker 2: About one hundred people gathered at the site Tuesday, demanding
- 38:46Speaker 2: the flag be put back. Now for up to me
- 38:50Speaker 2: and put the flag back. What's the difference? You want
- 38:52Speaker 2: to put a gay pride flag? What's the difference? It's fine,
- 38:56Speaker 2: no problem as far as I'm concerned. But if that's
- 38:58Speaker 2: the Parks Department rule that you can only fly to
- 39:01Speaker 2: the American flag, I don't understand that too. But this
- 39:03Speaker 2: is going to be a big now. Actually, the other thing,
- 39:06Speaker 2: maybe you shouldn't take down a gay pride flag. But
- 39:08Speaker 2: this is a good thing because you got these crazy
- 39:12Speaker 2: trumped arrangement syndrome Democrats and media. This is all they
- 39:17Speaker 2: live for is to hate Donald Trump day and night.
- 39:19Speaker 2: All they live for is protest anger So you got
- 39:22Speaker 2: to give them something to do. It's been quiet. They
- 39:24Speaker 2: forgot about Minnesota. They need something, So give them this.
- 39:29Speaker 2: In fact, maybe that's why they took down the flag,
- 39:31Speaker 2: just to give these crazy something to do for the
- 39:33Speaker 2: next week or two. They'll protest, they'll yell and scream,
- 39:36Speaker 2: the huff and puff, they'll go all over TV, MSNBC.
- 39:40Speaker 2: They'll yell and screaming about this all day. And you
- 39:42Speaker 2: got to give these people something to do. These Trump
- 39:43Speaker 2: arrangement syndromes. You know, like when you have a dog,
- 39:46Speaker 2: you got to take the stick and throw it, let
- 39:48Speaker 2: them fetch it, bring it back, throw it, let them
- 39:50Speaker 2: bring it back. You got to play with a ball.
- 39:53Speaker 2: You gotta give them some exercise. You gotta give them
- 39:54Speaker 2: something to do. So it's the same thing with the
- 39:56Speaker 2: Trump arrangement syndrome crowd. You have to give them something
- 40:00Speaker 2: to get angry about. And I guess they gave up
- 40:03Speaker 2: on Minnesota. Ice is pretty much pulling out of there,
- 40:07Speaker 2: So this will give him something in the next week
- 40:08Speaker 2: or two to let him yell and scream about this.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Mayor Mount Donnie again, you got to give him something
- 40:15Speaker 2: to do. He doesn't seem to do any work at
- 40:17Speaker 2: the city Hall. Hey, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
- 40:23Speaker 2: is in Washington. He'll meet with President Trump today. One
- 40:27Speaker 2: of the things I'll talk about is Iran. Got to
- 40:29Speaker 2: do something about Iran. That's a big opportunity to get
- 40:33Speaker 2: rid of the Ayatola. This is the most horrible regime
- 40:36Speaker 2: in the world. You know, they keep yelling about Trump
- 40:39Speaker 2: is hitler. Trump is a fact. Trump is an absolute
- 40:43Speaker 2: angel compared to what's around the world. Trump, it may
- 40:48Speaker 2: be the first person to actually get rid of this Ayahtola.
- 40:50Speaker 2: And we'll just give you the latest example of how
- 40:52Speaker 2: bad the regime is in Iran. You know, they've been
- 40:56Speaker 2: executing protesters. There is footage that's so horrifying they can't
- 41:01Speaker 2: even show it on television. These Iranian regime has sent
- 41:05Speaker 2: people into hospital. Some of the protesters got wounded badly
- 41:09Speaker 2: and they're in the hospital. They're in hospital beds with
- 41:12Speaker 2: IV lines and breathing tubes. They've sent their security forces
- 41:17Speaker 2: into the hospital to shoot the patients in the head,
- 41:21Speaker 2: right in their bed. There's actual video of this where
- 41:24Speaker 2: you can see them coming to the hospital. Patient in
- 41:26Speaker 2: bed with an IV with breathing tubes attached. Security force
- 41:31Speaker 2: goes right up to them, puts a bullet right through
- 41:33Speaker 2: their head. I mean like like a salazzo, kind of
- 41:36Speaker 2: right through the head, kind of a bullet. I mean,
- 41:41Speaker 2: the sickest regime ever, absolutely disgusting. Hey, Jessica Tish, the
- 41:46Speaker 2: police commissioner announcing they did the State of the NYPD
- 41:50Speaker 2: State of the Police Department address every year, and she's
- 41:54Speaker 2: announced all kinds of changes for the NYPD. One. You know,
- 41:59Speaker 2: they have patrolled burroughs, the Manhattan borough. You know, there's
- 42:02Speaker 2: a commander of Manhattan. Queen's is a borough. But they've
- 42:07Speaker 2: decided to divide the Bronx into two patrol boroughs. There'll
- 42:11Speaker 2: be a Bronx North and a Bronx South. They'll divide
- 42:14Speaker 2: it in half. There's all kinds of logistical reasons why
- 42:17Speaker 2: that'll be better. And when they're done doing this, they'll
- 42:21Speaker 2: have an extra two hundred additional officers. It'll be easier
- 42:25Speaker 2: to control everything there. So this is a good idea. Also,
- 42:29Speaker 2: the training for officers, the academy changes in that that'll
- 42:34Speaker 2: give officers even more training. The three to one one
- 42:38Speaker 2: system will get modernized and work more efficiently. You know,
- 42:44Speaker 2: they keep you have to keep logs in the precinct
- 42:48Speaker 2: right up each case, log books, all of that it's
- 42:51Speaker 2: all handwritten, but they're going to digitize all that as
- 42:53Speaker 2: much as they can get more efficiency. They're preparing for
- 43:01Speaker 2: They got new technology can detect drones, but they got
- 43:05Speaker 2: to get a federal approval to take them down if
- 43:07Speaker 2: they see them. So they're getting that all straight now.
- 43:10Speaker 2: She also announced, of course, the appointment of Cardinal Timothy Dolan,
- 43:15Speaker 2: also the Reverend A Ar Bernard, great guy. These two
- 43:19Speaker 2: have been appointed co chief Chaplains. Both are Chief Chaplains
- 43:23Speaker 2: of the NYPD. They are going to name the Police
- 43:26Speaker 2: Academy in honor of Detective Stephen MacDonald. Of course, that's
- 43:31Speaker 2: a great idea, is a symbol of courage, forgiveness, all
- 43:34Speaker 2: of that. Some people wanted to Ray Kelly wanted to
- 43:39Speaker 2: be named after him, that would be great too, But
- 43:41Speaker 2: Stephen McDonald certainly a good a good choice. So good
- 43:44Speaker 2: changes to the NYPD will make things even better. Also,
- 43:48Speaker 2: she announced new weapons. You know, the taser instead of
- 43:53Speaker 2: a gun, you tase the person, but you had to
- 43:54Speaker 2: get pretty close. You had to get within a few
- 43:56Speaker 2: feet to taste somebody. But they got a new Taskee
- 44:00Speaker 2: ten that can work from forty five feet away. You
- 44:04Speaker 2: could be forty five feet away. It's a long way
- 44:06Speaker 2: from somebody. And apparently it's very precise and it can
- 44:11Speaker 2: carry ten probes. You can taste somebody ten times. It
- 44:15Speaker 2: has a reduced one thousand vold capacity compared to the
- 44:19Speaker 2: old one. The old one was only twelve feet at
- 44:21Speaker 2: the most. So this is pretty good. Hey, CBS News,
- 44:26Speaker 2: you know, you get the new head of CBS News
- 44:28Speaker 2: trying to clean up things there, unfake the news there,
- 44:31Speaker 2: get rid of all the biased, crazy, Trump hating partisan
- 44:36Speaker 2: So one of the things they did was they announced buyouts,
- 44:39Speaker 2: a big buyout plan if you want to leave. They
- 44:41Speaker 2: put together a real nice buyout package. Apparently at the
- 44:44Speaker 2: CBS Evening News, a lot of people are jumping at
- 44:47Speaker 2: the idea. A lot of them, like twenty people grabbed
- 44:51Speaker 2: it immediately. In fact, six producers all want to get
- 44:54Speaker 2: the hell out of there. They can't stand the idea
- 44:57Speaker 2: of doing legitimate, balanced news. They like the fake news.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Now they'll tell you she's interfering with CBS News, the
- 45:05Speaker 2: Evening News, she's tampering with it. Well, it's in last place.
- 45:08Speaker 2: It's always been in last place. It's a ratings disaster.
- 45:11Speaker 2: If it's in last place. Somebody should tamper with it.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Of course, you should change everything there. Hey, a lot
- 45:18Speaker 2: of you know, you know a lot of people in
- 45:20Speaker 2: New York moved to Florida. New York is doing fine though.
- 45:23Speaker 2: New York right now, Right now, as we speak, apartment
- 45:27Speaker 2: sales are through the roof and the high end, the
- 45:29Speaker 2: low end. If you look at how many closings we
- 45:32Speaker 2: had last month, we're up. Apartment sales are up in
- 45:36Speaker 2: New York. And the rental market, forget it, it's through
- 45:38Speaker 2: the roof. You can't rent an apartment. It's as big
- 45:41Speaker 2: as Everats just booming. So people are coming to New York.
- 45:44Speaker 2: But people did, some people did go to Florida. And
- 45:48Speaker 2: the big thing now are people from California leaving because
- 45:51Speaker 2: of the high taxes, because of the horrible government, because
- 45:54Speaker 2: of the terrible conditions. A lot of California money move
- 45:58Speaker 2: into Florida. The latest Marks Zuckerberg, the Facebook Mark Zuckerberg,
- 46:04Speaker 2: He and his wife just bought this right off Miami's
- 46:08Speaker 2: a little island, Indian Creek, very exclusive Indian Creek. They
- 46:11Speaker 2: just bought a house on Indian Creek. Two hundred million,
- 46:16Speaker 2: two hundred million. Hey, maybe, but they originally wanted two
- 46:20Speaker 2: hundred and five million. They got it down to two
- 46:22Speaker 2: hundred million. What a bargain? Two hundred million for a house?
- 46:26Speaker 2: This is one this is one of like twelve houses
- 46:28Speaker 2: he has. He's got a whole island of Hawaii. This
- 46:32Speaker 2: you know, when you're worth Let's see, you're worth three
- 46:35Speaker 2: billion and they can buy anything you want three billion.
- 46:38Speaker 2: This guy's worth like three hundred billion. Can you imagine that?
- 46:41Speaker 2: So two hundred million for a house, that's like two
- 46:43Speaker 2: hundred thousand dollars for him. It's absolutely nothing. Hey, a
- 46:48Speaker 2: special announcement. Will all amateurs please stop writing books? Please stop?
- 46:56Speaker 2: You know, in the last week I get this all
- 46:57Speaker 2: the time. Of the last week, I've had like twenty
- 46:58Speaker 2: seven people. I know. Yeah, I'm writing a book. I
- 47:02Speaker 2: will get like six emails. I'm a plumber. I just
- 47:05Speaker 2: wrote a book. Can I send it to you? Apparently
- 47:07Speaker 2: now you can publish your own book. It takes it's
- 47:11Speaker 2: very easy to do. You can even put your book
- 47:13Speaker 2: on Amazon and good for you, send it to all
- 47:16Speaker 2: your friends. But if you're a total amateur, don't send
- 47:20Speaker 2: your book here. We can't look at it. We're not
- 47:23Speaker 2: here to promote amateur books. Media has become so simple.
- 47:29Speaker 2: You can do your own podcast, you can do your
- 47:31Speaker 2: own book. That every amateur is trying to do it,
- 47:34Speaker 2: and I don't realize how crazy it is. It's like
- 47:39Speaker 2: me opening a medical office. I could do that. I
- 47:41Speaker 2: could rent a space and put a big sign up
- 47:44Speaker 2: medical offices and you could come in and I could
- 47:49Speaker 2: diagnose you. I don't know what the hell I'm doing.
- 47:51Speaker 2: I'm a total amateur. But it's a person that should
- 47:56Speaker 2: go nameless who owns a couple of big restaurants in
- 47:59Speaker 2: Manhattan and she's doing a podcast and a TV show
- 48:03Speaker 2: and it absolutely stinks. And then I run into on
- 48:07Speaker 2: the street and she said, I'm going to do a
- 48:09Speaker 2: second TV show and another podcast. I said, really, you know,
- 48:14Speaker 2: I'm opening two restaurants. And she said, what what do
- 48:16Speaker 2: you know about running a restaurant? I said, the same
- 48:18Speaker 2: thing you know about doing a TV show or a
- 48:20Speaker 2: radio show. So amateurs, please stop with the books. Hey,
- 48:23Speaker 2: speaking of restaurants, here's a somebody put out an article
- 48:27Speaker 2: where mom Donnie loves to eat. Now, one thing about
- 48:30Speaker 2: Eric Adams. He was a guy I liked going out with.
- 48:33Speaker 2: He was always at No Boo right over there, Philip,
- 48:36Speaker 2: he was at Bibloka all the hottest restaurant. He was great,
- 48:40Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. On the other hand, let's see where he
- 48:42Speaker 2: likes to eat. According to this article, Kellogg's Diner in Brooklyn.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Remember the snow shoveling when he's out there solving snow.
- 48:50Speaker 2: That's where he went afterwards. The Kellogg's Diner, Sweets and Things,
- 48:54Speaker 2: Cypress Hills of Brooklyn. He says he likes their Minican
- 49:00Speaker 2: coffee and leechy cup desserts. Okay, here's this other favorite restaurant,
- 49:05Speaker 2: Zob Zob in Elmhurst, known for It's what the hell
- 49:11Speaker 2: is this iceent Isa n icean cuisine. I don't even
- 49:14Speaker 2: know what that is. Oh, it's a picture. Look at that.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Here's another one of his favorites, the Boysja Hockey Restaurant,
- 49:24Speaker 2: known for Bangladeshi halal steam table spot. See that's what
- 49:28Speaker 2: I like, Adams. I like going to nobou better Italian restaurants.
- 49:33Speaker 2: He loved his other favorite, Mom Donnie, the Kebab King
- 49:37Speaker 2: and Jackson Ights. All right, he's not exactly Gordon ramsay
- 49:40Speaker 2: this guy, but that's all right. Hey, we'll take some calls.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Next eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten
- 49:46Speaker 2: is the number eight hundred three to two one zero
- 49:50Speaker 2: seven ten. Mark some moons on wor Hey, let's take
- 49:55Speaker 2: some calls. Let's go to Elinda and Long Island. Linda,
- 49:58Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 50:00Speaker 11: Hi doing?
- 50:01Speaker 9: Mark? You it's almost as good as yours?
- 50:05Speaker 2: Right, Well, you're in Long Island, you.
- 50:06Speaker 9: Have the advantage, Okay. I quickly I wanted to come
- 50:13Speaker 9: in about Steve Fourth who saw on before. Yeah, they
- 50:17Speaker 9: finally came to some kind of reasoning. Every time they
- 50:21Speaker 9: lowered the short term rates, the long term is what
- 50:25Speaker 9: they wanted went up just the opposite. And he also
- 50:30Speaker 9: he and Steve Moore both said that, you know, it
- 50:32Speaker 9: didn't make any sense because we're all losing value in
- 50:35Speaker 9: our money right in as the short term. It doesn't
- 50:39Speaker 9: make any sense at all. So now finally I think
- 50:42Speaker 9: now they're not going to lower it anymore because it
- 50:45Speaker 9: goes the opposite way. Didn't make any sense. Everybody say
- 50:48Speaker 9: lower it.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Steve Bore will be with us tomorrow. Well we'll
- 50:51Speaker 2: ask him about it. Let's go to Larry Paricipity, New Jersey. Larry,
- 50:55Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 50:56Speaker 14: Good morning, Mark. I thought the war was that the
- 51:00Speaker 14: American flag had to be above if there's any other
- 51:03Speaker 14: flag on a flag pole, the American flag had to
- 51:05Speaker 14: be above it. Why doesn't he just have these Pride
- 51:08Speaker 14: flag and the American flag above it?
- 51:10Speaker 2: Well, because apparently it's a national park and Department of
- 51:13Speaker 2: Interior rule American flags only on a national park.
- 51:17Speaker 14: Second question, how did they get into Guffrey's state? How
- 51:21Speaker 14: did they they break in? They never recovered that.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Well, yeah, we don't know that. Yeah, we don't know that.
- 51:28Speaker 2: It might have just simply ring the doorbell. And she answered,
- 51:32Speaker 2: we don't know, but it was two in the morning.
- 51:33Speaker 2: I can't imagine she would answer it two in the morning.
- 51:36Speaker 2: All good questions. Well, I think we'll see a conclusion
- 51:38Speaker 2: of this in the next four or five days. Let's
- 51:41Speaker 2: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing, Good.
- 51:44Speaker 7: Morning, Mark, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning, Mara. Mark. You
- 51:48Speaker 7: gotta love these Democrats. If it wasn't for a double standard,
- 51:52Speaker 7: they'd have no standards at all. Here we have man
- 51:55Speaker 7: mon Damie. He's all indignant about them taking down the
- 51:59Speaker 7: Pride flag, stunted the stone wall in. Meanwhile, he poses
- 52:03Speaker 7: for pictures with the President of Uganda, that sick looking
- 52:07Speaker 7: woman who wants to hang gays from the yard arm
- 52:11Speaker 7: or put them in a good point boy, put them
- 52:15Speaker 7: in prison for the rest of their life. Mark. The
- 52:17Speaker 7: FBI is probably doing this and they're not saying anything
- 52:22Speaker 7: with the Savannah Gutrie case the mother. When they're looking
- 52:27Speaker 7: for hits in Italy, when they're looking for mobits, what
- 52:30Speaker 7: they do is they send they over an area they suspect.
- 52:34Speaker 7: They send a drone that is capable of sending GPS
- 52:39Speaker 7: coordinates to the person controlling the drone, and where they
- 52:43Speaker 7: see any impression or the dirt or any terrain disturbed,
- 52:48Speaker 7: then they go over there with a ground penetrating radar
- 52:53Speaker 7: that the radar could go down some cases, down fifty
- 52:57Speaker 7: feet and they could see if anything's disturbed or there's
- 53:00Speaker 7: the shape of a Cadavin down there. Where's up? Where's up? People?
- 53:06Speaker 7: Where's uh Day from Chicago? Where's Stewart from South Carolina?
- 53:10Speaker 7: Come on, stew you know about this stuff? There, Adie,
- 53:14Speaker 7: I haven't heard them.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Oh, they'll be here. They'll be here. Well, Vincent, great call,
- 53:18Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Yeah, they have that ground penetrating radar
- 53:21Speaker 2: as seen once in a Colombo episode, to solve the crime.
- 53:26Speaker 2: But we'll see we'll see. But the latest that I
- 53:30Speaker 2: know is the guy was so covered up in that
- 53:33Speaker 2: video and who was wearing like a heavy park of
- 53:36Speaker 2: was like snow stuff and it's hot and tuoson. They
- 53:40Speaker 2: believe he must have sweated and dropped a bead or
- 53:43Speaker 2: two of sweats somewhere in the house or on the floor.
- 53:45Speaker 2: So from what I've heard, they're in the house today
- 53:46Speaker 2: looking for that sweat. It will have DNA in it
- 53:50Speaker 2: anyway when we come back, and Coulter will be with
- 53:52Speaker 2: us next lost to talk to her about coming up
- 53:55Speaker 2: on seven to ten WR. Mister New York Marsimo, I'm
- 54:00Speaker 2: the voice of New York woo Well and culture, the
- 54:06Speaker 2: author of a dozen best sellers, the Big column List,
- 54:09Speaker 2: and make sure you follow her on Twitter. A lot
- 54:11Speaker 2: of great stuff on Twitter, even better substack where she
- 54:14Speaker 2: has her column and she's got her videos and her
- 54:16Speaker 2: podcast interviews everything, and just go to and Culter dot
- 54:19Speaker 2: substack dot com and culture.
- 54:22Speaker 6: How you doing fantastic?
- 54:25Speaker 1: How are you? Markximone?
- 54:26Speaker 2: I'm good. Hey, did you know that you're in the
- 54:28Speaker 2: Epstein files?
- 54:31Speaker 6: I did?
- 54:32Speaker 1: I have been. I've been perusing the Epstein files. I'll
- 54:35Speaker 1: be My column is going up about a few highlights
- 54:38Speaker 1: you won't be reading in the New York Times. I
- 54:41Speaker 1: only saw a few of them, with Epstein denouncing me
- 54:45Speaker 1: for staying all over his case. As you will recall,
- 54:50Speaker 1: I was the first one to write about it because
- 54:51Speaker 1: it was all over the Palm Beach Post and no
- 54:54Speaker 1: place else. The national news media was not covering it.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I got the sainted Bill O'Reilly to cover it. He
- 55:01Speaker 1: was the first national media, first TV host covered He
- 55:05Speaker 1: had a really great opening segment on it. You can
- 55:07Speaker 1: find his opening segment, by the way in the in
- 55:10Speaker 1: the Epstein files. So yay, Bill O'Reilly. But the rest
- 55:13Speaker 1: of the national media absolutely would not touch it because
- 55:17Speaker 1: it was entirely a Democrat affair. It was, for example,
- 55:22Speaker 1: the the the name you never hear. It's just it's
- 55:25Speaker 1: unbelievable how this guy has skated away the state prosecutor or,
- 55:30Speaker 1: that's how what we call DA's in Florida, who spent years,
- 55:36Speaker 1: literally at least three years, going after Rush Limbaugh for
- 55:39Speaker 1: back pain medication, you know, seizing records, rating pharmacies, leaking information.
- 55:47Speaker 1: When when the entire Epstein case was presented to him
- 55:51Speaker 1: by the Palm Beach Police, who had done like a
- 55:54Speaker 1: one year meticulous investigation. They were getting collecting Epstein's garbage.
- 55:59Speaker 1: They were interview witnesses. It was because a woman, so
- 56:01Speaker 1: I think everyone knows now, came from les Palm Beach
- 56:03Speaker 1: and said her stepdaughter, fourteen years old was giving naked
- 56:07Speaker 1: massages and getting molested by a wealthy man in Palm Beach.
- 56:12Speaker 1: That's what started the investigation. They had seventeen seventeen witnesses,
- 56:16Speaker 1: including about a dozen I think maybe it was half
- 56:21Speaker 1: a dozen of the girls themselves, plus people who worked
- 56:23Speaker 1: for Epstein, butlers and so on. Had them all on record.
- 56:29Speaker 1: You can you can read at least snippets maybe the
- 56:32Speaker 1: entirety of their of the statements they gave. Present it
- 56:36Speaker 1: to the Democratic DA who was about after years finally
- 56:42Speaker 1: dropping the charges against against Limbaugh. And although he had
- 56:46Speaker 1: he had shown great enthusiasm for the case. And oh,
- 56:49Speaker 1: we got to get this guy because the police chief
- 56:53Speaker 1: was keeping him informed as they were collecting more and
- 56:55Speaker 1: more evidence. And we've got this and we have this
- 56:57Speaker 1: on the guy, and oh, very Christian was really into it. Yeah,
- 57:01Speaker 1: you stick it to this guy. We got to get
- 57:03Speaker 1: this restitution Palm Beach. And then he find out it's
- 57:06Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, big Democratic donor, and throws the case. Throws
- 57:13Speaker 1: the case. He and his assistant prosecutor put the girls
- 57:17Speaker 1: on trial, accused them of prostitution, asked if they were
- 57:20Speaker 1: committing crimes, went through their drug and alcohol use. Totally
- 57:24Speaker 1: blew the case and that's why it ever ended up
- 57:27Speaker 1: in front of the one prosecutor you've ever heard of
- 57:30Speaker 1: on this case, Alex Acosta, who Yeah, okay, he chickened out,
- 57:34Speaker 1: but not compared to Krishner. Krisher is his name, Krishner.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I always in Krishner. He at least got him registered
- 57:43Speaker 1: as a sex offender. Should just let Epstein walk. There
- 57:47Speaker 1: was no penalty whatsoever. He had to serve time that
- 57:52Speaker 1: wasn't decided by Acosta. Guess who was decided by because
- 57:55Speaker 1: what he fled guilty to was a stage charge Barry Krisher.
- 58:00Speaker 1: That home release wasn't even done by a couse. It
- 58:03Speaker 1: was done by the original villain in this case. This
- 58:07Speaker 1: entire sex ring could have been shut down in two
- 58:09Speaker 1: thousand and six except for big Democratic DA Barry Krisher.
- 58:15Speaker 1: So there's a little more information about him that I
- 58:17Speaker 1: found in the file.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he was a massive donor to democratic stuff. But hey,
- 58:22Speaker 2: he was also a big donor to the Palm Beach
- 58:24Speaker 2: Police Department, So good for them that they went after
- 58:26Speaker 2: him anyway, despite his donation.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Yes, I think at one state it started investigating him.
- 58:31Speaker 1: I believe they refused to take his donations.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Yeah, so yeah, you're you're in the files. I made
- 58:38Speaker 2: the files. Nothing good, nothing bad.
- 58:40Speaker 1: How are you on the files?
- 58:41Speaker 2: For harmless stuff? He was coming to some event that
- 58:45Speaker 2: I was the MC. My name was on the invitation,
- 58:48Speaker 2: and then Jackie Martling apparently had always emailing back and
- 58:52Speaker 2: forth and mentioned me in an email to him. But
- 58:56Speaker 2: that's it. Nothing, nothing bad.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Why this guy had a lot of free time.
- 59:02Speaker 2: Well, as you know, like a lot of bazillionaires, they're
- 59:05Speaker 2: all starstruck chasing celebrities, chasing Jackie Martling and Jackie introducing
- 59:10Speaker 2: him to Gilbert Godfrey.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Well, like a lot of billionaires who aren't making their
- 59:15Speaker 1: own money, They've never known a rich person making his
- 59:19Speaker 1: own money who wasn't kind of busy. Not this guy.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Well, I know a few that make their own money.
- 59:27Speaker 2: They just you know how they are anytime they see
- 59:29Speaker 2: a celebrity. I'm sure they chase you around Palm Beach
- 59:32Speaker 2: and where in Los Angeles and New York and look
- 59:34Speaker 2: to hang out with you in Epstein.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Not the amount of time he dedicated to it. It
- 59:41Speaker 1: was very clear early on that he was not in
- 59:45Speaker 1: a legitimate line of work.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Hey, I'm much of these congressional hearings where they're beating
- 59:49Speaker 2: up the ice guy and they're beaten up Pam BONDI.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Today the Democrats are yelling and screaming. They're really good
- 59:55Speaker 2: at doing these hearings. Republicans think at it. They don't
- 59:58Speaker 2: know how to beat anybody up in the hearings.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: No, what I would agree with is Republicans are very
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: bad at making commercials. I could do it in an
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: afternoon from yesterday's commercial. I mean that hysterical black woman
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: yelling at the guy, are you going to hell? Do
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: you believe in God? Mister blood? I didn't get her
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: name or his name, and then MSNBC cut to go
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: into a break, so I didn't have time to get it.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Ask him if he was a religious person, and what
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: do you think will happen to you on Judgment Day
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: with the blood on your hands. I would just run
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: that and then run the crimes that the illegals they
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: are arresting have committed because contrary to the Free Press, no,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: fourteen percent, only fourteen percent. It's not fourteen percent that
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: are criminals. They say, only fourteen percent are guilty of
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: violent crimes. And the way the free press, apparently and
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and the left defined violent crime excludes you know, kidnapping, embezzlement, robbery, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: all kinds of crimes. These are not all I'd say,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: they're guests in our country. I mean, you can get
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: deported for committing a slew of crimes as a legal immigrant.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Those are guests in our country committing crimest They go,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: these are people who aren't guessed. There's already got one
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: little crime of breaking in illegally.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Yeah, but these Democrats are great with the hearings, and
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: in fact, if the witness ever tries to answer, they
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: start yelling, I'm reclaiming my time, reclaiming my time.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: That's why I think these would make fantastic ads if
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: if the Republicans would do it right. But they always
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: hire some idiot consulting firm, probably the brother in law
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: of the candidate or some guy at the RNC. They
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: put together absolutely the most horrible ads, and I think
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: anyone with half a brain could tell them how to
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: do the ads as I just did. I'd run a
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: lot from that here and yesterday. They were monsters. I
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: particularly likes one that I can't think I'm that rich
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: scion do nothing.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Dan Goldman, thank you. I knew who you meant you're
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Dan Goldman.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Yeah, he had a when you write, he's the Chrescendova's point,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: that's not why my immigrants came here. Yeah, yeah, they're
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: your immigrants, all right, Yeah, Dan.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Goldman, he's Jewish, so I'm shocked that he would trivialize
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: the Holocaust, which is a horrible thing to do, by
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: saying these are Nazis and concentration camps to oh.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was That was good. But what
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I liked about it was the originality of it, because
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I haven't heard that at all.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Well, and cult the great stuff, and I make sure
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: make sure you follow her on Twitter, but also make
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: sure you're following her on substec because he's got all
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: kinds of stuff. A column comes out.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Today, right, I have the stuff you're not gonna read
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: in the New York Times about from the Epstein five
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: oh okay.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: We'll see it today and culture on Twitter but even
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: better and culter dot substack dot com and culter dot
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: substack dot com and Culter thanks for being with us.

- 1:03:43Speaker 2: set in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: his podcast. Now back to the Mark Simone Show on Well,
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: you've all seen the footage of the the Google Nest
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: camera the doorbell camera on Nancy Guffrie's house. But the
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: experts have been studying the footage carefully. The guy has
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: like a ski mask over his face. You can see
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: there's an opening at the mouth where you can see
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: a bit of a mustache, but experts analyzing the video
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: say that around the jawline, the mask seems to bulge
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: out a little, so they believe he also has a beard,
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: a mustache and a beard. They say his body is gait.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Everything indicates very physically fit, muscular sort of guy. Mustache, beard,
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: that's what they know. Say that his walk was very
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: slow and calm, he wasn't agitated. They noted he came
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: with a backpack, and the backpack seemed to be full
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: of stuff, which would indicate kidnapping. Normally, if you're gonna
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: rob something, the backpack would be empty so you could
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: throw things in there. A full means he may have
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: been planning a kidnapping, had whatever he needed for the kidnapping, equipment, stuff, tape, whatever.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: But that's all they know so far. They are searching everywhere, now,
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: the house, everything. Hey, we're out of time. I'll be
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: back tomorrow ten to noon. I'm here every weekday ten
