- 0:00I am owned by the one or nothing.
- 0:03We also call that unemployment. Where?
- 0:06Is that? Where is that?
- 0:08Where is that? Yeah, welcome to the pod,
- 0:10everybody. We have a large group here with
- 0:13us today and a really lit bread he is.
- 0:20James gave him some snacky poos we call Zins or Zimbabwe's and
- 0:25they hit hard when you're drinking.
- 0:28So anyways, we got Tim here, Tim Connor from the Tim Connor
- 0:31Channel. We have obviously James from Bo
- 0:34Disciples, myself, the unemployed contractor.
- 0:38We have Brittany from Brittany Jean Outdoors, we've got Josh
- 0:42from Podium Archer and we got Brandon McDonald from Brandon
- 0:47McDonald's Channel. I think that's the name of it,
- 0:50right? Perfect.
- 0:51Yes. Code B Mac.
- 0:54The ultimate purpose of this podcast really is to just make
- 0:59Brittany talk. Brittany did a live recently.
- 1:02Looks awkward already. Like.
- 1:04The look on your face is so bad. Come on.
- 1:06Yeah. In which case she met this man,
- 1:08OK? It's OK.
- 1:09Relax, it's all right. You're going to be fine.
- 1:11Don't throw up with the cup. She'd never met stars before.
- 1:14You know, stars. Stars.
- 1:16Stars, you're a star in my eye. OK so now this is interesting.
- 1:19This is the concept that you just like because she's never
- 1:21met stars before stars, but she's clearly met your boyfriend
- 1:26who has more followers than I do.
- 1:29Like wow what a fucking cuck response Oh my God Oh my God
- 1:35like you just. Said that.
- 1:36She. Met one star before and it's
- 1:39this one and he a lot of stars, you know, like, yeah, so
- 1:44anyways, we're trying to make Bernie talk because she said
- 1:46about two words in the whole podcast or the whole life as
- 1:50she's doing right now, so. We're I would like to say if
- 1:53somebody else was in the room, they probably would have prodded
- 1:56you a little bit. Prodded.
- 1:57Me well. Let's.
- 1:59Be realistic here. Like what got you into archery
- 2:01to begin with? A man.
- 2:05A man And how long ago was this? What is 34 - 21?
- 2:1113. 13 Wow that. Was very fast.
- 2:14So far. He's he's he's got gifts.
- 2:16We won't talk about what those are, Just keep it going.
- 2:20So. 13 years. 13 years. Ago, OK, yeah.
- 2:23And at that point you'd never fired Bo or seen a Bo etcetera.
- 2:26No, and so there may be a debate of of how far back this goes.
- 2:30When did you start with archery? Well, you could call it 12 years
- 2:34ago then. Oh, so she she was before you.
- 2:38Yeah, she was. Yeah.
- 2:39Yeah, she's got it. That's why she got into it.
- 2:41Fascinating. Yeah.
- 2:42So we have a really fun picture. If we can find it, maybe we'll
- 2:44pop it up right here in the pod. But the first time I ever shot a
- 2:48bow, and that's where we learned immediately that I was
- 2:51left-handed. We had to put an eye patch on my
- 2:54face. It's not about me.
- 3:03This, this, hold on, let's talk about this.
- 3:05This is what? Too much stimulant and too much
- 3:07depressant. Combined looks like.
- 3:11It's. Already introduced me to
- 3:14shooting and and then. I.
- 3:18Feel so it. Was all uphill from there, but
- 3:21ask her any some more questions about.
- 3:24Yeah. I know this.
- 3:27I know this is all yours. No.
- 3:30Well, we. Need all the questions.
- 3:31Yeah. But we're gonna, we're gonna
- 3:32give her a talk. So we're gonna, Yeah.
- 3:34Talking leads. So 13 years ago you met a guy
- 3:37and you were all smitten? I'd imagine Yes, Yes.
- 3:41And you just threw yourself into archery.
- 3:42What kind of boat would you shoot back then?
- 3:43A boat tech Admiral, ironically. Oh.
- 3:46That's that's a pretty heavy. Bow for a shorter drawing.
- 3:49Like that? Yes, Yep.
- 3:50Yeah, it was very heavy. What was your first like
- 3:53shooting experience? What did you do?
- 3:54What? Did I?
- 3:55I know I got into like the 3D archery pretty quickly.
- 3:58Should we, should we like, cover this person's name or do we want
- 4:01to not talk about this? Oh, no, You could say this
- 4:03person's name. He's still out there in the
- 4:04world. He's still living, alive.
- 4:05His name is Alan. Is he still?
- 4:06Shooting archery. Zallen that's crazy.
- 4:09What? Zalan.
- 4:11Says Alan. I thought she said Alan.
- 4:13And I think it was Zalan. Was this Zalan?
- 4:15Yeah, bro Zalan, we can. Call him Zalan, but it's it was
- 4:20Alan. Was Alan.
- 4:21All right? So that's a very much white
- 4:23name. So we know we're dealing with
- 4:24white man. Yeah.
- 4:25All right. Cool.
- 4:25Gotcha. Yeah.
- 4:27So is. He still into said things.
- 4:29Yeah, yeah, he likes hot. And, you know, that's how I got
- 4:32into it. The first hunt was a Turkey
- 4:34hunt. And I think that's kind of like
- 4:35what drives some little addiction to Turkey hunting a
- 4:37little bit maybe. Do we still have an amenable
- 4:40relationship or? We still talk time to time
- 4:43mostly about just like, you know, hunt stuff.
- 4:46Turkey hunting because you're in a Turkey hunting.
- 4:49Must we say it like that? That's Turkey hunting.
- 4:58It's insulting for me because at some point I need to accept that
- 5:01this is a a form of hunting that matters.
- 5:04Too many, it was like. Killing a a rat on the side of
- 5:06the road? Yeah, not not me, but.
- 5:09I do. Somewhat.
- 5:10I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 5:10I apologize. I.
- 5:12Don't. Agree.
- 5:14Let's just let's just move past that.
- 5:16Sure. I think there were struck often
- 5:18in the mountains and harvested a Turkey.
- 5:20You know Dagna well, you've been on a real hunt, you know what
- 5:22I'm saying? Says the guy who sleeps in and
- 5:24eats a nice. Foul.
- 5:25When I do strike off it's under the hills though.
- 5:28Yes, at like 10:30. OK, so, so all right.
- 5:33So how long was that circumstance or relationship?
- 5:37Etcetera. Five years.
- 5:39Five years. Oh wow.
- 5:41It's Allen. How far down to?
- 5:42It Allen. Yes.
- 5:43Allen, how far down the road do we get in the level of
- 5:46seriousness in that the circumstance?
- 5:50Am I supposed to not talk about this?
- 5:51Is he going to put those? Are you listening?
- 5:53I took them off. I didn't realize they were on my
- 5:56head Still I. Got them.
- 5:57Yeah, right. So.
- 5:58Anyway, I wasn't. Going to listen to the
- 6:00conversation. We got we got a guest of the pod
- 6:02coming in. Yeah, big entrance.
- 6:04Very good. What?
- 6:05What's wrong? What's wrong?
- 6:07With this very big. Entrance.
- 6:09Oh, nothing wrong. No, Look at.
- 6:11All right, so. Man, it's a dumb truck.
- 6:14Everyone's starving, right? Me too.
- 6:18Anyways, yeah, so it got very serious.
- 6:21Yeah, yeah. Did we have like, marriage
- 6:24discussions and things of that nature?
- 6:26Yeah. Why are you leaving me?
- 6:27Like what? I'm just listening.
- 6:29Well, what? What?
- 6:29You guys are so funny. What, what, what what caused
- 6:33this train to go off the rails per SE?
- 6:36I would say that I was probably, I'm not sure if I had to
- 6:42reflect. I would say that I was young,
- 6:45dumb. You know, there's a third part
- 6:48of that that we all know that you might not, that you don't
- 6:50want to say what full of. I never heard.
- 6:56That. Oh my God, never heard that.
- 6:58No. This.
- 6:59Card is so the leaving. Loins were frothing at this
- 7:03point. I'm.
- 7:06Oh my God. Podcast was supposed to.
- 7:08Go take a break. About a year.
- 7:15Good. I'm there.
- 7:16Yeah. So anyways, we'll get, we'll get
- 7:18back on track. But yeah, the.
- 7:19We were nailing the track. Right here, baby.
- 7:23God. Yeah, put your head right here.
- 7:27We have a new member to the podcast, Mr. Dodds Doozies,
- 7:31who's a full time film and creative director for Mr. MFJJ.
- 7:35Absolute legend. I'm a big fan, so a.
- 7:38Tiny bit and put them right here in the.
- 7:48Middle. You got a big dump truck.
- 7:52It is a big dump truck. It's like legit.
- 7:55Massive. African American derriere.
- 7:58Derriere. That one complimented it so.
- 8:01See, if you don't say it exactly right, you can't be a racist.
- 8:04So, so yeah. So Brittany, let me kind of
- 8:06change topic on this podcast a little bit just because it was
- 8:09wow. You.
- 8:10Like my topic? You know I love.
- 8:12It. Brianna smoked your ass so far
- 8:16this weekend. What?
- 8:17How do you feel about that? Yeah.
- 8:18Thank you. What?
- 8:20Yeah, this is true. I've been watching bro.
- 8:22Money yesterday. Yesterday it was an 18 point
- 8:25margin that was. No, no.
- 8:28No, he's taking a nap. The.
- 8:30Silver Line's pretty epic dog. We lost a guess game again.
- 8:34So, but how did you feel about logging?
- 8:36Logging the hell so far. Honestly, I felt good because I
- 8:40know that I felt better for most of the the 18.
- 8:44Targets. Than yesterday and.
- 8:47Come on, cuddling. That's that's really.
- 8:51That's really it. So in your head you want.
- 8:52I do feel like had we shot the last six targets that I probably
- 8:57would have. Shared technically be heard
- 9:00today. Not today, but yesterday.
- 9:03Today, yeah, yesterday it would have taken you a lot because we
- 9:08had only 5 to go and I was up 18.
- 9:12Yeah. You know, there's we.
- 9:14Should. Probably back up on this a.
- 9:16Little bit. How's the rivalry?
- 9:18Been over the years. It's been just like this.
- 9:21Just. All our lives nip.
- 9:22And tuck the whole time. Yeah, both like just.
- 9:26That's why she got into archery and then.
- 9:27Just like a wild honey badger. So who's?
- 9:31That was a. Crazy face right there.
- 9:33We're about to crash. Yes, we were.
- 9:37OK, let me let me try to add a little formulation to here.
- 9:40I want each person and I want to go around the horns starting
- 9:43with Tim and with Brandon. Great.
- 9:47Give you time. I want.
- 9:47I want. Like a nice crescendo.
- 9:49I want everyone to slap you in the.
- 9:50Face. I want everyone to toss a
- 9:53question in for Britney specifically that we can go out
- 9:56with beyond that if we would prefer, but the question is
- 10:00initially to Brit. Tim go help me to this.
- 10:03Just a question interview style. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:05Yeah. Britney, I have to lead into
- 10:09this. Have you been to Tennessee?
- 10:11Tennessee TAP? Yes, just Tennessee in general.
- 10:13Yes, yeah, many times. OK, such.
- 10:16Easy. No, no, no.
- 10:17But that was just a lead in to understand if she knew the area.
- 10:19The interviewer in yourself should be embarrassed.
- 10:22OK, I'll pop in next. No, but I wanted to lead into.
- 10:27So I thought it was a rapid fire but like our for.
- 10:33This century. Let's stick it continue.
- 10:36Hit one, hit one more. OK.
- 10:39I just wanted to know Mulligan, Mulligan.
- 10:43What's what's the vibe on Tennessee Tap?
- 10:46He has a first time. My.
- 10:49Person of attendance? Oh yeah.
- 10:51One might think a little wet. It's been very wet, but really
- 10:56never in this house. Oh my God.
- 11:03Oh my God. Great.
- 11:07Contact. It's hard to know where that's
- 11:09meant. It's.
- 11:14A collective audience knows. Yeah, yeah.
- 11:18It's been rainy and but the vibe has been really good.
- 11:21It's been my favorite Tennessee Tech I've ever done.
- 11:23I've shot this one every year for the last five years.
- 11:26It's a black. I'll go ahead and hit the next
- 11:33question. Other than turkeys?
- 11:38Besides turkeys and white tails, what's your favorite thing
- 11:42you've haunted? Besides Turkey and white tail,
- 11:44Yeah, Gator. Gator it.
- 11:47Was probably would go Turkey's gator's white.
- 11:50Really. And I want to know you're
- 11:54allowed to expand. You're allowed, you're allowed
- 11:56to expound on your question. So I want to ask I want to ask
- 12:00why you like Gator hunting so much?
- 12:02I think there it's an adrenaline rush, not like anything else
- 12:05when you're fighting, you know, 1000 dinosaur, dinosaur well,
- 12:09you know. Are you in the water?
- 12:11No like wrangle in them. I mean, you're on a.
- 12:13Boat, but they're right you. Know I didn't pull the light on.
- 12:16The side of the boat inside. You shoot them with basically a
- 12:18glorified harpoon. Yeah, out of a site like a 9.2
- 12:22ring. Correct.
- 12:23I mean. Yeah, a a a a cuck lot.
- 12:26Rating. Yeah, you're OK.
- 12:27So, you know, as the comments have eluded that and you just,
- 12:32you know, confirmed for us all that you are an avid lover of
- 12:37Turkey hunting, and the majority of this room thinks that's a
- 12:42little weird. We shit on Turkey, honey, is
- 12:44that? What is that?
- 12:45Is that? Why do you think?
- 12:48That people think. Powerful legs.
- 12:50Turkey hunters are so strange. Why do you think?
- 12:54I think as a Turkey hunter, like, I can't, I don't know.
- 12:58I'm outside looking. You're inside looking out,
- 13:00outside looking in. I don't know the phrase, but
- 13:02yeah, I don't get each of you. I I truly don't understand.
- 13:06It's like, what is it that just amps you up?
- 13:09Just really ruffles your feathers.
- 13:11As we could say there. You go.
- 13:13I thought it would be nice. Put on a phrase.
- 13:15Very nice, very nice. I just don't know how you can't
- 13:20be sitting in the woods. Subject change.
- 13:37He was having his own podcast. It would be very hard to edit
- 13:41this sound. I have heard that if that's
- 13:43something that you enjoy, that you might really enjoy like L
- 13:47cutting on the next level though Brianna went last year when she
- 13:50finished, she said she may never ever go back again.
- 13:52So well, you say that because you're you're carrying out like
- 13:5580 lbs on your back and your knees want to give out every
- 13:58step and you know, but then the meat goes by and you're like,
- 14:02all right, let's go again. And then 17 years later you'll
- 14:04draw another tag. But it is, I would say if you
- 14:08are a fan of like that, talking to an animal thing, like getting
- 14:12the Turkey to gobble and like them getting closer and hearing
- 14:16it and hearing all the other sounds that turkeys make, you'll
- 14:19probably have a heart attack when you get a a bowl to come in
- 14:23then because it is quite positive.
- 14:26It's a whole nother level of sounds.
- 14:29Only it sounds like a roaring dinosaur is actually coming at
- 14:33you. Only it's an elk.
- 14:35But, yeah, very interesting. OK, so you can't explain it, but
- 14:37you just love turkeys. Yeah.
- 14:40And all the things. That's why you guys don't love
- 14:42turkeys. What's wrong with you?
- 14:43All except him. Except him.
- 14:45Yeah. Well, Brianna, I feel like
- 14:47you're a. Turkey I am, but I.
- 14:48Wanted to put myself in your guys shoes.
- 14:50Makes sense for the question. But I do love Turkey hunting.
- 14:55I think it's because I like talking to the animals and then
- 14:59they talk back, you know, regardless of my how good or not
- 15:02good my Turkey talking may be. Dodds question for Britt.
- 15:07I got 2/2. Questions.
- 15:08First question, what is the biggest thing that you are
- 15:12currently working on in your shot process that you think
- 15:15needs work? That's a good question.
- 15:20Probably front back sight alignment.
- 15:23With my current setup I tend to dip a little low where I'm
- 15:29dropping. You know my peep below my front
- 15:32sight? So your feet to housing gets out
- 15:35a little bit. Yeah, so sometimes not holding
- 15:38quite, you know, but I, I do think I try not to overthink all
- 15:42of that. You want to get to a place where
- 15:45you're not going through every single little step.
- 15:47That should be muscle memory. And we're not our mind.
- 15:49All these wheels aren't turning. We should just be slowing
- 15:52everything down on the brain. Just focus on the the shot, the
- 15:55target, the shot and not so much the pin.
- 15:59But you know, when you're practicing, sometimes you have
- 16:01to work through these things. Does any experts have any?
- 16:04Maybe move your peep up a little bit.
- 16:07Just thought. So.
- 16:08Just just he's not wrong because I did just put these strings on
- 16:11last week and threw the peep in and then thought about putting
- 16:14it like it's a, you know, quick tie in.
- 16:17And then I didn't, I was like, yeah, that's a tie up thing.
- 16:19Yeah. You don't have to tie the peep
- 16:20in, it's fine. Another thing that.
- 16:22Just just. Shoot no peep is poor man just.
- 16:25Shoot it, snow. The bow and get you in the face,
- 16:27no? Tie in.
- 16:28He's got the scarf. You won today.
- 16:29How did they? How did you?
- 16:31I'm. So good.
- 16:32I'm so good at archeries. Another thing that could really
- 16:40help, I think with the people I met, this one's sort of for Josh
- 16:43specifically, but also for you, nose button.
- 16:47Shout out to Beaumar Archery. Put a nose button on there
- 16:49that's going to raise your head up and you'll be able to see
- 16:52them. Do you need bunning fletchings
- 16:53on your on? Your bonings just being you
- 16:56should have bought that you don't.
- 16:57No, no. OK, Black Gold 92, let's see
- 17:00what's up. Yeah.
- 17:01Definitely not. That's not the victories
- 17:03already, so I mean. Yeah, hey, you're.
- 17:05Somewhat there. Yeah, thankful you guys came.
- 17:09Over do you want to put the ad placement like right now?
- 17:14This podcast is brought to you by Yes.
- 17:22I had one more switching direct like 3 questions.
- 17:25Wow. I'm just praying to God he
- 17:28doesn't steal my head. That was my beer cook.
- 17:30Here you go. Cook, go get, go get a mildly
- 17:33warm. No, I do not.
- 17:35And I'm also going to get rid of every year reaction love on the
- 17:38Spectrum headphones. After a pod that involved a
- 17:42whole lot of tricks. OK.
- 17:45Second question. I thought this was entertaining.
- 17:48What is the biggest I guess thing, trade project skill that
- 17:56you are currently working on that you are excited to show the
- 17:59world soon? Also great question.
- 18:02Wow, I actually just started a side business.
- 18:07It is. It's in the box photography,
- 18:12essentially. So it's like a photography
- 18:15business, but with a special little niche.
- 18:18Gotcha. Yep, that's crazy because James
- 18:20just started in a closet photography.
- 18:25That's a gay joke. I love it.
- 18:26I love it. Totally not gay was the other
- 18:31guy with me. I'm the greatest straight man
- 18:33that's ever lived. Come on, come on, come on.
- 18:36Only one time in college. Yeah, but I haven't given a try.
- 18:40Not my thing. You didn't go to college?
- 18:44Yeah, I didn't. Ever want?
- 18:47Almost fast, but not quite. That liberal arts.
- 18:51Degree. I fought the good fight though.
- 18:54Oh, I fought the good night. I don't know about it.
- 18:57We're up to you. Mr. Jones, your question?
- 19:00Josh. How do I just get one Joshua in
- 19:02the thing? Everybody's had one or two, so
- 19:06you go one or two. I'm not going to lie.
- 19:07Let me preface this because I'm a little bit nervous because
- 19:10Josh has one question he got to ask on the Live.
- 19:14Did anyone stick around to the end of that?
- 19:16No, I can't remember. Yeah, they.
- 19:18Did. I'm sure.
- 19:19Are you? Are you?
- 19:20No, no, it's OK. So.
- 19:23Seriously. Yeah, seriously.
- 19:25What's your goal with what you're trying to accomplish?
- 19:28With life. With your with the the path that
- 19:31you've taken. So I'm in a kind of a weird
- 19:35crossroads, to be honest. I my day job is at the Sheriff's
- 19:41Office and which is really a night job yes and so I have the
- 19:46opportunity to continue to pursue that move to the road
- 19:49become an officer or deputy so that's a path I can take or I
- 19:54can continue to pursue this business in the side of just
- 19:59YouTube's really want like a passion project just bringing
- 20:02education and encouragement mostly to women youth and just.
- 20:06You know, good stuff to good people.
- 20:10And then my photography thing I just started.
- 20:12So it's kind of just some and a crossroads where I'm just
- 20:15looking and really just doing life as it comes now and then
- 20:18we'll see where it goes later. Yeah, yeah.
- 20:23Yeah, yeah. No, no.
- 20:27Are. You done?
- 20:28Less nervous. The color is coming.
- 20:30Back. We'll be marching.com.
- 20:32This kind of code would be Mac. That's right.
- 20:34She but that sham is in the shoe.
- 20:38She got out. Go ahead.
- 20:41No, OK. Do you, do you have any other
- 20:44like bucket list animals that you're interested in trying to
- 20:47hunt? And is it based on what the
- 20:48animal is or the area that the animal is going to be?
- 20:52That's actually a great question.
- 20:53Yeah, absolutely it is. Apparently mine wasn't a great
- 20:56question. No, told everybody else it was a
- 20:58great question. Yours was a good question too.
- 21:00I just thought I'm. Confused how we're interviewing
- 21:02the podcast folks is what? What's happening right now?
- 21:05But it was good I. Think it's good?
- 21:06Is that common? It's the only way to get her to
- 21:07talk. Technically, the hosts are right
- 21:09here. We're going to turn this around.
- 21:11I also really reserved. Oh, we're going to turn around.
- 21:14That's go ahead and answer the question anyway.
- 21:16So to answer your question, just one of those things I've always
- 21:20wanted to do. I don't know if there's a has
- 21:23nothing to do the landscape or anything, but Caribou to me has
- 21:27always. It's just a beautiful animal.
- 21:30It's you 2. Dude, I don't know.
- 21:31That's interesting. Yeah.
- 21:32Yeah. You guys share that?
- 21:33No. It doesn't matter.
- 21:34This is about Brittany. This.
- 21:35Is gone about this. Doesn't matter.
- 21:37What but but why Caribou though? Like.
- 21:39I think the the migration Alaska like what's?
- 21:43What's the thing? I think because it would be like
- 21:45the biggest hunt I've ever done, you know, and it's a beautiful
- 21:50animal. It would be a new challenge,
- 21:53something really different. And yeah, so it's kind of a
- 21:56bucket list item, but not there's nothing in the works for
- 22:00that, right? Now, have you thought about like
- 22:02what type of setup you would use to hunt Caribou?
- 22:04Because it's a probably a little bit farther of a shot.
- 22:07Which is difficult because it's something I've always struggled
- 22:10with because building a setup for somebody with a 24 inch draw
- 22:14length that's shooting 45 to 50 lbs, it's really not difficult
- 22:19to build like a whitetail setup for that.
- 22:20There's a lot of great setups for that.
- 22:22But when you're when it comes to something that you need probably
- 22:25a little bit heavier arrow, nothing crazy.
- 22:27Don't get crazy. What's crazy because you're at
- 22:29like 250 right now. Right.
- 22:31What? 255 is something I build just to
- 22:32go really fast out here to get over 100 yards.
- 22:36I usually build my hunting arrows like at 32320 to 3:40, so
- 22:41maybe something a little heavier than that, but that also limits
- 22:45distance, so it's kind of like a curse trying to figure out a
- 22:49healthy balance between those two.
- 22:52What broadhead would you what do you use though?
- 22:54The broadhead, Yeah. On a carrot I would always use a
- 22:57fixed plate. Likewise.
- 22:59I really don't know. Honestly.
- 23:00I've messed around with the years I've been shooting Slick
- 23:02Trick and then I almost was going to try something else this
- 23:06year and after. Just, you know, some recent
- 23:11stories from other women of similar stature and size
- 23:15shooting those such broad heads I'll probably stick to.
- 23:19Some start with AB and end with an E I'm.
- 23:24Not gonna knock it because I've never tried.
- 23:26Shout out to Beast Broad Heads, one of the best sponsors.
- 23:28Really good product. Go watch my video.
- 23:31Shooting a blast box. Bled like a fire hose.
- 23:34Pretty much so. Now I know you're going to do
- 23:44this on the line. I'm not going to be able to.
- 23:46So you can, you can take your time because this is not live.
- 23:49So we can edit all day long. We can chop, chop, chop.
- 23:52I'd prefer not to. I'm the one who edit, so I'd
- 23:55prefer that. But I don't care, so I'll just
- 23:59keep bringing this on. Until he's done editing.
- 24:01No, I wish there was. So we're going to reverse the
- 24:03order though you're going to go from.
- 24:05B Mac. I think she could ask in any
- 24:07order she wants the questions popped into her head.
- 24:10OK, sure. Question for everybody around
- 24:13she. Has to ask each person here a
- 24:15question. Question just it could be.
- 24:17So lame. Give me something so.
- 24:19Stupid. Like what brake pads would you?
- 24:21No, no, I do not want you to mail it in.
- 24:24I want good questions for each good.
- 24:26Following questions, you've had two days of interacting with
- 24:28them, you know, and and and learning about them and what.
- 24:33You can also just go by what she thinks about each person now
- 24:36she's spent time with them too. They don't have to think about
- 24:39like, what would I want to ask this person if you could just
- 24:42give feedback on your experience?
- 24:44Whichever would be first year question.
- 24:45That is a question, I suppose, I guess.
- 24:47Oh. 1st. Impression is a good one too.
- 24:49First impression. But the first impression has to
- 24:51lead to a question, I think. There.
- 24:54You go, yeah. So now you're doing two things.
- 24:56You don't have. To go do 1.
- 24:57Go with the one and then come back with the other.
- 24:59That's an option. Let's just enjoy this and just
- 25:01like, work your way around the wheel.
- 25:02Yeah, like, can't say, Sir. Yeah, just sit there and enjoy
- 25:05all just. So like that it's good.
- 25:08Embrace it, there was a question.
- 25:09Right there, just direct it towards somebody.
- 25:12James, have you ever tried being?
- 25:14Quiet have. A great.
- 25:16Question. He.
- 25:17Tried it once and it was terrible.
- 25:18Yeah, so I actually. Tried in college.
- 25:21We just wrote 99 so so we actually literally just recorded
- 25:24a podcast. You tried being quiet.
- 25:27So we just recorded Josh and Tim podcast featuring Brendan
- 25:31McDonald and myself, and I tried really hard.
- 25:33I set the mic down on my knee and just tried to cross my arm
- 25:37so I couldn't say anything. It worked pretty well for about
- 25:39the first time. I came downstairs.
- 25:42You're always talking. You want to go pump station?
- 25:45Black gold gets a 9.2. So yes, I have tried.
- 25:49My results haven't been maybe the best, but I've tried.
- 25:53Fairly minimal. Yeah, sure. 6.2 on on all.
- 25:57Right here. Let's just keep moving along.
- 25:59Let's go with Tim. Is it just popped into my head.
- 26:02You know, we're trying to trying to do this.
- 26:04That's beautiful. So is your name Tim or Timothy?
- 26:09That's not the question that I need to know is my full name.
- 26:11Oh shit. Really.
- 26:13Yeah. I didn't know that.
- 26:13That's my formal. Bro, I cannot wait to call you.
- 26:16Timothy, does your mother call you Timothy?
- 26:18All you can. And I yeah, probably.
- 26:20Look, Timothy, that's nice. All right.
- 26:22So Timothy, I, I don't know a whole lot about you to be
- 26:26honest, and I do know something about you do golf.
- 26:31That's a thing. Golf.
- 26:32Is my profession. I teach golf.
- 26:33Golf is your profession. You teach golf.
- 26:35I like people with their golf games.
- 26:36Interesting. All right.
- 26:37And where where do you want that to go?
- 26:40Do you want to pursue more so that your YouTube archery
- 26:45interests or is are you steering more towards golf?
- 26:49Well, that's hard. That's hard to say.
- 26:51They're different things. Golf has been my career.
- 26:55I spent like 15 years doing it now and it's like 1000 hours a
- 26:59year doing that. So it's interesting.
- 27:06I really enjoy helping people like in general, if it was, if
- 27:09it wasn't with golf, it could be with something else, you know,
- 27:13But golf is kind of like been my launchpad and platform for that.
- 27:16And then YouTube has been like a creative outlet to, to, to
- 27:23almost like a side piece, a side team, for example, but to like,
- 27:27to like flex the creative muscle, you know, so I get to
- 27:31figure out how to tell stories and make stories.
- 27:34And it's been, it's been really fun.
- 27:35So I try to keep YouTube kind of pure in that way where I, you
- 27:39know, I don't think too much about trying to create money or
- 27:42revenue. I try to think about telling
- 27:45stories and creating good ones or powerful ones.
- 27:49And it's kind of nice to keep it pure that way.
- 27:51So I'm kind of living a little bit day-to-day in that aspect
- 27:54where I'm not sure where either of them will be in a few years.
- 27:58Yeah. I can definitely resonate with
- 28:00that. I think also makes a good point
- 28:02for people who watch YouTube and sometimes get the perception in
- 28:06their head that just because someone's on YouTube, they're
- 28:08trying to make it big on YouTube or make that their job or their
- 28:10career and it just being a creative outlet.
- 28:15Yeah, Yep. I don't always have interesting
- 28:17information to share, but I enjoy the editing process, the
- 28:21filming process for other people.
- 28:24So that's, that's very neat. Thank you for sharing.
- 28:27Yeah, thank you for sharing. Is that was.
- 28:29Kind. Insane.
- 28:31I don't have. Any questions for?
- 28:37You shut them up. From So nice to so me.
- 28:42A. Question.
- 28:44Anyways, yeah, I don't know that I have any questions for you
- 28:47either. Let me ask you a joint question.
- 28:49OK. So I always kind of know the
- 28:52answer, but I want you to say it for the four.
- 28:53Oh my. Babies.
- 28:57No. What was the question?
- 28:59When are you guys going to joint together and make a plug in on
- 29:06the future little we? Know you're waiting for mirror.
- 29:10Motorcycle, yes. Oh, a future motorcycle.
- 29:13Baby. Baby bows maybe different
- 29:16answers may. Differ on this.
- 29:17One second field, James starting to squirm.
- 29:19Yeah, this is interesting. Actually, you might be saying
- 29:22that, but we would be squirming in the different direction, an
- 29:25opposite direction of what you're most likely thinking.
- 29:28James could pop out a baby tomorrow.
- 29:30IEI have to do the popping, but I not so much.
- 29:37I am in the search for employment.
- 29:42James travels every other week. We live in a 900 square foot
- 29:48condo in which the other bedroom is an office, a storage room, a
- 29:51podcast room and and a spare bedroom when people are
- 29:55visiting. So where we'd like to put that
- 29:58child other than, like in a, you know, Foot Locker box in the
- 30:01living room? Yeah, I think they're small.
- 30:05Can't you just put them anywhere?
- 30:07They honestly yes yeah is the answer.
- 30:10Put them. You know, I love decorating too
- 30:12much for that. So it needs its own whole room.
- 30:15It's yes for brand has some valid points.
- 30:18James, how do you feel about those points?
- 30:20I think they're good points. Of course I am definitely.
- 30:23You know, I'm a big fan of James Junior, so I'm ready, you know?
- 30:26JJ, big JJ. I'm good.
- 30:30But we'll see. We'll see what the the good Lord
- 30:34blesses us with, and we'll go from there, you know?
- 30:38But yeah, I would love it. I'm a new uncle, right?
- 30:41So baby Bowen is 6 months old, my brother's child.
- 30:46And I love him to death, right? Like, I love him so much.
- 30:50And I'd be really excited to. I don't think so, but I'd be
- 30:55excited to have that situation for myself.
- 30:57So if it happened, I would be pumped up and we'll see what
- 31:00happens. OK, great.
- 31:02Wonderful. I will say just caveat that we
- 31:05had Moody. We were A1 income home living in
- 31:10a 700 square foot. Well, you're a breaker, soul
- 31:13than I am. It takes bravery, it does, but
- 31:15it really does. Where are you living in the
- 31:17state of California? I was living in the state of
- 31:19Montana. Bozeman, Mt.
- 31:21Which is very expensive. Bozeman is.
- 31:23Yeah, yeah, similar to your, you know what are.
- 31:26You and I would, I don't know. I would encourage you to
- 31:30understand that there's never going to be a perfect situation
- 31:33to bring in a new person, and I know you two well enough to know
- 31:38that you guys would figure it out and do fantastic.
- 31:42And that's where. The podcast transitions and
- 31:44we're going to consummate this relationship on the boat.
- 31:48That's on the patreonpatreon.com.
- 31:53What? I was given to me by the state
- 31:56of Tennessee. What a question.
- 31:58About the bow, I loved it. I love getting the nitty nitty.
- 32:03I, I felt like Brandon. McDonald Yeah, you did.
- 32:05Yeah, you did. I love getting into the nitty
- 32:07gritty because that's this is, this is fun.
- 32:09You know, it's more life. Shout out to Drake.
- 32:11Yeah, and already still has three questions to go here.
- 32:14So I just think it's important that when people are watching
- 32:16you, they know that you're human beings and what you do in your
- 32:19lives and who you are, that you're not just these Internet
- 32:21but celebrities. Everyone wants to shake your
- 32:23hand and kiss your forecast. Scientities as well.
- 32:26Currently the personal yeah, but.
- 32:28Anyway, yeah, anyways. Moving.
- 32:33On thank. You for showing you're welcome.
- 32:39What is your the favorite? Your favorite thing you've ever
- 32:44filmed? Oh me.
- 32:47Yeah, definitely. Yeah, there's questions by the
- 32:49way there. I mean, these are great, but.
- 32:50Very. All good questions.
- 32:52Very. Good.
- 32:52Yes, thank. You.
- 32:53Thank you. Thank you.
- 32:54Thank you. And that actually isn't tough.
- 32:57You're welcome. I know it's hard to think about
- 32:59it. For him, it's probably a
- 33:00horrible question I try to get. I've done so much, so talented,
- 33:04no. No, no, no.
- 33:06His favorite place. He thinks a lot deeper about it
- 33:08than most. Place I definitely film was the
- 33:12Deseret in Utah. That place is a freaking what
- 33:15were. You filming?
- 33:16There. So I was filming Dan on a hunt
- 33:18there. I got sun by 25 Wasps.
- 33:21Oh, maybe, yeah, we can go back next year.
- 33:24I know we're going. Yeah.
- 33:25Anyways, it really is. It's a it's a beautiful place.
- 33:30It is like, I wouldn't say the top tier, but it is a Mecca for
- 33:34Alcante. You walked into any drainage.
- 33:36It's a bugle fest, like you see bulls fighting in front of you.
- 33:40It, it really is a magical place.
- 33:42And I, I, I pray that everyone here gets the experience at one
- 33:46day because it, it is truly awesome.
- 33:49Isn't a great experience. I'd say the best, the coolest
- 33:52thing that I've filmed, honestly.
- 34:09Yeah, it was damn a deep thing. He's a deep.
- 34:14Take 5 more minutes. It's fine.
- 34:15The podcast listeners love. Shit, I love silence.
- 34:18Let's do that. Commercial here.
- 34:20Yeah, this is where your commercial.
- 34:21These broad heads hold our nose buttons.
- 34:25Bow tech hold the guys. Thank.
- 34:28You. We'll see.
- 34:30RIP hard to do episode 2 like ask me in a year.
- 34:33However, something I'm currently working on is Mountain Dads
- 34:37episode 1 and it really is a mission to just showcase awesome
- 34:45fathers stepping up to be better fathers.
- 34:48And like, for example, I interviewed one of my best
- 34:51friends and his father and they are adventure partners.
- 34:54They do everything together. And I was able to interview and
- 34:57document that experience and that bonding and how powerful it
- 35:00is for the greater good. And not only the father, but the
- 35:02next generation of of his son. And that's just true real life
- 35:09journalism. Storytelling is something that
- 35:11really gets me fired up. However, we'll be doing a lot of
- 35:14that at Podium in the next couple months, so stay tuned for
- 35:17that as well. I got that question because I
- 35:21think people should know about that.
- 35:23Now. Obviously you know the Matthews
- 35:26lift X you know Beau review because Josh and I made a lot of
- 35:29money on that it. Was like this is so.
- 35:35Deep and beautiful. Really really page.
- 35:41Nails. Bugger out of the bus.
- 35:46Wowmountaindads.com. Oh yeah, don't forget it.
- 35:50But there are. How many?
- 35:51You got any discount codes lined up yet?
- 35:53Just pass them out like candy. Yeah, that's what I do.
- 35:57All right, Really good, great information.
- 35:59Thank you for sharing. Right.
- 36:02Why do I have to keep following Jeff?
- 36:06You're going to seem like a shallow.
- 36:08I know exactly right. No, no, no, no, no.
- 36:11OK, So how There's a couple questions this phase, a series
- 36:15of these. How long have you been doing?
- 36:20Let me back up. Did you do anything before what
- 36:23you're doing now that didn't have to do with archery?
- 36:25No. So you always on archery?
- 36:26Yeah. OK.
- 36:28Do you want to do that forever? Till the day you.
- 36:32Yes. Good.
- 36:33OK, Good to know you have children. 2.
- 36:38And you have children. Two, you're going to have
- 36:40children. 22 at the same time in a.
- 36:43Small. I could only be.
- 36:45Yeah, I would like a children, but I have a nephew right now
- 36:47who's OK. Sweet, wonderful, great.
- 36:53Did you take over the business from anyone?
- 36:55I bought my father out. You bought your. 10 years ago.
- 36:57OK. Do you want your children to
- 37:00work in the archery industry? Do they have an interest in
- 37:02that? No.
- 37:03Is there a reason why you want them to stay out of it or?
- 37:06Specific. Yeah.
- 37:07Oh do. You want to share?
- 37:08It pretty much ruined my relationships with my dad until
- 37:11I bought him out and he could step away from it.
- 37:14It's. Interesting.
- 37:15A very adversarial situation for probably 01314 years.
- 37:23We, we, I, I couldn't be the same room with him while I
- 37:25wasn't working. I didn't want to spend any time
- 37:27with him. I couldn't be around him.
- 37:29And then he had a, a quintal bypass.
- 37:35Let's see what's that like probably 14 years ago, 15 years
- 37:37ago. And then he came back to work
- 37:40with an immense amount of energy because he had blood flow
- 37:44issues, right? You're weak and tired.
- 37:46I know. And then having a hard time,
- 37:48right. And then he, he came back and
- 37:50then had this like he, he was a very controlling human being in
- 37:54general, micromanager, that kind of guy.
- 37:56Like he'd have been at home in a 1920s factory, like no problem.
- 38:00He'd, he'd have made that thing by treating everybody like
- 38:04garbage. And he, he came back and there
- 38:08was about a month of that and I just, I told him I was fucking
- 38:11done. It's like, I can't do this.
- 38:13Like I know I know way more about this than you ever thought
- 38:15about knowing that I'm not working for you.
- 38:18So you can either be a cyber partner or I'll run it for you
- 38:23in that scenario, or you can sell it to me or I would do
- 38:26something else. And I really want to share with
- 38:28this but I cannot do this anymore.
- 38:31That's interesting because it's not the first.
- 38:34It's like time that I've heard a scenario where a man and their
- 38:37father had a fallout over or an argumentative relationship over
- 38:45hunting or archery or something in the outdoor sporting world in
- 38:49general. What I think men in general are
- 38:51pretty competitive, right? And no, I would like to think
- 38:56that a father wants to see his son, which I wouldn't upset on
- 38:58that song. I would like to think that a
- 39:01father wants to see his son exceed him.
- 39:04Mine did not want them not like that.
- 39:06It was more of a conflict. Every time I learned about if I
- 39:08was better at something than him, he got shitty about it.
- 39:12Like we stopped shooting baskets when I was like 14 because I had
- 39:15to beat him. He stopped shooting bows with me
- 39:17when I was like 15 because that would beat him.
- 39:20So he just he just had the wrong mindset, which I never had that
- 39:23with my own kids, but grand never had a son.
- 39:25So I don't know if I would react if I need that.
- 39:28But it was a definitely adversarial thing for sure.
- 39:32And when I was excelling better than him at the at the the field
- 39:37that he chose to use. Fortunately, he hit a point in
- 39:41his life where it got just too difficult for him to function in
- 39:44that regard. So we kind of been away from,
- 39:46but only came back to it was it was like a a massive, massive
- 39:51conflict. And the bright side of things is
- 39:54when I when I did, he eventually agreed to just let me buy him
- 39:57out, which also took over a year to come to an agreement on which
- 40:02was nuts. But regardless, the last the
- 40:05last nine years of his life because he passed away like 3
- 40:08years ago. Well 3 1/2 like 3 dates on was
- 40:13somewhere around. There he.
- 40:16We actually were able to have a good relationship and he was a
- 40:20very different person. Like it wasn't, it wasn't
- 40:23conflict, it wasn't adversarial. And he was after he almost died
- 40:27the first time, right? He, I think he reassessed life
- 40:31in general, like the initial reaction is lived your life the
- 40:33same way. And then also you've got all
- 40:35this extra energy, right. So it turned out to be a greater
- 40:40thing than I ever really positively could have hoped for.
- 40:43Because if he is, if, if that never changed, I, I would have
- 40:47had the same fondness for my father.
- 40:51Like I would have probably been like, well, he, he just never,
- 40:53like he was never happy. Nothing was ever good enough.
- 40:56And he died, right? As opposed to I, I appreciate
- 41:00who he was. I'm grateful for who he made me
- 41:03and how hard he pushed me and how hard it worked, right?
- 41:05Because he he, he turned into a different person.
- 41:08Yeah, no, I, I completely, I, I get your perspective.
- 41:11Obviously not from, you know, I haven't lived your life, but and
- 41:16I'm sure that that was not easy, especially for the duration of,
- 41:19you know, how long that you went through that.
- 41:22But I think there's a certain like importance of coming to
- 41:26respect your parents or your elders and being grateful for,
- 41:30you know, the life that they've given you, even if it wasn't the
- 41:33life you exactly imagined or wanted it to be until you get to
- 41:37where you're at you. Can you can't appreciate life
- 41:41without heartache and pain? There's no way around it.
- 41:44There's no way around it. And you have to, you have to
- 41:47embrace those things at a certain point.
- 41:49And and to anymore I, I look forward to those moments.
- 41:52Oh, I can see some shit going on right here.
- 41:54Oh, I know, that's all great. Some underlying over there.
- 41:58There's some underlying spirit there.
- 42:01I heard your story and was like that.
- 42:02Story. Was.
- 42:03Familiar. Do you have one more?
- 42:06Question to go. No, we go.
- 42:07We've got one. Yeah.
- 42:09So we'll divert maybe another time, maybe, maybe in two weeks.
- 42:12I might I might leave around into this.
- 42:16He can do the Trump. Let's see, I know we got so deep
- 42:20there. I did not Thank you again for
- 42:21sharing that. Sorry if that was difficult or
- 42:23whatever, but however. It's not the first time I
- 42:25shared. Well, good.
- 42:27Yeah, especially shared it before.
- 42:33What my favorite fast food is or something?
- 42:35Like something? Shallow.
- 42:38What's your favorite color? Taco Bell?
- 42:39How you rocking? You liking the Zen, Brandon?
- 42:41That's be a good question. I just woke up dude that put me
- 42:44on my ass for like 10 minutes. You want another one?
- 42:47No. I told you that yesterday.
- 42:51Bad idea. Bad idea, OK.
- 42:55I. Don't know.
- 42:56OK, I have a question for you then.
- 42:57No. No.
- 42:59Brandon. No, this is not all this.
- 43:02Works. You got to let her go and.
- 43:03Then I'll ask you a question. Let her.
- 43:04Marinate. Let's see, let me think back.
- 43:07What is the favorite thing that you've ever harvested?
- 43:11Red Stag, New Zealand I. Really want to do that.
- 43:16Yeah, but it was because of the the, the adventure, like in
- 43:20general. So getting to like go to a
- 43:22completely new land and then we did a road trip through the
- 43:25entire North Island and then getting to harvest it and the
- 43:29people that we were with, like. Red Stag.
- 43:31I've always wanted red stag in New Zealand to be like my
- 43:33honeymoon hunt or Axis in Hawaii, or Turkey in Hawaii.
- 43:39Not not Turkey, no. Please pick something that's
- 43:42worthwhile. Trash.
- 43:45Bird. That white builder.
- 43:52Hopefully the Airbnb host doesn't watch this and people
- 43:55build a little thing of the cloud live all.
- 43:57Right. Well.
- 43:59That's how it made it through everybody.
- 44:00Thank you for sharing. Brittany, you did a good job.
- 44:03I want to say that I'm impressed.
- 44:04You did better than I thought. Every question was fire.
- 44:08Yeah, they were pretty good. And they were all good.
- 44:11So B does you had something lined up for this?
- 44:13Idea I'm I'm. Curious because I felt like when
- 44:16Josh was was telling the story about his kind of growing up,
- 44:20I'm curious how both of you guys ended up doing something that's
- 44:24really unique. I feel like for women in
- 44:25general, which is hunting and archery.
- 44:29So I'm curious about in particular like your experience
- 44:32with it, because you seem like legitimately bit by the bug and
- 44:38really like into it. So I want to hear how that
- 44:41happened and like what the influences were.
- 44:43The hunting How how we got to there.
- 44:45Like hunting and archery? Yeah.
- 44:48So like I said, like I was introduced to it by someone that
- 44:53I was dating at the time and it it's.
- 44:56But pertaining to your family, was there anything with your
- 44:58with? Your, not your.
- 44:59Zero No 00 at all. They never haunted.
- 45:03At all. They just grocery stored it the
- 45:05whole time. Yeah, no, no guns in the
- 45:08households, nothing like that at all.
- 45:11And it is an interesting question to me because when
- 45:15someone asks it to me, I don't always know the right answer
- 45:18because it truly is like a phenomenon to me.
- 45:20When I sat down in that Turkey blind, like I will never forget
- 45:24the feeling that I had when like when Turkey started coming in, I
- 45:29mean it. My heart was beating out of my
- 45:30chest. I could barely breathe.
- 45:32My hands were shaking like an adrenaline rush I've never ever
- 45:35had before. Yeah, you go on Elk.
- 45:38Now listen, if if she gets bit up by by Turkey that way, I
- 45:42think that's freaking cool. Yeah, I agree.
- 45:44I agree. I agree.
- 45:45But that if there's there's that situation reacted to you and
- 45:48that way you should probably. And it's, it's never changed,
- 45:51but it's, it's a wonder to me the same way that when, when I
- 45:54picked up a bow, it was just addictive.
- 45:56I couldn't put it down. I need to know everything about
- 45:58it. I needed to be constantly
- 45:59getting better at it. And sometimes, you know, I, my
- 46:03whole channel is about trying to encourage people.
- 46:05And you know, I will meet women to come into the archery shop
- 46:09who have tried it and just don't love it.
- 46:14Hunting. No, would rather stay home, make
- 46:16breakfast before the other husband comes up and great, more
- 46:18power to them. That's fine.
- 46:21But that's not me. Not so I don't know.
- 46:23It's it's not necessarily. I don't wouldn't say that it is
- 46:26exactly for everybody. Everybody is different.
- 46:29But Brianna and I reacted to it the same way.
- 46:32Yeah. I mean, I would say, like, and
- 46:33James has agreed with us in the past, like, he just loves
- 46:35archery. He loves shooting his bow,
- 46:37having fun like people. He gets to hang out when he does
- 46:40it and whatnot. Like, he will tell you he's OK
- 46:42with doing his what, hunt a year, and that's during the
- 46:46Arizona and hunting mule deer. And if he had only that and
- 46:49could shoot his bow the rest of the year, he'd be perfectly
- 46:51fine. Meanwhile, I'm over here like,
- 46:54what are we going peak hunting? What are we going Turkey
- 46:57hunting? So it's actually the the the
- 47:00killing of an animal or is it your interaction with another
- 47:03live creature or like like it's. Going to get.
- 47:07You mine is, I think more so the like, yes, I can't speak for
- 47:12everybody like you have a drive to want to, to harvest the
- 47:15animal to fill your tag, whatever, but it's more so like
- 47:19the day today. I love being like if I could, I
- 47:23don't want to say feel homeless person and live in a tent
- 47:25because I wouldn't want to do it in LA.
- 47:27You could do that, it's very easy.
- 47:30Actually, but especially. In San.
- 47:33Diego. Subsidized.
- 47:35But if I can go spend months like I loved this show alone
- 47:39where they just drop them off and get to just live outside I
- 47:45Oh my God. I don't have the skill to do it,
- 47:48but I would love to. Do it by yourself.
- 47:50Like, like genuinely alone. Yeah, like I just.
- 47:54Get lonely you wouldn't, you see?
- 47:56Me put headphones into, like, ignore.
- 48:02My social meter only goes so high, and it's microscopic
- 48:06compared to James''s. I enjoy solitude.
- 48:10I enjoy quiet time. And when you go outdoors and you
- 48:15go hunting, so much of it is quiet time.
- 48:18Like, it's time to glass. It's time to stop.
- 48:21Don't make noise. Like, yeah, you just have to,
- 48:24like, survive on your own other than when you're being guided by
- 48:30James and then, you know, you just follow along.
- 48:33And then the animals right there mention the.
- 48:34Sponsors. Mention.
- 48:35The sponsors. These.
- 48:36Broadheads. Bone tech boning.
- 48:40But to me it's not so much the animal for hunting, but it is
- 48:44just. The.
- 48:45Black gold ripped yard. Itself and so anytime there's a
- 48:49chance to go hunting, to go outside to don't care what
- 48:54animal it is, I'm over here like and me, I'm like, how this would
- 48:57be, you know, more like videos for the channel, like diversify,
- 49:00not just solely archery stuff. Want us.
- 49:02I'm like, let's go, let's go. Let he's like, Oh my God, he's
- 49:07like, I've had enough this year. I'm definitely more so the not
- 49:12the skilled hunter of the two of us, but I'm the one who wants to
- 49:15go a lot more. And James would just rather he
- 49:19would be a OK just going down morally and, you know, shoot,
- 49:22shoot bow to him, you could say, which maybe is a good thing.
- 49:27Like that's just as exciting to him.
- 49:29And maybe that's what like it doesn't drive me to want to like
- 49:33get more accurate with my bow. Like I know that if I continue
- 49:36shooting, I will. And you know, I'm good enough
- 49:39now where I could harvest something.
- 49:41So as long as I maintain that skill, you know, I have a good
- 49:46chance of harvesting something. So like I only find so much
- 49:52excitement and like just going out and shooting my bow in the
- 49:54backyard before, especially like doing target stuff.
- 49:58No, she doesn't like indoor. I make it like 6 out of 10
- 50:01rounds I'm like I'm out, I got to go.
- 50:04This is boring and shit. So I'll say, I'll say this about
- 50:08Brianna real quick to piggyback off that.
- 50:10She's a very good hunter for sure.
- 50:12Like she's super talented at hunting.
- 50:14I'm. Probably better at hunting than
- 50:16I am at shooting. Definitely, definitely.
- 50:18And you're not a bad shooter, but your hunting is excellent
- 50:21and I have helped a lot of hunters and she's got it.
- 50:25You know, some people have it, some people don't.
- 50:27She's got it and it's really cool to see.
- 50:31For me, it's a little bit funny because I love to hunt.
- 50:36It's what I think I'm best at in life actually, is like mule deer
- 50:38hunting spot and stock, something like that.
- 50:41But I'd be perfectly fine going on a 30 day hunt and seeing one
- 50:44mule deer and having one chance and getting it done.
- 50:47Whereas she's more the type that would like the Africa hunt that
- 50:49I did, where she's getting opportunities over and over and
- 50:52over where for some reason that just doesn't resonate with me
- 50:55personally as much. I still go out there.
- 50:58I want to find animals. I want to see like when you get
- 51:00to see, Oh my gosh, like when you go see mule deer and like
- 51:03the rut. And they?
- 51:06Don't. And they don't know you're
- 51:07there. You're watching.
- 51:09This the best. Or like once we play system, was
- 51:12it a fox with a raccoon or a fox with the man he saw two
- 51:19different species of animals playing with?
- 51:22No, they're playing with each other.
- 51:24But we were on that, so it makes sense you went that way trying
- 51:28to. Remember this story?
- 51:29They were on a rock and it was a fox and something else and they
- 51:33were like pitter patter. Two foxes, it wasn't there.
- 51:36Two separate types of species. I thought it was 2 fox but it
- 51:39was fun because they were messing around so crazy.
- 51:41And another one. But you just get to see like the
- 51:43wildest things, especially Western because you glass
- 51:47everything. So like, you know, you end up
- 51:49seeing baby running around Jason mom or you know.
- 51:53I was going to tell the story about that Coos there.
- 51:55We watch doing laps. Oh.
- 51:57My God, it's. So fun, you know.
- 51:59It like that is what excites me. Like, you know, it does suck a
- 52:03little when you don't see any animals in a day but or you see
- 52:06a few. But so this Coos we're glassing
- 52:09and we've spotted these deer, a group of them like they're
- 52:12probably mile, mile and a half away.
- 52:14So they're kind of small. You see this one just go
- 52:18running. Like what is this tear doing?
- 52:20She runs like she's going up to the the ledge in The Lion King,
- 52:24the rock and right off the top of it leaps like 20 feet in the
- 52:30air, jumps down, doesn't stop running turns around comes back.
- 52:36Does it get never stops Just keep doing Donuts sessioning
- 52:40this rock. It's like the deer.
- 52:42This Coos had the zoomies like I was like who how often you get
- 52:47to see a deer do this like just it's full of happiness running
- 52:51in circles. It's so excited about jumping
- 52:53off this rock. It did it for like 5 minutes
- 52:55straight. And so it's like you get to just
- 52:58see the coolest things when you're outside, and when I'm
- 53:02inside, it's mostly just like, you work for James on the
- 53:04computer. Yeah.
- 53:08By. The way shot to my biggest
- 53:10sponsor at Brandon Curley, 91. A huge, huge piece of the
- 53:15program. And she killed devices, a lot of
- 53:17her money to not get paid to do but.
- 53:21Yeah, she's a savage Rainy. Do you feel the same way?
- 53:24Like, does some of the things that she's saying resonate with
- 53:27you or is it different? Yeah, to me it has nothing to do
- 53:30with the actual kill car. It's not being obsessed with
- 53:33that. Some people I've met, it truly
- 53:35is. It's like they want to kill
- 53:36stuff and I feel awful. Every time I kill something I
- 53:40cry. Yeah, Yep.
- 53:41I literally go up and say everything.
- 53:43I think you could probably go watch almost every one of our
- 53:45videos where I harvest something, yes.
- 53:46I say I'm sorry. Yeah, no, it's.
- 53:48When I watch. Up your head.
- 53:50I pet it every time I say I'm sorry.
- 53:52And I usually call it like a baby or something like, oh,
- 53:55you're so soft. It's like I'm talking to a
- 53:57child. I'm having a dead.
- 54:00Yeah. I don't, I don't exactly do
- 54:02that, but I do. You know, it's a weird feeling
- 54:04to know that you just took something's life to kind of
- 54:08propel your life, you know? Yeah.
- 54:10Yes. But that is the story of life.
- 54:12That is the way. Yes.
- 54:14Yeah. I wish more people understood
- 54:16that. You know, there's still an
- 54:17appreciation, though, like the way that she described it for
- 54:21wildlife and for conservation. And so it's all of those
- 54:27elements for me, making sure that this exists for everyone
- 54:31for after my life and after my children's life and after their
- 54:35life. Because the way things are going
- 54:36right now, that's not the case. Yeah.
- 54:40Could you shoot paper like could you do target?
- 54:45I do shoot outdoor three DI also absolutely hate paper.
- 54:49I think it is. Trash.
- 54:51Boring. I think it's fun.
- 54:52I love it. There's something about it I
- 54:54love. No, it's interesting because I,
- 54:56I felt like maybe there'd be a little bit of a differentiator
- 54:58between do you when it comes to Vegas, like Vegas, I'll.
- 55:01Finish. If I start, that's the only
- 55:04difference is I'm going to finish.
- 55:05I'm not going to do this boring for 30 minutes and finish at
- 55:09round six like we're going to go to round 10, we're going to know
- 55:12where we finish, but I absolutely hate it.
- 55:14Interesting. I personally love shooting
- 55:17indoor. I don't know what there is about
- 55:19it. It's like just which is.
- 55:21Somebody new to you? Very new, very new.
- 55:24I probably in my life done maybe 10 rounds of Vegas and.
- 55:27That's cool you've taken to it. Thank you.
- 55:29Yeah, I love it. But Brandon, I'm kind of
- 55:32curious. You're I just as your friend, I
- 55:34think your mind would love indoor.
- 55:36Am I right about that? I think it would.
- 55:39Yeah. Because, like, to me, you're
- 55:41just testing yourself against a thing that's just yourself.
- 55:45So like, yeah, the analytical part of my brain really like the
- 55:50itch gets scratched with sitting there and figuring out like what
- 55:54it is because it's a balance between gear and environment.
- 55:58And then the mention game and and trying to kind of get all
- 56:02that stuff put together so that you could shoot like a, you
- 56:05know, a true 300 round. But then I also wonder like
- 56:07these, these anomalies of people that I view is like, I don't
- 56:12understand why Bodie Turner can do what Bodie can do as an 18
- 56:15year old kid and just inside out. 30 in a row?
- 56:20Yeah, without even. I.
- 56:22Just don't understand. It doesn't make sense because
- 56:24it's, it's entering into a classification inside your brain
- 56:29that I think every human has. But he's, he's opened some doors
- 56:33something. That very few can touch.
- 56:35Yeah, but that's why I want to know is like, can I go into
- 56:38that? But it's the same with people
- 56:39that are like elite hunters or like, why do you have a passion
- 56:42for turkeys? And I have a passion for bear.
- 56:45And I wonder what those different kind of just like what
- 56:50why? Why is that a thing that gets
- 56:52you so fired up? And I could give a shit about
- 56:54turkeys. And I could give a crap without
- 56:57a bear. Can you say give a shit?
- 56:58Do you? Don't let her.
- 57:06Just in the box. Just say fuck I do.
- 57:14Curse a lot. You've all heard me curse this
- 57:16weekend. I have not you.
- 57:18Didn't. You don't lie.
- 57:19You'd. Shoot at. 12 and you'd be like
- 57:21fuck yeah under your breath you were so excited but but when
- 57:24you'd hit A5 you'd be like. So on my channel there is no
- 57:32cursing allowed. OK, we're not an understand.
- 57:35No apps. Yeah.
- 57:36Is. This yours?
- 57:39Is this on your? Podcast be sure you subscribe
- 57:45newly monetized discount. Code BMAC podiummarcher.com.
- 57:50With my camera on my dad. Hey I have.
- 57:56My mic, look at my mic to be there.
- 58:10It's electrical tape. I just want to be clear.
- 58:12That is not electrical tape. It is.
- 58:13White the white tape what faded? What electrical tape you go
- 58:17look? White.
- 58:18It's not white, it's just faded. That that is clear, that is
- 58:21electrical. Tape that is the color of
- 58:23masking tape. Yeah, it's not masking tape.
- 58:25I understand that is that more color.
- 58:27I'm sorry. I had it wrong.
- 58:29It's fiber tape. I'm sorry.
- 58:30OK, that I agree with that looks like.
- 58:32That that could be fine. Sorry my my my tape tape was was
- 58:36incorrect. It is fiber.
- 58:38Tape anyway. So let's get back to the topic,
- 58:40and that's about the tape. I love fiber tape.
- 58:43Shout out to fiber tape. Yeah, so I, I think that there
- 58:50is something to be said about leading by example a little bit.
- 58:54So when you get to be an adult and you want to make your own
- 58:58choices and you want to curse in private or amongst your friends,
- 59:01that's fine. But it's like a being a, you
- 59:06know, a role model in a young one.
- 59:09That's that's the only time that you're ever going to call myself
- 59:13that thing is a lot of the time I'll get comments, we're like,
- 59:17oh, my daughter watches you because, you know, you're a
- 59:19female Archer. And then it reminds me that like
- 59:23kids watch me. Yeah.
- 59:25And so that's that's that's why you're not going to hear me say.
- 59:28Yeah, well, don't, Don't, don't do it.
- 59:30Don't. Basically, that's what.
- 59:32I think that's a great deal. As an adult, you get to choose
- 59:34your level of nastiness. Yeah.
- 59:37Yeah, once you get to nervous choices, it's like the spectrum.
- 59:40There's all levels of nastiness. And all levels of low or.
- 59:43Very little, yeah. I love that show, by the way.
- 59:47I resume with them, and I'm OK with that.
- 59:49I've accepted it. You know, like later on today
- 59:51I'm going to put those headphones back on and then I'm
- 59:53going to turn Microsoft. Over that boat back in full
- 59:56porn. And her boat goes as I graze
- 1:00:04well. It's like correct?
- 1:00:06This one's actually about Dragons.
- 1:00:08And they're. Jagging his nuts in the US game.
- 1:00:17Brittany, you know what, I respect that a lot.
- 1:00:19And actually it's a thing that I it's a thing that I struggle
- 1:00:21with with what like Josh and I do do the podcast and I I
- 1:00:25struggle with it a bit, but. I think there's is that what you
- 1:00:28did for a jar? Yeah.
- 1:00:29It is, but I also like the last one we did.
- 1:00:32There was $2.00 in this Ware jar.
- 1:00:34Yeah, well, but, but I don't know if that's a good thing or a
- 1:00:38bad thing. But I do know that, like,
- 1:00:40meeting kids today at the TAC, Yeah.
- 1:00:43I was like, oh, man, dude. Like there's people that watch
- 1:00:46us that are not the group. It's not us watching us.
- 1:00:49Like, there's a lot of other people that are watching us and,
- 1:00:51like, yeah. I just falls on parents for
- 1:00:54censorship. You can't do.
- 1:00:56Everything's got just. Marketed to.
- 1:00:58Kids, there's a medium. Yeah, right.
- 1:01:01Yeah, you can go into it thinking.
- 1:01:04Go ahead. No, no, no, no.
- 1:01:06You finished. Sorry, I understood you.
- 1:01:07You're just going, you have to go into it thinking what eyes
- 1:01:10are going to potential come across this and I think that's a
- 1:01:13noble thing you're trying to protect.
- 1:01:15I appreciate that and on the same or the opposite side of it,
- 1:01:19when 2 grown men sit down to smoke cigars and have a drink
- 1:01:23and do a podcast, you know you're not thinking is there a
- 1:01:27felt bag that this is probably not for their 10 year old child.
- 1:01:31So is this not all on us? Like on our channel, we don't,
- 1:01:35we don't really cuss. Like if you notice very hard.
- 1:01:38You don't. I don't find y'all to be like
- 1:01:40very cussing people. No, no, not.
- 1:01:42James much less than. Me, but what I will say is I
- 1:01:45always appreciate what I call the Seinfeld humor where I could
- 1:01:48watch it as a little kid because I did with my parents, I would
- 1:01:51watch it and think it was funny, but then as an adult I rewatch
- 1:01:54it and go yo this like whole nother levels of humor right.
- 1:01:58That's how I kind of approach our humor on our channel is
- 1:02:02like, I want jokes that the the parents are laughing about, but
- 1:02:06the kids are laughing about something different.
- 1:02:08Yeah, but it's still clean. Yeah.
- 1:02:10So that's kind of my approach, if that makes sense.
- 1:02:14I like being halfway out of frame actually, and I want to
- 1:02:16look super crazy as a fact. Tim is adjusting Cam.
- 1:02:20We have the legendary Tim Connor, very cinematic Tim, Tim
- 1:02:24and Dodds. Are these our next levels on
- 1:02:26this? And Tim is adjusting.
- 1:02:29Are we shooting in 720P, 25 frames per second?
- 1:02:34Yeah. You got you got to tone that
- 1:02:36quality camera down to shit. Yeah, thank you.
- 1:02:38It looks right. Thank you I.
- 1:02:40Do the James setting. Thank you.
- 1:02:42Yeah, put the James setting on. I do want to real quick while.
- 1:02:44We're on the most. Basic.
- 1:02:45Setting. We have in shutters.
- 1:02:47I've been plugging sponsors the whole time.
- 1:02:49Shout out to Beast. I want to.
- 1:02:51I want to give a shout out to Mountain dads because I really
- 1:02:56like Dodds a lot and when he described what he was doing to
- 1:03:00me or not to. Me.
- 1:03:02Too. He described it to me.
- 1:03:04Yes, OK, different, different sentences.
- 1:03:07And you? I really liked it and I think
- 1:03:09the whole thing is dope, so I want to be sure I plug them and
- 1:03:12check it out. And there's going to be a
- 1:03:14Father's Day sale on mountaindads.com.
- 1:03:16Yep, so check that out. Did you have to say plug in?
- 1:03:20Was that necessary? It was, yeah.
- 1:03:22So. Vaz, you got plugged on the
- 1:03:24podcast. Thank you so much.
- 1:03:25How was it? Yeah.
- 1:03:26How was you? Enjoy the plug.
- 1:03:28Yeah, it was great. This plug is it?
- 1:03:29I'll pay. You wait a minute.
- 1:03:30Is this plug? Is this the Plug Talk podcast?
- 1:03:33It means you. Get paid for plugging people.
- 1:03:35There's been an awful lot of plugs I.
- 1:03:37Don't know I know what. We're about to dig into if
- 1:03:39that's. What I was thinking of which?
- 1:03:41Brittany just learned. In a different sense.
- 1:03:42Of what the word plug means, there's the word plug, the one
- 1:03:48we were just discussing or the one we were just.
- 1:03:51Discussing. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:52Or, you know, I said to her, I go, Britt, do you have a plug?
- 1:03:55And she's like, yeah, I often need an interpreter to
- 1:03:59understand the two of them. I truly sometimes do.
- 1:04:03Or should it understand that like a big guy?
- 1:04:05What? Are you talking about?
- 1:04:07Just right. Can you just ask anything?
- 1:04:09You just feel like I need clarification.
- 1:04:10I will. Ask the other.
- 1:04:12Thing to clarify and sometimes then they'll respond with
- 1:04:15clarification that also I need clarification for.
- 1:04:19Yeah. Yeah, yeah, keep going is on the
- 1:04:21vassal from a whole bunch of. Unclarified clarification.
- 1:04:25Interesting. So Josh, one thing that Britt
- 1:04:28wanted this trip or, or in Pennsylvania or a bonus.
- 1:04:31UPS challenge There's several times discount coach.
- 1:04:33She wants to go video she wants. Not give out another one.
- 1:04:37A pump station. She wanted to.
- 1:04:40She she wanted to she wanted to do a video with you kind of
- 1:04:45giving a giving her an archery lesson and breaking down her
- 1:04:48shot. So on the podcast, separate from
- 1:04:51that video. So go watch it.
- 1:04:52If you're watching this off RIP. What do you notice about her
- 1:04:56shot that you would maybe try to get her to change a little bit?
- 1:04:59I didn't see anything that jumped out at me, but I wasn't
- 1:05:01also thinking about that. Yeah, that's normally something
- 1:05:03that I would approach if somebody asked, but I try not to
- 1:05:07judge. Yeah, is the reality of it,
- 1:05:09because there's there's no really wrong way to do it.
- 1:05:11If you even do it the same and you can duplicate it, it doesn't
- 1:05:14matter which is reality. But if you want him so.
- 1:05:17I have no problem. Yeah, but nothing was glaring.
- 1:05:20To you, I don't notice something.
- 1:05:22You need to be taller. I don't know what.
- 1:05:25We need to. Do about that.
- 1:05:26That's great for that for a long time.
- 1:05:30So, so I saw, I saw nothing that like jumps out and they're like,
- 1:05:33what are you? Why are you doing that?
- 1:05:35I didn't say anything. Like I do have one thing that
- 1:05:37jumps out at me, a better shooting, but I'm going.
- 1:05:39To like you do. I'm going to wait till your guys
- 1:05:40review. They're hard enough to do it.
- 1:05:42Yeah, do. You want me to say it?
- 1:05:44Yeah. Yeah, sure.
- 1:05:45So I think that you move your head out of the way when you
- 1:05:48draw because you're scared you're going to punch yourself
- 1:05:50in the face. I don't know where that comes
- 1:05:51from to be honest, because I I only punched myself in the face
- 1:05:55one time. It was probably 11 years ago.
- 1:05:58I was in that release that failed.
- 1:06:02Or you might have hit the trigger when you drew, possibly.
- 1:06:05It could be. It is possible.
- 1:06:06Yeah, it could be. I mean, it was a long time ago,
- 1:06:09but it's never. I mean, I I shoot hinges now,
- 1:06:12back tinges, thumb. I never punch myself in the
- 1:06:15face. I don't know what, Brian asked
- 1:06:17me the other day. And then I drew my bow back,
- 1:06:20didn't move my head out of the way and I said there, is that
- 1:06:22better for you? She's like, oh, that's fine.
- 1:06:25It is a weird muscle memory thing that I did.
- 1:06:27Time off and shot sequence. So yeah, if you can avoid doing.
- 1:06:30That that would be not the only thing.
- 1:06:31That's the only thing I noticed that like really stuck out.
- 1:06:36And you're the video of the kid that is sent me.
- 1:06:39She does it too now. Oh.
- 1:06:42Oh, yeah. I don't want to say her name,
- 1:06:44yeah, but yeah. See, I feel like I moved my face
- 1:06:47out of the way because I've punched myself three times hard
- 1:06:51ripping the D loop. But I also feel like when I'm
- 1:06:53leaning over, it's a flexibility issue.
- 1:06:56And so for me, and I don't know if that's for you, but like I
- 1:06:58feel like I draw overhead more and so I should, though I lean
- 1:07:01it out and then I come in. Yeah, I do feel like it was a a
- 1:07:05habit that I is a bit excessive now that I taught myself, not
- 1:07:11intentionally, but when I retaught myself my draw cycle a
- 1:07:15couple years ago and it's just sometimes I had to work out on a
- 1:07:18process. Well this is this is actually a
- 1:07:20great topic that you 2 can for sure relate to.
- 1:07:23I'm not sure about you guys but they both used to draw cross
- 1:07:28this. Way there's a lot of women that
- 1:07:29I find do that so. They both.
- 1:07:31Used to do it. Yeah, when Brandon and I started
- 1:07:34dating, I told her flat out. I was like, hey I.
- 1:07:36Can't. You're not going to say shit
- 1:07:38like that around me. So we're going to relearn how to
- 1:07:40do it, right. But and then shortly after,
- 1:07:43because these two are very competitive, Brianna learned how
- 1:07:46to do it and she learned how to do it.
- 1:07:48So I want to ask you guys, what was that process like to relearn
- 1:07:51the? Draw site.
- 1:07:52From year to year. Why?
- 1:07:54How did you start that? Wouldn't you at least want to
- 1:07:56know why they did it that way? Oh, sure, sure.
- 1:07:58That and then why did you change and what was that?
- 1:08:01Process. I can tell you why they did it
- 1:08:02that way. Yeah, I'm curious for you to go
- 1:08:041st to see if it's the same. Thing if you're new to archery
- 1:08:09so if you do reps your your bicep feels stronger than your
- 1:08:13tricep and how they're drawing this with their bicep another
- 1:08:15tricep so when you're drawing you.
- 1:08:17Just naturally feel like it's a stronger stronger, which it is
- 1:08:20when? You're drawing with your elbow
- 1:08:22over your shoulder, which is better for your shoulder.
- 1:08:24Mind you, I'm not going to hit you, I promise I won't have
- 1:08:26follow through. But when you pull back in this
- 1:08:28direction, you're pulling with your tricep and your shoulder
- 1:08:31and your back, right? Well when you pull like this
- 1:08:35pulling through bicep and then you engage your.
- 1:08:37Shoulder and currently buffer shoulder muscles.
- 1:08:39And shoulder muscles, right? So when you're early on in this,
- 1:08:42your bicep feels stronger than your tricep, right?
- 1:08:45So that's why they're pulling necks.
- 1:08:46They're probably trying to pull too much weight without
- 1:08:48technique. Yeah.
- 1:08:50Which is tough because if you're going to try to hunt as a as a
- 1:08:52woman, you're typically starting with.
- 1:08:54Me, you're trying to pull as much weight as you can.
- 1:08:56You're trying to pull as you're already struggling.
- 1:08:57You're already struggling. With Yeah.
- 1:08:59And because there's legal limits in a lot of states, you know,
- 1:09:02there's a requirement. So yeah.
- 1:09:03So it's that's 100% it. And so when I teach kids, I
- 1:09:07teach them that exact same phrase.
- 1:09:10Don't pull with your bicep. We need to engage more muscles.
- 1:09:14There are more and bigger muscles in our back and our
- 1:09:17shoulder and our triceps than just using our singular bicep.
- 1:09:22So I bought a Quest, a little Quest, and backed it way down to
- 1:09:2720 lbs. Yep.
- 1:09:30And I would I just every single day in the months of June and
- 1:09:34July and I was just a teeny quarter turn, every time I would
- 1:09:38notice that I could pull it back with no, you know, no issue.
- 1:09:43And that's how I caught myself. It was a little frustrating,
- 1:09:45mostly because string angle it was just different than what I
- 1:09:49was used to shooting didn't have anything to do with the form.
- 1:09:52Oh, you mean the quest had a different string?
- 1:09:54Yeah. Then.
- 1:09:55Then I go at the time, yeah. But you literally intentionally
- 1:09:58thought I'm going to bring my draw from here off to here
- 1:10:01ultimately, and what's running off?
- 1:10:04I became, I came into a physical issue.
- 1:10:07I was starting to draw so much weight that I was getting.
- 1:10:11I would shoot, you know, for one day, Yep.
- 1:10:14And I would start to get this pain in my neck where it was so
- 1:10:17cramped that the next day after shooting I couldn't turn my head
- 1:10:21do. You know what?
- 1:10:23No, I have no clue. Because you pull the load back
- 1:10:25with your bicep and then we rotate your shoulder damages
- 1:10:28your neck. You can't pull that way like in
- 1:10:30the long run along where you always have to keep your elbow
- 1:10:33over your shoulder when you're drawing your bow, even if you
- 1:10:35have to buy the weight down. And if you, if you maintain
- 1:10:38that, it'll only take you a week or two and you'll pull more than
- 1:10:41you would ever go with your bicep because your tricep and
- 1:10:43your back and your shoulder are stronger in your.
- 1:10:45Body sounds like something teeth my kids.
- 1:10:47Which is, which is how you want to approach.
- 1:10:49It wants to keep your shoulder over your, keep your elbow over
- 1:10:53your shoulder. That's all you got to tell.
- 1:10:55Your elbow stays above your shoulder the whole way, no
- 1:10:58matter what. Then you're falling with right
- 1:10:59muscles. I just think that example is
- 1:11:02like a really common thing to Brandon point that I've seen men
- 1:11:06do it too for sure, but definitely more with the.
- 1:11:09Gay ones for sure. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:10And I think that I, I think it's cool if you sweat everybody.
- 1:11:15And I know it took work. But Speaking of gay, don't react
- 1:11:19that like it's. Worth.
- 1:11:21It yeah, 100 well, that's gotta feel.
- 1:11:22Good, I gotta feel that tension. I think everybody can do it if
- 1:11:25they're, you know. Physical.
- 1:11:27Yeah, it's. Better, yeah.
- 1:11:29And you got. Fair again, Tim, you've been
- 1:11:31quiet. I'm stretching on.
- 1:11:33I'm just, I'm just listening to you guys.
- 1:11:35It's OK to listen. To I have another question for
- 1:11:37Ken. Tim how?
- 1:11:38Typically listen or talk. Yeah, I'm gonna.
- 1:11:41Be sitting too close to James. How do you feel about James''s
- 1:11:45haircut? James' hair, I mean, James
- 1:11:49coming from a family full of hairdressers, I think that
- 1:11:52there's just a haircut that would depends where you're going
- 1:11:55for, you know, but I think there's a haircut that would fit
- 1:11:57your skull that might be quite nice.
- 1:12:05I honestly I felt the fact. That they.
- 1:12:08Go out with whatever this is. So happy.
- 1:12:11That no one else is tipping and just be proud.
- 1:12:14And the balloon? Yeah.
- 1:12:16Proud to look like that. You.
- 1:12:17Like it? That's.
- 1:12:18Great. But I also do feel like what Tim
- 1:12:20says is probably. What other what someone else
- 1:12:22thinks about how you look doesn't really matter, you know?
- 1:12:24It's like your it's your thing, it's your style, you know?
- 1:12:26So I'm very inspired by Matt Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold,
- 1:12:30the front man. That's kind of what inspired the
- 1:12:33haircut The life is. But a dream haircut he has is
- 1:12:37fire. I saw it that way.
- 1:12:38That is supa fire. Now Mikey, that man's hair is
- 1:12:42about 8 inches plus milligrams is currently.
- 1:12:45We got years to go. We're going to go there though.
- 1:12:48I'm going to get them out some few little vitamins and give
- 1:12:50them bro, you know, and. You want to cook.
- 1:12:52Your Natal vitamins as well. It'll be both.
- 1:12:55I'm just saying fair that when that time comes.
- 1:12:57Yep, exactly. No, we're there.
- 1:12:58If you're going to go mullet to go even shorter on top to
- 1:13:02accentuate how much of the mullet it is.
- 1:13:03Yeah, actually, could you shave? Back maybe a little bit on the
- 1:13:06Dome, like maybe halfway back on the top.
- 1:13:08It's George much better. Like might be better.
- 1:13:11It's a little. More Back to mullet.
- 1:13:13Right now. Yeah, I mean, you know, if
- 1:13:16that's what we got to do. I mean the top has the bowl
- 1:13:21shape. And yeah, so I.
- 1:13:23Get friend, tell that's not the moment yet.
- 1:13:25Like he keeps calling it a bowl. So I thought it's way it is.
- 1:13:30So I I did rock a legit bowl cut for most of high school and
- 1:13:35Dickie's shorts and I was trying really hard to get women and had
- 1:13:38very little success. The scales tip different ways.
- 1:13:46And. You know, we had a good run and.
- 1:13:48We know I've got full. Mullet and all the women that I
- 1:13:51can. That's right, exactly.
- 1:13:52Yes. So I don't know, you know, but
- 1:13:57but this podcast is absolutely electric.
- 1:14:02So I've really appreciated that. Definitely if you get the
- 1:14:06chance, subscribe to Connor Tim YouTube channel Connor Tim or

- 1:14:29Yeah, do all of that and and we appreciate y'all.
- 1:14:34You got anything else to say? No, it was a fantastic pot.
- 1:14:37I do think Brittany opened up quite I mean it took about two
- 1:14:41hours, but about hour in, I think Brittany was just a
- 1:14:45natural. So Next up will be alive at some
- 1:14:49point where you know, you're on the spot.

- 1:15:22gifts. They are going to make great
- 1:15:24gifts. Women are going to flop to it
- 1:15:28like I do to clothing stores. Which isn't great if you're a
- 1:15:30wife purchasing it unless that's what you're into.
- 1:15:33But you know, everyone can make their personal choices dodge.
- 1:15:36You had something you wanted. I did.
- 1:15:38I want to say, I wanted to say that every single person here on
- 1:15:42this couch is pursuing their passions in some way, shape or

- 1:15:54way that you guys are. And I just want to encourage any
- 1:15:58of the viewers and everyone in this room to continue fighting
