- 3:25Speaker 2: Come on in. Hey, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, kick and TikTok.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Good morning, good morning, Good morning, y'all. Have quite a bit, y'all,
- 3:36Speaker 2: because y'all know, I have not been going live on
- 3:39Speaker 2: the various platforms, have not been going live on the
- 3:43Speaker 2: various platforms.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I've only been doing hosting my show, haven't been going live.
- 3:47Speaker 2: But y'all, I'm excited to announce that I will be
- 3:51Speaker 2: returning with my Monday Morning our Power Show in January.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And we are moving, y'all. We are moving to a
- 4:01Speaker 2: new place. We are moving to a new place. We
- 4:09Speaker 2: are moving to a new place. We are moving to
- 4:12Speaker 2: a new place. I'm gonna flip this screen around so
- 4:15Speaker 2: you guys can see where we are moving to.
- 4:18Speaker 1: We're gonna be going over.
- 4:19Speaker 2: To M power Me TV again. We are moving to
- 4:25Speaker 2: n M M as in Man power Me TV. I'm
- 4:32Speaker 2: excited about this move. Y'all's gonna give us an opportunity
- 4:36Speaker 2: to share with a broader audience. We're gonna be screaming
- 4:41Speaker 2: through you Rukul and various platforms. I'm excited about that.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I'm excited about that because I tell you I have
- 4:51Speaker 2: been streaming this particular show through blog Talk Radio for
- 4:57Speaker 2: the last four years. This year, blog Talk decided that
- 5:02Speaker 2: they were going to close their platform and no longer
- 5:05Speaker 2: have the opportunity to utilize that platform. I was streaming
- 5:11Speaker 2: through the Crew Podcast because of course y'all know that
- 5:15Speaker 2: that is my personal platform, but I did not want
- 5:20Speaker 2: to be the face of that. I wanted to be
- 5:24Speaker 2: in the backgrounds and do the background work and give
- 5:26Speaker 2: other individuals an opportunity to allow their voices to be heard.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So I think probably midway through this year, I decided
- 5:39Speaker 1: that I was going to stop doing what I was doing,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and I was going to.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I was going to try to find another home, and
- 6:00Speaker 2: God opened up the door for me to be able
- 6:04Speaker 2: to move to this platform. I'm excited. I'm excited. So
- 6:10Speaker 2: I want you guys to make sure that you stick
- 6:12Speaker 2: around so that you can see the launch of this
- 6:15Speaker 2: platform again. Hour of Power, which stands for a position
- 6:22Speaker 2: overcomer will investle, educate, empower, and encourage through resilience. Y'all.
- 6:28Speaker 2: We are moving to Inpower Me TV. Y'all be able
- 6:33Speaker 2: to see us on Roucoul and probably three other different stations.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I will have more details for you guys for coming.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I'm excited. I'm excited, does not. The Crew podcast is
- 6:47Speaker 2: still up and running, y'all. We're getting ready to kick
- 6:49Speaker 2: off season four. We close out season three December the
- 6:54Speaker 2: thirty first, and we take a one month hiatus and
- 6:59Speaker 2: we will return February the first. We have some new
- 7:04Speaker 2: hosts that's gonna be joining the network. I'm excited about that.
- 7:09Speaker 2: But yeah, y'all, we're headed into our fourth season and
- 7:13Speaker 2: I thank God for the opportunity. If you guys missed
- 7:18Speaker 2: the show last night, of course, y'all know, I am
- 7:22Speaker 2: on the w b n N, which is a top
- 7:26Speaker 2: radio network that screams through talkshoot dot com. I will
- 7:31Speaker 2: be headed into my sixth season over there. If you
- 7:35Speaker 2: missed that show last night, y'all, my that was my
- 7:39Speaker 2: final show for this year. You will not see me
- 7:43Speaker 2: again until January. But I tell you What a year?
- 7:49Speaker 1: What a year?
- 7:50Speaker 2: It has been an amazing year. I think I hit.
- 7:56Speaker 1: A what do you call it?
- 8:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, I think I hit a record every
- 8:05Speaker 2: month except for one month, So eleven months out of
- 8:11Speaker 2: this year, I have broken a connection record. And when
- 8:15Speaker 2: we say connection, that means the number of people that
- 8:19Speaker 2: tune into your show. So I'm a super super excited
- 8:24Speaker 2: about that. But while I came on today, outside of
- 8:29Speaker 2: sharing with you guys about that move and about some
- 8:34Speaker 2: of the things that we're going to be doing, y'all
- 8:36Speaker 2: still make sure that you are following the Crew podcast
- 8:40Speaker 2: because we are still doing our thing over here. All
- 8:43Speaker 2: of those hosts are still doing their thing. But I
- 8:47Speaker 2: wanted to share with you guys the Novembers magazine.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I received it on yesterday.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I received it on yesterday, and y'all know, I like
- 8:57Speaker 2: to come on here and share with you guys the magazine.
- 9:02Speaker 2: The magazine, y'all, it is here. If you have not
- 9:07Speaker 2: taken the opportunity to check out the magazine, I want
- 9:10Speaker 2: you guys to check out this magazine.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Y'all see how clear this is.
- 9:16Speaker 2: And I'm gonna show you guys some of the inside
- 9:19Speaker 2: pages so you can see what we do over here
- 9:23Speaker 2: on the aspiring off this magazine. So this particular month,
- 9:29Speaker 2: we celebrated Destiny International Ministries. It was their Holy Conivocation,
- 9:35Speaker 2: so we shared a little bit about them inside of
- 9:39Speaker 2: this magazine. So here are some other individuals that participated
- 9:43Speaker 2: in that particular program. Apostle Doctor Kimberly Thomas is the
- 9:50Speaker 2: overseer of that ministry. She writes for the magazine. So
- 9:55Speaker 2: I wanted to share what they are doing and share
- 9:59Speaker 2: their message.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Y'all. We have a community section.
- 10:05Speaker 2: We talk about things that affect all black and brown community,
- 10:09Speaker 2: things that a lot of people don't like to talk about,
- 10:12Speaker 2: but things that needed to be talked about inside of
- 10:16Speaker 2: our community, things that are going on, things that sometimes
- 10:19Speaker 2: get overlooked by the so called media. So we take
- 10:25Speaker 2: an opportunity to share those things inside of this magazine.
- 10:33Speaker 2: So we talked about gratitude, We talked about men's health,
- 10:38Speaker 2: we talked about honoring military, we talked about diabetes and
- 10:45Speaker 2: all timers. My nephew is currently serving in the Navy,
- 10:51Speaker 2: so of course I highlighted him inside of the magazine.
- 10:54Speaker 2: He was also home for Thanksgiving, so I got an
- 10:56Speaker 2: opportunity to spend some time with him, so he just
- 10:59Speaker 2: highlights inside of this magazine. I wrote a tribute to
- 11:03Speaker 2: him and I wrote a poem for him. Then we
- 11:09Speaker 2: have a poetry section. So the poetry section is normally
- 11:14Speaker 2: handled by the poet of the year. Unfortunately, the poet
- 11:18Speaker 2: of the year this year decided to step down, so
- 11:24Speaker 2: I had to take.
- 11:24Speaker 1: On that position. So everyone that knows knows that I
- 11:29Speaker 1: am also a poet.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I have quite a few poetry books out, some poetry anthologies.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I think we have a series that we are completing
- 11:39Speaker 2: right now. I think I have about four or five
- 11:41Speaker 2: poetry series. I love doing anathologies because it gives individuals
- 11:46Speaker 2: an opportunity to share their work and to connect with
- 11:49Speaker 2: other people.
- 11:50Speaker 1: And I love it so.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Inside matter of fact, this is one of the books
- 11:59Speaker 2: that dropped in this series, so you can see some
- 12:01Speaker 2: of the individuals that's in here. So I share a
- 12:03Speaker 2: little bit about them, share a little bit about our
- 12:09Speaker 2: poetry series, and then I wrote a poem to those
- 12:12Speaker 2: poets that participated, So you're gonna get an opportunity to
- 12:17Speaker 2: get a little a bit about me and see a
- 12:20Speaker 2: little bit about my poetry flow and things of that nature.
- 12:26Speaker 1: And then I talked about my poetry books. So for
- 12:31Speaker 1: that person that wins Poet of the Year, they get
- 12:37Speaker 1: an opportunity to.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Write in this section for the whole year, so they
- 12:42Speaker 2: would kick off from April of twenty twenty six and
- 12:46Speaker 2: they will write until April of twenty twenty seven when
- 12:49Speaker 2: the next Poet of the Year take over.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So if you are a.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Poet and you are out there, you have an opportunity
- 12:57Speaker 2: to self nominate if you know a poet, a really
- 13:00Speaker 2: good poet, and you would like to nominate them, y'all,
- 13:03Speaker 2: we are currently accepting nominations for Poet other year. Again,
- 13:08Speaker 2: the Poet of the Year get an opportunity to write
- 13:11Speaker 2: in this section for one whole year, so they were
- 13:15Speaker 2: right from April of twenty twenty six until April of
- 13:19Speaker 2: twenty twenty seven. They get an opportunity to share their
- 13:23Speaker 2: poetry and they get an opportunity to highlight other poets.
- 13:27Speaker 2: However they choose to utilize this section. They get a
- 13:32Speaker 2: chance to utilize this section. It's usually four pages, so
- 13:36Speaker 2: you see this is two pages and this is the
- 13:39Speaker 2: fourth page. So then we have a business section, so
- 13:46Speaker 2: we share things inside of the business section that reflects
- 13:52Speaker 2: authorship and entrepreneurship. So this particular, this particular book, I
- 13:59Speaker 2: mean magazine, and we did entrepreneurship turning your story into
- 14:04Speaker 2: a sustainable business. We did closing the wealth gap, building
- 14:09Speaker 2: black and Brown excellent through entrepreneurship, and then I did
- 14:13Speaker 2: a a article on tech and how tech is for
- 14:20Speaker 2: us empowering the black and Brown innovators in the digital age.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So that is one of the articles inside. So I
- 14:27Speaker 2: talked a little bit about book branding and things of
- 14:30Speaker 2: that nature. And then All Things Books is done by
- 14:37Speaker 2: South Carolina book gal Patrisea Grimball is over that section, y'all.
- 14:43Speaker 1: She is amazing.
- 14:44Speaker 2: She has been with the Charleston County Library for twenty
- 14:49Speaker 2: years and she shares inside of this. She highlights poets,
- 14:56Speaker 2: I mean, she highlights authors. She shared interviews about authors
- 15:01Speaker 2: that she's done, and then she shared a little bit
- 15:04Speaker 2: about whatever that month she wants to honor that month.
- 15:09Speaker 2: So this particular section, she did a article on holding
- 15:14Speaker 2: on to Home, how African American families traditions are faded
- 15:19Speaker 2: and how we can bring them back. So she did
- 15:23Speaker 2: a section on that within that, and then she always
- 15:29Speaker 2: shares her reading list, so she does a reading list,
- 15:32Speaker 2: which includes children zero to nine, and then you have
- 15:36Speaker 2: the twins ten to fourteen, and then you have the
- 15:40Speaker 2: young adults fourteen to seventeen, and then adults eighteen and over.
- 15:45Speaker 2: And then she always do a book review, so you'll
- 15:49Speaker 2: see a book review right here on this page. This
- 15:55Speaker 2: is an advertisement. So this is Trevida. Trivida is one
- 15:58Speaker 2: of the host on the Crew podcast. She is also
- 16:04Speaker 2: a self publishing coach. She edits and she published, so
- 16:11Speaker 2: she does a lot. So you get an opportunity to
- 16:15Speaker 2: find out a little bit about her work, how you
- 16:17Speaker 2: can connect with her and the things that she's doing.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And then in this section, I get an opportunity to
- 16:27Speaker 2: highlight some poets and some authors. Usually I do two poets,
- 16:33Speaker 2: two authors, whatever it's available. So this month we had
- 16:37Speaker 2: an opportunity to highlight this poet and this poet, so
- 16:44Speaker 2: I share a little bit about them, and then they
- 16:50Speaker 2: submit a poem, so they get to share a poem
- 16:53Speaker 2: inside of it as well.
- 16:56Speaker 1: And then.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I had an amazing opportunity to meet some amazing poets
- 17:05Speaker 2: at an event that I was a part of a
- 17:07Speaker 2: panel in Charleston, South Carolina in November. So these two
- 17:13Speaker 2: amazing individuals were on the same panel with me. They
- 17:17Speaker 2: are poets. One is the Charleston's poet Lorette. One is
- 17:21Speaker 2: from Columbia and doing some amazing things. So I share
- 17:24Speaker 2: a little bit about them and their books and how
- 17:27Speaker 2: you can connect with them. So this is an opportunity
- 17:30Speaker 2: where you if you are an author or a poet,
- 17:33Speaker 2: or you are a creator and you want an opportunity
- 17:36Speaker 2: to share your brand, this is an opportunity for you
- 17:38Speaker 2: to connect and share your brand as well. And then, y'all,
- 17:49Speaker 2: I do reviews on a couple of books. So I
- 17:51Speaker 2: picked a couple of books to do a review on.
- 17:54Speaker 2: So that is a copy of the reviews that I did.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I did a review on Alla called Give Me Love
- 18:01Speaker 2: and Thanksgiving Novella, and then there was another one called
- 18:06Speaker 2: Grandma's Thanksgiving Dinner. And then we have the Free Texas
- 18:13Speaker 2: Campaign section. So inside of the Free Texas Campaign section, y'all,
- 18:19Speaker 2: it started out as an opportunity for us to really
- 18:23Speaker 2: talk about some things that were affecting those that were
- 18:26Speaker 2: incarcerated in t d c J, which is the Texas
- 18:30Speaker 2: Criminal Department of Justice, so those that are behind prison
- 18:35Speaker 2: walls and.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Td c J.
- 18:37Speaker 2: So within this you will find different things that we
- 18:40Speaker 2: talk about. So this particular article, we talked about some
- 18:47Speaker 2: new divisions that t d c J has created to
- 18:51Speaker 2: help possibly make t d c J a a better
- 18:57Speaker 2: environment to really try to help them through rehabilitation and
- 19:03Speaker 2: not just be enablers and not just be a place
- 19:06Speaker 2: to house individuals, but to do what they're supposed to do,
- 19:09Speaker 2: and that is to rehabilitate. So I share a little
- 19:12Speaker 2: bit about that inside here, and then I shared a
- 19:18Speaker 2: story of Christopher nee Hist. Christopher nee Hist is one
- 19:23Speaker 2: of the young men that if you're on TikTok, you've
- 19:29Speaker 2: probably heard his name floating around on some of the panels,
- 19:34Speaker 2: so we have been sharing a little bit about his story.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I was able to do a little research and find
- 19:42Speaker 2: out a little bit about him outside of what I've
- 19:47Speaker 2: been hearing on panels. And then, of course, y'all, I
- 19:51Speaker 2: did an article on Sarah Fields, Yes I did. I
- 19:57Speaker 2: did an article on Sarah Fields and some of the
- 20:02Speaker 2: things that she has been doing around these social media streets.
- 20:08Speaker 2: So I share a little bit of facts behind her
- 20:11Speaker 2: since everybody is running over there and supporting her and
- 20:15Speaker 2: supporting those lives. So I just wanted to share some
- 20:18Speaker 2: truth to really who she is and what she is doing. So, y'all,
- 20:23Speaker 2: this is an article on her inside of this amazing magazine. Y'all.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Anything affecting our community, I'm putting it out there. I'm
- 20:34Speaker 2: putting it out there so that people can see what's
- 20:37Speaker 2: affecting our community. And then.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Wrote a little bit about understanding.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Self defense in Texas, because that's what we have been
- 20:51Speaker 2: talking about. If you go on a lot of the
- 20:53Speaker 2: panels over on TikTok, you'll hear individuals talking about self defense. Y'all.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Self defense is not a crime.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So I share about the five core rules to self defense,
- 21:05Speaker 2: and I share a little bit about.
- 21:07Speaker 1: The Carmelo Anthony's case. So this is the article that
- 21:13Speaker 1: I did on that.
- 21:15Speaker 2: And then the final section inside of this book magazine, y'all,
- 21:21Speaker 2: this is a magazine, not a book. But the last
- 21:24Speaker 2: section inside of this magazine is called His Story twenty
- 21:29Speaker 2: four seven thirty sixty five. Because you know, they like
- 21:32Speaker 2: to give us February. They're not to give us the
- 21:34Speaker 2: shortest fount of the year, when yet we are history
- 21:38Speaker 2: all year long. We are constantly creating history. We are
- 21:44Speaker 2: constantly doing something that needs to be recognized. And then
- 21:50Speaker 2: there are a lot of things that have happened in
- 21:55Speaker 2: history that they don't talk about. So I try to
- 21:59Speaker 2: touch on those things that people don't like to talk about,
- 22:04Speaker 2: things that people like to keep under the rug. So
- 22:08Speaker 2: this particular section I focused on the Hidden Harvest. It's
- 22:13Speaker 2: the title is called the Hidden Harvest, the Little Known
- 22:17Speaker 2: Role of Thanksgiving and Black History.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Because we know it's the thing.
- 22:22Speaker 2: It was the Thanksgiving season, So I wanted to really
- 22:25Speaker 2: share a little bit about Thanksgiving and how it was
- 22:33Speaker 2: really recognized in Black history. So there's a section here
- 22:40Speaker 2: the end of Harvest, a time of danger and hope,
- 22:44Speaker 2: from survivor to celebration, the Church, the heartbeat of Thanksgiving,
- 22:49Speaker 2: a table of remembrance, and a forgotten chapter remembered. So y'all,
- 22:55Speaker 2: I share some things that can get your mind to
- 22:59Speaker 2: going and get your thinking. And then on the back
- 23:03Speaker 2: there is a picture of two of the young men
- 23:07Speaker 2: that we are yet fighting for seeking justice for them.
- 23:13Speaker 2: That is Carmelo Anthony and Christopher Meehis and I talk
- 23:19Speaker 2: about why self defense, Why self defense is not a crime.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I talk about understanding self defense and the legal foundation,
- 23:29Speaker 2: the realities behind headlines, empowering communities to know your rights,
- 23:35Speaker 2: and a call for clarity and justice. And then the
- 23:39Speaker 2: final little section in there is let's stand together. So
- 23:45Speaker 2: I try to tie it all in. So this is
- 23:48Speaker 2: pretty much the magazine. We dropped a magazine every month
- 23:54Speaker 2: and it drops between the twentieth in the last day
- 23:57Speaker 2: of the month. This month, I'm going to try to
- 24:00Speaker 2: get it out early so that hopefully you guys can
- 24:04Speaker 2: have it in your hand around the Christmas holidays, so
- 24:09Speaker 2: definitely be on the lookout for that. I am working
- 24:14Speaker 2: on it currently right now, but I just wanted to
- 24:17Speaker 2: jump on and just share with you guys. Don't slip
- 24:23Speaker 2: on the Spying Office magazine, y'all. We are available on
- 24:28Speaker 2: Amazon in the digital. You also can go to mad Cloud.
- 24:33Speaker 2: It is available in digital and in print, and then
- 24:38Speaker 2: you can go to blurb if you want a printed copy,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and we print every month. A printed copy is thirty
- 24:47Speaker 2: dollars and y'all see the quality. I just want y'all
- 24:53Speaker 2: to see the quality. You can see it is a
- 24:58Speaker 2: not your average magaz because it really focused on our community.
- 25:04Speaker 2: It is a magazine that is written by us for us.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I'm not saying that we don't touch on other topics
- 25:12Speaker 2: and other other communities and different things, but it is
- 25:15Speaker 2: focused on our community because we have not always had
- 25:21Speaker 2: an opportunity to be a voice. We've not always had
- 25:24Speaker 2: an opportunity to allow our voices to speak.
- 25:28Speaker 1: So this is what I do.
- 25:32Speaker 2: In order to see change, you have to be that change.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And I am the change that I desire to see
- 25:37Speaker 2: in this world. And I use all of my platforms
- 25:41Speaker 2: to do that. I hope you guys will stay connected
- 25:45Speaker 2: and join me every Monday starting in January. You're gonna
- 25:51Speaker 2: get an opportunity to check me out on empower me TV.
- 25:56Speaker 2: It is going to be screaming through Real Cool and
- 25:58Speaker 2: all of those various platforms, but you'll get an opportunity.
- 26:01Speaker 1: To check me out over there.
- 26:04Speaker 2: And I am going to start going live again sharing
- 26:09Speaker 2: devotions I started out, y'all.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I've had some health issues this year, but God is
- 26:15Speaker 1: yet faithful.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I'm trusted in believing that He's going to allow me
- 26:19Speaker 2: to be able to get back into the flow of
- 26:21Speaker 2: things and be able to do the things that He's
- 26:24Speaker 2: called me to do.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 26:25Speaker 2: We're up every morning at five am. We're headed into
- 26:29Speaker 2: our sixth year of five am prayer. So if you
- 26:34Speaker 2: are a prayer warrior and you are looking for a
- 26:37Speaker 2: place to come and pray, please join us on the
- 26:41Speaker 2: Servant Leader's prayer line. We go, we go in every
- 26:45Speaker 2: morning at five. We try to wrap it up about
- 26:49Speaker 2: six six point thirty. However, God leads. That's how we flow.
- 26:53Speaker 2: That's what we have been doing for the last almost
- 26:56Speaker 2: six years. Like I say, February, we will be going
- 27:00Speaker 2: into our sixth year, and we have a prayer list.
- 27:04Speaker 2: We call out those names every single day. Individuals join
- 27:09Speaker 2: us from all over and we we just want to
- 27:12Speaker 2: be doing those things that we know that we are
- 27:14Speaker 2: called to do, and we want to.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Be an impact.
- 27:17Speaker 2: I truly believe in educating, in power and encouraging. That's
- 27:21Speaker 2: one of my mattos. I call it the E three experience.
- 27:26Speaker 2: And we do that through the L three movement, which
- 27:29Speaker 2: is learn, love and Lead. For those that have been
- 27:33Speaker 2: following me for a while knows that Shania is the learned,
- 27:38Speaker 2: Pam is the love, and I am the lead. But
- 27:43Speaker 2: we all have had to operate in those various those
- 27:48Speaker 2: various forms, so we are the L three movement. There's
- 27:51Speaker 2: no big guys and no little us over there. We
- 27:55Speaker 2: are a team, and our overseer is Apostle doctor Thomas.
- 28:01Speaker 2: She is on these social media streets as well. She's
- 28:05Speaker 2: out of Tallahassee, Florida. She covers our line every single day.
- 28:10Speaker 2: And I am grateful for all of those queens that
- 28:14Speaker 2: are a part of that prayer line. I have to
- 28:15Speaker 2: give them a shout out. Sister Cheryl Northern LeGrande, Channette Johnson,
- 28:22Speaker 2: Stephanie Smith, Pastor Pastor Goings, Patricia Gowins, Renee Wiggins, and
- 28:32Speaker 2: even all those that have been a part of that
- 28:35Speaker 2: nine at some point in time, those that even sit
- 28:39Speaker 2: in in the gap that pray in silence, we thank you,
- 28:42Speaker 2: We appreciate you for coming on and being a part
- 28:46Speaker 2: of the prayer line with us. Again, if you guys
- 28:49Speaker 2: have not had an opportunity to grab you a copy
- 28:52Speaker 2: of this magazine, grab your copy. It is available on
- 28:56Speaker 2: all of those platforms that I just named. If you
- 28:59Speaker 2: want it in digital, it is available on Amazon if
- 29:01Speaker 2: you want a print. If you buy a printed copy
- 29:05Speaker 2: on mad Cloud, you also can get it in a
- 29:07Speaker 2: digital form as well. So if you get it from
- 29:11Speaker 2: mad Cloud, you can get it in a digital form
- 29:13Speaker 2: as well as the printed form. You can get it
- 29:16Speaker 2: on Blur and all you have to do is search
- 29:19Speaker 2: Aspiring Authors Magazine.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Again, y'all.
- 29:23Speaker 2: I share about different things inside of this magazine every month.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I try to try to focus on a lot of the.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Things that's affecting our community, things that you know, people
- 29:34Speaker 2: bring to my attention, or I just I just let
- 29:42Speaker 2: those that write, they have a freedom to write, you know,
- 29:46Speaker 2: what is laid on their heart. So we're always looking
- 29:49Speaker 2: for writers to join us. We're headed into our sixth year.
- 29:57Speaker 2: I started this magazine may have during the pandemic because
- 30:03Speaker 2: I needed another outlet because we wasn't able to get
- 30:06Speaker 2: out and travel and to go out and do all
- 30:10Speaker 2: of the things that we were doing because we used
- 30:12Speaker 2: to do author showcases. We used to go out every
- 30:15Speaker 2: it seemed like every two weeks we was in another city,
- 30:17Speaker 2: another state, hosting author pop ups and hosting different things.
- 30:22Speaker 2: But when the pandemic hit, we could no longer do
- 30:24Speaker 2: those things. But we needed a way that we could
- 30:26Speaker 2: still highlight our authors, highlight those that supported us, highlight those.
- 30:31Speaker 1: That were in our circle.
- 30:32Speaker 2: So God dropped that in my spirit, and then in
- 30:36Speaker 2: twenty twenty three, he allowed me to start the Crew podcast,
- 30:41Speaker 2: which is another outlet that we used to allow voices
- 30:44Speaker 2: to be heard all over the world.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 30:46Speaker 2: We've had guests on our show from India. We've had
- 30:51Speaker 2: people from Pakistan, We've had people from Africa. We are
- 30:55Speaker 2: a global.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Network.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Our magazine we feature people from the UK, we feature
- 31:03Speaker 2: people from Africa, We featured people from all over. I
- 31:07Speaker 2: tell you, it does my heart great when I can
- 31:10Speaker 2: go and I can look through those royalties and I
- 31:14Speaker 2: can see where somebody had purchased something other than US dollars.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I see that little sign that says, oh, somebody don't
- 31:24Speaker 2: purchase something from the UK. Somebody don't purchase something from
- 31:27Speaker 2: New Ghani. Somebody don't purchase something from places that I
- 31:30Speaker 2: never heard of, you know. And it does my heart
- 31:34Speaker 2: good because it lets me know that there are people
- 31:38Speaker 2: out there that are getting the message that they are
- 31:41Speaker 2: hearing the things that we're doing. They're grateful for the
- 31:44Speaker 2: things that we're doing. They appreciate it, and they support
- 31:47Speaker 2: So I'm still excited on y'all every time I see something.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I tell y'all.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Last night, having miss Weekly on that show and even
- 32:00Speaker 2: having Dwayne and Doctor Ceci asked the host of the
- 32:05Speaker 2: show last night and then being able to come on
- 32:08Speaker 2: and share and able to get that story out. If
- 32:12Speaker 2: y'all missed it, I'm telling you go over to YouTube
- 32:14Speaker 2: and watch that replay. Watch the replay of that show,
- 32:19Speaker 2: and watch the replay on my show. Because I upload
- 32:22Speaker 2: my show as well, even though it's on another network.
- 32:27Speaker 2: I go live during the show so that I can
- 32:30Speaker 2: be able to share with you guys what I'm doing
- 32:32Speaker 2: on that network. So again, I appreciate each and every
- 32:36Speaker 2: one of you guys that support the things that we do.
- 32:41Speaker 2: We won't be moved, we won't stop because we are
- 32:44Speaker 2: the change that we desire to see in this world.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Change starts and the end with us. So will you
- 32:50Speaker 2: be that change? I want to challenge you to finish
- 32:53Speaker 2: through y'all. We're headed into a new year, y'all. We
- 32:56Speaker 2: have exactly twenty days left in this year. Twenty days
- 33:02Speaker 2: left in this year, y'all. I know we may not
- 33:06Speaker 2: have been able to accomplish everything that we wanted to do,
- 33:10Speaker 2: but don't give up. Don't quit because you have so
- 33:16Speaker 2: many more opportunities ahead of you. Know that you didn't
- 33:21Speaker 2: get dropped out of the sky. He strategically placed you here.
- 33:26Speaker 2: There's a purpose, there's a reason for your being, there's
- 33:29Speaker 2: a reason for your existence. So I'm excited. I'm excited,
- 33:35Speaker 2: and y'all make sure that y'all follow y'all stay connected.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Y'all may see me going.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Live a little more. I've been on a lot of
- 33:43Speaker 1: the panels.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Y'all have not seen me going live on TikTok because
- 33:47Speaker 2: I participated in some of the panels over there, so
- 33:50Speaker 2: I'm usually sitting on a panel and supporting. I only
- 33:53Speaker 2: go live at five am, but I'm thinking about twenty
- 33:57Speaker 2: twenty six going back to doing my daily devotion. Since
- 34:01Speaker 2: I'm doing five in prayer anyway, I might as well
- 34:03Speaker 2: go ahead and do my eight am devotion, so I
- 34:07Speaker 2: may go back to doing that. I'm gonna see how
- 34:10Speaker 2: God leads me on that over these next couple of
- 34:14Speaker 2: these next couple of weeks twenty days, Y'll see how
- 34:16Speaker 2: He leads me over the next twenty days, and hopefully.
- 34:20Speaker 1: We will be relaunching the daily devotion.
- 34:26Speaker 2: I definitely have some devotions that I can share with
- 34:29Speaker 2: you guys, because that's that's what I do.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I have been working on some devotions.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I'm going to be working on songs during this Christmas
- 34:36Speaker 2: holiday season so that I can have them rented for
- 34:41Speaker 2: the new year.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So again, thank you guys for tuning in.
- 34:44Speaker 2: If you have not had a chance to grab your
- 34:47Speaker 2: copy of Aspiring Office magazine, go ahead and grab your copy.
