- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Hey my friend, thanks for listening to today's episode of the Daily Rider Podcast.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Each year on Christmas Eve, millions of people gather around their TV sets, or today they gather around their computer screens, to watch the classic film It's a Wonderful Life.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: The main character, George Bailey, has a chance to see what the small town of Bedford Falls would have been like if he had never been born.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: In one scene, just after George's mother slams the door in his face because she doesn't know him in this reality, the angel Clarence can see that George is really distressed, so he tells George, Strange, isn't it?
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Each man's life touches so many other lives.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: And when he isn't around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: George Bailey had a chance to see what life would have been like without him.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: He had no idea that he had changed the lives of every person in Bedford Falls.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: What about you?
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Do you know how many lives you've impacted through your writing and your overall life?
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: It's far more than you could ever possibly realize.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: The world would be less without your influence, your words, your inspiration, and your story.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: So don't doubt it for one second.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: You've really had a wonderful life, and you've made other people's lives more wonderful because you've been in this world.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Here's today's question.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: If given the chance to see what the world would be like without you, would you take it?
