hello welcome to the No God Coach Huddle
• 0:03
  for March 28 2025 your two-minute play
• 0:06
of the day for applying God's word in
• 0:08
your life so let's huddle up and here
• 0:11
today's play from Hebrews 5 which says
• 0:15
"And once made perfect he became the
• 0:18
source of eternal salvation for all who
• 0:21
obey him." We have much to say about
• 0:23
this but it's hard to make it clear to
• 0:25
you because you no longer try to
• 0:27
understand in fact though by this time
• 0:30
you ought to be teachers you need
• 0:32
someone to teach you the elementary
• 0:34
truths of God's word all over again you
• 0:37
need milk not solid food anyone who
• 0:41
lives on milk being still an infant is
• 0:44
not acquainted with a teaching about
• 0:46
righteousness but solid food is for the
• 0:48
mature who by constant use have trained
• 0:51
themselves to distinguish good from evil
• 0:56
jesus was made perfect when he completed
• 0:59
living his perfect life as a man then
• 1:02
offered himself upon the cross as
• 1:04
punishment for all the sins of all those
• 1:07
who come to him for eternal
• 1:10
salvation those who come to him for
• 1:13
  salvation assume the responsibility to
• 1:17
live like him by obeying everything he
• 1:19
commands even as he obeyed every word
• 1:22
from his father this obedience begins
• 1:25
  with repentance from everything that
• 1:27
Jesus died on the cross for our doing
• 1:30
  obedience continues by believing in
• 1:32
Jesus alone for our salvation and not in
• 1:36
any goodness we think we've done or
• 1:38
might possess by birth the Christian
• 1:41
life continues by loving Jesus with all
• 1:43
of our heart soul mind and strength
• 1:46
which is made evident by spending time
• 1:48
with him in scripture and prayer and
• 1:51
sharing him with others for that is the
• 1:53
purpose of our remaining here on earth
• 1:56
many who claim to be Christian have
• 1:57
grown weary of trying to know Jesus by
• 2:00
disciplining themselves in the habit of
• 2:02
daily prayer and Bible reading these
• 2:05
same Christians disciple no one not
• 2:07
teaching the ways of God to everyone so
• 2:10
that all of us obey everything Jesus
• 2:12
commands they do not practice obedience
• 2:16
so they compromise with the world making
• 2:18
it confusing to the seeking who God is
• 2:21
and what he requires of humanity if we
• 2:24
would prove our salvation by our
• 2:26
obedience to our savior we would live as
• 2:29
Jesus did who obeyed every word of
• 2:31
scripture while seeking and saving the
• 2:33
lost to establish its kingdom upon earth
• 2:36
  as it is in heaven
