Latest / Outspoken the Podcast / Anna & Atis Paul Break the Internet
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's your dose of the hottest influencer and pop culture
- 0:07Speaker 2: news twice a week.
- 0:09Speaker 1: I'm Sophie Torver and on today's show.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We're covering the biggest scandal to rock the Australian influencer space.
- 0:15Speaker 2: On Wednesday night, Anna and Addis Paul broke the internet
- 0:17Speaker 2: when they finally responded to Michaela Tester's podcast allegations, bringing
- 0:22Speaker 2: some receipts of their own, Kate. I was not expecting
- 0:25Speaker 2: this at all on Wednesday night. We were all around
- 0:27Speaker 2: for our family dinner and absolutely glued to our phones.
- 0:31Speaker 2: So many people have complained that their sleep was impacted
- 0:34Speaker 2: by this news. The timing is very interesting, but before
- 0:37Speaker 2: we go into what they said, I think we should
- 0:40Speaker 2: dive into some of the biggest allegations to come from
- 0:42Speaker 2: part two of Michaela Tester's podcast series. So this episode
- 0:47Speaker 2: was very dark and it was tough to get through.
- 0:49Speaker 2: In it, Michaela alleged that Addis Paul sexually assaulted her
- 0:53Speaker 2: while she was recovering from a BBL surgery. Addis has
- 0:56Speaker 2: since come out and denied this, saying it was logistically impossible,
- 0:59Speaker 2: but Michaela stands by the allegation. The other bombshell to
- 1:03Speaker 2: come out of this episode were claims that Anna made
- 1:06Speaker 2: derogatory comments about high-profile influencers, in particular, insulting comments made
- 1:11Speaker 2: about their eyes. This was just bizarre. She seems to
- 1:14Speaker 2: have some strange obsession, allegedly, with people who have close-set eyes.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I didn't even realise this was a thing. Yeah, it
- 1:20Speaker 2: reminded me of that scene on Mean Girls when Caddy
- 1:22Speaker 2: Haring is watching the plastics talk about all the features
- 1:25Speaker 2: that they don't like about themselves. And she's like, wow,
- 1:27Speaker 2: I had no idea that there could be so many
- 1:28Speaker 2: things that are wrong with you. And Michaela said that
- 1:31Speaker 2: she first became aware of Anna's apparent fixation with eyes
- 1:35Speaker 2: when Anna pointed out to Michaela that hers were apparently
- 1:38Speaker 2: too close together. Let's have a listen to what Michaela said.
- 1:42Speaker 3: One of the things that Anna told Addis about me
- 1:44Speaker 3: was that I'm ugly and that my eyes are too
- 1:46Speaker 3: close together. Okay, and obviously when Atis finally told me
- 1:55Speaker 3: that she had said this about me, I knew it
- 1:58Speaker 3: was true. I knew it was true because when she
- 2:01Speaker 3: met my sisters when I was there, so this was
- 2:03Speaker 3: like into the relationship when I was already living in
- 2:05Speaker 3: the house with them, she had made like a really
- 2:07Speaker 3: weird obscure comment to me and my siblings like, oh, like, yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 3: like I can see that you guys are siblings and
- 2:12Speaker 3: you guys are related because you guys all have the
- 2:15Speaker 3: same eyes, like a little too close together, right?
- 2:17Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:20Speaker 3: And when she said that comment, I laughed it off.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, like it's cute, whatever.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Like it's cute, like, right? It's like dull eyes.
- 2:29Speaker 1: So whatever.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Obviously backhanded compliment or it wasn't even a compliment, I
- 2:32Speaker 3: don't think. Obviously it's such a niche thing to say too.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I feel like this whole thing has just sparked a
- 2:39Speaker 2: new insecurity in women. Something else to be worried about
- 2:41Speaker 2: that's not quite right about your appearance.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Well, Michaela also claims that Anna made comments about Sofa Dofa,
- 2:47Speaker 2: Erica Titus and Isabel Clark all having apparently close set eyes,
- 2:52Speaker 2: as well as another one of Addis' former girlfriends. There
- 2:55Speaker 2: seemed to be such a focus in the Paul household
- 2:58Speaker 2: about this particular facial feature.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's so odd.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And this led to Michaela feeling really insecure. She started
- 3:05Speaker 2: to wear a lot of eyeliner to try and make.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Her eyes appear wider.
- 3:08Speaker 2: She also said she got filler in her eyelids and
- 3:11Speaker 2: looked into surgery in Turkey. Thankfully, she didn't go through
- 3:14Speaker 2: with the surgery. The irony is I've always thought Michaela
- 3:16Speaker 2: Testa had really beautiful eyes. So this whole thing has
- 3:19Speaker 2: absolutely thrown me. Now, according to Michaela, Anna was particularly
- 3:23Speaker 2: hard on Sofa Dofa because she was threatened by her success.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Here's some of what Michaela had to say.
- 3:30Speaker 3: A Sofidofa video pops up on Attis' phone. He turns
- 3:33Speaker 3: it up real loud and it's her doing a vlog.
- 3:35Speaker 1: She's talking.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Anna said some shit like, I don't know why she's,
- 3:39Speaker 3: she's just like trying to copy my content. And then
- 3:41Speaker 3: she said something about how she's so ugly and her
- 3:45Speaker 3: eyes are too close together. And she doesn't even want
- 3:47Speaker 3: to watch videos of her talking. And she's so sick
- 3:49Speaker 3: of it. Attis was laughing, cracking up. I don't even
- 3:52Speaker 3: know what else he said. He was just like, just
- 3:54Speaker 3: entertaining that fact.
- 3:57Speaker 2: She painted such a picture of them just bumming around
- 4:00Speaker 2: their house in the middle of the day, lying on
- 4:02Speaker 2: the couches, just laying into every person on their TikTok
- 4:06Speaker 2: for you page. I also love that Michaela pointed out
- 4:09Speaker 2: that they would listen to the videos on loud. Because
- 4:12Speaker 2: there's nothing ruder than when you're sitting with people and
- 4:15Speaker 2: they've got their TikTok on loud. Like you, every time
- 4:17Speaker 2: we go to record a podcast, you'll be like, oh, sorry,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I just need to go to the bathroom. And we'll
- 4:21Speaker 2: hear your phone on absolute level. Anyway, there really was
- 4:25Speaker 2: this picture painted that Anna was incredibly jealous and threatened
- 4:28Speaker 2: by other creators who were also vlogging and doing similar
- 4:32Speaker 2: things to her.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Maybe this was a way of bringing them down.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, despite Anna apparently viewing Sofa Dofa as competition,
- 4:38Speaker 2: Michaela became online friends with her because she really liked
- 4:41Speaker 2: her content. And when Michaela heard that Anna and Addis
- 4:44Speaker 2: were speaking badly of Sofa, it caused a big fight
- 4:48Speaker 2: in the house. I had forgotten about this, but Sofa,
- 4:51Speaker 2: Dofa and Addis actually have a history. So in 2022,
- 4:55Speaker 2: the pair were spotted looking pretty cozy together at the
- 4:58Speaker 2: Stax event, and then they were papped walking around Luna
- 5:01Speaker 2: Park alongside Anna. I had totally forgotten about this too,
- 5:04Speaker 2: so much so that I actually had to go back
- 5:06Speaker 2: and listen to our past episode on it. And it
- 5:08Speaker 2: was so interesting because Addis and Michaela had only been
- 5:12Speaker 2: broken up for a little over a month.
- 5:14Speaker 1: So it was clear that this was some sort.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Of tactic for Addis Paul to gain even more attention
- 5:19Speaker 2: around the breakup. And by picking arguably the next biggest TikToker,
- 5:24Speaker 2: he wanted so much attention and clout. TikTok went absolutely
- 5:28Speaker 2: wild over these photos and it prompted Michaela to warn
- 5:32Speaker 2: Addis to stay away from her friend. She also said
- 5:34Speaker 2: that she ended up messaging Sofa asking her what was
- 5:37Speaker 2: going on before warning her that the Poles had been
- 5:40Speaker 2: talking shit about her behind her back. It appeared Sofa
- 5:43Speaker 2: Dofa did not listen to Michaela's advice because not long after,
- 5:46Speaker 2: she was spotted FaceTiming Addis. So an eagle-eyed fan noticed
- 5:51Speaker 2: that the pair were FaceTiming each other on a screenshot
- 5:54Speaker 2: that Addis shared to his Instagram story. Funnily enough, he
- 5:57Speaker 2: was asking his followers their advice on furniture. And in
- 6:00Speaker 2: this screenshot, you could see the top of Sofa Dofa's head. Now,
- 6:04Speaker 2: of course, someone pieced all together and they created this
- 6:06Speaker 2: TikTok about it, which went absolutely viral. It's got over
- 6:09Speaker 2: 2 million views. And Gen Zers began predicting that they
- 6:12Speaker 2: were going to be the next big it couple of TikTok.
- 6:15Speaker 2: At the time when we covered this story, we speculated
- 6:18Speaker 2: whether this was all set up by Addis.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Paul in a bid to get more attention because.
- 6:22Speaker 2: The super sleuth who uploaded this video, they had only
- 6:25Speaker 2: just created their account. They had shared no other videos before.
- 6:28Speaker 2: So a lot of people saying, well, this is clearly Addis.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Why would he just randomly share a screenshot with Sofa
- 6:34Speaker 2: Dofa in it? He was trying to get everyone excited
- 6:37Speaker 2: and amped over this supposed relationship. It was very calculated
- 6:41Speaker 2: and seemed like a big fuck you to Michaela, particularly
- 6:43Speaker 2: because she was friendly with Sofa. Yeah, well, we now
- 6:46Speaker 2: know that Sofa messaged Michaela explaining herself. She wrote, hey, baby,
- 6:50Speaker 2: don't know if you've seen the TikTok, but I just
- 6:52Speaker 2: wanted to thank you for warning me about Addis because
- 6:55Speaker 2: we had a FaceTime where he was showing me his furniture.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Then today I've woken up to so much unnecessary drama
- 7:00Speaker 2: and after a video he made with me on FaceTime
- 7:03Speaker 2: in the corner. Even though you warned me, I give
- 7:06Speaker 2: everyone the benefit of the doubt and it feels shit
- 7:09Speaker 2: when you do that and still get brought into drama.
- 7:11Speaker 2: The whole thing is stupid anyway, because we just met
- 7:14Speaker 2: and barely knew each other. Anyway, just wanted to thank
- 7:16Speaker 2: you for warning me and hope you're okay. Next time
- 7:19Speaker 2: we're in the same state, let's hang out, please. I
- 7:21Speaker 2: like that Sofa Dofa actually went to explain herself because
- 7:24Speaker 2: she would have known she looked like a bit of
- 7:25Speaker 2: a prick when that video went viral of the FaceTiming
- 7:28Speaker 2: and she didn't heed Michaela Tester's warning, but at least
- 7:31Speaker 2: she cleared it up. Yeah, I find it fascinating actually
- 7:33Speaker 2: seeing what went on behind the scenes. Like, we're not
- 7:36Speaker 2: usually privy to this sort of information. Now, Sofa Dofa
- 7:40Speaker 2: wasn't the only influencer allegedly in the polls firing line.
- 7:44Speaker 2: This one broke a lot of people's hearts. Michaela claimed
- 7:47Speaker 2: that Anna and Addis would regularly make fun of TikToker
- 7:50Speaker 2: Jack Cooper, who is an Anna Paul super fan. So
- 7:53Speaker 2: for those on across his content, Jack has over 870,000
- 7:56Speaker 2: followers on TikToker. Here's a snippet of the content he
- 8:00Speaker 2: would share about Anna Paul.
- 8:02Speaker 4: I actually said to her, I feel like I'm meeting God.
- 8:05Speaker 4: I actually said that to her. I swear Anna Paul
- 8:09Speaker 4: could literally release shit in a bag and I would
- 8:11Speaker 4: buy it. Okay, so I just saw a video of
- 8:14Speaker 4: Anna Paul eating ice with avocado and condensed milk. It's
- 8:19Speaker 4: a Filipino dessert, but I mean, if Anna Paul's eating something,
- 8:22Speaker 4: that means obviously I've got to eat it.
- 8:25Speaker 2: His whole brand was being this Anna Paul stan. That's
- 8:28Speaker 2: how he gained a lot of his followers. He now
- 8:30Speaker 2: does share other sorts of content, but that is what
- 8:32Speaker 2: he was known for a couple of years ago.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Now, Michaela alleged that.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Anna and Addis would take the piss out of Jack
- 8:37Speaker 2: on social media, while she also claimed that she heard
- 8:40Speaker 2: Addis making homophobic, disgusting remarks about him.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Which Anna would apparently laugh about.
- 8:46Speaker 2: You could tell Michaela felt quite bad for mentioning this
- 8:49Speaker 2: because Jack is just like a little puppy doll.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Well, he's a sweetheart, isn't he?
- 8:52Speaker 2: It's like shooting Bambi. And it's been hard watching his
- 8:55Speaker 2: videos back because you can see he's really hurt. He
- 8:57Speaker 2: did respond in a very iconic way though. So he
- 9:00Speaker 2: shared a video of him at the dentist with the
- 9:02Speaker 2: full gown on, with black glasses and a plate in
- 9:05Speaker 2: his mouth with the caption, I'm at the dentist, guys.
- 9:07Speaker 2: What did I miss? He also shared another TikTok of
- 9:10Speaker 2: him in his bathroom and he was throwing out all
- 9:12Speaker 2: of the Paulie skincare that he'd bought. And he had
- 9:14Speaker 2: the caption, little did he know the one person he
- 9:17Speaker 2: loved and supported through everything for years and years actually
- 9:21Speaker 2: hated him behind closed doors. Jack then shared a TikTok
- 9:24Speaker 2: where he spoke directly to his followers, just pointing out
- 9:27Speaker 2: that he felt so embarrassed for ever hyping Anna Paul
- 9:30Speaker 2: up and making her part of his brand. He also
- 9:33Speaker 2: confirmed that he no longer supports her and they were
- 9:36Speaker 2: never friends. He said they only met twice at different
- 9:39Speaker 2: Stacks events. And he said his experience of meeting Anna
- 9:42Speaker 2: in person only backed up Michaela's claims.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Here's a snippet of what he said.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Mine and Anna's interaction, like I know it seemed like
- 9:49Speaker 4: we were like hanging out, but like we literally spoke
- 9:52Speaker 4: for maybe like one minute. And just to add to that,
- 9:55Speaker 4: I know like this is gonna fucking like i sound
- 9:57Speaker 4: crazy it's like maybe like blow your mind a little
- 9:59Speaker 4: bit i don't know like i truly just like felt
- 10:01Speaker 4: like okay like she fucking hates me like i gotta
- 10:04Speaker 4: i'll just leave like whatever okay goodbye like you know
- 10:06Speaker 4: it was kind of like that like i don't know
- 10:07Speaker 4: if it was just me in that instruction or whatever
- 10:09Speaker 4: but like what michaela's saying now about how you know
- 10:12Speaker 4: they spoke shit about me whatever it kind of makes
- 10:14Speaker 4: sense as to maybe why she's trying to.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Avoid me Now, the Clark family also got a mention.
- 10:20Speaker 2: So in the episode, Michaela alleged that Anna was closed
- 10:23Speaker 2: off to other influencers doing vlogs, particularly the Clarks. Again,
- 10:27Speaker 2: it seemed like she was quite threatened by their content.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Michaela claimed Anna would always say fucked up things about
- 10:32Speaker 2: the family and how they were copying her. Kat Clark
- 10:35Speaker 2: has responded in the most iconic way.
- 10:39Speaker 6: Anna Paul has been talking badly about me and my family,
- 10:42Speaker 6: saying that we're copying her, so I thought I would
- 10:44Speaker 6: show you some differences. Firstly, I'm a mum and I
- 10:46Speaker 6: need to be mindful about what I do for work
- 10:48Speaker 6: because my daughter and the younger generation that follow me
- 10:51Speaker 6: look up to me and will most likely want to
- 10:52Speaker 6: copy me, just like Deja has already. Today we're also
- 10:55Speaker 6: setting up the break room for our casual staff. We're
- 10:57Speaker 6: hiring some more people because we're going to be overseas
- 11:00Speaker 6: for most of the year, really, and we need some
- 11:02Speaker 6: people to help us. Oh my God, you guys, I
- 11:04Speaker 6: forgot about the food in the fridge and the fridge
- 11:06Speaker 6: has been off all week. But at least I haven't
- 11:08Speaker 6: forgotten about all my animals. Actually, I only have one animal. Oh,
- 11:12Speaker 6: and this is my husband. He sees me nude, not
- 11:14Speaker 6: my brother.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Oh, I broke a nail, but it wasn't because.
- 11:17Speaker 6: My husband was slamming on the brakes to scare me.
- 11:19Speaker 6: I've just been working really hard, but soon that's going
- 11:21Speaker 6: to end because we leave for Japan and then straight
- 11:22Speaker 6: after we're going to Coachella.
- 11:24Speaker 7: Dream!
- 11:24Speaker 6: She doesn't have close set eyes. She has one eye.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Thank God. So no one can tease her about how
- 11:29Speaker 6: close her eyes are. What the hell?
- 11:31Speaker 4: Who does that?
- 11:31Speaker 6: People are mean about the weirdest thing. I used to
- 11:33Speaker 6: get teased about looking pregnant. So I've been on this
- 11:35Speaker 6: massive health kick. It's not intermittent fasting and forcing everyone
- 11:38Speaker 6: else around me to do it because they're fat too.
- 11:40Speaker 6: It's called eating healthy.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I love that all the influencers are getting creative with
- 11:45Speaker 2: their comeback videos. It's quite clear they've all been hurt
- 11:49Speaker 2: by these comments. Yeah, I think it's really hurt their egos. Now,
- 11:52Speaker 2: in terms of Michaela's allegations, she also provided further information
- 11:57Speaker 2: and receipts about allegations that have already been leveled at
- 12:00Speaker 2: the polls. So she went into more depth about her
- 12:03Speaker 2: claim that Anna neglects her animals and uses them for content.
- 12:06Speaker 2: We actually covered that in depth on an episode a
- 12:08Speaker 2: couple of weeks ago. Michaela also confirmed Veruca's assault was
- 12:12Speaker 2: correct in saying that Hans Paul was homeless and she
- 12:15Speaker 2: labelled him a victim of the family. And Michaela also
- 12:18Speaker 2: spoke about Anna and Addis' half-sister, Sarah. She claimed that Vildan,
- 12:22Speaker 2: Anna and Addis' mother, made it really difficult for Hans
- 12:25Speaker 2: to see his daughter and she was the reason Anna
- 12:28Speaker 2: and Addis didn't know her. I love how Michaela made
- 12:30Speaker 2: this point that she was not going to call Vildan
- 12:33Speaker 2: mama anymore.
- 12:33Speaker 1: She's like, you're not my mama anymore.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think Vildan would be too pleased with
- 12:37Speaker 2: these videos that are coming out, but Michaela Testa has
- 12:39Speaker 2: not painted a pretty picture of her. Now, before Anna
- 12:42Speaker 2: and Addis put out their statements on Wednesday, it was
- 12:44Speaker 2: quite interesting because Michaela actually shared a birthday message to
- 12:49Speaker 2: their half-sister, Sarah, which it almost felt like that ignited
- 12:53Speaker 2: the situation more. Now, it took the polls more than
- 12:56Speaker 2: two weeks to respond, but Addis and Anna finally broke
- 12:59Speaker 2: their silence last Wednesday night. Addis was the first of
- 13:02Speaker 2: the siblings, releasing a written statement on his Instagram feed,
- 13:06Speaker 2: and he came out absolutely swinging. So he accused Michaela
- 13:09Speaker 2: of using their toxic relationship as a weapon to destroy
- 13:13Speaker 2: Anna and assume her life. He continued saying, I want
- 13:16Speaker 2: to start by saying Anna had no place in our relationship,
- 13:20Speaker 2: and surely in 2025 we can agree that my mistakes
- 13:23Speaker 2: are mine, just because Anna is the well-known one that
- 13:26Speaker 2: doesn't excuse blaming another woman for the mistakes of her brother.
- 13:30Speaker 2: The blame rests with me and Mick. To blame my
- 13:32Speaker 2: bad choices and actions on another woman for clicks and
- 13:35Speaker 2: views is disgusting. I found it interesting that this was
- 13:38Speaker 2: the message that the PR team told him to run
- 13:41Speaker 2: with in the opening of his statement, because everyone is
- 13:44Speaker 2: probably going to take the time to read the first page,
- 13:46Speaker 2: probably not the 10th slide. It's almost as if they
- 13:49Speaker 2: were throwing him out to the wolves to save Anna's career.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I mean, it makes sense in terms of the media
- 13:55Speaker 2: love pitting women against each other, and that's what's happened
- 13:57Speaker 2: in this case. It's just strange that Addis Paul would
- 14:01Speaker 2: want to insert himself into the firing line. That part
- 14:03Speaker 2: of the statement was really clever because there has been
- 14:05Speaker 2: this rhetoric online. Why are we pointing just the blame
- 14:08Speaker 2: at Anna when Addis has been the one who's been
- 14:10Speaker 2: accused of all these heinous things? Well, he is 100%
- 14:13Speaker 2: correct in saying that the blame should rest with him.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But I do think a person who appears to have
- 14:18Speaker 2: enabled his behavior also deserves some of the blame. And
- 14:22Speaker 2: when I read this first slide, I was like, wow,
- 14:24Speaker 2: he's actually taking accountability for his actions. But as we continue,
- 14:28Speaker 2: you'll see that this doesn't last very long. Getting into
- 14:31Speaker 2: more of his statement, he did acknowledge that his relationship
- 14:34Speaker 2: with Michaela was toxic, unhealthy and destroyed both of their
- 14:38Speaker 2: mental health. In terms of taking accountability, he wrote some
- 14:41Speaker 2: of the stories she has.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Told are true.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Most are absurdly exaggerated and some are so twisted, I'm
- 14:46Speaker 2: in shock. He also admitted to being awful, but then said,
- 14:50Speaker 2: but even in my darkest moments, I wasn't the person
- 14:53Speaker 2: she has invented me. in her mission to become Australia's
- 14:56Speaker 2: most followed influencer. This was an interesting sentiment that Anna
- 14:59Speaker 2: actually echoed in her own statement. And it's clear that
- 15:02Speaker 2: they felt this was the smoking gun, that Michaela is
- 15:06Speaker 2: doing all of this because she's trying to become Anna
- 15:09Speaker 2: and become really popular. But what's crazy about that is
- 15:12Speaker 2: that's the same sort of shit they were trying to
- 15:14Speaker 2: level against Addis' ex-girlfriend.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just the same.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Oh, she just wants followers and that's why she's doing it.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It seems to be their big comeback. Yeah, everyone's jealous
- 15:22Speaker 2: of us and wants to be us. Now, in this statement,
- 15:24Speaker 2: Addis denied many of the accusations Michaela leveled at him.
- 15:27Speaker 2: He wrote, I never had sex with Michaela while she slept,
- 15:31Speaker 2: never ran at her with a knife or touched her
- 15:33Speaker 2: in anger. And there was never a time where I
- 15:35Speaker 2: cut my wrists and spread blood on a wall. He
- 15:38Speaker 2: went on to claim that it was logistically impossible to
- 15:40Speaker 2: have sex with Michaela while she was asleep and recovering
- 15:43Speaker 2: from her BBL surgery. Now, he also denied that he
- 15:46Speaker 2: financially abused Michaela or stole her cryptocurrency. He claimed he
- 15:50Speaker 2: was an integral part of her OnlyFans success and alleged
- 15:54Speaker 2: that the promotions he ran tripled her monthly earnings. But
- 15:57Speaker 2: he did confirm he took a 50% cut of her earnings,
- 16:00Speaker 2: but alleged that he used some of his cut to
- 16:02Speaker 2: pay for promotions. And he ended up sharing a bunch
- 16:05Speaker 2: of very confusing screenshots as receipts to back up these
- 16:09Speaker 2: claims about the earnings and promotions. I tried zooming in
- 16:13Speaker 2: on the receipts about the promos, but they went all pixelated.
- 16:16Speaker 2: They were very hard to read. From what I could decipher,
- 16:18Speaker 2: these promotions weren't expensive at all. They ranged from around
- 16:22Speaker 2: $ 20 to $ 1, 200. I wouldn't say it was a huge
- 16:26Speaker 2: chunk out of his 50% cut. By sharing these receipts,
- 16:29Speaker 2: Addis ended up doxing Michaela's iCloud email address and meaning
- 16:32Speaker 2: that people could call and text her, which they ended
- 16:35Speaker 2: up doing. Yeah, and there's also a screenshot which contained
- 16:38Speaker 2: an image of Michaela nude from behind. Do you think
- 16:41Speaker 2: he purposely left this stuff in?
- 16:43Speaker 8: Yes.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Because surely if he did have a PR team telling
- 16:46Speaker 2: him or helping him with this response, they would have said,
- 16:50Speaker 2: scrub out her email address.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Well, they probably gave advice, but he ultimately pulled the
- 16:54Speaker 1: trigger on his own response.
- 16:55Speaker 2: He did come out and say that he assumed that
- 16:57Speaker 2: Michaela probably didn't use that email address anymore because it
- 16:59Speaker 2: said Michaela Paul using his last name. In retaliation for
- 17:04Speaker 2: revealing her private contact details, Michaela released Addis' mobile number
- 17:09Speaker 2: and Veruca Salt then got in on the action, doxing
- 17:11Speaker 2: Anna Paul's mobile number. Oh, wonder how quick they were
- 17:14Speaker 2: to change those. Now, after defending himself, Addis then leveled
- 17:17Speaker 2: allegations against Michaela. So rather than addressing why he lied
- 17:22Speaker 2: about sending his underage ex-girlfriend a cease and desist letter,
- 17:25Speaker 2: he instead claimed that Michaela was the chief architect behind
- 17:29Speaker 2: the YouTube statement they released about it. He then accused
- 17:32Speaker 2: Michaela of impersonating different online personas to trick people into
- 17:36Speaker 2: giving her information. He claimed he had no idea what
- 17:39Speaker 2: she was up to and as a receipt referenced the
- 17:41Speaker 2: story that we shared on our podcast about how Michaela
- 17:44Speaker 2: had sent us a DM threatening to sue us back
- 17:47Speaker 2: in 2021 when we covered the story about Addis and
- 17:50Speaker 2: his ex. Addis wrote, or recently when the Outspoken podcast
- 17:53Speaker 2: tackled about how she personally threatened to sue them when
- 17:56Speaker 2: they covered the topic, something else we learned after she
- 17:59Speaker 2: had done it.
- 17:59Speaker 1: You guys touched on this on.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Friday, but I was shocked that the outspoken podcast got
- 18:03Speaker 2: a mention in this statement. To me, it shows how
- 18:06Speaker 2: much they must be scraping the barrel to even mention
- 18:09Speaker 2: that because it wasn't that big of a deal. Particularly
- 18:11Speaker 2: when 99% of the podcast was anti-human, just airing Michaela's allegations.
- 18:16Speaker 2: It's quite clear that both parties have just been going
- 18:19Speaker 2: through every single DM or message they've ever sent to
- 18:22Speaker 2: each other to dissect something that will make someone look bad. Oh,
- 18:25Speaker 2: it's just a gotcha situation that's going on. Now, I'm
- 18:28Speaker 2: finding it really frustrating because it is detracting away from
- 18:31Speaker 2: the important messaging around sexual assault that Michaela is trying
- 18:35Speaker 2: to call out. And I do think that is a
- 18:36Speaker 2: part of the Paul strategy.
- 18:38Speaker 1: It's muddying the water, isn't it?
- 18:39Speaker 2: Let's put so much information out there that everyone is
- 18:42Speaker 2: getting confused and it's becoming really petty. And so people
- 18:45Speaker 2: are like, I don't know who to believe, so I'm
- 18:46Speaker 2: just going to turn off.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 2: We're just rounding off these allegations. Addis also accused Michaela
- 18:51Speaker 2: of sharing explicit content of him on her OnlyFans account
- 18:55Speaker 2: without his consent. He went on to say that after
- 18:58Speaker 2: her continual pushing, he began filming content with her and
- 19:01Speaker 2: it's one of his biggest regrets. I found that interesting
- 19:04Speaker 2: that he said this was such a big regret of
- 19:06Speaker 2: his when his sister... is one of the biggest OnlyFans
- 19:09Speaker 2: stars on the platform. Like, it's weird for him to
- 19:11Speaker 2: be like, oh, I'm really ashamed of this and regret
- 19:13Speaker 2: doing it. I also find it disgusting that she's also
- 19:16Speaker 2: found the confidence and bravery to come out and make
- 19:18Speaker 2: these very serious allegations about him, but he's trying to
- 19:21Speaker 2: turn it on her and say.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Oh, well, she did this to me.
- 19:24Speaker 2: She didn't give me consent to be on her platform. Now,
- 19:27Speaker 2: Addis also went on to accuse Michaela of stalking and
- 19:30Speaker 2: harassing him and his family. He claimed that she turned
- 19:33Speaker 2: on his location sharing settings on his phone without his consent.
- 19:37Speaker 2: He says once he turned it off, Michaela started posting
- 19:40Speaker 2: on TikTok offering people $ 30, 000 to anyone who provided his
- 19:44Speaker 2: whereabouts and anyone that he was with. I do remember
- 19:47Speaker 2: covering this on the podcast at the time as well.
- 19:49Speaker 5: Tobacco.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Up his point, he shared a number of TikToks that
- 19:52Speaker 2: Michaela had posted during their breakup where it did look
- 19:57Speaker 2: like she wanted him back and that she'd do anything
- 19:59Speaker 2: to have him.
- 19:59Speaker 1: But those are really the signs of a toxic relationship
- 20:03Speaker 1: and one where there's a power imbalance.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well, a general tact that abusers will use is
- 20:07Speaker 2: to make people think that their victim is crazy. And
- 20:11Speaker 2: Michaela has already previously spoken about how she really amped
- 20:14Speaker 2: up her being upset about the breakup on her TikTok
- 20:17Speaker 2: for views. So we don't know how much of this
- 20:20Speaker 2: behavior was really put on. It also just demonstrates how
- 20:23Speaker 2: much power he still wielded over her, which really demonstrates
- 20:27Speaker 2: an abusive relationship. What did you guys think about his
- 20:30Speaker 2: strategy of putting out this statement? Well, if this was
- 20:33Speaker 2: any other PR crisis management situation, I would agree that
- 20:37Speaker 2: a written statement.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Was the best move forward for Addis.
- 20:40Speaker 2: However, in this TikTok age, I actually think it would
- 20:43Speaker 2: have been better for Addis to read a statement to
- 20:45Speaker 2: the camera, particularly after Anna released her video statement and
- 20:49Speaker 2: confirmed that they weren't taking legal action and instead taking
- 20:53Speaker 2: it to the court of TikTok because people's attention spans
- 20:56Speaker 2: are getting shorter and shorter thanks to TikTok. So a
- 20:58Speaker 2: lot of people couldn't be bothered to read through the
- 21:00Speaker 2: 20 pages of text. Michaela also faced the same challenge
- 21:04Speaker 2: where a lot of people couldn't be bothered to listen
- 21:06Speaker 2: through the two and a half hour podcast. But by
- 21:09Speaker 2: filming the podcast, the most explosive bits can then be
- 21:12Speaker 2: cut up and shared on TikTok and get that reach.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I disagree.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I think it would have been a nightmare to have
- 21:17Speaker 2: him on camera because he comes across as really smarmy,
- 21:20Speaker 2: particularly off the back of those unedited videos we've seen
- 21:24Speaker 2: where he was joking about his former girlfriend. Yeah, but
- 21:27Speaker 2: they didn't have PR help then. I think if he
- 21:28Speaker 2: actually stuck to a script... and was genuinely apologetic. I mean,
- 21:33Speaker 2: the thing is, I don't actually agree with the whole
- 21:34Speaker 2: statement that was put out. I liked the first bit
- 21:36Speaker 2: where he started to take accountability and said, I should
- 21:39Speaker 2: be the one that is blamed. I think that he
- 21:42Speaker 2: went off track when he started showing his own receipts. Yeah,
- 21:45Speaker 2: that's where it got messy. I agree that with Addis,
- 21:47Speaker 2: a written statement was probably the best way forward, but
- 21:49Speaker 2: it was just too many slides, too much information.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It needed to be short and concise.
- 21:53Speaker 2: They were obviously then relying on Anna to come out
- 21:56Speaker 2: with the video, as you said, to provide those TikTok
- 21:58Speaker 2: moments for people to share, because She is much more
- 22:01Speaker 2: like than Addis Paul. Addis getting on camera, not necessarily
- 22:04Speaker 2: going to help the Paul brand. Well, I also think
- 22:06Speaker 2: that a lot of people don't want to see this
- 22:08Speaker 2: alleged abuser be platformed in this way. We don't want
- 22:12Speaker 2: to see his face. We don't want to hear him speaking.
- 22:13Speaker 2: People want him to disappear. And it also seems like
- 22:15Speaker 2: in the last couple of years, he very much has
- 22:17Speaker 2: stood back from wanting to be in the limelight. So
- 22:20Speaker 2: putting out a written response kind of goes with what
- 22:22Speaker 2: he's been doing the last couple of years. I just
- 22:24Speaker 2: think Addis' statement should have been a lot shorter. It
- 22:26Speaker 2: should have taken accountability, apologised, and not shown all these
- 22:30Speaker 2: receipts that Michaela is actually in the wrong. Shortly after Addis' statement,
- 22:35Speaker 2: Anna uploaded a 26-minute response video, which was entitled Enough
- 22:40Speaker 2: is Enough. It was interesting to see how she was
- 22:42Speaker 2: dressed in this video because there was a clear strategy
- 22:45Speaker 2: to paint her in a more conservative light. She was
- 22:47Speaker 2: wearing this white matching knit set. It became more evident
- 22:51Speaker 2: that this was a tactic when we got deeper into
- 22:54Speaker 2: the video because she started downplaying the content that she
- 22:57Speaker 2: shares on OnlyFans while seeming to shame Michaela for her content,
- 23:01Speaker 2: pointing out that Michaela has recently shot videos of her
- 23:05Speaker 2: and her fiance having sex. Even as she said, sexual intercourse,
- 23:09Speaker 2: it was like she was trying to be kid friendly. Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 2: like playing into this character that she puts out on TikTok.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I mean, a lot of people have commented that her
- 23:16Speaker 2: voice is different. She puts on a child voice. And
- 23:19Speaker 2: it looked like the video was shot in an apartment overseas.
- 23:22Speaker 2: There were reports at the time that fans spotted her
- 23:25Speaker 2: at the airport with her mama supposedly fleeing the country,
- 23:27Speaker 2: which is quite funny because Anna is literally always traveling.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Over the weekend, she confirmed she's spending time in London.
- 23:34Speaker 2: A couple of weeks ago, she was in the US.
- 23:36Speaker 2: So this doesn't really seem to be different to her
- 23:38Speaker 2: normal behavior. Now, she began this video by addressing her
- 23:42Speaker 2: role in the leaked YouTube video about Addis' underage ex-girlfriend,
- 23:47Speaker 2: who for the sake of her privacy, we are going
- 23:49Speaker 2: to be calling Jane. To refresh your memory, in that
- 23:52Speaker 2: leaked video, Anna denied that the Pauls sent Jane a
- 23:55Speaker 2: fake legal letter and blamed their non-existent manager for sending it. Now,
- 24:00Speaker 2: in the snippet, she also kept referring to Jane as
- 24:02Speaker 2: a little girl, which was really patronizing. And she admitted
- 24:05Speaker 2: to driving over to her house to confront and intimidate
- 24:09Speaker 2: her when she was only 14 years old. Now, Anna
- 24:12Speaker 2: said that she made a huge mistake by appearing in
- 24:14Speaker 2: this video and said that she had no right to
- 24:17Speaker 2: speak about a relationship she wasn't in as only the
- 24:20Speaker 2: people in that relationship truly know what went on.
- 24:24Speaker 1: And it's for this reason that she said that she.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Wasn't going to be addressing Addis and Michaela's relationship in
- 24:30Speaker 2: her video and would only be talking about herself, which
- 24:33Speaker 2: I think was a bit of a cop-out. It is
- 24:35Speaker 2: a complete cop-out and it's really disappointing that Anna is
- 24:38Speaker 2: not addressing these very serious claims about domestic violence and
- 24:42Speaker 2: sexual assault Yes, it is not her place to defend
- 24:45Speaker 2: her brother, but she needs to actually address the allegations
- 24:48Speaker 2: if she's going to put out a video talking about
- 24:50Speaker 2: this issue. I agree that it's disappointing, but can you
- 24:53Speaker 2: imagine the PR team when they'd worked out that excuse?
- 24:55Speaker 3: Like, we've got it.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Well, I just think it's very convenient, isn't it?
- 24:58Speaker 2: Because these allegations are the driving force behind why Michaela
- 25:02Speaker 2: is speaking out. And I think not touching on these
- 25:05Speaker 2: allegations provides no context at all. Yeah, I mean, it's
- 25:08Speaker 2: pretty obvious that, again, their strategy is let's throw out
- 25:12Speaker 2: a bunch more frivolous allegations that it's going to be
- 25:15Speaker 2: a little bit titillating for TikTok to hear about, but
- 25:18Speaker 2: people are going to forget about those sexual abuse allegations.
- 25:22Speaker 2: And the crazy thing is so many people bought into it.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Like I saw so many TikToks saying, oh, I'm now
- 25:26Speaker 2: team Anna. And I was like, do we see the
- 25:28Speaker 2: same video? Well, I think it's also a cop-out because
- 25:30Speaker 2: if anyone knew what this relationship was really like, it
- 25:33Speaker 2: was Anna Paul. I mean, they live together. They travel together.
- 25:36Speaker 2: They seem to apparently film OnlyFans content together. She would
- 25:40Speaker 2: know more about their dynamic as a couple than anyone else,
- 25:43Speaker 2: making her an acceptable person to comment on it. And
- 25:46Speaker 2: I think Abby Chatfield really hit the nail on the
- 25:48Speaker 2: head when she said that the real reason Anna shouldn't
- 25:51Speaker 2: have been in that video about Jane is because she
- 25:54Speaker 2: was literally discrediting a.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Victim, not because she was talking on behalf of someone
- 25:58Speaker 1: else's relationship.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Yeah, so she's happy to get involved in intimidating an
- 26:02Speaker 2: underage victim, but she doesn't want to now get involved
- 26:05Speaker 2: when there's serious allegations levelled against her brother. Yeah, now
- 26:09Speaker 2: she then went on to confirm that she hasn't taken
- 26:12Speaker 2: any legal action against Michaela, saying when a woman has
- 26:16Speaker 2: a story to tell, she should be able to come online.
- 26:19Speaker 1: And freely tell that story.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Now, she said the reason they haven't lodged a defamation
- 26:23Speaker 2: case against Michaela is because of the cost and the
- 26:26Speaker 2: length of time that it takes for an outcome. She
- 26:29Speaker 2: said if they went down that route, they wouldn't be
- 26:31Speaker 2: able to respond publicly for years, so they wouldn't be
- 26:34Speaker 2: able to come on TikTok.
- 26:35Speaker 1: And show their side of things, which is clearly very
- 26:38Speaker 1: important to them.
- 26:39Speaker 2: I find it absolutely fascinating that the Poles would rather
- 26:41Speaker 2: this play out in the court of TikTok rather than
- 26:44Speaker 2: the Australian legal system. I mean, Anna cited the costs
- 26:47Speaker 2: of the Lisa Wilkinson and Rebel Wilson defamation cases that
- 26:51Speaker 2: were heard recently. And I actually think they're taking inspiration
- 26:55Speaker 2: from the Johnny Depp Amber Heard defamation trial. While there
- 26:58Speaker 2: was an actual trial in the U.S., because of the
- 27:02Speaker 2: way their legal system is and that you can actually
- 27:04Speaker 2: watch the court case on TV, people were clipping up
- 27:08Speaker 2: bits of the court case. And Amber Heard was completely demonized,
- 27:13Speaker 2: even though she was making serious accusations against Johnny Depp.
- 27:16Speaker 2: And I think they've gone, oh, well, we don't have
- 27:18Speaker 2: to pay all this money for lawyers. Let's just air
- 27:21Speaker 2: our own court of TikTok and We'll put out all
- 27:23Speaker 2: of these defences and then she can come back at
- 27:25Speaker 2: us and we'll come back at her and we don't
- 27:27Speaker 2: have to follow any legal rules. Yeah, I think the
- 27:29Speaker 2: reality is there really are no winners in these defamation cases. One,
- 27:33Speaker 2: people lose out so much in legal fees and two,
- 27:37Speaker 2: there's so much dirt which gets spoken in court that
- 27:40Speaker 2: is so damaging and the polls have gone, look, we
- 27:43Speaker 2: don't want to wait years. We don't want this to
- 27:45Speaker 2: continue on because this is going to be so damaging
- 27:47Speaker 2: to our brand. By the time this gets heard in
- 27:49Speaker 2: a court, everyone's going to be over it. The damage
- 27:52Speaker 2: is going to be done for both of them. For
- 27:54Speaker 2: both parties, it's actually better that this does play out
- 27:56Speaker 2: on TikTok.
- 27:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:57Speaker 2: When it comes to defamation, you actually have to prove
- 28:00Speaker 2: how much of your livelihood has been impacted. I mean,
- 28:03Speaker 2: I am assuming that Anna Paul skincare brand Pauly has
- 28:06Speaker 2: taken a massive financial hit. But maybe Addis Poole can't
- 28:10Speaker 2: prove he's been financially impacted by these allegations. I mean,
- 28:12Speaker 2: there's also the truth defense at the end of the
- 28:14Speaker 2: day as well. Maybe they can't defend a lot of
- 28:16Speaker 2: these claims. Now, Anna went on to address the long
- 28:19Speaker 2: list of supposed lies that Michaela aired on her podcast.
- 28:23Speaker 2: So Anna denied that Addis took her OnlyFans content and
- 28:26Speaker 2: she attempted to laugh this off by saying, how gross
- 28:29Speaker 2: it was. And then Michaela was merely playing into the
- 28:32Speaker 2: longstanding online rumors. It was quite funny because she tried
- 28:35Speaker 2: to disprove this allegation by sharing a screenshot from their
- 28:39Speaker 2: group chat, which interestingly was called Rich and Famous, which
- 28:42Speaker 2: shows how they view themselves. Wasn't there another group chat
- 28:45Speaker 2: going around called Millionaires and Billionaires?
- 28:47Speaker 1: I was just embarrassed for them. It was very cringe.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Now, in this screenshot, the two women were discussing Jane's
- 28:53Speaker 2: identical claims that Addis takes Anna's OnlyFans content.
- 28:57Speaker 1: And Anna wrote, She said, Addis takes my OnlyFan pics.
- 29:00Speaker 7: What?
- 29:01Speaker 1: Ha ha ha. She's a nutcase. To which Michaela responded, yuck,
- 29:05Speaker 1: what the fuck? Fucking weird bitch. I want to kill her.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Now, what Anna didn't realize, though, is by sharing this screenshot,
- 29:12Speaker 2: she actually confirmed that Addis has taken her OnlyFans content
- 29:16Speaker 2: in the past. Because if you read the full conversation,
- 29:19Speaker 2: Anna continued saying, I didn't even have OnlyFans when they
- 29:22Speaker 2: were together. The only OnlyFans thing Addis has ever taken
- 29:26Speaker 2: of me was in Bali.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Of both of us. But that was two years ago
- 29:29Speaker 1: and we never said who recorded that. So she's confirmed
- 29:32Speaker 1: there that he did take vision of the two of
- 29:35Speaker 1: them in Bali.
- 29:35Speaker 2: And wasn't that exactly what Michaela had claimed? Well, Anna
- 29:39Speaker 2: also denied. that she keeps buying new dogs. So she
- 29:42Speaker 2: went through a timeline of the dogs that she owned
- 29:44Speaker 2: throughout her childhood. She did conveniently leave out the fact
- 29:48Speaker 2: that Addis had bought a puppy for her called Prince,
- 29:51Speaker 2: who Glenn now takes care of. She also denied abusing
- 29:55Speaker 2: her birds. So she confirmed that she had never clipped
- 29:58Speaker 2: their wings and But she did admit that she was
- 30:00Speaker 2: forced to rehome three of the.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Four birds as they would attack one another.
- 30:05Speaker 2: It's quite awkward because Anna gave her dad the job
- 30:08Speaker 2: of finding buyers for these birds.
- 30:11Speaker 1: And she shared these screenshots showing him wheeling and dealing.
- 30:14Speaker 2: And in the text message exchange, you can see that
- 30:17Speaker 2: substantial money was being negotiated for the birds.
- 30:20Speaker 1: There was upwards of $ 1, 000 being paid.
- 30:23Speaker 2: And Anna was trying to prove that she really cared
- 30:25Speaker 2: about finding them a good home, but it seemed like
- 30:28Speaker 2: they were after.
- 30:29Speaker 1: A good price for the birds.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Yeah, because when she said she rehomed them, I thought, oh,
- 30:33Speaker 2: maybe she sent them off to a wildlife sanctuary to
- 30:36Speaker 2: have a better life because she could no longer take
- 30:38Speaker 2: care of them. But it just seemed like they were
- 30:39Speaker 2: trying to get money out of the situation. To be fair,
- 30:42Speaker 2: I thought the same thing, Kate. But then I realized
- 30:44Speaker 2: sometimes when you are selling a pet, It is better
- 30:46Speaker 2: to put a figure down because some people will just
- 30:49Speaker 2: take anything for free or abuse it or feed it to.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Their pet snake or whatever.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Well, Anna said that Michaela's allegations about her pets was
- 30:56Speaker 2: just one huge projection. And then she dropped this bomb
- 31:00Speaker 2: that Michaela had apparently rehomed her cat, Mikkel.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Here's what she said.
- 31:05Speaker 9: I think that this whole thing, this whole animal thing
- 31:09Speaker 9: is just one huge projection from Michaela. Because the second
- 31:13Speaker 9: her cat was a minor inconvenience to her, she had
- 31:17Speaker 9: her assistant drive her cat to the closest shelter and
- 31:21Speaker 9: dump him.
- 31:22Speaker 7: Where is your cat, Michaela?
- 31:24Speaker 1: Where was he rehomed to?
- 31:25Speaker 9: You don't know because you don't care.
- 31:28Speaker 2: It's terrible because when that photo popped up of Michaela's cat,
- 31:31Speaker 2: I couldn't help but laugh because I just thought this
- 31:34Speaker 2: drama has just gotten so low. You returned your cat.
- 31:40Speaker 8: Well, because she.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Shared a Facebook photo of Mikkel looking kind of sad
- 31:44Speaker 2: at this adoption place. It was a photo saying, can
- 31:48Speaker 2: you adopt Mikkel currently residing at Pet Barn Arndale? Now,
- 31:51Speaker 2: Michaela has since responded to these claims saying that Anna
- 31:54Speaker 2: is trying to deflect And she confirmed she had no
- 31:57Speaker 2: choice but to rehome Mikkel as he was better suited
- 32:00Speaker 2: to a one cat household because he kept attacking her
- 32:03Speaker 2: other cats. Now Anna also touched on the controversy that
- 32:07Speaker 2: erupted last year when Veruca Salt claimed that her dad
- 32:10Speaker 2: Hans Paul was homeless. So Anna confirmed that her dad
- 32:13Speaker 2: does live in a van but claims he's not homeless.
- 32:16Speaker 2: She showed a screenshot of his van life Instagram account
- 32:20Speaker 2: and said that his family used to drive around Europe
- 32:22Speaker 2: in a van and he loves it. She then provided
- 32:24Speaker 2: a screenshot she said took place before the homeless rumor started,
- 32:28Speaker 2: telling her dad if he needs money any amount at
- 32:31Speaker 2: any time, she'll send it. She then showed other screenshots
- 32:34Speaker 2: of her sending her dad almost $ 60, 000 and reiterated that
- 32:38Speaker 2: she funds all of his overseas trips.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I found Anna's rebuttal quite amusing because.
- 32:43Speaker 2: She's like, he's not homeless.
- 32:45Speaker 1: He lives in a van.
- 32:46Speaker 2: What she needed to say was he is homeless by
- 32:49Speaker 2: choice because he really enjoys his van life. Yeah, and
- 32:51Speaker 2: it didn't help when Anna provided the receipts to say
- 32:54Speaker 2: that she'd sent her dad almost $ 60, 000. It's like, well,
- 32:57Speaker 2: then why does he need these handouts if he is
- 33:00Speaker 2: self-sufficient and doesn't need money?
- 33:02Speaker 1: Maruka made a good point because it seems as though, yes,
- 33:05Speaker 1: he is living in.
- 33:06Speaker 2: This van, but Anna has made it sound as though
- 33:08Speaker 2: he's off exploring different parts of Australia. But from all reports,
- 33:12Speaker 2: he is just staying in the pools area. Yeah, there's
- 33:15Speaker 2: been so many recent sightings of him on TikTok because
- 33:18Speaker 2: Anna has spoken about him living in a van. Now
- 33:20Speaker 2: everybody is posting, oh, is this here, dad, down at
- 33:23Speaker 2: the fucking shops? It's also because Michaela has basically said
- 33:26Speaker 2: where he hangs out at this particular.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Bar and has named the bar.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Now Anna went on to deny fat shaming her ex-boyfriend
- 33:31Speaker 2: Glenn and his family. She said that Michaela is attempting
- 33:34Speaker 2: to take away everything she stands for and wants to
- 33:37Speaker 2: destroy her reputation as a body positive influencer. She said
- 33:41Speaker 2: she doesn't use the word fat in a derogatory way
- 33:44Speaker 2: and explained that she and Glenn had been worried about
- 33:46Speaker 2: his father's health for quite some time. Anna also addressed
- 33:50Speaker 2: the close-set eyes controversy. She denied making comments about Sofa
- 33:53Speaker 2: Dofa and Erica Titus, saying Michaela was projecting her own
- 33:57Speaker 2: insecurities about her eyes. Here's part of what she said.
- 34:01Speaker 9: Michaela was the most insecure person that I have ever
- 34:05Speaker 9: met in my life. And I was always there to
- 34:07Speaker 9: support her and make her feel beautiful and make her
- 34:09Speaker 9: feel good. And now she has come out and said
- 34:13Speaker 9: that apparently I have said that everybody's eyes are.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Too close together.
- 34:18Speaker 8: Like I'm there with a tape measure, like, Ooh, your
- 34:21Speaker 8: eyes are too close together. Like I'm a crazy supermodel
- 34:24Speaker 8: with the most perfect, like, It is crazy to me.
- 34:27Speaker 8: And the thing is that Michaela's eyes were often a
- 34:31Speaker 8: topic of discussion for us and she needed constant reassurance
- 34:35Speaker 8: that she was beautiful and that her eyes were beautiful.
- 34:37Speaker 9: And this whole thing is so crazy to me.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Anna then alleged that Michaela had twisted the story, saying
- 34:45Speaker 2: that she was jealous because Addis liked the two girls
- 34:48Speaker 2: in question. She then followed up with what she called
- 34:50Speaker 2: an actual receipt, showing a conversation with with.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Who she referred to as the real Michaela.
- 34:56Speaker 2: For some context, this conversation was about a photo of
- 34:58Speaker 2: influencer Isabel Clark.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Let's throw to what she said.
- 35:03Speaker 9: Without the eyeliner, her eyes are so fucking small on
- 35:06Speaker 9: her face, it does not work.
- 35:08Speaker 10: Now she needed constant reassurance.
- 35:10Speaker 1: For her own beauty, which I always gave her. And
- 35:12Speaker 1: she said, do I look like her without eyeliner?
- 35:14Speaker 9: And I reassured her.
- 35:15Speaker 1: I said, no, not even close.
- 35:16Speaker 9: She said, because whenever I see her without eyeliner, I'm like,
- 35:19Speaker 9: holy fucking shit, please put some eyeliner on.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Then I reassured her again.
- 35:24Speaker 10: And she says, and you know how addicted I am
- 35:26Speaker 10: into eyeliner.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Thank frick.
- 35:27Speaker 8: Yes, I do know.
- 35:28Speaker 10: It was a constant topic of conversation. But again, I
- 35:31Speaker 10: tried to kindly reassure her. And I said, don't even worry.
- 35:34Speaker 10: You basically look the same without eyeliner. So never feel
- 35:37Speaker 10: insecure without it. And she's like, thank you so much.
- 35:39Speaker 6: I love you.
- 35:40Speaker 1: That was a normal conversation for us.
- 35:43Speaker 9: Yet now, apparently I'm out here calling all these influencers
- 35:47Speaker 9: saying they.
- 35:47Speaker 7: All have ugly eyes.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Now, Michaela has since responded, saying that her comments have
- 35:52Speaker 2: been taken out of context by Anna. She again showed
- 35:56Speaker 2: the full conversation, revealing Anna was the one who initially
- 35:59Speaker 2: sent the screenshot of Isabel Clark and wrote, fuck you.
- 36:02Speaker 2: She's suggesting she.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Looks like Bella Hadid.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Addis wrote, fuck that screenshot for fuck's sake, fuck's sake, man.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Michaela wrote back, I feel bad. I guess she's making
- 36:10Speaker 2: do with what she's got. Can't hate on her for that.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Anna then said she probably talked shit about us too
- 36:15Speaker 2: and said her eyes cut off halfway through. That's when
- 36:18Speaker 2: Michaela made her response about the eyeliner and made a typo.
- 36:22Speaker 2: She claimed she was speaking about herself and not Isabel. Now,
- 36:25Speaker 2: as for Jack Cooper, Anna said he was one of
- 36:27Speaker 2: her favorite influences and she loves him dearly. She also
- 36:31Speaker 2: alleged that Michaela was making these claims to take everything
- 36:34Speaker 2: away from her that makes her her. And she tried
- 36:37Speaker 2: to prove the level of friendship that she and Jack
- 36:40Speaker 2: had by showing how many DMs that they'd sent back
- 36:43Speaker 2: and forward over the years. She did blur out his
- 36:46Speaker 2: DMs for privacy, though. However, she did admit to one
- 36:50Speaker 2: instance where she spoke badly of him saying this.
- 36:55Speaker 9: Before I met him, I didn't know his personality. I
- 36:57Speaker 9: didn't know his sense of humor. I knew nothing about him.
- 36:59Speaker 9: And if you know Jack Cooper, you know his humor
- 37:01Speaker 9: is very specific. It's a very special type of humor.
- 37:04Speaker 8: It's very different. And at the time, I didn't know that.
- 37:07Speaker 9: So the one time I said something bad about.
- 37:10Speaker 8: Him, before I knew him, before I met him, this
- 37:12Speaker 8: was a very.
- 37:13Speaker 10: Long time ago, he commented something really, really crazy on
- 37:16Speaker 10: my Instagram photo. And I sent him the group chat and.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Said that he's a clout chaser because I thought he was.
- 37:21Speaker 10: Trying to get attention.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Now, Jack has since responded saying if the 2021 version
- 37:26Speaker 2: of him knew Anna had called him a clout chaser,
- 37:28Speaker 2: Behind his back, he would have literally been bedridden. He
- 37:32Speaker 2: was also at a loss as to what he posted
- 37:34Speaker 2: to elicit the response from her. And he said that
- 37:37Speaker 2: the blurred out DMs were misleading and made it look
- 37:39Speaker 2: like they constantly spoke and were friends. But in reality,
- 37:42Speaker 2: the majority of the messages were just responses to stories. Now,
- 37:45Speaker 2: there were so many allegations for Anna to address that
- 37:48Speaker 2: she did a rapid fire segment. So she denied talking
- 37:51Speaker 2: shit about Michaela in German, claiming she and Addis don't
- 37:54Speaker 2: know how to write in German. She also denied their
- 37:57Speaker 2: house got demolished because it smelt of animal urine, and
- 38:00Speaker 2: she touched on Michaela's claims that she ran an illegal lottery,
- 38:03Speaker 2: saying a quick Google search confirmed it was legal. In
- 38:07Speaker 2: this response video, it was really clear that Anna was
- 38:10Speaker 2: trying to assassinate Michaela's character. I mean, I get that
- 38:13Speaker 2: Michaela is essentially doing the same thing to her in
- 38:15Speaker 2: her podcast series, but it feels really wrong to see
- 38:19Speaker 2: someone doing this to a victim, particularly when your.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Brother is the accused perpetrator.
- 38:24Speaker 8: Mm-hmm.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Anna claimed she wanted to show people how she actually
- 38:27Speaker 2: treated Michaela during their friendship and did so by sharing
- 38:30Speaker 2: screenshots discussing Michaela's alleged schizophrenia. The screenshot showed Anna writing,
- 38:36Speaker 2: does your schizophrenia affect your everyday life significantly? Because if yes,
- 38:40Speaker 2: I wonder if maybe you should.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Get some extra professional help.
- 38:44Speaker 2: She then played a voice note urging Michaela to get
- 38:46Speaker 2: help and saying, don't worry, they're not going to force
- 38:49Speaker 2: pills down your throat. Now, for me, the purpose of
- 38:52Speaker 2: this wasn't to prove how caring she was to Michaela.
- 38:55Speaker 2: It was literally to remind her followers that Michaela has
- 39:00Speaker 2: mental health issues, which she has spoken about in depth herself,
- 39:02Speaker 2: and to try and discredit Michaela's version.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Of events, which I found so disgusting.
- 39:07Speaker 2: I'm surprised there hasn't been more about this online because
- 39:10Speaker 2: I think this was the lowest part of Anna's clapback
- 39:12Speaker 2: video because she really was shaming her and it was
- 39:16Speaker 2: kind of like, as you said, This excuse, look how
- 39:18Speaker 2: lovely I am. No, you're actually trying to put her
- 39:20Speaker 2: on blast and say she has schizophrenia. This actually backed
- 39:23Speaker 2: up a lot of Michaela's claims in her podcast about
- 39:25Speaker 2: how Anna would gaslight her and say that she was
- 39:28Speaker 2: just trying to do something nice, but it was actually
- 39:30Speaker 2: this backhanded thing to Michaela. Yeah, and Anna finished this
- 39:34Speaker 2: video by summing up all the reasons people shouldn't trust Michaela.
- 39:38Speaker 2: It almost felt like she was in this election campaign
- 39:41Speaker 2: video and pointing out all the facts, despite starting the
- 39:44Speaker 2: video by essentially saying it wasn't her place to defend
- 39:47Speaker 2: her brother's actions. She tried to paint Mikaela as a hypocrite,
- 39:51Speaker 2: saying that she dated rapper Kid Laroi.
- 39:53Speaker 1: When he was underage.
- 39:55Speaker 2: She also made some very serious allegations, saying that Mikaela
- 39:59Speaker 2: sent nudes to 14-year-old boys in a group chat when
- 40:02Speaker 2: she was 19. And she then went on to strangely
- 40:05Speaker 2: downplay her own OnlyFans content, saying that she's never shared
- 40:09Speaker 2: a photo of her bare chest on there, whilst Mikaela
- 40:12Speaker 2: shares videos of her having sex with her fiancé.
- 40:15Speaker 1: It was very odd.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I found this part very uncomfortable and quite troubling
- 40:19Speaker 2: considering that Michaela has come out and said that she's
- 40:22Speaker 2: a victim of domestic violence and sexual assault. But then
- 40:26Speaker 2: Anna tries to turn the script and say that Michaela
- 40:29Speaker 2: is actually a perpetrator of this type of behavior. Now,
- 40:32Speaker 2: Michaela confirmed that when she first met Kid Leroy, he
- 40:34Speaker 2: told her he was older and was attending an 18
- 40:37Speaker 2: plus venue with his older group of friends. She said
- 40:40Speaker 2: that she didn't have a relationship with him until a
- 40:43Speaker 2: year and a half after they met when he was
- 40:45Speaker 2: at consenting age. She also said the screenshots of the
- 40:48Speaker 2: supposed chat Anna shared was taken out of context. She
- 40:52Speaker 2: said that the photo Anna blurred out was not a
- 40:54Speaker 2: nude and was actually a photo of her in Addis' t-shirt.
- 40:58Speaker 2: She said it was a group chat with a bunch
- 40:59Speaker 2: of her friends and two boys who said they were
- 41:02Speaker 2: over 18. Now to end the video, Anna left viewers
- 41:05Speaker 2: with a final receipt.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Here's what she said.
- 41:07Speaker 9: So I'm going to leave you with one final receipt.
- 41:12Speaker 9: This receipt is the real Michaela. This is how she
- 41:16Speaker 9: is behind closed doors. This isn't the Michaela that's manipulating
- 41:19Speaker 9: the internet. This is a Michaela that.
- 41:21Speaker 3: You don't know.
- 41:22Speaker 9: This is the real reason that she started all of this.
- 41:28Speaker 5: My goal is to make sure she doesn't fucking post
- 41:32Speaker 5: a thing. Because remember how I told you she would
- 41:34Speaker 5: always copy me, she would always steal my stories, steal
- 41:38Speaker 5: my personality, everything, the car idea, all of that.
- 41:41Speaker 4: She stole it from me.
- 41:43Speaker 5: I'm supposed to be the one with 7 million followers.
- 41:46Speaker 5: I'm going to be vlogging after this and everyone's going
- 41:48Speaker 5: to need someone to watch because everyone's.
- 41:50Speaker 7: Addicted to watching her, that they're going to watch me.
- 41:53Speaker 7: And I'm going to live that life that I should
- 41:55Speaker 7: have had. And this doesn't come from jealousy. This just
- 41:57Speaker 7: comes from a siphoning energy, bitch.
- 42:02Speaker 2: I think Anna thought that she had a real checkmate
- 42:04Speaker 2: there with this receipt. But if anything, I think it
- 42:07Speaker 2: actually made people like Michaela more because it's never been
- 42:10Speaker 2: a secret that she's been trying to bring Anna Paul down. Yeah.
- 42:13Speaker 2: I mean, that was the whole point of this podcast.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Like she said, I'm not the perfect victim. Anna Paul
- 42:18Speaker 2: should not be platformed the way she is. She has
- 42:20Speaker 2: actually stolen my upbringing story. And essentially it's not a
- 42:24Speaker 2: surprise that Michaela would say behind the scenes, I deserve
- 42:27Speaker 2: that following because she's taken my life story and presented
- 42:30Speaker 2: it as her own.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I saw so many.
- 42:31Speaker 2: People on TikTok saying that that audio grab was worthy
- 42:35Speaker 2: of being in a movie trailer.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I loved it. Like it actually just made me like
- 42:39Speaker 1: her more.
- 42:40Speaker 2: And what I also really liked is that Michaela was
- 42:43Speaker 2: able to jump on her TikTok instantly after Anna uploaded
- 42:46Speaker 2: her response video. I mean, we saw Anna take two
- 42:49Speaker 2: weeks to come up with a reply, but Michaela was
- 42:52Speaker 2: right on it. And she said that the difference between
- 42:54Speaker 2: her and Anna Paul is that she doesn't get on
- 42:57Speaker 2: TikTok and preach that she's perfect. Let's throw to some
- 43:00Speaker 2: of what she said.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Anna Paul is doing to me exactly what she did
- 43:04Speaker 3: to his ex-girlfriend. Trying to paint them as some sort
- 43:06Speaker 3: of crazy liar. The voice message at the end of
- 43:09Speaker 3: Anna Paul's video is facts. I'll post that to my
- 43:11Speaker 3: own account. I'll say that with my full chest. You
- 43:14Speaker 3: stole everything about me. All of my ideas.
- 43:17Speaker 8: Everything.
- 43:17Speaker 1: You stole it all. Even the goddamn story about your upbringing.
- 43:21Speaker 3: The homeless shelters needing food about babes.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Ha ha ha is all I have to fucking say
- 43:25Speaker 1: about that.
- 43:27Speaker 2: She continued saying, of course, she doesn't want to see
- 43:29Speaker 2: her post again or plaster her brother up as though
- 43:32Speaker 2: he's this nice guy. I was shocked, though, that a
- 43:35Speaker 2: lot of people were buying into Anna Paul's commentary. There
- 43:40Speaker 2: were people saying, oh, Anna's come with the real receipts
- 43:43Speaker 2: and I think we all owe Anna an apology. Surely
- 43:45Speaker 2: these people are diehard fans because you can't sit and
- 43:48Speaker 2: watch all of Michaela's allegations and then all of the
- 43:52Speaker 2: other people that have come out of the woodwork, Veruca Salt,
- 43:54Speaker 2: Anna's own half-sister, Addis' two ex-girlfriends now and go, oh.
- 44:00Speaker 2: I think there were people who wanted to believe Anna,
- 44:02Speaker 2: people who have followed her for.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Such a long time.
- 44:05Speaker 2: And they thought, oh, maybe some of these things have
- 44:07Speaker 2: been blown out of proportion. Well, particularly because she left
- 44:09Speaker 2: out all of the terrible accusations leveled at us. I
- 44:12Speaker 2: think that that really made it seem like this trivial
- 44:16Speaker 2: thing when you don't include allegations about sexual assault and
- 44:19Speaker 2: domestic violence. But I think as soon as Michaela and
- 44:22Speaker 2: Veruca hit back that night refuting the claims, the tide
- 44:26Speaker 2: really swung back in Michaela's direction.
- 44:28Speaker 1: It's quite interesting to look at the stats because.
- 44:30Speaker 2: On the day that Anna released her response video, she
- 44:33Speaker 2: did actually gain a hundred thousand followers, but the next
- 44:36Speaker 2: day she lost a further a hundred thousand.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Over the past 30 days, she has lost 500,000 followers.
- 44:42Speaker 2: So it'll be interesting to see what happens over the
- 44:45Speaker 2: next couple of months and how she chooses to post
- 44:47Speaker 2: going forward. It's really disturbing because all over TikTok, I'm
- 44:51Speaker 2: seeing people being asked.
- 44:53Speaker 1: To take a side.
- 44:54Speaker 2: So there's businesses who are putting out jars saying, vote
- 44:57Speaker 2: if you're team Michaela or team Anna.
- 44:59Speaker 1: And it's really trivialising what has actually gone on.
- 45:03Speaker 2: And I think that with Anna choosing to go tit
- 45:05Speaker 2: for tat on a lot of petty issues and refusing
- 45:08Speaker 2: to acknowledge the allegations about her brother, all it's doing
- 45:11Speaker 2: is pitting these two women against each other and turning
- 45:15Speaker 2: this into a stereotypical cat fight. When in reality, Michaela
- 45:20Speaker 2: and a number of Addis' former partners are raising the
- 45:23Speaker 2: alarm about this man's behaviour. And on that topic, on Wednesday,
- 45:27Speaker 2: just before 6pm Australian time and before Anna and Addis
- 45:30Speaker 2: put their statements out, the Telegraph ran with the exclusive
- 45:33Speaker 2: story that Addis Paul was sentenced for statutory rape. The
- 45:37Speaker 2: publication reported that according to court documents, Addis pled guilty
- 45:40Speaker 2: to three charges of carnal knowledge of a girl aged
- 45:43Speaker 2: 12 to 16 and which relate to a series of
- 45:46Speaker 2: incidents between December 2017 and October 2018. Addis was aged
- 45:51Speaker 2: between 16 and 17 at the time of the offending.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Michaela was not the complainant in the case. Now, carnal
- 45:58Speaker 2: knowledge refers to engaging in sexual intercourse with a person
- 46:02Speaker 2: under the age of consent. In Queensland, the age of
- 46:05Speaker 2: consent is 16 and cannot be given by individuals under
- 46:09Speaker 2: age as they are deemed incapable of making informed decisions
- 46:12Speaker 2: about such matters. Now, despite being under 18 at the
- 46:16Speaker 2: time of the offence, Addis was dealt with as an
- 46:18Speaker 2: adult because the criminal proceedings commenced in 2022 when he
- 46:22Speaker 2: was 21. He was sentenced at Southport District Court in 2023.
- 46:27Speaker 2: And despite pleading guilty, no convictions were recorded. Instead, Addis
- 46:31Speaker 2: was issued a $ 1, 500 recognizance given a 12-month good behavior
- 46:35Speaker 2: bond and ordered to pay $ 1, 500 in compensation. What I
- 46:40Speaker 2: find really interesting about this news is the fact that
- 46:43Speaker 2: there have been so many people online, including Michaela, saying
- 46:46Speaker 2: he is a convicted rapist. But what this has pointed
- 46:49Speaker 2: out is he actually wasn't convicted. And I've seen a
- 46:52Speaker 2: lot of people on TikTok, even Abby Chatfield running with
- 46:54Speaker 2: it saying, oh, he's a convicted this and that. People
- 46:56Speaker 2: need to be really careful because this is where you
- 46:59Speaker 2: can find yourself in trouble. Yeah, I mean, even though
- 47:01Speaker 2: the Pauls have said that they aren't going to be
- 47:03Speaker 2: following this up legally, I do think people need to
- 47:05Speaker 2: be very careful moving forward, the language that they use. Yes,
- 47:09Speaker 2: he did plead guilty to three charges of carnal knowledge
- 47:13Speaker 2: and he was sentenced for statutory rape, but there wasn't
- 47:16Speaker 2: a conviction actually recorded, presumably because he was under the
- 47:19Speaker 2: age of 18 at the time.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Away from the.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Language, this article has been extremely damaging for the Paul
- 47:25Speaker 2: family and We've seen a lot of media run with
- 47:28Speaker 2: these allegations now. Obviously, it was the Telegraph that picked
- 47:31Speaker 2: up on this first. They did a great job of
- 47:33Speaker 2: sourcing these court documents and breaking this story.
- 47:35Speaker 1: I mean, we were calling out for media, please.
- 47:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Find these documents.
- 47:38Speaker 2: I mean, we had viewed them ourselves, but there are
- 47:41Speaker 2: legalities around reporting on these type of documents. You have
- 47:44Speaker 2: to be very careful with what you say. It would
- 47:46Speaker 2: be a huge relief for Michaela and also the other
- 47:49Speaker 2: alleged victims to.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Actually have this in print.
- 47:53Speaker 2: And to feel like there is a publication who's taking
- 47:55Speaker 2: it seriously and has done the due diligence to actually
- 47:58Speaker 2: look into it.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Now, over the weekend, it was interesting because a member.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Of the public actually captured footage of Addis in the wild.
- 48:06Speaker 2: So in the phone vision, he appeared to be standing
- 48:09Speaker 2: at an alternative medicine counter at Surfers Paradise with what
- 48:13Speaker 2: people are thinking is his new girlfriend. It's interesting he's
- 48:16Speaker 2: not travelling with Anna because Anna's in London at the moment. Well,
- 48:18Speaker 2: I don't think she'd want to be seen with him.
- 48:20Speaker 2: The girl in the vision did look very young and
- 48:23Speaker 2: people who went to school with the girl have written
- 48:26Speaker 2: into these gossip forums saying that she's around 20 years
- 48:29Speaker 2: of age. Now, Michaela re-shared the video and wrote, this
- 48:33Speaker 2: man is known to prey on women on dating apps,
- 48:36Speaker 2: uses his sister's fame to impress them and makes them
- 48:39Speaker 2: sign NDAs. She also made some other claims that for
- 48:42Speaker 2: legal reasons we will not go into. But it was
- 48:45Speaker 2: very interesting to see this footage pop up over the weekend.
- 48:49Speaker 2: It didn't paint him in a great light. Now, I
- 48:51Speaker 2: was actually really relieved on Saturday when Michaela announced that
- 48:55Speaker 2: she would be postponing the release of episode three of
- 48:58Speaker 2: her podcast.
- 48:59Speaker 1: She said that things need to be moved around and added.
- 49:02Speaker 2: She also put a call out on her Instagram story
- 49:04Speaker 2: for anyone that can interpret German. And she also said
- 49:08Speaker 2: that she'd been getting requests to platform other victims of
- 49:11Speaker 2: the Paul family. So I think episode three may potentially
- 49:15Speaker 2: be five hours long. It seems like it's even more
- 49:17Speaker 2: so game on now that Addis and Anna have said
- 49:20Speaker 2: that they won't be taking legal action over this. It's
- 49:22Speaker 2: like they're waving a red flag to a bull. Well,
- 49:25Speaker 2: that is where we're going to leave things today. Thank
- 49:27Speaker 2: you for listening to another episode of Outspoken. If you
- 49:30Speaker 2: do enjoy the show, please leave us a review. This
- 49:33Speaker 2: podcast was recorded on the traditional land of the Kaurna
