- 0:18Speaker 2: Here on I do part two, the podcast that's a
- 0:20Speaker 2: unique social experiment in love, dating and relationships with people
- 0:25Speaker 2: that are open to finding love the second time around.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Today I'm joined by someone who's one of a kind.
- 0:31Speaker 2: She's loved and just like the rest of us. My
- 0:33Speaker 2: former co starred Real Housewives of New York and Ultimate
- 0:37Speaker 2: Girl Strip. She's on tour with her cabaret my true friend,
- 0:42Speaker 2: the Countess herself low Adela SEPs.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Hello, Luenn, I love you, Love New York. How are
- 0:51Speaker 1: you look? Gorgeous?
- 0:52Speaker 3: Per usual? Good morning darling. How are you So?
- 0:55Speaker 2: This podcast is all about people that are just like us,
- 0:58Speaker 2: people that got married and maybe single parents. But the
- 1:02Speaker 2: one thing we haven't given up on is finding love.
- 1:06Speaker 2: So for those who don't know, tell the listeners Leanne
- 1:08Speaker 2: a little bit about your love journey.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Well, first husband, you know was the count that you know.
- 1:17Speaker 3: We met and he asked me to marry him five
- 1:19Speaker 3: days later, but I made him wait and we got
- 1:22Speaker 3: married two weeks later, and now it's two kids later.
- 1:27Speaker 3: So yeah, I mean it was a coupdufoo we say
- 1:29Speaker 3: in French, which is the first sight as you know, Kelly,
- 1:32Speaker 3: because you speak a little French, and so you know,
- 1:36Speaker 3: it was just magic. When the magic happens, it happens.
- 1:38Speaker 3: And you you know, when that train pulls up to
- 1:41Speaker 3: the station, don't have fear, right jump on the train
- 1:44Speaker 3: because you can always go home, right, And so you
- 1:46Speaker 3: know I did. I jumped from my career in Italian television.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I was working in Italy at the time. I was
- 1:51Speaker 3: living in Milan, and I said, you know what, this
- 1:53Speaker 3: is the love of my life. It's time to go.
- 1:55Speaker 3: And so I left my career and moved to Switzerland
- 1:59Speaker 3: with him and had my two kids, who you know,
- 2:02Speaker 3: Victoria Nowell. I was married for sixteen years and then
- 2:06Speaker 3: seven years later I would make the second husband. And
- 2:11Speaker 3: you know I work in seven year cycles. It's interesting
- 2:13Speaker 3: because it is now. So I married in twenty sixteen,
- 2:18Speaker 3: then I divorced in twenty seventeen. That was the quickie
- 2:21Speaker 3: and now where are we We are in twenty twenty four,
- 2:25Speaker 3: seven years later. I manifested that this is my year
- 2:28Speaker 3: of love and it's just part of you know, the
- 2:31Speaker 3: rhythm of life. I think there's a rhythm and a flow,
- 2:33Speaker 3: and so that is my flow and in twenty twenty four,
- 2:36Speaker 3: I've actually, you know, met a couple of guys that
- 2:39Speaker 3: I really like. So so twenty twenty four is my
- 2:44Speaker 3: year of love. And to prove it, I even got
- 2:47Speaker 3: cast on a show called The Love Hotel. And I
- 2:51Speaker 3: can't tell you how that ends because I can't give
- 2:52Speaker 3: away too much on that show, but it's going to
- 2:55Speaker 3: er in twenty twenty five, and I do find some
- 2:59Speaker 3: magic over at the Love which is kind of crazy.
- 3:01Speaker 2: So how do you feel we're both single? How do
- 3:03Speaker 2: you how are you feeling about sin being single?
- 3:05Speaker 1: Right now? I mean, do you like dat fucking dating?
- 3:08Speaker 3: And I say this, I ran into Scott yesterday on
- 3:11Speaker 3: the street. No, I didn't really recognize it. I was like,
- 3:16Speaker 3: I know him, but I don't. I'm not sure, but
- 3:18Speaker 3: he's like hi, and I game an air kiss and
- 3:22Speaker 3: said hello and then kept walking. But how funny, right anyway,
- 3:26Speaker 3: So back to what we're talking about.
- 3:28Speaker 2: What was the question You're like, anyway, just ran into
- 3:31Speaker 2: your eggs, No, that we're both single. We bar are
- 3:34Speaker 2: both the single now, and I was just was wondering, like,
- 3:36Speaker 2: how are you feeling about sib being single?
- 3:38Speaker 1: Man?
- 3:38Speaker 2: You said about the flow in the seven years, But like,
- 3:41Speaker 2: are you liking being single or are you really are
- 3:43Speaker 2: you ready to get married again?
- 3:44Speaker 1: Like how are you feeling?
- 3:46Speaker 3: You know, at this point, I'm living my best life
- 3:49Speaker 3: in my fifties. I have to say it's the best decade.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I mean, I love my twenties and my thirties. Forties
- 3:55Speaker 3: and fifties has really been the best decade for me.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I'm just living my best life. I love my career
- 4:01Speaker 3: in Cabaret. I you know, I loved you know, still
- 4:03Speaker 3: working for the network for Bravo, and you know, and
- 4:09Speaker 3: I love dating. I mean, I'm having a great time.
- 4:12Speaker 3: But I actually, you know, did meet somebody and and
- 4:15Speaker 3: so you know, we'll see what happens. But for the moment,
- 4:19Speaker 3: I'm kind of taken. I gotta say.
- 4:20Speaker 2: So, I was going to ask you how many guys
- 4:22Speaker 2: you are dating, But now you're saying you're kind of taken.
- 4:24Speaker 1: That's amazing, you know.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I mean, I'm struggling between a couple couple actually so,
- 4:31Speaker 3: but but I feel like I finally found what I'm
- 4:34Speaker 3: looking for.
- 4:35Speaker 2: So did you when you were dating, did you have
- 4:36Speaker 2: like more loca would like dating apps or is it
- 4:39Speaker 2: just organic? I mean, you're you are a very uh
- 4:42Speaker 2: sensual woman, and I'm so I'm sure it's like.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Very easy for you to pick up as I've seen
- 4:48Speaker 1: in real life.
- 4:50Speaker 2: You know.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I was on the dating apps during COVID, I have
- 4:52Speaker 3: to say, and that's where I found Garth, Remember Garth on.
- 4:55Speaker 2: The last Yeah, right.
- 4:57Speaker 3: So I was on the apps and then I got
- 4:59Speaker 3: off because just you know, I like to meet people
- 5:01Speaker 3: in person. I prefer, you know, to have that personal experience.
- 5:05Speaker 3: And so yeah, so I'm you know, I find guys,
- 5:08Speaker 3: you know, everywhere. You can find a guy walking down
- 5:10Speaker 3: the streets, you know, And people always ask me about
- 5:13Speaker 3: my dating tips, et cetera. But I feel like timing
- 5:18Speaker 3: is everything. And you know, I was tarting to this
- 5:21Speaker 3: to make up ours yesterday and she was saying, you
- 5:24Speaker 3: know that she's always falling into the wrong guys, right,
- 5:28Speaker 3: that she caught cheating on her, et cetera. I said,
- 5:31Speaker 3: you know what, why don't you just be alone and
- 5:33Speaker 3: love on yourself? Because I feel like a lot of
- 5:36Speaker 3: women aren't loving on themselves. There is certain they're in
- 5:39Speaker 3: a kind of a desperate search to find a guide
- 5:42Speaker 3: to complete them you know, And I think the real
- 5:44Speaker 3: magic is to be complete yourself, be complete and loving yourself,
- 5:49Speaker 3: being happy with yourself, and that kind of energy is
- 5:52Speaker 3: what draws around that positive energy because you think more
- 5:57Speaker 3: with your heart than you do with like, oh, you
- 5:59Speaker 3: need to find a guy. He needs to be this,
- 6:00Speaker 3: he needs to be that, he needs to be the
- 6:01Speaker 3: other thing. So you know I said this all the time,
- 6:04Speaker 3: you know, you know, put down, put down, the keep down,
- 6:09Speaker 3: the you know, the energy which is like you're looking
- 6:13Speaker 3: for the right man. And she said to me, you
- 6:15Speaker 3: know this makeup board is I you know, I'm looking
- 6:17Speaker 3: for a guy, and you know this guy a chieved
- 6:20Speaker 3: on me exactly. I said, you know what, why don't
- 6:21Speaker 3: you just take care of yourself? Why don't you just
- 6:23Speaker 3: enjoy and pamper yourself and love yourself? And before you
- 6:26Speaker 3: know it, you're going to turn around and the guy's
- 6:28Speaker 3: going to be standing there because you have to put
- 6:31Speaker 3: yourself in the right place. You know, timing is one thing,
- 6:34Speaker 3: but you have to be in the right place for
- 6:36Speaker 3: that timing, and you can only be there if you're
- 6:39Speaker 3: living in love of your of self first. That's how
- 6:43Speaker 3: I feel about it.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Speaking of timing, let's talk you Grant. So let's set
- 6:49Speaker 2: this up right here in the Hamptons. And you find
- 6:54Speaker 2: out that Hugh Grant is at Pierre's, which is in Bridgehampton,
- 6:57Speaker 2: a restaurant in Bridgehampton, which is such a beautiful restaurant,
- 7:00Speaker 2: and you call Pierra and you say, Pierre, is there
- 7:03Speaker 2: a table next to you Grant.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Because I'm going to be sitting there. And you show
- 7:07Speaker 1: up and you sit next to him.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I said, behind him, And then you know, I push
- 7:13Speaker 3: up my chair, I push out my chair and bump
- 7:16Speaker 3: his chair. I bump his chair, and I turn around
- 7:20Speaker 3: and go, oh, I'm so sorry. Oh, let me buy
- 7:23Speaker 3: you a drink. And that's how the conversation starts. And
- 7:25Speaker 3: he knows who I am, because he's a friend of Andy's, right.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I don't know if he knows who I am or not.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I don't really care. He's a man and I'm a woman,
- 7:32Speaker 3: and I'm going to let him know that I'm interested.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And so that's how I.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Started bought him a drink.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Well, first of all, I asked him if he wanted
- 7:40Speaker 3: a drink, and he said, I'll take a shot at tequila,
- 7:43Speaker 3: and he goes, but I'm going to join you your chair.
- 7:46Speaker 3: So he came to sit with me and my brother
- 7:48Speaker 3: was there, my sister in law Paul, and my sitting
- 7:51Speaker 3: there right and before you know it, you know, he's
- 7:53Speaker 3: like sitting at the table doing shots, talking lah blah,
- 7:56Speaker 3: and then we start kissing. And was like, I can't
- 8:00Speaker 3: believe you're making out with you Grant, I said me neither.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Wait hold on, So now we have t back.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I mean, I love first of all, I love his
- 8:06Speaker 2: whole Hugh grand story that and all that, But I
- 8:09Speaker 2: have to ask you one question about offering a guy
- 8:12Speaker 2: a drink? So what do you think about it? I've
- 8:13Speaker 2: never offered a guy a drink, but do you think
- 8:15Speaker 2: maybe why not? And I should be like why not?
- 8:19Speaker 3: Why? Why can a man offer a woman a drink
- 8:21Speaker 3: and a woman can offer a man a drink? Right?
- 8:33Speaker 1: Okay, so that's back to Hugh Grant.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So your guys are having shots, then you're kissing in
- 8:39Speaker 2: front of your brother.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I brought it up to the other day because it
- 8:42Speaker 3: went it's the news has been spread around recently, and
- 8:45Speaker 3: you know, and I love Hugh Grant's reply. Didn't you
- 8:47Speaker 3: love his reply?
- 8:49Speaker 1: He's so elegant, Well, he.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Said, you know, he said, apparently my memory is not
- 8:55Speaker 3: as good as the countesses.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Which I love. He didn't deny it.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I thought that was so she No, he did not
- 9:01Speaker 3: deny it because it's true. So so on.
- 9:06Speaker 1: A scale to one to ten, how how good of
- 9:09Speaker 1: a kisser is?
- 9:10Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm sure you know how long ago
- 9:12Speaker 3: this is?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Is like, come on, let's.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah, fifteen years ago. So I mean he was really hot. Yeah,
- 9:20Speaker 3: he's a good kisser. Went to ten, he was at ten.
- 9:23Speaker 3: I love that.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I love that you gets a ten.
- 9:26Speaker 2: You know, it's so funny because remember when a Rod
- 9:28Speaker 2: was texting me, like literally sent me thousands and thousands
- 9:31Speaker 2: of texts.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You know, I love how q Grant is like maybe
- 9:34Speaker 1: I did.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Maybe you know her memory is better than mine, which
- 9:37Speaker 2: is such an elegant response.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Like a Rod like literally twice he met.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Me in an art Basle was literally like pulling me
- 9:45Speaker 2: around art Basle. And then later he knew he like
- 9:49Speaker 2: knew I was single through a friend of our, a
- 9:50Speaker 2: mutual friend of ours, and starts texting me, I mean
- 9:53Speaker 2: thousands and thousands of texts like things like do you
- 9:56Speaker 2: like me?
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't even know you.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Well, maybe you should have shared the t sterling so
- 10:00Speaker 3: you could have I don't like that. I mean, if
- 10:02Speaker 3: something happens, a guy should take responsibility for that. You know,
- 10:07Speaker 3: he should have said, you know, yeah it's true and
- 10:09Speaker 3: Kelly's gorgeous, and who wouldn't want to take Kelly? You know?
- 10:12Speaker 3: Instead he denied it, which is it says a lot
- 10:15Speaker 3: about his character and who he is.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Well, I think he just is like he's like a
- 10:18Speaker 2: mad texter and all he wants to do is just
- 10:20Speaker 2: text women, like and just so he's like instead of
- 10:22Speaker 2: being like you know, I mean, he's he has a
- 10:24Speaker 2: great business, he's a he's a smart guy. But I
- 10:27Speaker 2: think like he gets like sidetracked, and it's like that's
- 10:30Speaker 2: just a gen for me. I've noticed that, like guys
- 10:33Speaker 2: who are mad textures not just like hey, how's your day?
- 10:37Speaker 1: Thinking of you?
- 10:39Speaker 2: I feel like when they're texting a lot of people,
- 10:40Speaker 2: it's just like they're just super insecure and like you
- 10:43Speaker 2: don't need that serotonin uptake because all day, you know,
- 10:47Speaker 2: you can get it from other things.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Well I know, but guys, do you know, they're just
- 10:52Speaker 3: you know, especially a guy like a Rod, he's like
- 10:53Speaker 3: a peacock, right, so he needs to show his feathers,
- 10:56Speaker 3: you know, and they and you know, and they it
- 10:59Speaker 3: gives them excite and it makes their heart beat. I mean,
- 11:01Speaker 3: I'm not mad at that. I'm mad at the fact
- 11:03Speaker 3: that he didn't admit it. You know me too.
- 11:06Speaker 2: But he's also not a deal closer. He just likes
- 11:08Speaker 2: to like have a lot of friends out about.
- 11:11Speaker 3: It's what they call the player. And guess what isn't
- 11:14Speaker 3: he He's a baseball player, right, I don't know. I
- 11:20Speaker 3: can't keep my athletes straight, Darling, can't keep my athletes straight.
- 11:23Speaker 3: You can keep your actors straight, but not your athletes.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Actors straight, but the athletes, I have no idea. I mean,
- 11:30Speaker 3: you took me to my first Knicks game, Gods, Sicker Rangers?
- 11:34Speaker 3: Finally the way, which one did you like better?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Did you like the next of the Rangers game?
- 11:39Speaker 3: You know, they're so different, but it was, I mean
- 11:42Speaker 3: something else. Being on the floor of the next game
- 11:43Speaker 3: where the basketballs, you know, it was almost in our face,
- 11:46Speaker 3: and the sneakers were skicking towards us. I was like, ah,
- 11:49Speaker 3: we're gonna get hurt.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Here, and You're like, oh my god, I love his legs.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I was checking out all the guy's legs
- 11:55Speaker 3: and their bodies and what you know, in the moves
- 11:58Speaker 3: of the next I mean, they just have a low
- 12:00Speaker 3: which is unbeatable. Those guys. I mean they work so
- 12:03Speaker 3: well together as a team. It was so great to
- 12:06Speaker 3: watch that because you know, I love sports.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I'm a jock.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I love sports. You know, I grew up playing sports,
- 12:11Speaker 3: So you know, I love the boys that likes to
- 12:13Speaker 3: play sports.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Did you play basketball too? But play basketball?
- 12:17Speaker 3: I was on the basketball team at the high school.
- 12:19Speaker 1: So I have athletic tendencies.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I mean I like to ride horse and stuff like that,
- 12:23Speaker 2: but I wouldn't say that I'm necessarily a jock. So
- 12:25Speaker 2: I think it's very funny that, Like, I mean, I
- 12:27Speaker 2: love going with you because you definitely you are a
- 12:29Speaker 2: real jock.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I am not.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Yeah, no, totally. So you know, I grew up with
- 12:32Speaker 3: four older brothers, so they told me how to do everything.
- 12:35Speaker 3: You know, I got hit in the face of baseball's.
- 12:38Speaker 3: You know, we had our own volleyball games. We were
- 12:40Speaker 3: seven kids. You know, we had our own team of everything.
- 12:42Speaker 3: We played flag football, we played you know, I know,
- 12:48Speaker 3: ride snowmobiles and motorcycles. I mean, they told me how
- 12:50Speaker 3: to do everything.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I love that.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Do you think that like that, going to the Knicks
- 12:54Speaker 2: or to the Rangers where there's a lot of men,
- 12:55Speaker 2: do you think that's a good place to find guys or.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Darling, I can't think the better place to find men
- 13:00Speaker 3: then then a next game or or or the Rangers.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Everybody loves seeing you.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Everyone loved They were like literally going crazy seeing you there.
- 13:10Speaker 3: They're going crazy for you. And we're a good wing man,
- 13:16Speaker 3: we are.
- 13:16Speaker 1: But I think it's also when they see us together.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I think people think that, like you know, most people
- 13:20Speaker 2: are like, oh, they just are on its show and
- 13:22Speaker 2: they don't they don't see people together.
- 13:24Speaker 1: So when they see people together, they get really excited. Okay,
- 13:26Speaker 1: so your bold flirting move, let's get started. Tell me,
- 13:30Speaker 1: tell me what to do, teach me, guide me.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Well, besides backing your chair up to a guy in
- 13:36Speaker 3: a restaurant, I mean, you could always let your napkin
- 13:39Speaker 3: on fire, you know. I think when you make eyes
- 13:41Speaker 3: at someone you know, and you and you luck eyes
- 13:44Speaker 3: with someone, I think that that's important. I think, for example, okay,
- 13:49Speaker 3: you're out with your girlfriends for drinks, all right, and
- 13:52Speaker 3: there's a guy at the bar that's eyeing you, right,
- 13:55Speaker 3: so you kind of connected that way. But you know
- 13:58Speaker 3: the guy is not going to walk up to a
- 14:00Speaker 3: gaggle of girls, right, maybe a little insecure about that.
- 14:04Speaker 3: And a woman is not going to walk up to
- 14:05Speaker 3: the bar, right, So what do we do? We use
- 14:08Speaker 3: our waiters to write a note. So the way, so
- 14:12Speaker 3: you write a note. Nobody writes notes anymore. Right, write
- 14:15Speaker 3: a note, give to the waiter saying please join us
- 14:21Speaker 3: for a drink, and you invite him. So women have
- 14:23Speaker 3: to invite men. It's really up to women to make
- 14:26Speaker 3: the first move. So when you asked me about the shot, sure,
- 14:29Speaker 3: why not by a man of shot? And you know
- 14:31Speaker 3: in this instance, you know the guy is going to
- 14:33Speaker 3: be like, oh, now I have an invitation to the table,
- 14:36Speaker 3: right since over son, he's going to come over and say,
- 14:39Speaker 3: look if you know, because you can tell by the
- 14:41Speaker 3: way somebody looks to you if they like you're not right?
- 14:44Speaker 1: So what do you say in them?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Am?
- 14:45Speaker 3: So write a love note?
- 14:47Speaker 1: I'm saying, what do you say, like I love you?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Come over? Like? What do you say like?
- 14:50Speaker 3: Oh, you say, please join us for a drink? Very simple,
- 14:55Speaker 3: all right? And then the waiter will say over there, and.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I'm just gonna have both printed out and instead of
- 14:59Speaker 2: life is cars, I'm just gonna give those.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah, please join me for a drink with oh and
- 15:06Speaker 3: put you know not yeah, maybe it's too much, but
- 15:09Speaker 3: thinking a little lipstick on there, but that you should do.
- 15:12Speaker 3: You know, when you already have a guy who want
- 15:13Speaker 3: to keep a man, leave a love note on the
- 15:15Speaker 3: mirror and red lipstick I love you or whatever it is,
- 15:20Speaker 3: you know, leave a note to me. In the morning,
- 15:21Speaker 3: he goes to brush his teeth and he sees his
- 15:24Speaker 3: lipstick in his mirror. I mean, how great is that?
- 15:27Speaker 3: I did that once to a guy was dating who
- 15:28Speaker 3: was actually a Mexican footballer. I don't know if you
- 15:31Speaker 3: remember him Rom He was so hot for Mexico. Yeah,
- 15:34Speaker 3: and I left him a love note oh my, because
- 15:37Speaker 3: I had to go back to New York and he
- 15:39Speaker 3: took jureby took a video that he loved it so much. Yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 3: it's very sweet.
- 15:45Speaker 1: What are some of the things that are too bold?
- 15:47Speaker 2: So we talked about things like love notes you like
- 15:49Speaker 2: and you know, making them feel special, But what are
- 15:51Speaker 2: the things you think are too bold?
- 15:54Speaker 3: Too bold? Oh gosh, Well, you know going up to
- 15:57Speaker 3: a guy and just you know, staying the wrong thing
- 16:00Speaker 3: and you know, let's see, uh, that's something I would do,
- 16:06Speaker 3: you know, doing something that can be not very That's
- 16:12Speaker 3: where I'm looking. We're not but not pleasant, you know
- 16:15Speaker 3: what I mean? Those are the wrong moves. You know.
- 16:17Speaker 3: It's like it's like texting. You know, they're drinking and texting.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Don't ever do it drinking and texting. It's no No.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I know a lot of women who will like insult
- 16:28Speaker 2: a guy to get him to say hello, to say
- 16:31Speaker 2: a load to them.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Well, I think that's not a good way to go.
- 16:34Speaker 2: One of our mutual friends, I wanted to I want
- 16:36Speaker 2: to ask you this our mutual friends.
- 16:38Speaker 1: She does that.
- 16:38Speaker 2: She insults the guys to get them to, like, you know,
- 16:42Speaker 2: be on them on their back foot, which I think
- 16:44Speaker 2: is actually funny. Have you ever dated anyone that's Bethan
- 16:47Speaker 2: these data? Because I've been on a lot of dates
- 16:48Speaker 2: with guys in New York obviously I'm single.
- 16:50Speaker 1: And if one more.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Guy says, oh my god, I know your friend, I'm
- 16:54Speaker 2: like who And I like Bethan, And I'm like.
- 16:56Speaker 3: We are not. Well, you know, it's funny because I
- 16:59Speaker 3: don't think Bethany and I have the same taste of
- 17:00Speaker 3: men for sure, So that hasn't happened to me once.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I think I need to. I think I need to
- 17:06Speaker 1: get on Europe.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I'm like, you're like your your vibe and not for
- 17:10Speaker 2: some reason, they're all her vibe.
- 17:12Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh yeah, I mean, well, you know,
- 17:14Speaker 3: downtown similar.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I don't know why on earth that they would like
- 17:17Speaker 2: someone like me and like her like we're totally different.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Well, totally go back to here and there. I had
- 17:25Speaker 3: to do it.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I love you so much.
- 17:28Speaker 3: You're here on the dating pool and she's over here
- 17:30Speaker 3: on the dating pool. Right, we're up here. I'm talking
- 17:35Speaker 3: about dating now.
- 17:46Speaker 2: All right, now, let's talk all things cabaret. First of all,
- 17:48Speaker 2: your cabaret is just so fired. You're doing so great
- 17:51Speaker 2: and it's just so much fun, and you look drop
- 17:53Speaker 2: dead gorgeous, and you are an unbelievable entertainer, hands down,
- 17:58Speaker 2: incredibly entertaining.
- 17:59Speaker 1: You do. I know you're working so hard, and I'm
- 18:03Speaker 1: just I'm really really proud of you. So Mary, which
- 18:07Speaker 1: I love. So what what can they?
- 18:10Speaker 3: What do they? Mary? F kill is is you know
- 18:14Speaker 3: that came from my fans. So I'm always inspired by
- 18:17Speaker 3: my fans, because every cap ray show was doing, and
- 18:19Speaker 3: I talk about this in the show is they asked
- 18:21Speaker 3: me because I do a Q and A with the
- 18:22Speaker 3: audience like Mary f Kill, Countess, but every show. And
- 18:25Speaker 3: it's so funny because we never played Mary f Kill
- 18:27Speaker 3: in The Housewives, which is crazy to me because it's
- 18:30Speaker 3: a game that girls play all the time and I
- 18:32Speaker 3: don't ever playing Mary f Kill on the show. So
- 18:34Speaker 3: it's really inspired by my fans, you know, that show,
- 18:37Speaker 3: and that's where the song came from and the tour
- 18:39Speaker 3: came from. And it's actually f mary Kill, right, but
- 18:43Speaker 3: it didn't sound good to me, so I changed it
- 18:44Speaker 3: to Mary f Kill and you know, so that sure
- 18:48Speaker 3: has been so much fun. You know, I include that
- 18:50Speaker 3: song on my homecoming tour for the Holidays because really
- 18:53Speaker 3: I'm doing holiday shows right now. It's it's Christmas with
- 18:56Speaker 3: the Countess now, and so I'm playing dates in Chicago,
- 19:00Speaker 3: in Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Royal Oak, Michigan. So I
- 19:08Speaker 3: have Christmas tour, you know, finishing up my Christmas tour now,
- 19:13Speaker 3: and you know, it's so much fun because I take
- 19:15Speaker 3: Christmas music, I turn it on its head. You know.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I wrote a new song called Sonya Got Run over
- 19:19Speaker 3: by a reindeer. You heard it? And then I go,
- 19:23Speaker 3: Bethany got run over by a reindeer? Good? And you
- 19:27Speaker 3: know it's it's just tongue in che what's your website?
- 19:30Speaker 3: Countain Slanta Confert tickets for the upcoming Chicago, Cleveland and
- 19:34Speaker 3: Cincinnati shows in Michigan, Michigan, so check it out. And
- 19:39Speaker 3: then I'm going to Europe for my new UH tour
- 19:43Speaker 3: that's gonna be in February, and I'm playing you know,
- 19:46Speaker 3: England and Dublin and Scotland. So you know, I love
- 19:49Speaker 3: I love creating the show. You know, for me, it's
- 19:53Speaker 3: all about the creativity. People think they know my cab
- 19:56Speaker 3: Ratio from TV. They do not because they never show
- 19:59Speaker 3: the music because of music rights. And so's the drama
- 20:03Speaker 3: around my cabaret show. You never get to see my show, right,
- 20:07Speaker 3: So so it's you know, it's it's cabaret. People don't
- 20:11Speaker 3: know what cabaret. So cav rat is really personal stories
- 20:13Speaker 3: of your life.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:14Speaker 3: So I start with, you know, a song I love,
- 20:16Speaker 3: Then I back into it with the story that why
- 20:19Speaker 3: I want to sing this song? What's the story there?
- 20:22Speaker 3: And then I picked the perfect Giovanni dress as you know,
- 20:25Speaker 3: it's so my show is not culture right meets cabaret
- 20:30Speaker 3: meets comedy meets a fashion.
- 20:32Speaker 2: You're so fine, Let's do our own Mary f Kill
- 20:36Speaker 2: Housewives edition.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Okay, So Mauricio, Kyle's X, p K.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Duritz X, Michael Darby, Ashley's X on Potomac.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I mean, can you imagine with you she was on
- 20:49Speaker 3: the show with the they're all xes at disappoint I mean,
- 20:53Speaker 3: it's the Housewives curse anyway. You know that's why they're
- 20:57Speaker 3: doing a dating show right now, because they they built
- 21:00Speaker 3: a stable of single housewives, didn't they anyway? So I
- 21:04Speaker 3: had to say that anyway, So Mary F Killed. Well,
- 21:08Speaker 3: I'm going to Mary p K, I'm going to f Mauricio,
- 21:15Speaker 3: and I'm going to kill Ashley Darby's X.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Speaking of divorce, we've both been there, so have our listeners.
- 21:28Speaker 2: What's the one piece of advice that got you through
- 21:31Speaker 2: your last divorce?
- 21:34Speaker 3: Run run run fast, you know, especially if you know
- 21:39Speaker 3: this person is not good for you. I mean, you know,
- 21:45Speaker 3: I think that when you're not happy and someone is
- 21:49Speaker 3: not making you happy, you need to change it up.
- 21:52Speaker 3: And you know, divorce is not easy, and you know
- 21:56Speaker 3: it's like it's like moving, divorce and taxes. You know,
- 22:00Speaker 3: those are the three stressors in life that could kill you.
- 22:03Speaker 3: So you know, bad marriage is you know, and a
- 22:06Speaker 3: divorce and you know, and there's nothing wrong with that.
- 22:09Speaker 3: You know, it's not a failure. It is it is
- 22:11Speaker 3: closing one door and opening another. You know, if something
- 22:14Speaker 3: doesn't work for you, you have to move on, and
- 22:17Speaker 3: you know, and you just have to know that it's
- 22:20Speaker 3: not a it's not your fault, right, it's it's just
- 22:23Speaker 3: how it is. And and it's not easy, like I said,
- 22:26Speaker 3: but you know, you have to keep staying the driver's
- 22:29Speaker 3: seat and try to try to know that this is
- 22:35Speaker 3: one door that's closing and another door is opening. This
- 22:38Speaker 3: is just the stepping ladder of life.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 2: What I was just trying to think, Like the best
- 22:43Speaker 2: advice that I got through when I was getting divorced
- 22:46Speaker 2: is actually my neighbor. Uh he pulled up because he
- 22:50Speaker 2: was taking his Our children were the same age, and
- 22:52Speaker 2: he pulled up in the Hampton's right in front of
- 22:54Speaker 2: my house and he goes, I'm going to help you
- 22:57Speaker 2: unravel the situation. You're going to get a mediator, and
- 22:59Speaker 2: you're going to just handle it. And you're gonna tie
- 23:01Speaker 2: a bow on it. That's why I learned Tiabo. He said,
- 23:04Speaker 2: you're going to tie a bow on it, and you're.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Just going to move forward.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And then you're gonna do a nice You're gonna do
- 23:09Speaker 2: a nice piece in the in the press that you
- 23:11Speaker 2: know just says nice things about both of you, and
- 23:13Speaker 2: you're just going to move on gently. And it was
- 23:15Speaker 2: the most elegant way. And most people have asked me
- 23:20Speaker 2: so many times, like, oh.
- 23:21Speaker 1: My god, how was it?
- 23:23Speaker 2: Listen, And it was not easy. I mean, I had
- 23:25Speaker 2: two young kids. I have a lot of fear of.
- 23:28Speaker 1: How I was going to provide for them.
- 23:31Speaker 2: But I also knew that the way that my children
- 23:35Speaker 2: are being raised in that environment was not good.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Well I totally get it, you know, because so after
- 23:39Speaker 3: I divorced the count, I you know, it almost destroyed me. Right,
- 23:43Speaker 3: So I went to I was going to go to
- 23:45Speaker 3: Saint Bert's and partty with girlfriends of mine, and I
- 23:47Speaker 3: had a girlfriend called me and she said, no, you're not.
- 23:50Speaker 3: You're going to go and take care of yourself. So
- 23:53Speaker 3: Papper yourself, take care of yourself, be kind to yourself,
- 23:57Speaker 3: be good to yourself. So I went to Deepak Troper
- 23:59Speaker 3: and that's that's how I discovered meditation and yoga, so
- 24:02Speaker 3: and that changed my life, you know, and I realized,
- 24:05Speaker 3: oh my god, there's a being and you're a human being.
- 24:08Speaker 3: We're just beings, right, and you have to take care
- 24:12Speaker 3: of that inner being and that you know your soul
- 24:16Speaker 3: and you can't let it wreck you because, like I said,
- 24:19Speaker 3: it's not about you. It's about things not working out,
- 24:22Speaker 3: and sometimes they don't and you got to take it
- 24:24Speaker 3: one day at a time and and just take care
- 24:27Speaker 3: of yourself.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I love that. Let's go back to dating.
- 24:30Speaker 2: How did you meet this new man friend that you
- 24:34Speaker 2: have eyes for?
- 24:35Speaker 3: Well, listen, I you know, I met somebody. I really
- 24:38Speaker 3: liked the Love Hotel. I've been dating somebody in the
- 24:41Speaker 3: hamp since we met at a hotel.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I'm by the way, I'm so sad didn't get to
- 24:46Speaker 2: go in the Love Hotel. I liked what I was
- 24:48Speaker 2: so excited to meet you there and see all these
- 24:51Speaker 2: guys and like check out, like who was interested in
- 24:54Speaker 2: my lib?
- 24:54Speaker 1: I'm like very protective of my love.
- 24:56Speaker 3: It's like every woman's wet dream come true, darling to
- 24:59Speaker 3: be present did with a ton of guys. I mean, hello,
- 25:02Speaker 3: get paid and go on vacation for three weeks. It
- 25:04Speaker 3: was paradise. I loved it.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Where do you think of good places to find to
- 25:09Speaker 2: find guys? Not the Regency place?
- 25:12Speaker 3: Well, I mean you listen to the Regency bar ain't bad.
- 25:15Speaker 3: I think I think bars are a great place. I mean,
- 25:18Speaker 3: I think you could go to the bank, you know,
- 25:21Speaker 3: drop something on the floor if you like a guy
- 25:23Speaker 3: who's gonna come and pick it up, and then you
- 25:26Speaker 3: can lose and say hello. So you know you have
- 25:28Speaker 3: to like what Bill okay or pierres or I think
- 25:34Speaker 3: every I think everywhere, restaurants, you know, bars, I'm trying
- 25:37Speaker 3: to think, or at the Love Hotel. You got to
- 25:39Speaker 3: go to the Love Hotel. Daring I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 25:41Speaker 3: put your name in for next.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I'm very excited about my my new my new love life.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I am not gonna lie.
- 25:51Speaker 3: I am yeah. What's going on with you? By the way,
- 25:53Speaker 3: so I.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I was dating to guys.
- 25:57Speaker 2: One of them I had to put on pause and
- 25:59Speaker 2: the other one is amazing. I'm just kind of waiting
- 26:03Speaker 2: to see you know, like how more of that is going.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I'm just like.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Excited about Uh, it's interesting what you said before at
- 26:11Speaker 2: the at the at the top about you know, and
- 26:14Speaker 2: I think Jlo.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Did a disservice.
- 26:16Speaker 2: She said to everyone, I have a bad picker, and
- 26:18Speaker 2: so people started using that as like a way of
- 26:21Speaker 2: talking about the way that they meet men. And I
- 26:25Speaker 2: don't think that women have bad pickers. I think that
- 26:27Speaker 2: women aren't like you said. I think there they put
- 26:30Speaker 2: there in that kind of tone in their in their
- 26:34Speaker 2: day or their life where they're putting it out there
- 26:37Speaker 2: that they're single and they want to meet someone.
- 26:39Speaker 3: And then they'rey happy on their own that they don't
- 26:41Speaker 3: need a man. You know, this is all about it.
- 26:43Speaker 3: It's like putting out there that you're happy, you don't
- 26:46Speaker 3: need a man, and you know what, then that then
- 26:49Speaker 3: they can come to you, because you know, otherwise, if
- 26:51Speaker 3: you're looking to you know, it is if you're looking
- 26:53Speaker 3: so hard, you're never going to find it. It's the magic.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I remember after I got you know, I called off
- 27:01Speaker 2: the wedding and someone from page six called me and
- 27:03Speaker 2: they said, you know, are you single?
- 27:04Speaker 1: You dating?
- 27:05Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 27:06Speaker 2: And I said, I was like, I like that word single.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Single means like to kind of desperate, and I'm definitely
- 27:11Speaker 2: not desperate. You know, I have a lot of great friends,
- 27:13Speaker 2: I beautiful family, I love my children, I love what
- 27:16Speaker 2: I do, so I'm very happy in my life. I
- 27:19Speaker 2: just want to share that with someone special. So I'm
- 27:22Speaker 2: not like desperately looking for someone.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Well, that's that's on them. That's what they're thinking. It's
- 27:28Speaker 3: it's not your thing, And who cares what people think?
- 27:31Speaker 3: This is the first thing is like, who cares what
- 27:33Speaker 3: people think? Single is not desperate. Single is single and
- 27:38Speaker 3: ready to mingle. Like Kim Petrell on Sex and the City.
- 27:41Speaker 3: That's single. So wait our seat. That's I'm in charge,
- 27:45Speaker 3: and I will pick you if you're lucky. That's how
- 27:47Speaker 3: I feel.
- 27:49Speaker 2: You're you're a marrying kind of woman, and so am
- 27:52Speaker 2: I. I'm I definitely want to get married again. And I've
- 27:55Speaker 2: been very you know, specific about who I think could
- 27:59Speaker 2: be a good person and for me, and when they're not,
- 28:03Speaker 2: I do not go through with that. But what do
- 28:07Speaker 2: you think of getting married again? Do you want to
- 28:09Speaker 2: get married again?
- 28:10Speaker 3: You know, listen, I'm spontaneous. I don't you know. I'm
- 28:13Speaker 3: trying not to predict my future. You know, I'm the
- 28:15Speaker 3: kind of girl that rolls day by day you know.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I you know, I get I married quickly. I dive
- 28:21Speaker 3: in quickly. That's how I live my life. You know,
- 28:24Speaker 3: I'm passionate. I don't try to predict the future like
- 28:29Speaker 3: predict the housewives. You know every year, Are you coming
- 28:31Speaker 3: back to the houses again? I don't know. I don't
- 28:33Speaker 3: know until I get to that bridge if I'm going
- 28:35Speaker 3: to cross it or not. So I feel the same
- 28:37Speaker 3: way about dating and men. I don't. I don't try
- 28:39Speaker 3: to predict that. Am I gonna get married again?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Sure?
- 28:41Speaker 3: I would love to get married again because I'm hopeless romantic.
- 28:44Speaker 3: You know that about and I know you are too,
- 28:47Speaker 3: and you're, you know, looking to get married again. But
- 28:49Speaker 3: I wouldn't say I'm looking to get married again. I'm
- 28:51Speaker 3: looking for a partner in my life. Yeah, somebody I
- 28:54Speaker 3: can count, who has my back, who loves me, who
- 28:57Speaker 3: is protecting me. And you know that's what I'm looking
- 29:00Speaker 3: for married again. It's yeah, you know, we're we're hopeless romantic.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Son't white.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Look, you're a beautiful bride. I was at that wedding.
- 29:09Speaker 1: You're gorgeous.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Oh my god, Oh that was a fabulous wedding. Too
- 29:12Speaker 3: bad the guy wasn't white. But you know, he was amazing.
- 29:16Speaker 3: What a fabulous party weekend it was. What about for
- 29:19Speaker 3: our kids, because we both have daughters, So what kind of.
- 29:21Speaker 2: What kind of advice do you in part to Victoria,
- 29:24Speaker 2: and what kind of advice should I, you know, tell
- 29:26Speaker 2: my girls about dating?
- 29:28Speaker 3: And well, listen, you know it's so funny because Victoria
- 29:32Speaker 3: met a guy in the Hampton this last summer and
- 29:36Speaker 3: and it was primarily a lot of older people, very
- 29:39Speaker 3: wealthy people, in some mansion in East Tampton. And she
- 29:43Speaker 3: went with a gay friend of mine, right, a gay queen.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I love my queens. So she went with the queen
- 29:49Speaker 3: and it's like queens and older people, right, and then
- 29:52Speaker 3: a boy plops down across from her at the table, right,
- 29:56Speaker 3: and and she goes, she leans over and she goes,
- 29:59Speaker 3: are you And he goes, yeah. They've been together ever since.
- 30:06Speaker 3: So you just never know, you know, And you know, me,
- 30:10Speaker 3: I want my daughter to be happy. I want her
- 30:12Speaker 3: to be to have I want to see a man
- 30:14Speaker 3: loving on her. I mean, I just want to see
- 30:16Speaker 3: her happy and and you know, and get married one
- 30:19Speaker 3: day and have her own children.
- 30:20Speaker 1: You know.
- 30:20Speaker 3: So you know, that's that's the kind of wisdom in
- 30:25Speaker 3: part to her, which is like she was dating guy
- 30:27Speaker 3: for like twelve years, my daughter since she's a teenager,
- 30:30Speaker 3: and I knew he wasn't right, and I said, you know,
- 30:33Speaker 3: were you brought out of him? And she would be
- 30:35Speaker 3: like and because we can see right what they don't
- 30:40Speaker 3: see as parents, right, right, And so I could tell
- 30:44Speaker 3: that now this guy, I think he might be right
- 30:48Speaker 3: for her. I mean, I have to get to know
- 30:50Speaker 3: him better. I haven't spent a lot a lot of time.
- 30:53Speaker 3: He's actually gonna be spending the holidays with us, so
- 30:55Speaker 3: I'm going to get them a lot better.

- 31:09Speaker 2: Okay, So, Luanne, last question for you, what advice do
- 31:13Speaker 2: you have for single parents when they get back out
- 31:16Speaker 2: there and they're starting to date.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Well, listen, you know I never as a single parent
- 31:21Speaker 3: when I was dating and single. You know, I didn't
- 31:24Speaker 3: bring a guy around until I was absolutely sure that
- 31:26Speaker 3: this is somebody that I want in my life. So
- 31:28Speaker 3: you know, it's sleepovers with men, and you know, all
- 31:32Speaker 3: that kind of stuff I don't think is a good
- 31:34Speaker 3: thing for kids, because you know, I think it just
- 31:39Speaker 3: shows them that you're unsure, right, because if you're bumping
- 31:44Speaker 3: around to different guys, you're unsure of your own, you know,
- 31:49Speaker 3: dating life. And I'm sure of you know who it
- 31:52Speaker 3: is that you want in your life. I think that
- 31:54Speaker 3: it's so important for as a parent and you're dating,
- 31:57Speaker 3: to not bring anywhere. I think so important is parent
- 32:00Speaker 3: to not bring anyone around your kids until you really
- 32:03Speaker 3: are positive that they're going to be a part of
- 32:05Speaker 3: your life.
