- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us
- 0:05Speaker 1: Air on Air with Ryan Seacrest. Except you know that
- 0:11Speaker 1: song reminds me any good morning, Good morning. That song
- 0:16Speaker 1: reminds me. I've been doing something recently. I've been going
- 0:19Speaker 1: back in time, songs like that, or songs from Mariah Carey,
- 0:23Speaker 1: or songs from even bb Rex, who's going to be
- 0:25Speaker 1: on this show today. Songs that take me back to
- 0:28Speaker 1: a different time, and I remember where I was living,
- 0:31Speaker 1: I remember who I was seeing, I remember what we
- 0:34Speaker 1: were doing. It's kind of it's nostalgic and kind of
- 0:37Speaker 1: fun the best.
- 0:38Speaker 2: That's why I love music.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Really, just I don't know, it's been like this refreshing journey.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I can't wait to exercise with my headphones because I'm
- 0:46Speaker 1: playing these songs. They take me back to a certain
- 0:48Speaker 1: time I remember, like I'll now listen to songs that
- 0:51Speaker 1: were so painful during a breakup. Now I listened to
- 0:55Speaker 1: them with pleasure.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Wow.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Three sixty, it's three sixty. It just goes to show
- 1:00Speaker 1: you we can grow, hm, we can grow. So mostly
- 1:05Speaker 1: drive this weekend partly sunny, highs in the mid sixties,
- 1:08Speaker 1: upper sixties in some places. More rain coming next week
- 1:11Speaker 1: So get out and enjoy it if you can. Exactly
- 1:15Speaker 1: new tubes and the tires on my bike somethringing to
- 1:17Speaker 1: get out there this weekend. Remember the time I took
- 1:21Speaker 1: my bike out, was so excited and the car door
- 1:22Speaker 1: opened and hit me.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah, and every cyclist I saw on any street I thought,
- 1:27Speaker 4: was you.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Well, here's the problem. I don't know who the engineers are.
- 1:31Speaker 1: They design the lane of traffic, then they put the
- 1:34Speaker 1: bike lane in the middle of the parking lane. Like
- 1:37Speaker 1: that seems dangerous. So if you open your door, you
- 1:41Speaker 1: open it into the bike lane. If you pull out,
- 1:44Speaker 1: you cross the bikelane. Put the bike lane on the
- 1:46Speaker 1: other side of the parking lane near the curb.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah, but then you would have people that wouldn't be
- 1:52Speaker 3: able to park straight on that line and they would
- 1:54Speaker 3: park into the bike lane.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Well, they need to learn how to park versus opening
- 1:58Speaker 1: the door into my tube's saying look before you open
- 2:01Speaker 1: your door here. Yeah, it's not my fault. I was
- 2:04Speaker 1: just trying to get to the Santa Monica Decline incline. No,
- 2:09Speaker 1: I was going down. I was not going up.
- 2:13Speaker 4: I think it's called the climb either way.
- 2:15Speaker 1: No, but I was going down so I don't have
- 2:18Speaker 1: any bike. I was not peddling up that thing. I've
- 2:20Speaker 1: seen people try and run that. All right, here we go.
- 2:23Speaker 1: BV Rex is coming in this morning, Silda our inne Granny.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Tickets are next to Kiss two point seven Kiss FM.
- 2:29Speaker 1: All right now, Tanya, I'd love that you were talking
- 2:31Speaker 1: about this because I am that person that does this.
- 2:35Speaker 1: You know, when you are throwing trash away in the kitchen,
- 2:39Speaker 1: there are two types of people. There are those that
- 2:41Speaker 1: will take the trash out, and then there are those
- 2:43Speaker 1: that do what I do that Robbie does and what
- 2:45Speaker 1: is that?
- 2:46Speaker 4: Yes? And that is when I say, trash cans full?
- 2:49Speaker 4: Do you mind taking the trash can out? He grabs
- 2:51Speaker 4: a paper towel, stuffs it with his hand, pushes it
- 2:55Speaker 4: all the way down so there's maybe like four inches
- 2:57Speaker 4: left on the top, and he says, see now there's more.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Space human trash compacting.
- 3:02Speaker 4: No, And I'm like, then I end up when it
- 3:04Speaker 4: does fill up, I end up taking it out and
- 3:06Speaker 4: the bag rips and then the trash falls on my
- 3:09Speaker 4: feet and then I I'm like, babe, just take it out.
- 3:12Speaker 4: And I love you. It's his birthday, so I'm not
- 3:14Speaker 4: trying to.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Shade it on his birthday.
- 3:18Speaker 4: But it drives me nuts. Why does he do that?
- 3:20Speaker 1: I do it too. I break down boxes to get
- 3:23Speaker 1: it flatter. I press meats, proteins, plastics, whatever is in
- 3:27Speaker 1: those two different things, I press down as far as
- 3:29Speaker 1: I can press. Barbecue sauce comes out the bottom and
- 3:33Speaker 1: I'm still pressing that. I don't know what it is.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Whatever I can do. It's like a game. Whatever I
- 3:37Speaker 1: can do to tetris more trash in there before I
- 3:40Speaker 1: have to carry it out. I win.
- 3:42Speaker 4: And it was babe, why do you want to waste
- 3:43Speaker 4: so many trash bags?
- 3:45Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, he's right, this much. I'm my guys.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I push it down as well.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I push that stuff down sometimes I don't use a
- 3:55Speaker 1: paper towel. Good, so friendly. I just take my palm
- 3:59Speaker 1: and press that stuff down in there, and it just
- 4:02Speaker 1: the juice, the juice in the bottom underneath between the
- 4:05Speaker 1: trash can and the plastic bag. I got trash juice.
- 4:07Speaker 1: That is just disgusting.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Yes, it's so gross.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Do your roommates take the trash out? Oh god, no,
- 4:15Speaker 1: you say human impact.
- 4:16Speaker 5: No, we have grocery bags that sit outside of our
- 4:19Speaker 5: full trash can that get piled up with trash.
- 4:23Speaker 4: College life?
- 4:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that will change. But I am a tell Robbie
- 4:27Speaker 1: happy birthday. I too pushed my trash down.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll tell him You're on his side, definitely.
- 4:33Speaker 6: FM.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I had a scheduled doctor zoom the other day, and
- 4:37Speaker 1: of course I scheduled it months ago, and then when
- 4:39Speaker 1: it came up, I didn't have really a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 1: time to do the scheduled doctor call. So I don't
- 4:43Speaker 1: know how. What is a courteous way, a nice way
- 4:46Speaker 1: to close out a call that's like that, like you're
- 4:50Speaker 1: supposed to be there listening for a certain amount of time,
- 4:53Speaker 1: but you really want to say sounds good, all right,
- 4:55Speaker 1: that's thank you so much. But you can't get out
- 4:58Speaker 1: of the call. You can get out a call.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It seems like an important call for you to stay.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I don't want to hear it. I don't want to know, Sophia,
- 5:06Speaker 1: you were saying the same thing happens to you with
- 5:08Speaker 1: your guidance counselor or whatever their sorority counselor.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 5: So every week, my sorority advisor and I we have
- 5:13Speaker 5: a one hour weekly meeting. Last week it went on
- 5:18Speaker 5: for three hours because every time I try to wrap
- 5:21Speaker 5: it up and say, okay, talk to you next week,
- 5:24Speaker 5: she'd be like, oh yeah, and that actually reminds me
- 5:26Speaker 5: da d d da da dah, and we just keep
- 5:29Speaker 5: going and going.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Well, she should not be on for three hours. For
- 5:33Speaker 1: a one hour, she's got to find some hobby or
- 5:35Speaker 1: something like that. But there are ways to get out
- 5:37Speaker 1: of calls, like what do you do to get off
- 5:39Speaker 1: of a phone call? When you want to get off?
- 5:42Speaker 1: And I usually start saying sounds good, thank you so much,
- 5:46Speaker 1: appreciate the time. I don't ever say I mean, sometimes
- 5:49Speaker 1: I do have to say I have an appointment starting
- 5:53Speaker 1: in seven minutes.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I was gonna say, you're really good at that. I
- 5:56Speaker 4: feel like at the start of every meeting you always
- 5:58Speaker 4: say like I've got forty five minutes or I've got whatever,
- 6:01Speaker 4: twenty minutes, i've got ten minutes, I've got two minutes.
- 6:03Speaker 4: So maybe starting it off by setting that boundary might
- 6:05Speaker 4: be a good call.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Well, but it's difficult with the count store, or difficult
- 6:09Speaker 1: with the doctor who's been scheduled for three months to say,
- 6:13Speaker 1: thanks doc, I got seven minutes. They want to go
- 6:17Speaker 1: to a report with you, Things like it was really
- 6:21Speaker 1: nice to speak with you, and then they keep going.
- 6:24Speaker 1: But that is a toy. That is a queue to
- 6:27Speaker 1: say we're finished, or they might call you out and say, oh,
- 6:30Speaker 1: got somewhere to be, got something to do. The answers, yes,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I do. Do you mind if we end here? I think?
- 6:37Speaker 1: Can we just stop?
- 6:39Speaker 3: Sometimes there's just people in your life where you just
- 6:41Speaker 3: know that they talk a lot, or they talk extra long,
- 6:44Speaker 3: and I make time for that. I just, for example,
- 6:47Speaker 3: if I'm going to go into Beata's office, I know
- 6:49Speaker 3: that that is the vortex, and I know that I
- 6:52Speaker 3: bring my lunch, I bring my water bottle, I bring
- 6:55Speaker 3: my computer, and I know that I'm going to be
- 6:56Speaker 3: in there for like three hours.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I was on the phone with a friend of mine
- 7:00Speaker 1: who lives in another city, and I really just called
- 7:03Speaker 1: to say hi. And when I called to say hi,
- 7:05Speaker 1: this person went into everything under the sun, and I
- 7:08Speaker 1: actually said at the end, they're waiting for my reaction,
- 7:11Speaker 1: and I said, I just called to say hi.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Everything needed to talk to you.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I know, I know, but you guys talk me out.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I told them. I blame Sisney and Tanya for talking
- 7:22Speaker 1: me out every day. All right. Dating apps MICHAELA. You're
- 7:26Speaker 1: on one, so I think maybe you're making a major mistake.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Maybe other people are doing the same thing. I don't know,
- 7:31Speaker 1: but here's what they say. If you're not getting traction
- 7:34Speaker 1: on your dating app, here's why it might not be working.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Group photos. Don't put up group photos. We don't even
- 7:42Speaker 1: try and figure out which one you are. Yeah, and
- 7:44Speaker 1: what if your friend's cuter?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Well, well that's true.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Too, Like, have you ever done it? Who's that?
- 7:51Speaker 2: We're not trying to send you up with her? I'm
- 7:52Speaker 2: trying to say it with her.
- 7:53Speaker 1: No, but I've done it? Who's that?
- 7:55Speaker 3: I know?
- 7:56Speaker 1: And then you know that's so no group photos on
- 8:00Speaker 1: the dating apps. We don't need to try and guess
- 8:02Speaker 1: you out from a lineup. I'm gon say we I'm
- 8:05Speaker 1: saying that on your behalf of Kayla Today's quote. If
- 8:10Speaker 1: you can't control it, why worry about it? If you
- 8:13Speaker 1: can control it, why worry about it?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Okay, you don't love it.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I was like, wait, are you still thinking about your
- 8:23Speaker 4: advice about the dating apps? Because I disagree, but you're wrong.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Nobody likes just photos of just one person, but.
- 8:31Speaker 1: You're trying to date the one person, trying to find
- 8:33Speaker 1: that person. That's what you want. No distractions, that money
- 8:36Speaker 1: and Tikisi. You're on Kiss FM. It's number one hit
- 8:38Speaker 1: music station. Thanks for being here. Our bb REX is
- 8:41Speaker 1: coming buy new music. Can I give you a little
- 8:43Speaker 1: taste of this vibe. It is so cool listen. That's
- 8:51Speaker 1: bb REX after seven Sisney is a headline.
- 8:54Speaker 3: This FM headlines well Bear Valley unified in the sand bordage,
- 8:59Speaker 3: you know mount. It's announced all schools will be closed
- 9:01Speaker 3: today due to heavy snowfall and dangerous conditions. Streets in
- 9:06Speaker 3: Burbank are closed due to a sinkhole that opened overnight
- 9:10Speaker 3: near Hollywood Way and Whitnell Highway, and La County filed
- 9:15Speaker 3: a lawsuit against Roadblocks, claiming the online platform failed to
- 9:20Speaker 3: protect children from exploitation and explicit content. Plus a big
- 9:26Speaker 3: night for Team USA at the Olympics as the women's
- 9:30Speaker 3: hockey team beat Canada to take home the gold and
- 9:33Speaker 3: Alissa Leeu one gold in women's singles figure skating.
- 9:38Speaker 1: B b REXA looking stunning here in the studio. Here
- 9:44Speaker 1: is bd REXA, but you're not. I get really well.
- 9:48Speaker 1: That's a vibe. That's you saying. It's a throwback. It's
- 9:51Speaker 1: a French era throwback. You were saying, I was.
- 9:53Speaker 7: Trying to go for Marie Antoinette a little bit.
- 9:55Speaker 1: There you go, I feel it, I see it. Great
- 9:58Speaker 1: to have you, Thanks for coming, welcome back. Now we're
- 10:02Speaker 1: about to launch into some new music from you, about
- 10:05Speaker 1: to play cheek a cheek. And then you just were
- 10:07Speaker 1: saying as we were getting on the air that you're
- 10:09Speaker 1: going to flood us with new music. Let's just start there.
- 10:11Speaker 1: We'll catch up in a minute, but let's just start
- 10:12Speaker 1: with the flood of new music. You've got one single
- 10:15Speaker 1: that came early. We got a new single out.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Now every couple of weeks, right.
- 10:19Speaker 1: So every couple of weeks is what you're doing.
- 10:20Speaker 8: Yeah, we wanted to do something different because I was
- 10:21Speaker 8: signed to a major label. Now I'm independent, which is
- 10:25Speaker 8: scary but fun. The reason why I love this is
- 10:28Speaker 8: because the traditional approach, right not to get too boring
- 10:31Speaker 8: here with a major label is you pick one song,
- 10:34Speaker 8: push everything you can behind it, and then if the
- 10:36Speaker 8: world doesn't like it, what's the point, you know? So
- 10:38Speaker 8: to me, it's like, I've been working on this project
- 10:39Speaker 8: for three years. I was like, we need to think
- 10:41Speaker 8: of a new approach. So we put out a super
- 10:42Speaker 8: cut online of twenty seconds, and we shot thirteen music
- 10:46Speaker 8: videos in three days. Visuals and every week we drop
- 10:50Speaker 8: a song. The week following we drop a video song
- 10:52Speaker 8: video song video. And now it's funny, I'm letting fans
- 10:55Speaker 8: vote online and you can't fake the numbers. Yeah, Like
- 10:59Speaker 8: they either love something or they don't. So certain songs
- 11:01Speaker 8: have been popping their heads up and I'm like, oh, interesting,
- 11:06Speaker 8: So is.
- 11:06Speaker 1: It what you expected for that? Like did you did
- 11:09Speaker 1: you anticipate the reaction or have you been surprised with
- 11:11Speaker 1: some things?
- 11:12Speaker 8: Some of the songs, like one of the songs sad Girls,
- 11:14Speaker 8: like I loved it. I did it with Getta and
- 11:17Speaker 8: you know, we have like the brothers sister situation because
- 11:19Speaker 8: after I'm good and hey Mama, it's like kind of like, ah,
- 11:22Speaker 8: like we gotta like do you know this again? But
- 11:25Speaker 8: that one has been surprising me because I want to
- 11:27Speaker 8: take that off off the album and people are loving.
- 11:30Speaker 7: That one, you know.
- 11:31Speaker 8: But New Religion I knew because it's the insomnia sample
- 11:36Speaker 8: with Faithless, so I knew that would be so people
- 11:38Speaker 8: are kind of freaking out.
- 11:39Speaker 1: They recognized that that's the only flavor to it.
- 11:52Speaker 7: Yeah, it's Albanian. I put a little Albanian in there.
- 11:54Speaker 7: You know, I'm from New York.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Albanian came in.
- 11:59Speaker 9: Cheek.
- 12:01Speaker 8: It means hay girl, hang Girl'll move those hips because
- 12:03Speaker 8: you're like an atomic bomb.
- 12:05Speaker 1: That's so cool to play that song. Okay, cute, I'm
- 12:10Speaker 1: gonna play that song coming up. And second, now, you
- 12:12Speaker 1: were just saying though when you got in here, oh
- 12:14Speaker 1: my gosh, that's not even your favorite of your favorites
- 12:17Speaker 1: right now, you have more favorites. And then you were
- 12:20Speaker 1: talking about somebody that worked on a verse for you.
- 12:22Speaker 8: Yeah, okay, it was just got I'm probably gonna get
- 12:25Speaker 8: in so much trouble for this, but I have to
- 12:27Speaker 8: say it. And my team is giving me the like,
- 12:32Speaker 8: don't do this because I haven't even like we haven't
- 12:34Speaker 8: done like you know, you do the song.
- 12:35Speaker 7: We haven't done paperwork or whatever. Probably get sued, it's fine.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 12:39Speaker 8: So I got a new lawyer. I got a new lawyer,
- 12:41Speaker 8: Jason Biarsky. I was sitting with him at dinner because
- 12:43Speaker 8: we went to Fashion Week last week in New York,
- 12:45Speaker 8: and I was like, you know, just got out of
- 12:47Speaker 8: prison in fetti wop after nine years in prison, I'm like,
- 12:50Speaker 8: twenty sixteen is having this whole like you guys, yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 8: you seeing that, Like twenty sixteen is back better than ever.
- 12:55Speaker 8: Everybody's like being nostalgic about it. I'm like, it would
- 12:57Speaker 8: be so fun to do a song with him. He's
- 12:59Speaker 8: like think, He's like, I'm his lawyer and I'm the
- 13:01Speaker 8: reason why he got.
- 13:02Speaker 7: Out of jail earlier. No way, no, yes, So I
- 13:05Speaker 7: sent him a song like two three days ago. I
- 13:07Speaker 7: literally just got it in like this morning, and it
- 13:10Speaker 7: is he still has the song like he's because.
- 13:12Speaker 8: You don't know, like you're like, he's been gone for
- 13:14Speaker 8: nine years. No fire Like now, I'm like, you, guys,
- 13:17Speaker 8: should we switch the order and put it like?
- 13:19Speaker 2: It's so good?
- 13:20Speaker 1: I feel an energy and I see a fire though
- 13:22Speaker 1: that I have not seen. I mean, you're obviously very
- 13:24Speaker 1: very happy with what you decided.
- 13:25Speaker 8: Am I talking too fast? Because my mom's been listening
- 13:27Speaker 8: to my interviews and she's.
- 13:28Speaker 7: Like, you need to take a deep breath.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Mom's amazing, She's like, you need to take a deep breath.
- 13:34Speaker 7: Too nervous.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I was like, okay, all right, well let's take a
- 13:37Speaker 1: deep breath. We'll come back. I'm playing ch CHK in
- 13:39Speaker 1: just a second here bb Rexa is with us this morning.
- 13:42Speaker 7: And the album's Dirty Blonde.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Dirt, Dirty Blonde Album. All right, let's get into it next.
- 13:48Speaker 7: Hang on kiss.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Dirty Blonde K.
- 13:55Speaker 8: Thanks for playing it, Ryan, It's I know it's not
- 13:59Speaker 8: like a radio radio song, like it's different, but I
- 14:02Speaker 8: wanted to whatever.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But it definitely stands out. And also I'm embarrassed that
- 14:07Speaker 1: I move so much to it, like I am embarrassed
- 14:09Speaker 1: about mine. He couldn't control it. I couldn't control it. Well,
- 14:12Speaker 1: what will be next? All right? This is out now
- 14:14Speaker 1: and then comes to visual what will be next?
- 14:17Speaker 8: Whatever the fans vote for, so whatever they vote for,
- 14:20Speaker 8: I think. I think it's new religion, but I don't know.
- 14:22Speaker 8: It wasn't supposed to be new religion.
- 14:23Speaker 1: But I don't know. It could change it could It
- 14:25Speaker 1: could fluctuate.
- 14:26Speaker 8: Depending like we're really watching, like all the algorithms, the
- 14:29Speaker 8: likes and the shares.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I love this rollout.
- 14:31Speaker 8: It's so unique and it's genius instead of like forcing
- 14:34Speaker 8: something down people's throat.
- 14:35Speaker 7: Yeah, like let them pick what they like.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Mm hmm right, Ryan, you're in charge, Yes, you're in charge.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I like it. I've not seen this energy form me.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I've known you a long time. I've not seen this energy.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Thank god.
- 14:44Speaker 7: I've been working so hard, so much therapy.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I have therapists.
- 14:51Speaker 1: There's a song.
- 14:51Speaker 8: I have a song, real quick, I have a song
- 14:53Speaker 8: about my therapist. And it's like I told her. I said, look, Molly,
- 14:57Speaker 8: I said, there's a song about you in my album.
- 14:59Speaker 8: But please don't take it personal because I'm like, I'm like,
- 15:02Speaker 8: I'm like the lyric is like I'm trying to stop
- 15:05Speaker 8: myself from reaching out again for the thousand time, but
- 15:07Speaker 8: I know that I'm messed up in my mind. I
- 15:08Speaker 8: talked to my therapist like a billion times and that
- 15:11Speaker 8: the B word is overpaid and my anxiety, and she's like,
- 15:14Speaker 8: she's like, honestly, she's like, you're not wrong. So I
- 15:20Speaker 8: got the clearance for her, so I didn't want to
- 15:21Speaker 8: lose her. Yeah, every Tuesday, I gotta talk to Molly
- 15:25Speaker 8: ten Am.
- 15:25Speaker 1: It was for the for the song, just for the song,
- 15:27Speaker 1: some edge for the song.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Molly.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, let's check it out. Chic Chick is out,
- 15:31Speaker 1: new music coming you vote on that. Dirty Blonde is
- 15:33Speaker 1: out in June. It is bb rexa great to see you.
- 15:36Speaker 7: Thank you, Ryan, that was phenomenal.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I shuck, come on, I didn't know I needed catsh
- 15:43Speaker 1: it till I heard Kesha right now in the Triple
- 15:46Speaker 1: x L mix on LA's number one in music station
- 15:48Speaker 1: YE one of two point seven Kiss FM. Some great
- 15:52Speaker 1: throwbacks there, Bro, nice job, all right, Ryan Seacrest, Sisiny
- 15:56Speaker 1: just wrapping up from bb REXA who's really having a
- 15:59Speaker 1: good time. I could just tell the new music is
- 16:01Speaker 1: super cool, so we just walked her out. Now let's
- 16:04Speaker 1: get into this. We're talking about Harry Styles giving away
- 16:07Speaker 1: that trip again next week for you to go see
- 16:09Speaker 1: Harry Styles at Madison Square Garden an aperture in the
- 16:12Speaker 1: music video. There is a very famous hotel that you
- 16:17Speaker 1: have driven by a million times. You've seen on the news,
- 16:20Speaker 1: you've seen in the traffic reports in La Forever, and
- 16:23Speaker 1: it is the Western bonovitch Er Hotel. Yeah, now what
- 16:27Speaker 1: is the significance. I've a lot of videos been shot
- 16:30Speaker 1: in or around the Western.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Yeah, So I had no idea until this all kind
- 16:34Speaker 3: of came to light how iconic this hotel is. So
- 16:38Speaker 3: many huge artists have filmed there, Kendrick Lamar, Sizza, Billie Eilish,
- 16:42Speaker 3: obviously Harry styles as you were mentioning the weekend Maroon
- 16:46Speaker 3: five with Lease, I mean even going back to like
- 16:47Speaker 3: Usher in the early two thousands. It's the architecture. It's
- 16:51Speaker 3: that that's what makes it super unique. It's very circular,
- 16:55Speaker 3: it's mirrored, and it's kind of just futuristic looking, so
- 16:57Speaker 3: directors really like it for music videos and things like.
- 17:01Speaker 2: That, and that's it.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I just wanted to shine some light on it because
- 17:04Speaker 3: I feel like it's a celebrity in itself, like if
- 17:06Speaker 3: it could give autographs.
- 17:07Speaker 1: It should. The irony that it's futuristic, it's been there
- 17:10Speaker 1: for a long time. I was doing a little deep
- 17:12Speaker 1: dive on what you can do some great rates down
- 17:14Speaker 1: there if you want a little get away weekend at
- 17:16Speaker 1: the Weston Bonaventcure Hotel. Also, I was just thinking about
- 17:20Speaker 1: Harry here. Yeah, you know, is it like he's in
- 17:23Speaker 1: this sort of like he's a very reflective guy and
- 17:27Speaker 1: that building is super reflective and looking at it's like
- 17:31Speaker 1: looking into a mirror building of mirrors right.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Right, because you can see some of the Eli skyline
- 17:36Speaker 3: in the reflection of the mirrors.
- 17:38Speaker 1: So it's got to have something to do also with
- 17:41Speaker 1: I think the symbolism and reflection.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Oh, it's an aperture, letting the light in through the lens.
- 17:48Speaker 6: See.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I mean i'd be reminded what aperture meant. But thank you.
- 17:53Speaker 6: On air with Ryan SEACRESTFM RAY.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Where is my husband?
- 18:03Speaker 9: Uh?
- 18:03Speaker 1: Let me grab this. This is Maya in La So, Maya,
- 18:06Speaker 1: you're calling about a guy that you're hooking up with.
- 18:09Speaker 1: You say you didn't get anything for Valentine's Day? Is
- 18:13Speaker 1: that right?
- 18:14Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 18:15Speaker 2: I mean we had plans on Valentine's Day, so I
- 18:17Speaker 2: was expecting something small.
- 18:19Speaker 10: So when I saw him, he was like, oh, sorry,
- 18:21Speaker 10: I forgot it's Valentine's Day.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Mm hmm. So here's the thing I learned about Valentine's Day.
- 18:29Speaker 1: If you're just starting to hang out with someone, some
- 18:32Speaker 1: people might think it's not a great like they kind
- 18:34Speaker 1: of anti Valentine's You Like, they basically roll their eyes
- 18:39Speaker 1: at the idea of Valentine's Day when other couple celebrated.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And so I think that he was just with an
- 18:46Speaker 1: abundance of caution proceeding because I can tell you if
- 18:50Speaker 1: I were hanging out with someone, that person might roll
- 18:54Speaker 1: their eyes at Valentine's Day.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Yeah, familiar.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So until you get closer to like understanding each other
- 19:02Speaker 1: or being in what it is that you're in. I
- 19:05Speaker 1: wouldn't read into it. That's just my view.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I mean, what is there to do?
- 19:11Speaker 3: Read so much into it that then you make it
- 19:14Speaker 3: awkward and you break up with them, like or do
- 19:17Speaker 3: you just kind of go with the flow?
- 19:20Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 19:21Speaker 5: I mean we've been casually seeing each other for about
- 19:23Speaker 5: like five months.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Five months, Okay, this changes things.
- 19:27Speaker 1: This changes long casual.
- 19:30Speaker 3: It does, but it's more hooking up than like real dates.
- 19:34Speaker 10: So I kind of expected something a little.
- 19:37Speaker 3: But not too much.
- 19:39Speaker 1: But you're in this gray area, so nothing's going to
- 19:41Speaker 1: be for sure. That's the album with the gray area.
- 19:43Speaker 2: What does he do for birthdays and holidays?
- 19:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't look. It's also only Valentine's Days, not that
- 19:48Speaker 1: big of a deal. It's not a Birthday's not a holiday.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Really five months, so well, that's that's a different scenario,
- 19:56Speaker 1: the five month thing. You got to deal with that
- 19:57Speaker 1: if you want to deal with that. All right, Thank
- 19:59Speaker 1: you min for calling. Appreciate it, thank you for listening
- 20:01Speaker 1: to us.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I mean, this guy moved your body. You're on a
- 20:05Speaker 1: kiss FM. It's Ryan Seacrest. It's listening. It is Tanya.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Thanks for listening to us. Now Sophia is not here.
- 20:10Speaker 1: She had to go to class. Okay, so it's Friday
- 20:13Speaker 1: and she's got class at nine. Listen, guys. We got
- 20:16Speaker 1: mostly dry stuff this week and partly Sunday hidsing up
- 20:18Speaker 1: our sixties. More rain is coming next week. I'm having fun.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I hope you guys are having fun. Fun Friday morning.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Bbrexit was here last hour. She brought some energy. Have
- 20:27Speaker 1: you heard her new song, Cheek Cheek? We played it
- 20:30Speaker 1: last hour and give you a here you vote for
- 20:33Speaker 1: your favorite. Look all it up for BB. Anyway, here's
- 20:37Speaker 1: the deal. We talked about this before, and my mother
- 20:41Speaker 1: is a traditionalist, and she at one point probably told me, hey, right,
- 20:46Speaker 1: when you meet somebody, don't live with them before you
- 20:47Speaker 1: get married. Now she's changed her mind. I think she
- 20:51Speaker 1: was pretty for us to change your money. I think
- 20:54Speaker 1: just by of the circumstances. Now, tany you bring this
- 20:58Speaker 1: up today, go ahead and let's talk about it. Would
- 21:00Speaker 1: you live with somebody before you get married? Is that
- 21:01Speaker 1: a good idea or not?
- 21:03Speaker 4: Michelle Obama has weighed in on this debate. She said,
- 21:06Speaker 4: wait a couple of years. You don't do anything that
- 21:08Speaker 4: serious in early parts of a relationship. My recommendation is
- 21:11Speaker 4: always take some time, make moving in like way down
- 21:15Speaker 4: the line. So I actually asked Chatchibyt after I read
- 21:18Speaker 4: this story about Michelle. She said. Chatchabyt said, many studies
- 21:23Speaker 4: say that couples who lived together before getting married tend
- 21:26Speaker 4: to have higher divorce rates than those who didn't. So
- 21:29Speaker 4: I think Michelle Obama's onto something.
- 21:31Speaker 3: You guys, I have been telling you this since before
- 21:33Speaker 3: Michelle Obama said this.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I don't agree, but I'm just telling you from my
- 21:38Speaker 1: point of view. You want to see all there are
- 21:41Speaker 1: things that people do you don't know they do until
- 21:43Speaker 1: it's too late, and you don't want it to be
- 21:45Speaker 1: too late.
- 21:45Speaker 4: But you can live together and not move in together
- 21:48Speaker 4: like you can see how somebody lives with.
- 21:49Speaker 3: R Yes, you can with spentay in the night all
- 21:52Speaker 3: the time. And that's how it kind of was. Michael
- 21:55Speaker 3: and I did not move in with each other until
- 21:57Speaker 3: we were like basically basically married. We were engaged already
- 22:01Speaker 3: like two months out. I'm gonna it is.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Been my experience that it is impossible to truly see
- 22:05Speaker 1: true colors until you live together.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Well, sixteen years later, we're still doing it.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Well.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I got more sample groups than you got. Okay, I
- 22:13Speaker 1: had more chances to check this study out, and it's true,
- 22:16Speaker 1: more times than not, I learned something. When the person
- 22:18Speaker 1: moved ink for you, you hit the jack No, you
- 22:22Speaker 1: hit the jackpot. I saw new. Now by the way,
- 22:23Speaker 1: it goes the same way. Guess what they get to
- 22:25Speaker 1: see from me blowing my nose in a terry cloth washcloth.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I've seen that.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Actually, all right, it's time to play a little thing here.
- 22:37Speaker 1: We put together for Bruno Mar's tickets. Hey Shannon on
- 22:39Speaker 1: Kiss FM and Torrence? How are you? I'm so good
- 22:43Speaker 1: for you? Doing great? All right, here's the deal, Bruno
- 22:46Speaker 1: Mars tickets for you. We're gonna play store was Here's
- 22:51Speaker 1: how it works. I don't give the two stores, restaurant's,
- 22:54Speaker 1: clothing stores, coffee shops whatever. You tell me which one
- 22:57Speaker 1: has more locations here? And something happened? Okay, So first one, okay,
- 23:02Speaker 1: you gotta get three right before you get three? Wrong?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Oh gosh, okay, first one is Targets or Walmart? Who
- 23:09Speaker 1: has more stores in Soco? Target? Correct? Three and twenty
- 23:13Speaker 1: one to three? Oh, three, that's right? Or no Number two?
- 23:16Speaker 5: Okay?
- 23:18Speaker 1: TJ Max or Marshalls. Who's more stores in Southern California? Oh?
- 23:23Speaker 3: TJ Max Marshals at thirty That one was tricky and
- 23:27Speaker 3: don't they just all owe each other?
- 23:29Speaker 1: But I didn't say the parent company.
- 23:31Speaker 3: I just said that he didne Listen, I'm just trying
- 23:34Speaker 3: to get one for Shannon.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I'm just saying that was tricky, and I'm so excited
- 23:37Speaker 1: and I'm so nervous because I gotta go to you
- 23:38Speaker 1: still live? You're still live? Here?
- 23:40Speaker 6: You go?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Next one Del Taco or L Poyo Logo del Taco
- 23:43Speaker 1: or El Poyo Loco. Who's more stores in Soca del Taco? No,
- 23:47Speaker 1: L Poyo Loco?
- 23:48Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:49Speaker 1: Three fifty four for Dell, three ninety one for l
- 23:54Speaker 1: All right, next one, gotta get this one. I thinks,
- 23:56Speaker 1: doesn't you have to get this one?
- 23:58Speaker 2: She does have to get this one?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Super Cut or Great Clips? Supercuts are great Clips? Who's
- 24:02Speaker 1: more stores in Southern California?
- 24:06Speaker 9: Super Cuts?
- 24:07Speaker 6: Yes?
- 24:08Speaker 1: You got it? All right? For the win.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I'm so nervous right now.
- 24:12Speaker 1: You're gonna get this Jersey Mike's or Jimmy John's Jersey Mikes, Yeah,
- 24:18Speaker 1: you got it. Four to forty. Want to see sold out?
- 24:23Speaker 2: Bruno Mars, Jimmy Johns, all.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Right, Shannon, we won't see you there. I was gonna
- 24:28Speaker 1: say we'll see you there, but I don't know if
- 24:30Speaker 1: we're going, you.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Will be there and we should connect. I think we
- 24:33Speaker 5: need to do that.
- 24:34Speaker 9: J I like it on air with Ryan Seacrest, Kendrick
- 24:42Speaker 9: Glamars squad up on Kiss.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Thanks for being with us this morning. Tonight, if you're
- 24:48Speaker 1: going to check out the Olympics Women's Speedskating, Men's free
- 24:51Speaker 1: ski halfpipe final and two woman Bob's ledding, that is
- 24:55Speaker 1: tonight on the Olympics. Let's do the weekend watch those
- 24:58Speaker 1: What should we watch this weekend? What's my idea is the.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Weekend watch list does not gown listening.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Let's start with you. What's on your weekend watch list?
- 25:06Speaker 2: Okay?
- 25:07Speaker 3: Song Sung Blue? It is available now to watch on Peacock.
- 25:11Speaker 3: It stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. They play it
- 25:13Speaker 3: down on their luck Milwaukee couple who kind of find
- 25:16Speaker 3: local stardom within their town as a Neil Diamond tribute act.
- 25:21Speaker 3: As we know, Kate Hudson is up for Best Actress
- 25:23Speaker 3: at the Academy Awards for this role.
- 25:25Speaker 2: It's a really really good movie, all right.
- 25:28Speaker 1: It's on Peacock Tanya. What's on your weekend watch list?
- 25:31Speaker 6: Okay?
- 25:32Speaker 4: Beast Games Season two on Prime. This season is so good.
- 25:35Speaker 4: It's Smarts versus Strong. It's Wednesday nights, and next Wednesday's
- 25:39Speaker 4: actually the finale, which is perfect because next Wednesday's also
- 25:43Speaker 4: the season fifty premiere of Survivor. So it's just an
- 25:46Speaker 4: embarrassment of riches for people who enjoy these types of shows.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And Ruby, what is on your weekend watch list?
- 25:52Speaker 10: Celebrity Substitute on YouTube. I'm obsessed with the show. Stars
- 25:56Speaker 10: like Billie Eilish and Andrew Garfield try to teach energetic
- 25:59Speaker 10: public elementary school kids while Amazon surprises the teachers by
- 26:03Speaker 10: fulfilling their classroom wishless.
- 26:04Speaker 2: So it's just really wholesome.
- 26:06Speaker 10: This week, I think one debuts with Kailani, so it's
- 26:09Speaker 10: really really fun, all right.
- 26:11Speaker 1: And on my weekend watch list, Steal My sister told
- 26:14Speaker 1: me about it. I picked it up. It's on Amazon Prime.
- 26:16Speaker 4: I told her about it.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Don't matter, just trying to share it with everybody you
- 26:23Speaker 1: know who cares.
- 26:26Speaker 4: He had the credit for that.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Fine Chanya and Meredith told me about it. It stars
- 26:32Speaker 1: Sophie Turner. She was in that dragon thing. I didn't
- 26:35Speaker 1: watch Game of Thrones, yep, but she's in this and
- 26:37Speaker 1: it's great. She's great. I didn't watch Game of Thrones,
- 26:40Speaker 1: and I don't know if i'll I don't know. I
- 26:42Speaker 1: don't have done it anyway. She's like works in an office.
- 26:46Speaker 1: It's a it's a great heist and it takes place
- 26:49Speaker 1: in the UK seniors. Cool accents and all that stuff.
- 26:52Speaker 1: So I'm on episode two but it seems good.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Oh you're in for a tree crushing it.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Well, somebody we can watch this. Raven Lena kiss up, Oh,
- 27:03Speaker 1: thank you for being here. I am planning because we
- 27:07Speaker 1: got some dryness, we got some sunshine. I'm planning to
- 27:09Speaker 1: get out on my bike. If anybody wants to go
- 27:10Speaker 1: to bike ride Sysney Tanya this weekend reach out, let
- 27:14Speaker 1: me know. I'd prefer to go early, but not if
- 27:15Speaker 1: it's too cold. Too early. I'm down thing, so let
- 27:20Speaker 1: me know. I'm ready to go. I want to get
- 27:22Speaker 1: outside and enjoy it. They do say I was reading,
- 27:24Speaker 1: isn't it Mel Robbins, who's the woman that Mel Robbins.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Yes, she wrote the book let Them.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Yes, I loved I think I saw her on a
- 27:33Speaker 1: special Anyway, she said she doesn't look at her phone
- 27:36Speaker 1: for two hours when she wakes up in the morning.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Every day she makes her bed first and she goes
- 27:41Speaker 1: right for sunlight as soon as she can, and it
- 27:42Speaker 1: sets her day right. So I'm doing that tomorrow nice.
- 27:46Speaker 1: So I won't even I won't even know if y'all
- 27:47Speaker 1: want to go bike right because I won't look at
