- 0:43Speaker 3: guess what Tomorrow's Friday, Friday Bday. Already I'm trying to
- 0:48Speaker 3: get ready and I'm kind of weirded out that I
- 0:51Speaker 3: love the rain on the way.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Oh yeah, me too, not just fall vibes hashtag fall vibes.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Well, yeah, we're supposed to have a lot of wet
- 0:58Speaker 5: weather in October and we've had none.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I know that's true. We've had done cannas. How are
- 1:01Speaker 2: you Yeah, I'm okay.
- 1:02Speaker 5: But my drive in today was a little chaotic because
- 1:05Speaker 5: you know, those like trucks that carry the arrows and
- 1:08Speaker 5: they like try to like stop you, slow you down
- 1:10Speaker 5: from like people picking up roadwork or construction stuff. Yeah,
- 1:13Speaker 5: there was one like at a dead stop right around
- 1:16Speaker 5: like a blind turn.
- 1:17Speaker 2: That's day I came around.
- 1:19Speaker 5: I know, w everybody slam on their brakes, like I
- 1:21Speaker 5: had to go to the left off of the road
- 1:23Speaker 5: like the lane that I was in onto the shoulder,
- 1:25Speaker 5: and then I could see the people behind me, like
- 1:28Speaker 5: and everybody just like going in different directions. I just
- 1:31Speaker 5: was like holding my breath, like, please do not hit me,
- 1:33Speaker 5: Please do not hit me. Thankfully, nobody hit me.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I didn't hit anybody either.
- 1:37Speaker 5: But it was the most chaotic morning where you think
- 1:39Speaker 5: you're just like chilling lah nice drive to work today.
- 1:43Speaker 2: See, people don't understand the overnight construction is wild.
- 1:46Speaker 3: It is like the other day I was coming back
- 1:48Speaker 3: from Aledo and they had a twenty just closed out
- 1:51Speaker 3: of nowhere. Yeah, and people freaked out because they didn't
- 1:53Speaker 3: know what to do, where to go. It was just
- 1:54Speaker 3: I mean, it was chaos. I'm like, you don't understand
- 1:57Speaker 3: when people are moving here in the city is getting
- 1:58Speaker 3: bigger and bigger and bigger. Yeah, they have to do
- 2:01Speaker 3: more construction and the traffic's worse. I mean there's traffic
- 2:04Speaker 3: no matter what time of the day you're at.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 1: People always ask me, like how my drive to work
- 2:08Speaker 1: is because we drive.
- 2:10Speaker 5: In so early, and I'm typically like, I mean it's
- 2:12Speaker 5: normally fine, but like a couple of days.
- 2:14Speaker 1: A week, there's a like moment for.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Me on the way here, and then my nerves are
- 2:18Speaker 5: rattled by the time I get to work. Yeah, and
- 2:20Speaker 5: that's me today.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I just swerve yesterday leaving the station going home north
- 2:24Speaker 3: of Toway because there was a ladder in the right length,
- 2:28Speaker 3: a ladder full blown, and I'm like, usually that's six
- 2:31Speaker 3: thirty five activity it is you.
- 2:33Speaker 5: Weren't that big eighteen wheeler that was hanging off the
- 2:36Speaker 5: overpass in McKinney yesterday?
- 2:38Speaker 2: I saw that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's something every day it is.
- 2:41Speaker 4: It is.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Well, I'm glad you're okay. Yeah, thank you made it safe?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Pretty sure?
- 2:45Speaker 3: Is here?
- 2:45Speaker 2: What's up?
- 2:45Speaker 4: Who?
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yesterday was awesome. I had all three of my boys. Wow, yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 2: all three of my boys.
- 2:50Speaker 7: And then they had their group of little friends and
- 2:53Speaker 7: guess what old school game we played?
- 2:55Speaker 2: What remember monkey in the middle where you just throw
- 2:57Speaker 2: the football over it?
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:59Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, really fall vibes for really, you know, it
- 3:02Speaker 7: was because it was kind of cool or whatever, and
- 3:04Speaker 7: we were just all playing it and my kids about
- 3:07Speaker 7: twelve and thirteen year old, they had never heard of it,
- 3:09Speaker 7: and I'm like.
- 3:09Speaker 2: What what do you mean monkey in the middle.
- 3:11Speaker 6: You mean.
- 3:13Speaker 2: You're talking about five hundred? Oh yeah, they called it.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I used to call it jackpot or five hundred.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Everybody would be at one end and then there's one
- 3:21Speaker 3: person that throws it, and then you throw and you
- 3:23Speaker 3: got to get to five hundred, and then you'd be like,
- 3:25Speaker 3: this is worth negative one.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Hundred if you catch yeah, or three hundred and you
- 3:29Speaker 2: got to get to five hundred.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They play something called Mosser or I'm the Mosser now.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like the same thing where you throw it
- 3:36Speaker 5: into the crowd and then someone catches it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It's like a hole. Yeah.
- 3:39Speaker 2: They play six seven Yeah probably cool.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:44Speaker 7: I had so much mon but the kids, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 7: because they never experienced that, and I'm like this, these
- 3:48Speaker 7: are what we did.
- 3:49Speaker 2: We didn't play video games, you know, we went out
- 3:51Speaker 2: in the yard and play it is. Yeah, you know,
- 3:53Speaker 2: we didn't. We had to make up stuff we did.
- 3:55Speaker 2: We had to do all that I had a good
- 3:57Speaker 2: time with Chris. Oh yeah, yeah, thank you.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I'm so curious.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I forgot about that. Your oldest son Chris took you
- 4:04Speaker 2: to lunch. Yeah, guess what he got me done? A bachi?
- 4:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah, who's favorite?
- 4:11Speaker 4: Yes?
- 4:11Speaker 3: Not waffle house? No, no, no, that's hood about you. Well,
- 4:15Speaker 3: because Pool will take a girl of the waffle house.
- 4:17Speaker 3: He'd be like, hey, girl, you know one of those
- 4:18Speaker 3: restaurants where they cook in front of.
- 4:20Speaker 2: You and then like kabachi. He's like, no, waffle house. Yeah. Yeah,
- 4:24Speaker 2: we had a good time. I had three chicken fried rice.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Jeez, I was hungry, and I was like, hey, son,
- 4:30Speaker 7: you're gonna pay all that child's bought up.
- 4:32Speaker 4: You know.
- 4:33Speaker 2: It was good though. We had a good time. Got
- 4:36Speaker 2: to spend quality daddy time.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Yesterday good well, I was busy writing my mailman or
- 4:43Speaker 3: male woman, I don't know who she is or who
- 4:45Speaker 3: he is, an apology letter.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Good for you.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I felt so bad because my neighbor was like, hey,
- 4:54Speaker 3: you got to check your mail, and I was like, yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 3: I hate checking my back.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I have an anxiety issue.
- 4:58Speaker 4: You do.
- 4:58Speaker 5: But I even told you some something important is coming
- 5:00Speaker 5: in your mail this week because I got it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Who's gonna get it? For a thing that we're working
- 5:05Speaker 1: on for work and it's just coming in your mailbox.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I didn't check the mail. I just dumped it in
- 5:08Speaker 3: a bag and I'm gonna check it today. But I
- 5:11Speaker 3: did write a note apologizing to the mail person. You
- 5:14Speaker 3: want me to read it to you, please, and I
- 5:16Speaker 3: left them a Specs gift card. Good.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good. Okay. I wrote the mail person this
- 5:21Speaker 2: right here, and I felt so dumb.
- 5:23Speaker 3: But I'm like, you know what, I feel bad because
- 5:25Speaker 3: the man my extra number was like, hey, that mail
- 5:27Speaker 3: person is the mail person is stress and when they
- 5:29Speaker 3: get to your head, I'm telling you you can't fit
- 5:32Speaker 3: anything in. I see him out there struggling. So I
- 5:35Speaker 3: put dear postal worker, Yeah, sorry, I suck and check
- 5:39Speaker 3: in my mail. I hope I'm not making your job harder. Here,
- 5:43Speaker 3: take these treats for your trouble, and thank you for
- 5:46Speaker 3: what you do. And I left the Spex gift card
- 5:48Speaker 3: in a Waterburger gift card and I was like, there
- 5:51Speaker 3: you go. So hopefully they get it. But I'm like,
- 5:53Speaker 3: I do feel bad, but I don't know. Ever since
- 5:56Speaker 3: I mean, I've been an adult. I hate with a
- 6:00Speaker 3: passion two things. Checking my mail and getting gas. Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 3: I hate them, that's so much.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I hate getting gas.
- 6:10Speaker 2: But see, the gas thing is just sucks. The male
- 6:12Speaker 2: thing to me is like anxiety.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, the gas cost you money. At least checking your
- 6:17Speaker 1: mail is free, not mine.
- 6:19Speaker 2: That's exactly right. Stories on the Dents with Billy the.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Kid in the morning only on the New Mix one
- 6:27Speaker 1: two point nine.
- 6:28Speaker 3: We got a dirty little secret coming up at six fifty.
- 6:30Speaker 3: There's a lot going on this morning. Candide slow Pas,
- 6:32Speaker 3: what's up well?
- 6:33Speaker 5: The Texas Education Agency is expected to discuss the future
- 6:36Speaker 5: of Fort Worth ISD this morning. They're gonna have a
- 6:39Speaker 5: press conference at nine am today. They're expected to announce
- 6:42Speaker 5: a full state takeover of the district. If this happens,
- 6:46Speaker 5: the existing board and superintendent would be removed and replaced
- 6:50Speaker 5: with state appointed candidates.
- 6:53Speaker 1: When this announcement comes, though, the district will review it immediately.
- 6:56Speaker 5: They say they will share verified information with staff families first.
- 7:01Speaker 5: This was kind of expected though, after one of their
- 7:03Speaker 5: schools got a failing rating five years in a row.
- 7:06Speaker 5: That's sort of what happens in that instance. But they
- 7:09Speaker 5: have made some improvements over the last year.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But This takeover could last anywhere from two to three years.
- 7:16Speaker 1: So I know a lot of people anxious this morning
- 7:18Speaker 1: and for worth about this big announcement. It's gonna change
- 7:20Speaker 1: things big time over there.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, significantly.
- 7:23Speaker 3: We get a lot of teachers that listen, so yeah,
- 7:25Speaker 3: I don't know what it all means for them, and
- 7:27Speaker 3: I hope it works out best.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yes, that's why I care about the kids and the teachers.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Absolutely absolutely. I'll keep you posted them real great guys.
- 7:36Speaker 5: This old interview with Morgan Wallin's ex is going around
- 7:39Speaker 5: because she was talking about how he proposed to her.
- 7:42Speaker 5: So she says it was in the parking lot of
- 7:44Speaker 5: a J. C. Penny and Knoxville, Tennessee. So this is
- 7:49Speaker 5: Katie Smith I'm talking about.
- 7:51Speaker 1: She and Morgan have a five year old son.
- 7:53Speaker 8: Oh.
- 7:55Speaker 1: So she said the proposal was low key. He basically said,
- 7:58Speaker 1: are we gonna do this or what?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Well, that's romantic. Yeah, I mean what's the significance of
- 8:06Speaker 3: a JC penny though? Is it something in special in
- 8:08Speaker 3: the relationship because you know, people you know might pop
- 8:11Speaker 3: the question in a place that sounds ridiculous to them.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Yeah, the first place they met, right, it.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Could be the first place they met. It could be
- 8:16Speaker 3: where he was, you know, where he got his outfit
- 8:18Speaker 3: for the first date.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe they were tailgating on their first meeting at
- 8:22Speaker 5: j You don't know.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I don't know you.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I would love to hear from people, where's the most
- 8:27Speaker 3: ridiculous place that someone popped the question?
- 8:30Speaker 2: If you got one?
- 8:30Speaker 3: If if your husband or now husband or ex or whatever,
- 8:34Speaker 3: pop the question in the most ridiculous place? Eight three
- 8:36Speaker 3: three seven eight seven one o two nine eight three
- 8:39Speaker 3: three seven eight seven one oh two nine J C.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Penny's good, It is good.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Are we doing this or what guys are we doing this?
- 8:45Speaker 3: Or what?
- 8:46Speaker 6: I think?
- 8:46Speaker 1: What the answer there?
- 8:48Speaker 4: I think?
- 8:49Speaker 2: What's the answer?
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Some Cano Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories, real
- 8:53Speaker 1: or fake news?
- 8:54Speaker 2: I give you three headlines. You got to tell me
- 8:55Speaker 2: which one is the fake one.
- 8:57Speaker 3: And it's just a good opportunity to talk about some
- 9:00Speaker 3: ridiculous stuff that's going on in our world.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Headline at number one, candas you're ready, who you're ready? Yes, sir? Right?
- 9:05Speaker 2: Number one.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Domino's employee arrested for illegally flying pizzas into a prison.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Domino's employee arrested for illegally flying pizzas into a prison.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Oh that is headline at number one.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Headline number two, British parrot missing for four years returns
- 9:25Speaker 3: home speaking Spanish. British parrot missing for four years returns
- 9:33Speaker 3: home speaking Spanish as headline number two at headline number three.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Husband forced to pay ex wife for saving her number
- 9:41Speaker 3: under Chubby. Husband forced to pay ex wife for saving
- 9:47Speaker 3: her number under Chubby. Oh my gosh, those are your
- 9:51Speaker 3: three headlines. One of them is fake, one of them
- 9:53Speaker 3: I made up. You gotta tell me which one. Who
- 9:56Speaker 3: would like to go first? Candas would you like to
- 9:57Speaker 3: pass it to pooor or take it?
- 9:59Speaker 1: This one's hard to.
- 10:01Speaker 5: I'm gonna go first, and I think I'm gonna go
- 10:04Speaker 5: with that last story, the husband putting his ex wife
- 10:08Speaker 5: in the phone under Chubby.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yep, okay, you think that's the fake one?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it sounds like something you made up.
- 10:13Speaker 2: You want to lock it in?
- 10:14Speaker 1: I lock it in, we'll see what happened.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Lock it in, go producer, Poo. Which one do you
- 10:18Speaker 2: think is fake?
- 10:20Speaker 7: I'm gonna go with that second story about the pair
- 10:23Speaker 7: return speaking Spanish after four years.
- 10:26Speaker 2: No, I don't think that's a real story.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I hope that's true.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Lock me in.
- 10:31Speaker 3: If it only said swear words in Spanish, that would
- 10:34Speaker 3: be me if I was a parent, that's all right,
- 10:37Speaker 3: lock that in.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Yes, and the winner today is me. You both missed
- 10:46Speaker 2: the fake story.
- 10:46Speaker 3: The fake story was the first one Domino's employee arrested
- 10:49Speaker 3: for a legally flying pizzas uh into a prison.
- 10:52Speaker 2: So that was the fake story. It's hard today, I know,
- 10:56Speaker 2: I know that was a good one. Now, the other
- 10:58Speaker 2: stories absolutely true.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Husband forced to pay its wife for saving her number
- 11:03Speaker 3: under Chubby really happen. This happened in Turkey. Yeah, not
- 11:08Speaker 3: a flattering name, but this court in Turkey ordered a
- 11:11Speaker 3: man to pay his ex wife compensation after he saved
- 11:14Speaker 3: her under You know his contact is Chubby and I
- 11:18Speaker 3: guess in Turkish that means tom Beck. Oh okay, let's
- 11:21Speaker 3: say you say Chubby in Turkish. The nickname came to
- 11:25Speaker 3: like during divorce proceedings. The woman claimed it was degrading,
- 11:28Speaker 3: damaging to their marriage and it hurt her, and she
- 11:31Speaker 3: won compensation, and it also set a precedent in that
- 11:34Speaker 3: country that hey, fellas, you can't do that, and either
- 11:36Speaker 3: can the ladies don't, which I mean, come on, really,
- 11:39Speaker 3: you could say people's name under what is it disrespectful?
- 11:42Speaker 2: Is it rude?
- 11:43Speaker 4: Yes?
- 11:43Speaker 1: Yeah all the time. That's crazy.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I know that's wild story to me. And then the
- 11:47Speaker 2: other story is just insane.
- 11:50Speaker 3: This parrot a British parent missing for four years, returns
- 11:54Speaker 3: home speaking Spanish.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Oh.
- 11:56Speaker 3: A British parrot named Nigel went missing for four years,
- 12:00Speaker 3: leaving his family heartbroken. When he finally returned, everyone expected
- 12:03Speaker 3: the same familiar companion, but there was a surprise. Nigel
- 12:07Speaker 3: spoke Spanish, having picked up phrases from his family that
- 12:11Speaker 3: took care of him during his absence. His unexpected new
- 12:14Speaker 3: vocabulary amazed his original owners. The story went viral and yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 3: now he says all his stuff in Spanish, but kind
- 12:23Speaker 3: of with the British accent.
- 12:25Speaker 2: How insane is that? That's awesome? This guy to tell
- 12:28Speaker 2: me that does not sound like a Disney movie.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. I'll watch it right now.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I would watch it immediately.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Get it off your chest to comments you'll feel better.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret Mix one or two
- 12:42Speaker 2: point nine. Don't forget smashing pumpkins. We're doing that next week.
- 12:44Speaker 3: But you gotta win your way in if you want
- 12:45Speaker 3: to smash one of these pumpkins that's gonna be filled
- 12:48Speaker 3: with prizes. It could be concert tickets to go see
- 12:50Speaker 3: Ed sheared, It might be Jonas brother's tickets.
- 12:52Speaker 2: It might be Lady God got tickets. Either way, a
- 12:54Speaker 2: chance to win. You're weighing at.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Eight o'clock, eight o'clock and five o'clock this afternoon, so
- 12:57Speaker 3: make sure you listen. All right, it's Bill at a
- 12:59Speaker 3: kid Candice Lopez? Is he your producer? Poo and dirty
- 13:02Speaker 3: Little Secret is on. If you have one, bring it
- 13:04Speaker 3: eight three three seven eight seven one two nine, or
- 13:06Speaker 3: you can DM me at Billy on the radio and
- 13:08Speaker 3: you have one.
- 13:09Speaker 2: What's up?
- 13:11Speaker 4: So? Uh?
- 13:12Speaker 8: I used to gamble for a living, cars, dice, a
- 13:14Speaker 8: gamble in sports, anything that would make my full race. Uh.
- 13:20Speaker 6: And I lost everything, my house, my car, my wife.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Everything from gambling. Yeah geez, okay.
- 13:28Speaker 6: Yeah, So I left Vegas, uh and I came back
- 13:30Speaker 6: here in Dallas, and uh, I have been totally humbled.
- 13:35Speaker 6: I mean, I work in a kitchen now at this
- 13:37Speaker 6: fancy hotel, I mean the kind of place I would
- 13:39Speaker 6: have stayed, and now I'm the help.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Really, so you work in the kitchen at a hotel,
- 13:46Speaker 3: obviously you don't have to say which one, but you
- 13:47Speaker 3: work at a kitchen at a hotel now, and like, okay,
- 13:51Speaker 3: so completely different lifestyle, which is, hey, you gotta do
- 13:54Speaker 3: what you gotta do.
- 13:55Speaker 8: Nothing wrong with that, but anyway, I mean, yeah, I'm
- 13:58Speaker 8: doing what I gotta do, uh, which is barely getting by.
- 14:01Speaker 8: By the way, I rent a room from some weirdo dude.
- 14:04Speaker 8: He croups me out, but you know it's cheap, and
- 14:07Speaker 8: uh don't I barely make enough to survive. So my
- 14:11Speaker 8: secret here is, uh, every night, after everyone leaves, I
- 14:15Speaker 8: clean the kitchen. The rules say all the leftover food
- 14:18Speaker 8: goes in the trash, but I can't stand to see
- 14:22Speaker 8: it wasted. So I fell two garbage bags, one real
- 14:26Speaker 8: trash one mind. I take my bag home, eat it up,
- 14:30Speaker 8: and eat like I used to.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Oh so you okay, So you take a bag full
- 14:37Speaker 3: of food home that you're supposed to be thrown away?
- 14:40Speaker 8: Yeah, I leftover some that night, I mean, and why
- 14:44Speaker 8: would you throw it away?
- 14:45Speaker 2: Though they do though some of those big stores they just.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Away.
- 14:51Speaker 1: We would care if you took it, though.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I don't know there's policies in some places.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Because we've had a guy like this call before and
- 14:56Speaker 3: he's like, I hate throwing away all the food, but
- 14:58Speaker 3: they make me throw.
- 14:58Speaker 2: It away, and we make you we can't take it
- 15:00Speaker 2: home and all this stuff. So yeah, I don't know.
- 15:02Speaker 3: So, I mean, it's right, it shouldn't be a problem, right,
- 15:06Speaker 3: But also it's a pride thing too. I'm sure you
- 15:08Speaker 3: don't want people to know you're taking a bunch of
- 15:10Speaker 3: food home because you Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 8: Nobody knows that. I mean, I don't know if it
- 15:14Speaker 8: would be getting in trouble or anything, but either way,
- 15:16Speaker 8: I don't want anyone knowing for a lot of reasons.
- 15:19Speaker 8: You know, the chef just thinks I'm quiet, but night
- 15:22Speaker 8: guards think I'm tired. I guess nobody guesses that the
- 15:25Speaker 8: man willing the trash off back is stealing his dinners
- 15:27Speaker 8: from the dumpster.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Geez.
- 15:31Speaker 3: So yeah, well, I don't know if you should be
- 15:36Speaker 3: feel shame about it. I've heard of people doing that.
- 15:39Speaker 3: I mean, not this specific thing, but I've heard of
- 15:41Speaker 3: people taking things to the dumpster and then leaving it
- 15:45Speaker 3: out there and then going back and getting it later on.
- 15:47Speaker 2: So that that's what you do with your food.
- 15:49Speaker 8: Yeah, that's how it s devives.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Wow, it seems like this should be totally fun. Wouldn't
- 15:57Speaker 5: everyone who works in a kitchen want to like take the.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Food and use it like they don't. I don't think
- 16:03Speaker 2: a lot of people do.
- 16:04Speaker 3: As a matter of fact, we were just talking about
- 16:05Speaker 3: this because my son was like, Dad, it was like,
- 16:07Speaker 3: this is a few nights ago, over the weekend, He's like, Dad,
- 16:09Speaker 3: can I.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Go to Dunkin Donuts? And it was like at night
- 16:11Speaker 2: and I go, no, why he goes?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Because I heard at the end of the night they
- 16:15Speaker 3: throw away all the donuts and they'll just give them
- 16:17Speaker 3: to you. Yeah, And I was like, oh, I don't
- 16:20Speaker 3: know if that's true or not. I don't know if
- 16:21Speaker 3: they but then it seems like there's a liability if
- 16:24Speaker 3: you just give them away. I don't know, so I
- 16:28Speaker 3: don't listen. Good for you, first of all, for getting
- 16:31Speaker 3: your life back together.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I don't know. Obviously you've stopped gambling.
- 16:33Speaker 3: That's a huge accomplishment you should be very proud of,
- 16:37Speaker 3: because hey, who cares where you're at now. It's a
- 16:40Speaker 3: matter of you're you're still here and you're surviving that
- 16:42Speaker 3: that there's something be said about that.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Thank you. I do appreciate that, you know what I mean,
- 16:48Speaker 2: Like I mean, my grandma was a big gambler. I know.
- 16:51Speaker 3: I laugh sometimes I laugh about it and I say that,
- 16:53Speaker 3: you know, I think I'm one step away from being there.
- 16:55Speaker 3: But my grandma took her entire life savings and blew
- 16:59Speaker 3: it in Vegas. Left for a month, left, left a family,
- 17:02Speaker 3: took everything she had in Vegas and blew her entire
- 17:05Speaker 3: life savings in Vegas.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Y'all didn't even hear from her.
- 17:08Speaker 3: No, she was gone at those penny slots with the
- 17:11Speaker 3: Virginia Slims and an oxygen tank, just doing it big
- 17:17Speaker 3: and never hit a jackpot, missed all my little league games. Oh,
- 17:22Speaker 3: Brammy was gone. Then she came back broke and we
- 17:25Speaker 3: had she lived with us. So wow, yep.
- 17:28Speaker 2: But hey, so good for you for getting it together.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Good luck.
- 17:32Speaker 3: If there's anything we can do, I know, sometimes we'll
- 17:34Speaker 3: have some gift cards laying around and stuff.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Maybe we can give you some and and help you
- 17:38Speaker 2: out in some way. All right, thank you, I appreciate that.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Yeah, stay right there, we'll see if we have any Okay,
- 17:43Speaker 3: all right, trying to help him out when we can,
- 17:46Speaker 3: you know, but hey, getting back on your feet from
- 17:48Speaker 3: an addiction, any addiction is something you should be proud.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Of, for sure.
- 17:54Speaker 1: With Billy's Kid in the morning.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Forget, We're gonna do it a clock smashing pumpkins. We're
- 18:01Speaker 3: doing it next week at Pitchfork Pumpkin Patch, right, But
- 18:04Speaker 3: you got to be there and smash these pumpkins with us,
- 18:06Speaker 3: because I mean, there's prizes in the concert tickets, Ed Sheeran,
- 18:09Speaker 3: Lady Gaga, a ton of other tickets, and you could
- 18:12Speaker 3: be there and you could win. But you've got to
- 18:13Speaker 3: get your sponsored and make sure you listen. Eight o'clock
- 18:15Speaker 3: we'll do it and then five o'clock this afternoon was
- 18:18Speaker 3: in Okay, Canda, Slowpez.
- 18:20Speaker 2: What's up Well?
- 18:20Speaker 5: A tow truck driver was rescued after a crash left
- 18:23Speaker 5: him hanging off of an overpass at seventy five and
- 18:26Speaker 5: one twenty one and McKinney yesterday.
- 18:28Speaker 1: He was trapped in the cab of the truck as
- 18:30Speaker 1: it dangled there.
- 18:31Speaker 5: Police said he lost control while trying to avoid a
- 18:34Speaker 5: disabled vehicle, then hit that vehicle and the concrete barrier
- 18:38Speaker 5: in the process. Firefighters were able to bring in a
- 18:42Speaker 5: ladder truck to get him out.
- 18:43Speaker 1: He thankfully only had minor injuries. They said.
- 18:46Speaker 5: The only thing between him and the ground was the
- 18:49Speaker 5: windshield of that truck. And if you see the photos
- 18:52Speaker 5: or videos of this, what a scary, scary moment for this.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Imagine dangling over and overpress. And this has happened before
- 18:59Speaker 3: with like an eight wheeler one time I saw it.
- 19:01Speaker 3: I mean literally just hang it over and you don't
- 19:04Speaker 3: know what's about to happen, right, They.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Say, there's still going to be a few lanes in
- 19:08Speaker 5: this area closed for a few days because of the
- 19:11Speaker 5: damage to that barrier. But shout out to those McKinney firefighters.
- 19:14Speaker 1: And crews who got there so fast to help. You'll
- 19:17Speaker 1: probably see these photos online if you haven't already. Guys,
- 19:20Speaker 1: this is going to give you throwback feels.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Toys Rs is opening thirty news stores for the holiday season.
- 19:26Speaker 1: This will include eight permanent.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Flagship locations plus twenty seasonal pop ups in malls and outlets.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Across the country.
- 19:34Speaker 5: Toys Rs has had a hard time since they filed
- 19:37Speaker 5: for bankruptcy.
- 19:37Speaker 1: That was back in twenty seventeen. Then they closed, you know,
- 19:41Speaker 1: over seven hundred stores.
- 19:42Speaker 5: The next year, tried again with new ownership to make
- 19:46Speaker 5: this big comeback That didn't really work, except for one
- 19:49Speaker 5: store at the Mall of America.
- 19:51Speaker 1: They say that store has done so well. Maybe this
- 19:53Speaker 1: is what prompted Toys rs to open some of these
- 19:56Speaker 1: pop ups. You go to Stonebriar a lot.
- 19:58Speaker 5: Do we still have one there that you've seen the
- 20:01Speaker 5: Toys r Us Yeah, okay, it comes up on maps
- 20:04Speaker 5: if you look.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I think it's inside of another store. Maybe.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Oh it's like a store in a store, like a
- 20:09Speaker 5: Sephora and a JC Penny type thing.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I think they have some Toys r Us inside of targets.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Oh maybe that's what it is.
- 20:17Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 20:18Speaker 3: But either way, just the old school Toys r US building.
- 20:21Speaker 3: There was nothing like it. The excitement you'd have as
- 20:24Speaker 3: a kid rolling up there and oh man, I just
- 20:27Speaker 3: remember the way it smelled.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I remember the sounds.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I remember plastic, yes, and rubber from the bike.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yes.
- 20:35Speaker 2: It was special.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like ordering.
- 20:37Speaker 5: Stuff on Amazon and online is fun, but actually going
- 20:40Speaker 5: to the store and just having a whole store that's
- 20:42Speaker 5: only toys, like I want kids to experience that again.
- 20:45Speaker 3: My son was like seven when it closed down, and
- 20:47Speaker 3: I'll never forget because he loved it. I mean every
- 20:51Speaker 3: kid did. But you know, it was so special to
- 20:52Speaker 3: him because my mom used to take him for Christmas.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Every year they make a trip, you know, to Toys
- 20:57Speaker 3: r US and he could pick out his Christmas present.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I thought he I mean he did cry when it closed.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Oh that's so sad.
- 21:04Speaker 4: I know.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Now he's fourteen and he'll still be hyped that is
- 21:06Speaker 2: coming back.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:07Speaker 5: Yeah, they'renna announce more locations opening through the holidays very soon,
- 21:11Speaker 5: so I'll keep you posted.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm Candas Lopez. Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 21:15Speaker 9: On the story.
- 21:16Speaker 10: For Candace Court, it gets settled here with Billy the
- 21:19Speaker 10: Kid in the morning.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Candas Court, all rise for the Annible Judge, Candace Lopez. Well,
- 21:23Speaker 3: it's also gonna be smashing pumpkins out there next week,
- 21:25Speaker 3: which you gotta win your spot, and it's gonna be
- 21:27Speaker 3: so much fun. We'll all be out there at Pitchfork
- 21:30Speaker 3: Pumpkin Patch in Roy City just smashing pumpkins and getting
- 21:34Speaker 3: prizes for you. So you gotta win your spot to
- 21:36Speaker 3: smash a pumpkin and win some concert tickets maybe Lady
- 21:38Speaker 3: Gagat Jonas Brothers, Ed Scheeran.
- 21:40Speaker 2: It's gonna be fun. We'll do it at eight o'clock.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Coming up a shot to win your way in eight
- 21:43Speaker 3: o'clock and five o'clock with Zan Welcome to court.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Let's get down to business. If you've got a.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Problem for Candas, reach out anytime you want at Cannas
- 21:51Speaker 3: on Air, on Instagram, at Candas on Air. She's very
- 21:55Speaker 3: smart when it comes to issues. I go to her
- 21:56Speaker 3: for advice all the time. If I have an issue,
- 21:59Speaker 3: I mean, no fence pooh, I go straight to get up.
- 22:03Speaker 3: She just gives very good advice. Yeah, she gives good
- 22:06Speaker 3: She's a mom. Yeah, she's also, like you know, been
- 22:08Speaker 3: through a lot and she just knows. She knows us
- 22:11Speaker 3: very well.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Yes, say so. Let me read this message from this woman.
- 22:14Speaker 3: It says, so I feel the need to call out
- 22:16Speaker 3: all guys who do this because I went on a
- 22:18Speaker 3: date recently and it was fine. We had dinner and
- 22:21Speaker 3: the conversation was okay, nothing groundbreaking, and he paid for
- 22:24Speaker 3: the date, which was nice, so nice, and some points
- 22:27Speaker 3: for that. But here's the thing. The moment he pulled
- 22:30Speaker 3: up to pick me up, I felt that little internal cringe.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Oh no, he was driving this massive lifted F two
- 22:39Speaker 3: fifty truck. Okay, not just lifted, she says, not just lifted,
- 22:47Speaker 3: absurdly lifted, and to top.
- 22:49Speaker 2: It off, it had lime green lights glowing all around it.
- 22:55Speaker 3: I mean, come on, it was like the truck was
- 22:57Speaker 3: screaming for attention before he even stepped out. I get
- 23:01Speaker 3: it some people are into their vehicles, but this felt
- 23:04Speaker 3: like something straight out of a college frat party. Uh
- 23:07Speaker 3: and he's thirty seven. Oh okay, thirty seven years old.
- 23:11Speaker 3: At that age, you think he'd, you know, the need
- 23:14Speaker 3: to show off with neon lights and a monster truck
- 23:16Speaker 3: vibe would be faded. One of my girlfriends dated a
- 23:20Speaker 3: guy who drove a lifted truck and said he was
- 23:22Speaker 3: the biggest jerk ever.
- 23:24Speaker 2: It just gives me the ick.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I know I'm a little bit picky, but am I
- 23:28Speaker 3: being unreasonable with hating this?
- 23:31Speaker 4: Oh?
- 23:32Speaker 3: This is a very good one, Cannice. When you hear
- 23:36Speaker 3: this your initial thoughts. You're a car person, you love.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Thoughts, yem Yeah, and I love when I see those.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I'm like, oh cool, Enzo loves him.
- 23:42Speaker 5: He's totally into like all of the fast and furious vibes,
- 23:45Speaker 5: cars with lights underneath and cool stuff like that.
- 23:48Speaker 2: And this is Texas.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean there's lifted trucks everywhere. So I feel
- 23:52Speaker 1: like when you meet a guy and.
- 23:54Speaker 5: You decide you're going to go out, you have a
- 23:55Speaker 5: spark or connection. You kind of know if he's a
- 23:58Speaker 5: lifted truck kind of guy.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Don't you usually get that vibe sometimes you kind.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Of I feel like you do. But there's different lifted
- 24:04Speaker 2: truck guys too.
- 24:06Speaker 1: That's true.
- 24:06Speaker 3: There's a lifted truck guy and I just have a
- 24:08Speaker 3: lifted truck. Then there's a lifted truck guy with lights underneath.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Then there's a lifted truck guy with lights underneath and
- 24:14Speaker 3: a monster sticker right on the back.
- 24:16Speaker 1: That is a good point or truck.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Yeah, that's yeah, that's a whole noother conversation.
- 24:22Speaker 1: But does it have running boards? I'm like, is it
- 24:25Speaker 1: easy for you to get into?
- 24:26Speaker 3: Sure, I'm sure it does. I'm sure it has to
- 24:28Speaker 3: write and yeah that's another thing. It's it's not the
- 24:31Speaker 3: most easy vehicle for a first did especially if a
- 24:33Speaker 3: lady's wearing a dress.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, he better get out and help her.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, better get out, walk to the other side,
- 24:40Speaker 3: bring a step ladder, right, some sort of lift.
- 24:43Speaker 5: I mean some women are like if I have to
- 24:45Speaker 5: grab onto a handle to get into your vehicle. It's
- 24:49Speaker 5: a little inconvenient, but I mean these are you know,
- 24:51Speaker 5: concessions you make for But is.
- 24:53Speaker 3: There any any legitimate reason to kind of judge someone
- 24:58Speaker 3: by their vehicle.
- 24:59Speaker 5: I mean, it's a a lot about them and their
- 25:01Speaker 5: personality and what they're into. I mean, it's a good
- 25:03Speaker 5: gauge of whether they're gonna connect or not. Yeah, you
- 25:07Speaker 5: think so, you think judge, but you have to take
- 25:09Speaker 5: it into consideration.
- 25:11Speaker 1: That's like your biggest accessory.
- 25:14Speaker 2: If you will, let me ask you this, Well, then
- 25:15Speaker 2: what cars?
- 25:16Speaker 3: As a woman, what kind of car gives you a
- 25:18Speaker 3: red flag when it comes to a man that you
- 25:20Speaker 3: see and you're like, oh, nope, can't do it.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I have heard of guys driving mini vans
- 25:25Speaker 5: and they don't have kids.
- 25:27Speaker 1: They don't have kids what And I feel like that's
- 25:30Speaker 1: kind of a red flag for sure.
- 25:31Speaker 3: So if you see a guy rolling around in a
- 25:34Speaker 3: minivan with no kids, you're like, oh, red flag.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Interesting, creepy, Okay, zing, Okay.
- 25:41Speaker 3: What about what about a big white van with no windows? Yeah, exactly,
- 25:46Speaker 3: it says free candy.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Oh creepy.
- 25:50Speaker 5: I will say though, that Eric used to have a
- 25:52Speaker 5: white van with no windows for one of his businesses.
- 25:54Speaker 5: It was like a cargo van, and so sometimes I
- 25:56Speaker 5: would ride in there with him back in the day day.
- 25:59Speaker 1: You know, if he was like moving some stuff for
- 26:01Speaker 1: the job or that's.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Like a work fan. He wouldn't pick you up in
- 26:03Speaker 2: a date, first date. No, not on a first date
- 26:06Speaker 2: with that.
- 26:06Speaker 3: I mean, I wonder if it's goes the same way
- 26:08Speaker 3: with with men and women, Like there's certain red flags
- 26:12Speaker 3: that you see.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I'll tell you what fun, me what ultimate? And them
- 26:17Speaker 2: girls roll up with that ultimate energy? Yeah, big ultimate
- 26:21Speaker 2: energy is a real thing. Ultimate energy.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I used to not believe it, but every time I
- 26:25Speaker 3: see it ultimate now, I just change lanes.
- 26:27Speaker 5: I mean one passed me yesterday and the whole rim
- 26:30Speaker 5: was busted and the back, you know, fender was torn off.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Right.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like they're living lawless.
- 26:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:37Speaker 10: I figure if they if they hit you, it's like
- 26:39Speaker 10: whatever Altimore. Yeah, usually girls drop Honda Civic strippers.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I mean, that's just that's not my past. That's not
- 26:54Speaker 2: in my past. That's you're ridiculous, that's seriously at one.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Anyway, I'm nervous when I see the girls who have
- 27:02Speaker 3: eyelashes on their car.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, on their head lights, like.
- 27:06Speaker 1: A little Volkswagen Beetle.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Do you remember when that was a big deal.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Now they just put those sides eyelashes on their face
- 27:14Speaker 2: so it doesn't even matter walk around and looking like swiffers.
- 27:18Speaker 3: This is a good question, though, I wonder, ladies, is
- 27:21Speaker 3: there a certain car that you judge a guy by
- 27:23Speaker 3: eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine
- 27:25Speaker 3: that if he pulls up and you're like, oh, no,
- 27:27Speaker 3: I'm not doing it.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I can't, I can't do it right off the gate. Nope,
- 27:31Speaker 2: not gonna happen.
- 27:32Speaker 3: In this case, it's a it's a big truck lifted
- 27:35Speaker 3: with lights, and she doesn't like it. She's like, am
- 27:39Speaker 3: I wrong for it? Giving me the cringe? Can of slowpez?
- 27:41Speaker 3: Do we have a verdict?
- 27:42Speaker 1: We do have a verdict.
- 27:43Speaker 5: I mean, this guy is guilty of being a four
- 27:45Speaker 5: x four franc.
- 27:48Speaker 2: You do you?
- 27:49Speaker 5: It might be off putting for some women, but hang
- 27:51Speaker 5: in there because you'll find your one that likes your lights.
- 27:53Speaker 3: You're not gonna really hold on. You're really not gonna
- 27:56Speaker 3: date this guy because he's a four by.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Four franc He's a four.
- 27:59Speaker 4: It is what it is like.
- 28:00Speaker 1: You do you either take it or leave it for her?
- 28:03Speaker 1: You know, what if it used to his lights or not?
- 28:06Speaker 2: What if he turns the lights off on the chick.
- 28:09Speaker 6: I mean, he.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Shouldn't change his truck for her, and she shouldn't expect
- 28:12Speaker 1: him to. Really, Okay, there you go, So you's not
- 28:15Speaker 1: for you?
- 28:16Speaker 3: You sure it's a four by four franc Yeah, and
- 28:18Speaker 3: it's not a monster truck, Matt.
- 28:19Speaker 1: He's both.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Every line lit up right now, it's mixed one or
- 28:24Speaker 3: two point nine A bility kid.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Candae Lopez producer who is here.
- 28:28Speaker 3: We were talking about Candis Court and how this woman
- 28:30Speaker 3: wrote in and she's got the cringe because this guy
- 28:33Speaker 3: she went on a date with has a lifted truck
- 28:36Speaker 3: with massive tires, you know, lights, lime green lights, and
- 28:41Speaker 3: she's like, I don't know why it gives me the ick,
- 28:42Speaker 3: you know. And then you found you found the guy guilty. Yeah,
- 28:45Speaker 3: you found the guy guilty of being a four by
- 28:47Speaker 3: four franc Yeah he is. Which I just didn't know
- 28:49Speaker 3: if that was fair, because I mean, is it really
- 28:52Speaker 3: matter what kind of car a guy drives?
- 28:53Speaker 2: And I'm like, ladies, does it matter? Are there's certain
- 28:55Speaker 2: cars that just give you the instant cringe, right, oh, yep,
- 28:59Speaker 2: there is, that's for sure. Now who's is hi?
- 29:02Speaker 1: My name is Adrian, Adrian, what's up Adrian?
- 29:04Speaker 2: Now do you have a car that gives you the crane? Adrian?
- 29:06Speaker 8: Yes, it would be a cyber truck.
- 29:08Speaker 1: A cyber truck.
- 29:10Speaker 9: Really, I cannot, I cannot take you seriously if you
- 29:14Speaker 9: are driving a cyber truck.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Shout out to one of my best friends of meal
- 29:17Speaker 3: who drives a cyber truck. He's right now, so mad
- 29:19Speaker 3: in his in his cyber truck. That's probably self driving itself.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Now what makes you go? Oh, I can't, I can't
- 29:25Speaker 2: do it.
- 29:25Speaker 4: My girlfriend though, huh do you have a girlfriend.
- 29:28Speaker 2: He does have a beautiful fiance.
- 29:30Speaker 9: Okay, well you know, but he's a he's.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Rare, he's and that's not his only car either.
- 29:36Speaker 8: Okay, well he's doing probably not what he pis up
- 29:38Speaker 8: in the first date.
- 29:39Speaker 2: No, it's actually you're right, it's not. It's I know
- 29:42Speaker 2: that for a fact. It's not. So you might be
- 29:44Speaker 2: onto something. So oh that is good. Okay, cyber truck,
- 29:49Speaker 2: cyber truck, it is. Well, thank you so much. We
- 29:52Speaker 2: appreciate you. All right bye. Cyber truck is a good
- 29:55Speaker 2: one and you're seeing. I see so many of them.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Oh, no, Michelle is mad because I think she's offended
- 30:01Speaker 3: by something Pooh said.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Shocker, Michelle, how are you?
- 30:04Speaker 4: I'm okay. How are you?
- 30:05Speaker 2: What kind of car do you drive? I'm good? Thank you.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Well, I'm a mom now.
- 30:09Speaker 6: So have a Ford Explorer. But I was.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Offended when Pooh said that girls who drive Honda Civics
- 30:15Speaker 4: are strippers because I was in college getting my MBA
- 30:22Speaker 4: and I had a little Tudor Honda Civic coup.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Thank you very much, Pooh, I said, it's been my experience.
- 30:30Speaker 3: She was not at Silver City University. She was getting
- 30:34Speaker 3: her NBA. Yes, thank you, Michelle. Thank you for clearing
- 30:41Speaker 3: that up, because that was a ridiculous claim by Pooh.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Absolutely Mercedes, maybe Mercedes three hundred, yes, absolutely so all right, Michelle.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Thank you so much. Have a good day. Thanks you
- 30:55Speaker 2: see Brittany and Uless. Brittany, how are you good morning?
- 30:58Speaker 9: I'm good.
- 30:59Speaker 2: No, do you have a certain car that gives you
- 31:01Speaker 2: the cringe? Or what are your thoughts?
- 31:02Speaker 6: No?
- 31:03Speaker 9: So, I just got out of the dating game, and
- 31:06Speaker 9: it was a different dating game than what I remember,
- 31:09Speaker 9: like fifteen years ago, and I was happy just to
- 31:12Speaker 9: find a guy that had.
- 31:14Speaker 2: A car, really lifted truck or not.
- 31:18Speaker 8: You're like whatever, I was, Okay, I'll get a running start.
- 31:22Speaker 9: I've got to jump into it.
- 31:23Speaker 8: It's fine.
- 31:24Speaker 9: But my thing was as long as he doesn't show
- 31:27Speaker 9: up in his best friend's car or how does TLC
- 31:30Speaker 9: say it, like his best friend's ride hanging.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Out his best friend's ride from the passenger seat.
- 31:37Speaker 9: I don't want to have to do all the driving,
- 31:38Speaker 9: I put. I want to be the passenger princess.
- 31:42Speaker 8: Yeah, vehicle.
- 31:43Speaker 3: I can't believe that there's people out there trying to date.
- 31:46Speaker 3: I mean, how hard would it be to date in
- 31:47Speaker 3: a city like this that's.
- 31:49Speaker 2: You know, and not have a car? Wow?
- 31:52Speaker 9: Yeah, I just like, I don't know if that means
- 31:54Speaker 9: I have low standards. But all I need is him
- 31:56Speaker 9: to have a job, no criminal background history, a car,
- 32:01Speaker 9: and preferably he needs to like his family. That's not it.
- 32:04Speaker 9: I mean mine, So we're good.
- 32:06Speaker 8: We're good.
- 32:06Speaker 9: I got mine.
- 32:07Speaker 1: He's so good that makes me have.
- 32:09Speaker 2: A good for you. Well, thank you, Brinnan. I'm glad
- 32:11Speaker 2: you found the right one.
- 32:12Speaker 9: Thank you, guys. You have a great day.
- 32:14Speaker 3: You two BUYE just have a car. It's not too hard.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Oh no, we have an ultimate driver on the phone.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Yes, and hey, I work at a law firm.
- 32:22Speaker 9: I pay my taxes.
- 32:23Speaker 4: I take care of my mother who has dementia.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Oh no, you sound incredible, and well, hold on, what
- 32:31Speaker 2: year is your Ultima?
- 32:32Speaker 4: This is twenty twenty five. It's like a twenty twenty
- 32:36Speaker 4: I think.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Okay, okay, you're okay.
- 32:39Speaker 4: I bought it.
- 32:41Speaker 8: I bought it was used.
- 32:42Speaker 4: When I bought it, it was like a year old.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Well that's not bad. What road are you on right now?
- 32:47Speaker 4: I'm on Walnut headed towards Koit.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Okay, I'm just gonna warn every I mean, I'm gonna
- 32:51Speaker 2: tell everybody now.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Your new home of Philly. The kid in the morning
- 32:57Speaker 1: days hot.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Takes can't take of the day. I makes one two
- 33:00Speaker 2: point nine and get ready to get more cash.
- 33:01Speaker 3: By the way, pay your bills. I mean, setting you
- 33:03Speaker 3: up with so much money, thousands of dollars, your chance
- 33:06Speaker 3: to win. Will do it again around nine to twenty.
- 33:09Speaker 3: It's Billy a kid. Candicelopez is your producer.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Poo is here.
- 33:12Speaker 3: I should have brought Zan, our boss in if she's here.
- 33:14Speaker 3: I don't know if she's here yet. But I don't
- 33:16Speaker 3: know if I'll ever look at her the same. And
- 33:19Speaker 3: I think this tells a lot about your personality and
- 33:23Speaker 3: what kind of person you are. Is you're presented by
- 33:26Speaker 3: one scenario and depending on what you do, I can
- 33:29Speaker 3: tell a lot about you, your character, your.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Morals, everything about you.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Wow.
- 33:37Speaker 3: And yesterday she told me that somebody she was talking
- 33:40Speaker 3: to for quite a bit of time had something had
- 33:43Speaker 3: food on their face, and she didn't tell them.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Like I couldn't do it. I just
- 33:52Speaker 2: kept moving. I just I couldn't do it. No, it
- 33:54Speaker 2: was not used, not pooh, it was not me. It
- 33:56Speaker 2: was nobody here. But I thought, god, oh, this bothers
- 34:01Speaker 2: me so bad, so hot. Take of the day.
- 34:03Speaker 3: What do you do when somebody has food in their
- 34:06Speaker 3: teeth or food on their face? This is so simple
- 34:10Speaker 3: to me, Camps, What do you do?
- 34:12Speaker 2: And be honest?
- 34:13Speaker 1: I mean usually I just I didn't see nothing more nothing.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Why I hate this? Why would you not tell somebody
- 34:21Speaker 2: because it's more awkward? No I am the person.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Maybe they'll be like, oh, maybe no one saw it.
- 34:26Speaker 3: No, what we do We're sitting there staring at it.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm staring at the piece of broccoli
- 34:31Speaker 3: that you ate for lunch.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I'm sad I'm eating right now and now I don't
- 34:33Speaker 1: want to look at y'all.
- 34:34Speaker 3: You know what I'll do is I'll just give you
- 34:36Speaker 3: a little motion like hey, get something right here. I'm
- 34:38Speaker 3: not gonna draw attention. I'm not gonna be like, hey, everybody, stop,
- 34:40Speaker 3: she has some kale on her lip.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I'm not gonna do that. But I'm gonna be like, hey,
- 34:45Speaker 2: just right here.
- 34:46Speaker 1: If it's like two people, then you would tell them.
- 34:48Speaker 1: But what if it's like more people.
- 34:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna just go, hey, just right here so they
- 34:52Speaker 2: can go, oh yeah, play it all. I'm not gonna
- 34:55Speaker 2: be like, hey, you got something on your face. Billy's
- 34:57Speaker 2: quick to tell you, but pooh, what would you do?
- 35:00Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 35:03Speaker 5: But it's hard to to find the right time to
- 35:05Speaker 5: jump into the conversation and say something.
- 35:08Speaker 3: No, you do it right away, You do it right away.
- 35:10Speaker 3: You do it because the last thing I'm gonna do
- 35:12Speaker 3: like Zan. This poor person walked around with crumbs on
- 35:16Speaker 3: their face for the rest of the day because they
- 35:18Speaker 3: ran into Zan.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Then they ran into Kna.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Slowpez No, because no, I didn't see anybody.
- 35:25Speaker 2: It was a salesperson here. It was a salesperson here.
- 35:28Speaker 3: They walked around with barbecue on their face all day
- 35:32Speaker 3: because of Zan and then they the problem is they
- 35:34Speaker 3: run into one more person, you know, who has that
- 35:36Speaker 3: same mentality, and guess what, they don't tell them. Then
- 35:40Speaker 3: the next person doesn't tell them. Then all of a sudden,
- 35:42Speaker 3: work's done. They're out and about a happy hour, No
- 35:46Speaker 3: with barbecue on their face, just chilling.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you tell me you haven't catched a mirror all day.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I'm the person that's gonna tell you. I'm
- 35:54Speaker 3: not gonna let you walk around with a little boogie.
- 35:56Speaker 1: So you didn't wash your hands in the bathroom at
- 35:58Speaker 1: all and check yourself out.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Some people don't like looking in the mirror, like I
- 36:02Speaker 3: hate looking in the mirror, like I don't like looking
- 36:04Speaker 3: at me. So there's a good chance if something's on
- 36:06Speaker 3: my face, I might not know until the next day. Wow, okay,
- 36:10Speaker 3: until I shower.
- 36:11Speaker 5: I mean one day I was using this exact coffee
- 36:14Speaker 5: cup and it has like a lid that pops open,
- 36:16Speaker 5: and there was coffee right here, and it had touched
- 36:18Speaker 5: my nose and I had a brown line over the
- 36:21Speaker 5: thing over.
- 36:21Speaker 1: My nose right here and no one told me. See
- 36:24Speaker 1: I saw it on the camera.
- 36:25Speaker 2: And how stupid did you feel?
- 36:26Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 36:27Speaker 1: Really stupid.
- 36:27Speaker 2: But if I would have saw it, I would have
- 36:28Speaker 2: told you.
- 36:29Speaker 1: But you didn't see it, and you didn't tell me.
- 36:31Speaker 2: I didn't notice it. You had a brown line.
- 36:34Speaker 5: On your nose, this little exact cup right here, and
- 36:37Speaker 5: it touched my nose like that and made like a
- 36:38Speaker 5: coffee stain.
- 36:39Speaker 2: I mean, I thought it was I just thought it
- 36:41Speaker 2: was a freckle or beauty market maybe, but some of
- 36:43Speaker 2: your leftover foundation.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't know what it was, but I would
- 36:47Speaker 3: have told I would have told you. I would have
- 36:49Speaker 3: not let you walk around. And I think if you're
- 36:51Speaker 3: the person that doesn't tell anybody, you need to reevaluate
- 36:54Speaker 3: your right.
- 36:54Speaker 2: That's that's not a homie, that's not a friend. Don't
- 36:56Speaker 2: you need to get your life together? Hot Take of
- 36:58Speaker 2: the Day. It's mixed one two.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Point nine and be able at a kid Candice Lopez,
- 37:02Speaker 3: producer booth. Thank you so much for listening, for hanging
- 37:05Speaker 3: out with us today. We'll see you tomorrow and tomorrow
- 37:07Speaker 3: is Fridaday. Yeah, so that's always fun. Candice, What do
- 37:11Speaker 3: you got going on today?
- 37:12Speaker 2: What are you doing.
- 37:12Speaker 1: I think I need to get home in time. Because
- 37:14Speaker 1: we finished the closet renovation. Remember I was talking about that.
- 37:17Speaker 1: We started last week.
- 37:19Speaker 2: It's done.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Yeah, but now we have all the you.
- 37:22Speaker 5: Know closets that were in there before, like the shelves
- 37:25Speaker 5: and the rods and all that stuff, and then all
- 37:27Speaker 5: the cardboard from the new closet that we have to
- 37:29Speaker 5: set out this week. So Eric was like, yeah, we
- 37:31Speaker 5: should probably tip them on Thursday, you know, because all
- 37:34Speaker 5: the you know, sanitation workers that had to pick up
- 37:37Speaker 5: all of this cardboard yesterday at the shelves on Monday, hot.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Take, you're gonna tip the garbage man.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I mean, well he's done it before when we had
- 37:45Speaker 1: like folk.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Stuff, Like how much money did you give it?
- 37:47Speaker 1: You get money like twenty bucks. I think, wow, it
- 37:50Speaker 1: was a lot.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I mean I don't know. I've never tipped
- 37:54Speaker 3: my garbage and now I feel bad.
- 37:56Speaker 1: No, maybe we don't need to. I don't know.
- 37:58Speaker 3: I'm not saying it's not a nice thing to do.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Not like some Gatoraids on hot days and stuff.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we've given the drinks.
- 38:03Speaker 2: But given them just straight cash.
- 38:05Speaker 5: I mean, we had a stash like a stall a
- 38:08Speaker 5: tall stack of cardboard yesterday.
- 38:10Speaker 2: So much money talks.
- 38:12Speaker 3: I mean, I just I'm going through this right now
- 38:13Speaker 3: with my postal worker because I don't I say postal
- 38:15Speaker 3: worker because I don't know if it's a male man
- 38:17Speaker 3: or a male woman.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because I'm.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Terrified of them, so I don't look at them. I
- 38:21Speaker 3: don't see them. I try to avoid them. And I
- 38:23Speaker 3: hate checking my mail. So I wrote a note to
- 38:26Speaker 3: my postal worker and said, I'm sorry for making your
- 38:29Speaker 3: life harder and never checking my mail, but I hate
- 38:31Speaker 3: it gives me anxiety. Here's some treats, and I give
- 38:34Speaker 3: them a Specs gift card.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Oh see, well maybe I should do that, leave a
- 38:37Speaker 1: gift card.
- 38:38Speaker 3: But now I'm kind of hoping to get a note back.
- 38:40Speaker 3: And if I don't get a note back, I feel
- 38:41Speaker 3: like I'm going to be offended.
- 38:42Speaker 2: What do you want to you don't even check?
- 38:45Speaker 3: No, I'm going to start, That's what I'm saying. I'm
- 38:47Speaker 3: going to try to start checking my mail every day.
- 38:49Speaker 3: I know this sounds like a little thing, but I
- 38:51Speaker 3: hate checking the mail with every fiber in my body.
- 38:54Speaker 5: Oll they respond with a question, and then you guys
- 38:57Speaker 5: daily go back and forth, and that's how they get
- 38:58Speaker 5: you to check your mail, because you to see what
- 39:00Speaker 5: they said back every day.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Like a little pen pal.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yes, i'd be cute a new friend. Yeah, a new buddy. Okay, good, well,
- 39:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna look forward to that. I'll let you know tomorrow.
- 39:10Speaker 2: What are you doing.
- 39:11Speaker 7: I'm gonna go to Dennis. My crown came off. No, yeah,
- 39:15Speaker 7: in the bag yesterday I was I was big backing
- 39:17Speaker 7: with my son.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Wow, I did eat my chicken fried rice and
- 39:20Speaker 2: I was like, wait, is that what it did?
- 39:26Speaker 1: Y ranchers.
- 39:27Speaker 3: I was just about to say, you know what, tell
- 39:29Speaker 3: your dennist the truth that you live off of sour
- 39:32Speaker 3: patch kids.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Oh, here we go. That you put in the freezer
- 39:35Speaker 2: and you eat them when they're rock hard.
- 39:37Speaker 4: Oh.
- 39:37Speaker 2: I don't know why my crown fell off, but I
- 39:39Speaker 2: wouldn't need sour California rolling chicken fried rice. You didn't
- 39:45Speaker 2: eat any candy yesterday?
- 39:47Speaker 1: Yeah you did?
- 39:48Speaker 4: Oh?
- 39:48Speaker 2: Yeah I did. I had a twig cannas quick to ratch.
- 39:51Speaker 2: You saw me twigs and the freezer? No it was
- 39:55Speaker 2: it was out of the drawer. Yeah, I got a
- 39:59Speaker 2: little stash. You have a handy drawer back here, just
- 40:02Speaker 2: for emergencies. What kind of emergency requires candy? But you
- 40:07Speaker 2: know I'm hungry sometimes I'll tell you what kinds.
- 40:09Speaker 5: Where a fork was and he was like, oh yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 5: over and there in the cabinet and I opened it
- 40:15Speaker 5: was all.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Sour pat.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Fork.
- 40:22Speaker 2: It wasn't Halloween. It would be there, trust me,
