- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Mix 100.
- 0:04Speaker 3: I got good news for the coffee drinkers this morning,
- 0:07Speaker 3: as you're probably getting ready to head off to work
- 0:08Speaker 3: and school.
- 0:10Speaker 4: The Old American.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Heart Association is saying that about five cups of coffee
- 0:16Speaker 3: a day is still within the safe range for most adults.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Katie, have you blown past that this morning?
- 0:25Speaker 1: I think I'm pretty close to it, honestly. Yeah, this
- 0:28Speaker 1: is probably at the end of this will be cup five.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Good for me then, right? It's good for your heart.
- 0:35Speaker 3: They say that people who drink that much coffee have
- 0:38Speaker 3: a lower risk of stroke and a lower risk of
- 0:41Speaker 3: developing the diabetes. But there's one caveat. I don't know
- 0:46Speaker 3: how much crap you put in it. But this is
- 0:50Speaker 3: saying it only applies to coffee itself. So when you
- 0:53Speaker 3: start loading it up with all that sugar and syrup.
- 0:57Speaker 1: What about maple syrup? Is that okay?
- 0:59Speaker 5: Like the real maple syrup. I think you're probably fine.
- 1:03Speaker 5: I've switched to the blue agave.
- 1:05Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Which is just a more natural sweetener.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:08Speaker 1: See?
- 1:10Speaker 3: Says my Instagram health plan. I think that's probably fine.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It's the people like my wife.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Bless her heart. Who go and dump the, you know,
- 1:22Speaker 4: hazelnut in there. The vanilla.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Caramel.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Caramel. Glug, glug, glug, glug. Then she, oh, it needs more. Glug, glug, glug, glug.
- 1:33Speaker 3: But that truly is kind of like her only vice
- 1:35Speaker 3: is the flavored coffee creamer. Let her have it. It's
- 1:38Speaker 3: what she's got, you know? Mama's busy. It's the one
- 1:41Speaker 3: little perk in her life. But I will say she
- 1:43Speaker 3: tries to get like the oat milk variety or something
- 1:46Speaker 3: that's slightly better, I guess.
- 1:48Speaker 1: She's trying.
- 1:49Speaker 7: Yeah, I guess.
- 1:50Speaker 1: She's trying.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I had a coffee fail this morning, and it kind
- 1:54Speaker 3: of instantly pissed me off.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Oh. Probably more than it should have. What happened?
- 1:59Speaker 3: So generally every night I get the coffee maker ready,
- 2:01Speaker 3: you know, the water's in it, the grounds are there
- 2:06Speaker 3: in the little thing in the cup ready to rock,
- 2:08Speaker 3: so I just come downstairs and boom, fire it up.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Well, last night I got it all ready, got the
- 2:12Speaker 4: water in it, all that crap. Come downstairs. I fired
- 2:15Speaker 4: it up, went and started doing a few things.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And then I came back and I poured myself my
- 2:19Speaker 3: cup of coffee. And it was like it just looked
- 2:22Speaker 3: like really like light colored, dirty water. There was like
- 2:27Speaker 3: no color, dark coffee color to it. I was like,
- 2:29Speaker 3: what the hell is going on? And I opened it up,
- 2:32Speaker 3: the little basket, and I forgot to put the coffee
- 2:34Speaker 3: in it.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It was just brown water.
- 2:36Speaker 4: And my mouth was all ready, and I was tired.
- 2:38Speaker 4: And I was like, instantly set me off. I was
- 2:40Speaker 4: like pissed for the next 45 minutes. You have to
- 2:43Speaker 4: grind your coffee and everything, right?
- 2:45Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:45Speaker 1: So it's like that whole step is a mad step now.
- 2:49Speaker 4: You're like, oh, it takes forever. So hopefully Friday gets
- 2:53Speaker 4: a little better for me.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It will.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Isn't it funny when little things like that set you off?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Oh, especially first thing, because you have your routine.
- 2:59Speaker 3: So I was tailgating people all the way into work.
- 3:01Speaker 4: I was flipping people off.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Take it out on them, right?
- 3:04Speaker 4: I shoved an intern down already this morning.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I can do it, chair.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Damn you, Folgers. It's time for a big 100 sports report.
- 3:18Speaker 8: All right.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Uh, your Denver Broncos are playing a little sports ball
- 3:22Speaker 3: tonight with the hut huts and the flea flickers.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Um, Vikings tonight, I believe, uh, mile high. Uh, it
- 3:29Speaker 4: should be fun. Bo's not playing. It sounds like a
- 3:32Speaker 4: few of the starters might. It doesn't matter. Um, My
- 3:36Speaker 4: neighbor across the street is a massive Vikings fan. Massive.
- 3:39Speaker 4: And I believe he's got a horn, so we'll probably
- 3:41Speaker 4: hear that later.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Oh, is he going to be like, score, Vikings! I
- 3:46Speaker 1: grew up in North Dakota. It's all Packers or Vikings.
- 3:49Speaker 1: So I know a lot of people who bleed purple.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, he's always into his Vikings gear. His email
- 3:57Speaker 3: handle is something about Vikings.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Yeah, he's into it. So he'll be into it tonight. No,
- 4:02Speaker 4: go Broncos.
- 4:03Speaker 9: Go Broncos.
- 4:03Speaker 7: Hut, hut, hut, hut, hut, hut.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Speaking of the NFL, I guess they've officially put a
- 4:10Speaker 3: bullet in the Pro Bowl game.
- 4:14Speaker 4: They're not going to do it anymore.
- 4:15Speaker 1: What?
- 4:15Speaker 3: Players are still going to vote on and recognize 88
- 4:19Speaker 3: Pro Bowlers, but there will no longer be an AFC
- 4:23Speaker 3: versus NFC game anymore, mostly because, well, viewership has fallen.
- 4:29Speaker 3: A couple years ago, it was like 7 million viewers,
- 4:31Speaker 3: and it dropped to like 2 million.
- 4:33Speaker 8: This has been such a long time coming. I mean,
- 4:34Speaker 8: they turned it into a flag football game. It's the
- 4:37Speaker 8: dumbest thing ever.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Shannon Sharpe's out speaking about it because he says he
- 4:40Speaker 3: blames today's players. They essentially argue so much and they
- 4:44Speaker 3: have stopped taking the game seriously.
- 4:47Speaker 4: They all have destroyed it. So no more Pro Bowl.
- 4:50Speaker 4: That's fine. I didn't watch it anyway. And then finally,
- 4:53Speaker 4: Tom Brady. Listen to this.
- 4:55Speaker 3: He opened a trading card store in California earlier this month,
- 5:00Speaker 3: and within a week, it was robbed.
- 5:03Speaker 4: It's the card vault.
- 5:04Speaker 3: It opened on the 15th, and on the 23rd, somebody
- 5:07Speaker 3: smashed the window and stole more than $ 12, 000 of merch. Now,
- 5:13Speaker 3: he's also got one of these in New York City
- 5:15Speaker 3: as well, and that one got robbed with about $ 10, 000
- 5:18Speaker 3: worth of merch being stolen in that incident.
- 5:21Speaker 2: What?
- 5:21Speaker 4: Somebody's got to beef with Tom Brady.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now.
- 5:24Speaker 8: Or his ex-wives.
- 5:25Speaker 1: He needs to up his security.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I know, right?
- 5:28Speaker 1: He doesn't have the money for it.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Anyway, so he's in the card game now.
- 5:33Speaker 7: Why not?
- 5:34Speaker 4: Doesn't he have anything else to do, this guy?
- 5:36Speaker 1: He's part owner of the Raiders. You'd think he'd be
- 5:38Speaker 1: doing more.
- 5:38Speaker 4: All right, what else is there?
- 5:40Speaker 8: All right, well, summer is coming to an end, and
- 5:42Speaker 8: so what else is there to do but make a
- 5:44Speaker 8: list of the funniest collegiate teams and their mascots some
- 5:48Speaker 8: of these are hilarious i've never even heard of the
- 5:50Speaker 8: university of delaware the flight the fighting blue hens how
- 5:53Speaker 8: is that scary at all you see santa cruz the
- 5:57Speaker 8: banana slugs hey go banana slugs we love you their
- 6:01Speaker 8: mascot is a literal slug there are some more the
- 6:04Speaker 8: wake forest what is these the uh The Blue Hose.
- 6:08Speaker 4: H-O-S-E. H-O-S-E. That was Katie's nickname in high school. The
- 6:12Speaker 4: Blue Hose. She ate a lot of blueberries.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Wild.
- 6:15Speaker 4: We have more.
- 6:16Speaker 8: The Ant Eaters. That one is the Ant Eaters. Like,
- 6:19Speaker 8: what is going on? What do you think University of California,
- 6:21Speaker 8: Irvine is coming up with crazy nicknames like that?
- 6:24Speaker 4: The Billikens. Which is St.
- 6:27Speaker 8: Louis University. A Billiken is a charm doll that looks
- 6:30Speaker 8: like a cross between a monkey and a troll, Katie.
- 6:32Speaker 9: Oh.
- 6:32Speaker 8: That's what a Billiken is.
- 6:34Speaker 4: It's like your profile picture. Hey, go poets.
- 6:37Speaker 8: We love you guys. Go poets. Like, what is this?
- 6:40Speaker 8: And then my favorite of all time is Centurion College
- 6:44Speaker 8: of Louisiana. The gentlemen's team and the ladies team.
- 6:48Speaker 1: That's it?
- 6:49Speaker 8: That's all they have.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Every ladies team is the ladies. It sounds classy.
- 6:52Speaker 8: Every men's team is the gentlemen's team.
- 6:54Speaker 4: That's one I'm on board with.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Pinkies up, right? All day. The ladies are playing today.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Go ladies.
- 7:01Speaker 7: We've got drama.
- 7:02Speaker 1: We've got Denver talking.
- 7:04Speaker 4: It's the Mile High Hype.
- 7:05Speaker 10: With JKJ.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Legends and icons.
- 7:08Speaker 1: On Mix 100. Yeah, it's the.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Hype brought to you by Mountain High Appliance, where you

- 7:20Speaker 3: Just go to mountainhighappliance.com.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Side note before we get into the Hype. One of
- 7:25Speaker 4: my most favorite things we do in the studio is
- 7:27Speaker 4: when Katie and I are talking about things.
- 7:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 3: It's a fun little game that we play, and it's
- 7:32Speaker 3: called Was Josh Even Born Yet?
- 7:34Speaker 4: He was three, we found out. Okay, all right. Josh
- 7:38Speaker 4: was three when Practical Magic came out.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yes.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Huge fan.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Next week, we're giving away tickets to go see Practical
- 7:44Speaker 3: Magic 2 during Katie Crush.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'm so excited about that. Yes.
- 7:48Speaker 4: So yes, he was.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 4: And he was three.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Little baby toddler Josh.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Oh, boy.
- 7:52Speaker 3: All right, so CNN is apologizing because they mistakenly aired
- 7:56Speaker 3: a photo of a Dolly Parton impersonator from Las Vegas
- 8:01Speaker 3: instead of the real Dolly during some sort of special
- 8:05Speaker 3: tribute on Tuesday night. They say we regret the error
- 8:09Speaker 3: and apologize to the Parton family.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Probably somebody Josh's age putting together the reel for all that, right?
- 8:16Speaker 4: It was her.
- 8:17Speaker 1: They probably ran it through AI, thought they were good.
- 8:19Speaker 3: The impersonator said, I started getting all these texts from
- 8:23Speaker 3: friends saying.
- 8:24Speaker 4: That I was on CNN and I couldn't believe it. Yeah,
- 8:28Speaker 4: honest mistake. I saw the picture. She looks like a.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Total Dolly Parton impersonator. So if you're not familiar with
- 8:34Speaker 3: the original, the OG DP.
- 8:36Speaker 4: I can see that mistake.
- 8:38Speaker 3: In CNN's defense, though, didn't Dolly Parton enter a Dolly
- 8:42Speaker 3: Parton lookalike contest at one point and she lost?
- 8:45Speaker 1: And she lost. Yeah, exactly. So a lot of people
- 8:48Speaker 1: look like Dolly, even more than her.
- 8:50Speaker 4: So you know what? Honest mistake.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Speaking of DP, there is a petition right now at change.org saying,
- 8:56Speaker 3: calling for Nashville International Airport to be renamed Dolly Parton
- 9:01Speaker 3: International Airport. It has surged past 128,000 signatures. Originally kind
- 9:08Speaker 3: of a joke from a comedian, but now it's really
- 9:11Speaker 3: getting some legs. Tennessee State Senator, I say, I say,
- 9:16Speaker 3: Todd Warner has pledged to introduce legislation supporting the name change.
- 9:22Speaker 3: And Nashville City Council member Russ Bradford, whoever the hell
- 9:26Speaker 3: that is, announced that he would sponsor a resolution asking
- 9:30Speaker 3: the Metro Nashville Airport Authority to... to consider renaming the airport.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'd be all for it. Why not? I am 100%
- 9:38Speaker 1: on board with this, and I would go out of
- 9:41Speaker 1: my way to fly into Dolly Parton Airport.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Right. I know. Did you fly into Dolly today?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Sure did.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Sheryl Crow is out and about saying, yes, this needs
- 9:50Speaker 3: to happen. She's got nothing else to do right now.
- 9:54Speaker 3: There is some sort of law, a bylaw or something
- 9:57Speaker 3: out there, they say, that is written in into their
- 10:00Speaker 3: legislation that is prohibiting renaming a facility for someone unless
- 10:05Speaker 3: they've been dead for at least two years.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Oh, that's silly. We don't need that rule to stand.
- 10:09Speaker 3: The airport said, hey, we honored Parton by lighting our
- 10:12Speaker 3: parking garages pink throughout the weekend.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Oh, that's the same.
- 10:16Speaker 10: Yeah, exactly.
- 10:17Speaker 4: That's real nice.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Do you see also the story about the latest hurricane.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Is Hurricane Dolly.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Now that just happened. It didn't, you know, they didn't
- 10:27Speaker 1: plan on naming it Dolly, but yeah.
- 10:29Speaker 4: No time, man.
- 10:30Speaker 11: No time.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Six Flags Magic Mountain X2 roller coaster has been closed
- 10:36Speaker 3: since the beginning of July because two women suffered brain
- 10:40Speaker 3: hemorrhages within six days of riding it. Three neurosurgeons confirmed
- 10:45Speaker 3: that the injuries were caused by traumatic rapid acceleration and
- 10:49Speaker 3: deceleration on the ride. They say that the damage is
- 10:53Speaker 3: typically associated with high-speed collisions.
- 10:57Speaker 4: The second rider is in a coma.
- 10:59Speaker 9: What?
- 11:00Speaker 4: That can happen?
- 11:01Speaker 3: They did an investigation, and they uncovered over a dozen
- 11:05Speaker 3: injury reports linked to the X2 coaster, two of them
- 11:08Speaker 3: being fatal. Plus, 70 head and neck complaints logged between
- 11:15Speaker 3: 29 and 22. Six Flags is saying, though, this ride
- 11:19Speaker 3: still meets safety regulations.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Does it, though?
- 11:22Speaker 3: And they declined to address the July incidents.
- 11:25Speaker 4: As of right now, the ride does remain closed. Good.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Yeah, they might want to rethink that ride if they're
- 11:30Speaker 3: getting this many issues on it.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And really, the story of everything's fine, people are buying that?
- 11:36Speaker 1: There's a woman in a coma!
- 11:37Speaker 9: What?
- 11:38Speaker 3: Typically associated with high-speed collisions.
- 11:40Speaker 4: It's like riding in the car with my wife, honestly.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Rapid acceleration and deceleration.
- 11:46Speaker 3: And real quick, fans of our girl Olivia Rodrigo, you're
- 11:49Speaker 3: going to like this. She's partnered with Taco Bell for
- 11:52Speaker 3: a brand-new Baja Blast flavor. It is called You Seem
- 11:57Speaker 3: Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast.
- 12:02Speaker 4: I'm not ordering that. It's too long to say.
- 12:03Speaker 7: I know.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Exactly right.
- 12:05Speaker 3: It's the OG Baja Blast with pink lemonade in it.
- 12:08Speaker 3: It's going to come in a custom cup with Olivia's
- 12:10Speaker 3: photo on it. Yet another reason I probably won't order this.
- 12:13Speaker 4: That would taste.
- 12:14Speaker 8: Probably good, though.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 1: And people will absolutely eat that up.
- 12:17Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Because, you know, fat America. Get in my belly!
- 12:21Speaker 1: You like my bike, Jer?
- 12:23Speaker 4: What? That's right. What else you got?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Hey, this is good news for Colorado. The Colorado Lotto
- 12:27Speaker 1: Plus Jackpot. Somebody won it right here in Colorado. It
- 12:31Speaker 1: happened at the King Soopers in Conifer. They hit it
- 12:34Speaker 1: really big, too. It was a $ 10. 5 million prize. The
- 12:38Speaker 1: cash out for that, $ 5. 2 million.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Good.
- 12:40Speaker 1: That's a chunk of change.
- 12:42Speaker 4: You know what's funny?
- 12:43Speaker 3: I was at my Safeway last night, and I was
- 12:45Speaker 3: standing there at self-checkout, and I was talking to the
- 12:48Speaker 3: woman there, and this guy goes walking by, and she goes, hey,
- 12:51Speaker 3: there he is.
- 12:52Speaker 4: I was like, okay, they must be dating or something.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:56Speaker 4: And she looked at me and she said, that guy
- 12:58Speaker 4: just won Powerball. I was like, really?
- 13:00Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, we got a call from the lottery
- 13:02Speaker 3: that said somebody had won a ticket, had a winning
- 13:04Speaker 3: ticket from our Safeway store.
- 13:06Speaker 4: She's like, and it.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Turns out it was the dude that works back there
- 13:09Speaker 3: in the deli. He bought a ticket there and he
- 13:11Speaker 3: won $ 50, 000.
- 13:12Speaker 9: Oh.
- 13:13Speaker 1: No way.
- 13:14Speaker 4: So I was like, way to go, buddy. And I
- 13:15Speaker 4: was like, that's a lot of cash. I go, not
- 13:17Speaker 4: enough to quit, though, huh? And he's like, nope, I'm
- 13:19Speaker 4: still here. But yeah, I was like, how neat is that? Like,
- 13:23Speaker 4: you buy a ticket at your Safeway, and then you win.
- 13:25Speaker 4: You got to keep working there.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Make you want to keep working. I mean, that would
- 13:29Speaker 1: make me like my job more.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 13:31Speaker 1: If I won a $ 50, 000 prize there. Good for you, buddy. Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Slice me sideways, huh?
- 13:36Speaker 10: There we go.
- 13:37Speaker 9: All right.
- 13:37Speaker 1: So, again, congratulations to that lucky person. And, hey, more
- 13:42Speaker 1: good news for Colorado. We are smart and pretty.
- 13:44Speaker 9: Okay.
- 13:45Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 1: A couple studies showing Denver's doing okay. So, WalletHub. did
- 13:49Speaker 1: the smartest cities in America. They did, I think, 150
- 13:53Speaker 1: largest metro statistical areas, comparing them across 11 key metrics.
- 13:59Speaker 1: So they looked at people who had at least a
- 14:01Speaker 1: bachelor's degree, the quality of the public school system, and
- 14:04Speaker 1: the size of the gender education gap. All of these
- 14:07Speaker 1: things were included. So Denver, we got to number 12.
- 14:12Speaker 4: We're number 12.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Barely missing the top 10, and then Colorado Springs coming in.
- 14:16Speaker 1: That's as high as we can count. At number 13.
- 14:19Speaker 1: That's a good 150 different cities. So number 12, that's
- 14:21Speaker 1: a pretty good look. And again, Colorado Springs, number 13.
- 14:25Speaker 1: And we are also very fit. In America's most... cities.
- 14:29Speaker 1: This one was done by the 2026 American College of
- 14:32Speaker 1: Sports Medicine's American Fitness Index. No, we are. Have you
- 14:35Speaker 1: looked around the rest of the country? Come on.
- 14:39Speaker 4: I'm starting to not believe that.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I was just at a very popular location here in
- 14:45Speaker 3: town and I.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Don't want to be mean. Don't be mean.
- 14:50Speaker 1: You know what you need to do? Go over to
- 14:53Speaker 1: Wash Park and watch those people run around it. Those
- 14:55Speaker 1: are the most fittest people I've ever... They could bounce
- 14:58Speaker 1: a quarter off those buns. I'm telling you.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I got to give me a roll of quarters.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm telling you. They are so in shape out
- 15:04Speaker 1: at Wash Park and in Denver. That's what this looked at.
- 15:07Speaker 1: So Denver in this study, number five, according to the
- 15:11Speaker 1: Fit Level.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Most fittest.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So that is really good. Aurora, number 31, if you
- 15:15Speaker 1: can believe it or not. And then Colorado Springs, 40th
- 15:19Speaker 1: on that list. So they're looking at access to parks,
- 15:22Speaker 1: recreation facilities, bike lanes, public spaces, all that stuff.
- 15:25Speaker 4: But also.
- 15:26Speaker 1: physical activity, smoking rates, and diet. So they looked at
- 15:30Speaker 1: all of those things when they did this study. So
- 15:32Speaker 1: we're pretty... And we're smart. I love that. Okay, moving on.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And an Adams County firefighter is a hero in more
- 15:40Speaker 1: ways than one today. They responded to a call to
- 15:42Speaker 1: rescue a little kitten from a well yesterday morning. Oh,
- 15:45Speaker 1: he's stuck in a well, the little kitten. They were
- 15:48Speaker 1: able to save it and bring him to a local
- 15:51Speaker 1: animal shelter. But the best part about this story warms
- 15:54Speaker 1: my heart. One of the firefighters adopted that little kitty.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I know, he's five weeks old. Everyone lived happily ever after. Oh,
- 16:04Speaker 1: I love it. So yeah, firefighters saving the day and
- 16:07Speaker 1: becoming a little kitty mama. Love it. There you go.
- 16:10Speaker 1: There's my.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Hype.
- 16:15Speaker 3: What dress did you finally pick out? Katie came in
- 16:18Speaker 3: the other day with like nine dresses on her phone.
- 16:20Speaker 4: I did.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I did. And I bought one and then I brought
- 16:22Speaker 1: it back and bought a different one. And last night
- 16:25Speaker 1: I had a little fashion show for the baby Nana.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I sent her a bunch of pictures and which one
- 16:29Speaker 1: she liked best. And funny enough, she liked the same
- 16:32Speaker 1: one you both liked. The brown one?
- 16:34Speaker 4: The polka dot.
- 16:35Speaker 1: No, no, no. Not the polka dot. The brown one.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I like the polka dot one.
- 16:38Speaker 1: No, you like the brown one, too, though. You said
- 16:40Speaker 1: you liked how- The front pockets? Yeah, the front pockets.
- 16:43Speaker 1: So that's what I have because it goes better- It
- 16:45Speaker 1: covers the cleave, too. Yeah, and it goes better with
- 16:47Speaker 1: the red heels I'm wearing. So it's- Right. You know,
- 16:51Speaker 1: all in all, the better pick. And then I have
- 16:53Speaker 1: a fancy little purse that I'm wearing. I love it.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I love it. I'm very excited.
- 16:58Speaker 3: I did like that polka dot one, though. The polka
- 17:00Speaker 3: dot one just kind of was fun. It's Elitch's kind of,
- 17:03Speaker 3: you know, silly little night out.
- 17:05Speaker 4: It was fun. But I do like the brown one.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I like the brown one much better.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I'm weird.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's a lot more like adult, I feel.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Yeah, it was very classy. It's a classy looking dress.
- 17:15Speaker 4: I like Cleve. Little Cleve never hurt anybody.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I never hurt nobody. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 3: But there is something about those dresses that just start
- 17:22Speaker 3: right under your neck right there and go down and
- 17:25Speaker 3: cover the cleave that I find incredibly attractive.
- 17:27Speaker 8: Very classy.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I feel like also there's not a limit because you
- 17:31Speaker 1: can dress however the heck you want. Sure. And when
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'm looking at it, I liked that I'm showing off
- 17:36Speaker 1: my legs a little bit, showing off the arms, but
- 17:38Speaker 1: covering up the rest, right?
- 17:39Speaker 4: It's a little more professional, I guess.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Because you're around work people, too.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm around work people. Don't want to be getting.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Everyone all fired up. Well, I can't wait to see it.
- 17:47Speaker 1: What are you guys wearing?
- 17:48Speaker 4: I got a SpongeBob t-shirt that I'm going to rock tonight.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Oh, let's go.
- 17:52Speaker 4: You know it's fall because, well, Starby's just, well, fall soon,
- 17:57Speaker 4: because Starby's dropped their PSL this week. It's back.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 3: I'm reading a story here that came out from Google.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Google searches for, quote, when do pumpkin spice lattes come out?
- 18:10Speaker 4: We're up 510% on the Google box.
- 18:14Speaker 3: And they say it has been searched more than ever
- 18:17Speaker 3: before this year. Pumpkin Spice Latte is also the top
- 18:21Speaker 3: trending latte search in the U.S., followed by Banana Bread Latte,
- 18:27Speaker 3: Peanut Butter Latte, and Hazelnut Latte. They say Pumpkin Spice
- 18:31Speaker 3: searches start peaking earlier and earlier and earlier every year.
- 18:36Speaker 3: But on the heels of that, you know, I just
- 18:38Speaker 3: said the Banana Bread Latte. There's also Banana Coffee Syrup
- 18:42Speaker 3: that has been searched. And caramel apple iced coffee. Both
- 18:46Speaker 3: hit all-time highs this month. But I will say, bananas
- 18:50Speaker 3: having a moment right now.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 4: There's a lot of banana stuff going on.
- 18:53Speaker 1: People are loving the banana latte, especially. And there's all
- 18:57Speaker 1: kinds of recipes all over TikTok for it. And in fact,
- 19:00Speaker 1: even as you mentioned, Starby's there. They have a banana
- 19:03Speaker 1: forward fall menu.
- 19:07Speaker 4: I love banana bread as well.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Exactly. And I like it because they say you can
- 19:11Speaker 1: crush up walnuts and put it on top. So you
- 19:14Speaker 1: can really get it tasting like banana. I know you
- 19:17Speaker 1: don't like chocolate chips in your banana bread.
- 19:19Speaker 3: I don't like anything crunchy in my banana bread or
- 19:21Speaker 3: anything really sweet like that.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 1: So some of the options have the chocolate flavor in
- 19:26Speaker 1: there as well. But Either way, the banana option, I
- 19:30Speaker 1: love it. I love it. I love the pumpkin spice one, too,
- 19:34Speaker 1: so I like that we're just adding to the menu now.
- 19:36Speaker 4: Like, let's keep this going. Sometimes I just actually just
- 19:38Speaker 4: have a regular banana.
- 19:39Speaker 8: Oh.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Believe it or not.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Look at you.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Speaking of fall, you've got this list about the fall
- 19:44Speaker 3: fashion trends, and I feel like this is a must
- 19:46Speaker 3: read yeah because we got a lot of ladies listening
- 19:48Speaker 3: to the show we sure do and a lot of
- 19:50Speaker 3: fashion forward ladies out there as well so what should
- 19:53Speaker 3: we be looking for this fall trench.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Coats no i can't wait till i roll in here
- 19:59Speaker 1: in my trench coat and completely hey you.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Guys wow that's only yeah that's.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Only for creepers right underneath With clothes on underneath. But
- 20:06Speaker 1: I've always wanted to open my trench coat and just
- 20:09Speaker 1: like scare somebody. So yeah, fall 2026, expect trench coats
- 20:15Speaker 1: for both men and women.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Full length or the mini trench?
- 20:19Speaker 1: For the women, I think the full length is so...
- 20:22Speaker 1: Just sassy. I love the look of a full-length trench coat.
- 20:26Speaker 1: For guys, I think it's the mid-knee trench coat. That's
- 20:32Speaker 1: the solid look right there.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Can I pull it off with a pea coat? The
- 20:35Speaker 4: pea coat kind of goes down that far. I don't know.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Do the trench coat. That's the look this fall. Also,
- 20:42Speaker 1: earth-toned denim. So, you know, your jeans, your regular jeans.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I wore those yesterday.
- 20:47Speaker 4: I had like some brownish jeans.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Yes, brown jeans, green jeans, tan jeans, all those earth tones.
- 20:53Speaker 1: They're really making a comeback for this next upcoming season.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I'm a fan as well. It's going to go perfect
- 20:58Speaker 1: with your suede sneakers, which is also a good look.
- 21:02Speaker 1: And that has been trending pretty hard for the last
- 21:04Speaker 1: few seasons. So expected to come back even more. And
- 21:07Speaker 1: then the last one, I love this. chocolate brown bag.
- 21:12Speaker 1: So think of your, you know, Kate Spade, your coach,
- 21:15Speaker 1: but that nice deep chocolate brown color to go with
- 21:20Speaker 1: your trench coat and your suede sneakers.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I just bought a white Kate Spade for myself. Damn,
- 21:24Speaker 4: I guess I better take that back.
- 21:26Speaker 9: I know.
- 21:26Speaker 4: And my white jeans. My off-white jeans.
- 21:28Speaker 1: No more white. Not this season. But I like this.
- 21:31Speaker 8: That's good.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I've always been a fan of the tan-like shirts. You
- 21:35Speaker 1: know what I mean? Like the tan and the white.
- 21:38Speaker 1: And I just love those basic colors. So the fact
- 21:41Speaker 1: that they're going to be so poppin' this season, I'm
- 21:44Speaker 1: already ready already. Love it. Love it.
- 21:48Speaker 12: Okay.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Can I just dress as a chocolate bar?
- 21:51Speaker 1: You know I love that too.
- 21:52Speaker 3: We got a spirit Halloween store opening up just down
- 21:57Speaker 3: the way. I think I'm going to just dress as
- 21:58Speaker 3: a chocolate bar. I'm very in season.
- 22:01Speaker 7: Yes.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Very chocolate brown. Matches my underpants as well.
- 22:05Speaker 9: Oh, ew.
- 22:06Speaker 8: Ew.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Ew chair.
- 22:07Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys knew this or not,
- 22:09Speaker 3: but I'm pretty big into the spice scene.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Are you?
- 22:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm part of a bunch of Reddit groups where
- 22:15Speaker 3: we talk about spices, and we trade spices and stuff.
- 22:19Speaker 4: It's a whole club. It's a lifestyle.
- 22:22Speaker 1: It's your nickname, Spice Guy.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Spice Guy. You know, Mr. Spicy. I'm at Spice Guy
- 22:27Speaker 4: on Instagram, which I should look that up now to
- 22:31Speaker 4: make sure that's nothing naughty.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I know, right?
- 22:32Speaker 4: Because this is all very tongue-in-cheek right now. It's all
- 22:35Speaker 4: Spice Guy, some sort of horrible person.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Watch Spice Guy.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Yeah, but no, I'm pretty tapped into the spice scene.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:41Speaker 4: I talk a lot. I speak at schools about it.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I love spices.
- 22:45Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 7: I'm a fan.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't cook without them. Watch me with my
- 22:48Speaker 4: garlic powder. Watch out.
- 22:49Speaker 3: I always keep a handful of garlic powder in my
- 22:51Speaker 3: front pocket in case I'm being mugged or something on
- 22:54Speaker 3: the street, and I throw it at the perp.
- 22:56Speaker 4: Yeah. Right in the eyes.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Also for vampires.
- 22:59Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I know.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Absolutely. You're prepared. It's very important.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 4: This is stuff we talk about in our chat groups.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Well, I was up there at Colorado State University talking
- 23:08Speaker 3: to some of the researchers up there, and we were
- 23:11Speaker 3: chatting about whether or not our hot, dry summers here
- 23:16Speaker 3: in Colorado, paired with our cold winters, could make this big,
- 23:21Speaker 3: goofy rectangle we live in the ideal place to grow saffron.
- 23:25Speaker 1: What?
- 23:25Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Saffron. Saffron.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I want to do that.
- 23:29Speaker 4: You're like me. I was like, saffron?
- 23:30Speaker 1: Tell me more. I want to be a saffron farmer.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Really?
- 23:32Speaker 1: They call it.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Red gold because how labor intensive it is to produce.
- 23:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Current market prices for saffron is about $ 10, 000 per pound
- 23:41Speaker 3: of it.
- 23:44Speaker 1: It's hard to keep alive. I can't keep an air
- 23:46Speaker 1: plant alive.
- 23:47Speaker 3: So you got to dig deep into the agriculture with this.
- 23:52Speaker 3: But Colorado might be the perfect spot to start growing saffron.
- 23:55Speaker 1: That's amazing because it is really expensive. I mean, even
- 23:58Speaker 1: if you go into the grocery store and get a
- 24:00Speaker 1: little jar of saffron, that's going to put you back
- 24:02Speaker 1: at least 30 bucks. And it's really low quality saffron.
- 24:06Speaker 1: You have to use twice as much for the flavor profile.
- 24:09Speaker 1: But you put it in paella.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:11Speaker 1: You can throw saffron in a lot.
- 24:12Speaker 8: Of- Not in paella.
- 24:13Speaker 10: Yes.
- 24:14Speaker 4: I've never put it in paella.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Why not? That's where it goes. Honey, where's the saffron?
- 24:18Speaker 4: I'm making paella.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I love paella.
- 24:20Speaker 3: My brother-in-law, he's from Venezuela. He makes a lot of paella.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I bet it's good with the crispy rice on the bottom.
- 24:28Speaker 8: It's fine.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Because you have to have the right pan to make paella.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Yeah, he does.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Then you have to get it all crispy.
- 24:33Speaker 4: He's got a pan.
- 24:34Speaker 1: You don't like paella?
- 24:36Speaker 8: What?
- 24:36Speaker 4: I lie when I go to the- to the events
- 24:40Speaker 4: at their house where they make paella.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Yeah this is delicious what not.
- 24:45Speaker 4: A fan of the paella that's cruel right now my
- 24:47Speaker 4: sister is hearing this and freaking out i'm like not
- 24:50Speaker 4: enough saffron in it i'm a liar i don't like
- 24:55Speaker 4: the paella anyway i love me some saffron i know
- 24:58Speaker 4: there's a black market for saffron i'm i've been involved
- 25:01Speaker 4: in the black market saffron trade for a few years
- 25:04Speaker 4: but uh This is pretty exciting stuff for Colorado.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It really is. I mean, we grow a lot of
- 25:09Speaker 1: stuff here, whether it's produce, you know.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:12Speaker 1: So we might as well throw.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Saffron in there as well. Get into the saffron game. Exactly.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Our soil is rich.
- 25:19Speaker 4: What else do you put saffron on? I don't even know.
- 25:22Speaker 8: It's used for dyes, isn't it? A lot of dyes.
- 25:24Speaker 1: You put it in paella. You put it in risotto.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You can put it in bouillabaisse, cioppino. You can put
- 25:31Speaker 1: it in a lot of seafood dishes. Oh, you want
- 25:33Speaker 1: to up your mashed potato game? Throw some saffron up
- 25:37Speaker 1: in those taters.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Oh, I'm going to get on my Reddit thread and
- 25:40Speaker 3: talk about that immediately.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yes, do it.
- 25:43Speaker 2: All right.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Number one morning show in saffron news right here at Mix. Five, five, five, five.
- 25:48Speaker 2: It's time to play Fast Five. Fast Five. How fast
- 25:52Speaker 2: can you be?

- 25:57Speaker 4: is time to play Fast Five, which is brought to
- 26:00Speaker 4: you by our very good friends up at Bally's Casino Blackhawk.

- 26:10Speaker 4: Shout out to Bally's Casino Blackhawk.

- 26:16Speaker 3: time to shine. Give us a call, 303-691-1MIX, 303-691-1MIX. 1649.

- 26:38Speaker 3: Within those 10 seconds, you've got to give me five
- 26:40Speaker 3: things that have to do with that category. You think
- 26:44Speaker 3: you can pull it off? If you do, you can
- 26:46Speaker 3: brag to your friends all weekend.
- 26:48Speaker 4: 303-691-1MIX, 303-691-1MIX. 1649. Katie, got some examples?
- 26:55Speaker 1: I do, and you're all over the place when it
- 26:57Speaker 1: comes to what you ask. You've said, quick, name five
- 26:59Speaker 1: famous billionaires in 10 seconds or less, or five birds
- 27:03Speaker 1: that don't fly. The one that won it yesterday, Stephanie
- 27:06Speaker 1: was able to name five foods that were normally served
- 27:10Speaker 1: alongside coleslaw.
- 27:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Again, all over the place when it comes to the topics.
- 27:16Speaker 4: That one was just straight up ridiculous right there.
- 27:18Speaker 1: She said salad, but sometimes salad's.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Next to coleslaw.
- 27:21Speaker 3: All right, listen, if you get placed on hold, don't
- 27:23Speaker 3: hang up. I see some of you hanging up after
- 27:26Speaker 3: I'm putting you on hold here.
- 27:27Speaker 4: Don't do that.
- 27:29Speaker 3: That means you're in, so don't freak out and hang out.
- 27:34Speaker 7: 303-691-1649.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Final day for those Dave Matthews tickets, right, Katie Kat?
- 27:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Dave and his friends are going to be at Fiddler's
- 27:40Speaker 1: actually tonight and tomorrow, so you get to hang out
- 27:43Speaker 1: with them this weekend. Score yourself a pair of tickets
- 27:45Speaker 1: when you win Fast Five today. Good luck.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Good luck, everybody. 303-691-1MIX, which is 303-691-1649. I wonder if
- 27:59Speaker 4: old Joshy boy is having some problems with the phones here.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Uh-oh. What's happening?
- 28:04Speaker 4: All right, now I think he's good.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Okay, here we go.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Hi, Kat.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Hey.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Hey, yourself.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Meow.
- 28:12Speaker 4: What are you doing this weekend, kitty cat?
- 28:15Speaker 11: You know, just hanging out.
- 28:16Speaker 4: That's it? You're just hanging out staring at your ceiling?
- 28:20Speaker 6: Nothing as of right now.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Well, I hope you win because then you're going to
- 28:24Speaker 4: go see Dave Matthews.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Yeah, then you got plans.
- 28:27Speaker 9: I'd love that.
- 28:27Speaker 4: I know, right? I'd love that for you. Do you work?
- 28:32Speaker 14: I do work, yes.
- 28:33Speaker 4: What's your job?
- 28:36Speaker 14: I'm in marketing.
- 28:37Speaker 4: What are you marketing?
- 28:40Speaker 2: Talent.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Talent?
- 28:42Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I'm taken, Kat. Talent? Like, never mind. I'm
- 28:48Speaker 4: not going to get into it. There's a lot of
- 28:49Speaker 4: children listening.
- 28:50Speaker 9: Okay.
- 28:50Speaker 4: All right, Kat, you ready to play?
- 28:53Speaker 10: Yes, I sure am.
- 28:54Speaker 3: All right, no help, no sequels, no cheating. Ten seconds.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Give me five Nicole Kidman movies.
- 29:02Speaker 8: Go.
- 29:03Speaker 11: Oh, gosh.
- 29:05Speaker 5: Nicole Kidman.
- 29:06Speaker 14: I love her.
- 29:07Speaker 15: I watch her shows, though.
- 29:09Speaker 4: You know, Fox Chicken. Time's up. Too much chitchat, Kat.
- 29:19Speaker 4: I think you might be on a speakerphone or Bluetooth.
- 29:21Speaker 4: It's a little hard to hear you. Have a great weekend, Kat.
- 29:23Speaker 4: We appreciate you calling in. Hi, Beth.
- 29:28Speaker 6: Hey.
- 29:28Speaker 4: Hey. You going to the big sports ball game tonight?
- 29:32Speaker 14: We are.
- 29:32Speaker 11: We are.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Who's we?
- 29:35Speaker 11: My husband and I.
- 29:36Speaker 4: The Hubs, date night?
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yes, sir.
- 29:40Speaker 4: How are the seats? Are they any good?
- 29:43Speaker 14: Front row.
- 29:44Speaker 4: I'll smell you, high roller. How'd you get those? Did
- 29:49Speaker 4: you buy them?
- 29:51Speaker 11: Well, he's been a season ticket holder for about five years.
- 29:55Speaker 11: It's a family, yeah, came from a family block that
- 29:58Speaker 11: He got two seats in the front row whenever the
- 30:02Speaker 11: stadium was built.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Yeah, you better hold on to that guy. He's got
- 30:05Speaker 4: some perks along with him. Good for you guys. Well,
- 30:11Speaker 4: have fun tonight.
- 30:14Speaker 3: I've got a couple that came in from some listeners
- 30:16Speaker 3: overnight that I'm going to use.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Oh, boy.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I know.
- 30:20Speaker 3: I feel like this one might be a little hard.
- 30:22Speaker 3: I'm going to do it anyway, though. This is for
- 30:25Speaker 3: some Dave Matthews tickets, for goodness sakes. In ten seconds,
- 30:29Speaker 3: give me five fictional characters that have beards.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Go.
- 30:38Speaker 11: I've got to give a good anything right now. I
- 30:44Speaker 11: don't know.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Well, I'm going.
- 30:49Speaker 4: To hold on to that one.
- 30:50Speaker 1: He's real, so.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Gandalf.
- 30:52Speaker 14: Oh, Santa Claus, duh.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Duh. Yeah, he is real. Don't bring Santa into this. Beth,
- 30:58Speaker 4: have a fun day. Enjoy the game.
- 31:01Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Bye. We've got a Nina on the line. Hi, Nina.
- 31:07Speaker 9: Hi.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Are you decorating for Halloween this weekend?
- 31:11Speaker 11: I'm starting in the decoration process.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Wow.
- 31:16Speaker 1: How long is the decoration process?
- 31:17Speaker 4: Well, it's starting now, I guess.
- 31:19Speaker 14: I do my entire, like, every room in my house.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Wow. Can you send us pictures when you're done? I
- 31:24Speaker 4: want to see this.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Sure.
- 31:26Speaker 4: So you're into it.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I've noticed all the stores have all their Halloween stuff up,
- 31:29Speaker 3: so it's go time.
- 31:31Speaker 11: They do.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a friend like this, too, where they
- 31:34Speaker 1: just completely go all out for Halloween. So, yeah, it's
- 31:37Speaker 1: about the time they start.
- 31:40Speaker 12: Got to get done early.
- 31:40Speaker 4: All right, Nina. That's spooktacular. Let's do some Fast Five
- 31:46Speaker 4: with you. Another listener one. Are you ready? I feel
- 31:50Speaker 4: like you're going to get this one, though. Ten seconds.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Give me five fictional characters that are aliens.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Go.
- 32:01Speaker 7: Oh, fictional characters that are aliens.
- 32:05Speaker 4: No cheating.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 32:07Speaker 14: I don't even know.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 32:12Speaker 1: You are stumping people today, Chad.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Really? Like Yoda and E.T.
- 32:16Speaker 2: And.
- 32:17Speaker 13: Oh, my God.
- 32:17Speaker 14: And Grogu.
- 32:18Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Stitch. Marvin the Martian. Start naming off, like, Chewbacca, you know?
- 32:24Speaker 1: There's a lot of them.
- 32:25Speaker 4: A lot of Star Wars stuff in there.
- 32:26Speaker 14: Are they considered aliens, though?
- 32:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 32:28Speaker 4: I guess they would be. I think Chewbacca's an alien.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Is he?
- 32:31Speaker 4: I don't know. He's a Wookiee. Oh. Does that equal alien?
- 32:35Speaker 1: I guess.
- 32:35Speaker 4: I would have accepted it. Nina, enjoy your decorating. Have
- 32:39Speaker 4: a great weekend.
- 32:40Speaker 11: Thanks, you too.
- 32:40Speaker 12: Bye.
- 32:41Speaker 10: Bye, Nina.
- 32:43Speaker 4: Hi, Desi.
- 32:43Speaker 8: Hi.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Hey, my little note on the screen that says Desi
- 32:48Speaker 4: wants to go to Dave Matthews.
- 32:50Speaker 14: Yes.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yes. Put it out in the universe, Desi.
- 32:53Speaker 4: So if you don't win, what are you doing this weekend?
- 32:58Speaker 7: I'm resting.
- 32:59Speaker 11: Just resting?
- 33:01Speaker 7: It's been a long day of teaching, yes.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Oh, okay. So you're a teacher.
- 33:06Speaker 7: Yes.
- 33:07Speaker 12: Yes.
- 33:07Speaker 1: What do you teach? What grade do you teach?
- 33:09Speaker 6: Kindergarten.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Oh, you need some rest, Desi.
- 33:13Speaker 14: Yes, I do.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Those kids are monsters at that age.
- 33:16Speaker 1: They're adorable, but that's a lot.
- 33:18Speaker 11: They're fantastic.
- 33:19Speaker 4: There's a lot of boogers everywhere.
- 33:24Speaker 1: You are a good, good human, Desi.
- 33:27Speaker 4: Well, you enjoy nap time just like your kindergartners.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Yeah. All right, your letter is P.
- 33:34Speaker 4: You should know that because you're a teacher.
- 33:35Speaker 1: That letter is P.
- 33:36Speaker 13: Okay. P.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Like poo-poo pee-pee, which is all over those kindergartners. The
- 33:42Speaker 4: letter is P. I need five companies starting with that
- 33:44Speaker 4: letter P. Go. P.
- 33:51Speaker 8: Really?
- 33:52Speaker 4: Her.
- 33:53Speaker 9: Wow.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 33:57Speaker 14: Know that was going to happen.
- 33:59Speaker 4: That's surprising.
- 34:00Speaker 14: I'm throwing straight fire today, too.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Literally like a hundred companies to start. There's a lot.
- 34:07Speaker 4: If not 200.
- 34:08Speaker 1: There's a lot.
- 34:09Speaker 4: Well, you go have a delicious Pepsi and go relax.
- 34:12Speaker 4: All right, Desi?
- 34:13Speaker 14: Yes.
- 34:14Speaker 8: All right.
- 34:14Speaker 7: See you later.
- 34:15Speaker 12: Bye.
- 34:15Speaker 10: Well, thank you.
- 34:16Speaker 7: All right.
- 34:18Speaker 4: What the heck, man?
- 34:19Speaker 1: Hi, Megan.
- 34:20Speaker 14: Hi. How are you guys?
- 34:22Speaker 4: Well, we're super dupes, but who cares about us? How
- 34:24Speaker 4: are you?
- 34:26Speaker 14: I am wonderful.
- 34:27Speaker 6: It's Friday.
- 34:28Speaker 2: I got my babies in the car.
- 34:29Speaker 14: We're going to school. How's the day, y'all?
- 34:32Speaker 4: Well, give a shout out to your babies.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:35Speaker 11: Got little Junebug and John Miller.
- 34:37Speaker 9: Hi.
- 34:39Speaker 8: Hi.
- 34:40Speaker 4: That doesn't sound like a baby at all.
- 34:42Speaker 6: Well, you know, teenager years, right?
- 34:44Speaker 1: Baby sounds like it has a mustache.
- 34:46Speaker 4: Stop calling me a baby, Mom.
- 34:47Speaker 14: He does.
- 34:48Speaker 4: I'm not a baby, Mom.
- 34:50Speaker 11: He's living in the basement. Don't worry about it.
- 34:54Speaker 1: All right.
- 34:56Speaker 4: Okay, so I like this Fast Five. Are you ready?
- 35:00Speaker 4: I hope you get it.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I hope so, too.
- 35:02Speaker 11: We like some Dave Matthews. We saw him at the
- 35:04Speaker 11: Gorge in Washington.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Oh, it's such a good concert. Okay, so no help
- 35:08Speaker 4: from your babies.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Yes.
- 35:10Speaker 4: No cheating. But in 10 seconds, I need five jobs
- 35:15Speaker 4: that traditionally involve using a ladder.
- 35:19Speaker 8: Go.
- 35:20Speaker 6: Oh, Home Depot workers, Lowe's workers, painters.
- 35:26Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Hurry, hurry.
- 35:29Speaker 14: Construction firms.
- 35:32Speaker 4: You got four.
- 35:33Speaker 2: You got four.
- 35:36Speaker 4: And a firefighter. That's like the biggest one.
- 35:39Speaker 14: I got to be disappointed.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Dang it.
- 35:41Speaker 3: That was one of my more easier ones today.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Well, love you guys anyway.
- 35:49Speaker 6: We've been trying to get through it, so.
- 35:50Speaker 11: Thank you guys.
- 35:51Speaker 3: We really appreciate you listening every morning, and have a
- 35:53Speaker 3: great day.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Have a great weekend.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 35:55Speaker 13: Hug those babies.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Thank you, you guys too. Bye.
- 36:01Speaker 9: Kelly.
- 36:02Speaker 7: Yes, hello.
- 36:03Speaker 4: Hello, how are you today?
- 36:05Speaker 14: I really want Dave Matthews tickets.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Well, you got to work for them. I'm not just
- 36:09Speaker 4: going to hand them to you, Kelly.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's hard to work for them.
- 36:11Speaker 14: Oh, I need an easy question.
- 36:13Speaker 4: But I don't know what's easy to you, you know?
- 36:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 36:17Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 4: What would be easy for you?
- 36:21Speaker 13: Foods.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Foods?
- 36:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:24Speaker 6: Foods.
- 36:25Speaker 10: All right.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Are you ready?
- 36:28Speaker 11: Yes, I'm ready.
- 36:30Speaker 4: I need five companies starting with the letter P.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Go.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Go.
- 36:36Speaker 9: Oh, crap.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Come on. Oh, my God, Kelly. That was really bad.
- 36:47Speaker 6: That was awful.
- 36:48Speaker 4: I just gave you Pepsi like two seconds ago. Kelly,
- 36:53Speaker 4: I love you to pieces. Have a great weekend.
- 36:55Speaker 14: You too.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Bye-bye.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Bye, Kelly. Oh, man. I really wanted her to win.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Who else do we have?
- 37:04Speaker 4: Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater. Hi, Peter.
- 37:06Speaker 13: Hey, good morning.
- 37:08Speaker 4: My note says, Peter, haircut.
- 37:10Speaker 9: Yeah, it's going to be a big weekend.
- 37:14Speaker 6: Really, really big.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Getting a haircut. That's exciting stuff. Wow.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Do you have somebody you go see? Because my wife
- 37:21Speaker 3: is now taking on the duty of giving me a haircut.
- 37:24Speaker 7: Oh, man.
- 37:25Speaker 12: I see Taylor, who is the shop manager at Floyd's
- 37:28Speaker 12: in Boulder on Pearl Street.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Oh, very nice. I used to go to Floyd's. I
- 37:31Speaker 4: used to go. Well, very good, Peter. It's about time
- 37:35Speaker 4: you look like you're very shaggy. All right, are you
- 37:38Speaker 4: ready to play?
- 37:38Speaker 13: Oh, I'm ready.
- 37:41Speaker 4: All right.
- 37:43Speaker 3: I need you to tell me five places that you
- 37:46Speaker 3: might see velvet ropes go.
- 37:52Speaker 4: The Emmys, the Oscars, the Tonys, outside of a fancy
- 37:55Speaker 4: club and at a very fancy bank. a very fancy
- 38:04Speaker 4: bank a fancy bank definitely like.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Going up to a Belco or something there's velvet ropes
- 38:08Speaker 3: yeah if you go to like a fancy bank.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Yeah fancy banks have them.
- 38:13Speaker 12: Well you know maybe not Wells Fargo but you.
- 38:16Speaker 4: Know like a really I'm trying to think of a
- 38:19Speaker 4: really fancy bank that would have velvet ropes like Gringotts
- 38:22Speaker 4: in Harry Potter.
- 38:22Speaker 12: Yes yes yes a Gringotts there we go.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Well that's different he just said fancy bank do you
- 38:28Speaker 3: know where I've seen velvet ropes Peter I actually have
- 38:32Speaker 3: some going up to my bed in my bedroom.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Shut up. Oh, man.
- 38:36Speaker 7: Oh, wow.
- 38:36Speaker 13: That's impressive.
- 38:37Speaker 4: We like to keep it classy, Peter. We really do.
- 38:39Speaker 7: Well done.
- 38:41Speaker 4: It's quite the event.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Well done, he said.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Peter, do you know what you're supposed to say to
- 38:48Speaker 4: me when you win Fast Five?
- 38:49Speaker 9: Oh, my gosh.
- 38:50Speaker 12: Will you please play the Winnie Wins sound? Oh!
- 38:56Speaker 3: Peter, you're going to be looking good with that brand
- 38:58Speaker 3: new haircut at Dave Matthews Band this weekend.
- 39:01Speaker 6: Oh, man.
- 39:03Speaker 11: I can't wait.
- 39:04Speaker 9: That's awesome, guys.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Oh, you did all the hard work, even with that
- 39:07Speaker 3: goofy last guess there.
- 39:09Speaker 4: But I gave it to you.
- 39:10Speaker 9: It works.
- 39:11Speaker 4: I gave it to you, buddy.
- 39:13Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Thank you very much for calling in and having some
- 39:15Speaker 3: fun and winning Fast Five today. I'm going to put
- 39:18Speaker 3: you on hold, dude, and we're going to come back
- 39:20Speaker 3: and tell you all about that prize.
- 39:21Speaker 4: All righty?
- 39:22Speaker 12: Thanks, guys.
- 39:23Speaker 3: You peter have a great weekend that's how we get
- 39:25Speaker 3: her done jerry.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Katie and josh.
- 39:31Speaker 3: We've been talking about what we're wearing tonight and you
- 39:34Speaker 3: know how lovely Katie's gonna look I have a question
- 39:39Speaker 3: though because I did notice something what I'm not really
- 39:43Speaker 3: tapped into the nail game. I noticed your fingernails are
- 39:47Speaker 3: a different color than your toenails.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Is that good or bad? I feel like it's bad.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Isn't that how we do it? Am I doing it wrong?
- 40:00Speaker 3: I've always heard that your nails on your fingers should
- 40:04Speaker 3: always match your toes.
- 40:05Speaker 4: It should be a matching combo.
- 40:07Speaker 1: No, I've seen girls with different toes and nails.
- 40:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Seen that i don't know i think i don't know
- 40:15Speaker 4: somebody said ladies.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yeah let us know if i'm doing it wrong.
- 40:19Speaker 5: Because mine is like 1649 drastically different that was what
- 40:24Speaker 5: was shocking to me because your nails are like a
- 40:26Speaker 5: blood red yeah the cherry red and your little piggies
- 40:29Speaker 5: are bright white i love white it's a shocking difference I.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Really like white toes. I think it's such a sleek look.
- 40:37Speaker 1: So I always paint my toes white.
- 40:40Speaker 4: It's very aerodynamic.
- 40:41Speaker 1: The red was for wine time tonight. Like, that's why
- 40:45Speaker 1: I did the red, because I wanted it to match
- 40:47Speaker 1: my shoes. So I did the, you know, cherry red
- 40:52Speaker 1: for the hands and then white for the toes. But
- 40:54Speaker 1: I like how it looks.
- 40:56Speaker 8: I didn't.
- 40:56Speaker 4: See, the phone's ringing. I didn't know I was doing
- 40:58Speaker 4: it wrong. How would I know more about this than you?
- 41:03Speaker 2: 303-691-1649.
- 41:03Speaker 3: She must do the same. I feel like, yes, that
- 41:06Speaker 3: she generally does the same. Because you've got to matchy-matchy.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Open-toed shoes tonight?
- 41:12Speaker 1: No, closed-toed shoes. So maybe I'm okay. Maybe I'm okay.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Get away with it. Josh is grabbing these calls really quick.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Are we talking to her?
- 41:21Speaker 1: And here's the thing, like, when I got my nails done,
- 41:23Speaker 1: you think they would have said something. Like, no, you
- 41:25Speaker 1: want your toes to be the same.
- 41:27Speaker 4: So ridiculous.
- 41:28Speaker 1: You know?
- 41:29Speaker 4: Those would be the experts right there.
- 41:30Speaker 1: They really would be. And I'm really, like, my girl
- 41:33Speaker 1: Gracie and I, we tight. I feel like this is
- 41:36Speaker 1: something she could tell me. Deb.
- 41:39Speaker 6: What?
- 41:42Speaker 7: Hi, Deb.
- 41:42Speaker 1: You called us, Deb.
- 41:44Speaker 7: I was looking for my lipstick.
- 41:45Speaker 13: I wasn't ready.
- 41:46Speaker 4: You were putting lipstick.
- 41:47Speaker 3: I got to ask you, does your lipstick have to
- 41:49Speaker 3: match your fingernails and your toenails?
- 41:53Speaker 9: No.
- 41:54Speaker 1: No?
- 41:54Speaker 13: Okay, you can get away with it. So, I was
- 41:56Speaker 13: a nail tech for 17 years. Okay. In Denver, Colorado.
- 41:59Speaker 14: Okay.
- 41:59Speaker 13: And just last night, I painted my nails bronco orange,
- 42:06Speaker 13: and my toes are still pink. like a really party
- 42:09Speaker 13: brown from the pool party last weekend. So I figure, like,
- 42:14Speaker 13: at least they're, like, orange and brown, you know, kind
- 42:17Speaker 13: of go together.
- 42:18Speaker 4: It sounds like really bad diarrhea, Deb. You might want
- 42:21Speaker 4: to get that changed immediately.
- 42:24Speaker 13: No, you can do it, Katie. What colors do you
- 42:27Speaker 13: have on?
- 42:27Speaker 1: So I have, like, the red, like the, you know,
- 42:30Speaker 1: fire engine red for my hands, and then I have
- 42:33Speaker 1: white toes.
- 42:34Speaker 13: Oh, you're good, girl.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Okay, yes.
- 42:37Speaker 13: You did it.
- 42:38Speaker 3: She's nail tech for 17 years in Denver, Colorado.
- 42:42Speaker 13: I know my stuff, girl.
- 42:44Speaker 1: And you've got the throwback colors on, Deb, so I
- 42:47Speaker 1: dig it. Go Broncos.
- 42:48Speaker 4: Brown's a throwback, huh?
- 42:49Speaker 1: It is a throwback, yeah.
- 42:51Speaker 13: 1960.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Looks like a football. You should paint the little lines,
- 42:54Speaker 4: the laces on your toes, too, so they look like
- 42:56Speaker 4: little footballs.
- 42:57Speaker 13: No, I do it on my hands so everybody can
- 43:00Speaker 13: see them.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's fine.
- 43:01Speaker 13: You know, you decorate your hands, so... Toes, I don't
- 43:04Speaker 13: think you should decorate them.
- 43:06Speaker 3: So you're okay with the fingers being a different color
- 43:09Speaker 3: than the feet.
- 43:10Speaker 4: You say that's okay right now.
- 43:12Speaker 13: Yeah, why don't you like it? That's what I like
- 43:15Speaker 13: to know.
- 43:15Speaker 4: I'm a little OCD.
- 43:16Speaker 3: I feel like I want all 10 fingers and all
- 43:19Speaker 3: 10 little piggies to look the same.
- 43:21Speaker 4: And this is just, I'm pretty tapped into fashion, Deb.
- 43:25Speaker 3: And I've just seen it on the Instagrams that ladies
- 43:27Speaker 3: are supposed to have matching fingers and toes.
- 43:30Speaker 13: So do you make your wife do that?
- 43:32Speaker 4: I don't make her do anything, but she does it.
- 43:34Speaker 13: I bet you you do because you're OCD. And you
- 43:39Speaker 13: would tell her that's not how you do it.
- 43:41Speaker 7: Go back and change it.
- 43:43Speaker 4: I've actually threatened to leave her, Deb.
- 43:44Speaker 1: If she doesn't change it. This has almost caused a divorce.
- 43:47Speaker 14: Leave her.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Deb, you're funny.
- 43:51Speaker 4: What kind of pool party were you at, Deb?
- 43:54Speaker 13: Oh, at my apartment. They do it all. Yeah, they
- 43:58Speaker 13: had limbo. We had a DJ.
- 44:00Speaker 9: They.
- 44:01Speaker 13: Grilled and all the free alcohol That we could drink.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Deb got her drink on Oh.
- 44:08Speaker 13: I did I was starting to mess with my eyebrows
- 44:11Speaker 13: And I was just laying there going Oh my god
- 44:14Speaker 13: what's going on.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Did you pick up any cute fellas.
- 44:18Speaker 14: At this pool party?
- 44:20Speaker 16: No But It was relaxing it was good You know
- 44:25Speaker 16: I invited some friends and stuff So it was good
- 44:29Speaker 16: And I was in my own apartment, you know, drunk, so.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Good times. Best time ever.
- 44:38Speaker 4: Deb, thank you for calling. You have a very good weekend.
- 44:42Speaker 3: All right, well, according to Deb, you're fine, Katie. But
- 44:46Speaker 3: she's also been very drunk in her life.
- 44:48Speaker 1: And her toenails are brown, so I don't know.
- 44:52Speaker 4: Take that for what it's worth. It's our feel-good Friday.
- 44:56Speaker 4: Sharing all those special little moments throughout the month of August.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Something good that happened to you. We want to hear
- 45:03Speaker 4: about it.
- 45:03Speaker 3: I know something good has happened to you in the
- 45:06Speaker 3: month of August. Please call in and share it with us.
- 45:10Speaker 3: We like to bring joy to the airwaves. We're making
- 45:12Speaker 3: people smile and feel good today. It's a feel-good Friday.
- 45:16Speaker 3: 303-691- 1649, what was the best moment of August for you?
- 45:21Speaker 3: And I'll tell you right now, it doesn't have to
- 45:23Speaker 3: be anything like a job promotion and you sued somebody
- 45:27Speaker 3: and won a bunch of money.
- 45:28Speaker 4: It can be small stuff too, you know? Like you
- 45:30Speaker 4: had a really good tuna fish sandwich. We'll take anything.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I mean.
- 45:35Speaker 4: That runs the gamut, right?
- 45:36Speaker 1: 303-691-1649 was the best moment of your month, Katie. Oh, mine,
- 45:46Speaker 1: I have to say it was baby Nana's birthday because
- 45:48Speaker 1: if I don't, I will get a strongly worded text
- 45:51Speaker 1: from her. So it was baby Nana's birthday. It was
- 45:53Speaker 1: the highlight of my whole month. I loved it. Yay, birthday.
- 45:58Speaker 16: What?
- 46:00Speaker 4: That's what you picked?
- 46:01Speaker 1: I have to. I have to. I don't think you understand.
- 46:07Speaker 1: That has to be my pick this morning.
- 46:09Speaker 4: That girl needs to go to military school.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Send it on his birthday.
- 46:12Speaker 4: You need to send her off to the military.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Best part of my month.
- 46:16Speaker 4: Is your daughter having her birthday.
- 46:18Speaker 1: That I wasn't invited to, remember?
- 46:21Speaker 5: Oh, that's right.
- 46:22Speaker 4: Oh, you be thinking about it.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I want you to pick a different one. But it
- 46:25Speaker 1: was the best part. No, that is it. If I
- 46:27Speaker 1: don't pick that, I'm in trouble from my kid.
- 46:29Speaker 4: She will murder you. I see some of you calling
- 46:33Speaker 4: and then hanging up, calling and hanging up. Don't do that.
- 46:36Speaker 4: I think they're getting scared. We want to know the
- 46:38Speaker 4: best part of August for you. Big or small. 303-691- 16-49.
- 46:45Speaker 3: How many parents are going to call in and say, oh,
- 46:46Speaker 3: my kid's going back to school? That was the best
- 46:50Speaker 3: moment for sure.
- 46:50Speaker 4: You included, right?
- 46:52Speaker 1: Call now.
- 46:53Speaker 3: We are doing a feel-good Friday, trying to bring some
- 46:56Speaker 3: joy to Denver, Colorado today. Because it just makes everybody
- 47:01Speaker 3: kind of feel good. It gives you the feels a
- 47:03Speaker 3: little bit. Because there's so much crap going on out
- 47:06Speaker 3: there in the world that we like to, you know...
- 47:09Speaker 3: Show you the light a little bit. So what was
- 47:11Speaker 3: the best part of August for you? We did get
- 47:13Speaker 3: a really nice message from Lisa who said the best
- 47:17Speaker 3: part was my trip to Vegas with my 82-year-old aunt
- 47:20Speaker 3: from Vermont.
- 47:22Speaker 4: We call her Rita the Roller. She rolled out of
- 47:25Speaker 4: Vegas with $ 1, 400. Nice!
- 47:29Speaker 1: Rita the Roller! Get it, Rita?
- 47:32Speaker 4: Here's Coral. Hi, Coral. Welcome to the show.
- 47:35Speaker 8: Hi.
- 47:36Speaker 9: Hi.
- 47:36Speaker 4: Okay, so it's Feel Good Friday. What was the best
- 47:38Speaker 4: part of August for you?
- 47:40Speaker 15: My best part of August is I got to meet
- 47:43Speaker 15: Zach Bryan.
- 47:44Speaker 2: You did?
- 47:44Speaker 15: And he signed my guitar strap, and then he offered
- 47:47Speaker 15: us all tickets to his concert.
- 47:49Speaker 4: What? How did you pull that off?
- 47:51Speaker 1: Yeah, where'd you meet him?
- 47:54Speaker 15: We met him in, it's called the Butcher Block in Denver.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:00Speaker 15: Yeah, my neighbor's. They own that restaurant, and the neighbor
- 48:06Speaker 15: is my, like, friend.
- 48:08Speaker 4: Well, that's a pretty awesome experience. And he got an autograph.
- 48:12Speaker 1: He came into the restaurant and, like, hung out with y'all. Yeah,
- 48:16Speaker 1: he did.
- 48:16Speaker 14: That's awesome.
- 48:17Speaker 1: He's such a good dude, too.
- 48:19Speaker 4: That's definitely a highlight.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 48:21Speaker 3: You are in the lead so far. Thank you so
- 48:23Speaker 3: much for calling in. We appreciate you.
- 48:25Speaker 4: Here's Alex. Hi, Alex.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Hello.
- 48:27Speaker 11: Hello.
- 48:30Speaker 4: It's a feel good Friday with Alex.
- 48:32Speaker 1: All right, Alex, what was the.
- 48:33Speaker 4: Best part of the month?
- 48:34Speaker 6: Well, a couple of things, actually. Now that I remember,
- 48:37Speaker 6: I got my car back after it being in the
- 48:39Speaker 6: shop for about a month.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Oh, Lord.
- 48:43Speaker 4: What was wrong with the car?
- 48:44Speaker 6: Well, the rack and pinion needed to be replaced because
- 48:49Speaker 6: it was leaking. The transfer case needed to be replaced
- 48:52Speaker 6: because it was leaking. But it was also good because
- 48:55Speaker 6: my warranty that I got for it paid for it all. Hey!
- 48:59Speaker 4: There you go.
- 48:59Speaker 1: You're smart with the warranty.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Oh, the old rack and pinion, I tell you what.
- 49:04Speaker 4: I had a nickel.
- 49:05Speaker 9: Well....
- 49:08Speaker 6: And then the second thing was I went to go
- 49:10Speaker 6: see Lindsey Stirling actually at the beginning of August.
- 49:13Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's great.
- 49:14Speaker 1: She's the violin player, right?
- 49:16Speaker 6: Yeah, she is the violin player.
- 49:18Speaker 4: She's actually pretty brilliant.
- 49:19Speaker 6: She does her own acrobatics while playing the violin.
- 49:23Speaker 4: By the way.
- 49:23Speaker 11: Don't we all?
- 49:24Speaker 1: No, she's amazing.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Don't we all?
- 49:26Speaker 1: She is so talented.
- 49:27Speaker 8: Absolutely.
- 49:28Speaker 13: Oh, yeah, I got to.
- 49:30Speaker 14: Do all that.
- 49:31Speaker 4: Those are two very, very good ones.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, Alex.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Thank you for calling and sharing. It's Feel Good Friday.
- 49:37Speaker 3: If you want to share the best party of the
- 49:39Speaker 3: month for you, 303-691-1649. Here's Mindy.
- 49:43Speaker 4: Hi, Mindy. Hello.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Hello. All right.
- 49:49Speaker 4: What was the best part of August?
- 49:51Speaker 14: So same sentiment as Katie, my daughter's birthday.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Oh, we got to let you go, Mindy.
- 49:58Speaker 1: No, we don't.
- 49:59Speaker 4: Let her talk about her daughter.
- 50:00Speaker 1: We got to let you go. What's your daughter's name, Mindy? Elise.
- 50:04Speaker 13: Elise, okay.
- 50:05Speaker 4: She's got a stranglehold on you as well, huh?
- 50:08Speaker 1: Oh, we love them.
- 50:08Speaker 2: She's my world.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Exactly. How old did she turn? What birthday was it?
- 50:15Speaker 15: The 20th.
- 50:16Speaker 4: That's a big one.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Come on, in your 20s?
- 50:18Speaker 4: What'd you give her for her birthday? um definitely not
- 50:23Speaker 4: independence oh.
- 50:25Speaker 14: She is so independent it's scary oh my god um
- 50:30Speaker 14: but i gave her this really nice curling iron she
- 50:32Speaker 14: has really long hair and it's very nice it's a
- 50:35Speaker 14: really good um expensive yeah those are not cheap uh mindy.
- 50:43Speaker 4: I guess thank you for calling.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Thank you so much. And happy birthday to your little.
- 50:47Speaker 1: She's a Leo, too, right?
- 50:48Speaker 14: Happy birthday to baby Nana.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 50:51Speaker 7: Oh, barf.
- 50:52Speaker 3: I'm going to go throw up in the trash.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Can now, Mindy.
- 50:55Speaker 12: All right.
- 50:57Speaker 4: I love you.
- 50:57Speaker 1: I love you.
- 50:58Speaker 4: Have a good day.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Bye.
- 50:59Speaker 8: Bye.
- 51:00Speaker 4: Give me a break.
- 51:01Speaker 1: I love that.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Phone lines are still ringing. Listen, guys, we're calling it
- 51:05Speaker 3: Feel Good Friday. If you want to call in. And
- 51:08Speaker 3: tell us the best part of August for you. We
- 51:10Speaker 3: want to talk to you. We want to bring some
- 51:12Speaker 3: smiles to the airwaves. Big or small, doesn't matter. 303-691-1649.
- 51:18Speaker 3: Let me do one more before we play a quick song.
- 51:20Speaker 4: Here's Megan. Hi, Megan.
- 51:22Speaker 13: Hello.
- 51:23Speaker 8: Hello.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Okay, the best part of August for you.
- 51:25Speaker 11: I bought my first house.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Yay! Megan!
- 51:31Speaker 4: What part of town are you in?
- 51:33Speaker 8: Parker.
- 51:34Speaker 9: Nice.
- 51:34Speaker 4: Congrats.
- 51:36Speaker 1: You know, doing that in Colorado, that's a huge pat
- 51:38Speaker 1: on the back to you because that's not easily done.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Way to spend $ 700, 000. Way to go.
- 51:44Speaker 14: Pretty much, but it was my ex-husband's money.
- 51:47Speaker 11: So 20 months post-divorce, I finally.
- 51:49Speaker 6: Got my kids in my house.
- 51:51Speaker 1: This story got so much better.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Even better. Fantastic, Megan. That's amazing. Thank you for calling.
- 51:57Speaker 4: I forgot to mention the best part of my month
- 51:59Speaker 4: of August. Went out and made a rather large purchase.
- 52:03Speaker 1: You did.
- 52:04Speaker 4: And it is so awesome. I love it so, so much, Katie.
- 52:10Speaker 2: You do?
- 52:11Speaker 4: It's a brand new deep freezer that we got in
- 52:13Speaker 4: the basement.
- 52:13Speaker 7: Oh, jeez.
- 52:15Speaker 4: I'm going to tell you, there's nothing better than getting
- 52:16Speaker 4: a brand new deep freeze.
- 52:17Speaker 1: You know?
- 52:18Speaker 4: The shelves are nice and clean. Nothing is sticky.
- 52:21Speaker 1: You make a good point.
- 52:21Speaker 4: You really organize everything in the freezer.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Man, it's been a good, good month.
- 52:27Speaker 4: Here's Dominique. Hi, Dominique.
- 52:30Speaker 14: Good morning.
- 52:31Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 52:32Speaker 3: What was the best part of your month for Feel
- 52:33Speaker 3: Good Friday?
- 52:35Speaker 2: Well, it happened last Saturday. I was accepted or I
- 52:39Speaker 2: received a scholarship to a playwriting workshop and I attended that.
- 52:45Speaker 2: And then I went on an audition, which I hadn't
- 52:47Speaker 2: done in five years for an improv show.
- 52:49Speaker 4: Well, you fancy.
- 52:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:51Speaker 4: I love this.
- 52:52Speaker 3: I did so much improv and stuff in high school
- 52:54Speaker 3: and college. This is like right up my alley, Dominique.
- 52:58Speaker 14: Yeah, it was a lot of fun.
- 52:59Speaker 2: I didn't get it, but that's the gig, right?
- 53:02Speaker 4: That's all right. But good for you putting yourself out there.
- 53:05Speaker 4: I love it.
- 53:06Speaker 14: It was a lot of fun. So thanks for letting
- 53:08Speaker 14: me share.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Happy Friday.
- 53:09Speaker 4: You too, Dominique. Have a great weekend.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Way to go.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Cody. Hi, Cody.
- 53:14Speaker 9: Hey, good morning, everybody.
- 53:15Speaker 4: Morning, buddy. Feel good Friday. What was the best part
- 53:18Speaker 4: of August for you?
- 53:20Speaker 12: My wife and I celebrated 11 years of marriage.
- 53:23Speaker 1: No way. Oh, congratulations.
- 53:26Speaker 4: And they said it wouldn't last, Cody.
- 53:28Speaker 12: You'd be surprised what they said.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Right?
- 53:30Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 53:30Speaker 4: Hey, I'm going to tell you right now. My wife
- 53:32Speaker 4: and I are sneaking off. We're celebrating 20 years of marriage,
- 53:35Speaker 4: and I guarantee you, guarantee you her dad didn't think
- 53:39Speaker 4: it was going to last. Oh, I'm sure.
- 53:40Speaker 12: That's awesome. Congratulations.
- 53:43Speaker 4: Thanks, buddy.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Haters going to hate though, right?
- 53:45Speaker 4: Tell her dad to suck it.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Did you get her anything special for your anniversary? Any
- 53:49Speaker 3: gift or anything?
- 53:51Speaker 9: Oh my gosh.
- 53:51Speaker 12: We're going to try to keep it feel good Friday.
- 53:55Speaker 12: So a lot happened in the month of August and
- 53:57Speaker 12: some of it not so great. So she actually stole
- 54:02Speaker 12: me away and treated me To an amazing date night
- 54:08Speaker 12: that I did not see coming. We had big plans.
- 54:11Speaker 12: We had to cancel them. Stuff happened.
- 54:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:14Speaker 12: And then she was just like, hey, you're coming with me.
- 54:17Speaker 12: And she took me out and she got me a
- 54:19Speaker 12: replacement wedding ring because as I got older, my fingers
- 54:22Speaker 12: got fatter.
- 54:24Speaker 4: As they do.
- 54:25Speaker 12: Funny story, the ring doesn't fit. So I haven't been
- 54:29Speaker 12: able to wear a wedding ring for like three years.
- 54:32Speaker 8: Oh.
- 54:33Speaker 12: I keep reminding her, man. People be looking at me.
- 54:36Speaker 4: I'm kind of a catch. Cody, congratulations.
- 54:43Speaker 3: I got to get to a couple more quick calls,
- 54:44Speaker 3: but dude, thank you for calling in and congratulations to
- 54:47Speaker 3: you crazy kids.
- 54:49Speaker 12: Hey, thanks brother.
- 54:50Speaker 11: Have a great day.
- 54:51Speaker 4: Thanks Cody. Betsy, Betsy. Hello.
- 54:56Speaker 7: Hello.
- 54:57Speaker 4: Really quick. What was the best part of August for you?
- 55:00Speaker 10: So my youngest daughter just accepted a new job here
- 55:03Speaker 10: in Colorado, and she's moving home.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Yay! Coming back to the centennial stage.
- 55:10Speaker 4: What's her job?
- 55:11Speaker 10: She is going to be working for CSU Extension in
- 55:16Speaker 10: their SNEP program, which is Food, Nutrition, Education program.
- 55:20Speaker 1: What a good gig. That's amazing.
- 55:23Speaker 4: You've got to be a proud mama bear.
- 55:25Speaker 10: I sure am.
- 55:26Speaker 4: And so happy.
- 55:27Speaker 1: I'm so happy for you to be able to have
- 55:29Speaker 1: them in the vicinity of you.
- 55:31Speaker 4: Betsy, thank you for sharing for Feel Good Friday. I'm
- 55:33Speaker 4: going to squeeze in one more. Justin, good morning.
- 55:36Speaker 9: Hey, good morning.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Good morning, buddy.
- 55:38Speaker 4: Feel good for you.
- 55:39Speaker 10: This is it.
- 55:39Speaker 9: I'm going to try to get through this. I'm going
- 55:41Speaker 9: to try to get through this without losing it, Jer.
- 55:43Speaker 4: It's all right. I've cried on this show many times.
- 55:46Speaker 9: The best part of my month, and my month has
- 55:49Speaker 9: been epic. I got to take my kid to his
- 55:52Speaker 9: first stadium show. Great trip with him. But when you
- 55:57Speaker 9: were talking about Feel Good Friday and I was just
- 55:59Speaker 9: reflecting in my car after dropping my kid off to school,
- 56:03Speaker 9: like what the show has meant to us over the
- 56:05Speaker 9: last four years. And we started listening when I started
- 56:10Speaker 9: commuting with my kid to sixth grade. He's in 10th
- 56:14Speaker 9: grade now. And we were going through a transition with
- 56:18Speaker 9: our family. And it was right around the time when
- 56:21Speaker 9: you were going through a transition in the show. And
- 56:23Speaker 9: it was, it was the Dom and Jer show. And
- 56:28Speaker 9: we were going to school one time and we got
- 56:31Speaker 9: the news that you guys were like breaking up just
- 56:33Speaker 9: like our family was. And we were devastated. And I
- 56:38Speaker 9: was just reflecting on like all this transition and he's
- 56:41Speaker 9: had a rough time. And, um, and how the show
- 56:45Speaker 9: has been an anchor for us, like just bringing some
- 56:48Speaker 9: feel-good vibes and laughs every morning. And now that we're
- 56:52Speaker 9: going back to school again, I've been like, wow, your
- 56:57Speaker 9: show is kicking butt now. And this transition has worked
- 57:02Speaker 9: out really well for you all. And it just made
- 57:05Speaker 9: me feel like, hey, we're going to be okay.
- 57:08Speaker 4: We're going to be good.
- 57:10Speaker 1: You're going to be great.
- 57:11Speaker 4: We are going to be good.
- 57:12Speaker 3: And this show is, you know, we focus a lot
- 57:14Speaker 3: on families and friendships and good vibes. And I'm glad
- 57:19Speaker 3: that's rubbing off on you and your family, buddy.
- 57:22Speaker 9: Yeah, it means a lot to us to just be
- 57:24Speaker 9: able to tune in every morning and hear y'all and
- 57:28Speaker 9: laugh with y'all and just feel good. And I really
- 57:33Speaker 9: appreciate what y'all bring. So thank you.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Thank you. This was a beautiful call, man. I'm tearing up.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I know. Like it's brought me to tears over here.
- 57:42Speaker 1: What is your son's name, Justin?
- 57:45Speaker 9: His name is Kai.
- 57:46Speaker 12: Okay.
- 57:47Speaker 4: Shout out to Justin and Kai this morning.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Can't thank you enough for riding the wave of the
- 57:53Speaker 3: changes here and loving what you hear.
- 57:55Speaker 4: I appreciate it.
- 57:56Speaker 8: I really do.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:58Speaker 4: Justin, have a great weekend, dude. Thank you.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 58:01Speaker 4: Well, that right there was the cherry on top for me.
- 58:04Speaker 4: How incredibly kind.
- 58:06Speaker 3: We will do this again at the end of September.
- 58:09Speaker 3: It's Feel Good Friday with JKJ here at Mix.
- 58:13Speaker 1: She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brain full
- 58:15Speaker 1: of Dr. Phil reruns. She's on me like a duck
- 58:18Speaker 1: on a gene bug.
- 58:19Speaker 8: But can you take down Katie in Pop Culture Smackdown?
- 58:24Speaker 1: This is Katie Crush.
- 58:27Speaker 4: Oh, indeed it is. And it looks like Michelle made
- 58:30Speaker 4: it through. Hi, Michelle.
- 58:31Speaker 11: Good morning.
- 58:32Speaker 14: Happy Friday.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Oh, you as well.
- 58:35Speaker 4: That's very sweet of you. All right. Tell us all
- 58:37Speaker 4: about yourself, Michelle.
- 58:40Speaker 7: I am from Westminster. I have three kiddos, 14, 11
- 58:43Speaker 7: and 10. So there are quite a handful. I feel
- 58:49Speaker 7: like I'm a chauffeur more than anything else.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:54Speaker 7: So they are definitely like I, you know, I wish
- 58:57Speaker 7: I could morph my two younger boys into one boy.
- 59:01Speaker 7: It would be a lot cheaper, you know?
- 59:03Speaker 4: No joke.
- 59:04Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 59:05Speaker 4: Our schedule at my house has been so stupid the
- 59:08Speaker 4: past two days just with two kids and i was
- 59:11Speaker 4: just talking to my wife knickknack about this we were
- 59:13Speaker 4: like how do people do it more than two kids.
- 59:16Speaker 11: I don't know how you can't it's so hard yeah.
- 59:19Speaker 4: And we've got friends with like five kids oh my
- 59:21Speaker 4: goodness i can't even six kids oh barf i can't
- 59:25Speaker 4: even imagine oh puke um so do you work.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Michelle I do not work.
- 59:30Speaker 7: My job is just them and just being their chauffeur
- 59:33Speaker 7: and all that stuff. No tipping, unfortunately.
- 59:37Speaker 1: I was going to say, I hope you work for tips,
- 59:39Speaker 1: but not the case.
- 59:40Speaker 3: You better go pamper yourself. You need to take some
- 59:43Speaker 3: time and go pamper yourself.
- 59:44Speaker 1: You do.
- 59:45Speaker 7: You know, I actually have a massage this weekend with
- 59:48Speaker 7: my husband. It's one of those couple massages.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Nice.
- 59:51Speaker 4: I'm sure he's really into that.
- 59:53Speaker 10: He loves it.
- 59:54Speaker 4: Does he?
- 59:55Speaker 7: I feel like he will want to go like every week,
- 59:57Speaker 7: but I feel like that's too much. Maybe like once
- 59:58Speaker 7: a month.
- 59:59Speaker 4: He's a good man for lying to you like that.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Stop it. No man likes a couple massage, Michelle. I
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: hate to break the news to you.
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: No, but, I mean, he doesn't really, like, you know,
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: he's like, why do you always get to do the massages?
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: Even though, like, you know, like, he needs it more.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: I'm just like, well, you know, it's a couple's massage,
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: and it's usually a pretty good deal because I get
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: it off of the Groupon.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Yeah, there you go. You guys can go get rubbed together,
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: so that's all right. I'm just goofing with you.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: All right, so I'm going to give you and Katie
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: the same five questions, Michelle. Best out of five wins.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: Ties go to Katie.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: Unless I'm in a really good mood. Anything you want
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: to say to her, Katie?
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and Michelle, I bet you're just so glad you
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: don't have to mom for a second, huh? Bring it.
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: Oh, yes.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 1:00:43Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: I was so excited when they went back to school.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Well, good luck to you.
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: Well, Katie's going to get out of the studio.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: She goes into a room where she can't hear anything.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: I come up with a question so there's no cheating,
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: and then we'll find out.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: If you're right or wrong.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Once we bring Katie Kat back in the studios, and
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: she's in there.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: All right, let's go ahead and get it started. Michelle,
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: please tell me, which fast food restaurant has square hamburger patties?
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: Wendy's.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Did you say Wendy's?
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: Wendy's.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: All right, your phone was cut. All right, here's your
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: second question. What famous pop star revealed her pregnancy during
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: her Super Bowl halftime performance in 2023?
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: You cut out. Can you say that one more time?
- 1:01:28Speaker 9: Sure.
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: Something halftime performance?
- 1:01:30Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: I need you to put your left arm up in
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: the air so you get a good signal.
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: Ooh, it's still choppy.
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: What famous pop star revealed her pregnancy during her Super
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Bowl performance in 2023?
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: Rihanna. All right. And your third question.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: What's the name of Doug's wife on the TV show
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: King of Queens?
- 1:01:51Speaker 14: I can't.
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: I need an answer.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Hurry.
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:02:01Speaker 13: What TV show again?
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: King of Queens. Don't Google it.
- 1:02:04Speaker 14: Oh, King of Queens.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Oh, Doug and.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: You don't know how you're going to pass? I think
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: you said pass. Your phone sucks right now.
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: Okay, sorry.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: Go run to a different room.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: Which food did TV commercials compare your brain to in
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: the This Is Your Brain on Drugs campaign?
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: What was that food?
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Oats.
- 1:02:31Speaker 13: Oats?
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: Oats.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: Quaker Oats, huh? Quaker Oats, I guess. That's fantastic. Here
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: is your fifth question.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: What's the name of the family dog on the.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: TV show Full House?
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Comet.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: Comet.
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: All right, let's bring Katie back in here. Let me
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: add up how many you got right. All right, Katrina.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You ready? Ready.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Ready.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: Yeah, girl.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: Yeah, girl. All right, Katie.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: I don't even know why I put this one in here, honestly.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: I really don't, now that I've already read it. And
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: you are our foodie.
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: Oh, yay.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I love the food ones.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: This is stupid of me. Which fast food restaurant has
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: square hamburger patties?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Oh, that's Dave with his Wendy's. Why did I even? Why?
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Why did I think that was a good idea?
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: Why?
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: Michelle got that, too.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Oh, good job, Michelle.
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: Hey.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Good job.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Hey.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: What famous pop star revealed her pregnancy during her Super
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Bowl halftime performance back in 2023?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Oh, and then all the pictures of a pregnant Rihanna
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: hit your screen, right? Oh, it's Riri.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: Michelle got that right, too. Oh, I'm impressed. Michelle, are
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: you still there?
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: Yes, I am still here.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: Just wanted to make sure your phone's still working.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Katie, what is the name of Doug's wife on the
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: TV show King of Queens?
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Doug and Carrie.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Michelle, I think you said something that wasn't right and
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: then you passed or something because your phone sucked.
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I know her real name, which is Leah Remini,
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: but I do not remember her character.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: She'd get half a point for that.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: Nah, she doesn't get it. She's not getting nothing. She
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: ain't getting nothing.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: What food did TV commercials compare your brain to with
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: the whole this is your brain on drugs campaign? What
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: was that food they compared?
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Oh, this is your brain.
- 1:04:27Speaker 12: Crack.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: This is your brain on drugs. It was an egg.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Michelle, for some weird reason, said oats. Do you remember
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: those where they had your brain and it was an egg?
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: And he goes, this is your brain on drugs. And
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: he put it in a frying pan.
