- 0:02Speaker 1: Fan of the Darky Big Show podcast, make sure you
- 0:04Speaker 1: check out more from Jay, Smoke and Kezy on our
- 0:07Speaker 1: Instagram at Hodaky Big Show, patching into them four to
- 0:10Speaker 1: seven every weekday on Radio Hadarky.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Thanks, mate, just realized there's a mode of filth in
- 0:20Speaker 2: front of me. What do you mean just dirty caps
- 0:23Speaker 2: and stuff?
- 0:23Speaker 3: How you going, Jace?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Good? Thanks for feeling good.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Are you still human?
- 0:28Speaker 4: You look good, Jess.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I'll be honest with you. I'm still human.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I can tell me too, I'm human.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Are you human?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Pugs?
- 0:37Speaker 4: Not at all?
- 0:38Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 0:39Speaker 4: I am all. I am as excited are you?
- 0:42Speaker 2: What are you excited about?
- 0:43Speaker 4: Pugs to go back to the bench.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you do it properly.
- 0:46Speaker 3: This time I was putuing like a whole day of us,
- 0:48Speaker 3: you know, playing some beats. Jason's got us right out.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I was, man, it was such a fucking good day too.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Yeah it was.
- 0:56Speaker 2: It was. It was such a nice I could not
- 0:59Speaker 2: have asked for a bit of day for the batch
- 1:01Speaker 2: high tied at three. I just can't tell you felt.
- 1:09Speaker 2: And then you know, then the Test match of course.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Yeah, the All Blacks were on. Although you're acting like
- 1:13Speaker 3: there's never going to be a nice day at the
- 1:15Speaker 3: batch again.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Well you know, you never know, but also at that
- 1:21Speaker 4: batch if it was passing down with rain.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Heat is ones absolute travesty. And the owner of the batch,
- 1:31Speaker 2: as I, as I've already outlined to you Fellas, was
- 1:34Speaker 2: pretty bloody sorry about what had happened. In fact, he
- 1:39Speaker 2: rang me and then he rang my wife and then
- 1:41Speaker 2: he wanted to ring you Fellas personally. Wow, I don't
- 1:45Speaker 2: don't worry about that.
- 1:47Speaker 3: No, that's sweet. Probably going you just pass on what
- 1:49Speaker 3: he said, Yeah, what did you say?
- 1:53Speaker 2: Just that he was very apologetic and I want a bastard,
- 1:59Speaker 2: I'm so sorry.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Did he does he have a calendar system?
- 2:02Speaker 2: He does have a calendar system and he said, I didn't.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I don't know what I did. I don't know what
- 2:06Speaker 2: I've done, right, and so I've obviously just haven't entered it.
- 2:08Speaker 4: And then maybe and put a funny date or something
- 2:12Speaker 4: yes for us.
- 2:14Speaker 2: And as I was saying, the irony is now, of course,
- 2:17Speaker 2: is that it's free forever now the batch.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Is he moving away?
- 2:21Speaker 2: No, he's going over to Europe. But he said, no
- 2:24Speaker 2: one's booked it, there's no more bookings.
- 2:32Speaker 4: You just do It was a tiny little belch that had.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You just rip out a beouch.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I'm very apologetic about that. Well, let's just book it
- 2:40Speaker 4: out man, every weekend this yeah, yeah.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Well yeah, I'm looking at my calendar now.
- 2:46Speaker 4: You know.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Can I just say this to you fellows too. As
- 2:49Speaker 2: we're driving out there, I was fizzing going yes, and
- 2:52Speaker 2: I was like, God, imagine if.
- 2:53Speaker 4: We could tell by the way you were driving.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Imagine if we if we turned up and someone was there,
- 2:59Speaker 2: Imagine that. And then, because I have a tendency to
- 3:02Speaker 2: think that kind of thought, and I chastised myself while
- 3:07Speaker 2: I was thinking, and I went, no, keV, yeah, don't
- 3:11Speaker 2: really a good thing, a positive thing, by stupid thoughts
- 3:15Speaker 2: like that.
- 3:15Speaker 4: The one time you talk yourself down from your anxiety is.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And it happens, Which is always the weirdest thing about
- 3:22Speaker 2: my anxiety is when I don't talk myself down, of
- 3:25Speaker 2: course it doesn't happen, no, But if I do talk
- 3:27Speaker 2: myself down, it happened.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Yes.
- 3:30Speaker 3: So the funniest part was the same with me as well.
- 3:32Speaker 3: When you dropped me and Pugs off in the middle
- 3:34Speaker 3: of nowhere in the dark, we loaded all our belongings
- 3:36Speaker 3: into your car and you drove off, being like, all right, fellows,
- 3:39Speaker 3: i'll see you soon. It's like a five minute walk.
- 3:41Speaker 3: And then you drove down this little ramp onto the
- 3:43Speaker 3: beach and then across to the right, and it was
- 3:45Speaker 3: pitch black and we just had our phone torches and
- 3:48Speaker 3: you were like, you'll see me turn the batch lights on,
- 3:51Speaker 3: and I was okay. And as we're walking along, I
- 3:53Speaker 3: was like, pugs, have you seen him turn any batch
- 3:55Speaker 3: lights on yet?
- 3:56Speaker 2: Nah?
- 3:56Speaker 3: I think you're driven off.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Or it was right round the corner of a bit,
- 3:59Speaker 4: like taking a bit like a bend, like from the
- 4:01Speaker 4: beach where we were, and we've gone past.
- 4:03Speaker 2: As I was driving along just that because as you know,
- 4:10Speaker 2: there's a cluster of batches there, and just going I
- 4:14Speaker 2: see lights on around where his batches and I'm like,
- 4:19Speaker 2: fucking no, no. And then as I got a little
- 4:24Speaker 2: bit closer, I was like, oh, thank god, it's the neighbors.
- 4:28Speaker 2: It's the neighbors. And then as they got a little
- 4:31Speaker 2: bit closer, I noticed, you know, the little red house
- 4:34Speaker 2: lights were on, and I went they don't have lights
- 4:37Speaker 2: up that high, and my heart dropped through my nurse
- 4:44Speaker 2: onto my feet, and I part the car and slammed
- 4:49Speaker 2: the door and was fucking.
- 4:54Speaker 4: I literally thought you were pulling a massive wind up
- 4:57Speaker 4: with us because we're walking along the beach without fe
- 5:00Speaker 4: talked to him and like, where the hell's this batch?
- 5:01Speaker 4: And then we see your little phone light float out
- 5:04Speaker 4: into the dark, and we're like, oh, here he is,
- 5:06Speaker 4: here's Jason. And and then I see as we get
- 5:09Speaker 4: closer that you're holding your phone up to your ear.
- 5:11Speaker 4: And then all I can hear you say is there's
- 5:14Speaker 4: two other fucking couples there or something like that, and
- 5:17Speaker 4: I was like, there's no way, like this has to be.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I wish it was, man, I wish it.
- 5:24Speaker 4: That would have been a great wine.
- 5:25Speaker 2: How how big show is that?
- 5:27Speaker 3: Though? Very big show is so big show big show?
- 5:29Speaker 2: And the other thing is too because Mogi was going
- 5:31Speaker 2: to come along and he turned up, but then he said,
- 5:35Speaker 2: oh enough, you can't do it. Allows can't do.
- 5:37Speaker 3: It, and he can't even this is three days ago
- 5:39Speaker 3: and he can't even come to work today.
- 5:41Speaker 2: And it's like the one positive of that was think,
- 5:47Speaker 2: fuck he didn't come, because we would have had to
- 5:50Speaker 2: turn around and it would have been in total of
- 5:52Speaker 2: four four hour round trap.
- 5:55Speaker 3: To be fair, though, Friday night, I felt like we
- 5:57Speaker 3: had a good night.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Yeah, it was sick.
- 6:00Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show week days from four on
- 6:03Speaker 1: Radio Hierarchy, remember the Warchy Big Show podcast.
- 6:08Speaker 2: It's just that I know what the batch's like and
- 6:10Speaker 2: I know what it had to offer, and so.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yeah, we were just scratching the surface.
- 6:14Speaker 2: It was nagging me so badly.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Well, Jace, I think it's behind us.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Now.
- 6:18Speaker 3: We'll lock on a date once Mogi's back. Yes, and
- 6:23Speaker 3: obviously we'll keep a backup plan just in case it's not.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Fuck it. And this is the other really irritating thing.
- 6:30Speaker 2: It's never happened in twenty years.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Really, Yes, it's amazing.
- 6:35Speaker 3: So there is a system because I just thought there
- 6:37Speaker 3: wasn't a system.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Yeah, no, there is a system, right, okay, because I
- 6:40Speaker 2: couldn't make sense of it either.
- 6:41Speaker 3: It was like, what the fuck was your wife human?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yeah? She was gutted. Well you remember on the night
- 6:48Speaker 2: I said to you, she sends her apologies to you both. Ye, yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 2: because she was like, I'm so gutted for you guys,
- 6:55Speaker 2: and I know how much you were looking forward to it.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Yeah, we were, especially Jason Olives And it's one hundred
- 7:03Speaker 4: million dollars worth of cheeses.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I spent some serious cash. Man.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I ended up with your cheese balls, and you ended
- 7:11Speaker 4: up with my lighter.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I was at your lighter, yeah, and I ended up
- 7:16Speaker 2: with your.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Cuts, my peak FORSTRAMI and my shridded chicken.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Man. I had the chicken Marabella, of course, which was
- 7:23Speaker 2: fucking beautiful cheese sport. I was going to cook you
- 7:27Speaker 2: a beautiful organic bacon. I was going to cook your
- 7:30Speaker 2: bacon and eggs in the morning. There.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I think I ended up with a box of export
- 7:36Speaker 3: or did I give those to you?
- 7:37Speaker 4: You gave me those, which was very kind.
- 7:39Speaker 3: And a block of chocolate.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yeah, you keep the chocolate.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I just keep the chocolate because I love that chocolate.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Well, I and I had a fridge full of cheese.
- 7:46Speaker 4: When I got home, I smashed a bag of Cheetos
- 7:48Speaker 4: and I was gutted. I was like the fellas on
- 7:50Speaker 4: thist and out right, Now were they good on the
- 7:52Speaker 4: hot Cheetah? Well, it's not quite the same as when
- 7:54Speaker 4: it would have been on Friday night.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what what.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Are you talking about?
- 8:01Speaker 2: And one of the other things we found out was
- 8:04Speaker 2: that old.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Pugson we're not.
- 8:06Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying what a poker player.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I think you Yeah, yeah, man, he let's just say
- 8:11Speaker 3: he was confident.
- 8:12Speaker 4: With us out.
- 8:15Speaker 2: He was flopping it out on the on the desk.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Yeah. And if you do listen to the Batch Special,
- 8:21Speaker 3: I think ninety percent of it involves Pugstarn and has
- 8:23Speaker 3: an atom.
- 8:25Speaker 4: From memory listening, because I listened back through it today
- 8:27Speaker 4: just to double Okay, it was fine. It's literally like
- 8:30Speaker 4: the first half is Efan and Jeff and and then
- 8:33Speaker 4: it just it just delves into trying to string a
- 8:36Speaker 4: coherent sentence together about me having a huge downstairs.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Meant hysterical laugh.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Met hysterical after that's right. But I tell you what, like,
- 8:47Speaker 4: I think we should do more stuff like that, like
- 8:49Speaker 4: special podcasts, and well that's quite obviously. Next time we
- 8:53Speaker 4: go we'll do the same thing.
- 8:54Speaker 2: And I love to set up man. Yeah, it's a
- 8:57Speaker 2: good little system mate, Yeah, real easy. Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 3: And then yeah, there's something about us, even though we
- 9:03Speaker 3: do it in here every day, doing that somewhere at
- 9:06Speaker 3: a special time and a special location is quite fun.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Also in the middle of the night that was so cool.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Also whilst we're all quite steamed I don't know, why
- 9:14Speaker 3: are you trying to put on this image like you
- 9:16Speaker 3: don't get steamed, you don't have a messive downstairs, you see,
- 9:18Speaker 3: to face the facts, Pug, one of those things is true.
- 9:22Speaker 2: But a bit of the old, A bit of the old.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I don't know what you're talking about, Basil. We had
- 9:31Speaker 3: Margarita's at one point Margarita pizzas the pug flute having
- 9:37Speaker 3: a toot on the pug on the pug sun flute
- 9:40Speaker 3: or something the pug.
- 9:44Speaker 4: I can't remember.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember it being really funny at the time though.
- 9:48Speaker 2: As as it is at the time, Yes, to it now.
- 9:53Speaker 4: It's very much contagious laughter. Whether that goes outside of
- 9:57Speaker 4: the three of us listening back.
- 9:59Speaker 3: It was just Jason Ages cracking himself up and like
- 10:02Speaker 3: crying with laughter over the fact that you've got a
- 10:03Speaker 3: massive downstairs. Yeah, so Ages like fifteen minute.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Was yeah, it was.
- 10:09Speaker 3: It was a long just beside himself.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Oh God, maybe we shouldn't put it.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Out, No, we definitely should. It's going out.
- 10:16Speaker 3: It's out, no, is it? Well? When people are listening
- 10:20Speaker 3: to this, it's out.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Oh yeah, one hundred percent is out right now.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Four o'clock.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I reckon because then you guys can plug it
- 10:25Speaker 4: on the show. Yeah, but then it'll be ready for
- 10:27Speaker 4: people to listen before the actual show podcasts come out.
- 10:30Speaker 4: I guess it's decent logic and I can do a
- 10:31Speaker 4: post about it.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Yeah, what do you reckon? The chances are that Mogi
- 10:34Speaker 3: is with us tomorrow and Nelson.
- 10:36Speaker 4: I think he's definitely doing that now that because somebody
- 10:39Speaker 4: was saying before, once you get the antibiotics in here,
- 10:41Speaker 4: they start to work pretty quick.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Yeah. The first like twenty four hours is pretty full
- 10:44Speaker 3: on in terms of their work that they do.
- 10:47Speaker 4: M So I think he will be and how happy
- 10:51Speaker 4: he'll be about that, I'm not sure because I wouldn't
- 10:56Speaker 4: be if I felt.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Like I see. Yeah, there's slightly gnarly times in terms
- 11:01Speaker 2: of getting to the airport and leaving. What do you
- 11:04Speaker 2: mean peak our kind of times?
- 11:07Speaker 4: Yeah, but you go early anyway.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll go mega early.
- 11:10Speaker 3: I'll go I'm gonna my text will pick me up
- 11:12Speaker 3: at six Jesus the early flights eight. It's half an
- 11:17Speaker 3: hour to get there. You've got a taxi booked, no, no,
- 11:20Speaker 3: no no, and then I'll be in the Kordu there
- 11:22Speaker 3: for like an hour yeah, and I'll be with you man,
- 11:24Speaker 3: I'll meet you there.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll make you a bit of turn up. Or
- 11:26Speaker 2: I'll be with the filth.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Yeah you will be Jason, you are the filth.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Jez Man. Hey, listen to the Hurdack, you big show
- 11:38Speaker 3: four or seven every single weekday and it's super good.
- 11:41Speaker 3: That's on Radio Hurdache by the way, Bye, thank you
- 11:46Speaker 2: Se.
