- 0:00Silver just had a massive change.
- 0:03Are you ready for 91 hundred 120 or higher silver prices?
- 0:09What about 70 or $80 silver? Hey guys, We got to
- 0:14differentiate between what we're talking about on a short term
- 0:18basis and a long term basis. And we've got some big major
- 0:22developing stories that we are going to cover together today
- 0:26here in the basement that'll give us the vision as to where
- 0:29we silver and gold for that matter, going on both a short
- 0:34term and a long term basis. So thank you for being down here
- 0:37in the basement with me. I feel like we're all friends
- 0:40down here. It gets crowded in the basement
- 0:43and we have 10s of thousands of people joining us on these live
- 0:47streams. It's only because of you.
- 0:49So thank you. Please give it a thumbs up.
- 0:52Subscribe to the channel. Super chats are never expected
- 0:56but always appreciated. And leave a comment in the
- 0:58comment section. Why don't we start by going out
- 1:01and taking a look at the volatility.
- 1:03And then we're going to dig into the charts for some clues.
- 1:06And then we got a lot more to cover, including China, right?
- 1:09I'll ring the gong for you, don't you worry.
- 1:11And a number of other big stories, including Trump.
- 1:14But let's head out here to Kitco and take a look.
- 1:19Am I on the wrong screen? Hold on one second here, guys.
- 1:22Susie upstairs. Susie is not here today.
- 1:27Hold on one second, wrong screen.
- 1:29That's first. Mining gold.
- 1:30Now we're on Kid Co. I apologize for that.
- 1:33Kid Co gold and silver spot prices, which are showing us
- 1:38that right now we're down $1.35 and silver.
- 1:42Gold. Silver's been much more volatile
- 1:44than gold as of late. Gold down just a hair, still
- 1:47holding building right above $5000 per oz.
- 1:51But let's focus in on silver and some very interesting
- 1:55developments right now on the silver chart.
- 1:58Oren, our friend Oren Elbaz, great analyst, great guy that
- 2:02I've talked to you over the past couple years, had this to say.
- 2:06How many times did they try to knock silver down below $80 per
- 2:11oz in the last 48 hours? This is the eighth attempt and
- 2:16counting. Somebody is getting desperate
- 2:19and take a look at this chart, guys.
- 2:21In the last 48 hours, they've attempted to break that 80, and
- 2:25they're doing it right now. It's going to be very
- 2:28interesting to see how the rest of this day plays out in the
- 2:33silver market. I'm going to go against the
- 2:35grain because a lot of the technical analysis analysts
- 2:37right now are saying, oh, now silver is going to pull back to
- 2:4070 or even $65 range. I think we're in for a surprise,
- 2:46OK? I think that we're in for two
- 2:48weeks, 3 weeks from now, silver prices in the mid to high 90s
- 2:54and, and I feel very strongly about that.
- 2:57But remember, OK, it's time for that.
- 3:00Look, we got to be big boys and girls.
- 3:02Remember, volatility is part of the game.
- 3:06Nothing goes straight up forever.
- 3:09Long term, I believe 195% that we're going to have silver
- 3:13prices that'll that would make our head spin right now.
- 3:17But part of anything going up huge in price, big upward moves
- 3:22are also accompanied by big volatility.
- 3:25Look at what happened with gold during the Weimar period in
- 3:28Germany. I mean, gold just shot up in
- 3:31price, OK. But on a month by month basis
- 3:34there was radical, I mean crazy volatility.
- 3:37So I know it's no fun. I don't like pulling up charts
- 3:40and saying, oh, look, it's red. I don't like pulling up wedge
- 3:43charts and triangle charts and saying, oh, we're breaking down,
- 3:46blah, blah. But it's part of the process.
- 3:49It's part of the game. No pain, no gain.
- 3:53Anyhow, let's go look at some more charts, get some more bad
- 3:56news about Silver. And maybe not all bad news, but
- 4:00here we go. This is another one from Oren
- 4:04yesterday. I'm more optimistic that
- 4:06yesterday Silver passed the test.
- 4:08Very important for it to close the day above the two critical
- 4:11support levels, the $80 horizontal support in the lower
- 4:15bound of its Pennant formation. OK, And there's that chart right
- 4:20there. Now we're going to skew up.
- 4:22Hold on, Susie's going to be calling me here in a second.
- 4:26Here we go. I'm sorry, I forgot to share the
- 4:27screen upstairs. Susie is away from the house for
- 4:31a little bit here. We make sure I got that up for
- 4:33you, which I did. That's the OREN chart, right,
- 4:36$80 being so critical. Do you think we'll close above
- 4:40$80 today? I do.
- 4:42I'm going to be optimistic, and I'm not usually the most
- 4:46optimistic guy out there. This was the -1 that I wanted to
- 4:50point out. Silver trade said silver has
- 4:54broken down below its triangle flag pattern with a daily close
- 5:01below the bottom trend line. Silver is currently.
- 5:03There's something very interesting though that they
- 5:06bring up at the end of the Silver's currently attempting to
- 5:08mount a rally back into its four month triangle.
- 5:11It needs to succeed quickly. We are right with all these
- 5:15triangles. We are a do or die time for this
- 5:17to be a false breakdown before an upside breakout.
- 5:21If the bottom trend line becomes resistance on the retest, more
- 5:26short term pain is likely ahead for silver prices.
- 5:29However, in the medium and long term, further price weakness in
- 5:35silver will likely only exacerbate the escalating silver
- 5:42supply crisis. Think about that, right?
- 5:45The reason why that is so powerful and so critical.
- 5:49If they're able to push silver down to $70.00 an ounce, If
- 5:53they're able to push silver down to 65 or $63 per oz, think about
- 5:59it. People are going to come in.
- 6:01China and India are going to come in and buy up silver.
- 6:05There's already a silver inventory crisis at the Shanghai
- 6:10Futures Exchange. We're going to look, we're going
- 6:12to hear about breaking news about the inventory at the
- 6:15Shanghai Gold Exchange. There's hardly anything left at
- 6:18the COMEX in the registered vaults in the in the in the
- 6:23other one, whatever eligible, the other one that supposedly
- 6:27his own that it's in trouble too.
- 6:29So what he's saying, which is powerful is if we do, I don't
- 6:33think we will. But if we do and we certainly
- 6:36could, please always be prepared for anything.
- 6:39Silver can be volatile, but if we do get that price draw down
- 6:44in silver to 64 or $65 per oz, people are going to come in and
- 6:50buy it like crazy. And that could, that could like
- 6:54blow up the whole, you know, there's not a lot of physical
- 6:58silver available in the world right now.
- 7:01So while that's a negative development on the charts and
- 7:05charts smarts, you know, I mean technical analysis, I, I really
- 7:09only like it when it says good things about silver.
- 7:13But even the technical analysis people will tell you there's a
- 7:18degree of witchcraft involved in it.
- 7:21All right, let's go back tonight.
- 7:22This is shocking about silver. I saw this one yesterday and it
- 7:26made my made my head spin around a little bit.
- 7:29Let's pull this up and this comes to us from our good friend
- 7:35Traditional money in 1965. Wait, this is crazy.
- 7:40Minimum wage bought you one ounce of silver at A at $1.25 an
- 7:47hour in 1965. The minimum wage would buy you
- 7:52one ounce of real silver. Fast forward to 2026, that same
- 7:58silver $78. OK, that would mean that if if
- 8:02the minimum wage was still the same that it was in 1965 and was
- 8:08and was and would buy you one ounce of silver, the minimum
- 8:11wage would have to be $78 per hour.
- 8:15Could you imagine a minimum wage worker being able to go out and
- 8:19buy one ounce of silver? Now, what does that tell us,
- 8:22right. Oh yeah.
- 8:23Any of those, they're not talk. They're not that.
- 8:26We don't hear them as often now as we did six months or a year,
- 8:30especially 3 or 4 years ago. Those people that would say, oh,
- 8:34silver and gold, they're barbarous relics.
- 8:36They're a bad no. I think the people in 1965, this
- 8:40house was built in 1965. That means if the guys working
- 8:44down here in the basement were making minimum wage, they could
- 8:48go out and buy an ounce of silver for each hour they
- 8:51worked. And they're going to tell us
- 8:52that silver and gold weren't a good investment.
- 8:54I think it sure beat the dollar. That's obvious, right?
- 8:58And I think if we look over more long term, wait till wait till
- 9:01you see the data, We got a piece of data from the bald guy that
- 9:05we're going to look at as well about silver.
- 9:06I mean, silver, the numbers are astounding.
- 9:09Gold too, right? I mean, it's a it's absolutely
- 9:13nutty out there. Let's go to the bald guy.
- 9:15The Bald Guy Money is a channel of a YouTube content creator in
- 9:21the precious metal sector who's super, super sharp.
- 9:24I consider him a friend and he puts out some of the best
- 9:27content ever and he shared this yesterday.
- 9:30This is a one year comparison. All right, let's take a deep
- 9:35breath and realize, like Bald Guy Money tells us, just one
- 9:39year ago, silver was the number 8 asset on this list, trading
- 9:45below $35.00 an ounce today #2 trading around $80 per oz.
- 9:51Just a friendly reminder to quote UN quote, keep it real.
- 9:55This is a list of the top assets by market cap in the world.
- 10:00All assets, including public companies.
- 10:03Precious models, crypto and ETFs and this is the current list.
- 10:08Gold number one with a $35 trillion market cap.
- 10:12Silver number 2 with a $4.5 trillion market cap.
- 10:16Now if we go back one year to February 4th when ball guy made
- 10:20a similar post, right, he says gold approaching a 20 trillion
- 10:24market cap, which we know it's nearly doubled, but look back
- 10:28one year ago, silver is all the way.
- 10:32See if we can get this up. Silver's all the way down here
- 10:37at #8 OK. Back then, Bitcoin, Google,
- 10:42Amazon, NVIDIA, Microsoft and Apple were all more valuable
- 10:47than silver today. All right?
- 10:50Yeah, let's just say we moved on up, right, moving on up like
- 10:55George Jefferson and Weezy did to the to the West side or
- 10:58whatever. So, you know, let's keep things
- 11:00in perspective guys. It can get very easy to get
- 11:04frustrated about about short term noise, but remember, like
- 11:09we talked about at the beginning of this video, there's a
- 11:11difference between looking at precious metals over a short
- 11:15term, daily, monthly, even quarterly basis and the long
- 11:20term. It depends on your time horizon.
- 11:22I have a very long time horizon for silver, gold and the
- 11:26precious metals mining stocks. Speaking of precious metal
- 11:29mining stocks, I do want to say thank you to channel sponsor
- 11:32right there, First Mining Gold. They're a Canadian developer of
- 11:36gold projects. They have two huge projects in
- 11:39Canada, each separately have millions of Oz of gold in the
- 11:45ground, spring pole in Ontario and Du Parquet located in
- 11:50Quebec. You can learn all about both of
- 11:53them on their website, firstmininggold.com.
- 11:56Thank you First Mining Gold for sponsoring Ron's Basement, the
- 12:00LBMA, the London Bullion Market Association, those fine people
- 12:04over in London who get the set the price of gold and silver
- 12:09right. They're kind of associated with
- 12:10this other market called the LME, the London Metals Exchange.
- 12:14Guys, the LME shut down yesterday.
- 12:17Look at this. And and a keen piece of insight
- 12:20from I believe, Homza, our friend Homza Serenade.
- 12:25Hopefully I pronounced that correctly.
- 12:27He says what a coincidence. First there were two outages at
- 12:32the Comex, remember 1 after the day after Thanksgiving because
- 12:36it was too hot in Chicago at the data center when it was like -5°
- 12:42in Chicago anyway. And then the one that happened
- 12:45more recently, I don't know, did they ever give us a real reason,
- 12:48a technical glitch? I think the most recent Comex
- 12:51outage was due to a Stampede coming through their data
- 12:55center, a Stampede of silver bowls.
- 12:58Anyway, now, now the London Metals Exchange halts trading
- 13:03across the metals from aluminum to zinc.
- 13:05This happened yesterday. We're going to look at the
- 13:07Bloomberg article here in a second, he says.
- 13:10But sure, everything in the metals market is perfectly fine,
- 13:15absolutely fine, right? Nothing to see here.
- 13:18Move on. Just a few technical issues at
- 13:22the world's largest exchanges. Meanwhile, the physical market
- 13:27keeps tightening. And don't forget what Silver
- 13:30Trade said earlier. If they push silver down, that
- 13:33physical market is going to get even tighter because people are
- 13:36going to be rushing to buy silver.
- 13:38If silver prints a price that starts with a six that isn't
- 13:42600, I will reinitiate my silver purchases.
- 13:47OK, totally normal. And there's the the Bloomberg
- 13:50article. Guys, look, look, these
- 13:53exchanges are designed with robust backup systems.
- 13:57Nothing's perfect, I get it. But it is very suspicious that
- 14:01both the COMEX and the LME have had trading halts or shutdowns
- 14:07due to technical issues. Let's learn about what the LME
- 14:10is. We hear about the LBMA and the
- 14:12LME. I got a quick piece.
- 14:14Let's do a little bit of learning here so we get a good
- 14:18differentiation between these, the LBMA, the London Bullion
- 14:21Market Association and the LME, the London Metal Exchange serve
- 14:25different roles. There's a difference between the
- 14:28LBMA and the LME. The LBMA, it is the global
- 14:34authority for the wholesale over the counter market for gold and
- 14:39silver, also known as, as we understand it, the spot market.
- 14:44It sets the good delivery standards for bullion bars and
- 14:48overseas. The LBMA gold and silver prices,
- 14:52which are worldwide benchmarks for physical metal.
- 14:58Yeah, sure, unless you talk to people in China or India, right.
- 15:03India is moving away from the LBMA.
- 15:05So that's that's the LBMAI digress.
- 15:08I won't go down that path. Oh yeah, the LBMA sets the
- 15:11physical price for silver that nobody pays.
- 15:14But anyway, I digress. LME, the London Metals Exchange.
- 15:18It is a future and options exchange primarily focused on
- 15:22industrial base metals like copper, aluminum, zinc, I think.
- 15:27What's the other one? Nickel.
- 15:28Remember the nickel market blew up a few years ago.
- 15:31Anyway, there was a nickel squeeze.
- 15:33However, the LME also provides electronic auction platform for
- 15:39LBMA, platinum and Palladium prices.
- 15:42This is where it gets confusing and offers its own gold, silver,
- 15:47gold and silver futures contract.
- 15:49So they purposely make this stuff very very confusing.
- 15:54The point is out of it all the paper make believe Western
- 15:58markets for the precious metals at minimum we can say are under
- 16:04some address. Everybody sees it, everybody
- 16:06knows it. I think even they admit it at
- 16:09this point. The eastern countries like China
- 16:13and India, wait till you hear about what's going on in China a
- 16:16little bit later and with Trump it's crazy.
- 16:19But those eastern countries who have massively faster growing
- 16:24economies, hundreds of millions of people moving into the
- 16:27consumer class. Hold on, think I got a text from
- 16:30Susie. I may have done something wrong.
- 16:33Super chat. Oh, cool.
- 16:36Everybody say hi to Susie. That's upstairs Susie.
- 16:39She's usually on a walkie-talkie, but she had to go
- 16:42away from the house for a while. Don't worry, I think our
- 16:45marriage is still in good shape. She'll be back on the
- 16:47walkie-talkie before you know it.
- 16:49I sure hope it is because I want to tell you something really
- 16:52quickly Upstairs Susie, you're the best.
- 16:54And I'm I she's gone for a day or so.
- 16:57I miss her. I even thought that this morning
- 16:59I'm tearing up. I was like, wow, it's not the
- 17:01same without me getting to bug her in the morning.
- 17:05So anyway, everybody say hi to upstairs Susie, she's the best.
- 17:08All right, let's move on because we got a crisis.
- 17:11This is not like over. This is not over dramatization.
- 17:15There is big trouble in the financial system in the United
- 17:19States right now and I'm going to tell you why.
- 17:22It's maybe even worse than what a lot of people are alluding to.
- 17:27We're talking about private credit.
- 17:28We're talking about private credit.
- 17:30Are these massive financial companies that were loaning
- 17:33billions, trillions of dollars to companies to a lot of like
- 17:38maybe higher risk people and and telling people they were going
- 17:42to get them better returns. It's a lot like the
- 17:45mortgage-backed security scam that happened in O7 and O8 that
- 17:49nobody went to jail for. This could This could easily
- 17:52ignite another major period of financial turmoil in the United
- 17:59States of America. But don't worry, right?
- 18:02Our good, our good leaders in Washington will save us.
- 18:05But let's talk about why this is becoming such a massive, major
- 18:10deal. Hold on.
- 18:13Wrong sheet. Darn it.
- 18:14Where? Why am I?
- 18:15Here we go. Sorry, I'm out of order now.
- 18:18You should be looking at it. This is from Michael Gayed.
- 18:22He's a CFA. OK, everyone's focused on
- 18:25Hormuz, which is a big story, right?
- 18:28But the real story is in private credit, 40% of borrowers have
- 18:33negative cash flow. Gates are closing, redemption
- 18:37queues are forming, Right? We know the whatever it is, Blue
- 18:40Owl, Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, BlackRock.
- 18:46OK Blackstone. Who birthed BlackRock?
- 18:49Blackrock's like the biggest financial management company in
- 18:52the world, but they were birthed by a company called Blackstone.
- 18:56That that's like all they do is private credit.
- 18:58And all these companies are in a state of crisis.
- 19:01Their stocks are down. I looked at Blue Owl the other
- 19:04day. It's down like 66 or 67% from
- 19:08where it was not too long ago. This is getting serious, but
- 19:11what's even more serious about it is that chart that I'm going
- 19:15to talk about next, but I want to finish the last sentence.
- 19:17He says 2000. 2008 rhymed with mortgage-backed securities.
- 19:23I don't really see how it rhymes, but I think we get his
- 19:25point. 2026 rhymes with private credit and this is the big deal.
- 19:3340% of the borrowers in the private credit sector have
- 19:37negative cash flow. OK, why is that a big deal?
- 19:42And there we go. And that's going up and up and
- 19:45up year by year, negative cash flow.
- 19:48Let me give you a real easy example, OK, the the private
- 19:52credit sector is kind of sort of like the payday loan sector of
- 19:55the corporate lending world. They loan money to like risky
- 19:58software companies, all that that type of thing.
- 20:01Those companies that borrowed the money.
- 20:04Aren't making their they're spending more cash than they're
- 20:07bringing in. But wait, there's more because
- 20:10that would be like you OK going and wanting to take out a loan
- 20:15and you go talk to the people at the loan office at the payday
- 20:18loan. Please don't ever do that.
- 20:19But anyway. And you say, well, yeah, I can
- 20:22pay you back. And they look and they say, well
- 20:24you're you have negative cash flow, right?
- 20:26Your bills every month are $5000, but you're only bringing
- 20:31in $3000. How on earth are you ever going
- 20:35to pay it off? And I'm tell you what's
- 20:37happened. Then we're going to shut up and
- 20:38I'll be quiet. Not you.
- 20:40I'll shut up and we're going to move on to crazy news about
- 20:43China on a couple different levels.
- 20:46But but it's it's, it's, it's a situation, I guarantee it.
- 20:49Just like the mortgage-backed securities where these big
- 20:52financial companies were making massive fees, massive amounts of
- 20:56money, and they were doing it by bending the rules, right?
- 21:00Making bad investments, putting bad products together.
- 21:03It's probably right. I'm speculating with a
- 21:07relatively high degree of confidence, very similar to what
- 21:10they did with the mortgage-backed securities where
- 21:12there was a bunch of crappy loans that people would never be
- 21:15able to pay back, but they put them all together and sold them
- 21:19like, oh, this is the greatest thing ever, right?
- 21:21By this, you'll make 12 percent, 15%, right?
- 21:25And then, and then I get to make a, a $200,000 fee.
- 21:29Okay. Be prepared for private credit
- 21:32and when private credit, if it does, I don't have a crystal
- 21:35ball. Create a big financial turmoil
- 21:38event in this country. You can be sure of one thing.
- 21:41It's going to be good for silver and gold, just like the GFC was,
- 21:45just like the C-19 crisis was, because the only thing that
- 21:49they're going to be able to do is print, print, print money.
- 21:53That's all. The box was shaking.
- 21:57There he is, your old friend Jerome Powell, making his daily
- 22:00visit. All he knows to do, all he can
- 22:04do since he's been neutered is print, print, print.
- 22:07Right. That's toilet paper, $100 bills.
- 22:10I'm going to put that back. Maybe we'll get it out later.
- 22:15OK, Next, I'm all out of order here.
- 22:18I, I apologize. Oh, we're going to talk about
- 22:20crazy news about gold out of China, but let's let's first, I
- 22:26want to do this. Thank you.
- 22:28Thank you First Mint for sponsoring Ron's basement.
- 22:32First Mint is a silver exclusive mint located in the United
- 22:37States, Las Vegas, NV. But they get their silver
- 22:42directly out of the ground from the company that owns them First
- 22:45Majestic Silver from the mine to the mint where it's transformed

- 23:09earlier, right? We are it we, we you are you are
- 23:12helping to produce stress on the electronic markets, the paper
- 23:19markets when you hold any physical silver, but when you
- 23:22get it from first mint right literally coming from the mind

- 24:15First Mint. You guys have been so pleased
- 24:18with First Mint. It makes having them as a
- 24:20sponsor a real, real pleasure. OK, I'm all over the place.
- 24:25Let's go to China. I got a bear with me here.
- 24:29I'm going to find the right screen to share with you because
- 24:32this is interesting and here we go.
- 24:37I found it. Sorry about that guys.
- 24:39Solve Nettag 26% Hold on, I'm siren Woo woo woo. 26% of the
- 24:47Shanghai Gold Exchange Silverstock vanished last week.
- 24:53OK, the Shanghai Gold Exchange just released their weekly
- 24:57numbers and they show. I'm going to tell you why this
- 25:00is a big deal. Silver inventory fell 96 metric
- 25:05tons last week. Total silver inventory is now
- 25:09276 metric tons. A new record low record, low
- 25:16inventories, plus high demand plus high premium over the LBMA
- 25:19benchmark price proves there's still a hot market for silver,
- 25:24physical silver in China. Remember, right, the price of
- 25:27silver in China is like 10-15 dollars higher than the United
- 25:31States. But this is the physical market
- 25:35in China. The Shanghai Gold Exchange is,
- 25:39it's interesting what they do in China.
- 25:41If you want to trade silver on the Shanghai Gold Exchange, the
- 25:44silver has to actually be there. It can't be make believe silver
- 25:49and it has. Did you hear that record lows?
- 25:53Are we hearing record lows are or historic low levels of
- 25:57inventory at a lot of these exchanges?
- 25:59The Shanghai Futures Exchange last I saw had less than 10
- 26:02million oz and we know that the the COMEX registered inventory,
- 26:07which is the silver that backs the real silver that's in the
- 26:10vaults, that's actually there to back the silver contracts at the
- 26:13COMEX dropped like another 2 million oz yesterday below 80
- 26:19million to like 78. I mean, guys, it's getting
- 26:22interesting. And and Speaking of China, this
- 26:26really makes me very suspicious that there might be a lot bigger
- 26:32things going on in our world right now than a lot of us
- 26:36realize. And then especially the
- 26:38mainstream media is telling us. This made my Spidey senses go
- 26:42off and and I'm very, very suspicious about what is
- 26:47happening here. And this was this is the
- 26:49headline from Zero Hedge, but it's everywhere.
- 26:53OK, Donald Trump supposedly he cancelled the the summit between
- 26:59President Xi Jinping of China and Trump, which was supposed to
- 27:04be about a month from now, has been quote, UN quote, delayed or
- 27:10cancelled. I guess you could say, OK, Trump
- 27:12says that it was delayed of a month or so for the Trump G
- 27:17summit. China and the United States also
- 27:21ended trade talks. Interesting.
- 27:24OK, there's always the speculation with Taiwan and
- 27:27what's going on there in the Senate.
- 27:30Our Treasury Secretary noted that on any delay would be due
- 27:34to prosecuting war. OK, I don't know how you feel
- 27:38about this. And maybe I'm maybe I need to
- 27:41take off my tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist.
- 27:43But the fact that that summit was cancelled and it was
- 27:47scheduled, I believe for like a month from now, that just makes
- 27:51me think what the heck is going on.
- 27:53And of course, in the West, we're being told that it was
- 27:56Trump who cancelled it. But then I saw another headline
- 27:59right before I came on that that basically alluded to the fact
- 28:03that China like wasn't sad that Trump decided not to come to
- 28:09China. I don't know, guys,
- 28:11geopolitically, I'm not going to go too far down this rabbit
- 28:14hole, but we've got major geopolitical change happening in
- 28:18our world right now like we've never experienced before.
- 28:22Why is that important to us as precious metals investors?
- 28:25Because silver and gold are a safe haven asset.
- 28:29Silver and gold react very well to uncertainty.
- 28:32When companies, I'm sorry, when companies or countries, which is
- 28:36what I meant to say, they don't trust each other.
- 28:39Guess what? When China doesn't trust the
- 28:41United States, when Russia doesn't trust the United States?
- 28:45When, when I don't know, any country doesn't trust another
- 28:48country. Think about it.
- 28:50They don't trust their currencies either, huh.
- 28:54What do you think they trust? They trust silver and gold.
- 29:01Why do you think, wow, this is interesting, Why do you think
- 29:06the world central banks have been buying more gold than like
- 29:11any other time in history and it now accumulated more gold?
- 29:16These are the central banks, right?
- 29:18Accumulated more gold than U.S. Treasuries for the first time
- 29:22in, I don't know, 1520 years, Like for the first time in a
- 29:26long time. It's because there's massive
- 29:29uncertainty in the world. Now think about this.
- 29:33Those are the world central banks that are buying and
- 29:36holding almost more gold than ever.
- 29:39A lot, at minimum, the world. I got a secret for you.
- 29:43The central bankers, OK? They are the top of the
- 29:47financial system, food chain. They know more.
- 29:50They are the end. They are the insiders to the
- 29:54insiders. They're the ones who make the
- 29:56rules, right? The United States Federal
- 29:59Reserve, the Bank of Japan, the Bank of China, whatever they
- 30:03call it, whatever their names are.
- 30:05Switzerland, right? The, the Bank of England,
- 30:08whatever. Those guys, they're all buying
- 30:11gold, right? We don't.
- 30:13Here's a big key take away that we need to remember, OK?
- 30:18Don't listen to what they say, watch what they do.
- 30:26And we know what they're doing. They're buying precious battles,
- 30:30right? Remember when you were a little
- 30:32kid and grandpa told you actions speak louder than words?
- 30:37Well, that applies to what's going on in the world right now
- 30:41as well. Yes, I'm very, very.
- 30:43And then, OK, then we get this, this your proof.
- 30:45Proof's in the pudding, and I got some pudding for you.
- 30:48So watch this. This is super interesting.
- 30:51Major story getting massive, massive headline attention and
- 30:59we got it up and I'll tell you what this means.
- 31:02This is crazy. the United States has now net settled in gold, its
- 31:08trade deficit with China in three of the last four months.
- 31:13Why a higher gold price is now in the US national interest.
- 31:19So what is going on? OK, Is that is that the United
- 31:24States has a trade, trade deficit with China.
- 31:27We owe them money basically, for all intents and purposes, that
- 31:31is being settled with gold. OK, They're sucking our gold out
- 31:36of the country. They're not taking it out of
- 31:37Fort Knox. We're not saying that.
- 31:39But the but the net effect of what they're doing is taking
- 31:43physical gold out of the United States.
- 31:47But think about this and we know that's been going on, right?
- 31:51Chinas importing gold, China, India, all of them importing
- 31:54gold. Same things true with India.
- 31:56But think about this, if, if this is to continue, which very
- 32:01likely it will, remember countries don't trust countries
- 32:04anymore, it's then going to be in the best interest of the
- 32:08United States of America to have a super high gold price.
- 32:14Because that means whatever, whatever the Chinese are taking
- 32:17out of the United States in that net settlement amount, right?
- 32:22We want that to be gold that's at the highest price possible.
- 32:25Because then, yeah, you guessed it, we don't have to send as
- 32:29many ounces to China to net settle that trade deficit
- 32:33situation. The world is changing like
- 32:36never, ever before. It is super, super interesting.
- 32:40And then, but wait, there's more.
- 32:42Eventually, after the Chinese get all the gold in the world, I
- 32:46mean, the world's going to probably wobble when we're
- 32:49spinning on our axis soon, while the gold China's accumulating,
- 32:53they're going to want the gold price to go up as well.
- 32:56So first the United States, then China.
- 32:58It's getting super interesting. Furthermore, right, to show you
- 33:03how crazy the demand for gold and silver are in China, get a
- 33:08load of this. This came from, hold on here,
- 33:12our good friend, the Oriental ghost, right, the trusted and
- 33:17I'm going to share that screen so Susie doesn't have to call
- 33:19me. And then I got to check the
- 33:21Super chat and Susie, if there's anything else, send me a text
- 33:24now. But guys, this comes from the
- 33:26Oriental ghost. This is interesting breaking
- 33:29news, Chinese hold on and a little tech issue.
- 33:34Hopefully, you guys, hopefully you can see me and hear me.
- 33:38Chinese major banks are planning to restrict the purchase of the
- 33:44accumulated gold and tighten the delivery of physical gold.
- 33:50So I dug into this, right? And what this is accumulated
- 33:54gold is if you live in China, so you'd be a Chinese person.
- 33:58Hold on. We always like gongs are from
- 34:02China. Imagine yourself as a Chinese
- 34:07person. You live in China, you don't
- 34:08trust the paper currency because they don't OK, But the bank says
- 34:12we got these great products, they're called accumulated gold.
- 34:15You put in, I don't know, CNÂ¥100 a month or whatever it is,
- 34:19right? And it, it accumulates in an
- 34:21account and then eventually when it reaches a certain level, you,
- 34:25we buy physical gold for you with this product.
- 34:28That's what they're accumulated gold product is.
- 34:31But now China, because there's AI mean there has to be a
- 34:35shortage of gold. Why else would they do this?
- 34:38The Chinese government is now limiting the amount of purchases
- 34:42people can do and modifying the actual delivery dates.
- 34:47OK, So what does that tell us about what is happening in the
- 34:52world with gold? And you know, the same is true
- 34:55for silver. Hold on one second here.
- 34:58Yeah, we got a super chat, my friend.
- 35:00Oh, hey, Renegade Designer. Susie is the channel's producer.
- 35:05Yeah, and she's remote today. Renegade Designer, you are
- 35:08famous on the Internet. Guys, we are in for a wild, wild
- 35:12ride with silver. Let's go check on the on the
- 35:14actual spot price right now. Thank you, Renegade Designer.
- 35:18Super. Appreciate the Super chat.
- 35:20Let's see how things have developed since we have been
- 35:23live. And OK, it's gotten a little
- 35:27better. If you notice that when we're
- 35:29live, the gold and silver price tend to improve.
- 35:32We're only down a dollar 277960, wow, will we break, will we
- 35:39close above $80.00? That will be a very, very good
- 35:44sign. But you know what, keep in mind
- 35:49the critical point, silver investors, gold investors are on
- 35:54a long term journey. And whether we look at medium or
- 35:58long term, it's almost like a mathematical impossibility,
- 36:03especially if you're going to choose the value your silver or
- 36:07gold ounces in Fiat paper, United States dollars.
- 36:10It's pretty much a mathematical impossibility that the price
- 36:15doesn't go up when we, when we're sitting here 2 years from
- 36:19now, imagine two years in the future.
- 36:22I don't see a scenario where the US dollar has gone up in value
- 36:28like real value and that the price of silver and gold
- 36:34measured in U.S. dollars is down.
- 36:36I could be wrong. Remember, I'm not a financial
- 36:38advisor. Don't don't make any decisions
- 36:40based on what I'm saying. But all right, I do know how to
- 36:44work a calculator and I do have a degree in accounting from a
- 36:48top flight university and I did, albeit briefly, work for a BIG4
- 36:54accounting firm. So I know how to work numbers.
- 36:56And I'm telling you guys, it's like when when I look out by
- 37:00people say, here's a question I get all the time from you guys.
- 37:05This is the a burning question in the basement dweller
- 37:08community. Ron, what's the best way for me
- 37:12to sell my silver? And I always say, right, hey,
- 37:17look guys, I got answers to most questions about silver and gold,
- 37:21but I've never sold any silver or any gold in my entire life.
- 37:25That's the absolute truth. And I don't have really any
- 37:28plans to do so. Maybe maybe at some point if we
- 37:31get into what I think is really a silver squeeze and a silver
- 37:35bubble. But to me, there's no better
- 37:39long term for me. You make your own, listen to me,
- 37:42listen to other people read, do your own research, listen to
- 37:46yourself. But to me, it's a generational
- 37:49type situation that I feel very, very good about because I know
- 37:53that if my great grandpa to the 50th degree, my, my ancestors
- 37:59had made that decision, that that me and my family right now
- 38:03could be reaping those benefits as well.
- 38:06Hey, I hope you enjoyed your time down here in the basement.
- 38:09Feel like we've got friends down here.
- 38:11That includes you. You are important.
- 38:14Please subscribe to the channel. Don't forget, give her a thumbs
- 38:17up if you haven't already because we want you to come
- 38:20back. Subscribing is free.
- 38:22Most importantly, take care of yourself, OK?
- 38:25You deserve it. Have a great day today.
- 38:27And I'll see you. Yeah, and I do.
- 38:30I see you. I see you out there.
- 38:32I'll see you soon. Bye.
- 38:33Bye.
