- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I'm excited, of course.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: This is this is the probably the most fun time for any preacher to preach, to talk about this new life, a resurrection life, abundant life.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: This is what I'm all about.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: Now, I'm a little bit I got so much.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: See, I I came up with actually three different messages, three sermons.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: And uh wasn't sure which way to go with it, but I'll just tell you that you know, I've got one, and there's a lot in it.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: It'll take every bit of an hour to speak it, but um and it's it's worth 20 bucks.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: I've got another one that'll take about half an hour, it's worth 50 bucks.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: I've got another one, I can get through this in five or ten minutes, it's worth a hundred bucks.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna pass the offering bucket basket, and we're gonna see which one I'm gonna preach this morning.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: That's my Easter joke, sort of.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Um where to start?
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: John 10, 10, I guess, is where he says, you know, we all know this verse.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: He says, The thief comes but to steal, kill, and destroy, but I've come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: That you might have life and have it more abundantly.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: First point, that word more abundantly.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Look it up.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: It's such a beautiful word.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: It means excessive.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: What's excessive mean?
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Too much.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: We were in a Bible study and a lady said, I don't like that word excessive.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Can we use another word?
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: We're like, no.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: She said, excessive sound like I don't I don't know if God would want something excess give us something in excess.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: And I thought, well, that's a good reason you're in the Bible study here because you obviously don't know uh God like Jesus was uh was was wanting to explain to us, was revealing to us.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: And this is, and I'll show you this morning why why it's excessive.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: The word, when you look it up, it means excessive or superfluous.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: If you don't know what superfluous means, it's it's it means it means excess, it means too much, it means more than is needed, more than is necessary.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: And so, now think of that.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Of course, you see it demonstrated sometimes.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Jesus has five loaves and two fish to feed a multitude of thousands of people, right?
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And he doesn't barely feed them, does he?
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: He what's he feed?
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: How much food does he does he give them?
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: He gives them too much.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: He gives them so much the Bible says they got full.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: That means they were offering them seconds or thirds or fourths or whatever, and not only these people that were hungry, because they'd gone all day without eating, following Jesus around, not these people that were that were very, very hungry, he fed them.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: He didn't just give them something to keep them going to the next meal, they got full.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: The Bible said they got satisfied or they got full.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: They got they all ate enough to where they didn't can't couldn't eat anymore, and then they collected up all the leftovers.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: And there again, that was a he could he didn't have to do that.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Think about that.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: He could have just the miracle, we wouldn't have even thought of it probably.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: If the miracle had been that he fed 5,000 people besides their women and children, so you may be talking 10, 20, 30, 40,000, who knows how many people were there, really.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: And and we would have never given it a second thought if we looked at that and all it said was that it fed every one of them.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: We would have thought that was just as big a miracle, but people don't look at the the next part of that, that not only did it feed them all, but it fed them until they were full, and and they they they started turning down food and they collected all these leftovers, and they collected 12 baskets of leftovers.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Now, what do we do with all this food?
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Too much.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: And and and look at it this way.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Um so Adam and Eve, I always go back there, don't I?
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Adam and Eve have a choice: a tree of life, right?
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Tree of life.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Jesus came that we would have life.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Now, the second point about Jesus saying we he came that we would have life, he's talking to people that are living.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Not living according to his definition, but they're walking in the earth, their hearts beating, their lungs are taking in air, they're having an existence, they're they're doing their their occupations, they're marrying, they're having kids, they're they're you know, they're they're doing it, they're working, they're they're hungry, they're thirsting, they're they're they're having fun, they're having sorrow, they're they're they're alive, so to speak.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: But it's not alive according to the definition of Jesus, because he said, I came that you would have life.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: He didn't obviously he's not talking about existence, right?
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: So this morning, I got something real good here for you because we want to look at this.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: We want to look at the simplicity of this thing that Jesus gave us, life, and life more abundantly.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Too much life, too much, more than you could ask or think or imagine.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Now, I want to blow this out this morning because I don't want any Christians here to be living or feeling like they have less than and they're still trying to get something.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: If Jesus did what he said he did and if he gave us too much.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: I hope to illustrate that this morning.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: He came that we would have life, it's a different kind of life, not a life of our existence, but that we would have a life that was too much, more abundant.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: So we go back to Adam and Eve here, and we see that they had a choice.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: They had the tree of life.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: They had another tree also, right?
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: They could have freely eaten of any of them, but they chose to eat of this one, and they did not choose to eat of the tree of life.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: We know that.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: So they chose not the tree of life, but this tree of what?
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Knowledge of good and evil, and what would it bring if they partook of that?
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: Death.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: So one produces life, one produces death.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: And we know what they chose.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Now, look at this.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: The Bible says, and uh Jesus said it in John chapter 5, verse 24, verse 24 and 25.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: He says, Most assuredly I say to you, he that hears my word and believes in him who sent me has everlasting life.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: And he shall not come into judgment, but he has passed from death unto life.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: He has passed from death unto life.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Now look at this.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: We know these terms as Christians.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: First John also said, first uh first, uh let me finish read the rest of this verse, excuse me.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Gotta try to hurry this$20 sermon here.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Uh he says, He's passed from death unto life.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Most assuredly I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, now is, he's not now, not thousands of years later, and now is when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear it will live.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Now he said, and now is.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Now, what we're looking at, he says, those who hear my words and believe it pass from death to life.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: So what he's talking about are people that are in existence hearing the words, and he says, and what will happen is if they believe it, that they are passed from death to life.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: So he's not just talking about some just a bodily resurrection thousands of years later.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Because he said, the hour is coming and it now is, because he's about to go to the cross and die and raise again, and we're going to celebrate, and we're celebrating that today.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: He says, but the hour is coming and now is when those that are dead.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: They're existing, they're doing all these things on this earth, but they're dead and they're going to hear and they're going to live.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: They'll pass from death unto life.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Now, Adam and Eve chose a way of living that was going to confine them to an existence called death.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: But they would still exist, obviously, right?
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: They would have progeny, they would have children, and we would, we would all of us would be born because of that.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: But the existence, when they partook of that, we know that they said we were afraid because we were naked and we were ashamed.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: God said, Who told you you were naked?
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: You must have eaten of that tree, because I didn't tell you you were naked, you've been naked the whole time.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: I never said anything about it.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: I didn't condemn you for it.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: I don't do that.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: There's no condemnation in me.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: I have none to give.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: The only way you could know that is that you ate of that tree.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: The only way you could feel ashamed is that you partook of that tree that would put you in this condition of death.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: The only way you could feel afraid is because you partook of that, that you went that way, you chose that way that was going to put you in an existence confined unto death, and you would be needing now.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Now you're afraid.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: And you need covering, you need protection.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Now you're afraid and you need provision.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: Said, Adam, the way you chose was not right.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: I told you.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: He said, It's going to be hard now.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: It's going to be hard.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: You're going to live by the sweat of your brow.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: It's not, it's going to be an existence, but it's not going to be abundant life.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: There's going to be scarcity.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: This land will give to you, but it will give grudgingly, and you're going to have to do the work because you chose to do this yourself.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: Woman, you're going to have pain.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: There's going to be sorrow in your conception.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: There's going to be.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, Adam.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: So Adam goes into this existence.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: I want to illustrate that.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: It's a very small existence compared to what the Tree of Life offers.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: And that's what Jesus is, and that's what he offers, right?
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: So I want to make a little illustration here.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, Judy and I were talking one time, we talk about the differences between men and women, and they uh, you know, and she says, Well, men are usually more childish, so I told her, Well, get out of my fort then, if you're gonna say that.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: But I'm gonna make a fort here, so this is gonna be my fort.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: And this is my enclosure here, and this is my little place, this is my world.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: Look at Adam and Eve, as when they chose that way, they came into a confined space.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: They came into a space where there are restrictions now.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Not very large.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: They feel like they don't have many choices in life.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: They're wishing a lot, they're wanting a lot.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: The Bible says in 1 Peter, uh, excuse me, 2 Peter 1, 9, that the corrupt that corruption then entered into this world through lust.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: Now they're lusting.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: Now what are they?
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Now they want to be covered.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Now they want protection.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: Now they're going to want for food.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: Now they're going to want for shelter.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: Now they're going to want for drink.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: Jesus, the tree of life, comes along later on in Matthew chapter 6, and he says, Don't worry about what you're going to eat, what you're going to drink, or how you're going to be covered.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Because your father knows that you need all these things.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: He's bringing you home.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: He's been wanting to take care of you all this time.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: Now you're coming home.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: But people are in this little confined space.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: There's lack.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: We don't have freedom here.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: We're in this thing called death.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: We're at the mercy of the world's circumstances and its situations.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: This world is hard.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: We have to eke out a living here.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: This world is hard.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: People are mean.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: We can't do things about certain things.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: We are at the mercy of this life, and we're in this condition that it's hard.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: We cry at night.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Our sons kill each other.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: People are killing themselves.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: People can't coexist together.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: There's all this because everybody's out for himself in here because nobody has enough and nobody has what they want, and everybody's trying to do it on their own, and they're in this little condition here.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: And then Jesus says that those who have heard my words and believe it, they pass from death unto life.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: They come from a place, and here's what it's like.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: When you come into abundant life or resurrection life, now, before I say that, let's say it, let me say this.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: God, here's man existing in his little world here.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: And here's God who's always been before all creation, during all creation, and beyond all the physical everything, is that God has always been.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: God has always been existing.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Look at the rest of this building, and this is God, and this is him, and this is heaven, and this is eternity, this is the spirit, this is life.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: And man's living in this little closet here.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: And uh all this time, God's out there and he's speaking, he'll speak to Israel, and he'll say, You know, I've got before you life and death.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: Life and death, blessing and cursing.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Choose life that you may live, and I am your life, I am that tree of life.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Man's living in here now, he can't see it.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: He's oblivious to the things of the Spirit.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: He's blind, he's in darkness.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: You try to talk to him about things out there, it's like, whatever, what's that mean?
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: Even Christians, because we didn't get, we didn't get, we didn't weren't taught revelation in a lot of the places where where I first started as a Christian.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: We were taught stay right here till you die, and then you get to go out there.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: And we weren't taught revelation, and so so it was all about dying, and and then, you know, here's this old world of sorrow, and this is all we got, and you just you just hold out hold out and hang on, and and through all the trials and tribulations, you just try your best and listen and don't let go.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: And if you still ain't mad at Jesus when it's all over, you'll get to go out there.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: And Jesus said, Who believes my words has passed from death unto life.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: The Bible says that Jesus has delivered us from the power of darkness or obscurity, and he has delivered us into, transformed us into the kingdom of his light.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: It's like you step out of the closet.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: Look at it like this.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: It's like a man has lived, a person has lived their whole life in a closet, wishing.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, I wish I could be out there.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: I wish things were better.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: I wish God would do this, I wish God would do that.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: And then you hear the word.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: You hear the, you hear the the word that says, He has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: You hear something and you believe, and then you look, and it's like you open the door to your home, to your existence, the place you were living, and you find out you're living in a mansion and you've been there the whole time.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Jacob said, How awesome is this place! This is none other but the house of God and the gate of heaven, and I didn't even know it.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: And it's like I've had a mansion this whole time.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: I've been begging for food, and look, I've got a fully stocked kitchen.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: I've got the most beautiful appliances, and I've got more rooms than I can use.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: What am I gonna do with this place?
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: How am I gonna how am I gonna keep it clean?
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: What do I need all of these rooms for?
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Because God gives too much.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: This is abundant life, this is unnecessary life.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: This is more than I'm ever going to use.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: This is more house than I'll ever be able to do anything with.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: But that's how God does things.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: And men became conditioned to living in this thing, and they even created a religion of God according to the fashion of that world.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: And you step out, and we're talking, we're looking at something, we ain't talking about God that Jesus died, so now we got a ticket punch, and let's just hang on and hold on, and we'll get to go get on the train to heaven one of these days later on.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: But what we're looking at this morning, what we're celebrating this morning, and what's so easy and what's so good for you is that you've been given everlasting life.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: You've been given eternal life, and you've been called out of that.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: And and and all this is, you know, the Bible says, as you receive Christ, so walk ye in him.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: That means that means however you had whatever you had to do to receive Christ, and what did he say that was?
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: You believe it.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: He said, Did that working of miracles, that new creation?
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: He says, Does the working of miracles happen because you because of the works of the flesh or because of the hearing of faith?
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: And he says, as you receive Christ, so walk ye in him.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: In other words, if you didn't do it to receive Christ, then you don't have to do it to get anything else.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: Because you're home.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: What you're found out, if your eyes open up, we're talking about, when we talk about going from death to life, we're talking about going from a place of obscurity, darkness, a place of unconsciousness.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: You're alive, but you're not aware of what's going on around you when you're unconscious, right?
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Hmm?
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: People can be talking, voices can be talking, the lights can be on everything else, but if you're unconscious or unaware, you're not aware of a reality that's really going on here, and you think that that's what it is.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: Then you hear the gospel.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: You hear the gospel that calls you out of that obscurity, out of darkness, and he calls you into light, and you step into the light and you go and you you're amazed.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: It's almost scary to you.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: It's like, oh, this is too much house.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: It's almost scary to you.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: It's like, no.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: God can't be this good.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: God, forgive me for even considering living in this place.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: Forgive me for my selfishness and my lust and my want.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: But so then you come in, so then you bring your awareness back in here, and this is where you're always going to be lusting.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: This is where you're always gonna because there's never enough in here.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: It's too confined, it's too little.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: So he said, that's why he said, Your father knows you need everything, so don't worry about it, because he's called you into the kingdom.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Be fear not, little flock.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: It was your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: But what do I have to do to keep this thing?
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: He says, Fear not.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: It was your father's good pleasure to give it to you.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: But but what do I have to do?
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: He gave it to you.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: I know, but but but what does he want from me?
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: He gave it to you.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: I know, but what are the steps that I have to take to live here?
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: He gave it to you.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: But what do I have to do to me in order to stay here in this house?
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: How about what Jesus said?
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: He said, Why don't you abide there?
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: Abide in my words, abide in the light, abide in me.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Because if you abide in me and I abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it'll be done.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: Because there's more than you can ask for in here.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Well, I I I want to uh I want the house to be warmer.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: We've got a nest control, just speak it and it'll change.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: In other words, you've got the capacity, you've got everything in the house.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: We hear it around here all the time.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: I love that Frankie brings this up almost every single time.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Everything you need is in the house.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: And it's not just this physical building.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: We're looking at your life.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: We're looking at the new abundant life.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: We're looking at new creation.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: Old things are passed away.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: I'm not living in the closet.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: In fact, I've got a good verse for you.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Joel chapter 2, verse 16.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: He says, Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and the nursing babies.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: What was that?
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: That was his tomb when he joined us in the death, in the closet.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: Let the bridegroom come forth.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: He rose from the dead.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: We celebrate that day.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: The bridegroom came forth from the chamber and let the bride come forth from her closet.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Everybody else is coming out today.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: Come on out.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: Let's look at 2 Peter.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, no.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, let's go ahead.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: 2 Peter chapter 1.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Linda was actually preaching this and you caught it this morning.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: Chapter 3 says, as his divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Think of that.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: That's the house here.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: That's the abundant life.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: There was existence.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: We've all been there.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: We lived without so much joy.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Our little world was, I mean, it was, it was, sometimes it was hard.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it wasn't fair in there.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: People weren't always nice to us.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: There are people that don't like me.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: I know I'm like you.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: You think, how could any intelligent being not like Rick?
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but it happens.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: It does.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: I've been stabbed in the back.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: I've suffered the pain of loss.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: I've faced financial ruin, you know.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: In here, I did that.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: But I have faced so many of those things while I was out in out here, while I was awake.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: While I was conscious.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: Because I wasn't unconscious, I was conscious.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: And when I suffered the pain of loss, I was still I was in a life that was still abundant.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: And I would still have all of the joy and all the peace and all the everything that would pertain to my life, I would still have it.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Even though I had lost, I would live as if I had not lost.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: Because it's all in the house.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: It's all in the life abundant.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: I got too much.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: How am I ever going to have joy again?
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, Rick, you got too much joy.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: You got more than you'll ever use.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: How am I ever going to have peace when I was facing financial ruin?
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: How can I ever have peace about this?
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, son, you've got more than you'll ever need.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: And that lives, those things live with you.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: When you're conscious, when you're coming out of this is a real change.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about just a mind game here.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about a change that happens because you now have the spirit which opens your eyes.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: The Bible says the spirit was given to us so we can know the things that have been freely given to us.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: When we're in there, we don't know.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: We think that's all it is.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: I wish God would do this, wish God would do that.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: And we're ignorant because we don't see it in there.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: And God said, My people are in there, they're destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: They don't even know what's out here.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: And if somebody tells them they don't know what's available to Them.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: Are y'all hearing anything?
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: His divine power has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Me and you both, we all fit, we all face situations that are sorrowful situations, sad situations, bad situations once in a while.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: But if you're conscious, if you're awake, if you're alive, you've got everything you need for that bad situation.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, come on.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: And this is what keeps you happy, and this is what keeps you shining.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: This is what keeps you a light in a dark world.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: This is what gives you hope for somebody else.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: This is what makes you a help and an anointing and a comfort and a revival to other people.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: This is what keeps you the head and not the tail, above and not beneath.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: This is the one that causes you to never ever again save when they say, How you doing?
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: And you say, Well, under the circumstances, because you'll you're you're you're you're awake.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: How can I say I'm under the circumstances when I'm wide awake and there's too much here?
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Are y'all hearing me?
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: I need to preach louder to that back row.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: He says that he's given us everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowing him who called us to glory and virtue, who called us to glory and virtue, by which has been given to us these exception, exceeding great and precious promises that through these promises that he's given us, we might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped that corruption that's in the world through lust.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Why is there lust in the world?
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: Only because there's so much lack and sense of lack.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: What happens when you wake up and find out you've got more than you'll ever use?
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: How can you lust anymore?
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: No wonder the psalmist wrote, The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: What am I gonna want in here?
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Oh God, I just want patience.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: And oh, there's more than I'll ever use.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: It'll never run out.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Are y'all here?
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: God, I just want joy.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Why would you even say that?
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Because you think you're in there.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: Wake up.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: It's like you gotta like waking up from a dream, you wake up and it's like, oh my goodness, there's joy unspeakable here.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: When you know that, then you just draw from and from the house.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: Are y'all seeing it?
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: Jesus said, if you knew the gift of God, you'd ask me, and I'd give you the water that you'll never thirst again.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: You'll always have plenty of water.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: It gets dry in that closet.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: Water, water, water.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: And your whole house, you've got plumbing.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: You're you you'll never run out.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: He says, and then we go down to verse 9.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: He says, and and what he what he has done before that is he lists all these things, these powerful things that make your life abundant.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: He says, faith, virtue, knowledge, self-control, patience, godliness, kindness, love, agape love, God love, super unconditional love, powerful overcoming love.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: And he says, in verse 9, he says, but he who lacks these things.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: Lack.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: Now, how can there be lack in a life that's too much?
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: Are y'all seeing it?
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, just just knowing.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: Just this is what, this is what, this is why what keeps my joy level high.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: This is what keeps my peace level high in unpeaceful situations.
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: This is what it is from Jesus to say, now in the world, there's tribulation, but be of good cheer, be happy, and have fun, because I've overcome all that.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: I've given you more than enough for that little old world and its tribulations.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: He says, but he that lacks these things, that lacks the patience, the kindness, the self-control.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: Certain things make you lose your kindness, your patience.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Too much certain pressures is what'll cause you to lose your self-control.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: Make you feel like you don't have the love of God, make you act like you don't have the love of God when the truth is you do.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: It's all a part of your life.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: It's what has been given to you.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: But if you don't know you have such a great house, you feel like you don't have it, then you're going to be begging, God, God, help me to get that love, help me to get that patience.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: Are you seeing the difference here?
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: We've passed from death to life.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness, hang on.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: He says, but he that lacks these things is is short-sighted even to blindness.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: Your Bible might say he's blind and can't see far off.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: Well, try living in that closet and tell me how far you see.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: And there's plenty of things to see in the house, but if you're in the closet, you can't see.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: And it's dark in there.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: And so he says, and that's the only reason.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: He says, because you can't see.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: You're short-sighted and blind, and he says, and the reason for this is because you have forgotten.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: Y'all see that?
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: Because he's forgotten that he's been cleansed from his sins.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: He's forgotten who he is, forgotten that he's saved, forgotten he's a new creation.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: Oh, come on.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: This is simple.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Just open the eyes, just wake up, just be awake.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: Just enjoy the sunshine, enjoy being awake, and just realize what God has done.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: This salvation was not just a ticket to a better place later on while you have to stay in a bad place now.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: This is life, and it's called perpetual, everlasting life, undiminishable life.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: Life that can't be changed by what's going on around it because this life is too much.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: It's the other life that's not enough, so how could that be more than you can handle?
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: It's not enough.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: All right, let's wrap it up.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: Then we'll go find some eggs, I guess.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: Let's go to Romans 6 and finish there.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: I mean, when I first started in ministry, I used to have fun.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: When I first started, you know, it was I did like a lot of young ministers.
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: The pastor would set me up so I go speak in nursing homes.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: And it was always fun for Easter because a lot of them had memory issues, so we just let them hide their own eggs and have fun watching them try to find them.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: That was mean.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: I'm so glad that we're forgiven.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna read this with my concordance at hand because this thing, you'll this thing can mess you up if you these little words here that are that'll trip you.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: Okay, verse 4, Romans 6.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: Um, therefore, we are buried with him, with him together.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness, by baptism.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: I love this.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: This look at the picture.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: If you want to see the power of this gospel, buried with him.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: Remember, Jesus, here we were in the closet, in darkness, in death.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: What did Jesus do?
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: He came and he died.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: He tasted death for for all of us.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: He united with us in sin and death.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: He joined us in there.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: But the grave couldn't hold him, death couldn't hold him, so the bridegroom came out.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: He came out.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: And he is the bridegroom because now he's united with someone, me and you.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: Instead of calling us up to be like him, he came to be like us and united with us.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: We were equally yoked.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: He took on sin and death just like us.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: And he united with us, and he took a bride.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: And the Bible says that he that that that we were that we were buried with him.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: The Bible says that we were quickened or made alive together with him.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, we got stuck.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: The two became one.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: Now we were risen together with him, and we are seated together with him, still on the honeymoon.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: Are y'all here?
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: It's not a future wedding.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: That picture is a revelation of what Jesus did.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: And uh, and uh, and so he joined us.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: We were buried with him, together with Jesus, in baptism into death, that just like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: That word should, walk, is a is a is a is a bad miseration because here's what happens sometimes.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: When men take that word, this is why I thank God we've got some resources that give us the original manuscripts, the Greek.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: When men translate this, they they don't think that people can walk like Jesus, so they say we should walk like him.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: Well, if you know what that does to us, it makes us say, well, we don't, but we should.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: We don't, but we should.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: But what it literally, that word should is not there.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: It says, it says that that uh as Christ was raised up from the glory, even so we also walk or tread around in newness of life.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: For if we've been planted together in the likeness of his death, see that word right there, it says, we shall be in the likeness of his resurrection.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: I've got the concordance right here.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: It says, if we've been trained, if we've been planted together in the likeness of his death, then what follows is the likeness of resurrection.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: In other words, we're not there now, but one of these days we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna get, we will be, is what they what they wrote, and that's not what it says.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: It says, Paul is pleading to your sense of math and logic here, and he says, For if we were planted together in his death, then what follows is the resurrection.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: He was resurrected, so we were resurrected with him.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: When he came out of the chamber, the bridegroom came out of her closet.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: We're not in Kansas anymore, Todo.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: Look at this.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: He says, verse 6, because we know something.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: Awake, we're aware, we're conscious, we're not unconscious.
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: If you want to see a good picture of this, look at a man named Paul of Tarsus, Saul of Tarsus, excuse me.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: Persecuting the churches, putting them to death, thinking that he's doing God a favor, very zealous for God, living, existing, working hard for God, being a servant of God, living righteous according to the law, or trying harder than anybody else, and doing all these things, and he's living and he's moving and he's breathing and he's doing all these things.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: And then when he meets Jesus, he writes, after that, he writes all these letters that give us the revelation.
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: Thank God that his letters were preserved and we were able to read those things.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Because we see a man that woke up.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: We see a man that had an existence and he thought that's what life was, and he thought he was doing a good job of it.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: But when he met Jesus, he saw who he was.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: And he came into that's and he's the one that wrote to us about, he called us out of darkness, and now I'm in this marvelous light.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: Now I count all that stuff puny, it's nothing, it's dumb compared to the glory, the surpassing, too much thing of knowing Jesus.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: And he's the one that wrote all this stuff about.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Look at this.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: Look what he said.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: He says, He says, I came into a resurrection here.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: He says, because we know that that old man was crucified with him.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: Please don't let anybody lie to you about trying to kill or crucify your flesh.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: Because you got to know something.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: When you're awake, you already know.
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: When you're awake, you quit trying that.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: When you're in there, you're gonna keep trying.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: And all that is is just just believing a lie.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: See, all that is is deception, thinking that that's what life is.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: Jesus said, life's not about that.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: You know what it is in there?
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: In there, it's about things.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: Jesus says, life's not life is more than things.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: This is life.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: Here's your heaven on earth.
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: You know, I I think most cases when a person knows they're nearing their final days in life, it seems like it's like the veil of the superficial fades in its importance and they think about what life really is.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: Most of them wish they were better to certain people, more pleasant, nicer.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: Wish that they had enjoyed the treasure of their loved ones more.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: None of them say, I wish I had a few more days to make more money.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: None of them talk about any of the facade, the illusion of what life looks like.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: They talk about the true riches.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: And this is the true riches that you can enjoy.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: You see, Jesus said that a plant can be very well grounded and rooted, but it can be unfruitful.
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: It's not it's not experiencing the love, the joy, the peace, the patience, the goodness, all that.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: It's not enjoying because even though it's a it's a it's it's planted in the Lord, it's distracted by the cares of existence.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: A facade that's like a smoke, it's like a vapor, it's there, and people pattern after it and people live for it, but then it's gone.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: He said they they're they're they're the reason that they're unfruitful, they're not experiencing these things, just like Peter said, because they're blind and they can't see.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: He says, because and they can't see because of the cares of life.
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: They're so caught up in puny little temporal things that fluctuate and come and go, and they think that's life.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: They think they're dealing with life.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: The illusion of the cares of life, the deception, the deceiving, the deception of money, and the desires, the desires for things.
- 36:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, I just wish.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: Oh God, just give me that.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: Oh God, just do that.
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: And those things keep you in a condition that's not what Jesus made for us.
- 36:18SPEAKER_00: Now, what I want you to see this, before we close this out, I want you to see that Jesus did this and it was freely given, that he brought us into this life, and all you gotta do is agree.
- 36:30SPEAKER_00: All you gotta do is acknowledge it.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: All you gotta do is say, yes, that's true.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: Yes, all you gotta do is believe it.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: Because if you believe it, I told Judy the other day, I said, you know, if I find out somewhere down the line that I have been crazy and I've been deceived about this whole thing, I said, and and I find out that I'm just I'm just mentally ill while I believe all this stuff, I don't want to be fixed.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: I want to keep, I want to keep it like it is.
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: Because I'm enjoying this heaven on earth thing.
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: I'm enjoying this too much joy, I'm enjoying this too much peace.
- 36:59SPEAKER_00: I'm enjoying this too much love.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: I'm enjoying it.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: Well, Rick, you just think you got so much love you can't even be condemned.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna keep enjoying it.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: There's no condemnation here.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: Huh?
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: You can't condemn somebody.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: People, no, you will never receive condemnation or accusation if you know you're living in too much.
- 37:23SPEAKER_00: Knowing this, because we know the old man was crucified, so that the body of sin would be destroyed, that from now on, there's that word should, that word should is not even it's it from now on, that word should is the same word as the word serve.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: Where it says there from now from from henceforth it means it means actually that word henceforth, that no longer that we serve sin.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: That word should is the same word as serve, which means to be a slave.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: Why do they say that we should?
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: Because they think whoever was doing the translating into English, they think they had to say that we don't do it, but we should.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: We shouldn't serve sin.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: So all you people all you Christians that are serving sin, you shouldn't be doing it.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: It says so right here.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: But that's not what it says.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: It says so that because of what he did, he destroyed that.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: He destroyed that whole thing there, so that from now on, from now on, we are not a slave.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: We are a slave not serving sin.
- 38:14SPEAKER_00: Because he that has died is freed from sin.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: Now, if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we also live with him.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: That word shall, there again, they shouldn't put that in there.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: It means here's the word, it's it's Suzale.
- 38:27SPEAKER_00: It that word shall is not shall.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: It means to continue to live with.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: What it reads is if we're dead with Christ, we believe that we continue to live in common with Christ.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: That's the word, that's the definition I got right here.
- 38:41SPEAKER_00: To continue to live in common with, to co-survive with, to live with.
- 38:45SPEAKER_00: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, I want to read that again.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: If we be dead with Christ, we believe that we also continue to live in common with him.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: Please take those shals and shoulds.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: I'm not lying to you, they're not supposed to be there.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: That we continue to live with him.
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: Knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: Death has no more dominion over him.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: Look at verse 11.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: I've got to hurry.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: Likewise, oh no, I gotta, I mean, let me read it.
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: Death has no more dominion over him.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: Verse 10, for in that he died, he died unto sin one time.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: But he that lives, he's living unto God or with God.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: Likewise, likewise, we also reckon ourselves that we have died to sin, but we are alive.
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: We reckon we're alive.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: What's the secret to your heaven on earth?
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: You reckon you're alive.
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: Not just existence.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: You're you reckon that you got way too much for whatever you're dealing with.
- 39:44SPEAKER_00: You got so much life, that's why Jesus didn't have to come and change everything in the world before he rose and seated at the right hand of the Father.
- 39:51SPEAKER_00: He didn't have to come and stop all the pe all bad things from happening in the world.
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: He just had to put too much in you.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: That's all too much for the world.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: Are you listening to me?
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: Likewise, reckon yourselves dead unto sin, but reckon yourself alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: Verse 13.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: And neither do you yield as members of instruments of right unrighteousness unto sin.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: I'm in this place of life.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: Now, when you're in there, you're boxed in.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: You can't help it.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: Because you because because you feel like you're lacking in the love that it takes to not sin.
- 40:42SPEAKER_00: You feel like you're lacking in the patience that it takes to not sin.
- 40:45SPEAKER_00: You feel like you're lacking in the abundance that it takes, so you'll sin to and you feel like I can't help it.
- 40:49SPEAKER_00: Why do you feel like you're a servant?
- 40:51SPEAKER_00: Because in there, servitude comes from a lack of knowledge of what you're living in.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: You don't even know you're living in a mansion.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: And he says, he says, so don't, don't, don't, don't yield yourself as if you're somebody that's stuck in there.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: Remember the truth here.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: The truth is what'll make you free.
- 41:07SPEAKER_00: He says, but yield yourselves unto God.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: What does it mean to yield unto God?
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: It means that when you open this door and you look out and see that you're living in a mansion and you've been in a mansion this whole time, to yield yourself to it means I'm just gonna step in it.
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna be here.
- 41:24unknown: That's good.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: Well, Rick, you gotta do warfare.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: Rick, Rick, you gotta fast and pray.
- 41:29SPEAKER_00: Rick, you gotta do this.
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: Rick, you gotta do these good works.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: Rick, you gotta give that.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: You gotta get.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: I've just yielded to God, and so far he hasn't kicked me out.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: Yield yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead.
- 41:49SPEAKER_00: And yield yourselves, your members, as instruments of righteousness, because sin shall not have dominion over you.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: Would y'all stand up?
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: There's a song about somewhere over the rainbow, somewhere over that cross of Christ.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: Your dreams came true.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: Everything you ever want.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: I ain't playing games with you, I ain't giving you pie in the sky, wouldn't it be nice and all that?
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: He came that you'd have too much life.
- 42:29SPEAKER_00: Y'all see it?
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: You grow in this.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: You find out your communion with God is so much gratitude.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: You find yourself, you're walking around in this big mansion here, because in his, he said he went to prepare a place for you.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: My father's house, there's many mansions.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: I went to prepare a place for you.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: Now, as a as a new Christian, I lived a lot of it in that closet simply because people were telling me that that's that's my that was my home.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: They told me out here was my home later on when I lay my body down.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: But the Spirit was given to me to reveal the things that had been freely given to me, and somehow it convicted me of righteousness, and I saw through the crack in the door, and I just kind of started.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: Something tells me I'm not in the tree of knowledge of good and evil anymore, Toto.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: I think I'm on the other side of the cross now.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: Look around this morning, please.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: Just look around.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: When I say look around, I mean just be aware this morning of a reality.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, what love! When you can see it, you'll never doubt the love of your father.
- 43:53SPEAKER_00: Not when you can see this house.
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: When you see all the riches, he says, Oh, I pray that the eyes of your understanding will be opened so you can know the riches of the glory of your inheritance.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: Look around.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: I don't know what I'm gonna deal with tomorrow.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: But I'm so ready.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: I got so much joy in the house, there's so much peace, so much abundance in the house.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: There's no lack in here.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: Got hit with a big bill this week.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: There's more abundance that I there's more abundance than I'll ever be able to spend.
- 44:30SPEAKER_00: Well, Father, we celebrate you today and we celebrate your resurrection for us that brought us our resurrection, and we we want to honor you and we want to worship you by thanking you and acknowledging that and being glad in it.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: We thank you for that in Jesus' name.
- 44:51SPEAKER_00: Saints, I honestly believe, I have come to believe that the best way you can worship God, the best way you can serve God, is to be glad in what He's given you, is to enjoy this.
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: He came that you would enjoy it to give you a life that you could enjoy.
- 45:08SPEAKER_00: Bye bye, curse of the fall of man.
- 45:12SPEAKER_00: Bye bye, tree of knowledge of good and evil.
- 45:13SPEAKER_00: Bye bye, closet.
- 45:20SPEAKER_00: God bless you guys.
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: Happy Easter.
