- 0:00Speaker 1: This is dirty little secret.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Nixed one or two point nine. Here we go.
- 0:07Speaker 3: If you have a confession, bring it anytime you want.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Just confess to us and share that secret.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Go ahead, So I have a confession. I'm absolutely mortified
- 0:16Speaker 1: by this situation. My daughter is in elementary school. I'm
- 0:20Speaker 1: not going to say which one last year I was,
- 0:24Speaker 1: you know that, mom. I was volunteered for everything. I
- 0:27Speaker 1: was doing field days, carnivals, fundraisers, class parties, anything they needed.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I was the one they called, right.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Somewhere along the way, I met my daughter's pe teacher,
- 0:41Speaker 1: and I developed like the hugest like girl, like schoolgirl
- 0:45Speaker 1: style crash, you.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Know, Oh, okay, all right with.
- 0:50Speaker 1: That man is ridiculously good looking. But even more than that,
- 0:55Speaker 1: he's just genuinely a nice guy. He's really great with kids,
- 0:59Speaker 1: and he's always smiling, always friendly. I never knew he
- 1:03Speaker 1: was actually single or not, because we barely talked, honestly,
- 1:07Speaker 1: but I thought that he might flirt with me a
- 1:09Speaker 1: little bit here and there. But now that I looked
- 1:12Speaker 1: back on it, maybe maybe just being nice, Okay, flirting
- 1:17Speaker 1: with me?
- 1:18Speaker 2: There's a fine line.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, and that's what actually makes everything even more
- 1:22Speaker 1: embarrassing to the meat of the thing. I'm divorced, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: a few weeks ago, maya ex had my daughter over
- 1:29Speaker 1: at his place for the weekend and I met some
- 1:32Speaker 1: friends for food drinks, and let's just say those day
- 1:35Speaker 1: drinks turned into like all day last night drink.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Yeah, nothing good happens when you start day drinking. Day
- 1:43Speaker 3: drinking makes you do things you've never done before. So
- 1:46Speaker 3: now I'm really nervous. So what did you do now?
- 1:49Speaker 1: Well, apparently drunk me decided that she was going to
- 1:52Speaker 1: shoot her shot with the pe teacher, and I had
- 1:56Speaker 1: his email still from like one of those school email
- 1:59Speaker 1: chain things about an event. Well, I looked him up
- 2:03Speaker 1: specifically and found it and I emailed him where I
- 2:08Speaker 1: barely remember you.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You drunk emailed him?
- 2:13Speaker 3: Yeah, what what did you say?
- 2:17Speaker 2: This is awful?
- 2:19Speaker 1: I was really bad. So I did see it the
- 2:21Speaker 1: next morning because like I remembered it like midway through
- 2:24Speaker 1: the night when I woke up, like you know when
- 2:26Speaker 1: you wake up when it wears off a little bit.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Oh, So at first you're like, I just dreamed that,
- 2:30Speaker 3: right right, I was like, oh no.
- 2:34Speaker 1: That can't that can't no, No, Then it was real.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Phone next morning. I see that I sent an email
- 2:41Speaker 1: and I like started shaking.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Oh God, what did it say?
- 2:45Speaker 1: I saw his email and I was like, oh no,
- 2:47Speaker 1: I actually did it. So I basically wanted to eat
- 2:51Speaker 1: my phone into so late it said, sorry, I'm cringing still,
- 2:59Speaker 1: it's like I'm shaking is thinking about it. It said,
- 3:02Speaker 1: I think you're extremely attractive. If you're not seeing anyone,
- 3:05Speaker 1: we should absolutely grab drinks or dinner because I promise
- 3:09Speaker 1: you'll have a good time.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Oh whoa wow, all out on the table. We should
- 3:19Speaker 2: go grab drinks.
- 3:20Speaker 3: The only part that's like, okay, what does that mean
- 3:22Speaker 3: is I guarantee you'll have a good time.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Yeah. So what you're saying, what you're saying, mom, I mean.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Okay, that's not so you're saying that's not something you
- 3:32Speaker 3: would normally write.
- 3:33Speaker 1: No, not as sober. Okay, I'm not so bold. I
- 3:39Speaker 1: know it seems like I've got a personality, but I'm
- 3:42Speaker 1: really shy in person. Oh yeah, I shun't make icon taps.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Okay, So here's what I'm wanting. I'm dying to know.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Did you get a response.
- 3:51Speaker 1: No, he didn't even reply at all. There was not
- 3:59Speaker 1: even like a flattered but no, or like oh wow, Mary,
- 4:03Speaker 1: just silence crickets. And so I think for some reason
- 4:06Speaker 1: I'm freaking out more because that's actually worse. Yeah, I'm
- 4:12Speaker 1: not going to be that mom anymore. I can't show there.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Oh no, you're right, I mean right, almost getting no
- 4:19Speaker 3: response is worse than a response because that now you
- 4:22Speaker 3: don't even know where his head's at, right, And maybe he.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Didn't get it. Maybe you made a typo can, maybe
- 4:28Speaker 2: it was Gmail, and maybe it went toad.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yeah, these are all the things that you'll you'll never
- 4:36Speaker 3: know and you'll have to wonder until you see him.
- 4:38Speaker 3: And you know what, he might never say anything about it.
- 4:41Speaker 3: He might pretend he never saw.
- 4:42Speaker 2: It, but he did, right, because he doesn't know what
- 4:44Speaker 2: to do.
- 4:45Speaker 1: He's so nice.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Like that happened to me.
- 4:47Speaker 3: That happened to me once where somebody sent me a
- 4:50Speaker 3: drunk text.
- 4:52Speaker 2: It was very drunk.
- 4:53Speaker 3: And it was from a woman and it was someone
- 4:55Speaker 3: that I'm friends with, but she kind of like took
- 4:57Speaker 3: it over the line, and when she meant it the
- 5:00Speaker 3: next day, she was like, oh my god, did I
- 5:02Speaker 3: text you last night?
- 5:03Speaker 2: I was like, loll know why but she did.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I just pretended like she didn't to save everyone, right, Yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 3: but but that maybe he'll do that or maybe he'll know.
- 5:14Speaker 3: There's no way he would have responded. I mean, I'm
- 5:16Speaker 3: not being mean, but he would he would have responded.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I think he would have said literally anything. Can you unsend? It?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Too late for that? All right? Well, I mean you're
- 5:26Speaker 2: about to find out what.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I don't blame you, but you shouldn't let this affect
- 5:30Speaker 3: to where you don't volunteer and stuff for your school.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he'll get over it. Yeah, keep moving
- 5:36Speaker 2: on it. You're not going to be at the school forever.
- 5:38Speaker 3: You technically did not say anything inappropriate. You alluded to
- 5:42Speaker 3: I alluded.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I made so many promises.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I'm trying to help you out, you know what I mean, Like,
- 5:50Speaker 3: you know, if it was it unprofessional to do, I
- 5:53Speaker 3: don't know, there's not.
- 5:54Speaker 2: You don't work there. I mean, you're not the professional
- 5:56Speaker 2: he is.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah. So he didn't do anything wrong. You didn't do
- 5:58Speaker 3: anything wrong. You shot your shot? What who cares?
- 6:01Speaker 2: I'm over it? I mean, you can't take it back
- 6:03Speaker 2: at this point.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You just got to say who cares?
- 6:05Speaker 3: Yeah, when you see him, be like you're missing out.
- 6:07Speaker 3: It would have been a good time bro, double down.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to go to school shopping as well.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I guess.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Yeah, well good, that's a good secret. Can you please
- 6:17Speaker 3: let us know if he says anything.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Though, I promise I will.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Okay, good luck, and yeah, back to school is gonna
- 6:23Speaker 3: be fun this year.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Car line is gonna hit different.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Mommy, why are you dropping me off at the end
- 6:29Speaker 3: of the block.
