  Speaker 1: is 4-0 right now, Jaden Baugh is one of the

  Speaker 1: biggest reasons. So let's just start with his numbers. 160

  Speaker 1: yards against FAU, 136 against Campbell, 162 against Auburn. And

  Speaker 1: then Saturday night against Ole Miss, 142 yards, three touchdowns.

  Speaker 1: That is five straight 100-yard games going back to last season.

  Speaker 1: And that puts him in some pretty amazing company at Florida.

  Speaker 1: Emmitt Smith, Fred Taylor, now Jaden Ball. That's it. That's

  Speaker 1: the list. So this isn't some random hot streak anymore.

  Speaker 1: This is starting to look like who he is. And

  Speaker 1: the thing that stood out to me against Ole Miss
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: is that everybody knew what was coming. We knew it.

  Speaker 1: They knew it. Everybody knew Florida wanted to run the football.

  Speaker 1: They still couldn't stop it. Florida finished with more than
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: 300 rushing yards and six touchdowns, rushing touchdowns. And Ball

  Speaker 1: was right there in the middle of it. And this
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: isn't one of those games where running back breaks one
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: huge run and suddenly the stat line looks great. He
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: carried the ball 29 times. 29 times. That's a workload.

  Speaker 1: And he just kept grinding. Four yards here, six yards there,

  Speaker 1: then he pops one, then another tough run, and eventually
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: the defense starts wearing down. That's what I love about
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: Jaden Baugh's game. He's a big back, but he doesn't

  Speaker 1: run like he's just a big back. He has power, obviously.

  Speaker 1: You see him run through contact all the time. But
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: he's got more bursts than most people give him credit for.

  Speaker 1: If the hole is there, he can hit it. And

  Speaker 1: if there isn't a huge hole, he can still turn

  Speaker 1: nothing into four or five yards. That is really important

  Speaker 1: in the SEC. Against good teams, you're not going to

  Speaker 1: get 10-yard lanes every play. Sometimes you just need a

  Speaker 1: guy that can make a bad play less bad, and

  Speaker 1: Bob does that. The Auburn game was probably when I

  Speaker 1: started looking at this a little bit differently. It's one

  Speaker 1: thing to pile up yards against FAU and Campbell, but

  Speaker 1: then when you go on the road into Jordan Hare
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: in your SEC opener and you run for 162 yards
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: and three touchdowns, all right, Now you got my attention.

  Speaker 1: And then the next week you do it again against
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: a top five Ole Miss team. So at this point,

  Speaker 1: the competition excuse is gone. He's doing it against SEC

  Speaker 1: defenses and he's doing it in big games. I also

  Speaker 1: think he fits exactly what John Summerall wants this team
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: to be. Florida wants to be physical. They want to
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: run the football. They want to make you tackle them
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: all game long. And more importantly, they seem totally comfortable
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: telling you what they're going to do and then saying, okay,
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: stop us. That's a huge change. Before we get into
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: that change, I wanna take a second to tell you

  Speaker 1: Lean on Jaden Baugh. Make the quarterback's life easier. Control

  Speaker 1: the game. And that's one of the reasons Aaron Filo

  Speaker 1: doesn't have to go out there and throw it 45 times.

  Speaker 1: He doesn't have to carry the whole offense. He can

  Speaker 1: be efficient. He can take what's there. Because when Florida

  Speaker 1: needs yards, they've got a running back who can get them.

  Speaker 1: And I think that might be the biggest thing Braug

  Speaker 1: gives this team. He gives them something they can trust.

  Speaker 1: Passing games can be up and down. Quarterbacks can have

  Speaker 1: bad days. Receivers can have drops. But running the football travels.

  Speaker 1: We saw that at Auburn. And if Florida's going to
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: keep winning games, that's probably going to be a huge
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: part of the formula. And then you add in Duke Clark,
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: and it gets even harder to deal with. Clark went
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: over 100 yards against Ole Miss, too. So now defenses
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: aren't even getting much of a break. You spend a
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: drive tackling Baugh, then Clark, and you just don't even
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: know what you're going to do at that point. You've
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: got physical runners coming at you from all sides. That's
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: going to wear on you. And I thought you could
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: really see that in the second half against Ole Miss.

  Speaker 1: Florida just kept leaning on them. And eventually, Ole Miss
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: couldn't get off the field. That's where this offense starts
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: to become a real problem. Now, I know people are
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: going to ask about the Heisman. And look, I'm not
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: sitting here saying Jaden Baugh should be the Heisman favorite
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: after four games. That would be crazy. There's way too
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: much football left. But should his name at least be
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: getting mentioned? Yeah, I think so. Now, I will preface
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: this by saying I think the Heisman has really become
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: such a quarterback award that it's going to be very
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: difficult for a running back to win it. But 600
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: yards and 11 touchdowns in four games is definitely not normal.

  Speaker 1: Five straight 100-yard games is not normal. And doing it
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: for an undefeated Florida team that is now ranked in
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: the top 10, that team's getting attention now, especially if
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: he keeps doing it, eyeballs are going to continue to
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: be on him. And Florida still has a lot of
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: big games left. Saturday, they've got Missouri. Then they've got
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida State. If Florida keeps
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: winning and Baugh keeps putting up these numbers, the national
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: attention is going to come. That part's going to take
• 6:23
  Speaker 1: care of itself. But more than awards, more than rankings,
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: more than any of that, I just think Baugh represents
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: what this Florida team's becoming. They're tougher. They're more physical.

  Speaker 1: They seem more comfortable playing ugly if they have to.

  Speaker 1: And they don't seem afraid to just line up and say, okay,

  Speaker 1: we're running it. Stop us. And right now, teams are
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: having a really hard time doing that. So I think
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: the conversation around Jaden Baugh needs to change. He's not
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: just a good running back. He's not just one of
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: Florida's best players. He is becoming one of the best
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: running backs in the entire country. And if this continues,
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: pretty soon everybody else is going to be talking about
