- 0:00Speaker 1: The Giants, the Rams, oh my, it's tonight. How do
- 0:04Speaker 1: we make some money? Well, me, Art DeCesar and Joe
- 0:07Speaker 1: Ranieri are going to take that game apart. We're going
- 0:09Speaker 1: to give you guys some sharp bets. What did we learn?
- 0:13Speaker 1: In NFL Week 2, we've got some NFL Week 3
- 0:17Speaker 1: discussion coming your way. We've got college football, Week 4 discussion,
- 0:21Speaker 1: every single baseball game on the board, and of course,
- 0:24Speaker 1: our parlay of the day. But before we get into
- 0:26Speaker 1: any of that, Public service announcement! So I just wanted
- 0:33Speaker 1: to let everybody know that Joe Ranieri, Joe, get only
- 0:36Speaker 1: me on the screen, please. This is a very serious announcement.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I'd like everyone to know that Joe Ranieri is a
- 0:42Speaker 1: survivor god. There is no one better in the entire
- 0:45Speaker 1: world than Joe Ranieri. Art DeCesar and I talked Joe
- 0:49Speaker 1: into taking Tampa Bay, and now we are out of
- 0:51Speaker 1: the circa. Joe wanted to take Carolina, so that is excellent.
- 0:56Speaker 1: So Art and I feel really, really bad. Not really.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But I do want to say that Joe is a god.
- 1:02Speaker 1: And Joe, to make it up to you, here's what
- 1:04Speaker 1: I'm going to do. I'm going to put aside $ 1, 000
- 1:08Speaker 1: of my own hard-earned money. You have now taken Vegas
- 1:13Speaker 1: and Carolina. Make it all the way to the end
- 1:15Speaker 1: and the $ 1, 000 is yours. We'll continue the segment. Art,
- 1:18Speaker 1: anything to say?
- 1:21Speaker 2: That's very generous of you. It sucks to have Baker
- 1:25Speaker 2: Mayfield and his survivor because he is a complete clown.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Watching Deshaun Watson run around on that defense was awful
- 1:34Speaker 2: and we're out. But my public service announcement, as Joe
- 1:38Speaker 2: Bass in his glory year, is we went 5-0 in
- 1:42Speaker 2: the millions and we're 8-2. So we're going to make
- 1:45Speaker 2: money in that contest. And we were 4-3 in college.
- 1:48Speaker 2: That's three straight weeks. We're on track to get some
- 1:51Speaker 2: money in that contest. We're going to make some money
- 1:53Speaker 2: this year, boys.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I have one.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Survivor ticket left out of six. Now, none of them's
- 2:02Speaker 1: in the Circa, but I have one left. Anyway, Joe,
- 2:06Speaker 1: in all seriousness, you go undefeated in Survivor, and I
- 2:10Speaker 1: will give you a thousand drachma out of my own pocket.
- 2:14Speaker 1: How about Bitcoin, everybody? Nobody's been suggesting Bitcoin would go
- 2:19Speaker 1: on a run end of August, early September.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:23Speaker 4: I think, though, for those that are new here, I
- 2:27Speaker 4: think we should just let them understand how this all
- 2:31Speaker 4: went down for a second.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay. Let's just do that.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Survivor pick. We argued on our last take, and we
- 2:41Speaker 1: ended up with Tampa Bay. With that said, Joe was
- 2:44Speaker 1: trying to make a case for Carolina. It was a
- 2:47Speaker 1: strong case, and we'll get to it in our NFL
- 2:50Speaker 1: ATS section, but we are going with Tampa Bay and
- 2:53Speaker 1: our Survivor. So, Joe, let's talk NFL ATS.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yep. I just want everyone to understand.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'd like everybody to just take a moment and give
- 3:03Speaker 1: applause to Joe. Joe and Ari, everybody.
- 3:06Speaker 4: And what they don't understand is in that first take,
- 3:08Speaker 4: by the way, I was literally laughed at.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Laughed at when I tell you. I was told two
- 3:14Speaker 3: to one. That's it. Two to one. You're outvoted. Not
- 3:18Speaker 3: doing Carolina. Well, guess what?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Guess what, Joe? You weren't making it all the way
- 3:25Speaker 1: to the end regardless, bro. And as Teddy says, it's
- 3:30Speaker 1: better to be out early than late.
- 3:32Speaker 3: The pressure is off. Okay.
- 3:35Speaker 4: I am still in than more than what? I think
- 3:38Speaker 4: we're down to 8,000 in circa after 21,000, so.
- 3:43Speaker 3: And you have your own?
- 3:45Speaker 1: You have your own?
- 3:47Speaker 4: You think I would rely on your fucking... Of course
- 3:51Speaker 4: I have my own, yes. Is he kidding?
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yes. Okay.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Come on. Survivor God.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You took Carolina?
- 4:00Speaker 3: I took Carolina.
- 4:01Speaker 4: I took San Francisco and went with those two this week.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Oh, he has two art. He's been hiding one. Mate,
- 4:10Speaker 1: why don't we buy one off of you, Joe?
- 4:13Speaker 3: No, no. I don't want you anywhere near any of this. Nothing.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Okay. L.A.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Rams.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Money coming in on the Giants. Minus six and a
- 4:23Speaker 1: half out there. There are a few sevens. The total
- 4:26Speaker 1: has dropped one number. It's now 47 and a half.
- 4:30Speaker 1: This game is at 8.15 Eastern. It's in L.A. Art,
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'll go to you first. What do you like? Do
- 4:36Speaker 1: you see anything? And what type of shark money is
- 4:39Speaker 1: coming in the year? familiar with. Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I mean, you mentioned a giant money and obviously under
- 4:45Speaker 2: money has come in. I would say as far as
- 4:47Speaker 2: the sharp money, the early sharp money was the giants,
- 4:50Speaker 2: especially when you were getting them at a touchdown or
- 4:52Speaker 2: even over a touchdown, anytime they can look to, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 2: bet a key number or over a key number in
- 4:57Speaker 2: the NFL, they're going to do that. And especially off
- 5:00Speaker 2: the week one performance from the giants. And, you know,
- 5:03Speaker 2: not a great week one performance from the Rams. So
- 5:06Speaker 2: I would assume, though, the books still have liability with
- 5:09Speaker 2: the Rams as far as money line parlays and some teasers,
- 5:12Speaker 2: despite some big favorites getting knocked out yesterday. I'm sure
- 5:15Speaker 2: they're still fighting that. But when you have an L.A.
- 5:18Speaker 2: and a New York team, you're going to have good
- 5:19Speaker 2: right on this game. So they'll see good action on
- 5:21Speaker 2: this game.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Joe, do you have any thoughts on this game?
- 5:28Speaker 3: Well, it was as high as what, seven and a half?
- 5:31Speaker 3: Now we're at six and a half.
- 5:34Speaker 4: But I don't really, that move didn't happen until yesterday.
- 5:37Speaker 4: So I'm going to assume that this wasn't like some
- 5:41Speaker 4: sort of united, sharp syndicate.
- 5:44Speaker 3: This was everyone that.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Says seven is just too much of a, you know,
- 5:49Speaker 4: or anybody who likes the underdog getting a touchdown is
- 5:52Speaker 4: probably run to the window and bet it, which is why.
- 5:54Speaker 4: And I don't see it coming back. I don't think
- 5:56Speaker 4: it's ever going to hit seven again. The total is
- 5:59Speaker 4: because we know the public is hammering the over. And
- 6:02Speaker 4: that total has gone from 48 and a half to
- 6:04Speaker 4: 47 and a half. So I think the sharp money
- 6:07Speaker 4: is on the total more than it is on the
- 6:09Speaker 4: side here in this one.
- 6:10Speaker 1: So, Art, my original reaction was to look at the over.
- 6:13Speaker 1: We saw the New York Giants move the ball up
- 6:16Speaker 1: and down on Dallas, but we did watch Washington do
- 6:19Speaker 1: the same, even with Marcus Mariota at quarterback. I don't
- 6:25Speaker 1: know if the Giants can put up enough points for
- 6:29Speaker 1: this game to go over. My original reaction, take the over.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Now I'm thinking to lay off the total. I will
- 6:37Speaker 1: tell you guys, I like the Rams' first half minus
- 6:41Speaker 1: three and a half. I think they come out flying, Art.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And I think they ultimately slow this game down. I
- 6:48Speaker 1: think it's going to be super close to 47, like
- 6:51Speaker 1: a 27-21 type of a game, 24-21 type of a game.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I like the Rams' first half. I lean on the over,
- 7:00Speaker 1: but I'm not going to get there. Do you have
- 7:02Speaker 1: a prop bet?
- 7:03Speaker 3: Anything?
- 7:05Speaker 2: I got actually a couple of hot bets that, you know,
- 7:07Speaker 2: have seen some stuff. You've seen Jackson darts rushing yards
- 7:10Speaker 2: go up from like 28 and a half to as
- 7:12Speaker 2: high as 32 and a half. And I mean, he
- 7:15Speaker 2: had 54 in week one, and this is part of,
- 7:17Speaker 2: this is part of his game, whether me being a
- 7:20Speaker 2: giant fan likes it or not, Jackson darts going to
- 7:23Speaker 2: run around and try to make plays with his legs.
- 7:25Speaker 2: So you saw that move. You saw Blake quorum, get
- 7:27Speaker 2: a little bit of love at a really nice plus
- 7:29Speaker 2: number at almost three to one to score a touchdown.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Anytime touchdown Kyron Williams over his rushing yards as well.
- 7:36Speaker 2: So those are a couple of the props that have
- 7:37Speaker 2: seen some support.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Uh, Joe, you've got nothing for the clients on this game?
- 7:44Speaker 3: I do.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I have a play up in my page at wagertalk.com.
- 7:47Speaker 4: But I will say this, the Rams under McVay, Monday
- 7:52Speaker 4: night has not been good to them. Five and seven
- 7:54Speaker 4: straight up on Monday night for the Rams during the
- 7:57Speaker 4: McVay era.
- 7:59Speaker 1: So, Art, is that a trend worth betting from your perspective?
- 8:03Speaker 1: You know, I mean, is there something there or is
- 8:06Speaker 1: it just going kadink?
- 8:09Speaker 2: I mean, I think any number you should look at
- 8:11Speaker 2: and kind of put it in the back of your mind.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I don't know if it would make me run at
- 8:15Speaker 2: the Giants right now, especially now that you've missed the
- 8:18Speaker 2: best of the number. But I think more the big
- 8:20Speaker 2: thing with the Rams is we saw with the Niners,
- 8:23Speaker 2: they were fine. How are they going to be with this?
- 8:25Speaker 2: They were just in, you know, Australia and they were
- 8:28Speaker 2: there for like 36 hours. How are they going to
- 8:30Speaker 2: deal with that? And, you know, they have a real opponent.
- 8:32Speaker 2: The Niners did not have a real opponent. The Niners
- 8:34Speaker 2: played a JV football team. And one going away. The
- 8:37Speaker 2: Giants are going to come to play and they're going
- 8:38Speaker 2: to be physical.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel so bad.
- 8:41Speaker 3: That coach in Miami.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You dream your whole life. You dream your whole life
- 8:47Speaker 1: of being a head coach. Our chart bets. So we've
- 8:51Speaker 1: got the Giants-Rams game tonight. We've got two WNBA games
- 8:56Speaker 1: and a very small card of baseball. We do actually
- 9:03Speaker 1: have an NHL preseason game. A few of them. Any
- 9:07Speaker 1: sharp bets we need to know about?
- 9:08Speaker 2: Baseball and WNBA, no. The cards are just too small.
- 9:12Speaker 2: And I mentioned the Giants. The Giants getting that 7-7.5.
- 9:14Speaker 2: That was sharp money to make.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Guys, let's go through what did we learn. Let's start
- 9:19Speaker 1: with the NFL. Then we'll move to college football. I'm
- 9:22Speaker 1: going to just throw some teams at you. So I'm
- 9:24Speaker 1: going to talk about Detroit Lions right off the bat.
- 9:28Speaker 1: They lost to Buffalo. This team is back. And I
- 9:32Speaker 1: think if you're a Detroit Lions fan, I think you
- 9:34Speaker 1: could be like, okay. we're going to go on a run.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I think Detroit's a bet on team moving forward. I
- 9:40Speaker 1: think their offense found rhythm at the end of that
- 9:43Speaker 1: game against Buffalo. So I'm looking to bet on Detroit
- 9:47Speaker 1: moving forward. Any quick thoughts on the Lions, Art or Joe, Art?
- 9:51Speaker 2: Well, they need to get their offensive line and secondary intact,
- 9:54Speaker 2: but that division now with the Bears maybe being a
- 9:57Speaker 2: real in a real bad spot here and i still
- 9:59Speaker 2: don't trust minnesota despite being two and up.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Joe i would not i would not overreact to what
- 10:08Speaker 4: you saw they are still going to put up 30
- 10:10Speaker 4: 40 points a game offensively against anybody but if they
- 10:14Speaker 4: don't get healthier and that secondary They're going to have
- 10:17Speaker 4: to score 40 to win games.
- 10:19Speaker 3: And that's it.
- 10:20Speaker 1: So we're talking Minnesota art. They're playing Tampa Bay, Tampa
- 10:24Speaker 1: Bay now. Oh, and two, they're really, really struggling. And
- 10:27Speaker 1: we thought their defense would be half decent coming into
- 10:30Speaker 1: the season. That doesn't look to be the case. Minnesota.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I agree with you.
- 10:36Speaker 1: They got out of Dodge. They got very lucky in
- 10:38Speaker 1: that game, but obviously their defense played outstanding thoughts on
- 10:42Speaker 1: either of those two teams.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Well, listen, the NFL is, you know, a couple of
- 10:48Speaker 2: plays here, a couple of plays there. Minnesota's 0-2, but
- 10:50Speaker 2: they're 2-0. So give them credit, and they won both
- 10:53Speaker 2: games in the division, which is tough to start that way.
- 10:56Speaker 2: And now they go play a team in Tampa who
- 10:58Speaker 2: maybe looks like they're dead, and Minnesota start 3-0. Tampa's
- 11:02Speaker 2: a head-scratcher to me. I don't know what to make
- 11:04Speaker 2: of that team.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Joe?
- 11:07Speaker 4: I mean, listen, they can't get stops when they need
- 11:10Speaker 4: them to, and that offense is just.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Baker Mayfield was overthrowing guys left and right all over
- 11:18Speaker 4: the place. But listen, defense wins if you're Minnesota. Blind
- 11:22Speaker 4: Flores has dominated Chicago. Minnesota has dominated. That's another win.
- 11:28Speaker 4: I think they've won the last five in Chicago. So
- 11:32Speaker 4: they have had the number. And Carson Wentz does not
- 11:35Speaker 4: look terrible. He looks very comfortable in that offense there
- 11:38Speaker 4: in big time.
- 11:40Speaker 3: So.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Listen, as long as they can play defense, they can
- 11:44Speaker 4: win games. I think value, too, because you're going to
- 11:47Speaker 4: keep looking at Carson Wentz. I don't know when Tyler
- 11:50Speaker 4: Murray's going to come back in or if he's going
- 11:52Speaker 4: to come back into it, but they're going to have
- 11:56Speaker 4: pretty good price tags and ability to win games with
- 11:59Speaker 4: that defense, I think, moving forward.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yeah, Prince Harry looked good yesterday. That's for sure.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Art.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Um, let's talk Cincinnati.
- 12:09Speaker 3: What did we learn?
- 12:09Speaker 1: And same with Houston.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Cincinnati, their defense might be legit. Now, I know they
- 12:16Speaker 2: were playing that Houston offense, but... Well, that Houston offense.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Put up 31 on Buffalo the week before.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I know. I mean, Cincinnati looks legit with the defense.
- 12:26Speaker 2: They're still... And the pass rush is incredible for Houston,
- 12:29Speaker 2: but there were still times it looked like they could
- 12:31Speaker 2: protect Burrow, but that's okay. I think, hey, Cincinnati's going
- 12:35Speaker 2: to be fine moving forward. And Houston at 0-2, when
- 12:37Speaker 2: you start 0-2 in the NFL, there's like a 10%
- 12:40Speaker 2: chance you make the playoffs. So Houston's in trouble.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Joe?
- 12:45Speaker 3: Unfortunately, they're not in trouble because C.J.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Stroud is now 0-8 in week one and week two
- 12:54Speaker 4: in his career as a starter.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Wow.
- 12:56Speaker 4: He is yet to win a game the first two
- 12:59Speaker 4: weeks of the NFL season under center for Houston.
- 13:02Speaker 3: But.
- 13:03Speaker 4: For whatever reason, by the time we get to November,
- 13:07Speaker 4: they figure it out.
- 13:09Speaker 3: And I think they'll figure it out again.
- 13:11Speaker 4: I think Nico Collins not being able to stretch the
- 13:13Speaker 4: field hurt them a lot yesterday in that game. But
- 13:16Speaker 4: once again, they still can't run the ball. But they
- 13:19Speaker 4: did have opportunities to get back into that game. I mean,
- 13:22Speaker 4: that was a close game. And hey, what did we say?
- 13:26Speaker 4: Keep our upright.
- 13:28Speaker 3: And Cincinnati has an opportunity to win a lot of
- 13:30Speaker 3: games this season.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I've been saying that all along. Okay, Art,
- 13:35Speaker 1: Baltimore lost. That was a surprise. Indianapolis, I think, need
- 13:40Speaker 1: to feel good about themselves. I think this team is
- 13:44Speaker 1: going to be just fine this year. And Jacksonville and Denver,
- 13:51Speaker 1: I don't know what to make of either of those
- 13:53Speaker 1: two teams. And just quick thoughts, and then we'll end
- 13:55Speaker 1: the segment.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Baltimore always loses when they're a big favorite. They did it, what,
- 14:01Speaker 2: two years ago when they lost to the Raiders, is
- 14:02Speaker 2: that right?
- 14:02Speaker 3: I thought it was Harbaugh was the problem because.
- 14:04Speaker 4: That looked awful like the same old, same old Ravens
- 14:07Speaker 4: with a new head coach.
- 14:09Speaker 3: So maybe it wasn't Harbaugh.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Saints are frisky, though. You got to give the Saints credit.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I mean, they could have won. They should have won
- 14:15Speaker 2: week one, maybe. So the Saints are maybe better off
- 14:18Speaker 2: than we thought. I think Baltimore will be fine in
- 14:22Speaker 2: the end. I don't think they're a 12-win team, but
- 14:25Speaker 2: they're right there as a playoff team. Denver did what
- 14:28Speaker 2: they had to do yesterday. They were at home, came back,
- 14:30Speaker 2: won a game they were supposed to win. And I
- 14:32Speaker 2: was impressed by Jacksonville. I think Jacksonville is a team
- 14:35Speaker 2: that plays hard for the coach, hard to go on
- 14:37Speaker 2: the road and win because they did that last year
- 14:39Speaker 2: in Denver. So it wasn't a surprise that they dropped
- 14:41Speaker 2: that game.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Denver looks a lot more like Denver. What that game.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Was yesterday is Denver. Yeah, that was much better. That
- 14:50Speaker 4: was more on what we were expecting from Denver. And listen,
- 14:53Speaker 4: they laid an egg, but they never do well at
- 14:55Speaker 4: Arrowhead anyway. But they did a really good job at
- 14:58Speaker 4: home yesterday. But they lost Dobbins, I think, hamstring. They
- 15:02Speaker 4: had to have the rookie come in. He was fantastic.
- 15:06Speaker 4: But they don't have a whole lot at the running
- 15:09Speaker 4: back position, so... They're going to keep an.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Eye on who they might fight.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Harvey was out too, yeah.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Yeah, Harvey was out too. So they're thin at the
- 15:17Speaker 4: RB spot there in Denver.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Okay, we're going to talk NFL Week 3 moves coming up.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Our parlay of the day now. Art, I'll give you
- 15:26Speaker 1: my play. We're going with Baltimore against... Toronto Blue Jays.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I think Toronto's done now. Cease is done. The team
- 15:35Speaker 1: is out. The shoulders have to drop. They are probably
- 15:40Speaker 1: pretty pissed. Vlad is a mess. Snyder's a mess. It's
- 15:46Speaker 1: over for Toronto. I'm taking Baltimore.
- 15:48Speaker 3: What do you like?
- 15:50Speaker 2: I'm going with Devontae Adams anytime touchdown.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Okay, Joe. Devontae Adams anytime touched it. I like that.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Giants team total under 20 and a half.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the team total is 20 and a half.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I think it lands on 20.
- 16:07Speaker 3: I feel like a 20 is right there.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Okay, that's our parlay of the day. As far as business,
- 16:15Speaker 1: Joe Ranieri has won a play up tonight in the
- 16:18Speaker 1: Rams and Giants game. I've got leg one of a
- 16:21Speaker 1: three-team money line parlay up tonight. Art DeCesar is passing.
- 16:26Speaker 1: We'll all be back tomorrow. We got a customer service appreciation,
- 16:29Speaker 1: customer appreciation day tomorrow. So check that out. Okay, NFL week.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Three moves.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Let's start with sort of the favorites. Is Green Bay
- 16:40Speaker 1: going to go up, Art? Because they're playing Atlanta, and
- 16:44Speaker 1: seven seems short. FanDuel has a six and a half.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it was six and a half, and a lot
- 16:51Speaker 2: of places have started to go to seven. You've seen
- 16:53Speaker 2: some under money come in at under 45. So you've
- 16:56Speaker 2: seen already those two moves for the Thursday night game.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You saw the Jets take money at seven. You saw
- 17:02Speaker 2: the Bengals take money at minus three. Under in the
- 17:04Speaker 2: Viking game, 44. So those are a couple of the
- 17:08Speaker 2: early moves.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Joe. Joe, where do you think the Seattle is
- 17:13Speaker 1: going to end up? 99% of the money already written
- 17:16Speaker 1: on the Seahawks. Washington, it looks like Jaden Daniels will
- 17:20Speaker 1: not be playing.
- 17:21Speaker 3: You think it'll move up?
- 17:24Speaker 4: I think it'll move up if Sam Darnold is announced
- 17:27Speaker 4: as the back in the starting position.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Drew Locke looked great yesterday. Man, that is a team, boy.
- 17:36Speaker 3: It's still Arizona.
- 17:37Speaker 4: That looked a lot more like Arizona to me yesterday
- 17:41Speaker 4: that we thought we were going to get here. But listen,
- 17:44Speaker 4: I think if Seattle, I mean, the total's at, what,
- 17:46Speaker 4: 40 and a half? So I think if we get
- 17:49Speaker 4: Sam Darnold back, you'll likely see that continue to rise.
- 17:53Speaker 4: But again, it's tough winning on the road in the
- 17:56Speaker 4: NFL here, much less by a touchdown. I don't care
- 17:59Speaker 4: who they're playing. But guys, look at the Chargers schedule, Chris.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Oh, my God. I don't know that they win a game.
- 18:09Speaker 4: I don't know that they win a game here for
- 18:12Speaker 4: the first five weeks. They got to go to Buffalo
- 18:14Speaker 4: now and take that team on? They can't get out
- 18:16Speaker 4: of their own way.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Six.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Fumbles and two interceptions, a missed field goal and a
- 18:23Speaker 4: safety by the Chargers yesterday. How they only lost one
- 18:27Speaker 4: of the six fumbles is beyond me that they recovered
- 18:31Speaker 4: five of their own, but six fumbles in that game yet.
- 18:35Speaker 3: This team is a wreck right now.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Which I think is a record.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I think six fumbles, yeah. And two picks.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And they're on the road playing Buffalo. And you know what, Joe?
- 18:46Speaker 1: We see this story play out. Chargers on the money line.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Well, you notice it hasn't moved off in a key
- 18:56Speaker 4: number of seven. It's still open seven, Art. I think
- 18:59Speaker 4: it's still, oh, maybe even seven and a half.
- 19:01Speaker 3: It's still seven.
- 19:03Speaker 2: This press is right.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Art, they talk about the LA Rams assembling what I
- 19:10Speaker 1: guess they call a dream team. Yeah. I don't know
- 19:14Speaker 1: what the definition of a dream team is, but my
- 19:17Speaker 1: guess is it would be the team that has the
- 19:19Speaker 1: most pro bowlers on it. That is not the LA Rams,
- 19:23Speaker 1: Art DeCesar. Do you know who it is?
- 19:28Speaker 4: Who is it?
- 19:29Speaker 2: The Chargers?
- 19:30Speaker 1: No, it's by far the San Francisco 49ers.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Oh, San Fran, yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 1: And now they're minus nine against Arizona. I released San
- 19:40Speaker 1: Fran at minus 12 and a half to my clients yesterday.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I put up there, this is the largest spread I've
- 19:46Speaker 1: ever released in my life.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I got to look straight at San Fran again. I
- 19:53Speaker 1: think San Fran are deadly. Purdy look great. Unbelievable. And
- 20:02Speaker 1: his legs. He had that one move, that one move
- 20:06Speaker 1: where he faked the throw, dropped his shoulder, came around
- 20:09Speaker 1: and threw to Mike Evans coming in on a crossing route.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I respect that.
- 20:15Speaker 4: They've already lost their other tight end. So Kittle better
- 20:19Speaker 4: not get hurt.
- 20:20Speaker 1: And Stripling is out.
- 20:21Speaker 3: And they lost Stripling.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Demarcus Robinson got hurt yesterday in that game. So they've got,
- 20:27Speaker 4: once again, the injury.
- 20:27Speaker 1: And none of that matters.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Injuries.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Well, it doesn't matter.
- 20:31Speaker 3: When you're playing the worst NFL defense.
- 20:34Speaker 4: But you've beaten nobody here. I mean, you beat the
- 20:37Speaker 4: worst defense in the NFL. The Rams couldn't keep their
- 20:41Speaker 4: eyes open. That was not the Rams that you're going
- 20:44Speaker 4: to see in November. So they had a big leg
- 20:48Speaker 4: up here in that game. So I'm telling you, though,
- 20:51Speaker 4: Miami is the worst defense in the NFL, bar none.
- 20:55Speaker 4: You want to keep winning in Survivor? Keep fading Miami.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Whoever Miami is playing, they might not win two games.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Well, I will say this. Archie and Cooper will accept
- 21:09Speaker 1: Miami as a destination.
- 21:11Speaker 3: They will not. Hard pressed upon a worse team.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Is there a predictive market on Arch playing in Cleveland?
- 21:21Speaker 1: Because I'm going with no. No matter what. No matter what.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Again, that Cleveland defense.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I don't think he plays for the Jets either.
- 21:31Speaker 3: They are not the worst team in the NFL. No.
- 21:37Speaker 4: You get that Deshaun Watson that you got on the
- 21:39Speaker 4: road yesterday and to be that kind of efficient and
- 21:42Speaker 4: that defense, they're going to win six, seven games. They're
- 21:45Speaker 4: not going to be anywhere near the top draft pick.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:49Speaker 3: No, I agree.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I think is is Tampa Bay that bad or is
- 21:55Speaker 1: Cleveland a team that can put some W's on the board?
- 21:58Speaker 3: They're never going to be a favorite part ever.
- 22:01Speaker 4: So I can't imagine Cleveland not having value moving forward.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Like nobody is.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Going to look at that win against Tampa and be like, oh,
- 22:09Speaker 4: we undervalued the. No, they are always going. People are
- 22:13Speaker 4: always going to bet against the Browns no matter what.
- 22:16Speaker 2: No doubt.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Yeah, sure. All right.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Let's talk college football week four moves. Indiana's on 21.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Is that going to move? We've got Navy at seven.
- 22:28Speaker 1: These are important numbers. Louisville, I was on them at
- 22:33Speaker 1: Moneyline bet against Wake Forest. I thought Wake looked half decent.
- 22:39Speaker 3: They're not bad. Texas Tech. Yeah, they were SMU.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Yeah, they played SMU.
- 22:45Speaker 3: SMU, yep.
- 22:47Speaker 1: But Louisville offensively looked outstanding. Defensively, they definitely were sus.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Notre Dame, is it going to go over 28 and
- 22:55Speaker 1: a half? Georgia's at 14. I was on Georgia with
- 22:59Speaker 1: my clients. I mean, Georgia could have named their score.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Is that going to move? And then Ole Miss, tough
- 23:07Speaker 1: spot for them right now.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Plus three and a half against Florida.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Very tough. uh any any yeah very hard tough spot
- 23:14Speaker 1: for old miss uh anything we need to know line
- 23:17Speaker 1: move wise uh for any of these games.
- 23:22Speaker 2: And florida might be a little under the radar i'm
- 23:24Speaker 2: not saying auburn's great but they went into one in
- 23:26Speaker 2: auburn this weekend not a good win no not easy
- 23:29Speaker 2: not easy on the road in the sec tennessee took
- 23:32Speaker 2: some early money They're playing Texas. Obviously, Texas was in
- 23:36Speaker 2: a middle spot here where they had Ohio State. Then
- 23:38Speaker 2: they had a layup. Now they have to go to Tennessee.
- 23:41Speaker 2: We mentioned Florida, a little bit of money. LSU has
- 23:44Speaker 2: seen money. Michigan has seen money. So, you know, Joe
- 23:47Speaker 2: had mentioned before we went on the show, a lot
- 23:49Speaker 2: of big games in college this weekend. It's going to
- 23:51Speaker 2: be fun to talk about them all week and just
- 23:54Speaker 2: kind of see where these numbers settle and where the
- 23:56Speaker 2: groups really hit these games.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Huge move. Joe, USC.
- 24:03Speaker 1: USC-Oregon game.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Back home. I don't know. Is anybody convinced Oregon fixed
- 24:09Speaker 3: their problems?
- 24:10Speaker 2: No, I'm not.
- 24:12Speaker 3: What is the total in that game, Prez?
- 24:14Speaker 1: The total in Oregon is 62.5.
- 24:20Speaker 3: There's going to be some points in that game.
- 24:22Speaker 2: There should be.
- 24:23Speaker 3: There's going to be some points in that game. My goodness. Wow.
- 24:27Speaker 1: No, there are some definite games.
- 24:30Speaker 3: That's for sure.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Missouri, plus six and a half against Mississippi State, two
- 24:34Speaker 1: ranked teams. Is that going to be a seven, Art?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'll say this. It's still a key number,
- 24:43Speaker 2: but it's not as key as it is in the NFL.
- 24:47Speaker 1: What about?
- 24:48Speaker 2: It's just like, what's the total in that game?
- 24:53Speaker 1: That total in that game is 50. No, that's Missouri, which, yeah.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I mean, you have a total that approaches 60. Seven
- 25:04Speaker 2: isn't as key as when it's an NFL, you know, 42.
- 25:08Speaker 4: I had Mississippi State as my big dog of the
- 25:11Speaker 4: weekend there, and they went into South Carolina. And that kid,
- 25:16Speaker 4: that rookie quarterback that Mississippi State has, that kid is
- 25:19Speaker 4: going to light teams up, man. His first true road
- 25:24Speaker 4: start in a hostile environment, he came out in that
- 25:26Speaker 4: second half, Rez, and just lit up that South Carolina defense.
- 25:31Speaker 4: This kid is no wonders in the future of Mississippi
- 25:34Speaker 4: State as far as I'm concerned. I think they're going
- 25:36Speaker 4: to be scoring some points today. And Missouri will as well. So, yeah,
- 25:40Speaker 4: there are going to be some shootouts this weekend. But
- 25:42Speaker 4: keep in mind, Miami has our system play, Prez, because
- 25:47Speaker 4: look at the spread.
- 25:48Speaker 3: And look at the total. I was going to mention it.
- 25:50Speaker 3: You're right. Look at the spread and the total.
- 25:51Speaker 1: It's within 14. So how did those go this past week?
- 25:55Speaker 4: Did Oregon go over? Oregon, they went 82 to nothing.
- 25:59Speaker 4: They won by themselves. They went over.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Ohio State also, same situation, went over.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Penn State.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Yeah. Yep, they all cleared it.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I don't think the Michigan game went over.
- 26:10Speaker 2: It might not, but the Penn State one went over.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I'll say this.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Penn State went over.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Yeah, Penn State went over. I feel like the ones
- 26:20Speaker 2: I were tracking were like 80%.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Right, yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 4: No, Michigan didn't go, but I don't think that was
- 26:26Speaker 4: within 14. I mean, everyone was considering Michigan for, I
- 26:30Speaker 4: have no idea why they were laying that many points,
- 26:33Speaker 4: but okay.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Yep.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Okay, so let's move to our MLB rundown. Not many games.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Go ahead, boys. Microphone's yours.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I don't know. Baltimore, Toronto. Prez hates Toronto. Your Savage
- 26:48Speaker 4: is back, though, versus Shane Boz. What are we thinking here, Art,
- 26:52Speaker 4: in this one?
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the reports are maybe 50 pitches. I'm
- 26:56Speaker 2: with Prez. I think Toronto's dead as a doornail here.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I think Washington and Detroit, I mean, they're literally calling
- 27:03Speaker 4: guys up left and right. Eight is the total in
- 27:07Speaker 4: that one. I can't imagine runs not being scored.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Here, though.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yeah, easy over.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Yeah, and then Minnesota, Zebby Matthews versus San Francisco, who
- 27:17Speaker 4: has pretty much thrown the towel in on the season.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Minnesota here? What are we thinking, Art?
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I can see a lean in Minnesota. It is
- 27:24Speaker 2: a weird MLB day, but I will say this show,
- 27:27Speaker 2: this last week starting tomorrow all the way through Sunday
- 27:29Speaker 2: with still, you know, a couple of things to decide
- 27:31Speaker 2: in the playoff. It's going to be fun to kind
- 27:33Speaker 2: of break a couple of these games down. And I
- 27:35Speaker 2: think there's going to be a lot of spots to
- 27:36Speaker 2: bet here in this last week.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree. That's it.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Okay, boys, we got a great show tomorrow. Ralph Michaels
- 27:44Speaker 1: on Wednesday. Enjoy the Giants-Rams game tonight. Lots of love, everybody.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Kick ass, and we'll see you tomorrow.
