- 0:00Salaam Alaikum, welcome back to Arthur Mughalib.
- 0:02If you are here for the first time, make sure you smash that
- 0:04subscribe button. Stay tuned with everything we're
- 0:06doing every week. If you've been with us on the
- 0:08last couple of months, you'll know that we have been
- 0:10commemorating, of course, the story of Imam Hussein Ali
- 0:13Salaam, what took place on the day of Ashura and everything
- 0:16that took place after it and how it really relates to us in
- 0:19today's day and age. And kind of on a similar note,
- 0:22today we're going to be talking about the life, the legacy, and
- 0:25of course the martyrdom of none other than our beloved Prophet
- 0:28Muhammad, Sallallahu alaihi wasallam khatim nabein Rasallah
- 0:32Muhammad. And this is of course, a
- 0:33discussion which needs no backlog.
- 0:36We know about his martyrdom, his shahada, and if it's not
- 0:38something you've read up on, you can see previous episodes on
- 0:41after Magadib and catch up on that historical analysis.
- 0:45What we are going to do though, is talk about how his perfected
- 0:50and purified legacy is now seen in today's day and age.
- 0:55Living in the West, we all live in a secularized world.
- 0:58We live in a world which is polarized.
- 1:00And as a result of that, we are now in a put in positions where
- 1:05at times we have to defend our faith and kind of understand how
- 1:09to approach these things as Muslims, but of course,
- 1:12particularly as Shia Muslims. I can't do this conversation
- 1:17alone, never have, never will. Maybe I have said Islam, Allah
- 1:34Habibi say it. Condolences to you on the
- 1:37shahada of Rasulullah Muhammad Sallallahu.
- 1:41Muhammad Ali Muhammad, yes indeed.
- 1:43And it's it's a very sad time of year when we remember the very
- 1:46man who gave us Islam, who bought Islam to us and who rank
- 1:50light to a misguided Walt, you know, gave light to the world of
- 1:54Jahili and Al Khandelah. We see the fruits of it today.
- 1:57We look around and we see the Adams playing in the minarets.
- 2:00The mosques are full of people bowing down to do to all last
- 2:03final with Allah. So those are a lot to speak
- 2:05about and be grateful for and remember during these nights of
- 2:08his shahada. And of course, in your intro,
- 2:11you know, you were speaking about there's a time where we
- 2:12defend, we may have to defend ourselves as Muslims.
- 2:16I would say we need to be able to know how to defend Rasool
- 2:19Allah. Of course.
- 2:20Many times there are attacks that come not just to the Muslim
- 2:23world supplies in particular. Now there's a rise of it to the
- 2:26Shia who people come and claim that we have no reverence or no
- 2:31respect or we don't hold the the prophet in a high status.
- 2:35That and I think it's a time where a Shia especially we say
- 2:39we hold on to the pristine teachings of the very man
- 2:42himself, Rasul Allah Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
- 2:45So there's a lot we need to learn.
- 2:46And I realized something, especially leading up to these
- 2:48days of his shahada is that it may sound scary to mention on
- 2:54the podcast, but I feel like there there isn't much interest,
- 2:58God forbid, but there isn't much interest to know about the
- 3:01Sierra of Rasulallah as much as other prominent figures in the
- 3:04family of the albeit Alayam Salaam.
- 3:06And this is something that's a reminder to each and every
- 3:08single one of us that's important.
- 3:10Absolutely, there is a lot of work out there in terms of the
- 3:13Sierra from Books of Arsenal and of course from an academic point
- 3:17of view, as Shia we don't have as much when it comes to art
- 3:20works as a school of thought. However, there are really good
- 3:23works in English. For example, Idolize Jaffa.
- 3:25Subhani has a great book on the life of the of the Holy Prophet.
- 3:29Go and check it out if you haven't already guys.
- 3:31But it kind of goes through the the biography of the Holy
- 3:35Prophet and it doesn't overlook some of the overlooked parts
- 3:39which we find in the other Mozaheb and kind of key elements
- 3:43of his biography, which I think playing important and an
- 3:47imperative role in understanding his will, his ambition, his
- 3:52desire for what this religion was to look like after his
- 3:56Shahada, his death. Ultimately, of course, in the
- 4:00Holy Quran, our last panel to Allah mentions that should
- 4:06Russell Allah, should the prophet be killed or die if he
- 4:13were to die will be killed rather the oh in this I I read
- 4:17earlier today and credit to I think no Islamic education who
- 4:20made an incredible post on this on Instagram.
- 4:23The use of the O in that verse is specific to rather than for
- 4:28example, if he were to die or be killed, it should be if he were
- 4:32to die. No, rather he were to be killed.
- 4:36And of course, this is one of many reference points that we
- 4:39use. For example, also, you know,
- 4:41books within the Shiite school of thought.
- 4:43We have a hadith from the Imams I named Salaam who say that all
- 4:47of us were martyred. He says all of us at the debate.
- 4:52Of course, the head of the family is the Holy Prophet
- 4:55Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.
- 4:57And it goes without saying as well that there are so many
- 5:00other important points to reference.
- 5:03For example, one of the companions after the death of
- 5:08the Holy Prophet said he would swear upon his own life that the
- 5:12Prophet was martyred. And he specifically points to
- 5:15this, say, let me ask you a question.
- 5:18We, of course, now live in a day and age where I would argue
- 5:21racism is completely normalized. OK.
- 5:24So for example, if you look at the White House, you look at
- 5:28Trump's policy on immigrants coming into the UK or into the
- 5:31US rather. Since his second term has
- 5:35started, of course, we know his policies.
- 5:39If I ask you, for example, 2016, what was Trump's slogans?
- 5:43Do you remember? Lock her up.
- 5:48Make America great again. No, no, like what was his key
- 5:51policies? Key policies.
- 5:52Immigration, immigrations. OK, fine.
- 5:54So like Muslim ban, right? Making America number one for
- 5:59business and economy. Build a wall, Muslim ban, All of
- 6:03that sucks. Yeah, all of that.
- 6:05I remember that since his the start of his second term, Trump
- 6:09has allowed just over 6000 immigrants into the US, 6695 or
- 6:15something along those lines. Yeah.
- 6:17Of which three of them were not white immigrants.
- 6:21So all of them were white S Africans.
- 6:25Three of them were Afghans. OK.
- 6:27And if you imagine, like, look at the UK right now, the three
- 6:30countries which have the most national, all the three
- 6:36nationalities which arrived to the UK the most on boats are
- 6:39Iranian, Iraqi and Syrian, if I'm not mistaken.
- 6:45And I just want to ask you this because we've now, of course,
- 6:49lived in a day and age and we've grown up in a post 911 era.
- 6:52Muslims have been criminalised. The name of the Holy Prophet has
- 6:55been damaged, tarnished just now in mainstream pop culture and
- 7:00media and so on. How does it make you feel as
- 7:02someone who goes out there? You're wearing La Bakeia saying
- 7:05on your chest, but you know, you go to, for example, the autobahy
- 7:08in March in London or you go to the supermarket and you're
- 7:11wearing, you know, Islamic dress codes and so on.
- 7:14How does it make you feel as a Muslim living in a society where
- 7:18Muslims generally the labour label of Islam is either
- 7:23tolerated by some or despised by others?
- 7:29Yeah, I need to ask, how does it make me feel?
- 7:33Well, on one level you feel sad that we live in the state of
- 7:36affairs where we have, for example, misrepresentation of
- 7:41who Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam is a
- 7:44misrepresentation of, sorry, a misrepresentation of what Sharia
- 7:48law is, for example. This is a big word that's in the
- 7:51news and online, especially in the US right now, given all the
- 7:55politics that's happening there. By living here in the UK and
- 7:58coming across different communities, going to different
- 8:01areas of London, for example, You do, you do find differences
- 8:07Sometimes you may go to a very diverse area.
- 8:11Let's say you've gone to Brixton for example.
- 8:13Yeah, you feel, you feel fine, you feel all right.
- 8:16But for example, drive down an hour from central London towards
- 8:21Bex Bexley, for example, you feel out of place, people
- 8:25staring at you, people looking at you in a specific way.
- 8:28And I don't think they do on purpose.
- 8:29I just feel like they feel like, OK, what's he doing in our area?
- 8:33Not that they don't want you here, but they have.
- 8:36I feel like maybe there's a threat, a threat to them, but
- 8:38not because this is how they were raised, I would say.
- 8:42I would think it's what they're consuming that's allowing them
- 8:45to think in such a way. But if I can be real how it
- 8:48makes me feel, I don't really care.
- 8:50OK. I can walk the streets and well,
- 8:53whether people like me or hate me for being Muslim or looking
- 8:55Arab or growing a beard or wearing the Baker Hussein
- 8:59Alhamdulillah Al Kulihant, whether it's London or Jamaica.
- 9:02OK, so this word Sharia law is highly, highly disputed.
- 9:08It's a super dividing and polarizing word.
- 9:11In one sentence, tell me what is Sharia law?
- 9:22You know, if I ask you a question, how many days are
- 9:25there in the week, can you say yes or no?
- 9:27No. You can't.
- 9:28So it's not a simple answer, but if, if, if I can just simplify
- 9:33it for those listening. Even Muslims as well, I think
- 9:36many Muslims are scared of that term as well.
- 9:37Sharia, I know I've come across people don't say Sharia I know
- 9:40because some people can get scared or they feel threatened
- 9:43by it. But Sharia I know is what is
- 9:45just telling you basically, you know, be good with your
- 9:49neighbors, honestly respect your parents, don't eat this food,
- 9:54stay away from Haram. You know, don't go after
- 9:57interest, don't go after adultery, don't drink this,
- 10:01don't eat swine. Don't.
- 10:02That's what it is yanny. That's pretty much what it is,
- 10:04is the laws and the commands of Allah Subhanahu attallah.
- 10:07And it's not something to be implemented or forced on
- 10:10non-Muslims. So for someone to be threatened
- 10:13by the word Sharia law, I would say there's only a few elements
- 10:16that threatens them, which is what the world of pornography.
- 10:20If if the UK right now was to implement Sharia law, you have
- 10:24to shut down all the pornography sites.
- 10:26You have to shut down all the liquor and wine aisles and
- 10:28alcohol aisles and Tesco and has done and all that of licences
- 10:32and what is it? You have to reduce or remove
- 10:34completely the interest from every single loan that the banks
- 10:37offer. This is what they're scared of
- 10:39because they want you to gamble. They want you busy to be
- 10:42watching the other world. They want you to be.
- 10:45So in an ideal world, would you like Sharia law to be invented?
- 10:48You would of course, right? Do you not feel that if I I as a
- 10:52neighbor of yours, a non-muslim and this this man of of a Muslim
- 10:58origin has come to move in next door to me and I see him on a
- 11:01podcast saying I would love Sharia law.
- 11:03Man, I'm sick of seeing Beck shops and seeing drunk guys
- 11:07walking around my street. If Sharia Alo was to come to the
- 11:10UKI don't think you will find poverty the way you see it
- 11:14today. That's one.
- 11:15OK, OK. If Sharia Alo was to come to the
- 11:17UK, you know all the hospital beds that are taken over by all
- 11:20the drunks and drug addicts and everything and then HS, what's
- 11:24the pressure coming from? They talk about oh, we don't
- 11:26have XYZ. But I could easily, just to play
- 11:28devil's advocate, I could easily combat that by saying that look
- 11:31at healthcare systems in Muslim countries.
- 11:34Look at, I would argue, for example, you mentioned
- 11:37pornography. Yeah, immorality.
- 11:39Look at the flipping the levels of pornography uses in these
- 11:43countries, Pakistan, parts of India, Saudi Arabia, off the
- 11:48charts. Like those are the number even
- 11:50for example, things, other things which are illicit within
- 11:53the without getting into too much detail, you know, for
- 11:56example, the LGBTQ movement is highest in some areas of South
- 12:00Asia or the Middle East. So I would argue that Sharia law
- 12:04as a term is of course criminalised to some degree.
- 12:10It's it's, it's, it's used in such a way to make people feel
- 12:13threatened. If I was to answer in my humble
- 12:17opinion in one sentence what Sharia law is, I would say
- 12:20Sharia law is a code of conduct which is expected upon Muslims
- 12:26and a set of laws or regulations to govern how we follow matters
- 12:32like worship, ethics, morality, interpersonal contact and
- 12:39conduct, things like that. So for example, I as a Muslim,
- 12:43what are the laws I have when I, I don't know, want to take a
- 12:49loan from the bank? Do I have to pay it back?
- 12:51How fast do I pay it back? Do I pay interest?
- 12:53Is there a cap on it? If I want to, for example, sell
- 12:59weapons or sell alcohol or sell a bacon sandwich?
- 13:05I own a Greg's. What do I do?
- 13:07Am I allowed to do it or not? These are the things which of
- 13:10course we're talking about. But of course, this word has
- 13:13become demonized slightly. As well who's who is weaponizing
- 13:18it as the politicians. Yeah, I think it's.
- 13:20More close to the politicians, yeah.
- 13:22Or as the people who are who have connections to the ARM
- 13:25industries. So obviously there's A to.
- 13:26The gambling industry, although the drinking industry.
- 13:28Right, So there are lobbies, right.
- 13:30So each in, in all of the, in Western society, each the
- 13:35Chamber of power is, is typically influenced by pressure
- 13:39groups or lobbies and so on and so forth.
- 13:42And the most powerful lobbies will of course, advocate for
- 13:44areas of their interest where there's maximum profitability.
- 13:47So for example, the NRA is the largest lobby in the US, right,
- 13:52the National Rifle Association. So they will lobby for, you
- 13:56know, gun sales and arms sales and the right for the Second
- 13:59Amendment and so on and so forth, possession and so on.
- 14:02And with that, they then have an ability to advertise or even
- 14:05further than that to push media, push pieces in the news about,
- 14:10for example, numbers of attacks and someone coming down or, you
- 14:15know, so on and so forth. That's a bad example, but you
- 14:17generally get what I mean. And I think the same then
- 14:19applies to any other industry. The issue is, is that generally
- 14:22speaking, in my humble opinion, in the UK, we don't have a lobby
- 14:25which represents Muslims to a point which doesn't even, for
- 14:29example, put our interests forward.
- 14:31Because ultimately our responsibility as Shia Muslims,
- 14:34and I specify Shia Muslims and not as Muslims in general, but
- 14:37our responsibility as Shia Muslims is to live life to the
- 14:41best ability, to try and reach our highest potential, to get as
- 14:44close as we can to God and to be in an environment which allows
- 14:48us to try and get closer to God. So that means my friends, my
- 14:50family, my workplace, so on and so forth, to surround ourselves
- 14:53in places where we can try and perform as Muslims and Asia
- 14:58Muslims. The UK has given Muslims and the
- 15:01US ample freedom, ample opportunity.
- 15:06Many of us are mother countries in our homelands are nowhere
- 15:10near the western world when it comes to things like GDPGDP per
- 15:13capita, levels of health, levels of crime, so on and so forth.
- 15:19But I do think that we sometimes overlook the the need for us to
- 15:24be able to put ourselves forward.
- 15:25You know what's important to recognise as Shia Muslims, we
- 15:30follow a pristine set of teachings that's taught by the
- 15:33Holy Prophet and his family. So there are two pieces of work
- 15:36which are unique, I would argue to our school of thought which
- 15:39other Muslims don't have. Fair play to them.
- 15:41Let them do their thing. But we are nonviolent people.
- 15:45We're people who live by a set of treaties, charters.
- 15:48I would point people to two sets of work.
- 15:50The first being the peak of eloquence NACHA Balaga authored
- 15:53by Imam Ali Nabi Talib Ali Aslat Islam compiled then in the book
- 15:58called NACHA Balaga many several centuries after his death.
- 16:02The second being treaties of rights were certain He'll talk
- 16:05by Imam Sajada, 4th Holy Imam Ali Salatu Salam.
- 16:08There are verses in the treaties of rights, things like not just
- 16:13the rights of people and human rights, the rights of society,
- 16:16the rights of animals, the rights of wildlife, the rights
- 16:19of the inner conscience, the rights of the traveller, the
- 16:21rights of the teacher, the rights of the student, the
- 16:23rights of the parents. These are things which of course
- 16:25we know about the. Rights of a business partner.
- 16:27The rights of a business partner.
- 16:28Everything you can when you look.
- 16:29At the way of life. It's a way of life even.
- 16:31For example, you look at Kofi Annan, who was the former UN
- 16:34secretary general. Kofi Annan had a plaque and on
- 16:37that plaque it said a man is either your brother in faith or
- 16:41your equal in humanity. And these are things which we
- 16:44look to these Islamic figures. Imam Ali in his government, he
- 16:49eradicated poverty. His son Imam al Hassan al Islam
- 16:53was his treasurer. How do we get to a war with 1400
- 16:56years ago Middle Eastern society in a wild pre electricity?
- 16:59How did that world eradicate homelessness and poverty?
- 17:03Genuinely I can't understand it. There must be a set of
- 17:05principles which we can try and follow.
- 17:07They're neither socialist nor they're capitalist, than neither
- 17:09communist nor Marxist, but there are principles which we follow.
- 17:13Ultimately, Long story short, those sets of principles, in my
- 17:16humble opinion, is what we call Sharia.
- 17:19Though no, you're right. And for example, you ask about
- 17:21this whole idea of how was it, how was it even possible that
- 17:24during the rule as Khalifa Imam Ali Salaam that there was no
- 17:29poverty? I'm not going to say around the
- 17:31world, from what I understand is where he had rule over, there
- 17:35was no poverty in that region, part of the region of the world.
- 17:37Was that because there was no greed, there was no corruption?
- 17:40I think corruption is the right word to use.
- 17:42Look at the wall today. You know, a lot of people be in
- 17:45RR or be in the US or be it Marshall Allah and all the
- 17:49democratic elected politicians around the world, they're
- 17:53swimming in corruption. But why?
- 17:55It just has their name and a nice company name on an invoice
- 17:58and that's it. No, it's all corruption.
- 18:00It's all hidden any from from public view.
- 18:02But they all live in the world of greed and corruption.
- 18:05I look at, for example, there's a lot to discuss, but I think
- 18:09everyone's missing the point here.
- 18:11My, my, my, my biggest theory and all of This is why is there
- 18:16such a high conversation happening, which is, you know,
- 18:20we should be scared of Muslims, we should be scared of Sharia
- 18:23law, we should be scared of people coming into our country.
- 18:28And that's because either there is a war happening which
- 18:33involves a Muslim country, or there is a plan happening to go
- 18:37to war against a Muslim country. Because the more they make you
- 18:40fair us, the more likely you'll agree if they go to war against
- 18:44a Muslim land, for example, or against a Muslim country.
- 18:47The more they demonise us, the more it's fine that you can kill
- 18:50the women and children in those countries.
- 18:52So I don't know why they're scared of Islam or Muslims.
- 18:55Are you're scared of Israel and US foreign?
- 18:59Policies that's the so many things to be aware of first
- 19:02being you look at for example the IIFL survey they ran a poll
- 19:07which said 78% of Muslims in the UK feel that the UK is a place
- 19:12for them to grow with them and their families in comparison to
- 19:1560% of the national average. 60% of non-muslim Brits feel that
- 19:20the UK is the right place for them to call home.
- 19:22Imagine this is these British people who are not Muslim.
- 19:24Whereas 78% of people are Muslim.
- 19:26Look at democracy figures for example. 82% of Muslims in the
- 19:30UK feel that democracy as a system of governance is an
- 19:34effective system. More than the majority of of
- 19:38non-Muslims living in the UKI can't remember the exact
- 19:41statistic. There's substantially more
- 19:43Muslims believe that. Look at things like contributing
- 19:46back to society. On average Muslims give more
- 19:49charity. I'm not even just saying Muslims
- 19:51because of course all Muslims give us a cart.
- 19:53Shia Muslims give humps. Which is 1/5 of our disposable
- 19:56income. Giving back towards charitable
- 19:58courses on an annual basis. At least at least nine out of
- 20:0310/9 out of 10 Muslim households give charity on an annual basis.
- 20:07Not only give some charity but give substantial amounts of of
- 20:12funding towards charity. I feel that Muslim communities
- 20:16in the UK are highly, highly polarized.
- 20:20So the poorest groups of people are, for example, statistically
- 20:24speaking, a middle-aged East London Bangladeshi hijabi woman.
- 20:30Statistically that's like the lowest on, on kind of the
- 20:34economic scale. But at the same time, the rate
- 20:37of growth, for example, for Muslim entrepreneurs, Muslims in
- 20:41parliament, Muslim counsellors, Muslims in the NHS, Muslims in
- 20:45the education sector, all of the other major sectors.
- 20:48The contribution that our parents have allowed us to have
- 20:52now, you know, after coming here and developing it is
- 20:56unfortunately not the story being told by mainstream media
- 20:59nor the story being told by politicians.
- 21:01And not only that, now the most powerful people in the world,
- 21:04the richest people in the world, like Elon Musk is now not only
- 21:07pushing a narrative against Muslims, but also narrative
- 21:11against Shia, which will come to.
- 21:15Do We have a clip much by any chance on, on Elon Musk?
- 21:19Because I think it's there's a, have you seen it say there's a
- 21:22tweet he put out. I remember a few weeks ago there
- 21:25were, if I'm not mistaken, it was Muharram and he shared a
- 21:29clip or no caption. No caption, just Shia Muslims
- 21:34commemorating the martyrdom of let's watch this.
- 21:38Oh, it's right there. But now, honey.
- 22:00Interesting, how does that make you feel?
- 22:01That's been seen 45,000,000 times.
- 22:04Posted by Elon Musk worth over $800 billion.
- 22:07The richest man on earth. The fascist far right South
- 22:12African who until recently had a position in the Trump governor
- 22:16government in his cabinet. He posted this on his Twitter
- 22:20with no caption trying to obviously incite something.
- 22:23What do you think he's trying to incite?
- 22:25I think he's trying to incite or the fact that there is no
- 22:33caption is as if he's done like a mic drop.
- 22:37Look what I just discovered, and you guys don't know what's
- 22:39happening in the West as we've been taken over, not just by
- 22:43Muslims and migrants and whatnot, Shia Muslims.
- 22:47Do you think he actually knows? Of course he knows, bro.
- 22:50How, how would I'm just asking, yeah, my opinion aside or my
- 22:55belief, how would he or anyone else watching know if that's
- 23:00Muslim, Sunni or Shia if you didn't have the Naha there?
- 23:021st of. All or even if you did, how
- 23:04would they? How would a non-muslim know?
- 23:05First of all, the way we dress, the way we gather, when we
- 23:09commemorate and clearly we're beating our chests.
- 23:12Who does that? Just the Shia, just the Shia do
- 23:15that. So it's very clear that that he
- 23:17has a problem with Shia Islam and in fact he has a problem
- 23:20with Islam in general. I've come across a different
- 23:21clip where I think there was this presenter where she was
- 23:24asking him like, do you hate Islam?
- 23:27Are you racist or something? And so I don't remember the full
- 23:30context but once I watched that. You got that clip.
- 23:32Oh, it's right there. Let's go there.
- 23:36Are you anti Muslim? Anti Muslim.
- 23:39I am, I'm, I'm against having, if people are coming to a
- 23:49country with antithetical views, I am against that.
- 23:59I'm against that, you know, I'm against, I'm against rape and
- 24:05murder. I'm against the imposition of
- 24:13rules and laws that are contrary to what we've come to accept in
- 24:22the West. That's crazy.
- 24:28Why do you Why don't you think he answered it directly?
- 24:31Do you know how easy it would be for him to say no I'm not anti
- 24:34Muslim? Forget even that if you wanted
- 24:37to be politically smart and correct and appease his own
- 24:40audience, he could say I'm against any extremist.
- 24:43I'm against anyone who's pro crime, I'm against anyone who's
- 24:47pro hate. If you didn't want to say no I'm
- 24:49not anti Muslim. He could have just said I'm
- 24:51against extremism. But for him to specifically talk
- 24:55about antithetical views to Western values in Western
- 24:59society and then to talk about rape and murder, which I think
- 25:03is absolutely abhorrent and absurd, especially when you look
- 25:06statistically at things. For example, he mentions murder.
- 25:09Let's look at murder. If you look at far right attacks
- 25:11in the US versus Muslim attacks, forget even as numbers, because
- 25:15obviously Muslims are dominating.
- 25:16They're 1 to 2% of the population in the US.
- 25:19Look at it as a percentage, the percentage of, of, of attacks in
- 25:23the last 10 years in the US that are classified as terror
- 25:27attacks. The majority of them are far
- 25:29right nationalists, OK, Even Charlie Kirk, who was obviously
- 25:34assassinated last year of September, his own killer, was a
- 25:37far right nationalist. So if you imagine all of these
- 25:40things which have kind of led us to where we are now, even, for
- 25:42example, the guy who shot Donald Trump in his ear is a white guy.
- 25:46He wasn't a Muslim, right? So I'm not trying to say it
- 25:49would be wrong of us to demonize any ethnic group or religious
- 25:52group and say they are the cause and the source of antithetical
- 25:56values to Western society. It would make no sense for him
- 26:00to do that. I'm sure the world and
- 26:03mainstream media would have reacted entirely differently if
- 26:07someone asked him, are you anti Jewish?
- 26:11And he didn't say no, but he did say I'm anti rape and murder.
- 26:17Do you know what I mean? So I think everything is it just
- 26:19comes back to the fact that, you know, if he was asked about
- 26:22Judaism or Christianity or Hinduism, for example, we would
- 26:26have probably heard a different. Answer Elon Musk is definitely
- 26:31anti Muslim 100% it goes without saying I think he's anti anti
- 26:36God in in all honesty and he's anti anything that takes you
- 26:40towards the path of Torhid and it's.
- 26:42Very clear. This is normalized now.
- 26:43This is the problem. Trump is Donald Trump is the
- 26:48president of the United States has been for 10 years minus the
- 26:52four years where we had a absent minded Joe in power.
- 26:55But in in reality, like this is normal.
- 26:58Like this is completely normal. Do you see what I mean?
- 27:01Like like lies, bigotry, racism, hate, sexism, all of these
- 27:05things, allegations of association to paedophiles,
- 27:08allegations of, of like saying extremely pervert things about
- 27:12his own family, his own daughters.
- 27:14Like the guy is, is like loony. And to normalize on top of that
- 27:19anti Muslim rhetoric is completely like it's, it's, it's
- 27:23not something which was pre 2016 where we lived in this age of
- 27:27Prevent. And you know, in the UK, for
- 27:30example, the crackdown on, on Wahhabism and Salafism, Jihadi
- 27:35John and this and that Channel 4 docs.
- 27:38And the world has changed now, bro.
- 27:40We've seen, for example, Shia preachers, Shia scholars.
- 27:43OK, let's talk about this. Let's focus.
- 27:44On so for example, that Shia scholars, she are organizations,
- 27:48she are charities and of course we don't have access to their
- 27:51books, we don't have access to these details.
- 27:53We're obviously independent and disassociated from anyone on an
- 27:56official basis, but of course, some of these people are people
- 27:58we know on a personal basis. There are scholars, charities,
- 28:01organizations which have had smear campaigns directed towards
- 28:05them recently, some scholars recently, some scholars in the
- 28:09last couple of years. And some of these scholars are
- 28:12friends of ours or perhaps even people that we've known for many
- 28:14years. What's the first thing that
- 28:18you'd want to say in regards to this?
- 28:23Depends who we're talking to. Are we talking to our community?
- 28:27Are we talking to the people who are doing?
- 28:29I think the first thing is talk, talk, talk to our community
- 28:32about this. Now, if I speak to our
- 28:35community, when we look at, for example, our scholars having a
- 28:39spare campaign going against them or parts of their texts or
- 28:45lectures or sermons, are they deliver being taken out of
- 28:48context? What's the reason behind it?
- 28:52The reason behind it is, is #1 firstly, of course, is to bring
- 28:56a bad image to Islam. There's definitely an agenda
- 28:59there that's happening. 100% would be it's our scholars or
- 29:03scholars from different sects or whatever it may be.
- 29:05But when it comes to our people, when it comes to our teachers
- 29:09and our scholars and everything, of course, it affects us on a
- 29:11personal level because we think about the work that they do,
- 29:14they continue to do over the many years and inshallah until
- 29:17the very last breath that they take in this life before they
- 29:20meet their Creator is that this is the path of hack, bro, the
- 29:24truth, the truth, everyone's going to attack it.
- 29:28The Quran says Ek thorough home little hack be carry the
- 29:31majority, the majority of the people, bro, they hate the
- 29:34truth. Why?
- 29:36So ultimately, in my opinion, people are just afraid of the
- 29:40truth. And I just want to focus on
- 29:41truth and hack because it's very important because we can trace
- 29:44the hack back to the Anil Bates, back to Amir al Mumi, and
- 29:47eventually back to Rasoolallah sallallallahu alaihi wasallam,
- 29:50where they called him a liar. And he was spreading truth and
- 29:55he was taking people out of darkness and into lights and he
- 29:59was giving rights to people and he was defending people.
- 30:03And he was known as Saud Amin. Yeah, they called him a lion.
- 30:07They said stay far away from Muhammad.
- 30:09So of course this is something we're not strange with and we're
- 30:12used to this people attacking. And The thing is, you know as
- 30:16well, speaking in favour of people or something that only
- 30:19prophet to us to do. Never let yourself get bullied
- 30:22and never say anything. Never, never stay silent when
- 30:26you see bullying take place. We've had friends or perhaps
- 30:29people in in the Shia community in the West, scholars, teachers,
- 30:33speakers who have spoken up against oppression, have spoken
- 30:36up against genocide, for example, in Palestine, in
- 30:40Lebanon, in Iran, wherever they've seen a form of
- 30:44oppression or blood spilling taking place.
- 30:47And people who have spoken up, unfortunately at times have been
- 30:49targeted. And even in our university
- 30:52societies, we're seeing that there are societies which are
- 30:54being targeted, like a lot of the times, a lot of the times.
- 30:58I appreciate that there has to be in this, my humble opinion,
- 31:02there has to be caution when you speak about things, but never,
- 31:07ever, ever, ever allow yourself as a Shia Muslim to say to stay
- 31:12silent. Would you see something wrong
- 31:14happening around you? That could be in your local
- 31:16facilities, in your communities, in your families, in your
- 31:19friends circles, or it could be on a national scale.
- 31:22And what we see geopolitically at the moment, unfortunately is
- 31:25not right. How can anyone say that it's OK?
- 31:29We've seen 100,000 people minimum minimum be killed in
- 31:33Palestine. Every single genocide scholar in
- 31:36the world has said it's the genocide, has said apartheid.
- 31:41And even on top of that to then say I am for example one may say
- 31:46I'm an anti Zionist. To then equate that to be
- 31:49anti-Semitic in and of itself is in my humble opinion it's
- 31:54illogical. I'm against the political
- 31:56ideology of expansionism, of apartheid states, of
- 32:00discriminatory behaviour between two types of people from an
- 32:03ethnic background, two different ethnic backgrounds.
- 32:06This these are political matters, political matters which
- 32:09unfortunately sometimes are void of human nature and morality.
- 32:13We're not talking about religious freedom.
- 32:15Muslims, Christians and Jews are Abrahamic faiths.
- 32:18We consider ourselves cousins from the same lineage, right?
- 32:22So with that in mind, we believe that pluralism.
- 32:25There are Muslims, Shia, Sunni scholars who believe that those
- 32:29of Abrahamic faith will eventually reach heaven, right?
- 32:33But with that in mind, put this aside.
- 32:35Now we're talking about matters of human life and justice and
- 32:39morale, a kind of morality. I think these are things which
- 32:43we can never stay silent on. And I think those out there who
- 32:46are considering whether to use their voice or for example, you
- 32:53know, I might have some issues at the airport, whatever.
- 32:58Like bro, unfortunately we're we're we're we're Muslims who
- 33:01are born post 9/11. All of us have issues at
- 33:05airports. Whether you like or no.
- 33:07Yeah. Being Muslim or.
- 33:09Comes in this package. Name or looking from a certain
- 33:13part of the world, yeah, you're going to be brushed aside
- 33:16whether you like. Or not.
- 33:17Our faith, our religion teaches us to give a helping hand to
- 33:21someone in need. But before I came here, a guy
- 33:23broke down in his car. My faith, I remember in my mind
- 33:27I was thinking the guys look like he looks a bit dodgy.
- 33:29I don't think he, I don't think he, I think he might have been
- 33:32drunk or whatever. His car broke down.
- 33:35And I thought to myself, well, my faith has told me that if the
- 33:37guy's stranded, I should offer him help.
- 33:39So I did that. He said he had his own plan
- 33:44sorted, but at the same time, like, that's what we're taught
- 33:47to do, right? So yeah.
- 33:49But you know with all this. This is what the holy.
- 33:51Prophet has taught us with all this being said, and it's nice
- 33:53that you just mentioned it right now, that this is what the Holy
- 33:55Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Hawaii seldom taught us because it
- 33:58shouldn't change who we are. I shouldn't change our ethics,
- 34:02our our morals, our stances, our values, our principles.
- 34:06They should remain the same whether the world is against us
- 34:09or we're having a good day, whether we feel like God is not
- 34:12on our side or God's given us everything in this dunya.
- 34:16We shouldn't change who we are. And if we go back to the very
- 34:19man himself who we are remembering, who is Rasulullah
- 34:23sallallahu alaihi Wali wasallam, there are many stories that we
- 34:26come across during his lifetime where it didn't matter where
- 34:30people were throwing rocks or whether they were throwing trash
- 34:33at him. He would not disrespect them.
- 34:36He would not, if I can use the word scold them if that's the
- 34:42appropriate word to use us. And there's there's even a time
- 34:44where there is there was this individual who used to
- 34:48constantly from their house throw trash and tell kids from
- 34:55the neighboring homes to throw rocks and stones towards the
- 34:58Holy Messenger, peace be upon him.
- 35:00Arasul Allah would walk past this house almost on a daily
- 35:04basis. And every time he passed this
- 35:07house, he would bleed because of what these individuals were
- 35:11doing. And this was happened many,
- 35:13many, many times until one time the Prophet once once again
- 35:17walked past this alleyway and no one threw rocks at him, no one
- 35:21threw stones at him, no one threw trash at him, no one was
- 35:25swearing towards him. So he went to ask.
- 35:28He was like he asked the neighboring homes.
- 35:30He was like, where are those people who used to throw stones
- 35:33at me today? Where are they they?
- 35:36And they said they are on their deathbed, they are sick, they
- 35:41are soon losing their life. So Rasul Allah didn't say Oh no
- 35:46good riddance or and handle Allah that dying or handle no,
- 35:50he wants to visit them. He wants to visit the the the
- 35:53head of that gang, if I can call them who are attacking the
- 35:56Prophet and he went to them and he said, is there anything that
- 36:01I can do before you leave this world?
- 36:03Do you have any depths that I can look after?
- 36:05Are there any members you want me to speak to?
- 36:08Like this is how Rasul Allah was speaking to that individual.
- 36:12That individual told him who are you like you, you are Muhammad
- 36:18and people say you are Sadiq and you are Amin, but honestly who
- 36:22are you? And he told that I am Rahmat and
- 36:24Allah Amin, I am the mercy to mankind.
- 36:27And was at that time they said Ashadu Allah Allah Allah Allah
- 36:32Washhadu and Naka Muhammadan Rasool Allah Allah Muhammad, Ali
- 36:37Muhammad. And it was that interaction that
- 36:39saved this individual's life before the Angel of death took
- 36:43us all. Lakshuf Rasoolallah didn't.
- 36:47It didn't care if he bled. It didn't care if they threw
- 36:50stones at him. It didn't care if they called
- 36:51him a liar. Asana didn't care if his own
- 36:54wife said he was bewitched, really didn't.
- 36:58He didn't care. They used to say, at the time of
- 37:00the Prophet, they used to say Rasoolallah wanted to commit
- 37:02suicide. It didn't change who he was.
- 37:05He didn't raise his volume at them.
- 37:07He didn't go attack them. He didn't evict them from their
- 37:10home. He didn't do anything of this.
- 37:12He remained teaching the principles and the values of
- 37:14what Allah, Subhanahu Attallah said them out to be.
- 37:17And this is what's made this religion beautiful.
- 37:19And Rasoolallah says there was no prophets.
- 37:22That was hurt as much as I was hurt, yes, but that didn't
- 37:26change who he was. And then Handela and Handela and
- 37:29I think people are waking up. I've come across so many
- 37:34interactions online, especially on on Instagram.
- 37:38I've come across certain videos from certain creators and
- 37:41influences who are not Muslim, who have never opened up the
- 37:46Quran, who have never come across a Muslim community.
- 37:52They've never spoken to any man from the local mosque.
- 37:54They've never been inside the Masjid.
- 37:56They don't know what the halal and harama of Allah, but they
- 38:00read about the biography of Rasul Allah and rather the
- 38:04beginning. I was like a lot of Shia.
- 38:06I don't read the serial Rasul Allah.
- 38:07Here we have non-Muslims reading into the life of Muhammad
- 38:11sallallahu alaihi Wali wasallam and are being inspired and
- 38:15what's what's inspiring them. It's not him saying OK, you have
- 38:18to pray five times a day or for example, this is the way you do
- 38:22or do. None of this is how he
- 38:24interacted with the community. That's what and sometimes that's
- 38:27what we need. And when the world is saying,
- 38:30when the world is saying that we are evil, that we are murderers,
- 38:33we are rapists, we are coming to conquer non-muslim lands and we
- 38:38are no Barakis bro. Barakis, we are here to ensure
- 38:42that your daughters, they grew up with good men.
- 38:46They grew up in a society where there isn't a rise in STD's and
- 38:50AIDS and all of these evil diseases.
- 38:54And there's a reason why Allah sent Rasoolallah Salallahu
- 38:58alaihi al Amin. And you want to attack out the
- 39:02problem. The reason I mentioned that
- 39:03because they attack our sisters, they say they are oppressed.
- 39:07I will, I, I, I, I tell you now, do you know any sister Ahmet as
- 39:11a Muslim? Do you know any sister who a
- 39:14Muslim has put his daughter or his niece or his wife or his
- 39:18auntie or his mum at gunpoint and said where the hijab or I'll
- 39:23kill you? No, of course not.
- 39:26But this is how they're portraying you.
- 39:30That's a solid thumbnail, by the way, much You know what say that
- 39:33is doing this, Yeah. There's a lot I want to say, but
- 39:38I'm. Not no, I agree with you.
- 39:39I agree with. You I don't want to get
- 39:40cancelled. Look, ultimately, look, bro,
- 39:42let's let's kind of wrap it up, but I think we're on the same
- 39:44page here. And that's beautiful stories and
- 39:46thank you for sharing that. It just goes to show ultimately,
- 39:51you know, when we talk about what sallallahu Muhammad,
- 39:53sallallahu alayhiwala, what he said, I have come to perfect
- 39:58your akhlaq mukharam al akhlaq, you know, adab and kind of these
- 40:04kind of basic human things. That is what religion is about.
- 40:09Religion is about just being a good guy or a good girl, trying
- 40:14your best, being nice to people around you, praying to your Lord
- 40:18and returning to your Lord. And then with that comes all
- 40:20these caveats like of course matter of Allah and his chosen
- 40:24Hajj on earth. And these are the things which
- 40:26we try and strive for. No one cares about hurting
- 40:28anyone bro, just crack. On this, this is it, this is,
- 40:31this is. This is the secret.
- 40:33Be a good dude bro. Ultimately as well.
- 40:39And my humble suggestion, my advice to my my brothers and
- 40:43sisters at home, stop watching right wing streamers.
- 40:48Don't watch any of these guys. I'm sure no one does but Ben
- 40:53Shapiro or Nick Fuentes or Asman Gold or any of these guys.
- 40:59Any of them are in town. Come on the podcast, we'll have
- 41:02a chat. Sharla, we'll put you in in
- 41:04place. You know, you know, there's, I
- 41:09think we're coming towards the end of the conversation, but
- 41:10there is one thing I want to mention because you mentioned
- 41:12akhlaq and how Rasul Allah was, you know, come here to perfect
- 41:15akhlaq and everything. Think of it as a Muslim
- 41:18individual. I'm going to think of this you
- 41:20think of and Sharla, those listening will think of this as
- 41:23well. Imagine you pray five times a
- 41:26day, not just at home. You go to the messages five
- 41:30times a day, Marshall, but you have no o'clock.
- 41:34Yeah. What's the what kind of?
- 41:35Sun Yeah. And of course, of course.
- 41:36What's the point though? On the day of Ashura, they
- 41:38prayed. Look what they then did. 2 hours
- 41:42before that, they were spoken to by the Holy Imam.
- 41:46On the day of Ashura, they prayed.
- 41:48While some of them were praying, the others were shooting arrows
- 41:50at the Imam while he was praying.
- 41:52Can you imagine what sort of people are these?
- 41:54The same people who prayed behind the Imam with then the
- 41:57ones who killed him or attempted to assassinate him during his
- 41:59Salah, like they assassinated his father during his Salah.
- 42:03You know, Allahu Alam, These are the kinds of people they will
- 42:06always be the sons of Habil and the sons of Kaabil.
- 42:08Ultimately, that's what it is. Speaking about his father, Emir
- 42:10Al Mutmaneen and how I said earlier on people used to call
- 42:13Muhammad Alaya, you know the word, Speaking of Salah, Pete,
- 42:17when when Imam Ali was killed by Ibn Munjalah Ali, when he was
- 42:21struck by the sword, eventually a few days later he was martyred
- 42:25by that strike, the poisonous strike.
- 42:27People were shocked in Sham in Surya, they said what Imam Ali
- 42:34died was was struck was on Salah because there was Mahawya made
- 42:39the huge campaign the way Elon Musk does or the way Bibi
- 42:43Netanyahu does or the way Donald Trump does of how Muslims are
- 42:47right now. Imagine Mahawya being the Trump
- 42:52of that time, for example. He made the the Muslims in Sham
- 42:55to believe Imam Ali didn't pray to that extent, of course.
- 42:59So it it shows you, it's, it's the media, it's the narrative,
- 43:02it's so the more you consume the wrong content, the more you're
- 43:07likely you're bound to. Which is why.
- 43:09To be misguided or you know, have certain views, which is
- 43:13upsetting and a lot of Muslims do you know today.
- 43:16Make sure the content you're consuming is the right content

- 43:45Make sure you check them out as well.
- 43:47Say it now. Can I say one thing?
- 43:50Come on bro, I know you want to talk about the wobble.
- 43:52I do bro. Because it's amazing.
- 43:54I have one at home. I look at it every day.
- 43:56Every day I drink from it. So make sure you do get it.
- 43:59Visit aftermath.com. But there was a clip I came
- 44:02across a final thing where I saw, you know, Sneako and he's
- 44:11Hamdullah Riva to Islam. And then he was in a
- 44:14conversation with Adam Saleh. Unfortunately a lot of Muslims
- 44:19watch this content lol. And.
- 44:22Yeah, but I. Was saying I said we don't want
- 44:25to judge people but you should not be watching this content.
- 44:28Sorry. I'm sorry, Adam, watch your
- 44:29entertainment. No.
- 44:31No, no. I don't watch it.
- 44:32Look up to him as a Muslim. Unfortunately bro, I'm I'm not
- 44:34going to lie, I do judge Muslims.
- 44:36But they were in the. Same way I judge myself if I
- 44:38came on the podcast now and I said some wack stuff, judge me.
- 44:42Please judge me because I may learn from that experience but I
- 44:46want to see this clip most about.
- 44:48About Karbala. Yeah, yeah, let's pull it up.
- 44:51I want to go to Karbala. You want to pull up?
- 44:53You want to come to Karbala? I'm down.
- 44:56Well, I always want to go to. I'm like why if I go my family
- 44:58with this one? Why?
- 45:00Well, you can go to Iran, bro. You can go to.
- 45:04It's worth that. It's worth the grave of Imam
- 45:05Hussein. This is the grand son of the
- 45:06Prophet. Yeah bro, just.
- 45:09Don't you don't have to, Don't worship the grave.
- 45:11The same thing when you go to Medina to have the prophets
- 45:12great peace upon him, but you don't worship it.
- 45:14So you can go and visit, but just don't pray to it.
- 45:17Yeah, you can go. Just don't do that.
- 45:21Just don't play on the rock. Yeah.
- 45:24No rock. No rock, no rock.
- 45:30I have Shia allegations and 1. Uma.
- 45:39You know all one, Uma. I've never seen a Sunny
- 45:40willingly go there. That 'd be a great video.
- 45:48I don't want to hear this guy man shut this thing off, but
- 45:51that guy man, allow it. Allow it, God.
- 45:54My God, we don't. Want to hear Shamsi.
- 45:56Sorry mate, you. Heard that?
- 45:57Yeah. Three.
- 45:57Yeah. Look, yeah, go on, go on, go.
- 46:00The first thing now Sneako, if you are watching, I will take
- 46:03you to Karbala after Maghrib will take you to Karbala.
- 46:07In fact, if you do end up in Karbala, just understand that it
- 46:10is an invitation inshallah by the very grandson of Rasulullah
- 46:15Salallahu Alayhiwali Wasalaman that has Imam Hussein, the son
- 46:18of Amir Al Mukhmanin Ali Abdullah Alayhi Salaam.
- 46:21So don't just you. Know.
- 46:23Speak with Adam Saleh Hamara. No, no, no.
- 46:25Come chat to Ahmed Gokul, for example, our ulama, our
- 46:30scholars, our teachers, where we can answer any questions that
- 46:34you may have, misconceptions that you may have.
- 46:36And of course, if you go Karbala, you're welcome.
- 46:40There, Yeah, of course, that's important. 20 million people
- 46:44have just come back from Karbala, 20 million people who
- 46:47have visited Karbala and the peak of war in the middle of
- 46:52August or July and beginning. 47°.
- 46:56Incredibly hot. I can't even imagine as hot in
- 46:58here. I can't imagine.
- 47:00But with that as well, on top of that, people prioritize this
- 47:05year. Why does it?
- 47:06Why do they go? What does it teach them about
- 47:08standing up against oppression today?
- 47:10You mentioned we're all one Omar.
- 47:12You want to see what Omar looks like come to Kabala.
- 47:14That's where you see what the profit envisage for an Omar.
- 47:18In reality, you see generosity beyond bounds beyond you see
- 47:23sacrifice beyond comparison and the comprehension.
- 47:26You see what people stole heed looks like when they're going
- 47:30towards the one who gave his life for a lot and saying I want
- 47:33to be like you, teach me how you gave towards God.
- 47:36I want to, I want to give towards God in the same way you
- 47:39gave towards God. Your companions gave towards
- 47:41God. This is what Islam is,
- 47:43submission at its finest. If submission is not what Imam
- 47:48Ali Salaam did, then what did he do?
- 47:50He's the pinnacle of submission, like his grandfather, you know
- 47:53what I mean? So these are the things which we
- 47:55learned. Also.
- 47:56Last thing I want to say is, yeah, bro, these guys, Adam
- 47:59Saleh, Slim, and I think, I think that's his name.
- 48:01The two guy and the other guy. Yeah.
- 48:03You guys are equally as welcome. I have a lot of words I want to
- 48:06say but just to keep it aside because I said Ammar did a
- 48:09lecture did you hear and other by and he was talking about this
- 48:13exact clip subhanallah and he addressed.
- 48:15The same clip. Same clip.
- 48:16He addressed it really well. So I don't want to go like,
- 48:18repeat anything. There's a lot of things we could
- 48:21say to these guys. But what I would say is you're
- 48:24welcome. You know, Karbala, I feel like
- 48:26it's my home. I'm not an Iraqi.
- 48:28Every Muslim. I'm not an Iraqi, but when I go
- 48:30there, I feel like I'm visiting my home, my hometown, my people.
- 48:34Because the level of, of, of hospitality, you get us off the
- 48:37charts. Home is where the.
- 48:39Shirk shirk if there is any Haram in Karbala, it's like any
- 48:44city in the world like Mecca and Medina as well where you do see
- 48:47Haram. They do see people.
- 48:49Sorry, there's no shark though. I'm saying if there's any Haram
- 48:52in Karbala, there's Haram. Anywhere in the world, there's
- 48:55Haram someone. There are people who are
- 48:57sinning, right? Yeah, sinning is common.
- 48:59Sinning is everywhere. We're not flaws.
- 49:00We go to these places to wipe our slate clean and ultimately
- 49:03to try and remove those flaws within.
- 49:05Finally, the last thing I say is I will give you one of these
- 49:09rocks, I promise. Well, I need a rock.
- 49:11There's a rocks everywhere where they're not rocks, bro, they're
- 49:13turba, they're turab. They're from the the dust of the
- 49:16earth. Of course, the Holy Prophet and
- 49:19Sahil Bukhari, it says that the Prophet used to pray.
- 49:21He said that Allah, Subhana Allah has made these lands for
- 49:24prostration and purification. So use it for these purposes.
- 49:28We see so many times that when he rose from Sir Jude, he had
- 49:31marks of earth on his forehead. We see that beyond that as well,
- 49:35the Holy Prophet and some of his companions even used to carry
- 49:39small pieces, pieces of clay with them on their travels.
- 49:42Why? For Salah, for prayer.
- 49:44So these are the things which we learned from.
- 49:46We're trying to be like the Sahaba.
- 49:47We're trying to be like the Ahmedabad.
- 49:48I am a salati or Salaam. And who else better to learn
- 49:51from than the grandson, the Holy Prophet?
- 49:52So the last thing I'll say is to use Nico to Adam Saleh and to
- 49:57all of the brothers in this video.
- 49:58If you do want to go to Karbala during Alabain or even outside
- 50:02of this period, let us know after Mahadev personally, we
- 50:05will take you will fund the whole trip.

- 50:17Arabic. You will speak to those who
- 50:19represent our mud hub and who work towards the unity of our
- 50:22ummah. You can get a first hand,
- 50:24unfiltered, realistic and undiluted opinion of what this
- 50:28school of thought is. So make sure you reach out to
- 50:30us. We will be there and then shot a
- 50:32lot. We will be back next week and
- 50:34shot a lot on the Aftermarket podcast.
- 50:36Make sure you're there. Salaam Alaikum.
