  Speaker: This is a space where we use storytelling to build genuine connection, right?

  Speaker: I'm sure you can think through your life of times where you've gone to a coffee with someone and you exchange stories and you're like, now we're best friends, or you followed someone online and you really liked the story that they shared and and you resonate with maybe some inspiration that they give or or like a likeness that you have.

  Speaker: And so therefore, like community just starts building, right?

  Speaker: Whether it be in person or online, storytelling is the foundation of community.

  Speaker: That is my personal philosophy and my work philosophy.

  Speaker: So I wanted to like dive into that and build a podcast around it because I'm obsessed with humans and I'm obsessed with stories.

  Speaker: I built my business and my freelance work and my self-employment through coffee meetings.

  Speaker: I love sitting across from someone, sipping a cup of joe, and hearing everything that is interesting about them because there's always something interesting about you, right?

  Speaker: Everybody has a story and I love sussing it out.

  Speaker: I spent over a decade in the video and documentary production industry, uh helping people shape their stories, uh, telling stories that I was inspired by.

  Speaker: And now I want to do that in a podcast modality.

  Speaker: There's gonna be a few formats this follows that I'll have solo episodes that talk about story and how to build your own story and how it can really lead to some genuine connection.
