- 4:33Speaker 3: and tickets much more efficient. Ruby Rose is accusing Katie
- 4:38Speaker 3: Perry of assault at a nightclub.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Twenty years ago.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Ruby is famous from the Netflix show Oranges the New Black.
- 4:45Speaker 3: If you don't know who she is, so she made
- 4:47Speaker 3: the allegation on social media, saying that this happened in
- 4:50Speaker 3: her early twenties. She said she has previously talked about
- 4:53Speaker 3: the incident publicly, but framed it as a funny drunk
- 4:56Speaker 3: story because she didn't know how to handle it. Now
- 4:58Speaker 3: she's coming back and saying she's finally ready to talk
- 5:01Speaker 3: about it. What she says happened, I cannot say on
- 5:06Speaker 3: the air, So if you want to look at Ruby
- 5:07Speaker 3: Rose's social media to read that, you can. Katie Perry's

- 5:40Speaker 3: So I want you to think of all of the
- 5:43Speaker 3: crazy exotic animals you could ever see. Because I sit
- 5:46Speaker 3: down in my pedicure chair and there's a lady sitting
- 5:50Speaker 3: next to me and she has one of those bubble backpacks,
- 5:53Speaker 3: you know, like the backpack where you see through it.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yes, I know exactly the animal an animal.
- 5:58Speaker 3: It's stuffed with like blankets and like little stuffy things
- 6:05Speaker 3: and there's a little bowl of food. And I see
- 6:07Speaker 3: this thing moving around and I'm looking at it, and
- 6:12Speaker 3: I was like, did this lady bring a baby kitten.
- 6:15Speaker 4: To the nail sawn?
- 6:16Speaker 3: It's just sitting in her lap right I'm getting my
- 6:19Speaker 3: toes rubbed. There's this little thing moving around and I
- 6:23Speaker 3: keep staring at it, and.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I'm like, is that a little gerbil?
- 6:26Speaker 2: Okay? Is it's a small animal, I'm assuming.
- 6:29Speaker 3: And then I'm looking at it and I have a picture.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna show it to you and see if you
- 6:35Speaker 3: can guess what.
- 6:36Speaker 4: It is before I say what it was?
- 6:38Speaker 3: Okay, and we're gonna post this photo at the Alabama Show.
- 6:42Speaker 1: What.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Oh, I know exactly what this is. It's a sloth. No,
- 6:47Speaker 2: it was as a monkey.
- 6:50Speaker 4: She had a baby monkey. That a monkey, literally, that

- 7:03Speaker 6: There was a baby monkey and it was moving around
- 7:05Speaker 6: in there.
- 7:05Speaker 4: It was and she like.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Moved the blanket and there were holes on the side
- 7:08Speaker 3: and it was sticking little arms. I was like it
- 7:10Speaker 3: was sticking its arms out trying to grab her. I went,
- 7:13Speaker 3: excuse me, ma'am, do you have a monkey at the
- 7:15Speaker 3: nail salon? She goes, yeah, this is my new little baby.
- 7:18Speaker 6: That is the Okay, this is probably the coolest story
- 7:20Speaker 6: of an animal you've brought to me so far.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Everybody was sitting there looking and talking. I was like,
- 7:25Speaker 4: this is the craziest thing.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Did you ask what kind of monkey it was?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:30Speaker 3: It was like the little monkey that was on Friends,
- 7:32Speaker 3: Marcel Ross's monkey. So I was like, uh, I want one.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Obviously now I want a pet monkey because.
- 7:39Speaker 4: I have all the animals. Yeah, I can't get one
- 7:42Speaker 4: right now because my dog. It would not last with
- 7:44Speaker 4: my dogs.

- 10:39Speaker 4: Girl, I love this. This is good. Thank you for
- 10:42Speaker 4: sharing her story. Do you take her with you in public?
- 10:44Speaker 4: Can you take her anywhere? This is cool?
- 10:47Speaker 7: I can, but people kind of like get a little
- 10:49Speaker 7: too excited and.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Warming and she gets over stimulated. Yeah, yeah, I believe it.
- 10:56Speaker 3: What key she She's not the nass the other When

- 11:16Speaker 3: This is the most expensive pet. I think it's cool though.
- 11:19Speaker 3: I'm fascinated. Thank you for sharing.
- 11:21Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 11:22Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 11:23Speaker 7: You'll have a great day.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It's what the hell headlines?
- 11:27Speaker 4: What the hell are you talking about?
- 11:29Speaker 3: On the Alabama Show, a deputy was using a dating
- 11:33Speaker 3: app during an armed swat standoff.
- 11:37Speaker 2: What did he get any matches?
- 11:41Speaker 4: I don't know. This happened in California.
- 11:44Speaker 3: A deputy was filmed using a dating app during an
- 11:47Speaker 3: active swat operation.
- 11:49Speaker 4: This happened when.
- 11:50Speaker 3: A suspect crashed near a school and then was trapped
- 11:53Speaker 3: in his car and the deputy's just sitting there scrolling
- 11:56Speaker 3: looking at tender instead of dealing with the standoff. Anyway,
- 12:02Speaker 3: now they're doing an investigation and the Sheriff's Office had
- 12:06Speaker 3: to issue a statement. They said, this behavior does not
- 12:08Speaker 3: reflect the standards or policies of our department. So anyway,
- 12:12Speaker 3: we don't know if we got a match, but we
- 12:14Speaker 3: also don't know if he has a job anymore either.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Why it's three things you need to know you with
- 12:21Speaker 1: the Elevema s.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Tasty Town just closed after four years in Birmingham. Tasty
- 12:26Speaker 3: Town was a Greek inspired restaurant right downtown Birmingham. So
- 12:30Speaker 3: we don't know why they closed, but they did post
- 12:32Speaker 3: a quick post on Instagram. It said we've enjoyed serving
- 12:35Speaker 3: him at Tasty Town. Our final day of service was Sunday,
- 12:39Speaker 3: April twelfth.
- 12:39Speaker 4: We didn't know.
- 12:40Speaker 3: We didn't even get a heads up to go eat
- 12:42Speaker 3: before they closed.
- 12:43Speaker 4: I'm so sad.
- 12:45Speaker 3: You can now reserve an email for your kid before
- 12:47Speaker 3: they're even born if you are.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Planning on having kids.
- 12:49Speaker 3: And want to give them an email, and it stays
- 12:51Speaker 3: sealed with no inbox and no activity for up to
- 12:54Speaker 3: fifteen years until they're a teenager and ready to use it.
- 12:58Speaker 4: It cost one dollar. Just want a one dollar donation.
- 13:01Speaker 3: It's a company called Proton based out of Switzerland, and
- 13:05Speaker 3: you go reserve the email now and then you'll get
- 13:07Speaker 3: a vouchuer for your kids to activate it later. If
- 13:09Speaker 3: you lose the vulture, it's fine, they'll give you a
- 13:11Speaker 3: new one. Nicole Kidman wants to train to be a
- 13:15Speaker 3: death dolau.
- 13:16Speaker 2: What is that?
- 13:17Speaker 3: It's somebody who sits with you while you die. So,
- 13:20Speaker 3: she said she was at the University of San Francisco
- 13:23Speaker 3: speaking and she made the announcement that she wanted to
- 13:26Speaker 3: do this after watching her mother pass away in May
- 13:29Speaker 3: of twenty twenty four. She said there was only so
- 13:31Speaker 3: much she could do for a mom, between having her
- 13:34Speaker 3: kids and everything, and she felt like.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Her mother was lonely in her final days.
- 13:38Speaker 3: And so a death doula sits with somebody while they're
- 13:41Speaker 3: passing away and they provide emotional, spiritual, and psychological like
- 13:45Speaker 3: support for.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Them while they're passing away.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Could you imagine if you're on your deathbed, it's your
- 13:51Speaker 3: final days. What if you are the biggest fan of
- 13:54Speaker 3: Nicole Kidman. What if Pretty Little Liars is your favorite
- 13:57Speaker 3: show and all of a sudden, Nicole Kidman and sitting
- 14:00Speaker 3: it here, I'd be like, is this real?
- 14:02Speaker 4: Or am I hallucinating?
- 14:04Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Show.
- 14:05Speaker 2: If Nicole Kidman came and said, at the foot of
- 14:08Speaker 2: my bed and it's.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Okay, I would be like, of course, the best thing
- 14:10Speaker 3: ever is happening to me as I'm dying.
- 14:13Speaker 4: What?
- 14:13Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 14:14Speaker 3: That's three things you need to know. More at The
- 14:16Speaker 3: Alabama Show dot com.
- 14:19Speaker 1: The Alabama Show on demand free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Do you think you could save a bunch of people's
- 14:24Speaker 3: lives if a tornado hit?
- 14:27Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:28Speaker 4: That's a do you even know what to do? I
- 14:31Speaker 4: don't know.
- 14:32Speaker 2: That depends on the scenario, but I think I could.
- 14:34Speaker 3: So here's your good news story coming straight out of Applebee's.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Aubrey and a Applebee's in Michigan saved everybody from a tornado.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Everybody was eating in the restaurant and it looked normal outside,
- 14:48Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden, it got dark and
- 14:49Speaker 3: everybody's phone started going off and it was a tornado alert.
- 14:53Speaker 3: So she gets all the customers from their tables, pulls
- 14:56Speaker 3: them into a kitchen where there's no windows, and then
- 14:59Speaker 3: she looked out and there was a guy outside walking
- 15:02Speaker 3: his dog that didn't come in, and she runs outside
- 15:06Speaker 3: and grabs him and goes come get in the kitchen
- 15:08Speaker 3: and she gets him in. Literally seconds later, a tornado hits.
- 15:13Speaker 3: All the windows shatter and the Applebee's, but everybody was
- 15:17Speaker 3: safe because she got them into the prep kitchen where
- 15:20Speaker 3: there were no windows.
- 15:21Speaker 6: This is why Applebe's and their employees are the best.
- 15:24Speaker 4: This girl, no, it's her. It's Aubrey. It's Aubrey. She
- 15:28Speaker 4: did it.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And you know what the coolest part is, she has
- 15:30Speaker 3: had a lifelong fear of tornadoes. No, but when it
- 15:35Speaker 3: actually hit, she knew exactly what to do and it
- 15:37Speaker 3: was like there was a switch in her brain that
- 15:39Speaker 3: switched and she just saved all these people.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I love Aubrey. That is awesome.
- 15:43Speaker 4: She is what's awesome.
- 15:44Speaker 3: If you have good news in your life that you're celebrating,
- 15:47Speaker 3: share with us.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Call the show. Eight three thirty five O one Bama
- 15:50Speaker 4: is the number the.
