- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, folks.
- 0:00Speaker 2: It's another Radio Archive Hour from the Hall of Fame
- 0:03Speaker 2: Phil Hendry Show and philhendryshow.com. This is a Radio Archive
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hour from our syndication days. This is from February of 2004.
- 0:10Speaker 2: And this guy's name was Brassville in a way, but
- 0:12Speaker 2: kind of an activist in the Latino community. But he
- 0:17Speaker 2: was working at a restaurant. And, you know, Brass is
- 0:20Speaker 2: kind of climbing the ladder of success. He was working
- 0:22Speaker 2: at a restaurant where he saw people wasting a lot
- 0:25Speaker 2: of food. And he had absolutely no problem working. telling
- 0:29Speaker 2: them how messed up that was and how messed up
- 0:32Speaker 2: they were and what wasteful fat asses they were. I
- 0:36Speaker 2: don't know. I just, you know, I love Brass. So
- 0:39Speaker 2: here he is from February 2004 as he tries to
- 0:42Speaker 2: make people aware of the fact that they're wasting food
- 0:45Speaker 2: and it would be better for them to eat the
- 0:47Speaker 2: food and then go out into the parking lot and
- 0:48Speaker 2: throw it up if they really wanted to waste it.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Here's Brass.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Brass, I understand that you had filed a lawsuit charging
- 0:55Speaker 4: racial discrimination against the Surrey Steakhouse chain. They terminated your employment,
- 1:01Speaker 4: you claim, because of your Hispanic background. You claim they
- 1:05Speaker 4: fired you for harassing, excuse me, they claim they fired
- 1:09Speaker 4: you for harassing customers.
- 1:10Speaker 1: That's correct, yeah.
- 1:12Speaker 3: And what do you claim?
- 1:13Speaker 1: Okay, it's not harassing. I come from a culture that
- 1:17Speaker 1: is poor. I am Hispanic. Here in America, people waste food.
- 1:22Speaker 1: People throw away food. And when I bring food to
- 1:26Speaker 1: a table and I come back to bus dishes, because
- 1:29Speaker 1: we do both jobs at Surrey, a lot of times
- 1:32Speaker 1: I see there's food left over, okay? And people went
- 1:35Speaker 1: back to the buffet for more and didn't finish it.
- 1:38Speaker 1: And what I did is respectfully ask people to finish
- 1:41Speaker 1: their food. Because I come over, and in a case,
- 1:45Speaker 1: it's one lady. There were, like, two meatballs eaten out. Like,
- 1:49Speaker 1: she had some pasta left over and some bread, and
- 1:52Speaker 1: I try it. And I said to her, try not
- 1:54Speaker 1: to live up to my expectations, which is that Americans,
- 1:57Speaker 1: you know, over-order and shove the food in and leave
- 2:02Speaker 1: half their order uneaten and children are starving in Mexico
- 2:04Speaker 1: and Latin America.
- 2:05Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Well, the company claims when you return to the table,
- 2:09Speaker 4: you saw food left on.
- 2:10Speaker 3: The dishes, you wouldn't remove the dishes.
- 2:12Speaker 1: That is correct, until they finish the food.
- 2:15Speaker 3: And what if they refuse to finish their food?
- 2:18Speaker 1: I would say I'm going to.
- 2:19Speaker 4: I mean, what is this? You're a waiter and a busboy.
- 2:23Speaker 4: As you say, you do both jobs.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Why are you demanding that people finish their food?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Well, you know, I want to explain that, okay? All right.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I would say I'm going to come back to the people.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I'd say I'm going to come back, and if it
- 2:37Speaker 1: isn't finished, then I would sit down with them and
- 2:39Speaker 1: explain what it's like to come from hardship and how
- 2:42Speaker 1: spoiled many people are living in America. I'm not saying
- 2:45Speaker 1: everybody is, but everyone I see who go into the
- 2:49Speaker 1: steakhouse is spoiled, and nine times out of ten, the
- 2:52Speaker 1: people will thank me And what wound up.
- 2:54Speaker 2: They thank you?
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yes, sir, yeah. No, I mean, nine times out of ten,
- 2:58Speaker 1: they wind up shaking my hand, they finish the food,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and a couple of times you could see them being...
- 3:02Speaker 1: I mean, they would finish their food. You could see
- 3:05Speaker 1: sometimes them getting sick out in the parking lot, but
- 3:07Speaker 1: they would finish their food. Because I taught them not
- 3:11Speaker 1: to act like pigs and disrespect the third world, which
- 3:14Speaker 1: I saw a lot of people doing here.
- 3:18Speaker 2: All right, so you talk these people into finishing the
- 3:20Speaker 2: food on their table, and then you would bust their...
- 3:22Speaker 2: If they didn't, however, you would sit down at their table.
- 3:26Speaker 3: And tell them about what?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Well, I mean.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I mean, about your Hispanic heritage?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Well, I would tell them about how the people of
- 3:34Speaker 1: Mexico are poor and they don't have anything to eat,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and how if you're Mexican, you're hungry. But in America,
- 3:41Speaker 1: everybody has a lot to eat, and yet everybody leaves
- 3:44Speaker 1: their food. They go for seconds at the buffet line.
- 3:47Speaker 1: They'll go and get extra dessert. They'll go and get extra... Meat, meat,
- 3:54Speaker 1: meat servings and everything.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Why are you calling this suit racial discrimination?
- 3:59Speaker 2: You got fired.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Your company says because you harass people about finishing their food.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Okay, well, I mean, this is going to be the
- 4:05Speaker 1: sixth time I've answered this question today.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Well, you haven't been on my show, sir, so I apologize.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not calling you stupid, Mr. Henry, but
- 4:13Speaker 1: this is going to be like the sixth time. I know.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You've been doing a lot of interviews. Why are they
- 4:17Speaker 2: calling it? Why are you calling it racial discrimination?
- 4:20Speaker 1: I'm suing for racial discrimination because the Surrey Steakhouse chain
- 4:23Speaker 1: fired me because I was educating their customers to the
- 4:27Speaker 1: reality of my culture and how Mexicans are hungry and
- 4:30Speaker 1: don't have enough to eat. And meanwhile, Americans don't even
- 4:33Speaker 1: finish soup. They'll go back for two, three meatballs. They'll
- 4:36Speaker 1: go back for two, three desserts. They'll leave chicken pieces.
- 4:40Speaker 1: They don't eat all the meatball.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Now, you said most people don't mind, so why were
- 4:44Speaker 3: you fired?
- 4:46Speaker 1: That was Mrs. Little.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Okay, this is this Jamie Little, who is a customer,
- 4:49Speaker 3: who actually did complain, right?
- 4:51Speaker 1: She's like, you know, I mean, other people accepted what
- 4:55Speaker 1: I had to say, and quietly, while I educate them,
- 4:59Speaker 1: this so-called woman complained to management.
- 5:01Speaker 2: His name is Brass Villanueva.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Brass was a former waiter at the Surrey Steakhouse who
- 5:08Speaker 4: was fired for harassing the customers, apparently. And the harassment
- 5:11Speaker 4: of the customers had more to do with you not
- 5:14Speaker 4: busing food off of their table when they were done
- 5:16Speaker 4: with it, or demanding that they finish it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: That is correct, yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Or else you were going to sit down at their
- 5:23Speaker 2: table and educate them about the realities of being Mexican,
- 5:26Speaker 2: which may be well and good, and maybe we do
- 5:27Speaker 2: need education. But this lady, this Jamie Little, tell me
- 5:30Speaker 2: about it. You said that she's, and I.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Take it you don't like her?
- 5:34Speaker 1: No, sir, I don't. I said I wouldn't let her
- 5:37Speaker 1: leave until I told her about my people.
- 5:38Speaker 2: All right, she alleges that you called her a Yankee sow?
- 5:42Speaker 1: Well... That is correct, but only because.
- 5:44Speaker 2: You did call her that?
- 5:46Speaker 1: Well, there is background. She wouldn't listen to me. She
- 5:49Speaker 1: left two whole portions of sauce per steak. She had
- 5:52Speaker 1: asked for extra sour cream that she never touched. And
- 5:55Speaker 1: her two sons were brats also, I want to mention that,
- 5:58Speaker 1: that spoiled yogurt everywhere. And so when she got up
- 6:02Speaker 1: to leave, I said to her something in Spanish, which
- 6:05Speaker 1: actually was like having a nice day.
- 6:07Speaker 4: All right, well, the phrase she heard was, Usted es.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Un perro gordo.
- 6:12Speaker 1: That is correct. And then she comes back.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Well, what does that mean?
- 6:15Speaker 1: That means have a nice day.
- 6:18Speaker 2: So she comes back yelling at you.
- 6:19Speaker 1: She came back yelling at me, and that's when I
- 6:21Speaker 1: said that I used the Spanish. I said, which is
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yankee Sal, and that's only after she refused to finish
- 6:28Speaker 1: her plate. When you come in, I have a rule,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and maybe I should have explained my rule. I don't
- 6:34Speaker 1: want to take an order from a table. If you
- 6:38Speaker 1: are going to order food.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And then you're not going to finish it and leave
- 6:44Speaker 1: it laying there while you pick your teeth and act like,
- 6:47Speaker 1: you know, everything's okay.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Why are you taking that personally?
- 6:52Speaker 3: If I paid for the food.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you paid for the food, so you have to
- 6:55Speaker 1: eat the food.
- 6:56Speaker 4: No, but in America, as long as you're characterizing this
- 6:59Speaker 4: in nationalistic terms.
- 7:01Speaker 1: It's more of a cultural thing, Mr.
- 7:02Speaker 6: Henry.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It's not national. I was born in America. Okay, all right, a.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Cultural thing or whatever. I can order up the food
- 7:08Speaker 2: and I can leave it sitting there on the table
- 7:10Speaker 2: if I want to. Okay, but most people, when I
- 7:13Speaker 2: tell them, okay, like, I'll give you an example. All right,
- 7:17Speaker 2: let's say, let me give you the example.
- 7:19Speaker 1: All right.
- 7:20Speaker 2: All right. I go to the Surrey Steakhouse, and I order.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Let's say steak, baked potato, some asparagus, and, you know,
- 7:29Speaker 4: for dessert, maybe some ice cream and cake and a
- 7:31Speaker 4: cup of coffee. And you come back to the table,
- 7:34Speaker 4: and I've got most of the asparagus sitting there and
- 7:35Speaker 4: the baked potato.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Okay, well, in that case, you know, I'm going to
- 7:40Speaker 1: look at that, and I'm going to have to make
- 7:41Speaker 1: an assessment. And I'm going to look at that, and
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'm going to go, okay, are you going to finish that?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I mean, that's the first thing I'll ask you is
- 7:49Speaker 1: I'll point at it and say, are you intending on
- 7:52Speaker 1: finishing that? To which I guess you would say no, right?
- 7:54Speaker 2: That's right.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I'd say, okay, I'm going to come back in five minutes.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I'd like to see, you know, I want you to
- 8:01Speaker 1: finish that because the Mexicans don't have any food, you know.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Because the Mexicans don't have any food. You tell me
- 8:08Speaker 4: I want you to finish that because my people don't
- 8:10Speaker 4: have any food.
- 8:10Speaker 1: That's correct, right. And if I got back.
- 8:13Speaker 2: All right, so you get back and I still haven't
- 8:14Speaker 2: finished it.
- 8:15Speaker 1: That's when I'll sit down and generally I'll sit in
- 8:18Speaker 1: a part of the booth that blocks you from exiting. Okay.
- 8:21Speaker 2: All right, see, right there, that's illegal.
- 8:24Speaker 1: No, that's not really illegal because once.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yes, it is.
- 8:27Speaker 3: You can say anything you want. I guess you can.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Come back to the table and try to tell me
- 8:32Speaker 2: about your culture, but if you're going to sit there
- 8:33Speaker 2: in the booth and block me from getting out of
- 8:35Speaker 2: the booth... No, because.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Well, yes, it is. Well, could I just explain? Go ahead.
- 8:40Speaker 1: If I say about Mexico to you, you'll be interested
- 8:45Speaker 1: and you'll want to hear it. Nobody has ever wanted
- 8:47Speaker 1: to get out of the booth when I tell them that...
- 8:50Speaker 1: And I say it with great respect, but they're acting
- 8:53Speaker 1: like pigs. And they are disgusting to see leaving all
- 8:57Speaker 1: their food when Mexicans are hungry.
- 9:01Speaker 2: But let's just say, like, in the case of this
- 9:04Speaker 2: Jamie Miller, she wanted out.
- 9:07Speaker 1: She was just a pig. I mean, I'm the one
- 9:10Speaker 1: who gives you the check. Okay? So you're going to
- 9:13Speaker 1: hear me out.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Oh, so she was a pig because she didn't want
- 9:15Speaker 3: to hear you out.
- 9:16Speaker 1: First of all.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I mean... Do you.
- 9:20Speaker 2: See what I'm saying here, Brad? Do you get at
- 9:22Speaker 2: the point? The woman, even if she didn't want to
- 9:24Speaker 2: hear you, is still going to have the right to
- 9:27Speaker 2: get out of that booth, isn't she?
- 9:30Speaker 1: No, and I'll tell you why.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Why?
- 9:31Speaker 1: Because she's ordered all that food and she's going to
- 9:35Speaker 1: leave it there and she's going to want to, you know,
- 9:38Speaker 1: what a pig, man. And I told her she was a.
- 9:40Speaker 3: You called her a Yankee Sal.
- 9:41Speaker 1: That's right.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Brad's going to wave us with this. He is a
- 9:45Speaker 4: former food server at the Surrey Steakhouse chain. I don't
- 9:47Speaker 4: want to mention the particular restaurant where he was fired
- 9:51Speaker 4: for harassing customers. He demanded that they finish all the food.
- 9:55Speaker 2: That they ordered. If they didn't, he would tell them
- 9:57Speaker 2: about how hungry people are in the third world and
- 9:59Speaker 2: he wouldn't let them out of the booth and you claim.
- 10:01Speaker 1: People liked it most people would shake my hand and
- 10:04Speaker 1: thank me yeah because they're just big you know i
- 10:07Speaker 1: mean they come in like pigs but they go out.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Educated here is uh jackie on the phil henry show
- 10:12Speaker 4: go ahead jackie.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Uh brad um yes ma'am first of all you You
- 10:17Speaker 5: have no right suing for discrimination when you're throwing around
- 10:20Speaker 5: racial slurs like that.
- 10:22Speaker 1: What did I say?
- 10:23Speaker 5: You're calling people Yankee South.
- 10:26Speaker 1: That's not race. That's nationality.
- 10:29Speaker 5: Okay, regardless, that's discrimination.
- 10:31Speaker 1: No, it's not. No, it's not.
- 10:33Speaker 5: You need to look up the law.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I know the law.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Okay, secondly, you have no right setting rules for restaurants
- 10:39Speaker 5: unless it's your own restaurant and people know what they're
- 10:41Speaker 5: going into.
- 10:42Speaker 1: The luxury of.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Living in America... is being able to work for your
- 10:46Speaker 5: buck and order whatever you want to. If you want
- 10:48Speaker 5: to put it in the middle of a park and
- 10:49Speaker 5: feed it to the ducks, go for it.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but I know more about the law than you do,
- 10:53Speaker 1: and I, you, you don't know.
- 10:55Speaker 6: About the law.
- 10:55Speaker 5: That has nothing to do with the point you're trying
- 10:57Speaker 5: to make.
- 10:58Speaker 1: What?
- 10:58Speaker 5: You're trying to make a point that people need to
- 11:01Speaker 5: not order more than they can eat.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:04Speaker 5: That has nothing to do with the law. The law
- 11:05Speaker 5: doesn't say don't order more food than you can eat.
- 11:08Speaker 5: That's what America is all about. Welcome to America. Work
- 11:11Speaker 5: for your money. Spend it any way you want.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Not wasting food because there are a lot of people
- 11:15Speaker 1: who are very hungry. I took two pieces of Salisbury
- 11:17Speaker 1: steak she left on her plate and also the sour
- 11:20Speaker 1: cream on the side, which she asked for extra sour cream.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Why would she do that? Why would she do that?
- 11:25Speaker 5: Maybe it sounded good and she didn't like the taste.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Bottom line is you did a good deed, and it's
- 11:30Speaker 5: not up to you to decide what people should and
- 11:32Speaker 5: shouldn't eat and how much they should and shouldn't eat.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Can I say something, Mr.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Henry?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 11:38Speaker 1: That is so typical of a lot of women. I mean,
- 11:40Speaker 1: they say that, you know, it sounded good, but I
- 11:42Speaker 1: don't like the taste. And they say that about a
- 11:43Speaker 1: lot of things. That's the luxury we have.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Hold on for a minute, kid. I don't want you getting.
- 11:48Speaker 1: No, I don't mean to be inappropriate, but you hear
- 11:51Speaker 1: that so often, you know?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you know something? I know what you're getting at,
- 11:55Speaker 2: and you're talking to a lady, okay?
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Excuse me.
- 12:00Speaker 5: That's the luxury we have of living in America. We
- 12:02Speaker 5: can order whatever we want. And not have to finish it.
- 12:05Speaker 5: I mean, that's why we have trash.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Right, but do you know how many Mexican people would
- 12:09Speaker 1: have liked that sour cream?
- 12:10Speaker 5: And I'm sure Ethiopian kids would like it too, but
- 12:13Speaker 5: they're not here. That's not the fact that we're trying
- 12:15Speaker 5: to make. The point is you can't work somewhere under
- 12:18Speaker 5: somebody else and harass customers about them not eating enough.
- 12:20Speaker 5: They ate their fill.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Can I ask you something? Absolutely. Have you ever said
- 12:25Speaker 1: that before? You know, it sounded good, but I didn't
- 12:26Speaker 1: like the taste? Absolutely.
- 12:29Speaker 5: I think I did it today, as a matter of fact.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Was your husband there?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Okay, see, this is what I mean. You're being a
- 12:35Speaker 3: smart-ass kid.
- 12:36Speaker 1: No, but I break the ice with people with humor.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's not funny.
- 12:40Speaker 5: That's not funny at all. I mean, okay, so that's
- 12:42Speaker 5: not what you believe in. Well, you're not the one
- 12:44Speaker 5: ordering it.
- 12:46Speaker 1: If I go to Burger.
- 12:49Speaker 5: King and I order three hamburgers and throw them into
- 12:51Speaker 5: the park for ducks to eat, that's my prerogative.
- 12:53Speaker 2: It's my money.
- 12:54Speaker 5: I'm spending it the way I want to. And I
- 12:56Speaker 5: work hard to earn it.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Are you the kind of woman that will tease a
- 12:59Speaker 1: man by saying it sounds good, but then you don't
- 13:01Speaker 1: like the taste?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Will you stop?
- 13:03Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Will you stop? So what? I mean, you're making an
- 13:07Speaker 5: invalid point.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Look, lady, you would rather feed a bird than a Mexican?
- 13:11Speaker 2: Well, all right.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Look, Jackie, very good points. I do have to take
- 13:13Speaker 3: a break, and I appreciate your call. 1-800-449-8686. What are
- 13:17Speaker 3: you trying to do?
- 13:19Speaker 1: I just said that.
- 13:20Speaker 2: You know, don't get down that road with me.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Mr. Henry, I.
- 13:25Speaker 2: You're asking her husband, you know, hey, it sounded good,
- 13:27Speaker 2: but I don't like the taste.
- 13:29Speaker 1: What? Yeah.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Either get this kid to be serious, or I'm going
- 13:34Speaker 3: to just blow off the interview.
- 13:35Speaker 4: We're talking with Brasville Nueva, who claims to have been
- 13:37Speaker 4: fired from the Surrey Steakhouse chain because... of racial discrimination.
- 13:42Speaker 4: He saw a lot of Americans wasting food. He demanded
- 13:45Speaker 4: that they finish their food by the time he got
- 13:46Speaker 4: back to the table or he was going to sit
- 13:48Speaker 4: there and tell them about how hungry Mexicans are. The
- 13:52Speaker 4: lady says one line, it sounded good, but I decided
- 13:55Speaker 4: I didn't like the taste, and the kid takes off
- 13:56Speaker 4: on that.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show. The Phil Henry Show.
- 13:59Speaker 1: 1-800-449-8686.
- 14:00Speaker 2: The Phil Henry Show is back.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I'm with Brass Villanueva.
- 14:05Speaker 2: He's a young man.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Are you working now, Brass?
- 14:07Speaker 1: No, sir. Right now, just helping out my father. He
- 14:11Speaker 1: has an auto detailing business, and I'm also in school
- 14:17Speaker 1: right now. But the thing I wanted to say was that...
- 14:21Speaker 1: Right now, my attorney is a man by the name
- 14:25Speaker 1: of Stephen Scheinbaum. I took my case to Gloria Allred,
- 14:29Speaker 1: who is a prominent Los Angeles attorney, but she wouldn't
- 14:31Speaker 1: take the case. So I took it to Stephen Scheinbaum.
- 14:34Speaker 1: He said that maybe there are seven figures in it
- 14:36Speaker 1: because on a thing like Surrey Steakhouse, they don't want
- 14:40Speaker 1: bad publicity about being a racist. And my attorney says
- 14:43Speaker 1: there's probably seven figures in it right now. Well, when
- 14:47Speaker 1: you start talking about that kid, it sounds like you're
- 14:49Speaker 1: in it for the money. Well, also, I really don't
- 14:52Speaker 1: want you to call me kid no more, okay? Because
- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm a man, and.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Well, if you're a man, then you can stop with
- 15:00Speaker 4: the juvenile lines like, you know, it sounded good, but
- 15:03Speaker 4: I didn't like the taste.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Well, she walked right into it. She walked right into it.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Okay, that's fine, man. We're talking about a legal question here,
- 15:10Speaker 2: not some cuties you want to get off.
- 15:12Speaker 1: 1-800-449-8686.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Is it all right for an employee of a steakhouse
- 15:19Speaker 4: to tell people, finish your food, or, you know, I'm
- 15:22Speaker 4: not going to bust the plates off the table?
- 15:24Speaker 2: Let's go over here to Melanie. Hi, Melanie, you're on
- 15:27Speaker 2: the Phil Henry Show.
- 15:29Speaker 7: Yes, I just wanted to say off the bat that
- 15:31Speaker 7: I really think that he's being an hypocrite because he's
- 15:35Speaker 7: there just saying, you know, trying to educate people how
- 15:39Speaker 7: to act properly when he called this lady, who had
- 15:42Speaker 7: a super gordo. And if I recall my Spanish properly,
- 15:46Speaker 7: that means you're a fat dog.
- 15:49Speaker 8: That doesn't mean.
- 15:49Speaker 1: That's not my understanding. My understanding is it means have
- 15:53Speaker 1: a nice day.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Wait a minute.
- 15:54Speaker 3: What did you call her?
- 15:55Speaker 1: A fat dog. Are you from Mexico?
- 16:03Speaker 6: I've been there.
- 16:04Speaker 8: Oh, yeah. I mean, I've been speaking.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Spanish for 20 years. I bet you ordered margaritas down
- 16:09Speaker 1: there real good, too, but.
- 16:11Speaker 7: No, I don't do margaritas. My son's father is Mexican.
- 16:15Speaker 7: I'm sorry, and, you know, he can translate pretty well.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Okay, so you were married to a Mexican? Then you
- 16:20Speaker 1: know how hungry they can be. Okay?
- 16:23Speaker 7: It has nothing to do with that. We're not in Mexico.
- 16:26Speaker 7: He didn't throw food in the garbage in Mexico. But
- 16:29Speaker 7: I think you're a really big hypocrite. If you want
- 16:31Speaker 7: to call somebody a fat dog, you just do it
- 16:33Speaker 7: right to their face.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Why did you tell me that meant have a nice
- 16:36Speaker 2: day when it means I think you're a fat dog?
- 16:39Speaker 1: I was not aware of that, and Spanish is not
- 16:41Speaker 1: my first language. I was born in America, and all
- 16:44Speaker 1: I'm saying is, I mean, how many times, well, the
- 16:47Speaker 1: lady's laughing, but I bet you she's gone down to Cabo,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you know, and lifted her head over, or lifted her
- 16:52Speaker 1: dress over her head at Sammy Hagar's bar, and everything
- 16:56Speaker 1: like that, right? And what I'm trying to say is.
- 16:58Speaker 2: I don't think you should be doing.
- 16:59Speaker 3: How can you say that?
- 17:00Speaker 2: You know, what is it with you?
- 17:01Speaker 8: How can you even say that?
- 17:02Speaker 1: Well, I mean, you go down there, have a few
- 17:03Speaker 1: margaritas and everything, and then leave food on the table...
- 17:07Speaker 1: And I told the lady to eat it, you know,
- 17:09Speaker 1: and most ladies will when you tell them to. But
- 17:11Speaker 1: this lady told me no, and it made me angry. Okay,
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I apologize, but I respect it. My culture,
- 17:18Speaker 1: Mexicans are hungry, and when we see fat, you know,
- 17:21Speaker 1: gringo-style people... But he says.
- 17:23Speaker 7: He's been born in America, too.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Who, me?
- 17:26Speaker 7: Well, I guess you haven't lived.
- 17:27Speaker 6: It for real.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Well, all I'm telling you is that I told most people,
- 17:33Speaker 1: finish your dinner, and they'll do it. And this woman...
- 17:36Speaker 1: I said you can get sick out in the parking
- 17:37Speaker 1: lot if you want to. I've seen people finish their
- 17:40Speaker 1: meal because they feel guilty about Mexicans being hungry. Then
- 17:43Speaker 1: they go out to the parking lot. They get sick
- 17:46Speaker 1: right out in the gutter.
- 17:47Speaker 7: You know what? What is going to be the difference?
- 17:52Speaker 7: If she leaves the food or not on her table,
- 17:54Speaker 7: the Mexican in Mexico is still going to be hungry.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Ma'am, are you the type of woman who has three
- 18:00Speaker 1: or four bananas, strawberries, margaritas, and you leave a whole
- 18:03Speaker 1: plate of shrimp scampi, right? So a Mexican... You.
- 18:06Speaker 7: Have no idea about what you're talking.
- 18:08Speaker 1: The Mexicans will look to the chain-link fence and see
- 18:11Speaker 1: you with your shrimp scampi and go, oh, God, I
- 18:13Speaker 1: would love to have it. And meanwhile, you're Canada.
- 18:15Speaker 7: Whether you're finishing my plate or not here in Canada,
- 18:18Speaker 7: how is that going to make them less hungry?
- 18:21Speaker 1: Canada?
- 18:21Speaker 5: How is it.
- 18:22Speaker 6: Going to fix it?
- 18:22Speaker 1: Canada? What are you talking about? I thought you said
- 18:25Speaker 1: you was American. Canada? Oh, my God.
- 18:29Speaker 7: I never said I was American.
- 18:31Speaker 1: How can you say you speak Spanish when you... You
- 18:34Speaker 1: don't even know what usted es. I just looked it up.
- 18:36Speaker 7: I was married to a Spanish guy. I didn't say
- 18:39Speaker 7: I was Spanish.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Did he talk Mexican?
- 18:43Speaker 7: He was born there, for God's sake.
- 18:45Speaker 8: How come you married him?
- 18:47Speaker 1: Why did you marry him?
- 18:48Speaker 2: Ain't there no Canadians?
- 18:50Speaker 7: Explain to me how somebody either in America, I have
- 18:54Speaker 7: a lot of family in America, I'm in Canada personally.
- 18:57Speaker 7: But if I finish my food or not, how is
- 19:00Speaker 7: the guy in Mexico going to be left hungry?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Melanie, Mexicans are salivating over your shrimp scampi while you're
- 19:06Speaker 1: squatting over a Corona bottle. All right. Thank you, Melanie.
- 19:13Speaker 3: The Phil Henry Show is back.
- 19:17Speaker 5: 1-800-449-8686.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Coming up, special guest Doug Danger on our show tonight
- 19:22Speaker 4: with the 100 most influential country artists of all time. Doug,
- 19:25Speaker 4: the gay man and gay journalist, has a column coming
- 19:28Speaker 4: out in the Orange County Courier very soon. We're speaking
- 19:31Speaker 4: with young Brass Villanueva who has filed a lawsuit charging
- 19:35Speaker 4: racial discrimination against a former employer, Because he was trying
- 19:38Speaker 4: to get people to finish all their food, and if
- 19:40Speaker 4: they didn't, he would remind them that there are starving Mexicans.
- 19:44Speaker 2: By the way, I heard, Mr.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Villanueva, that you got a hold of some pictures of children.
- 19:50Speaker 4: suffering from malnutrition and placed them on the tables.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Of these people? No.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Mr. Villanueva, if you want to quote the story, I'd
- 19:56Speaker 1: appreciate it if you quote it right.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Well, then tell me what the story is.
- 19:59Speaker 1: The story is that I have pictures from UNICEF in
- 20:05Speaker 1: New York showing children in various stages of malnutrition Okay,
- 20:10Speaker 1: and I would take, I'd say, okay, are you finishing
- 20:12Speaker 1: that pie? And they'd say, no, I'm not finished. I'd say,
- 20:15Speaker 1: I'd like you to finish it. Well, that's none of
- 20:17Speaker 1: your business. Okay, take a look at that. And I'd
- 20:19Speaker 1: put the picture right on the pie.
- 20:21Speaker 2: And I would say, well, I hear some of these
- 20:22Speaker 2: pictures were very disturbing.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Well, that's too bad, you know. I mean, what do
- 20:28Speaker 1: you want me to do about it? I didn't, these
- 20:30Speaker 1: are starving, you know, people. Look, kid, I, you know,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I don't like you calling me kid either.
- 20:37Speaker 2: All right, I'm sorry. So I'll say, Mr. Villanueva, you've
- 20:43Speaker 2: got good intentions, okay?
- 20:46Speaker 4: But the fact is you can't make people do that.
- 20:50Speaker 2: You can't make them eat.
- 20:52Speaker 4: I mean, what motivates you to care so much about
- 20:55Speaker 4: the world's hungry?
- 20:56Speaker 3: I know that you're a Latin origin.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Well, I can tell you I had a girlfriend years
- 21:01Speaker 1: ago who I very much cared for. She was an
- 21:05Speaker 1: American girl, you know, she was a European girl. And
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'm a Mexican. And I wanted to so very much
- 21:11Speaker 1: go out with her. You know, and then I came
- 21:14Speaker 1: over to her house one day to meet her family,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and they disgusted me. And so, with the way they ate.
- 21:24Speaker 2: They disgusted you with the way they ate?
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yeah, they just, they discussed, they ate with their mouth,
- 21:29Speaker 1: they talked with their mouths full, which I can't stand
- 21:32Speaker 1: that ever, ever, ever, never. And, you know, like, her
- 21:37Speaker 1: kid sister had a banana in her mouth, and she'd go, ha-ha,
- 21:40Speaker 1: with all the mushed-up banana in there. And from that
- 21:43Speaker 1: point on, I said, these fat, fat animals, oh, man,
- 21:49Speaker 1: I hate, you know, I was never going to let
- 21:52Speaker 1: them do that to me again.
- 21:54Speaker 4: So a girl of American descent, or European descent, her
- 22:00Speaker 4: family didn't like their table manners, and so now.
- 22:03Speaker 2: You make people finish their food at the restaurant, or
- 22:05Speaker 2: you put a picture of a malnourished kid on top
- 22:08Speaker 2: of their dessert.
- 22:09Speaker 1: That's correct, yes.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Ebony, hello, you're on the Phil Henry Show.
- 22:12Speaker 6: Hi, I want to talk to the gentleman. Sir, I
- 22:16Speaker 6: wanted to tell you it was not in your job
- 22:18Speaker 6: description to inform those people of malnourished children. What was
- 22:23Speaker 6: in your job description was to serve food. And that's
- 22:26Speaker 6: all you were paid and hired to do.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Well, why are they leaving the food, though? That's none
- 22:30Speaker 1: of your concern.
- 22:31Speaker 6: That's not what you were hired to do. You were
- 22:34Speaker 6: hired to serve people.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Well, I do.
- 22:36Speaker 6: Not to inform them of starving Mexicans and starving children.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Well, I do.
- 22:40Speaker 6: And if you're going to live in America, you better
- 22:42Speaker 6: get accustomed to America's norms.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Well, I come over to the table, and they've got
- 22:48Speaker 1: like four whole pieces of chicken left. Like half a meatloaf.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Didn't they pay for that chicken? Didn't they pay for
- 22:55Speaker 6: whatever they left?
- 22:56Speaker 1: Yeah, well, they're supposed to. Then why are they leaving it?
- 22:59Speaker 6: Okay, the intelligent thing to do would have been to
- 23:02Speaker 6: ask them, do you want a doggy bag? There's different
- 23:04Speaker 6: ways to go about your problem that you're trying to solve.
- 23:06Speaker 6: You're not going to solve it by talking to people,
- 23:09Speaker 6: showing them starving kids, pictures and all of that at
- 23:12Speaker 6: their table while they're eating dinner. What you want to
- 23:14Speaker 6: do is get yourself fired like you did. The intelligent
- 23:17Speaker 6: way to go about that is start a foundation. Use
- 23:20Speaker 6: that energy that you.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Have into counseling these people. I'm more direct. My actions
- 23:25Speaker 1: are more direct.
- 23:26Speaker 6: And your actions are ignorant, which is what got you fired.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Look, do you eat all your Salisbury steak?
- 23:32Speaker 6: Me is not the question.
- 23:34Speaker 1: The question is why you lost your job.
- 23:35Speaker 6: Your lawsuit has no merit. Your lawsuit has no merit,
- 23:40Speaker 6: and you're not going to win. You had no business.
- 23:42Speaker 6: It was not your place.
- 23:43Speaker 1: America hates Mexicans. and so they want to leave food
- 23:47Speaker 1: laying around on the table.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I think you have.
- 23:49Speaker 6: An issue with the Americans, and I don't really think
- 23:52Speaker 6: it has anything to do with food.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Well, no, I don't have any problem.
- 23:55Speaker 6: Because you're not defending why your actions, the intelligent thing
- 24:00Speaker 6: to do.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Would have been to go ahead and.
- 24:02Speaker 6: Start a foundation for starving people.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Let me ask you something here, Brass. What about the
- 24:07Speaker 3: doggy bag?
- 24:08Speaker 1: Because then they take it home and they give it
- 24:09Speaker 1: to a dog. Jesus, how stupid is that? I mean,
- 24:13Speaker 1: are you people kidding with that? What about a doggy bag?
- 24:16Speaker 1: Is he going to take it home and give it
- 24:17Speaker 1: to a dog?
- 24:18Speaker 6: You people.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:21Speaker 6: Who's to say you're going to give it to a dog?
- 24:23Speaker 5: They might not even have a dog.
- 24:25Speaker 1: They might eat it later. Can I ask you a question?
- 24:27Speaker 1: Are you American?
- 24:29Speaker 6: Yes, I am.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Okay. What do you leave on the table at a restaurant?
- 24:33Speaker 1: Yes or no?
- 24:34Speaker 3: What do you mean, what do you leave on a table,
- 24:36Speaker 3: yes or no?
- 24:37Speaker 6: What do I leave on the table?
- 24:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yes or no?
- 24:39Speaker 6: I don't leave anything. I take my leftover food home
- 24:42Speaker 6: for later.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Do you give it to a dog, or do you.
- 24:44Speaker 6: No, I don't give it to a dog. I eat
- 24:45Speaker 6: it because I pay for it.
- 24:46Speaker 1: The American is like a big, fat St. Bernard, and
- 24:49Speaker 1: the Mexican's a little skinny chihuahua, you know? And we
- 24:52Speaker 1: just want some of that stuff. God!
- 24:55Speaker 6: Well, what you do is start a foundation over there
- 24:57Speaker 6: in Mexico and help people.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 24:59Speaker 1: A foundation's boring.
- 25:03Speaker 6: Are you serious?
- 25:05Speaker 3: She said a foundation is boring.
- 25:07Speaker 8: It is.
- 25:08Speaker 1: You can't get anything done without foundation. Then you have
- 25:11Speaker 1: a whole bunch of crooked people administering the funds. The
- 25:13Speaker 1: next thing you know, everybody's ripping everybody off.
- 25:16Speaker 6: Well, that's why we have you with your notorious works
- 25:19Speaker 6: and your notorious beliefs and your good deeds, and you
- 25:22Speaker 6: want to help these starving people. That's why you're over
- 25:24Speaker 6: the foundation and you're over the money.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Well, I'm not about the money, but I walk by
- 25:28Speaker 1: your table and I see a half-eaten pie. And you're
- 25:31Speaker 1: going to get fired. I'm going to get mad.
- 25:33Speaker 3: That's exactly why you got fired.
- 25:35Speaker 2: All right, Ebony, thank you for your call. 1-800-449-8686. Moving
- 25:39Speaker 2: on now to Carlos. Go ahead, Carlos.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Hey, guys, you have no right to be telling people
- 25:44Speaker 1: what to eat and when to eat if they pay
- 25:46Speaker 1: for it. Why?
- 25:47Speaker 2: You know what?
- 25:48Speaker 7: And second of all, why are you insulting people, calling
- 25:53Speaker 7: people fat dogs?
- 25:55Speaker 1: No, no.
- 25:56Speaker 7: Yeah, because I speak Spanish. I speak Spanish, and you.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Cannot fool me. You can fool Mr.
- 26:00Speaker 6: Phil Hendricks, but you cannot fool me because I speak Spanish.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I didn't say nothing about a fat dog. And second
- 26:06Speaker 1: of all, there is no such language as Mexican. It's Spanish.
- 26:09Speaker 1: You said that you talk Mexican.
- 26:11Speaker 5: Nobody talks Mexican.
- 26:12Speaker 7: People speak Spanish.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Well, where are you from? Where am I from? I'm
- 26:17Speaker 1: from Honduras. Oh, man, you ain't even Mexican.
- 26:21Speaker 8: What's the difference?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You're trying to tell me?
- 26:25Speaker 1: You know, you don't even know how to speak Spanish.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Do you finish your baked potato? I do, and I
- 26:31Speaker 1: don't care whether I do or not. I pay for it.
- 26:33Speaker 7: I do whatever I want with it.
- 26:34Speaker 1: But here's the thing. No, no. I mean, what are
- 26:36Speaker 1: you doing about it? I mean, are you sending money
- 26:38Speaker 1: to starving little Mexicans?
- 26:40Speaker 4: No, you're not.
- 26:41Speaker 1: You're probably smoking it in dope. Oh, man, that is harsh.
- 26:45Speaker 7: Yeah, well, it is the truth.
- 26:47Speaker 1: It is the truth. It is the truth. And you
- 26:49Speaker 1: know what? And you know what I was there too?
- 26:51Speaker 7: You're lucky you didn't say that to a man.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Because if you would have said that to me to
- 26:55Speaker 1: eat my food, I'd make you eat it. You know?
- 26:57Speaker 1: Because you were just taking advantage of the woman. No.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You're the biggest bigger that I know.
- 27:04Speaker 6: Hey, you know, you're a bigot, dude.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You know, you have no right to be... You don't
- 27:07Speaker 1: have a right to leave a baked potato laying there
- 27:10Speaker 1: and not even eat it. If I pay for it,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I got every right to do what I want with it. Okay,
- 27:15Speaker 1: can I ask you a question? So for kicks, you
- 27:17Speaker 1: buy a baked potato and you just leave it there
- 27:19Speaker 1: and look at it? Hey, you know what? If I
- 27:23Speaker 1: pay for it, I can.
- 27:24Speaker 6: That's why this country is America.
- 27:25Speaker 1: You know, you can do whatever you want. What is wrong?
- 27:28Speaker 1: I mean, as long as you're not breaking the law.
- 27:29Speaker 4: Well, let me ask this question here of you, Brass.
- 27:31Speaker 4: You said that even if you've got to go out
- 27:33Speaker 4: in the parking lot and get sick.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I have seen people feel so terrible about starving
- 27:38Speaker 1: Mexicans and stuff. They'll go out in the parking lot,
- 27:40Speaker 1: throw everything up, and come back in and get a
- 27:43Speaker 1: baked potato and a side of clams.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Good God.
- 27:49Speaker 1: What?
- 27:51Speaker 2: What do you mean they go out, throw everything up,
- 27:52Speaker 2: and come in for a baked potato and a side
- 27:54Speaker 2: of clams?
- 27:58Speaker 3: What a freak.
- 27:59Speaker 1: You know something? I don't like to be laughed at. Okay,
- 28:01Speaker 1: that's number one. And number two, this guy, Carlos, hey,
- 28:06Speaker 1: I bet you order up baked potatoes and just laugh
- 28:09Speaker 1: at them. Just look at them and laugh at them. No,
- 28:11Speaker 1: you know what? I eat them. You know what? I
- 28:12Speaker 1: eat them. You know what? I eat whatever, you know?
- 28:15Speaker 1: I don't discriminate food at all. But if I'm not hungry,
- 28:17Speaker 1: if I go to a restaurant and I pay for food.
- 28:19Speaker 6: That I don't want to eat, I don't eat it.
- 28:21Speaker 1: And there's no way that you can come and tell
- 28:23Speaker 1: me that I have to eat my food that I
- 28:24Speaker 1: pay for it. Well, how are you going to get
- 28:25Speaker 1: out of the restaurant? How am I going to get
- 28:27Speaker 1: out of the restaurant? Yes, sir.
- 28:31Speaker 6: I mean, if I pay for it, I just get
- 28:32Speaker 6: out of the restaurant?
- 28:32Speaker 2: Well, watch the, okay, the dude dropped the F-bomb.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I wear pants and shirts too big just to show
- 28:38Speaker 1: how poor and skinny I am. But I'm ripped. Okay,
- 28:42Speaker 1: just because I wear pants big and shirt big to
- 28:45Speaker 1: make it look like, you know, I'm skinny and starving
- 28:48Speaker 1: and have malnutrition and everything, that doesn't mean, man, I
- 28:51Speaker 1: can't bring it. Okay? So come at me, you know?
- 28:56Speaker 3: Look, dude, this is not about fighting.
- 28:58Speaker 2: This is about you caring about starving people and making
- 29:02Speaker 2: people eat food that they don't want to eat. What
- 29:04Speaker 2: do you mean he orders a baked potato just to
- 29:06Speaker 2: laugh at it?
- 29:07Speaker 1: A lot of people order food and let it sit
- 29:09Speaker 1: in front of them and go, ha, ha, ha. Look,
- 29:11Speaker 1: I got enough money to do it. Me not as
- 29:13Speaker 1: a skinny child down in Mexico who would love to
- 29:17Speaker 1: have the baked potato and to eat anything, man. Snails, escargot.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Little kids, they would love to have crab cakes.
- 29:30Speaker 2: All right, 1-800-449-8686. Amy, go ahead.
- 29:33Speaker 3: You're on the Phil Henry Show.
- 29:35Speaker 8: Yes, I was calling to talk to the gentleman that
- 29:38Speaker 8: thinks that he has.
- 29:40Speaker 1: a point. Yes, ma'am.
- 29:41Speaker 8: I think that if you want to be an educator,
- 29:44Speaker 8: that is one thing. But I feel like you are
- 29:47Speaker 8: harassing your customers. I'm a waitress, and I believe that
- 29:51Speaker 8: you go in and you do your job and you
- 29:53Speaker 8: ask them what they want to drink and what they
- 29:55Speaker 8: want to eat. And then you get the hell out
- 29:57Speaker 8: of there with your cash, and that's how you pay
- 29:59Speaker 8: your bills. If you're in America, you know that. But
- 30:03Speaker 8: you have no right to preach to anybody, especially your customers.
- 30:08Speaker 8: I don't see how you have made a living so
- 30:11Speaker 8: far treating your customers like that.
- 30:13Speaker 1: You're the perfect person to talk to. You're a wake person, right? Yes.
- 30:17Speaker 1: We have the power to tell people, finish the clam
- 30:20Speaker 1: dip or whatever.
- 30:21Speaker 8: But you know what? That is not what we do.
- 30:25Speaker 8: We go in, we serve their food, we are nice,
- 30:28Speaker 8: we put on a big fat smile, whether we like
- 30:30Speaker 8: the customers or not, and we give them what they
- 30:33Speaker 8: ask for, what they're paying for, and that's how we
- 30:36Speaker 8: take our money home. If you have a different point,
- 30:39Speaker 8: if you want to be a teacher, if you want
- 30:42Speaker 8: to have a cause, that is great, but you need
- 30:45Speaker 8: to do it in a different way. Locking your customers in,
- 30:48Speaker 8: that is harassment. You push your customers. You say you
- 30:52Speaker 8: don't let them leave.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Ridiculous. That is ridiculous. I think it's within our– I
- 30:57Speaker 1: saw a woman order ice cream one time just to
- 30:59Speaker 1: look at it melt.
- 31:00Speaker 8: You're talking about dessert.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Just to look at it melt.
- 31:01Speaker 8: You're saying you say you want to help.
- 31:04Speaker 1: No.
- 31:04Speaker 8: You say you want to help people. If you want
- 31:08Speaker 8: to help, then you are in the wrong profession.
- 31:10Speaker 5: I go to work.
- 31:12Speaker 8: It's a brainless job. Being a waiter is a brainless job.
- 31:16Speaker 8: You go there, you get your.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Tip, you go home. No, no, no, no. If you
- 31:19Speaker 1: wrap the Salisbury steak up in tinfoil or just in
- 31:22Speaker 1: a napkin and shove it into the lady's purse when
- 31:24Speaker 1: she's not looking, it'll get greedy. It'll be all over everything,
- 31:28Speaker 1: and she'll go, God, why did I eat it?
- 31:31Speaker 8: I don't understand why you're making that your issue.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yes, you did.
- 31:34Speaker 2: All right, we had to dump that. That's two Fs.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I thought I heard her say the F word, you know,
- 31:41Speaker 1: but I wasn't sure. Maybe I could be a talk
- 31:44Speaker 1: show host someday, too.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that's... Look, let me ask you something here, Brass,
- 31:49Speaker 2: before we let you go and move on.
- 31:52Speaker 3: It is interesting, your passion.
- 31:57Speaker 4: And I was thinking maybe it was based on an
- 31:59Speaker 4: altruism for people. But instead, it is the past affection
- 32:07Speaker 4: you had for.
- 32:08Speaker 3: A young lady, correct?
- 32:12Speaker 1: What? I mean, I don't understand what you said.
- 32:14Speaker 2: In other words, this was about a girl that you
- 32:17Speaker 2: used to love.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I saw her eat, like, banana cake,
- 32:21Speaker 1: and I just, Jesus. I followed a little pig child
- 32:24Speaker 1: into a bathroom and made him put a wasted baked
- 32:26Speaker 1: potato in the rear of his pants to teach him. So, uh.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Okay, Michael Jackson. And what's a pig child?
- 32:34Speaker 1: One of these American children who order up the yogurt
- 32:36Speaker 1: and go, and play with it. I want to hurt them.
- 32:45Speaker 1: All right.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I've had enough of that.
- 32:48Speaker 2: In any event, I thought the guy really loved people
- 32:50Speaker 2: and was really, you know, out to make a difference
- 32:51Speaker 2: in the world. He's just got a problem with people
- 32:54Speaker 2: who eat with their mouth. I don't know what his
- 32:56Speaker 2: story is. Get on the phone with him, Janice, and
- 32:58Speaker 2: see if we can refer him out to a suicide hotline.
