  OK, the first story that I have for you guys today, I'm sure a
• 2:26
  lot of you guys have seen this, but looks maxing influencer
• 2:29
  clavicular. He seemingly overdosed on stream
• 2:33
  yesterday. He is OK.
• 2:35
  He's out of the hospital and he's actually already live
• 2:37
  streamed since. But he did appear to overdose on
• 2:40
  stream. And this has sparked a lot of
• 2:42
  discourse about how the media is covering him and what he
• 2:45
  represents to the creator economy.
• 2:47
  So Tuesday night, Clavicular was live streaming on Kik.
• 2:50
  He was out at a mall, and then he went to a restaurant in
• 2:53
  Miami. And this live stream drew a lot
• 2:55
  of concern from followers and fans who are watching because I
• 2:58
  guess he seemed really out of it throughout the footage.
• 3:01
  And then the live stream abruptly stopped and people were
• 3:05
  very concerned. And then because he was out in
• 3:07
  public when, and then because he was out in public, then footage
• 3:11
  of him getting carried from the venue that he was at into a car,
• 3:16
  he was carried by several people started going viral all over X.
• 3:20
  And then you can see like an ambulance pulled up as well.
• 3:22
  So this situation comes just days after his 60 Minutes
• 3:25
  Australia interview went so viral for how awkward and
• 3:29
  essentially like bad it made him look.
• 3:32
  If you guys haven't seen clips or seen the interview in
• 3:35
  general, 60 Minutes Australia they seemingly sent their best
• 3:38
  looking male reporter to do the interview.
• 3:41
  Clavicular was so uncomfortable in the interview he kept getting
• 3:44
  tripped up in his answers and he even walked off the set mid
• 3:48
  interview. This interview along with all of
• 3:50
  the other ones that he's done recently, he did that one with
• 3:53
  Channel 5. Like all of the interviews he
• 3:55
  does just turn into memes making fun of how Clavicular is getting
• 3:59
  mogged by these journalists and how he can't handle coming up
• 4:03
  against like, real men and all of this kind of stuff.
• 4:06
  So culture reporter Crystal Andrews, she just published this
• 4:09
  amazing piece this morning in Z feed in response to what's been
• 4:12
  happening the past few days where she argued that Clavicular
• 4:15
  is a modern day lol cow. And I thought this was so
• 4:18
  interesting I needed to talk about it.
• 4:20
  So I'll put a link down below, of course to her piece.

  But for anyone who doesn't know what that means, a lol cow is
• 4:25
  someone who gets online trolls or provoked into extreme or
• 4:28
  bizarre behavior for entertainment.
• 4:30
  So as Crystal writes quote, essentially a lol cow is an
• 4:33
  online freak show. They are provoked into reactions
• 4:36
  that will entertain, fascinate, or titillate the audience.
• 4:38
  The well-being of the subject is of no concern.
• 4:41
  That's like a throwback term for the millennials that listen.
• 4:45
  So what? This is basically what I was
• 4:47
  trying to get at when we covered Clavicular a couple of weeks
• 4:50
  ago. I feel like I could not
• 4:51
  articulate it nearly as well as Crystal did in her piece.
• 4:54
  But I think one of the biggest problems with how the mainstream
• 4:56
  media interacts with Clavicular is that, yes, like it's totally
• 5:01
  valid to challenge him and the content that he's putting out.
• 5:04
  Like, it's super harmful, but the execution of how they go
• 5:08
  about it tells a different story.
• 5:09
  It tells us the story that they're not actually doing this
• 5:12
  necessarily, possibly for the right reasons.
• 5:15
  Like the mainstream media sits up there and they ask him all
• 5:18
  these like rage baby questions to get some viral reaction and
• 5:21
  basically turn him into the lol cow.
• 5:24
  And I do want to make it clear in this case, two things can be
• 5:27
  true, I believe. I think it can be true that he
• 5:29
  is destructive and harmful and he should be criticized.
• 5:32
  And I also think it's true that the media is exploiting him for
• 5:35
  clicks. And I think that's because they
• 5:37
  don't fully understand what they are doing when they're
• 5:41
  interacting with him. So Crystal writes, quote, this
• 5:43
  is not a young man who is mentally well, the broadcast
• 5:46
  journalist prodding him on camera about what appears to be
• 5:48
  significant body dysmorphia know this because it's part of his
• 5:51
  story. This is a young man who was at
• 5:53
  14 injecting himself with testosterone ordered online.
• 5:57
  He is smoking meth to stay slim. He is a young man hitting
• 6:00
  himself in the face with a hammer.
• 6:01
  He has injected his 17 year old girlfriend with fat dissolving
• 6:04
  peptides. His steroid use has, According
• 6:07
  to him already made him infertile.

  The more people watching, the more extreme things he will do.

  So are these important political interviews or an episode of
• 6:15
  Doctor Phil? For me, this is the tell.

  The clips chosen by media outlets are rarely about the
• 6:20
  political shift we're told are the reason for these interviews.
• 6:23
  Instead, they document a swift kick in the hopes were
• 6:26
  entertained by the milk that leaks out.

  So I wanted to know if this was a hot take.

  I'm really not like on clavicular side of the Internet
• 6:34
  so I don't really know how the average person that's not a fan
• 6:37
  of him like necessarily feels. And I did some deep diving into
• 6:41
  Reddit and this is not a hot take.
• 6:43
  There are countless Reddit threads filled with comments
• 6:46
  that express this that it seems like most people.
• 6:49
  Most people seem to understand that he is really harmful, he's
• 6:53
  asshole, but they also feel incredibly bad for him.

  And then the argument that he will just keep pushing the

  boundaries and doing increasingly more extreme things
• 7:03
  for views and attention because that's basically all he cares
• 7:06
  about. That was validated by Clavicular
• 7:09
  himself when he got out of the hospital this morning.

  And he immediately went on live stream and he addressed what had
• 7:15
  happened. He said I ain't going to be
• 7:17
  doing any more substances for a little while, hopefully forever.

  But that means I can't IRL stream anymore.

  So that's the thing, I really can't IRL stream because as you

  guys know, I'm quite rude without that shit.

  So I think I have to figure something else out.

  Fuck, I have to figure out a new method, either practice mogging

  sober or just find a new form of content.

  So him saying I just have to find a new form of content if I

  It seems like possibly he's like coming to terms with the fact

  that of course like you can't be a looks maxing influencer

  health implications that he has because of his drug use due to

  looks maxing and all of this stuff, like it is so

  self-destructive. And I thought him just kind of

  speaking on stream like that, saying fuck, I have to figure

  something else out. Like I just have to find a new

  form of content. I don't know.

  That was very telling. Again, this doesn't minimize his

  harm, but I think it's an interesting perspective for us

  to keep. We see this across generations.

  We saw it in the 2000s with the pop stars and all of the young

  actresses. We saw it in the 20 tens with,

  like Justin Bieber. And I'm not comparing Clavicular

  to people that are, you know, just like trying to do their

  jobs. You know, like when Justin

  Bieber was 16 and interviewers were like coming for him and

  he's like, I'm literally just a singer.

  Like, leave me alone. Like, I am not comparing

  clavicular to that. OK.

  But I, I just think in general, there's like such a weird thing

  that can happen within these interviews and in mainstream

  media where instead of actually like trying to interrogate what

  they should be interrogating, there's like this power dynamic

  where the interviewers are trying to like poke and poke and

  poke at these very young, vulnerable people.

  And I don't think it ever ends well.

  Brianna, Chicken Fry has entered the Alex Cooper versus Alex

  Earle feud. Also, I did want to mention I

  before I recorded, but I just totally forgot to include it

  last, not last week on Tuesday between Alex Earl and Al Cooper.

  So Alex Earl actually, I mean, this is very minor, but she

  commented on Alex Cooper's TikTok when Alex Cooper said

  like, drop the receipts, like share what happened between us

  because I have nothing to hide. And then Alex Earl commented

  saying, OK, I'm on it. Brianna's chicken Fry is now

  feuding with Alex Cooper over this whole Alex Earl drama.

  OK, so this is how it started. Barstool Sports founder Dave

  Portnoy. He posted on Instagram stories

  commenting about the feud. So he shared a screenshot of Adm

  from Brianna that said she as an Alex Earl is going to destroy

  her as in Alex Cooper. So basically Dave put Brianna on

  blast and showed the world that Brianna is like team Alex Earl.

  So this set Alex Cooper off. She's taken to TikTok and also

  Instagram stories to directly call Brianna out.

  And she shared screenshots of what she assumed to be friendly

  DMS between the two of them. So let me read you them.

  She had to post them I believe on Instagram stories because her

  TikTok was deleted. This girl on girl shit needs to

  update. So Taylor Frankie Paul will not

  be facing charges over alleged domestic violence incident with

  Dakota Mortensen A couple days before Taylor Frankie Paul's

  Bachelorette season was supposed to air footage was released or

  leaked to the public to TMZ from a 2023 domestic violence

  incident involving Taylor star of secret lives of Mormon wives

  mom talk star and her ex partner Dakota.

  I'm sure we all remember but the secret lives stopped filming and

  The Bachelorette did not air. OK so we have an update on this

  situation. So the Salt Lake City 20

  District Attorney's Office issued a press release saying

  that due to the high profile nature of the case, multiple
• 16:33
  attorneys reviewed the case and Taylor will not be facing
• 16:36
  charges. This is directly from PEOPLE,

  quote, according to letters sent to both departments dated April
• 16:41
  14th, which were obtained by PEOPLE, the District Attorney's
• 16:44
  office said that several of the alleged incidents investigated
• 16:47
  by police took place more than two years ago, meaning they fall
• 16:51
  outside the statue of limitations.

  The letters added that other alleged incidents, quote, do not
• 16:56
  rise to the level of criminal offenses or lack sufficient
• 16:59
  evidence to support filing criminal charges.

  Prosecutors went on to state that some of the incidents lack,

  quote, specificity as to when and what actually occurred or
• 17:08
  corroboration. The letter concluded, quote, we

  will be happy to revisit this matter if additional information

  is developed which supports the prosecution of the suspect.

  And then Taylor spoke out when this was all released.

  She posted on Instagram stories, cried when I got the call.
