SPEAKER_01: There's a dragon outside in the garden.
• 0:01
SPEAKER_01: I call him the storm dragon.
• 0:02
SPEAKER_01: He's a yeah dark azure dragon with beautiful golden eyes.
• 0:05
SPEAKER_01: And he just sits there.
• 0:06
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 0:07
SPEAKER_01: He just sits and watches.
• 0:08
SPEAKER_01: And I call him the storm dragon because he feels attributed to storms, but he feels like a kind of guardian in a way.
• 0:15
SPEAKER_01: And it's just times where I know there's the there's the debate of you should you be open all the time spiritually versus you should shut down when you it's necessary.
• 0:23
SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty much open all the time open most of the time and I protect myself as much as I can.
• 1:20
SPEAKER_02: Just before we get into today's episode, I think it's really important that I address something that is on a lot of people's minds at the moment.
• 1:30
  SPEAKER_02: It's hot.
• 1:32
  SPEAKER_02: It's really, really hot.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_02: So for my listeners who are not in the UK, or perhaps Europe even, uh the UK is experiencing a heat wave right now.
• 1:44
SPEAKER_02: So if you're listening to this episode on the day it's been released, which is the 25th of June, or if you're listening to it a couple of days after, we have been stuck in a heat wave, and it's not something that we British people are very used to.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_02: We are not used to going from one extreme to the other, which is what our country usually does.
• 2:05
SPEAKER_02: We will find that it's suddenly 17, 17 degrees one day, and then we'll be hit by a heat wave, and then it is 32 degrees a couple of days later, and we have no time to acclimatize our country, our inf infrastructure is not built for this kind of heat.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_02: Um, the majority of modern builds in houses these days, or even actually Victorian builds, it was all made to retain heat because you know the UK is usually a cooler country.
• 2:35
SPEAKER_02: Um but yeah, we we are we are suffering as a nation and we are sleep deprived, and we can't do anything, and it's miserable.
• 2:48
SPEAKER_02: So I just wanted to say to any of my listeners in the UK that are struggling with the heat.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_02: I am with you, with you in solidarity, we will get through this, drink plenty of water, keep your curtains closed, and um, yeah, fingers crossed, thunderstorms will start to appear and the rain will come back.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_02: It's very difficult being a spooky girl struggling in the summer heat, especially when it's a heat wave like this.
• 3:19
SPEAKER_02: Um and for my listeners who are not in the UK, um, if you could just send us your thoughts, prayers, well wishes, do a rain dance for us, that would be amazing.
• 3:33
SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, I will stop rambling on about the weather, which is a very British thing to do, but I will stop now.
• 3:39
SPEAKER_02: I just wanted to sort of you know put it out there that we are a struggling nation at the moment.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_02: Anyway, let's look forward to today's episode.
• 3:51
SPEAKER_02: And today's episode is all about embracing magic, dragons, and spiritual healing with Scottish witch and founder of Dragon Goddess Healings, Emma Jane Saunders.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_02: She sits with me and she shares her incredible journey into the world of witchcraft, spirituality, and dragon magic.
• 4:12
SPEAKER_02: Discover her unique approach to healing, her collection of sacred tools, and how she integrates the ancient and intuitive ways of magic into modern life.
• 4:27
SPEAKER_02: Welcome to the Cornish Witch podcast.
• 4:30
SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much for coming on to the show today.
• 4:32
SPEAKER_02: Well, thank you for having me.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_02: I'm looking forward to it, Freya.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_02: Subscribe to our listeners that um it's very hot today, isn't it?
• 4:38
SPEAKER_01: Yes, we're having a we're having our second heat week in the in the last what two weeks.
• 4:43
  SPEAKER_01: I think so.
• 4:44
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_02: Um, but we're sat in your lovely temple room and I'm just surrounded by it's like a witchy, it's like a witchy Aladdin's cave.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_02: I can't stop looking at all of the things.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_02: And as witches, we like things, don't we?
• 4:58
SPEAKER_01: And a lot of my a lot of my apart from the therapy bed, which I of course I bought brand new, most of the other items have either been sourced and as gifts from friends, they've been sourced in charity, they've been given by family, they're handmade or secondhand in some way, shape, or form, um, and and everything.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_01: Of course, I've got I do have new some newer tools and new things that I do bought, but a good chunk of it has been basically what magic has blessed me with.
• 5:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the only way I can describe it.
• 5:24
  SPEAKER_02: That's so it's so lovely.
• 5:26
SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I've just got there's just so much to take in.
• 5:29
SPEAKER_02: So if my eyes are constantly wandering around, it's not because I'm not listening to you, you're just like, oh if you want to ask for any of them.
• 5:34
SPEAKER_02: If it's relevant to the podcast, you're more than welcome to ask them at all.
• 5:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, I think definitely your big crescent moon staff.
• 5:42
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, she looks incredible.
• 5:44
SPEAKER_01: This was my first one.
• 5:45
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, really?
• 5:46
SPEAKER_01: If you don't mind me, I'll just quickly go.
• 5:48
  SPEAKER_01: Sure, okay.
• 5:50
SPEAKER_01: So this is my official staff here.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_01: Oh my goddess, that is impressive.
• 5:53
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_01: So that one has I've not thrown it out because I've delegated it as sort of like the guardian staff of the temple.
• 6:01
SPEAKER_01: So it's in the corner, being protective, a guiding, a guiding focal point, if you like.
• 6:06
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_01: Whereas this one um I've made to be a lot more a lot more durable, and it's um this is what comes with me when I go and do um like rituals outside.
• 6:17
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 6:17
SPEAKER_01: You know, like in traditional witchcraft, the stang is often used as the focal point besides the cauldron.
• 6:22
  SPEAKER_01: Did you make this?
• 6:22
  SPEAKER_01: I made this.
• 6:23
SPEAKER_01: That it is you are very talented.
• 6:26
  SPEAKER_01: That's incredible.
• 6:28
SPEAKER_01: Oh not not really, not really.
• 6:29
  SPEAKER_01: I craft because I enjoy it.
• 6:31
SPEAKER_01: Stop it! Bath because I enjoy it, I enjoy it, but it was the thing of I wanted to make a staff, and a staff with the moon crescent, but um obviously I can't make it wood or glass or crystal because fragile, durability, that sort of thing.
• 6:47
SPEAKER_01: So I decided to go with resin craft and I found a couple of modes that molds that worked with it.
• 6:53
SPEAKER_01: I just got some dowel, um, I got a um little um uh spike, you know, that they gave small boxing sticks and a few charms, a bit of ribbon, wood glue, and then nailed it down and everything, and then uh this is what, you know, this is what's become become my staff basically.
• 7:08
SPEAKER_02: So tell me all about um dragon goddess healing and uh what it is that you do.
• 7:15
SPEAKER_02: We're in we're imbued, but I can tell that you're not a Cornish witch.
• 7:19
  SPEAKER_02: No, I'm not.
• 7:20
  SPEAKER_02: No, I'm not.
• 7:20
SPEAKER_01: No, I'm not originally um Scottish witch, originally from Edinburgh, basically.
• 7:24
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 7:25
SPEAKER_01: And here's a little fun fact about me.
• 7:27
SPEAKER_01: Um, my original name before we got married was Glasgow.
• 7:30
  SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
• 7:31
SPEAKER_01: So um I was a Ouija from Eddie.
• 7:34
SPEAKER_01: And only Scottish people will understand what why that's significant.
• 7:39
SPEAKER_01: Well, basically, Edinburgh's and Ouija's don't look at one another apparently, you know.
• 7:43
  SPEAKER_01: There's a bit of rivalry.
• 7:45
SPEAKER_01: There's a little bit of rivalry and all that, and not only that, I heard I've heard all the jokes you can make about my name and that.
• 7:50
SPEAKER_01: Thankfully, when I got married, it changed to Saunders, so I'm happy I'm happier with that one to be honest.
• 7:54
SPEAKER_02: I lived in Edinburgh for a little bit when the fringe festival was on one year, and I just remember there was like a quite a rivalry, a rivalry, and you could get the train from Edinburgh to Glasgow, and people were like, Don't go to Glasgow any day off.
• 8:06
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Why not?
• 8:07
  SPEAKER_02: And they're like, just don't, just don't go.
• 8:09
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, But why though?
• 8:10
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 8:11
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it's it's yeah, it's it's it's you know, and then you've got the highlands versus the lowlands, all that sort of thing.
• 8:17
SPEAKER_01: But anyway, yeah, no, um, so dragon goddess healings is my spiritual business, and basically it's where I offer my white witchcraft magic um to help empower the client to transform their life for the better through the use of healing and guidance through crystals, tarot cards, dragons, spirit, magic, all that good stuff basically.
• 8:40
SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, so I offer my offer services of crystal healing, yeah, tarot card readings, um, crystal ball readings, white witchcraft, and I also do medical workshops.
• 8:51
SPEAKER_01: I've got um I've got two written up, but I'm in the process of of writing others up as well.
• 8:56
SPEAKER_01: And I do actually have a new medical service coming out soon.
• 8:59
SPEAKER_01: I think if if if it's okay, I'll mention it.
• 9:02
  SPEAKER_01: Sure, yeah.
• 9:03
SPEAKER_01: I think I'm I'm really considering offering psychic mediumship as its own service now.
• 9:08
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 9:09
SPEAKER_01: Because I combine my psychic and mediumship abilities with my other readings and healings to give as much of a full experience as possible for the client.
• 9:19
SPEAKER_01: Um, but a lot of people have been saying that I should can I should be considering to do it as an actual service.
• 9:25
SPEAKER_01: So I've been thinking about the nuances and all the details, and I think I'm at a point where I'm confident enough to decide like what my price range is going to be and the timing and everything and how I'm going to conduct the session.
• 9:37
SPEAKER_01: And I've had feedback from several people, um, along with client testimonials about it with some tech some friends who were wanting to be testers for it.
• 9:46
SPEAKER_01: So everything seems to be moving smoothly there.
• 9:48
SPEAKER_01: So I think I'm confident enough to announce it for the first time on this podcast.
• 9:52
SPEAKER_01: I'm going to announce it on my social medias at some point very soon as well.
• 9:56
SPEAKER_02: How do you channel your psychic medium shape?
• 9:59
SPEAKER_02: So does it are you claire audience, clair cognizant?
• 10:02
SPEAKER_01: Um I'm mostly uh clair clairvoyant and clair audience, I think they're both they're both very, very strongly there.
• 10:09
SPEAKER_01: Um I do sometimes feel on occasion, and on occasion I do sometimes taste.
• 10:14
  SPEAKER_01: Oh no, interesting.
• 10:15
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, sometimes taste.
• 10:17
SPEAKER_01: Um there's been times where someone's had um a health issue and I've tasted blood in my mouth, basically.
• 10:22
SPEAKER_01: Not a nice sensation, but um yeah, it's it's one of those things where you can feel like I sometimes feel the affliction that someone might have felt and everything, which gives me a clue to how they might have passed, and sometimes you know everything, but mostly clear voyance and clear audience and definitely are my strongest ones, honestly.
• 10:42
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 10:43
SPEAKER_02: Um I do want to talk about your spiritual journey, but I'm just aware I just want to also talk a little bit more about the dragon side of things.
• 10:51
  SPEAKER_02: Because I haven't met anyone.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I've heard about dragon magic and dragon work, and um I haven't met anyone who works with dragons, and I would love to know the the history behind where dragon magic has come from.
• 11:06
SPEAKER_02: How how do you work with dragon magic?
• 11:08
SPEAKER_01: Dragon magic for me is is very intuitive.
• 11:11
SPEAKER_01: I can recommend several books by DJ Conaway.
• 11:14
SPEAKER_01: I think she I think most people will recognise that author's name.
• 11:18
SPEAKER_01: She's w written several books like Dancing with Magic and Dragon Magic, The Five Inner Rings.
• 11:23
SPEAKER_01: Um there's also some books by Diane Cooper, who have done drag who have done dragon uh spirit guides and that.
• 11:29
SPEAKER_01: Um there's lots of different authors um who have done it.
• 11:32
SPEAKER_01: But dragon magic for me personally is it's very intuitive, and I do agree with what a lot of the authors say that dragons respond mostly to pure heart intention and respect.
• 11:43
SPEAKER_01: Because for me personally, the dragon is the ultimate spiritual symbol of magic, spirituality, god, goddess, the universe.
• 11:54
SPEAKER_01: Because how else do you have so many cultures having dragon symbology as well as um civilizations off-world, you know, when people have channeled those, having dragon symbology?
• 12:08
SPEAKER_01: So there must have been something around at some point.
• 12:11
SPEAKER_01: They don't exist in the physical plane now, but they're on the ethereal plane.
• 12:16
SPEAKER_01: And as a result of that, um I feel that they're it's very intuitive magic, and there are you know certain certain base rules again that a lot of um different practices and traditions do agree on, such as, you know, it's okay to have a sword, but never turn it against the dragons because, you know, West, especially because of Western culture saying that, you know, we must slay the dragon and everything.
• 12:37
SPEAKER_02: It's like it's like the dragon, yeah, yeah, those kind of things.
• 12:40
SPEAKER_01: Um always respecting the dragons because you know they're one of the most powerful spiritual creatures out there.
• 12:48
SPEAKER_01: It's like, you know, if they want to basically f you up, they will f you up, basically.
• 12:52
SPEAKER_01: It's like, you know, it's you've got teeth, claws, wings, and firebreath.
• 12:56
SPEAKER_01: Do you really want to argue with that?
• 12:58
  SPEAKER_01: No, not really.
• 12:59
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 13:00
SPEAKER_01: So dragon magic is um well, actually, my my blue um my dragon symbol I use for dragon goddess here was actually inspired by this this here.
• 13:07
  SPEAKER_01: This is a Yu-Gi-Oh card.
• 13:09
SPEAKER_02: I was just yeah, for a second, I was like, it's Pokemon, but it's not Yu-Yu-GIO, but yeah, you gotta remember you.
• 13:14
SPEAKER_01: It was it was um that I loved it also because of the ancient Egyptian connection with the storyline and everything, you know, with the pharaoh being the uh being reborn into the modern airplay in the game.
• 13:26
SPEAKER_01: Blue Eyes White Dragon became my favourite card and the favourite archetype I played with and everything, and this is like representative of my familiar that I work with in that.
• 13:36
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 13:37
SPEAKER_01: Um, so there's a story behind how that came to be, which um I'll I'll tell in a little bit if it's relevant.
• 13:43
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, the the Blue Eyes White Dragon came became um uh the inspiration for my logo and everything, basically.
• 13:51
SPEAKER_01: And as you can see, I've got dragon crystals and dragon symbology everywhere.
• 13:54
SPEAKER_01: I've even got a dragon incense burner everywhere.
• 13:56
  SPEAKER_01: Which is really lovely.
• 13:57
SPEAKER_02: Um, my brother has a dragon incense burner.
• 14:01
  SPEAKER_02: You're gonna love this.
• 14:01
SPEAKER_02: He's had actually he got it in Cornwall when we were kids, when we come down there on holiday.
• 14:05
SPEAKER_02: I think he got it in Tintagel, and it's a wooden dragon bird, the dragon's on the top, and you put the incense in and put the put the dragon over it, and it looks like the dragon's breathing out the smoke wonderful.
• 14:15
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well that one's a bat flow incense, so it's so when the drag so the dragon's mouth it will come through and then fill it to make it look warm and everything.
• 14:22
SPEAKER_01: So it's a really I got that at the charity shop for like the fibre.
• 14:26
SPEAKER_02: I love bat flow incense Berness.
• 14:28
SPEAKER_02: I've got a beautiful one, it's a golden Buddha, and then it's like it's always flowing down, and it looks like water thing.
• 14:35
  SPEAKER_01: Delicious.
• 14:36
SPEAKER_01: Shout out a lovely shop, um, Jemima Rainbow.
• 14:39
  SPEAKER_01: That's where I get it from.
• 14:41
SPEAKER_01: Um she uh they sell like 20 sticks for£1.50.
• 14:44
SPEAKER_02: Jemima Rainbow Frequent her shop a lot, and now that you say that, I'm going to where is it?
• 14:51
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 14:52
  SPEAKER_02: Here she is.
• 14:53
  SPEAKER_02: I lost my pendulum.
• 14:55
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I lost my pendulum.
• 14:56
  SPEAKER_02: It's first so funny.
• 14:57
SPEAKER_02: Uh I was walking through Plymouth to record a podcast episode, and I was having a hell of a time getting through Plymouth, and I think by the end of it the pendulum went, right, you're here now, and I'm out, I'm done.
• 15:07
  SPEAKER_02: We're with it, we're through.
• 15:08
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 15:09
SPEAKER_02: Um, but I bought this one from Jemima Rainbow.
• 15:12
  SPEAKER_02: Oh.
• 15:13
  SPEAKER_02: I think I remember seeing that.
• 15:14
SPEAKER_01: Uh, how long ago did you buy that?
• 15:15
SPEAKER_01: I think about a month, maybe a month ago.
• 15:17
SPEAKER_01: I was about to say, I'm pretty sure I saw that that exact same one because I think a comment had said that's a really lovely pendulum.
• 15:22
  SPEAKER_01: Isn't it stunning?
• 15:24
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 15:24
SPEAKER_01: I've got a selenite one, but I've got a lapis lazuli one, which is my main one that I use.
• 15:29
SPEAKER_01: And Lapis Lazuli is an alternative birthstone for Sagittarians.
• 15:32
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
• 15:32
SPEAKER_01: For any Sagittarians who want to listen.
• 15:34
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so so um that's the thing, that's the thing.
• 15:37
SPEAKER_01: I'm always open-minded to alternatives and everything as well, which I think is a foundational point of which of witchcraft or by any magical path, really.
• 15:46
SPEAKER_01: Um, ultimately, um, having an open mind means that you can accept different viewpoints and everything.
• 15:52
SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, but I mean with magic, as we know, there's a lot of people who are open-minded, but we also unfortunately do have those who are a bit narrow-minded or very much their way or the highway deal, which unfortunately is in every work walk of life, even magic, you know.
• 16:09
SPEAKER_01: And something I very emphasize with when I do my magic is how important balance is.
• 16:14
SPEAKER_01: You have to take the light with the dark, you have to take the rough with the smooth, you have to take the good and the bad, you have to take this the hope of the situation, the ethereal, but you also have to take the physical reality of the situation.
• 16:26
SPEAKER_01: Even if that truth is harsh and you don't like it and you don't agree with it, it's yeah, it's like I said, it's like it's the opposite.
• 16:34
SPEAKER_01: It's the reality of the situation, but you can always hope for something better.
• 16:39
SPEAKER_01: Maybe a bit naive to say, but I've experienced situations like that where it's gone really bad and then you know something's changed and it's gone really, really good in that sense and all that.
• 16:50
SPEAKER_01: So, but that's just I mean, it's uh goodness, we need it more in our world and in this kind of state.
• 16:54
SPEAKER_02: I think it's all about balance as well.
• 16:56
SPEAKER_02: I mean, if you look in nature, there's always it's cruel, it's it's as they say, it's cruel, it's beautiful and crucial.
• 17:03
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's about balance.
• 17:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it has to happen, it can't be good all the time.
• 17:06
SPEAKER_01: I mean, we're part of nature, yeah.
• 17:07
SPEAKER_01: You know, we we always spout, we're a part of nature, and yet at the same time we always forget forget so easily and think we're separate at the same time.
• 17:16
SPEAKER_01: It's yeah, it's such an easy thing to do.
• 17:19
SPEAKER_01: Um, but I mean, I've got I mean you can see I've got a lovely communal garden around my place.
• 17:24
  SPEAKER_01: Absolutely beautiful, yeah.
• 17:26
SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's cultivated with the grass being mop mould frequently, but the plants have been left to grow a little bit wild, and I love that aspect of you know the you know, like the civilization meeting nature.
• 17:38
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 17:39
SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to think of the word and it's not coming to mind at the moment, which I'm probably gonna do quite a bit.
• 17:44
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's you know, it's like the cultivated versus the wild.
• 17:48
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 17:48
SPEAKER_01: I think that's a bit the easiest way to see it.
• 17:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, cultivated versus the wild and that.
• 17:53
SPEAKER_01: And you know, you can find beauty in both.
• 17:55
SPEAKER_01: It's as simple as that.
• 17:57
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, absolutely.
• 17:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that's another thing I emphasise is simplicity.
• 18:01
SPEAKER_01: But I'm rambling on, so if you want to go on your transmag.
• 18:05
SPEAKER_02: Um how do you connect with dragons on a pretty much on a daily basis?
• 18:10
  SPEAKER_02: On a daily basis.
• 18:11
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're like I right now, there's a dragon outside in the garden.
• 18:14
SPEAKER_01: I call him the storm dragon.
• 18:15
SPEAKER_01: He's a dark azure dragon with beautiful golden eyes, and he just sits there.
• 18:19
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 18:19
SPEAKER_01: He just sits and watches, and I call him the storm dragon because he feels attributed to storms, but he feels like a kind of guardian in a way.
• 18:28
SPEAKER_01: And um, it's just times where um I know there's the there's the debate of you should you be open all the time spiritually versus you should shut down when you it's necessary.
• 18:38
SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm pretty much open all the time, open most of the time, and I protect myself as much as I can because when I had a fright and I shut my I forcefully shut myself down, I it was so detrimental to my own physical health and my mental health, and it just wasn't good for me.
• 18:54
SPEAKER_01: And um, that's why I'm like, you know, magic should shine because if you clamp down on it, who knows what unfinished shadows could fester into if it's not taken care of, I suppose.
• 19:05
SPEAKER_01: That was my life lesson I learned from that, yeah, and everything.
• 19:08
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I see dragons all the time.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_01: I see basically like angel-like beings, I see nature spirits.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm very psychic in that sense.
• 19:16
SPEAKER_01: I see people's auras, um, people's interesting as well.
• 19:20
SPEAKER_01: Just glimpses of yeah, like I'll get a minimum of maybe two or three colours, and depending on the colour meanings, that tells me how they're feeling at that point in time.
• 19:28
SPEAKER_01: But um, one of the biggest lessons I learned from being that being able to see see clearly and everything is the fact that some people don't want to know.
• 19:38
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 19:39
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, actually, when I was less you know, naturally when I was younger, I wanted to go and tell everybody that they've got this and that.
• 19:45
SPEAKER_01: Um, but obviously, um I've I've learned now that some people don't accept that and everything.
• 19:50
SPEAKER_01: So unless it is incredibly relevant, you know, it's a case of I'll observe it, just observation and practice discernment and everything.
• 19:58
SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna have to ask now that you've said it, can you see my aura?
• 20:01
SPEAKER_01: Yes, I can, my dear.
• 20:02
SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness, what colour is mine?
• 20:04
SPEAKER_01: So at this moment, um if you don't mind me doing a little reading for you, you know, um so I'm seeing two main colours.
• 20:11
SPEAKER_01: I'm seeing a lovely emerald green and a lovely bright sunshine yellow on the outside.
• 20:15
SPEAKER_01: But the sunshine yellow has got flashes of um neon yellow, and this is a kind of neon yellow where if you were to look at it, you would think, oh, toxic.
• 20:24
  SPEAKER_01: You know, toxic water.
• 20:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, it's not fluorescent, so it feels a little when I say a fluorescent colour, that means that there's a there's some kind of poison.
• 20:32
SPEAKER_01: So I feel that you're usually of a sunny disposition, but recently you've come into contact with a toxic situation where someone's been trying to dim your shine, someone's been dying trying to dim your sun, and I feel that this has come through the form of Barb's comments.
• 20:49
SPEAKER_01: So, in other words, it sounds like a compliment, but later on when you've thought about it, you've been like actually that that didn't hit the spot right.
• 20:58
SPEAKER_01: That didn't hit the spot right.
• 20:59
SPEAKER_01: Whereas the emerald green is an indication of growth, personal growth, new opportunities growing.
• 21:06
SPEAKER_01: Um, and I feel it's kind of like an almost like emerald green of the leprechaun.
• 21:10
SPEAKER_01: So I feel like right now you feel like you've got that really lucky sensation and everything, and it's like this this door has opened and fallen, this has fallen into place so smoothly, and it just feels like you're just having a really abundant luck at the moment.
• 21:25
SPEAKER_01: Oh but like I said, you're yellow, you're you're still mostly happy, sunshine sunshine yellow, you're going fine and everything.
• 21:32
SPEAKER_01: There's just that tiny little blip of that toxic connection.
• 21:36
  SPEAKER_01: Interesting.
• 21:37
SPEAKER_01: It feels like if that's what it feels like to me.
• 21:40
SPEAKER_02: Is it true people's auras can change?
• 21:42
SPEAKER_01: Yes, I do believe so because I always um I've I've got some regular clients, and when I tune into their energies, their colours are always different.
• 21:49
  SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
• 21:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the colours are always different.
• 21:51
SPEAKER_01: I I don't deny that some people do have a maybe a base aura colour, but I think it's because I'm seeing the living energy of what they're they are feeling at the current.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_01: Time that gives me more in-depth in a bit of in-depth uh detail into the readings and things like that as well.
• 22:07
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, just it just gives a bit more context, I suppose, is the best way to put it.
• 22:11
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's great.
• 22:12
  SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
• 22:15
  SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
• 22:16
SPEAKER_02: Um can I talk a little bit about how your spiritual journey started?
• 22:19
  SPEAKER_02: Yes, of course.
• 22:20
  SPEAKER_02: Yes.
• 22:21
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so let's go back, I suppose, back to the very beginning.
• 22:25
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 22:26
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so officially I found my spirituality spirituality in witchcraft and wiccan that just over ten years ago when I came down here.
• 22:34
SPEAKER_01: But before that, ever and my journey actually began um when I was around five years old, and my nana, my late maternal nana and grandpa put on some National Geographic videos and D and which ironically I've managed to refin as DVDs now.
• 22:51
SPEAKER_01: Oh, these documentaries are from the 80s, and they're they are obviously outdated and you know, not correct information and all that, but they started my love into archaeology and history, and that was Egypt Quest for Eternity, In the Shadow of Vesuvius, and Secrets of the Titanic, because um that one had just been released right after the Titanic had been discovered.
• 23:14
SPEAKER_01: So um, so it started my love of archaeology, history in general, and especially with ancient cultures, and what really fascinated me the most about the ancient cultures was the everyday magic and the religion, and because it was so vastly different from what uh my family was protest uh Protestant, okay, uh Christian Protestant, um, but we weren't strict or anything, we just went to church, you know, and we went to Sunday school, you know, just the normal jazz sort of thing.
• 23:44
SPEAKER_01: And of course, when we became teenagers, we didn't really do that as much and all that.
• 23:47
SPEAKER_01: Um, but uh I got to visit with some f with um some of my mum's friends.
• 23:52
SPEAKER_01: I went to visit a Catholic church, and of course I got to experience not a full-blown Catholic ritual, but a full a relatively decent ritual, um, you know, communion and all that, and I was like, that's just so better than what we have in the Protestant church.
• 24:05
SPEAKER_01: Honestly, if I stayed in the Protestant church, I would I would fall asleep because I was just I was I felt so bored.
• 24:09
SPEAKER_01: But I do find Catholicism quite a spooky denomination, like it's got its rituals and its spookiness and it's ironically, it's ironically connected, you know, to you know, I mean, we've got the Orthodox Christianity, which it's a thing of um I mean, I might be wrong in saying this, so I do apologize, I'm not meaning to say anything wrong in that sense, but I do it's the thing of like um there the Orthodox Christianity and Cathol uh Catholicism and all that, they're they're two sides of the same coin, just with different structures and different ways of that doing things, but that's also a result of the schisms that happened all back, you know, in the time of the Roman Empire and you know, medieval times and everything.
• 24:50
SPEAKER_01: So it's like it's it's all changed, but it at the same time it's like you know, it's all part of the the same sort of system and everything.
• 24:57
SPEAKER_01: But Protestantism was definitely the more extreme extreme, and I'm not gonna lie, I do find it, I did find like I said, I found it no offense to the Protestants, but unfortunately I found the the sermons and that boring, and I used to fall asleep.
• 25:09
SPEAKER_01: And not like that, I think when I was younger, I do remember like asking certain questions about the Bible, like why was God nice here but crow here?
• 25:16
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I got told uh no no no no no no no no no no no no, don't question.
• 25:20
SPEAKER_01: No titchi, no titchi, no titchi, basically that sort of thing.
• 25:23
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, but I mean it is what it is at the end of the day.
• 25:28
SPEAKER_01: But um, no, I was really interested into the archaeology and everything, and I I pretty much for most of my time I grew up wanting to become an archaeologist, Egyptologist, or marine archaeologist, you know, my interest with the Titanic and shipwrecks and things.
• 25:42
SPEAKER_01: But um ultimately um so I got the I got the qualifications in Scotland to try and get onto a course and I managed to achieve a foundation degree in archaeology down here in Truro.
• 25:54
  SPEAKER_02: That's fantastic.
• 25:54
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so it was at it was actually Plymouth University, but it was at Truro College.
• 25:58
  SPEAKER_01: Oh yes, yeah.
• 25:58
SPEAKER_01: So um so I did uh the foundation course for two years there, and unfortunately, around the time I I achieved my qualification, um that was when the financial crash of 2010 hit.
• 26:09
SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, sorry about that.
• 26:10
SPEAKER_01: And the government uh and the new government came in raising the tuition fees, which the I think if I'm correct.
• 26:17
  SPEAKER_02: They wouldn't.
• 26:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and uh basically and basically I think the Scottish I think the Scottish government because of the fee hike decided not to start paying for fees anymore because they that they would actually pay for the tuition fees.
• 26:30
SPEAKER_01: Um so I was lucky and I don't have too much of a student debt in that sense, um, thankfully, but um which I know is very difficult for a lot of other people today in our um in today's society, but there was no way I could go and do another course because I was going what my plan was foundation degree in archaeology, yeah, then move on to specialised.
• 26:48
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 26:49
SPEAKER_01: And unfortunately that chance was a little bit denied to me.
• 26:51
SPEAKER_01: I and because museums downsized around the same time, I couldn't even get a foot in the door to you know, as a visitor services assistant.
• 26:58
SPEAKER_01: I nearly got one at the Museum of Flight, but it's in Dunbar, and unfortunately, to get there because I couldn't drive, it would take me five buses to get there.
• 27:06
SPEAKER_01: So it was like all the money I would have earned from doing something like that would not have worked.
• 27:10
  SPEAKER_01: No, unfortunately.
• 27:12
SPEAKER_01: Um you would have literally like suffered for your art, I suppose, or like exactly, and uh so yeah, so basically archaeology and that kind of fell by the wayside for a bit, and I just jumped from like retail job to retail job, etc.
• 27:24
SPEAKER_01: And then an opportunity, um my my husband who's who's now with me, was then then he was my boy boyfriend fiance.
• 27:31
SPEAKER_01: Um we found an opportunity to come down because he came up to Scotland to stay with me just to help get so we could gain a little bit of you know a foundational in the in the finances before we went down.
• 27:41
SPEAKER_01: And then we mean September 2014 I moved down here.
• 27:46
SPEAKER_01: But I was in the state of a depression at that time.
• 27:48
SPEAKER_01: I didn't realise that I was depressed at the time, but I was because I had been bullied out of a job.
• 27:54
  SPEAKER_01: Awful.
• 27:54
SPEAKER_01: I'd been bullied out of a job, and for the first time ever I had suffered a mental health process, yeah.
• 28:02
SPEAKER_01: A mental health issue, um which I didn't understand at the time.
• 28:06
SPEAKER_01: Um at the time or anything, but I think what stinged to was the fact that it was actually a job centre assistant who said, Emma, you do realise you were bullied out of the job.
• 28:15
SPEAKER_01: And that's what set everything off and made me realise that it wasn't because I had effed up, it was, you know, excuse my language if I do it.
• 28:22
SPEAKER_01: No, it's okay, you can start.
• 28:24
SPEAKER_01: So um so it wasn't me that effed up, it was it was the continuous bullying that had pushed me out, um pushed me out in everything.
• 28:35
SPEAKER_01: And I just happened to be in town, I just happened to be a town and there was a local there was a local reader.
• 28:42
SPEAKER_01: Um I did and uh I thought to myself, you know what, I've tried everything else, I've tried I've tried some medicines, I've tried this and that, why not?
• 28:51
SPEAKER_01: So I went for a tarot card reading and it changed my life, basically.
• 28:55
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
• 28:56
SPEAKER_01: Changed my life and everything.
• 28:58
SPEAKER_01: And from there, just to keep it the story short, um I then proceeded to join the local Bude um area pagan moot, where I found a Wiccan study group.
• 29:09
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 29:09
SPEAKER_01: Um and that evolved into its own coven.
• 29:13
SPEAKER_01: Um I was part of the coven for a few years and then I I left for personal reasons and from there um I've I've been solitary pretty much the past seven, eight years basically.
• 29:25
SPEAKER_01: And I started Dragon Goddess Healings actually in 2017 just as a hobby, just on the side here, you know, just taking just donations and exchanges and all that.
• 29:34
SPEAKER_01: And then I kind of bumped it up a little bit, maybe about a few years later, maybe just after the time of the pandemic, I think it was, um, I decided to maybe to make it a bit more of an official, you know, label it as a business, you know, getting my, you know, things like your tax code and all that prepared for just in case.
• 29:50
SPEAKER_01: But um, I think ultimately everything came to a head uh two years ago on the last Blue Moon.
• 29:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, September Blue Moon time.
• 29:59
SPEAKER_01: Um I was a manager at a local clothing store in town.
• 30:03
SPEAKER_01: Um and unfortunately, um I was approaching my two years, you know, and after two years you get protected with more worker rights and all that.
• 30:12
SPEAKER_01: They found a convenient excuse basically that I wasn't making them enough money.
• 30:17
SPEAKER_01: Oh I wasn't being in and basically I got let go from my job.
• 30:22
  SPEAKER_01: That's really that's such a shame.
• 30:24
  SPEAKER_01: That's terrible.
• 30:25
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um but well the thing was, and unfortunately it became a bit of an aim because my sales assistant, who I'd hired six months after me, I warned her, just be aware they might do the same thing to you.
• 30:37
SPEAKER_01: But she made a mista yeah, around she approached her two months, she made it she made a mistake on a credit card which was rectified.
• 30:44
SPEAKER_01: Apparently they uh but I mean obviously this is from this is her side of the story that she told me, but apparently um they investigated her for fraud and then let her go.
• 30:54
  SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
• 30:55
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, everyone makes mistakes.
• 30:57
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 30:57
SPEAKER_02: You know, and if it's something that can be rectified on the till.
• 31:00
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, exactly.
• 31:01
SPEAKER_01: Um and exactly, but yeah, unfortunately it's just it's just it's just the brutal reality of work.
• 31:09
SPEAKER_02: Sadly, there are some very toxic um work cultures or businesses out there, unfortunately.
• 31:15
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 31:16
SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, and my my advice is as well, because my husband left um my husband works at Morrison's and he left his job briefly.
• 31:24
SPEAKER_01: He left his job briefly to go to a different job, and within three months it pushed him to the point of suicide.
• 31:32
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 31:32
SPEAKER_03: That's how toxic it was for him.
• 31:34
  SPEAKER_01: And he's a very gentle soul.
• 31:36
SPEAKER_01: Um, so um it's one of those things where so basically, from my own experiences in toxic environments and from what happened with my husband and all that, I would say if you're in a toxic situation of any kind, job, family, home, whatever, get yourself the hell out of there as quickly as possible.
• 31:55
SPEAKER_01: And you know, and there's always somebody who can listen, there's always somebody you can go to, there's always someone who's willing to listen, even if it's a complete stranger.
• 32:04
SPEAKER_01: Don't stay in a poison that's going to eventually probably be very, very detrimental to you in the worst way, end of road possible way.
• 32:14
SPEAKER_01: You know, don't stay in it, get yourself out of it.
• 32:16
SPEAKER_01: Even if you're in a rock and a hard place, ultimately you always have a choice.
• 32:21
  SPEAKER_01: Of course, yeah.
• 32:21
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I always liken it to the Greek myth, you know, with the Odyssey where Odysseus has to pass between Cherubis and Scylla.
• 32:31
SPEAKER_01: Yes, he still had to make a really difficult decision, but the choice allowed him, the choice still allowed him and the rest of his men to carry on their journey at the end of the day.
• 32:42
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's it's again, it's the simplicity and brutality of and of the situation, it's the reality of the situation.
• 32:49
SPEAKER_01: End of the day, you there's always someone, get yourself out of there.
• 32:52
SPEAKER_01: That's what I would advise and everything.
• 32:54
SPEAKER_01: But sorry, that's a little bit deep there.
• 32:55
  SPEAKER_01: No, it's okay.
• 32:56
SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for sharing that.
• 32:58
SPEAKER_01: I'm not afraid to share that sort of thing because goodness knows, again, like I said earlier, with the world and everything, I think people need to realise that this stuff happens a lot more frequently and that you're not alone in it.
• 33:09
SPEAKER_01: And it's okay to share experiences.
• 33:11
SPEAKER_01: It's you know, it's not a shameful thing to say, I need help, or I'm in this situation, or you know, I've I've I I can't do this anymore.
• 33:21
SPEAKER_02: It's not a weakness to admit when you need when you're vulnerable and you're not safe, or I think if more people did, I think collectively we'd be a lot more we would feel a lot less alone and I think we'd be a lot more happier because we would be able to support each other without that judgment or stigma or shame.
• 33:38
  SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
• 33:38
SPEAKER_02: You know, so I'm totally with you on that.
• 33:40
  SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
• 33:41
SPEAKER_01: I also can be a bit blunt with some things sometimes.
• 33:43
SPEAKER_01: I do apologize about that sort of thing.
• 33:48
  SPEAKER_01: I'm a typical Sagittarius.
• 33:50
SPEAKER_01: You're very blunt and directly.
• 33:53
SPEAKER_02: My brother's a Sagittarius, so uh yeah, I get it.
• 33:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're fun-loving and we're adventurous and all that, but oh my god, we can be really we can hit it where it hurts if you're not careful.
• 34:03
  SPEAKER_01: The earth of fire.
• 34:05
  SPEAKER_01: Fire.
• 34:05
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, fire, yeah, fire.
• 34:07
  SPEAKER_01: Fire enough element.
• 34:08
  SPEAKER_01: But I've got a Taurus moon.
• 34:09
SPEAKER_01: Oh, so you are earth and fire.
• 34:11
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, which is interesting.
• 34:12
SPEAKER_01: But the interesting thing about Taurus is that um Celine, who is the the the moon goddess I mainly work with, um, she's described her chariot as either described as being uh yoked by horses or bulls.
• 34:26
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, interesting.
• 34:27
SPEAKER_01: So I had and not only that, I was born on like literally the day of a full moon.
• 34:31
SPEAKER_01: Um or at least the day before the full moon.
• 34:34
  SPEAKER_01: Oh wow, yeah.
• 34:35
SPEAKER_01: The day before the full moon, back in of because I looked at the epidermis thing.
• 34:39
SPEAKER_01: So the so the full moon energies and everything have always been with me ever since I was young and everything.
• 34:45
SPEAKER_01: And Celine, interestingly enough, um going back on the spiritual journey, I knew of the name Celine.
• 34:50
SPEAKER_01: I don't know how, I knew of the name Celine when I was about 14 years old, but I never knew why it connected so much.
• 34:57
SPEAKER_01: It could have been a I think I've probably read a couple of fantasy books that maybe have the name or anything, but there was no connection with the moon or all that.
• 35:04
SPEAKER_01: But when I found my spirituality, and then I found out who she really was, I was like, oh my god, that makes so much sense.
• 35:11
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 35:11
SPEAKER_01: And then when I started to when I started, and then when I got into my spirituality and I looked back on all the different things that happened in my life, and my first you know, paranormal spiritual experiences after my nana, my maternal nana and grandpa passed away, um, things like that.
• 35:28
SPEAKER_01: It it, you know, um, and apparently, you know, I used to giggle at things in the corner when I was little or stare at things in the corner, you know, which is again typical a typical sign of a very powerful magical child and all that.
• 35:40
SPEAKER_01: Um and I I'd always had belief in magic and the occult and wanting to read up about it, but I was always constantly told, bunch of hocus pocus.
• 35:49
  SPEAKER_01: Bunch of hocus pocus.
• 35:50
SPEAKER_01: Until in 2015, at a book talk, I met two very inspirational wise women, and this is this is a big shout out to them, Cassandra and Letitia Latham Jones, um, village wise women of St.
• 36:05
SPEAKER_01: Burian, um, uh near Penzance basically.
• 36:09
SPEAKER_01: And yeah, they You know, you could have not said that was Penzance, and I would have thought she's talking about Scotland.
• 36:15
SPEAKER_01: No, and they're they're they're in Penns, they're in Penzance and everything, and um well or they live live near Penzance at St.
• 36:22
SPEAKER_01: Burian, and I went to one of their workshops and that, but they did a book Talking Bude, and I came to it and I got Cassandra's book signed and everything.
• 36:29
SPEAKER_01: And hearing them talk about how they lived their lives as village wise women with the you know, with the you know, the the the highs and the lows and the uncertainties and everything, it was incredible.
• 36:41
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, oh my god, here's somebody who is living the magical life I've always wanted to live when I was younger, and yet I was told it was not possible.
• 36:51
SPEAKER_01: And here's a witch who actually re registered with the inland tax revenue as a proper witch business.
• 36:57
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 36:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, so it's like if if she can do it, then maybe in the future I could do it.
• 37:02
  SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
• 37:03
SPEAKER_01: So at the moment, I'm I'm kind of doing that at the moment and everything.
• 37:06
SPEAKER_01: So it's it it yeah, it still blows my mind.
• 37:09
  SPEAKER_01: I've got it.
• 37:10
  SPEAKER_01: It's cool, isn't it?
• 37:12
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I would I would have to say those two those two ladies, honestly, um, I deeply respect them, and they were probably my biggest um biggest inspiration for wanting to live magically and just trust in the process, if you like, and everything and all that.
• 37:28
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, big shout out to them, them.
• 37:30
SPEAKER_01: If you haven't um if you haven't seen them, they have their own Facebook page, they've even done their own books.
• 37:35
SPEAKER_01: Are they sisters or wives?
• 37:36
SPEAKER_01: Um I believe they're wives, but they're apprentice, they're a master and apprentice as well.
• 37:40
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 37:40
SPEAKER_01: So um, so so it's yeah, they're they're just incredible, incredibly insp inspiring and all that.
• 37:47
SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, so Cassandra's um Cassandra's got her own book, and Letitia's done um well, she did release two books, but then they're now going to be combined into one volume, I think, with a new book release uh coming out.
• 37:59
SPEAKER_01: But um, Cassandra's book is Village Wise Woman um Living Living Life in West Cornwall as a village witch, I believe.
• 38:06
SPEAKER_01: And the other one is Be Care is Letitia's, which is called Be Careful What You Witch For.
• 38:10
SPEAKER_01: You know, oh I love that.
• 38:11
  SPEAKER_01: That's great.
• 38:12
SPEAKER_01: Be careful what you wish for.
• 38:14
SPEAKER_01: And it basically documents childhood experiences to the present to the present day of how they found the craft and how it helped them through their life and all the ups and downs of life in general that threw at them and how magic helped them and all that.
• 38:27
SPEAKER_01: It's really good books, honestly.
• 38:28
SPEAKER_01: Go and go and check out.
• 38:30
SPEAKER_02: Just go and check them out to see if they want to come on a podcast.
• 38:32
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, definitely.
• 38:34
SPEAKER_02: I'll point you in there to be.
• 38:38
SPEAKER_02: Um, so I think going back to your childhood, and it sounds like you're quite, you know, awake as a child, spiritually awake, and you have these experiences.
• 38:49
SPEAKER_02: Do you have anyone in your family, sort of going back in your family history, that sort of was considered perhaps a wise woman or a seer or someone that was sort of tuned in?
• 38:58
  SPEAKER_01: Oh interesting, interesting enough.
• 39:00
SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't actually know very much about my ancestry.
• 39:03
SPEAKER_01: Um Ancestry, because I'm at the age now where I wish I had asked my nana and grandpa and all that, but because I was so innocent up until the the age they died, they passed when I was 16, 17, respectively.
• 39:15
SPEAKER_01: So um and until that point, I it had never occurred to cross my mind to ask them about that sort of thing and all that.
• 39:21
SPEAKER_01: But from what little history I do know through my mum and dad, um I think my my nana was what I think she was called a founding child because from what I understand she was found abandoned in a bin.
• 39:32
SPEAKER_01: Uh- in the Lake District.
• 39:33
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, of course.
• 39:34
  SPEAKER_01: In the Lake District.
• 39:35
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I could be wrong on that, but that's what I've been told.
• 39:38
SPEAKER_01: And and in Scottish terms, that's called a founding or fee child.
• 39:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was just saying.
• 39:43
SPEAKER_01: So it's not quite quite a changeling or anything.
• 39:46
SPEAKER_01: But apparently, um babies who were found like that are apparently quite especially magical, apparently.
• 39:51
SPEAKER_01: So I believe that my Nana and my mum both had abilities, but they're of the generation where it was more a case of at the time, hocus pocus, hush hush, keep it under the table kind of thing.
• 40:02
SPEAKER_01: And I kind of blasted that open with what I'm doing.
• 40:05
  SPEAKER_01: So Okay, so I don't know.
• 40:07
SPEAKER_01: Um unfortunately on my dad's side of the family, my dad wasn't very um on my dad's side of the family.
• 40:12
SPEAKER_01: I don't know anything very much about them to be honest.
• 40:15
SPEAKER_01: So it's it's something I've been wanting to do, but it's one of those things where I haven't really gotten around to it.
• 40:20
SPEAKER_01: But um I do believe in the in this in this in the belief of that if you're attracted to certain aspects of magic cultures in that I do agree that maybe potentially you had ancestry or a past life there at some point, and that's why you feel that connection.
• 40:38
SPEAKER_01: So with my wit um with my witchcraft, it's I'm eclectic, so I use a you use whatever I feel works for me and everything.
• 40:45
SPEAKER_01: So and the baseline is Gardinian Wicca, because that's what I was I was um schooled in, basically.
• 40:50
SPEAKER_01: Um but I'm also very interested in Straga, which is Italian witchcraft.
• 40:54
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 40:55
SPEAKER_01: Italian witchcraft, um, and of course there's dragonic uh dragon wicca as well, and um and also a lot of influence from the Cornish traditional folk folk magic in that as well.
• 41:09
SPEAKER_01: Um so yeah, so I've got a mix of different different aspects of everything in in my craft and all that.
• 41:16
SPEAKER_01: So I think with the um with the Italian side, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an Italian ancestry or a past life potentially there, um, you know, and and everything.
• 41:28
SPEAKER_01: Um but like I said, at of as of this point in time, I don't know, so I can't confirm.
• 41:33
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 41:33
SPEAKER_01: But I have always been but I do really like the I really did like the um Stega and the Core uh the Cornish traditional traditional and traditional in general and Gardenwaka.
• 41:43
SPEAKER_01: Like I said, there's some aspects of each one that I don't agree with, and but there's others that I do mostly agree with.
• 41:49
SPEAKER_01: So that's but overall I would say I'm eclectic.
• 41:52
SPEAKER_01: That's one of the easiest way, you know.
• 41:53
SPEAKER_01: I'm very much very intuitive.
• 41:55
SPEAKER_01: I work with what I feel is right.
• 41:56
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 41:57
SPEAKER_01: But I always emphasize, and this was also a lesson from um Cassandra and Letitia as well, is if you ever get lost in your magic, always go back to your basics.
• 42:06
SPEAKER_01: And without your basic, and it's I think it's absolutely paramount that you should always have a basic foundational knowledge to build upon.
• 42:14
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 42:15
SPEAKER_01: So things like even something as simple as like having at least four herbs, which are not only attributed to the different four elements, but also in a way are all purpose, which means that even if they're the only four herbs you have in your witch cabinet, it means you can do them for any spell situation.
• 42:31
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah.
• 42:33
SPEAKER_01: That's kind of it's it's it's very simplistic, but it's like, okay, so like for example, if you want to do an abundance spell, um, you haven't got any basil or anything, so what else can you use?
• 42:43
SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, rose can be used, it's attributed to water, um, and rose is an abundance of wealth, really.
• 42:50
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's traditionally love and beauty, but it can represent wealth because it's a very cultivated flower.
• 42:55
SPEAKER_01: Rosemary is an alternative herb.
• 42:57
SPEAKER_01: Um sage can be used for money as well, and um bayleaf and bay bay leaf, yeah, bay leaf for another one, you know.
• 43:04
SPEAKER_01: Um I'm trying to think of an earth, earth attributed one.
• 43:07
SPEAKER_01: I think pine, I think, is one and earth um pine can be attributed to the elements of earth and fire, but it can also be used for uh abundance in that because I mean pine forests are incredibly abundant in that sense.
• 43:20
SPEAKER_01: Like I said, that's just a little glimpse into how I think when I want to do magic and how do I pick my herbs and all that.
• 43:26
SPEAKER_01: So um like I work mostly with crystals, but I do have a few kind of good baseline herbs that I have, um, including dragon's blood and all that to utilise in my magic and all that jazz.
• 43:37
SPEAKER_02: Your let's talk about your apothecary.
• 43:39
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna call it an apothecary because that's what it looks like.
• 43:41
SPEAKER_02: It is absolutely your British cabinet, it's absolutely beautiful.
• 43:45
  SPEAKER_01: I can't stop staring at that.
• 43:46
SPEAKER_01: That was um that that one and my altar table here were actually b um being moved out of a house um one of the neighbours next door was um was uh clearing out, and he asked me and my husband if we wanted any furniture bits.
• 44:00
SPEAKER_01: I took the little coffee table that I used for my readings on.
• 44:03
SPEAKER_01: I took my altar table and I took this cabinet.
• 44:07
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 44:09
  SPEAKER_01: I'm really, really fair.
• 44:10
SPEAKER_01: Top roll is basically all my crystal bits.
• 44:12
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 44:13
SPEAKER_01: So that's my main crystal healing kit, my mini crystal kit.
• 44:15
  SPEAKER_01: I've got a dragon egg kit.
• 44:17
SPEAKER_01: Um, I've got some salonite bits there.
• 44:19
  SPEAKER_01: I've got a lovely stone here.
• 44:20
SPEAKER_01: This is a stone from St.
• 44:21
SPEAKER_01: Nichton's Glen that was gifted to me by a friend.
• 44:25
  SPEAKER_01: Um at a women's retreat.
• 44:26
SPEAKER_01: Um when you dunk it in water, you see the fire dragons in there.
• 44:30
  SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
• 44:30
SPEAKER_01: So I use this in as my all-purpose healing stone, which in traditional Cornish folk lav is use.
• 44:36
SPEAKER_01: They they dip it in water, bless the water, and then they use it to remove elements, or they can use it to bless in everything.
• 44:43
SPEAKER_01: So it's like my all-purpose healing stone in that sense.
• 44:45
SPEAKER_01: My next bit is basically that's my herge and oils.
• 44:48
SPEAKER_01: Um and I've also got all my crystal bottles and chips in there because I make little charm bottles for you made me a beautiful little charm bottle.
• 44:56
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the event that we've got.
• 44:59
  SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I was serendipitously, Matt.
• 45:01
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 45:02
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was incredible.
• 45:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I still have it, and I do tap for it.
• 45:06
  SPEAKER_02: Feel good festival, yeah.
• 45:08
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Claire Hang.
• 45:09
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so hang.
• 45:09
  SPEAKER_02: Yes, bless it.
• 45:11
SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, no, that those I I still have it on my altar, and I can't tap every couple of days again.
• 45:15
  SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
• 45:16
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like I said, like I said you to see thank you for your magic.
• 45:19
SPEAKER_01: What's the magic unfold and everything?
• 45:20
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 45:21
SPEAKER_01: Um, so yeah, so I've got all my crystal bottle chips in that one, all my oils are in that one.
• 45:26
SPEAKER_01: Speaking of, I've got to get my lemon oil actually put it in there.
• 45:28
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, lemon oil, nice.
• 45:29
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, and I've got some basic herbs.
• 45:31
SPEAKER_01: So the basic herbs I like to use.
• 45:32
  SPEAKER_01: I've got rosemary.
• 45:33
SPEAKER_01: I think rosemary is absolutely one of the most powerful herbs, definitely.
• 45:36
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 45:37
SPEAKER_01: It it just smells so good and it tastes so good when it's in cooking.
• 45:40
  SPEAKER_01: I mean, come on.
• 45:42
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the Scottish witch.
• 45:43
SPEAKER_02: Seinen came from Scotland from around.
• 45:45
SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes, they would say rosemary and is it clarisade?
• 45:48
SPEAKER_02: Because that's native to our country or up the UK.
• 45:51
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
• 45:51
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they would use rosemary and things as well because then rosemary is a sea herb.
• 45:56
SPEAKER_01: It it literally means sea dew.
• 45:58
  SPEAKER_01: Oh.
• 45:58
SPEAKER_01: And from what I understand, I believe.
• 46:00
SPEAKER_01: And not only that, it's a very tough little plant.
• 46:02
  SPEAKER_01: Abel is a clarity, isn't it?
• 46:04
SPEAKER_01: It's an everyone plant, so it's able, from what I understand.
• 46:07
SPEAKER_01: I mean, mind you, I'm not a herbalist, so I'm just, you know, if I if I'm wrong, please don't be afraid to say so.
• 46:12
SPEAKER_01: Um I'm not a herbalist, so anyone out there.
• 46:15
SPEAKER_01: So rosemary, rosemary is such a tough little plant, and it it it can grow in any environment in a um I've got rose petals, and I've got sage, I've got mugwort, of course, the classic witch's herb.
• 46:27
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 46:27
SPEAKER_01: And what was the other one?
• 46:28
SPEAKER_01: I've got frankincense and myrrh.
• 46:30
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 46:30
SPEAKER_01: Um Frankincense and myrrh because frankincense, you know, it's just absolutely amazing.
• 46:34
  SPEAKER_01: It's it's such a good antidepressant as well.
• 46:36
SPEAKER_01: If I'm feeling really down, I'll just burn some resin frankincense.
• 46:40
  SPEAKER_01: I like the resin.
• 46:40
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 46:41
  SPEAKER_01: Resin frankincense.
• 46:42
SPEAKER_01: I don't mind burning sticks, which are fine, but I generally when I cleanse my home or sage sage, sage smoke my home, I'll use sage.
• 46:50
SPEAKER_01: I think that's absolutely brilliant, and um or frankincense most of the time.
• 46:54
SPEAKER_02: My dad, um, he has this uh I don't know how to describe it apart from when you well, in the Catholic Church and they go around the city.
• 47:02
  SPEAKER_02: Centre.
• 47:02
SPEAKER_01: Yes, and you would put frankincense in it and just like just go around and just like my husband loves it when I found the frankincense because um uh because uh he his his uh father who passed away um unexpectedly from a heart attack in 2015 um he he used to do the sensor for the church.
• 47:24
  SPEAKER_01: Oh right.
• 47:25
SPEAKER_01: So frankincense has a bit of a special meaning for my husband.
• 47:27
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 47:28
SPEAKER_01: And I've got some beanie leaf, I've got some sandalwood resin, um, I've got lavender, and I've also got a bottle of ashes, which I use to make um which I used to make things like black salt.
• 47:39
  SPEAKER_01: Black salt.
• 47:40
  SPEAKER_01: Rice.
• 47:40
SPEAKER_01: And this is the ashes from the sage bundles.
• 47:42
SPEAKER_01: And I know there is a very quick and easy way to use incense stick ashes to mix to make your black salt.
• 47:50
SPEAKER_02: I've never done that with incense.
• 47:52
SPEAKER_02: You can use them at full way.
• 47:55
SPEAKER_01: I'm open to any interpretations, but I do believe, but I but at the same time, like that's a quick way if you really need black salt on the goal, basically, because obviously it's still going to have the herbs and contribute uh attributes of the sit stick in the ash.
• 48:09
SPEAKER_01: But I do save my um uh ashes from sage bundles and rosemary bundles and that, and then I grind it up and put it in here because that's obviously just a lot more potent.
• 48:19
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's just good to have have it on hand, you know.
• 48:22
SPEAKER_01: You never know and you might need it and everything.
• 48:24
  SPEAKER_01: And yeah.
• 48:25
SPEAKER_01: So it's that dragon powdered dragon's blood I can say that.
• 48:28
SPEAKER_01: I've got resin and I've got powder as well.
• 48:30
SPEAKER_01: And you only need uh, as you know, dragon's blood in general, you only need a little bit of the stuff to add the to your power to cotton the dragons and everything.
• 48:39
  SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
• 48:40
SPEAKER_01: And then the bottom roll, that's just like all the little spell jars, my candles, my mini cauldron I used to brew my my um things in, little bowls um that I used to hold my herbs.
• 48:51
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I've got little sensor and little like little sensors I can put to cook things and beads and shells and pearls and things to make the charm bottles and all that jazz.
• 49:00
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, it's it's simple, but it's got beautiful.
• 49:04
SPEAKER_01: It's got everything I need to do.
• 49:07
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you can't do it.
• 49:11
SPEAKER_02: Um protective over there apart the range of old things like that.
• 49:17
SPEAKER_01: I think it's because um I I do agree with the thing of um I do agree with the thing of if you're doing an actual proper working spell, spell, um a working spell and everything, then obviously I can understand the reasons to keep that private and all that.
• 49:32
SPEAKER_01: Um I do take when I do witchcraft services for clients, I do take a photograph of the spell, yeah, um, or me doing the spell just to show the client this is me doing your spell for you, and this is you know, this is the evidence and everything, and here is you know the results of everything and all that.
• 49:48
SPEAKER_01: Um but I do I have taken one or two pictures and I have asked for permission from the clients.
• 49:54
SPEAKER_01: Is it okay if I can share this so I can obviously show people this is me in the process of doing something?
• 49:59
  SPEAKER_01: And that's perfectly fine.
• 50:00
SPEAKER_01: And of course, like with any content creation, you know, I do stage.
• 50:08
  SPEAKER_01: Fine.
• 50:09
SPEAKER_01: Um of course I do I do some things where um I obviously I stage it for content creation, but I do it in a way where it's very generic, where it can be shared over and over again, you know, it can be reused for different contexts and everything, depending on what the context has to be and all that jazz.
• 50:28
SPEAKER_01: Um but ultimately private workings, no, I don't share them and everything.
• 50:32
SPEAKER_01: But um but my altar and everything, I mean, this is me.
• 50:36
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 50:36
SPEAKER_01: I'm perfectly fine with you guys having a look in everything because I think what is also very important is the education of we're not evil people sacrificing babies on the altar.
• 50:47
SPEAKER_01: I mean drinking the blood, drinking the blood, blood of next door neighbor's dog and uh offering up, you know, offering up then, you know, a virgin sacrifice to the you know, all that stuff.
• 50:58
SPEAKER_01: It's just you know, is it's like it's like this is my this is this is just my working space for magic.
• 51:02
SPEAKER_01: Is it any different from your working space for doing your night of eye desk job?
• 51:07
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
• 51:07
SPEAKER_01: You know, you just you just decorate it the way you want it, you organise it the way you want it to work.
• 51:11
SPEAKER_01: And this is how I do mine.
• 51:13
SPEAKER_01: So I've got my sanctuaries with my god and goddess statue.
• 51:16
  SPEAKER_01: I've got a beautiful Selene goddess.
• 51:18
  SPEAKER_01: Hey, who is this?
• 51:19
SPEAKER_01: This is Hern, the hunter.
• 51:20
SPEAKER_01: Okay, I wasn't sure who it was.
• 51:22
SPEAKER_01: So in well, um actually when I began my spiritual journey, um I immediately connected with Celine.
• 51:30
SPEAKER_01: Immediately connected with Selene, and I um and I understood how important it was to acknowledge the balance, you know, the polarities that you have in Wicca and all that.
• 51:39
SPEAKER_01: So I wanted to work with the god aspect, but in the meditation I did with him, he came to me in a very fearsome form.
• 51:46
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 51:46
SPEAKER_01: So he was completely covered in like weaves, and his eyes were bright red, like that scary kind of demonic red.
• 51:53
SPEAKER_01: Not saying he was a demon or anything, but it was more a case of and I could see the horns, but I couldn't see any other features.
• 51:59
SPEAKER_01: And in that meditation, he said very clearly to me, You're being respectful, but you are nowhere near ready to work with me.
• 52:07
  SPEAKER_01: Fair enough.
• 52:07
SPEAKER_01: So I said so I said to him instead, Well, if I can't honour you as the God form, can I at least have a token to represent you on my altar and just to acknowledge the balance?
• 52:17
SPEAKER_01: And he said that was fine, but he said, But God work, I'm nowhere near ready to deal with it.
• 52:23
SPEAKER_01: And then about three, four or five years ago, that's when he came came into my life and said, You're now ready to work.
• 52:30
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 52:31
SPEAKER_01: So and so he's taught me, so he the God and goddess in their aspects have taught me very strongly about you know, the balance of ethereal, the physical, the protector, the lover, the nurturer, um, the provider, uh, you know, the um the creatrix, the warrior, all these different aspects of thing.
• 52:52
SPEAKER_01: And how important it is to acknowledge both of these in our in our aspects and all that jazz.
• 52:56
SPEAKER_01: So it's uh yeah, it's it's really, really, really important.
• 53:00
SPEAKER_01: And you know, there's also things like there are basically set set aligned aligned roles and everything as well, you know, because it's just because of the simple physical biology, you know, biology and other things, you know, that are just you know science-based, you know.
• 53:16
SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm not one for dissing science or anything like that at all, because it I mean physics is physics is just another form of magic, but it's more coming out now.
• 53:24
SPEAKER_02: Like scientists are going, oh, actually, we've just proved that what you this quantum physics happens, does that?
• 53:30
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're just gonna prove that woo-woo is actually real.
• 53:32
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we just sat there like, it's like it's like basically science is the measurable side of magic.
• 53:38
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
• 53:39
SPEAKER_01: And magic itself is immeasurable because you because you can't measure it really, and in that aspect, uh well, you can in some in some ways you could say with results, you know, is it good good or bad results and all that, but yeah, the science is just a different form of magic, just more measurable in that sense.
• 53:55
  SPEAKER_01: You know, it's it's understandable why.
• 53:57
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, no, the the god and goddess, um, so that's the two god and goddess, the god and goddess I work with mostly.
• 54:03
SPEAKER_01: Um, and then I would say my main uh tools after that would be the wand and the cauldron, because the wand directs energy, the cauldron, it's it it can hold you know nearly anything in it.
• 54:16
SPEAKER_01: You know, you can burn a fire, offer incense, offerings, uh petitions, you know, grind make your potions in, make your incenses in it.
• 54:25
SPEAKER_01: It it's just like the tool of the witch.
• 54:27
SPEAKER_01: Well that sounds very cliche to say, but it really is yeah.
• 54:29
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then I've got my pentacle plate here that I made myself.
• 54:33
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna talk about this in a bit because this is beautiful.
• 54:37
  SPEAKER_01: I've been trying, I've been I'll I'll be honest with you.
• 54:39
SPEAKER_01: I've been trying, I've been trying to sell it on markets, but unfortunately, they've been very slow, so but we'll we'll do some commercial.
• 54:46
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but um but basically um yeah, um I've I made the moon plate myself, basically.
• 54:52
SPEAKER_01: Um I can How would you use this moon plate if you want to?
• 54:56
SPEAKER_01: Well I just use it, I just hold all the bits and bulbs.
• 55:02
SPEAKER_01: So if I'm doing spell, it's all on here.
• 55:04
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 55:05
SPEAKER_01: And if I'm if I'm doing something that involves fire, obviously please practice fire safety.
• 55:09
  SPEAKER_01: That is absolutely important.
• 55:10
SPEAKER_01: I had an experience of seeing a natural flaming witch once.
• 55:14
SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah, someone caught fire, which I'll tell you about in a minute, uh tell you about in a moment.
• 55:19
SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, and I unfortunately did have uh an unfortunate experience with that.
• 55:24
SPEAKER_01: But basically I would put um I put my lovely labyrinth sleep piece, which is made by by a friend of mine, Joel Thurrowind, um, of Dream Space.
• 55:32
SPEAKER_01: She um made a beautiful piece.
• 55:33
SPEAKER_01: I'll bring it out in a moment.
• 55:34
SPEAKER_01: Um but I put it on here and then I'll put like whatever cauldron is being used for the burning sensation, it'll go on there, and then the rest of the spelling will be around it.
• 55:43
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 55:44
SPEAKER_01: And all that's and then and it can also be a mini altar, it's just big enough to hold um because I've got a travelling altar kit.
• 55:50
SPEAKER_01: It's if I bring this with me to give me a nice flat, stable service, especially if I'm doing rituals outside, it's just big enough for me to put a little altar on there and then do offerings and that afterwards and all that.
• 56:00
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, and of course we've got my crystal ball.
• 56:02
SPEAKER_01: Yes, which is a beautiful slightly like a crystal.
• 56:06
SPEAKER_02: Tarot cards and lovely tarot card case by the way with uh with your Pentagram chart.
• 56:11
SPEAKER_02: I got I'm I maybe a bit shaped a bit this, but I got that on Wish.
• 56:16
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I don't remember Wish.
• 56:18
  SPEAKER_01: Is that still going?
• 56:19
  SPEAKER_01: It's still going, yeah.
• 56:20
SPEAKER_01: Tell me the new version.
• 56:22
SPEAKER_01: I don't get from Tem or anything.
• 56:24
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, unfortunately I installed Wish a little while ago because I I realised I wasn't really doing any favours by buying things off there, but you know, considering considering what what's been going on, but it is what it is.
• 56:35
SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna get into that.
• 56:37
SPEAKER_01: But I it was on a deal and I thought uh that's exactly my colour and everything, and I'd I just got it.
• 56:42
SPEAKER_01: And then of course I've got my um I've got the chalice, I've got a moon bowl, so that is that is an aspect from Strago Witchcraft.
• 56:50
SPEAKER_01: They would actually use a shell or a moon bowl with 13 shells in it to represent the 13 moons.
• 56:56
SPEAKER_01: Um so I've kind of adapted it with a proper copper triple moon bowl, but I've got 13 what call moon jewels inside, and I'll usually put a tea candle.
• 57:06
SPEAKER_01: And the moon, the purpose of the moon bowl or the spirit bowl was to hold the sacred flame to ignite divinity.
• 57:12
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 57:12
SPEAKER_01: So in Strega witchcraft they use a um alcohol, alcohol, and typically one called Stra Streganara, um or a Strega Strega liquor, and um yeah, I just adapt that by just putting a tea light in there.
• 57:26
SPEAKER_01: So I've got a symbol that represents divinity, if you like, and balancing with the chalice and all the other bits, and then of course I've got my lovely angel or selenite, selenite dragon header to represent the dragon in connection.
• 57:39
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, and that one's Serena.
• 57:40
SPEAKER_01: So Serena, yeah, that's Serena.
• 57:42
SPEAKER_01: Um so yeah, there's a lot of moon names involved with all of my bits that I have named.
• 57:47
SPEAKER_02: How many dragons do you work with?
• 57:50
SPEAKER_02: Like, do you I mean I know you mentioned you have a familiar and you have your fate your favourite dragon, but um being dragon goddess healings, how many do you kind of have with you all the time?
• 58:00
  SPEAKER_01: Uh a lot.
• 58:02
SPEAKER_01: Well, then we've got this there's a storm dragon in the guardian machine, but there's l there's every aspect of nature has got a dragon spirit to it.
• 58:10
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 58:10
  SPEAKER_01: And that's what I feel.
• 58:11
  SPEAKER_01: That's what I've seen.
• 58:12
SPEAKER_01: Um currently um Blue Eyes is that's her code name.
• 58:16
SPEAKER_01: Um, this is my white dragon film, she's actually been seen by other psychics.
• 58:20
  SPEAKER_01: So I know she's genuine.
• 58:22
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 58:23
SPEAKER_01: How she came to be was um when uh uh was way back at the beginning when I first started to really open up.
• 58:31
SPEAKER_01: And after my husband's father passed away in 2015, um so this is only a year after I'd found the study group and everything, um, that was when I discovered I was a psychic medium.
• 58:42
SPEAKER_01: And that was from a friend who was um from a friend who told me that basically I was seeing a picture of my husband's father, besides Olive Bush, delivering a particular message, and I just chopped it up to grief.
• 58:56
SPEAKER_01: But then a psychic friend saw the same image and message told me about it.
• 59:00
SPEAKER_01: And then when I said I've been seeing that all the time, I don't know what to do if I thought it was just grief, and then she looked at me and went, You do realize you're a medium, right?
• 59:08
SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's explains everything else.
• 59:11
SPEAKER_01: I was like, Derek Cora?
• 59:13
SPEAKER_01: You know, Derek Raccour's been a big inspiration as well.
• 59:16
SPEAKER_01: Um but yeah, I know, and um, but around that time as well, um around that time as well, um I do believe me and my husband were actually being attacked by a psychic entity of some kind.
• 59:27
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 59:28
SPEAKER_01: Born out of um, well, over there is where it over over over there is where there's there wasn't a very good reputation over there, let's just say, things like drugs and all that.
• 59:38
SPEAKER_01: I won't go any further on it because I don't know the full context or details.
• 59:42
SPEAKER_01: But basically, I think an entity born out of the constant abuse of that sort of thing, um, I it tried to attack me and Chris one night, and I was terrified, but I was in a half asleep state, and the next thing I saw was this beautiful white dragon charged past me and grabbed this entity.
• 1:00:00
SPEAKER_01: It made itself look like it was huge, but it just turned out to be the size of a rat.
• 1:00:06
SPEAKER_01: And my the dragon was just shaking it like a terrier, and then it it completely disappeared, and then uh this and then I just saw a goofy, you know, goofy grin on the dragon's face, but hi, dead mommy.
• 1:00:16
SPEAKER_01: You know, and um and for a short period afterwards, and actually, because I'd just only again been into my craft for a short period of time, I I wasn't sure whether or not to believe it or not, until another uh someone came up to me and said, You've got a really beautiful white dragon following you.
• 1:00:34
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, No way.
• 1:00:37
SPEAKER_01: And she's been with me ever since.
• 1:00:39
SPEAKER_01: She looks after at least six or seven, eight baby dragons in a while.
• 1:00:44
  SPEAKER_01: And they're all they're all kind of gemstone-like.
• 1:00:47
SPEAKER_01: So I've got um, so I've got obviously I won't reveal their names because that's private dragons.
• 1:00:51
SPEAKER_01: Dragons are a bit private about that sort of thing.
• 1:00:53
SPEAKER_01: They don't um and all that, but they're they're kind of like uh so I would I would just I would say one of them is kind of like garnet coloured, but with a sunset yellow belly and horns, you know.
• 1:01:02
SPEAKER_01: So I've got a f a few of those, but they're all really adorable, they're all very playful, and they're just they're just sweet, really sweet, and they're very protective of me and of blue eyes and everything, and all that.
• 1:01:14
SPEAKER_01: And there was a child a child at one of the events and she was like, Who's that purple dragon?
• 1:01:18
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Oh, good grief.
• 1:01:21
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I was like, Yeah, yeah.
• 1:01:22
SPEAKER_01: So it's like um, yeah, so like I said, other people have seen the dragon, yeah, have connected with it things.
• 1:01:28
  SPEAKER_01: So that's what I was complimentary.
• 1:01:29
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was n it was nice.
• 1:01:30
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I mean, I'm not afraid to admit it naturally.
• 1:01:33
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I've been practicing for over ten years, and I still have trouble believing things sometimes or trusting in my intuition, as you do.
• 1:01:40
SPEAKER_01: We're only human at the end of the day.
• 1:01:42
SPEAKER_01: Um, only human at the end of the day, and um ultimately, like I said, I'm I'm I'm kind of doubting myself now about with some things that have been coming up recently.
• 1:01:52
SPEAKER_01: Like you've you said yourself, you've been going through some shadow working recently yourself.
• 1:01:56
SPEAKER_01: Um I feel well, I mean, we I know all that, uh Pluto's retrograde at the moment, so that's mainly the reason why.
• 1:02:02
SPEAKER_01: But we've also got the Mercury retrograde coming up soon.
• 1:02:04
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, again.
• 1:02:05
SPEAKER_01: Uh well actually it's the first one this year.
• 1:02:07
SPEAKER_01: Did we not have it early on this year?
• 1:02:09
SPEAKER_01: Usually we have it four times a year, but this year's only three apparently.
• 1:02:13
SPEAKER_01: The first one's in June.
• 1:02:15
  SPEAKER_01: Really?
• 1:02:15
SPEAKER_01: I thought I feel well but hang on.
• 1:02:17
SPEAKER_01: So that's I think I could be wrong on that, but I mean I mean we could have always we can always Google.
• 1:02:22
  SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
• 1:02:22
SPEAKER_02: I just feel like we had one this year.
• 1:02:24
SPEAKER_02: Maybe it was towards the end of last year, which is why it still feels so like I never speak to them accurate, right?
• 1:02:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, in 2026, according to Google, uh Mercury goes oh yeah, um it was February 26th, 20th, March.
• 1:02:38
SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, we have had a lot of that okay, so that's my bad.
• 1:02:42
SPEAKER_01: I do have a next one's June 29th, is when it starts, and next one after that is October 24th.
• 1:02:48
SPEAKER_01: No over right over Halloween.
• 1:02:52
  SPEAKER_01: Fuck you, Mercury.
• 1:02:54
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, sorry.
• 1:02:55
SPEAKER_01: Uh Mercury, Mercury, well, it's not Mercury's fault.
• 1:02:57
SPEAKER_01: I mean, Mercury's only doing its job by being a psychopomp, you know.
• 1:03:01
SPEAKER_01: It's it's just I like to be able to sleep.
• 1:03:04
  SPEAKER_01: I suppose that's a fair reason.
• 1:03:06
  SPEAKER_01: I like to sleep.
• 1:03:07
SPEAKER_01: Well, the thing is, the thing I see with Mercury is that yes, it's frustrating, yes, it's it's it's um it's frustrating, it's stalling, it's procrastination a lot.
• 1:03:16
SPEAKER_01: But ultimately, it's like Mercury is that mini reminder, besides a plural retrograde or any or even a Saturn retrograde, it's a mini reminder.
• 1:03:24
SPEAKER_01: Is there a shadow you need to deal with?
• 1:03:29
SPEAKER_01: But again, that's just my own experience and everything, but yeah, but I I mean I'm not too bothered by Mercury retrogrades.
• 1:03:35
SPEAKER_01: I just it's like okay, just planet advance, clear communication and clear honesty.
• 1:03:41
SPEAKER_01: That's the key, you know.
• 1:03:42
SPEAKER_01: Me, because naturally, like me and my husband do get a bit more argumentative during a Mercury retrograde, which is only natural, but we do appreciate the honesty.
• 1:03:49
SPEAKER_01: We try to communicate as clearly as possible, and it usually abates most things, so it's not too bad there.
• 1:03:56
SPEAKER_02: With dragons, but do you believe or do you say or do you think that that everyone has a dragon like everyone has a spirit animal?
• 1:04:03
SPEAKER_01: Yes, I do believe everyone has a spirit animal, and dragons are just like any other animal in that they will pick and choose who they want to go to.
• 1:04:12
SPEAKER_01: You know, I don't deny you can create your own familiar to come in.
• 1:04:15
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I created my white dragon familiar somehow.
• 1:04:17
SPEAKER_01: I don't know how the hell I did it, but I did.
• 1:04:19
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:04:20
SPEAKER_01: Um I think it was out of the desperate need of protection, I think, you know, and it just came out of it just came out of left ball field for me for that.
• 1:04:28
SPEAKER_01: But she's been very loyal since then.
• 1:04:30
SPEAKER_01: Um and of course there's going to be some people that drivers will just absolutely adamantly not want to work with.
• 1:04:36
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's no different from wanting to work with, say, um, say if you wanted to work with Native American um Native American uh spirits and all that, you know, some might work with you because you know they can see you're respectful and others will be like, absolutely not.
• 1:04:51
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 1:04:52
SPEAKER_01: You know, and there's also, you know, there's also the concept of like witches force things to be under their control.
• 1:04:58
  SPEAKER_01: I don't think that's true.
• 1:05:00
SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, you only have to look at shamans.
• 1:05:02
SPEAKER_01: I mean, shamans allow spirit to guide them.
• 1:05:04
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it could be wrong again.
• 1:05:05
SPEAKER_01: I don't know very much about shamanism in that sense, but from what I understand, shamans let spirit lead the way, and witches to a degree do control to a degree, but they also most of the time, I mean, we've got good and bad witches, um, most of the time spirit, you know, witches will respect the thing of a spirit as well.
• 1:05:24
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's as simple as that.
• 1:05:27
SPEAKER_01: And I think it's the same with dragons.
• 1:05:30
SPEAKER_01: So I believe, um I do believe that everyone has a psychic ability or magical ability.
• 1:05:36
SPEAKER_01: Some are stronger than others, um, some accept it outright, they're fine with it, some are indifferent to it, some are like I don't want to deal with it, and others are absolutely terrified of it.
• 1:05:48
SPEAKER_01: And we have to acknowledge that.
• 1:05:50
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, it's no different from a dog.
• 1:05:51
SPEAKER_01: You mean it's it's like you know, a dog can be very loyal to you, but oh my god, it could hate your uncle Larry for some reason.
• 1:05:57
SPEAKER_01: You don't know why, but obviously I Rather trust the animal.
• 1:06:01
SPEAKER_01: I would rather trust the animal.
• 1:06:02
SPEAKER_01: And if the animal's saying no, then I would say, okay, there's probably a reason for why.
• 1:06:07
SPEAKER_01: And we may not understand it, but the the the animal knows, so I'll trust that basically.
• 1:06:12
SPEAKER_01: So I think it's the same with dragons and everything.
• 1:06:15
SPEAKER_01: Um, but I do believe everyone does have, you know, spirit guide, a guardian angel, ancestor spirits who do help, and of course we've also got the opposite where you can have ancestor spirits you try to hinder as well.
• 1:06:27
SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's something I've learned in media I've learned through my mediumship, is that you know, some do love and support you and want to be, and then some are just like, oh no, thank you.
• 1:06:35
SPEAKER_01: We don't want to, you know, I'm really nasty, basically, really nasty and all that sort of thing.
• 1:06:40
SPEAKER_01: But that's my opinion on that sets, yeah.
• 1:06:43
SPEAKER_02: Um, so if people come to your therapy room uh for a session with you, and you've got your um uh your therapy bed.
• 1:06:50
  SPEAKER_02: The therapy beds.
• 1:06:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, just the words of a second there.
• 1:06:53
SPEAKER_02: My brain would just be a good thing.
• 1:06:54
  SPEAKER_01: Today's today's a word today's a word salad.
• 1:06:57
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so you've got your therapy beds, you've got your uh your basum on the wall, you've got your beautiful um Well, I'll show you I'll show you after thoughts.
• 1:07:05
SPEAKER_01: I've actually got a proper B sum that was made by uh well, that was made by uh um a a bruja.
• 1:07:11
  SPEAKER_01: A bruja.
• 1:07:12
  SPEAKER_01: Uh Spanish witch.
• 1:07:14
SPEAKER_01: Oh wow, my husband's mother and father lived in Spain for some time, and uh there was an old lady who lived next door to them.
• 1:07:21
SPEAKER_01: Um they lived in cave homes, basically.
• 1:07:24
SPEAKER_01: And uh she was um she was uh uh a bruja witch, from what I understand, um, because she did things that as my mum said, as my mother-in-law says, I call her mum, she said, um let's just say whenever she did these little rituals, it really reminded of me of what you do.
• 1:07:40
SPEAKER_01: So I do think there were connections there, but she brought the broom over and she gifted it to me, so it now decorates my front door, of course, naturally protecting the front door, front house, and of course this one protect which is only a child uh child's toy and that I decorated and everything because I really wanted my one for here um decorated and it protects the temple room.
• 1:07:58
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's lovely.
• 1:07:59
SPEAKER_01: Alongside the staff guardian, of course, as well.
• 1:08:01
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
• 1:08:02
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, so if people come in here for a session with you, you've got the therapy bed, you've got um your apothecary, your altar, your readings.
• 1:08:11
SPEAKER_02: What sort of um what sort of therapy do you do with a therapy bed?
• 1:08:14
SPEAKER_01: So basically that this is where I mainly do my crystal healing.
• 1:08:17
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:08:18
SPEAKER_01: So and obviously crystal healing, I can do crystal healing through the hands.
• 1:08:21
SPEAKER_01: So when I do market events, yeah, um, this is way too heavy to carry because unfortunately I don't drive, so I have to walk everywhere or get a friend's lift and everything.
• 1:08:30
SPEAKER_01: And therapy beds are really hard, but they are very good for when you need to lie down on.
• 1:08:34
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:08:34
SPEAKER_01: Um, I use it for my own personal use as well, for my own meditations and everything if I do them.
• 1:08:39
SPEAKER_01: Um or sometimes I just come in here just to enjoy the space.
• 1:08:42
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
• 1:08:42
SPEAKER_01: It's just nice to it's just nice to lie down and just enjoy the space.
• 1:08:45
SPEAKER_01: But generally for crystal healing, um, if I need to do uh witchcraft healing of some kind, so that's using like my tools and that, not alongside the crystals, then I would probably say lie down on the therapy bed.
• 1:08:57
SPEAKER_01: But mainly for my um it was just a good call to I think to have for crystal healing and everything.
• 1:09:03
SPEAKER_01: Um and with my tarot cards, I've got my little coffee table there that I put my tarot cards on and um the cabinet behind you there, that was actually built by my husband's late father.
• 1:09:13
SPEAKER_01: Um so I put my tools and that on there that's relevant to the session, and then depending on you know what's needed, if it's a witchcraft session, if it's a um crystal healing session or anything, with my crystal ball and crystal and tarot crowd reading, exactly that's just on the table.
• 1:09:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:09:29
SPEAKER_01: And nothing further than that.
• 1:09:30
SPEAKER_01: But I do, like I said, everything in this room has got a purpose to it, and it, you know, it's there because you know, it's just it's just good practice to have, I suppose.
• 1:09:39
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:09:40
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 1:09:40
SPEAKER_02: So how can how do how do people find you, Emma?
• 1:09:44
SPEAKER_02: If people want um uh a session with you, whether it's crystal healing tarot, doing your your little charm bottle that you do.
• 1:09:52
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so um my main social media is Facebook.
• 1:09:55
SPEAKER_01: I've also got an Instagram as well.
• 1:09:57
SPEAKER_01: Um I can also do a muscle on WhatsApp as well.
• 1:10:00
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:10:00
SPEAKER_01: Um so those are my three main uh uh social medias and everything.
• 1:10:04
SPEAKER_01: I am in the process of hope getting a website built up just in case because unfortunately I I find personally with social media recently they've been moving the golf coat got the golf coat post.
• 1:10:15
SPEAKER_01: Goal post word telling goal posts, they go post so much with the algorithms and that I've just given up on that.
• 1:10:24
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's a cool mistress.
• 1:10:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it's I well the thing is is that the one thing I do that I think the one thing that I think is key for anybody who does social media is just posting consistently, whether that's daily or every other day or something, posting consistently because remember social media was built on the algorithm of posting constantly.
• 1:10:45
  SPEAKER_02: It's just so draining.
• 1:10:47
  SPEAKER_01: It's just so draining.
• 1:10:48
SPEAKER_01: I mean, minimum I'll do one post a day because it just keeps me on the bandwagon, but I can do maximum three posts because I'm of the opinion of and I know I need to balance, you know, promoting myself and everything, but at the same time, I don't want to spam people all the time.
• 1:11:03
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it's that's just me personally.
• 1:11:05
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are my main ways.
• 1:11:09
SPEAKER_01: I do also have email and of course my mobile phone, you know, if you want to have just an old-fashioned call that way and all that.
• 1:11:14
SPEAKER_01: But basically, I can do my services online.
• 1:11:17
SPEAKER_01: Um, so I can do an email, phone call, video call via social medias.
• 1:11:21
SPEAKER_01: Um, I can do them in person, one-to-one as well.
• 1:11:24
SPEAKER_01: Um, just book a session with me.
• 1:11:26
  SPEAKER_01: I work between the hours of 11 till 11 till 5.
• 1:11:30
SPEAKER_01: Um, and the reason why I do that is because um it g it gives me at least between nine o'clock and eleven o'clock, it gives me time to get any morning errands done.
• 1:11:39
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 1:11:39
SPEAKER_01: Um, if I need to go, like do I need to quickly run to the doctors for something?
• 1:11:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're like, Yeah, exactly.
• 1:11:44
SPEAKER_01: Just life I've been at.
• 1:11:46
  SPEAKER_01: And then five o'clock.
• 1:11:47
SPEAKER_01: Um I did used to have it till six, but I do five o'clock now because I feel like um I feel like evenings it was encroaching too much into my evenings, and I like to spend my evenings with my husband.
• 1:11:56
SPEAKER_01: Yes, you know what I mean.
• 1:11:57
SPEAKER_01: So it's it sounds a bit selfish to say that, but I think keeping timed hours is actually not a bad thing in that sense.
• 1:12:03
SPEAKER_01: No, I think it's boundaries as well.
• 1:12:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, healthy boundaries and everything, because I think that is so important and all that.
• 1:12:08
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, basically, um, you know, I I post regularly about my services, I share leaflets at events and around town and everything.
• 1:12:16
SPEAKER_02: No, you're a regular event in Bud, is that right?
• 1:12:19
SPEAKER_01: Um at the moment I've got um events going on, so I'm down at the Bude Farmers Market.
• 1:12:23
SPEAKER_01: Yes, um at the Bude Wharf.
• 1:12:25
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that's every Friday.
• 1:12:26
SPEAKER_01: And I only go down twice a month, and I usually announce on social media when I'm going down.
• 1:12:30
SPEAKER_01: But the farmers market itself is every Friday from Easter till September.
• 1:12:35
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:12:35
SPEAKER_01: Um any if there's any spiritual markets that come around and they're specifically for Bude, I try to jump in as uh grab a space naturally because when the ones come to Bud, they get filled up very quickly a lot of the time.
• 1:12:47
  SPEAKER_01: Um and things.
• 1:12:48
SPEAKER_01: And I also do a monthly event at the Bude Golf Club.
• 1:12:52
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:12:53
SPEAKER_01: Um I do tarot card readings with percentage proceeds donated to charity.
• 1:12:57
SPEAKER_01: And the charity yeah, the charity we're currently supporting now is the Southwest Children's Hospice.
• 1:13:02
SPEAKER_02: Okay, because it was a surf, was it a surf aid?
• 1:13:04
SPEAKER_01: Surf it was at Surf.
• 1:13:08
  SPEAKER_01: I believe that that's shower.
• 1:13:10
SPEAKER_01: Change in management and they chose a different charity, as you know, but even though it's still there's a percentage proceeds being donated to charity.
• 1:13:16
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:13:17
SPEAKER_01: Um and uh what what else?
• 1:13:20
  SPEAKER_01: What else is there?
• 1:13:21
SPEAKER_01: Um I go also go to Hallsworthy, I go to my friend um Izzy Florendine, um, who runs Willow Tree Therapies there.
• 1:13:28
SPEAKER_01: So I do you know, I do like basically what I do at the market there, you know, half an hour readings and that there, um 10 till 2, yeah, mostly twice a month, mostly on a Monday.
• 1:13:37
SPEAKER_01: You know, so I've got I've got things set up and I've got things booked booked for the next few months and everything and all that, but it's also I'm trying to build up my clientele, you know, I'm just trying to um make a living from what I've got because I mean I've I've already said this to quite a few people, but I've but I have been looking for something part-time just in case, you know.
• 1:13:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's just nice to have that foundation, yeah, you know, that stability.
• 1:14:01
SPEAKER_01: But anything I've looked into job-wise has just gone down the toilet.
• 1:14:06
SPEAKER_01: And anything with Dragon Goddess has been relatively quite smooth.
• 1:14:11
SPEAKER_01: So it's like I mean, I need to go where the magic on the on the thing that I need to go where the magic and the finances go, basically.
• 1:14:19
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's not uh it's not a lot of income, but it's something, at least I'm I'm I'm doing that, and I'm I'm not part of the I'm not on job seekers or anything like that either, because the the the thing with the system is is that if I go on it, then anything I earn gets taken away from the subs you know, the the the amount that's supposed to help you, and I don't think that's right.
• 1:14:40
SPEAKER_01: You know, I think the system is very outdated and all that personally, you know.
• 1:14:44
SPEAKER_01: I think there should be like there should be strict measurements to obviously stop you know people, chancers getting off and all that, but unfortunately, well won't go into that because I don't want to bring that into it, but you know, unfortunately, as we know, systems can get broken, can get broken, can get corrupt and everything, and it's it's very difficult, very difficult to believe in believe in that when you really need help and all that.
• 1:15:05
SPEAKER_01: But like I said, it's um it's it's a bit of a balance and all that, but I'm happy to be living this magical life at the moment.
• 1:15:12
SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm relatively free of my time, and of course, enjoying time with wonderful people like yourself, of course, and you know, and and just looking for opportunities like this to do podcasts, to do events, to give back to the community when I can, and just using my own natural magical abilities to help people in a different alternative way.
• 1:15:35
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:15:35
SPEAKER_01: Yes, it may not be regulated, it may not be recognized officially as you know, with a certificate on the wall and all that, but I mean you only have to look back a hundred, two hundred years ago, and people would still go to their village wise witch for you know, just that extra bit of magic that would change their fortunes or at least give them clarity on what was going on and all that.
• 1:15:57
SPEAKER_01: I mean, why not continue that?
• 1:15:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, I mean magic's been around.
• 1:16:01
SPEAKER_01: I mean, what is life but a miracle of magic in and of itself?
• 1:16:04
  SPEAKER_01: Really?
• 1:16:05
SPEAKER_01: That's just such a perfect way to put it.
• 1:16:07
  SPEAKER_01: It is, it is.
• 1:16:08
SPEAKER_01: I mean, life, you know, yes, life, you you could say there's a scientific factor, you know, it is measurable in that sense, but ultimately, what is life but a miracle of magic in and of itself?
• 1:16:16
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:16:17
SPEAKER_02: You know, it's such a lovely way of looking at it as well.
• 1:16:20
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, giving thanks, giving gratitude all the time, being kind.
• 1:16:24
SPEAKER_01: My goodness, we need more of that.
• 1:16:26
SPEAKER_01: Being kind to people, a smile at someone, it really a a kind word to someone, it really can make someone's day.
• 1:16:33
SPEAKER_01: Again, I could be talking from a very naive viewpoint, but I truly believe, you know, we're we're all human at the end of the day, for goodness sake.
• 1:16:43
SPEAKER_01: And ultimately, you know, if everyone was just a little bit more kinder to one another, this world would definitely be a more better place.
• 1:16:50
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 1:16:51
SPEAKER_01: I definitely do believe that.
• 1:16:52
SPEAKER_01: And I still believe it can be.
• 1:16:54
  SPEAKER_01: We've just forgotten that.
• 1:16:55
SPEAKER_01: So that's where we as the healers, the witches, the shamans, that's where we come in.
• 1:17:00
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:17:00
SPEAKER_01: You know, we we show that magic is real and anybody can access it and use it for good intentions and can change their lives for the better.
• 1:17:10
SPEAKER_01: That's why I believe magic, magic transforms lives in that sense.
• 1:17:15
SPEAKER_02: Emma, thank you so much for joining me.
• 1:17:18
  SPEAKER_02: No directly.
• 1:17:19
  SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
• 1:17:19
  SPEAKER_01: I do apologize if I rambled a bit.
• 1:17:22
  SPEAKER_01: That always been great.
• 1:17:22
SPEAKER_01: I know, I know I mentioned I've just I've just no, no, I've just noted I've got I've got ADHD, so I've noticed that.
• 1:17:28
SPEAKER_01: I've mentioned some bits I've never talked about it, but I didn't talk about it.
• 1:17:32
SPEAKER_01: But hey, but we can save that for another podcast at some point in the future.
• 1:17:35
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, of course we can.
• 1:17:37
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, awesome.
• 1:17:38
SPEAKER_01: No, thank you so much for the opportunity.
• 1:17:40
  SPEAKER_01: You're very well honest.
• 1:17:41
  SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much.
• 1:17:42
SPEAKER_01: And I I'm gonna repeat myself like a part there, but I'm grateful.
• 1:17:45
  SPEAKER_01: I'm really grateful.
• 1:17:46
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I am grateful for you to allow me in your sacred space to speak on the podcast.
• 1:17:51
SPEAKER_02: And it's just so lovely to sit down and have a chat with you and get to know your practice and spiritual journey.
• 1:17:56
SPEAKER_02: I definitely hope to have you back on in the future.
• 1:17:58
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, thank you.
• 1:17:59
SPEAKER_01: I'll look forward, I'll look forward to it as well.
• 1:18:01
SPEAKER_01: And like I said, so yeah, I just I just hope anybody who's been listening to this podcast at least takes a little something away from it, you know, even if it's just a word or phrase and it resonates with them.
• 1:18:11
SPEAKER_01: If it helps you and it puts a smile, smile on your face, then I think I've done my job as a as a priestess of the old ways in that sense.
• 1:18:19
SPEAKER_01: You know, I've I've served I've served the goddess and spirit in that sense by inspiring someone else's spark of magic to ignite.
• 1:18:26
  SPEAKER_02: That's lovely.
• 1:18:27
  SPEAKER_02: What a lovely outro.
• 1:18:28
  SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
• 1:18:29
  SPEAKER_02: Thank you very much.
• 1:18:38
SPEAKER_02: I hope you all enjoyed listening to this episode with Emma.

• 1:19:04
