- 0:07Speaker 2: Us because I use that for animation?
- 0:09Speaker 1: Now, real nice, you took the fucking iHeart Sony camera
- 0:14Speaker 1: and don't use it for the What if we want
- 0:17Speaker 1: to one day put these on YouTube and you're gonna
- 0:19Speaker 1: look like that and not high death?
- 0:23Speaker 2: That's fine with me.
- 0:25Speaker 1: You don't give two f's.
- 0:26Speaker 2: This camera's high death.
- 0:27Speaker 1: It's just not that sucks.
- 0:30Speaker 2: It's just not four K bro, that's all.
- 0:32Speaker 1: You look pixelated compared to me.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Look okay, but I guess you know, I guess it's okay.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Let's talk about Disneyland. We went to Disneyland.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Oh so fuck? Did oh my god?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Did you have fun? Joelle and Donald made lightsabers?
- 0:50Speaker 2: I did make a lightsaber.
- 0:51Speaker 3: I got miss the ied in there.
- 0:53Speaker 4: I cried a little bit.
- 0:54Speaker 1: It was did you cry in there? For real?
- 0:56Speaker 5: Yes?
- 0:56Speaker 4: Listen, Disney has to give those performers a raise because
- 0:59Speaker 4: they really so all the experience, Like there are moments
- 1:02Speaker 4: like when you take out your credit card, you're like, okay,
- 1:04Speaker 4: I'm not in the Star Wars universe.
- 1:05Speaker 3: It's broken.
- 1:06Speaker 4: But then they take you through like a dark tunnel
- 1:09Speaker 4: in a secret room and the lights change in their
- 1:11Speaker 4: sound effects. And I don't want to spoil it if
- 1:14Speaker 4: you're gonna go to Disney, but magic really happens in
- 1:18Speaker 4: that room, and then you leave with a joke ass lightsaber.
- 1:21Speaker 3: It's I already booked tickets to go back to Disney.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Joe, you should have seen Joelle and Daniel because Donald
- 1:29Speaker 1: has been thereazillion times. Take in the Star Wars World
- 1:32Speaker 1: these guys. It was amazing. I felt like I felt
- 1:35Speaker 1: like a proud parent watching my kids digest Disney for
- 1:39Speaker 1: the first time. It was amazing, magical. Seriously, I do
- 1:46Speaker 1: want to say that I was disappointed in the Spider
- 1:50Speaker 1: Man ride. Oh really, you guys weren't there when we
- 1:54Speaker 1: did the Spider Man Ride. No, but Donald your thought.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I know you're probably not gonna say anything negative about
- 1:59Speaker 1: it about the Marvel universe, but I didn't think the
- 2:01Speaker 1: ride lived up to any hype.
- 2:05Speaker 3: It was fun, it was the exact same.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's like they bought the Toy Story ride and just
- 2:13Speaker 1: re and rebranded it with different stuff.
- 2:17Speaker 3: The best the best ride in.
- 2:19Speaker 1: The changing the subject. You changed the subject.
- 2:22Speaker 3: It may still and always will be the Guardians of
- 2:26Speaker 3: the Galaxy ride.
- 2:27Speaker 6: Oh okay, so the Rise of the Resistance not Rise
- 2:31Speaker 6: of the Resistance.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, that's a great ride too, It's it's
- 2:35Speaker 3: but the best ride in the park still is Guardians
- 2:38Speaker 3: of the Galley.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You just see most geeked when you drive the Millennium Falcon.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That's when you came out.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Like, well, I was just trying to see how many
- 2:45Speaker 3: coaxium you guys got, and you guys only got one.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I got two.
- 2:49Speaker 4: You know, we don't know all thee We were not
- 2:51Speaker 4: the first people to drive the money.
- 2:54Speaker 3: There's there's no sequel.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you owned your skills.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I was one of I was, if not the first,
- 3:01Speaker 3: the second person to fly the Millennium Falcon at Disneyland, California.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I'm not necessarily supposed to tell anybody that, but I
- 3:08Speaker 3: did anyway.
- 3:09Speaker 4: And now the whole world knows.
- 3:11Speaker 2: The whole world knows.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Donald you.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I think I got in trouble for that too, because
- 3:15Speaker 3: I told everybody at celebration. They told me, and uh
- 3:19Speaker 3: and and Bobby moynihan, who also flew the Millennium Falcon
- 3:22Speaker 3: that day at celebration in Chicago, don't tell everybody that
- 3:27Speaker 3: you flew the Millennium Falcon. And I was like, okays,
- 3:30Speaker 3: why would they care? I walked out on stage at
- 3:33Speaker 3: the Star Wars show and I was like, I was
- 3:34Speaker 3: the first person to fly the Millennium Falcon.
- 3:40Speaker 1: What other things were really fun? How was how was
- 3:45Speaker 1: prise of the Resistance? We didn't Oh, we didn't get
- 3:47Speaker 1: to do it because it broke down. Apparently it's so
- 3:50Speaker 1: complicated that it breaks down a bunch. I was to
- 3:52Speaker 1: you serious, yeah, and I'm sure that. Wow, fine, but
- 3:56Speaker 1: it's very hard to get to get to get on it.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And then and then when we thought we had a slot,
- 4:00Speaker 1: it broke down. Wow.
- 4:02Speaker 6: Okay, well, Loki, I'm thankful that we we Then we
- 4:06Speaker 6: left when we did because I was thinking, I was,
- 4:08Speaker 6: you know, I wasn't going to pressure Drowell into this.
- 4:10Speaker 6: But as the time kind of ticked longer and longer,
- 4:12Speaker 6: I was like, Okay, we want to leave around four,
- 4:14Speaker 6: but we'll do rise the Assistance at four, then we'll go.
- 4:16Speaker 6: And when they said it's going to be closer to
- 4:17Speaker 6: five five thirty, I was thinking, maybe we can stay
- 4:20Speaker 6: another hour, but that's a long time. We're gonna hit
- 4:22Speaker 6: crazy traffic. On the way back, we get seven or eight.
- 4:25Speaker 6: It was it was so hot. It was the hottest
- 4:27Speaker 6: time I've ever been.
- 4:28Speaker 3: You guys, we would have been fine, it would have
- 4:30Speaker 3: been all good. But we made one critical era. What
- 4:35Speaker 3: was that we drank the margaritas. After the margharita, everybody
- 4:40Speaker 3: got tired. After the margaritas. Everybody was like, I'm ready
- 4:44Speaker 3: to go.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Second we got to cal the second we got to
- 4:47Speaker 1: California Adventure. Listen, I've barely been drinking. But the second
- 4:50Speaker 1: we got to Cali California Adventure in one hundred degree heat,
- 4:52Speaker 1: I saw the margaritas stand and I was like, we need.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Frozen, frozen margaritas now.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And then we had like a frozen margarita's and then
- 4:59Speaker 1: all of a sudd and him was like.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Oh, I want to go home.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I want to go home.
- 5:05Speaker 3: And my kid was so pissed off. My kid was like,
- 5:07Speaker 3: wait a second, we got two more hours, Dad, I
- 5:11Speaker 3: want to go to the.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Moment he was about to get on, uh, what's the
- 5:17Speaker 1: he was on Space Mountain and he felt we had
- 5:19Speaker 1: just eaten. So he was like his stomach was rumbling
- 5:21Speaker 1: and he's like, I can't do it. I can't do it.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Then they all went on Space Mountain. They came off
- 5:25Speaker 1: Rocco literally have a movie. Let's out a huge burp,
- 5:28Speaker 1: and he's like, Okay, I'm ready to go on Space Mountain.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I love it. Did that? Did Henry ride the in
- 5:37Speaker 3: credit coaster?
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yes?
- 5:39Speaker 3: Yes, My next Henry.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Had never been on an upside down roller coaster and uh,
- 5:45Speaker 1: and he finally conquered his fears and did it next
- 5:48Speaker 1: to Uncle Donald.
- 5:49Speaker 3: You know, the first time we I he ever went
- 5:52Speaker 3: to disney Land was with me and he was seven
- 5:56Speaker 3: years old, and uh, I tried to convince him to
- 6:01Speaker 3: get on the roller coaster which was then the California Screen,
- 6:05Speaker 3: and he said he didn't want to do it. All right,
- 6:08Speaker 3: flash cut too. Now I have a seven year old
- 6:13Speaker 3: and my seven year old is it was like, I'm
- 6:16Speaker 3: getting on this ride so to make up for missing
- 6:21Speaker 3: it when we were when you know, all these years ago,
- 6:25Speaker 3: fourteen years ago, I got to ride with Henry this time.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's amazing. That was sweet. By the way, the
- 6:31Speaker 1: funniest part of the day was I mean, there were
- 6:33Speaker 1: so many far new parts to day. I laughed my
- 6:34Speaker 1: ass off, but we bring Wilder Donald's little girl. How
- 6:37Speaker 1: old is she donald, She's six, She's six into the
- 6:41Speaker 1: Haunted mansion, and she's like not feeling it. And then
- 6:45Speaker 1: all of a sudden, we're in that first elevator part
- 6:48Speaker 1: and there's a giant like witch scream and Casey goes, oh, Joelle,
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm trying to convince Wilder that it was Joelle being silly.
- 7:00Speaker 4: I thought, okay, so I really did scream in there.
- 7:04Speaker 4: She was actually like, Joel is screaming.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I thought I was screaming.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Did you do a big witch cackle?
- 7:12Speaker 3: I did?
- 7:13Speaker 1: Oh, it was you. I totally miss read it. I
- 7:16Speaker 1: thought that was part of the ride, and then I
- 7:20Speaker 1: thought it was part of the ride and that Casey
- 7:21Speaker 1: was trying to soothe a Wilder I being like silly.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Joel, Joelle actually did it, actually did the scream.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Wait, we have to talk about Black Widow because I
- 7:33Speaker 1: don't know if you saw that. Some early like screenings
- 7:36Speaker 1: must have happened, because Florence Pugh was trending on Twitter today.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Oh really, and someone said get ready for the Marvel Puniverse.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Wow mc pu Yeah, I mean I guess. Check out
- 7:51Speaker 1: Indie wired Daniel and they had this whole article about
- 7:53Speaker 1: how Florence Pugh steals the movie. So, hell, I'm proud
- 7:56Speaker 1: of our girl. Surprise at all.
- 7:57Speaker 3: That's why the hired her.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Yeah, she's amazing. And by the way, so Carrie Brothers,
- 8:03Speaker 1: our friend, got tickets because he's like that for July
- 8:07Speaker 1: ninth when it comes out, and he says to me,
- 8:10Speaker 1: I got to Florence is gonna be out of town
- 8:13Speaker 1: because she's shooting a film. And he goes to Donald.
- 8:16Speaker 1: He's like, you want to be the fourth And I'm thinking, like,
- 8:18Speaker 1: Donald's gonna be able to go without Casey and like
- 8:20Speaker 1: the kids. He's like, hell, yeah, I want to be
- 8:22Speaker 1: the four. And me and Donald and Carrie and his
- 8:26Speaker 1: wife have a have a date for July ninth for
- 8:29Speaker 1: Black Women. I can't wait.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Very early screening.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Now the fingers crossed everybody.
- 8:36Speaker 1: It's season five, y'all. Let's let's get into it.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Six seven, eight, stories about sure we made about a
- 8:44Speaker 3: bunch of docs and nurses. He said, he's a story nell.
- 8:53Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, what musical is this from. I'm gonna
- 9:05Speaker 1: change the lyrics, but keep the tune.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Here we go, I got it. I already wait.
- 9:09Speaker 7: Dum dum.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Dud No, that wasn't it.
- 9:21Speaker 1: By the way, we walk into the Avengers part of
- 9:23Speaker 1: the Art of the World and they're cranking like different
- 9:25Speaker 1: scores from different movies, and Henry goes, Okay, that's aunt man.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And now I think they just went into Avengers end
- 9:32Speaker 1: game like you know, my nephew knows the different score moments.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Cool af Yeah.

- 9:45Speaker 1: ready season five, Season five? Who are you?
- 9:52Speaker 3: What have you?
- 9:53Speaker 1: Season five?
- 9:55Speaker 3: That's Jesus Christ Superstar.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Thank you, Joel Daniel Donald. You didn't get that?
- 10:00Speaker 6: No, No, I'm disappointed in you.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Did you get did you do? You know what mine is?
- 10:07Speaker 3: Sometime about this one? How about this one? It's now
- 10:10Speaker 3: season five of that show we call Hall Scrubs. It's
- 10:16Speaker 3: now season five of that show we call Whole Scrubs.
- 10:21Speaker 3: It's season five, season five. It's he's in five.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Okay, who were you doing that for? Was it Jess Weiss,
- 10:31Speaker 1: the our composer friend? You were like you Carrie's wife.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Jess is a composer and Donald was showing off to
- 10:38Speaker 1: her that he had the entire No.
- 10:40Speaker 2: They asked me to do it, and I did the
- 10:43Speaker 2: whole No.
- 10:43Speaker 1: But I thought like you do like like the cookie part,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but I was only went through like yeah, he was
- 10:48Speaker 1: doing like the like the de Neumont like Cello parts.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Dude, Donald, I did not spend time I got.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Back on the horse man I have the whole time
- 11:08Speaker 1: I was doing cheaper by the dozen. I was doing weights,
- 11:10Speaker 1: but not cardio, and man, I gotta tell you, it's uh,
- 11:15Speaker 1: it's hard to get back. It's a testament to how
- 11:18Speaker 1: far I made it because I tried for a second
- 11:20Speaker 1: to do where I was at and that was not
- 11:22Speaker 1: really doable.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I uh, you know, we walked Disneyland.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So that was our cardio.
- 11:29Speaker 3: No, And then the very next day I played golf.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Right after that, Oh wow, I played golf the next
- 11:34Speaker 3: day and walked another six miles. And today my legs
- 11:37Speaker 3: are a little, uh, they're a little worn out.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Little jelly. Yeah, but I gotta say, I will say
- 11:43Speaker 1: the good thing about Peloton is that it's kind of
- 11:46Speaker 1: like a ski mountain. You know, you can just do
- 11:48Speaker 1: it at whatever level you're at. And I was certainly
- 11:50Speaker 1: getting pretty darn good at it. Not Casey Cobb good,
- 11:53Speaker 1: but good. And today I was like, oof, back to
- 11:56Speaker 1: the bunny slopes. I gotta build back up.
- 11:59Speaker 3: I like that I'm doing it.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'm doing I'm putting in the hustle.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Donald, I'm gonna put in the work.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I'm putting in the hustle. I need you to join
- 12:05Speaker 1: me on the hustle.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I'm gonna put the work in with your peloton.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Not only am I got a peloton, I'm also gonna
- 12:11Speaker 3: lift weights too, though.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I wish you'd joined me at my gym. I
- 12:13Speaker 1: I send Donald pictures because I other than my girlfriend.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I can't only send progress shots to anyone because you know,
- 12:19Speaker 1: but I send them to Donald.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Dude, I'm gonna be honest with you. Uh oh, it's
- 12:25Speaker 3: a little it's a little gay, but.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Sending you my progress shots, I thought that.
- 12:29Speaker 3: You'd be it's nothing but you and like these really
- 12:32Speaker 3: tight shorts with your shirt off, and for some reason,
- 12:35Speaker 3: I get a weird boner.
- 12:36Speaker 1: So I just want if it shifts, it shifts, don't
- 12:39Speaker 1: deny what you're feeling.
- 12:40Speaker 3: I didn't deny it. I just said it just feels
- 12:43Speaker 3: a little gay. Okay, I'm okay with that. Does nothing
- 12:45Speaker 3: wrong with That's fine, dude.
- 12:47Speaker 1: We're all a little gay.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Everybody's gay in Hollywood shit right.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Listen, I remember what is it, the Kinsey scale, which
- 12:55Speaker 1: is the determines where on the straight gay spectrum you fall.
- 13:00Speaker 1: It's okay if you if your Kinsey scale moves donald
- 13:04Speaker 1: because you saw my abs.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Your abs are fucking fierce. Okay, you have fierce abs
- 13:10Speaker 3: right now.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I met you and McGregor, and my Kinsey scale just
- 13:13Speaker 1: blew up. It was like it was like.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Boy, it was no longer a scale.
- 13:18Speaker 3: It was just like it was like just a dot
- 13:20Speaker 3: with you. And it was like when you get on
- 13:21Speaker 3: the sea, when you get on the sea saw and
- 13:23Speaker 3: somebody jumps off when they're on the bottom and you're
- 13:25Speaker 3: crashing down.
- 13:26Speaker 1: That's what happened when I met you and McGregor.
- 13:29Speaker 3: He was like, hello, there, you like that, And I
- 13:32Speaker 3: was like, that's all right. Do you remember how it
- 13:37Speaker 3: was when we met Benjamin Bratt?
- 13:39Speaker 1: Do you remember that, Yeah, same thing, Sea sawce Sea
- 13:42Speaker 1: saw fell.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Dude.
- 13:43Speaker 3: We were grabbing each other's hands. We weren't slapping, we
- 13:47Speaker 3: were holding like it was like we were trying to
- 13:49Speaker 3: hold each other's heads like oh my god, oh my god,
- 13:52Speaker 3: it's all right.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Just let it happen. Let my abs wash over you.
- 13:55Speaker 3: If it moves and moves Donald, do you go every day?
- 13:59Speaker 1: No, I'm I'm during the movie. I was just going
- 14:02Speaker 1: when I could, and now I'm Now that I'm done
- 14:04Speaker 1: with the movie, I'm gonna. I'm committed to going three
- 14:06Speaker 1: times a week and then doing cardio on the two
- 14:08Speaker 1: days off.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Good for you, man, that's my.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Commitment to myself. And I'll hopefully sneaking in some tennis
- 14:12Speaker 1: with you, my friend. Okay, all right, let's talk about
- 14:16Speaker 1: TV show Scrubs. This is season five. Speaking of fit,
- 14:19Speaker 1: How fucking fit are you? In season five?
- 14:22Speaker 2: I lost some weight.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Bro, you look good. Do you remember what was going on?
- 14:26Speaker 1: You looked like Tay Diggs I had.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I had a new girlfriend. Uh, and I was trying
- 14:35Speaker 3: to keep up.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I guess I don't know what it was. I don't
- 14:38Speaker 2: know what happened.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Casey or a different one.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Season five is a different one. So yeah, it's it's Casey.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Oh a new one meaning Casey.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah it was Casey coming in.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Okay, all right, listen, we're attendings.
- 14:53Speaker 2: We are attending.
- 14:54Speaker 1: This episode was written and directed by the legendary showrunner
- 14:58Speaker 1: Bill Lawrence.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Very new things like the new new things that I
- 15:04Speaker 3: I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I was like, wait, this isn't a fantasy.
- 15:09Speaker 1: First of all, this is the ultimate example in all
- 15:12Speaker 1: nine years of Scrubs, the most egregious example of this
- 15:15Speaker 1: isn't a fantasy is in this episode.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you in a backpack.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I'm in a backpack and it's not a fantasy.
- 15:21Speaker 3: And then folding up with your feet by your face and.
- 15:23Speaker 1: It's not even it's not even a giant backpacking backpack.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It's like a school backpack.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and you fit inside of it. And that's how
- 15:31Speaker 3: we sneak into the movies, and that's how I sneak
- 15:34Speaker 3: you into my house, my apartment.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I should say, I know, and by the way, I
- 15:37Speaker 1: cracked up at it. But I just don't know why
- 15:38Speaker 1: Bill didn't just decide to flash out and make it
- 15:41Speaker 1: a fantasy, but he really stayed committed to it being
- 15:44Speaker 1: real life.
- 15:45Speaker 3: There's so many moments in this that are like that,
- 15:47Speaker 3: even with the cardboard cutouts, Get the heck out of here.
- 15:51Speaker 3: You hide in the cardboard cutout, You hide in the
- 15:54Speaker 3: cardboard cutout.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Amidst amidst amidst the cardboard cutout.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry, you hide a minced however, you say that
- 16:01Speaker 3: shit AMIDST.
- 16:02Speaker 1: You can't say amidst amidst.
- 16:05Speaker 3: The other you hid AMIDST.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Now, I don't know how to say it.
- 16:09Speaker 1: You were ami dst amidst.
- 16:13Speaker 3: You hid a midst.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Nice. He nailed it.
- 16:18Speaker 2: The cardboard cutouts.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I did. But that's believable, No, bro, Well what's not
- 16:23Speaker 1: what's not unbelievable is that the janitor went into a
- 16:26Speaker 1: copy room for thirty seconds, second comes out and was
- 16:30Speaker 1: able to make a cardboard cutout of me.
- 16:32Speaker 3: That and Turk dropping the birth control pill.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Oh my god. First of all, let's be real for
- 16:39Speaker 1: a second. Wouldn't a wife, a woman be fucking livid
- 16:44Speaker 1: on the verge of ending of marriage over there? No?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Not, unless I mean, if.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You're dosing her secretly with birth control bills.
- 16:52Speaker 3: It's clear that they didn't have a conversation about this baby.
- 16:55Speaker 3: She said she wants to have a baby, and he's like,
- 16:57Speaker 3: all right, fine, I'll do whatever you want to do.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Pretty much would happen.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Bro, you're hiding birth control pills in her food?
- 17:04Speaker 3: Yeah, because she said she wants to have sex. Listen,
- 17:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna tell you somebody now, making the baby is
- 17:08Speaker 3: a lot of fun. But once the baby is in there,
- 17:12Speaker 3: the sex stops. Man, it's over.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Women get really randy when they have a baby.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Every now and then, but not every day. Look you
- 17:18Speaker 3: heard what he said. In the last eight days, we
- 17:21Speaker 3: had sex twenty times. Do you know how much I
- 17:24Speaker 3: would love that if my wife for the next eight
- 17:27Speaker 3: days was like, we gonna fuck twenty times. We gonna
- 17:30Speaker 3: fuck twenty times in eight days, baby, So you better
- 17:33Speaker 3: get ready. Man, I'll be drinking all of the pineapple
- 17:37Speaker 3: juice I needed to drink. I would be doing anything.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I would be drinking red bulls, listen, anything and everything.
- 17:43Speaker 3: To fuck twenty times in eight days, that's a freaking
- 17:47Speaker 3: dream come true for me. I don't know about Joe.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Put that on a T shirt, Joel in the merch
- 17:51Speaker 1: Store quote quoth Donald Faison.
- 17:54Speaker 2: You want to quote that?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to put that on a T shirt.
- 17:57Speaker 3: That's a big That's a lot to put on a
- 17:59Speaker 3: T shirt. Dude, talk twenty times in eight days is
- 18:02Speaker 3: a dream come true for me. That's a lot of
- 18:04Speaker 3: words on a T shirt.
- 18:05Speaker 8: Bro.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, by the way, the other thing, not to
- 18:07Speaker 1: digress for a minute, but we talked about putting since
- 18:10Speaker 1: Donald's answer was so popular on Family Feud of an
- 18:13Speaker 1: alligator being the most helpful animal to get you out
- 18:16Speaker 1: of the zoo. We talked about some merch, Joelle, if
- 18:19Speaker 1: you could make this happen. We need someone to draw
- 18:22Speaker 1: an alligator helping people out of the zoo, and then
- 18:25Speaker 1: over the fence and on the back it's going to say.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Survey says, all right, well, Joe, Joelle, don't you think
- 18:36Speaker 1: that in real life if a woman was getting secretly
- 18:40Speaker 1: dosed by her husband with birth control pills, that she
- 18:43Speaker 1: would be a smidge and more upset than Carla was.
- 18:46Speaker 4: It's absolutely about to be a fight. It's absolutely because
- 18:49Speaker 4: that's hear of all your hormones.
- 18:51Speaker 3: It's all of them. What are you doing?
- 18:54Speaker 4: Yeah, if you wanted to have the conversation, you could
- 18:56Speaker 4: have brought it like it could have been like yo,
- 18:57Speaker 4: we got to talk about having his baby out out
- 18:59Speaker 4: here and said he was, well, if I just accidentally
- 19:01Speaker 4: choke you in the middle of the night with this pill.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Me tomorrow and then given it to me too, I didn't.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I don't know, and I'm eating the brownies. And then
- 19:11Speaker 1: Cox takes my urine sample in and finds out that
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'm it's positive for birth control.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Get pregnant. I'm trying to get pregnant.
- 19:25Speaker 1: So Elliott's moved to a new fancy hospital which is clearly,
- 19:28Speaker 1: very clearly just one nurses station of the hospital. They've
- 19:32Speaker 1: modern made look modern. It's it's our hospital. They just
- 19:35Speaker 1: like put some blue lights up and change the decor
- 19:37Speaker 1: a bit. Yes, And the episode opens with two big pratfalls,
- 19:41Speaker 1: one for me when i'm I fall down the hotel
- 19:45Speaker 1: I'm staying in steps and then Sarah falls for some
- 19:49Speaker 1: apparent reason entering her new hospital. And then I get caught, Yes,
- 19:55Speaker 1: and I have to hand over my driving sunglasses, driving scarf,
- 20:00Speaker 1: driving gloves. And then he looks at my crotch and
- 20:03Speaker 1: I go, here's your driving sock, and I pull the
- 20:06Speaker 1: sock out. I guess I was stuffing my jock to
- 20:09Speaker 1: make myself look girthier.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Well, they say, when you have a car like that, you're,
- 20:18Speaker 3: you know, compensating for something.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I don't think that's true, because I like sports cars
- 20:24Speaker 1: and I'm very happy with my peep.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Nothing like a nice girthy shaft in its natural element.
- 20:32Speaker 8: That.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. But you're saying that if you have
- 20:36Speaker 1: a girthy enough shaft, you're fine driving any car, and
- 20:40Speaker 1: that men's stereotypically with small peeps like a sports car.
- 20:43Speaker 1: That's what you're saying that you.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Agree with that, And I just isn't that like the.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Yes, that is a joke people say, like when they
- 20:50Speaker 1: see a Lamborghini go by, they go, he must have
- 20:53Speaker 1: a small penis or something.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Right, I thought that was the stereotype.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I was just it is.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I don't like it. I was trying a sports car. Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 1: all right, horse hospital, Okay, let's get into the hors hospital.
- 21:04Speaker 1: What about baggy cargo pants? Did you see the the
- 21:06Speaker 1: I used to rock these baggy ass cargo pants, and
- 21:10Speaker 1: they are really highlighted here in two thousand.
- 21:12Speaker 3: And six, I didn't notice them.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, when I'm when I'm taking out my uh
- 21:17Speaker 1: my driving sock.
- 21:20Speaker 3: You have seen some baggy cargo You see the pants.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Do you remember these pants that we all used to wear,
- 21:24Speaker 1: baggy ass cargo.
- 21:25Speaker 3: I do remember wearing baggy ass clothes and stuff like that,
- 21:28Speaker 3: but you know, I don't recall you wearing baggy ass cargo.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Pants, you know, with the wide leg, no no taper
- 21:34Speaker 1: at all, just like the wide ass all the way down.
- 21:38Speaker 1: You know, I still got them joints. I don't want
- 21:41Speaker 1: to give them up. Or whenever I put on my
- 21:43Speaker 1: cargo shorts, flows like no, no, no, no no no.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Yeah, my wife made me throw out my cargo shorts.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I don't have them anymore.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I still have one just for memory's sake.
- 21:53Speaker 3: And all my cargo pants that I loved are gone too.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Unfortunately, the janitor says to me, how depressing is
- 22:00Speaker 1: it being you.
- 22:03Speaker 2: That's fucked up?
- 22:03Speaker 1: That's so fucked up?
- 22:06Speaker 3: But then you'd say to him, you know, can you
- 22:08Speaker 3: I have a new intern coming in which leads to
- 22:12Speaker 3: probably one of your biggest monologues ever in the show's history.
- 22:16Speaker 1: That's true, and it's pretty funny whole. Yeah, rangers from
- 22:19Speaker 1: getting the reference to Catch twenty two wrong to trying
- 22:22Speaker 1: to go to fourteen ninety two. I'm trying to be
- 22:24Speaker 1: like Cox, you know, I'm trying to give them my
- 22:26Speaker 1: big Cox monologue.
- 22:28Speaker 3: You mean it's not it wasn't a fisherman who was
- 22:31Speaker 3: out at sea and twenty two fish.
- 22:33Speaker 1: No, that's not the plot of Catch twenty two.
- 22:35Speaker 3: That is the cat I thought it was. I was like, oh,
- 22:38Speaker 3: that's pretty clever real. Yeah, man, I'm a dummy man
- 22:41Speaker 3: when it goes to I said alligator would help out animals.
- 22:46Speaker 1: On the family feud, you also said California was a.
- 22:49Speaker 3: City that was just a brain part, that was just
- 22:51Speaker 3: a brain.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, but Steve Harvill, the judges gave it to you though.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I think it was a celebrity celebrity family feud leniency.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Okay, that's fine.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I know we won with it, and I'm happy and
- 23:02Speaker 1: we want. We gave a twenty five thousand dollars to charity. Yeah,
- 23:06Speaker 1: first stop aap, I hate.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I'm cool with that.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I'm just saying you did say California briefly.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Yeah, but I had a brain fart. It's all good.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It happens.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Hey, I have brain farts too that I couldn't think of.
- 23:17Speaker 1: What was the thing? Wreck? What's something in your life
- 23:19Speaker 1: that's a wreck?
- 23:20Speaker 3: Yeah? So wait, this is the episode, the whole episode
- 23:25Speaker 3: we don't see Keith, right, and then we come back
- 23:28Speaker 3: the next episode and is it Keith Yes, the one who.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Later becomes Keith Dudemeister.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Who becomes Elliott's boyfriend.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Yes, But a little bit of Scrubs wiki trivia from
- 23:41Speaker 1: the camera angle and from seeing his hands. He's nothing
- 23:45Speaker 1: like Keith.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Right, he doesn't even the hair when you mess up
- 23:48Speaker 2: his hair in his face.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I imagine they hadn't cast him yet, and so this
- 23:53Speaker 1: was a placeholder, got it? But yeah, that was that.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Was That was.
- 24:00Speaker 3: It was very interesting because I was like, I don't
- 24:03Speaker 3: if this is Keith one.
- 24:05Speaker 2: He doesn't sound like Keith.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I didn't know if it was
- 24:10Speaker 1: Bill or not. But it's just someone going heah oh.
- 24:16Speaker 2: And Keith never really comes off afraid when we meet
- 24:19Speaker 2: him later on or does he Am I missing something?
- 24:22Speaker 1: I don't know. I can tell you that Scrubs wiki
- 24:25Speaker 1: said something interesting. It said maybe it's inspired by a
- 24:31Speaker 1: Mash episode that was called point of View, which is
- 24:34Speaker 1: from the whole episodes from the eyes of an injured soldier.
- 24:38Speaker 1: And we know Bill loved Mash, so maybe it was
- 24:41Speaker 1: a homage to Mash.
- 24:43Speaker 3: That shit was hilarious. That coffee machine gag man where
- 24:47Speaker 3: Elliot's trying to fill the coffee and she runs to
- 24:49Speaker 3: the hospital to get the Foley cafit her and when
- 24:52Speaker 3: she gets back, the coffee is all down, running all
- 24:54Speaker 3: down the hallway. That shit hap me rolling out loud.
- 24:56Speaker 3: I laughed out loud at that one.
- 24:58Speaker 1: This was the era. Two thousand and six was when
- 25:00Speaker 1: I was like, we thought we were so cool because
- 25:02Speaker 1: we actually had a coffee robot on set. It was
- 25:04Speaker 1: like when those first things came out and we were
- 25:06Speaker 1: like a coffee robot and it just makes whatever you want.
- 25:10Speaker 1: It's too good to be true. We didn't realize what
- 25:12Speaker 1: shit coffee it was, but we were just geeked to
- 25:14Speaker 1: have it.
- 25:15Speaker 3: That shit was hilarious. The whole Turkish thing was hilarious.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Yes. JD apparently speaks Turkish fluently.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Yeah. And not only that, but uh, what was the
- 25:27Speaker 3: dude's name?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Omar?
- 25:29Speaker 3: Omar was a thief and was stealing your pudding without
- 25:34Speaker 3: you knowing about it. Yes, and we did a double
- 25:38Speaker 3: play on the word turk, the Turks. I'm really pissed off. Okay,
- 25:42Speaker 3: I'm getting really annoyed at the Turks right now, was
- 25:44Speaker 3: the first one. And he turns around. She goes, no,
- 25:47Speaker 3: not you, Omar, I mean these two. And then you go,
- 25:50Speaker 3: I'm really getting annoyed with the Turks right now, and
- 25:53Speaker 3: she goes, you too. Well, I don't know what she said,
- 25:55Speaker 3: but you're like, no, Omar, he's stealing my pudding. Very funny.
- 26:02Speaker 1: And then and then and then in Turkish, I that
- 26:06Speaker 1: is the language, right, Turkish, that's a belief. Daniel, you
- 26:09Speaker 1: seem like someone who would know that.
- 26:12Speaker 6: I appreciate the casual throws to me knowing everything, But
- 26:15Speaker 6: I'm saying, in.
- 26:16Speaker 1: My mind, you're you're in my mind you're even smarter
- 26:19Speaker 1: than you actually are.
- 26:20Speaker 6: I appreciate I talk with confidence about the things I
- 26:23Speaker 6: know a lot about and come off like I know everything.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I can't.
- 26:27Speaker 6: I really appreciate that, though I want it wrong, I
- 26:29Speaker 6: do want Wait, where's me?
- 26:30Speaker 1: You honor me? I can't even I haven't even used
- 26:32Speaker 1: you honor me in so long?
- 26:34Speaker 3: Fixed up?
- 26:36Speaker 1: You honor me?
- 26:37Speaker 3: You honor me? It works? Should we talk about how
- 26:40Speaker 3: JD bumps rush me?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Sorry, bro, let's talk about how you fake an orgasm
- 26:48Speaker 1: and it's like you have like a fucking full on
- 26:50Speaker 1: when Harry met Sally moment.
- 26:52Speaker 2: No, but they don't let me go for real.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Well they clearly they clearly that Oh, I can only
- 26:59Speaker 1: imagine what you must have done in outtakes.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Wait, you could do it here?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Don't encourage you?
- 27:06Speaker 3: Yes, I do, joel joel. I can't believe you.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I would like the record to reflect for any women
- 27:13Speaker 1: that are offended. I'd like the record to reflect that.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Joel requested that. She asked us, you're gonna need to
- 27:18Speaker 1: mix it down. I'm sure now right.
- 27:24Speaker 3: You're gonna get me there, aren't you? Zach?
- 27:26Speaker 7: I love you?
- 27:28Speaker 9: Oh my god, I'm sorry about the Oh my god,
- 27:41Speaker 9: he came again.
- 27:42Speaker 3: He came again, some for you, some for me.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 27:47Speaker 3: All right, the ultimate man. You know what, Joel, You're
- 27:58Speaker 3: welcome you, You're welcome.
- 27:59Speaker 1: You know I would say when that hit my forehead?
- 28:08Speaker 3: What would you say when I said to you, when
- 28:10Speaker 3: I said to you, Okay, I'm gonna try to come,
- 28:12Speaker 3: what would you say? Do or do not?
- 28:16Speaker 8: There?
- 28:16Speaker 1: No?
- 28:16Speaker 3: Try?
- 28:19Speaker 1: Oh my god. I can't believe we've done this on
- 28:21Speaker 1: the show. We'll probably have to cut that, but it's funny.
- 28:24Speaker 1: But you know, for the record, Joelle requested it.
- 28:27Speaker 3: She did request it. I think we should keep it.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You called me a honky adonnas.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yes, no, you call yourself a honky.
- 28:35Speaker 1: No you I'm saying that you called me a honky Yes,
- 28:39Speaker 1: And I'm quite doey this season. It doesn't look like
- 28:42Speaker 1: I've been to the gym at all. I was probably
- 28:44Speaker 1: having a very fun time off.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I season five.
- 28:48Speaker 3: At this I think we were all, you know, we
- 28:53Speaker 3: were finding new things that we.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Liked about, like eating and drinking.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Yeah, well, you know what you were in You are
- 29:00Speaker 3: in a if I recall correctly, you were in a relationship,
- 29:03Speaker 3: a very good relationship at this point. And so yes,
- 29:06Speaker 3: you know, you know what how it gets when you
- 29:08Speaker 3: fall in love and everything like that you start eating.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Is this the same season with Mandy. I think it
- 29:13Speaker 1: is the Mandy.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure it is.
- 29:17Speaker 3: This is when this is right around the time where
- 29:20Speaker 3: Rayden is starting to get traction. Also, you know what
- 29:23Speaker 3: I mean, like he's starting to.
- 29:25Speaker 1: He's starting to catch Fuega.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Well I don't know if he's starting to catch Fuego,
- 29:28Speaker 3: but you know he would he would have a night
- 29:31Speaker 3: at the hotel cafe. It wouldn't just be you know
- 29:34Speaker 3: what I mean, Like I feel like Carrie was the
- 29:37Speaker 3: one that brought everybody to the hotel cafe. Yes, and
- 29:41Speaker 3: then you know, and would always headline acts. But then
- 29:44Speaker 3: I think this is when Raydon started to break off
- 29:46Speaker 3: and do.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Raydon started to catch Fuego a bit, and that
- 29:51Speaker 1: was exciting to watch watch it happen.
- 29:54Speaker 3: I believe this is the season that that happened.
- 29:57Speaker 1: So it's revealed that I had to gnaw my way
- 30:00Speaker 1: out of said backpack to get out, because Carla says
- 30:04Speaker 1: that there was a hole in the.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Backpack and all of her change fell through it.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Yes, and the only way that I was able to
- 30:09Speaker 1: get out of the tiny backpack was that I had
- 30:11Speaker 1: to gnaw my way out, which.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Is like, this is this is I guess where Scrubs
- 30:18Speaker 3: gets really wacky all of a sudden.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Well, well, dude, we're about to do one of the
- 30:21Speaker 1: fucking ostriches that steal your hat. Is that this season?
- 30:24Speaker 3: It might be it could be it's either this whatever
- 30:29Speaker 3: season that we have the baby, so it could be
- 30:31Speaker 3: the next season we go.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Joe just said, Mandy's in the is in the is
- 30:36Speaker 1: in the poison episode my half acre? Is that what
- 30:38Speaker 1: you're saying, Joel episode nine of this season see and
- 30:41Speaker 1: she's also saying. Turkish, also referred to as Istambul, Turkish
- 30:46Speaker 1: or Turkey Turkish, is the most widely spoken of the
- 30:48Speaker 1: Turkic languages. So there you go. There's your trivia that
- 30:51Speaker 1: Daniel should have known well there you go. All right,
- 30:53Speaker 1: we need to take a break and we will be
- 30:55Speaker 1: right back with more of this show. Recap, rewatch, and.
- 31:05Speaker 3: We're back, and we're back.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Was it I'm gonna get you, sucker. It was a
- 31:10Speaker 1: Hollywood Shuffle.
- 31:11Speaker 2: That's Hollywood Shuffle?
- 31:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that movie. Do you think that movie
- 31:14Speaker 1: holds up?
- 31:15Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 31:16Speaker 1: We gotta watch that movie. We should do a remy.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Hey, you killed in my brother. I loved this, dude.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Baby, do you guys know this movie?
- 31:32Speaker 4: Daniel Jowell, I've not seen Hollywood Shuffle.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Oh my god, God, you guys have to watch Hollywood Rafe.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Robert Townsend, the Great Keenan Ivory Waynes, the Joel.
- 31:43Speaker 1: It will pair very nicely with jazz cabbage.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Can you know I'm about it.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 31:48Speaker 3: It's morally, it's amazing too. It all takes place like
- 31:53Speaker 3: in the early eighties when Eddie Murphy was the king
- 31:57Speaker 3: of what he did and his style of comedy was
- 32:02Speaker 3: reigning supreme, and how everybody wanted black people to be
- 32:06Speaker 3: like Eddie Murphy on auditions and stuff like that.
- 32:10Speaker 2: And one of the words that.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Is used in this, which was used a lot back
- 32:16Speaker 3: in the day, was hey, man, do you think maybe
- 32:19Speaker 3: you could do that just a little bit?
- 32:20Speaker 2: Blacker? Oh, Hollywood shuffle?
- 32:26Speaker 1: Was that said to you Donald? Ever?
- 32:28Speaker 2: Everybody?
- 32:29Speaker 3: I think if you were acting in the early eighties
- 32:32Speaker 3: late nineties, somebody tried to figure out a way to
- 32:36Speaker 3: say that to you without saying it. If they did
- 32:38Speaker 3: say it, you know, wow. But if they did, they
- 32:41Speaker 3: would be like, yo, could you jazz it up or something?
- 32:43Speaker 3: Or maybe you know that thing put that thing, that thing,
- 32:46Speaker 3: that thing, that's your street?
- 32:47Speaker 1: They say like, can you a little more street?
- 32:50Speaker 2: Right, Moore street?
- 32:51Speaker 3: More street?
- 32:53Speaker 1: What was that from?
- 32:54Speaker 2: That was?
- 32:55Speaker 3: If that was if Evie from Small Wonder was a
- 32:58Speaker 3: racist director, Donald, could you do that again?
- 33:02Speaker 2: More street?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, that is a deep cut joke.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Or if Evie was a racist director Evie from Small
- 33:11Speaker 3: Wonder was a racist director and she was like Donald
- 33:15Speaker 3: one more time, Blacker.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, that is a deep cut joke. It
- 33:25Speaker 1: was one of our odd set jokes. Right, you gotta know,
- 33:28Speaker 1: you gotta know who ev from Small Wonder is. But
- 33:30Speaker 1: a lot of these children listening don't know.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Small Come on.
- 33:34Speaker 1: There was a called Small Wonder and it was the
- 33:37Speaker 1: really really bad sitcom. But the premise was that the
- 33:40Speaker 1: dad had built a robot daughter daughter, and she looked
- 33:44Speaker 1: like a human, but she was a robot.
- 33:45Speaker 3: And talked like robot, and she had special powers.
- 33:48Speaker 2: She talked like a robot.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Yes, Donald mar Street.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Donald, do that again this time blacker.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Anyway, you guys got to watch Hollywood Shuffle. It's it's
- 34:09Speaker 1: Donald says. It holds up. I haven't seen years, but
- 34:11Speaker 1: start making.
- 34:11Speaker 4: A list of all the movies you say we should watch,
- 34:13Speaker 4: and that's gonna be watch.
- 34:14Speaker 1: It is a big it is a big satire like that.
- 34:18Speaker 1: It's a big satire of the film industry from the
- 34:21Speaker 1: perspective of a of a young black filmmaker, Robert Townsend,
- 34:25Speaker 1: who just it was. I think it was one of
- 34:27Speaker 1: his earliest films, right.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Donald, dude, Yeah, yeah, he made the movie credit Cards. Yeah, dude,
- 34:33Speaker 3: Like literally, he took his credit He used his credit
- 34:36Speaker 3: cards to make this movie. Yeah. Don't you remember Homeboys
- 34:41Speaker 3: on film where they're in the movie theater and they're
- 34:44Speaker 3: they're they're instead of Cisco and Ebert, it's two brothers
- 34:47Speaker 3: from the neighborhood and they're giving you what they like
- 34:50Speaker 3: about what movies they liked and everything like that.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I forgot that part.
- 34:54Speaker 3: And they oh, man, the one with dirty they do
- 34:57Speaker 3: one with Dirty Harry. You know, I remember it's like
- 35:00Speaker 3: we give that one the finger. And then there's the
- 35:03Speaker 3: one where it's Indiana Jones and it's like, uh, he goes.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I thought it was I thought it sucked, but he
- 35:10Speaker 3: liked it. That bullshit. You don't remember that, no.
- 35:13Speaker 1: No, but I remember really laughing and thinking Robert Townsend
- 35:16Speaker 1: was a genius.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Yeah, he is a genius.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Man like him, Eddie Murphy and Keenan Ivy Wayne's when
- 35:22Speaker 3: they when the three of them were together, they were unstoppable, man,
- 35:25Speaker 3: Like that was like the dynamic trio. That was like
- 35:28Speaker 3: the one the three of them together, they all all
- 35:31Speaker 3: three of them worked together. Yeah, and they were I.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Mean telling me, you would tell me that there was
- 35:38Speaker 1: a lot of collaboration I didn't know about between those guys.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Yeah. Man, that was like the that was the crew,
- 35:45Speaker 3: and you know, they were all just so funny. It
- 35:48Speaker 3: was like imagine having the three funniest people on the
- 35:51Speaker 3: planet at the time working together, and that's what that was.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Did I tell my story? Remind me if I told you
- 35:56Speaker 1: the story in the podcast where my brother and I
- 35:58Speaker 1: were pitching to this like old white woman producer a
- 36:03Speaker 1: script and she goes, you know, you could go black
- 36:07Speaker 1: with it, and we're like, sure, yeah, that there's no
- 36:12Speaker 1: reason why I couldn't be an African American story. And
- 36:15Speaker 1: she goes, you know, they're doing that thing, and she
- 36:22Speaker 1: moved her arms like this, I'm moving them back and forth,
- 36:25Speaker 1: and she kind of scrunched up. She scrunched up her
- 36:27Speaker 1: face and she's like, you know, they're doing that thing.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I never forget.
- 36:33Speaker 3: I never want her to pitch a movie.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I never forgot that.
- 36:39Speaker 3: She should never ever pitch a movie for you ever.
- 36:42Speaker 1: No, we were pitching a movie to her, and her
- 36:44Speaker 1: response was.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Well, yeah, cause she's gonna take this to her boss
- 36:48Speaker 3: and be like, you know, so I think I got
- 36:50Speaker 3: them to go black with it.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Yeah, they're gonna go black with it, you know, because
- 36:53Speaker 1: we can get them doing that thing.
- 36:57Speaker 4: I wonder what she was trying to imitate, because I
- 36:59Speaker 4: can't tell if it's like, is it a basketball move?
- 37:02Speaker 1: No, I think I think it was. I think it
- 37:04Speaker 1: was they were strutting down the street and being fun
- 37:06Speaker 1: with the arms arm walk. Okay, yeah, got it, that
- 37:15Speaker 1: makes but doing it all right now? I laughed out loud,
- 37:20Speaker 1: very hard. When you see JD in my tidy whities
- 37:24Speaker 1: side stepping out of the apartment and then you guys
- 37:28Speaker 1: catch me and go just can to take a quick
- 37:29Speaker 1: Tuesday quick?
- 37:34Speaker 2: That was very funny.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Yeah, man, there was the episode started off where I
- 37:39Speaker 3: was like, this doesn't feel like Scrubs at all, really,
- 37:42Speaker 3: and then as it went on, it was like, this
- 37:44Speaker 3: is when Scrubs gets wacky. They gets way.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I mean, we literally have an ostrich that we have it.
- 37:50Speaker 1: We get tried by ostriches. They steal Donald's cano and
- 37:54Speaker 1: they run around with it and then they we can't
- 37:57Speaker 1: come down because they're working in shifts as sent Yeah,
- 38:04Speaker 1: that was the Jason Bateman episode. But he makes he
- 38:06Speaker 1: makes them into belts, He makes theirs theirs in.
- 38:09Speaker 3: The belt, He makes their next.
- 38:12Speaker 1: And what season is that? Is that? This season? I
- 38:15Speaker 1: think it is, Oh my goodness, this season's gonna be Yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 1: this season's gonna be wacky as hell. You can tell
- 38:22Speaker 1: we're amped up though, Donald, We're geeked. We came in
- 38:24Speaker 1: all hot, We came in like raring to go.
- 38:26Speaker 3: I think you know what, I think, like, either we
- 38:29Speaker 3: worked during the summer or if we didn't work. We
- 38:32Speaker 3: definitely partied hard during the summer, like we were.
- 38:35Speaker 1: My doings suggests that I probably partied well.
- 38:38Speaker 3: All I'm saying is we were ready to We were
- 38:40Speaker 3: ready to go back and be as like we we
- 38:43Speaker 3: are definitely feeling ourselves in the beginning. Yes, I agree,
- 38:47Speaker 3: you know, like we're the acting is really big, you.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Know, we're we're we're like we're like racehorses or that
- 38:54Speaker 1: were kept in the stable and we're like, we're fucking let's.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Go right, we come out swinging.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Joel, is there a guest today?
- 39:02Speaker 3: There is?
- 39:03Speaker 1: And they're here. All right, we'll be right back after
- 39:05Speaker 1: these fun words. Rememb're back.
- 39:14Speaker 2: We are back.
- 39:15Speaker 1: All right, let's go to a caller, Joel. That's always
- 39:17Speaker 1: a fun segment. I kind of I kind of like
- 39:19Speaker 1: it when they're when they're really nutty. We might need
- 39:21Speaker 1: to get more people that have open relationships, and that's good.
- 39:26Speaker 3: I do like to have conversations that make people just
- 39:30Speaker 3: a little uncomfortable.
- 39:32Speaker 1: I like something that would make Bill hide under a
- 39:34Speaker 1: ted last flat. By the way, La is covered in
- 39:38Speaker 1: ted Lastow billboards. Have you noticed this everywhere they're spending
- 39:41Speaker 1: that money?
- 39:43Speaker 2: Good Man, good it's a hit show.
- 39:45Speaker 1: How funny was it When Steve Harvey was about Bill
- 39:48Speaker 1: was like, make that money and he started doing the
- 39:50Speaker 1: money gesture.
- 39:51Speaker 3: We got a collea.
- 39:56Speaker 6: Talk, you know, like a.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Maybe the episode, So let's get the show.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Give it up for Travis because.
- 40:19Speaker 8: Hi, Travis, Hi, Zach Hi.
- 40:22Speaker 1: This is Donald Faison, Joel Monique and DJ Jannell.
- 40:26Speaker 2: What's happening to Travis?
- 40:28Speaker 8: Hey, Don Donald? You go by Don or Donald Donald?
- 40:32Speaker 2: Usually?
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no one whoever calls you Don, is there? Donald?
- 40:35Speaker 1: You never became a Don.
- 40:37Speaker 3: There are a few people out there that are out
- 40:39Speaker 3: there to call me Don.
- 40:40Speaker 8: Really, who are I'm not one of them?
- 40:42Speaker 1: Well, you just met him, and I haven't reached Don's status.
- 40:46Speaker 8: Have you reached Don status? There?
- 40:48Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I just went to the most enduring term for the
- 40:52Speaker 1: closest of his inner circle.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Which is wait.
- 40:56Speaker 1: No stops. Okay. I know it's gonna happen in public,
- 41:00Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be so bummed out when someone calls
- 41:02Speaker 1: me twis. He almost did it at Disneyland. That was hilarious,
- 41:05Speaker 1: I know. And then he switched to teeears because it
- 41:07Speaker 1: was inappropriate. He yelled twat. So he was like, teeears,
- 41:09Speaker 1: get back here. What about when you fun you ran
- 41:14Speaker 1: into Frozone. Donald, you had a whole.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Scene my Frozone. You got your super suit fro Zone.
- 41:19Speaker 3: I got super Zone.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I got to post that video. You are so funny.
- 41:24Speaker 1: And then Frozene couldn't talk because he's in a suit.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I was like, I could have watched Donald and Frozene
- 41:28Speaker 1: talk for like a half hour.
- 41:30Speaker 3: The best moment was getting off the Millennium Falcon ride
- 41:32Speaker 3: with my kids and uh, your kid from a cheaper
- 41:36Speaker 3: by the dozen, Yeah, and Chewy talking to us and
- 41:40Speaker 3: actually being able to understand what Chewy was saying because.
- 41:44Speaker 1: He was doing sign language. You understood it.
- 41:46Speaker 3: No, he wasn't doing sign language. He was asking us
- 41:48Speaker 3: if we flew the Falcon. He asked us how we did.
- 41:51Speaker 3: I told him I messed up the ship a little bit.
- 41:54Speaker 3: He then said to me, don't worry. I can fix it.
- 41:56Speaker 3: But you know what I mean. Like, but I knew
- 42:00Speaker 3: that he was saying, and I was like, holy cow,
- 42:02Speaker 3: all of these years of watching Star Wars, I definitely
- 42:04Speaker 3: speak Wookie.
- 42:05Speaker 8: Now Donald, I actually have I can actually do it. Chewbacca,
- 42:09Speaker 8: let's hear it.
- 42:13Speaker 1: That's pretty good, all right.
- 42:15Speaker 8: I don't think he depressed.
- 42:18Speaker 1: No good, all right, Travis, welcome to the problem. Where
- 42:24Speaker 1: are you calling from?
- 42:25Speaker 8: Dallas, Texas?
- 42:29Speaker 2: Texas?
- 42:30Speaker 1: Hello Texas folks. We love you all you Texans. Travis.
- 42:34Speaker 1: What's your question for us today?
- 42:36Speaker 8: So my first question was, you know, they say never
- 42:40Speaker 8: to meet your heroes, and I'm kind of doing that
- 42:42Speaker 8: right now, but I would want to know when is
- 42:45Speaker 8: a moment that you guys have met somebody that you've
- 42:47Speaker 8: looked up to or doesn't necessarily have to be a hero,
- 42:50Speaker 8: but they were better than they expect than you expected
- 42:52Speaker 8: them to be better than we Yeah, their generosity.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Tis that's happened a couple.
- 42:58Speaker 1: That's a good question. I'm glad you and I the oposite,
- 43:00Speaker 1: because we couldn't really say that about someone. We wouldn't
- 43:02Speaker 1: when I speak ill of anyone.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Whenever I met Eddie Murphy, he was very very comp
- 43:06Speaker 3: you know, he was always very nice and gave a
- 43:10Speaker 3: lot of compliments, you know, to me and my family
- 43:13Speaker 3: every time I've met him, and that is a hero
- 43:17Speaker 3: of mine, and I was nervous that he wouldn't be
- 43:20Speaker 3: like that. Denzel Washington the same thing you know when
- 43:23Speaker 3: we were working together. You know, when I was working
- 43:25Speaker 3: with Denzel Uh, he very much was the character he
- 43:29Speaker 3: played in Uh and remember the Titans. He stuck to it,
- 43:34Speaker 3: but once it was over. Every time, I mean, I
- 43:36Speaker 3: remember one time I was walking down the street in
- 43:37Speaker 3: Hollywood and Denzel drove by and stopped his car and
- 43:42Speaker 3: rolled down the window to talk to me.
- 43:44Speaker 2: You know what I mean, He like hollered at me
- 43:46Speaker 2: while I was walking.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Hey, Donald and I look in the car and it's
- 43:50Speaker 3: Denzel in the car, and I was like, Yo, dude,
- 43:52Speaker 3: what is it? You know?
- 43:53Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 43:54Speaker 3: So like every time I've every time I've had the
- 43:57Speaker 3: opportunity to meet one of my rose, it's been that way.
- 44:01Speaker 3: The only hero that I haven't met, a hero of
- 44:04Speaker 3: mine that I haven't met, is Harrison Ford. Believe it
- 44:06Speaker 3: or not, I've never met him.
- 44:09Speaker 2: I'm scared to meet him too.
- 44:10Speaker 3: I'm gonna be I'm gonna be honest with you because
- 44:12Speaker 3: that is where those moment, that's one of those.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Moments that cloud to join and he'll be your best friend.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Well I hope that would happen, or it could be
- 44:19Speaker 3: he's like, get the fuck out of here.
- 44:22Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think he would be rude
- 44:24Speaker 1: to you. My answer is Bobby d Bobby Deed's aniro.
- 44:28Speaker 1: I looked up to him my whole life. I used
- 44:30Speaker 1: to intern at the Tribecca Film Center, which he created
- 44:34Speaker 1: and runs in New York. And I remember I was
- 44:36Speaker 1: an intern and I saw him get in the elevator
- 44:38Speaker 1: once and I was like, I'd never even seen a
- 44:42Speaker 1: celebrity of that magnitude before. And then cut to, you know,
- 44:47Speaker 1: a little over a year ago, and I'm starring in
- 44:49Speaker 1: a movie with him, and which is coming out, by
- 44:52Speaker 1: the way, Which is coming out, by the.
- 44:54Speaker 8: Way, July twenty third, isn't it July.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Twenty third, the Comeback tra So if you're on your
- 45:02Speaker 1: phone right now, put it in your eyekel you know,
- 45:05Speaker 1: third and go ahead. And he was just so cool,
- 45:09Speaker 1: you know. I I I can't speak enough to how
- 45:14Speaker 1: how instantly we were friends and talking about so much stuff.
- 45:18Speaker 1: And then he invited me and Florence over his house
- 45:21Speaker 1: for dinner, and that was the most surreal experience of
- 45:24Speaker 1: my life. And we text to this day all the time.
- 45:28Speaker 1: And I just cannot believe that I'm friends with Robert
- 45:30Speaker 1: de Niro because he's one of my favorite actors of
- 45:34Speaker 1: all time and and so yeah, the moment I was
- 45:37Speaker 1: in his massage chair in his house and Florence and
- 45:39Speaker 1: I were giggling. I was like, this is pretty crazy.
- 45:42Speaker 3: So I have two more people that I should probably
- 45:45Speaker 3: I had Donald. So when I met Robert de Niro,
- 45:48Speaker 3: I was a kid and.
- 45:50Speaker 1: I get on my de Niro.
- 45:52Speaker 3: I gotta do that.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Well, then I tell you about the time that I
- 45:54Speaker 1: hung out with Denzel.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Okay, and I was doing and I was He had
- 45:58Speaker 3: me do the table reading for Bronxtail, A Bronxtail, and
- 46:03Speaker 3: then I auditioned for a bronx Tail. I didn't get
- 46:05Speaker 3: the movie, which you know kind of sucked, But I
- 46:09Speaker 3: remember going on the audition. I remember going to the
- 46:12Speaker 3: table read and meeting everybody. It seemed like from a
- 46:15Speaker 3: Scorsese film was there, like all of the actors, and
- 46:20Speaker 3: I remember that was one and everybody was mad cool.
- 46:22Speaker 3: But the one time where it was like, maybe I
- 46:25Speaker 3: shouldn't do it because everybody tells me not to do
- 46:28Speaker 3: it was Bill Murray audition.
- 46:32Speaker 8: I want to meet him so bad.
- 46:33Speaker 3: At an audition, he walked out of the of the
- 46:37Speaker 3: room and people I remember people telling me, if you
- 46:39Speaker 3: ever meet Bill Murray, don't say anything to him. He
- 46:42Speaker 3: doesn't like that shit. And he walked out and everybody
- 46:46Speaker 3: gets quiet and doesn't say anything. And I was like, this,
- 46:49Speaker 3: this might be the only time I ever get to
- 46:51Speaker 3: meet this guy. Even if he yells at me, I'll
- 46:53Speaker 3: take it. And I go, hey, Bill, and he turns around.
- 46:57Speaker 3: I go, man, I really loved Groundhole day. And he
- 47:01Speaker 3: looks at me and he goes, thanks kid, thank you
- 47:03Speaker 3: so much, and then gets in the elevator and leaves.
- 47:07Speaker 3: And that just made my day, the fact that he
- 47:10Speaker 3: was like.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Fucked you.
- 47:14Speaker 8: He might have muttered that to himself in the elevator,
- 47:16Speaker 8: but ye, but still you.
- 47:18Speaker 3: I love.
- 47:20Speaker 8: Have you seen the Netflix movie about meeting Bill Murray
- 47:24Speaker 8: where he'll just show up at like random parties, And
- 47:27Speaker 8: like he showed up at some party in London. He
- 47:29Speaker 8: was like doing their dishes and he'd like go up
- 47:32Speaker 8: and like eat somebody, eat something off of somebody's plate,
- 47:35Speaker 8: and he said, I dare you to tell somebody no,
- 47:37Speaker 8: no one will ever believe you, and they'll just walk off.
- 47:40Speaker 3: He's amazing like that man, like he is, he is
- 47:43Speaker 3: a legend, like he is an ultimate legend, like the
- 47:46Speaker 3: fact that I don't know if this is true or not,
- 47:49Speaker 3: but there's a number that you call if you want
- 47:51Speaker 3: him to be in a movie, and if he's and
- 47:53Speaker 3: if he decides he wants to do it, he just
- 47:56Speaker 3: does it.
- 47:58Speaker 1: I got it. I got it from a director because
- 48:00Speaker 1: I was thinking about trying to offer him something.
- 48:02Speaker 8: And I don't know if you can see this, but wow, he's.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Got T shirt. That's cool T shirt.
- 48:10Speaker 8: My wife loves that shirt, loves it.
- 48:13Speaker 1: All right, what's your next question, my friend?
- 48:16Speaker 8: So I would like to know, Uh, oh, I want
- 48:19Speaker 8: to give your girlfriend a compliment, Zach, go ahead. I
- 48:22Speaker 8: love her voice and I could listen to her read
- 48:24Speaker 8: a phone book.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Yeah, she has a very very very instinct thing and
- 48:29Speaker 1: most people don't know this about her. She has an
- 48:33Speaker 1: incredible singing voice. She was before Florence broke with her
- 48:37Speaker 1: first film. She was kind of deciding whether to pursue
- 48:40Speaker 1: the singer songwriter route or the acting route. Obviously she
- 48:43Speaker 1: wanted to do both, and then she got a film
- 48:45Speaker 1: and blew up. But she is an incredible singer as well.
- 48:52Speaker 8: My second question, so I wanted to know, like, if
- 48:54Speaker 8: you were going to submit like a scene or a
- 48:57Speaker 8: monologue or something from anything that you've done, like scrub
- 49:00Speaker 8: or a movie or whatever. For like, say it's like
- 49:03Speaker 8: an Oscar reel. What from your body of work would
- 49:06Speaker 8: you submit? And what would you submit from each other's
- 49:11Speaker 8: body work? Like zactly, what would you put from Donald's
- 49:13Speaker 8: body work?
- 49:13Speaker 1: That's a great question. I'd put Donald doing the poison dance.
- 49:19Speaker 1: I'd obviously put his classic scene with Denzel. Oh, yeah,
- 49:24Speaker 1: I would. I definitely put Donald in the car getting
- 49:28Speaker 1: on the highway and clueless.
- 49:33Speaker 2: I would put all of Garden State up.
- 49:37Speaker 1: You can't put up the whole movie Donald.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Okay, so you're saying because you.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Can't remember individual scenes.
- 49:42Speaker 3: No, that's not true. But I would put all of
- 49:47Speaker 3: Garden State up. I would put I would try and
- 49:51Speaker 3: throw his name in the hat for director as well,
- 49:54Speaker 3: because I think he's one of my favorite directors. When
- 49:58Speaker 3: I know when he does something, if I'm in it,
- 50:01Speaker 3: I'm gonna fucking be good, you know what I mean?
- 50:03Speaker 3: Because he has a great knact for communication with actors
- 50:08Speaker 3: and thank you. Let me see. I don't know, man,
- 50:11Speaker 3: I don't know. He has a lot of things that
- 50:14Speaker 3: are very good. I and and whole bodies, like, he's
- 50:18Speaker 3: a great storyteller. So I would have to put all
- 50:20Speaker 3: of Garden State. I'd have to put all of which
- 50:22Speaker 3: I was here, I'd have to put like I.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Keep cut that you don't know And it's from Last Kiss,
- 50:28Speaker 1: and it's one of my favorite scenes that ever been
- 50:30Speaker 1: in and it's me and Tom Wilkinson on the front porch.
- 50:33Speaker 3: On the porch, Yeah, but he's great in that scene too.
- 50:36Speaker 3: He's really great.
- 50:37Speaker 1: He drives the scene. I just went when he asked
- 50:39Speaker 1: this question, I've never it's a very good question. I
- 50:41Speaker 1: haven't thought about it, and my brain went, you know,
- 50:45Speaker 1: your brain just automatically. You know, there's obviously the things
- 50:47Speaker 1: I'm most known for, but my brain went to that
- 50:50Speaker 1: scene when Tom Wilkinson is something I thought was special.
- 50:53Speaker 8: Like he said, did you actually do this thing that
- 50:55Speaker 8: she's accusing you of doing? And that's where he says that,
- 50:59Speaker 8: and then he said.
- 51:00Speaker 1: He says a great quote, which is something that if
- 51:02Speaker 1: I'm paraphrasing, but it's something like it's it doesn't matter
- 51:06Speaker 1: what you say, it's what you do to the people
- 51:09Speaker 1: who love you that matters. What you say means nothing,
- 51:12Speaker 1: it's what you actually do something like that.
- 51:14Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 51:14Speaker 1: It's really powerful.
- 51:15Speaker 2: It's a very great cast.
- 51:19Speaker 1: All right, it's time for Texas's favorite segment.
- 51:21Speaker 3: Everybody Dallas, Texas is favorite segment show.
- 51:25Speaker 1: It's time too, bitch, Travis, how can we fix your life?
- 51:34Speaker 1: We're here to help you.
- 51:35Speaker 8: My question was that, ever since I had a kid,
- 51:40Speaker 8: I've noticed that, like the relationship that I've had that
- 51:42Speaker 8: I have with my friends that don't have kids has
- 51:45Speaker 8: kind of changed, and you know, my priorities have changed,
- 51:48Speaker 8: and I've noticed that, you know, it turns intottension and
- 51:53Speaker 8: things like that. And I was wondering how the two
- 51:57Speaker 8: of you has y'all's relationship changed since I guess, has
- 52:02Speaker 8: Donald had kids the entire time? Or how do you
- 52:04Speaker 8: guys navigate that with Zach not having kids and Donald
- 52:08Speaker 8: having kids?
- 52:09Speaker 2: Part of the show.
- 52:10Speaker 1: There she is, Hi, guys, Hi beautiful, that's Travis and
- 52:16Speaker 1: Casey Hi. And Travis was just asking how we navigate
- 52:21Speaker 1: our friendship when y'all have all these kids and I
- 52:24Speaker 1: have none? How we do it because I'm so free
- 52:28Speaker 1: and don't have any responsibilities in the children department, but
- 52:31Speaker 1: y'all have like thirty seven and he's from Dallas, Texas,
- 52:35Speaker 1: So be extra nice.
- 52:37Speaker 5: Oh hi, Well, for just to give an example of
- 52:41Speaker 5: how out of touch Zach is with having kids. We
- 52:47Speaker 5: you know, we've been friends with Zach for I've been
- 52:49Speaker 5: friends with Zach for fifteen years and our oldest is
- 52:52Speaker 5: almost eight and two days ago was the first time
- 52:55Speaker 5: he's taken us to Disney Let us go to Disneyland
- 52:58Speaker 5: with our kids.
- 53:00Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, we know. I think Zach's just
- 53:04Speaker 10: kind of coming around now. You know.
- 53:07Speaker 1: I love your kids when I'm with them.
- 53:10Speaker 10: Hey, I get it. If I didn't have kids, I
- 53:12Speaker 10: wouldn't want to hang out with kids.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Well, sometimes we go to Disneyland and it's an adult
- 53:16Speaker 1: trip to Disneyland. Joelle's nodding she knows.
- 53:19Speaker 3: Yes.
- 53:19Speaker 1: And sometimes sometimes you bring the rug rats because they
- 53:22Speaker 1: slow ship down. Yeah, but they're tiny legs.
- 53:25Speaker 10: First time we brought the rug rats was two days ago.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:31Speaker 5: No, I think he's just kind of meeting us in
- 53:33Speaker 5: the middle. We're you know, we try. We like to
- 53:35Speaker 5: have adult time with Zach because you know, that's it
- 53:39Speaker 5: was like that for so long. So Zach, I love you,
- 53:42Speaker 5: Oh God, Zacha love you.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Calm down.
- 53:51Speaker 3: We have a guest here.
- 53:51Speaker 1: It's not appropriate.
- 53:52Speaker 10: I should charge people for that.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Yeah, make it a ringtone, Joel, you make Zach I
- 53:56Speaker 1: love you a ring tone.
- 53:58Speaker 8: You need to be on cameo.
- 54:00Speaker 1: No, we're not gonna be on cameo. Casey, you on cameo.
- 54:04Speaker 5: But you know, I think it's I think we have
- 54:06Speaker 5: to do just as much as Zach does as far
- 54:08Speaker 5: as meeting in the middle, because I really I think
- 54:12Speaker 5: I'm very conscious of it. If it was up to Donald,
- 54:14Speaker 5: Donald would be like, well, fuck it. If we can't
- 54:16Speaker 5: bring our kids, we're never going to go anywhere. And
- 54:18Speaker 5: I still I still like to go places without my
- 54:21Speaker 5: kids because I had such a fun life before kids,
- 54:26Speaker 5: as much as it is fun.
- 54:27Speaker 1: But you guys, you know, you were worried. We were
- 54:28Speaker 1: having a barbecue and you said, should we bring the
- 54:30Speaker 1: kids or not? And You're like, they're going to be loud,
- 54:32Speaker 1: and I was like, it's a barbecue, have them swim,
- 54:33Speaker 1: who cares? And they had an amazing time.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:35Speaker 10: Well they're also older now.
- 54:37Speaker 5: They're at the age now of you know understanding that
- 54:41Speaker 5: Uncle Zach gets really pissed off if you scream.
- 54:43Speaker 1: So they know, no, not pissed off. I just have
- 54:47Speaker 1: a no screeching policy, and Casey's like, Casey's like, I
- 54:51Speaker 1: just decided if it comes from Uncle Zac, it might
- 54:53Speaker 1: stick better than if mom is like, keep it down,
- 54:55Speaker 1: keep it down. I was like, guys, do whatever you want.
- 54:58Speaker 1: There's no high pitched screaming.
- 55:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:02Speaker 5: One of them, one of them actually raised their voice
- 55:03Speaker 5: in the pool, and Zack said, Yo.
- 55:05Speaker 3: It's a little too loud, but don't you want it.
- 55:09Speaker 1: Don't you want Uncle Zach to lay down.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Some Yeah exactly. My son looked at him with eyes
- 55:15Speaker 5: like huge.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Well, because when it's from you, guys, they're like roll
- 55:18Speaker 1: their eyes and they're screaming ten seconds later. But if
- 55:20Speaker 1: Uncle Zach lays down a rule, they might listen.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, you got real staccato with it.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Yeah, no screeching.
- 55:28Speaker 10: He's like, hey, shut your mouth.
- 55:29Speaker 11: No.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 55:31Speaker 2: I tone it down.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I didn't hit like that either.
- 55:35Speaker 2: I said, tone it down.
- 55:37Speaker 5: But I have to say, you've given in. You've given
- 55:39Speaker 5: in quite a bit over the past two years.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I would say, well, you guys are a beautiful family,
- 55:44Speaker 1: and I hope I have kids. I really would love
- 55:46Speaker 1: to have children. One day and it was nice. I
- 55:50Speaker 1: brought there's a child from cheaper by the dozen who
- 55:53Speaker 1: I really bonded with, and we brought him and his
- 55:56Speaker 1: mom to Disneyland, and uh, it's I can see that
- 56:00Speaker 1: I have this paternal instinct in me to want to
- 56:02Speaker 1: be a dad one day, and I hope I'm I
- 56:04Speaker 1: hope I'm as good a parent as you are. One day,
- 56:06Speaker 1: you too, You're going to be great.
- 56:09Speaker 8: I hope I am too.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Well. How old is your kid, Travis?
- 56:12Speaker 8: Almost two?
- 56:13Speaker 1: Okay, you a good dad? Do you put in the time?
- 56:17Speaker 8: I put in the time whenever I can't well. I mean,
- 56:19Speaker 8: I'm an antithesiologist, so I get the times that I
- 56:23Speaker 8: am home I'm parent number one, and the weekends that
- 56:27Speaker 8: I'm not working.
- 56:28Speaker 10: Yeah, I guess where he lives in Dallas. I know
- 56:31Speaker 10: I have to say this. I have to say my kids.
- 56:34Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 56:35Speaker 5: I can't speak for all kids, but my kids notice
- 56:38Speaker 5: when he doesn't help me.
- 56:41Speaker 3: They notice all the time.
- 56:42Speaker 10: I know, so they you.
- 56:44Speaker 5: Know, he could buy them every gift in the world,
- 56:47Speaker 5: take them to Target every day, buy them whatever, but
- 56:50Speaker 5: they will still be like, but Dad's lazy.
- 56:54Speaker 10: But Dad didn't help you this morning.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Dad.
- 56:57Speaker 10: So I think if you just you know.
- 57:00Speaker 3: You know, I knew it was an issue and that
- 57:05Speaker 3: I needed to step up more. When my kid was like, yeah,
- 57:08Speaker 3: but Dad, you know you're lazy, I was like, what
- 57:11Speaker 3: wos that must be?
- 57:17Speaker 1: That must be hard when you're like, bro, I just
- 57:18Speaker 1: paid the mortgage, I just bought you food. Exactly, I'm
- 57:21Speaker 1: lying on the couch for a second.
- 57:23Speaker 5: But that's the thing, like they can't they can't wrap
- 57:25Speaker 5: their head around that that doesn't mean anything to them.
- 57:28Speaker 5: What they see is is someone sitting on the couch,
- 57:32Speaker 5: you know, whether he just got home from working all
- 57:34Speaker 5: day or you know, like you working all night whatever,
- 57:38Speaker 5: coming home, sitting on the couch, and if the wife
- 57:40Speaker 5: is the one doing everything, dressing, fixing the food, doing
- 57:44Speaker 5: all this, even if you just stand up and act
- 57:47Speaker 5: like you're in their helping in some way, that's that's
- 57:50Speaker 5: all it takes for them to think, Yeah, my.
- 57:52Speaker 8: Daughter, like I had worked a long day yesterday and
- 57:55Speaker 8: she just ran up and like she just said no
- 57:57Speaker 8: and shoved me and ran off to.
- 57:58Speaker 10: My Yeah, wow, it's.
- 58:03Speaker 3: All right, Casey.
- 58:04Speaker 1: We got to finish the show.
- 58:06Speaker 5: Because the air conditioning guy needs to get up and okay, okay.
- 58:10Speaker 3: We're finishing.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Air conditioning guy finishing Travis, you're welcome. We have one question. Travis.
- 58:18Speaker 1: You're an antiologist, right, yes, I am. Now. I had
- 58:21Speaker 1: a hernia surgery many years ago, and I remember they
- 58:25Speaker 1: gave me something in the right before they took me in.
- 58:29Speaker 1: They gave me a shot of something. It wasn't the
- 58:31Speaker 1: full anesthesia, but it was a little What was that,
- 58:34Speaker 1: Travis was Verse said, Yeah, that made me feel really
- 58:40Speaker 1: really good.
- 58:42Speaker 8: Yes, it comes requested by name very often.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Okay, well, I'm telling you if you have to get surgery,
- 58:49Speaker 1: ask your ante ceologist for some versus you know, is
- 58:54Speaker 1: you're a fake doctor recommendation, Because for a second I
- 58:57Speaker 1: was like.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Okay, if I ever go under again, I'm gonna try
- 59:02Speaker 3: and fight it.
- 59:05Speaker 8: Yeah I can't all the time, Like I'm gonna stay
- 59:08Speaker 8: awake because do what you can. I'm undefeated.
- 59:11Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm gonna try and fight it. I'm gonna
- 59:14Speaker 3: stand out, I'm get as loud as I can. It's
- 59:16Speaker 3: not gonna work. I'm gonna just grit your teeth.
- 59:21Speaker 1: One more anestheologist question, and I know this is probably
- 59:23Speaker 1: as an nsteologist, but you'll know the answer. I'm told
- 59:26Speaker 1: that after you have a colonoscopy, you still technically experienced it,
- 59:32Speaker 1: but then they give you a drug that wipes your
- 59:34Speaker 1: memory like Men in Black of the experience. Is that true?
- 59:38Speaker 8: We're still I think we're still talking about versaid now.
- 59:41Speaker 8: I don't typically give people verse said for colonoscopies just
- 59:45Speaker 8: because it's a quick procedure and I want them to
- 59:47Speaker 8: be able to get up and get out of the hospital.
- 59:49Speaker 8: So but no, there's no like Men in Black pan
- 59:52Speaker 8: or anything like that.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Oh I heard that. I heard something that maybe maybe
- 59:55Speaker 1: someone's making it up, but like you really do experience
- 59:57Speaker 1: the full colonoscopy and then but they give you something
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: after the Men in blacks your memory.
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: No, No, I mean there's some people that will like
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: wake up. There's one portion where they're going around the
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: band where it gets real stimulating, and some people will
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: just stimulating, yeah.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Like cock or like they sit up like.
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: People ever get erections, Oh my god, oh my god,
- 1:00:20Speaker 8: like ever from colon No, not from.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Have you been in surgery doing n ST jogist and
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: someone just randomly got an erection?
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean when they're they're like putting fully cathers in. Yeah,
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: sometimes they will.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: Wow, that sounds like it hurts. Does.
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: It's more like uncomfortable than painful. I mean if they
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: use if they use enough.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Lube, Yeah, they use enough lube.
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: Donald, Yeah, I mean look man, sorry.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Donald, Okay, Donald Donald, Have you had a klonoscopy yet,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: I've had you have?
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Yes, Yes, I have.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: I gotta have mine.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Get it done. I'm worried, get it done.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: I'm worry.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna break Travis. I'm worry. I'm gonna break Travis's
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: record and be the first one to get an erection.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Oh boy, get it done, bro, no joke, it's it's
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: worth it.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Of course, and I'm we're joking. But all you men
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: out there, what's the age, Travis? We can do a
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: public service announcement?
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: Yeah, they just change it to forty. Now, if you
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: have a strong family history, then yeah, they'll bring in earlier,
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: but it's usually forty.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: All right. Well, now we're gonna switch to a serious
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: public service announcement. Forty and above. You gotta have a
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: colonoscopy and make sure you do not have any suspicious
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: things on your colon, right.
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: Travis, exactly. I actually turned forty in a week, So
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: thank you for the reminder.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I'm reminding you, gosh, I'm a good fake doctor. I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: need to remind myself. I'm forty six.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Get it done.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it done, all right. And before we go,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: this segment on Fake Doctor's Real Friends is brought to
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you by T Mobile. If you need great coverage, especially
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: when enjoying your favorite podcast, check out T Mobile. Hey,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: and here we go, everybody. We have a beautiful pitch
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: for where we should take the podcast in the future
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: from our friend Christine, a massive fan of Scrubs. Here
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: we go, take it away.
- 1:02:10Speaker 11: Christine, Hey, Fake Doctor's crew. My name is Christine. I'm
- 1:02:14Speaker 11: from Denver, Colorado. I'm a longtime listener, lifetime watcher of Scrubs.
- 1:02:19Speaker 11: So when this podcast came out, it's the only reason
- 1:02:22Speaker 11: why I clean the house and workout is because this podcast,
- 1:02:27Speaker 11: would you know, get me through those the things that
- 1:02:31Speaker 11: I hate doing. So please continue doing this because I
- 1:02:35Speaker 11: have a clean house and I feel fits, So thank
- 1:02:37Speaker 11: you so much. Life. I know a bunch of Scrubs
- 1:02:41Speaker 11: fans out there and especially listeners, just want this to
- 1:02:44Speaker 11: continue going. We dread the day that you guys are
- 1:02:47Speaker 11: going to you know, watch the last episode and relive it.
- 1:02:52Speaker 11: So My idea is fake Doctor's, real friends, real life,
- 1:02:57Speaker 11: because you know, there's things in scrubs that maybe has
- 1:03:01Speaker 11: happened in real life. So maybe there's a scene or
- 1:03:04Speaker 11: a situation that a fan has been through and they
- 1:03:07Speaker 11: call in and you interview them, and you guys get
- 1:03:09Speaker 11: to relive these these situations or you know, scenes that
- 1:03:15Speaker 11: have been brilliantly written, and there's a fan or two
- 1:03:19Speaker 11: out there that are like that has happened to me,
- 1:03:22Speaker 11: it's so accurate. Maybe there's a real life Elliott and
- 1:03:26Speaker 11: j d out there that has dated and broken up
- 1:03:29Speaker 11: and now married or something like that. Maybe there's a
- 1:03:35Speaker 11: real situation out there that doctor you know, Cox has
- 1:03:39Speaker 11: been through and then you invite John back and you know,
- 1:03:42Speaker 11: you all get to talk about that episode again or
- 1:03:44Speaker 11: talk about that scene again. So that's my idea of
- 1:03:50Speaker 11: fake Doctors, real friends, real life. Let's keep this podcast going,
- 1:03:56Speaker 11: Let's pay homage and honor the show. Let's just keep
- 1:04:00Speaker 11: it going. There in so many real life situations, real
- 1:04:04Speaker 11: life scrub stuff.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: So yeah, I.
- 1:04:07Speaker 11: Keep doing what you're doing.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Thank you, Christine. That was very kind.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I'm very kind. She said a lot of nice things
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: about the show. Donald, I like her.
