- 4:33Speaker 5: what's going on three years now? Three or four years now?
- 4:37Speaker 5: And what brought us together were books? She has partners,
- 4:42Speaker 5: so much knowledge in me as a sister, as a friend,
- 4:46Speaker 5: as a woman of God, as a mentor, like I
- 4:50Speaker 5: have talked to this lady for hours and hours and hours,
- 4:54Speaker 5: and it's never a dull moment. Right now, I'm on
- 4:57Speaker 5: this new journey where her where I am a part
- 4:59Speaker 5: of five one and we're called the crew, and tonight
- 5:02Speaker 5: is my night. So I don't want to bring on
- 5:08Speaker 5: my mentor, my sister, my best friend, the Queen of collaboration,
- 5:13Speaker 5: missus Angela Thomas Smith. Come on girl, come on this chat.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Hey girl, I was gonna get you one day, so
- 5:26Speaker 5: I got you tonight soon. First of all, thank you
- 5:29Speaker 5: for coming and tell people who is Angela Thomas Smith,
- 5:36Speaker 5: the Queen of Collaborations? Who is she?
- 5:40Speaker 1: Well? Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I
- 5:44Speaker 1: am Oh my God. I wear many hats. The one
- 5:48Speaker 1: that who that I wear that I am passionate about
- 5:54Speaker 1: is being the Queen of collaborations. I truly believe and
- 5:59Speaker 1: bring in people together and helping pushing people to their
- 6:03Speaker 1: purpose because I believe that we all have a purpose
- 6:07Speaker 1: and I take pride in that. That's something that I'm
- 6:12Speaker 1: passionate about. So being a queen up collaborations. I thank
- 6:16Speaker 1: God for that person that spoke that over my life.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It's been now I'm on five years.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Well, yeah, you've been doing it for five years. I'll
- 6:26Speaker 5: never forget that phone call we had and I think
- 6:29Speaker 5: it was like right before COVID or during COVID in February,
- 6:34Speaker 5: and we talked for hours and hours and you were like,
- 6:37Speaker 5: I want you to do book reviews and I'm like,
- 6:38Speaker 5: well hold up, but you know what, you brought me
- 6:43Speaker 5: out of my own comfort zone and helped me to
- 6:46Speaker 5: embark where I am right now, and I truly thank
- 6:49Speaker 5: you for that. So I know you got some projects
- 6:53Speaker 5: going on, and I know week next weekend we're celebrating
- 6:57Speaker 5: something big, So how about you tell us what's going
- 6:59Speaker 5: on next weekend.
- 7:03Speaker 1: So next weekend, in my eighth birthday, not only is
- 7:07Speaker 1: it my forty eighth birthday, I will be dropping book
- 7:09Speaker 1: number fifty eight I am, I'll be hosting a poetry showcase.
- 7:18Speaker 1: So yeah, I have my hands in a lot because
- 7:21Speaker 1: I truly believe in bringing awareness to things that I'm
- 7:25Speaker 1: passionate about and being able to give people people a
- 7:31Speaker 1: outlet to share their voice is definitely what I'm passionate
- 7:36Speaker 1: about right now, because I am the change that I
- 7:39Speaker 1: desire to see in this world, and I want to
- 7:42Speaker 1: give other people that opportunity too. So that's what we're
- 7:46Speaker 1: doing for my birthday. We're gonna be celebrating some amazing poets.
- 7:51Speaker 1: We're gonna be celebrating those that co author this anthology
- 7:55Speaker 1: with me, And yeah, that's what we're doing.
- 7:59Speaker 5: So I know we have a lot of people that's
- 8:01Speaker 5: gonna be there. I'm gonna be hanging out, not gonna
- 8:04Speaker 5: be one of the main speakers. But you know, I
- 8:06Speaker 5: have to support her because she supports me. But can
- 8:09Speaker 5: you give us like two or three authors or two
- 8:12Speaker 5: or three people who are gonna be there.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So we have As far as the Poetry Showcase, we're
- 8:18Speaker 1: gonna have Lisa Hopkins, who is our new Poetouis of
- 8:24Speaker 1: the Year for twenty twenty three. She will be on
- 8:27Speaker 1: the platform. We also have doctor Erica Moore, who was
- 8:31Speaker 1: our second winner up and we have Lashaya Ruckham who
- 8:39Speaker 1: came in third place. They're gonna be a part of
- 8:42Speaker 1: the showcase. There's a Poetouis that's going to be a
- 8:47Speaker 1: part of the showcase. Our poetry edition of Aspiring Authors
- 8:52Speaker 1: magazine it actually dropped early. It dropped two days ago
- 8:57Speaker 1: because I truly wanted to allow this this magazine to
- 9:01Speaker 1: be in their hands, hopefully before we keeped off that showcase,
- 9:06Speaker 1: so people could have an opportunity to flip through those
- 9:08Speaker 1: pages and kind of get to know them ahead of time.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So I'm waiting for Minds to come in the mail.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I've ordered it, and I'm just excited and being able
- 9:19Speaker 1: to be that platform and being able to be an
- 9:22Speaker 1: outlet where people can share their writings and share those
- 9:26Speaker 1: things that they are passionate about. I am also in
- 9:30Speaker 1: the works of doing a mental health awareness poetry collaboration.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I have five people that's signed up to be a
- 9:40Speaker 1: part of this. April is, of course, National Poetry Awareness Month,
- 9:45Speaker 1: and May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so I decided
- 9:49Speaker 1: that I'm going to try to mix the two together.
- 9:52Speaker 1: The book is gonna drop on April the thirtieth, so
- 9:55Speaker 1: we're gonna be ending Poetry Awareness Month and going into
- 9:59Speaker 1: mental health awareness on So I think April the thirtieth
- 10:02Speaker 1: will be great. And it's also my dad's birthday, so
- 10:05Speaker 1: I'm doing this in honor of my dad, who passed
- 10:07Speaker 1: away two years ago.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Well, first of all, I'm gonna be the first one
- 10:12Speaker 5: to say happy birthday, so it's on that, ain't me.
- 10:15Speaker 5: I'm the first one. I told her Happy birthday. And
- 10:18Speaker 5: I am so excited for this weekend. I'm going to
- 10:23Speaker 5: be on there with you guys Saturday and now Sunday.
- 10:25Speaker 5: I got the little girl. But you're not gonna have
- 10:27Speaker 5: my phone something looking at y'all too O. You're gonna
- 10:30Speaker 5: a little just a little break, and then we're gonna
- 10:32Speaker 5: come back and we're gonna talk about the days of Prayer.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Like I told y'all, this was a woman of God,
- 10:38Speaker 5: and it ain't no joke because I remember sitting up
- 10:40Speaker 5: there on the phone crying plenty of times with her.
- 10:44Speaker 5: But she has been such a comfort and in part
- 10:46Speaker 5: of the words that I need to dust myself up
- 10:50Speaker 5: and to keep going. So we're gonna take a little
- 10:52Speaker 5: quick commercial and then we're gonna come back and we're
- 10:54Speaker 5: gonna talk about one hundred and twenty one days of prayer. Y'all,
- 10:57Speaker 5: stay tuned.
- 11:03Speaker 2: You need to get your book reviews or do you
- 11:06Speaker 2: want a little bit more exposure for your new book.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Check us out at www dot sc book Gallonfriends dot
- 11:15Speaker 2: comm or email us at sc book gallonfriends at gmail
- 11:23Speaker 2: dot com. We have packages for all our third contact us.
- 11:31Speaker 2: We read your new book as I.
- 11:35Speaker 5: So tell us about this one hundred and twenty one
- 11:41Speaker 5: Days of Prayer. Now I'm gonna tell y'all a little
- 11:44Speaker 5: bit about it first. Okay. Now in the morning, I
- 11:47Speaker 5: have to get up eight year old who is not
- 11:50Speaker 5: an a in person, but you know what. She goes
- 11:53Speaker 5: live on Facebook and she has this prayer mind that
- 11:58Speaker 5: you can call into. So while I'm fixing my daughter's breakfast,
- 12:04Speaker 5: I have this poing, so I am able to feed
- 12:07Speaker 5: my spirit and make sure my daughter gets fed at
- 12:10Speaker 5: the same time. So tell us what brought about this
- 12:16Speaker 5: one hundred and twenty one days of Prayer?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Well, it started. This is actually our third year until
- 12:27Speaker 1: the one hundred and twenty one days of Prayer. I
- 12:29Speaker 1: have to give a shot out to Arthur, Pamela, Jay
- 12:31Speaker 1: Hayes and janeer your ourn because of their dedication and
- 12:35Speaker 1: their commitment to be a part of this with me.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I dropped in my free words. It was learn love
- 12:45Speaker 1: and it came from people that I was from others
- 12:51Speaker 1: and came out of three l's that stood out the
- 12:57Speaker 1: title of the book was called Soulful Office, and those
- 13:02Speaker 1: those three l's just stood out. It's just like they
- 13:05Speaker 1: just stood out to me. And God began to deal
- 13:09Speaker 1: with me with those three l's, and he broke down
- 13:12Speaker 1: the word learn, love, and lead, and he kept pulling
- 13:16Speaker 1: at me to include other people and not just myself.
- 13:19Speaker 1: So I was searching around trying to find people to
- 13:22Speaker 1: be a part of this project. Didn't know what it
- 13:25Speaker 1: was gonna end up being. I just thought it was
- 13:28Speaker 1: gonna be a book, and he was gonna write a book,
- 13:29Speaker 1: and it was just exact. But he kept dealing with me.
- 13:32Speaker 1: He kept waking me up at three am, and he
- 13:36Speaker 1: said prayer. So I originally asked some other individuals to
- 13:41Speaker 1: go into prayer, people that I just thought was religious,
- 13:44Speaker 1: and you know, I thought they would be great to
- 13:47Speaker 1: go into prayer. You know, that's not what he wanted.
- 13:51Speaker 1: He wanted me to take regular, ordinary people that did
- 13:54Speaker 1: not have titles, that did not walk in offices, to
- 13:58Speaker 1: be a part of this prayer, this prayer line. So
- 14:02Speaker 1: I reached out to It was a she was a prophetess.
- 14:06Speaker 1: At first. I reached out to her and she started
- 14:08Speaker 1: the prayer line with us, and she Eventually she inlighted
- 14:13Speaker 1: a lot of people, and eventually she dropped off, so
- 14:17Speaker 1: I reached out to Shania. It was halfway through I
- 14:19Speaker 1: reached out to Shania, and Shania came on and she said.
- 14:27Speaker 1: The first thing she said to me was I'm not
- 14:28Speaker 1: She said, I really don't know how to pray. And
- 14:31Speaker 1: I told her, I said, well, baby, I say, join
- 14:33Speaker 1: the crowd. I say, because I'm not, I say, I
- 14:36Speaker 1: just pray what he lay on my heart. But I
- 14:39Speaker 1: can tell you, over these last three years, I has
- 14:41Speaker 1: truly did a thing within all three of us. I
- 14:46Speaker 1: chose Shanaria because she was willing to learn, and she
- 14:49Speaker 1: was to learn l Pam was the love el because
- 14:54Speaker 1: Pam has been a empitiment, an example and lived an
- 15:00Speaker 1: example of that unconditional love. Because she people have done
- 15:04Speaker 1: things to her, they have back byed they did stuff
- 15:09Speaker 1: to her, and she still has showed unconditional love. And
- 15:15Speaker 1: of course I was to lead, and he kept revealing
- 15:18Speaker 1: to me that in order for me to be a
- 15:20Speaker 1: great leader, that I had to be able to operate
- 15:23Speaker 1: in all of them and sufficient and effectedly in all areas.
- 15:30Speaker 1: So I had to get to a point because some
- 15:32Speaker 1: of us we get to a place in our life
- 15:34Speaker 1: where we think we know everything and that can't nobody
- 15:38Speaker 1: teach us nothing. But he reminded me that we are
- 15:41Speaker 1: always learning. We always have to be students. We're always
- 15:46Speaker 1: learning something because this world, whether we get to PhD,
- 15:51Speaker 1: doctor's degree, expert in, this expert in, that this one
- 15:55Speaker 1: is forever, and it wanted for us to grow and
- 16:00Speaker 1: to go to the next level. We have to be
- 16:01Speaker 1: willing to to learn and and and to grow. So
- 16:06Speaker 1: he showed me all of that, and even me, you know,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I thought that I was at a place where I
- 16:13Speaker 1: was good, and that I was being good to people
- 16:15Speaker 1: and nice to people, and that I was just content
- 16:18Speaker 1: with my little self. And then He would bring people
- 16:21Speaker 1: in my life and people would correct me. And the
- 16:25Speaker 1: old Angela wouldn't have took the correction the way that
- 16:29Speaker 1: I did. But the Angela that God was dealing with
- 16:33Speaker 1: and and evolving, you know, I was able to take
- 16:36Speaker 1: these these corrections and and take these things and and
- 16:40Speaker 1: and and deal with them. Really gross that writes for
- 16:44Speaker 1: us from the Virgin Islands, that writes for the magazine
- 16:46Speaker 1: from the Virgin Islands. She's one of the people that
- 16:49Speaker 1: put me in my place, and I say, put me
- 16:51Speaker 1: in my place, because she called me and I said
- 16:56Speaker 1: something to her and to me, I thought that I
- 16:59Speaker 1: was in order, that I was out of order, and
- 17:02Speaker 1: she corrected me, and I was able to take that correction,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and she writes for the magazine. Me and her became
- 17:07Speaker 1: really good friends. She we visited with each other a
- 17:11Speaker 1: couple of times when I was in Atlanta because she
- 17:13Speaker 1: was in Atlanta too. We was gonna sit down ate
- 17:16Speaker 1: dinner and broke bread with each other. And you know,
- 17:19Speaker 1: that's where that's just where God has has been able
- 17:22Speaker 1: to take me with this one hundred and twenty two
- 17:24Speaker 1: I mean one hundred and twenty one days of prayer.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Three years. We were in our third year. We've been
- 17:30Speaker 1: able to produce these two books out of it. I
- 17:33Speaker 1: actually have our last book right, It was the last book.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And at times He has allowed me to be to
- 17:42Speaker 1: have different individuals. I could hear it was just me
- 17:45Speaker 1: and Shineeria. And after we came out of prayer, we
- 17:51Speaker 1: did the first book while you one and there was
- 17:56Speaker 1: we did all one hundred and twenty one prayers and
- 17:59Speaker 1: then sixty five affirmations that were shared between sixty four
- 18:04Speaker 1: individuals from around the world. We had people from Africa,
- 18:07Speaker 1: we had people from the Virgin Islands, we had people
- 18:09Speaker 1: from the UK, from Germany, we even had someone from career,
- 18:13Speaker 1: someone from a place called you Guinea, New Guinea that
- 18:17Speaker 1: shared affirmations in that first book. Our oldest, well, I
- 18:22Speaker 1: say our young our youngest contributor was at that time
- 18:27Speaker 1: she was ninety six getting ready to turn ninety seven,
- 18:31Speaker 1: but she contributed I think it was ten affirmations to
- 18:36Speaker 1: be part of that, and she contributed again this year.
- 18:43Speaker 1: This year we actually had twenty one individuals that actually
- 18:48Speaker 1: prayed with us, whether they prayed one day or they
- 18:51Speaker 1: was on the one hundred and twenty one days, they
- 18:54Speaker 1: had an opportunity to share inside of this anthology their
- 18:58Speaker 1: journey and what their journey was like in the power
- 19:02Speaker 1: of prayer to them and just how they perceived that.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So they had an opportunity and we had this year
- 19:09Speaker 1: there was I want to say sixty one individuals again
- 19:14Speaker 1: shared affirmation and let me correct myself. It was one
- 19:18Speaker 1: hundred and thirty four women the first year that shared affirmations.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It was one hundred and thirty four women that shared
- 19:26Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five affirmations, and this year it
- 19:30Speaker 1: was sixty one men and women that shared affirmations inside
- 19:35Speaker 1: of the book. So there were some that did twenty affirmations.
- 19:40Speaker 1: They did it twenty twenty days of transformation or whatever
- 19:44Speaker 1: they called it. They they labeled it something and they
- 19:49Speaker 1: were able to, you know, pour into different people and
- 19:51Speaker 1: it was different sections. And then now we are currently
- 19:56Speaker 1: in prayer. We are day fifty three of hundred and
- 20:00Speaker 1: twenty one days of prayer. Of course, at the end
- 20:03Speaker 1: we'll do a book. I don't know where God is
- 20:05Speaker 1: leading me with this book, but we're definitely gonna do
- 20:09Speaker 1: another book. And I said this was gonna be the
- 20:12Speaker 1: last year, but every time I say something that's gonna
- 20:15Speaker 1: be the last, he always extended. Because I didn't want
- 20:18Speaker 1: to do it this year, I was gonna say no.
- 20:20Speaker 1: But I tell you there's truly something powerful about prayer.
- 20:24Speaker 1: And I tell you God to truly moves because if
- 20:29Speaker 1: you if I just look back over my life and
- 20:33Speaker 1: just look at some of the things now I me praying,
- 20:37Speaker 1: I did not see myself doing a lot of the
- 20:39Speaker 1: stuff that I'm doing right now. Definitely talking about the
- 20:42Speaker 1: country girl from South Carolina, a little country girl from
- 20:46Speaker 1: level Lands, South Carolina. Place that people are never heard of.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'm talking about. My street was one way in, one
- 20:52Speaker 1: way out, and I look at my I'm getting ready
- 20:54Speaker 1: to drop my fifty eighth book. I am a co
- 20:58Speaker 1: owner to a podcast that has ten hosts. I on
- 21:05Speaker 1: a magazine able to allow individuals to share their stories,
- 21:11Speaker 1: to share things that they're passionate them with around the world.
- 21:14Speaker 1: It's not just something that you can just it's just there.
- 21:18Speaker 1: But people can get this magazine all over the world.
- 21:21Speaker 1: And I get so sometimes I get so amazed that
- 21:25Speaker 1: you go and you look and you see where you
- 21:28Speaker 1: can find your stuff. And I said, where is New Guinea?
- 21:32Speaker 1: Like where really? Where is New Guinea? Because I had
- 21:35Speaker 1: someone to purchase a magazine from New Guinea. I've had
- 21:39Speaker 1: people purchase the magazine from different parts of Germany, the UK,
- 21:48Speaker 1: people follow us from Spain, people follow us from Finland,
- 21:52Speaker 1: people follow us from the Netherlands and places that I'm like, okay,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I didn't know they people like us, okay.
- 22:00Speaker 5: And I remember when you're telling me where you work
- 22:04Speaker 5: from South Carolina. I remember going on my phone and
- 22:06Speaker 5: be like, I have never heard of this place in
- 22:08Speaker 5: South Carolina, and what you have, this this energy, this
- 22:13Speaker 5: this blessing, this this aura about you that you have
- 22:17Speaker 5: no choice about to walk in greatness when you're in you,
- 22:20Speaker 5: in your in your presence, in your company. It's like
- 22:23Speaker 5: you have no choice. And I remember when you came
- 22:25Speaker 5: to me about a podcast like a pool a pard
- 22:28Speaker 5: what treats don't do people? Now? Treat says it.
- 22:31Speaker 1: But you trained me. You took me on your way.
- 22:36Speaker 5: You said, okay, and yes we do trains, and she
- 22:39Speaker 5: actually sat up and walked us through the whole thing.
- 22:42Speaker 5: You're gonna have questions, She'll.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Walk you through that.
- 22:45Speaker 5: And I remember during one hundred and twenty one Days
- 22:48Speaker 5: of Prayer, I was going through something and she would.
- 22:52Speaker 5: If you have a family member that needs to go
- 22:53Speaker 5: into perils, she will call out their name every single day.
- 22:58Speaker 5: That's some dedication in God that don't come around too often.
- 23:02Speaker 5: So now we talking about this magazine and me and
- 23:09Speaker 5: you are a part of what inspired you to create
- 23:13Speaker 5: Inspiring Author's Magazine.
- 23:18Speaker 1: So of course I am an author and a lot
- 23:21Speaker 1: of the things that I do I created it out
- 23:27Speaker 1: the need of me not having or me not having
- 23:31Speaker 1: that opportunity to do that or having that opportunity to
- 23:35Speaker 1: be a part of something, or people always leading me
- 23:38Speaker 1: the wrong way. So everything that you see me doing
- 23:41Speaker 1: is because I've asked other people to help me do
- 23:45Speaker 1: things and they wouldn't. So God always opened the door.
- 23:49Speaker 1: He would send me to different like I'll be on
- 23:52Speaker 1: a live like I came on alive. People don't understand
- 23:55Speaker 1: that before twenty twenty, I did no podcasting, I did
- 24:00Speaker 1: know lives, I did no nothing. You can go back
- 24:02Speaker 1: and you can look at all of my social media platforms.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I was not doing this. I came back to Facebook
- 24:09Speaker 1: in January of twenty twenty after being sick for a
- 24:14Speaker 1: while and land in Greater Memorial Hospital. I came back
- 24:18Speaker 1: to Facebook. And I came back to Facebook because I
- 24:21Speaker 1: came back to apologize to some people because when I
- 24:24Speaker 1: was in the hospital, I had a lot of people
- 24:26Speaker 1: scandalizing my name about a book. It was a suicide
- 24:30Speaker 1: awareness book that was supposed to be released and half
- 24:32Speaker 1: of the people that was a part of that book
- 24:34Speaker 1: didn't even pay to be a part of that book,
- 24:36Speaker 1: but they were scandalizing my name and I felt like
- 24:38Speaker 1: I needed to come on and express that. So there
- 24:41Speaker 1: was a lady that caught my live. She called me
- 24:44Speaker 1: into a messenger and told me to not go live again,
- 24:50Speaker 1: to apologize to nobody about nothing, that I needed to
- 24:52Speaker 1: move forward and let it go. Okay, So I did
- 24:56Speaker 1: just that. I moved forward. I let it go. I
- 24:58Speaker 1: went into the group and I apologized to them in
- 25:02Speaker 1: the group, and I said, if y'all want to remain
- 25:04Speaker 1: a part of this book, the book is gonna come forth.
- 25:07Speaker 1: And that was the suicide Awareness twenty day devotional that dropped.
- 25:13Speaker 1: That was my first time meeting Milli Gross. She actually
- 25:16Speaker 1: caught the live and she came in my inbox and
- 25:20Speaker 1: she wanted to be a part of it. She signed
- 25:22Speaker 1: up forward and we've been attached every sense. There were
- 25:26Speaker 1: a lot of people that was not a part of
- 25:29Speaker 1: that particular book project before all of this happened, and
- 25:32Speaker 1: I ended up with twenty individuals. So we did a
- 25:35Speaker 1: twenty day devotional instead of a thirty day devotional. And
- 25:39Speaker 1: that really got me back to, you know, going forth.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I began to go forth and not look back at
- 25:48Speaker 1: you know, things that had happened and looked back over
- 25:51Speaker 1: my life, because if I had a kept looking back,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I would have been still stuck back there. So I
- 25:56Speaker 1: pushed forward, and all the things that I wanted to do,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I began to add and every time somebody would deny me,
- 26:04Speaker 1: God would send somebody else to open up that door.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Somebody from Africa helped me. I had a friend that
- 26:13Speaker 1: followed me on Facebook and her daughter was graduating from college.
- 26:19Speaker 1: She just graduated from college and she said, my daughter
- 26:22Speaker 1: will do it. I said, your daughter will do it?
- 26:25Speaker 1: She said yeah. I said, well we have to ask her.
- 26:28Speaker 1: She said, no, my daughter will do it. So she said,
- 26:32Speaker 1: send me what you want. I send her what I needed.
- 26:37Speaker 1: She hooked us up on What's App. She said, my
- 26:42Speaker 1: daughter's gonna call you, and we would manage times to
- 26:46Speaker 1: call and for a whole year, for a whole year.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Wow.
- 26:53Speaker 1: She worked that magazine and was showing me different things.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Her computer crashed and she ended up having to step away.
- 27:01Speaker 1: But because she was showing me along the way, I
- 27:03Speaker 1: was able to pick up when her computer crashed, so
- 27:08Speaker 1: she wasn't able to do it anymore. So she did
- 27:13Speaker 1: because everybody else, you know, people kept telling me they
- 27:16Speaker 1: would show me how to do a a just the
- 27:23Speaker 1: ebook type magazine, the online magazine. But I didn't want
- 27:28Speaker 1: an online magazine. I wanted something that people could have
- 27:30Speaker 1: in their hands, that they can put in their libraries,
- 27:34Speaker 1: they can put on their coffee tables, that they could
- 27:36Speaker 1: actually have look at and you know, giveaway as gifts
- 27:41Speaker 1: to So I wanted the paper version. So I just
- 27:45Speaker 1: began to look and God directed me to the site
- 27:50Speaker 1: work work dot com and I went over there, and
- 27:56Speaker 1: not only am I able to do my magazine there,
- 28:01Speaker 1: I'm also able to publish books over there and do
- 28:05Speaker 1: a lot of the things that I'm and and everything.
- 28:09Speaker 1: God has always had a bush and around for me
- 28:13Speaker 1: when they were denied me. He always opened the door
- 28:17Speaker 1: for me. Because somebody wanted to show me. They wanted
- 28:19Speaker 1: to charge me three hundred dollars to show me how
- 28:22Speaker 1: to do journals. Well, one day I was online and
- 28:26Speaker 1: I was watching because I don't normally watch videos, so
- 28:29Speaker 1: that particular day, I was online and I just happened
- 28:33Speaker 1: to look at my video, and right after my video,
- 28:36Speaker 1: a man came on there and he was showing how
- 28:40Speaker 1: to do journals. He was sending you to the site
- 28:42Speaker 1: to download the inside the low content information and everything.
- 28:46Speaker 1: And immediately after I walked through it and I did it,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I knew somebody else that wanted to do it. Tamela Apostle. Tamela.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I called her. I said, you have ten minutes. I say,
- 29:01Speaker 1: can you near your computer? I said, let me show
- 29:03Speaker 1: you this. I said, because I just learned how to
- 29:05Speaker 1: do it. And it's nine journals and she's sitting there
- 29:10Speaker 1: and I mean it just this is what I do.
- 29:16Speaker 1: You know, if I see that you have a little
- 29:21Speaker 1: bit of something that you can offer to this world,
- 29:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna push you. Has Akaya is someone that I
- 29:29Speaker 1: stay on because Hezekia is full of potential and I've
- 29:34Speaker 1: come across so many people that have potential, but because
- 29:37Speaker 1: of people and people just not wanting to pour into people.
- 29:42Speaker 1: See people get so caught up in themselves and they
- 29:44Speaker 1: forget about they forget about other people. But I'm I'm
- 29:48Speaker 1: reminded of I think it's Philippians far and somewhere over there.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I'm not a theologian. I don't know the Bible like that.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I just can can speak on my experiences. But it's
- 30:00Speaker 1: sending the Bible and all my Bible people that's on
- 30:03Speaker 1: they know that this is in there. He said, don't
- 30:05Speaker 1: only think of your things, and I'm paraphrasing, but think
- 30:09Speaker 1: on the things of others. Okay, so I don't I
- 30:15Speaker 1: know where that I go. Anybody will tell you if
- 30:19Speaker 1: I'm ever a part of anybody's platform or anything. You
- 30:24Speaker 1: best believe that I'm about to tell you, do you
- 30:26Speaker 1: got room for somebody else? People highlight me in they magazines,
- 30:29Speaker 1: they highlight me, and they they whatever they doing, you
- 30:32Speaker 1: better believe I'm sending some more people. And if everybody
- 30:36Speaker 1: remember back when Daphne had her show over in Germany,
- 30:39Speaker 1: Daphanie asked me to be a part of her show,
- 30:43Speaker 1: and I asked her before we got off the call,
- 30:47Speaker 1: I said, well, do you have room for some more people?
- 30:48Speaker 1: Because you know, I have a lot of authors that
- 30:51Speaker 1: follow my platform and support my platform, and I always
- 30:53Speaker 1: like to share. She left let me book her show.
- 30:57Speaker 1: For three to four months, every single show our book
- 31:01Speaker 1: for her. All I did was inbox people and tell them, hey,
- 31:06Speaker 1: you want to be on the show, you want to
- 31:07Speaker 1: be in Germany, you want to do this, And that's
- 31:09Speaker 1: what I do. Even this right now, I just did
- 31:13Speaker 1: a and I was joking with with the crew because
- 31:17Speaker 1: a lot of them they got their interview before me,
- 31:22Speaker 1: and I was the one that sent them. And I
- 31:24Speaker 1: saw y'all get interview before me, and I was the
- 31:27Speaker 1: one that told you. But it's just it's just something
- 31:31Speaker 1: you do, you know. But anybody open up the door,
- 31:35Speaker 1: believe in paying it for it, because that's what we
- 31:38Speaker 1: are supposed to be for. We're supposed to be helpmates
- 31:40Speaker 1: one to another. You know, if if, even if you
- 31:45Speaker 1: surpassed me, my my my hope and my dream and
- 31:49Speaker 1: my desire is that that you will reach back down
- 31:52Speaker 1: and pull somebody else, or you will take somebody along
- 31:55Speaker 1: with you by yourself. I see people oftentime. I see
- 32:01Speaker 1: so many people. They'll get to a place where they
- 32:03Speaker 1: think they know everything or it's all about them, and
- 32:06Speaker 1: they forget how they got there. One thing my mama
- 32:09Speaker 1: taught me, and this my mama passed twelve days after
- 32:12Speaker 1: my sixteenth birthday. But this is one thing that always
- 32:15Speaker 1: resonated with me that she shared as a young child.
- 32:19Speaker 1: She used to tell me, baby, she said, them same
- 32:22Speaker 1: people you pass on your way up. She said, you're
- 32:25Speaker 1: gonna pass them on your way down. And she always
- 32:27Speaker 1: told me, she said, whatever you do, give it one
- 32:30Speaker 1: hundred percent. She said, I don't care if it's cleaning
- 32:32Speaker 1: the toilet, wiping down wiping somebody. But whatever you do,
- 32:36Speaker 1: you give it one hundred percent. She said, don't go
- 32:40Speaker 1: half step there, she said, you if you can't go
- 32:42Speaker 1: one hundred percent, she said, don't go it all there
- 32:45Speaker 1: you go. And that's what I try to do. I
- 32:47Speaker 1: try to be that. I try to be that example.
- 32:50Speaker 2: You know.
- 32:51Speaker 1: One of my saying is we are the change that
- 32:53Speaker 1: we desire to see in this world. I am the
- 32:56Speaker 1: change that I want to see in this world. Because
- 32:59Speaker 1: if you knew my journey. So a lot of people
- 33:04Speaker 1: don't truly know my journey, but if you knew my journey,
- 33:08Speaker 1: you will understand why I do what I do. It's
- 33:11Speaker 1: not for show. It's not about money. And anybody that
- 33:14Speaker 1: follow my platform, no, is not about money. Because half
- 33:17Speaker 1: of the stuff that people do on my platform, half
- 33:19Speaker 1: of them end up getting it for free. They don't
- 33:24Speaker 1: end up they don't pay nothing. They end up doing
- 33:26Speaker 1: it for free. Because that's the type of heart that
- 33:28Speaker 1: I have. Because my reward is gonna be bigger than
- 33:31Speaker 1: what any man could give me. Okay, So I don't
- 33:34Speaker 1: worry about that. Okay, because in due time, he said,
- 33:38Speaker 1: he will make room for my gifts. Don't make room
- 33:41Speaker 1: for my gifts and my gift, my gift is gonna
- 33:44Speaker 1: take itself, so I don't worry about that. And when
- 33:48Speaker 1: people think that they're getting over on me, or they
- 33:51Speaker 1: think that they they doing something deceiving or whatever, they
- 33:55Speaker 1: have to understand that I do this from my heart.
- 33:57Speaker 1: The things that I do across these platforms, I do
- 33:59Speaker 1: for my home. And you cannot beat the givenness in
- 34:03Speaker 1: my heart. Because he that breathed that breath of life
- 34:06Speaker 1: on the inside of me, he's what He's what regulated
- 34:09Speaker 1: that that that Genesis two and seven say, the Genesis
- 34:13Speaker 1: two and seven is what regulates the inside of me.
- 34:16Speaker 1: That's what flow. So when people think they getting over,
- 34:19Speaker 1: they're not, because at the end of the day, he's
- 34:22Speaker 1: gonna have the last say.
- 34:24Speaker 5: And now y'all see what y'all see why he's my
- 34:27Speaker 5: mentor do you not see what I am sitting under?
- 34:32Speaker 5: So before we leave, we're gonna tell him about the
- 34:34Speaker 5: project that me and you are doing me together. And
- 34:37Speaker 5: it is called called the fifty uninety Authors of Aspiring
- 34:43Speaker 5: Author's Magazine. So we are doing this is be out
- 34:48Speaker 5: year two and for fifteen dollars. Yes there's a little
- 34:53Speaker 5: little fee, but you will be entered. You will be
- 34:56Speaker 5: featured in Aspiring Author's magazine we will have. You will
- 35:01Speaker 5: also be featured on sc book gal and chats blog
- 35:05Speaker 5: our website. You will also have a mini short podcast interview.
- 35:10Speaker 5: We will get a picture of you, a picture of
- 35:14Speaker 5: your books, working links to your books, and you will
- 35:18Speaker 5: represent your state. Now I have some popular states that
- 35:23Speaker 5: has already been taken. But if you get in contact
- 35:27Speaker 5: with me or Miss Queen of Collaborations, we will see
- 35:30Speaker 5: what we can do for you. So that will We're
- 35:34Speaker 5: gonna try to bring it out maybe late summer because
- 35:37Speaker 5: we got so much going on until it's not funny.
- 35:40Speaker 5: But you know what, God has not given us too
- 35:42Speaker 5: much that we can bear, but we're gonna enjoy this
- 35:44Speaker 5: while he's giveness to them. So exactly, last, but not least,
- 35:51Speaker 5: you gotta tell us how we can get contact with you.
- 35:54Speaker 1: So, everybody that link Tree, Queen up Collaborations the best

- 36:14Speaker 1: Queen of Collaboration, it'll give you a stroll down and

- 36:44Speaker 1: I believe in visibility. I believe in, you know, showing
- 36:48Speaker 1: up and and and staying in front of those that
- 36:52Speaker 1: support me. So I like to be visible.
- 36:58Speaker 5: So so you have ways. She's on every platform and
- 37:03Speaker 5: if you look at my page, you won't see everything
