- 0:55Speaker 5: I'm doing pretty good.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Uh, doing an earlier one today. It's kind of fun.
- 1:00Speaker 5: Earlier one. Yeah, it is nice. It's gonna be nice
- 1:03Speaker 5: to have the whole evening ahead of me, you know. Yeah, buddy,
- 1:07Speaker 5: sometimes I get sleepy, you know, by the time too.
- 1:10Speaker 1: The last one we did went real late. Okay, we
- 1:14Speaker 1: gotta let's wrap it up.
- 1:15Speaker 5: It was super super fun and then I was like,
- 1:18Speaker 5: I need to go to bed now. Thank you, thank
- 1:20Speaker 5: you so much.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I'm so tirled.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Be yea, how you doing. I'm doing good?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Excited This weekend, I get to go up to the cabin, yeah,
- 1:31Speaker 1: which I'm very excited about. It will be our first
- 1:34Speaker 1: trip this year. And then and then I get to
- 1:37Speaker 1: see all the boys. We're going to shoot a music video.
- 1:39Speaker 1: We're going to open up for Clinton Black. It's it's
- 1:43Speaker 1: starting to.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Starting to happen, starting to pick up a little bit nice,
- 1:46Speaker 5: starting to pick up where you where?
- 1:49Speaker 1: We're doing that out in Morehead, Minnesota.
- 1:52Speaker 5: It's called the Blue Stem Amphitheater. I don't think I know.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I didn't know it either, but excited for that. But
- 2:00Speaker 1: as I'm talking about it, I don't know when we're
- 2:02Speaker 1: going to record the next two weeks.
- 2:06Speaker 5: We'll figure we might have a week off pretty soon,
- 2:09Speaker 5: which might be okay. Yeah, you know things are happening
- 2:13Speaker 5: that the happening. Summertime gets a little it's a little
- 2:16Speaker 5: crazy for us, but yeah, figure out so we'll see nice.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So be patient with us.
- 2:21Speaker 5: Well better more than less. Wait what uh? What the town?
- 2:26Speaker 5: You know? Oh?
- 2:27Speaker 1: Yes, yes, definitely I'm with you.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Any who is all? Have you been watching any films lately?
- 2:36Speaker 1: I have. I went to the theater and I checked
- 2:38Speaker 1: out the new Ryan Coogler film Sinners.
- 2:42Speaker 5: He did it ladies and gentlemen. He wasn't sick. He's
- 2:46Speaker 5: ready here to tell me everything.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you beat me to it. You talked about it
- 2:52Speaker 1: a couple episodes ago. But yeah, I was so happy
- 2:55Speaker 1: that I went into this movie cold. I had seen
- 2:58Speaker 1: images from trailers, but I never really knew what was
- 3:01Speaker 1: going on, and it was all a big surprise for me.
- 3:05Speaker 1: All that I knew was that there was fire involved
- 3:08Speaker 1: at some point, because there was that shot of Michael B.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Jordan looking at something on fire. Oh yeah, that was
- 3:15Speaker 1: about all I knew there.
- 3:19Speaker 5: In this universe. That's about all I got.
- 3:21Speaker 1: That's all I got, and I'm hearing it's amazing. I'm
- 3:25Speaker 1: not gonna look into it anymore. I thought it was incredible.
- 3:30Speaker 1: One thing I was super impressed with was the sound
- 3:33Speaker 1: design and the music stood out. Yeah, I loved it.
- 3:41Speaker 1: It is very violent, very bloody. If that is not
- 3:44Speaker 1: your thing, don't check it out. Yes, But if you
- 3:48Speaker 1: don't mind that stuff, it's really really awesome. It's a
- 3:51Speaker 1: fun original film with great performances from Michael B. Jordan
- 3:56Speaker 1: and Hailey Steinfeld. So I was stoked.
- 4:01Speaker 5: I love it. I encourage everyone to go see it, unless,
- 4:04Speaker 5: like you said they don't like that kind of movie,
- 4:07Speaker 5: but it is.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's it's pretty graphic. It is pretty
- 4:10Speaker 1: and it's.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Definitely like horror adjacent at the very least.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Right yep, but that was yeah, in to the gory
- 4:19Speaker 1: stuff for sure.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yes, by the ways, it feels more kind of thrillery.
- 4:22Speaker 5: But that's true. That's a good point.
- 4:24Speaker 1: It does get there's some horror aspects for sure.
- 4:26Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, but I hope we do an episode on
- 4:30Speaker 5: it at some point. Yeah, that will be Yeah, that
- 4:33Speaker 5: would be fun, super super fun.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Love it for sure. What have you been watching?
- 4:37Speaker 6: Ah?
- 4:37Speaker 5: Well, funny that you bring up a great movie, because
- 4:40Speaker 5: I watched maybe the worst movie I've seen in a
- 4:43Speaker 5: few years. And you know, I don't often have hot
- 4:47Speaker 5: takes about how bad. I watched a movie just on
- 4:50Speaker 5: a whim called take Cover that was on Hulu. Yeah,
- 4:54Speaker 5: you've never heard of it. I never heard of it.
- 4:56Speaker 5: It turns out I wish i'd never heard of it
- 4:59Speaker 5: before I saw this cover. The reason I watched it,
- 5:02Speaker 5: Alice Eve is on the call. She's on the cover
- 5:05Speaker 5: like the title page or the get it and I
- 5:08Speaker 5: love her. Uh. And then it sounded cool. It was
- 5:11Speaker 5: like a burned out professional sniper finds himself trapped in
- 5:14Speaker 5: an all glass penthouse by a lethal competitor and must
- 5:17Speaker 5: find a way to survive. And I was like, well
- 5:19Speaker 5: that seems kind of interesting, like let's go for it.
- 5:22Speaker 5: It sucked. She's not even first build now, and I
- 5:26Speaker 5: don't know anybody else.
- 5:27Speaker 1: In that movie.
- 5:28Speaker 5: I don't either. She is mearely in it, yeah, which
- 5:33Speaker 5: made me sad on so many levels. I just think
- 5:36Speaker 5: she's really good. But yeah, this apparently this guy is
- 5:41Speaker 5: like an MMA fighter or something. I don't know. It's
- 5:45Speaker 5: just it's really like ham fistedly crafted. It's stupid.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It's so bad you don't even have to keep going.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I will not watch it so to.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Save yourselves in general. Then, uh yeah, it just sucked.
- 6:02Speaker 5: And it was it's not rated, which I thought maybe
- 6:05Speaker 5: was like, oh, they're going to push the envelope. I
- 6:07Speaker 5: think it's just no one wanted to watch it to
- 6:09Speaker 5: rate it. Yeah, nobody rated it because they no one's
- 6:12Speaker 5: going to see this word. Okay, I don't care.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I don't care enough to rate it. I rate it boring. Yeah, yeah, boring.
- 6:19Speaker 5: I gave it a one on IMDb, but only because
- 6:21Speaker 5: I think you have. I think that's the highest you
- 6:23Speaker 5: can do, right, lowest, mean for the lowest you can
- 6:26Speaker 5: do while still marking rating it. Yeah, it sucked hard
- 6:32Speaker 5: and I'm sad, so it's too bad. But you know
- 6:35Speaker 5: it was short. I did have that going for it, Yeah,
- 6:39Speaker 5: which is nice. That's good. Yeah, don't watch it, gang,
- 6:44Speaker 5: What have you been streaming?
- 6:46Speaker 1: I went and watched a newer Netflix series called Adolescence?
- 6:51Speaker 5: Have you heard about this?
- 6:53Speaker 1: Oh?
- 6:53Speaker 5: This is a bummer, right, Like, isn't it? Kind of?
- 6:56Speaker 1: It's a bummer heavy. It's sad, but so him and
- 7:00Speaker 1: Sammy were telling me a little bit about it. I
- 7:02Speaker 1: really hadn't heard anything about the show. But there's four
- 7:06Speaker 1: almost hour long episodes. I think the last episode is
- 7:10Speaker 1: over an hour, and each episode is shot in a
- 7:15Speaker 1: one take.
- 7:15Speaker 5: That's like the one thing I've also heard about it
- 7:17Speaker 5: is it's one take city as well, which is crazy.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Yeah, so there must have been weeks of rehearsal. They
- 7:25Speaker 1: do some really amazing shots that span over great distances,
- 7:30Speaker 1: like all in one shot, which just blows my mind.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Really incredible. But like you said, the story is pretty depressing.
- 7:39Speaker 5: It's like a teenager, right or something. Yep, Yep, a
- 7:43Speaker 5: teenager is a teenager is accused of killing a classmate.
- 7:50Speaker 5: That that's the main deal. OK.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And so each episode they go from like different kind
- 7:56Speaker 1: of perspectives and but yeah, the act this is insane.
- 8:02Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Man Steven Graham, who's been in so many different things.
- 8:06Speaker 1: He's one of those actors where you're like, I know
- 8:09Speaker 1: that guy, but I don't know his name. He played
- 8:13Speaker 1: Capone in Boardwalk Empire. That's what stuck out to me.
- 8:17Speaker 1: But he's been in so many movies. Is just kind
- 8:20Speaker 1: of a small character role.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Oh yeah, wasn't he so many snatchtock snatch guy, richie guy. Yeah,
- 8:32Speaker 5: but he.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Is absolutely incredible in this. He also like wrote it
- 8:36Speaker 1: and created this, so he's going to be up. He's
- 8:39Speaker 1: going to be up for some awards for sure. But yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 1: I was very entertained. I certainly didn't leave the experience
- 8:47Speaker 1: super happy. But it is an amazing show and I
- 8:51Speaker 1: highly highly recommend it.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Nice. I'll have to check that out for sure.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you'll appreciate it, for sure. It Yeah, have you
- 8:59Speaker 1: been streaming anything?
- 9:01Speaker 5: Yeah? I streamed a movie and I can't forgive me
- 9:03Speaker 5: if I've talked about it or just let me know
- 9:05Speaker 5: if I've talked about it. Angels and Demons I watched recently.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Did I say that one? You did?
- 9:10Speaker 1: But that might have just been to our patrons.
- 9:14Speaker 5: I couldn't remember that, so I'll just I'll just do
- 9:17Speaker 5: a two for one here. But I watched Da Vinci
- 9:20Speaker 5: Code and Angels and Demons. I watched Angels and Demons
- 9:24Speaker 5: because after the Pope had passed away, I was like, oh,
- 9:27Speaker 5: that'd be kind of fun to watch a movie about
- 9:30Speaker 5: Conclave and all those things. And I'd just seen Conclave,
- 9:33Speaker 5: so I wanted to watch something else, you know. But
- 9:36Speaker 5: I watched the Da Vinci Code as well. They're both
- 9:39Speaker 5: still really fun. They're not like perfect movies, but they
- 9:43Speaker 5: remind me of a fun time when we were reading
- 9:45Speaker 5: those books in the summers and stuff. Loved it. This
- 9:48Speaker 5: is a great time, And you know, they're still fun.
- 9:51Speaker 5: The movies they're just not like as good. I feel like,
- 9:55Speaker 5: you know, they're a little bit more like throwaway or something.
- 9:59Speaker 1: It's funny whenever Tom Hanks comes up on those like
- 10:02Speaker 1: movie grid games that I play a lot of times,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I'll use those because people just kind of forget about
- 10:08Speaker 1: those movies.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Yeah, that makes sense I can kind of understand why.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Although I think Angels and Demons is the better of
- 10:15Speaker 5: the two of them, I.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Think I liked I liked both of those. It was
- 10:19Speaker 1: more the third one that I didn't think was great.
- 10:21Speaker 1: And I love Ben Foster Inferno.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Oh I never actually even saw that. I don't think.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not as good, that's as good as those two.
- 10:29Speaker 5: That's probably why I didn't see And honestly, yeah, but yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 5: they're still fun. They're you know, suspensey kind of mystery
- 10:37Speaker 5: movies and a lot of like history stuff that may
- 10:40Speaker 5: or may not be true. I don't really you know,
- 10:42Speaker 5: I don't know enough about it, but really compelling books
- 10:46Speaker 5: that I really liked for like summertime reads. Like I said,
- 10:49Speaker 5: but you know, if you're into those movies, go check
- 10:52Speaker 5: them out. They were on yeah, very good time. I
- 10:54Speaker 5: think they were both on Hulu as well, so Hulu
- 10:56Speaker 5: Heavy week food. Yeah. So but yeah, that's fun.
- 11:02Speaker 1: That's cool, man.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Yeah, should we do if you plug runs? Yeah? Nice?
- 11:06Speaker 5: You guys can possess as always over on the Twitter

- 12:04Speaker 1: that pertains to the movie we're talking about, and we.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Thought it would be fun to do our top five.
- 12:10Speaker 1: My good Cane comes for this one, which is fun.
- 12:15Speaker 5: It is fun. Yeah, I had more than I thought too.
- 12:17Speaker 5: I wasn't too many behind you, which is pretty coo.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I had counted twenty two. I think
- 12:22Speaker 1: I had missed one, and I realized I hadn't rated it,
- 12:26Speaker 1: so I think I had twenty three at you I
- 12:29Speaker 1: have eighteen. Still pretty good, pretty good. We could have
- 12:33Speaker 1: had another guest on for this.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I was wrong. I got scared. I got scared.
- 12:38Speaker 5: But instead we told everyone to stay the hell away,
- 12:42Speaker 5: stay away. We didn't. We have to ask them. We
- 12:45Speaker 5: have to ask a lot, a lot and plead and
- 12:49Speaker 5: just say maybe we'll work around whatever you have going on.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Please be with us. That is partially true, but yeah, true.
- 12:59Speaker 5: We will look forward to that. That'll be a ton
- 13:01Speaker 5: of fun coming attractions. Don't worry about it. We don't
- 13:04Speaker 5: know when we're going to record. We don't know what
- 13:06Speaker 5: we're going to record. Life is a buffet that we
- 13:10Speaker 5: will figure out when we get in line. We will.
- 13:13Speaker 1: We're going to have to figure that out at some point.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Great line by me. But we're here today to talk
- 13:19Speaker 5: about a lovely film called Miss Congeniality. Yay, and uh,
- 13:26Speaker 5: you know Rob and I were we're beauty pageant people.
- 13:29Speaker 5: You know, I'm sorry. We are a scholarship competition people.
- 13:35Speaker 5: I think it's one of the.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Sure we are and we're just so congenial.
- 13:38Speaker 5: We're very congenial. I mean, yeah, people are always saying it.
- 13:43Speaker 5: They're always they're so congenial, so congenial. So we're going
- 13:47Speaker 5: to talk about that. I just realized I don't really
- 13:49Speaker 5: need like a ramp up into this because we're just
- 13:51Speaker 5: going to keep going. This is slating its twenty fifth
- 13:54Speaker 5: anniversary and.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Two in the two thousand.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Yeah, oh yeah. But should we scare right into it?
- 14:04Speaker 5: You want to hit us with that rough synopsis?
- 14:07Speaker 1: I would like to. That would be fun.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Okay.
- 14:09Speaker 7: When a terrorist threatens to bomb the Miss United States pageant,
- 14:13Speaker 7: the FBI rush is to find a female agent to
- 14:16Speaker 7: go undercover as a contestant. Unfortunately, Gracie is the only
- 14:21Speaker 7: female FBI agent who can look the part, despite her
- 14:25Speaker 7: complete lack of refinement and femininity. She prides herself in
- 14:30Speaker 7: being just one of the boys and is horrified at
- 14:34Speaker 7: the idea of becoming a girly girl.
- 14:37Speaker 5: A girly girl. That's read, that's read.
- 14:40Speaker 1: That's how they ended.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Let's talk about miss.
- 14:44Speaker 7: A terrorist that.
- 14:47Speaker 5: I loved it. It's perfect and I loved it. Let's
- 14:51Speaker 5: go to Rotten to Models and hear what they have
- 14:53Speaker 5: to say. Critics have this coming in at our rock
- 14:56Speaker 5: solid for so that's pretty great. Not our wor far
- 15:01Speaker 5: from our best, you know, but they're dumb. What do
- 15:05Speaker 5: they know? Audience members have it coming in at a
- 15:08Speaker 5: cheeky sixty nine percent. Oh why is it cheeky? Tell
- 15:12Speaker 5: me dinner for two? That's what they say in bingo?
- 15:16Speaker 5: Have you ever heard that? Is so funny? I was
- 15:22Speaker 5: at like a pringo with some old people because it
- 15:25Speaker 5: was Bingo and they said that, and I I lost it.
- 15:29Speaker 5: I didn't rest the car. I was dying. I have
- 15:33Speaker 5: never heard it ever.
- 15:35Speaker 1: That's so funn I am a big fan of that.
- 15:37Speaker 5: It's real fun. Add it to the repertoire. Please, I
- 15:40Speaker 5: will insist sixty though not bad, certainly better than critics. Yeah, definitely, yeah,
- 15:50Speaker 5: twenty twenty eight better? Oh nice, good for you. He's
- 15:56Speaker 5: our math guy, which isn't saying a lot for us.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Let's go. No, it's not about our hot take.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Hot take.
- 16:05Speaker 5: That's a hot take.
- 16:07Speaker 1: That's a hot take, hot hot wax old. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: she used hot wax. Hot the crown blew up.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Oh there you go in sundiary device. Yes, yes, ouch,
- 16:23Speaker 5: that's good. That's yeah, really good. I'll go first on
- 16:27Speaker 5: this one. I love this movie. I think it's a
- 16:29Speaker 5: ton of ton of fun. Uh, Sandy b what a delight, really,
- 16:34Speaker 5: my gosh.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Just really fun.
- 16:37Speaker 5: It does play into sort of you know, like gender
- 16:40Speaker 5: role stuff that's you know, kind of like not great,
- 16:42Speaker 5: but it's mostly in a pretty like, you know, happy
- 16:46Speaker 5: go lucky kind of thing. They're not really trying to
- 16:48Speaker 5: say anything, you know, it's not like high brow at all.
- 16:55Speaker 5: I wouldn't say, but yeah, just a fun movie with
- 17:00Speaker 5: a lot there's some highbrows with a lot of a
- 17:04Speaker 5: lot of like mixture of physical comedy as well as
- 17:07Speaker 5: just silly moments. We have some great cameos and just
- 17:11Speaker 5: the camaraderie between the gals is all really fun and
- 17:15Speaker 5: silly and you know all that. Uh yeah, don't feel
- 17:19Speaker 5: like I have super hot takes for this movie. I
- 17:21Speaker 5: just really enjoy it. The music in it is way
- 17:24Speaker 5: cooler than I remember, like the soundtrack. I liked it
- 17:27Speaker 5: a lot. One in me. Yeah, I love that. We
- 17:31Speaker 5: have some trivia about the special song that they sing
- 17:34Speaker 5: for the ladies. Oh that'll come later, sticker. Oh what
- 17:38Speaker 5: a tease. I'm a big tease. Big tea's just like
- 17:41Speaker 5: they tease their hair. I don't know they do that great.
- 17:46Speaker 5: I think my hottest take is uh not the not
- 17:50Speaker 5: the whole contest. But I really think Miscongeniality is an
- 17:54Speaker 5: award I could win. I really think I could go
- 17:56Speaker 5: for that if I was in a competition. I'm a
- 17:59Speaker 5: real friendly, everybody's doing great kind of guy. I think
- 18:02Speaker 5: it would work.
- 18:03Speaker 1: You'd be a lock, it would really work. So I
- 18:06Speaker 1: would for sure bet on that good call.
- 18:09Speaker 5: So, yes, if we're ever in that scenario, I think
- 18:12Speaker 5: we can count on that. If nothing else, I think so.
- 18:14Speaker 5: I think you're right. Hot takes bruh, that's my hot take.
- 18:18Speaker 7: That is hot.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I thought that this was a very cute movie. It's
- 18:27Speaker 1: directed by Donald Peatree. I love his dishes. He has
- 18:32Speaker 1: made some other feel good comedies such as like Grumpy
- 18:35Speaker 1: Old Men, Richie Rich How to Lose a.
- 18:39Speaker 5: Guy in Ten Days? Ever heard of it? I did
- 18:42Speaker 5: all these? Yes, Oh, no, wonder I love this movie
- 18:45Speaker 5: like all those. That's great.
- 18:46Speaker 1: He knows his way around a comedy. Wonderful. It was
- 18:49Speaker 1: written by Mark Lawrence, who's done a few Sandy Bee
- 18:52Speaker 1: projects like Forces of Nature and after Miscongeniality, he wrote
- 18:57Speaker 1: and directed Two Weeks Notice with in Hugh Grant, and
- 19:03Speaker 1: he did mis congeniality too. And then he also did
- 19:06Speaker 1: another rom com that I love called Music and Lyrics.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Do you remember that one?
- 19:11Speaker 5: Oh yeah, what was Hugh.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Grant and Drew barrymore More.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, he's like you would love that.
- 19:18Speaker 1: It's exactly yea if you haven't seen.
- 19:20Speaker 5: It, no, I definitely have because he has a huge
- 19:22Speaker 5: piano like in his cool apartment right and stuff. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 5: that is a great movie. That was a fun forgot
- 19:29Speaker 5: about that movie a little bit.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it made When I looked at his credits, I
- 19:33Speaker 1: was like, oh, yeah, I really liked that one.
- 19:35Speaker 5: That's great.
- 19:36Speaker 1: But yeah, Sandy b makes this movie worth watching. She's
- 19:40Speaker 1: just an absolute treasure. I can't imagine I would have
- 19:43Speaker 1: been super into this movie without her as the lead role.
- 19:48Speaker 1: There are some funny lines, uh, there's some pretty okay performances.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Kind of a weak movie for like the bad guy
- 19:56Speaker 1: and their like motivation. It wasn't like.
- 19:59Speaker 5: About No, not really at all.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But I also don't have anything too profound to say
- 20:09Speaker 1: it was. It was pretty good and it made Sandra
- 20:11Speaker 1: Bullock shine even brighter.
- 20:13Speaker 5: My hot take.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Yeah, they did their best to try and make Sandra
- 20:17Speaker 1: book unattractive and they just still failed miserably. The time
- 20:23Speaker 1: was one of those.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Come on, man, she's still beautiful.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Right, I know, it's like the She's all that where
- 20:29Speaker 1: she just has glasses on and then takes them off
- 20:32Speaker 1: just like.
- 20:32Speaker 5: Oh moment, Like oh my god.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I always find that so silly, Like I feel like
- 20:40Speaker 1: you need to go way over the top to make
- 20:43Speaker 1: that like happen.
- 20:44Speaker 5: But it was like, okay looking and then just gussy
- 20:48Speaker 5: him up a little bit.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I don't know, but yeah, but she's just so stunning.
- 20:53Speaker 1: The big reveal though, was it was impressive, like they
- 20:57Speaker 1: really it worked, but she's still just so pretty, you know. Yeah,
- 21:04Speaker 1: that was my hoddest hot take.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Hot should we talk about our favorite acting performance? The dude?
- 21:13Speaker 5: The dude?
- 21:15Speaker 6: I'm the dude, so that's what you call me, you
- 21:18Speaker 6: know that? Or his dude or duder or you know,
- 21:24Speaker 6: el dud reno. If you're not into the whole brevity thing,
- 21:26Speaker 6: you want.
- 21:27Speaker 1: To go first, Yes, I do, okay, because I got
- 21:30Speaker 1: a hot take Sandra Bullock Sander book.
- 21:34Speaker 5: Can you believe are someone other than Sandy?
- 21:39Speaker 1: She completely rocked this role out.
- 21:42Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You had kind of alluded to it in your your take,
- 21:46Speaker 1: but I was so impressed with her physical.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Comedy, so funny at that stuff.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Falling over a bunch, just being clumsy.
- 21:57Speaker 5: All the fighting I was impressed.
- 21:59Speaker 1: With, like all of the the self defense stuff was
- 22:02Speaker 1: looked like she was really doing it. And but yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 1: I mean she she can do funny, she can do
- 22:08Speaker 1: the the parts that get a little more heart stringy. Totally, well, totally,
- 22:14Speaker 1: She's just she's incredible. I've always enjoyed her since I
- 22:20Speaker 1: first saw her in Demolition Man in nineteen ninety three,
- 22:23Speaker 1: so I'm a big fan of her.
- 22:26Speaker 5: Do you think like she was just kind of been
- 22:29Speaker 5: funny stuff the whole time, right, because she's really funny
- 22:34Speaker 5: in this movie. Oh yeah, I mean all of those,
- 22:38Speaker 5: all those action movies.
- 22:39Speaker 1: She was like saying the funny quip.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, even Demolition Man, like you said like,
- 22:45Speaker 5: oh for sure, you can take this job and shovel
- 22:49Speaker 5: it and shovel it, just not quite doesn't quite get it.
- 22:52Speaker 1: That's not right there. Yeah, yeah, Sandy b.
- 22:56Speaker 5: A clean sweep. Totally agree. I'm kind of with you.
- 22:59Speaker 5: I don't know, other people could have absolutely been in
- 23:03Speaker 5: that part and it probably would have been okay, but
- 23:05Speaker 5: it wouldn't have been the same movie, I don't think,
- 23:08Speaker 5: and so good at this stuff, Like she is down
- 23:12Speaker 5: to earth but also like believable as the badass, but
- 23:16Speaker 5: also you know, so great. She looks great, she's friendly.
- 23:19Speaker 5: It's just wonderful. She's so good in this. I love it. Yeah,
- 23:25Speaker 5: I don't think I really have more than that. Honestly,
- 23:27Speaker 5: she's so funny. Like you said, her physical comedies was
- 23:30Speaker 5: the surprise at the time for me, and I still am.
- 23:33Speaker 5: Just like, she's just so effortlessly good at that is
- 23:35Speaker 5: what it feels like. I'm sure a lot of effort
- 23:37Speaker 5: and care goes into it. But yeah, I guess. So
- 23:41Speaker 5: she's my dude, she's your dude.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about some of these supporting roles and
- 23:47Speaker 1: let's choose the two gl what I'll give you the
- 23:53Speaker 1: easy one, you go first.
- 23:55Speaker 5: Yeah, the Teacher Award could be called the My Cocaine Award.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I think that would be pretty great. He was just
- 24:00Speaker 1: a leading man back in the day. So it doesn't
- 24:02Speaker 1: quite work.
- 24:03Speaker 5: I mean, we were so smart calling it the Stanley Tucci.
- 24:06Speaker 5: We can all agree, I think, so we can all
- 24:07Speaker 5: think so.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I mean, he almost never leads a film. He always
- 24:11Speaker 1: makes it better it's true.
- 24:13Speaker 5: But Michael Caine is just he's so so great in
- 24:16Speaker 5: this Like he's the perfect amount of like snooty about
- 24:20Speaker 5: the competition, but also does a really good job bringing
- 24:24Speaker 5: her along. But you know, like and he's so funny
- 24:27Speaker 5: and so I don't know, he's just great, so charming.
- 24:30Speaker 5: I love him. He's just wonder He really is, man,
- 24:34Speaker 5: he really is. And he's just that guy. I don't know.
- 24:37Speaker 5: He's so believable in all these roles where he's just
- 24:39Speaker 5: like this kind of swave like debonair, dude. I love it.
- 24:43Speaker 5: It's really wonderful.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it was fun seeing him take because I've never
- 24:46Speaker 1: seen him do anything like this before.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Yeah, he killed it. He knocked it right out of
- 24:51Speaker 5: the pack. Absolutely wonderful, wonderful.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Obviously, Yes, I clearly picked him as well, stand out
- 25:03Speaker 1: for all the reasons you said. He's just wonderful. My
- 25:06Speaker 1: runner up when I think of this movie, Miss Rhode
- 25:11Speaker 1: Island is who I think is great because just that
- 25:16Speaker 1: voice is so silly. Her name is Heather Burns. She
- 25:20Speaker 1: did such a good job. I think of her one
- 25:23Speaker 1: I know it'll come up in quote.
- 25:24Speaker 5: It's the one, the quote of the movie.
- 25:27Speaker 1: It's incredible and she just yeah, she plays it's this
- 25:34Speaker 1: weird line of like super ditsy what you think of
- 25:37Speaker 1: for a pageant person, but then just so sweet, so sweet,
- 25:42Speaker 1: Like a lot of those people feel like you think
- 25:45Speaker 1: that it's more like backstabby and that they want to win,
- 25:48Speaker 1: but she's just so supportive of everybody and wants She's like, oh,
- 25:53Speaker 1: you're gonna win, you are, because you're just wonder Like
- 25:57Speaker 1: she just like love bombs people, which was yeah, just
- 26:00Speaker 1: fun to watch. I enjoyed her performance a lot.
- 26:03Speaker 5: And I love too that you're just like, yeah, I
- 26:05Speaker 5: like her, Like immediately you're just like, yeah, she's cool.
- 26:08Speaker 5: I like her. Yeah, you know, like okay, yeah, she's
- 26:11Speaker 5: just a sweet lady. It's really fun. I love that pick.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Yeah shout out to I know her her character is
- 26:19Speaker 5: not all that great as a bad guy, but Candice
- 26:23Speaker 5: Bergen is just always great. I feel like it's just
- 26:25Speaker 5: wonderful to have her.
- 26:27Speaker 1: You know, it was just the it was written, the
- 26:29Speaker 1: plot was exactly. She was great.
- 26:32Speaker 5: I love her character, just not as a bad guy,
- 26:35Speaker 5: yeah exactly. She's just so snooty and you know, has
- 26:39Speaker 5: all her snide comments and I just love it. I
- 26:42Speaker 5: think it's kind of fun. She's like sort of the
- 26:44Speaker 5: pageant mom too, which is kind of William Shatner hilarious
- 26:50Speaker 5: so much. I kind of remembered him being in it more,
- 26:52Speaker 5: which maybe he's in the second one way more, I
- 26:55Speaker 5: guess or something. But he's really funny and the parts he's.
- 26:58Speaker 1: In like he's dude whim. Shatner is also a treasure. Yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 1: it's so funny, Like what is what an interesting career
- 27:05Speaker 1: he's had to go from, like, you know, top of
- 27:09Speaker 1: the world, Captain Kirk. Everybody thinks you're the coolest. And
- 27:13Speaker 1: he did some other stuff too, like TJ Hooker and
- 27:15Speaker 1: like he was kind of mister TV guy. But then
- 27:18Speaker 1: I felt like he took a left and was just
- 27:21Speaker 1: doing like goofy silly kind of making fun of himself
- 27:24Speaker 1: kind of roles totally, which is so fun.
- 27:26Speaker 5: And I love him. Yeah, yeah, me too, man. I
- 27:28Speaker 5: think it's great And he's really funny in this too,
- 27:33Speaker 5: And yeah, do you want to shout out anybody else specifically.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Benjamin Bratt, another demolition man. I loved him in this.
- 27:42Speaker 1: He was pretty fun. He had some lines that weren't
- 27:45Speaker 1: super great, but.
- 27:47Speaker 5: He kind of had to put it the like sort
- 27:48Speaker 5: of like machismo misogynist at point.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, but he was still good in that. I thought,
- 27:55Speaker 1: I've always liked him.
- 27:57Speaker 5: I didn't make the connection that he's in modern family.
- 28:00Speaker 5: He's Manny's dad, and I've never like coupled together that
- 28:06Speaker 5: these were all the same, you know what I mean, Like, yeah, yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 5: because they were at such different points in his life
- 28:11Speaker 5: or whatever.
- 28:11Speaker 1: But right, yeah, yeah, he's he's usually pretty solid. And
- 28:15Speaker 1: then a big shout out to Ernie Hudson love Ernie. Hell,
- 28:19Speaker 1: he was great as the guy in charge. He lives here.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Did you know that he's in Minneapolis.
- 28:25Speaker 5: And he lives in Stillwater? Apparently that's what I've heard
- 28:28Speaker 5: for a number of years. Anyway, isn't that weird? I
- 28:31Speaker 5: have no idea from here. I don't think he's from
- 28:34Speaker 5: I think he married a gal from here or Somethingernie
- 28:38Speaker 5: on the.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Pop, Oh my god, that would be, wouldn't that be?
- 28:42Speaker 1: Just feel like, hey, we'll come out to still Water.
- 28:44Speaker 5: We'll go wherever you need us to go, sir. Yeah,
- 28:47Speaker 5: but yeah, he's great anyway, I'm with you.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he was super fun and he's still so handsome because.
- 28:54Speaker 5: He must be like a reasonably old guy in that
- 28:56Speaker 5: right at that point.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yeah, ish, I mean definitely now twenty five years later.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Yeah, but he must have been like fifty or something, right, Yeah, handsome.
- 29:07Speaker 5: Good for him, yeah, good for him. For him.
- 29:09Speaker 1: He was the only other person I wrote down though.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Let me look at my left chairs or navigated away. Yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 5: me too. Great. The other guys were fun, but no
- 29:20Speaker 5: one else got really much screen time or anything. You know. No,
- 29:25Speaker 5: not a lot of character development in general in this movie.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I would say the sun.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Oh he is my least favorite part of the movie.
- 29:35Speaker 5: He did Monroe, Steve Monroe, sorry.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Steve Monroe, Frank Tobin. That didn't do anything.
- 29:42Speaker 5: Now, that didn't make a lot of sense. No, yeah,
- 29:46Speaker 5: I'm with you, so whatever. Not a two CHI award.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Now, well, let's keep going. Let's pick our favorite scene.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Let's choose the dingo.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Thank you sons is quite simple, really ingus. I can
- 30:00Speaker 5: talk about my dingas all night long.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I wrote down one, just one, but it's cheating because
- 30:09Speaker 1: it's a lot of the movie. So it's Yeah, it's
- 30:13Speaker 1: the meeting of my and I would like. I love
- 30:18Speaker 1: that meeting in the restaurant. It's so fun. And then
- 30:21Speaker 1: I'd also roll it into the makeover at the hangar, Yes,
- 30:29Speaker 1: with so many people.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, it's like.
- 30:33Speaker 1: It's like the set of like et get all the
- 30:37Speaker 1: people and then just that reveal of her walking and
- 30:42Speaker 1: you're just like, holy you uh yeah you get you
- 30:48Speaker 1: get really nice looking. Yeah, but then she's like hilarious
- 30:54Speaker 1: and falls and it's.
- 30:55Speaker 5: Just feels so many times in this movie. And they're
- 30:59Speaker 5: also good, all great, they're all great with you.
- 31:02Speaker 1: But yeah, I just love how sassy he is to her,
- 31:06Speaker 1: well just straight up rude to her.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Really.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Yeah, all of the transformation was just really fun.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I love that nice. That's really fun. So that's
- 31:17Speaker 5: a lot of the movie. It's a big chee. I
- 31:18Speaker 5: love that montage though, So I'm one hundred percent with you.
- 31:21Speaker 5: I had that written down. I also just enjoyed that
- 31:25Speaker 5: entire I also picked like a pretty big swath of
- 31:28Speaker 5: the movie, but that entire end night of the competition,
- 31:33Speaker 5: you know, when she's back and she's trying to do
- 31:36Speaker 5: the dance and like everyone thinks she lost and that's
- 31:39Speaker 5: why she's freaking out about don't take the crown. Oh
- 31:44Speaker 5: S's genuinely really funny to me. Shatner. Just Shatner just
- 31:51Speaker 5: keeps being like, Oh, he's just trying to make the
- 31:53Speaker 5: show go on, trying to suck.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Great, dude, did you ever know that home Free we
- 31:59Speaker 1: collaborated with him.
- 32:01Speaker 5: What did you guys do a rocketman or something? No?
- 32:03Speaker 1: Well, I mean he's kind of like speak singing.
- 32:08Speaker 5: Yeah we did that. Yeah, And I.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Was like, we have to do a music video for this.
- 32:13Speaker 1: This was years ago.
- 32:15Speaker 5: I probably can't even know now that you say that,
- 32:17Speaker 5: but I don't remember for sure.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I can't even think of the name of it.
- 32:21Speaker 5: That's was it released.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't just lost in you know, we just
- 32:27Speaker 1: we never did a music video for it, Like we
- 32:29Speaker 1: could never connect with him, which makes sense.
- 32:32Speaker 5: He'd be like, I'm okay.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm okay, I'm good.
- 32:39Speaker 7: Why not me?
- 32:41Speaker 1: And dude Neil McCoy was on it.
- 32:45Speaker 5: We had gotten Uh.
- 32:46Speaker 1: The reason that it even happened was it was through
- 32:49Speaker 1: Jeff Cook from Alabama.
- 32:51Speaker 5: That makes sense.
- 32:53Speaker 1: So those two and then he was like, well, I've
- 32:55Speaker 1: been kind of like working with these guys and so
- 32:57Speaker 1: it just kind of worked me. We were on on
- 33:00Speaker 1: his album. It's like the title track, why not me?
- 33:04Speaker 5: Wow? No, I definitely didn't remember that. That's weird and fun.
- 33:08Speaker 5: I love that, and that's fun.
- 33:10Speaker 1: I got one degree of separation even though I've never
- 33:12Speaker 1: met him.
- 33:15Speaker 5: He like heard you guys. Seems like I'm done with them.
- 33:17Speaker 5: I don't need to do anythingmore.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't be free. I can't make them out.
- 33:21Speaker 5: Of those guys. They're not home, nor are they free.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Bo hello, ah, that's really funny. Oh you said you
- 33:30Speaker 5: only wrote down one, right.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I wrote on the pageant stuff too,
- 33:35Speaker 1: just because their pageant scenes are cute.
- 33:38Speaker 5: This was a harder one to pick, like a scene,
- 33:40Speaker 5: because it does these comedies sometimes they just feel like
- 33:43Speaker 5: you're kind of going like little boop to boop, you know,
- 33:46Speaker 5: and a little bit.
- 33:48Speaker 1: If I had to pick more, like like just a
- 33:51Speaker 1: scene like when Gracie and Rhode Island are kind of
- 33:57Speaker 1: having their heart to heart.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Oh yeah, like that, Like.
- 34:01Speaker 1: That was nice. That was good world building, character development.
- 34:07Speaker 1: And then I also liked when she got the award.
- 34:09Speaker 5: It was really sweet. Yeah, really fun. I liked too
- 34:13Speaker 5: when the talent thing came up and Michael Caine is
- 34:15Speaker 5: just like, all right, well I'm out of here. I
- 34:19Speaker 5: was never told I had to do this so this
- 34:21Speaker 5: is over. Like that was just a fun little moment.
- 34:23Speaker 5: I liked that she has no talent.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Well, you don't have to say it right in front
- 34:27Speaker 1: of it, come on, she's right there.
- 34:31Speaker 5: That's fun, fun, good clean fun. But I think for sure, yeah, god,
- 34:38Speaker 5: I'm downright. Yeah. It's so that walk out of the hangar,
- 34:42Speaker 5: and I like the pure number of people they bring in,
- 34:47Speaker 5: like as if it's this like industrial job. It's really
- 34:51Speaker 5: funny to me.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and they're freaking out, just like I don't know
- 34:54Speaker 1: if I'm going to be able to get this tangle
- 34:56Speaker 1: out or whatever. I misquoted that, but yeah, I.
- 35:03Speaker 5: Guess we're getting into some quotes here, so let's pick
- 35:05Speaker 5: that that's the dingus. Let's go into our favorite quotes.
- 35:09Speaker 5: Let's show me the money Show started off, buddy, it
- 35:21Speaker 5: was at the beginning. I didn't remember this line, but
- 35:24Speaker 5: it cracked me up. You're not killing anyone, you peanut
- 35:27Speaker 5: eating bastard. That just really struck me as funny. That
- 35:32Speaker 5: is funny. That that was fun. Let's see, Oh, Michael
- 35:39Speaker 5: Kain is talking about past years and he's like, that
- 35:41Speaker 5: year we lost to the winner who was a deaf
- 35:44Speaker 5: beat You can't beat that. You can't beat that. It's
- 35:47Speaker 5: almost like you can see him a thousand yards stare
- 35:50Speaker 5: in that moment of just like you can't do it,
- 35:52Speaker 5: you can't do it. And also when he's like telling
- 35:56Speaker 5: her how to glide, that scene was pretty funny too,
- 35:59Speaker 5: but he's telling her and he's like, it's all in
- 36:01Speaker 5: the buttocks, don't I look pretty really fun?
- 36:06Speaker 1: It takes a very secure man, yes to watch.
- 36:08Speaker 5: Yes, it's so fun. I just love that. Do you
- 36:13Speaker 5: want to do the line of the movie.
- 36:15Speaker 1: No, I don't need to go for it, keep saying so.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I actually wrote down quite a few.
- 36:19Speaker 5: Describe your perfect day. That's a tough one. I'd have
- 36:23Speaker 5: to say April twenty fifth, because it's not too cold
- 36:27Speaker 5: or not too hot, not too cold, and all you
- 36:29Speaker 5: need is a light jacket.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I mean that line perfect is brilliant, it's perfect.
- 36:36Speaker 5: It's so funny. I get it's really perfect, and she's
- 36:39Speaker 5: not wrong, that's a great day. But it's like, this
- 36:42Speaker 5: is not what they're asking you. Goofball. That's so wonderful.
- 36:47Speaker 5: I love that.
- 36:48Speaker 1: And then she's like I even had an answer, and
- 36:51Speaker 1: then her answer is just super basic, like walking on
- 36:55Speaker 1: the beach and talking about music in movies.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like, okay, is so specific. That's just a good, good,
- 37:10Speaker 5: fun little joke there. I have more. But why did
- 37:14Speaker 5: you say a few years you think I'm.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Going you want to kiss me?
- 37:19Speaker 5: You want to hug me?
- 37:22Speaker 1: That's That's one thing I think about with this movie.
- 37:26Speaker 1: I've definitely stolen that. One that I didn't remember that
- 37:29Speaker 1: I really enjoyed was when she's at the bar eating
- 37:32Speaker 1: the Ben and Jerry's and she says, I'm gonna get
- 37:35Speaker 1: chip faced.
- 37:36Speaker 5: I didn't remember that either, and I loved it into it.
- 37:41Speaker 1: I haven't seen a walk like that since Jurassic Park.
- 37:46Speaker 5: That was good.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Hey, I'm gliding here. When she's gliding the taxi, the
- 37:56Speaker 1: call out to what is that urban cowboy? The Dustin
- 37:59Speaker 1: Hoffman on Midnight Cowboys a taxi driver, it's definitely not
- 38:06Speaker 1: We've talked about Dustin hoff.
- 38:07Speaker 5: And that one. I'm pretty sure.
- 38:14Speaker 1: By the way, what are you planning to do for
- 38:16Speaker 1: your talents?
- 38:16Speaker 5: Sing?
- 38:17Speaker 1: Dance, chew with your mouth closed?
- 38:21Speaker 5: Rude?
- 38:23Speaker 1: He didn't like that. I'm sorry, what was the question?
- 38:25Speaker 1: I was distracted by the half masticated cow rolling around
- 38:29Speaker 1: in your wide open track.
- 38:31Speaker 5: I mean that meal was a travesty. She had like
- 38:33Speaker 5: a steak and ketchup and spaghetti.
- 38:36Speaker 1: I think there was spaghetti.
- 38:38Speaker 5: What the hell is happening on this plate right now?
- 38:41Speaker 5: I get it.
- 38:42Speaker 1: That deserves some judgment for sure, eyebrows. There should be two,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I should I like that.
- 38:51Speaker 5: One really fun, really fun.
- 38:53Speaker 1: One that I didn't remember that I really enjoyed was
- 38:55Speaker 1: what hemorrhoid ointment? You really think the judges are going
- 38:58Speaker 1: to be looking that closely?
- 39:00Speaker 5: It's really good. It's really good. I don't think I
- 39:05Speaker 5: never did either, and I love it so much.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Oh that is because I'm a miserable, grumpy elitist and
- 39:11Speaker 1: that works for me. I like that you can keep going.
- 39:18Speaker 5: I loved it at the beginning when she's like enter
- 39:20Speaker 5: performance in a little film called Arma, Get it on.
- 39:24Speaker 5: I love that. I love a good One of my
- 39:27Speaker 5: favorite parts about her character is she does the snort
- 39:30Speaker 5: when she laughs. She's just like, it's like, so cye,
- 39:35Speaker 5: I love that. Yeah, I'm in a dress, I have
- 39:38Speaker 5: gel in my hair, i haven't slept all night, I'm starved,
- 39:41Speaker 5: and I'm armed. Don't mess with me. Really, that's good.
- 39:45Speaker 5: I think I've used that for a game before at
- 39:47Speaker 5: some point or another. It feels like it. It feels
- 39:50Speaker 5: like it.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I would have never gotten it.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't think anybody did that time, either of
- 39:57Speaker 5: that guy. So after she's seen with Brat right, yes,
- 40:02Speaker 5: she's like, they're like, who's this guy? You can't have
- 40:05Speaker 5: men in your room or whatever, She's like, oh that guy. Yeah,
- 40:07Speaker 5: I was dating him for a while because he had
- 40:09Speaker 5: an incurable disease. I didn't realize it was stupidity, stupidity.
- 40:14Speaker 5: She got him.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Good, dude, you got him got You're like, his ego
- 40:17Speaker 1: is this?
- 40:21Speaker 5: Yeah, it's really great. That was fun. I liked it.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Uh oh, little Alwick looks a widow scaled.
- 40:32Speaker 1: In front of everybody. That wasn't nice.
- 40:36Speaker 5: Do you have a few more.
- 40:38Speaker 1: My teeth? What are you gonna do with my teeth?
- 40:40Speaker 1: Hopefully remove the beer stains and steak residue.
- 40:45Speaker 5: I loved it so much.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Yeah, one really sweet line and then it turned not sweet.
- 40:55Speaker 1: If I'd ever had a daughter, I imagine she might
- 40:57Speaker 1: might have been something like you, which is perhaps why I've.
- 41:00Speaker 5: Never reproduced so good.
- 41:04Speaker 1: That was good, and my last one was the last
- 41:07Speaker 1: time I was this naked in public. I was coming
- 41:09Speaker 1: out of a uterus.
- 41:11Speaker 5: Hell right, you kind of expected so great. I love that. Also.
- 41:18Speaker 5: I think it's during it's one of the dance numbers
- 41:22Speaker 5: when she falls and Shatner just goes, oh, and it's
- 41:29Speaker 5: really funny. I liked that.
- 41:30Speaker 1: It's when she moved on to the top five way there.
- 41:35Speaker 5: Yeah, his little line reading of just oh shit is
- 41:40Speaker 5: so great. I love that so much. And then she
- 41:43Speaker 5: was like, I was like a female rain Man. Oh no,
- 41:46Speaker 5: that that definitely was a rain man. Definitely not rain man.
- 41:50Speaker 5: I thought that was pretty funny. I liked that. Oh,
- 41:58Speaker 5: and we'll be right back with our five or final
- 42:01Speaker 5: five Lesbians interviews. And then the in the equipment room
- 42:07Speaker 5: or the what do they call it, like the production room? Sure,
- 42:10Speaker 5: whatever it is. The one guy's like, can we say lesbians?
- 42:13Speaker 5: And the one just goes you got a problem with that?
- 42:16Speaker 5: You got a problem with that? Pretty fun? I liked that.
- 42:19Speaker 5: I thought that it was fun pretty good.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Control room maybe I don't know what they.
- 42:23Speaker 5: Call control room? There you go nice, nice, Yeah, I
- 42:29Speaker 5: think that was all the ones I had. Boom, that
- 42:33Speaker 5: was nice. Well let's go to the crying game Biggs
- 42:38Speaker 5: boo hooo movements.
- 42:41Speaker 1: So yeah, there, I picked two, and I thought one
- 42:43Speaker 1: of them it was one that I just said in
- 42:46Speaker 1: my show Me the Money Fun. But I thought maybe
- 42:49Speaker 1: at the beginning of this was just the when Michael
- 42:52Speaker 1: Caine says, if you ever had a daughter, she would
- 42:55Speaker 1: be like her because it was sweet. Yeah, then it turned.
- 42:58Speaker 5: I didn't cry there. I think he came in just
- 43:01Speaker 5: a little too quick with the yeah, yeah, that's why
- 43:04Speaker 5: I'll never have children.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Yeah right, but then yeah, just the very end when
- 43:10Speaker 1: she cries because she's honored she got miscake.
- 43:13Speaker 5: Yeah, that part is just sweet, like it's just nice's sweet, it's.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Nice, and the world bees.
- 43:21Speaker 5: Yeah, that's nice.
- 43:22Speaker 1: But I don't think I'm like, maybe there was a
- 43:25Speaker 1: part with Miss Rhode Island during that, but nothing made
- 43:29Speaker 1: me get that close.
- 43:31Speaker 5: So that was all I nice. So it is just one.
- 43:34Speaker 5: But can I tell you the other one? There was
- 43:37Speaker 5: one that I was kind of close and it was
- 43:38Speaker 5: a cute scene and I liked it. It was just
- 43:41Speaker 5: when all the other gals help her put on her
- 43:43Speaker 5: makeup when she comes like get ready in general, when
- 43:46Speaker 5: she comes back, and they're just like girls, and I
- 43:49Speaker 5: just thought it was actually kind of sweet. It was
- 43:51Speaker 5: just you know, they were all just trying to help.
- 43:53Speaker 5: It was cute.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that was nice.
- 43:55Speaker 5: I didn't quite cry, but it was close. So just
- 43:57Speaker 5: one for this one. Yay, nicely done, nicely done. Let's
- 44:02Speaker 5: do a little movie trivia here. So miss Rhode Island's
- 44:06Speaker 5: answer to the question the perfect date question was actually
- 44:10Speaker 5: used as an answer in a real life beauty pageant.
- 44:13Speaker 1: So that really is amazing.
- 44:16Speaker 5: Wonderful love that.
- 44:18Speaker 1: I hope that person got writing credit for this.
- 44:21Speaker 5: So funny. God, that's such as she came up with
- 44:24Speaker 5: a great as such a great answer. I hope she
- 44:27Speaker 5: got extra points because they were like, that's not what
- 44:30Speaker 5: we meant, but good work. M Sandra Bullock purposely didn't
- 44:34Speaker 5: take part in the rehearsals for the first dance scene
- 44:37Speaker 5: so that it was more genuine that her character couldn't
- 44:39Speaker 5: follow the choreography and smart, what a wonderfully easy and
- 44:44Speaker 5: simple but brilliant solution. You know, that's just smart. I
- 44:48Speaker 5: love it. I think I would have opted for that
- 44:50Speaker 5: too and be like, oh, well, it'll make more sense.
- 44:54Speaker 5: The reason for sure.
- 44:55Speaker 1: It'll make My character wouldn't know, so I shouldn't do
- 45:00Speaker 1: this extra work, right?
- 45:02Speaker 5: I love it. I love it. Oh, Sandra Book and
- 45:07Speaker 5: Benjamin Bratt did all their own fighting throughout the movie.
- 45:10Speaker 5: Stunt doubles were brought in, but only to make sure
- 45:12Speaker 5: they were using proper form and at one point Bullock
- 45:17Speaker 5: accidentally injured him when she had to kick him in
- 45:19Speaker 5: the calves after after he said, yes, you have to
- 45:22Speaker 5: wear the bathing suit. So she heard him. She heard him,
- 45:27Speaker 5: But you were you were earlier. I think, you know,
- 45:30Speaker 5: Like they looked pretty good doing that. Apparently that was
- 45:32Speaker 5: all them they did.
- 45:34Speaker 1: They looked really good. I mean those are some real
- 45:36Speaker 1: like wrestling grace. They were doing good.
- 45:38Speaker 5: It was fun.
- 45:39Speaker 1: It was fun and also it was very funny. I
- 45:44Speaker 1: should have mentioned it in one of the scenes, but
- 45:46Speaker 1: when they are wrestling and they're both talking, like she's
- 45:50Speaker 1: got two shoes, like her cheeks are pushed together and
- 45:55Speaker 1: he's like getting choked out with her lass and that
- 45:58Speaker 1: was pretty pretty good.
- 46:00Speaker 5: It's pretty and her talent where she just like beats
- 46:03Speaker 5: the hell out of them basically as her talent after
- 46:05Speaker 5: the Girls, I'll Drink the Water was also pretty fun.
- 46:09Speaker 5: I thought that was pretty good. Oh, the scene with
- 46:14Speaker 5: Gracie coming home after the mission in the restaurant was
- 46:17Speaker 5: only scripted as to be. Gracie comes home and starts boxing,
- 46:21Speaker 5: but the rest, the tripping, the kicking, the bed, the microwave,
- 46:23Speaker 5: ove and all that was all ad libbed, which I
- 46:26Speaker 5: thought was pretty fun and just made for a better scene.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I think overall, a lot showed out clumsy. She was
- 46:33Speaker 1: that she's like super alone a bachelor.
- 46:36Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, apparently she kind of just is that clumsy. Though.
- 46:40Speaker 5: At the premiere of the movie, when she got out
- 46:43Speaker 5: of her car, she did actually trip and fall, just
- 46:46Speaker 5: like her character does a few times. Sandy b And
- 46:49Speaker 5: after watching the movie, many attendants thought that she was
- 46:52Speaker 5: she staged tripping out of the car as like a stunt. Funny,
- 46:57Speaker 5: so I think it's funny. There was a supposed to
- 47:00Speaker 5: be a story This is Crazy. Originally, there was supposed
- 47:03Speaker 5: to be a storyline which included Gracie's mother. In the
- 47:05Speaker 5: first scene, after she gets in trouble for beating up
- 47:08Speaker 5: the two boys, her mother was called into the school
- 47:10Speaker 5: to reprimand her. The story behind her mother is that
- 47:13Speaker 5: she's a top FBI agent and then eventually gets killed
- 47:17Speaker 5: in the line of duty. Gracie became an agent to
- 47:20Speaker 5: make her mother proud. This was cut because he thought
- 47:23Speaker 5: it was the Donald Petrie just thought it was too much,
- 47:26Speaker 5: and I agree, yes, too much, that's.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Way too much.
- 47:31Speaker 5: Less is more, gang less is more.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe let's spend more time on why this lady
- 47:38Speaker 1: is freaking out about getting kicked out.
- 47:42Speaker 5: Of a patrick to kill people. This is her mom,
- 47:45Speaker 5: she got killed in the Like, what, no, too much?
- 47:52Speaker 5: Too much? Let's see Heather Burns had to learn how
- 47:57Speaker 5: to twirl the baton for her role. Oh, they drew
- 48:01Speaker 5: the line at the flaming baton and they had to
- 48:03Speaker 5: bring in a professional for that that scene.
- 48:05Speaker 1: So I just thought that was kind of How great
- 48:08Speaker 1: was her reaction when Sandy b was like, at least
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm not doing doing something stupid like baton twirling. So
- 48:13Speaker 1: then you see your face and she's just like, yeah,
- 48:17Speaker 1: it's such a bummer. Baton twirling can actually be really cool.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I felt so bad for it, right, Yeah, she was
- 48:31Speaker 1: really good. Has she done a bunch of other stuff
- 48:33Speaker 1: that Heather Burns?
- 48:34Speaker 5: I think so? But yeah, okay, So the movie's theme
- 48:41Speaker 5: song for the Miss United pageant was written by screenwriter
- 48:44Speaker 5: Mark Lawrence and apparently his seven year old son, Clyde Lawrence.
- 48:50Speaker 5: Mark the lyrics and Clyde wrote the music ridiculous. Yeah,
- 48:56Speaker 5: so I guess.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Was it that? No, it's probably not that. It's probably
- 49:02Speaker 1: the one that William.
- 49:03Speaker 5: Shatt Yeah exactly, and I can't think.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, it's like but I was just like, well
- 49:08Speaker 1: he was like, speak, yeah, that's true.
- 49:10Speaker 5: So yeah, it worked out. I guess I said that
- 49:14Speaker 5: was fun. We said the parody thing it is Midnight Cowboy.
- 49:18Speaker 5: You're totally right because I actually wrote that down. And
- 49:23Speaker 5: uh as Frank Tobin prepares the explosive crown in the
- 49:27Speaker 5: proper room, the Queen of the Night aria is being
- 49:31Speaker 5: sung on stage. This is from Mozart's Magic Flute, and
- 49:36Speaker 5: the Queen of the Night demands that her daughter kills
- 49:38Speaker 5: someone for her. So it was kind of a nice
- 49:41Speaker 5: little allusion to the pot.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Just kind of fun.
- 49:44Speaker 5: I think we all caught that. Yeah, certainly, you know me,
- 49:48Speaker 5: big magic flute guy. Oh, he loves the magic if
- 49:52Speaker 5: you know what I mean, I do love that. If
- 49:53Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying, It's what I have on
- 49:56Speaker 5: my tender profile. I don't know. That was all the
- 50:01Speaker 5: trivia I had, though, Did you have any other stuff that?
- 50:04Speaker 5: If I am?
- 50:05Speaker 1: The only thing I saw was Matt Dillon was originally
- 50:09Speaker 1: cast as Eric Matthews as the Benjamin Brad part.
- 50:12Speaker 5: He could have totally done it. He could have done it. Think,
- 50:16Speaker 5: so he's a little I can only ever think of
- 50:18Speaker 5: him as something about Mary though. So he's a little
- 50:21Speaker 5: It's tough. I mean he's been in a lot.
- 50:23Speaker 1: I mean he wasn't that and you me and dupre
- 50:26Speaker 1: He's been in.
- 50:27Speaker 5: A lot of movies. Yeah, for sure, for sure.
- 50:30Speaker 1: But yeah, he would have done it fine. I thought
- 50:33Speaker 1: it worked well with Benjamin Brad.
- 50:34Speaker 5: I liked Benjamin Brad. He was a little more believable
- 50:36Speaker 5: as like the kind of ladies manish.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel like I feel like Matt Dylan is
- 50:42Speaker 1: older than Sandy b but they probably are around the same.
- 50:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yeah, hard to say anyway.
- 50:49Speaker 5: Ah fun what about Judgment Day?
- 50:53Speaker 1: Judgment Day, we know, we know there's a sequel.
- 50:56Speaker 5: I believe it's armed and fabulous.
- 50:58Speaker 1: You believe right in it.
- 51:00Speaker 4: Uh.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I don't think it was as good. However, they did
- 51:06Speaker 1: add Regina King, which is always always a good call
- 51:11Speaker 1: because she's wonderful, the best.
- 51:14Speaker 5: Yeah. So yeah, I feel like it wasn't as good,
- 51:17Speaker 5: but it was fun. It was okay, Remember Yeah, Dietrich
- 51:24Speaker 5: Bader was in it. I think right. Oh, sure, I
- 51:29Speaker 5: watch tonight. That sounds pretty fun. Sounds pretty fun.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Get caught in nice nice nice? Well, Uh, do you
- 51:38Speaker 1: want to do a last Man's stance?
- 51:40Speaker 5: Of course I do. Of course did send out a
- 51:44Speaker 5: twe remember too, because I didn't think about it till
- 51:47Speaker 5: right now.
- 51:48Speaker 1: I did think of it, and I was like, hey,
- 51:52Speaker 1: tell us, uh, tell us an actor or actress with
- 51:55Speaker 1: a large filmography that you enjoyed. To be real honest.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Didn't get a lot of responses. It's a little early
- 52:05Speaker 1: in the day, people are working. But I did get
- 52:08Speaker 1: a few, and some really really good actors. First, we
- 52:13Speaker 1: have Robert de Niro, which I don't know if we've
- 52:16Speaker 1: ever done. We have Nathan Fillion, who I love, but
- 52:20Speaker 1: that will be a quick game.
- 52:22Speaker 5: Yeah, that would be He is great, though I agree.
- 52:25Speaker 1: I do love him. Then we have Susan Sarandon, which
- 52:30Speaker 1: I know we've never done. I also don't think that
- 52:33Speaker 1: that would go super long, but.
- 52:37Speaker 5: She's great.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Then we have somebody gave us three options, Kate Blanchette,
- 52:43Speaker 1: Maherschela Ali and Paul Rudd. I do think we've done
- 52:47Speaker 1: Paul Rudd, but not sure.
- 52:48Speaker 5: I have up here if nothing else.
- 52:52Speaker 1: And then then we have John Goodman and Steve Buscemi.
- 52:59Speaker 1: So I think, out of all of the names that
- 53:01Speaker 1: I threw at you, I think I think i'd probably
- 53:07Speaker 1: between John Goodman and Yeah, and.
- 53:09Speaker 5: I feel like you crushed me at Goodman. So let's
- 53:12Speaker 5: do de Niro.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Let's do I'm just gonna double check. Also the Avid indoors. Oh,
- 53:21Speaker 1: I just reposted it. So yeah, those are our options.
- 53:26Speaker 1: So we're gonna say Robert de Niro.
- 53:28Speaker 5: Yeah. Uh, then we have to say a big.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Thank you to Marsha Greasiac for giving us Robert de Niro. Yeah.
- 53:41Speaker 1: De Niro's done some movies.
- 53:42Speaker 5: Bro. Yeah, I feel like I'm gonna end up looking
- 53:46Speaker 5: like an idiot here.
- 53:47Speaker 1: No, you stop it, don't you say that.
- 53:52Speaker 5: I won't. I won't. I'll never say it.
- 53:57Speaker 1: I'll never tell every day. Do you want to start
- 54:03Speaker 1: it off?
- 54:04Speaker 5: Uh? Sure? The Irishman?
- 54:08Speaker 1: The Irishman? You say sure, then I'll say the aforementioned
- 54:14Speaker 1: taxi driver.
- 54:16Speaker 5: That's a kitten. Uh, raging ball, raging ball.
- 54:25Speaker 1: I literally just wrote that down.
- 54:26Speaker 5: Think I've ever seen that. I should really watch that one?
- 54:29Speaker 1: That is a bomber of a movie.
- 54:31Speaker 5: Is it Pops?
- 54:32Speaker 1: Okay, it's well done, that's true. But Jake Lamatta wasn't
- 54:38Speaker 1: real great at least the portrayal.
- 54:41Speaker 5: I don't know, Jake. Let's do uh, let's do heat
- 54:47Speaker 5: good one, good one. I almost just said a movie
- 54:55Speaker 5: that he's not in. That would have been silly.
- 54:57Speaker 1: That would have been very silly.
- 54:58Speaker 5: Don't know why. I thought, uh uh is it Awakenings.
- 55:07Speaker 1: It is Awakenings.
- 55:08Speaker 5: Okay, that one. I'm gonna say that one. I was thinking,
- 55:12Speaker 5: I was thinking that movie, but in my head I
- 55:13Speaker 5: said one flow over the Cuckar's Nest, and that was
- 55:16Speaker 5: I was like, oh, these are different. They are in
- 55:18Speaker 5: sort of.
- 55:19Speaker 8: A facility, hospitally settings. Yes, so Awakenings, Awakenings. Let's do
- 55:26Speaker 8: The Deer Hunter. Another real uplifting film.
- 55:31Speaker 5: Not great.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Meet the Parents, Meet the Foxers, meet the kids.
- 55:39Speaker 5: No, that's the next one. No, But isn't there four?
- 55:42Speaker 5: Is there only three? I thought there was just three.
- 55:46Speaker 5: I thought they did talk about the kids at one
- 55:47Speaker 5: point they do meet the kids. It's not it's not
- 55:53Speaker 5: what's it called them the parents?
- 55:55Speaker 1: I'm going to use it for mine.
- 56:00Speaker 5: Those kids. Uh damn it.
- 56:08Speaker 1: I will get it.
- 56:10Speaker 5: You are. I'll just say, men of honor, Men of honor.
- 56:14Speaker 1: You could have held on too, That for sure, I
- 56:16Speaker 1: think that.
- 56:17Speaker 5: But as we get lower on the list.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I can't the movie you're thinking of his little blockers.
- 56:24Speaker 5: Yeah, you're right, you're.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Right, damn it, that was it?
- 56:29Speaker 5: I get it. Wasn't he in the Night at the
- 56:34Speaker 5: Museum movies?
- 56:36Speaker 1: No, And the only reason I know that is because
- 56:38Speaker 1: I watched all three of them like two weeks.
- 56:42Speaker 5: Okay, well that's good, because I was. I could have
- 56:44Speaker 5: talked myself into that. I feel like, no, then I
- 56:47Speaker 5: will ignore that that was a test ignored you more
- 56:51Speaker 5: than wrong, guess certainly.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I mean Robin Williams was in all those Yeah, that
- 56:56Speaker 1: might have been who you be? But either right not
- 56:59Speaker 1: to dirty Grandpa, Dirty Grandpa. I wrote that one down,
- 57:04Speaker 1: nice one that was fun, A little small role that
- 57:11Speaker 1: he did.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Uh.
- 57:14Speaker 1: I really liked this movie called star Dust and he
- 57:16Speaker 1: was kind of.
- 57:19Speaker 5: He played this like, oh yeah, that was like.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Would wear women's clothing and a fun time.
- 57:26Speaker 5: But you must have watched that same kid, right, because
- 57:29Speaker 5: I feel like it cos.
- 57:30Speaker 1: It's not that No. It came out when we were
- 57:33Speaker 1: kind of living in that same building.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Really.
- 57:36Speaker 1: That is when I watched it, I think, and it
- 57:38Speaker 1: stuck in my brain pretty good.
- 57:40Speaker 5: I liked it cool.
- 57:41Speaker 1: It's like the only thing I can think of that
- 57:43Speaker 1: Charlie Cox did outside Wait it.
- 57:45Speaker 5: Starred us the like almost Fantasy one too. Okay, that's
- 57:50Speaker 5: funny because like Michelle Fifer love those, so that's kind
- 57:53Speaker 5: of fun.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but that one I really liked.
- 57:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I like that. I'm gonna say limit now, good car.
- 58:04Speaker 5: I just thought of it just now. Yeah, and really
- 58:07Speaker 5: small role. Well, I didn't know he's like the main
- 58:12Speaker 5: bad guy of sorts. Oh.
- 58:14Speaker 1: I thought that he like meets him at the very end.
- 58:18Speaker 5: No, he works for him for a while. I think
- 58:23Speaker 5: maybe I'm conflating. Okay, he's definitely in it though, Okay
- 58:29Speaker 5: I say that.
- 58:29Speaker 1: I won't say this. I have other ones. But was
- 58:33Speaker 1: he in Machete?
- 58:35Speaker 5: Oh? I don't know that, I would remember.
- 58:37Speaker 1: I think, do you care if I look up Machete
- 58:41Speaker 1: real quick?
- 58:41Speaker 5: Don't care at all? A little bud that you're trying
- 58:45Speaker 5: to stunt on me like this, But yeah, go ahead,
- 58:48Speaker 5: come on, I more.
- 58:50Speaker 1: I'm just curious. Yes, he's senator.
- 58:53Speaker 5: That's a good call. I liked that silly and fun.
- 58:58Speaker 5: That was a good time for sure. Uh, silver Lining's playbook,
- 59:04Speaker 5: good call as the Papa with the gambling.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, I'm trying to think if he did
- 59:10Speaker 1: any of the other David or Russell.
- 59:12Speaker 5: I know. I was trying to think of that too,
- 59:14Speaker 5: but I don't. Was he in the infomercial one? That
- 59:18Speaker 5: was the one I thought he might be in, but
- 59:19Speaker 5: I couldn't remember.
- 59:22Speaker 1: No, he's not in Joy. Well maybe he is, I
- 59:26Speaker 1: don't remember.
- 59:27Speaker 5: I don't really. I didn't like Joy as much as
- 59:29Speaker 5: the other.
- 59:30Speaker 1: It wasn't as great. Yeah, okay, all right, I have
- 59:39Speaker 1: analyzed this.
- 59:42Speaker 5: Oh nice, good call. Sorry, I was just thinking of
- 59:46Speaker 5: another movie while you said that. Analyzed this, that's great?
- 59:49Speaker 5: So then is he an analyzed that? Okay? I was like,
- 59:53Speaker 5: that's going to come right back at me. Fun, that's
- 59:58Speaker 5: Billy Crystal.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Yeah. I think I think he did that before Meet
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the Parents, and that was kind.
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: Of like his lightning up. Yeah, that's fun.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Well, okay, I'm gonna go with the Big Dog good Fellas.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we haven't said that. It almost was like,
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: oh well obviously that yeah, it's silly, okay, nice. Uh
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: a movie I really liked a lot. The Apprentice, I
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: think is what it's called the It's not the the Intern. Sorry,
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: the Intern.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: That was fun?
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: Yeah, the Intern. Sorry, Yeah, I knew that's a fun movie.
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: I like that movie. That is a good time.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: That was it was super cute. I'm I'm gonna go casino.
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: Yeah that makes sense. I feel like I'm running out,
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: which is probably not great. Yeah.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: I mean he's done a ton of movies, but.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like quite a few of them are
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: in that older period that we're just not great at either,
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: you know what I mean. Maybe they're not Oh, bring
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: a suit and something. Mm hmmm mm hmm. Is he
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: also in Oh, I would be the one to know that,
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: And I don't remember. I was thinking. Was in two
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: zach Efron movies? Was he Mike and Damny wedding dates too?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: No, I'm just thinking at Dirty Grandpa? Now, aren't I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Dirty Grandpa?
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: Yeah? Mm hmmm, poops. I might be out buddy, I
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: might be out.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: There. There's so many more. I'm having a hard time though.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: That I thought of was one that I know we
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: both watched for the first time recently in the last
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: couple of years. It was called Midnight Run.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: Oh, good call. Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: That one, and then the three that were I was
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: kind of holding on too because they're deep cuts. Is
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: a Showtime which a lot of people didn't see. It
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: was him and Eddie Murphy and Renee Russo. It came
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: out like two thousand and one through two thousand and
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: three ish.
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: It was early college for me.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I watched that one a lot. It was fun. Then
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: one that I didn't like very much with him and
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Bill Murray and Uma Thurman called mad Dog and Glory,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: which was early nineties.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: Mid You saw that one.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: It wasn't great. And then one that our UMD acting
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: professor was in was called Jackknife.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: I forgot that movie existed.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Nice, But there's there's so many.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: Yeah, let me pull it up here. I was hoping
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: I might think of some more, but I haven't. Well,
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: the first one under his name is jack Jackie Brown.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Jackie Brown.
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: I thought, oh yeah, Jackie Brown, good call. Yeah. He
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: was in Cape Fear, which is the first one that
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: shows up. Yep, Cape Fear.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: He was terrifying in that.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Sorry navigating movies.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Yeah, this new one. There's two new ones. Ten Soldier

- 1:03:57Speaker 1: With grand War with Grandpa, and I was that a sequel? Oh, Joker?
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Forgot about Joker.

- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Huh exactly.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: I forgot about that comedian.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: The comedian Hands of Stone.
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: He was in joy Oh dang nice? So you won twice?
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Called it the Intern like you said, grudge match, which
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I never watched. He is he in Slide?
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: I thought American Hustle? But I wasn't sure.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Me neither, dude. I was like, was he in any
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: other David o' russell?
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: But I guess it was uncredited, so it must have
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: been small, okay. Oh, last Vegas, Last Vegas.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I never saw the Family Killing season, the Big Witning.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, look at all.
