- 0:01Speaker 1: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 0:03Speaker 1: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 0:06Speaker 1: and sure they definitely can be, but understanding of professionals
- 0:10Speaker 1: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 0:14Speaker 1: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 0:21Speaker 1: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is
- 0:24Speaker 1: what helps you live a more happily fulfilled life. P
- 0:27Speaker 1: and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly
- 0:32Speaker 1: Boring since eighteen sixty five is a service mark of
- 0:35Speaker 1: the PNC Financial Service Group, Inc. P and C Bank
- 0:39Speaker 1: National Association Member FDIC.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Let's talk about bitcoin, shall we? Let's show this clip.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Actually, you know, I'm still bullish on bitcoin. In the
- 0:54Speaker 3: fourth quarter seasonally bitcoin strong, but now we have the
- 0:58Speaker 3: Fed flipping dubvish after being essentially hawkish all year. That's
- 1:03Speaker 3: a tailwind for bitcoin. So I think bitcoin gets to
- 1:06Speaker 3: two hundred to two hundred fifty thousand by the end
- 1:08Speaker 3: of the year, and that aligns with Mark Newton's technical targets.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Okay, Tom Lee's out to tumbley if you're not familiar
- 1:17Speaker 2: who Tom Lee is bitcoin bull somebody that's been He's
- 1:23Speaker 2: always bullish on bitcoin, but a very intelligent person. He
- 1:28Speaker 2: says that he sees Bigcoin getting to two hundred and
- 1:31Speaker 2: fifty thousand dollars by year in so there's only two
- 1:35Speaker 2: months in the year. Bitcoin is currently at one hundred
- 1:39Speaker 2: and ten thousand dollars, so that would be over one
- 1:40Speaker 2: hundred percent increase in seventy five days. He also said
- 1:48Speaker 2: in an unrelated well and later on in that conversation
- 1:51Speaker 2: that he sees ethereum not now now getting to sixty
- 1:58Speaker 2: thousand dollars.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Wow.
- 2:01Speaker 2: But he's always been a bull, Like I said, Tom
- 2:03Speaker 2: Lee's always been. He's been a big Coin ball for years.
- 2:06Speaker 2: So two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in the next
- 2:08Speaker 2: seventy five days is that something that.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Troy Troy, you know what? Yeah say, I'll say this
- 2:20Speaker 4: that is very lofty.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So I'll use the historical data, right, based on bitcoins
- 2:27Speaker 1: having cycles, the first year after having cycle is usually
- 2:31Speaker 1: the best year.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Right, So.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Twenty twelve first having cycle, twenty thirteen being the next
- 2:38Speaker 1: year Bitcoin was up seven thousand percent, right, seven thousand
- 2:43Speaker 1: percent twenty sixteen, So this is every four years, right,
- 2:46Speaker 1: So we're twenty twelve to twenty sixteen, and twenty seventeen.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Bitcoin was up two hundred and ninety one percent. Twenty twenty, right,
- 2:54Speaker 1: that's the next cycle. Twenty twenty one, the year after
- 2:57Speaker 1: bitcoin was up to five hundred and forty one percent, right,
- 3:00Speaker 1: So these are huge jumps. Twenty twenty four we had
- 3:04Speaker 1: having last April. So this year we are now up
- 3:09Speaker 1: forty four percent this year. Now, if we paid the
- 3:14Speaker 1: law of averages, if we get up to maybe ninety
- 3:17Speaker 1: to one hundred percent, that would take us to about
- 3:21Speaker 1: one hundred and forty seven thousand, two hundred and fifty
- 3:25Speaker 1: thousand for biitcoin, if the law of averages play out
- 3:28Speaker 1: at about one hundred percent return. So when we looked
- 3:33Speaker 1: at our price points and this we kind of been
- 3:35Speaker 1: given this predictive number of one hundred and forty. I
- 3:38Speaker 1: know you had one hundred and fifty, were in the
- 3:39Speaker 1: same rangerede hundred and forty. I can see it there.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I can see it there based on how it's performed historically.
- 3:47Speaker 1: After the year of having we've seen a great gain.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I see it in that landscape two hundred and fifty.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm just not sure how we calculate that now. I
- 3:57Speaker 1: know he said that the Fed was hawkish, right, there
- 4:00Speaker 1: was supposed to be maybe no rate changes. We got
- 4:03Speaker 1: one already, and now they're saying there's two more. I mean,
- 4:06Speaker 1: there's only three months left in the year, right, well,
- 4:08Speaker 1: two months left in the year. We got one in September.
- 4:11Speaker 1: We'll see what happens here in October. So now November
- 4:14Speaker 1: December only two months left.
- 4:17Speaker 4: I just I don't know how we get to that level.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I just don't. I can't see it.
- 4:22Speaker 1: But Tom Tom leys Is he's been right, not just
- 4:24Speaker 1: in Bitcoin. He's been right about the S and P,
- 4:26Speaker 1: he's been right about the DOW, he's been right about
- 4:28Speaker 1: the NASTAG.
- 4:29Speaker 4: He is super bullish in the market. I don't see it. Yeah,
- 4:33Speaker 4: I like Tim Lee a lot.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Great lesson is in assets that are determined to go
- 4:39Speaker 5: up as better to be bullish anything bearish.
- 4:43Speaker 4: With that being said, I don't see two fifty one
- 4:45Speaker 4: four four ninety.
- 4:51Speaker 5: I can see, but you don't have to take my
- 4:53Speaker 5: word for I want you to go on to LLM
- 4:56Speaker 5: GPT or Claude or Perplexity act as the World CLI
- 5:00Speaker 5: Investor tell me the ten scenarios in which bitcoin will
- 5:04Speaker 5: go from where it is now at one ten to
- 5:07Speaker 5: two point fifty, and what geopolitical events would have to
- 5:10Speaker 5: happen in order for the market to run that high.
- 5:14Speaker 5: That's the thought exercise I want you guys to do tonight.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Also too, it's November. Client money is coming in.
- 5:23Speaker 5: So if you say I think ethereum is going to
- 5:25Speaker 5: tenk why having a fun based around ethereum. You gotta
- 5:29Speaker 5: sell a big picture going back to is the media
- 5:31Speaker 5: is selling you what you want to hear, or is
- 5:34Speaker 5: it selling you fear so you can sell extreme optimism
- 5:38Speaker 5: or like the other side is Robert Kiyosaki every other
- 5:40Speaker 5: week saying the market is gonna crash and it keeps
- 5:43Speaker 5: going up, Right, you have to be mindful. I love
- 5:46Speaker 5: tom a lot two fifty for bitcoin by end of
- 5:49Speaker 5: the year.
- 5:50Speaker 4: No, they see two fifty next year.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Yes, Also, if they were not moving in pace with
- 5:56Speaker 5: the market when it was actually detached before the.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Endtitutions came in and.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Had a mass adoption phase and took it over, I
- 6:06Speaker 5: could see a run up of that nature. But unless China,
- 6:12Speaker 5: our government and all hedge funds go risk on more
- 6:16Speaker 5: so than they are already. It's gonna be tough to
- 6:18Speaker 5: get to two fifty buys by Christmas. It's gonna be
- 6:21Speaker 5: really tough in post boy next year. I can see it, though, Earners.
