- 1:30Speaker 2: Thanks, Fellers? Is that good? Is it? I love ugly?

- 1:36Speaker 3: bit of a pay rise or something.
- 1:37Speaker 4: It's it's like it's an icy sort of blue, isn't it? Yes, Jace? Yes,
- 1:42Speaker 4: really brings out the eyes.
- 1:45Speaker 2: That were going there again?
- 1:46Speaker 4: Are we?
- 1:47Speaker 5: Hey?
- 1:47Speaker 2: Now listen, I'll tell you what. She's a huge show ahead.
- 1:56Speaker 2: What's happening on the big Show with old Mogi?
- 2:00Speaker 4: Well, as always fellows, we're going to be doing the
- 2:02Speaker 4: throb of the second one of the year. How bloody
- 2:04Speaker 4: excited about that?
- 2:05Speaker 3: And on that two Pugs even made mentioned and said
- 2:08Speaker 3: now this because he's seen the lineup, he's seen all
- 2:10Speaker 3: three of us songs. He said, this is how a
- 2:12Speaker 3: throbber should be.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Is that right? Yeah, that's pretty exciting, feels yeah, geez.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Coming up shortly, we're going to be talking about a
- 2:20Speaker 4: bird that I've got that wakes me up every single morning,
- 2:23Speaker 4: every single morning at four am. I'm at my WIT's end.
- 2:27Speaker 4: I'm trying to determine what kind of a bird it
- 2:29Speaker 4: is so that we can then try and get rid
- 2:31Speaker 4: of it. Yeah, okay, And also, Keysy, you've got a
- 2:34Speaker 4: hot date tonight, hot day. You're probably gonna ask us
- 2:39Speaker 4: for a little bit of advice out of me.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Well, I just want to hack around those. It's not
- 2:44Speaker 3: about closing out a b C. Kezy always be closing brother. Well,
- 2:48Speaker 3: it's my wife, so it's pretty hard. It's pretty hot,
- 2:52Speaker 3: That's what I was going to say.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Radiohead, the whole king Big show was Jason, Mike and
- 2:57Speaker 1: Kezy tune in four on radio.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Indeed, the Black Keys there on the radio. Hodarchy pict
- 3:04Speaker 2: shut this Friday afternoon, the time is for twenty five
- 3:07Speaker 2: and Old Mogi's been pested by a bird bird in
- 3:10Speaker 2: the early morning. At the moment, this is the offending bird.
- 3:22Speaker 3: We're trying to idea the bird.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yes, we are, we are.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure it's a lower heat.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure it's a magpie.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Yeah, well I thought it was a sparrow, just because
- 3:31Speaker 4: there's heaps of them around and when it's sort of
- 3:34Speaker 4: going off like that in the morning, it's dark, so
- 3:36Speaker 4: that's impossible to know. Yes, they hide as well with
- 3:39Speaker 4: the birds and the branches.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Are they hiding? Yeah, Look, a lot of texts are
- 3:43Speaker 3: coming through on three four eight three people trying to
- 3:45Speaker 3: id the bird for you, which is good and please
- 3:47Speaker 3: keep the texts coming to me because it's super helpful.
- 3:49Speaker 4: And the reason why we want to ida the bird
- 3:51Speaker 4: is once I know what kind of bird is, then
- 3:52Speaker 4: I can sort of get a plan of attack. Yes,
- 3:54Speaker 4: what do we do about it?
- 3:56Speaker 2: Well, let's go to the phone lines, because I believe
- 3:58Speaker 2: you've got people who know what kind of bird. It's
- 4:00Speaker 2: good a Chrissy am Darst. How's life?
- 4:02Speaker 6: Hey, Jase? How you going?
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yeah? Good? Thanks mate? Looking forward to your Friday night?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Are you Chris too right?
- 4:08Speaker 6: I might watch it but a broken d there's a
- 4:10Speaker 6: great actor on there.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff, mate, tell me because you know what
- 4:15Speaker 2: that bird is.
- 4:17Speaker 6: That's one of our most beloved birds the toy?
- 4:21Speaker 2: Come on, no, great man? Yeah, what hell are you
- 4:25Speaker 2: talking about?
- 4:26Speaker 4: Have you got a toy around your house?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Man?
- 4:29Speaker 6: If you look at tooies, I've got lots of different dialects,
- 4:32Speaker 6: and let a dead bring her a toy.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Okay, okay, well he's pretty sure.
- 4:40Speaker 7: It's the dawn chorus dialect for the toy. They make
- 4:44Speaker 7: different noises, like the ones that you'll hear in the
- 4:48Speaker 7: you know, in the garden in the afternoon, is not
- 4:50Speaker 7: the same as what you hear in the morning.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Right, Okay, Chris, did you just get younger by about
- 4:54Speaker 3: thirty years? What happened there?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Oh?
- 4:57Speaker 6: That's my daughter?
- 4:57Speaker 4: Actually, bloody was what the hell was going on? An
- 5:03Speaker 4: amazing impersonation.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I thought we'd sent me across to an expert or something.
- 5:07Speaker 4: What the bloody hell is this very well delivered?
- 5:12Speaker 3: It's a shame that both incorrect. All right, let's go
- 5:14Speaker 3: to Kelly. Get Kelly, how are you going?
- 5:16Speaker 5: I agree with Chris and this daughter.
- 5:18Speaker 8: It's a towey.
- 5:19Speaker 2: No, come on, Kelly, get a grap it's definitely if
- 5:24Speaker 2: we heard one no associated.
- 5:26Speaker 6: I've got a lot of different dialects, and there's I've
- 5:29Speaker 6: got different moods and different polls, and it depends if
- 5:32Speaker 6: it's a male and a female too, So.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely because it's got Well, what I understand a
- 5:37Speaker 4: toy to be is more of a garbly goobly Google,
- 5:40Speaker 4: not not this high loud. Okay, Well, the other thing,
- 5:49Speaker 4: we're going to be talking to an expert after five o'clock,
- 5:52Speaker 4: an expert and what kind of birds will have an
- 5:55Speaker 4: next door to mogi, So we'll find out for sure.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, area to have expertise.
- 6:00Speaker 4: He's a specialist.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Sam. What do you think, mate? What kind of bird
- 6:03Speaker 3: is it?
- 6:05Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 6:05Speaker 9: I'm probably wrong as well, but I think.
- 6:06Speaker 2: It's to what is wrong with people today. I think
- 6:10Speaker 2: they've got sort of weekend dietists or something.
- 6:13Speaker 9: You know, I had the same experience years ago, and
- 6:16Speaker 9: the thing drove me mad, literally did for months.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Yes, well, I'm looking for solutions, man, what did you do?
- 6:23Speaker 9: Well, if you want to identify it and you're not
- 6:26Speaker 9: sure what you can tell it by its poos. So
- 6:29Speaker 9: what you could do is you could have teasy standing
- 6:32Speaker 9: underneath the.
- 6:32Speaker 3: True Why does it happen to me?
- 6:40Speaker 4: Man?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Oh?
- 6:42Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 6:46Speaker 3: I feel like someone's just okay, fine, I'll play this thing.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Spectacular drive by the man. I'm a reboog vout so exceptional.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Well look the tech star coming in on three four
- 7:04Speaker 3: eight three. Honestly, I really, I really worry about the
- 7:07Speaker 3: future of New Zealand. The education is terrible. So many
- 7:09Speaker 3: people saying it's a toy. Yeah, incorrect, get there, feel
- 7:14Speaker 3: as it sounds like a juvenile more getting ready to roost.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yes, oh yeah, I did think that at one point,
- 7:19Speaker 2: because that's still about right that. Oh yeah, they hop
- 7:22Speaker 2: all over the place, about eight of them on my
- 7:25Speaker 2: back lawn.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Fellas, that's a too. He got one at home to
- 7:28Speaker 3: feathery bar. So that's from Jackson.
- 7:31Speaker 2: That's a little tough too that they have that they do,
- 7:33Speaker 2: that little collar.
- 7:34Speaker 3: That's right, it's actually they call it a nikerchief. This
- 7:41Speaker 3: one from Rob To me, it sounds like a rebird girl.
- 7:49Speaker 3: What about this from Mark? Good question, do you need
- 7:51Speaker 3: to employ Jason his scarecrow services for a while because
- 7:54Speaker 3: you used to be a scarecrow?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yes? I did, didn't invent it. Yeah, I did invent
- 7:58Speaker 2: the scarecrow, and I actually that did cross my mind. Actually, Magie,
- 8:01Speaker 2: you could hire me or you could stuff your own one.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Well, yeah. I mean, as you found out when you're
- 8:07Speaker 4: working in Vietnam as a scarecrow, people soon realized that
- 8:10Speaker 4: they could just use two sticks to do the same
- 8:13Speaker 4: job and save themselves a fortune. But I think there
- 8:15Speaker 4: is actually something in there a scarecrow. I earned so
- 8:18Speaker 4: much dong.
- 8:22Speaker 1: The Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Hold Ikey Stone Temple pilots here on the Radio Holarchy
- 8:31Speaker 2: Big Show this Friday afternoon, the time being four thirty eight.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Hey, fellas letter On tonight, my wife and I are
- 8:38Speaker 3: going on a bit of a hot date.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, hella, Now are you talking?
- 8:44Speaker 3: We've got a voucher?
- 8:45Speaker 4: Oh no, voucher boy, old bag money.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Bags, Keezy.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I literally just said, we've got a voucher, That's what
- 8:51Speaker 3: I mean. What do you mean, what money bags, Keezy?
- 8:54Speaker 3: What do you mean would be voucher bags?
- 8:55Speaker 2: You're a generous bastard. I've got a voucher, babe. I'm
- 8:58Speaker 2: taking you out on me.
- 9:01Speaker 3: We got a voucher for m seeing a wedding together,
- 9:04Speaker 3: and so they brought us a dinner voucher for a lovely,
- 9:06Speaker 3: really nice sort of Hoidy j Caliber Restaurant. So toppy
- 9:10Speaker 3: end awkward. Yeah, you're nice, bloody expensive, and I'm just thinking, like,
- 9:17Speaker 3: been on a lot of hot dates of my wife
- 9:19Speaker 3: and I've been with her for fourteen years. Yeah, fourteen years?
- 9:22Speaker 4: Truth, long time?
- 9:24Speaker 3: Have you guys ever a long time?
- 9:27Speaker 4: That's not that long?
- 9:27Speaker 3: I mean hopefully it goes for far longer as well. Well,
- 9:34Speaker 3: well no, it's going to go for forever.
- 9:37Speaker 2: This is going to say. I'm a little bit nervous
- 9:40Speaker 2: about talking about your wife at the moment. Easy, and
- 9:42Speaker 2: you should be.
- 9:44Speaker 3: You should be after you said she was ugly on
- 9:47Speaker 3: the radio. Anyway, what I'm getting at here is, have
- 9:52Speaker 3: you guys ever spiced things up when it comes to
- 9:53Speaker 3: a hot day? Have you ever done the thing where
- 9:55Speaker 3: you show up and you pretend you don't know each
- 9:57Speaker 3: other and you sort of do a first eight and you.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Kind of like when the waitress comes over, you like
- 10:03Speaker 4: you don't know your wife.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Well, no, not like that. I'm more like, you show
- 10:10Speaker 3: up in the bar. Maybe you've got fake names. I
- 10:11Speaker 3: don't know, maybe you invented but or maybe you're just
- 10:13Speaker 3: playing yourself. Ten you don't know each other.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Okay, see where you're going.
- 10:17Speaker 3: And then like maybe she's up at the bar and
- 10:19Speaker 3: then I you know, you go over there, you go
- 10:22Speaker 3: next to her and then order a drink, then ask
- 10:24Speaker 3: if she wants to drink and you know, have you
- 10:25Speaker 3: ever done anything like that?
- 10:26Speaker 2: No, No, I'd be really embarrassed.
- 10:31Speaker 4: We tried it once. We did try it once, but yeah,
- 10:37Speaker 4: it did. It just got embarrassing. And I think there's
- 10:40Speaker 4: a certain amount of magic when it comes to that
- 10:43Speaker 4: first time attraction and the way that you managed to
- 10:45Speaker 4: capture each other. You know, there's a series of events
- 10:47Speaker 4: that has to take place. And the problem with yourself
- 10:51Speaker 4: and i JS, I mean you've been out of the
- 10:53Speaker 4: game for no on thirty years, Yeah, myself at twelve
- 10:57Speaker 4: or theater any keys that you're not far away from that.
- 10:59Speaker 4: So the idea that you've got any kind of game,
- 11:02Speaker 4: it's a it's a sort of a false it's a
- 11:04Speaker 4: false horizon here. It doesn't it doesn't exist. So you're
- 11:07Speaker 4: only going to embarrass yourself.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:11Speaker 4: The fun thing to do here would be to have
- 11:13Speaker 4: your wife try and pick you up the other way around. Yeah, right,
- 11:18Speaker 4: because she will have no game because women have never
- 11:20Speaker 4: had to pick up anybody in their lives. It's always
- 11:22Speaker 4: the other way around. So I would, I would, I
- 11:25Speaker 4: would get that gun because there will still be a shambles,
- 11:27Speaker 4: but at least a really.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Funny Yeah, because you know what I wanted to be funny.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Have you ever thought of sort of gladiate a peasant
- 11:37Speaker 2: or queen and man servant?
- 11:40Speaker 3: Yes, m m, not that keen to meet a man
- 11:43Speaker 3: servant in a in a restaurant.
- 11:46Speaker 2: You probably have a better chance with a man's heaven
- 11:48Speaker 2: than your wife.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Oh, you're true. Actually, I was just wondering if you
- 11:53Speaker 3: had to try it, maybe I won't.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Well you ad no, I think you should do it, definitely.
- 11:56Speaker 4: I'd like to see how it goes on. What do
- 11:58Speaker 4: you mean you're not gonna be there on Monday?
- 12:00Speaker 2: There, Mikey and I kind of secrete ourselves in the
- 12:05Speaker 2: corner and see how it's sort of all unfold.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I don't want you secreting anywhere near my wife, and
- 12:10Speaker 3: I was hot date jas yeah as well, jeez, no,
- 12:19Speaker 3: thank you.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Really it's got me going a little bit.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Actually, well me are having dinner with my wife.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Well not just that sort of scenario. Are you talking
- 12:28Speaker 2: about their kizy? What are you guys?
- 12:29Speaker 3: Up to tonight.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Do you want to come?
- 12:31Speaker 4: Jason was coming with his diarrhei got from the Torito
- 12:34Speaker 4: Darce last night.
- 12:35Speaker 2: It's it's not diarrhea, it's blockage.
- 12:38Speaker 3: That's so great.
- 12:41Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Hold Ike Queens of the Stone Age. There on the
- 12:47Speaker 2: Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Friday afternoon. Let's talk TV.
- 12:53Speaker 2: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 13:00Speaker 10: Yeah, good stuff, yells the The other night I went
- 13:17Speaker 10: along and saw the drummer from the police. Men's the police,
- 13:23Speaker 10: the band the police? Yes, well sting his name, I've
- 13:27Speaker 10: got my he Stuart Town's end. But I think they
- 13:29Speaker 10: actually might be an act, wasn't it John, No, it's
- 13:31Speaker 10: John Cougar Mellencamp. Yeah, you're right, Copeland, it's definitely something Johnny.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Google. Give it a Google. See how we go. Anyway,
- 13:40Speaker 4: he is a god. He was an American. He was
- 13:43Speaker 4: such an American, right, Okay? Massive. I don't want to
- 13:48Speaker 4: put these two things in the same sentence and say
- 13:50Speaker 4: one means the other. But a massive punisher. Stuart Copeland,
- 13:53Speaker 4: Stuart Copeland, thanks very much. And the interesting life though
- 13:58Speaker 4: he was born in the States, but it was only
- 13:59Speaker 4: the for two months, and then he moved over to Egypt.
- 14:02Speaker 4: His father was a CIA agent who was and he
- 14:05Speaker 4: was pivotal and taking down the dictator of Egypt at
- 14:09Speaker 4: the time and putting in a US sympathizer as they've
- 14:12Speaker 4: been known to do once or twice. CAZy. Yes, a
- 14:14Speaker 4: lot of oil over there, Kezy. So he was sort
- 14:17Speaker 4: of went over there and was raised in Egypt and
- 14:21Speaker 4: that sort of area. Then he went over to London
- 14:22Speaker 4: and got into the pank scene and all that sort
- 14:24Speaker 4: of carry on. It was in two parts. Oh okay,
- 14:28Speaker 4: So there was an intermission. It was just him talking
- 14:31Speaker 4: yes for a long time, and there was a woman
- 14:33Speaker 4: there that was sort of m scene and or sort
- 14:35Speaker 4: of you know, helping the conversation along. Once he stopped
- 14:38Speaker 4: all of his you know, sort of ten fifteen twenty
- 14:40Speaker 4: minute monologues, did he go on. He knew its stories
- 14:43Speaker 4: really well. But then there was a twenty minute intermission. Yes,
- 14:48Speaker 4: I left, yeah, well, I mean I I was also baggered,
- 14:52Speaker 4: but it was and it was interesting. I would like
- 14:54Speaker 4: to get his books. He got our book. I've got
- 14:56Speaker 4: my book out there in the four year. You can
- 14:59Speaker 4: go there and buy that went out there, we have
- 15:02Speaker 4: got the book. We've only got t shirts. Oh, I said,
- 15:04Speaker 4: you've got the book. Now, we haven't got the book,
- 15:05Speaker 4: so I could have buy the book. Interesting guy. They
- 15:08Speaker 4: did him and sting. Eventually they fell out, unsurprisingly because
- 15:14Speaker 4: this guy would be a tough sort of a dude
- 15:17Speaker 4: to hang out with any for any extended period of time.
- 15:19Speaker 4: But anyway, what's that worth this? If I wasn't tired,
- 15:23Speaker 4: I would have stayed. It would have been four busies. Okay, year,
- 15:26Speaker 4: nice there was.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I've really been enjoying the Australian Tennis Open. I'm a
- 15:34Speaker 2: big fan of tennis, particularly the woman's game, because it's
- 15:38Speaker 2: not so orientated towards the power game of the men,
- 15:43Speaker 2: and it's a bit more it's a bit more tactical.
- 15:46Speaker 4: You're saying it lacks a lot of the skill, which
- 15:48Speaker 4: I thought was a shocking way to put it.
- 15:51Speaker 3: And last time I said, you're not watching it for
- 15:52Speaker 3: the skill anyway, which I thought was disgusting.
- 15:56Speaker 2: And I think it's pretty fair to say that when
- 15:59Speaker 2: it comes to the sport arena at the moment, I'm
- 16:01Speaker 2: pretty jaded on the old sport. He used to love
- 16:03Speaker 2: my sport, now not so much. But last night I
- 16:06Speaker 2: watched a magnificent match between a guy called Arthur Gayer
- 16:11Speaker 2: who's a Frenchman, Arthur Gayer, and he is like twenty
- 16:17Speaker 2: or twenty one years old. He got into the Australian
- 16:20Speaker 2: Open through qualifying and he played like literally twelve hours
- 16:24Speaker 2: of tennis in the last five days to get there
- 16:26Speaker 2: against Stan Warinka, who's from Switzerland and he's forty years old.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Bloody experience, he's really experienced. He's one of few Grand
- 16:35Speaker 2: Slams back in the day. Stan Warrenka was actually a
- 16:38Speaker 2: really good player, but he's Anka and it was just
- 16:43Speaker 2: a game where this is why I love sport. It
- 16:47Speaker 2: was a young, really talented dude who was clearly fitter,
- 16:50Speaker 2: clearly stronger, and an old fella who was wilie and
- 16:58Speaker 2: you know, clever and just working the angles. It was
- 17:02Speaker 2: one of the best games I've ever seen. The young
- 17:05Speaker 2: fellow took up the first set boom and looked like
- 17:07Speaker 2: it was going to be all over very quickly. Well,
- 17:08Speaker 2: Rinka came back in the second. The young fellow won
- 17:11Speaker 2: the third, looked like he was going to win the fourth,
- 17:13Speaker 2: and where Rinker came back, went to a fifth set.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Probably the best tennis I've ever seen with a young
- 17:18Speaker 2: guy just sending down booming serves and power and were
- 17:22Speaker 2: rinker just working the angles. He won the match. He
- 17:26Speaker 2: wasn't he Now he's through to the third round. He
- 17:29Speaker 2: wasn't even expected to get past of the first round
- 17:31Speaker 2: because he's old and decrepit.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Spoiler home and watch that's.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Already been played, your fools.
- 17:38Speaker 3: How many buzzies out of five?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Oh? That game? I'll give four busies out of five.
- 17:42Speaker 2: It was a great game of tennis.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Right, so the greatest game of tennis you've ever witnessed,
- 17:46Speaker 3: and it's only four busies out of five.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I didn't say it was the greatest game I've ever witnessed.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Gas literally Steffi graff versus what was his name? Sabatini?
- 17:57Speaker 4: Oh that was a crack.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Hey, you coming up out to five Fellers the Friday Throbber.
- 18:02Speaker 3: This one's an absolute stomker.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Weekdays at four on Radio Hodarcky.
- 18:13Speaker 2: It's the hol Lucky Big Shows, Friday Throbber, great company.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Oh damn, why do I keep forgetting that one?
- 18:23Speaker 4: Shock and burst?
- 18:23Speaker 2: It's terrible. Thanks for joining us this Friday afternoon. I
- 18:28Speaker 2: hope you're having a cracking day. Now, there may be
- 18:31Speaker 2: a few people listening to us for the first time,
- 18:32Speaker 2: and they may be thinking to themselves, what is the
- 18:34Speaker 2: Friday thrubber feelings? Now? Basically the Friday thrubber as we
- 18:38Speaker 2: each pick a chuon here in the studio, you guys
- 18:41Speaker 2: out there and the general public decide what you want
- 18:44Speaker 2: to play as your Friday Throber to kick off the weekend.
- 18:48Speaker 2: You call us on our eight hundred ho lucky and
- 18:50Speaker 2: the first to two wins.
- 18:52Speaker 3: That's right, Jase, It's a magnificent segment. We've been doing
- 18:55Speaker 3: it since the start of the show, to be honest,
- 18:56Speaker 3: we have and it always goes down well. And Pugs,
- 19:00Speaker 3: our producer and studio b is on record saying that
- 19:03Speaker 3: this robber is the best one that he's seen in
- 19:06Speaker 3: a while.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Yes, he's absolutely almost interested in it.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Can I just and I don't want to focus on this.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Here we go, Here we go, Here we go, Here
- 19:16Speaker 3: we go.
- 19:16Speaker 2: What has it been fourteen weeks now for you, Keasy
- 19:20Speaker 2: since your last win? Yes, it was like thirteen last year,
- 19:23Speaker 2: I think, and it was one this year.
- 19:25Speaker 4: I think it was thirteen going into the last one
- 19:27Speaker 4: last year, which made it fourteen that was fifteen.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Oh it was fifteen okay, I just just take note
- 19:32Speaker 2: of it.
- 19:33Speaker 4: But they also always count the break, so it was
- 19:37Speaker 4: another four weeks, so nineteen nineteen weeks since he's had
- 19:41Speaker 4: a win.
- 19:41Speaker 2: It is, yeah, yeah, well technically speaking, it is, I suppose.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I mean, it doesn't matter like it's just a lot. Honestly, guys,
- 19:49Speaker 3: as long as we're making great radio that I'm winning,
- 19:55Speaker 3: We're all winning.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, true man, true good stuff.
- 19:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Well, why don't you start us off?
- 19:59Speaker 4: Jason?
- 20:00Speaker 3: Song to the epect today?
- 20:01Speaker 4: Man?
- 20:01Speaker 2: You went no, no, not different times are for a
- 20:04Speaker 2: bit of news unraveling.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Well, they're really going to town on all sorts of
- 20:23Speaker 3: instruments and things there, aren't they they are?
- 20:25Speaker 4: Man.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good song though.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Thanks man. Did you go with old Kiz?
- 20:30Speaker 3: What do you always get to go?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Last night? Last long?
- 20:34Speaker 4: I'm heavy going now? I just can't. I couldn't remember
- 20:36Speaker 4: the name of the song that I.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Here's the song that I chose. It is from Pearl Jam.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Oh great, I love a bit of Pearl Jam, doesn't.
- 20:43Speaker 3: It's a song as well that I thought stations would
- 20:46Speaker 3: play more, but they never seemed to once.
- 21:04Speaker 2: That's a I love that song.
- 21:06Speaker 3: That's the first pel Jam song I ever heard and
- 21:08Speaker 3: was like, Wow, this's band rules.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Totally man, and that conjures all sorts of memories for
- 21:13Speaker 2: Hody Jack. I love that song back in the day.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I still love it now.
- 21:16Speaker 3: You should, man, call eight hundred Hadarkey and vote for it.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Man, I'm going to good idea. Mogi, oh, Mogi. Here
- 21:22Speaker 4: he's gone with a bit of Prodigy Invaders must die.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Well, there you go, New Zealand three Throbbers. There you decide.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Give us a call right now on eight hundred Hoarchy.
- 21:49Speaker 2: In the meantime, here's Lincoln Bark.
- 21:51Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hierarchy.
- 21:58Speaker 2: It's the Shoes Friday Throbber.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Shocker, Old man, what's happened to your brain?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Brother? I have some sort of weird mental block with
- 22:13Speaker 2: that one at the moment. I don't know what. I
- 22:14Speaker 2: just forget that. That's what we do with it.
- 22:16Speaker 4: It's been nineteen weeks since he's done that.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Yeah, if people don't know what we're talking about. At
- 22:20Speaker 3: the start of the Throbber, we go do dish randomly after.
- 22:24Speaker 4: The music in music.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, Today's Friday Throbber is a good and feelers Yeah,
- 22:30Speaker 3: I think so. It's just a wild card. Three massive tunes, Jace,
- 22:34Speaker 3: you were first. What was the name of your song?
- 22:36Speaker 2: Unraveling by mus.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Then I love that little noise in there. That is
- 22:51Speaker 3: a tune, though I chose one by Pearl jam It
- 22:54Speaker 3: as once.
- 23:08Speaker 4: And I went Invaders Must Die.
- 23:10Speaker 3: By Prodigy Prodigy.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Three tunes.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah, man, there you go, you decign new Zell. Let's
- 23:31Speaker 2: go to the phone lines. Get a kit your Mayor
- 23:33Speaker 2: Barsett house life.
- 23:35Speaker 5: Gone pretty ground their mate? How are you fellows?
- 23:39Speaker 4: Mate?
- 23:39Speaker 2: What are you running with? The kirk? Jason?
- 23:42Speaker 5: You just sound like you've got multiple songs playing at
- 23:44Speaker 5: the same time. So that's probably why Pugs is so
- 23:47Speaker 5: keen on this one. But I'm going for Mogi. I
- 23:51Speaker 5: don't want to break third ship Crists three.
- 23:57Speaker 3: That's very much.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Do you start?
- 24:00Speaker 3: Seriously, this is the thing that when you guys are
- 24:03Speaker 3: influencing the outcome of The Throbber.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Just talking by yarning about this well, after the after
- 24:10Speaker 4: the Throbber Face and I will come up with a
- 24:11Speaker 4: solution for.
- 24:12Speaker 2: This movie, definitely, And it's going to Patrick online to
- 24:15Speaker 2: you can Patrick your mad Bassard. What are you running.
- 24:18Speaker 5: With your winning your fellow?
- 24:22Speaker 6: Yeah, cool, I'm gonna have to go with sorry fellow.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Sorry, that's totally okay, that's Patrick.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I appreciate it. And the good thing about the way
- 24:32Speaker 3: he just did that was he didn't compliment the song
- 24:34Speaker 3: at all.
- 24:35Speaker 4: No, it's just trying to get your way, which really
- 24:38Speaker 4: takes a Hey.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Is there a jury?
- 24:44Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 24:45Speaker 2: What are you running with? Jewey? I am going to
- 24:48Speaker 2: put Key because it was a tune and he needs
- 24:50Speaker 2: to win.
- 24:51Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Yeah, but I had to throw my ice to the front.
- 24:57Speaker 3: I had to throw my toys first. And now you
- 25:00Speaker 3: or He's going to be the sympathy vote. Thank you
- 25:01Speaker 3: very much, Joy.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I appreciate it, mate, Yeah, great stuff, love you man.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Congratulations Keezy. And and the good news is I love
- 25:08Speaker 2: the song so I'm going to turn it up in
- 25:10Speaker 2: my headphones here.
- 25:10Speaker 3: That's right. It is Pearl Jam once And if you
- 25:14Speaker 3: want to give your opinion on the Throb, I don't
- 25:15Speaker 3: forget to text us on three, four eight three.
- 25:18Speaker 1: The Whole Archy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hod.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Ikhe that's your Fridays drobber there once by Pearl Jam.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Keyzy's finally off the mark again. You feel good about.
- 25:31Speaker 7: That, Keyzy.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I guess, so you go monkey man, Well,
- 25:36Speaker 3: I don't know if it's a monkey.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Old albatross around the neck.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm going to monkey on my back in
- 25:40Speaker 3: an albatross around my neck because I hadn't won the
- 25:42Speaker 3: Throbber in like a little while.
- 25:43Speaker 4: You had a thumbine in your ass. It's been shocking
- 25:46Speaker 4: from you.
- 25:49Speaker 3: What the good news is? Just looking at the scoreboard
- 25:52Speaker 3: here way out in front, way out in front on
- 25:57Speaker 3: one win for the year, Mowgi and keys, he tied
- 26:01Speaker 3: killing in last place, way behind old Hoidy j on
- 26:04Speaker 3: zero wins.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well you know, I'm I'm very happy to cop that.
- 26:09Speaker 2: It was a great song.
- 26:10Speaker 4: It's a great Chune's great chune. Yeah, it's cheered up.
- 26:13Speaker 4: That's cheery right up, a keezy.
- 26:14Speaker 3: It's made no difference.
- 26:15Speaker 2: It seriously takes me back to a time in my life.
- 26:19Speaker 2: That song. And I used to pump the ass out
- 26:21Speaker 2: of it. I have a song, ah, the song, Yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 2: and I used to turn it out full vole.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yeah, nice mate. So the good news is, fella is
- 26:31Speaker 3: the nineteen week losing streak.
- 26:33Speaker 4: It's all over history.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah bye. By about nine weeks.
- 26:38Speaker 3: I think you're just pulling that figure out of your ass,
- 26:40Speaker 3: by the way, speaking of us, and also I don't
- 26:42Speaker 3: want next week's Throbber to start with Jay saying now, look,
- 26:47Speaker 3: just saying yes, Keysy's on a hot streak or keys
- 26:52Speaker 3: Keysy's this, or keys is there, or Keysy's cockerhoop hitting,
- 26:55Speaker 3: because that is influencing the vote.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Okay, then I think the only way that we can
- 26:58Speaker 4: do this is and if you can manage this, Keezy,
- 27:01Speaker 4: is that we have to do and it has got
- 27:03Speaker 4: to be anonymous. We just Pugs plays three, we give
- 27:08Speaker 4: them to them, he plays them out, bang bang bang.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Nobody knows who it is until the winners announced. I
- 27:13Speaker 4: think we tried this once a well and then you
- 27:15Speaker 4: kept on saying who no, no, that like ages ago, talking
- 27:19Speaker 4: years ago, and.
- 27:20Speaker 3: The audience didn't like it. Oh, they were like, I
- 27:22Speaker 3: want to know whose song is whose?
- 27:25Speaker 4: You're just gonna have to put up with it. I
- 27:26Speaker 4: was trying to offer, that's the only solution there is
- 27:28Speaker 4: to have it anonymous. Ye, why don't we try it?
- 27:31Speaker 4: See what happens. Also, it's very easy to know because
- 27:35Speaker 4: Jason always chooses the deaf tones. I always choose Probagy
- 27:38Speaker 4: and Rage, and you always choose the Thompson Twisters.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Okay, I chose the Thomass once about three years ago.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Or okay, I'm keen to try the other thing. You
- 27:49Speaker 3: say that that's the only way around it. Or Jace
- 27:51Speaker 3: could just not mention anything to do with me going
- 27:54Speaker 3: into this robber. Yeah, is that possible.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I don't know that it is.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Oh well, let's have got a win for the.
- 28:06Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy
- 28:10Speaker 1: Green Day.
- 28:11Speaker 2: There on the Radio Holdarchy Big Show this Friday afternoon.
- 28:14Speaker 2: The time is twenty five minutes past four o'clock. I
- 28:16Speaker 2: believe in the middle of that tune we played the
- 28:18Speaker 2: Reburger STINGY.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Certainly did Jason. The good news is Pugs has made
- 28:23Speaker 3: a brand new Reburger intro. I don't get here.
- 28:26Speaker 4: It is here.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Collie's getting lazy.
- 28:33Speaker 4: He's made a new sting for you.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Oh you'll get into that a little bit later on.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Actually no we won't. Yeah, no, we diderent We definitely he.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Has made a new sting for me. Do you want
- 28:42Speaker 3: to hear it?
- 28:43Speaker 2: Yes?
- 28:43Speaker 4: Okay, here it is dude ship. He pleases it.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Yeah cool, We're never going to use it ever.
- 28:56Speaker 4: Can you imagine that on a T shit?
- 28:58Speaker 3: Birdship Broki?
- 29:01Speaker 2: I think it was bird shit.
- 29:04Speaker 3: It's not going on a T shirt.
- 29:05Speaker 2: That is so good. Let's go to the phone lines.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Good a Toto, your mad bastard, Hell's life life? Yeah,
- 29:14Speaker 2: good on you, mate. What do you do for a crust? Totto?
- 29:18Speaker 6: What I do for crusters are bake bread?
- 29:20Speaker 5: Oh?
- 29:21Speaker 2: Yeah, nice. I'd love to say you're a baker obviously. Yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 2: I would love that kind of job. I reckon and
- 29:29Speaker 2: the smell of freshly baked bread, Fellas, is there a
- 29:32Speaker 2: bit of smell in the world? I think not?
- 29:36Speaker 4: Yeah, you're rolling out of the old fat seck there, man,
- 29:41Speaker 4: Oh sparrows fat, sparrows fat.
- 29:43Speaker 3: You're right, so I say, like four am, yeah, three
- 29:46Speaker 3: thirty three.
- 29:49Speaker 4: But one time you beckon the old fat section three
- 29:55Speaker 4: thirty jeez? Is it right? You stop off at the
- 29:59Speaker 4: Pokes on the way home.
- 30:02Speaker 6: And the other red light?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yeah? Good on you?
- 30:07Speaker 3: To do you drive there in your old fart box?
- 30:10Speaker 2: Man?
- 30:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:14Speaker 2: The holding yeah, hey, tod, what are the plans for
- 30:18Speaker 2: the weekend? Mate?
- 30:20Speaker 6: Understand doing a bit of work and I'm like see
- 30:23Speaker 6: if I can sneak into the old summer concert.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Okay, concept goes good.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Who's playing this yere Man pop?
- 30:31Speaker 3: Oh wow? Yeah, that goes really good. At the old
- 30:34Speaker 3: the boulder up into a few of them. God, Topaul
- 30:38Speaker 3: is always chukker though, isn't it?
- 30:40Speaker 6: That's crazy? You don't try to go to the supermarket today?
- 30:43Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 30:44Speaker 2: What I tell you? What?
- 30:46Speaker 3: Hang on? Hang on, We've got to questions.
- 30:49Speaker 2: We've already asked them about teen but all of.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Those are fart sac related. We've got to ask them
- 30:54Speaker 3: the actual questions.
- 30:55Speaker 4: The questions that can be relatively quick.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Okay, here we go real quick, Todd, this is just
- 30:59Speaker 3: Edmund in order to make sure you can win the prize.
- 31:01Speaker 3: What's for dinner?
- 31:04Speaker 5: Uh, porkmand?
- 31:09Speaker 11: How often do you floss every Wednesday?
- 31:13Speaker 3: What color are your undies?
- 31:17Speaker 6: Minecraft?
- 31:17Speaker 9: Pattern?
- 31:20Speaker 3: Minecraft? Pat easy? Yeah, I've got some of this, Jason.
- 31:23Speaker 3: And what's your deepest fear?
- 31:28Speaker 11: Uh?
- 31:29Speaker 5: The missus?
- 31:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:31Speaker 4: Good stuff, Todd.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Well, the good news is, mate, you've officially got yourself there.

- 31:52Speaker 3: Thanks for listening, mate, God he was a bat bane
- 31:55Speaker 3: absolutely about the front. Yeah, what the hell is the
- 31:59Speaker 3: fun coming up next? By the way, Fellas Moggie, you've
- 32:03Speaker 3: teed up some sort of toy expert.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I have this guy as he's he's an ecologist, Jase,
- 32:09Speaker 4: you heard about those. Yes, he's an absolute weapon. He
- 32:12Speaker 4: knows all about birds. So it's going to first he reckons.
- 32:15Speaker 4: He'll be able to tell us what kind of bird
- 32:16Speaker 4: it is instead of this sort of back and forth
- 32:19Speaker 4: we've been having with the listener. Some say toy, some
- 32:21Speaker 4: say sparrow, some say more more, yes, more.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Someone said a keiwi. It could be a key we yeah,
- 32:28Speaker 2: and the tree.
- 32:29Speaker 4: There combed up the tree there.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not sure what kiwi sounds like. But and
- 32:33Speaker 3: if you don't know what we're talking about, Mogi he's
- 32:34Speaker 3: got a bird that wakes him up every morning at
- 32:36Speaker 3: four am.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Yes, not sure what it is every morning?
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, So we'll be chatting to him next.
- 32:42Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodikey.
- 32:46Speaker 2: MenShing Pumpkins There on the Radio Hodarchy big show this
- 32:49Speaker 2: blustery Friday afternoon. We were talking earlier in the show
- 32:53Speaker 2: about Moggi's bird issues. Weren't we, Mogi?
- 32:56Speaker 4: We absolutely were, Mate. I've got some bastard up there
- 32:59Speaker 4: in the tree next door and he starts roaring at
- 33:02Speaker 4: about four o'clock every single morning, goes for a couple
- 33:05Speaker 4: of hours, wakes up all the other birds. Once he's
- 33:06Speaker 4: done that job, he goes for the day and the
- 33:08Speaker 4: other birds keep me awake. We've put it over the
- 33:12Speaker 4: over the year waves today and we've got a lot
- 33:14Speaker 4: of texts on three four eight three. There's still some
- 33:17Speaker 4: disagreement as to exactly what kind of bird it is.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Some people say toy, some people say sparrow. We don't
- 33:22Speaker 4: really know, but yeah, spotted tete. Yeah. But fortunately we've
- 33:28Speaker 4: got Nick Goldwalder on the line. He is a senior
- 33:31Speaker 4: principal ecologist at Wildlands New Zealand. How good man, How
- 33:35Speaker 4: good's that.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Can a house life?
- 33:38Speaker 11: Oh?
- 33:39Speaker 8: Good? Good?
- 33:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 33:40Speaker 8: No great, great to be on the show with you, guys.
- 33:42Speaker 4: We need to put to bed what what kind of
- 33:44Speaker 4: a bird this actually is? So Keys is going to
- 33:46Speaker 4: play the tune for you and see what your records
- 33:48Speaker 4: If you can name that bird.
- 33:49Speaker 12: All right, Eric comes, sure, yep, I know that.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yeah, what what are we looking at?
- 34:02Speaker 8: Then next would be the that would be the toy
- 34:04Speaker 8: or the parson bird.
- 34:07Speaker 11: They start up, they start up very early in the
- 34:09Speaker 11: morning in some parts of Orphans.
- 34:11Speaker 4: They certainly do. Mate, they certainly do. And I guess
- 34:13Speaker 4: I'm at the point now because when I first moved
- 34:15Speaker 4: on and you hear a toy going at four o'clock,
- 34:17Speaker 4: you think to yourself, jeez, how lucky am I beauty
- 34:20Speaker 4: one of one of New Zealand Al's great natives, the
- 34:23Speaker 4: toy beautiful bird it is. But by the second day
- 34:27Speaker 4: you're completely over it.
- 34:29Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, there's you're you're not the first person to
- 34:32Speaker 11: complain about that. And this and this typically happens in
- 34:36Speaker 11: urban areas where they actually start their morning shift about an.
- 34:40Speaker 8: Hour an hour and a half earlier than they would
- 34:42Speaker 8: in the in the forest.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 34:43Speaker 8: That's because that's because.
- 34:45Speaker 11: They it's the quiet time before the traffic and the
- 34:48Speaker 11: human noises start. So they like to get their calls in,
- 34:51Speaker 11: particularly in breeding season, which is which is summer.
- 34:55Speaker 4: Ah.
- 34:55Speaker 8: Yeah, those males like to yeah, get their it is
- 35:00Speaker 8: out call to their neighbors and call.
- 35:02Speaker 2: To their potential lovers, right, so potential lovers.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Yeah, so Nick, you are you telling me this? This
- 35:08Speaker 3: toy that's in Mogi's tree is not only waking up
- 35:11Speaker 3: waking them up first thing in the morning, but it's
- 35:13Speaker 3: also running a rager.
- 35:15Speaker 11: Absolutely like like like humans too. He are pretty much
- 35:20Speaker 11: preoccupied with six food and territory at this time of
- 35:23Speaker 11: the year. So he'll he'll, he'll be on the lookout
- 35:27Speaker 11: for for potential mates and also telling other males just
- 35:30Speaker 11: to keep their distance. It's like, hey, can I just
- 35:33Speaker 11: ask you what area you're in?
- 35:34Speaker 4: We're in We're right by the bridge at Saint Mary's Bay.
- 35:37Speaker 8: Yeah, because I recognize that, I recognize.
- 35:40Speaker 11: That call for that that that call is the same
- 35:42Speaker 11: dialect as the unders down the road and Pontibly. I'm
- 35:47Speaker 11: actually just I'm a neighbor of Johnny Bruff's your good colleagues.
- 35:53Speaker 4: It's the same, goddamn bird.
- 35:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it's the same.
- 35:56Speaker 11: It's the same. It's the same tribe. If wow, for
- 36:00Speaker 11: lack of a better word, they have their own. There's
- 36:03Speaker 11: a dialect in pont by Saint Mary's Bay, Herne Bay,
- 36:08Speaker 11: gray Land area. Can I just call we call them
- 36:10Speaker 11: the car.
- 36:10Speaker 8: Alarm, Tuy, they sound like a bloody caro alarm?
- 36:13Speaker 6: Can I just recognize that straight away?
- 36:15Speaker 3: Their dialects coming from Ponto and some Mary's band there
- 36:17Speaker 3: is it.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Like, oh, I'm just going to park my pejeria and.
- 36:26Speaker 6: That's right, that's right. They've got a certain toffiness to
- 36:29Speaker 6: their to their dialect.
- 36:31Speaker 4: So there's probably a certain amount of hard and up
- 36:33Speaker 4: that I've got to do here. But as four o'clock,
- 36:35Speaker 4: even if it was five o'clock, I could deal with
- 36:36Speaker 4: it because I'm an early riser anyway. But there's Toy.
- 36:40Speaker 4: He's taken the pass man.
- 36:42Speaker 11: They do take, they do take the piss, and it's
- 36:45Speaker 11: just they've got a sense of humor and they know
- 36:48Speaker 11: they're upsetting people.
- 36:49Speaker 8: But you know, they are a protected species, so there's
- 36:51Speaker 8: not much you can do about it. Sleeping downstairs in
- 36:54Speaker 8: the sphere.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Room, mate, we're in the We're in the quietest room
- 36:57Speaker 4: that there is. Wait, why am I moving? Thank god?
- 37:03Speaker 5: You know?
- 37:03Speaker 4: The only thing I was hoping for, you know what
- 37:05Speaker 4: I was hoping for. I was hoping. I was like, look,
- 37:07Speaker 4: I can't do it to it. I can't kill it
- 37:09Speaker 4: to you, and I wouldn't want to but I can't
- 37:10Speaker 4: even get rid of it. What can I do? And
- 37:13Speaker 4: I thought I'd probably been dead, so I googled their
- 37:15Speaker 4: lifespan twenty if in years, man, twenty if in years
- 37:18Speaker 4: my daughter.
- 37:19Speaker 11: On the long side, it's around twelve, Oh sweet, twenty years.
- 37:24Speaker 11: You could you could set up a bird feed or
- 37:27Speaker 11: somewhere else in the garden.
- 37:29Speaker 4: That yeah, it's a more humane hey and other news, Nick,
- 37:34Speaker 4: I just got a kitten, So in a couple of
- 37:36Speaker 4: months I'll be sending that straight up the top.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Hey, neck, thanks so much for joining us. Mate, We
- 37:42Speaker 2: appreciate your expertise. We'll get you on again soon probably.
- 37:45Speaker 6: I'd love to love to see you fell on your mate.
- 37:48Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy Tune in.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Four on Radio Faith No More There on the radio
- 37:56Speaker 2: Hold Archy Big Show. This blustery Friday afternoon, Fellers, if
- 38:01Speaker 2: you don't mind, I've got a bone to pick. I
- 38:06Speaker 2: got a bone to pick now, Mogi, there we go.
- 38:12Speaker 2: You'll be aware of the fact that old Keysy.
- 38:15Speaker 3: I knew it, so for a second there I was like, oh, yeah,
- 38:18Speaker 3: he's got a bone to pick with Mogi, And I
- 38:21Speaker 3: was like, no, I doubt it though, Okay, carry on.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I'd never have a bone to pick with.
- 38:28Speaker 3: No, that's not getting it.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Now, moggie. You'll be aware of the fact that Old
- 38:33Speaker 2: Keysy and I when we finish our day's hard jacker
- 38:38Speaker 2: walk to the car park together. And that's good. You know,
- 38:43Speaker 2: we have a little bit of chit chat, what are
- 38:45Speaker 2: you up to and all that sort of stuff. But
- 38:48Speaker 2: every single night, without fail, Old Keysy has to do
- 38:57Speaker 2: wheeze on the way out. On the way out, every
- 39:00Speaker 2: single night. So what ends up happening is I go
- 39:04Speaker 2: out onto the street and Keysy goes, oh, hold on, man,
- 39:07Speaker 2: I've just got to go wheeze. Now. I don't know
- 39:10Speaker 2: if he's got like a fifty liters bladder or what's
- 39:13Speaker 2: going on, or there's some staccato action happening. But without fail,
- 39:18Speaker 2: every time it takes at least ten minutes. And I'm
- 39:23Speaker 2: standing out and I'm on the street there. Okay, here
- 39:27Speaker 2: we go. I'm on the street there and it's like
- 39:29Speaker 2: a wind tunnel that street. Man, Yes, you'll know, and
- 39:32Speaker 2: I'm freezing my titsu.
- 39:34Speaker 4: You consider standing inside, well, no.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Because you know you and I are very similar. We
- 39:40Speaker 2: like to get to where we're going, you know, and
- 39:43Speaker 2: every single time Keezey has to do wheeze, and every
- 39:46Speaker 2: single time it takes more than ten minutes.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Jaz okay. First of all, Maggie, do you believe that
- 39:51Speaker 3: it takes me ten minutes to ouiz? Look, it sounds
- 39:54Speaker 3: like it's a bit of mayo on it, a bit
- 39:56Speaker 3: of mayo. It takes me two minutes tops to go wheez.
- 40:00Speaker 3: In fact, earlier in the show today there was a
- 40:03Speaker 3: song Plane eleven fifty seven by element A p was playing.
- 40:06Speaker 3: I went wheeze, came back before the song had even finished, right,
- 40:10Speaker 3: and that song's only like three minutes thirty. So how
- 40:12Speaker 3: do you explain that, mister lying about wheeze? Well, which
- 40:17Speaker 3: is your new nickname, Pugs make a sting.
- 40:18Speaker 2: The way that I explained that Keezy is that you
- 40:22Speaker 2: tend to punish about ten glasses of water but before
- 40:25Speaker 2: you leave, and then it all just builds up into
- 40:28Speaker 2: a bloated balloon bladder that and you know, you've said
- 40:33Speaker 2: from when you're a young fella, you've got a very
- 40:35Speaker 2: sort of thin urinal tracked from all the medications you
- 40:41Speaker 2: used to get. So it does, it does. It does
- 40:46Speaker 2: take a little while to come out what I.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Do, Jason's I just leave without him? Yeah, but he
- 40:51Speaker 4: does it because he helps you across the roads.
- 40:53Speaker 2: That's right. He helps me across the road. And I
- 40:55Speaker 2: like our little chip chats, you know what I mean.
- 40:57Speaker 2: It's just the teen to fifteen minutes that I have
- 40:59Speaker 2: to wait every night for him.
- 41:01Speaker 3: To do weas everyone, it's gone up to fifteen minutes
- 41:03Speaker 3: now for me to do we's okay, see okay, jays.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I need to drink lots of water, all right. I
- 41:08Speaker 3: just want to stay hydrated. And I like to go
- 41:10Speaker 3: wheeze first because I drive on the Awkland Motorway home
- 41:12Speaker 3: and sometimes it can take ages and I want to
- 41:14Speaker 3: be busting.
- 41:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I get that, okay, yeah, Oh well, I mean
- 41:17Speaker 4: because I would have suggested that you go for a
- 41:19Speaker 4: weez slightly earlier, thank you, and then you're ready about
- 41:21Speaker 4: I do take your point there that it's a long
- 41:23Speaker 4: drive home for you.
- 41:24Speaker 2: But he's a fit young buck. Magi. How many wheeze
- 41:27Speaker 2: does he need to do in an afternoon? Oh?
- 41:29Speaker 4: You have to ask him? How many waves do you
- 41:32Speaker 4: need to do?
- 41:32Speaker 1: Me?
- 41:32Speaker 2: Ill you like to do like eight steamers, I'll be.
- 41:35Speaker 4: About fifteen steamers. What's wrong with you Steamers.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Jace, don't come at me about going weeze or right,
- 41:42Speaker 3: I like going wheeze.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Okay, hey, now listen coming up after six o'clock. Keezy's
- 41:49Speaker 2: worried about.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Packs that I forgot to sit there too. It might
- 41:55Speaker 3: not be though it might not.
- 41:57Speaker 2: And we've got some meat Petty NEPs some advice to.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Hold a keep Big show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Tune in week days and four on radio.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Hold. I can welcome back Messive Bakblones. Hope your Friday's
- 42:11Speaker 2: going off. You're listening to the big show. Board to
- 42:14Speaker 2: you by rebe a gear.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gourmet eggs that will change
- 42:19Speaker 3: the game.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Me.
- 42:25Speaker 3: So he's gonna go silent after that.
- 42:26Speaker 2: It was the UM I'd like to vote that one down,
- 42:30Speaker 2: thank you. That was a shocker that just reaked of.
- 42:36Speaker 2: I can't be asked, okay.
- 42:38Speaker 3: So I feel like you guys would come back and
- 42:40Speaker 3: to be really harsh on the Reburgers things because we've
- 42:42Speaker 3: played that heaps last year.
- 42:44Speaker 2: I've never heard that before, have you.
- 42:46Speaker 4: I think I might have done, But yeah, I don't know, Keys,
- 42:48Speaker 4: I don't know, you know Look, we've had Indian conversations
- 42:50Speaker 4: with their content director. When you said something, you've got
- 42:52Speaker 4: to park. So something's going to go, got to go.
- 42:55Speaker 4: It's not gonna be something that you know Jase has
- 42:56Speaker 4: made up or you. I thought he was talking about
- 42:58Speaker 4: one of us. Oh yeah, probably do you reckon? He
- 43:01Speaker 4: was talking about a stink. You're right, actually, now that
- 43:03Speaker 4: I think about it.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Hey, just on Reburger guys, Well, I know you're going
- 43:07Speaker 2: out for dinner tonight, geezy, but it is Friday night
- 43:10Speaker 2: in your households, you know, takeaways night. Generally, speaking for
- 43:13Speaker 2: myself this evening, I don't know what's going but no,
- 43:17Speaker 2: it's not okay.
- 43:18Speaker 4: I prefer a I prefer a Sunday, okaying, no cooking
- 43:22Speaker 4: on a Sunday.
- 43:23Speaker 2: I hear. Well, Actually, funny you should say that Sunday's
- 43:27Speaker 2: now become an our household new recipe day.
- 43:30Speaker 4: That's what's an example of a new recipe?
- 43:36Speaker 2: Well, it's something we've never cooked before, Like I.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Was thinking, more specific, I.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Don't know what it is yet this Sunday and I'm
- 43:42Speaker 2: on the new recipe.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Like Nacho's with Perry Perry baked beans. That's new. You
- 43:48Speaker 3: did that the other night.
- 43:49Speaker 4: Yeah, you loved it, you loved it. What about some
- 43:52Speaker 4: dorido dust?
- 43:54Speaker 3: Are you going to talk about that yet? Because Jason's
- 43:56Speaker 3: got a theory that he's blocked up inside it's because
- 43:59Speaker 3: of the.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Now this is one based in science.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 44:05Speaker 4: We'll get to it.
- 44:06Speaker 2: We will at some point. And I'm still blocked up, fellas,
- 44:09Speaker 2: but people might be eating, so I'm not going to
- 44:10Speaker 2: go into.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Depth there, right, fair enough? Oh the chilies men? Yeah, chin,
- 44:16Speaker 3: this fellas, I'm worried about pugs. So we'll get him
- 44:20Speaker 3: in here to have a yarn.
- 44:21Speaker 4: He's going to love it.
- 44:23Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Hod Jilm Garden there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 44:30Speaker 2: this Friday evening. Now on the podcast Outra Today we
- 44:32Speaker 2: were chatting about the idea of old Hoidy Jay purchasing
- 44:35Speaker 2: a boat. Fellers. Yeah, because I love my fishing. The
- 44:38Speaker 2: only issue that I have with that is that I
- 44:40Speaker 2: never catch anything. Yeah, and that's because I'm not fishing
- 44:44Speaker 2: in deep water. Where I am out west, all the
- 44:46Speaker 2: sort of beaches are very flat and so it's very
- 44:50Speaker 2: hard to cast out into deep water. And the Fellows
- 44:53Speaker 2: suggested that I get a boat, and I tell you what,
- 44:56Speaker 2: I've been looking at the boat that we're giving away
- 44:58Speaker 2: here at Radio ho Lucky. Maybe I could do a
- 45:01Speaker 2: bit of a deal there with Hurducky. Yeah, yeah, because
- 45:05Speaker 2: he's actually it is in a good way, right, in
- 45:08Speaker 2: a really good way.
- 45:10Speaker 3: It's a fan chase of five three five center console
- 45:12Speaker 3: mercury sixty horse four stroke out board comes to the
- 45:14Speaker 3: voyager trailer and a whole lot of bells and whistles
- 45:16Speaker 3: as well. All the deats up a hurducky dot cott
- 45:18Speaker 3: in Zi. We have to do is name the boats
- 45:20Speaker 3: by texting boats to three four eight three, yeah, automatically
- 45:24Speaker 3: in the drawer. It's not done by what name we
- 45:26Speaker 3: like the best or anything like that. It is a
- 45:27Speaker 3: Lucky drawer. So whatever you put through as the name
- 45:30Speaker 3: of the boat will be written on the side of
- 45:32Speaker 3: it when we deliver it to you.
- 45:33Speaker 4: That's right.
- 45:34Speaker 3: So heaps of names will come through, thousands and thousands
- 45:37Speaker 3: of entries, which is great. And I've just been sent
- 45:39Speaker 3: a fresh a fresh batch of names, okay, So I'm
- 45:42Speaker 3: just gonna go through them one at a time. Yeah, okay,
- 45:44Speaker 3: Lady Chaser.
- 45:46Speaker 4: I don't get it. What I got to do with
- 45:48Speaker 4: a boat the water, that's not it?
- 45:51Speaker 3: Cracking tenneys with cracking spelled like release the kraken. No, no, okay,
- 45:58Speaker 3: you guys just gonna we're take them.
- 46:00Speaker 4: But that is a no from me. You know, the
- 46:02Speaker 4: crack and I believe lives in the ocean. It does
- 46:04Speaker 4: live in the ocean.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Is another name for a boat?
- 46:08Speaker 2: Mind it?
- 46:09Speaker 4: Okay?
- 46:10Speaker 3: Fin and tonic.
- 46:11Speaker 4: We've had that one.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Real bad man, r e e l real bad man.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I like I like that one.
- 46:21Speaker 4: You like that one?
- 46:23Speaker 3: Haunhawaka hakuna malwaka.
- 46:28Speaker 4: Can you spell that for me?
- 46:29Speaker 2: Nah?
- 46:30Speaker 3: It's actually not hard to spell, but it doesn't make sense.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Panny dropper working from home. Titan Uranus two names, two
- 46:38Speaker 3: separate names, Titan and Uranus. Wow uh chat cpt ce
- 46:45Speaker 3: like the cea small cock, small cock, she's a choker walker.
- 46:53Speaker 4: The hell is that these are just names?
- 46:54Speaker 3: Man, big nips, munch munch. This one here all in caps.
- 46:58Speaker 3: The beef, the beef.
- 47:01Speaker 4: These names are terrible?
- 47:03Speaker 2: Is going on? The standard has just dropped away completely.
- 47:06Speaker 4: We can all agree that a boat name is meant
- 47:11Speaker 4: to have a be a double on tendre or some
- 47:13Speaker 4: kind of play on words.
- 47:15Speaker 3: Yes, yes, Okay, let me just have a look here,
- 47:18Speaker 3: let me find one here for your hockey hockey face.
- 47:24Speaker 2: It's just going from bad to worse.
- 47:26Speaker 4: Okay, I did I did note that your old mate there, Allison.
- 47:29Speaker 4: What's who's the billionaire there, Larry Allison? Yes, I was
- 47:33Speaker 4: listening to I don't know if you guys listened to
- 47:35Speaker 4: the Breakfast Show. But he's recently had to change the
- 47:37Speaker 4: name of his ridiculously massive boat and he's changed it
- 47:42Speaker 4: to Ronan, you know, the Japanese warrior that goes from
- 47:45Speaker 4: town to town. Yes, it's it's sort of like like
- 47:49Speaker 4: a lot of American TV shows from the nineteen eighties.
- 47:51Speaker 4: But originally it was named after some kind of a
- 47:55Speaker 4: Japanese spirit, and the name of it was is an
- 47:58Speaker 4: arm is an arm And he was he've spoken about
- 48:00Speaker 4: it in his book and and talk Yeah, as an army,
- 48:04Speaker 4: that's right, and spoken about there's two of these deities
- 48:08Speaker 4: that exist in Japanese culture, and he named it after
- 48:10Speaker 4: one of them. Anyway, well, recently somebody pointed out to
- 48:14Speaker 4: him the fact that it was actually I'm a Nazi backwards.
- 48:19Speaker 3: So if you looked in your rear vision mirror and
- 48:20Speaker 3: Larry Allison was behind you in his boat like I'm
- 48:23Speaker 3: a natzerh cool.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Yeah, excellent, just.
- 48:25Speaker 4: A coincidence, Jason, of course. But yeah, boat name does
- 48:29Speaker 4: have to be cool. So I don't know about small cock.
- 48:32Speaker 4: I don't know the relevance of that to the ocean.
- 48:35Speaker 4: It's been a very, very poor batch.
- 48:38Speaker 2: It's got to be on. I've got to be honest.
- 48:39Speaker 3: We're trying to encourage people to get in the drawer
- 48:42Speaker 3: of it.
- 48:43Speaker 4: You can. You can go straight to the top of
- 48:45Speaker 4: the list by having.
- 48:46Speaker 3: A great name. But it's a lucky dip, remember well,
- 48:49Speaker 3: of course it's a lucky dip. Yeah, three four eight
- 48:52Speaker 3: three texts of the word boat and make sure it's
- 48:54Speaker 3: good as you'll get dissed.
- 48:55Speaker 1: On the radio the Whole Lucky Big Show week days
- 48:59Speaker 1: from four on Radio Hodki.
- 49:01Speaker 2: Tom Pitty there on the radio, hold archy Big Show
- 49:04Speaker 2: this Friday evening. Now, we know a lot of people
- 49:07Speaker 2: are struggling out in the world there, and we feel
- 49:09Speaker 2: it's incumbent upon us as wise old fellows to give
- 49:13Speaker 2: out a bit of advice every now and then.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Dot Com get in touch with the fellas. Yes, it
- 49:27Speaker 3: is a really email address. Meet Patti Nibs sixty nine
- 49:30Speaker 3: at gmail dot com get in touch. It's one hundred
- 49:32Speaker 3: percent anonymous, and if we read it on the show,
- 49:34Speaker 3: you get a fifty dollard Reburg about you. This one,
- 49:36Speaker 3: Fellas comes from anonymous. Did a big show. I'm in
- 49:41Speaker 3: an ethical pickle and after some professional advice. I'm a
- 49:47Speaker 3: husband and father of two living in Auckland and have
- 49:49Speaker 3: been my whole life. You're a husband of two his
- 49:53Speaker 3: whole life a husband and father of two.
- 49:56Speaker 4: My husband and father of two.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Yes, because yeah right, I want to relocate and move
- 50:04Speaker 3: to Mount Mont minuis slash tote on it, but I
- 50:06Speaker 3: can't convince my wife that it's a good idea. Do
- 50:09Speaker 3: you have any suggestions? Cheers kind regards anonymous.
- 50:19Speaker 4: Suggestions.
- 50:23Speaker 2: It's interesting, isn't it? Because I always wanted to go
- 50:28Speaker 2: kind of coromandelish. I've always been a trail or Bay
- 50:33Speaker 2: of Islands, Bay of Islands, Coromandel. It was always my
- 50:36Speaker 2: sort of fantasy to do that. My wife was always
- 50:38Speaker 2: sort of, yeah, but what what what are we going
- 50:41Speaker 2: to do there? Make love?
- 50:46Speaker 4: So she's not keen.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Fish a m I actually catching fish in the Coromandel.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Definitely in the Bay of Islands. I would, right, But
- 50:56Speaker 2: you know the thing is what I've found is over
- 50:59Speaker 2: time it changes. And now I'm about to go and
- 51:02Speaker 2: live in the cb de Walk, you know, so just
- 51:08Speaker 2: give it time, I'd say.
- 51:11Speaker 4: Yeah, that's going to take too much time if you
- 51:13Speaker 4: give it time. Yeah.
- 51:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:17Speaker 4: Look, it's tricky, isn't it. If I was you, I
- 51:18Speaker 4: just moved there and hope that she sort of follows
- 51:21Speaker 4: you later, right, So he to go there?
- 51:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 51:25Speaker 4: Yeah, he wants to move there, So she does and
- 51:27Speaker 4: she doesn't. That's fine. So he can just move there
- 51:30Speaker 4: and she can catch up later or whatevers. That's what
- 51:34Speaker 4: you do, absolutely. I mean, you've what he's going to
- 51:37Speaker 4: remember is he's only got one life and he needs
- 51:39Speaker 4: to think about himself first and foremost. See what about
- 51:42Speaker 4: if his dreams die?
- 51:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 51:44Speaker 4: True?
- 51:45Speaker 3: You know I feel like that's the opposite advice you
- 51:47Speaker 3: should give to a husband and father of two. You know,
- 51:50Speaker 3: I feel like a.
- 51:50Speaker 4: Lot of most men are very committed to their families.
- 51:54Speaker 4: It's no future.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Life's full of hard choices. Keezy right calls.
- 51:59Speaker 4: Yeah, that's it. I mean, is it? Where does the
- 52:02Speaker 4: living now? Auckland wife, two kids.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Or crushing ocean beautiful scenery, right people.
- 52:12Speaker 4: You're from down that way, Kesy, Yeah, what are you rigging?
- 52:15Speaker 3: It's great. I'd love to live there, see that guy,
- 52:18Speaker 3: but my wife's.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Not keen Ah.
- 52:20Speaker 4: Well this is a trick. You move with old mate.
- 52:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and then maybe my wife moves in with
- 52:24Speaker 3: his wife and kids. Yes, I reckon it work.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Well you're in a similar situation, aren't you, Kesey.
- 52:34Speaker 2: You know, we have a partner that wants to be
- 52:37Speaker 2: somewhere else. I don't mean anywhere else with somewhere else
- 52:40Speaker 2: with someone else. I mean in another in another city perhaps.
- 52:43Speaker 4: Or playing squash or into a.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Work have to work drinks.
- 52:50Speaker 4: So I hope that helps.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Thanks for reaching out. To be honest, I think you're
- 52:56Speaker 3: just going to have to take you down there on
- 52:57Speaker 3: holiday and show around Webitt and fin some houses on
- 53:00Speaker 3: trade me or something like. We could be living here
- 53:02Speaker 3: imagining this right on the beach.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Sit.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Yeah, go down there. It's been a week down there,
- 53:06Speaker 3: life and short babe, let's just go.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Let's just go for it.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Man, yeah, man for the Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from
- 53:13Speaker 1: four on Radio Hidarky.
- 53:22Speaker 2: Well, there you go, your man, Basards. That's the big
- 53:25Speaker 2: show done and dustin for your Friday afternoon and indeed
- 53:28Speaker 2: for the week. What's the podcast outro clip?
- 53:31Speaker 4: Today?
- 53:31Speaker 2: Easy?

- 53:35Speaker 3: which comes out at seven thirty search Big show wever
- 53:37Speaker 3: get your podcast from. This is all about a fan
- 53:40Speaker 3: being very lit down after meeting old Mogi.
- 53:45Speaker 4: You're painting, you know, you're off your head, just noodle.
- 53:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Well it's the same as like working on
- 53:51Speaker 3: a car in the back shed or doing any of those.
- 53:54Speaker 4: When you've done that.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think have I done that? You?
- 54:02Speaker 4: Jason?
- 54:07Speaker 3: I didn't say that I had done it. I said
- 54:09Speaker 3: it's the same kind of two things. I thought we
- 54:16Speaker 3: were playing one clip and there wasn't. The clip wasn't,
- 54:18Speaker 3: so I apologize. And the second thing is I have
- 54:21Speaker 3: done that actually, and to be.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Fair, usually those bloody clips are stitching me up.
- 54:28Speaker 4: That's true. So was quite nice.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Hey Mogi, Yeah mate, what are your plans for the
- 54:35Speaker 2: tonight and the weekend?
- 54:36Speaker 4: But I had some plans for the weekd but the
- 54:40Speaker 4: rain's ruined it good raining again tomorrow it's thunder. So
- 54:45Speaker 4: I had some mates that invite me to go along
- 54:46Speaker 4: to the correct a millions. Oh ye, it's about forty
- 54:50Speaker 4: of them going. Half a dozen or so of them
- 54:52Speaker 4: are good mates from where I grew up. So I
- 54:54Speaker 4: said no to that because I'm trying to stay off
- 54:56Speaker 4: the booze. Yes, I thought it's a good idea. So
- 54:58Speaker 4: but they're having a lunch on the but tomorrow afternoon sorry,
- 55:02Speaker 4: thunderstorms hail apparently in Auckland, so that'll be good. So
- 55:05Speaker 4: they're going to have a great time at the races.
- 55:06Speaker 4: I'll see them the following day for lunch, yes, when
- 55:09Speaker 4: they're massively hungover.
