- 0:00All the blah blah blah. James Milah Rahman Rahim slam
- 0:03everyone, Welcome back to the aftermath of the podcast.
- 0:06Very good to have you back. If it's your first time here.
- 0:08Make sure you subscribe to the YouTube channel, Spotify, Apple,
- 0:11wherever you're listening so you can always catch up and always
- 0:14tune into the latest episodes. We've got a lot of content
- 0:17coming up in the next few weeks in Charlotte as we approach
- 0:20Shahramovan. Today is no different.
- 0:22We have a very special episode with one of our favorite
- 0:25favorite speakers, our favorite teachers and we're going to be
- 0:29talking about Imam Al Mehdi Aslah.
- 0:31The other followed your Sharif of course, as we know his
- 0:34blessed Willadhat is in the next couple of days and we're going
- 0:37to dedicate this entire episode to learning more about how to
- 0:40connect with the Holy Imam in our day-to-day lives.
- 0:43But this is not going to be one of those cliche majalis kind of
- 0:47conversations. Inshallah.
- 0:48This is a very deep and necessary conversation for us.
- 0:51I have, but as always before we get into the discussion it gives
- 0:55me great pride and honour to introduce my Co host.
- 0:59Salaam alaikum.
- 1:12Well, and I'm even better knowing that inshallah the
- 1:15entire Muslim world or the Shia world in particular are
- 1:18celebrating the auspicious birth of our living, breathing Imam
- 1:24hastens reappearance. So how are you?
- 1:27I'm OK at Hamdallah. It's it's a very joyous period,
- 1:30isn't it? Last week at Hamdallah we had
- 1:32the Shahaban molids of the heroes of Karaballah Alehim of
- 1:36Salaam, and we are now in that phase where Shahramovan is
- 1:40around the corner. We can smell the fragrance of
- 1:43Ramadan. And it's it's it's I don't want
- 1:48to say scary but it's like an intense yearning excitement.
- 1:53But at the same time it's kind of like we need to fix up
- 1:56because the day that that Shahramovan starts we need to
- 1:59know that we're in the right place for the coming month in
- 2:01sha Allah. So but you know we as we say we
- 2:03sow the seeds for Ramadan in these weeks.
- 2:06So Hamden Light, it's good. It's exciting time as well for
- 2:08the community, but yeah, it feels like we've today's guest.
- 2:13It feels like someone who we've been waiting since the beginning
- 2:16of after to have on. We've been trying to coordinate
- 2:20Hamdallah of last month that allows finally brought us
- 2:22together at the right time, said Ali.
- 2:28How you keeping safe? Al Hamdallah, thank you very
- 2:30much and it's an honour to be here with you all.
- 2:32So thank you for having us. I'm very concerned and happy
- 2:34now. I'm telling the say just before
- 2:36we start recording like this is like two years in the making.
- 2:39Yeah, and I really wanted this conversation to happen.
- 2:42So I'm excited for two reasons. Firstly, Noor and Alanor.
- 2:46So say which number can turn of the lights on top of our heads.
- 2:49But the main thing say that I wanna take this opportunity to
- 2:52apologize to you from when I was a very, very young boy and you
- 2:56were a teacher in Arabic school and a madrasah and I think I
- 2:59gave you so many headaches this so do forgive me there, honey.
- 3:02I've learned so much from you and you've continued to always
- 3:05be part of my life journey. Spiritually.
- 3:07It's Al Handala. It's an honor to have a great
- 3:09student like I, said Andy Rather.
- 3:11We had them of the added bait. And for me to be a teacher was
- 3:15an honor. And I have many cherished
- 3:18memories of those years that we were teaching in Albate School,
- 3:22Al Hamdala. We have many young women who
- 3:24were there. I can see the seeds, the fruits,
- 3:28the great blessings of those gatherings and sessions.
- 3:32There's nothing to afford so. I'm sure, I'm sure you've, I'm
- 3:34sure you've got some good stories as well to tell us, to
- 3:38share with the listeners. What happens in?
- 3:41They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?
- 3:43What? Happens in the classroom.
- 3:44Stays in the classroom, I said. This is of course such an
- 3:50auspicious, monumental, exciting occasion for us all.
- 3:56You know, we we always talk about the Holy Imam in all of
- 4:00our episodes and all of our conversations, and I think his
- 4:03presence in our day-to-day life is unmatched.
- 4:06Really. Of course.
- 4:06But before we get deep into the conversation, we have a kind of
- 4:12something we like to do an activity, which is whenever we
- 4:16have a special guest who joins us on the podcast, said Ali.
- 4:18And I like to get to know them away from the off the member as
- 4:23or you know kind of away from the topic.
- 4:26Now said Ali and I have thought of a question so I'm going to
- 4:28hand it over to Sayed Allahu Akbar to take over.
- 4:31No, no, Sayed this is yours. You do it way, but you set the
- 4:33scene better than. That Allahu Akbar.
- 4:35So the question is, it's like 2. They're linked together.
- 4:39Saying that and I, and I think I'll, I'll try to word it as
- 4:44simple as possible, is that what is your greatest fear, whether
- 4:50you are a young man or until this age here today, what could
- 4:54be your greatest fear? And if you can have one
- 4:57superpower, what would it be and why?
- 5:02Our greatest fear is at the end of the day that we're not on the
- 5:06team of that little bait and not with him or Mehdi so but that's
- 5:09was a man the day we were born so that our last days we want to
- 5:14really be with him. That's our greatest fear that
- 5:18the day when it's the decision making day and choices are made.
- 5:23Which team you're in, you know like a captain when they choose
- 5:27and they're like keep on selecting.
- 5:29You're in my team, you're on my team and you keep on waiting.
- 5:31Which team am I on? And if my Mehdi doesn't choose
- 5:35us and me particular on his team, it's my greatest fear on
- 5:39that day. The greatest superpower?
- 5:43A great. Power you'd love to have and
- 5:45why? Great power I'd like to have is
- 5:49to meet my Imam Allah, to meet Him Allah, Allah, and to be with
- 5:53Him and to remain attached to Him.
- 5:55Honestly, that should be our all, all our hope, every single
- 5:59one of us, to truly day in, day out, feel the Imam's presence
- 6:05within us. And that Imam should be within
- 6:07my heart, within my day, to their actions to show my love
- 6:10towards him, express my love towards him.
- 6:14He's not my Imam, he's not your Imam, he's all of us and he's
- 6:17the one we're really waiting for.
- 6:20How am I showing my eagerness for him?
- 6:22And that's my super. I just want that moment that we
- 6:25can really say that I have the Imam's presence amongst me, but
- 6:31more important than seeing him and having the ability to see
- 6:34him used to have the matter of thought of my Imam because there
- 6:37were many who saw the Imam in front of their eyes.
- 6:41But as the other say, it's not just about seeing physically the
- 6:46two eyes seeing the Imam, because some saw the Imam and
- 6:49they fought against the Imam. But having the matter of thought
- 6:53of the Imam, having the recognition of the Imam, having
- 6:57the ability to stand by your Imam, to show your love towards
- 7:01him, that should be for us all. That we wake up in the morning
- 7:05remembering our Imam before we sleep.
- 7:08We remember Imam. Whatever we do in our lives,
- 7:11he's part and parcel and he's the priority in my life today.
- 7:16Alhamdulillah, this blessing. We see this now in our
- 7:18majorities in our gatherings that we're reciting Dua
- 7:22Allahumma, Kuli Aliq and Hajjat Abdul Hassan.
- 7:25If you remember years and years ago, maybe people were not
- 7:28reciting as much. We need to reinstate it from the
- 7:30very young to the very old that always remember the imam of your
- 7:34time in your duas and prayers. So inshallah, we hope that we
- 7:38have this ability. Inshallah.
- 7:40Usefully said. I think that leads us on quite
- 7:42nicely as well to to the conversation today saying so of
- 7:46course we are two or three days away from the 15th of Shahaban.
- 7:51What goes through your mind on that day?
- 7:53Is it a day of yearning or I don't want to say sadness, but
- 8:00to an extent there is sadness because it's another year where
- 8:03the Imam is not with us and we are not with the Holy Imam, and
- 8:07it's another year where we recognize that the Imam is still
- 8:10waiting for us to be ready to receive him.
- 8:14So how do you approach that day? Is it one of of joy and
- 8:17happiness or how? What goes through your heart and
- 8:19mind? Of course, the month of Shaban
- 8:21in itself is a month of joy and happiness in terms of
- 8:23remembering the Willadat and the Milad events of the Abbad
- 8:28Karbala. Of the heroes of Karbala and
- 8:323rd, 4th of Shaban and 5th of Shaban Abel Fad Abbas in between
- 8:37Imam Hussain, third of Shaban Imams in Aberdeen on the 5th of
- 8:41Shabba. This leads on to the one who we
- 8:44recite in our where is the one who's going to avenge the events
- 8:52that took place in Karbala? And day by day, as we're
- 8:56approaching the 15th of Shaban, of course it's a day of joy and
- 9:00happiness, remembering the one who shall return justice and
- 9:05peace in the world that's been filled with tyranny and
- 9:09injustice, filled with oppression and injustice Also,
- 9:15before we enter the 15th of Shaban, Remember the night of
- 9:18the 15th of Shaban? It's the second holiest night in
- 9:24the Islamic calendar. After the night of the 15th of
- 9:28Shaban, there are many Ahmad and Duas to recite, prayers to
- 9:35recite from Macrib till dawn. One should spend the night in
- 9:41Ibadah, spend the night in remembrance of a loss of hand
- 9:45with other and itself. It's what it's a recall that
- 9:51rebuild your connection to Allah, subhan Allah and rebuild
- 9:55your connection to the Imam of your time.
- 9:58When it comes to the 15th of Shaban it's a day of joy and
- 10:01happiness but of course at the same time it's a day of
- 10:03remembrance. Yes, maybe it's a day.
- 10:06We should re pledge our allegiance a day to say what
- 10:11have I done from last year, 15th of Shaban to this year to step
- 10:18to take a few steps to take a few moments closer to my imam.
- 10:23Many times when we go to Majalis and when it's really quite
- 10:26packed, you find the the the chairperson would say Mohammed,
- 10:33Mohammed for example, and say take a few steps closer or
- 10:39they'll say please take two steps closer to the member so
- 10:42there's space for others. One day a man done this, he said
- 10:47please Momini take two steps closer to the member so the
- 10:50majors can begin and there's space for others.
- 10:53When the Qatri were on the member after his introduction,
- 10:58he said all my lecture can be summarized in what the
- 11:02chairperson said. Take two steps closer to the
- 11:07Imam of your time and it's a remembrance for us. 15th of
- 11:12Shaban How many steps have I taken closer to my imam?
- 11:17Sometimes you know these apps give us a remembrance physical
- 11:21steps you've taken. How much have you been walking,
- 11:24exercising your heart? Screen time.
- 11:26Maybe we should also screen time the the weakest screen time.
- 11:30Maybe we should have an app for those who are app developers
- 11:33there. How many times have I remembered
- 11:35my Imam of my time? Beautiful.
- 11:37How many times have I recited the Dua al Hajja?
- 11:41How many times have I told others about my beloved Imam and
- 11:4515th of Shaman Should be a moment of recollection
- 11:49recognition. One of the moments that we do
- 11:54remember is on 15th Shaban when we write the Arisa Arila Arila
- 11:59and we send it as a letter between you and your Imam.
- 12:02This is something beautiful. Let everyone speak to their
- 12:07Imam. Call out to the Imam from their
- 12:11heart to the Imam. That's why when it comes to the
- 12:1515th of Shaban, I should remember that my Imam is aware
- 12:19of my actions. How much have I done to please
- 12:22him? How much from last year to this
- 12:25year have I done to please him? And also, let's be positive, how
- 12:29much am I going to do this year to gain nearness to my Imam, to
- 12:35gain steps closer to my Imam, to show my love towards my Imam.
- 12:41Because it's true, when we say waiting, it's a waiting game,
- 12:47Imam is waiting for us, Imam is is waiting for us.
- 12:51Many times when we go to some gatherings, majoris, maybe we
- 12:55have one hour lecture about signs of the reappearance we
- 12:59hear about. For example the events of the
- 13:0115th of Shaban. What's going to happen when the
- 13:04Imam reappears? But what have we done to prepare
- 13:08ourselves for the Imam? I remember for example once we
- 13:13were going to images and the Radu, the Mullah said, look if
- 13:18the Imam was to appear now in this hall and was to ask you ask
- 13:24me for your mobile, said Ali. Here's your mobile, here's your
- 13:30phone. How many of us I sent you?
- 13:33I said how many of us already say here it is?
- 13:40Well, how many of us have to go to one side and say, let me
- 13:43clear the history, let me delete the photos And then after a few
- 13:46moments presented to him, how many of us already and like you
- 13:50know, hands hands on our head say I'm ready for you, I'm
- 13:54prepared. I'll give everything from my
- 13:57Imam, one of the great companions of the Holy Prophet
- 14:00that we all remember. Salman Al Muhammadi.
- 14:04Salman was from Persia. It's interesting.
- 14:09Imam Mossadeb Ali Abdullah Salat was Salaam used to constantly
- 14:14remember Salman. Yeah.
- 14:18So others who came to the 6th Imam said why do you constantly
- 14:22remember Salman Al Muhammadi companion of the prophet?
- 14:28He gave a number of characteristics and this is a
- 14:31reminder for us who wish to be the followers companions as Har
- 14:36Ansar of our Imam today. Because how was Salman a true
- 14:40companion of his Imam of his prophet He said one of his the
- 14:46first characters. He said he said Arthur, Arthur,
- 14:51Arthur. He don't want self sacrifice, it
- 14:56was altruistic. But how he sacrificed his own
- 15:01neffs desire. How a neffs Lihawa Amir al Mumin
- 15:06lihawa rasoolallah. He done what he done.
- 15:09Self sacrifice of his own personal desires for his own
- 15:12personal neffs. What he wanted for the what for
- 15:16what his Imam wished for what his prophet wished.
- 15:19And that shows he gave everything away for the love of
- 15:23Allah, in honor of his Prophet, in honor of his Imam.
- 15:26So how can my imam Remember Me today on the 15th of Shaban?
- 15:30How is my imam remembering me? What did I do to keep away those
- 15:35things, to bring myself closer to my Imam?
- 15:38I think it's a huge, huge day of recognition.
- 15:42I think it's, you know, those days that you're going to
- 15:44remember yourself. Let everyone give a moment a
- 15:48time, an allocated time on the 15th of shaban between
- 15:53themselves and the Imam between the Mullah.
- 15:56Santo, it's a great deal of significance.
- 15:58Yeah. You know, say you know, you've
- 16:00been speaking so much and I'm just, I keep thinking of so much
- 16:03scenarios. And hey, you're mentioning
- 16:05Salaman and Muhammadi. And it reminded me of a
- 16:07conversation I had with Ahmed a few weeks ago here on the
- 16:09podcast, in fact. And we were speaking about the
- 16:11likes of Amar, of Nayasir, Nathan and Tamar.
- 16:14And we were like, you know what made them them?
- 16:17They truly strived to become a model in yourself.
- 16:20They truly strived to become Nathan and Tamar and Charlotte
- 16:23is something we can all try and aspire to be working ourselves,
- 16:27change our daily habits, improve on.
- 16:28Ourselves. You know what they had sorry to
- 16:30interrupt you what they had which said Ali mentioned because
- 16:34they had they knew the Imam of their time and they didn't die
- 16:37the death of. That's a keyword.
- 16:38That's a big keyword. Yeah, and that that you know,
- 16:42said Ali. Your your your point about
- 16:47acknowledging the Holy Imam in our day-to-day just struck me
- 16:51because it's like you know we we pass through our daily lives
- 16:55sometimes so trivially. You know we we go through our
- 17:00day-to-day lives we wake up for work and we I saw a tweet last
- 17:03night which just struck me. I don't know if you saw the
- 17:05idea. I shared it on on the after
- 17:07market pages like you know we we how many of us set our alarms to
- 17:11wake up on time for for work. You know to to seek provision
- 17:16but we don't set our alarms to wake up to to seek from the
- 17:20provider. Our last month for faja and you
- 17:22know these kind of things in terms of daily reminders, daily
- 17:25connections to our last month. Allah to our holy imam.
- 17:28You know we we let them pass by and then only when it matters or
- 17:32at times of remembrance do we then recall.
- 17:35Oh yeah no I shouldn't. I shouldn't pick up.
- 17:38But you know, maybe there are times where we should take
- 17:41things a bit more seriously. I think for me, it's bridging
- 17:44the gap between my life and my religion and tying them into one
- 17:49my material, 21st century life as a father, as an employee, as
- 17:53whatever it might be. And they're connecting that to
- 17:56what my soul yearns for and what my my destiny is as a moment,
- 18:00for example. And finding the bridge between
- 18:03these two personalities, these two roles, responsibilities I
- 18:06have, I find that hard. Do you agree?
- 18:09Said. It is extremely hard because you
- 18:11can get so distracted say it And sometimes we, because we're so
- 18:14distracted by our worldly affairs, we have family, work,
- 18:18whatever it is that sometimes we forget that there is akhara,
- 18:21there is hesab, there is kitab and there is an imam waiting for
- 18:25us to do something to improve on ourselves because as you
- 18:27mentioned earlier, we waiting for him as he's waiting for us.
- 18:32Yeah. And he it's it's it's a two way
- 18:34relationship and we're sitting down every day saying Allah
- 18:36Mahajan the Willie Kalfaraj about do we really mean that And
- 18:40I think he goes back to that word Marfa that you mentioned
- 18:43and and I think it's nice to take the conversation this way
- 18:45said when it comes to Marfa, a lot of people are excited with
- 18:49this number 313. That's a question I want to ask
- 18:52because I see it everywhere. I see it on people's social
- 18:55media BIOS. Sometimes we see people inking
- 18:58themselves with tattoos with 313, like it has some meaning to
- 19:02them. But how can we understand what
- 19:05the significance of 313 is? Is it tied to companions?
- 19:09What is like the entire thing behind this numeric number?
- 19:13So 313 before the reappearance of our 12th Imam has a
- 19:18significant number in itself. 313 Of the Companions who were
- 19:23in the battle of Beddor, in the first Battle of Islam, against
- 19:30the Valamin, against the Mushrikin, against those who
- 19:33were enemies of the Holy Prophet of Islam, according to the
- 19:37narrations of the 6th Imam and the Imams of the Ali Bait the
- 19:42whole Las, the sincere early 1st special.
- 19:48Muklasin. Muklasin companions, who would
- 19:52be the first and the early ones to respond to the 12th Imam to
- 19:57be the first ones would be 313. Number does that mean from all
- 20:03the millions of Muslims only 313 will be with the 12th Imam and
- 20:07the rest will no, no, because they find the narrations
- 20:10continue, then thousands will join, will join.
- 20:15So of course, if we wish to be with those 313, we need to be
- 20:18like those Salman, those Amar the answer, Or if not knife
- 20:23Salman or Amar closer to the Imam of our time, closer to
- 20:28those who were Trudy of the companions at better companions
- 20:35of who companions of Imam Al Hussein on Sunday, Salaam
- 20:40companion those who are truly with their Imam.
- 20:44Those who wish to respond to the Imams call the 12th Imams, call
- 20:51the Imams, call from Makkal, Mukarama from the holy.
- 20:55Kaaba will not be only for the people of Makkah, but Allah,
- 20:59Allah, Allah, entire world, entire world.
- 21:04Before we would think how would it be possible for the call of
- 21:08the Imam to reach everywhere. Now we see very clearly, no
- 21:12doubt there would be a call, there would be a response also.
- 21:18Who would be of those who would respond and say this is what
- 21:22I've been waiting for my life, This is the moment that I should
- 21:26give away. And as I have given away
- 21:29everything for my Imam, I will continue to do so.
- 21:32Yes, the 313 is a significant number, but let's not be fixated
- 21:37on 313. I think sometimes we find people
- 21:39just fixated on numbers or try to join numbers 313 plus this
- 21:44number plus this number. Let's look at the quality, the
- 21:49quality of the 313, the quality of the woman who are with Imam
- 21:54Zahmiz Imam, the quality of the men who are with the Imam, What
- 21:58quality do they have? What characteristics do they
- 22:01have that I need to look into, that I need to refine in my life
- 22:04to be with the Imam. Those qualities that will make
- 22:10the Imam pleased with me. Sometimes we need to remind
- 22:13ourselves that Imam is not on a different planet.
- 22:18Imam is roaming on earth, Imam is walking on earth.
- 22:23We even have a narration that says that never disrespect or
- 22:29hurt any human being. Any person less.
- 22:32It may have been your Imam that you didn't recognize and you
- 22:35saw. Just be careful that your
- 22:38manners and morals should be the best with everyone.
- 22:40And when it comes to remembrance of the three one, three of those
- 22:45companions, what one of the characters that they have is
- 22:50they've done everything to please their Imam, Imam Asada
- 22:58Ali Abdullah Salah to someone they met.
- 23:00One of his companions came to him.
- 23:03This companion done a good deed that he felt and believed that
- 23:07no one saw of it except Allah. And the recipient of that deed
- 23:13when he met the Imam, Imam said to him, may Allah bless you for
- 23:17that great good deed of Salat al Rahim that you performed
- 23:21connecting with your relatives, family members are home.
- 23:24And I looked at the Imam said you're not a sulla.
- 23:28No one was aware except Allah. And the recipient Imam said
- 23:33something. What we believe in and what we
- 23:36should truly consider every day in our lives says, Are you not
- 23:39aware that you're Sahefa to Ahmad?
- 23:43Your Ahmad. Your actions are presented to
- 23:46us. We are aware of your actions.
- 23:48We are aware of what you do, how many of us.
- 23:52When my deeds are presented to my Imam today, he can't truly
- 23:57say that I'm pleased with you. Well done in London, in New
- 24:02York, in Washington, California and various parts of the world.
- 24:07This is my true follower. When it comes to the Salah time,
- 24:12he prays on time. When it comes to Akhlaq with his
- 24:15family, he has the best of Akhlaq when it comes to
- 24:19remembrance of Allah. He remembers Allah, he remembers
- 24:22of his family. Everything is Roman lillah.
- 24:27To please Allah and to please. So this becomes your lifestyle.
- 24:31You have to live in this way. It's nice because you've said
- 24:34you've found you've given us a practical tool on how to you
- 24:39know, remembering the Imam, thinking of the Imam, these are
- 24:42all actions that we we may do. But in terms of me becoming
- 24:46closer to the Imam in proximity, what you mentioned in the way of
- 24:51understanding the qualities that the Imam would look for in us
- 24:54because the link to Badr or Karbala makes me think of the
- 24:58companions that these two battles for instance and the OR
- 25:02in which we think of these companions Mellah bless them and
- 25:05the sort of qualities they had. As you mentioned the self
- 25:08sacrifice, the the the diligence to protect the Holy Imam knowing
- 25:14that the IT has to be compassion at times and patience at times.
- 25:18And these are all qualities that they had in the moment.
- 25:21But even to get to the battlefield in itself was a
- 25:23journey for them and for us to imagine that well the Holy Imam
- 25:28for him to also have 313 to accompany him be it literal or
- 25:33metaphorical means that we should be aspiring to reach the
- 25:37same qualities that these prior companions had.
- 25:39That's that is a practical outline for how we can call
- 25:44ourselves worthy of being followers in the Holy Imam or at
- 25:47least a journey for us to get there.
- 25:49Because to be very honest with you saying that some of us may
- 25:53listen to this and think for me to write my out either or for me
- 25:57to do the do al Faraj every morning, how much closer will it
- 26:01get me to the Imam? How much of A better human being
- 26:03will I be? But you know the focus on
- 26:06oneself, the Maha Siba that we do will insure a lot of work on
- 26:10that. What I wanted to ask Sid is the
- 26:13the, the, the thing you mentioned about justice, the
- 26:16Holy Imam bringing justice, he will come and he will talk to
- 26:20the people of Ireland, the people of the earth and he will
- 26:23say, I am here, the people of the world right now are focused
- 26:27on eradicating injustice on one side or in other cases are
- 26:32fuelling the fire of injustice. And we're specifically, when we
- 26:35talk of Palestine and the atrocities the 10s of thousands
- 26:39of people which are being slaughtered in Gaza.
- 26:42We we have are seeing of course the the absolute indiscriminate
- 26:45bombing of Rafa and the camp, the refugee camp where we are
- 26:49seeing horrific, heart wrenching pictures, videos, accounts of
- 26:54people who are losing their lives, children, women and those
- 26:58who are not able to access basic needs, water, food, health,
- 27:03necessities, mothers. I saw today a story of a mother
- 27:07who had given birth 30 minutes later she was made to walk miles
- 27:11towards safety because the area she was in was being attacked.
- 27:15Say the world is looking at a situation like this and people
- 27:18are calling out and praying for the Holy Imam.
- 27:21At a time like this. Either your faith in the Imam
- 27:24can increase or unfortunately perhaps for some it will
- 27:27shatter. How do we know that the Holy
- 27:29Imam will will come and inshallah resolve situations
- 27:34like this and it will be high on his priority list because it is
- 27:38hurting the hearts of people? Well, the primary aim of the
- 27:43Imam of our time as promised by the Holy Prophet and the Last of
- 27:48Hanat Allah has mentioned this in the Quran.
- 27:50Of course, JAL Haq was Zak al Baat.
- 27:54Yeah was Zak al Baat. That the truth shall arrive.
- 27:58And that truth is the truth of justice, the truth of all the
- 28:01prophets. Oh yeah, of Allah, those who
- 28:04truly were on the path of Allah, Subhan Allah, to truly determine
- 28:09the rule of war, of love, of peace, of justice.
- 28:14And yes, these are challenging times.
- 28:17These are difficult times. These are times of where we
- 28:21should really increase in our matter of our of our Imam, in
- 28:26our love, of our Imam and remembrance of our Imam, and
- 28:29truly remembered the oppression that's happening everywhere in
- 28:32the world, the oppression that's occurring, the oppression that
- 28:36is recurring. Also, it's not just this
- 28:39oppression that we remember in the last few months continuous
- 28:42this continuous oppression. The volume that we are seeing
- 28:46going to narration that people would be suffering and going
- 28:49through so much difficulty that some would be yearning for death
- 28:52and say saying yeah Imam return. We wish to only see the true
- 28:59justice, the justice of the Imam Sahab al ASI was Imam.
- 29:04So where we see this oppression and injustice, it's a it's a
- 29:09moment for us to reconnect with our Imam.
- 29:12It's a moment for us to truly pray for his reappearance.
- 29:15It's a moment for us to yearn. Because any system, and we've
- 29:19seen it now, any system, any ideology, has not brought the
- 29:24justice. Very true.
- 29:26It's corrupted. It's ascent except for the
- 29:28justice that the Imam will bring.
- 29:30The justice of the last part, which is the justice of Prophet
- 29:33Isa Ali Saddam, the justice of Jesus, which is the same call
- 29:39Jesus peace be upon him. The prophets of Allah, they all
- 29:43wish for a moment of Advent and by the way no one.
- 29:47Sometimes we always pray and say I wish to be with the Imam
- 29:51Imams. The previous Imams would say to
- 29:55those who are here today that they wish to be in this time and
- 29:59age. You know, sometimes we think why
- 30:02am I here in this time? Why was I not there at the time
- 30:05of the Prophet at Beddu? Why was I not there in Karbala?
- 30:09In fact, the Imams say those who are here in this time, the time
- 30:13of challenges, the time of oppression that they see and
- 30:16they remain firm on their faith. They remain holding onto their
- 30:20faith like how difficult it is when they say that those who are
- 30:25holding onto a iron burning charcoal for example, and they
- 30:30still remain faithful and they still remain firm on the faith.
- 30:34This is the time that the Imams say, the people who are there at
- 30:38that time and age, they're better than every other time and
- 30:43age. They didn't see their Imam, but
- 30:45they believed in him. They loved him, they remembered
- 30:48him, they talked about him, they yearned for his arrival.
- 30:53In fact, the six Imam and we are Jafari Shiatna Asharis, he would
- 30:59say Lo a direct to whom? Lahadam Tutulah Hayati.
- 31:05If I were there during his time, the 12th imam's time, I would
- 31:09have served him. I would have become of him.
- 31:13Not for a few hours, not a few days not for a few months
- 31:17because some people say that look, I've done a few hours of
- 31:20hidden that's you know, Imam Asad al Islam says I would have
- 31:27served him my entire life. This is what the Imam says about
- 31:32his great, great grandson. How many of us are serving our
- 31:3612th Imam? Serving him also during this
- 31:39time whereby when there is oppression in front of me, I
- 31:43stand up against the oppressors. Stand up whether in any way or
- 31:47means I can, whether it's by a letter, whether it's by standing
- 31:54up in a protest that I can, Whether it's spreading the the
- 31:57true understanding, the true teachings.
- 32:00Because that's the teachings of not only the 12th Imam of the
- 32:03teachings of Rasulullah, the teachings of Amir al Muni, the
- 32:07teachings of the Ahlbeit, the teachings of the Prophet of
- 32:10Allah, the teachings of all. Yeah, lost part other states to
- 32:15eradicate injustice, to eradicate oppression.
- 32:19Adalah is the first of those titles that we always remember.
- 32:23Why? Because also the Dean Tauheid.
- 32:24And then we say Adalah and then Amir al Munma say firmly, Kono
- 32:31Lavani, me Kasma, take a firm stance against the oppressor and
- 32:40be an aid towards the oppressed. And this is our stance today.
- 32:46And this should inshallah give us more hope that look, there is
- 32:52no true justice without the justice, the system of justice
- 32:57of our beloved Imam Al Anis Rafi Al Bir, the one who is truly
- 33:04loving towards his followers, towards his lovers, the one
- 33:08who's like a father's love towards his son, like a mother's
- 33:12love towards their children. That is the Imam of our time, a
- 33:15Rafi, that close companion, that friend of ours.
- 33:19That's where we need to really be and remember today.
- 33:24Yeah, it's only not thinking. You know the justice of Imam and
- 33:28Mehdi Allah Hassan's reappearance is technically the
- 33:30justice of Allah. The message on his advent,
- 33:33inshallah is the same message of Rasul Allah.
- 33:35And these are things that I think we have to factor in and
- 33:38remember that Al Mehdi is not coming back with something new
- 33:42and something different. Rather he's here to truly revive
- 33:44the same way Imam and Hussain on the plains of Karbala wanted to
- 33:48revive the teachings of Rasulullah Muhammad Sallallahu
- 33:50Alaihaiya Salem there are similarities and the reason why
- 33:53I'm going to connect this here. You mentioned Imam and Hussain
- 33:56very early on when we started this conversation and reminded
- 34:00me of that saying we always hear every year during Muharram.
- 34:03You know those who went against Imam Hussein, no, they wanted
- 34:07him, they loved him, they believed in him, they respected
- 34:09him, Their hearts were with him, but their swords were against
- 34:14him. And I and I think that's that's
- 34:15eyes into our conversation here today.
- 34:17As much as we're saying Allahu Mahajan, Luwalia Kalfaraj, are
- 34:20we ready for that return when he does come and shout a lot and
- 34:22this amazing Advent a lot of people are scared of because
- 34:25we've always grown up hearing you know, the signs of the end
- 34:27of times. There's going to be wars.
- 34:30There's going to be like killing everything.
- 34:31That's not. I think it's a joyous return for
- 34:33a moment. That believer is going to love
- 34:36that, that return of Unmeti ma Allah, Hastings reappearance.
- 34:39But one thing I do want to add to the points we were mentioning
- 34:42that the challenges are true. Saying that and it's not just
- 34:44oppression. The challenges are society, like
- 34:47society's, just going downhill. Morality is just going down the
- 34:50drain. The evil has become good and the
- 34:52bad has become something like legitimized and subhan Allah.
- 34:57The days we live here today, facts that we know as facts are
- 35:01being challenged. The the basic things such as
- 35:04biology. I mean if we're worried now, I
- 35:07don't know what it's going to be for years down the line for our
- 35:09children or possibly our grandchildren, how life can be.
- 35:11And for them it's going to be even more challenging and more
- 35:14dangerous. So what does it take saying that
- 35:16to be like steadfast on that path of, you know, I am ready
- 35:21whatever the cost, whatever the challenges, whatever may come my
- 35:25my way or for my children's way. How can we remain truth
- 35:29continuously? Because it's nice we're speaking
- 35:31here, our energy levels are up. It's the Knights of 15 Shaban.
- 35:35Of course we're going to speak about Imam Mehdi.
- 35:37How can we make that continuous throughout the year?
- 35:41It's like that relationship. As well, especially saying when
- 35:43we're in the like the the heat of of temptation.
- 35:47So you know you're tempted to do a sin, You're tempted to skip
- 35:52your Salah, you're tempted to listen to music, You're tempted
- 35:55to talk to the opposite gender. How do I build a a, a habit of
- 36:00remembering the Imam and the imam's wishes for me when I'm in
- 36:03my lowest of the low? Because right now I say that Ali
- 36:05mentioned we are in the peaks, have handled a lot of of
- 36:08spirituality and and energy, but there are times where we're not
- 36:11like that, especially in other times of the year.
- 36:14I speak to myself before I speak to any of you, because all of
- 36:17you are better in my eyes than a lot of times.
- 36:19Award you all the best. Oh, and fusa kamua.
- 36:23Hello, oh and fusa Kamua. Last one says.
- 36:27Save yourselves and your families.
- 36:29Save yourselves and your own ones, your close ones.
- 36:34This is the time that we really are challenging times, really
- 36:38testing times, and at the same time remember that Imam is
- 36:42praying for us, Imam is remembering for us.
- 36:46In fact, he wrote in a letter to Sheikh Al Mafid.
- 36:50And we're not absent, Imam says. We are not absent of what's
- 36:59going on in your affairs and we're not heedless of
- 37:05remembrance of you, of thinking of you, of praying for you.
- 37:09So he says, do everything that brings you closer and hub
- 37:16towards the Imam, towards Allah and Waliyetta, Jannab, Ammar,
- 37:23Yudney. And let inform Shah Mufid.
- 37:27Inform the followers, inform the people, let them stay away from
- 37:31all those things that the Imam dislikes.
- 37:36That the Imam gets upset that my follower, my beloved one, he
- 37:41performed this, he done this in his life.
- 37:44So I think if we can always keep that in our mind, the how much
- 37:51or how many steps in in that process that I'm doing, is it
- 37:56going to satisfy my Imam? Is it going to show love towards
- 38:00my Imam? Is my Imam going to be pleased
- 38:03with? And yes, there are going to be
- 38:06those temptations. Those temptations are a temporal
- 38:10satisfaction of myself. And that's why a true test of a
- 38:14human being is when he removes those satisfaction, those
- 38:18moments of satisfaction of the Nets.
- 38:21Why? For greater satisfaction, the
- 38:24satisfaction of the Imam of my time?
- 38:26Because that's a sign of a person who's truly waiting.
- 38:32Truly eager was waiting. Should be someone who's
- 38:37preparing. If I'm saying I'm waiting for
- 38:41Said, I need to come to my house.
- 38:46I should really be prepared. My home should be prepared.
- 38:49Everything. For the moment of his arrival, I
- 38:54said You said something interesting when he rings your
- 38:57doorbell. Are you ready?
- 38:59How many of us? If our Imam rings our doorbell?
- 39:02A great joyful occasion is sha Allah, how many of us would be
- 39:06like Yam al Hassan Tafaban? My Imam, I've been waiting for
- 39:11you for years and now I have the honor.
- 39:14See, I mean we are shahnor of this couple of weeks ago.
- 39:16I don't know if you had we are shahnor of this.
- 39:19What would you do if the Holy Imam came to your house?
- 39:22He was like, Oh my God, you know, mashallah he he.
- 39:26So my fear is my fear is myself, that some of us may or myself
- 39:34say I'm not. Am I actually ready?
- 39:36Am I prepared? We could possibly shut that door
- 39:38while. God forbid I remember a Sheikh
- 39:41who said this, he said. God forbid we ever see such a
- 39:44moment that the imam keeps on knocking on people's homes.
- 39:50And those who were saying, yeah, that Hassan were ready was
- 39:54actually, can you wait a bit? Wait outside?
- 39:57Why? Because I need to remove the.
- 39:58Said. We've seen stories like this
- 40:00with our previous imams. We've seen times where Miramotte
- 40:04Minin was shunned in the public. We've seen times where Imam and
- 40:07Hussain, Imam and Hassan were shunned from the public and
- 40:09times even where the representatives of the imams
- 40:12would go out to search for the people.
- 40:15We talk about how Hazrat Muslim and how he was door to door to
- 40:18door to door in the night in Kufa.
- 40:21That was playing through my head.
- 40:22Yeah, yeah, same same door to door.
- 40:24And it just makes you think that if if the time comes in history
- 40:28repeats itself, there there is no in my mind.
- 40:31I see as no coincidence that we talk about 313 and we talk about
- 40:37when the Holy Imam reappears. He makes these five statements
- 40:40in by the Kaaba, three of which relates to Imam and Hossein
- 40:44Islam that you know history will repeat itself.
- 40:47And if anything, a lost pantal says so many times on your Quran
- 40:51that I made you given you these stories for you to reflect on so
- 40:55shallow we can, you know, take them and take heed of them
- 41:00because it's very easy for us to see.
- 41:02I'm I, yeah, I'm, I'm, I pay my membership to the mosque.
- 41:06Or maybe in my case, I have very membership to the mosque, not
- 41:08every mosque. And, you know, I I visit the
- 41:11Majalis and I call my son Mehdi, and my father's called Ali.
- 41:14And I'm a Shia. Like, do you know what I mean by
- 41:17label? Perhaps, you know, by the app on
- 41:19my phone. The wallpaper on my phone may
- 41:21show I'm a Shia. What's the action?
- 41:23What's in my heart? Well, that's when they came to
- 41:27the Imams and they said this. I'm one of your Shia, OK?
- 41:31A man came to this, the 2nd Imam, because many of us use
- 41:35this term loosely. Yes, he said yeah, Abdullah if
- 41:41in Kuntalana, if towards our Awamir was Awajir Awa miRNA was
- 41:48Awajir. And if towards our commands and
- 41:51prohibitions to the Imams commands and prohibitions of
- 41:55course their their commands and prohibitions are the commands of
- 41:59Allah and few obedience fully obedient fully God and fully
- 42:08serving forgot so that then your truth or actually your a Shia
- 42:13Then the Imam said wait but if not then do not increase in your
- 42:19sins by claiming to be of a status was you're not.
- 42:25Well that's why when we say we're Shia inshallah we are
- 42:29Shia. We should look at the imams
- 42:31narrations of the characteristics of a Shia, the
- 42:37Shia of prophet Ibrahim Ali Saddam the Shia of the Holy
- 42:41Prophet Muhammad Sallallallahu Alaihi wasallam the Shia of Amir
- 42:45alumni. There are narrations that say
- 42:47was Shia to Aliyan. Narrations from the 11th Imam.
- 42:52If a person has these characteristics can truly be
- 42:55called she was Shia to Aliyah and the Shia of the 12th Imam
- 42:59Today what characteristics do I have today?
- 43:05The characteristics of a multman to show.
- 43:09Sometimes it's hard to show that I'm a true Shia.
- 43:12Some of us we show our love for other things more than our love
- 43:18towards our Imam. Simple example, the love of
- 43:23someone towards their football club jersey.
- 43:27The colour for example, the T-shirt, the cap they wear, the
- 43:32trainers even or sometimes even everything they show for the
- 43:38same colour I sent them But and they want to show it to others.
- 43:42Even when when you speak to them, they keep on going on and
- 43:45on. So have you.
- 43:46I understood you love the sea but he wants to show it.
- 43:49Man have the shape and Lahey Jebedique, one who loves
- 43:52something wants to constantly mention it.
- 43:54Where do we show our love towards our Imam?
- 43:58Where do we show we love him? This is the way we speak, the
- 44:02way we act, the way we conduct ourselves.
- 44:06In fact, someone said the quite interesting example, he said
- 44:09when you see some people, they're in love with something
- 44:11so much, see how they act when they lose that thing, even for a
- 44:17few days, he said. I saw someone who lost their
- 44:22pet, their cat, they went to the roads, the community, the local
- 44:30radio even pronouncing please, my cat has this sign, everything
- 44:36to show that look, this is something that I love, a pet
- 44:40that I've taken care of and I've lost it for this many.
- 44:44Days they couldn't bear the absence.
- 44:46Ascent. They felt the frock.
- 44:49And then when they find it, it's the happiest day in their life.
- 44:54Where do we show that? Lots of my Imam in my life
- 44:58today. Very, very true.
- 44:59Where do I show that his absence is hurtful?
- 45:03I'm suffocating in his absence? Or am I just living happily if
- 45:06you can? Because there are days where
- 45:08some of us will go by and we will not remember the holy Imam.
- 45:12We won't recite Dal faraj, we won't do his yada.
- 45:15And these kind of like small daily actions.
- 45:18They they become habitual for us and they embed in our soul and
- 45:22our personality for some of us. If you say where, if you went
- 45:25five days without doing the ziad or the Salaam to the only imam,
- 45:30does it affect you? Does it hurt you?
- 45:33You know, for some of us it doesn't matter.
- 45:35We may go a month without it. We may go many God knows how
- 45:38long before we bow our heads for the only mum like you know.
- 45:42For others it will hurt, it will yearn.
- 45:44And I was going to ask you this earlier but I think you've
- 45:47answered my question. I was about is there a litmus
- 45:49test like is there something which I can use to to filter out
- 45:53to know whether I am currently at a stage I need to be or not.
- 45:56I think everyone will say I'm I'm not and everyone will say
- 45:58I'm not I I can improve. I know my potential but you know
- 46:01this. This is a good example.
- 46:03If I had a few days away from the Holy Imam or without
- 46:07remembering the Holy Imam, would it affect me?
- 46:08Would I realize, You know, because many of us wouldn't even
- 46:11realize, Perhaps you? See what I mean?
- 46:13Even in sending it in our children and our young ones even
- 46:17simple tasks that we do. Let them remember the Imam when
- 46:22they want to give sadaqa say sadaqa and love of your Imam.
- 46:26Once you when you want to give a gift them something say this is
- 46:30a gift not just from your parents gift in honor of your
- 46:34Imam Zaman on the days of Shaban for my son, for my daughter, let
- 46:39that recollection of the Imam of their time be in their hearts
- 46:44and minds that day. Even as a young, at a young age,
- 46:47they always show their love, have their love towards their
- 46:51Imam and that will increase in their hope in them and their
- 46:56love towards the Imam. Like the companions of Imam and
- 46:59Hussein, like the companions of the Imams, like the companions
- 47:03of Rasulullah was that love grew within them, that love was
- 47:07something that stayed and grew within them.
- 47:09And of course, there is one more L We need to also mention love
- 47:15and loyalty. The loyalty of those towards
- 47:19Imam Hussein. The loyalty of those companions.
- 47:24The loyalty of the true ones. How much am I loyal to my Imam?
- 47:30How much am I BA Wafaa? Am I of those who have Wafi have
- 47:36wafaa within them? How much am I really close to
- 47:40him, attached to him? How much do my words and actions
- 47:43show that I'm loyal towards my Imam?
- 47:45This is a lesson we can learn from many other things in life.
- 47:49A dog it's loyal towards, It's loyalty towards their master and
- 47:53those who are loyal towards their loved ones.
- 47:57How much of my loyalty wants my Imam?
- 47:59Because love and loyalty need to go hand in hand in shelves I.
- 48:02Really love these points. Say it because it makes me think
- 48:05of there's so much like critical things that we need to consider
- 48:08in our day-to-day lives to ensure like you know where our
- 48:12heart is, the direction, like our end goal, our our aim like
- 48:15where is it heading. And inshallah is is towards
- 48:17inshallah working towards becoming closer to the Imam of
- 48:20our time. But it makes me ask a question
- 48:22because it reminds me of a hadith that I've always heard of
- 48:25growing up and I've always read it numerous times as the one who
- 48:28dies without knowing the Imam of this time will die of death.
- 48:32One considered to be ignorance and that raises say a number of
- 48:35questions for that hadith to be said all the time and to be read
- 48:40all the time and mentioned all the time.
- 48:42A lot of people struggle to understand the meaning behind
- 48:44it. And I and I and I think from
- 48:46what I've understood that means for us to truly know the Imam
- 48:49Sahab al Asia was was the man which is the Yarman Mehdi who's
- 48:51our Imam of our time is that there is a level of duty we must
- 48:56act on and there is a number of responsibilities we have towards
- 49:01the Imam of our time, especially during this time of labour.
- 49:05What are those duties and responsibilities that is
- 49:08expected of us so that we can have that amount of that I
- 49:12obtain that belief, that relationship and that connection
- 49:15with Imam and Mahdi. So interestingly this hadith is
- 49:18not only narrated from our Holy Prophet Salallahu honey what is
- 49:21in which is unanimously agrees. We also have this hadith
- 49:25mentioned by the Imams of the albeit as if reminder have
- 49:31Maarif of your Imam and the 6th Imam to Zorara one of the great
- 49:36companions. I would say Zorara there would
- 49:40be a time that the Shia are Muslims would be away from their
- 49:44Imam and Raba he'll be in Raba. That would be the most testing
- 49:49time. That will be the trial and
- 49:52tribulations of our true Momini Shia in that time and age.
- 49:57Recite this to all related to Ma Arifa related to recognition.
- 50:02Allahu ma Arafni Nefsek Allah Matter of first starts with
- 50:07matter of Allah. If I have the matter of my Imam
- 50:11of my time and I have no matter of Allah, what's the point?
- 50:14There's a loose screw somewhere. What's going on now?
- 50:17Yeah, I need to start with my marathon recognition of Allah
- 50:21Allah marathon F SEC. And if I have no matter of
- 50:26Allah, I have no matter of Allah, the Holy Prophet.
- 50:30So the law I didn't want to say Allah my refnetting.
- 50:36If I have no matter of the Prophet, I have no matter of the
- 50:39Hajj of Allah. Today I love Arif NI Hajetek
- 50:44Fennekel to Arif NI Hajetek Wallal to and Dean.
- 50:48I have gone astray from my Dean from my part.
- 50:51So the first of many responsibilities and duties we
- 50:56have is to increase in I'man 0. Maharifa is not just the
- 51:02superficial. I know my Imam of my time, he's
- 51:05the 12th, he was born on the 15th of Shabam 255AH.
- 51:10He's the son of Imam Hassan. That is superficial, that is.
- 51:15Very basic textbook. Maharifa is true understanding
- 51:21and recognition. And when it comes to Maharifa, I
- 51:23sometimes ask myself how many narrations do I know from my
- 51:28Imam? How many times have I opened the
- 51:32textbook and read the life of the 12th Imam, Sayings of the
- 51:3812th Imam, Statements of the 12th Imam, verses of the Quran
- 51:44which the Imams and the Prophet have said these are in relation
- 51:48to the 12th Imam. These are all ways of increasing
- 51:52my my Arifa, of my Imam. Some some people they come
- 51:56fixated. Also signs of the 12th imams
- 51:58reappearance. Oh it's not too close of the
- 52:01sign so I don't really know that's not true.
- 52:04Marifa Marifa is recognition of your Imam.
- 52:09It's very true awareness of your Imam, full depth knowledge of
- 52:15your Imam. Maybe every single week day
- 52:19increase the marif of your Imam. What step have I taken to
- 52:23increase my matter of awareness of my Imam?
- 52:26Simple task. When you leave your home every
- 52:29day, direct yourself and say as Salaam that is one step of
- 52:36marafa that what you've done is you've done a a recognition that
- 52:42my Imam is alive today and I say Salaam to my Imam today.
- 52:47That's when I wake up and when I go to sleep.
- 52:50I know my imams here. I'm aware of him.
- 52:54I have not left of him in my life.
- 52:55Today when I return home, I do everything in my home, preparing
- 53:02ourselves, my family, my loved ones, my dear ones for my
- 53:08beloved Imam, everything in recognition of my Imam.
- 53:12Even the other day I was during a conversation when someone said
- 53:16that's have so much respect to other members of your beloved
- 53:20community of your society. Because at the very least they
- 53:26have love for their Imam and it's possible that their Matt
- 53:29Arifa of their Imam is more than yours and they may be steps
- 53:33closer to their Imam. So increase in your Matt Arifa
- 53:37of your Imam, your awareness of your Imam, your recognition of
- 53:40your Imam. There are many of the duties and
- 53:44responsibilities that we need to really be aware of rights of our
- 53:49Imam interval. Waiting for Imam truly waiting.
- 53:54Active. Interval.
- 53:55Active interval or Are you ready?
- 53:57We see these slogans nowadays. Campaigns assign campaigns
- 54:02awareness of the Imam. What else do our remembers of
- 54:08the Imam in our duas and the dua should be #1, our Imam of our
- 54:13time, priority in our lives, Precedence in our life should be
- 54:18our Imam. Even simple simple recollection
- 54:23of our Imam in our lives and where in moments that we even
- 54:28think that our connection to Allah but they're also.
- 54:32You can also have that remembrance of your Imam.
- 54:35For example, one of the great deeds of Salah and the best deed
- 54:40of Salah is to perform at the time of favila.
- 54:43Yes, when I'm performing at the time of favila.
- 54:47Let me remember this is the time that my Imam also prays.
- 54:51The Imam does not pray delayed to hear.
- 54:54And what you'll pray at the time of favila?
- 54:57Yes, you'll pray at the earliest time.
- 54:59That's my Imam. That's when he'll pray.
- 55:02Would you pray in the last minutes just before it becomes
- 55:05other? That's not a true true matter of
- 55:09the Imam because a matter of the Imam says that the Imam will
- 55:12prayer time the rights of Hajj when I go to Hajj Inshallah
- 55:17Allah Subhana Taala gives us that tall fear to go to Hajj.
- 55:21Remember your imam's also performing Hajj and that may
- 55:26also be a moment in our lives that's physically we are close
- 55:32in distance from in Hajj. We may not have future my sins.
- 55:36He had the opportunity to see him, but he is there, he's aware
- 55:39of us. He's performing pawaf, he's an
- 55:41Arafat, he's in MENA, he's in those tents.
- 55:45When we go to Ziara of Imam Al Hussein, the Imam is performing
- 55:50the Ziara, the Ziara of the Al bait.
- 55:54How much have I really had that Marifa that these steps I'm
- 55:58taking walking towards Karbala? Inshallah, that's how many, How
- 56:02many steps am I taking closer to my Imam?
- 56:05And I really love some of those slogans that I've seen.
- 56:10That's these steps that I'm taking are hadiya for my imam,
- 56:14for law. Why?
- 56:16That shows? Yeah, Santo beautiful.
- 56:19That's steps that I'm taking for my Imam.
- 56:22This reminds us, look how much of our deeds have we gifted it
- 56:26to my Imam? What about you?
- 56:27Not lie to Allah, he doesn't need my my deeds.
- 56:32But it shows that I'm showing myself devotion, my accent, my
- 56:36devotion and love. That this is everything in love
- 56:38of Allah and love of my Imam. Imam of my time.
- 56:42Simple dua on a Friday a Friday which is dua of our Imam the
- 56:48zihar of my Imam Dua nutber. Many times you ask on what we
- 56:53need. Brothers sisters, do I own nut
- 56:55on a Friday day, a week by week basis.
- 56:58Recite the dua nutber. If you can't enter enter the
- 57:01center recite at home dua or nudba.
- 57:05Recite between you and Allah remembers of your imam.
- 57:10Recite the ziara of the 12th Imam on a Friday as Salaam
- 57:15alaiki alaiki al sahaba ziman. Recite your Salaam.
- 57:24Have presidents of your Imam in your day-to-day lives.
- 57:29Everything priority is my Imam. There are two moments that are
- 57:34difficult. Truly is difficult.
- 57:36That's the test. How much will it please my Imam?
- 57:40How much will it being closer to my Imam?
- 57:43How much will it bring me closer to Allah, Muhammad to Allah
- 57:47after Maharib and before Maharib always remembering.
- 57:50No pardon. Imam truly, I I mean I think we
- 57:54we really, really need to increase our Muad Muhammad
- 58:00towards my Imam. Inshallah because none of this,
- 58:03none of our deeds would have a blessing.
- 58:09You know that's sparking your life without our imam's
- 58:13blessing, without that signature I sent, without that topia,
- 58:17without that signature of that Imam.
- 58:19You know when you do all your good deeds and you work so hard,
- 58:23then you think, why didn't I get the certificate?
- 58:26If I don't get the certificate at the end of the day that you
- 58:29are a true fellow of the 12th Imam, then what have I done in
- 58:33my life? What's the worth?
- 58:37Santo said. You've given us a lot.
- 58:39Real have conversation, huh? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 58:42Like I'm having an epiphany and also like an internal panic
- 58:47attack. What have I been doing my whole
- 58:49life now? Hamdulillah said that, thank you
- 58:50so much. I think you've you've given us
- 58:53both inspiration for look and hope for the future and also
- 58:58practical day-to-day tips which we all need.
- 59:01We all need to find a way to rebuild that connection with the
- 59:04Holy Imam and to understand that the Imam loves us as well.
- 59:08And you know he's yearning for us and he has a desire, a hope
- 59:11for us that the the the earlier Imams have foretold about us and
- 59:16our community in that they have looked at us with hope as well.
- 59:20So inshallah we can be amongst those who are destined for
- 59:23greatness beside the Holy Imam. I think that is probably the
- 59:27best gift that we can get. You know the best honour that we
- 59:32can ever receive insha'allah and we pray saying that we are
- 59:35beside the Holy Imam and also beside you.
- 59:38And you know inshallah, we continue to learn from your your
- 59:41wisdom and your knowledge. The knowledge that you've gifted
- 59:44to our community for for decades now have to learn in
- 59:46Charlemagne. Long may continue and we pray
- 59:49for our last Pantallah to always give you more Baraka risk and
- 59:52success. Insha'allah, I mean, I said.
- 59:54I didn't really find the words. I just want to generally, deep
- 59:57down from the heart, thank you Sid, because it's made me think,
- 1:00:00truly think quite deeply is like where I am currently at the
- 1:00:03stage of my life in terms of my relationship with the Imam of my
- 1:00:07time. So it's I think it's really
- 1:00:09going to help guide me inshallah to make that connection with my
- 1:00:13living Imam. I need to always remember he is
- 1:00:15alive and he's there, how to improve that, how to work on
- 1:00:18myself and better myself. And I know everyone listening
- 1:00:20and watching to this. Charlotte Podcast and
- 1:00:23conversation. They really benefited from this
- 1:00:25episode. And if and if you haven't, I
- 1:00:28really need you to check your hearts because I learned so.
- 1:00:30Today today. But when you in Charlotte if you

- 1:01:28And Charlotte, if we are last moments in our life, we're not
- 1:01:33there at the moment of the reappearance.
- 1:01:36At least let's have this hope that the moment that we're
- 1:01:40placed six feet under, that the Imam is blessed and is pleased
- 1:01:46with us and you can say He is one of us, Inshallah.
