- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's a very special episode of the Almost Famous podcast.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I am sitting next to you, yes, in person, my
- 0:12Speaker 2: incredible co host, Thanks man.
- 0:14Speaker 3: We just took pictures and he thought that maybe we
- 0:17Speaker 3: looked too married and not like like our husband wife
- 0:20Speaker 3: work wife.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a good balance for us. So here's our issue.
- 0:25Speaker 2: We get on a red carpet and I just automatically
- 0:29Speaker 2: feel like, Okay, the only way to do this is
- 0:30Speaker 2: put my arm around you.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:32Speaker 2: But then we were in that like posture yeah for
- 0:35Speaker 2: a little bit. Yeah, And I said, I whispered to
- 0:38Speaker 2: Nashley's eier as people were taking pictures. I said, I
- 0:40Speaker 2: feel like this isn't the best look for us.
- 0:42Speaker 3: I thought as well, And you thought that why maybe
- 0:45Speaker 3: we haven't taken together on the red carpet since we
- 0:48Speaker 3: were actually single? Because I think if we were like
- 0:50Speaker 3: not dating, of course, but single, we can still do
- 0:54Speaker 3: the whole waste hold.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I would if we were single and there was a
- 0:57Speaker 2: headline been a nationally dating happened.
- 1:00Speaker 3: That happened the launch of this podcast, remember, but it
- 1:02Speaker 3: was way too recent from your breakup with Lauren for
- 1:06Speaker 3: you to think it was cool. Don't you remember we
- 1:08Speaker 3: were at the concert with Amy. Oh, yeah, we're seeing
- 1:12Speaker 3: We're seeing Oh my god, Brian, Brian Brian, Oh my god,
- 1:16Speaker 3: I love Brian, Brian Adams. Yeah, we're seeing Brian Adams.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I was going to say that, Yeah, you were going
- 1:23Speaker 3: to say that. And we we got those There was
- 1:27Speaker 3: like proper. There was like somebody sent their pictures in
- 1:29Speaker 3: the TMZ of us like just like literally just dancing,
- 1:32Speaker 3: not touching.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Just for the record, I've never kissed Ashley.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Absolutely not, Like that's the weirdness that ever, it was
- 1:41Speaker 3: awkward to be but anyways, we got our pictures in
- 1:43Speaker 3: the red carpet.
- 1:45Speaker 2: We found our right pasture. It was great. We get
- 1:47Speaker 2: to see each other in less than ten days two times,
- 1:51Speaker 2: which is is fairly uncommon for us.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Makes the podcast great well, and I like it, like
- 1:56Speaker 4: I like seeing.
- 1:57Speaker 2: We did get to road trip in our Hyundai from
- 2:01Speaker 2: LA to Santa Barbara, and you know, obviously you're gonna
- 2:04Speaker 2: see on social media there's some posts about us doing
- 2:06Speaker 2: that road trip. But we got to catch up a
- 2:08Speaker 2: lot too.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it was so nice.
- 2:10Speaker 3: I came home and I was like, Jared, I know
- 2:12Speaker 3: that like, we can get stressed by travel a lot.
- 2:15Speaker 4: But I really wish you had gone on this trip.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Not that he had the choice too because he.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Had to work and then there's dozen, but I was like,
- 2:22Speaker 3: it's really sad that you messed out on.
- 2:23Speaker 4: That one, particularly because like they were your bros.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it would have been great, and I would have
- 2:28Speaker 2: loved Jess to be there too, because we stayed in
- 2:30Speaker 2: beautiful places.
- 2:32Speaker 4: So we shared with a beautiful spouse, Yeah we had.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Instead I just slept alone. But we have got to
- 2:39Speaker 2: see each other a lot lately. It's been awesome. We
- 2:41Speaker 2: are in Austin. We're staying at the Driscoo Hotel. The
- 2:44Speaker 2: drist School is owned by Hyatt. It is beautiful, Like the.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Bar area is old fashion cool, my jam like early
- 2:52Speaker 3: nineteen nineties. Feel like it almost feels like a Cheers bar.
- 2:56Speaker 3: But it also has like antlers on the wall.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Yeah, the golden ceiling.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a copper ceiling. That's cool. So I told
- 3:04Speaker 4: my sister, well, actually it's weird is that.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Leading up to this trip, I heard multiple people say
- 3:08Speaker 3: that we were staying in a haunted hotel and then
- 3:10Speaker 3: we were texting with Chris and Laurenzimo are going dinner
- 3:13Speaker 3: with tonight, and they were like, oh, you're staying there ghosts.
- 3:17Speaker 4: I'm like, oh man, this is really a thing.
- 3:19Speaker 3: So I call my sister, who's like a ghost hunter,
- 3:21Speaker 3: like she she's hunted ghosts before. She's really into it.
- 3:25Speaker 3: And I go, Lauren, I'm staying somewhere haunted tonight. And
- 3:27Speaker 3: she knew I was in Austin, but she didn't nowhere.
- 3:30Speaker 4: And then I go. She goes, oh, tell me more,
- 3:33Speaker 4: and I go this place called the Dress Go and
- 3:35Speaker 4: she's like the dress goal, tell you're staying there. She's
- 3:40Speaker 4: like that places on the ghost on her shows all
- 3:42Speaker 4: the time. I'm so jealous.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it's weird. Most people don't stay jealous. So we're
- 3:48Speaker 2: sitting in a suite right now that is supposedly haunted.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Well, I know you are the one that did the
- 3:53Speaker 3: research at the sweets for the haunted ones.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and one of our head producers is living in
- 4:00Speaker 2: this suite.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Tonight husband, so she's not sleeping alone like the two
- 4:03Speaker 3: of us, and that's a little bit more scary.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah. So let me tell you a ghost story really quick.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Yes, please?
- 4:08Speaker 2: And everybody, I mean, I'm feeling like now, at least
- 4:12Speaker 2: as I get older, people have different opinions on if
- 4:16Speaker 2: ghost surreal or not. I get that, and that's fair.
- 4:19Speaker 2: My dad has a ghost story. Okay, I've never told
- 4:22Speaker 2: you this. So my dad used to open up hotels
- 4:25Speaker 2: for a living. He was like a manager of new
- 4:28Speaker 2: openings for this hotel brand, and he's at one of
- 4:32Speaker 2: the hotels. And my dad, if you've you've ever seen
- 4:34Speaker 2: him on television, if you've ever met him in person,
- 4:36Speaker 2: he is a ridiculous character. He's the sweetest, most authentic
- 4:43Speaker 2: person I've ever met. I love him.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I have his memory that I'll just say briefly, like
- 4:48Speaker 3: we were at the it's like it's the rehearsal dinner
- 4:52Speaker 3: of your wedding and I went alone because he was
- 4:54Speaker 3: at an other wedding the night before than in Mexico
- 4:56Speaker 3: that I couldn't go to pregnant, and your dad like
- 4:59Speaker 3: was waiting with me as I waited for my uber.
- 5:01Speaker 3: And he's just like the cutest, sweetest and warmest man
- 5:04Speaker 3: that you could feel like you just babble onto.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like he's he's the best dad. I love
- 5:08Speaker 2: him a lot, definition and great dad. And he tells
- 5:12Speaker 2: me the story where him and his buddy we were
- 5:15Speaker 2: walking up the stairs at this hotel when nobody else
- 5:17Speaker 2: was staying in it, yet they were just gary to
- 5:19Speaker 2: open it, and this white, cold like mist like blanket
- 5:25Speaker 2: of like wind came rushing over them and knocked him
- 5:28Speaker 2: both to the ground. He tells the story ever since
- 5:31Speaker 2: I was a little kid, and he tells it with
- 5:32Speaker 2: like no, it happened to me in Indiana. It was
- 5:35Speaker 2: actually in Kentucky when it opened up. But my dad,
- 5:39Speaker 2: like he he's a jokester in a little bit of
- 5:42Speaker 2: a way, but he would have told me by now,
- 5:43Speaker 2: and he like tells it with like true honesty. And
- 5:45Speaker 2: then as I've gotten older, more and more people have
- 5:48Speaker 2: told me their interactions with ghosts, like seeing like somebody
- 5:52Speaker 2: standing in the corner or whatever. So I and these
- 5:55Speaker 2: are people I trust the I'm more and more convinced
- 5:59Speaker 2: that some thing exists out there. And so here's my
- 6:02Speaker 2: interest because this gets fun for me. Okay, listeners, we
- 6:05Speaker 2: always love hearing from you. It's always a big deal
- 6:08Speaker 2: to hear from you. If you have any stories of interactions,
- 6:11Speaker 2: ghost stories or people that you know, please write to us.
- 6:15Speaker 2: It's been an Ashley at iHeartMedia dot com. Sure, sure
- 6:20Speaker 2: ghost stories because we're in one of the most haunted places.
- 6:23Speaker 2: The DRISCO owns this, but I will say it's worse
- 6:26Speaker 2: staying here. It's beautiful, it's an amazing place. Yeah, but
- 6:30Speaker 2: they do own the idea that it is haunted. They
- 6:32Speaker 2: have ghost tours here.
- 6:33Speaker 4: There was also the ghost drinks of the bar. They're
- 6:37Speaker 4: like all they embrace it.
- 6:39Speaker 2: They embrace it. There's been a lot of stories here,
- 6:42Speaker 2: but I know there's some good ones out there. And
- 6:44Speaker 2: the older I get, the more interested I am in these.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Okay, so you've never encountered like anything ghostly, not that.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I know of, No, nothing I remember.
- 6:51Speaker 3: So this is not really a scary ghost story, but
- 6:54Speaker 3: really really simply my sister. Now we're younger, I want
- 6:57Speaker 3: to say maybe I was like I would say maybe
- 7:00Speaker 3: early high school. My sister's probably like in middle school,
- 7:03Speaker 3: and we had both gone to bed, or maybe she
- 7:06Speaker 3: was still downstairs in the family room with my dad,
- 7:09Speaker 3: and I was like getting ready for bed, just got
- 7:10Speaker 3: in bed whatever. It was like one of those times
- 7:12Speaker 3: where you're like able to make your own bedtime, like
- 7:15Speaker 3: that age.
- 7:16Speaker 4: My dad's in his office.
- 7:17Speaker 3: My mom is probably like in the family room and
- 7:19Speaker 3: all of a sudden, we hear the foyer fill with
- 7:24Speaker 3: an opera singer's voice, like it was like ooh, it
- 7:27Speaker 3: was like sounded like we were at like Italian opera
- 7:30Speaker 3: for ten seconds.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Long, and I go out, We like run out to
- 7:35Speaker 4: the foyer and we're like, did you hear that? And
- 7:38Speaker 4: like only she.
- 7:39Speaker 3: And I heard that, And my parents are like, we
- 7:42Speaker 3: have no idea what you're saying. But it filled the
- 7:45Speaker 3: entire center of the house and we were all like
- 7:48Speaker 3: sort of off the center of the house.
- 7:50Speaker 4: They didn't hear it.
- 7:51Speaker 3: And our theory is that there were some opera singing
- 7:56Speaker 3: ghosts that passed through the house and it was at
- 7:59Speaker 3: a frequency that only young people can hear, because you
- 8:01Speaker 3: know that once you hit a certain age it is
- 8:04Speaker 3: around eighteen, you can't hear a certain frequency anymore. No, Yeah,
- 8:09Speaker 3: girls are supposed to live in that weird frequency, which
- 8:12Speaker 3: is why, like kids often pick up on ghosts.
- 8:14Speaker 4: More like I have this one really good friend.
- 8:17Speaker 3: And her mom passed away when we were in grad school,
- 8:21Speaker 3: and her niece would say things after she passed away, like, oh, no,
- 8:26Speaker 3: Grandma's down there, and she's like, what do you mean?
- 8:28Speaker 4: She's like your grandma. She hangs out in the closet.
- 8:31Speaker 2: We talked there, no way. Yeah, So is this when
- 8:34Speaker 2: Lauren got her interests at.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Ghost Lauren was always petrified of ghosts. She was like
- 8:39Speaker 4: the creepy kid.
- 8:40Speaker 3: That would sit by my parents' bedside, like in the
- 8:43Speaker 3: middle of the night and then like my mom would
- 8:44Speaker 3: like feel like a presence. Then she'd open her eyes
- 8:46Speaker 3: and like scream bloody murder because Laurence's like staring at her.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Oh.
- 8:50Speaker 3: She would do that to like me and them, And
- 8:53Speaker 3: I think it was her way of when she was
- 8:55Speaker 3: like in high school of like kind of tackling her
- 8:57Speaker 3: fear of ghosts.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Was just become really interested in them.
- 9:00Speaker 2: So interesting. We are in Austin. It's an amazing place here.
- 9:16Speaker 2: We're here for the at X TV Festival. We're representing
- 9:20Speaker 2: iHeart with our podcast. We have an incredible line up
- 9:25Speaker 2: with us like Jenny Garth and Teddy Mellencamp, Christine Taylor,
- 9:29Speaker 2: Christine Taylor, Kevin McHale and David Lasher. Just a great
- 9:35Speaker 2: group from My Heart here with us where we just
- 9:37Speaker 2: had a lot of fun with pictures and but now
- 9:40Speaker 2: we have headlines Ashley. We do have bachelor headlines this week.
- 9:43Speaker 2: We're gonna have some great content coming your way, but
- 9:48Speaker 2: some headlines for everybody. Yeah, okay, first headline is this
- 9:52Speaker 2: h didn't know what was happening, didn't get the invite.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Not surprised because I've only met her once in my life.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Andy Dorfmann Mayor He's Blaine heart and dreamy. Yes, this
- 10:02Speaker 2: is the headline Dreamy Italian wedding. Her quote is he's
- 10:06Speaker 2: my person.
- 10:07Speaker 4: It's very sweet. They had seventy five guests in Sorrento, Italy.
- 10:13Speaker 4: It was like a three day event sort of.
- 10:15Speaker 3: There was like a different little dinners leading up to it,
- 10:18Speaker 3: and Andy had four dresses. She said, I would marry
- 10:22Speaker 3: him anywhere. I don't need a wedding to Mary Blaine,
- 10:25Speaker 3: but I need the wedding for the dresses. And then
- 10:29Speaker 3: our notable mentions of guests would be Tasha, Hannah Ann
- 10:33Speaker 3: and Amanda Stanton.
- 10:35Speaker 4: They were all in attendance, and yeah, so it was
- 10:40Speaker 4: quite quite the thing.
- 10:42Speaker 3: They got married out on like a harbor, like a
- 10:44Speaker 3: boat harbor and Sorrento, and then they got on a
- 10:46Speaker 3: boat and then they were taken to a different hotel
- 10:49Speaker 3: where they had the cocktail hour and dinner.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the quote from Taitia says it all.
- 10:56Speaker 2: It says, this is what a girl's trip should look
- 10:58Speaker 2: like when they're on the boat.
- 11:00Speaker 4: A little jealous. I mean, I knew almost gonna get
- 11:01Speaker 4: invited in he's wedding.
- 11:02Speaker 3: I haven't seen her in like seven years, but that
- 11:05Speaker 3: looks like a great time.
- 11:07Speaker 2: And can we just pause for a second and celebrate
- 11:13Speaker 2: the fact that Andy Dorfman is married.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I know, I'm so happy for her, Like I mean
- 11:17Speaker 3: that she even said it's like kind of like a
- 11:19Speaker 3: long time coming.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it had obviously had to be the right person,
- 11:24Speaker 2: but this is somebody I don't I don't know how
- 11:27Speaker 2: this will come off. I don't put her in the
- 11:30Speaker 2: same category as Claire, but like, I feel similar to
- 11:35Speaker 2: the situation where I'm like, they've been a part of
- 11:38Speaker 2: Bachelor Nation for so long, they've shared so much of
- 11:40Speaker 2: their life with us because their relationships on the show
- 11:43Speaker 2: didn't work, and then they pursued, you know, relationships after
- 11:47Speaker 2: the show, and some of those didn't work, and so
- 11:49Speaker 2: we've just kind of got her. We've had been able
- 11:52Speaker 2: to root for them for years and grown up kind
- 11:55Speaker 2: of like through the franchise. Mean, Andy was two years
- 11:58Speaker 2: before me or a year before me.
- 11:59Speaker 3: There both on Wan Poplo season interesting and on season
- 12:03Speaker 3: were there were a couple of women like them. I'd
- 12:05Speaker 3: say that Charlene and Andy and Claire were all and
- 12:09Speaker 3: even Nikki kind of like all these badass chicks, right,
- 12:14Speaker 3: They were like tough and like a little rough, like
- 12:16Speaker 3: do not mess with me, but at the same time
- 12:19Speaker 3: really feminine and like had an emotional soft side.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Yeah. What an incredible cast.
- 12:23Speaker 4: It was a good one.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I was really honored to like follow that cast because
- 12:29Speaker 3: that cast of girls just.
- 12:32Speaker 4: They killed it. Yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 2: So, I mean, just a big deal for bascination. Andy
- 12:36Speaker 2: Dorfman is now married to Blaine Hart. What a deal.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Do you know how they met?
- 12:40Speaker 2: I don't so crazy.
- 12:42Speaker 3: They met over ten years ago before the Bachelorette. Ever,
- 12:45Speaker 3: I think almost like in the college years. Her friend
- 12:50Speaker 3: used to play sports with him. They met at a party,
- 12:55Speaker 3: didn't see each other again until years later. Until two
- 12:58Speaker 3: years ago when they were both vacationing in Italy. He
- 13:02Speaker 3: reaches out to her on Instagram and says, do you
- 13:06Speaker 3: want to get drinks? And she goes, well, I'm in
- 13:07Speaker 3: Italy right now, So can't. And then he goes, well,
- 13:11Speaker 3: I'm in Italy now, I see where you are on
- 13:13Speaker 3: Instagram and like, I'm here too, Do you want to
- 13:15Speaker 3: grab drinks? And I said yes, and so that that
- 13:17Speaker 3: plays a movie they got and that plays a role.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Asked to why they got married in Italy, I would.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Have if you would have told me that story, I'd
- 13:25Speaker 2: been like, yeah, they're getting married, Like no chance that
- 13:28Speaker 2: two random people that they've met before in Italy and
- 13:30Speaker 2: they get drinks to the first time Italy and they
- 13:32Speaker 2: don't get married, right, It's very romantic, very romantic. Okay,
- 13:36Speaker 2: speaking of romance Charity, our next bachelorette takes fans behind
- 13:40Speaker 2: the scenes of her bachelorette promo.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Basically, you know how we see she's with that overarching.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Can I pause there? Can I pause there for a second.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I have absolutely loved the memes of her intro compared
- 13:57Speaker 2: to Katie's intro. Oh YEA is funny. It's so good. Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 2: it's so I.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Mean, but I feel like a lot about is Katie
- 14:03Speaker 3: the only one who's comparing her feelings?
- 14:04Speaker 4: There's multiple bachelorts. I never got this rose archy.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I mean, it's beautiful, Like I love watching Charity's promo.
- 14:11Speaker 2: It's one of like, it's like a Hannah Hannah.
- 14:13Speaker 4: The head of Brown one.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that enchanted Cinderella theme one was so good. Yeah,
- 14:19Speaker 3: So basically she just said that when she saw it,
- 14:22Speaker 3: she was just in awe, can't get over it.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Also, some people we were with in Santa Barbara, we
- 14:30Speaker 2: have a podcast out right now with the two of them,
- 14:32Speaker 2: and I think it was an incredible podcast, probably their
- 14:35Speaker 2: most revealing and vulnerable podcast that they've had to date.
- 14:40Speaker 2: The Bachelor Zach and Katie Bigger's stunning new bachelorette pot
- 14:44Speaker 2: or new engagement photos have been posted. Yeah, they are beautiful.
- 14:49Speaker 3: They took pictures here at a theater in Austin, which
- 14:52Speaker 3: is their home, which we also learned from them actually,
- 14:56Speaker 3: hilariously was kind of like Katy's temporary home. She she
- 15:00Speaker 3: didn't actually live in the house that they showed as
- 15:03Speaker 3: her home.
- 15:04Speaker 4: That's a little Bachelor tidbit for you.
- 15:06Speaker 2: She that happens a lot, though, Yeah, it.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Happens a lot with hometowns.
- 15:10Speaker 3: So she was only she's traveling nurse, so she was
- 15:13Speaker 3: only planning on being in Austin for like three months.
- 15:15Speaker 4: So she had. I don't know another place. Didn't buy
- 15:17Speaker 4: a house like shown? Yeah, didn't they say that she
- 15:22Speaker 4: bought it?
- 15:23Speaker 2: This is her home and he was building stuff inside.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I told her.
- 15:26Speaker 3: When I met her, I was like, oh my gosh,
- 15:28Speaker 3: please tell me that you guys moved into your place
- 15:30Speaker 3: because your place was so cute on TV.
- 15:32Speaker 4: She's like, I was an Arab NB.
- 15:33Speaker 2: You have never seen it.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 3: So anyway, the pictures are gorgeous and there's the two
- 15:37Speaker 3: of them and you know, her and white dresses at
- 15:41Speaker 3: a theater here in Austin.
- 15:42Speaker 2: It's it's pretty incredible, and it was great to spend
- 15:45Speaker 2: time with them in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Well.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Becca Kufrin shows off growing baby bump uh in new
- 15:54Speaker 2: sonogram pics. Uh. It's the favorite picture she's ever gotten,
- 15:59Speaker 2: she says.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Her fair picture she's ever received in her life.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Well of the baby at least, but maybe ever. I
- 16:06Speaker 2: got to talk to her when you were out for
- 16:08Speaker 2: a few weeks. She co hosted this podcast. I mean,
- 16:12Speaker 2: I love Becca. She was a great co host with
- 16:15Speaker 2: me on A Bachelor Live on stage. But the more
- 16:19Speaker 2: I get to talk to Becca, and the more I
- 16:22Speaker 2: get to hear about how Thomas not only treats Becca
- 16:25Speaker 2: but how he is in life. The more I'm impressed
- 16:30Speaker 2: with Thomas, He's jacked, she says. You know, so this
- 16:36Speaker 2: is a big deal. You know how it is get
- 16:38Speaker 2: your first like sonogram picture of your child and how
- 16:43Speaker 2: that feels. Probably, I mean not everybody listening to this
- 16:47Speaker 2: has had the chance to have a baby. But what
- 16:51Speaker 2: does it feel like to get that first picture that
- 16:53Speaker 2: you feel like you could actually see the face and
- 16:55Speaker 2: the figures you.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Like overanalyze it, feel like is that my nose?
- 16:59Speaker 2: Is that the hell? Yeah?
- 17:01Speaker 3: You know, and I'm thinking now, actually, it's more emotional
- 17:05Speaker 3: to think back on the sonogram really than it was
- 17:07Speaker 3: at the time, because it's like, that was a little Dawson.
- 17:11Speaker 4: And when I go and I look.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Backround pictures of even like his actual birthday, you know,
- 17:15Speaker 3: like the pictures in the hospital, I'm like, oh, my god,
- 17:18Speaker 3: that was you.
- 17:19Speaker 4: That was you?
- 17:20Speaker 2: Is how you feel?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't know it was you, but you were
- 17:24Speaker 3: eating that little head and like little did we know
- 17:27Speaker 3: the personality that would develop. It's crazy. It's really cool
- 17:30Speaker 3: to look back around pictures now.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Oh that's so great. Have you kept all of Dawson's
- 17:33Speaker 2: sonogram pictures or some of them.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Yeah, you know where are they?
- 17:38Speaker 3: I have like a sentimental box in the basement, and
- 17:40Speaker 3: then I have like an album that I kind of
- 17:41Speaker 3: just like throw all like loose pictures in, so they're
- 17:44Speaker 3: in one or the other. Yeah, my parents have something too,
- 17:47Speaker 3: because we have multiple copies and there's a lot in
- 17:49Speaker 3: my email, which I definitely need to print out.
- 17:52Speaker 4: That's so crazy that he lives in my belly.
- 17:54Speaker 2: It's so wild. Rights, Yeah, it's so awesome. And I
- 18:01Speaker 2: mean we just watched videos of Dawson as we were
- 18:04Speaker 2: sitting down at the bar tonight, and it is amazing
- 18:07Speaker 2: how his personality has grown and how you have a
- 18:10Speaker 2: little human Yeah, it's so weird.
- 18:11Speaker 4: It's so fun. This has been his most fun week
- 18:13Speaker 4: so far.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Fun week so far.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Yeah, like this specific week, I feel like he's been different.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Sucks he had to leave it and come see me.
- 18:20Speaker 4: It's okay, it's only twenty four hours. I truly make
- 18:22Speaker 4: these trips as quick as possible.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Yeah, this morning I woke up at four am, got
- 18:27Speaker 3: on a six am flight, and then tomorrow I'll be
- 18:29Speaker 3: home by midnight.
- 18:30Speaker 2: There you go. Yeah, it works out so Joe grocery store.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Joe answers listener questions all about his and Serena's upcoming wedding.
- 18:51Speaker 2: This is a big deal because I mean, at this point,
- 18:53Speaker 2: it's been a bit since Paradise, right, we're coming up
- 18:55Speaker 2: in a year since the airing of last.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Season, but two years since they got to.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Exactly that's what I mean. It's been two years, so
- 19:02Speaker 2: this has kind of been a little bit in the waiting,
- 19:04Speaker 2: and you know.
- 19:05Speaker 4: They're already married. So this is like the this is
- 19:07Speaker 4: the your point.
- 19:09Speaker 2: That's a good point. So what do we know about this? Ash?
- 19:12Speaker 4: We know that The fact.
- 19:16Speaker 3: That sticks out to me is that there's a lot
- 19:17Speaker 3: of bachelor weddings coming up. There's Dean and Kalin's, there
- 19:21Speaker 3: is oh my god, why am I blanking? There's Hannah
- 19:26Speaker 3: and Dylan.
- 19:27Speaker 4: There's the two of them, and then who am I missing?
- 19:29Speaker 2: Well, I mean, Hannah sluc is gonna get married.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Yes, she's not getting I don't think that she's Is
- 19:34Speaker 3: she in the running in that in that article?
- 19:36Speaker 4: Oh yeah, there's Marie and Kenny.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Marie Kenny. Yeah, So we talked to a few weeks ago.
- 19:41Speaker 2: So the Thomas and Becka.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Oh, Thomas and Beckat Okay, so.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Which has got thrown off a little bit based.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Because the baby. Yeah, no, no, no.
- 19:50Speaker 3: So the question was, did you guys like have a
- 19:55Speaker 3: group meeting on whether or not you were going to
- 19:58Speaker 3: like choose different for weekends, and he goes, we didn't.
- 20:02Speaker 3: But luckily none of the weddings do fall on the
- 20:05Speaker 3: same weekend because there would definitely be overlapping guests.
- 20:08Speaker 4: And you know that sucks.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, we got to talk about the Kaylin Dean wedding.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I'm assuming we're both going to be there.
- 20:15Speaker 3: So we both are going to that. Yeah, you got,
- 20:18Speaker 3: but then you must be going to beck at Thomas's.
- 20:19Speaker 3: But that's like not in the planning process yet.
- 20:21Speaker 2: It's on the planning process. I hope, I am. They listened,
- 20:25Speaker 2: So and then.
- 20:26Speaker 4: What else was there about Serena and Joe's wedding.
- 20:30Speaker 3: I know that he is said that he was most
- 20:32Speaker 3: excited about the vow exchange, and then he had no
- 20:37Speaker 3: idea that wedding day gifts were a thing, did you
- 20:41Speaker 3: guys exchange?
- 20:42Speaker 4: I don't think that wedding day gifts need to be extravagant.
- 20:45Speaker 3: To me, the letter means more, and I know I
- 20:47Speaker 3: know that that's feels like more of a modern day
- 20:49Speaker 3: thing because like wedding videos and you read the letter
- 20:52Speaker 3: out loud and all that. Did you guys exchange letters
- 20:55Speaker 3: and did you exchange gifts?
- 20:56Speaker 2: That we exchanged letters? Okay, so we didn't not exchange I.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Really don't think that the gifts really mean anything. I
- 21:03Speaker 3: gave Jared like a pair of like one hundred and
- 21:05Speaker 3: fifty dollars like Patriot cufflings, and he got me a
- 21:09Speaker 3: little painting of our wedding venue with the.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Date on it.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah. No, we didn't do any gifts, but we did
- 21:15Speaker 2: do letters. I would say out of all that, I mean,
- 21:18Speaker 2: my wife is a big gift getter. She also doesn't
- 21:22Speaker 2: hate receiving gifts. I am not either.
- 21:25Speaker 4: You don't like you're not a receiver or a giver.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I don't.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Jared doesn't really care either way, but he's so easy
- 21:32Speaker 3: in fun to shop for that I do.
- 21:34Speaker 2: But letters meant a lot to me. Yeah, I still
- 21:37Speaker 2: have all of our letters, and that was important. But
- 21:41Speaker 2: it's not I don't think it's a thing that you
- 21:43Speaker 2: have to get a gift. But if they've talked about it,
- 21:46Speaker 2: don't stress. Yeah, I mean, I feel like that too.
- 21:48Speaker 2: The only thing he should be thinking of is like
- 21:51Speaker 2: getting married, yeah, and not stressing about Yeah.
- 21:54Speaker 3: It's just like a little sign of like, hey, that's
- 21:57Speaker 3: I just thought it would be cute for Jared to
- 21:58Speaker 3: be able to put inder cufflings on for the wedding dock,
- 22:01Speaker 3: you know.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Pass them down to Dawson. When the Patriots haven't won
- 22:04Speaker 2: in twenty five.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Years, will even be Patriots.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Well that's all the headlines we have, ash We do
- 22:12Speaker 2: have a big, a big week of stuff coming up.
- 22:15Speaker 2: We have some really exciting things in our future. We're
- 22:17Speaker 2: getting closer and closer to the Bachelorette season, which were
- 22:20Speaker 2: very very excited about, Ashley. I hope nobody shows up
- 22:26Speaker 2: to your room tonight, meaning ghosts. I hope you know.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Can you like not have your phone on silent or
- 22:33Speaker 3: do not disturb because I would call you first.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll run down there and what you in. Yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 2: I'm on the eighth floor here, but this room is
- 22:42Speaker 2: definitely getting visited, the one we're sitting in right now. Anyways.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Hey, because Danielle has her.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Husband, that's all good. Anyways, Hey, if you haven't tuned
- 22:51Speaker 2: in yet, we did have a breaking episode where Charity's
- 22:55Speaker 2: men were released. We're very excited about that. We break
- 22:59Speaker 2: them down with our first impression.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Does this thing?
- 23:01Speaker 3: I did the name, I did the age, I did
- 23:03Speaker 3: the profession, and then I let Ben do the judging
- 23:05Speaker 3: because he's a way. I'm just so good at judging
- 23:08Speaker 3: people judging, but you're pr friendly about it.
- 23:11Speaker 4: I'd like to say something really dumb.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I feel like, wow, come on, well like kind and
- 23:15Speaker 3: yet judging.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a good looking cast. It's a solid cast.
- 23:19Speaker 2: So that's out right now in our stream as well.
- 23:21Speaker 2: So if you're getting pumped for the next Bachelorette season, yes,
- 23:23Speaker 2: season twenty, make sure you go back and listen to that.
- 23:27Speaker 4: You were season twenty of The Bachelor.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, times fly. They didn't ask me to
- 23:32Speaker 2: come back and do anything for this one, so that's
- 23:35Speaker 2: all right. I'm fine.
- 23:36Speaker 3: You know, our friends, like our barler there, we barely
- 23:39Speaker 3: know anyone there anymore.
- 23:41Speaker 2: And I feel like they're saving me for the old
- 23:45Speaker 2: batches before I get myself into trouble. This has been
- 23:49Speaker 2: the Almost Famous podcast until next time. I've been Ben,
